- 0:00My name is Terry Messenger and I am hey, hey, hey and welcome,
- 0:08welcome to Terry Messenger's Genius Zone.
- 0:14And you know, this is the place in the space where you are going
- 0:19to get your own free master class absolutely free.
- 0:31Hey, hey, hey, and welcome to Terry Messenger's Genius Zone.
- 0:39And this is the place and the space where every week we bring
- 0:44you epic, powerful, profound coaching, healing, mentorship,
- 0:52wisdom, and boy, what a show we've got.
- 0:56Now you might be going, Terry, you say that every single week.
- 0:59And I promise to not disappoint because this is going to be
- 1:06about a very profound biological reality and living in harmony
- 1:15with natures laws and even healing and how you can approach
- 1:25illness with a completely different mindset than just the
- 1:30medical world. So for all of you that know me
- 1:34well, you may know that my husband, Dr. Ian Messenger, has
- 1:39been very, very unwell and has just been diagnosed, which has
- 1:45not yet been publicly announced of his diagnosis.
- 1:49But he has been given a critically very serious
- 1:56diagnosis, which will come about, I'm sure in the show.
- 2:03But we're going to talk about how even the every symptom,
- 2:08whether it is simply a ache, a pain, a disease, and how every
- 2:16illness has a story. And that story may just become
- 2:22your glory. Now, this wonderful, wise woman
- 2:28that I'm about to bring on her life began with trauma.
- 2:34So you're going to learn about how she had invasive surgery at
- 2:39the age of 4 and what happened to her as she was left in pain
- 2:46and struggled for so long and even ended up in a wheelchair.
- 2:52But she never gave up. And her journey reveals that
- 2:56disease is not an error but a biological program of survival.
- 3:03And this is a crusade that she has gone on through ministry,
- 3:09through profound teachings. And I don't want to take all of
- 3:13this and say it all because I would love to give this
- 3:17beautiful woman Bonnie. And this lady, Bonnie Sheldon,
- 3:23is an incredible woman, believing that movement is life,
- 3:31harmony is health. So with no further ado, let's
- 3:36bring on the beautiful Bonnie Sheldon.
- 3:38Hello, Bonnie, how are you? Oh, hello, Thank you Cherry, and
- 3:42thank you for those kind words. I'm very well and happy to be
- 3:45here. Oh, wonderful.
- 3:47Well, I'm very, very excited. This is going to be more than
- 3:51different and it's going to be, you know, such AI guess an
- 3:57experience that I feel honored to have.
- 4:00And and you know, there's many people who have got the chance
- 4:05and will have the chance to listen to this and really
- 4:09understand about your own story and even their story and how it
- 4:16has played such a significant role.
- 4:20But let's go back to the beginning.
- 4:22So you were born out of trauma. Can you talk me through that and
- 4:28what that means? Yes, I was born with what is
- 4:34called a congenital disability. We used to call that a birth
- 4:38defect. So there was a problem with my
- 4:41pelvis and I was not able to have that resolved at birth
- 4:48because you need to be a certain size to have surgery.
- 4:51And so they waited until I was 4.
- 4:53Certainly there is a lot of awareness and it was extremely
- 4:57traumatic surgery, just extremely traumatic.
- 5:01And afterwards I had a lot of pain.
- 5:05I could not eat, I could not go to the bathroom, my back hurt,
- 5:10my stomach hurt, my neck hurt, and at that time the doctors
- 5:15examined me. My mother was very concerned and
- 5:19there was no visible problem. I was declared completely
- 5:23successful surgery and kind of dropped out of my medical
- 5:27records. At that time, we did not know
- 5:30about the vagus nerve. And I subsequently learned that
- 5:34my vagus nerve had not just been compressed and insulted, but
- 5:40actually damaged. So that I had just regulated
- 5:44vagus nerve through my whole childhood, early upgrading,
- 5:49through teenage years. And that brought me pain.
- 5:53And I was essentially I, I believe now.
- 5:56And looking back, I was in functional freeze because it
- 5:59hurt so much and there were things I couldn't do.
