Speaker 1: and right there you'll see this podcast and you listen
• 0:30
Speaker 1: to each and every episode. Senator, We've got a lot
• 0:33
Speaker 1: to talk about on the show, including a lot of
• 0:38
Speaker 1: conversation this week about the Save Act in Washington, d C.
• 0:42
Speaker 1: And it even was involved in the partial government shutdown
• 0:44
  Speaker 1: as well.
• 0:46
Speaker 2: Well. We're going to talk about the Save Act and
• 0:48
Speaker 2: what we can do in the Senate to get this
• 0:50
Speaker 2: pass to require that only American citizens can register to vote,
• 0:54
Speaker 2: to require photo ID to vote, and what it's going
• 0:58
Speaker 2: to take to break down the Democrats and and force
• 1:02
Speaker 2: this vote on the Senate floor. We're also going to
• 1:04
Speaker 2: talk about a hearing that I chaired this week on
• 1:07
Speaker 2: the Somali fraud in Minnesota. It is massive, and I'll
• 1:11
Speaker 2: tell you at the hearing, the Democrats wanted to talk
• 1:14
Speaker 2: about absolutely anything else other than this massive fraud. We
• 1:18
Speaker 2: came with the receipts. We're going to walk you through it.
• 1:21
Speaker 2: And then this past week was really significant and that
• 1:25
Speaker 2: the American Medical Association reversed its position and they now
• 1:31
Speaker 2: oppose sex change surgeries for children. That is a major shift.
• 1:38
Speaker 2: It is in significant part a result of the two
• 1:41
Speaker 2: million dollar de Transitioner lawsuit. We're going to break down
• 1:45
Speaker 2: what a sea change this is that the medical associations
• 1:49
Speaker 2: that that we're pushing this propaganda have reversed course.
• 1:52
Speaker 1: Now, yeah, it really is incredible and it's gonna, I
• 1:55
Speaker 1: honestly think, save a lot of kids' lives, and I
• 1:57
Speaker 1: mean that sincerely, especially when you deal with the suicide
• 2:00
Speaker 1: rates that are all connected to all that issue. We're
• 2:03
Speaker 1: going to talk about that coming up as well. Let
• 2:05
Speaker 1: me also tell you about an amazing organization called Compassion International.
• 2:09
Speaker 1: I want you to just pause what you're doing for
• 2:11
Speaker 1: the next sixty seconds and I want you to imagine Lucy,
• 2:15
Speaker 1: a seven year old. Her stomach often aches with hunger,
• 2:18
Speaker 1: her small hands instead of holding crayons, No, only the
• 2:22
Speaker 1: struggle of survival on dusty streets. School is a distant dream,
• 2:27
Speaker 1: medical care forgotten hope. Lucy's potential is overshadowed, her future
• 2:33
Speaker 1: is dim. But what if someone stepped in? What if
• 2:35
Speaker 1: there was a way to ignite hope for children just
• 2:38
Speaker 1: like Lucy? Well there is, and that is with Compassion
• 2:42
Speaker 1: International Partners and the local churches that provide children holistic
• 2:47
Speaker 1: support more than just food. They receive critical medical care,
• 2:51
Speaker 1: life changing education, vital skills training, and spiritual development, all
• 2:57
Speaker 1: in Jesus's name, and you can empower it out, just
• 3:00
Speaker 1: like Lucy, to break free from poverty. I want you
• 3:04
Speaker 1: to do what I've done and sponsor a child today.
• 3:07
Speaker 1: You can visit Compassion dot com. That's Compassion dot com,
• 3:13
Speaker 1: all right, Senator, So let's talk about the Save Act.
• 3:16
Speaker 1: It was brought up and it was a part of
• 3:18
Speaker 1: the discussion of the debate even with a partial government
• 3:21
Speaker 1: shut down. There are a lot of conservatives that I've
• 3:24
Speaker 1: talked to this past week. They don't understand why this
• 3:26
Speaker 1: hasn't happened already, It's already come out of the House before.
• 3:31
Speaker 1: And the big question is why can't we just pass
• 3:33
Speaker 1: it right now? I think there's a lot of misinformation
• 3:36
Speaker 1: on this and it's not a fifty plus one vote
• 3:39
Speaker 1: to get this done. It is sixty votes. You need
• 3:42
Speaker 1: to get this done. And if you want to know
• 3:44
Speaker 1: who to blame, look at the Democratic Party. They have
• 3:46
Speaker 1: dug in. Chuck Schumer has made it very clear, and
• 3:49
Speaker 1: there isn't a single Democrat that had his blessing to
• 3:51
Speaker 1: vote in favor of this thing. He's calling it Jim
• 3:54
Speaker 1: Crow two point zero.
• 3:56
Speaker 2: Well, the Save Act, which was initially introduced in the
• 3:59
Speaker 2: House of Represented it was by Chip Roy, my former
• 4:01
Speaker 2: chief of staff. Save Act requires proof of American citizenship
• 4:07
Speaker 2: to register to vote. Its common sense legislation. And then
• 4:11
Speaker 2: actually President Trump has changed it. And President Trump did
• 4:14
Speaker 2: two changes. Number one, he wanted to change the name
• 4:17
Speaker 2: from the Save Act to the Save America Act, so
• 4:20
Speaker 2: now the President is calling it the Save America Act.
• 4:23
Speaker 2: Number two, he wanted to add to it not just
• 4:25
Speaker 2: proof of citizenship to register to vote, but also a
• 4:29
Speaker 2: requirement of photo ID to vote. We've done that. I
• 4:33
Speaker 2: am a sponsor of the Save America Act. I think
• 4:36
Speaker 2: it makes absolute sense. But the challenge is is that
• 4:40
Speaker 2: the Democrats are dug in and are rapidly opposing it.
