- 1:58when you're here. Dingo is here with us today.
- 2:00So yellow. Yo, what's up, man?
- 2:03Good seeing you again. Kevin, you know, always a
- 2:07pleasure and it is a pleasure. It is, it is an honor and a
- 2:10privilege, my good sir. Feels like a while since we've
- 2:13seen each other face to face. I think the last time we beheld
- 2:17each other's vistage was during Seeger.
- 2:20Bloat was gonna say was yeah, behold envisage, right?
- 2:24That that sounds more than what it actually is, but This week
- 2:27when we saw each other's face, which I did talk about on the
- 2:34last, you know, podcast it seems like, oh, you know, that's all
- 2:37you talk about is, is the tribal stuff or the, or the events I'm
- 2:40like, hey, it's something to talk about, right?
- 2:42It's like Bonnie Raitt, baby. Let's give them something to
- 2:45talk about. Well, how about bloat?
- 2:48Or how about Seeger? Bloats right?
- 2:52It was good. And it was a great ride by our
- 2:55best wicker man, ever. Dude, I mean we've got we've got
- 2:59a tall order to fill next year. I am so proud of how that turned
- 3:04out, right? I'm so proud, just from like the
- 3:07one year to the next, like, looking back on the first one, I
- 3:10was like, wow, like it looked great at that time.
- 3:12And it is great because it was, you know, the intent behind it
- 3:14all. But like just the, the
- 3:17construction of the latest one, the newest one was so I don't
- 3:22know, man. It was like Patrick did a super
- 3:25super job with the Engineering of it all getting the right next
- 3:29year. We're going to have to like
- 3:31build one of those like 20 foot or exact out in the yard.
- 3:34Like not even in the woods, you know.
- 3:36Just yeah we need ladders and shit.
- 3:38Yeah. Like pallets and stuff or
- 3:41whatever. Yeah,
- 3:55yeah. Yeah.
- 4:06And just, you know, for you in case you missed it like the the
- 4:10with Kya reading the ritual. I mean, it lined up great with
- 4:15everything because I saw a lot of people around that time
- 4:18talking about their rituals and I remember seeing one person
- 4:21online only remember where or who stress in a bit about, oh,
- 4:25I've got to lead this ritual. I've got holy lead, this ritual,
- 4:28I'm nervous and this and I'm like, hey, you know, a
- 4:31six-year-old can do it right? You can do it.
- 4:34Like, don't stress yourself. Yeah, she did a great job.
- 4:38Yeah, so a lot of stuff to be proud of and I'm just, I'm super
- 4:44glad that, you know, we got, we got to experience all that
- 4:48together. Miss Miss can, you know, I hope
- 4:50he knows that he was missed so But that's what, that's how it
- 4:55goes, sometimes. You know, we do what we can, you
- 4:57know, but aside from that man, what else is going on?
- 5:04Well, you know, today, Monday things, Monday things,
- 5:24Fun. Little playdate was awesome.
- 5:27Good good. Well, I'm glad man, my weekend
- 5:31was spent with just chilling. Mostly we went yard saling, not
- 5:40sailing on the yard and the sense of we didn't put ships or
- 5:44boats onto the yard, right. We went we went driving around
- 5:49get out the old land canoe. Wasn't like that the the climate
- 5:57didn't suit us. That there was not a lot of good
- 5:59head winds but no, we don't usually go.
- 6:04But, you know, Vanessa was like hey you want to get up to you
- 6:07know go ahead like community yard sales.
- 6:11Yeah and she and her parents usually go and stuff.
- 6:14I was like well I'm not going to get up early to do it and we
- 6:17didn't it was, you know, because they thought it was going to, we
- 6:19thought was going to rain. So we wouldn't even really plan
- 6:22that much for it. But we did.
- 6:24Up going to some like, community art sales and spend time, you
- 6:30know, with her folks for the latter, half of the later
- 6:34morning, early afternoon and then the rest of the weekend
- 6:37was, you know, just kind of chilling.
- 6:39I made this, you know, room set out of that redbud tree, which
- 6:45I've for everybody that's listening to the podcast.
- 6:48If you are not following me on on Facebook, Twitter, Or
- 6:53Instagram or subscribe to the YouTube channel.
- 6:56Then what are you doing with your life?
- 6:59First, of all, number one, number two, it's all posted
- 7:02there, check it out. It's the redbud tree that it was
- 7:06on my father-in-law's. And, you know, where they live a
- 7:10couple of blocks down, they just needed to trim the tree and, and
- 7:17maintain the property line. So, you know, some of those,
- 7:20some of those limbs have Then turned into one of them.
- 7:25You know, the one of the main limbs of the tree is has or is
- 7:28going to become a tribal Relic. So it's a staff.
- 7:33It's going to be a ritual staff. It's a rather blown red flower
- 7:38staff. So and then there's other pieces
- 7:40that I've used to make some room sets.
- 7:43Well, one room said, I think I have enough material to make at
- 7:45least another one maybe two, but I don't use like, drum rolls or
- 7:52satay. Us to cut the pieces.
- 7:53It's all, you know, Hands-On stays the same, you know, same
- 7:59theme, you know, with a lot of what we do with the Tribune, no
- 8:03power tools. Now I will say that part of the
- 8:06tree that I'm making them stuff from did get removed with a
- 8:12chainsaw. It was electric chainsaw because
- 8:17it's what my father-in-law had now was, you know, for the sake
- 8:19of time and efficiency? Well, let's let's let's make it
- 8:23a little bit easier on ourselves but the Rune sets themselves,
- 8:25like I, you know, cut them into pieces by hand and use the wood
- 8:28burner to do it all, and then sanded them hand and smooth them
- 8:32all out and all that. So it's a lot of a lot of
- 8:35physical effort focused on with, with minimal power, tools
- 8:39needed, but the, the that was a fun project, you know.
- 8:44For everybody again, listening if you're looking to get a very
- 8:47unique Rune set this these you know sets you can't you can't
- 8:51buy online not that I know I've never.
- 8:54Seen or heard of Redbud Rune sets online.
- 8:59Speaking of my in-laws, by the way, it's pouring down, rain
- 9:02outside. And here he comes, I can hear
- 9:04the dogs outside. Going crazy, because he just let
- 9:07him and I'm like, it's muddy and wet outside and he comes over
- 9:10and lets him out. Then I'm going to have a nice
- 9:14mess to clean up in the floor. I'm sure.
- 9:17Because of their muddy wet paw prints, right?
- 9:21But anywho it's all good. The Rune set, solids will be
- 9:27dogs dogs, dogs, dogs. Dogs are going to dog, man.
- 9:30I mean that's really good. You know potatoes going to
- 9:34potate Haters Gonna Hate and dogs gonna canine the dog and
- 9:45that's alright I'd rather have that kind of mess.
