- 0:05Speaker 1: So hot guy hobbies.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Listen, fellas, this is for you. If you're trying to
- 0:10Speaker 2: attract a lady. There's a top ten list of most
- 0:14Speaker 2: attractive hobbies for men according to women. Gabe, I'm curious
- 0:20Speaker 2: if you partake in any of these.
- 0:22Speaker 1: Hot guy hobbies, the whole few of them.
- 0:24Speaker 3: I'm sure I'd be one to bet there's maybe one
- 0:28Speaker 3: on there that I can think of off the top
- 0:29Speaker 3: of my head that might make the old one.
- 0:31Speaker 1: What do you think.
- 0:32Speaker 2: What's a hot guy hobby you think is on this list?
- 0:36Speaker 3: Well, it depends on right place, right time. Well, I
- 0:39Speaker 3: would think, you know, if you could play the guitar
- 0:41Speaker 3: or whatever, that'd be pretty attractive.
- 0:42Speaker 2: Absolutely, that's number three on list. Playing a musical instrument.
- 0:46Speaker 2: I don't know that hot cross buns on the recorder
- 0:49Speaker 2: makes the cut, but.
- 0:51Speaker 1: Yeah, as long as you're not well you know me.
- 0:53Speaker 2: I get personally offended when some guy busts out an
- 0:55Speaker 2: acoustic guitar at a party and kills the vibe.
- 0:58Speaker 1: But in general, right place, right now, yeah, playing.
- 1:00Speaker 2: A musical instrument that is a hot guy hobby.
- 1:04Speaker 1: I'll fow the list.
- 1:05Speaker 3: Yeah, you know what I've always wanted to do, I
- 1:07Speaker 3: wonder if this would be attractive or not. My wife
- 1:09Speaker 3: would be mortified, But I wonder if there would be
- 1:12Speaker 3: people around who would be like, Oh, that's attractive, that's
- 1:15Speaker 3: so cool. I've always wanted to learn the piano. I
- 1:17Speaker 3: think when I go through a forty life crisis in
- 1:21Speaker 3: a handful of years here, I probably plan on buying
- 1:24Speaker 3: like a keyboarder or piano and learning how to play it.
- 1:26Speaker 3: Oh yeah, well, if anyone gives lessons in the FM area,
- 1:28Speaker 3: let me know seven zero one two eight zero one
- 1:30Speaker 3: nine eight seven. If I'm walking around like the West
- 1:32Speaker 3: Acres Mall, yeah, and there's a piano in there, and
- 1:35Speaker 3: you know there's.
- 1:36Speaker 2: A piano inside the Van mar Oh really yeah.
- 1:40Speaker 3: If I could walk in there and actually play something,
- 1:42Speaker 3: not you know, tinkering around and doing some nobody, actually
- 1:46Speaker 3: play something, that's cool. I wonder if that would be
- 1:48Speaker 3: an attractive thing or if people get cringed out.
- 1:50Speaker 2: Well, you know, Billy Joel met his second wife, Christy Brinkley,
- 1:54Speaker 2: because he was They were at a resort and like
- 1:56Speaker 2: the Bahamas or something, and he was playing the piano
- 1:59Speaker 2: and Christy b walked up with really yeah. I think
- 2:02Speaker 2: Naomi Campbell was with her and Whitney Houston. This is
- 2:05Speaker 2: I watched the documentary on HBO Max and he was
- 2:09Speaker 2: playing the piano and that wooed her.
- 2:11Speaker 3: Whether that's hot or cringey, let me know, because I
- 2:13Speaker 3: am just a perfect combination of both, right right cringe.
- 2:20Speaker 2: Also on the list photography, swimming, gardening, writing, painting, woodworking, cooking.
- 2:27Speaker 1: Cooking is number four, and I feel.
- 2:29Speaker 2: Like that should be higher on the list because cook reading's.
- 2:34Speaker 1: Number one.
- 2:37Speaker 2: Is number one on the list.
- 2:39Speaker 3: Cooking is way better than that. I think, well, I
- 2:42Speaker 3: think food and can cook.
- 2:44Speaker 2: But I think if a girl just sees how often
- 2:47Speaker 2: is a girl just seeing men cooking in the wild?
- 2:50Speaker 1: You know what I mean?
- 2:51Speaker 2: Like if you're but I'm saying in terms of like
- 2:53Speaker 2: a hot girl a hot guy hobby. If a girl
- 2:57Speaker 2: is looking to you know, date or what ever, if
- 3:01Speaker 2: she sees a guy reading in the wild, that's more.
- 3:03Speaker 1: Likely to happen.
- 3:04Speaker 3: Why he sitting down? Well, is he reading X men
- 3:07Speaker 3: or is he reading Encyclopedia?
- 3:09Speaker 2: I think as long as he's kind of cute, I
- 3:11Speaker 2: think it doesn't matter.
