- 1:29Speaker 3: you on the other side. Earners, what's going on?
- 1:30Speaker 2: You are now locking the cliff Notes the number one
- 1:32Speaker 2: place for investment strategies, tips and advice.
- 1:35Speaker 4: Let's talk about something real quick if we can. That's
- 1:36Speaker 4: a hot topic, the stimulus check. A lot of people
- 1:39Speaker 4: are getting their stimulus checks, so you know, this might
- 1:43Speaker 4: be the first opportunity. It was some jokes online about
- 1:46Speaker 4: like I'm gonna get the stimulus and I'm gonna buy
- 1:48Speaker 4: the ocean and get LLC.
- 1:50Speaker 5: You want Ruth Chris to bring out the food with
- 1:52Speaker 5: the other half.
- 1:54Speaker 4: But but but you know, all in all jokes, there's
- 1:58Speaker 4: some level of like true. So this is an opportunity
- 2:01Speaker 4: for some people that you know, they might be their
- 2:04Speaker 4: first opportunity to invest. You know, it's not anything that's
- 2:06Speaker 4: going to be life changing, but they might be able
- 2:08Speaker 4: to invest a thousand dollars for the first time. They
- 2:11Speaker 4: might have been piled up on bills, they might have
- 2:13Speaker 4: been you know, just living day to day, and this
- 2:15Speaker 4: is an opportunity for them to get, you know, additional
- 2:18Speaker 4: a couple thousand dollars and now they might be able
- 2:20Speaker 4: to put a thousand dollars.
- 2:21Speaker 2: So yeah, and for some families that they can earn
- 2:23Speaker 2: up to eighty two hundred, depending on how much they
- 2:25Speaker 2: make and if they have children. I know a family
- 2:27Speaker 2: of four that makes under one hundred and fifty thousand,
- 2:30Speaker 2: I think you can get up to eighty two hundred.
- 2:32Speaker 2: So you're talking about even if you invest half of that.
- 2:34Speaker 2: That's a very nice starting point for somebody to be investing.
- 2:37Speaker 4: So the next question is, okay, like if I never invested,
- 2:39Speaker 4: I got a stimulus, I got a couple thousand or thousand, whatever,
- 2:42Speaker 4: what should I invest? So I'll let everybody give their
- 2:43Speaker 4: two cents on it. But we spoke about before. Index
- 2:46Speaker 4: funds is always a great way, especially for new investors, beginners.
- 2:51Speaker 4: You know, the Russell two thousand, the S and P
- 2:53Speaker 4: five hundred are two probably of the main indexes for
- 3:00Speaker 4: so if you're just starting out, you've never invested ever,
- 3:04Speaker 4: this is an easy way where you can go. There's
- 3:08Speaker 4: no fee, no commission, you can invest your money and
- 3:12Speaker 4: now at least you can get your feet wet. And
- 3:14Speaker 4: then also if you want to have start investing for
- 3:16Speaker 4: your child. You know we spoke about this before, but
- 3:20Speaker 4: you know every week there might be somebody new that's watching.
- 3:22Speaker 4: So of course you can open up a five to
- 3:24Speaker 4: twenty nine plan if you are interested in investing for
- 3:27Speaker 4: your child's education. Each state offers their own five twenty
- 3:31Speaker 4: nine plan. Depending on which state you live in, you
- 3:33Speaker 4: get a tax benefit for that state. Or you can
- 3:36Speaker 4: invest in an UTMAH which is a custodio account, and
- 3:39Speaker 4: once again you can invest in the index fund. You
- 3:42Speaker 4: can invest in ETFs, which we talk about a lot,
- 3:45Speaker 4: or you can invest in some of the companies that
- 3:47Speaker 4: you know are the most obvious Apple, Google things to
- 3:51Speaker 4: the nature of Microsoft, Think the Nature. So you know,
- 3:54Speaker 4: like I said, we want to we talk about a
- 3:56Speaker 4: lot of advanced stuff, high level stuff, but we can
- 3:58Speaker 4: never forget that somebody somebody's watching that has never invested,
- 4:02Speaker 4: and they might be their first time watching. So we
- 4:04Speaker 4: never want to go too fast that we're leaving people behind.
- 4:09Speaker 3: It's the same thing that we've always said.
- 4:12Speaker 2: Obviously, we said Ian has reiterated every Monday right too,
- 4:16Speaker 2: and THATX is two techs.
- 4:18Speaker 3: And I always tell people, yes, that's true.
- 4:19Speaker 2: But if you're trying to find which are the companies
- 4:21Speaker 2: that you should do, if you're looking at tech, I
- 4:23Speaker 2: always tell you look around you.
- 4:24Speaker 3: What are you investing in? Where are you spending your money?
- 4:27Speaker 2: Are you shopping on Amazon that's a publicly traded company,
- 4:30Speaker 2: please invest? Do you have Apple products? Are you watching
- 4:34Speaker 2: us right now on a MacBook? Do you use an iPhone?
- 4:36Speaker 2: If you're listening to us? Are you on air buds?
- 4:39Speaker 2: If you're doing all those things, you're already investing in
- 4:41Speaker 2: the compan You're already a consumer in the company. Why
- 4:43Speaker 2: not be an owner in the company. And so those
- 4:45Speaker 2: are things that you should look at if you're looking
- 4:47Speaker 2: at tech or where are you're spending your money?
- 4:49Speaker 5: Right?
- 4:50Speaker 3: And I love you. We had this conversation with people.