- 9:47You know? I mean at least it's wholesome
- 9:49it's this house is it? This house is a mess but it's an
- 9:53organized mess and it's in some messages.
- 9:56Coexist with the Vets here and our pets are our
- 10:01representations. I think oftentimes of the
- 10:04spirits that dwell within the home, they can manifest
- 10:07themselves through the pets at least, you know, they can make
- 10:12themselves known through the vents.
- 10:15That's another fun thing, right? You know, the about sigur blood,
- 10:18we got a new pet here from singer blows.
- 10:20Hmm. Yeah, talk about little Cosmo
- 10:25will salamander He looks like the cosmos.
- 10:27He's black with little tiny white.
- 10:30Looks like the cosmos. Yeah, you know.
- 10:34And he's cool, dude. I never seen one quite like
- 10:40that. Like I remember finding
- 10:42salamanders and stuff in the wild, you know, because, you
- 10:45know, you move rocks and Limbs and stuff in those wet areas and
- 10:48they're like, pretty prolific, but I don't remember seeing one
- 10:53and maybe it's a pretty common like coloration or markings but
- 10:56the The white spots on black body.
- 11:00I've never found one like that. Okay, whichever it ends up being
- 11:21it's too little for me to sex it right doing good.
- 11:33Did your did your volume change or something?
- 11:36Your you kind of sound a little, okay?
- 11:43All right. Sounds like a little.
- 11:45It was a little far away. But yeah, yeah.
- 11:56So sounds like your little bit low on the volume but we'll make
- 12:01it work but so yeah, I remember like from up north where I live
- 12:06the, the salamanders that were Native had like almost orange
- 12:10skins like their their skin was orange.
- 12:12Black spots so I guess it's just maybe a native coloration thing.
- 12:20But yeah, yeah. So yeah, that's cool.
- 12:29Right. You know, the of a tear that I
- 12:32mean that's definitely something of the wild, you know, the the
- 12:36living outside of the confines of the Of the Hearth.
- 12:44So yeah, I don't know this, this whole like family thing.
- 12:51It's kind of why I wanted to or what I wanted to talk about
- 12:54today. Family can Blood right?
- 13:01The, the connection that we have with family and how that
- 13:05connection can be, severed disrupted damaged, you know,
- 13:15over time through actions through deeds and what that
- 13:19means to us as heathens specifically, because the family
- 13:24unit, I think the the clan structure, you know, Is very old
- 13:30and it's kind it's construct, right?
- 13:32Like it's the basis of where we find a lot of cultures it's you
- 13:38know, home is where the heart is that the Hearth is, you know,
- 13:43sanctity its sacred. It's its sovereign.
- 13:48Right. And that extends beyond the
- 13:51immediate Hearth and into the the come the combined blending
- 13:57of Hearts, you know, when when when families and clans blend
- 14:01and mesh, you know you have what becomes tribe you know.
- 14:06And so this the sovereignity I guess that's the right word.
- 14:12The Sovereign nature of it, all is Paramount to get me means a
- 14:16lot to us, you know, and when any of that, Sovereignity and
- 14:22then any that sanctity gets you know damage for whatever reason,
- 14:25I get it hits such a nerve, you know.
- 14:30So we see this a lot in Heathen re and paganism in general,
- 14:34especially when there's dissension of, you know, the
- 14:40religious aspects of this whole thing from Christian families.
- 14:45You know, people that have that have come from Christian homes
- 14:47and Christian backgrounds and people that are very devout and
- 14:51and exclusive to their spirituality and their religious
- 14:54beliefs in that way. And I don't mean to like lump
- 14:58everybody into the same categories because I've met and
- 15:02been introduced and close to enough people who I would say
- 15:07are fundamentally Christian. But that are not.
- 15:12So yeah, but yeah, but that aren't just so, you know,
- 15:16exclusive to the point where they condemn you, or they
- 15:19ostracize you or they shun you for differing beliefs, you know,
- 15:23they're accepting to the point and they hold to their beliefs,
- 15:26and I congratulate that like I 100% would not want anybody to
- 15:32stop being devout in their beliefs.
- 15:34Just like I would expect the same respect from from those
- 15:38Ike. Hey, don't don't.
- 15:40Don't try to shoot me down for for my approach to things and I
- 15:43won't shoot you down for yours, you know.
- 15:51Since I was a kid was kind of a hobby, you know?
- 15:58And Christianity is one of the very few that I've seen where
- 16:03you have like Christian or non-Christian.
- 16:07Hatred. And that's a very bizarre
- 16:11concept to be of like, You're not this.
- 16:16So you're going to hell and I'm like but you're on the same
- 16:21team, right? Right.
- 16:25There's all the different isn't the different, what I call him
- 16:30sects, right SEC, T sects isms, I will call him, you know,
- 16:37there's baptism, you know, I heard things like that.
- 16:47A lot of, what does that mean? I don't, but that was like, the
- 16:52Pinnacle of monotheism was Catholicism like even though I
- 16:58will always contend that, you know, you're just relabeling
- 17:03paganism. If you're Catholic, the saints
- 17:07were Gods, you know, the rituals were Pagan rituals and now
- 17:12you're just, you know, putting it into a Check the feed roll.
- 17:18No relabeling it to fit the demographic.
- 17:26Yeah. Oh yeah, for sure.
- 17:35And, and that that like you say, you know, just from having come
- 17:39from a Christian background, myself and seeing the, the
- 17:43infighting, as it were, or the, the opposition from other.
- 17:48Because, I mean, I brought I was brought up in a
- 17:50non-denominational, you know, Coach to the whole thing and
- 17:57largely. Now I won't even say largely
- 18:00entirely like other denominations of Christianity
- 18:05were considered wrong. You know, like so it was, you
- 18:12know, that they're there was, there was wrong, there were
- 18:14there were wrong things with backed, it Baptist, it was wrong
- 18:17things, with Pentecostals, there was wrong things with
- 18:18Presbyterians Catholics, especially there was a, there
- 18:22was a, there was a palpable disdain for Catholics, and that
- 18:27might be a whole other. I might get Richard in on that
- 18:29one because of the, because of the auto, man, there was like, a
- 18:35whole like decade-long study in the church.
- 18:39That I went to devoted to like the Book of Revelations in the
- 18:43Prophecies of the move, the New Testament and some of that stuff
- 18:46and like it was really fascinating if you look at it
- 18:49from a theological standpoint but it but it all points back
- 18:53to, you know, Babylon is Rome the Roman Catholic church and
- 18:56the the Beast of the Revelation. The Antichrist is is a Roman
- 18:59Catholic, pope and all this like, really wild stuff, man.