• 4:45
Speaker 2: And under the Senate rules, it takes sixty votes to
• 4:49
Speaker 2: move forward, and right now we can anticipate every Senate
• 4:52
Speaker 2: Democrat voting no. Now we're going to break down where
• 4:57
Speaker 2: public opinion is on this, and then I'm going to
• 4:59
Speaker 2: tell you this strategy that I'm urging John Thune in
• 5:03
Speaker 2: Republican leadership to do to get this done in the Senate.
• 5:06
Speaker 2: But first of all, let's just cover where the polling is.
• 5:10
Speaker 2: I want you to give a listen to actually something
• 5:12
Speaker 2: pretty remarkable. I want you to listen to Chuck Schumer
• 5:16
Speaker 2: actually on Morning Joe So on MSNBC being questioned about
• 5:24
Speaker 2: just how much support there is for the Save America Act.
• 5:27
Speaker 3: So, Leader Schumer, this talk about election security has revived
• 5:30
Speaker 3: discussions of the Save Act, which you have said you oppose.
• 5:35
Speaker 3: Proponents of it say that it's you know, to have idea,
• 5:38
Speaker 3: have to prove you has citizenship to be able to vote.
• 5:40
Speaker 3: If some of the claims they make, to be clear
• 5:42
Speaker 3: are overstated. We know there's not widespread election fraud but
• 5:47
Speaker 3: polling does suggest. There's a new Pew Research poll that
• 5:50
Speaker 3: ninety five percent of Republicans but also seventy one percent
• 5:53
Speaker 3: of Democrats like this idea.
• 5:56
Speaker 2: So why do you not?
• 5:58
Speaker 4: It's Jim Crow to point and I called it Jim
• 6:01
Speaker 4: Crow two point zero, and the right wing went nuts
• 6:04
Speaker 4: all over the internet. That's because they know it's true.
• 6:07
Speaker 4: What they're trying to do here is the same thing
• 6:10
Speaker 4: that was done in the South for decades to prevent
• 6:12
Speaker 4: people of color from voting. For instance, if you can't
• 6:16
Speaker 4: if you change you're a woman who got married and
• 6:19
Speaker 4: changed your last name, you won't be able to show
• 6:21
Speaker 4: ID and you'll be discriminated against. If you can't find
• 6:24
Speaker 4: a birth certificate or a proper ID, you'll be discriminated against.
• 6:28
Speaker 4: This is vicious and nasty, and I said to our
• 6:31
Speaker 4: Republican colleagues, it will not pass the Senate. You will
• 6:34
Speaker 4: not get a single Democratic vote in the Senate. We're
• 6:37
Speaker 4: not reviving Jim Crow all over the country now.
• 6:40
Speaker 1: Senator, Look, I actually believe him. I think it's very
• 6:43
Speaker 1: clear he's shot multiple shots, big ones, across the bow
• 6:47
Speaker 1: of every Democrat in the Senate. You are not going
• 6:49
Speaker 1: to give the Republicans as victory. The part though there
• 6:53
Speaker 1: that he talks about being Jim Crow. He's not listening
• 6:55
Speaker 1: to African Americans this country because more than seventy percent
• 6:59
Speaker 1: in a pole that was put out by CNN that
• 7:02
Speaker 1: they were talking and they were mentioning that same pole
• 7:04
Speaker 1: there and I want to play it. This was CNN's
• 7:07
Speaker 1: own words breaking down the support for voter ID based
• 7:12
Speaker 1: on race. Take a listen to this.
• 7:15
Speaker 5: Take a look here, favorite photo ID to vote. Eighty
• 7:17
Speaker 5: five percent of white people favorite, eighty two percent of Latino,
• 7:20
Speaker 5: seventy six percent of Black Americans favorite. So the bottom
• 7:24
Speaker 5: line is this, voter ID is not controversial in this country.
• 7:28
Speaker 5: A photo ID to vote is not controversial in this country.
• 7:31
Speaker 5: It is not controversial by party, and it is not
• 7:34
Speaker 5: controversial by race. The vast majority of Americans agree with
• 7:37
Speaker 5: Nicki Minaj that, in fact, you should have a photo
• 7:40
Speaker 5: ID to be able to vote.
• 7:41
Speaker 1: So you listen to him and again go back to
• 7:44
Speaker 1: this seventy eight I'm sorry, she's seventy six percent of Blacks,
• 7:48
Speaker 1: eighty two percent of Latino, eighty five percent of white
• 7:51
Speaker 1: and that's coming from CNN.
• 7:52
Speaker 2: Senator, Look, the American people overwhelmingly support photo ID to vote,
• 7:57
Speaker 2: because it's a common sense step. You have to have
• 8:00
Speaker 2: have a photo ID to drive a car, you have
• 8:02
Speaker 2: to have a photo ID. To get her an airplane,
• 8:03
Speaker 2: you have to have a photo ID. To buy a
• 8:06
Speaker 2: beer at a bar, you have to have a photo
• 8:07
Speaker 2: I D. You have to look. They know it. It
• 8:14
Speaker 2: is popular. And by the way, I will say, look
• 8:17
Speaker 2: Schumer using the rhetoric about Jim Crow, there is an
• 8:20
Speaker 2: irony and that it was his party. It was the
• 8:22
Speaker 2: Democrats who enacted the Jim Crow laws. It was his party,
• 8:26
Speaker 2: the Democrats who created the KKK. It was his party,
• 8:30
Speaker 2: the Democrats that that that that kept the system of
• 8:33
Speaker 2: segregation in for decades. He uses this rhetoric because the
• 8:39
Speaker 2: Democrats do not care that Democrats overwhelmingly supported voters. They
• 8:43
Speaker 2: don't care that African Americans in Hispanic support it. They
• 8:46
Speaker 2: have a partisan position. They are for voter fraud.