- 6:03But my mother was a psychologist and she believed that if there's
- 6:08nothing wrong, then let's work with it and get up and go very
- 6:13motivational. Come on, Bonnie, you can still
- 6:16do it. And so I would am I, she was
- 6:18very strong lady. And so I would go and and do
- 6:21what she suggested and and I became involved, thankfully in
- 6:26many physical activities. I started to dance gymnastics,
- 6:30photon truly. And those things saved me
- 6:33because I was able to move and sweat and my body was able to
- 6:38release the the vagus nerve, the other that were building up and
- 6:42all the compression and all the anxiety, I had an outlet and
- 6:46that was a real benefit to me. That's incredible.
- 6:50And I'm, I'm, I'm kind of getting this gist of like a yoga
- 6:55where you're literally shifting your body and shifting energy
- 7:01and, and just releasing it. And, you know, it's even, you
- 7:07know, my husband, Dr. Ian Messenger, and I still address
- 7:11him as the chiropractor. He says that life is movement
- 7:15and energy and we need that. And so it's interesting that you
- 7:19hold that philosophy. So then you obviously went on a
- 7:26bit of a crusade as a result of, and I always say this about this
- 7:31show because the Genius Zone always brings back people from
- 7:36their pain to their power. And you went on a crusade really
- 7:43to find the answers. But that sort of, you know,
- 7:46involved you moving through ministry and ministering in a
- 7:51wheelchair and even ministering and choreographing whilst in a
- 7:57wheelchair. So what happened?
- 8:01You then went into some Matrix EFT, and I'm sure a lot of
- 8:08people out there have heard of EFT, emotional freedom
- 8:12technique, but whether they understand it from the full
- 8:18terminology, would you like to open that up and talk us through
- 8:21that? Surely I efg emotional freedom
- 8:26techniques was developed by a man named Gary Craig in the 80s
- 8:30and he built it on thought field therapy, which was a much more
- 8:34complicated way of looking at the fact that the acupuncture
- 8:39meridians, when we touch them and think about certain
- 8:42thoughts, we can actually change what's going on in our our brain
- 8:47and our emotions. And at that time, back in the
- 8:5080s, there was really no science behind this, but people found
- 8:53anecdotally, Gee whiz, it worked and millions and millions of
- 8:57people started using it. And now there is science behind
- 9:00it. And we know that by touching
- 9:03certain points, tapping with two or three fingers on certain
- 9:08specific points on the hand and body and torso, and it can't
- 9:12just be any points. We now have science that you
- 9:14can't just tap anywhere. And Gee whiz, it works.
- 9:17These specific acupuncture Meridian juncture points while
- 9:21articulating the emotion, the situation we're addressing or
- 9:26the belief we can reduce the emotional intensity.
- 9:30And they're the hand points, points on the head.
- 9:33This is an optional point, the third eye, the inner eye.
- 9:36And these are the basic EFT. This is an optional point.
- 9:40This goes directly to the vagus nerve, the wrist point and then
- 9:43back to the 10 points. And we have some finger points
- 9:46that we use in the next modality matrix re imprinting.
- 9:49But the one of the amazing things that has come with the
- 9:53EFT is that as the years have developed, there's been a lot of
- 9:56research. And we have over 300 studies
- 9:59now. And the several meta studies and
- 10:01Doctor Peter Stapleton's fabulous study would show that
- 10:05in one EFG last session, we can absolutely reduce the cortisol
- 10:12by 45%. And that is amazing that we can
- 10:18just reduce that cortisol by 45% in one EFT session.
- 10:24That is absolutely incredible. So I know that your studies sort
- 10:29of started out in, you know, you looked at a lot of somatics and
- 10:35Virginia City's work and advanced therapy and later EFT
- 10:40and matrix re imprinting. So where does the matrix re
- 10:45imprinting come into this? Because as I said, there's the
- 10:49EFT, but what exactly is the matrix re imprinting that makes?