- 19:04And I just, you know, when I look back at it all and see, see
- 19:09the pure disdain for not just other religions non-Christian
- 19:19religions but the disdain for actual other denominations
- 19:24within Christianity. I was like, well it's either you
- 19:27know you or nothing at that point, you know?
- 19:30Like there's no room for for there's no gray area.
- 19:35And the gray area is kind of where I want to focus on with
- 19:40this particular podcast because the gray area exists.
- 19:46There are no, there are no absolutes.
- 19:49Right in religion. Would you, I mean, would you say
- 19:53that? There's that, that's a fair
- 19:54statement. There's too many variables,
- 19:56there's too many things that you can do you study.
- 20:07Black and white. There is no good and evil there.
- 20:10Like it's all very much left to interpretation.
- 20:15Yeah. And I mean
- 20:32there's caveat is, you know, yeah.
- 20:36It's you know, definitely don't do this.
- 20:37Yes. But at the same time, I want you
- 20:39to do this, if they go against me.
- 20:43Okay, that seems pretty egotistical egomaniacal even of
- 20:50a deity, which, you know, hey, let's call it the way it is.
- 20:54I mean, the god of Abraham, Isaac.
- 20:56And Jacob is a pretty, he's an egomaniac.
- 21:01But, you know, suffice that to say, that's cool.
- 21:08You know, like do your thing but in a, you know, the acceptance
- 21:15of it, the hold the gray area. I wanted to mention something
- 21:19because again, I'm going to speak.
- 21:21I'm going to speak freely here and I know before we started
- 21:26airing this, you were like, hey, you know, can I speak freely to
- 21:29and on my apps? Freaking lutely.
- 21:31Because why else would we be here doing this?
- 21:34If if we couldn't I had a recent not even an interaction, I won't
- 21:41even call it an interaction but I noticed something recently,
- 21:45you know. And I've talked to here on this
- 21:48podcast and bingo, you know, specifically because I you know
- 21:52your I confide in you a lot with things that I don't publicly
- 21:58share but To the extent that I have talked about the the
- 22:02estrangement that I've experienced with my family.
- 22:05My actual family, my blood family, my my blood can you know
- 22:10the roots from which I've grown literally right parents siblings
- 22:15that sort of thing. And the estrangement that I've
- 22:17felt and the excommunication that has that has befallen me
- 22:22for my beliefs and kind of where I've fallen in that with, with
- 22:27how I feel with it already, you know, accepting it.
- 22:31But still feeling the sting in the pain of man, why does it
- 22:35have to be this way? So I know at least in the past
- 22:41that members of my family, see what I post, they see my YouTube
- 22:47channel, they've they've confronted me about my image.
- 22:51My You know, looking possessed, right?
- 22:57Because of the of the ritual attire that I wear whatever.
- 23:00And I'm like, You know, whatever that's a thing.
- 23:05But so anyway, this is for them. This is for them that that if
- 23:08you're still watching and if you're still in a murdered with
- 23:10what I do. And if you still have the spare
- 23:13time to want to be focused on what I do, then I'm still here
- 23:19and so my sister. My sister, her husband, and my
- 23:23niece, their daughter who will be turning a year next month.
- 23:28No, next. Yeah, I believe, next month,
- 23:31next month of July. I remember, I think she was born
- 23:33into June, so she's, you know, right around, almost a year old.
- 23:38I've never met her a day in my life.
- 23:39We were supposed to go up to New York, to meet her to, you know,
- 23:44be introduced and everything. And I was, I was told that I
- 23:46wasn't welcome and so, you know, we're still, we're still
- 23:49connected on social media. And but haven't really talked to
- 23:55any of the great degree since anyway, notice the post from my
- 24:00sister, where they went to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
- 24:10Now, from where my siblings, where my sibling and her husband
- 24:17and their daughter live in New York, still to Myrtle Beach.
- 24:21South Carolina is about a 12-hour Drive.
- 24:26Put that in respect to where I live in Tennessee.
- 24:29Is about a 13-hour drive from New York to there for, you know,
- 24:32from from here to New York from, you know.
- 24:33So you're talking like an hour and a half two hour difference
- 24:37may be depending on when you stop traffic, that sort of
- 24:39thing. They've never once taken a trip
- 24:44down to Tennessee to see me and the nature of their trip to
- 24:48Myrtle Beach. South Carolina was to attend the
- 24:53funeral of my brother-in-law's friend's father.
- 25:02Not a family member and I get it that family doesn't always mean
- 25:06blood because that's what we're here to talk about a dear friend
- 25:09of his his father died. They made a 12-hour one-way trip
- 25:16for the weekend or whatever how you know however many days to as
- 25:20he put it, pay their respects, attend the service.
- 25:26Now. Again, I'm looking at that and
- 25:31I'm going. my wife, your literal sister-in-law their sister, you
- 25:40know I'm saying their sister-in-law suffered a
- 25:44grievous family loss last year and I did not expect and I would
- 25:51not expect anybody to make a 12-hour long, drive or 13, our
- 25:5514, our long drive to attend their services, but I sure as
- 26:00shit would have expected a message, a text A card or
- 26:05something in the mail to express condolences because it wasn't
- 26:09concealed and it wasn't private and it was very well known that
- 26:14this had happened. She suffered a tragic loss.
- 26:18I am your literal brother. I'm your brother-in-law.
- 26:21You are Ken and blood to me. You don't want to talk to me.
- 26:25You don't want me to have anything to do with your family
- 26:27because of quite honestly, shallow, ignorant reasons,
- 26:32you're uneducated, you don't know what the hell you're
- 26:34talking about, and I'm here to put you that in that pin, that
- 26:37in that place. But you will drive 13 hours to
- 26:45Attend, the funeral of your best friend's father?
- 26:51Good for you, good for you for having a sense, good for you,
- 26:56for having an understanding of respect for the dead and
- 27:01respect, for those who are nearest and dearest you
- 27:04apparently, I don't fall in that category.
- 27:06I don't fall into the category of nearest and dearest even
- 27:08though I've literally been with you, your whole life even though
- 27:11I'm the one who was your nearest and dearest friend for most of
- 27:13your life even though that despite the mistakes and stuff
- 27:16that I made, I made amends to correct those things to be near
- 27:20and dear to you. Once again, and having done that
- 27:24and having been true to myself and, you know, express myself in
- 27:27my True Form have been excommunicated and have been
- 27:30denied that opportunity to meet my niece, my blood, my own kin.
- 27:38I've been disallowed the opportunity to be tied in that
- 27:41sort of way. And I'm going to get real, and
- 27:46I'm going to say what's that? I'm going to get real to you
- 27:53know like that last one, the the whole photo shoot thing.