• 8:50
Speaker 1: The other question I want to ask you is why
• 8:52
Speaker 1: are Democrats so opposed to it if it's not about cheating,
• 8:57
Speaker 1: Because if White's air at eighty five latinos ay two in
• 9:00
Speaker 1: Blacks of seventy six, I'm not sure there's that many
• 9:03
Speaker 1: subjects in America, you could get this type of consensus
• 9:06
Speaker 1: on including Republicans and Democrats as identify as it. Republicans
• 9:10
Speaker 1: and Democrats also overwhelmingly agree this is a good thing.
• 9:13
Speaker 2: Yeah. Look, the American people overwhelmingly support photo ID to vote.
• 9:18
Speaker 2: The Democrats are not opposing this because their base is
• 9:21
Speaker 2: telling them to oppose it. As we talked about, seventy
• 9:24
Speaker 2: one percent of Democrats voters think photo ID to vote
• 9:27
Speaker 2: is a good idea. They're opposing it for two reasons.
• 9:32
Speaker 2: Number one, they're opposing it, I believe because voter fraud
• 9:36
Speaker 2: is a real and persistent problem, and they count on
• 9:38
Speaker 2: voter fraud to help them win elections, and so they
• 9:40
Speaker 2: don't want photo ID because they want cheating. If you
• 9:44
Speaker 2: look at the Democrats when they have control over elections,
• 9:47
Speaker 2: they put in place policies that expand voter fraud. And
• 9:53
Speaker 2: by the way, look look, if you're not inclined to
• 9:56
Speaker 2: believe me, you might say, Okay, Cruz is being a Republican.
• 9:59
Speaker 2: Although if you're not inclined to believe me, I am
• 10:02
Speaker 2: wondering why you're listening to verdict with Ted Cruz. But
• 10:04
Speaker 2: set that aside. If you're not inclined to believe me,
• 10:08
Speaker 2: Maybe you would believe Democrat President Jimmy Carter. Because Democrat
• 10:13
Speaker 2: President Jimmy Carter joined with former Republican Secretary of State
• 10:19
Speaker 2: James Baker. They chaired what was called the Carter Baker
• 10:21
Speaker 2: Commission studying voter fraud. They concluded voter fraud as real,
• 10:25
Speaker 2: it is a problem. It has changed the outcome of elections,
• 10:28
Speaker 2: and they recommended a series of steps to prevent voter fraud.
• 10:32
Speaker 2: They recommended number one limiting the use of mail in
• 10:35
Speaker 2: ballots because mail in ballots make it easier to cheat.
• 10:39
Speaker 2: They recommended number two requiring photo ID to vote because
• 10:43
Speaker 2: that makes it harder to cheat. They recommended number three
• 10:46
Speaker 2: prohibiting ballot harvesting, prohibiting paid political operatives being able to
• 10:50
Speaker 2: collect the ballots of others because that invites voter fraud. Well, Ben,
• 10:56
Speaker 2: do you know what the position is now of Chuck
• 10:58
Speaker 2: Schumer and every congressional Democrat.
• 11:01
Speaker 1: It is to oppose any type of voter ID.
• 11:05
Speaker 2: It's worse than that. They literally went down the recommendations
• 11:08
Speaker 2: of the Carter Baker Commission on how to stop voter fraud,
• 11:11
Speaker 2: and they reversed them all. So the Carter Baker Commission said,
• 11:15
Speaker 2: if you want to stop voter fraud, limit mail in ballots.
• 11:18
Speaker 2: The Democrat want mail in ballots in every election. The
• 11:22
Speaker 2: Carter Baker Commission said, require photo ID. The Democrats are
• 11:25
Speaker 2: adamantly opposed to photo ID and the most pernicious ballot harvesting.
• 11:30
Speaker 2: The Carter Baker Commission said on equivocally ballot harvesting invites
• 11:34
Speaker 2: it encourages voter fraud. What is the position of Democrats.
• 11:38
Speaker 2: They want ballot harvesting. They have made a political decision,
• 11:42
Speaker 2: by the way, they want.
• 11:43
Speaker 1: To explain ballot harvesting to people that don't understand that
• 11:47
Speaker 1: that terminology. It's been used a lot, But what does
• 11:50
  Speaker 1: it mean.
• 11:51
Speaker 2: So let's take a state like California. Ballot harvesting is
• 11:54
Speaker 2: legal in California. What it means is you could have
• 11:56
Speaker 2: a paid political operative. Some new works for the Democrats.
• 11:59
Speaker 2: Go to nursing home. Go to a nursing home and
• 12:03
Speaker 2: fill out the ballots with the elderly people with them,
• 12:06
Speaker 2: and take their ballots. So, okay, mister Jones, who are
• 12:09
Speaker 2: you gonna vote for? Who you're gonna vote for? Let's
• 12:10
Speaker 2: do it together. They take the ballots and you can
• 12:12
Speaker 2: have one operative collecting hundreds of ballots. Why does that
• 12:16
Speaker 2: invite fraud. Well, let's say you're sitting there and mister
• 12:20
Speaker 2: Jones votes for Donald Trump. If you're an unscrupulous operative,
• 12:24
Speaker 2: you know what you do. You take that ballot and
• 12:26
Speaker 2: throw in the trash like nobody checks to see if
• 12:29
Speaker 2: you send them in in.
