- 1:17Speaker 3: Dad podcast. Today. It is Monday, it is July eighteenth.
- 1:22Speaker 3: We're joined by h Francis Ellis.
- 1:27Speaker 1: Our specialist guest that we've ever had on this program.
- 1:29Speaker 1: And I'm honestly downright giddy that you're here. I'm like excited,
- 1:33Speaker 1: like I'm almost like I'm doing something wrong.
- 1:36Speaker 6: I'll tell you what, man, I'm feeling nervous. Are you
- 1:40Speaker 6: like any minute they're going to walk in And just.
- 1:44Speaker 3: When you came in here, the security guard pulled his
- 1:46Speaker 3: gun on you. It sure is get the fuck out
- 1:50Speaker 3: of here, that's right, he was.
- 1:52Speaker 1: Yeah, Erica and Day are gonna fucking kick down the
- 1:54Speaker 1: door like the Undertaker, just like Shadow in the doorway,
- 1:57Speaker 1: fucking ready to rip your ass out of here.
- 1:59Speaker 6: I mean, I don't know what you two are thinking
- 2:02Speaker 6: bringing me in.
- 2:03Speaker 1: We're testing are like good standing at this company.
- 2:07Speaker 6: You're just going to bounce back poorly on you. Guys.
- 2:11Speaker 3: We wanted to have you on for a while, but
- 2:13Speaker 3: Rome was the one that made the final call. I
- 2:14Speaker 3: don't have the authority to be making moves like that. Yeah,
- 2:17Speaker 3: I wanted to have you going on if you should
- 2:19Speaker 3: go south.
- 2:20Speaker 1: For sure, for sure I can. I can bear that yoke.
- 2:23Speaker 1: But then we're the people that are coming back in here,
- 2:25Speaker 1: like buddh Ben is back in here doing like five podcasts,
- 2:27Speaker 1: having like merch meetings and shit like that. Like you
- 2:30Speaker 1: should be able to fucking come back in and just
- 2:32Speaker 1: like do a little round of like saying hi to
- 2:34Speaker 1: all your old friends and co workers.
- 2:36Speaker 6: It would be nice, It would have been nice. It's
- 2:38Speaker 6: been three years, just over three years. I was fired
- 2:41Speaker 6: right before the fourth of July of twenty nineteen, and
- 2:45Speaker 6: so we're just past that now, and here, I am.
- 2:48Speaker 1: That's enough healing. That's enough time to fucking heal.
- 2:51Speaker 6: Some wounds, don't I don't know.
- 2:54Speaker 3: We're talking about a scar.
- 2:55Speaker 6: Yeah, they found the girl I talked about.
- 2:59Speaker 3: Is that why.
- 2:59Speaker 1: We're actually a lot? She was actually fine? Yeah, she
- 3:04Speaker 1: was actually a bad person. So it's actually okay that
- 3:06Speaker 1: you made fun of her.
- 3:07Speaker 6: Every day I google her name, no luck yet, but
- 3:10Speaker 6: unfortunately every day I google her name and my name
- 3:13Speaker 6: comes up too, and I'm like, god, damn.
- 3:15Speaker 4: It, dude.
- 3:15Speaker 1: So what does it feel like walking back in here?
- 3:18Speaker 1: What is what's what's going through your head?
- 3:20Speaker 6: Like it's very surreal, it's very spooky. I'm nervous. I'm nervous.
- 3:24Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 3:24Speaker 6: Well I went first of all, you know, I walked
- 3:27Speaker 6: by in the ground floor and there's a guy there
- 3:29Speaker 6: and it's like, visitors must sign in, and I was like,
- 3:32Speaker 6: just act like you work here still, So I blew
- 3:35Speaker 6: right by him and got away with it. And I
- 3:37Speaker 6: was like, okay, there's one layer of.
- 3:40Speaker 1: Down, yeah, defence.
- 3:41Speaker 6: And then I didn't know where the buttons for the
- 3:43Speaker 6: elevators were because their automatic.
- 3:45Speaker 3: I don't know why they did that.
- 3:46Speaker 6: Yeah, So I'm like, ah, fuck, he's gonna realize that
- 3:49Speaker 6: I don't know where the elevator buttons are and he's
- 3:51Speaker 6: been like, wait, did you sign in? So I quickly
- 3:54Speaker 6: found it. I was like, ah, should I just take
- 3:55Speaker 6: the stairs? And then I went in and then I
- 3:57Speaker 6: couldn't remember what for the office was, and so I
- 4:01Speaker 6: went to the wrong floor. I went to the sales floor, damn.
- 4:03Speaker 6: And I got out and a guy was like, do
- 4:05Speaker 6: you need to come in? I was like yeah, and
- 4:07Speaker 6: I came in and I immediately started trying to go
- 4:09Speaker 6: down the stairs, but instantly I started hearing the murmurs
- 4:12Speaker 6: of Francis.
- 4:16Speaker 1: You get pulled into a meeting real quick. There's probably
- 4:18Speaker 1: someone who is like the people on the islands in
- 4:21Speaker 1: Vietnam who didn't know the war, or like in Japan
- 4:23Speaker 1: who didn't know where the war was over. People probably
- 4:26Speaker 1: don't even know you got fired. They're like, Francis, get
- 4:28Speaker 1: in here, we got you. You got to move some
- 4:30Speaker 1: balls beach where. Yeah, yeah, you gotta fucking sell some
- 4:33Speaker 1: merch up here. We were supposed to have that, you know,
- 4:36Speaker 1: sponsored content meeting. Why bar stool goals.
- 4:40Speaker 6: Like, well, I'm not allowed to post sponsored content on
- 4:42Speaker 6: my own Instagram, so why would I ever do something
- 4:45Speaker 6: for the team?
- 4:46Speaker 1: Oh my god, dude.
- 4:47Speaker 3: So how long did you work in this office? Well?
- 4:52Speaker 6: I was at the old one for probably a year
- 4:54Speaker 6: and a half, and then this one for like a
- 4:57Speaker 6: little over a year.
- 4:58Speaker 3: I think.
- 4:59Speaker 6: Okay, it might have been more at the old one,
- 5:01Speaker 6: but then this one and then yeah, the last time
- 5:05Speaker 6: that I was here, I thought it was the was
- 5:08Speaker 6: the day that I got fired, But actually I had
- 5:11Speaker 6: to come back in to collect my affairs, my effects.
- 5:16Speaker 1: And and when you got fired in an ignominious stroke
- 5:20Speaker 1: to an illustrious career, you weren't you like going on
- 5:23Speaker 1: vacation like right after that or something like that, Like,
- 5:26Speaker 1: weren't you about to hit like a fucking beautiful tropical
- 5:28Speaker 1: vacation France?
- 5:30Speaker 3: You know France?
- 5:31Speaker 1: Ye were just France is kind of cool, it's incredible,
- 5:34Speaker 1: it's pretty good. I don't even think being fired from
- 5:37Speaker 1: a dream job could sour France for me. It soured
- 5:39Speaker 1: for you know.
- 5:40Speaker 6: I mean it's like seven fifths of my name, so mean,
- 5:44Speaker 6: So I fuck fraction, fucked it up?
- 5:48Speaker 1: Fine, we know, you know Fractions.
- 5:49Speaker 6: Yeah, uh no, I went we saw Yeah, I supposed
- 5:52Speaker 6: to go on on Monday. It was the Friday before
- 5:54Speaker 6: the fourth of July. And that was the first vacation
- 5:57Speaker 6: that I had taken since I was working at Barstool,
- 6:00Speaker 6: which I just really needed because I was crumbling.
- 6:02Speaker 1: Yeah, when you just cranking out content at all times,
- 6:05Speaker 1: vacations are actually like really helpful. And uh, they can't
- 6:09Speaker 1: act as like a full reset. And if you had
- 6:11Speaker 1: just gotten that vacation like a week earlier, you would
- 6:14Speaker 1: just be sitting alongside us, would.
- 6:15Speaker 6: Have missed the Duncan Awards, wouldn't have worn the wrong thing.
- 6:19Speaker 3: He would have still gotten fired.
- 6:21Speaker 6: No, No, I don't think so. And you know, what
- 6:23Speaker 6: you know, who else deserves some of the blame?
- 6:26Speaker 4: Kb KB?
- 6:27Speaker 3: Why because k b ok that blog he did. I
- 6:31Speaker 3: had him KB was your boss.
- 6:33Speaker 6: Abe was sitting right next to had KB been there
- 6:35Speaker 6: for like a month, a little longer, a little longer.
- 6:39Speaker 6: But I trusted him because he's a good writer. Yeah,
- 6:42Speaker 6: and uh it's very smart. He's very cerebral.
- 6:44Speaker 1: But that's probably why he was like, fuck this guy.
- 6:46Speaker 1: He's also a good writer, Like, let me sink his ship.
- 6:48Speaker 6: I like to think we were tight when on slow
- 6:51Speaker 6: days we would do geography quizzes together and he would
- 6:54Speaker 6: always kill me. Yeah, it was kind of his jam.
- 6:56Speaker 1: He's more autistic than you.
- 6:58Speaker 3: He would do like he'd be like, let's do the
- 6:59Speaker 3: whole world.
- 7:04Speaker 6: I'd get like thirty percent of it too, Like I
- 7:07Speaker 6: missed six islands in the South Pacific, and I'm like, God,
- 7:10Speaker 6: damn it, dude, we need to fucking work more.
- 7:13Speaker 1: But get back to these dead girl blogs.
- 7:15Speaker 6: Yeah, so I I you know, I remember, I remember.
- 7:18Speaker 6: It was it was that Friday before the fourth of July.
- 7:21Speaker 6: I had come in for barcel breakfast. It was a
- 7:23Speaker 6: gentleman's Friday, so so.
- 7:25Speaker 3: You know the boys, So you were large So were
- 7:27Speaker 3: you hammered when you got fired. I didn't.
- 7:30Speaker 6: I was pretty good about, uh, you know, not not
- 7:32Speaker 6: going too hard on this because I'm not a big
- 7:35Speaker 6: seven am drinking.
- 7:36Speaker 3: Now most people are on weekdays.
- 7:38Speaker 1: But those dudes are, though. Yeah, it's like that and
- 7:41Speaker 1: like a rope time, like just a bunch of.
- 7:43Speaker 6: Cheese, cheese, and he's always like, try this marble parmesan
- 7:47Speaker 6: and I'm like, dude, I need oatmeal.
- 7:49Speaker 1: Yeah, my digestive system isn't working yet, not ready for
- 7:53Speaker 1: hard right now, please and red wine? What what did
- 7:58Speaker 1: they do the rest of the day. I can't imagine
- 8:00Speaker 1: doing anything but sleeping after that.
- 8:02Speaker 3: I think they just go home right after.
- 8:03Speaker 6: They would and and so then I would try to
- 8:05Speaker 6: like fuzzily find stories to blog about. And and that day,
- 8:10Speaker 6: you know, Friday before the fourth of July, everyone's just
- 8:12Speaker 6: trying to like make it, make it to the end
- 8:15Speaker 6: of the day. And I remember seeing, you know, top
- 8:19Speaker 6: of all those stupid sites, we would look up New
- 8:21Speaker 6: York Posts or whatever else, this story about this girl
- 8:24Speaker 6: and she was missing and her sorority sisters. And I
- 8:28Speaker 6: was like, okay, I remember we'd been taught words that
- 8:31Speaker 6: would do well sorority was one already was right at
- 8:35Speaker 6: the top of the list. Yeah, yeah, you know, a sorority.
- 8:37Speaker 7: Uh.
- 8:38Speaker 6: And then it was like, uh, sugar Daddy was another one,
- 8:42Speaker 6: and that so it was all of a sudden they
- 8:43Speaker 6: were like there were like three words associated with the
- 8:46Speaker 6: story that were just right down the line.
- 8:49Speaker 1: It was like a slot machine, like King kaching.
- 8:51Speaker 6: Of a blog that would probably be read by a
- 8:53Speaker 6: lot of the audience.
- 8:55Speaker 3: And I was little, did you know? Yeah?
- 8:56Speaker 6: I looked on the back end of the world and
- 8:58Speaker 6: the seventeen bloggers that would feast on topics, no one
- 9:01Speaker 6: had it queued up. And I'm like, damn, what you
- 9:05Speaker 6: know that should have been the red flag. Yeah, I'm
- 9:08Speaker 6: like why, Wow, it's so rare to arrive on the
- 9:12Speaker 6: blogging block and not have anyone have beaten you to
- 9:15Speaker 6: a story. And so and I was like, man, I
- 9:18Speaker 6: just need to write like one or two blocks.
- 9:20Speaker 1: To get back in the good graces and.
- 9:22Speaker 6: Then I can go on vacation, you know. And this
- 9:25Speaker 6: one was all teed up and I like checked it
- 9:28Speaker 6: out and read the story. She was a color Daddy fan,
- 9:33Speaker 6: and uh, I was like, okay, great, the audience will
- 9:35Speaker 6: eat this up. And then I did a quick, little
- 9:38Speaker 6: quick search like is she okay? And then some older
- 9:43Speaker 6: site had written a story about her a couple of
- 9:45Speaker 6: days earlier that said authorities do not suspect foul play,
- 9:48Speaker 6: and I was like okay. And then as a last check,
- 9:52Speaker 6: I turned to our old friend KB no sweast.
- 9:55Speaker 1: The last line of defense, the moral compass.
- 9:59Speaker 6: Her sons swag, and I said, hey, dude, what do
- 10:02Speaker 6: you think of this? Is this a risky one? And
- 10:05Speaker 6: he like glanced it over, you know, looked through it,
- 10:08Speaker 6: and he's like, seems like she's fine to me. And
- 10:12Speaker 6: I'm like all right, And I wrote the blog, you know,
- 10:15Speaker 6: and assuming she was fine, fired it off, went to
- 10:18Speaker 6: meet you to do some recording.
- 10:20Speaker 3: Uh punk.
- 10:21Speaker 1: Yeah, you were recording like a piano for a pop
- 10:24Speaker 1: punk song and you were there being like, I don't know,
- 10:26Speaker 1: is this bad? Like I think this might be bad?
- 10:27Speaker 1: And I was like, you're fine, dude, not even about it.
- 10:31Speaker 6: I think even PFT was like yeah, I wouldn't worry
- 10:33Speaker 6: about it.
- 10:34Speaker 4: We were like, this is hilarious.
- 10:35Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 10:36Speaker 1: It was the same shot and Freud type of thing though. Yeah, oh,
- 10:38Speaker 1: people are all be mean to him. This is funny,
- 10:40Speaker 1: and until wait, wait.
- 10:41Speaker 6: So I'm getting all caps texts from Dave, all caps,
- 10:45Speaker 6: like he would double tap the caps lock thing and
- 10:48Speaker 6: be like, what the fuck why did you do this?
- 10:51Speaker 6: And I'm like, oh, I do think this is bad.
- 10:53Speaker 6: And then I was going to meet my girlfriend at
- 10:56Speaker 6: the time, now fiance, I was going to meet her
- 10:59Speaker 6: family for the first time.
- 11:01Speaker 3: Easy. So I went straight from.
- 11:05Speaker 6: That pump punting to Penn station and got on the train.
- 11:09Speaker 6: And as I was on the train down, I got
- 11:12Speaker 6: a call from Dave and I was like, oh, he
- 11:15Speaker 6: doesn't wait, wait, so call me.
- 11:16Speaker 3: Ever did you had it been deleted at this point? Oh?
- 11:20Speaker 6: Yeah, we deleted it instantly, so we were so so
- 11:23Speaker 6: it was ups for like an hour and a half
- 11:25Speaker 6: and where all that came out that she was no
- 11:28Speaker 6: then as soon as.
- 11:29Speaker 1: She was alive, when it was like Schrodinger's.
- 11:31Speaker 6: Blog, presumably she was alive, we didn't know any to
- 11:35Speaker 6: the worst, and then uh, as soon as she was
- 11:38Speaker 6: then then that moment, an hour and a half after
- 11:41Speaker 6: I wrote it, she was found dead, murdered and brutally murdered,
- 11:46Speaker 6: and uh. And then instantly I started getting emails from
- 11:49Speaker 6: like The Daily Beast, dead Spin, Uh, even even the
- 11:54Speaker 6: Washington Post, and I was like, you guys must have
- 11:56Speaker 6: better things to write about. But they were like, we're
- 11:58Speaker 6: writing a story. On the fact that you wrote this story.
- 12:00Speaker 6: We have three questions. One what the fuck's wrong with you?
- 12:04Speaker 6: You know, like two did you know did you have
- 12:06Speaker 6: anyone check this?
- 12:08Speaker 3: Like three?
- 12:08Speaker 6: And I was like KB, yeah, it's like, yeah, please
- 12:11Speaker 6: consult mister no swag.
- 12:13Speaker 3: Yeah, you're gonna want to get in touch with KB
- 12:15Speaker 3: no swag, Yeah, dude.
- 12:17Speaker 4: I think the two big title was his idea as well.
- 12:20Speaker 3: Oh yeah, yeah.
- 12:25Speaker 6: By the way, never nothing like even as ridiculous as
- 12:28Speaker 6: that was the problem I had with it most was like, man,
- 12:31Speaker 6: they worked so hard to make this acronym fit. So
- 12:35Speaker 6: many of those words are just such a silly way
- 12:38Speaker 6: to make an acronym work.
- 12:40Speaker 3: Come on. Guy got hired and I remember I screenshot
- 12:44Speaker 3: and I sent it to KB and I was like
- 12:45Speaker 3: this is old right, and he was like, no, that
- 12:47Speaker 3: was today. That was literally I got. I was like,
- 12:49Speaker 3: I'd been hired for like ten hours and I was like, fuck, dude, dude.
- 12:53Speaker 6: The word that bothered me the most in that was
- 12:55Speaker 6: extremely I was like, if you could just do now,
- 12:59Speaker 6: it's gonna get and an apostrophe in there, and and
- 13:03Speaker 6: but extremely you're just you're just trying to make it fit.
- 13:06Speaker 1: Yeah, you are. You could have, because it would have
- 13:07Speaker 1: been like an app name, just like taken out the vow,
- 13:10Speaker 1: like you would have got the point across.
- 13:11Speaker 6: It was just yeah. So yeah, So Dave called me.
- 13:15Speaker 6: I'm on the train, I'm fifteen minutes from meeting my
- 13:18Speaker 6: girlfriend's parents for the first time. And so what do
- 13:20Speaker 6: you do. Yeah, He's like, he's like, we got to
- 13:24Speaker 6: let you go. I'm sorry, you know, it just is
- 13:26Speaker 6: the way it is. And I was like, yeah, I
- 13:28Speaker 6: get it. I mean, I just I just you felt
- 13:31Speaker 6: like everything was no, I felt like everything was leading
- 13:34Speaker 6: towards that. I at that point had such a pit
- 13:37Speaker 6: in my stomach over over the whole thing. And I
- 13:40Speaker 6: just as soon as I saw him his name on
- 13:42Speaker 6: my phone, I was like, I'm toast.
- 13:45Speaker 1: Damn, that sounds like a nightmare.
- 13:47Speaker 6: Well, I will say this to Dave's credit, like, you know,
- 13:51Speaker 6: he let me go. It was in nice terms. And
- 13:54Speaker 6: I was pretty shaken, obviously because now now I had
- 13:58Speaker 6: all these news outlets were putting out stories.
- 14:00Speaker 3: And yeah, that's the worst.
- 14:02Speaker 6: The whole thing was just so beyond, and I had
- 14:05Speaker 6: no idea you were.
- 14:06Speaker 1: More culpable than the guy that killed that woman.
- 14:08Speaker 6: Oh yeah, yeah right, you nobody knows his name at all.
- 14:13Speaker 3: I mean he's probably mad at I probably killed another
- 14:17Speaker 3: girl to like wake up for it.
- 14:18Speaker 1: I'm going to get my credit.
- 14:20Speaker 3: I know. I just had to write about her.
- 14:23Speaker 6: Uh yeah, so so so you.
- 14:28Speaker 3: When I met up with.
- 14:29Speaker 6: I walked in and I walked into the I had
- 14:31Speaker 6: to get on the phone with you know, my like
- 14:34Speaker 6: manager who helped me craft. I crafted an apology statement,
- 14:39Speaker 6: which to this day I'm actually quite proud of.
- 14:41Speaker 3: Uh. I don't know.
- 14:42Speaker 6: Have you read the It's a it's a good one.
- 14:44Speaker 6: Oh it's well written.
- 14:45Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm sure it's well written. Was it?
- 14:47Speaker 7: Uh?
- 14:48Speaker 1: Was it like funny or no?
- 14:49Speaker 3: No?
- 14:50Speaker 6: No, it was totally self effacing and and and also
- 14:53Speaker 6: absolve well like justly so absolved the company of any
- 14:58Speaker 6: oversight over that blog, which was the entire purpose I wanted.
- 15:01Speaker 6: I wanted everyone to know that nobody besides KB had
- 15:06Speaker 6: looked at it, so that the company you.
- 15:08Speaker 1: Fell on the sword.