- 28:01I was a black metal artist for 10 years, I play Black metal and
- 28:07doom metal. I did added noise ambient
- 28:09project, you know, I was in Wooten the liquor, it's all
- 28:16Showbiz. Yeah, it's ShowBiz theater.
- 28:23Do you think I like go to work and Corp State?
- 28:26You know like know you lot cooler if you did.
- 28:41Yes, you know, I've done music
- 28:52videos, I've done photo shoots, I, you know, interviews, the all
- 28:57the things and, you know, like you it's Showbiz in order to
- 29:01promote whatever Medium. You're putting out, you have to
- 29:06make it interesting. You have Naked.
- 29:09You have to act? Yeah, it's Showbiz.
- 29:13It's not and in the religious or the spiritual aspects of it,
- 29:18it's the ritual theater parts of paganism are very well
- 29:25celebrated. I feel there's a lot of, you
- 29:27know dress the part. It's kind of like this right
- 29:29now. You think I you think I walk
- 29:30around town looking like a fucking Druid?
- 29:34Yeah. Or are you know what I'm saying?
- 29:35Like I don't I don't dress like this all the time I mean it
- 29:38would be neat but it's not practical and it doesn't work
- 29:41and it's not you know this is a thing this is this is you know
- 29:44Again, it's theater. It's for the entertainment
- 29:47factor in, and it doesn't take away from my true self, but it's
- 29:50just part of myself. It's one of the parts of myself,
- 29:57you know, and I don't know. I'm
- 30:21especially at the time the time the time that you know there was
- 30:34at the 30s some like 34 I mean you know just considering like
- 30:38the culture at the time and the way the world was I mean just
- 30:42like that was like You know, pretty brave. but, Right or
- 30:56whatever. Like the good guy, you know, and
- 31:01they got blood spattered all over their face.
- 31:03You know. Like yeah and and I've you know,
- 31:17I reached the point last year where I felt like I had put it
- 31:21to bed that I had put the whole You know, the estranged
- 31:27relationship and how it affected me, and how it impacts me on a
- 31:30day-to-day basis that had been laid to rest.
- 31:34I felt like, at the time, I was over it and that I was no longer
- 31:40affected by it and I would be lying if I said that seeing that
- 31:47didn't hurt and doesn't hurt. And I'm kind of in a position
- 31:53right now where I'm opening this us up in a way to offload vent
- 32:00but also to share for awareness and welcome input.
- 32:06How do we deal with this? How do we deal with the
- 32:09repeated? Because, look, I mean, I I put
- 32:13myself through the potential distress by remaining connected
- 32:19with them by having them on my Facebook, by having them, on my
- 32:22social media by staying visible to them in this way.
- 32:27And so, could it be argued that? Well, if you really, and truly
- 32:31were over it, then you would sever all ties.
- 32:33And you would just literally we cut the head off of the off of
- 32:38the thing and then be done with it.
- 32:40That's really hard to do. That's really hard for me to do
- 32:44at least because, you know, I mean, like I don't want to I
- 32:50don't want to be the one to do that.
- 32:52I don't want to. I don't want to be the one that
- 32:53said I'm done with you. Goodbye because I still have
- 32:59family. That's there.
- 33:00My dad you know who have not talked to for a long time who I
- 33:06used to talk to him once every day is, you know, not in good
- 33:10health and hasn't been for a very long time and I don't know
- 33:13when that day will ever come when he's Moving on, right?
- 33:18I don't want to be disconnected or dis or disassociate and
- 33:21separated to, I don't want to be the one to do that because I
- 33:23don't want to. I just don't want to think about
- 33:27what that's going to feel like, you know what I mean?
- 33:29Like, I'm being visceral and I'm being real to the point where
- 33:31it's like, I just kind of need a little bit of.
- 33:35I'm the one that's asking for some insight here.
- 33:37I'm the one that's asking for some.
- 33:40How do you cope with it? You know, here's how I'm doing
- 33:43it. I'm doing it right now by you
- 33:45know anonymously not even an honestly but I'm like whether
- 33:48you see this or not Bree Darren Mom, Dad Dom Danielle, all he is
- 33:53whether you see it or not. This is this is what I'm, this
- 33:59is what I'm saying, this is how I feel, but is it the best way?
- 34:02Could I be doing it better? You know, I know, right, maybe
- 34:12maybe that answer, maybe maybe an answer is not the answer for
- 34:16me, right? I mean it's probably specific.
- 34:22Yeah. What are you?
- 34:29Can't dictate how other people perceive something or feel about
- 34:33something. You know, that's not for you to
- 34:35do, that's for them to do. Yeah.
- 34:39I mean part of me won't you know, I want things to be.
- 34:51I do, I want, I want things to work and and and they obviously
- 34:58don't, otherwise we wouldn't be in this situation and so I'm
- 35:02left with the decision, I'm left with the, the thoughts that
- 35:06Mullen my mind is like, okay then, what am I even doing
- 35:09perpetuating? Something that is causing me so
- 35:13much distress. I don't know, it's a very weird
- 35:19place to be in and I feel like a lot of folks are find themselves
- 35:22in a similar scenario and are looking for you know, guidance
- 35:28and and here, everybody listening watching right here is
- 35:32a classic example of there's almost no one right answer,
- 35:36there really isn't. Because in some cases, yes, the
- 35:40best thing to do is just again, cut the head off, walk away, be
- 35:42done with it. But is that the right thing?
- 35:45To do in every case are what other factors are there?
- 35:48You know, there there's so many things that I don't know, man.
- 35:53I feel like, it's one of those things where you kind of have to
- 35:55bear that burden, in a way yourself, you have to, you have
- 35:59to walk solitary in. That way, you can have support
- 36:04from your community and you have support from tribe and and all
- 36:06that to just be able to offload invent.
- 36:09But at the end of the day, what are you going to do about it?
- 36:13Your decision is going to ultimately be the thing that
- 36:20ends up in the well, we've talked about that plenty of
- 36:24times here to on this podcast and I know the content as well.
- 36:27Do you know the layers of order log and and what we lay down in
- 36:31the well, what becomes who said that my great-grandfather, it's
- 36:47a very complex thing to say, you know, okay, so what what can you
- 36:53do? You don't like something?
- 36:56How do you fix it? Would, what can you do?
- 36:58And is what you're going to do in vain, you just going to be
- 37:03flogging, a dead horse. More.
- 37:07What are you gonna do change? You don't like it.
- 37:10Change it make it better. and it's not always that easy though
- 37:16you know but you still have to consider what you can do, what
- 37:22you're capable of changing, you can't change everything, you
- 37:25know like Do you remember the story I was telling you about?