- 3:12Speaker 1: You know what.
- 3:12Speaker 2: There's this Instagram account that I follow called hot Guys
- 3:16Speaker 2: Reading NYC and it's literally just pictures.
- 3:21Speaker 1: This makes me sound weird.
- 3:23Speaker 2: It's pictures of guys reading on the subway in New
- 3:27Speaker 2: York City.
- 3:27Speaker 1: Wow, and it is.
- 3:29Speaker 2: I mean, I get why it's number one. Reading is
- 3:31Speaker 2: such a hot we stand a knowledgeable king. Okay, so
- 3:35Speaker 2: reading is the number one hot guy hobby. So guys,
- 3:40Speaker 2: when you're updating your tender profiles, your hinge, your bumble,
- 3:44Speaker 2: whatever the dating outside, Yeah, farmers only dot com, just
- 3:49Speaker 2: add right there in the bio that your hobbies include reading,
- 3:54Speaker 2: playing a musical instrument, cooking, woodworking, painting, writing, gardener, swimming, photography,
- 3:58Speaker 2: and learning a foreign language.
- 4:00Speaker 3: What is a hot guy hobby that maybe we didn't
- 4:04Speaker 3: get to here. Yeah, seven oh one two eight zero
- 4:07Speaker 3: one to nine eight seven. Shoot us a text or
- 4:09Speaker 3: message us, and we'll see if we can help out
- 4:11Speaker 3: some of the fellows out there. By the way, if
- 4:17Speaker 3: you have a little victory, let us know about it
- 4:19Speaker 3: at seven oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven.
- 4:22Speaker 1: We love reading these.
- 4:23Speaker 2: My little victory game is that I enjoyed my first
- 4:28Speaker 2: full weekend with my boys since they've been back from
- 4:31Speaker 2: visiting their dad in Washington, and it was just like
- 4:35Speaker 2: old times. I was yelling at them because they don't
- 4:38Speaker 2: listen to anything I say.
- 4:39Speaker 1: And we all had a great laugh about it. A
- 4:42Speaker 1: retraining Yes, it's like, oh mom, you're still you. But
- 4:49Speaker 1: it really has been a good time.
- 4:51Speaker 2: We do this thing in my house because I let
- 4:53Speaker 2: TikTok tell me how to be a parent. And one
- 4:56Speaker 2: of the things was that there's a therapist who said, like,
- 4:59Speaker 2: you need eight daily hugs to like have a good life,
- 5:04Speaker 2: Like eight daily hugs, that's the minimum nice.
- 5:07Speaker 1: Like endorphins and stuff.
- 5:08Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, And so that was my New Year's
- 5:11Speaker 2: resolution two years ago, was to give my kids eight
- 5:13Speaker 2: hugs a day, which I have. It's like the one
- 5:16Speaker 2: resolution I haven't messed up on, except for obviously on
- 5:19Speaker 2: days where we're literally not in town with each other, right,
- 5:22Speaker 2: And so it's been nice to catch up on hugs
- 5:25Speaker 2: and so we got all the hugging done. I just
- 5:28Speaker 2: feel really happy to have my boys back.
- 5:30Speaker 1: That's wonderful.
- 5:31Speaker 3: Yeah, I would imagine it'd be kind of cool to
- 5:33Speaker 3: have after having somewhat of an empty house for so long,
- 5:37Speaker 3: to just be back into the chaos all.
- 5:39Speaker 2: Yes, And it was very nice when they weren't around
- 5:43Speaker 2: to have like some you know alone time, because I
- 5:46Speaker 2: don't really get that when they are with me. But
- 5:50Speaker 2: I was ready to be done with alone time. I'm ready,
- 5:52Speaker 2: yeah for the kids to be I am ready to
- 5:55Speaker 2: be so overstimulated that now I'm crying because everything is
- 5:58Speaker 2: so loud, Like that's how it should be.
- 6:00Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 6:00Speaker 3: Well, my little victory is something I never thought I
- 6:02Speaker 3: would expect. First off, a minor little victory this and
- 6:06Speaker 3: I am not unique or special here.
- 6:08Speaker 1: Everyone is busy in the summer. Yeah. This was the first.
- 6:12Speaker 3: Weekend Corey and I woke up on Saturday with zero
- 6:15Speaker 3: to do in like two months. It was so nice
- 6:19Speaker 3: to wake up at our house, stay at our house,
- 6:23Speaker 3: and go nowhere and everywhere at the same time. Yeah,
- 6:26Speaker 3: that was wonderful. But my little victory shocked me to
- 6:30Speaker 3: my core. There is a I don't know if you've
- 6:32Speaker 3: heard of this little music, this little musical called Hamilton.
- 6:37Speaker 1: Yeah, obviously I am ten years late on this thing.
- 6:42Speaker 1: This is on you.