- 15:09Speaker 6: Yeah, well I didn't want I didn't want Barslola get
- 15:11Speaker 6: in trouble for my fuck up. You know, and so
- 15:15Speaker 6: uh so I I wrote that statement, and then that
- 15:18Speaker 6: got included in all the articles. And all these articles,
- 15:21Speaker 6: most of them were pretty fair, you know, there was
- 15:24Speaker 6: like this dumbit guy, I wrote this thing, but the
- 15:27Speaker 6: Daily Beast to this day, the Daily Beast guy was
- 15:32Speaker 6: so beyond belief ridiculous. And what he wrote. He wrote
- 15:37Speaker 6: that I had slut shamed a murdered girl. That was
- 15:40Speaker 6: the headline. Jesus Christ, I mean, how absurd is that?
- 15:44Speaker 6: First of all, like, I'd never slutchamed anyone in my life.
- 15:47Speaker 1: I love you, Yes, I know everybody knows that about you.
- 15:51Speaker 3: I've been a slut for years. I was, and you're
- 15:54Speaker 3: proud of it.
- 15:55Speaker 6: Yeah, you know, gotta let your freak flag fly, go
- 15:57Speaker 6: for it.
- 15:58Speaker 1: Yeah, never would you ever?
- 16:00Speaker 3: That was torn about.
- 16:01Speaker 6: He dug up all these old blogs I'd written and
- 16:04Speaker 6: picked out jokes, especially like I used to write these
- 16:06Speaker 6: blogs about Frankie and how how much of a crush
- 16:08Speaker 6: I had.
- 16:08Speaker 1: On him and wanted to fuck his beautiful mouth.
- 16:11Speaker 6: Yeah, and one of those blogs I wrote like, uh,
- 16:14Speaker 6: he wrote like something like I'd probably fuck him if
- 16:16Speaker 6: he wanted to, but I I won't because I'm not
- 16:18Speaker 6: an f and then I did asterisks to like blur
- 16:24Speaker 6: the slur for gay people, yes, which I thought, like
- 16:27Speaker 6: someone who admits to wanting to bang a dude and
- 16:29Speaker 6: then censors their homophobia was kind of funny. And the
- 16:33Speaker 6: guy wrote, like, included that like joke which I'd written
- 16:37Speaker 6: a year before, as.
- 16:38Speaker 1: If he had starred out the letters and you had
- 16:41Speaker 1: used it flat.
- 16:41Speaker 6: But he he was like, he was like, the blurring
- 16:44Speaker 6: is his own word, like the sick, And I'm like, dude,
- 16:48Speaker 6: you cannot read that joke and accuse me of homophobia.
- 16:51Speaker 6: It's such a mired, nonsensical joke, and and and and
- 16:57Speaker 6: he like he was like he's he's exhibited homophobic humor
- 17:00Speaker 6: before he's done this and like slut shaming pattern and
- 17:03Speaker 6: all these Dude, I'm telling you, I have this dream.
- 17:07Speaker 6: I have this dream. I remember, I'm not gonna I'm
- 17:09Speaker 6: not gonna honor him by saying that the writer's name,
- 17:11Speaker 6: But I have this dream that one day I'll find
- 17:14Speaker 6: a hacker from like anonymous, one of those really undercovered
- 17:18Speaker 6: dark web people, is really good, who can just plant
- 17:22Speaker 6: troves of child pornography on his hard drive and then
- 17:26Speaker 6: all call it in and like and then tweet the
- 17:30Speaker 6: fuck out of it and like be like this this
- 17:33Speaker 6: guy slut shame thirteen year old. I don't know, that's
- 17:37Speaker 6: I just think about it all the time.
- 17:39Speaker 1: Troves and I wanted to be troves Tons, Like you
- 17:41Speaker 1: want to be part of the swat team that has
- 17:43Speaker 1: to like guide him out with his fucking underwear around his.
- 17:47Speaker 6: And prison is so mean to people like that. Get
- 17:49Speaker 6: found for that. Yes, the guitars.
- 17:53Speaker 4: His last name should be a synonym for child's born
- 17:55Speaker 4: in history textbooks, getting months.
- 17:57Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, that's the dream.
- 18:00Speaker 3: That's what we're working on. Now.
- 18:01Speaker 6: I know you've got some coders here.
- 18:03Speaker 3: You'll probably get Greer on it. That would be good. Yeah,
- 18:05Speaker 3: there has to be like we get quigs on it.
- 18:07Speaker 6: Where's that guy that that gave the code to McAfee, Oh,
- 18:10Speaker 6: like he might.
- 18:10Speaker 1: Be up for Hi Hunter? No, yeah, John Hunter whatever,
- 18:15Speaker 1: Jeff Hunter.
- 18:15Speaker 3: You knew what he was doing.
- 18:16Speaker 1: Jeff Hunter could definitely plant some some CP on someone.
- 18:20Speaker 6: Yeah, he's the guy, dude.
- 18:22Speaker 1: So, uh did you call your uh your girlfriend at
- 18:26Speaker 1: the time, Wait until you arrived at her parents' house
- 18:29Speaker 1: and like pull aside, be like I just go for.
- 18:31Speaker 6: I think I I think I called her to let
- 18:33Speaker 6: her know because I didn't want to walk in, you know,
- 18:37Speaker 6: I wanted there to be some kind of buffer. Yeah,
- 18:41Speaker 6: I just I just wanted them to know how totally
- 18:45Speaker 6: dazed I would be because I walked in. I mean,
- 18:48Speaker 6: I didn't eat for like I'm not I'm not lying.
- 18:50Speaker 6: I didn't eat for three days.
- 18:52Speaker 3: Damn. Yeah, it feels terrible. I'm sure it felt terrible.
- 18:54Speaker 6: You just you just think your life is over because
- 18:57Speaker 6: the whole internet is on five. Wait, so about.
- 19:00Speaker 3: You were like I know, obviously like people who are
- 19:03Speaker 3: not like barstool fans were probably going crazy online. But
- 19:06Speaker 3: what we're like, were the stoolies like pissed too, like
- 19:09Speaker 3: oh like fuck you? Or were they like this is
- 19:12Speaker 3: this is a little much?
- 19:13Speaker 6: I think most people at the time, the first the
- 19:16Speaker 6: most the reaction was mostly like, oh, it's too bad. Yeah,
- 19:20Speaker 6: you know what, we agreed that that. Yeah, he probably
- 19:23Speaker 6: had to go for this. That was really stupid. You
- 19:25Speaker 6: gotta know better. But like, you know, I wasn't being
- 19:29Speaker 6: malicious if you read the blog. I'm not like I
- 19:32Speaker 6: hope she's dead or something fucked up. I hadn't, you know, clearly,
- 19:36Speaker 6: I didn't know, and I was just being careless. Yeah,
- 19:40Speaker 6: and so most people were just like, ah, it sucks,
- 19:42Speaker 6: shitty thing. And then I think as time were on,
- 19:48Speaker 6: I think people were like, uh, you know, maybe maybe
- 19:52Speaker 6: we could have suspended him or something like that.
- 19:55Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 19:56Speaker 6: Listen, I'm not agreed disagreeing with the way it went down.
- 19:59Speaker 6: I totally, I totally get it. And I would say
- 20:02Speaker 6: that I'm on good terms with Dave and Erica at
- 20:05Speaker 6: this point, and uh still hold the company in extremely
- 20:09Speaker 6: high regard. I've become friends with so many of you guys,
- 20:12Speaker 6: and I miss it here, I really do. I miss
- 20:16Speaker 6: I miss the people, and I really missed the work.
- 20:19Speaker 6: I loved the work.
- 20:20Speaker 1: Here, Yeah, just like writing and podcasting and doing like
- 20:24Speaker 1: stupid goofy stuff.
- 20:25Speaker 6: You don't realize how uninterested the internet is in you
- 20:31Speaker 6: until you lose a waiting audience of hundreds of thousands
- 20:35Speaker 6: of people that you have here.
- 20:36Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 20:37Speaker 1: Yeah, So what was it like to first, like a
- 20:40Speaker 1: couple of months year of being like, all right, I'm
- 20:42Speaker 1: still gonna It's not like I'm gonna switch to a
- 20:44Speaker 1: fucking law degree or like a fucking accounting job. You're like,
- 20:48Speaker 1: I'm still fucking gonna grind and make it happen. You
- 20:51Speaker 1: start at oops, you know what I mean, you started
- 20:53Speaker 1: doing from home.
- 20:54Speaker 6: You know, it was a difficult balancing act of like, okay,
- 20:57Speaker 6: am I supposed to like go into hiding and and
- 21:00Speaker 6: and show that I'm contrite and you know, sort of
- 21:03Speaker 6: censor myself or or muzzle myself for a while. I
- 21:07Speaker 6: feel like if I do that, I'll lose any kind
- 21:11Speaker 6: of momentum I might have had before this happened. So
- 21:15Speaker 6: I need to in a way harness the people that
- 21:17Speaker 6: are still interested in seeing what I have to offer
- 21:20Speaker 6: without coming across as like totally trying to capitalize on
- 21:26Speaker 6: this controversy I've created. So that was a difficult balancing act. Instantly, weirdly,
- 21:33Speaker 6: I got like three or four emails and phone calls
- 21:36Speaker 6: from people that were like, I want to hire you today,
- 21:41Speaker 6: all kinds of weird places and that a lot of
- 21:45Speaker 6: which just didn't, you know, materialize, and we're like people,
- 21:48Speaker 6: I think, talking out of their asses. And then you
- 21:52Speaker 6: go and you do some podcasts because people obviously.
- 21:55Speaker 3: Did some big you did some big shows.
- 21:56Speaker 6: Yeah, in the in the comedy world, you know, being
- 22:00Speaker 6: canceled is like a badge of honor, a lot of
- 22:02Speaker 6: the time, and.
- 22:03Speaker 1: It's like your boy scout badge, like I got my
- 22:05Speaker 1: canceled badge.
- 22:06Speaker 6: And people I think want to want to show their
- 22:09Speaker 6: support and they're dislike of that whole thing by by having.
- 22:13Speaker 1: It and in the grand scheme of ways that people
- 22:14Speaker 1: have gotten canceled kind of Miles I was.
- 22:16Speaker 6: A pretty safe, very mild.
- 22:18Speaker 3: Pen us inside Pitts. Yeah you know what I mean,
- 22:20Speaker 3: like no touching.
- 22:22Speaker 1: Yeah, so it's actually mate, wake, I'm trying to think
- 22:26Speaker 1: of more mild ones in that.
- 22:30Speaker 6: I don't know, I don't know. I mean, you know,
- 22:31Speaker 6: there's like there's a lot of the do you know
- 22:36Speaker 6: do you know Megan Amram Do you know her? Uh yeah,
- 22:39Speaker 6: she's big on Twitter.
- 22:40Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 22:40Speaker 1: Yeah, she's a brilliant, funny writer.
- 22:42Speaker 6: Screenwriter, wrote for Silicon Valley for many years, like just
- 22:45Speaker 6: has been and then the good Place or yeah it
- 22:49Speaker 6: just is like infinitely hirable person, brilliant writer and then
- 22:53Speaker 6: you know, out of nowhere she's having this great career
- 22:55Speaker 6: and then like someone went way deep in her Twitter
- 22:58Speaker 6: and found some like anti Asian tweets that were like
- 23:02Speaker 6: just jokes, you know, But it was like it wasn't
- 23:05Speaker 6: that people only went looking for that because the anti
- 23:11Speaker 6: Asian hatred thing popped up as a byproduct of COVID,
- 23:17Speaker 6: So it was like the moment arrived to cancel her
- 23:22Speaker 6: instead of like.
- 23:24Speaker 1: What she did meriting.
- 23:25Speaker 6: Yeah, nobody, nobody cared until that became the cause du jour.
- 23:31Speaker 6: Does that make sense?
- 23:32Speaker 1: Yeah, nobody was mad at fucking Washington for being a
- 23:35Speaker 1: slave owner at the time, right, but now suddenly slavery's wrong.
- 23:39Speaker 1: Now we want to rip down the statues.
- 23:41Speaker 6: Dude, is fucking bullshit, right, dude, go watch go watch
- 23:45Speaker 6: Sex in the City. Go watch Sex and State. We're
- 23:48Speaker 6: watching Sex in the City right now. This show. First
- 23:50Speaker 6: of all, it's amazing. The writing is really tight, right,
- 23:53Speaker 6: holds up very funny. They say the word retarded constantly,
- 24:00Speaker 6: and they make fun of of people with mental illnesses,
- 24:03Speaker 6: like the amount of stuff from that show that would
- 24:06Speaker 6: not fly, and that was late nineties, early two thousands,
- 24:08Speaker 6: and it's like, why why does anyone come after them?
- 24:11Speaker 3: You know?
- 24:12Speaker 6: Is it because people with developmental disorders haven't had their
- 24:17Speaker 6: turn yet?
- 24:19Speaker 3: Like?
- 24:19Speaker 6: Is that not the time?
- 24:20Speaker 3: Has it not?
- 24:20Speaker 1: They not equipped to defend themselves or your.
- 24:23Speaker 6: Words not mine? Your words not mine.
- 24:27Speaker 1: I'm asking you what do. I know, I don't speak
- 24:30Speaker 1: your language, but it is uh, I mean, well it's
- 24:33Speaker 1: just uh inconsistent. And in some circles it's like weighs
- 24:37Speaker 1: more than in other circles. It's like if you're trying
- 24:40Speaker 1: to like have this corporate TV job, there's like way
- 24:43Speaker 1: more of a pressure for fucking people to get uh
- 24:46Speaker 1: you know, canceled in.
- 24:47Speaker 4: A whole different way.
- 24:48Speaker 3: Right.
- 24:49Speaker 6: And again, like I'm not railing against cancel culture. I
- 24:52Speaker 6: find that very tired rating. It's just it's just we've
- 24:55Speaker 6: beaten that.
- 24:56Speaker 3: I think it's more like people getting I think most
- 24:59Speaker 3: people are in agreement for like things that people should
- 25:01Speaker 3: get canceled on. Yeah, and like the old like like
- 25:04Speaker 3: how much of a loser do you have to be
- 25:05Speaker 3: to be pulling up tweets from fucking twenty thirteen? Right,
- 25:08Speaker 3: like get a life.
- 25:09Speaker 6: I mean, and and and the lack of awareness of
- 25:11Speaker 6: like okay, yeah, that's what I used to think, or
- 25:14Speaker 6: maybe I used to think was funny, like people evolve, Yeah,
- 25:18Speaker 6: you know, try me now. What was what was encouraging
- 25:22Speaker 6: about my thing was that there were a lot of
- 25:25Speaker 6: people who were able to sort of differentiate between what
- 25:28Speaker 6: had happened with me and some of the more you know,
- 25:31Speaker 6: fucked up.
- 25:32Speaker 1: I think anybody with a brain.
- 25:33Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, And.
- 25:34Speaker 6: I had some big people come come to my defense
- 25:37Speaker 6: that I wouldn't have thought, names Ellen DeGeneres's executive producer, Andy.
- 25:43Speaker 3: I thought, you're going to drop Ellen DeGeneres a little
- 25:46Speaker 3: bit of.
- 25:46Speaker 4: A tease there.
- 25:47Speaker 3: Well have I told you that story? Now?
- 25:51Speaker 6: What can you look up?
- 25:52Speaker 3: Andy?
- 25:53Speaker 6: Andy ellen degenerous. His name is Andy Laster and he's
- 25:56Speaker 6: big Twitter five hundred thousand plus blue check mark and
- 25:59Speaker 6: he quote tweeted my apology thing on Twitter and then
- 26:03Speaker 6: said like, I've never heard of you until today. The
- 26:05Speaker 6: story's sad. You know, the mob's gonna come after you.
- 26:08Speaker 6: It will pass you seem like a good person. I
- 26:12Speaker 6: don't sweat it.
- 26:13Speaker 1: And this is before she got shipped on too, yeah.
- 26:15Speaker 6: Long before yeah, and this is the de Genereses camp,
- 26:18Speaker 6: you know.
- 26:18Speaker 1: And she was still in like she was at that time,
- 26:20Speaker 1: like the most popular American.
- 26:22Speaker 6: Most universally liked person. Yeah, and so that was really
- 26:27Speaker 6: bolstering for me. Tim Dillon called me, and Andrew Schultz
- 26:31Speaker 6: had me on his podcast immediately. Uh fo Vaughne. I
- 26:34Speaker 6: mean there were there were a lot of people that
- 26:36Speaker 6: like just really made me feel Hannah Burner like a lot,
- 26:39Speaker 6: like like my life wasn't over, you know. And then
- 26:43Speaker 6: so back to Ellen really quick. And by the way,
- 26:46Speaker 6: if I'm dominating this kind of pot.
- 26:47Speaker 1: Now, this is what the people want to hear. People.
- 26:50Speaker 3: People, I mean, this is haven't really heard this side
- 26:52Speaker 3: of things, and they.
- 26:53Speaker 1: Haven't heard from you on like a platform in here
- 26:56Speaker 1: for for quite some time obviously.
- 26:59Speaker 4: Three.
- 26:59Speaker 6: But I do I do want to. I do want
- 27:00Speaker 6: a son of a boy dadded up.
- 27:02Speaker 3: We will, we will, We're doing get it all off
- 27:04Speaker 3: your chest, Yeah, just like Rogan, Okay, cool, We're going
- 27:07Speaker 3: for a while.
- 27:08Speaker 6: I like it.
- 27:09Speaker 3: I like it.
- 27:09Speaker 1: Let's get uncomfortably high off cigar smoke. Let's all throw
- 27:14Speaker 1: up off cigars. Let's inhale fucking thick cubanos till we vomit.
- 27:18Speaker 6: I always think about, like, what would I have if
- 27:20Speaker 6: if one day he ever had me on that podcast.
- 27:23Speaker 1: Like, what what would be your like, uh intoxicant of choice?
- 27:27Speaker 6: Yeah, what's my what's my witch's brew? Made him think
- 27:31Speaker 6: I'm cool but not losing myself to the degree that
- 27:34Speaker 6: I make a four? And what if you come up
- 27:35Speaker 6: with I mean, I think It's probably like maybe one
- 27:39Speaker 6: glass of whiskey on the rocks.
- 27:42Speaker 4: Would get hammered.
- 27:43Speaker 6: One or two. I don't know, dude, I can't. I'm
- 27:45Speaker 6: not gonna go full like multiple beers. Maybe I don't
- 27:48Speaker 6: even drink it all.
- 27:50Speaker 3: Stay sharp, I think you have to.
- 27:52Speaker 6: And then towards the end, maybe I would smoke.
- 27:54Speaker 3: Yeah, give me that, Give me that, Give me that
- 27:56Speaker 3: fucking joint. I've been.
- 27:58Speaker 6: I've been smoking weed to develop a tolerance.
- 28:01Speaker 3: Is in case I ever get.
- 28:04Speaker 1: Last thing you want to do is be like fucking
- 28:06Speaker 1: gripping the table and there while you guys.
- 28:07Speaker 3: Ever happened, I don't know.
- 28:09Speaker 6: I I tell my fiance gets bad, She's like, you're
- 28:12Speaker 6: smoking weed again tonight And I'm like, I don't know
- 28:14Speaker 6: when side park and Thursday and like.
- 28:20Speaker 3: Call me in.
- 28:21Speaker 6: You know, I don't know things are out there, dude.
- 28:24Speaker 1: But one of the best things about, uh, your the
- 28:28Speaker 1: whole situation is I think that you've gotten like so
- 28:32Speaker 1: much sharper as a stand up that like seeing you like, uh,
- 28:36Speaker 1: maybe what I see a couple of months ago, probably
- 28:38Speaker 1: three months ago at Gotham and then that compared to
- 28:41Speaker 1: how your stand up was is like You're like a
- 28:44Speaker 1: whole new evolved beast.
- 28:46Speaker 6: That stand up that's so nice.
- 28:47Speaker 3: I really appreciate.
- 28:48Speaker 1: Don't you feel that way though? Don't you kind of
- 28:49Speaker 1: feel like you leveled.
- 28:50Speaker 6: Up well almost for lack of choice?
- 28:53Speaker 1: You know, it's like, uh, and also you experienced trauma,
- 28:57Speaker 1: which will make you funnier, like your ship was funck bro.
- 29:00Speaker 6: I finally had something that people felt bad for me about.
- 29:03Speaker 6: You know, sourcing empathy is challenge.
- 29:07Speaker 1: There was nothing I've never how can I be a victim?
- 29:13Speaker 6: I've never walked on stage and had people be like this,
- 29:15Speaker 6: poor guy?
- 29:16Speaker 3: You know?
- 29:16Speaker 6: Then yeah, yeah, so I leaned into that for sure.
- 29:21Speaker 3: But yeah, you.
- 29:23Speaker 1: Would have jerked off in front of someone at twenty
- 29:24Speaker 1: if you had known that that could get you just
- 29:27Speaker 1: good will.
- 29:27Speaker 6: I'm at the point where, like I legitimately have considered,
- 29:31Speaker 6: like what what what is the route for me to
- 29:35Speaker 6: declare myself trans.
- 29:38Speaker 4: Yeah, we talked about this before.
- 29:40Speaker 6: I mean, I'm not I'm not even trying to do
- 29:42Speaker 6: a bit.
- 29:42Speaker 3: Like we wanted to do a we wanted to do
- 29:45Speaker 3: a video where where like where you auditioned for s
- 29:49Speaker 3: n L and you like cut your dick off like
- 29:52Speaker 3: in the audition something they just instantly hire you. They
- 29:55Speaker 3: just like stand up applauding or like you cut your
- 29:57Speaker 3: dick off in the bathroom and you just instantly get
- 29:58Speaker 3: a call from Lauren Michael's. It's like you're hired.