- 37:32Wow, this is gonna get bad about my ex-wife and getting mad at me
- 37:38about the movie Melancholia. I think it's the it seems
- 37:46somewhat I think I remember basically there's an asteroid
- 37:50coming to Earth. It's like bigger than the moon.
- 37:57everybody's gonna die, you know, she was so mad at me that I said
- 38:03that I wouldn't try to change the path of the asteroid and I'm
- 38:09like, but it What are you going to do?
- 38:17I mean, it's inevitable fix that.
- 38:20Yeah. What are you going to do about
- 38:25it? But what are you capable of
- 38:27doing, you know, you can't move mountains nessus.
- 38:30How big is the thing that you're trying to battle or her face?
- 38:35I mean, if it's, if it's and that's a really good point, some
- 38:40things just can't be undone. Some things are just what they
- 38:44are. Like you say, I mean, it's a
- 38:46massive Force like that. I mean, it's kind of like, the
- 38:50Ragnarok thing, right? I mean, it's inevitable has
- 38:52been, there is no Changing the Fate, no matter how in the Odin
- 38:56has has, has known by many names.
- 39:03What, you know, being the Mad one because of his focus on
- 39:08trying to change the inevitable, trying to change the destiny.
- 39:11The Fate the, the ultimate thing that he is destined to to to
- 39:16endure, but the effort to try and change, it has driven him,
- 39:21mad and II feel As I talk through this.
- 39:26That I'm touching a little bit into that Realm Of The Madness
- 39:34of the just because it does. It's so consuming you know when
- 39:40you are impacted in such a way by someone else's actions, how
- 39:47much power do they have over? You Right.
- 39:52I mean without them, even trying, they have cast a spell
- 39:57of control over you because I'm sitting here talking about it
- 40:03and I'm venting to the public about it and I'm here, I'm here,
- 40:06you know podcast and about this whole thing because I felt like
- 40:09it's a relevant topic of conversation and then we all
- 40:12feel it and then So, is this an away is?
- 40:16It's the counterspell. Is this is this a way to release
- 40:18that from a lot of us. Why not try, what do we got to
- 40:28lose? What do we got to lose?
- 40:30And what do we have to gain? And that, as I think up to each
- 40:34and every one of us and on an individual level utilizing, the
- 40:40Resources that we have the support that we have, from where
- 40:43we have it, whether it's, you know, online communities,
- 40:46whether it's local grassroot tribes, whether it's whatever it
- 40:49is, right, because otherwise, man, we're going to work, it's
- 40:56going to eat us up. I reached the point last year at
- 41:01right around November then you know what I'm talking about
- 41:04where everything just kind of got reset.
- 41:07And I was like, okay it doesn't really matter.
- 41:10It's all good. It is what it is and slowly here
- 41:14and there things are creeping in and it's like, yeah.
- 41:17But does it, are you? Are you really okay?
- 41:21And I'm like struggling to find that place again where I was
- 41:25like, yeah, I really am. Okay, it Really doesn't matter.
- 41:29I get it. And what it is what it is,
- 41:33right? Thisis, what is it?
- 41:39SOC KSI is what it is. I mean it just is what it is but
- 41:46man it's so easy to say and I guess when you talk through it
- 41:50and you find that place where you were to feel it, that it is
- 41:53what it is and you just yeah, whatever.
- 41:56You remedy like you really are able to reminisce and recall
- 41:59that that experience. But I'll tell you what, boy?
- 42:01During that all. And when you are exposed to it
- 42:05in the moment, it really hits hard.
- 42:09Man. It hits such a nerve I don't
- 42:12know, it's the challenges. You write it puts it to the
- 42:24test. You don't really know unless
- 42:48you've been in that moment before.
- 42:53Yeah, it's you know, again. Celery.
- 43:24Well, he had it, he had it like in his jacket, but I could see
- 43:27like the outline of the metal and everything in his jacket.
- 43:30He's like, I'll shoot you, man. And I'm over celery.
- 43:38Like they're going to shoot me? I'll die.
- 43:52Oh, Over this stock. Damn it.
- 43:56I care about you I barely care about myself currently in my
- 43:59life right now. Like this Sofrito.
- 44:03Don't mean shit to me man. You know what though?
- 44:11I can't even imagine being a point in my life where I would
- 44:14be willing to fight or kill somebody over a stalk of celery.
- 44:19Like I don't care how bad it's going through.
- 44:29I mean I've had, I've had my life threatened a number of
- 44:31times just because of the line of work that I've been in but I
- 44:36remember being cut off in traffic.
- 44:40At like 6:00 in the morning on my way to you.
- 44:43I'm on my way to work. And I'm like, the guy cut me off
- 44:48in a like, it was a clear vial. He clearly like violated traffic
- 44:52rules to do it because I'm like, you could have just moved over.
- 44:55He's like, I'll kill you right here.
- 44:57He I got out of his truck. Is I'll shoot you right here.
- 44:59You son of a bitch and I'm like Okay.
- 45:03Then do it I guess. But I mean I got places to go.
- 45:06So are you gonna do it? Are you gonna like it was so
- 45:10weird like the weight like that Flex that whole thing over,
- 45:13something that doesn't really mean a whole hell of a lot at
- 45:15the end of the day. Yeah, you know, I mean I'm like
- 45:19so what you cut me off. Damn it.
- 45:21Likewise if anybody should be wanting to hurt somebody.
- 45:23It's me, you know, when you're over here, I'll kill you.
- 45:26Why for you breaking the law? You dumbass like shit and I say,
- 45:31you know, it's just it's nuts, man.
- 45:35You know, her mind.
- 45:49You know, and I said, Hey do you remember last night when you
- 45:53were playing in the the playground area at the arcade
- 45:55and that little girl was pushing your friend Michael?
- 46:00And she said, yeah, I said you can get mad about that.
- 46:05You can get mad when somebody is trying to hurt somebody.
- 46:08You care about trying to hurt you, you're allowed to get mad,
- 46:11you're allowed to have that anger and all of it, but this is
- 46:16sucks, man. But it's really what why does
- 46:22rage over something so insignificant at the end of the
- 46:26day, you're right. Yeah.
- 46:28It's you know, So I get, you know, I get it.
- 46:33It's you know, everything's relative to at the end of the
- 46:36day you know, what are you, what are you going to let?
- 46:40Dictate how you feel. And I admit like I saw that and
- 46:49I saw the responses and I was like, you gotta be kidding me.
- 46:51You mean to tell me that you would drive 13 hours, one way to
- 46:57visit your best friend's dad's funeral and you won't even come
- 47:00down here and say hi. And let me meet my niece.
- 47:02One time over the last year, you kidding me, I am offended.
- 47:08And hey, I guess I have that, right?
- 47:09But at the end of the day, Is it really?