- 4:52Speaker 2: We talked about Dominoes being a tech company, like, if
- 4:54Speaker 2: you're spending every Friday, you're getting your kids Dominoes, you
- 4:57Speaker 2: probably should invest in it.
- 4:58Speaker 5: Their run is crazy.
- 5:00Speaker 2: If Nike is a company that you're buying every month
- 5:02Speaker 2: for your children and their reporting their earnings this week,
- 5:05Speaker 2: you probably should own some SoC and Nike. Don't overcomplicate it,
- 5:10Speaker 2: follow your money. This episode is brought to you by

- 7:37Speaker 7: s A m oh, but it looks like tessela.
- 7:41Speaker 5: Well you gave it the oh baby, old baby.
- 7:45Speaker 7: Like like if I call something that I really messed
- 7:49Speaker 7: up over Vacs and Sam Adams, I'll should have called
- 7:52Speaker 7: last year, Sam Anne and Adams chart is insane. If
- 7:56Speaker 7: we go through charts today, all show it and then
- 7:58Speaker 7: AMD for those of you are new ssex good.
- 8:00Speaker 5: You got to hold it for five year period.
- 8:02Speaker 7: But Sam Adams, you wouldn't think there would be one
- 8:04Speaker 7: of those companies that are so.
- 8:05Speaker 5: Dominant but them and Dominoes. I means pizza and beer
- 8:10Speaker 5: sells itself. But AMD is sixty four is a good
- 8:13Speaker 5: one as well, but you have to hold for five years.
- 8:17Speaker 4: Kevin played on YouTube said can you show us step
- 8:20Speaker 4: by step on how to get started? So I'm gonna
- 8:23Speaker 4: do this in two steps. So Kevin, this is for you.
- 8:27Speaker 4: You open up td amerit Trade, you download the app.
- 8:30Speaker 4: Td americ Trade is free. No, td americ Trade is
- 8:33Speaker 4: not the only app you can do fidelity. You can
- 8:35Speaker 4: do Robinhood. I'm just using it an example. You download
- 8:39Speaker 4: td amerit trade right, you open up You're going to
- 8:42Speaker 4: open up a brokerage acount. They're gonna give you like
- 8:44Speaker 4: different options of what kind of account you want to
- 8:46Speaker 4: open up. You can open up an IRA account, you
- 8:48Speaker 4: can open up a rough IRA account, you can open
- 8:50Speaker 4: a studio account. But if you want to just start
- 8:51Speaker 4: with yourself, you open up a brokerage account. They're going
- 8:54Speaker 4: to ask you like a bunch of different questions. Your
- 8:56Speaker 4: level of investment, how much money you make da da
- 8:59Speaker 4: pretty self explained or you answer those questions. Now. Once
- 9:02Speaker 4: you have it up and running, you have to link
- 9:04Speaker 4: your bank account. You link your bank account information with
- 9:08Speaker 4: the brokerage account that allows you to transfer money. You
- 9:11Speaker 4: transfer money from your bank account is going to go
- 9:14Speaker 4: into your broke account. Take a couple of days. When
- 9:16Speaker 4: it gets there. You can buy an index. S p
- 9:21Speaker 4: Y is the S and P five hundred index. You
- 9:23Speaker 4: type in s p Y and it's gonna say buy
- 9:28Speaker 4: and then you buy it.
- 9:30Speaker 5: That's that's what we talked about it before. Maybe we
- 9:33Speaker 5: should just do it live next week.
- 9:35Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, I don't know. It's kind of self explanatory,
- 9:38Speaker 4: but we can if that's need.
- 9:42Speaker 7: You have different types of learners, some visual, some auditory.
- 9:46Speaker 5: Right, yeah.
- 9:49Speaker 4: So yeah, so hopefully that was that was helpful. Yeah,
- 9:54Speaker 4: because there's always somebody that's like, well teach me, you
- 9:56Speaker 4: don't show me how try trying.
- 9:59Speaker 3: To open and opening account for me. Well, that's the
- 10:02Speaker 3: next thing that.
- 10:04Speaker 4: I wanted. I want to just bring somebody on for
- 10:06Speaker 4: a few minutes because there was some some breaking news
- 10:10Speaker 4: that broke out and this might affect a lot of people.
- 10:14Speaker 4: So we have to always educated, always at every given moment.
- 10:18Speaker 3: Let's see, is he there?
- 10:23Speaker 5: Yeah, that's a sleeper.
- 10:29Speaker 2: And for those of you that are in the crypto space,
- 10:31Speaker 2: we're not going to ignore that. Crypto went up to
- 10:33Speaker 2: sixty two thousand yesterday, We're not going to bigcoin went
- 10:37Speaker 2: up to sixty two thousand yesterday. I pulled back it
- 10:39Speaker 2: said fifty six uh six right now, uh And we're
- 10:42Speaker 2: not gonna ignore that. In the past six days that
- 10:45Speaker 2: you know, that topic we kept talking about with Mark
- 10:47Speaker 2: Cuban and Gary Vee's been on fire. That's all they're
- 10:51Speaker 2: putting out is n F n F T. I mean
- 10:53Speaker 2: I read business in inciety. They had an NFT section.
- 10:56Speaker 2: On Sunday, I read Wall Street Journal. They had an
- 10:58Speaker 2: NFT section, not an article and section. I read Forbes
- 11:02Speaker 2: the same thing, sixty three sixty nine sixty nine million
- 11:07Speaker 2: dollar purchase.
- 11:10Speaker 3: Digital. Al Right, don't let that go.
- 11:11Speaker 4: Yeah, I gotta talk to that guy. Bibel people, people,