- 10:54Different Well Matrix Reimprinting was developed by a
- 11:00EFT master, Carl Dawson and in EFT we look at this session from
- 11:06how we feel about it now a situation, excuse me, of how we
- 11:10feel about it now say we were bullied as a child.
- 11:14We go back and we look at that situation and we don't look at
- 11:18how the child felt. Then we look at how, what is our
- 11:20emotional imprint from that event and we work on it.
- 11:24And Carl was in a training and his he was giving a
- 11:28demonstration and the woman said, can't I just go help her?
- 11:34Beautiful insight. And he said, yes, do go help
- 11:38her. And so Matrix Reimprinting was
- 11:41evolved, but we don't look at it as it was for a movie.
- 11:44But we actually entered the scene as our present self, as a
- 11:49former self. And we can talk to our younger
- 11:52selves in this format. And we can never change reality,
- 11:58but we can change in an emotional playground, a better
- 12:03reality that creates a different emotional imprint.
- 12:07And it's as if the trauma that was there gets slowly erased.
- 12:11It doesn't go away, but the emotion of it slowly will just
- 12:16or quickly will disappear. And you're left with the energy
- 12:21of a better time and place. And it's beautiful.
- 12:26And we use different points, the brain points or there's a more
- 12:31modified version and we will probably do some matrix today.
- 12:36That's so exciting and that's what I was going to say.
- 12:39Stay tuned because it's going to get very heated up around here.
- 12:45Now I have a question on the EFT.
- 12:47I mean, I'm a master in NLP and hypnosis and I do understand a
- 12:54lot about the, you know, the unconscious, the five
- 12:59dimensional, the quantum and all of those elements.
- 13:03And I do have to say metrics re imprinting is such a great
- 13:09terminology. I love it so much.
- 13:12And you know, it's really explanatory of what we do with
- 13:19NLP timelining when we're taking people back to a different
- 13:24dimension and a different era of their life to heal the inner
- 13:29child. And I'd never really thought of
- 13:33it as that word matrix re imprinting.
- 13:36But I have to say that is just really, I love it.
- 13:39I think it's a very sophisticated word.
- 13:42My question is, can you do the EFT that kind of work on someone
- 13:53that is unable to perhaps move or do it for themselves?
- 14:00Well, it is possible to do surrogate work, but that
- 14:04requires an agreement and also an ethical safety component
- 14:11where we know we will do no harm under any circumstances, as the
- 14:15primary concern is to do no harm.
- 14:17So if someone is unable to work, we approach them.
- 14:21And I, I'll preframe this a little.
- 14:24We're going to talk about that through the relational field of
- 14:28those around them initially. And we do know that we have
- 14:31coherence how math has shown us. Like you can talk about that a
- 14:34little more fully later too, but we have coherence with those
- 14:37around us. So we approach someone who's
- 14:39perhaps not able to speak for themselves 1st through those
- 14:43around them and establish a hard coherence and then see whether
- 14:47or not it's possible to approach.
- 14:49And in in no case are we treating that person, but we are
- 14:53enabling the energy to possibly have a since every people are on
- 14:59the same wavelength, and the closer you ride to that person,
- 15:02the more you're on the same waving, there will be
- 15:05potentially an energetic connection.
- 15:09No, that's amazing. I just love that.
- 15:12So I guess because you know, it's going to really be quite
- 15:18powerful for people to witness what you are going to be doing
- 15:23in just a moment. And are there any kind of
- 15:27disclaimers that we need to make to our audience?
- 15:31Like sometimes if I'm, for example, doing some hypnosis, I
- 15:37would require to say, please do not drive a car.
- 15:42While you are listening to this, is there any disclaimers that
- 15:46you would like to say before we kind of hit the road running?
- 15:51Yes, I actually do have something I'd like to say.
- 15:57What we're sharing today is basically educational and
- 16:01supportive for everyone involved, hopefully including
- 16:06Ian Terry's husband. It does not diagnose or treat
- 16:12the disease. We are not in any way involved
- 16:17with the medical condition per SE.