- 47:10I mean what does this accomplish?
- 47:12Because look braid Aaron, like that's your kid.
- 47:15That's their daughter, man. I mean whether I'm right or not
- 47:23I guess it is what it is but you know what it's their daughter
- 47:26and they they're doing the best they think that they're doing
- 47:28and I you know who could be mad about that you know like that's
- 47:33that's their kid and they have her best interest in mind then
- 47:36if there are and if and if their child's best interest is to
- 47:39refrain from meeting someone like me who's You know, I mean,
- 47:44look at me. Yeah, right.
- 48:17Their daughter. That's where I have a problem
- 48:22because it's another place of safety of comfort of family.
- 48:28Its place to go. It's a place to be a place to
- 48:31belong and be accepted no matter what.
- 48:34And why would they want to take that away from her?
- 48:37Yeah, I mean because look I mean I could do it again to watch,
- 48:50you know, photoshoots and I went through a divorce.
- 48:56Yeah. Did any of that even bite me in
- 48:58the ass and Court know, like it doesn't mazur.
- 49:14Over nothing. Yeah.
- 49:19Oh, well, I guess I'll find out. I know your brother and you're
- 49:30not the only one. I mean, you're not the only one
- 49:32because again, I offload a lot of this type of stuff internally
- 49:36to, you know, my wife and and, and my in-laws and stuff, who,
- 49:41you know, again, they don't necessarily 100, like my
- 49:46father-in-law was sitting here the other day and I had the
- 49:48runes from the The tree that I cut help him, cut up on his
- 49:52property, you know, the runes are sitting in a bowl and I just
- 49:55finished them and he's like, oh is that the thing you made?
- 49:58Is he going to make, is that the thing you made from the tree?
- 50:00I was like, yeah. And there's some more, the
- 50:01branches over there. It's like okay, cool.
- 50:04You know. I mean like, this is totally
- 50:05cool about it. I'm like these people don't know
- 50:07anything about this whole thing and there, you know,
- 50:10fundamentally Christian and want so accepting of it because it
- 50:16doesn't, I mean, I'm not hurting anybody.
- 50:17But if anything I'm Displaying the fact that I get off from
- 50:21work on my spare time, right? I'll I got off of work today
- 50:25before the rain kicked in unannounced to mow yards because
- 50:31that's what I'm doing. That's, I mean, that's part of
- 50:33the, the, the maintaining, the literal maintenance of the
- 50:37Yards, the family unit, right? Like it's part of the physical
- 50:42Deeds to do at all. It's, you know, like that's what
- 50:45I'm going to do and that's what I've agreed to do.
- 50:46And that's I don't need a medal for that.
- 50:49I'm gonna be all good job like well, congratulations for doing
- 50:52your job like I don't believe in that like I don't need that sort
- 50:54of validation but the fact of the matter is is like, I'm not
- 50:57just some degenerate, you know? So terrible Maniac.
- 51:01That's like so disconnected from life because of all the drugs
- 51:03that I've done or whatever, you know what I mean?
- 51:06Like it's nothing like that. Like I'm with it in my mind and
- 51:09in my heart to the to the extent that.
- 51:11Okay. So just because I have a
- 51:13different view on my religion or my spirituality and it's live in
- 51:18that way. Doesn't just inherently, make me
- 51:20a bad person. I mean, like I literally spent a
- 51:23whole year's vacation a week and a half's worth of time to help
- 51:29them out. To help my family out up there,
- 51:32right. I mean, it's literally that
- 51:35wholesome. It's literally that where I
- 51:39just, I don't get it. I don't get the fact that you
- 51:40got to erase all of that and focus on the fact that you don't
- 51:45believe in God. First of all, I believe in the
- 51:49fact that he exists, I just don't subscribe to the beliefs
- 51:51of the Adoration and the veneration of that specific
- 51:55deity. Doesn't align with what I want
- 51:57to do. So anyway,
- 52:29It reminds me of those. It reminds me again.
- 52:31It's reminds me of those memes where you know, like me as a
- 52:34pagan. You know what, what the world
- 52:36thinks I do, what my girlfriend thinks I do, what my family
- 52:40thinks I do, what what I actually do, you know, when it's
- 52:44all different frames of things that, you know, You know kind of
- 52:48like what do you actually do your like sitting next to a fire
- 52:52just staring into it but they yeah or sleeping you know, or
- 52:57whatever. You know, reading a book you
- 52:59know something. So just just inherently harmful
- 53:03harmless and yeah, yeah. Like what?
- 53:18I'm trying to I'm trying to dress.
- 53:20I'm trying to look like RuPaul 24/7.
- 53:22No, you know like just Where are y'all come up with this shit cuz
- 53:32I didn't come up with it. I've had two.
- 53:35I've had two really like, think about lately, about the whole
- 53:39perception is reality thing, and it's such a distance, such a,
- 53:45it's such a Unfortunate aspect, you know, perception is reality.
- 53:52What, what is perceived? You know, you could be looking
- 53:56at dead-ass, facts, straight in the face.
- 54:00But if the perception of something is different than what
- 54:04the facts are then the facts don't mean nothing, it's
- 54:10philosophical conversation. I've had with many people about
- 54:13truth. I don't I don't know what truth
- 54:16is because your truth is different than my truth.
- 54:20The truth is relative. You can say no but there's the
- 54:23facts but yet people still don't accept that you're right.
- 54:26So it lets not truth to them. Yeah, you know, it is it's about
- 54:32perception. You know, like I've had people
- 54:36despise me for things that I never did in my life, never it
- 54:44never happened and they are so convinced that I did those
- 54:48things. Oh yeah.
- 54:50Hate me, but it never happened. So they're hating me for no
- 54:55reason. What kind of Truth is that?
- 54:57There is no truth to that because it never occurred.
- 55:01Yeah. But it occurred in their brain
- 55:03so much, that's their truth. Hmm.
- 55:07That's not my truth. You tell yourself Lorelei enough
- 55:10times you start believing it. but it's so it's hard to keep up
- 55:25with, you know, and It's doesn't matter cuz there's the me that I
- 55:31see in me and there's the me that my mom season me and
- 55:36there's the me that you see there's the me that my daughter
- 55:39sees in me. There's the me that my
- 55:41girlfriend sees in me. There's all these different mean
- 55:44he's in there, all me in there all I'm that way with all of it
- 55:49but none of those are actually me.
- 55:55That's where that truth lies is. It's very, very difficult to
- 55:59Define because Again these are all me but it's not necessarily
- 56:04the truth of the matter. Yeah.
- 56:06It's the version that you get in that moment.
- 56:10It's the complexities of the self, the soul complex, you
- 56:15know, and this how deep does it go, you know, how do you want to
- 56:19project? True.
