So we're going to keep on going and getting better and better. All right. So, like I said, now you it's Tuesday, so you know what that means. We're going to get a breakdown of some of the NFL talk. What's going on with the NFL? from wait before I get that started, let's get this one part out the way, y'all. Sorry about this. I don't want to hold it, hold us back. Corey: you JB: I split. Represent our sparta. Corey: Okay. Troy: you JB: And y'all make sure y'all hit that QR code and holler at a you know help and support. All right, like I said, we're gonna do the show a little different tonight. Normally we ha to normally we have Eric and Smoot I Motown and Smooth in the building, but they're won't be joining us. So I wanna thank Corey and I wanna thank Law for filling in for filling in for us. you also Law: All right. Your camera, JB: Thank you. Corey: yeah, you can't see that 13. Troy: yeah, keep that, keep that high. Keep JB: As y'all Troy: it hidden. We just need to see from neck up, nothing else. I about say you want to take off the hat too? You know, just turn it around, you know. JB: see we got Mr. Controversy and got what's up, Charlie? Corey: Yeah. No. Law: Ha ha ha ha. Troy: Yeah. Corey: Yeah. Troy: Hello. JB: Yeah. So again we're gonna talk about the forty nineers being undefeated. We're gonna also talk about the the Cowboys, what the hell going on with them. The Saints finally get that that W. And also we're gonna give a little shout out to Alvin A. K. for five thousand rushing yards and five thousand running. So but before we get started Y'all can see me? Law: No, you can't. Troy: There you go. Corey: Yeah, I can see. Law: I can't see. know. Troy: You get it on my end. Law: yeah, something's been going on. JB: I got to log in and log back out. Law: Okay. JB: all right, so but before I get started, before we talk some football, I want to talk about something that's more important than game of football. Everybody who's eligible to make every elbow everybody who's eligible, make sure y'all get out and vote, man. because the exactly early voting has started, I don't I don't know about back home, but it started out here started today, all right. So it's out here is running from the nineteenth to the thirtieth. Election day is on the thirtieth, so we don't hear that stuff about your vote don't count. Corey: Mm-hmm. Okay. Troy: Please, It started today. Started today. JB: So man, y'all make sure y'all get out there and vote, man. Every vote every vote counts. So Troy: Please go vote. JB: I just want to make sure I can't get that out. It's very important. Let's get on to business, man. That's let's start off with the game from let's go to Thursday night. Let's let's start the week off Thursday night, man. I know I know Sean Payton Troy: Yes, sir. Corey: Okay. JB: took over the playbook, but man, their offense is still struggling. I think I want to say they had Dimbo had a hundred and eighty one yards total with zero, zero turnovers. Corey: Yeah. JB: And Seattle put up three hundred and ninety one yards with three turnovers. And I know Denver won, I believe yeah, Denver won, if I'm Corey: Mm-hmm. JB: not mistaken, but Peyton took over the play calling and everybody's like, Okay, we about to get back to them glory days, but it's is it is it Bo or is it just Troy: Yes, definitely. But both not a good quarterback. I feel like it's both. Corey: Okay. Troy: You don't really have to. I must say you have one receiver. You know, and that's it. You don't really have that many playmaking playmakers on the team to really, you know, say yes. But yeah, it's both both. But boy, that dude. JB: So you is it he is it like he not reading? You think he's not just Corey: Okay. JB: he don't see the game? Troy: I don't see what they would see. the thing is, I ain't see that in college. You know, they'd Corey: Mm. Troy: be hype. This is me, my opinion, they hype them up. Like they can have that one good season or mediocre season in college. and they're the best thing since sliced bread. And that's what they go for. And that's what Sean Payne did. He had that one mediocre season. And then that's who he wanted to be his quarterback. So Corey: Thank Troy: that's why he did Russell Wilson the way he did her, so he can get him to play. That's JB: That Troy: just my opinion. JB: what you got, Gore? Corey: I look like from the play call and he don't trust both. He don't trust both with the ball and everything short underneath real quick trying to protect them and they couldn't get the run game going like that. Honestly, the defense bailed him out. Like defense, yeah, defense played a good ass game and Seattle making mistakes. But again, yeah, I don't, I never been a real big fan of Bo. He's had a couple of games here and there, but it's more like, like you said, he a bus driver than he is a playmaker. Troy: Yeah, definitely. JB: Yeah, he he he's definitely Corey: Right, as long as he don't make mistakes, can win with him kind of like how Tampa Bay won with Brad Johnson, that type of style. You gotta have good defense, run game, play effective, don't. But Denver Troy: You're giving them too much credit. Corey: defense ain't that good though. And I'm doing that why they ain't giving Jalen Waddle the ball more, trying to get him involved more. You paid all that to get him. JB: Like we Corey: Like he should be involved in the offense more. Harvey doing solid, but I think they ain't utilizing water the way they supposed to. Troy: But I think also I believe it's the offensive line because soon he get the pressure, he Bo got heavy feet. He goes, I don't know what to do and it's over for him. Corey: Yeah, you can see he trying to take off running. Troy: Yeah, definitely, without a doubt. JB: Exactly. What you think, Law? I don't know if Law: Yeah, I wasn't big, both Nick's family was at Auburn, even when he transferred to Oregon. I don't know, I couldn't understand how Sean hitched his wagon to him because he's not a smart quarterback. And Sean liked to push the ball down the field too. That's