- 30:01Speaker 6: You just like pick it up in a locked bag,
- 30:04Speaker 6: wear around your neck like in a patche Yeah.
- 30:06Speaker 1: They're not enjoying it until they see your fucking dick necklace.
- 30:10Speaker 4: Yeah that is.
- 30:11Speaker 1: I mean it would open doors, but I feel like
- 30:13Speaker 1: you're just your your stand up off the strength. I
- 30:16Speaker 1: feel like has uh has opened doors? And uh, the
- 30:19Speaker 1: ship was hilarious, even the clips that you've been kind
- 30:21Speaker 1: of putting out from that show. Uh, it seems like
- 30:24Speaker 1: you've also uh you did a song at the start
- 30:27Speaker 1: of that show, but like how has uh? I feel
- 30:29Speaker 1: like you're you're a less leaning on songs, but it's
- 30:32Speaker 1: still part of like who you are.
- 30:33Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 30:34Speaker 6: I'm always told that's my differentiator. Uh, and yet I
- 30:38Speaker 6: maintain this kind of uh, you know, I guess puritanical
- 30:44Speaker 6: view of what stand up is, which is total bullshit.
- 30:48Speaker 6: And you know, I think, like, well, I've got a
- 30:50Speaker 6: master just the classic standing with a microphone trying to
- 30:54Speaker 6: entertain people that way. Before I add bells and whistles.
- 30:58Speaker 6: But the truth is there are so many brilliant musical
- 31:01Speaker 6: comedians like Bo Burnham obviously is as good, if not
- 31:05Speaker 6: better than anybody doing it anyway, So I don't really
- 31:10Speaker 6: know where that kind of silly view comes from.
- 31:15Speaker 3: The butt.
- 31:15Speaker 6: Bottom line, I'm at a point where I need something
- 31:19Speaker 6: to set me apart, and I don't know that I'll
- 31:21Speaker 6: ever be good enough at just telling jokes and build
- 31:25Speaker 6: and writing jokes.
- 31:26Speaker 1: So but it is such a long game anyway. It's
- 31:29Speaker 1: still like you're like a young like a super young
- 31:31Speaker 1: comedian as far as the dude.
- 31:33Speaker 6: Then I see this guy, he's not what are you
- 31:36Speaker 6: a year in one year? And he's he's so much
- 31:40Speaker 6: farther along now than I was after a year, and
- 31:45Speaker 6: he's moving at like warp speed. It's like he's got,
- 31:48Speaker 6: you know, someone in in the matrix order outside the matrix,
- 31:52Speaker 6: just like downloading how to do it into your brain,
- 31:55Speaker 6: And I you know, you feel it, you feel these
- 31:57Speaker 6: young guys coming and I'm a person and only I'm
- 32:00Speaker 6: I'm thrilled, like I.
- 32:02Speaker 3: Yeah, but I still feel like all the young people
- 32:03Speaker 3: are not even nearly like I mean, you do way
- 32:06Speaker 3: better than me.
- 32:06Speaker 4: On stage by a lot, But.
- 32:08Speaker 6: You're going to learn it. You're gonna catch me in
- 32:12Speaker 6: so little time. No, I don't think so, because you are,
- 32:16Speaker 6: you are being forced to learn how to do it
- 32:19Speaker 6: with by headlining. Yeah, and there's nowhere to hide, and
- 32:22Speaker 6: you're being given these forty five minute to fifty minute reps. Yeah, ye,
- 32:27Speaker 6: that no one else who's twenty one has, and you've
- 32:29Speaker 6: earned that through the strength of your incredible online work.
- 32:34Speaker 6: So your fans are absolutely deserved, and you're just gonna
- 32:37Speaker 6: You're just gonna pick it up way, way faster.
- 32:40Speaker 3: Yeah. I guess it's probably true.
- 32:41Speaker 6: I mean I yeah, and then you'll and then you'll
- 32:43Speaker 6: have it, and then all of a sudden and I'll
- 32:46Speaker 6: kill someone. You know, you'll be selling out every well
- 32:48Speaker 6: you already are. I just you know, and I there's
- 32:51Speaker 6: I'm not like jealous or nervous. This doesn't make me nervous,
- 32:55Speaker 6: Like that's how.
- 32:56Speaker 3: It's real jealous. I'd be pissed.
- 32:59Speaker 1: I'll be furious someone's coming in like fucking at a
- 33:02Speaker 1: different pace than me, anybody that's more successful, and that's
- 33:05Speaker 1: just shows how much you've grown as a person.
- 33:07Speaker 3: I would be fucking pissed. The fuck off.
- 33:10Speaker 1: You're just more secure.
- 33:11Speaker 3: I still wait for like someone here to get hired
- 33:13Speaker 3: that's younger than me, and that's gonna be the day
- 33:14Speaker 3: when I really have to turn the turn.
- 33:16Speaker 1: The jets one being a prodigy, Yeah.
- 33:20Speaker 6: I see him having a beer at a show and
- 33:23Speaker 6: I'm like, dude, you you're barely allowed to have that.
- 33:28Speaker 6: That's the part that bothers me. It's like, yeah, I
- 33:31Speaker 6: love to have a few drinks before I go on stage,
- 33:33Speaker 6: and I'm like, you.
- 33:33Speaker 1: Don't know, you don't even know you Like bro.
- 33:38Speaker 3: Was like two weeks ago.
- 33:42Speaker 1: Knocked his beer over at the spoo. There was some bullshit, dude,
- 33:46Speaker 1: another thing before we just start yucking and boy dad
- 33:48Speaker 1: ended up. The last thing I want to know about
- 33:49Speaker 1: is if you saw any of the barstool idol situation
- 33:54Speaker 1: that was going on in here.
- 33:55Speaker 6: You know, I only ever catch I see the things
- 33:59Speaker 6: end up on my follow all of you guys, So uh,
- 34:02Speaker 6: these things end up on my timeline and stuff, and
- 34:04Speaker 6: I and I like to watch clips and keep up
- 34:07Speaker 6: with you guys. I don't want to say this, like
- 34:10Speaker 6: I wasn't that interested in that tournament.
- 34:15Speaker 3: I don't know why. It's understandable it just didn't.
- 34:18Speaker 6: Like grab me, nor did it really grab me. I
- 34:21Speaker 6: don't think if as a fan, if I hadn't been
- 34:23Speaker 6: in season one, I would have necessarily watched me. You
- 34:27Speaker 6: know what I mean, I don't know so uh, I.
- 34:30Speaker 3: Mean you don't give a fuck.
- 34:31Speaker 6: Well, I'm aware of what happened, right, didn't the didn't
- 34:35Speaker 6: that kid?
- 34:36Speaker 3: The guy win a girl?
- 34:37Speaker 1: So this guy, John.
- 34:39Speaker 6: Rich Frans he read about Raisins. I read that Raisins thing.
- 34:43Speaker 6: That was pretty funny.
- 34:44Speaker 1: I like that, Yeah, that was funny. And then or
- 34:46Speaker 1: actually they were kind of a combination of you, because
- 34:48Speaker 1: he writes well in a similar way to you. But
- 34:50Speaker 1: so she was this woman Caroline one. Oh and uh
- 34:54Speaker 1: but she sung a lot of songs. Oh really, and
- 34:56Speaker 1: then early on I was like, Okay, the songs are good,
- 34:59Speaker 1: but you gotta have some something else. And I think
- 35:01Speaker 1: that she kind of took that as a little bit
- 35:03Speaker 1: of an insult, but I don't I wasn't trying to
- 35:04Speaker 1: be insulting. I was more trying to be like, you
- 35:07Speaker 1: just have to have kind of a wide breadth of
- 35:09Speaker 1: things that you do, and I think no one will
- 35:12Speaker 1: be able to speak to that better than you. Was
- 35:14Speaker 1: like what you need other shit?
- 35:16Speaker 3: Did you enjoy hosting it because you judged the second season? Right?
- 35:20Speaker 3: I did? Did you enjoy that? Well? I didn't. I
- 35:22Speaker 3: didn't love it judging people. Yeah, I just don't.
- 35:26Speaker 6: It's like it's tough because you know, I've remembered very
- 35:30Speaker 6: acutely how nervous I was doing it. Yeah, and then
- 35:33Speaker 6: also just how how like crushing it would have been
- 35:38Speaker 6: to be either disgraced or humiliated for either losing or
- 35:43Speaker 6: just like doing something wrong because you're you're someone. Maybe
- 35:48Speaker 6: these people were different. Some of these people had had
- 35:50Speaker 6: pretty big followings already, right yeah, yeah, whereas like we
- 35:54Speaker 6: were all kind of nobody's I guess, with the exception
- 35:57Speaker 6: of Donnie, who didn't even really compete. But like, to
- 36:00Speaker 6: go from from being someone who nobody gives a shit
- 36:03Speaker 6: about to ye, all of a sudden, you're like front
- 36:05Speaker 6: and center on the barstool stage and these are people
- 36:07Speaker 6: you've known for years or followed for years, and they're
- 36:10Speaker 6: telling you about yourself. It's terrifying. It was just absolutely terrifying.
- 36:16Speaker 1: It's scared to get told about yourself period, because there's
- 36:19Speaker 1: all you're always just like fuck you, dude, Like look what.
- 36:21Speaker 3: Do you do right? Like, what is your eight doing that?
- 36:24Speaker 3: I can't imagine doing that? Like John Rich had like
- 36:26Speaker 3: what like three hundred followers before he started, Like I
- 36:29Speaker 3: can't imagine doing that to then being in one Like
- 36:33Speaker 3: I mean, then.
- 36:33Speaker 1: This past weekend he was like he was getting deep
- 36:35Speaker 1: throated by Snookie at the Jersey Shore. Dude, now his
- 36:39Speaker 1: life has changed completely. He was face fucking Snooky off
- 36:42Speaker 1: the top bunk.
- 36:42Speaker 3: Is that right?
- 36:43Speaker 1: Yes, dude, he was the whole cast of Jersey Shore
- 36:46Speaker 1: was fucking lipping off John Rich and Jeff d Low's shore.
- 36:50Speaker 6: That's so fun.
- 36:51Speaker 3: That's just what happens down in the shore.
- 36:52Speaker 1: That's fun when you hang out with Jeff Jeffy Low.
- 36:56Speaker 6: Yeah, he fucks like no, I kind of get that sense.
- 36:59Speaker 6: I mean I saw him just now and he's Laura.
- 37:03Speaker 6: He's lost weights.
- 37:04Speaker 3: Yea.
- 37:04Speaker 6: His hair is the same.
- 37:05Speaker 1: Have you noticed the hairs about anybody? It's because it's
- 37:08Speaker 1: funny because you have a whole different like perspective, Like
- 37:11Speaker 1: it's like going into space and like seeing your twin
- 37:14Speaker 1: it's like we aged at different fucking rates or whatever.
- 37:17Speaker 3: You know.
- 37:17Speaker 6: Look, here's what happened to me. If I'm honest, I
- 37:22Speaker 6: kind of just learned, or I started to just I
- 37:24Speaker 6: got to a point where the only thing I really
- 37:26Speaker 6: cared about was was making money. That's kind of where
- 37:29Speaker 6: I'm at right now. Fuck yeah, which is a little
- 37:32Speaker 6: a little jaded, it's it's a little cynical, but like,
- 37:36Speaker 6: fundamentally that all of this to me is a job
- 37:39Speaker 6: I don't really care about. It's a good job, you know,
- 37:42Speaker 6: but yeah, the respect of my peers, you know, I
- 37:46Speaker 6: don't really care about like a lot of the things
- 37:49Speaker 6: I used to care about, like getting into the comics
- 37:52Speaker 6: table at a certain comedy club or you know, getting
- 37:56Speaker 6: passed at this place. A lot of these rights of passage,
- 37:58Speaker 6: these hallowed ground, don't hold the same shine for me anymore. Fundamentally,
- 38:05Speaker 6: I'll do any gig for the right price, just whatever
- 38:08Speaker 6: the market. Thing I took. I took a gig hosting
- 38:11Speaker 6: a crypto conference a couple of weeks ago.
- 38:14Speaker 1: Oh, you'll do anything anything.
- 38:17Speaker 7: It was.
- 38:17Speaker 6: It was so bad and my manager called me and
- 38:20Speaker 6: was like he was like, listen, we got this offer.
- 38:23Speaker 6: You're not gonna want to do it. I'm like, well,
- 38:25Speaker 6: tell me about it, and he's like, yeah, it's this
- 38:26Speaker 6: crypto thing. Like, you know, they just want you to
- 38:29Speaker 6: come in do like twenty minutes of stand up and
- 38:31Speaker 6: blah blah blah. It's going to be a hell gig.
- 38:33Speaker 6: No one's going to be listening. I'm like, all right,
- 38:34Speaker 6: what are they paying? He's like seven thousand, and I'm like, dude,
- 38:37Speaker 6: what the fuck is wrong with you? What? What is
- 38:41Speaker 6: wrong with you that you would think I wouldn't do
- 38:44Speaker 6: anything nearby? He thinks you're like one thousand.
- 38:48Speaker 1: Dollars, this artist who has this like standard of quality.
- 38:51Speaker 1: You're trying to make a buck. Dude, you got a
- 38:53Speaker 1: wedding to plan for what.
- 38:54Speaker 3: I don't have pride, I don't dignity, none of this.
- 38:58Speaker 3: This is an art.
- 39:00Speaker 6: This is all transactional. Let's make it happen.
- 39:02Speaker 4: I was it.
- 39:03Speaker 6: Yeah, I did it, and it was exactly what we thought.
- 39:05Speaker 3: It was gonna be.
- 39:06Speaker 4: It was bad.
- 39:07Speaker 6: They you know, there were there were like two hundred people,
- 39:09Speaker 6: and I took the microphone. Someone introduced me, like very quietly.
- 39:14Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah.
- 39:14Speaker 6: They're like, okay, we've got an entertainer for the thing.
- 39:16Speaker 6: Please welcome comedian Francis has And then everyone's like what
- 39:20Speaker 6: the fuck And they all just went back to talking
- 39:23Speaker 6: about their business, their work, and the only the two
- 39:27Speaker 6: tables in the front could even hear a word I
- 39:29Speaker 6: was saying, and they were politely listening, And then the
- 39:32Speaker 6: ninety percent of the rest of people there were just
- 39:34Speaker 6: having loud, robust conversations as I yelled white noise at them.
- 39:40Speaker 1: And can you just turn your brain off to and
- 39:42Speaker 1: you're just like close through the set and just like
- 39:44Speaker 1: walk off the stage or are you like internalizing being
- 39:47Speaker 1: like these motherfuckers.
- 39:48Speaker 6: No, I have no judgment. I would have done the
- 39:50Speaker 6: same thing if I were with them.
- 39:51Speaker 3: Who am I?
- 39:54Speaker 6: You know, they don't know who I am. Jim Gaffigan
- 39:56Speaker 6: comes up there, They're probably gonna be like, oh shit,
- 39:58Speaker 6: we've got somebody.
- 39:59Speaker 3: This matters, you know.
- 40:00Speaker 6: But like I'm just walk looking at my watch every
- 40:04Speaker 6: you know, a couple of minutes and being like, very
- 40:05Speaker 6: nice watch, by.
- 40:06Speaker 1: The way, you know what I mean.
- 40:07Speaker 3: Remember how a lot of seven thousand dollars gigs put together.
- 40:12Speaker 6: My dad has continued to do well, very smart armoring
- 40:18Speaker 6: his uh his wealth.
- 40:19Speaker 1: Damn, that's crazy, But that's still fucking awesome that that
- 40:23Speaker 1: you're making money. Because I feel like a lot of
- 40:25Speaker 1: stand ups don't And I know how much money you're making,
- 40:27Speaker 1: because Sass will come back and he'll be like, dude,
- 40:29Speaker 1: you know how much fucking France is making and he'll
- 40:32Speaker 1: pound the table fucking furious.
- 40:35Speaker 3: But you are too.
- 40:37Speaker 1: No.
- 40:37Speaker 3: I was just like I was like, damn, dude, Francis
- 40:39Speaker 3: is doing well. I was in no way was I like,
- 40:42Speaker 3: bro fucking France.
- 40:45Speaker 6: Listen, after after I got fired from here, I kept
- 40:49Speaker 6: waiting to find out if I was if it was over,
- 40:53Speaker 6: if I had to figure something else out. And you
- 40:57Speaker 6: keep sort of just gently trying to, you know, test
- 41:01Speaker 6: the waters, step forward, try new things, podcast, weird video
- 41:06Speaker 6: series about parking, you know, all these.
- 41:08Speaker 3: All these thank.
- 41:10Speaker 6: You I mean, but like you never know and this this,
- 41:12Speaker 6: you just sort of weave together a tapestry that keeps
- 41:17Speaker 6: you afloat until all of a sudden you're like, oh,
- 41:20Speaker 6: nobody cares anymore about what happened to me. Nobody gives
- 41:24Speaker 6: a ship, and nobody's holding that against me, and two
- 41:27Speaker 6: people enough people still care about what I have and
- 41:30Speaker 6: what I make, that I can still make a living.
- 41:33Speaker 6: And then you get to a point where you're like, oh,
- 41:36Speaker 6: I can can I can grow, I can grow again.
- 41:40Speaker 6: And now I'm at that point where I'm like, I'm
- 41:43Speaker 6: getting kind of greedy again, you know, which is exciting.
- 41:46Speaker 3: The demons, the demons and way inside. Yeah, I had this.
- 41:50Speaker 6: I had this thing where I I I think you
- 41:52Speaker 6: guys saw it it. I went out into the breakdown lane.
- 41:56Speaker 3: Everybody video exploded.
- 41:58Speaker 6: Oh my god, Yeah, it's it's crazy.
- 42:00Speaker 3: Yeah, that blew up.
- 42:01Speaker 1: Wait what was it on? What was its right?
- 42:03Speaker 3: Or he was on TikTok like a bunch of hip hop. Yeah? Yeah, yeah.
- 42:07Speaker 6: And by the way, someone else checked me. They were like,
- 42:09Speaker 6: what the fuck do you mean by that? And I'm like,
- 42:10Speaker 6: it was literally called mixtapes with the Z How else
- 42:14Speaker 6: do you want me to say it. I'm not saying
- 42:15Speaker 6: a black account.
- 42:17Speaker 3: But also like, yeah, black people saw the video and
- 42:19Speaker 3: liked the video.
- 42:20Speaker 6: Like, no, they did not.
- 42:21Speaker 3: They didn't like it.
- 42:22Speaker 6: This was a deeply polarizing video on racial lines, which
- 42:26Speaker 6: I'm not happy about.
- 42:27Speaker 3: And I had no idea.
- 42:29Speaker 1: That's how it better to be known and dislike than
- 42:31Speaker 1: not known.
- 42:32Speaker 3: You know.
- 42:32Speaker 6: The amount of people who were like, come to Detroit
- 42:34Speaker 6: and try the right over the head with a bag
- 42:37Speaker 6: of pennies, and I'm like, fuck, First of all, I
- 42:39Speaker 6: would never go to Detroit. Secondly, is this why there's
- 42:43Speaker 6: a coin shortage? Like why do pennies in your car?
- 42:47Speaker 6: They're like to throw them at people like you, Karen,
- 42:49Speaker 6: and I'm like, I'm not a Karen.
- 42:51Speaker 3: Karen.
- 42:52Speaker 6: Move would have been to call the police to deal
- 42:54Speaker 6: with this. I'm putting out all my phone fires. I
- 42:56Speaker 6: want all the smoke comeing fucking deal with them.
- 42:58Speaker 3: You know, on the ear on the.
- 42:59Speaker 1: Line, I saw the one you had to hop out
- 43:01Speaker 1: of the lane because the guy was reaching for something.
- 43:03Speaker 6: Yeah, I do know my place, and you know, I'm
- 43:05Speaker 6: not going to test the water too much.
- 43:06Speaker 1: Yeah, but you couldn't have been more in the line
- 43:08Speaker 1: of fire. It's not like you're put pawning off your
- 43:10Speaker 1: problem to someone else. No, you're being a fucking to
- 43:13Speaker 1: some a hero and to some people the villain.
- 43:16Speaker 6: And again it is really polarizing. I mean it was
- 43:18Speaker 6: white people.
- 43:19Speaker 3: Being they tell the people what they did, what you do.
- 43:20Speaker 4: Just a case.
- 43:21Speaker 6: So I one day, you know, I was driving home
- 43:24Speaker 6: on the highway and there was deep traffic heading into
- 43:27Speaker 6: the halland Tunnel and you know, there's like two or
- 43:30Speaker 6: three lanes and then there's a shoulder a break. I
- 43:32Speaker 6: used to call it a breakdown lane, but everyone knows
- 43:35Speaker 6: that it's a shoulder and that ends. That shoulder ends,
- 43:38Speaker 6: so it doesn't run all the way through to the tunnel.
- 43:41Speaker 6: So a lot of people were like, well, that's for
- 43:44Speaker 6: emergency vehicles or if a husband is driving his screaming
- 43:48Speaker 6: pregnant wife to the hospital, they need to use that.
- 43:50Speaker 6: It's like, well, even if that were the case, they
- 43:53Speaker 6: would have only been able to gain another two hundred
- 43:55Speaker 6: yards before they were completely congested in the same traffic.