- 6:43Speaker 3: You had never seen Hamilon a second of Hamilton. Wow,
- 6:46Speaker 3: And Corey's like, we should watch Hamilton. I have no
- 6:49Speaker 3: idea why. She probably because the ten year anniversary. Yeah yeah,
- 6:53Speaker 3: and I'm like, oh my, I don't know wat him musical.
- 6:55Speaker 1: What are we doing? Yeah?
- 6:58Speaker 3: Five minutes into this thing, I'm going, what is this?
- 7:01Speaker 3: Ten minutes into this thing? I am a fan for life.
- 7:04Speaker 1: I could.
- 7:06Speaker 3: It is the most creative thing I have ever seen. Yes,
- 7:10Speaker 3: as someone who you know tries to be creative and
- 7:13Speaker 3: use that part of my brain every single day for
- 7:17Speaker 3: four hours or ever. This is the most creatively, intelligent, fun,
- 7:23Speaker 3: entertaining thing I have ever seen in my entire life.
- 7:27Speaker 3: And it's just in time for the ten year reunion
- 7:29Speaker 3: of the original cast to be back. I never in
- 7:33Speaker 3: my life thought I would say this about a musical,
- 7:36Speaker 3: not once.
- 7:37Speaker 1: And it's not really even like a musical, but it is. Yeah,
- 7:40Speaker 1: but it is so cool, Gabe. It is the coolest
- 7:44Speaker 1: same you were seeing. If you could see Gabe right now,
- 7:48Speaker 1: the gusto.
- 7:49Speaker 2: With which this man is describing his love for Hamilton,
- 7:53Speaker 2: I've never seen you use so many hand gestures in
- 7:56Speaker 2: your life.
- 7:57Speaker 3: But it's just like, I love history, I love creative people,
- 8:03Speaker 3: and it is it's like discovering air.
- 8:08Speaker 1: I love this thing. Welcome to the club game. Well
- 8:13Speaker 1: it'll probably be a one and done. We'll see.
- 8:18Speaker 2: I'm convinced the FM area is lying to meet Gabe.
- 8:23Speaker 2: I posted on the Big ninety eight point seven page
- 8:26Speaker 2: Facebook page that I was finally unpacking my suitcase after
- 8:30Speaker 2: having gone on vacation two weeks ago. I'm aware that
- 8:34Speaker 2: two weeks is a long time to wait. Yeah, that's
- 8:37Speaker 2: like an outlier for that's. Yeah, usually it's like a week. Okay,
- 8:42Speaker 2: that's my norm.
- 8:43Speaker 1: Be honest with this, Angie.
- 8:44Speaker 3: It's usually like you never find those clothes against you
- 8:48Speaker 3: never see them.
- 8:49Speaker 2: Well, but I posted about it, and I asked. I
- 8:51Speaker 2: was like, when do you guys?
- 8:52Speaker 1: Because I wanted to not feel alone?
- 8:54Speaker 2: Right, but it has misery, that's right, that's that saying, yes,
- 8:59Speaker 2: miserable company.
- 9:01Speaker 1: But you know what turns out, I'm just a disaster.
- 9:05Speaker 2: Most people said that they unpack right away, Judy, I
- 9:11Speaker 2: do it right away when I get home, put everything
- 9:13Speaker 2: back in its place. I said it like that because
- 9:16Speaker 2: I think she was so offended at how long I waited.
- 9:18Speaker 2: She did that in all caps. She did that in
- 9:21Speaker 2: all caps, like how.
- 9:23Speaker 1: Dare you wait that long? Judy is yelling at Yes, then.
- 9:27Speaker 2: Wendy same day can't stand to see it sitting there
- 9:30Speaker 2: and cluttering the space. Listen, I get that, but I
- 9:33Speaker 2: still just don't unpack, try to unpack the same day.
- 9:37Speaker 2: I'm immediately, same day, same day, always the same day.
- 9:41Speaker 2: I get home the same day, ten minutes or so.
- 9:44Speaker 2: Like all these people saying they unpack right away, and
- 9:46Speaker 2: I just feel so not seen.
- 9:49Speaker 1: I feel judged.
- 9:50Speaker 2: Do you unpack right away, Gabe.
- 9:55Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm like within thirty minutes kind of guy. I
- 9:59Speaker 3: lave in, yeah, get home and like I might have
- 10:02Speaker 3: to like I don't know, like pee yeah, or I
- 10:06Speaker 3: might try to eat a snack or something because I'm hungry,
- 10:09Speaker 3: and then you unpack, yeah, generally, And by unpack, it's
- 10:14Speaker 3: literally I just throw the stuff in the washer or
- 10:16Speaker 3: the hamper because I've used.
- 10:17Speaker 1: That was the other thing? Is that a lot of it? Well,
- 10:20Speaker 1: I have to put in the wash. I have to
- 10:22Speaker 1: put it all in the wash. There's a lot of
- 10:23Speaker 1: people lying on our Facebook paper. It has to be
- 10:26Speaker 1: a lie, right, I'm not.