- 16:20The ramifications of what we do, we can help for the best, but we
- 16:24are not actively in an on line session treating this disease,
- 16:30which is a serious medical, often fatal neurological
- 16:34disorder. And so we would not want to be
- 16:36in that kind of ethical compromise position.
- 16:40But if you're a loved one has these issues, always if you're
- 16:44doing this kind of work, watch out for any danger signs and
- 16:49consult medical authority immediately.
- 16:52And because Terry's husband cannot consent and this is a
- 16:55public recording, we're not going to conduct the session on
- 16:58him. We're not going to be fully
- 17:01surrogate and call up his inner child that that would be perhaps
- 17:07intrusive to him and his his spirit.
- 17:10Instead, we'll work with Terry's experience as a wife, as a
- 17:13caregiver, someone who loves him, her grief, her fear, her
- 17:17love, so that she can be more resourced and present and
- 17:20contributing in a positive way to that relational field and how
- 17:24it may affect him. Wow, that's amazing.
- 17:28Thank you so much. And you know, I just want to
- 17:33give a little bit of an example here in Bonnie's personal
- 17:38healing as she accelerated through moving and dancing.
- 17:46And all of those things came from default, you know, like you
- 17:50did that and you found that out. I would like to add that when
- 17:57you began working with someone, you were actually working with a
- 18:03man with Meniere's disease, and this was a classic, but would
- 18:09you like to talk about the symptoms he had and then what
- 18:15you discovered as the root cause on the emotional level?
- 18:22Yes. Well, now we're moving out of
- 18:24EFG and Matrix into meta consciousness, which is what
- 18:29we're also going to be working with the 33 modalities here
- 18:32today. And Meta consciousness, which is
- 18:35developed by Panetti Kroll based on German new medicine, is based
- 18:40on a theory work that was done by Doctor Hammer back in the
- 18:45early, late 70s and early 80s. And he looked at that medicine
- 18:50not from a pathological point of view where we take a disease and
- 18:54name it and then fight it, but from looking at the symptoms.
- 18:59And this came about because his son died of leukemia and he
- 19:02believed that there was a mind body connection and he wanted to
- 19:05explore that. And he developed 5 biological
- 19:08laws. The first one is that a disease
- 19:10is a reaction to an emotional shock.
- 19:14And the second is that that emotional shock will go through
- 19:19several phases of shock and distress and then regeneration,
- 19:25rest and cooperation. And in various stages we can
- 19:28have healing depending on where in the body that happens.
- 19:32And he posited that as we look at the brain and now the trium
- 19:38brain is still technically a theory.
- 19:39So when we look at the brain in five parts, it's still
- 19:43theoretical, but we have so much anecdotal information.
- 19:46We work with this when we look at the brain, as each part of
- 19:49the brain in this theory evolves, say for example the
- 19:53brainstem, certain organs evolved at the same moment.
- 19:57So in the brainstem, the survival organs evolved by as in
- 20:02the reproductive and the. The digestion system and so each
- 20:09part of the brain has its own areas that it is responsible or
- 20:14relates to. And so wherever we have a tissue
- 20:19or a problem, it does have some component that relates to that
- 20:25brain relay. And each brain relay has its own
- 20:29conflicts associated with it. Naturally, survival is about can
- 20:33I survive or what is happening to me where I don't feel I can
- 20:37survive. And each relay has a conflict.
- 20:41And so Meniere's disease, that's MENIERES is what I'm saying.
- 20:47Meniere's disease, this is a an imbalance in the inner ear.
- 20:53And when we look at it from a meta perspective, it's related
- 20:57to a falling conflict. And so when I did my research,
- 21:02because no one person can know the whole human body, we do have
- 21:05to research this to do a meta analysis.
- 21:08But when I researched it, I found out that this is a falling
- 21:11conflict. And so I said to him, was there
- 21:15a time when you fell dramatically or saw someone
- 21:19fall? And he said, yes, I saw my wife
- 21:22have a stroke and she fell down and and she's still very
- 21:28disabled. And he'd never dealt with that
- 21:31as a trauma. And in meta consciousness, we
- 21:35talk about those shocks in terms of trauma.