• 12:30
  Speaker 6: Yeah.
• 12:31
Speaker 2: And by the way, if you have, say in nursing homes,
• 12:33
Speaker 2: people with dementia, people that are not there, if you're
• 12:37
Speaker 2: sitting there filling out their ballot with them, you can
• 12:39
Speaker 2: just vote for the Democrat. And so it sets up
• 12:43
Speaker 2: a way for paid operatives to cheat, and it makes
• 12:47
Speaker 2: it very easy to cheat. The Democrats have made a
• 12:51
Speaker 2: political decision. They are for election fraud. Secondly v Secondly,
• 12:59
Speaker 2: though Chuck Schumer when he says it's Jim Crow two
• 13:03
Speaker 2: point zero, I think they view this issue as a
• 13:06
Speaker 2: way to gin up the extremes in their base and
• 13:09
Speaker 2: to scare people. Look, Jim Crow two point zero would
• 13:12
Speaker 2: be bad. I don't want to see a bunch of
• 13:14
Speaker 2: racist Democrats putting laws in place that hurt minorities like
• 13:17
Speaker 2: they did before. And it's all about scary rhetoric. So
• 13:22
Speaker 2: it's a combination of encouraging fraud and using scary rhetoric.
• 13:27
Speaker 2: Now here's the question, Ben, how do we get this
• 13:29
Speaker 2: done if the Democrats are adamantly going to oppose it.
• 13:33
Speaker 2: I'll tell you what I am urging the other Republican senators.
• 13:36
Speaker 2: What I'm urging our leadership is we should nuke what's
• 13:40
Speaker 2: called the zombie filibuster. What does that mean? So under
• 13:44
Speaker 2: the Senate rules, it takes sixty votes to end debate,
• 13:47
Speaker 2: and it used to be for most of the history
• 13:49
Speaker 2: of the Senate to do a filibuster you had to
• 13:52
Speaker 2: stand up and talk and talk and talk. You remember,
• 13:55
Speaker 2: back in twenty thirteen against Obamacare, I did a twenty
• 13:58
Speaker 2: one hour filibuster and talked for twenty one hours straight.
• 14:02
Speaker 2: That used to be how you had to do it. Now,
• 14:05
Speaker 2: we don't make the Democrats talk and talk and talk
• 14:07
Speaker 2: and fill the airspace. We just let them vote no, no,
• 14:11
Speaker 2: I'm voting to filibuster. And once I say I'm filibustering,
• 14:14
Speaker 2: we're done. We can force them one after the other
• 14:19
Speaker 2: to stand up, to stand up, to keep talking, to
• 14:21
Speaker 2: keep talking and keep talking and make the filibuster really painful.
• 14:25
Speaker 2: Now there's another side of it, though, The Democrats can
• 14:31
Speaker 2: keep challenging whether we have a quorum on the Senate floor.
• 14:35
Speaker 2: What that means is that we've got to be able
• 14:38
Speaker 2: to produce fifty bodies. We've got to have at least
• 14:40
Speaker 2: fifty Republican senators who could show up on the Senate
• 14:43
Speaker 2: floor and demonstrate a quorum. So it is painful for
• 14:46
Speaker 2: both the majority and the minority. And right now it's
• 14:52
Speaker 2: not clear that we have fifty Republicans who support doing this.
• 14:55
Speaker 2: I am making the case this week. I made the
• 14:57
Speaker 2: case vigorously to my Republican college. Mike Lee is making
• 15:01
Speaker 2: the case vigorously to our Republican colleagues. Rick Scott is
• 15:05
Speaker 2: making the case vigorously to our Republican colleagues. But it's
• 15:09
Speaker 2: not clear if we have fifty or not. If we
• 15:11
Speaker 2: don't have fifty, we can't do it. And so I
• 15:15
Speaker 2: think we ought to make it incredibly painful for Democrats
• 15:18
Speaker 2: and do everything we can to try to push them
• 15:22
Speaker 2: to the point of exhaustion, and if they get to
• 15:25
Speaker 2: that point, then we can pass the Save America Act.
• 15:28
Speaker 1: Yeah, by the way, I've been saying this on TV.
• 15:30
Speaker 1: I think it's really important that Republicans explain that we're
• 15:34
Speaker 1: in favor of this, but we have to have ten
• 15:36
Speaker 1: Democrats to get this thing seven seven sorry, excuse seven,
• 15:40
Speaker 1: I should say seven Democrats to get this thing done.
• 15:42
Speaker 1: And without getting those seven to get us to the
• 15:45
Speaker 1: perfect number of sixty.
• 15:47
Speaker 2: And understand, we will get zero. We're not going to
• 15:50
Speaker 2: get seven. We're not going to get one. Every Democrat
• 15:53
Speaker 2: will follow Schumer's orders on this.
• 15:56
Speaker 1: All right, Senata, you did something that was really underreported
• 15:59
Speaker 1: this and it was important, I say, and a reporter
• 16:03
Speaker 1: because there's a partial government shut down. There was a
• 16:05
Speaker 1: Trump coming out with Trump our Ax as well. There
• 16:08
Speaker 1: was a lot going on, but this dealt with Somali
• 16:11
Speaker 1: fraud and we need to take some real time to
• 16:13
Speaker 1: discuss exactly what you helped expose this week of what's
• 16:17
Speaker 1: going on in Minnesota.