- 10:28Speaker 3: Saying people don't do it, yeah, because I always do
- 10:31Speaker 3: it within like a day, always, always.
- 10:33Speaker 1: It can't be that many. The second you.
- 10:36Speaker 3: Get home there are a lot of people lying. You
- 10:39Speaker 3: sit down, you dec compress from your travels. You don't
- 10:43Speaker 3: walk in the door straight to your closet, throwing clothes away.
- 10:46Speaker 2: I knowing that way, I feel like that would make
- 10:48Speaker 2: you a sociopath. No, I will say though, my girls,
- 10:52Speaker 2: Jessica and Danielle, they had my back.
- 10:55Speaker 1: Yes, Jessica said, I'm.
- 10:56Speaker 2: With you, Angie at least a week. Okay, we need
- 10:58Speaker 2: to get together for a brunch. And then Danielle said,
- 11:02Speaker 2: I generally don't unpack. I just use what's in there
- 11:06Speaker 2: and slowly empty it.
- 11:07Speaker 1: I don't hate that. I love that energy.
- 11:09Speaker 2: So you know what, Danielle and Jessica, let's go to brunch.
- 11:13Speaker 3: Seven oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven.
- 11:16Speaker 3: How long does it take you to unpack from a
- 11:19Speaker 3: trip or a vacation or a weekend away?
- 11:22Speaker 1: Me? Thirty minutes.
- 11:23Speaker 3: Angie has still not unpacked since her move job. We
- 11:32Speaker 3: have got something very cool going on with the big
- 11:35Speaker 3: ninety eight point seven Facebook page and beyond realty.
- 11:40Speaker 1: Yes, it's clear the cart. Here's the thing.
- 11:42Speaker 2: School is starting like I don't know tomorrow. Mikey is
- 11:45Speaker 2: uh he picked up a subbing job and it's on
- 11:48Speaker 2: the twenty first, So like.
- 11:50Speaker 1: Anyol is here.
- 11:51Speaker 3: If you don't know who or what that is, that
- 11:53Speaker 3: is Angie's boyfriend. Oh that's right is a teacher.
- 11:55Speaker 1: He's a teacher. Here's the thing.
- 11:57Speaker 2: We love teachers, and we know that said up your
- 12:00Speaker 2: classroom for success.
- 12:02Speaker 1: It can be expensive.
- 12:03Speaker 2: A lot of times teachers have to shell out the
- 12:05Speaker 2: money from their own pockets because that just is how
- 12:07Speaker 2: it be. There aren't always the resources.
- 12:10Speaker 1: So clear the.
- 12:11Speaker 2: Cart presented by Beyond Realty very simple on the big
- 12:14Speaker 2: ninety eight point seven Facebook page posted to the top.
- 12:17Speaker 2: Pin to the top is the clear the Cart post teachers,
- 12:21Speaker 2: And already we've had over one hundred comments from teachers.
- 12:25Speaker 1: Look at that, teachers.
- 12:27Speaker 2: You drop the link for your Amazon wish list for
- 12:30Speaker 2: your classrooms, and then everyone else pick a list and
- 12:34Speaker 2: help clear the carts.
- 12:36Speaker 1: It's really simple.
- 12:37Speaker 2: The thing with Facebook is Facebook just be making up
- 12:41Speaker 2: rules sometimes, right, So the links don't show up as
- 12:44Speaker 2: like clickable links.
- 12:46Speaker 1: Yeah, they're not like blue.
- 12:48Speaker 2: Right, And so you might be thinking, well, how am
- 12:49Speaker 2: I supposed to do this? Then all you gotta do
- 12:52Speaker 2: is copy and then paste the link into your browser. Boom,
- 12:55Speaker 2: it'll take you right to the Amazon wish list.
- 12:58Speaker 1: Yep.
- 12:58Speaker 2: And let's just help these teachers clear the carts, because
- 13:01Speaker 2: at the end of the day, it's about making sure
- 13:03Speaker 2: that kids are set up for success and have the
- 13:05Speaker 2: most optimal, optimal learning environment, and this is the way
- 13:09Speaker 2: to do it.
- 13:10Speaker 1: That's right.
- 13:10Speaker 3: And Angie and I have both pledged that we are
- 13:14Speaker 3: going to randomly pick two teachers and you and I
- 13:19Speaker 3: will both contribute our very own money, yes, to help.
- 13:22Speaker 1: Clear the car clear the cart for to maybe four.
- 13:25Speaker 3: We'll see what happens, but we pledge to at least
- 13:28Speaker 3: use our own money to help out two teachers at
- 13:31Speaker 3: random with the.
- 13:34Speaker 1: Facebook post.
- 13:34Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly so, and every little bit counts, okay, And
- 13:37Speaker 2: no one's expecting you to clear an entire car.