- 21:37And we define trauma in as an Udin UGIN.
- 21:43It's a moment that's unexpected, isolating, dramatic, and you
- 21:48have no resources for it. You don't know how to cope.
- 21:51And that was a classic Oodon for him.
- 21:55And so we went back and we've used EFG chapping and Matrix
- 21:59reimprinting to go through all of the things that happened
- 22:04during that stroke. And he has, at this point, not
- 22:07yet had the brain surgery. I won't say that we've totally
- 22:12resolved the Meniere's disease, but he is now aware of where it
- 22:17might have come from. That alone has brought him an
- 22:19immense amount of peace because almost everybody who has a
- 22:23serious illness says, why me? Why is this happening?
- 22:26How did this, you know what? I was going along and suddenly
- 22:29I'm falling on the floor. The why me becomes more resolved
- 22:33or not. People don't have to buy into
- 22:35the theory of some clients say, oh, well, that's interesting.
- 22:37But no, that was that was, but for him it was.
- 22:41And so we're still working through.
- 22:42But for me, that was a beautiful moment.
- 22:45Just for a. Period of time, I won't say I
- 22:48saved him from brain surgery, but that he was able to guide
- 22:51himself to an understanding where he's able to potentially
- 22:55avoid it is certainly delayed. I I was so moved.
- 22:58I I said I want to do this with my clients.
- 23:02That's incredible. So just to give a little bit of
- 23:04an example here, the first biological law, the iron rule of
- 23:11cancer and that comes from apparently conflict and shock.
- 23:17So this is this is just a kind of a like a little bit of a
- 23:21example of the way that body, you know, works and what meta
- 23:27consciousness is all about and the illness and how it
- 23:32originates from, you know, like actually Dirk Hammer syndrome,
- 23:40an unexpected, highly acute conflict shock that catches a
- 23:44person completely off guard. So it's interesting how, and I
- 23:50do believe this very much so, like I'm the sort of person I am
- 23:55so much caught up in this kind of spiritualism, if you will,
- 24:02that even last night I dropped a glass of red wine and it
- 24:07literally smashed and it went everywhere, all over the brand
- 24:12new rug. And I always feel that
- 24:16everything has a spiritual meaning.
- 24:19So how much more can it be credible that the body and the
- 24:24way that our biology is and how I mean everything they say
- 24:30disease is really dis ease and dis ease of the mind.
- 24:36So you know, I guess we'll just go through quickly briefly
- 24:40though, the the second biological law apparently is 2
- 24:43phases of disease, provided the conflict is resolved, which is
- 24:50what you were just talking about and how it works through that.
- 24:55The third one is ontogenetic system of tumors.
- 25:01Are you, I guess this is something that you've kind of
- 25:05looked into. The 4th biological law is the
- 25:09ontogenetic system of microbes, and then the fifth one is the
- 25:15quintessence. I can't even say that word the
- 25:18quintessence. Every disease has a meaning.
- 25:24Yes, yes, yes, I will. I answer that.
- 25:27Yes, yes, yes. Now I will also add that the
- 25:30reason we are no longer just talking about German new
- 25:33medicine is that we've expanded from Doctor Hammer's point of
- 25:38view. So Doctor Hammer and and many of
- 25:42his followers believe that cancer could not be cured and in
- 25:48medic consciousness once we've they did not have a way to
- 25:52resolve those biological thoughts.
- 25:54So when we moved into my first medical health and non medic
- 25:59consciousness where we have tools like EFG or any really any
- 26:05practitioner can work with accomplished practitioner in
- 26:08certain fields can work with meta consciousness.
- 26:11The theories some doctors, some nurses use it different.
- 26:16A heart math practitioner I trained with uses this.
- 26:19But we have a way now to work with the trauma.
- 26:23So some of the biological laws are absolutely relevant and
- 26:27others, yes, they're relevant and, and, and have meaning.
- 26:31But that last one, I'm going to ask you to read that last one
- 26:33again. That's so.