- 43:59Speaker 3: Right.
- 44:00Speaker 6: So, and and lastly, if I'd seen someone behind me
- 44:04Speaker 6: being like, ah, emergency A I would have pulled back
- 44:07Speaker 6: in right, I would have gotten out of their way.
- 44:09Speaker 6: But I was sitting in traffic like a good citizen
- 44:12Speaker 6: and watching car after car after car just rip by
- 44:17Speaker 6: and then merge in and cut us all. And I've
- 44:21Speaker 6: just said, okay, I've had enough. I've had enough. Because
- 44:24Speaker 6: people are like, oh, it's not your problem. Why does
- 44:26Speaker 6: it matter every single car that goes by me adds
- 44:29Speaker 6: let's call it fourteen seconds to my commute home.
- 44:33Speaker 1: Of course, because there's car me at least fourteen at
- 44:36Speaker 1: least I would say more seconds per car, and I
- 44:39Speaker 1: want to get home to my wife.
- 44:40Speaker 3: She might be pregnant.
- 44:41Speaker 4: I don't know how she could be.
- 44:43Speaker 3: We're not trying. But we're not not trying.
- 44:45Speaker 1: That's how you find out. Yeah, or if she decides
- 44:47Speaker 1: in that time to not be pregnant anymore, and you
- 44:50Speaker 1: couldn't have had any fucking saying the master.
- 44:51Speaker 6: Exactly, And if she did go into labor, it would
- 44:54Speaker 6: be super early.
- 44:55Speaker 3: But we would need to.
- 44:56Speaker 1: Deal with you yet just as much as anyone else.
- 44:59Speaker 1: That's and all the people who are like, abolish the police,
- 45:03Speaker 1: like fucking we don't need police officers to deal with
- 45:06Speaker 1: these like you should be their poster child, that's right.
- 45:09Speaker 1: You should be the one who's like, oh, I'm a
- 45:10Speaker 1: fucking citizen taking the law into my own hands.
- 45:13Speaker 3: We can self govern.
- 45:14Speaker 1: As a society and not let fucking lawlessness ensue.
- 45:17Speaker 6: Exactly.
- 45:18Speaker 1: Well, we'll just look after each.
- 45:19Speaker 6: State of nature? Right, completely?
- 45:21Speaker 3: Great? What was it Scott? Who is the Fred Scott
- 45:26Speaker 3: who wrote State of Nature?
- 45:28Speaker 1: Come on, we learned this Scott Fitzgerald. Who's Scott?
- 45:32Speaker 3: Michael Scott? That is Scott?
- 45:34Speaker 6: Who wasn't Scott? I don't know why I said Scott.
- 45:37Speaker 6: Somebody wrote State of Nature? And I'm embarrassed not to
- 45:39Speaker 6: have that.
- 45:40Speaker 1: That's all right, We're not We're low.
- 45:43Speaker 4: We should be embarrassed.
- 45:44Speaker 6: So finally I just gently pulled out into the shoulder
- 45:50Speaker 6: and then drove at the regular pace of traffic as
- 45:54Speaker 6: a as a roadblock. And the woman, the women that
- 45:57Speaker 6: were behind me, pulled up into the wear of the
- 45:59Speaker 6: space I been in and they looked over and saw
- 46:01Speaker 6: what I was doing, and they gave me the thumbs up.
- 46:04Speaker 2: Uh.
- 46:05Speaker 6: And then I knew we had we had created a force. Yeah,
- 46:10Speaker 6: and they would let me back in once it was time.
- 46:13Speaker 3: Uh.
- 46:14Speaker 6: And there was a car behind me and he was
- 46:15Speaker 6: flashing his lights and honking, you know, all the kind
- 46:18Speaker 6: of moves you would use if you were having an emergency.
- 46:21Speaker 1: But you knew he was.
- 46:22Speaker 6: He was alone, and he was driving a super nice car.
- 46:25Speaker 6: And I was like, this guy, this guy doesn't have shit.
- 46:27Speaker 6: He thinks he's above the law, he thinks he's better
- 46:29Speaker 6: than me. Fuck that noise. And eventually I got all
- 46:32Speaker 6: the way to the end. I merged back in. He
- 46:34Speaker 6: came in behind me. He pulled up alongside right. I
- 46:38Speaker 6: rolled my window down just to see what was what
- 46:40Speaker 6: and he goes, yeah, sorry, you probably can't blame me. Right,
- 46:45Speaker 6: can't blame me for trying. And I'm like, ah, I
- 46:47Speaker 6: appreciate your good humor about it.
- 46:49Speaker 3: Yeah. We both laughed that story.
- 46:52Speaker 4: Have you done it again?
- 46:53Speaker 3: Since I have?
- 46:55Speaker 6: I've done it once.
- 46:56Speaker 4: Uh.
- 46:56Speaker 6: And then the guy behind me was like guns and
- 46:59Speaker 6: then he's started going like like rummaging around like and
- 47:04Speaker 6: I'm like uh, and I pulled back in and just
- 47:07Speaker 6: let him go.
- 47:07Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 47:08Speaker 1: Oh my god.
- 47:10Speaker 6: The best part of all of this is I then
- 47:12Speaker 6: tweeted like, does anyone after I got all these death
- 47:15Speaker 6: threats and stuff? I tweeted, does anyone know of someone
- 47:18Speaker 6: who could uh bulletproof a car like the wheels because
- 47:23Speaker 6: apparently you need to bulletproof the wheels too.
- 47:25Speaker 3: Yeah, that's how that's that's what I think. That's what
- 47:28Speaker 3: cops are supposed to do, to shoot out the wheels
- 47:31Speaker 3: so then they can arrest you.
- 47:32Speaker 1: Used to drive around in the beast or whatever they
- 47:34Speaker 1: call the secret Service thing.
- 47:35Speaker 3: Then you get that Tesla truck.
- 47:36Speaker 6: That that cyber truck.
- 47:38Speaker 3: Yeah, the cyber truck. Yeah.
- 47:40Speaker 6: I tweeted this out and uh, you know a bunch
- 47:42Speaker 6: of people being like good luck. But then one guy
- 47:46Speaker 6: d m me and he was like, listen, I work
- 47:47Speaker 6: at a body shop in Dubai. We we create armored
- 47:51Speaker 6: vehicles for like visiting heads of state and uh, let's talk.
- 47:55Speaker 6: And I was like, oh man, how far am I
- 47:57Speaker 6: going to go with this? You know, like, is this
- 48:00Speaker 6: that's my next thing? Am I going to take my
- 48:03Speaker 6: ridiculously decked out bulletproof car to Chicago and fucking Detroit
- 48:08Speaker 6: and then just like pull out, block the shoulder, have
- 48:11Speaker 6: some people get out start shooting at how.
- 48:14Speaker 3: It doesn't till you get shot too. You know.
- 48:17Speaker 6: What I really wanted to do was like do that
- 48:19Speaker 6: and then like outfit the car with like almost like
- 48:22Speaker 6: in a James Bond way, with like hoses something just
- 48:25Speaker 6: like back but they're stupid, you know, nonsense.
- 48:31Speaker 4: That would be fucking incredible.
- 48:32Speaker 3: But I would be insanely funny.
- 48:34Speaker 6: That would go viral. Oh that would go viral.
- 48:37Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 48:37Speaker 6: So this is the most watched thing I've ever I've
- 48:39Speaker 6: ever made by.
- 48:39Speaker 1: Far, And it's crazy. Just by you driving around you
- 48:41Speaker 1: make good car content.
- 48:42Speaker 3: I don't.
- 48:43Speaker 1: Yeah, you're a good car guy. It just comes to you.
- 48:45Speaker 1: You just find the content.
- 48:46Speaker 6: I made this thing.
- 48:47Speaker 3: I didn't. I didn't.
- 48:47Speaker 6: I almost didn't even post it. I thought maybe i'd
- 48:49Speaker 6: post it as a story, and I was like, you
- 48:52Speaker 6: know what, I'll try this as a reel. And I
- 48:55Speaker 6: threw it up as a reel and it just I mean,
- 48:58Speaker 6: it got all these big accounts asked me if they
- 49:00Speaker 6: could post it, and then it just blew up.
- 49:03Speaker 3: It just blew up.
- 49:04Speaker 1: It's incredible.
- 49:05Speaker 4: You tell them yes right now?
- 49:06Speaker 6: Yeah, because they said they would credit me. Oh okay,
- 49:08Speaker 6: people are doing that.
- 49:09Speaker 1: Probably the Daily Beast trying to throw it up there.
- 49:11Speaker 1: I bet they did. It would surprise me, those hypocrites
- 49:14Speaker 1: drew it up.
- 49:14Speaker 6: Yeah, well not that guy who wrote about me. I
- 49:15Speaker 6: didn't have any kids in the call crazy.
- 49:19Speaker 3: He would have absolutely loved it.
- 49:21Speaker 6: Probably would have gotten right in the backseat.
- 49:23Speaker 1: One of the things, dude, I love about you is
- 49:25Speaker 1: I think that you're a great adult friend maker. And
- 49:28Speaker 1: I think that so anytime I've been over your house
- 49:32Speaker 1: a couple of times, and like any time it'll be like, hey,
- 49:35Speaker 1: I'm about to have like a poker game of like
- 49:36Speaker 1: all my buddies are going to come over and play poker,
- 49:39Speaker 1: or I'll be you'll like have like a party and
- 49:41Speaker 1: like be playing a game, and it's all these like
- 49:43Speaker 1: friends from different like walks of life, just like different
- 49:45Speaker 1: New York people, and you'll just be like making adult
- 49:48Speaker 1: friends and having a good ass time.
- 49:50Speaker 6: Well, listen, I appreciate that, but you to credit me
- 49:54Speaker 6: is to sell yourself short because you are a very
- 49:57Speaker 6: desired guest.
- 49:58Speaker 3: I don't know about that very desirable guests.
- 50:01Speaker 1: Well, I mean it was just random when I was
- 50:02Speaker 1: coming over and you were just like having your poker games,
- 50:05Speaker 1: or we were playing that game Secret Hitler.
- 50:06Speaker 6: But I've invited you a bunch of times and you've
- 50:08Speaker 6: come a couple of times, so when you do come,
- 50:11Speaker 6: it's a treat.
- 50:12Speaker 1: It well, it was a blast, except for when we
- 50:13Speaker 1: played that Secret Hitler game. You stuffed a bunch of
- 50:16Speaker 1: mushroom chocolates in my mouth, and I fucking stopped realizing
- 50:18Speaker 1: what was what do. By the next day, I didn't
- 50:21Speaker 1: know if I was actually Hitler or not, because it's
- 50:24Speaker 1: a full game about lying. And I really had to
- 50:26Speaker 1: go home because I was so toasted off the mushroom
- 50:29Speaker 1: chocolates and I just didn't know what was a liear,
- 50:31Speaker 1: what was the truth?
- 50:31Speaker 6: For a while, I gave you those because you had
- 50:34Speaker 6: arrived somewhat late on the later end, and everybody else
- 50:37Speaker 6: that was still at the party. Was just you know,
- 50:39Speaker 6: over a barrel. You came to the dregs. Yeah, you
- 50:43Speaker 6: you encountered the dregs, And I was like, how can
- 50:45Speaker 6: we get rown on our level as fast as possible?
- 50:49Speaker 1: But it made it's made me gun shy about mushroom chocolate.
- 50:52Speaker 3: Really, Yeah, dude, I have it. The last couple of times.
- 50:54Speaker 1: I've been offered drugs, I've been like, dude, I don't know.
- 50:56Speaker 1: I kind of got thrown into a blender last time.
- 50:59Speaker 3: Young people do normal mushrooms anymore?
- 51:02Speaker 4: Is it just the chocolate?
- 51:03Speaker 6: I did them with Nate Diaz recently? It was fun Yeah,
- 51:08Speaker 6: man out in out in l A.
- 51:11Speaker 3: Our pal Shane.
- 51:12Speaker 6: Gillis was was we were just like, we ran into
- 51:15Speaker 6: Nate Diaz.
- 51:16Speaker 1: They're just buddies now right.
- 51:17Speaker 6: Yeah, He's hung out with them a few times and
- 51:19Speaker 6: we were we were shooting sketches for his thing, Gillian Keys,
- 51:23Speaker 6: which is coming out as soon as Awesome.
- 51:25Speaker 1: And you're in this season too, you were in last season.
- 51:27Speaker 6: I'm in a couple of this one. Yeah, and there
- 51:30Speaker 6: they should be really funny. I mean they're just he
- 51:31Speaker 6: and McKeever unbelievable, and we, uh, we were at their
- 51:35Speaker 6: hotel having to drink after after the last day of shooting,
- 51:39Speaker 6: and we were in the sort of bar area down
- 51:41Speaker 6: by the pool and Nate Diaz and his whole like
- 51:44Speaker 6: team just randomly came in and then Shane said hi
- 51:48Speaker 6: to him, and he was like, you should come have
- 51:50Speaker 6: dinner with us. We're going to this really cool vegan restaurant.
- 51:53Speaker 6: We got a private room and we so we just
- 51:56Speaker 6: like went with them and had this insane dinner that
- 52:00Speaker 6: was like vegan, damn but like wine and drinks.
- 52:04Speaker 1: Is picking up the tab for that kind of thing,
- 52:06Speaker 1: I think?
- 52:06Speaker 6: So, I think he did. He also had a couple
- 52:10Speaker 6: of guys with him who looked like they were doing
- 52:12Speaker 6: pretty well and and they also we certainly didn't pay
- 52:17Speaker 6: a dollar and then we Nate was like, Nate was
- 52:22Speaker 6: like passing around a ziploc bag of mushrooms, which you know,
- 52:27Speaker 6: huge back like a freezer back.
- 52:30Speaker 1: People are just eating it like skitt I was.
- 52:32Speaker 6: And I was like, I was like, you know, our
- 52:34Speaker 6: crew was a little cautious, like Shane had to go
- 52:37Speaker 6: to a set later, so he was drinking but like
- 52:39Speaker 6: not and I just had this thought of like, all right,
- 52:42Speaker 6: a night like this is never gonna happen to me again.
- 52:46Speaker 3: How I want.
- 52:47Speaker 6: To see how far the rabbit hole goes, So I'm
- 52:51Speaker 6: gonna say yes to whatever Nate Diaz puts in front
- 52:55Speaker 6: of me. Yeah, that was my mentality the whole way.
- 52:58Speaker 6: And as a result, know, we're ripping shots at dinner mushrooms.
- 53:02Speaker 6: He like hands me a joint, I'm smoking weed. We
- 53:06Speaker 6: go watch Stane set he kills. Then we like went
- 53:09Speaker 6: to a liquor store and bought a bunch of cases
- 53:12Speaker 6: of white Clause and then went to an abandoned parking
- 53:14Speaker 6: lot and just shotgun white Claus until three in the
- 53:17Speaker 6: morning in la and dude, it was like one of
- 53:20Speaker 6: the best nights of my whole one of the best
- 53:23Speaker 6: nights of my whole life. And then the next morning
- 53:26Speaker 6: I woke up, I'd left my car there. I was
- 53:28Speaker 6: staying all the way in Venice with my buddies, the
- 53:31Speaker 6: Friday Beers guys.
- 53:32Speaker 3: Do you know that those.
- 53:33Speaker 6: Guys are great?
- 53:33Speaker 1: Of course, and Dana copied their whole Uh yeah, and
- 53:37Speaker 1: they're aware.
- 53:38Speaker 3: No, I don't know the uh wait which guys? Uh?
- 53:42Speaker 3: The Brothers Max guys then started at Jack. Yeah, have
- 53:45Speaker 3: you seen those guys? The sketch the guys to do
- 53:47Speaker 3: the sketches. Yeah, those guys are.
- 53:49Speaker 6: Yeah, that kid Austin is really funny. Billion Chat They're.
- 53:51Speaker 3: Right, they're all doing Yeah, they're hilarious.
- 53:54Speaker 6: And so I had to drive back to West Hollywood
- 53:57Speaker 6: from Venice, which is like an hour and I mean
- 54:00Speaker 6: every twenty minutes, I was like, I am about to
- 54:03Speaker 6: ask the uber driver to pull over. It was I'm
- 54:05Speaker 6: going to throw up.
- 54:06Speaker 1: Oh you were in the back seat of a car
- 54:07Speaker 1: and you were getting sick.
- 54:08Speaker 6: And I finally got I held on. I got to
- 54:11Speaker 6: the hotel, got out, walked straight in and just puked
- 54:15Speaker 6: in the in the bathroom, no way. And then I
- 54:17Speaker 6: went and did Tim Dillon's podcast.
- 54:18Speaker 1: That's fucking awesome. That's a hell of it.
- 54:20Speaker 3: It's a good week. La was a movie. Yeah, it's crazy.
- 54:23Speaker 1: It's crazy how just saying yes to things sometimes will
- 54:26Speaker 1: give you like it'll just be a fucking awesome time.
- 54:29Speaker 6: You still have it, you know what I mean? Oh,
- 54:31Speaker 6: it doesn't matter. You and I are like roughly the
- 54:33Speaker 6: same age. Yeah, and we're you know, we've got wives,
- 54:36Speaker 6: were you know, probably settling down a little bit from
- 54:39Speaker 6: those wild nights.
- 54:40Speaker 1: But at the same time, though, like I had this
- 54:42Speaker 1: entire weekend. I had wild nights. There was a new
- 54:44Speaker 1: bar that opened up in our neighborhood. They had like
- 54:47Speaker 1: fucking uh, there's like there's like clues on the on
- 54:50Speaker 1: the coasters, just like a lion's head cat it'll be
- 54:52Speaker 1: like like just inside of Beaver. It's like, oh, it's
- 54:56Speaker 1: justin Bieber or whatever. And I was going home. There's
- 54:58Speaker 1: like a Buddhist temple across the street from me, and
- 55:00Speaker 1: I was like going through all these coasters reading the things,
- 55:02Speaker 1: and I was so fucked up. I was like, dude,
- 55:04Speaker 1: these Buddhist duds need to fucking do these quizzes too.
- 55:06Speaker 1: And I was like throwing the coasters over to the
- 55:09Speaker 1: fucking Buddhist temple. I was absolutely obliterated. I was like,
- 55:12Speaker 1: they need to they need to be able to do
- 55:14Speaker 1: these same quizzes and uh. But to your point, it's
- 55:17Speaker 1: just like, yeah, you still have it. I still went
- 55:21Speaker 1: hard as fuck the entire weekend, and it wasn't like
- 55:23Speaker 1: I hate when people who are our age or older
- 55:26Speaker 1: or like even younger. Is more frustrating when they're like, oh,
- 55:29Speaker 1: like you get to your late twenties and fucking hangovers
- 55:31Speaker 1: are fucking brutal. Its like, no, dude, it's exact same
- 55:35Speaker 1: as any hangover you've ever had. I agree, it's not
- 55:37Speaker 1: any harder. And you could just go hard if you
- 55:39Speaker 1: have like, as long as you don't have children in
- 55:41Speaker 1: your life, right, you're pretty much to go spot on
- 55:43Speaker 1: it is that the j By the way, Ronan and
- 55:45Speaker 1: I are just about neighbors. Yeah, right about neighbors.
- 55:49Speaker 6: Which has been really fun. And so is and so
- 55:51Speaker 6: is Big Cat.
- 55:51Speaker 1: Yeah, he's right in the neighborhood as well.
- 55:52Speaker 6: Yeah, I see him all the time.
- 55:54Speaker 1: He didn't come over to play secret hitler.
- 55:55Speaker 6: No, I've thrown him a couple invites, but he you know,
- 55:58Speaker 6: he's too big of a deal. He's a home buddy
- 56:01Speaker 6: and and I do see him every once in a while,
- 56:03Speaker 6: and I almost always used to say hi, but he's
- 56:10Speaker 6: always got headphones in and he is often with his
- 56:14Speaker 6: family and and you know his reactions. It was it
- 56:17Speaker 6: was so clear because he probably gets accosted a lot,
- 56:23Speaker 6: and this is his private life.
- 56:25Speaker 1: Yeah, I've seen him on the street before. And I'll
- 56:26Speaker 1: even be like Big Cat until he and until he
- 56:28Speaker 1: realizes exactly who it is, just like give like a
- 56:30Speaker 1: half like a wave type yeah, and.
- 56:32Speaker 6: And I don't want to bug him, nor do I
- 56:35Speaker 6: want the shame of feeling like a fan.
- 56:38Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 56:39Speaker 6: Oh yeah, that's why I'm always like Dan Dan Cats.
- 56:43Speaker 3: Former colleague, how are you?
- 56:47Speaker 1: Yeah, it's the only way to kind of because if
- 56:50Speaker 1: you wave to somebody. Dude, this happened to me. I
- 56:52Speaker 1: saw Jake Cole recently. I was on a bike. I
- 56:54Speaker 1: saw Jake Cole, and I fuck it. I was like, oh,
- 56:56Speaker 1: I gave him a big wave and he just looked
- 56:58Speaker 1: dead the other way.
- 56:59Speaker 4: Dude, he gave me.
- 57:00Speaker 3: Know.
- 57:01Speaker 1: Jake Cole like two weeks ago, biking home. He was
- 57:03Speaker 1: in like the fucking uh it was in like Chelsea
- 57:06Speaker 1: or like West Village was biking. He was biking.