- 13:41Speaker 1: If you can't, like, that's okay.
- 13:43Speaker 2: You pick whatever items you can afford and help clear
- 13:47Speaker 2: the cart.
- 13:47Speaker 3: And it's kind of crazy when you go through a
- 13:49Speaker 3: lot of these items, like a lot of these things
- 13:51Speaker 3: are like affordable for you to potentially help out. You know,
- 13:54Speaker 3: it's erasers, it's glue, it's notebooks, it may be some backpacks,
- 13:58Speaker 3: it might be snacks or whatever. You're probably not going
- 14:01Speaker 3: to run into a five hundred dollars item or something,
- 14:05Speaker 3: so whatever you can contribute, that's all we're asking and
- 14:08Speaker 3: once again, clear the cart. Brought to you by Beyond
- 14:11Speaker 3: Reality realty. There is over one hundred comments. That's a
- 14:14Speaker 3: lot of teachers hoping for some help. So if you
- 14:17Speaker 3: can do it, they would appreciate it, We would appreciate it,
- 14:20Speaker 3: and it would just make the whole world a better place.
- 14:22Speaker 3: That's right, is such a great question. And I want
- 14:28Speaker 3: to know what you think about this seven oh one
- 14:30Speaker 3: two eight zero one nine eight seven. After you hear this,
- 14:34Speaker 3: let us know what you think here this morning.
- 14:37Speaker 4: I think people should have to take a driving test
- 14:39Speaker 4: at least every ten years in order to keep their licenses.
- 14:42Speaker 4: It's just getting ridiculous out there. Nobody knows what they're
- 14:46Speaker 4: doing on the road.
- 14:47Speaker 2: So this actually reminds me more of a sorry not sorry.
- 14:50Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 14:51Speaker 1: Maybe two things about this.
- 14:53Speaker 3: Number One, I love that William called and we could
- 14:56Speaker 3: play that audio for you or whatever. But I love
- 14:58Speaker 3: that in my head I picture or someone had completely
- 15:01Speaker 3: just caught him off in traffic. He pulled over to
- 15:03Speaker 3: the nearest parking lot and called U at yeah, I
- 15:05Speaker 3: don't want to zero one nine eight seven.
- 15:08Speaker 1: What do you think about that?
- 15:09Speaker 3: Taking a driver's test or redoing it or whatever every
- 15:13Speaker 3: ten years.
- 15:14Speaker 2: I would be cooked, fam As the kids say, I
- 15:17Speaker 2: am not a great driver, but not knowing how much
- 15:21Speaker 2: that is.
- 15:22Speaker 1: Though.
- 15:22Speaker 2: Here's the thing is, I'm when someone is in the
- 15:25Speaker 2: car with me, I get really nervous, like they're judging
- 15:29Speaker 2: my driving or something, and so I feel like, if
- 15:32Speaker 2: not my kids, I don't care what they think in.
- 15:34Speaker 1: Terms of my driving.
- 15:35Speaker 2: But if you were like in my car in the
- 15:37Speaker 2: passenger seat, Gabe, I would be a worst driver because
- 15:41Speaker 2: I just I get nervous, I tense up, and I
- 15:43Speaker 2: feel like my response times aren't what they should be
- 15:45Speaker 2: and like I'm two in.
- 15:46Speaker 1: My head about it.
- 15:47Speaker 2: And so when you take a driver's test, the person
- 15:51Speaker 2: is in the car next to you, I don't think
- 15:54Speaker 2: how I drive with a person in the passenger seat
- 15:57Speaker 2: is a good representation of how I drive normally. So
- 16:01Speaker 2: I would probably not pass this test, even though I
- 16:04Speaker 2: fully feel like I am allowed and should be on
- 16:08Speaker 2: the road. It took me game six times to pass
- 16:11Speaker 2: my driving test, and if I had to take it again,
- 16:15Speaker 2: I don't think.
- 16:15Speaker 1: I could do it. Hold the phone here, what how
- 16:20Speaker 1: many times? Shicks? I passed it on the sixth time.
- 16:24Speaker 3: You, I know, what were we doing the first three
- 16:28Speaker 3: attempts at We didn't learn a lot of.
- 16:30Speaker 1: Weird things happened.
- 16:33Speaker 2: There was one time where I drove the wrong way
- 16:37Speaker 2: on a one way street. Okay, Then another time I
- 16:40Speaker 2: sped in a school zone. Another time I did not
- 16:44Speaker 2: a lot, but enough that you know, you fail automatically
- 16:47Speaker 2: if you speed in a school zone.
- 16:49Speaker 1: Another time I made a.
- 16:50Speaker 2: Left hand turn where she didn't think I yielded long
- 16:53Speaker 2: enough or whatever. And then the time right before the
- 16:57Speaker 2: time that I actually got my license, as soon as
- 17:00Speaker 2: I was pulling out of the parking spot, I hit.