- 56:49Yeah, can can can confirm, you know?
- 56:59Yeah. All of this is just a bunch of
- 57:01baloney. This whole thing is just a mess
- 57:06who I didn't sign up for this, who put me here.
- 57:10Why are you wearing that stupid human suit.
- 57:13What did that? What is this breathing thing?
- 57:15Why do we even have to do this? So it's so cumbersome, man.
- 57:30It's maddening always touching something shit.
- 57:35Yeah, you know you're just always Why why why could I not
- 57:42just like be? That would be grand if I could
- 57:50just forget about this whole like body like having to eat
- 57:55when I'm hungry, like why can't I just like run around in the
- 57:59fort? Why can't I just scream in the
- 58:01forest and why can't my best friend?
- 58:03Be a frog? Are you know, or whatever?
- 58:06Like what you know, why do I why can't I just go nuts sometimes,
- 58:11and not have anybody check in on me.
- 58:14Like, it's cool, man. I'm fine.
- 58:15Just, I'm just being me. I'm just screaming into the void
- 58:17right now. It's cool.
- 58:19You know, you know nothing to worry about here.
- 58:21It's just business as usual, right?
- 58:26Under the salamander gets it, trust me, you know.
- 58:34The Scorpions. Get it for sure, for sure.
- 58:40Yeah. Telling nothing to the Scorpions
- 58:44that they don't already know, right?
- 58:48Same old story. You touching me, why you
- 58:52touching song? The Song Remains Not the Same,
- 59:02never mind. You don't have to bother me now.
- 59:06Story of my life, you know, I'm over here shitting my pants.
- 59:10Never mind. You don't have to bother me now.
- 59:27That you hear people say like I don't want to people today.
- 59:31She never wants to people that. Yeah, that is that an arachnid
- 59:36trade. Or is that just a tarantula
- 59:39trait? Mostly a ragged but spiders for
- 59:44sure or like? Yeah, I'm out.
- 59:47Spiders are way more. Yeah.
- 59:52If I have got Different perspectives on life, you know,
- 1:00:02I get the, the lizard perspective, I get the snake
- 1:00:05perspective, I get the salamander perspective because I
- 1:00:08have to take care of them. I have to pay attention to how
- 1:00:11they are and what they do and what they need.
- 1:00:15There's so Environmental. Yeah, there's and there's so
- 1:00:20reliant on the environment like they adapt to the environment
- 1:00:23but they are reliant on the environment.
- 1:00:25They're there Their Manners. Their behaviors are reliant on
- 1:00:28the Just what's around them and it shifts.
- 1:01:09And so, like, I have to scare the absolute hell out of her in
- 1:01:12order to feed her. That's a weird place to be
- 1:01:17psychologically. Like I thought about it like
- 1:01:19that like what if my life was like that where if I had to go
- 1:01:23through fear, in order to eat Hmm.
- 1:01:27Which if you think about On A Primitive level?
- 1:01:30Yeah kill to eat. Yeah you go through fear in
- 1:01:33order to eat. Yeah.
- 1:01:36Am I going to die trying to get this mean?
- 1:01:43Yeah, and primitive lifestyle simulating that thing here in
- 1:01:48modern times is I mean takes them to take it takes a lot of
- 1:01:51effort, it takes, it takes a very focused approach to
- 1:01:55existence to recreate that and to stimulate that.
- 1:01:59Because it's not what we've had to do for a very long time as a
- 1:02:04species, you know. But it is inherently a part of
- 1:02:09our Being I think, I mean it lies deep down inside of us at
- 1:02:14the part of Primal layer, you know, like where we're capable
- 1:02:17of a lot more than we give ourselves credit for.
- 1:02:20Yeah, you know. Yeah, I can't do this.
- 1:02:23I can't do that. I can't deal with it.
- 1:02:25I can't. Yes you can.
- 1:02:26And yes, you will. If you are pushed into a corner.
- 1:02:29When you need to deal with it, you will deal with it.
- 1:02:31Trust me. You will may not feel like it in
- 1:02:34the moment, but you're either gonna die.
- 1:02:36Not dealing with it or you're going to fight to deal with it.
- 1:02:38Like it's there, it's just varied.
- 1:02:59She knows she can make it. Yep, she passed that test.
- 1:03:03She went through that learned that lesson.
- 1:03:06Yeah, that's a good. So further than you, think you
- 1:03:10could? Yeah, 100%.
- 1:03:12And that's a kind of a neat thing.
- 1:03:14I, you know, if you guys wanted to, I talked about earlier about
- 1:03:19Cody Schafer's musical project called Elder vaak, so, Cody,
- 1:03:27Shaffer Shaffer, I'm mispronouncing Cody.
- 1:03:30My apologies has has an online presence through, you know, he's
- 1:03:38YouTube channel, which I'm going to be linking in the
- 1:03:40description, sharing in the show notes.
- 1:03:43All of its going to be shared here, has a musical project
- 1:03:47called elder Bach. He also does his online crafting
- 1:03:51business called sacred wolf divination.
- 1:03:55And definitely cool stuff. And Cody's got this this here,
- 1:04:01which is a track called Excursion, I think he wrote it
- 1:04:06specifically for for someone, but it's for for use and I was
- 1:04:11going to play it. If you guys are cool with it,
- 1:04:12you cool with it, man, if we play here.
- 1:04:15So, Again, this is Elder Tuvok. Check him out on YouTube.
- 1:04:24This is a track Excursion. He's in, let me, let me pause
- 1:04:29for a second. The, the intro is the narrative.
- 1:04:34It's a poem being narrated by JM Olufsen filled with your
- 1:04:38Workshop. I've talked about him, plenty
- 1:04:39times, you guys ought to know good friend of ours, near and
- 1:04:42dear friend of the tribe Ken to us.
- 1:04:47Has produced Products that are tribal relics and he's reciting
- 1:04:52a poem that he wrote and he speaking, I believe it's
- 1:04:55Swedish, but the intro, the the narration that you hear is jmo.
- 1:05:01Listen, he's Read to them, read the book, see them.
- 1:05:10In the morning, hasta pasta least Yusuf and novel.
- 1:05:22Little pussy, front garden solution.
- 1:11:24Man. Oh man.
- 1:11:25Yeah, so guys check out all the Rock on YouTube, Facebook.
- 1:11:33I think that's the extent of the social media presence that that
- 1:11:38he's got at least on that musical project.
- 1:11:45But I love that, man. I don't know what you guys
- 1:11:47think. What do you think Tango?
- 1:11:51Super. Super cool, man.
- 1:12:01Like his his his yeah, the studio work is Stellar, you
- 1:12:06know, just the production quality, you know you can tell
- 1:12:09he knows his way around producing music.