- 26:34Profound. OK, The fifth one, The
- 26:37quintessence. The quintessence.
- 26:40Every disease has a meaning. That is the main issue.
- 26:45Once we consider that illness might not be an attack from the
- 26:52outside, something we're going to fight, a pathology that we're
- 26:57going to treat with pills and medicine, but that there is a
- 27:00meaning behind what is going on because things in nature don't
- 27:06happen accidentally. A tree is seed is a seed is
- 27:11planted. It grows.
- 27:12It gets enough water, it grows well, it doesn't get enough
- 27:16water. It might be stunted, an animal
- 27:19is attacked, it's injured. Perhaps it was attacked 'cause
- 27:23it was thirsty, so it went to the water.
- 27:26There was a, an, a logic to what happened behind it.
- 27:30And it's the same thing. We are essentially as mammals,
- 27:34we're animals. And why would we have a
- 27:36different biological logic than the entire world, than the plant
- 27:41Kingdom and the animal Kingdom? Our logic would be different.
- 27:44And we we're suddenly struck by these sudden things.
- 27:47Now, there is a story behind the illness or the accident, and it
- 27:52can be very surprising. It can be very deep, it can be
- 27:55very old. It can even be ancestral or
- 27:58dramatic. But there is a story behind what
- 28:01happens to us. Incredible.
- 28:04Very, very, very powerful. So we obviously talked on the
- 28:10fact that I'm going through a crisis at the moment.
- 28:15And it's actually with my husband, who's just being
- 28:20diagnosed with very fatally critical neurological issue
- 28:29where it began out as what we thought was vascular dementia
- 28:34and it now has been diagnosed with, I cannot pronounce this
- 28:41for the life of me, but it's CJD.
- 28:46It is a variant that also is known as mad cow disease.
- 28:54So over to you, Bonnie, because I feel that you're going to kind
- 28:59of address it from obviously this is a you, you.
- 29:04We talk about an existential crisis for my husband, but it's
- 29:09also been very much a huge crisis for myself as well.
- 29:13And there's been so many things involved that has also brought
- 29:19forth in the same breath, a lot of my strengths, but it's has
- 29:27come at a very huge cost. It's it's not been easy.
- 29:31So I'm very grateful to have this this session and
- 29:35demonstrate your incredible just your wisdom.
- 30:01And what I would really, really love to do right now is some
- 30:05reflection so that as we create this beautiful podcast, it will
- 30:14be, you know, done in such a way that we will, you know,
- 30:18obviously edit it. But we want to make sure that
- 30:23people that get to hear it really understand the power of
- 30:28what has just happened. So perhaps what we can do now is
- 30:34firstly, I'm just going to talk about my own personal
- 30:36experience. And I was, I was wanting to hear
- 30:39that. Of course, I, you know, that's
- 30:41the next part, yeah. Yes, because this is the most
- 30:45important part. So, you know, the experience of
- 30:51what has just happened on a profoundly negative situation,
- 31:02which is now quite a phenomenally and profoundly
- 31:08harmonious, has brought a lot of harmony.
- 31:11So there there is this. It's almost like my brain has
- 31:19been untapped, like the fog has been removed.
- 31:25And you know, there's a sense that you know, during this and
- 31:31I, I love the verbiage you use. So when you're taking people
- 31:37through this, this is not just a normal EFT session.
- 31:43This is a phenomenal matrix re imprinting that happens through,
- 31:54you know, your beautiful guidance, Bonnie, of taking your
- 32:02person that you're working with back to the the past to sort of
- 32:11heal the future. And I guess what we can do now
- 32:17is open up to a person listening to this that's praying for your
- 32:25services and really, really, really requires this.
- 32:31Do you feel that your particular client that you attract tends to
- 32:39have a certain something that they're dealing with, like like
- 32:44a feeling like an, an energy or an emotion that they're really
- 32:49grappling with? Or do you find that it's it's
- 32:54it's just basically trauma or what's the theme?