• 16:19
Speaker 2: Well, I'm the chairman of the Oversight Subcommittee the Senate
• 16:22
Speaker 2: Judiciary Committee, and I convened to hearing and charity hearing
• 16:25
Speaker 2: this week on the massive fraud that we saw in
• 16:28
Speaker 2: Minnesota with the Somali community and had witnesses including the
• 16:34
Speaker 2: whistleblower who joined with the YouTuber and exposing the fraud.
• 16:39
Speaker 2: And I got to say, as we were going through
• 16:41
Speaker 2: the evidence of the biggest fraud in recorded history that
• 16:47
Speaker 2: was done with the complicity of Democrat officeholders. It was
• 16:51
Speaker 2: amazing Democrat senators wanted to talk about absolutely any other
• 16:55
Speaker 2: topic other than the actual facts of what happened.
• 16:58
  Speaker 4: Here.
• 16:59
Speaker 2: Give a listen to what I had to say the
• 17:00
Speaker 2: hero Federal prosecutors in Minnesota now estimate that half or
• 17:06
Speaker 2: more of the eighteen billion dollars spent since twenty eighteen
• 17:11
Speaker 2: across fourteen Minnesota welfare programs may have been lost to fraud.
• 17:18
Speaker 2: If confirmed, the amount stolen would rank among the largest
• 17:22
Speaker 2: welfare frauds in American history. In Minnesota, a welfare system
• 17:28
Speaker 2: designed to uplift the most vulnerable children was treated like
• 17:32
Speaker 2: an open atm, exploiting both taxpayers and the public trust
• 17:39
Speaker 2: extended to immigrant communities. Over the last decade. Minnesota Democrats
• 17:45
Speaker 2: didn't just fail to stop the fraud, they made it
• 17:48
Speaker 2: easy and profitable, and, in a totally lawless fashion, silenced
• 17:55
Speaker 2: anyone who pointed it out. Taken together, the record show
• 18:00
Speaker 2: that the fraud was not accidental or unforseeable, but was
• 18:04
Speaker 2: the product of deliberate inaction, willful blindness, and calculated abuse.
• 18:12
Speaker 1: At this point I got to ask you this question, center,
• 18:15
Speaker 1: is there any government program in Minnesota that is not
• 18:19
Speaker 1: being abused by the Somali community When they figure out
• 18:22
Speaker 1: a way to defraud it, they just go all in.
• 18:27
Speaker 2: If you look at the numbers the percentages of the
• 18:30
Speaker 2: Somali community in Minnesota that are on welfare, they're staggering. Here,
• 18:36
Speaker 2: give a listen from the hearing. The programs move billions
• 18:42
Speaker 2: of dollars each year, and they're concentrated within a relatively
• 18:45
Speaker 2: small number of administrative pipelines. Soota Somali community receives welfare
• 18:51
Speaker 2: benefits at rates far higher than the state average, making
• 18:55
Speaker 2: these programs both financially significant and politically sensitive. In a
• 19:00
Speaker 2: state where the two closest statewide elections were decided by
• 19:03
Speaker 2: less than one percent, the Somali community votes overwhelmingly Democrat.
• 19:11
Speaker 2: The numbers are stark. Eighty one percent of Somali households
• 19:16
Speaker 2: in Minnesota received some form of welfare eighty one percent
• 19:20
Speaker 2: compared to twenty one percent of non Somali households. Fifty
• 19:25
Speaker 2: four percent of Somali households receive food stamps compared to
• 19:29
Speaker 2: seven percent of non Somali households. Seventy three percent are
• 19:34
Speaker 2: enrolled in medicaid compared to eighteen percent of non Somali households,
• 19:41
Speaker 2: and twenty seven percent received cash assistance compared to six
• 19:46
Speaker 2: percent of non Somali households.
• 19:49
Speaker 1: Bender you hear those numbers are staggering, and I also
• 19:52
Speaker 1: think what's scary is what we're witnessing here is also
• 19:55
Speaker 1: the type of fraud that's now being uncovered in other states,
• 19:57
  Speaker 1: including California.
• 19:59
  Speaker 2: Its shocking.
• 20:00
Speaker 1: Elon Musk was sweating about that earlier before we were
• 20:03
Speaker 1: doing the show, just like he can't even believe and
• 20:06
Speaker 1: he was the doge guy, just how much stealing and
• 20:10
Speaker 1: this is just great stealing from the American people is
• 20:12
Speaker 1: going on in virtually every government program that they can
• 20:15
Speaker 1: get their hands on. It's happening.
• 20:18
Speaker 2: Look and it shows the fundamental corruption of Democrats. Number One,
• 20:23
Speaker 2: they imported vast numbers of illegal immigrants into this country,
• 20:26
Speaker 2: vast number of Somalis into this country. They put almost
• 20:29
Speaker 2: all of them on welfare, so they're paying them. They
• 20:32
Speaker 2: put them on programs that are entirely fraudulent. They're taking
• 20:35
Speaker 2: that money sending it back to Somalia. That money, by
• 20:38
Speaker 2: the way, the Minnesota taxpayers are the number one funder
• 20:42
Speaker 2: of Al Shabab, the terrorist Islamist group in Somalia. It
• 20:48
Speaker 2: is received hundreds of millions of dollars in stolen money
• 20:52
Speaker 2: from the Minnesota taxpayers, and the Democrats are doing this deliberately,
• 20:56
Speaker 2: and I gotta say it was amazing at this hearing.
• 20:59
Speaker 2: The Democrat senators at the hearing did not dispute any
• 21:02
Speaker 2: of what I'm saying. Instead, they just tried to change
• 21:06
Speaker 2: the subject. Give a listen to my response to their
• 21:08
Speaker 2: efforts to change the subject in that enormous word cloud.