- 57:09Speaker 3: That's cool.
- 57:09Speaker 1: He bikes everywhere.
- 57:10Speaker 4: I saw Andrew Schultz biking a couple of weeks ago.
- 57:12Speaker 3: Dude.
- 57:12Speaker 1: By the way, his special. I was watching special this morning.
- 57:15Speaker 1: It just came out like yesterday, So fucking good. Two
- 57:18Speaker 1: great things came out this week, Andrew Schultz's special and
- 57:22Speaker 1: Nathan Fielder's new show. Did you watch it?
- 57:25Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 57:26Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't.
- 57:27Speaker 1: It's so good. He's just a fucking sick, twisted bastard.
- 57:31Speaker 1: He's just fucking out of his goddamn mind, which you
- 57:35Speaker 1: know you gotta respect this with.
- 57:36Speaker 3: Schultz, though Schultz any nasty jokes and Schultz's special, what
- 57:40Speaker 3: do you mean? Well, he said that he had to
- 57:42Speaker 3: key they wanted to cut jokes. Uh, you think that's
- 57:45Speaker 3: true or now.
- 57:46Speaker 1: I think, well didn't. It was supposed to be on
- 57:48Speaker 1: Netflix and then he just said, I'm gonna sell it myself.
- 57:50Speaker 1: I'll buy anybody's ship if I like funk with you,
- 57:52Speaker 1: like I bought it and even forgot to watch it.
- 57:55Speaker 1: I bought it last night. I was gonna watch it, like,
- 57:56Speaker 1: I'll just support anybody who's like But I think what
- 57:59Speaker 1: was h Louise was like ten bucks something like that,
- 58:03Speaker 1: and now his is fifteen, like fifteen fifteen, fifteen for
- 58:07Speaker 1: one time, used for an hour, But he's no, No,
- 58:09Speaker 1: I think you own it or it's like fifteen. I
- 58:11Speaker 1: think it's like a fifteen day lease of it or
- 58:13Speaker 1: something like that. I don't know if you own it.
- 58:15Speaker 1: I think you get to watch it for like fourteen
- 58:16Speaker 1: fifteen or fourteen days crazy like that. But I'll support anybody.
- 58:20Speaker 1: But I thought it was just like pretty much in
- 58:21Speaker 1: line with the rest of his comedy. I thought it
- 58:23Speaker 1: was just like, this is just a ton of shit.
- 58:25Speaker 1: It wasn't that like on the pail a lot of bras, Yeah.
- 58:28Speaker 4: Talking about BRU.
- 58:29Speaker 1: And also he knows every ethnic group. He just knows ethnic.
- 58:32Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I saw your musclim Yeah I saw that. Yeah.
- 58:37Speaker 6: I rented Marry Me with Jennifer Lopez and Owen Wilson
- 58:41Speaker 6: and meant to watch it. But as soon as you
- 58:45Speaker 6: sort of hit play for even a second, right, it says,
- 58:47Speaker 6: get off of it. It was like the thirty day
- 58:49Speaker 6: rental period has begun, and every day I would get
- 58:51Speaker 6: a notification from like Apple being like, you have twenty
- 58:54Speaker 6: eight days left to watch it. And by the last
- 58:57Speaker 6: day I tried to force myself off to watch it,
- 59:01Speaker 6: just out.
- 59:01Speaker 1: Of because you, I mean, you wasted. I mean it's
- 59:03Speaker 1: sun costs four, Well watch it.
- 59:06Speaker 6: And I couldn't even get through it. I thought it
- 59:09Speaker 6: was so bad. But she just got married again to
- 59:11Speaker 6: Ben Affleck.
- 59:11Speaker 1: I know, I can't believe it. What is uh?
- 59:13Speaker 3: What made you buy it?
- 59:14Speaker 4: Though?
- 59:15Speaker 1: Was it for you? It wasn't a little rom com.
- 59:17Speaker 6: I was looking for something light hearted. I was traveling.
- 59:19Speaker 6: I wanted something a little light hearted.
- 59:21Speaker 3: I love a rom com and.
- 59:22Speaker 6: It got good marks on Rotten Tomatoes, But boy, it
- 59:24Speaker 6: was just were you gonna watch it alone?
- 59:26Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 59:26Speaker 6: I was then watching it on a plane, you know what.
- 59:28Speaker 6: I was gonna watch it on a plane because the
- 59:30Speaker 6: last movie I watched on a plane was Jackass three,
- 59:32Speaker 6: and there was so much.
- 59:33Speaker 3: The new one.
- 59:33Speaker 1: Yeah, a ton of penis.
- 59:34Speaker 6: It's so much dick in it that I kept having
- 59:36Speaker 6: to like.
- 59:37Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, just throw my whole hand over.
- 59:41Speaker 6: Yeah, it's just censoring myself.
- 59:42Speaker 1: It is a little bit too much penis to throw
- 59:44Speaker 1: up on a screen. But they don't care anymore. On
- 59:46Speaker 1: planes have the full nudity.
- 59:48Speaker 3: They do give you a warning if there's a plane
- 59:50Speaker 3: crash in the movie though we were on that really, yes, really,
- 59:54Speaker 3: I didn't know that.
- 59:54Speaker 1: What was watching a flight ninety three movie on a plane?
- 59:57Speaker 3: No? I watched World War Z on a plane, as
- 1:00:01Speaker 3: a plane crash in that scene there.
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: I cannot watch a wrong con though. I just can't
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: watch by myself.
- 1:00:07Speaker 3: I've been watching. I'm not going through a big war movie. Kick. Yeah,
- 1:00:11Speaker 3: just like I'll watch even if it's like even it
- 1:00:13Speaker 3: gets like a five out of ten, I'll watch it.
- 1:00:15Speaker 3: I'll just eat it up. I said this, Yeah, but
- 1:00:18Speaker 3: it's it's still going. It's back, it's back fully. I
- 1:00:22Speaker 3: love like the banter that the war guys have because
- 1:00:24Speaker 3: it's just so cringey. What do you mean, like the
- 1:00:27Speaker 3: little the small talk jokes that they make. They're like,
- 1:00:29Speaker 3: welcome to Paradise. It is everywhere? Which way is the
- 1:00:35Speaker 3: ritz Carlton?
- 1:00:36Speaker 6: It is every movie?
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: Yes, like that, dude. And they've been making good ass
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: war movies for a long time before they could even
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: like people who watched war movies before there were special
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: effects or like a special kind of stupid like that,
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: they were just watching like just there there would be
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: like an explosion and like it would just be someone
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: like flipping like that. You couldn't even simulate body parts flying.
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: What was the first movie where there was like gnarly
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: special effects?
- 1:01:01Speaker 3: I actually looked down.
- 1:01:02Speaker 6: I actually have the answer for this one.
- 1:01:03Speaker 3: What is it? So? Well?
- 1:01:06Speaker 6: You go back to nineteen twenty seven, right, silent films,
- 1:01:09Speaker 6: right on the eve of the transition to talkies as
- 1:01:13Speaker 6: they called them. Al Jolson's The Jazz Singer, And there
- 1:01:15Speaker 6: was a movie called Wings that came out and it
- 1:01:18Speaker 6: was the first people were at this point in America
- 1:01:22Speaker 6: and Europe were obsessed with air travel. Lindberg had just
- 1:01:26Speaker 6: crossed the Atlantic. He's the most famous person on the planet,
- 1:01:30Speaker 6: and they were in Europe was by ahead of us
- 1:01:33Speaker 6: in many ways in terms of travel by air, And
- 1:01:38Speaker 6: they made a movie called Wings, which was about you know,
- 1:01:41Speaker 6: it was like war and planes in war, because you know,
- 1:01:45Speaker 6: there'd been some pretty rudimentary planes in World War One,
- 1:01:48Speaker 6: and I think it was set in that time. But
- 1:01:50Speaker 6: this was the first movie that would that affixed cameras
- 1:01:55Speaker 6: to an actual plane and had them like facing the pilot.
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: And twenty seven they were doing it, and it was.
- 1:02:02Speaker 6: So realistic in such a departure from the crappy way
- 1:02:06Speaker 6: that like before that.
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure that they probably lynched the director of it,
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: like this fucking witch.
- 1:02:10Speaker 6: Yeah, but I'm sure they were using like little toy
- 1:02:14Speaker 6: you know, small versions of planes, yeah, to to simulate
- 1:02:18Speaker 6: those scenes. And this was the first one they were
- 1:02:20Speaker 6: actually in the air, and it was so dramatic that
- 1:02:23Speaker 6: people were fainting left and right, like when they went
- 1:02:26Speaker 6: to these movies. Yeah, I could see the movie.
- 1:02:27Speaker 3: So that's awesome. It makes sense, especially if you've never
- 1:02:30Speaker 3: imagined that you never had flown before, and you see
- 1:02:33Speaker 3: that movie. I know and nobody and nobody who's no footage,
- 1:02:36Speaker 3: there's no footage of planes flying.
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: The amount of trust that they put in on early
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: flights at what percent flitting? Were people crashing on and
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: dying in early flights because everybody were half of people
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: dying constantly.
- 1:02:48Speaker 6: What the one was so fucked up was in the
- 1:02:50Speaker 6: race to see who could cross the Atlantic first. Uh,
- 1:02:54Speaker 6: you know, there were a whole bunch of people who
- 1:02:55Speaker 6: had tried, and they just if you you there was
- 1:02:58Speaker 6: like it was all or nothing. You either or you died,
- 1:03:02Speaker 6: just disappeared in the Atlantic and we're never seen up.
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: Because I'm pretty sure there's still no radar over the
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: Atlantic for the regular flights that are going back and forth.
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: I'm almost positive there's no radar over the Atlantic, right,
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: What do you mean there's not radar over the Atlantic?
- 1:03:18Speaker 4: I don't think that's true.
- 1:03:20Speaker 3: What do you mean no radar?
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: You're thinking radar?
- 1:03:22Speaker 3: You're thinking of Malaysia? Yeah, yeah, you're thinking about what
- 1:03:25Speaker 3: do you mean when you're saying radar.
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: That there's no radar?
- 1:03:27Speaker 3: Pretty Atlantic spit out?
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: Planes don't have radar, there's no radar?
- 1:03:32Speaker 4: What do you mean up?
- 1:03:35Speaker 3: Why does it go dark?
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: There's no radar over the Atlantic.
- 1:03:38Speaker 3: Dude, Like everywhere that a plane flies.
- 1:03:42Speaker 6: Is it because they're too far from land, so they're
- 1:03:44Speaker 6: out of the reach of radar from land.
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: I'm gonna do an ad and ohen, do you mind
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: just looking up if there's radar over the Atlantic?
- 1:03:53Speaker 3: Questions about radar over the Atlantic?
- 1:03:56Speaker 6: So ya, exactly, that's probably right exactly in.
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: Runs, yeah, exactly if there's no articles about it. No,
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: my my dad told my wife this recently, and she's
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: been chewing fucking xanax down ever since. It was right
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: before our flight, and she looked it up and she's
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: been telling everybody. I'm just regurgitating the facts that have
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: been regurgitated to me.
- 1:04:17Speaker 6: You know it's bad. If she's chewing the xana.
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: She's pounding it out and snorting it off of her
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: tray and right at they're Delta rewards.
- 1:04:26Speaker 7: I'm not going back to college to be your friend.
- 1:04:28Speaker 7: I'm going so I can get Uber one for students.
- 1:04:31Speaker 7: It saves you on Uber and Uber Eats. I'm there
- 1:04:34Speaker 7: for zero dollar delivery fe on cheeseburgers, up to ten
- 1:04:37Speaker 7: percent off smoothies and six percent Uber credits back on rides.
- 1:04:41Speaker 7: Just to be clear, I'm there for savings, not whatever
- 1:04:44Speaker 7: you think college is.
- 1:04:45Speaker 6: For Get Uber one for students, a membership to save
- 1:04:48Speaker 6: on Uber and Uber eats.
- 1:04:49Speaker 4: With deals this good.
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: Everyone wants to be a student joined for just four
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: ninety nine a month.
- 1:04:53Speaker 6: Savings may very eligibility and member terms apply.
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: Game time, last minute tickets, lowest price guaranteed. Let's talk
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: about your dependence to drugs.
- 1:05:03Speaker 3: Oh no, no, I was gonna say, because Owen brought up
- 1:05:05Speaker 3: the hulk zanxes. You guys know what those are? No,
- 1:05:08Speaker 3: the big ones, those aren't. Those are made by people, right,
- 1:05:12Speaker 3: Like those are pill pressed by like a drug dealer,
- 1:05:15Speaker 3: right Like? Doctors don't prescribe you a hulk zannax. Try some,
- 1:05:22Speaker 3: because my I had this argument with my friends and
- 1:05:24Speaker 3: they were like, no, like they exist, like the doctors
- 1:05:26Speaker 3: make them. They just don't like they're don't they don't
- 1:05:27Speaker 3: obviously don't call them hulks anexes. But I'm like, I
- 1:05:29Speaker 3: don't think they would make their like three times the
- 1:05:33Speaker 3: size of a normal xanax.
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: Did doctors call them footballs and bananas too?
- 1:05:37Speaker 3: I don't know?
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: Are they just those just street names.
- 1:05:40Speaker 3: I mean, I think it's just they're just pill pressed.
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: We're gonna put you on fifteen sticks, they're green, We're
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: going to put you in a handful of sticks. Chew
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: these up.
- 1:05:49Speaker 4: Annex never really did it for me, to be honest.
- 1:05:51Speaker 6: I tried it for flying a couple of times, and
- 1:05:53Speaker 6: I would wake up so groggy that I just couldn't
- 1:05:56Speaker 6: fucking handle it.
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: It comes down to that everybody on the plane is
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: scared of for the most part, not me. Yeah, and
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: just some people have access to hard drugs, some people
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: have fucking psychiatrists that trust them enough to give them
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: hard drugs, and everybody else's label drug seeking.
- 1:06:11Speaker 6: You mentioned that he couldn't afford Yankees tickets, so I
- 1:06:15Speaker 6: know this has probably been beaten to death here, but
- 1:06:18Speaker 6: I am so curious what the number was that you
- 1:06:22Speaker 6: asked for for your race.
- 1:06:24Speaker 4: Oh. I would never say.
- 1:06:25Speaker 3: Oh you wouldn't no, Oh, okay, I want me to
- 1:06:27Speaker 3: say no, you.
- 1:06:28Speaker 4: Don't even know.
- 1:06:30Speaker 3: All I will say is that what I asked for.
- 1:06:32Speaker 3: Roan told me to ask for like one hundred thousand
- 1:06:35Speaker 3: more than that and was being one and was being
- 1:06:37Speaker 3: fully serious.
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:06:39Speaker 3: Yeah, but he's he's like that. I don't think he
- 1:06:41Speaker 3: understands how much money that everyone else he makes compared
- 1:06:44Speaker 3: to him.
- 1:06:44Speaker 6: He likes to gas people up and then just step
- 1:06:47Speaker 6: back and watch.
- 1:06:48Speaker 3: I was. I was like, yo, dude, he said no,
- 1:06:50Speaker 3: and Rome was like I don't know.
- 1:06:51Speaker 6: Yeah, he'd be the guy at the Hindenburg being like, no, no,
- 1:06:55Speaker 6: you can take more yeah, more gas. Yeah, guess it.
- 1:06:57Speaker 3: Up, dude.
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: But well, in reality, the only thing that they could say,
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: the worst thing that they could say is no.
- 1:07:02Speaker 3: And then go on a podcast.
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: Yeah, and they did that, and they did the worst
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: thing that was again, but the worst that they could
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: say is no.
- 1:07:10Speaker 3: Dave was like, yeah, I mean you talked about it
- 1:07:11Speaker 3: on the yak and like I bear, I said, I
- 1:07:13Speaker 3: didn't get a raise. Dave like it was so much different.
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: Yeah, he let you the fuck up.
- 1:07:19Speaker 3: But he said it was the most delusional ass he's
- 1:07:22Speaker 3: ever had in twenty years of running the company. It
- 1:07:26Speaker 3: is funniest, but I do I didn't even like what
- 1:07:29Speaker 3: I asked for. Would not like you would be like, oh,
- 1:07:31Speaker 3: that was it. He's prone to hyperble, Yeah, like that's it. Really,
- 1:07:34Speaker 3: it wasn't that much, okay, So for people think I
- 1:07:36Speaker 3: asked for like half a million dollars and it was
- 1:07:38Speaker 3: half of that. No, it was it was less than
- 1:07:42Speaker 3: it was less than half of that. It was less
- 1:07:44Speaker 3: than half.
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: What I told him was half. So he wanted one
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: fifty and I told him to fifty. And it could
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: have been a negotiating thing.
- 1:07:51Speaker 3: He was I'm talking, was just a strict no. Well
- 1:07:54Speaker 3: if that's if that is the neighborhood, then you're not.
- 1:07:56Speaker 3: I was so confident I was going. I was like no,
- 1:07:58Speaker 3: I was like, that's in the fucking bad dude.
- 1:08:00Speaker 6: So I had a contract or not like a raised thing.
- 1:08:04Speaker 6: I went in, which is really scary, by the way.
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: It's very scary, especially I mean, well you were you
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: representing yourself at the time. Yeah.
- 1:08:11Speaker 6: Yeah, It's just I just went in and I was like,
- 1:08:13Speaker 6: all right, I've added so many things more that I'm
- 1:08:18Speaker 6: now doing, which is the.
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: Way to do it. Is like, if you want a
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: negotiation being like.
- 1:08:22Speaker 3: That, I just did it.
- 1:08:23Speaker 6: I was just my workload went up by like fucking
- 1:08:27Speaker 6: six more hours a day, if not more.
- 1:08:30Speaker 3: And I went in and I.
- 1:08:31Speaker 6: Was like, I, you know, wondering if you'd be open
- 1:08:33Speaker 6: to give me a raise or whatever. And he's like Okay, well,
- 1:08:35Speaker 6: I'll talk to Erica, and you know, what were you thinking?
- 1:08:39Speaker 6: And I said a number. I think I said one
- 1:08:42Speaker 6: twenty five because I think I was making seventy five
- 1:08:45Speaker 6: and I asked for one twenty five and he said, okay,
- 1:08:47Speaker 6: I'll talk to Erica, and they came back and gave
- 1:08:50Speaker 6: me higher than that.
- 1:08:53Speaker 3: So so see to go and ask for less.
- 1:08:56Speaker 6: But look at how that worked out for me. I mean,
- 1:08:58Speaker 6: it's like the opposite thing happened to you and you're
- 1:09:01Speaker 6: still here. So you're doing better than I was.
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: Well, he just found out how much you were making,
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: so he knows he's not doing that you were.
- 1:09:11Speaker 3: Yeah, but uh, it's I don't really care anymore. Like
- 1:09:14Speaker 3: I I got it, and you're making all this, I
- 1:09:16Speaker 3: don't care about money anymore.
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: You're making insane money doing stand up laughably insane money.
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: But it is it shows that like they they can,
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: like they they will, like just give you a fucking.
- 1:09:26Speaker 3: Ton of money, right, It just it becomes it will
- 1:09:29Speaker 3: becomes some money, especially like somewhere like this, it becomes
- 1:09:31Speaker 3: because everyone's so narcissistic and like ego maniacs here that
- 1:09:35Speaker 3: it's like you get so invested you're like, wait, wait,
- 1:09:38Speaker 3: they're making this much. It's camping you up. And now
- 1:09:41Speaker 3: you're like that that can't be true. That's not possible
- 1:09:46Speaker 3: people up at night. Yeah, And then I was then actually,
- 1:09:48Speaker 3: it actually like was beneficial getting to neither Race Kelly
- 1:09:52Speaker 3: and Vegas is making two million dollars a year. It's
- 1:09:54Speaker 3: always like it's always like someone who doesn't work at
- 1:09:56Speaker 3: the office, and yo, did you know they're making fucking
- 1:09:58Speaker 3: eight figures a year? You know they're paying gold.
- 1:10:02Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:10:02Speaker 3: Yeah, and then like it actually, like Carravas is on
- 1:10:05Speaker 3: the Red Sox, Yeah, yeah, it was extremely beneficial for
- 1:10:10Speaker 3: mental health getting denied the rays because I was what,
- 1:10:13Speaker 3: I was pissed about it for like a month, and
- 1:10:14Speaker 3: then I just like stopped thinking about it. I was like, okay,
- 1:10:17Speaker 3: I'm not getting a raise.
- 1:10:18Speaker 4: They sent you to rock bottom. Yeah, and now I'm like, no,
- 1:10:21Speaker 4: now I'm chilling.
- 1:10:22Speaker 6: Speaking of stand up, I think that would be a
- 1:10:24Speaker 6: good time to just mention that, actually, Sassin I are
- 1:10:27Speaker 6: going on a little bit of a mini tour. We're
- 1:10:29Speaker 6: calling it France As. That's incredible. It's like Francis, but
- 1:10:32Speaker 6: Francis very creative. We'll be in we'll be in Saint Louis.
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: It's like Frannie does China. It's like your naming is
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: just combining the names one.