- 17:02Speaker 1: The car next to me.
- 17:07Speaker 2: I had to pull right back in you know what,
- 17:09Speaker 2: and then I had to get the guys insurance information
- 17:12Speaker 2: and whatever.
- 17:13Speaker 3: You know what, I lied. I have a brand new
- 17:15Speaker 3: opinion after this. I think that if you failed your
- 17:18Speaker 3: driver's test six times, you should have to retake the
- 17:21Speaker 3: test every ten years.
- 17:22Speaker 1: Well, I failed it five, I got it on the six.
- 17:33Speaker 2: It's time for am I the Problem, where you send
- 17:36Speaker 2: us your side of the story and we help you
- 17:38Speaker 2: figure out if you're in the right or if maybe,
- 17:40Speaker 2: just maybe you're the problem. By the way, if you
- 17:42Speaker 2: ever want to submit an am I the Problem, you
- 17:46Speaker 2: can head to Big nine eight seven dot com, click
- 17:49Speaker 2: the on air tab, and right there you can submit
- 17:51Speaker 2: your side of the story. Today we have Arianna who
- 17:55Speaker 2: wrote in and let's dive in.
- 17:58Speaker 1: Yeah cool Nate, ariana great name. Oh yeah, I love
- 18:01Speaker 1: that name. Gab an Angie.
- 18:03Speaker 2: My mom is so mad at me, and I need
- 18:05Speaker 2: to know if I'm the problem. My mom has been
- 18:08Speaker 2: dying to give my one year old daughter a haircut,
- 18:11Speaker 2: and I told her, in no uncertain terms that I
- 18:14Speaker 2: want to be the one to give my daughter her
- 18:16Speaker 2: first haircut. That's a special milestone I want to have
- 18:19Speaker 2: with my girl. So my mom said that she just
- 18:22Speaker 2: wants to be invited whenever I do it, and I said,
- 18:25Speaker 2: of course, Well, my mom watches my daughter while I
- 18:29Speaker 2: go to work. And two days ago I got home
- 18:31Speaker 2: to find she had cut my baby's bangs and it
- 18:36Speaker 2: was a hack job at that. My daughter is a cutie,
- 18:41Speaker 2: but these bangs look bad. I lost my mind and
- 18:46Speaker 2: screamed at her because I expressly told her not to
- 18:50Speaker 2: cut her hair.
- 18:51Speaker 1: She said she.
- 18:52Speaker 2: Did it because her hair kept getting in her face
- 18:54Speaker 2: and it doesn't count as a first haircut because it
- 18:57Speaker 2: wasn't her whole head, which is why she didn't think
- 19:00Speaker 2: I'd be upset and didn't ask permission. I think she
- 19:05Speaker 2: knew I'd be mad, but thought she could skate on
- 19:07Speaker 2: a technicality. Now she's mad at me because I'm being
- 19:12Speaker 2: quote unquote disrespectful by being mad at her? Am I
- 19:16Speaker 2: the problem? Or was my mom totally out of line?
- 19:19Speaker 4: All?
- 19:19Speaker 1: Right? First and foremost, this mom stinks? Are you kidding me?
- 19:24Speaker 3: There is no shot that grandma doesn't listen to actual
- 19:30Speaker 3: mom of the baby. First and foremost, this lady stinks.
- 19:35Speaker 3: You have the audacity after your daughter specifically said could
- 19:40Speaker 3: you not? And then it's like that conversation never existed?
- 19:45Speaker 1: Yeah, grow up, ma.
- 19:47Speaker 3: But also I do gotta say this, We gotta stop
- 19:50Speaker 3: putting these milestones as these big giant things. I mean,
- 19:54Speaker 3: who cares about hers haircuts? Who cares you know, about
- 19:59Speaker 3: the first steps? You'll see them at something? No, I'm
- 20:02Speaker 3: just kidding, but I'm just like, who cares about a haircut?
- 20:05Speaker 4: Right?
- 20:06Speaker 1: I kid?
- 20:07Speaker 3: My mom is one hundred wrong? But also like this
- 20:11Speaker 3: whole first haircut first whatever, Baby books don't really exist anymore.
- 20:15Speaker 3: They're on the internet, okay, no one's getting photos and
- 20:19Speaker 3: printing them off and putting them in the baby.
- 20:21Speaker 1: I have baby books for both of my.
- 20:24Speaker 3: Three pages now and then they get lazy and it's
- 20:26Speaker 3: over and they resort to Instagram and Facebook.
- 20:29Speaker 1: Okay, wait, maybe you're not wrong. Thank you.
- 20:31Speaker 2: My first kid has Aiden has almost a completely feeled out. Okay,
- 20:37Speaker 2: I still have Liam's first haircut hair in the block bag.
- 20:41Speaker 1: See that's crazy, but that's like the first milestone. It's
- 20:44Speaker 1: not a milestone. Haircut isn't a milestone? Yes, that is
- 20:48Speaker 1: not a lifetime achievement. Okay, what this mother is insane?