• 21:14
Speaker 2: Virtually nothing about nine billion dollars stolen from Minnesota taxpayers
• 21:20
Speaker 2: by Somali fraudsters, with Democrat politicians knowing full well what
• 21:25
Speaker 2: is happening, facilitating it and harvesting votes and campaign dollars
• 21:30
Speaker 2: from the people, robbing the children of Minnesota. My Democrat
• 21:36
Speaker 2: colleagues want you desperately not to focus on those facts,
• 21:40
Speaker 2: and so instead, miraculously, the Democrats have discovered the Sermon
• 21:46
Speaker 2: on the Mount. Well, this hearing is going to focus
• 21:50
Speaker 2: on nine billion dollars stolen from the taxpayers and hundreds
• 21:54
Speaker 2: of millions of those dollars going to the Al Chabab
• 21:58
Speaker 2: terrorist organization fund did by the Democrats.
• 22:03
Speaker 1: You would think there would be some sort of accountability
• 22:05
Speaker 1: there on the point that you just made center and
• 22:09
Speaker 1: that is about money going to terrorist organizations. When when
• 22:12
Speaker 1: you were talking about that, were was there any of
• 22:17
Speaker 1: the Democrats that were actually paying attention? Were they listening
• 22:20
Speaker 1: or just so so because you put up a poster
• 22:23
Speaker 1: and I want to play this review, but it was.
• 22:25
Speaker 1: And if you're watching on YouTube or Facebook, you actually
• 22:27
Speaker 1: get to see this. But you have al Shabab al
• 22:29
Speaker 1: kad is most lethal affiliate, a poster of them on
• 22:33
Speaker 1: a truck as terrorists, and you have it up behind you.
• 22:36
Speaker 1: And I just want to play this very quickly for
• 22:38
Speaker 1: people saying, hear what you said.
• 22:40
Speaker 2: When billions of dollars are stolen from US welfare programs
• 22:43
Speaker 2: and sent abroad, there is no credible way to ensure
• 22:46
Speaker 2: those funds do not enrich jahattist within al Shabab. As
• 22:51
Speaker 2: one confidential source told the Manhattan Institute, the largest funder
• 22:56
Speaker 2: of al Shabab a Islam is this terrorist organization in
• 23:02
Speaker 2: Somalia is the Minnesota taxpayer. Listen to that again. The
• 23:08
Speaker 2: single largest funder of al Shabab, a terrorist organization in
• 23:14
Speaker 2: Somalia is the taxpayers of Minnesota.
• 23:18
Speaker 1: I mean, how are people not going to jail for this?
• 23:22
Speaker 1: And are people going to go to jail? Because at
• 23:24
Speaker 1: this point there are so many concerns tos say I
• 23:27
Speaker 1: want someone arrested if we have our money going to terrorists.
• 23:30
Speaker 1: Are someone gonna go to jail for this? Not some
• 23:33
Speaker 1: like not like a one fall guy. How is this
• 23:36
Speaker 1: not just like the patty wagons backing up and people
• 23:38
Speaker 1: are going to jail.
• 23:39
Speaker 2: We need to prosecute every Democrat politician who was complicit
• 23:44
Speaker 2: in this. By the way, what I laid out about
• 23:46
Speaker 2: the money going to al Shabab, not a single Democrat
• 23:48
Speaker 2: senator disputed it. They didn't say a word about it.
• 23:51
Speaker 2: I want you to listen to the back and forth
• 23:53
Speaker 2: I had with the Democrat witness, the head of Public Citizen,
• 23:57
Speaker 2: that this left wing group who who really didn't want
• 24:01
Speaker 2: to see anyone prosecuted for this fraud. Give a listen,
• 24:06
Speaker 2: mister Weisman, you're co president of Public Citizen, which describes
• 24:11
Speaker 2: itself as a consumer advocate and a pro democracy organization.
• 24:17
Speaker 2: Would you agree that the fraud in Minnesota was staggering
• 24:21
  Speaker 2: and shocking.
• 24:23
Speaker 6: I agree that there is fraud of Minnesota. I don't
• 24:25
Speaker 6: believe these estimates are grounded in any evidence that I've seen.
• 24:28
Speaker 6: The nine billion dollar figure was based on a claim
• 24:30
Speaker 6: just that well, I think that half of them must
• 24:33
Speaker 6: be fraudulent. I just heard a comment just saying boost
• 24:37
Speaker 6: the number up, but could be clearer and with respect,
• 24:42
Speaker 6: you've missed my testimony. No question there's fraud of Minnesota,
• 24:44
Speaker 6: and absolutely I share your righteous anger about whatever degree
• 24:47
Speaker 6: of fraud was there.
• 24:48
Speaker 2: Do you agree that any Democrat politician, or let me
• 24:52
Speaker 2: be clear, any Republican politician that had knowledge of the
• 24:56
Speaker 2: fraud and was complicit should be prosecuted.
• 25:00
Speaker 6: I'm not sure what they're being prosecuted for it. But
• 25:02
Speaker 6: also in my testimony I described also outside of Minnesota,
• 25:07
Speaker 6: the manifold ways that this administration is enabling fraud.