- 33:00I seem to attract people who have complex medical conditions,
- 33:06serious very serious medical conditions or issues that
- 33:10reflect my own. Yes.
- 33:13Yeah, I'm really familiar with bones, muscles, faster
- 33:17digestion, all of my own issues, hard and connective tissue,
- 33:21Anything that's affected me, I, I, I automatic, I know the
- 33:24relays. I know them, you know, but
- 33:26anyone else, the research is very easy.
- 33:29But the people who come to me are the people who have not
- 33:32been, often have not been able to find medical answers or they
- 33:36have an answer that says there is no hope and they want hope.
- 33:40And I do believe that the power, there's power of feeling and
- 33:45hope. And so I don't offer hope.
- 33:49We're not results attached. We offer understanding and and
- 33:54that often does evolve into a positive outcome.
- 33:59That's that's absolutely phenomenal.
- 34:01And so you spent a lot of time in a wheelchair and, you know,
- 34:06it doesn't get much, you know, worse than that.
- 34:11So I know that's that's the situation that my husband is.
- 34:16And so we do you feel, would you put it down to this kind of work
- 34:23that has helped you move, you know, from that sort of at some
- 34:29points of your life, you talked about it being quite paralyzing
- 34:33to where you are now. Do you put it down to meta
- 34:39conscious work matrix re imprinting?
- 34:44Yes, very, very much so other. I do have to say I'm still
- 34:47working on my health problems, but I also include somatics if I
- 34:53had not. And by that I do include chikung
- 34:56and yoga. I'm a certified yoga teacher,
- 34:58certified yoga chikung and I, I do it all.
- 35:02I mean, I'm on that mat hours a day.
- 35:06I take responsibility for my own health.
- 35:09And that's part of Penny's program is I will do what it
- 35:13takes to be 100% healthy. Sometimes it hurts when I'm
- 35:18getting on the mat. But I do add that IIA 100%
- 35:22believe if I hadn't found the EFT, I would be dead by now.
- 35:26And when I hit Matrix, I was at a very crucial point also and I
- 35:31would I would not still be here. So I definitely credit that.
- 35:34But I do add that I think often there can be a somatic opponent
- 35:39that an EFT when we do the evaluation, the Sud scale, if
- 35:44someone's ears are still up here, there is zero and they're
- 35:48saying, I don't feel any fear. I know a little better that
- 35:52there might still be some fear there.
- 35:54And that's when we move, you know, into or even before into
- 35:58working with the body in, in many sessions, I include gender
- 36:02somatics or people are interested.
- 36:04I, I have a studio where we will have a somatic session.
- 36:08I had one client. I had one client and we did so
- 36:10many sessions and I, we could not find that original trauma.
- 36:16And I said you need semantics and and and she came back and
- 36:21she said my, my, my body knew what my mind had forgotten.
- 36:27Wow, that's amazing. Because the body, the body
- 36:31doesn't lie. And it's.
- 36:32Like the one and they're on the for trust of recovery.
- 36:36Their their motto is the issues are in the tissues.
- 36:42Oh wow. And I, I believe that too.
- 36:45I think it's all, you know, the cognitive stuff with the meta is
- 36:48wonderful if you're, you know, that's helped me tremendously.
- 36:51But it's all a big picture. You can't just do it with your
- 36:54mind. Your body has to get on board
- 36:56too if you're not walking in nature.
- 37:00You're not living and, and you know, there was one detail that
- 37:04we didn't mention here and that is that you are 74 years young.
- 37:13And, you know, that brings me to the ageless, the ageless mind
- 37:19and timeless body. And I'm wondering if that's got
- 37:25a lot to do with the fact that you are on the yoga mat, you are
- 37:30moving your body. You are able to express
- 37:34yourself, you're able to utilize these tools.
- 37:38That is a huge contribution. But you say that age is just a
- 37:43number. And I can't help thinking that
- 37:47is absolutely right. I mean, my father, I'm not even
- 37:50allowed to say his age, but the fact is that for what he ought
- 37:57to be proud of his age because in, you know, golden years where
- 38:03many people very, very not so fortunate, he is still dancing,
- 38:11he still works, he still does all those things.