- 1:12:16Yep. Yep.
- 1:12:19So you know support us yeah yeah I know you know that that you
- 1:12:28come from it or come to it from you know that perspective as a
- 1:12:33musician yourself and you know I just was one and two, we were
- 1:12:38talking just you know, It seemed like it fit like the the Segway
- 1:12:43of things, it fit well into the into the discussion.
- 1:12:47So you know, Cody's projects, you know, sacred wolf divination
- 1:12:51Elder Valk is going to be annotated in the show.
- 1:12:55Notes description of the video. So good job coding then like
- 1:12:59just he does cool stuff to he does.
- 1:13:02What are those things called the Oh, man, their drums.
- 1:13:09But it's the steel drums. A steel drum.
- 1:13:14It sounds like a steel drum but you hit it with your hands.
- 1:13:16You don't tell him about those like domed thing, water, drum, I
- 1:13:24don't know, it's whatever it is. But anyway, he does that too.
- 1:13:28I don't know. It's just check it out.
- 1:13:30Real good real quick. Yeah, But it's really good
- 1:13:37stuff. So yeah.
- 1:13:41Anything else that I missed? I kind of offloaded a bit
- 1:13:44before. Was there anything else that you
- 1:13:45were wanting to touch on on this topic or topics?
- 1:13:52Yeah. Cool cool.
- 1:14:22Yeah, maybe a little circular logic there.
- 1:14:24But, you know, I It's no, I mean it resonates, you know, do
- 1:14:31something. Do the thing.
- 1:14:33It's and it's and it's repeated throughout different sagas.
- 1:14:38It's repeated in the lower and even in have them all like I
- 1:14:42mean it's better to do something action is better than in action.
- 1:14:47Stagnation doesn't bode well for the luck for overall luck, for
- 1:14:52yourself, for the try for that, you know.
- 1:14:54So it's you know, whatever you do.
- 1:14:57You know think about it but do take ownership of it.
- 1:15:04Basically is what I guess. Not going to mean a lot to
- 1:15:11people that aren't from around here, but Chi goes to a Franklin
- 1:15:16School, you know, Franklin is as some of you may know that aren't
- 1:15:22from around here in the news, pretty recently several times.
- 1:15:26It's a very hoity-toity area of Brentwood you know the we had
- 1:15:33the the daddy-daughter dance a couple weeks ago and Kai it was
- 1:15:38an 80s theme. The main thing Kaya knows about
- 1:15:42the 80s, is punk rock. So I went dressed and Misfit
- 1:15:47Style with the devil lock in the front hito.
- 1:15:52Like yeah, yeah. Yeah.
- 1:15:58This bikes, you know, like these Franklin people and like they
- 1:16:04have no idea how to handle that. I don't give a shit.
- 1:16:09My daughter wanted, and if you got a problem with it, you can
- 1:16:14take it up with her because I don't give a shit about your
- 1:16:17perception. I care about hers.
- 1:16:19Yeah, that's what she wanted. That's what matters to me.
- 1:16:36I don't care what anybody else thinks that.
- 1:16:39Yeah, I'm not their dad but yeah thinks I'm a good dad.
- 1:16:42So there you go. That's kind of what I have to
- 1:16:46say about perception. You know.
- 1:16:49And as a dad and she sees that and she knows that and she
- 1:16:56thinks I'm a good dad and I don't have to prove myself to
- 1:16:59anybody else about being a good dad, you know?
- 1:17:04Now that's that's that's that's valuable.
- 1:17:06I mean, where is what is family right?
- 1:17:12Family is The the people who love you for, who you are that,
- 1:17:18accept you for, who you are that, that call you out on your
- 1:17:21bologna and your BS, that, that, that I have your best interest
- 1:17:24at heart and that are wanting to be there for you.
- 1:17:27And I know it's cliche, Rio you sell, family isn't always blood
- 1:17:30right? You know.
- 1:17:31Yeah. But in reality, Yeah, I mean it
- 1:17:37that that's actually true that that is, you know, it's your
- 1:17:40family is not always your blood and there's a, here's a classic
- 1:17:44example. I mean my family, my blood
- 1:17:46family who I owe much of my life to have Drifted, there's
- 1:17:55there's, you know, against my best wishes, you know what
- 1:18:00against what I always wanted. And sometimes you just gotta
- 1:18:04accept it and accept the family that are there for you, like,
- 1:18:08you and Kaia, and my wife and her parents and Patrick, and can
- 1:18:14and these other people who are like, I don't have, I'm not
- 1:18:19lacking for her. Yeah.
- 1:18:23Oh yeah, right. You know like that's yeah,
- 1:18:30that's the thing. Yeah.
- 1:18:32Yeah it's a thing. Take out.
- 1:18:34Take a drink all of you. Yeah, shout out.
- 1:18:36Eric shervin right now that guy to I mean, yeah.
- 1:18:41I I you know everybody, you know that doesn't follow Eric's
- 1:18:44stuff. I mean he is and I'm going to
- 1:18:47say this unequivocally. He is one of the main reasons
- 1:18:50why I'm still doing what I'm doing the way that I'm doing it.
- 1:18:55He is always been an inspiration for me.
- 1:18:57And I know he's going through a lot and is, you know, had a lot
- 1:19:02of things come up in his life and with his, you know, family
- 1:19:06his tribe and stuff that have shifted a lot of his focus on
- 1:19:09things, but that does not take away from the cut of his jib and
- 1:19:14the character of the man that he is and why I feel so inspired by
- 1:19:19someone like him, you know? So yes.
- 1:19:23Absolutely. You definitely don't see that
- 1:19:29much content from him nowadays, because he's got to do the
- 1:19:32thing. He's got to He's got to be there
- 1:19:36for his, his, his heart, his tribe, and he's got a, you know,
- 1:19:39he holds a position of authority and his tribe and he has to do
- 1:19:43his thing. He has to preserve that luck.
- 1:19:44So much, respect much, respect him.
- 1:19:48But as you know, just from One content creator to another.
- 1:19:52If nothing else, just give him the support, watch his stuff,
- 1:19:55check him out. It helped me.
- 1:19:57It has helped me continue to help me and I'm sure that you
- 1:20:01will find benefit and and value. The stuff that he talks about in
- 1:20:06the things that he presents in his in his own way, very humbled
- 1:20:11and and always is on the real with us, you know, not not a, he
- 1:20:17ain't playing no games, you know, so I definitely appreciate
- 1:20:22that. Not yet, I haven't either yet
- 1:20:27but, you know, come close to a couple of times it just, you
- 1:20:30know, things didn't line up, just right, but it'll happen,
- 1:20:34one day. I When it's meant to be, it will