• 25:11
Speaker 2: Look, I understand, and the reason hold on, hold on,
• 25:14
Speaker 2: hold on standard is that you want I'm going to
• 25:17
Speaker 2: ask a question and then you can answer it. Yes, sir,
• 25:20
Speaker 2: your organization describes itself as a pro democracy organization. I'm
• 25:24
Speaker 2: going to try to find out if you actually are
• 25:28
Speaker 2: pro democracy or if you're simply pro Democrat and are
• 25:31
Speaker 2: a partisan. We've seen the Democrats who want to change
• 25:34
Speaker 2: the topic So I get you want to testify how
• 25:37
Speaker 2: much you hate Donald Trump. But I'm quite certain Donald
• 25:41
Speaker 2: Trump was not running a fraudulent daycare center or a
• 25:44
Speaker 2: fraudulent autism center in Minnesota. So all of the talking
• 25:49
Speaker 2: points about how you dislike Trump, set them aside. We
• 25:52
Speaker 2: will see the Democrats on this committee go down those
• 25:54
Speaker 2: talking points. Do you believe elected politicians in Minnesota who
• 26:01
Speaker 2: were aware of this fraud and we're complicit in it
• 26:03
Speaker 2: should be prosecuted, Should there be accountability?
• 26:06
Speaker 6: There absolutely should be accountability. It is not normal to
• 26:09
Speaker 6: prosecute government officials for not prosecuting fraud. That is not
• 26:13
Speaker 6: a stand around I'm aware of that you've advocated, or
• 26:15
Speaker 6: that anyone else is advocated in the Senate.
• 26:17
Speaker 2: So do you think it's perfectly okay if let's say,
• 26:21
Speaker 2: if let's say Governor Waltz or Attorney General Ellison knew
• 26:24
Speaker 2: about the fraud, benefited from the fraud in terms of
• 26:27
Speaker 2: bundling votes, benefited from the frauds in terms of collecting
• 26:30
Speaker 2: campaign finance violations, and deliberately looked the other way. You
• 26:34
Speaker 2: think that you think that's not criminal conduct?
• 26:36
Speaker 6: In that hypothetical, it is not okay. D P not okay,
• 26:41
Speaker 6: but also, if you'll permit me that hypothetical is in
• 26:44
  Speaker 6: fact happening throughout.
• 26:46
Speaker 2: Okay, yes, I get it. You you dislike Trump. I understand, sir.
• 26:51
Speaker 2: Whether it's so, let me let me, let me not
• 26:56
Speaker 2: interrupt me. Please do not I please do not interrupt me.
• 27:00
Speaker 2: Please do not interrupting, Sir. You may answer questions after
• 27:04
Speaker 2: I asked. You've heard the evidence and testimony about daycare
• 27:08
Speaker 2: centers with no children, with no toys, with no facilities,
• 27:14
Speaker 2: with windows that are blacked out? Do you believe it
• 27:17
Speaker 2: is possible that the officials sending millions of dollars to
• 27:20
Speaker 2: those fake daycare centers and fake autism senators didn't know
• 27:25
Speaker 2: what was going on.
• 27:26
Speaker 6: Well, what I heard was claims about that, and I
• 27:29
Speaker 6: too have watched the video. We're both parents. I'm glad
• 27:33
Speaker 6: that the childcare centers don't open their door for someone
• 27:36
Speaker 6: who's knocking there. I don't view that as evidence that
• 27:39
Speaker 6: the childcare centers are fake childcare centers, although I'm sure
• 27:43
Speaker 6: there are some. My understanding is that state investigators have
• 27:47
Speaker 6: gone to do their duty at those exact same child
• 27:50
Speaker 6: centers and have found that most of them actually are
• 27:52
  Speaker 6: operating correctly.
• 27:53
Speaker 2: Well, I will say it is disappointing that you had
• 27:56
Speaker 2: a chance, leading a nonprofit that is supposedly pro tomocracy,
• 28:00
Speaker 2: to take a principal stand. Instead, you decided to defend
• 28:04
Speaker 2: the Somali fraudsters because it benefits elected center.
• 28:08
Speaker 1: It really is amazing the Democrats will defend this type
• 28:12
Speaker 1: of corruption in fraud and they'll do it right to
• 28:15
  Speaker 1: your face.
• 28:16
Speaker 2: Yeah. Look, they affirmatively support it. They benefit from it,
• 28:19
Speaker 2: they get elected. Look, one of the things I said
• 28:21
Speaker 2: in the hearing, the two closest statewide elections in Minnesota
• 28:26
Speaker 2: were one point races. So this is the difference between
• 28:29
Speaker 2: Democrats winning and losing. And I got to say, by
• 28:32
Speaker 2: the way, I invited to this hearing, Minnesota Governor Tim Waltz,
• 28:36
Speaker 2: I invited Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison. I invited Minneapolis
• 28:41
Speaker 2: Mayor Jacob Fry. All three of them refused to come.
• 28:45
Speaker 2: They could have come and defended themselves. They could have
• 28:47
Speaker 2: come and said that they were not complicit in this,
• 28:49
Speaker 2: but they effectively went in went in into witness protection. Yeah,
• 28:54
Speaker 2: and Ben, I don't know if you saw what our
• 28:56
Speaker 2: friend John Kennedy said this past week about Tim Waltz.
• 29:00
Speaker 2: What did he say. He said, Tim Waltz is a
• 29:04
Speaker 2: less masculine version of Hillary Clinton.
• 29:08
Speaker 1: We should put that on the back of the Leering
• 29:10
Speaker 1: Center shirts, right, like the Leering Center on the front,
• 29:13
Speaker 1: back quote on the back. I love it, truly incredible.
• 29:16
  Speaker 2: All right.