- 20:52Speaker 1: There's no shot.
- 20:53Speaker 3: Your daughter said don't cut her hair with a don't
- 20:56Speaker 3: cut her hair period, and then you went and did it.
- 20:58Speaker 1: And it's likely the bangs.
- 21:01Speaker 2: There's no way this lady's in adult You think that
- 21:04Speaker 2: the technicality doesn't count.
- 21:06Speaker 1: No, she's crazy. Okay, well we stinks. We are in agreement, Gave.
- 21:11Speaker 2: I think it is crazy work for her mom to
- 21:14Speaker 2: be like, well, it doesn't count because it was just
- 21:16Speaker 2: the bangs.
- 21:17Speaker 1: But are we wrong?
- 21:18Speaker 2: We want your take? Seven oh one, two, eight oh
- 21:20Speaker 2: one nine eight seven. Is Ariana the problem for getting
- 21:24Speaker 2: mad at her mom for cutting her daughter's bangs? Or
- 21:27Speaker 2: is Ariana's mom the problem because girl, she said don't
- 21:31Speaker 2: cut her hair and she did it.
- 21:33Speaker 3: Anyway, Today's variety big ninety eight points seven.
- 21:40Speaker 1: Who's this?
- 21:41Speaker 4: This is crystalser morning. That conversation got me heated. The
- 21:45Speaker 4: mom has no right to touch the kid's hair.
- 21:48Speaker 3: And if you have no idea what we're talking about,
- 21:50Speaker 3: we have an awesome am I the problem today?
- 21:52Speaker 2: Arianna is fighting with her mom because she wanted to
- 21:56Speaker 2: be the one to give her daughter her first haircut
- 21:59Speaker 2: her day. And one day she got home from work
- 22:02Speaker 2: and turns out her mom had cut her daughter's hair.
- 22:05Speaker 1: She cut her some.
- 22:06Speaker 2: Bangs and they did not look good, which is something
- 22:10Speaker 2: Ariana made sure to let us know that it was
- 22:12Speaker 2: a hack job. But she was mad because she told
- 22:16Speaker 2: her mom, don't cut her hair. Her mom is saying
- 22:18Speaker 2: that doesn't count as the first haircut because it was
- 22:21Speaker 2: only the bangs and not her whole head.
- 22:23Speaker 1: So is Ariana the.
- 22:25Speaker 2: Problem for being mad at her mom or is her
- 22:28Speaker 2: mom the problem for cutting the daughter's hair.
- 22:30Speaker 3: Her mom cut the hair the bangs. Yeah, she's right
- 22:33Speaker 3: handed using a left handed scissors. Okay, it turned out
- 22:36Speaker 3: to be just fighting a lawnmower. Now I am on
- 22:40Speaker 3: the stance of I think we make too big a
- 22:43Speaker 3: deal out of like first haircut. But mom is wildly
- 22:48Speaker 3: out of line. Okay, yeah, there's no way you're not
- 22:52Speaker 3: cutting that hair kind of going.
- 22:54Speaker 1: I really shouldn't be doing this. There's no chance, right.
- 22:56Speaker 2: Caitlin on Facebook said mom is totally out of line. Grandparents,
- 23:00Speaker 2: caregivers don't ever get to make those kinds of decisions
- 23:03Speaker 2: without permission. First Casey said mom was way out of
- 23:07Speaker 2: line on this one. I would be upset too if
- 23:09Speaker 2: someone took away that milestone with my daughter. My mom
- 23:13Speaker 2: texted me, your mother, Yes, my mom texted me.
- 23:18Speaker 1: First of all, I.
- 23:19Speaker 2: Never know when she's gonna listen. Okay, well what a treat.
- 23:21Speaker 2: But my mom texted me and said, leave the grandma alone.
- 23:25Speaker 1: Really, Yeah, okay, Mom.
- 23:28Speaker 2: I think that's because my mom knows that she has
- 23:31Speaker 2: done something sure in our life with our kids where
- 23:34Speaker 2: they were the worst thing in the world, but we
- 23:36Speaker 2: are like, you've overstepped. Yeah, my mom, I think thanks.
- 23:39Speaker 2: Grandparents are cool, Yeah, that they could do no wrong.
- 23:44Speaker 3: Yeah, I just even if Okay, here's another scenario. Right,
- 23:48Speaker 3: Let's say the mother, not grandma. Mother didn't make a
- 23:54Speaker 3: big deal out of this milestone, she really didn't care whatever. Yeah,
- 23:58Speaker 3: that still does not give you the right to cut
- 24:00Speaker 3: this kid's hair without their mom or dad around. That
- 24:04Speaker 3: is crazy that you think I'll just cut this. And
- 24:07Speaker 3: the daughter made a big deal about it to not
- 24:09Speaker 3: do it. How could she put how could she even
- 24:12Speaker 3: think that was cool?