- 1:10:40Speaker 6: Trick ye, uh and uh and uh. We'll be in
- 1:10:45Speaker 6: Saint Louis at Helium July twenty eighth to the thirtieth,
- 1:10:49Speaker 6: and then we're going to be in Red Bank, New
- 1:10:51Speaker 6: Jersey on August tenth. I believe we're gonna be in
- 1:10:54Speaker 6: Jersey City on August fourth, So come come to some
- 1:10:57Speaker 6: of those shows. You can get tickets for that at
- 1:10:59Speaker 6: Francis elste Calm. Yes, that's all I'm gonna say about that.
- 1:11:02Speaker 6: Maybe at the end of the show, I'll do it again.
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: Facts.
- 1:11:03Speaker 3: Who was the I'm also gonna plug I'm gonna be
- 1:11:05Speaker 3: in Philly tomorrow in the tickets, yes, said and Wednesday,

- 1:11:12Speaker 3: are going to sell out, but buyer tickets, yes Helium, Helium.
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: Wait, who made that dumb ass that that uh flyer
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: for you guys? That was Do you know which one
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: I was going about?
- 1:11:24Speaker 3: No?
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: No, no, the one that was just like an Instagram Uh.
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: It just said like.
- 1:11:31Speaker 6: Did you see this?
- 1:11:31Speaker 3: It was literally just New Jersey and then a picture
- 1:11:33Speaker 3: of us, and it was like an ad. They were
- 1:11:35Speaker 3: Oh no, I did not. I sent you. I have
- 1:11:38Speaker 3: this pulled up.
- 1:11:39Speaker 6: I sent you something.
- 1:11:39Speaker 4: Look at this. This is the ad that they were running.
- 1:11:43Speaker 3: Oh god, it's just I can't show it to the camera,
- 1:11:48Speaker 3: but it just on screen. It just says New Jersey
- 1:11:50Speaker 3: exclamation point, which is a picture of.
- 1:11:54Speaker 6: Welcome to the guy.
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: You guys, and the place that is where it is
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: going to be.
- 1:12:00Speaker 3: We're gonna have no idea what that means.
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: How did you guys link up? Do you think it
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: was just like both worked at barstore. It's kind of
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: similar sense as of humor or how to be link up.
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: We were doing shows together.
- 1:12:11Speaker 6: We started seeing each other the stand a lot.
- 1:12:13Speaker 3: Yeah, and then I opened for him at Gotham.
- 1:12:15Speaker 6: Got It, and then for him at the Bell House.
- 1:12:18Speaker 6: Was it the Bell House?
- 1:12:19Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:12:20Speaker 6: Yeah, and we you know, I thought like we might
- 1:12:23Speaker 6: as well combine forces because obviously, you know, we're testing
- 1:12:27Speaker 6: the waters here. But we like each other, and I think,
- 1:12:30Speaker 6: you know, when you're on the road, there's a lot
- 1:12:32Speaker 6: of downtime. It's nice to have someone to have breakfast with.
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: You need to get breakfast with someone. Yeah, but he
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: gets ship faced on the road and can't live life
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: without drinking. And you obviously look at your body, you
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: obviously don't drink that much. I thought, throwing back, thrown back,
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: but it's not.
- 1:12:46Speaker 3: I'm back on the gym. I'm back on the gym. Grind,
- 1:12:48Speaker 3: are you? Yeah? Yesterday it's my first day back going again.
- 1:12:51Speaker 3: Today I'm doing the KB math and KB was just like, dude, like,
- 1:12:54Speaker 3: I just go to the gym every day and I
- 1:12:55Speaker 3: just do whatever I feel like doing. Is I don't
- 1:12:56Speaker 3: really like, I'm not like all I need to do legacy.
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: So you're gonna check yourself and knock him back for.
- 1:13:03Speaker 3: The six months, chick, I don't give a fuck.
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: That's the dream. You should let Francis train you.
- 1:13:11Speaker 3: No, I don't want to. I don't want a trainer.
- 1:13:12Speaker 3: I want to just do. I just want to go
- 1:13:14Speaker 3: and have a good time and make sure I keep going.
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: Francis, why don't you ever come to solid core?
- 1:13:17Speaker 4: Dude?
- 1:13:18Speaker 6: Oh that's a that's the funny thing. You say that
- 1:13:21Speaker 6: because we, uh my fiance was there and you guys,
- 1:13:24Speaker 6: you and your wife were there. Yeah, I saw I
- 1:13:27Speaker 6: think they Yeah, I think both signs were like is
- 1:13:29Speaker 6: that them? And she said that you guys were wearing masks.
- 1:13:33Speaker 3: No, is that right? Do you wear masks? That's a
- 1:13:37Speaker 3: solid core that we had COVID. You can't be super
- 1:13:44Speaker 3: spreading solid for you. We were wearing masks.
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: We were super spreading.
- 1:13:49Speaker 3: That's crazy. We're going to cancel your ass. Guys name
- 1:13:53Speaker 3: from the Daily Beast, I want to email him.
- 1:13:55Speaker 4: That always pedophile ass, Michael Jackson at the Daily Beast.
- 1:13:59Speaker 6: Little Boys and Girls dot Com.
- 1:14:00Speaker 3: I don't know, yeah, something like that.
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: I think it was in like the test, like done
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: with it, but testing that one of them.
- 1:14:07Speaker 6: I was like, I don't think they're the types of
- 1:14:09Speaker 6: people who.
- 1:14:10Speaker 3: Would We're not pussies, dude, We're not pussies.
- 1:14:12Speaker 6: Well, like who would go to a group fitness class
- 1:14:15Speaker 6: but to be fearful of everyone there and therefore wear masks.
- 1:14:19Speaker 3: Wearing masks while going to the gym was like the
- 1:14:22Speaker 3: must thing. Like you would you would be in like
- 1:14:24Speaker 3: your mask would be like wet.
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: But when I would do a solid core, I would
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: feel like I was altitude training. I would like to
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: take that mask that kind of a fresh big ass
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: if it felt strong, solid.
- 1:14:35Speaker 6: No joke, man, have you ever got that? She brought
- 1:14:37Speaker 6: me one.
- 1:14:38Speaker 3: Why don't you come through more? I want to come
- 1:14:40Speaker 3: on more? It all together.
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: I was there this morning.
- 1:14:42Speaker 3: I think, I, what is it? What do you do?
- 1:14:44Speaker 3: You do every day?
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: I do it like like three days a week.
- 1:14:47Speaker 6: That's so nuts, So that means you're good at it.
- 1:14:50Speaker 6: I'm not. It's really hard.
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: It is hard, but you're in better shape, so it's
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: like you still will be able to do it.
- 1:14:55Speaker 6: But it's such a specific set of muscles, and I
- 1:14:57Speaker 6: don't really work on those a lot. Really, Yeah, it's
- 1:14:59Speaker 6: all all your man. I don't have that.
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: Yeah, you have glamor muscles though, glamor muscles below.
- 1:15:04Speaker 6: I kind of do what KB does. I go to
- 1:15:06Speaker 6: the gym and I'm like, what what needs punishment today?
- 1:15:10Speaker 3: That?
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: Just blast your ass?
- 1:15:12Speaker 6: Just do a bunch of squats, see something, and I
- 1:15:14Speaker 6: and I work on it. Speaking of by the way,
- 1:15:16Speaker 6: you know, it's you know, it's really fascinating to me
- 1:15:18Speaker 6: right now. Is this Brittany Grinder situation? Have you guys
- 1:15:21Speaker 6: talked about that?
- 1:15:21Speaker 3: No? Never, you know Brittany Grinder.
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: Nope, he doesn't know any fat dude, he doesn't know.
- 1:15:25Speaker 3: Oh is this a girl that's in prison? Yeah, she's
- 1:15:27Speaker 3: in Russia. Yea, yea yeah, yeah, she's a w NBA
- 1:15:30Speaker 3: bitch star, one of the best ever. No, you know
- 1:15:33Speaker 3: what really gets me going about that is the people
- 1:15:35Speaker 3: who are like, shouldn't have brought the fucking drugs to this,
- 1:15:37Speaker 3: Like people that are in America, like, shouldn't have brought
- 1:15:39Speaker 3: in drugs to an illegal drugs like country. It's like, dude,
- 1:15:43Speaker 3: kill yourself. Yeah, Like did you really think she should
- 1:15:46Speaker 3: be in Russian prison because she brought a dab pen?
- 1:15:50Speaker 3: It's like these dudes, like if you look under like
- 1:15:52Speaker 3: anytime like ESPN or any like sports company posts about it,
- 1:15:55Speaker 3: all the comments are like, geall what she deserved. It's
- 1:15:59Speaker 3: like it because you hate women and you hate to
- 1:16:01Speaker 3: that WNBA. You think she should be in prison?
- 1:16:04Speaker 4: Why what's your take on it?
- 1:16:06Speaker 3: Well, you're try and top that.
- 1:16:08Speaker 6: I mean, she you know, it's like she's like six
- 1:16:11Speaker 6: five is six eight and can show six eight. It's like,
- 1:16:16Speaker 6: shouldn't she escape?
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:16:19Speaker 3: Like am I wrong about that?
- 1:16:20Speaker 2: Like?
- 1:16:21Speaker 3: Can't she escape?
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: She should be stronger? And Barrell, this is the best.
- 1:16:26Speaker 6: If Lebron were in prison over there, we'd be like, Oh,
- 1:16:28Speaker 6: he's gonna be fine, He'll be home soon.
- 1:16:29Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly.
- 1:16:31Speaker 6: I have no doubt that this woman is the best
- 1:16:34Speaker 6: we've got.
- 1:16:34Speaker 4: How have we not freed her in prison?
- 1:16:37Speaker 6: Who and I would think could just certainly fight her
- 1:16:40Speaker 6: way out.
- 1:16:41Speaker 3: But basketball players can't fight.
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: Really, there's w NBA players they can fight better than
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: NBA players. These are tough bitches. I saw a basketball
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: clip this past weekend of a w NBA woman like
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: trying to fight another WNBA woman, as if they were
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: fucking big strong men and they were gonna fight each
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: other right at A.
- 1:17:00Speaker 6: There's no g league for the w n B A.
- 1:17:02Speaker 6: It's just federal prison. All those girls are picked.
- 1:17:05Speaker 3: Off the yard.
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: It's like the longest yard, that's what it is.
- 1:17:09Speaker 6: They go to Yukon, then they go to the yard,
- 1:17:12Speaker 6: and then they go to the sparks.
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: I mean, imagine how good she's gonna be when she
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: gets out of Russian prison. Oh yeah, how fucking tough
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: she's trained there, she iss in the yard. She's just
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: gonna be fucking absolutely yoked.
- 1:17:25Speaker 3: Yeah, what is going on that we haven't gotten her
- 1:17:27Speaker 3: out yet?
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: Though nobody cares.
- 1:17:29Speaker 6: Is something to be done? You know, I'm sure that
- 1:17:31Speaker 6: Plutin would be asking for like some prisoner that we
- 1:17:34Speaker 6: have of theirs.
- 1:17:35Speaker 4: So let's just give him.
- 1:17:36Speaker 3: Let's just give it to him.
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: I mean, remember when Trump was tweeting about like asap Rocky.
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: He's like asap Rocky and.
- 1:17:40Speaker 4: He's got a rocky out, didn't he?
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: Yeah he did back out too, I think he did.
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: He got he freed the bros.
- 1:17:46Speaker 3: Yeah, but actually back in prison.
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: Yeah, Britney Grinder, this was interesting.
- 1:17:52Speaker 3: They got they caught Kodak with thirty pills of oxy cotton.
- 1:17:56Speaker 3: How do you get caught with like, how do you
- 1:17:58Speaker 3: put it in your pants or something? Thirty pills?
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: Just take them off the hulks, probably the hulks.
- 1:18:07Speaker 3: I don't really get how you get caught with pills.
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: Yeah, just say that they're like just put them in
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: a regular pill bottle, Like who is going through pillbottles?
- 1:18:14Speaker 3: And being like, well, yeah, why why would they be
- 1:18:15Speaker 3: going through pill But I mean, I guess I don't
- 1:18:17Speaker 3: know A hundred times too.
- 1:18:20Speaker 6: I bet was it who you said it was? Kodak Black?
- 1:18:22Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:18:23Speaker 6: My guess is that even if he had put them
- 1:18:25Speaker 6: in his pants, they would have fallen out the pant, Like, yeah,
- 1:18:28Speaker 6: those are the types of pants.
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: That's not that here's a wide, a gaucho perhaps, botut,
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: where's a boot cut?
- 1:18:34Speaker 3: He's been to prison like ten times.
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: He was probably wearing some All Birds honestly back, Oh wait,

- 1:19:32Speaker 3: Yeah you are dude.
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: That was the least you could do.
- 1:19:34Speaker 6: Proving that even though I'm in a wheelchair, I can
- 1:19:37Speaker 6: still be a good Asian.
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: Yeah you can, dude, And you hooked it up for us.
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: It was really an incredible mits for that you gave
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: to us. What are you about the are you? You
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: said you're going down. You're going to Philly as well?
- 1:19:48Speaker 6: I'm going tonight. Mccuskart.
- 1:19:50Speaker 3: Do you know he?
- 1:19:51Speaker 6: Yeah, does Matt and Chain's Secret podcast. He does a
- 1:19:55Speaker 6: like a Monday show at Helium that's like working on
- 1:19:57Speaker 6: new jokes.
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: They talk about some who's richest. Fuck now, dude, he's
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: richest killing tonight?
- 1:20:04Speaker 3: Yeah? Oh damn, you want to go? I would love to,
- 1:20:08Speaker 3: but I can't.
- 1:20:09Speaker 4: He's not allowed in Philly without me.
- 1:20:11Speaker 6: Oh that's right, you're going. You're going next week?
- 1:20:13Speaker 3: Now, I'm going tomorrow. Are you're going tomorrow and then Wednesday? Nice? Yeah,
- 1:20:16Speaker 3: I'm I'm.
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: Gonna be as little chaperone around Philly.
- 1:20:19Speaker 6: It's an easy trip. You're going down.
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: I might go down for one of his shows.
- 1:20:24Speaker 3: I can't promote it as that though. Then people are
- 1:20:26Speaker 3: gonna be like, Yo, where the fuck was wrong? When
- 1:20:29Speaker 3: you inevitably don't come?
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: Yeah, call me on one of his shows and I
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: just started saying hard slurs into the phone, so we
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: had to hang up real quick.
- 1:20:38Speaker 3: I'm excited for this. This is gonna be fun because
- 1:20:40Speaker 3: I think, uh no, because I think like my Arlington shows,
- 1:20:44Speaker 3: I was like really really nervous and I got really
- 1:20:47Speaker 3: drunk and a mistake. Yeah that's a battle. Yeah, that's
- 1:20:50Speaker 3: a battle. I was odd stage. Just Oh, this is
- 1:20:55Speaker 3: what I'm gonna take it nice and easy.
- 1:20:57Speaker 6: I'm going I'm going to Arlington this weekend. I'm doing
- 1:20:59Speaker 6: Draft House.
- 1:20:59Speaker 4: Yeah, they'll be fun.
- 1:21:00Speaker 3: I like that place.
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: Have you ever struggled with, uh with getting super fucked
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: up before a bunch of your shows or did you
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: keep it pretty pretty close to the to the chest.
- 1:21:08Speaker 6: You know, if I'm doing if it's my show, I
- 1:21:12Speaker 6: can't I if I can because it's too much time.
- 1:21:15Speaker 6: What do you mean if I'm headlining and I have
- 1:21:17Speaker 6: to do fifty minutes or something, so well, I don't know.
- 1:21:21Speaker 3: I just I would be, I would be. I can't.
- 1:21:24Speaker 6: I can't fake. I can't flounder for fifty minutes. It's
- 1:21:27Speaker 6: too long.
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: Uh.
- 1:21:29Speaker 6: You start to see people in the audience who are
- 1:21:31Speaker 6: like getting edgy and you know, a little bit fidgety
- 1:21:35Speaker 6: because they're like this fucking sucks. Can we leave? And
- 1:21:38Speaker 6: then you're like, oh god, what have I done?
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: You know what I mean?
- 1:21:41Speaker 6: I just you start to feel it, So I don't know.
- 1:21:44Speaker 6: I'd like, I have no problem bombing sober, you know,
- 1:21:48Speaker 6: because then I'm like, yeah, I just sucked.
- 1:21:50Speaker 3: It was my fault. I tried.
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: But if you bomb fucked up, it's like, ah, if
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: I hadn't got fucked up, it might be due to
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: my board, what life decisions.
- 1:21:57Speaker 6: If I bomb fucked up, I feel ashamed, and I'm like,
- 1:22:00Speaker 6: I cheated these people out of what they paid for
- 1:22:03Speaker 6: I bombed.
- 1:22:04Speaker 3: H I don't really drink much before. I'll have like
- 1:22:07Speaker 3: a beer or two before I go up now, but
- 1:22:08Speaker 3: I don't do what I when I used to do.
- 1:22:10Speaker 3: What I used to do is I would just like,
- 1:22:11Speaker 3: I mean, this is not even longer. It was like
- 1:22:12Speaker 3: a month ago. But I used to get bombed before
- 1:22:15Speaker 3: every time I would go up. But when we did
- 1:22:17Speaker 3: that drinking show at the stand, it's.
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: A little shot.
- 1:22:21Speaker 3: Yeah, And then I did your show after and it's
- 1:22:24Speaker 3: all girls in the crowd. They hated me. Oh they
- 1:22:27Speaker 3: hated me.
- 1:22:28Speaker 6: I thought they liked it.
- 1:22:29Speaker 3: And when you're drunk like that, and you're like, I
- 1:22:30Speaker 3: don't even know, Like there's nothing I can do to
- 1:22:32Speaker 3: recover right now, because like my mind's not in the
- 1:22:34Speaker 3: right spot. Right. Yeah, see that it's.
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: Pretty nice, significantly better. It's like a core water.
- 1:22:39Speaker 6: I hate to be this guy. Is there any chance
- 1:22:41Speaker 6: that I could get one more of these? These are
- 1:22:43Speaker 6: so dorcious?
- 1:22:44Speaker 4: Of course?
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: Sorry, whatever you need, we'll roll out the red carpet.
- 1:22:48Speaker 6: I guess he just went to the bathroom. So honestly,
- 1:22:50Speaker 6: I don't even want to go out there yet. I
- 1:22:51Speaker 6: don't know who's out there.
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: Yeah, you really don't. It could be a fucking dave.
- 1:22:54Speaker 6: It could be a big cat, like okay, is this
- 1:22:56Speaker 6: a fan.
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: Bloat? Damn hell cats?
- 1:23:01Speaker 6: Cats government names.
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: Start rattling off as social Security number. We can't talk
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: about that one project that you're gonna work on, can we?
- 1:23:09Speaker 7: Uh?
- 1:23:09Speaker 6: You know we we we could oh look at that
- 1:23:12Speaker 6: fire trust going back. Yep, we won't talk about No, No,
- 1:23:16Speaker 6: it's not that we it's not that we can't.
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: Probably shouldn't. I shouldn't.
- 1:23:19Speaker 6: Probably for the best, yeah, for the best right now, Yeah,
- 1:23:22Speaker 6: it would be cool if we could have I think
- 1:23:23Speaker 6: there's some some some fun developments coming up. Oh really
- 1:23:26Speaker 6: on that still moving along? That's fucking great then, So
- 1:23:29Speaker 6: it's h it's been good fu Yeah.
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: Dude, that's incredible. It's always great to be able to
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: work on a wide array of different things. And that's
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: got to be part of what you miss of being
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: in here, that there's just like a bunch of different things.
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: Sometimes you'll probably get annoying when it's like someone's like,
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: you got to be at this shoot at like eight
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: am and fucking uh wherever the fuck and you have
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: to like wear some A six or something.
- 1:23:50Speaker 6: Yeah, I wish I could wear some all birds.
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: Yeah, those would truly be the ones. That's this has
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: all been the fucking ad read. Now, what was the
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: like didn't you have like some kind of like shoot
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: where you're doing like all these like fitness videos or.
- 1:24:02Speaker 3: Some shit like I did? You know? I did?
- 1:24:05Speaker 6: I had a bird deal with Puma. I had to
- 1:24:08Speaker 6: deal with Puma while I was here, And you know something,
- 1:24:12Speaker 6: this is this this really this is a pebble in
- 1:24:14Speaker 6: my Albert.
- 1:24:15Speaker 3: Let's get it all. This is a pebble in my shoe.
- 1:24:17Speaker 6: Yeah, so I I you know, you asked if I
- 1:24:20Speaker 6: if I keep up with some of this stuff at Barcela,
- 1:24:22Speaker 6: and as I said, I do, and what ends up
- 1:24:24Speaker 6: happening is sometimes my name will get mentioned around these
- 1:24:26Speaker 6: parts and then whoever has seen the video of that,
- 1:24:29Speaker 6: thank you, thank you very much, whoever seen the video
- 1:24:32Speaker 6: of that on Twitter will clip it and then tag
- 1:24:35Speaker 6: me in it.
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:24:36Speaker 6: People who just want to really put a pebble in
- 1:24:39Speaker 6: my show.
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: They want to like, yeah, get the unrest back into
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: your life, like you've been peaceful, and they want to
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: slip a pie your mattress.
- 1:24:44Speaker 6: And want to send a hornet up my bonnet.
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, and motherfucker.
- 1:24:48Speaker 6: So I'm doing fine, And then I get these people
- 1:24:50Speaker 6: do that. They're like, did you see what Dave said
- 1:24:52Speaker 6: about you on the thing on the rundown or whatever?