- 38:15And he would have to agree that it is also just just a number.
- 38:21And you know, I guess too, with the fact that, you know, having
- 38:27taken me through this, I just want to say to people out there
- 38:33that if you believe that you're holding onto trauma, whether it
- 38:39is in the mind, like probably for me, it was probably more of
- 38:45an emotional crisis, where for Ian, it is, you know, being very
- 38:52much a physical crisis. So, you know, this is the art of
- 38:57the work that Bonnie is doing where you're able to really
- 39:04resolve. And I feel that, you know, this
- 39:07is one of the things that happens, you know, in the world,
- 39:10especially when we, if we do lose our loved ones.
- 39:14And when we lose loved ones, that deep regret of, oh, you
- 39:19know, if only the, if only or I wished I'd done this.
- 39:25But I feel that this is where the almost the presupposition of
- 39:31what NLP says comes into play in a big way.
- 39:35And that is that it's never too late to have a happy childhood.
- 39:39And yeah, if I was kind of likening it to the work you're
- 39:43doing, it may not be childhood, but it's never too late to have
- 39:48a happy past because our past is creating our future.
- 39:55And So what you're really doing here is giving people that
- 40:03incredible gift of going back and almost recoding, rewiring,
- 40:12re imprinting. That's it exactly, yes.
- 40:17So that, so therefore, by doing that, that then kind of
- 40:25reconditions the mind and the body so that it can be
- 40:32reconditioned for the for the greater future.
- 40:36And that sort of leaves me with the question that I always love
- 40:41to ask on this show. And that is it wouldn't be fair
- 40:46for me to miss this question, especially with such a
- 40:50phenomenal, gifted, wise woman like yourself.
- 40:54If you jump off the show and you thought, oh, I wished I had of
- 41:00shared that piece of information, it may be something
- 41:04you want to reiterate that we've already spoken about or touched
- 41:07on, or it may be something that you just really would love that
- 41:14person to hear that is praying for your services.
- 41:19What words of wisdom would you impart?
- 41:28I think I would say that the first step is to consider
- 41:33whether that person or you or whoever might be listening is
- 41:39ready to accept agency or determination or control over
- 41:44the next part of their life. If it's going to be kind of
- 41:48riding along and what happens, happens, and that's life.
- 41:54There's not a lot of room for growth.
- 41:57If you're able to say, yes, I'm still in the game, I want to
- 42:03grow. I don't even know how or I'm in
- 42:08so much pain, emotional, physical, whatever.
- 42:13I need help. That help is there for both of
- 42:18those conditions and that, well, it may be too late if you're
- 42:23diabetic and 65 and you've been living on junk food your whole
- 42:29life to completely reverse your health condition.
- 42:32But you can certainly extend your longevity, increase your
- 42:37vitality, decrease your weight, stop the glucose spiking, and
- 42:41get a control on what's happening in your life.
- 42:44So if you're ready to say I can be in charge and it's possible I
- 42:50could regulate these bizarre emotions I have, I don't have to
- 42:53live in anger or whatever it is, then that that would be a great
- 42:59show. Oh boy, absolutely 100%.
- 43:04So if you have heard the wisdom of the incredibly wise Bonnie
- 43:12Sheldon, then we have all the information in the in the show
- 43:18notes. You can get in contact with
- 43:21Bonnie and and you can book in your session.
- 43:25Let me tell you, you will not regret that because this is
- 43:32extremely sacred, divine and incredible work.
- 43:39And you know, I'm sure like myself, Bonnie would agree that
- 43:43this is just the gift that, you know, we're a conduit that's
- 43:48coming through you and you know, you are being utilized to really
- 43:55set the captives free in so many people.
- 43:58So I just want to extend the most incredible, gracious and
- 44:06just amazing amount of gratitude and thankfulness to you, Bonnie,
- 44:12for what you've done for myself and unwittingly, I can safely
- 44:18say, for my husband as well. Thank you so much.