- 24:13Speaker 2: I think that at the end of the day, Ariana,
- 24:16Speaker 2: your mom's not going to give you an apology, right,
- 24:19Speaker 2: that's for sure. But try and just move past it.
- 24:22Speaker 2: Life's too short. You never know how long grandma is
- 24:24Speaker 2: going to be around to do other annoying things to
- 24:27Speaker 2: your kid.
- 24:30Speaker 3: There was a point in time last week where we
- 24:34Speaker 3: had like fifty three mile proper winds.
- 24:37Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, Friday morning, I think so.
- 24:41Speaker 3: Well, there was this post about someone in Horace who
- 24:46Speaker 3: they woke up and they didn't realize they had got
- 24:49Speaker 3: a trampoline. This trampoline had blown from somehouse on sixty
- 24:54Speaker 3: third South to like eighty something.
- 24:58Speaker 2: That is a long way to travel.
- 25:00Speaker 3: I need to know did this person ever get their
- 25:03Speaker 3: trampoline back? Somebody knows who this is seven oh one
- 25:07Speaker 3: two eight zero one nine eight seven. Either A you
- 25:10Speaker 3: know the person who lost their trampoline, yeah, B the
- 25:14Speaker 3: trampoline was in your yard, or see, your trampoline was
- 25:19Speaker 3: just gone. One morning right, I need to know what
- 25:21Speaker 3: happened to this trampoline, because I mean, I have so
- 25:24Speaker 3: many questions. You know how guys don't ever ask for details. Yes,
- 25:27Speaker 3: here is a time I will be asking for details.
- 25:30Speaker 3: When you woke up and looked out the window and
- 25:32Speaker 3: didn't see this big, giant, jumpy thing in your backyard,
- 25:37Speaker 3: what was your initial reaction, like, Oh, someone stole it?
- 25:40Speaker 3: Oh the wind, because I would never think the wind
- 25:43Speaker 3: could just take a trampoline.
- 25:45Speaker 2: I know that fit well, they were strong winds. Also,
- 25:48Speaker 2: doesn't this sound like it would be such a cute
- 25:50Speaker 2: like Pixar short movie. That'd be great, like the Trampoline's Travels.
- 25:55Speaker 3: The Traveling the Traveling tramp Yeah, we're you're not talking
- 26:00Speaker 3: about me on a road trip seven one two eight
- 26:05Speaker 3: zero one nine eight seven. That is the new mission
- 26:07Speaker 3: of myself. And Angie is along for the ride if
- 26:10Speaker 3: she wants to be What happened to this trampoline? Did
- 26:14Speaker 3: it get returned home?
- 26:15Speaker 4: All right?
- 26:15Speaker 1: Let us know at Big ninety eight point seven here.
- 26:24Speaker 3: At this year's Iowa State Fair. Really cool thing happening
- 26:29Speaker 3: here in the Midwest. At this year's Iowa State Fair.
- 26:33Speaker 3: They're featuring Galaxy Groove and you might be thinking, oh,
- 26:38Speaker 3: is that a boy band?
- 26:39Speaker 1: Oh?
- 26:40Speaker 2: Is that like a Star Wars themed boy band?
- 26:43Speaker 1: Is what I think? Yeah? Or is that some type
- 26:46Speaker 1: of roller coaster? Is that a ride?
- 26:48Speaker 4: Oh? Yeah?
- 26:48Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 26:49Speaker 3: The Galaxy Groove is a special American pale ale with
- 26:53Speaker 3: tropical notes created by brewer Jeremy Brown, whose recipe won
- 26:57Speaker 3: the Boston Beer Company Homebrew con petition. So you know,
- 27:01Speaker 3: kind of cool there's a beer there right, Well, this
- 27:03Speaker 3: has served exclusively at uh OR through Sam Adams and
- 27:08Speaker 3: what they are doing with the Iowa state there. The
- 27:10Speaker 3: beer is being sold to raise funds for programs that
- 27:14Speaker 3: support visually impaired children. Oh nice, Brown, who has visually
- 27:20Speaker 3: impaired himself, collaborated with a bar owner named Jenny, a
- 27:24Speaker 3: longtime friend to use the opportunity opportunity to give back.
- 27:28Speaker 3: Fair Goers can also collect one of ten astronaut themed
- 27:33Speaker 3: rubber ducks while enjoying the beer, with the proceeds from
- 27:36Speaker 3: all eighty kegs benefiting the cause for visually impaired children.
- 27:41Speaker 1: How cool is that? A fair? Drinking and giving back?
- 27:46Speaker 3: You can you know, get drunk and go to heaven.
- 27:49Speaker 3: Basically is how I see that the world is full
- 27:52Speaker 3: of nice people. If you can find one, you gotta
- 27:56Speaker 3: be one.