- 1:24:55Speaker 6: And one time I had like I'd gotten courtside tickets
- 1:24:58Speaker 6: to the Celtics, yes, and he started making fun.
- 1:25:00Speaker 3: My dad he did.
- 1:25:01Speaker 6: Yeah, he was like he's got all his daddy's money, Like, well, no,
- 1:25:05Speaker 6: I got the tickets for free, but they worked through
- 1:25:07Speaker 6: a front of but I didn't pay for him.
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: There was no money in exchange. It was more of
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: just like his good relationship.
- 1:25:13Speaker 3: I wish I could have.
- 1:25:14Speaker 6: I wish I could have said that though, for the
- 1:25:16Speaker 6: clear to have cleared up the record. But the one
- 1:25:19Speaker 6: I saw that bothered me was that I think it
- 1:25:22Speaker 6: was like, uh, you know, they they sort of rewrote
- 1:25:24Speaker 6: the reasons for why I was fired a little bit, uh,
- 1:25:27Speaker 6: and it came out that he said something like he's
- 1:25:30Speaker 6: really bad at working with the sales team. He refused
- 1:25:32Speaker 6: to do ads, and that's just not true. Yeah, that's
- 1:25:35Speaker 6: not true. I remember him saying that I had a
- 1:25:37Speaker 6: lot of I had a ton of ads. I had
- 1:25:39Speaker 6: an eight video or I think it was a five
- 1:25:41Speaker 6: video Puma deal. I did a big thing for Roman
- 1:25:45Speaker 6: where I wear all those different outfits and costumes and
- 1:25:48Speaker 6: like makeup and stuff. And then I had a Burger
- 1:25:51Speaker 6: King ad. I did a trunk club thing. But the
- 1:25:54Speaker 6: point is it's not it's not that I wasn't willing
- 1:26:00Speaker 6: to do them. What happened was, you know, I was
- 1:26:03Speaker 6: getting these companies that would message me and say, hey,
- 1:26:07Speaker 6: we love your Instagram. Would you be willing to do
- 1:26:10Speaker 6: an ad for us? And then I would I asked
- 1:26:14Speaker 6: one day if I was allowed to do that because
- 1:26:16Speaker 6: they were just willing to pay me, you know, a
- 1:26:18Speaker 6: couple thousand Bucks or something would have been nice. And
- 1:26:21Speaker 6: they told me, no, you're not allowed to do that.
- 1:26:23Speaker 6: That's a workaround against for the sales team. All ads
- 1:26:28Speaker 6: that you do on your social media have to be
- 1:26:30Speaker 6: through you. And I said, O sense, Yeah, totally fine,
- 1:26:32Speaker 6: that's fair. But then the sales team hit me with
- 1:26:36Speaker 6: one day where they were like, we've sold ads on
- 1:26:40Speaker 6: your Instagram, oh, on your personal yeah, And they were like,
- 1:26:43Speaker 6: we want you to do a series of ads on
- 1:26:45Speaker 6: your Instagram. And I was like, are you gonna give
- 1:26:48Speaker 6: me any money? Because I had built my Instagram, you know,
- 1:26:52Speaker 6: and certainly I had received spill off and growth from
- 1:26:56Speaker 6: having worked here, but not everyone here had the same
- 1:26:59Speaker 6: INSTAGRAMM number, and therefore they were not all created equal, right,
- 1:27:04Speaker 6: And it was thought that our personal social media handles
- 1:27:07Speaker 6: and platforms were our own. And when the sales team
- 1:27:11Speaker 6: came to me and said that, I was like, well,
- 1:27:14Speaker 6: if I'm not allowed to do my own, am I
- 1:27:17Speaker 6: supposed to do these things? And I went to I
- 1:27:21Speaker 6: actually went to Dan Katz and I said is this right?
- 1:27:23Speaker 6: And He's like, no, no, they're not supposed to tell
- 1:27:24Speaker 6: you to do that. So then I went to Dave
- 1:27:26Speaker 6: and Dave was like, okay, yeah, I guess you know,
- 1:27:30Speaker 6: you don't have to do it. And Todave's credit, he
- 1:27:33Speaker 6: was like, you know, you should. You should take one
- 1:27:36Speaker 6: for the team. And I should have I should have
- 1:27:39Speaker 6: done something. I think I should have done it. I
- 1:27:43Speaker 6: should have done it. But that's what.
- 1:27:45Speaker 3: Where it's a corporation, that's where the idea is for
- 1:27:48Speaker 3: the team.
- 1:27:49Speaker 6: That's where the idea started that I was like unwilling
- 1:27:52Speaker 6: to do ads. And it's not that I was unwilling
- 1:27:54Speaker 6: to do ads, it was just to do with my
- 1:27:56Speaker 6: own Instagram.
- 1:27:58Speaker 1: Yeah, it is tough when it's like you could have
- 1:28:01Speaker 1: gotten it directly to you if you just didn't say
- 1:28:03Speaker 1: anything to anybody, if you had been in asking forgiveness
- 1:28:07Speaker 1: not permission type of phase.
- 1:28:08Speaker 6: And that's the other thing. There were people who were posting.
- 1:28:11Speaker 1: Yes, and that's the personalized that people that there will
- 1:28:14Speaker 1: be people.
- 1:28:14Speaker 3: Will do that.
- 1:28:14Speaker 4: Only I don't know if I see anyone.
- 1:28:16Speaker 1: Sometimes you'll see like they'll be like I got this
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: from this place, Like we know what's going on there, Yeah,
- 1:28:21Speaker 1: we know what kind of sneak ship.
- 1:28:23Speaker 3: I mean, the cameo thing is pretty crazy.
- 1:28:25Speaker 1: Oh people, you know Frank Fleming is the fucking one
- 1:28:27Speaker 1: of the top five creators.
- 1:28:29Speaker 3: Is that.
- 1:28:31Speaker 6: My point is, you know, there's this like a gray
- 1:28:33Speaker 6: area of sort of trading on the name a little bit.
- 1:28:36Speaker 6: And uh, it was hard to listen to this hard
- 1:28:40Speaker 6: and fast policy when when all of a sudden, you know,
- 1:28:42Speaker 6: I was like, okay, I'll bye by that. Look, I
- 1:28:45Speaker 6: feel bad again.
- 1:28:46Speaker 3: I was wrong.
- 1:28:48Speaker 6: I should have just sucked it up and done it.
- 1:28:49Speaker 6: But that's where that came from. And and for the record,
- 1:28:52Speaker 6: I was always doing ads here and was I knew
- 1:28:56Speaker 6: that that was a good thing to do, because that's
- 1:28:58Speaker 6: job security here.
- 1:28:59Speaker 4: It is Rowan.
- 1:29:00Speaker 3: I mean, Ron does ads twenty times a day.
- 1:29:02Speaker 6: The more ads that you do, the more you can
- 1:29:05Speaker 6: see you can they they will see that you're bringing
- 1:29:07Speaker 6: money in and that's that, truly, is the best way
- 1:29:09Speaker 6: to armor your position here. Well, look at us now,
- 1:29:14Speaker 6: right now that he's gone, we got nothing.
- 1:29:19Speaker 4: Yeah, So Saint Louis, you excited?
- 1:29:21Speaker 3: I am.
- 1:29:21Speaker 6: I've never been there now neither by. It's the murder
- 1:29:24Speaker 6: capital of America.
- 1:29:25Speaker 3: It's one of the nicest cities in the country. I've
- 1:29:27Speaker 3: heard that, and I'm glad we're going. I am.
- 1:29:30Speaker 4: I am going to be really fun.
- 1:29:32Speaker 3: I wonder.
- 1:29:32Speaker 6: I wonder if they're going to give us each our
- 1:29:34Speaker 6: own hotel room of her splading.
- 1:29:35Speaker 3: I think, oh no, we're definite. I think we're sleeping,
- 1:29:37Speaker 3: like in the green room of the club.
- 1:29:47Speaker 6: I'm excited. Uh, Saint Louis. What'sn't known for the arch?
- 1:29:51Speaker 4: The Blues? The Blues Blues? They slice their bagels weird?
- 1:29:56Speaker 4: Do they slice it like a white bread? Really? Yeah? Wait,
- 1:30:00Speaker 4: they take a bagel and they'll cut it into sixteen pieces?
- 1:30:04Speaker 3: Are you for real? I actually don't. I don't hate
- 1:30:07Speaker 3: that at all.
- 1:30:07Speaker 4: The way you can butter cream, cheese every side.
- 1:30:09Speaker 3: That actually sounds kind of good.
- 1:30:12Speaker 6: You know, you might that might not be true. He
- 1:30:14Speaker 6: might just be messing with us. He could be I
- 1:30:16Speaker 6: like that though. If you are, he could be. So. Okay,
- 1:30:21Speaker 6: how's life for you? How are you doing here? Are
- 1:30:24Speaker 6: you happy?
- 1:30:24Speaker 3: Yeah? I'm having a good time. Things have been going
- 1:30:27Speaker 3: well recently. It's been a good summer. Yeah, you seeing anybody? No? No, no,
- 1:30:32Speaker 3: just me and myself and I.
- 1:30:33Speaker 6: Well, when we get to Saint Louis, you're gonna have
- 1:30:34Speaker 6: to roll up those You're gonna roll up those sleeves
- 1:30:36Speaker 6: because you're gonna be fisting yeah, a lot of fisting
- 1:30:40Speaker 6: for both of these big old Vagintyes, that is what
- 1:30:43Speaker 6: Saint Louis is. Nois have had triplets and stuff. They're
- 1:30:47Speaker 6: gonna be loosing.
- 1:30:48Speaker 4: Yeah, oh yeah.
- 1:30:50Speaker 3: Actually the murder is actually the murder capital.
- 1:30:52Speaker 6: It is chicks sticking sixteen part bagels up there. Poons
- 1:30:56Speaker 6: Yeah yeah yeah, buttering every side, yeah.
- 1:30:59Speaker 3: Butter and creams.
- 1:31:00Speaker 4: Jeez.
- 1:31:01Speaker 3: That wow. I actually kind of love I don't hate it.
- 1:31:04Speaker 3: I don't have that's gonna be.
- 1:31:05Speaker 1: Great bagel slicer.
- 1:31:06Speaker 3: Dude, we're gonna need so many bagels out there?
- 1:31:08Speaker 1: Are those Saint Louis style?
- 1:31:10Speaker 3: Yeah you did you show?
- 1:31:13Speaker 1: Is there Saint Louis style bagels that.
- 1:31:14Speaker 6: You knew that Saint Louis They sliced their bagels that way.
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: I kind of put that. I feel I've heard of
- 1:31:18Speaker 1: Saint Louis style.
- 1:31:19Speaker 3: Ship.
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: Don't they have like a weird pizza or something that
- 1:31:22Speaker 1: they do like Stois style?
- 1:31:23Speaker 4: Hot the barsool Man page post this like twice a
- 1:31:25Speaker 4: year for engagement. They're like look at this.
- 1:31:28Speaker 1: Yeah, fucking freaks.
- 1:31:31Speaker 4: By school Saint Louis.
- 1:31:32Speaker 6: I actually texted Gazz and let him know about that
- 1:31:35Speaker 6: that shoulder video I did. Yeah, I was like, listen,
- 1:31:38Speaker 6: I know it's probably not gonna happen, but this is
- 1:31:40Speaker 6: the highest engagement I've ever had. And if you put
- 1:31:43Speaker 6: it on the main page, I bet it would explode.
- 1:31:44Speaker 6: He was like, ll probably would.
- 1:31:47Speaker 3: Ah, that's tough. I didn't.
- 1:31:50Speaker 6: I didn't even. I just we because he and I
- 1:31:51Speaker 6: used to. I used to obsess over engagement. You know,
- 1:31:54Speaker 6: I'd do those Game of Throne songs stuff like that,
- 1:31:57Speaker 6: and and anytime I could get something of my own
- 1:31:59Speaker 6: on the main page, you just get.
- 1:32:01Speaker 1: Like, what's crazy?
- 1:32:03Speaker 6: Followers?
- 1:32:03Speaker 1: They now they've like, will prioritize stuff that's made by
- 1:32:08Speaker 1: us rather than just viral stuff all over You.
- 1:32:10Speaker 3: Have to because all the viral stuff gets taken down.
- 1:32:12Speaker 4: Now, exactly what Instagram incentivized, is it like reposting viral
- 1:32:17Speaker 4: clips doesn't It doesn't do what you see guidelines on
- 1:32:20Speaker 4: Instagram or they want original content.
- 1:32:22Speaker 1: Interesting, But doing a skit will do insane numbies. So
- 1:32:26Speaker 1: if you had been back in the building, if you
- 1:32:28Speaker 1: had still been working here, they'd be posting every single
- 1:32:31Speaker 1: one of them to the fucking tunes.
- 1:32:33Speaker 6: Or Caleb could probably be doing as well as him.
- 1:32:38Speaker 1: He does crazy numberies. He's doing really well he's doing.
- 1:32:42Speaker 1: Is there anybody that you had like beef with while.
- 1:32:46Speaker 3: You were Yeah, come on, talk some ship.
- 1:32:49Speaker 1: Other than Ebony. Obviously Ebony she still hates you. I
- 1:32:54Speaker 1: don't know.
- 1:32:55Speaker 6: Uh, you know, you know, I will say that one
- 1:32:57Speaker 6: thing that actually was really nice was the day I
- 1:33:00Speaker 6: got fired. I mean, I think something like ninety eight
- 1:33:04Speaker 6: percent of the content people texted me and were like, dude,
- 1:33:09Speaker 6: I'm so sorry. You know, it's joy working with you,
- 1:33:13Speaker 6: and it made me realize like I didn't really have
- 1:33:15Speaker 6: enemies here. Yeah.
- 1:33:18Speaker 1: Yeah, Laura was one sided, like you didn't like people,
- 1:33:21Speaker 1: but they liked you, so that then suddenly you like them.
- 1:33:24Speaker 1: You know, Look, if someone likes me, I don't like
- 1:33:27Speaker 1: them back.
- 1:33:27Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:33:28Speaker 6: Yeah, there were you know, your usual suspects like Nate
- 1:33:32Speaker 6: ground my gears a lot. But he's also been great
- 1:33:37Speaker 6: in the day in sense, and I have this begrudging
- 1:33:41Speaker 6: love for Nate because I think he's very good at
- 1:33:45Speaker 6: what he does and I respect him, and he was
- 1:33:49Speaker 6: also very nice to me in the wake of all that.
- 1:33:53Speaker 6: But man, he used to make me so mad when
- 1:33:54Speaker 6: I worked here in way, like one time he you know,
- 1:33:59Speaker 6: I was doing barstool breakfast, so for a year. I
- 1:34:02Speaker 6: didn't miss a single show one the whole year. Monday
- 1:34:04Speaker 6: through Friday, did not miss six am, six seven am.
- 1:34:08Speaker 6: We'd be in at six, so six and then I'd
- 1:34:11Speaker 6: be here and then I'd stay after and write blogs
- 1:34:13Speaker 6: all day, and then i'd like go on the road
- 1:34:15Speaker 6: on the weekend for stand up. So I was just
- 1:34:18Speaker 6: exhausted all the time. And one day on a Friday,
- 1:34:23Speaker 6: I did Barcel breakfast, I wrote all my blogs, and
- 1:34:26Speaker 6: then I left at like two thirty or three o'clock
- 1:34:29Speaker 6: on a Friday.
- 1:34:29Speaker 1: What did he hit you at that half game?
- 1:34:31Speaker 6: Took a picture of me walking out and then put
- 1:34:35Speaker 6: a time stamp next to it and tweeted like, guess
- 1:34:38Speaker 6: he's having Yeah. I like, guess someone's having a half day.
- 1:34:40Speaker 1: Must be nice.
- 1:34:41Speaker 3: I feel like that part of the And I was like,
- 1:34:43Speaker 3: what the fuck?
- 1:34:44Speaker 6: Man?
- 1:34:44Speaker 1: Yeah, dude, when I first started all over the places
- 1:34:48Speaker 1: like that here, I.
- 1:34:49Speaker 3: Like when I first started, he would like it was like,
- 1:34:51Speaker 3: but I remember it was like the first rough and
- 1:34:52Speaker 3: rowdy that I was here for, and I just I
- 1:34:54Speaker 3: was like, I was like, I wasn't in New York,
- 1:34:57Speaker 3: but it was it was a weekend or something, and
- 1:35:00Speaker 3: I logged on Twitter and Nate just tweeted the rough
- 1:35:02Speaker 3: and rowdy link and then at me as in like,
- 1:35:05Speaker 3: why aren't you started promoting retweet this? And I'm like, dude,
- 1:35:09Speaker 3: like do you think that? Like you think I don't know, dude.
- 1:35:16Speaker 6: I gotta say, some of the numbers that I've seen
- 1:35:18Speaker 6: people get paid for some of these rough and routies
- 1:35:21Speaker 6: made me strongly consider trying to trying to do it,
- 1:35:24Speaker 6: and I have agreed. I have a great opponent. I
- 1:35:28Speaker 6: think would uh would really generate some downloads.
- 1:35:32Speaker 1: Sean Avery, the bike guy, no, the hockey guy, but
- 1:35:36Speaker 1: he city bikes all over. He's like a staunch bike guy.
- 1:35:38Speaker 1: But yeah, Sean Avery would fight you.
- 1:35:40Speaker 6: I think he would because I was doing alternate side
- 1:35:43Speaker 6: parking and that was starting to you know, grow, and
- 1:35:46Speaker 6: then one day he did like film people doing it,
- 1:35:50Speaker 6: so everyone tagged me in his video that he had posted,
- 1:35:53Speaker 6: and then I just like retweeted or wrote something really
- 1:35:57Speaker 6: passive aggressive like you know, like I guess I guess
- 1:36:01Speaker 6: this is he just oh, I said something like hard
- 1:36:05Speaker 6: to believe that he's now taking my sloppy seconds, which
- 1:36:09Speaker 6: was a call back to the thing he got in
- 1:36:11Speaker 6: trouble for in the NHL. If you remember when Elijah
- 1:36:15Speaker 6: Cuthbert he had dated her who was Jack Bauer's daughter
- 1:36:18Speaker 6: on twenty four of course, and then she she was
- 1:36:20Speaker 6: in The Girl next Door as well. Yeah, amazing, amazing,
- 1:36:23Speaker 6: and she dated him and then she started dating Dion
- 1:36:27Speaker 6: Fanough I think, who was the defenseman for the Toronto
- 1:36:31Speaker 6: Maple Leafs, and Avery in a press conference or was
- 1:36:35Speaker 6: in the locker room and pulled a camera person over
- 1:36:37Speaker 6: and was like, I'm trying to figure out why all
- 1:36:39Speaker 6: these guys in the league keep dating my sloppy seconds,
- 1:36:41Speaker 6: like what's that about? And he thought it'd be funny,
- 1:36:43Speaker 6: but he got like suspended, Like all the players in
- 1:36:48Speaker 6: league were like, that's so fucked, like you know, what
- 1:36:50Speaker 6: what is he doing? And it is whatever a mark
- 1:36:53Speaker 6: on his resume, I guess.
- 1:36:55Speaker 1: But I'd tried to give it to a minute call
- 1:36:57Speaker 1: back to that and just.
- 1:36:58Speaker 3: It's like a joke.
- 1:36:59Speaker 6: He doesn't know why I am. And then he went
- 1:37:01Speaker 6: on his podcast and spent half an hour like talking
- 1:37:04Speaker 6: about how I'm like just shitting on me. I didn't.
- 1:37:08Speaker 6: I didn't even listen to it, but I heard a
- 1:37:10Speaker 6: friend of mine listened to it for me and was like, yeah,
- 1:37:12Speaker 6: don't listen to it. I would listen to everything saying
- 1:37:15Speaker 6: like calling me the worst names and all this. So
- 1:37:17Speaker 6: I was like, oh, that would be somebody that people
- 1:37:20Speaker 6: would assume would be a fair fight. He's a former
- 1:37:23Speaker 6: NHL antagonist. I think a lot of people would would
- 1:37:28Speaker 6: probably think he'd beat me. But I'm you know, I'm
- 1:37:32Speaker 6: somewhat athletic, surprice.
- 1:37:33Speaker 1: What are you asking for?
- 1:37:34Speaker 3: I don't know. See, the problem is, you could definitely
- 1:37:37Speaker 3: do it.
- 1:37:37Speaker 6: The problem is that I don't. I am I'm afraid.
- 1:37:42Speaker 6: I'm afraid. I'm afraid from my brain.
- 1:37:46Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't want to.
- 1:37:47Speaker 6: I've had concussion in Schwab. I don't want Yeah, I don't.
- 1:37:51Speaker 6: I don't really like I don't know.
- 1:37:52Speaker 3: So like Charles Schwab, pronounce it sho sho, said Schwab.
- 1:38:00Speaker 1: And twelve that's where I get my advice, my investment advice.
- 1:38:02Speaker 6: From the number would have. It's like jose Con Seco
- 1:38:07Speaker 6: got an a million dollars, Yeah, a dive. I mean
- 1:38:10Speaker 6: if I got paid a million dollars, yeah, I'd spend
- 1:38:11Speaker 6: three minutes during with Sean Avery, no problem. Yeah, how
- 1:38:13Speaker 6: about a half of maybe five hundred? Yeah about a hundred,
- 1:38:17Speaker 6: you wouldn't do it for a hundred. I guess I
- 1:38:19Speaker 6: wouldn't do it for a hundred. I might do it
- 1:38:20Speaker 6: for a hundred. Yeah, I don't know. I don't know.