• 29:16
Speaker 1: Lastly, before we run out of time, Center, I do
• 29:18
Speaker 1: want to talk about a big victory this week for
• 29:20
Speaker 1: protecting kids. And we're seeing new guidances coming out saying
• 29:24
Speaker 1: that you shouldn't be mutilating children with transition surgeries until
• 29:28
  Speaker 1: they're adults. That's a no brainer. But now we're seeing
• 29:32
Speaker 1: a big change and this is going to save the
• 29:35
Speaker 1: lives of many children.
• 29:36
Speaker 2: Yeah. So this week the American Society of Plastic Surgeons
• 29:40
Speaker 2: announced that it no longer supported quote, gender affirming surgeries
• 29:46
Speaker 2: for children under eighteen. This is a big reversal. And
• 29:49
Speaker 2: then the next day, the American Medical Association said it
• 29:55
Speaker 2: agrees with the American Society of Plastic Surgeons about the surgery.
• 29:59
Speaker 2: And so the am said, also, you should not do
• 30:02
Speaker 2: these surgeries for miners, and the AMA said in the
• 30:05
Speaker 2: statement that because quote the evidence for gender affirming surgical
• 30:10
Speaker 2: intervention in minors is insufficient for us to make a
• 30:15
Speaker 2: definitive statement. The AMA agrees with ASPS that surgical interventions
• 30:21
Speaker 2: and minors should generally be deferred to adulthood. That is
• 30:26
Speaker 2: a big, big deal. Just a couple of years ago,
• 30:30
Speaker 2: the AMA and all these medical groups were pushing do
• 30:33
Speaker 2: the surgeries sterilize the kids? And and one of the
• 30:37
Speaker 2: real triggers was the two million dollar malpractice lawsuit that
• 30:42
Speaker 2: was one by Detransition or Fox Varian and that I'm.
• 30:46
Speaker 1: Interesting that happens in BAM. Now every one of these
• 30:49
Speaker 1: woke groups and the doctor groups that we're all making
• 30:52
Speaker 1: millions off this, So like, hold on a second, let's
• 30:54
Speaker 1: change it. We don't want to lose all of our money.
• 30:57
Speaker 2: Yeah. And by the way, to give you a sense
• 30:59
Speaker 2: of just what a massive shift this is. In twenty
• 31:03
Speaker 2: twenty one, here's what the AMA said on its website quote,
• 31:07
Speaker 2: The American Medical Association today strengthened its established position opposing
• 31:11
Speaker 2: the governmental intrusion into the practice of medicine that is
• 31:15
Speaker 2: detrimental to the health of transgender and gender diverse children
• 31:18
Speaker 2: and adults. Legislators in twenty states this year proposed batting
• 31:22
Speaker 2: physicians and other healthcare professionals from providing medically necessary gender
• 31:26
Speaker 2: affirming care to transgender and gender diverse youth. In response
• 31:31
Speaker 2: to this legislative trend, physicians and medical students at the
• 31:35
Speaker 2: AMA's House of Delegates meeting voted to meaningfully expand the
• 31:39
Speaker 2: organization's strong opposition to undue restrictions on medical care to
• 31:46
Speaker 2: populations that have been politicized in state legislatures. That was
• 31:51
Speaker 2: five years ago. And you want to talk about a
• 31:53
Speaker 2: massive sea change. That's a big, big deal.
• 31:56
Speaker 1: Yes, Center, it really is.
• 31:59
Speaker 2: Yeah, And I'll tell you JK. Rowling, who's really been
• 32:02
Speaker 2: courageous on this topic. She put out a long tweet
• 32:05
Speaker 2: this week that on this topic that's worth reflecting on.
• 32:08
Speaker 2: She said. A young d transitioner, Fox Variant, has won
• 32:12
Speaker 2: two million dollars damages in a medical malpractice lawsuit in
• 32:15
Speaker 2: which she sued the psychologist and surgeon who approved her
• 32:19
Speaker 2: for a double masectomy age sixteen. Remember they told us
• 32:22
Speaker 2: that wasn't happening. Well, it happened to her. Yeah. Varian's
• 32:25
Speaker 2: mother testified that she'd been against the surgery, but was
• 32:29
Speaker 2: pressured into agreeing because she'd been told that unless her
• 32:32
Speaker 2: daughter transition, she was likely to commit suicide. As the
• 32:36
Speaker 2: floodgates open, and more and more detransitioners sue the clinicians
• 32:40
Speaker 2: who subjected them to an unregulated medical experiment. Gender identity
• 32:46
Speaker 2: activists will almost certainly continue to ignore any evidence that
• 32:49
Speaker 2: fails to support their preferred narrative, and she goes on
• 32:54
Speaker 2: to say this will go down in history as one
• 32:56
Speaker 2: of the worst medical scandals of all time. Adults inside
• 33:00
Speaker 2: and outside the medical profession sold troubled young people like
• 33:03
Speaker 2: Varian the idea that all of their complex trauma would
• 33:08
Speaker 2: be resolved by removing healthy body parts. You know what,
• 33:12
  Speaker 2: woke is receding, and that's a huge victory. It's a
• 33:15
Speaker 2: huge victory for kids, and it's a huge victory for sanity.
• 33:18
Speaker 1: Amen to that. Don't forget we did the show as
• 33:20
Speaker 1: a podcast as well, so make sure you download it
• 33:23
Speaker 1: wherever you get your podcasts. Monday, Wednesday and Friday, hit

Speaker 1: listening on the radio, thanks for joining us. We'll see
• 33:32

Speaker 1: all week on the podcast. It's been a pleasure to

Speaker 1: be with you. Been listening to Verdict with Ted Cruz,
• 33:39
Speaker 1: See you next week.