- 1:38:22Speaker 6: I don't know what are they paying. What are they
- 1:38:24Speaker 6: paying one hundred dollars now to do it?
- 1:38:27Speaker 1: So I think that they they've just said, but I
- 1:38:29Speaker 1: also said he heard like he's not going to pay
- 1:38:31Speaker 1: some people, like I think he was like, oh if
- 1:38:33Speaker 1: Dougs is like asking about a contract, like I'm not
- 1:38:35Speaker 1: going to pay Dougs to fight in rough and rowdy.
- 1:38:37Speaker 1: But I think some other people have been offered six figures.
- 1:38:41Speaker 3: Like I think Jersey d figures. Do I think that
- 1:38:44Speaker 3: fight they got paid a lot of them? Really?
- 1:38:46Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm pretty sure I got six figures.
- 1:38:49Speaker 4: Other people I.
- 1:38:49Speaker 3: Think they both got six figures just for fighting. Yeah,
- 1:38:52Speaker 3: it's been and I'm pretty sure they've been public about
- 1:38:54Speaker 3: that right using information.
- 1:38:56Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, big guarantee.
- 1:38:58Speaker 6: The dude I got paid fifteen hundred dollar winning the
- 1:39:00Speaker 6: fucking spelling Bee.
- 1:39:03Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a ton of I mean.
- 1:39:04Speaker 6: I didn't get shipped for winning the combine.
- 1:39:06Speaker 1: No, there's a and now people are getting paid, uh,
- 1:39:09Speaker 1: I mean there's all these kinds of huh.
- 1:39:11Speaker 3: I was gonna say something about something, but we can't
- 1:39:13Speaker 3: talk about it.
- 1:39:14Speaker 1: Yeah, there are multiple things that people have got there
- 1:39:16Speaker 1: before recently.
- 1:39:17Speaker 3: Tournaments like weekly here now where people are like that,
- 1:39:20Speaker 3: Oh yeah, it's like two hundred k on the line.
- 1:39:22Speaker 3: Oh it's these games is game show, same show?
- 1:39:25Speaker 6: Those are paying people?
- 1:39:27Speaker 3: Really well? Yeah do that ship?
- 1:39:29Speaker 4: Are you?
- 1:39:29Speaker 3: What do they get for Barceloros America forty thousand?
- 1:39:32Speaker 4: Yeah, fifty five hundred.
- 1:39:34Speaker 1: Forty thousand split five ways?
- 1:39:36Speaker 3: I think? Okay, see that's not and then a house.
- 1:39:39Speaker 4: Yea, they could party in a shorehouse.
- 1:39:41Speaker 3: That's not.
- 1:39:42Speaker 6: That's fine.
- 1:39:43Speaker 1: Exactly six figures for one person for a boxing match
- 1:39:47Speaker 1: is probably.
- 1:39:47Speaker 6: The three one minute rounds. That's a joke. You can evade,
- 1:39:51Speaker 6: possible to get hurt. You can evade that whole time.
- 1:39:54Speaker 3: And then if one dude got fucking ko which guy
- 1:39:58Speaker 3: who was the guy that?
- 1:39:59Speaker 1: Who was the guy that there was always knocking people out?
- 1:40:01Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, but that would be awesome. You
- 1:40:04Speaker 1: against Sean every would be cool as fuck. House tall
- 1:40:06Speaker 1: is he's like five ten or something like that. He's
- 1:40:07Speaker 1: a little bit smaller.
- 1:40:08Speaker 6: He's probably a little smaller, you could.
- 1:40:10Speaker 1: But he's so feisty though, but.
- 1:40:11Speaker 6: He's he knows what he's doing. He might beat the
- 1:40:14Speaker 6: shit out of me. I like, I'm fully aware of that.
- 1:40:17Speaker 6: I really wouldn't say that.
- 1:40:18Speaker 3: Like hockey fights have much like correlation to real fights.
- 1:40:23Speaker 6: They're better, that's a more just like they probably, dude,
- 1:40:26Speaker 6: all those all those guys who knew they would go
- 1:40:28Speaker 6: into a season and fight, they would all box in
- 1:40:31Speaker 6: the offseas. Yeah, it makes sense all the time. That's
- 1:40:33Speaker 6: half of their training probably.
- 1:40:34Speaker 3: But they're like grabbing onto each other's jerseys and shit, Yeah,
- 1:40:37Speaker 3: and sunglasses. Hey, what's going on there? Pal? We saw
- 1:40:41Speaker 3: you the hockey game MARKT So I know you guys.

- 1:40:46Speaker 6: Pink Whitney.
- 1:40:47Speaker 3: That's what I thought, See you, fellas, I invented the
- 1:40:50Speaker 3: thing you pigeoned Pink Whitney for legendary moments.
- 1:40:54Speaker 1: Slash Boy Dad to score fifteen percent off by raycon
- 1:40:58Speaker 1: dot Com. Slash boy Dad, isn't it crazy that, uh
- 1:41:03Speaker 1: that we actually have ads on this show?
- 1:41:05Speaker 3: It's good?
- 1:41:05Speaker 6: This is this is good for him?
- 1:41:07Speaker 3: Yeah, massive, he needs this.
- 1:41:09Speaker 6: This is gonna go well negotiation.
- 1:41:12Speaker 1: I don't know if Offended the Musical ever.
- 1:41:13Speaker 6: Got to get there. We didn't get there, but we
- 1:41:15Speaker 6: had fun.
- 1:41:16Speaker 4: I was a fan of Offended the musical.
- 1:41:18Speaker 1: We were there was a lot of really funny shit
- 1:41:21Speaker 1: that went on. Yeah, there was only like fifteen episodes.
- 1:41:23Speaker 6: We didn't do a time, but man, I had a
- 1:41:25Speaker 6: good time.
- 1:41:25Speaker 1: It was harder to do than just that. It was
- 1:41:27Speaker 1: hard to come in and talk to ship.
- 1:41:28Speaker 3: It was the ship. It was hard.
- 1:41:30Speaker 6: That was That was probably what sunk us in the end.
- 1:41:32Speaker 6: We were just we both silently realized.
- 1:41:35Speaker 4: Like, this is so much were they monthly?
- 1:41:37Speaker 3: I was putting out one a week.
- 1:41:38Speaker 4: I think, yeah, that was probably too much, so much work,
- 1:41:42Speaker 4: but they were incredible. There's a lot to come up with.
- 1:41:44Speaker 6: It was creative. It was cool to see you. That
- 1:41:47Speaker 6: was to me.
- 1:41:47Speaker 1: It was cool to see you.
- 1:41:48Speaker 6: What was to me seeing you at the height of
- 1:41:51Speaker 6: your powers making up songs. Just how quickly you realized
- 1:41:56Speaker 6: we'd stumbled this upon something that was worth singing about.
- 1:42:00Speaker 6: How well you could improvise funny in a song like that.
- 1:42:05Speaker 6: It's one thing to sing a song, improvise it and
- 1:42:10Speaker 6: and just make it rhyme or even make it make sense.
- 1:42:13Speaker 6: It's a whole nother thing to have on it. And
- 1:42:17Speaker 6: I just I was multiple you. You were running circles
- 1:42:20Speaker 6: around me.
- 1:42:20Speaker 1: That's not true at all, but it was fun as fuck.
- 1:42:22Speaker 1: But now we're doing what you and Sas did with
- 1:42:24Speaker 1: a comedy earlier. Just this fucking gracious dig sock off,
- 1:42:27Speaker 1: and now you.
- 1:42:28Speaker 6: Two should do something to celebrate each other. And I'll
- 1:42:30Speaker 6: just go fuck myself.
- 1:42:31Speaker 1: No, No, it's nice. We have a nice uh like
- 1:42:34Speaker 1: butting heads type of thing going on. Works, it works
- 1:42:37Speaker 1: real good.
- 1:42:38Speaker 3: We're just busting balls.
- 1:42:39Speaker 1: Yeah, we just love the fucking bust balls as a
- 1:42:42Speaker 1: way to fucking mask our insecurities. Dude, it fucking works
- 1:42:45Speaker 1: super good, It works extremely well. You're about to be
- 1:42:49Speaker 1: docremely real. You're about to be down in Philly. Yeah,
- 1:42:51Speaker 1: really real, dude. I went out with all s all
- 1:42:54Speaker 1: sassage friends this past weekend. He's the shortest one of
- 1:42:57Speaker 1: his friends. Come on, every one of them is taller
- 1:42:59Speaker 1: with him. Those are and that's what informs his personality.
- 1:43:03Speaker 1: He has like little Napoleon like among his crew friends.
- 1:43:06Speaker 1: A lot of those are friends, did you row?
- 1:43:08Speaker 3: No, A lot of those kids are like kids that
- 1:43:10Speaker 3: I'm that I went to high school with ands with,
- 1:43:14Speaker 3: and like we're like but like we're like we all
- 1:43:16Speaker 3: hung out. But like those kids are like all like
- 1:43:20Speaker 3: freakishly tall, but they're also all like d one athletes.
- 1:43:23Speaker 1: All good looking. They bully the fuck out of you,
- 1:43:25Speaker 1: and that's what informs his personality.
- 1:43:27Speaker 4: Dude, he just is. He's been fighting back the entire
- 1:43:30Speaker 4: time as they just.
- 1:43:31Speaker 3: It was wild how short I looked though, compared to them,
- 1:43:34Speaker 3: but six two six six feet No, he's.
- 1:43:38Speaker 4: Six and change. He's a little bit taller than.
- 1:43:40Speaker 1: That this picture, and they all tower over him. He
- 1:43:44Speaker 1: looks like such a coward among these fucking dudes, among
- 1:43:47Speaker 1: these actual fucking men.
- 1:43:48Speaker 6: Dude, look at this picture. Wow, I'd like to meet
- 1:43:53Speaker 6: some of them.
- 1:43:54Speaker 1: Yeah, they're very they're affable.
- 1:43:55Speaker 3: Guy, I don't even know two of those kids in
- 1:43:57Speaker 3: the picture.
- 1:43:58Speaker 4: Are any of them? I No, I don't waste your time.
- 1:44:04Speaker 3: I should have started with them.
- 1:44:07Speaker 4: You don't want to waste your time.
- 1:44:08Speaker 1: You're gonna stop by Wharton while you're down in Philly.
- 1:44:10Speaker 6: Yeah, you know, maybe maybe maybe Yeah goocus the ring
- 1:44:15Speaker 6: while you're down in Philly. I'm excited to get down there.
- 1:44:17Speaker 1: I love.
- 1:44:18Speaker 6: I love those guys. This is the whole Shane Gillis orbit.
- 1:44:21Speaker 1: He got a big he's got a big orbit.
- 1:44:22Speaker 3: Now, yeah, it's pretty big.
- 1:44:24Speaker 1: Who are some people that are in his orbit?
- 1:44:25Speaker 4: Would you say?
- 1:44:26Speaker 6: Well, it's everyone who appears in the Gillian Keeves things.
- 1:44:30Speaker 6: So it's you know, Tim Buttery and uh uh McCusker
- 1:44:35Speaker 6: and McKeever and uh, you know O'Connor and uh, Tommy
- 1:44:40Speaker 6: Poe and all those guys. This is the whole Philly crewe.
- 1:44:44Speaker 3: They have.
- 1:44:44Speaker 6: Philly's churned out such a renaissance of like comedians that
- 1:44:48Speaker 6: are so well liked. That's I think the biggest differentiator.
- 1:44:52Speaker 6: They just like these guys who came up in Philly
- 1:44:54Speaker 6: versus New York. The Philly crewe is like they're all friends,
- 1:44:58Speaker 6: they're all nice, they're funny as hell, and they they're
- 1:45:01Speaker 6: well liked by everyone.
- 1:45:02Speaker 1: Are they actually nice or they bullies and they're just
- 1:45:05Speaker 1: they're really nice.
- 1:45:06Speaker 6: Dude, They're really nice guys.
- 1:45:07Speaker 1: Yeah, dude, Shane came in and did a case race
- 1:45:10Speaker 1: with us, and I think that he had a bad time.
- 1:45:16Speaker 1: I'm actually positive, so that was.
- 1:45:20Speaker 3: Had a good time, Like he told me after, He's like,
- 1:45:22Speaker 3: I had a blast. He's like, I didn't realize they
- 1:45:23Speaker 3: went that bad, So he said he had a bad time.
- 1:45:25Speaker 6: Afterwards, I saw some clip about stephen Ja trying to
- 1:45:28Speaker 6: fight him.
- 1:45:28Speaker 3: What was that crazy? Why would he do that? Ye
- 1:45:31Speaker 3: have that And I don't think that was a joke
- 1:45:33Speaker 3: at all.
- 1:45:34Speaker 4: I thought it was a joke in.
- 1:45:35Speaker 1: The moment was he was like, I was playing into
- 1:45:37Speaker 1: my character on the show, dude.
- 1:45:38Speaker 6: And with stephen Ja drinking. Yeah, oh yeah, okay, so
- 1:45:42Speaker 6: then probably wasn't a joke.
- 1:45:43Speaker 3: Yeah, we don't need to dive too deep into this.
- 1:45:45Speaker 3: This is a part of my life.
- 1:45:46Speaker 4: I'm trying to uh, what.
- 1:45:48Speaker 3: Happened to you? Again? What happened? Just a bad performance?
- 1:45:51Speaker 3: And I checked you, like, yes, it's got like half
- 1:45:52Speaker 3: a million views on YouTube.
- 1:45:54Speaker 6: Yeah, in like two weeks it'll be that's it's just.
- 1:45:57Speaker 3: A million, and then it'll really be.
- 1:45:59Speaker 1: You know, franchiseship come in for a case race though.
- 1:46:01Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, that'd be fun.
- 1:46:02Speaker 6: You should I thought about it.
- 1:46:04Speaker 4: The next one birthodys think I get the invites?
- 1:46:07Speaker 3: What's that?
- 1:46:07Speaker 4: The next one's my birthday? October?
- 1:46:10Speaker 1: Wow, invite Francis.
- 1:46:12Speaker 4: I would I let's see when I set this one
- 1:46:15Speaker 4: out just.
- 1:46:17Speaker 1: You are, You're just gonna be sitting in front row
- 1:46:18Speaker 1: from it.
- 1:46:19Speaker 3: Dude. It's gonna be hard to like get morale up
- 1:46:22Speaker 3: to the point wheople are gonna be like, Okay, yeah,
- 1:46:23Speaker 3: like let's do that. This is a good idea to
- 1:46:25Speaker 3: do this.
- 1:46:25Speaker 4: We need a buffer one.
- 1:46:27Speaker 1: Yeah, we all look terrible, Like I don't want came
- 1:46:29Speaker 1: off so bad.
- 1:46:30Speaker 3: Dude, It's gonna not I'm not gonna have the same
- 1:46:32Speaker 3: excitement where I'm like, I'm pumped to get fucked up,
- 1:46:34Speaker 3: Like I don't.
- 1:46:34Speaker 4: I never want to be that drunk again on camera ever.
- 1:46:37Speaker 1: Yeah, it's shameful, but but it seemed but people want
- 1:46:40Speaker 1: to do it though. It's like, as an outsider, it
- 1:46:42Speaker 1: looked like it would be fun to be in there
- 1:46:44Speaker 1: just mixing it up, talking shit with the boys.
- 1:46:45Speaker 6: I'm trying to think. So it's twenty four beers, two people, Yeah,
- 1:46:49Speaker 6: twelve God, I just don't know. I don't know what
- 1:46:52Speaker 6: I'm capable.
- 1:46:53Speaker 1: Of because you haven't pushed your body in that way.
- 1:46:56Speaker 6: I've never well, it's it's definitely the case that I've
- 1:46:59Speaker 6: had more drinks than that, but wasn't counting and didn't
- 1:47:03Speaker 6: and didn't really know, and that's usually a lot probably
- 1:47:05Speaker 6: a longer, yeah, longer period of time.
- 1:47:08Speaker 1: But you gotta be on like acid or something. I
- 1:47:10Speaker 1: was talking to my boy Mike this past weekend about it,
- 1:47:12Speaker 1: and like being on acid would be the true pe
- 1:47:14Speaker 1: d where you could just drink like a fish and
- 1:47:16Speaker 1: not get more fucked up. Maybe you wouldn't just wouldn't
- 1:47:18Speaker 1: notice and.
- 1:47:19Speaker 4: Out of your mind.
- 1:47:20Speaker 3: Sounds like very worse.
- 1:47:21Speaker 1: Yeah, that's like acid. I think it is possible to
- 1:47:25Speaker 1: just fucking pound beers on acid. Only one way to
- 1:47:28Speaker 1: find out?
- 1:47:28Speaker 6: Boys, Well, how many? How many did you have?
- 1:47:32Speaker 3: Fewer than him, Roan? You had like maybe three?
- 1:47:36Speaker 4: We really should do this.
- 1:47:39Speaker 6: What is this?
- 1:47:41Speaker 3: Everyone so walking on eggshells about this case because it
- 1:47:43Speaker 3: was a bad it's a bad time. What do you mean?
- 1:47:46Speaker 1: It was just so consensus that everybody, like each one
- 1:47:49Speaker 1: of us took our lashings publicly in like a fucking
- 1:47:52Speaker 1: terrible way, like each one of us felt so bad
- 1:47:54Speaker 1: about what the interwe net was saying. But then like
- 1:47:56Speaker 1: whoever was sitting.
- 1:47:57Speaker 4: Next to you got it way worse like it was
- 1:48:00Speaker 4: I got it the worst.
- 1:48:01Speaker 6: Did anybody did anybody have a positive experience?
- 1:48:05Speaker 3: Did anyone?
- 1:48:06Speaker 1: Will Compton will Compton kind of, but he like took
- 1:48:08Speaker 1: his pants off when we saw that his dick was
- 1:48:10Speaker 1: he was having a bad dick day. And so like,
- 1:48:12Speaker 1: even if it was.
- 1:48:13Speaker 3: A good experience, I think Will Compton just came off
- 1:48:15Speaker 3: good because he like wasn't being in I mean, I said,
- 1:48:18Speaker 3: it is coming off good because he wasn't being annoying.
- 1:48:20Speaker 6: I thought about what I was to do if I
- 1:48:22Speaker 6: if I were invited, and I think my whole idea
- 1:48:26Speaker 6: would just be to come in and just try to laugh,
- 1:48:29Speaker 6: because I know people would try to, you know, get
- 1:48:32Speaker 6: me to rise to the bait, because I'm a pretty
- 1:48:35Speaker 6: easily baitable. Yeah, I get, I get I have him ruffled.
- 1:48:39Speaker 6: I can ruffle pretty.
- 1:48:40Speaker 3: But this was like the thing was the first one
- 1:48:42Speaker 3: wasn't like this at all, Like there was no bad
- 1:48:44Speaker 3: blood on the first one.
- 1:48:46Speaker 1: Ah, so it might have been so I got I
- 1:48:48Speaker 1: got a bad feedback from that one. But you're saying
- 1:48:50Speaker 1: that you would just try.
- 1:48:51Speaker 6: To I would just I would want to laugh. I
- 1:48:53Speaker 6: would I would just laugh whenever when someone was like
- 1:48:55Speaker 6: Francis and I'd be.
- 1:48:56Speaker 3: Like, I mean my whole show to you, that would
- 1:49:01Speaker 3: be the same.
- 1:49:01Speaker 6: And I want I want to see how long could
- 1:49:03Speaker 6: I commit to Actually you did that staying with the
- 1:49:06Speaker 6: game plan.
- 1:49:07Speaker 1: No, you would lose a game plan you did this.
- 1:49:11Speaker 3: If you did that on this last case race, you
- 1:49:14Speaker 3: would have came out and be like, dude, Francis is
- 1:49:15Speaker 3: the fucking best, Like I love him.
- 1:49:18Speaker 6: Yah, that's what I need.
- 1:49:19Speaker 1: No, but you'd be six beers in. You'd be like,
- 1:49:20Speaker 1: big caw, why don't you say hi to me?
- 1:49:22Speaker 3: Why do I have to call you by your fucking yeah?
- 1:49:24Speaker 1: Yeah at the Cowboy callar tackle you get your attention
- 1:49:27Speaker 1: in public.
- 1:49:28Speaker 3: It was like seven dudes in a room, like furiously drunk,
- 1:49:32Speaker 3: like angry.
- 1:49:33Speaker 1: Damn as it as is.
- 1:49:35Speaker 4: I mean, I guess that's what you're supposed to do.
- 1:49:37Speaker 1: I don't know that's what happened to the body when
- 1:49:39Speaker 1: you drink like that. Yeah, it's kind of fucking sweet,
- 1:49:42Speaker 1: it's kind of fucking fun, but whatever it is. I
- 1:49:44Speaker 1: feel like this has kind of broken the seal, and
- 1:49:47Speaker 1: I hope that you can come back and do more.
- 1:49:49Speaker 1: Ship out. We saw Large and the lobby and he
- 1:49:51Speaker 1: was like, uh, you know, come come back and do
- 1:49:54Speaker 1: some Whenever they're planning, I don't want to spoil it.