why he went and got waddles. But they JB: yeah. Law: can't even, he not even, I kinda think that they kinda scapegoated the offensive coordinator to kinda. kind of babysit the bull next thing. was just, you just didn't have the personnel to be able to get the ball to what you were trying to do. So bull was just embarrassing everybody. Even when Sean took over, he can't do nothing with Sean players. So, I mean, I would, Corey: you Law: think he wasn't the, either he not ready or he just can't get it done. JB: Agree. Kinda kinda like Curry hit Corey hit on this earlier when he was he was preparing him to you just said it core put a quarterback at Brad Johnson and Troy: right, Corey: Yeah, Brad Johnson, like you have to have a great defense, solid running game and then just play within himself. Don't try and be a hero. everything is short underneath and get the ball in your playmaker's hands and had him do everything. JB: Kinda like an another Law: Alright. JB: person that vote on what his name used to play for the Baltimore Ty Def Defro his name was Trent Def. Troy: Yeah, Law: Trent Dilfer, Troy: drink dolphin. Law: yeah. JB: yeah. So y'all y'all Corey: Yeah, JB: think Pete Corey: but ain't nothing wrong with that. You can win that way, again, you can't pay him like JB: Yeah, I'll just buy X. I'll just buy X. Corey: you copped out of them. JB: Right. No, Law: No, you can't. JB: not at all. Law: And then Denver defense has dropped off this year too. They're not Corey: They have. Law: even playing good defense. Corey: They're getting, they're getting better. They look like Troy: Well, what you call them is all two. Corey: they're getting better as the season go along, but they started off terrible. Law: Yeah, Patrick Tane out. Yeah, I he been out. Troy: Yeah, sure, say it now. JB: So how far y'all think Peyton can get with this this with Bo Nick's playing like he playing? First round Law: nowhere, Troy: That's for the playoffs. Law: nowhere, nowhere, JB: Yeah. Troy: Nah, in the words Law: nowhere. In that division, which you got the... Troy: of Jim Hazlett, wow, I Corey: Hahaha! Law: Hahaha Troy: don't think they're gonna see that one. JB: Yeah. I'm an agreement y'all. I I just don't see it. I just don't see it. Corey: Meh. Nah. Law: No, there ain't no way. Don't, yep. The only way they get in if they win the division and that's not gonna happen. JB: Not at all. Right. Corey: Yeah, Sam Dono gave him a gift last night. That's, Law: Hey there. Troy: Aw, man. JB: I just about to say Troy: And Sam lookin' bad. JB: Exactly. I was just about to Law: And here they are. Corey: out here. JB: say did Seattle just give the win? 'Cause again I I said the numbers earlier on paper you'd be like, damn, Seattle bust that ass. Law: question. JB: But come to find out, like I said, Donald gave him three three pennies. Troy: Yeah, Sam Darnall was, he said, bro, he was looking terrible. He was acting like he Law: That's a bad- Troy: have two good receivers in the tight end. He Law: All right. Troy: was, and he played Corey: Hey Troy: horrible. JB: Two yeah, two picks Law: soon. JB: in stack five times. Law: I look at Sam Darnall and Corey: I'm gonna kill you. Law: I look at, I still see Jets Sam Darnall. Like he made a little bit of, a little improvement, but when you think about the defenses he had in Minnesota and the defenses he had in Seattle, which the defense kind of take a step back, they're not carrying them like they did last year, and you got to rely on him to win you games, he not going to do it. Corey: Mm. Law: He not gonna do it. And then you give away his biggest security blanket. How you not Corey: K9. Troy: Yeah. Law: sign Kenneth Walker back? That was crazy Troy: That was true. Law: as to me. Like dude, that was his biggest security blanket, dude. Corey: You see what he's doing in Kansas City up there? Law: Yes. Seattle was foolish with that one, man. Was foolish. Troy: Yeah, that's just like how they got rid of Marshall Lynch. You know what I'm saying? come on, they all make the best decision. Law: No, they don't. They don't. JB: Alright. Law: So, mean, mean, Sam, Sam Dono is, is, I still think he's that, he's that quarterback. He gotta have a lot to go right for him to be successful. JB: Right. So and they in that division, of course we know number one in that division, but they they they might struggle to make make that playoff too. Yeah. Corey: You'll love the team. JB: I start I started a weather with the other jersey but Eric not on here, so I can't rub the win either Washington Washington fan. Corey: Yeah. JB: So but yeah, we know that Yeah, I Corey: That's probably why you called off. JB: told him Troy: Hey, when y'all play the car- when they play the cowboys bruh? JB: Not this week. Not this week, Law: Next week, Corey: No, we play. We play the Eagles Monday night. Law: there it was. JB: but it's on the twenty twenty fifth or Corey: Yeah, we gonna put foot all up in them. Hey, I don't give a damn, injury's part of the game. We gonna put foot all in them. I'm taking the dubs where I can get them. Troy: They hurt man, come on. They hurt man. They hurt man. you can't, look how Law: Thanks You JB: I won't be fucked in. Troy: a bigger smile on his face came for me. You can't, come on man. Like dog. Corey: Yeah, yeah, any chance I get to beat them. They gave Law: So listen. Corey: us hell when Dak was hurting they beat us. JB: Dude, we we we we're gonna get to that game, but we yeah, I I think Troy: I'm JB: we're gonna still beat y'all just 'cause y'all the cowboys. Corey: Yeah. Nah, if we lose that one, I'm already starting to look at the draft after that. JB: Might as well Hey man, let's move Law: Yeah, bruh. JB: on to a team that finally got that a W, man. my god, this this was another stressful goddamn Saints man. fellas, what what did we what did they do right? Let's start off with that. What you got, Law? What the what the Saints did right to win that game? Law: Kool-Aid didn't get a snap on defense. Not one snap, not one play. You look at the game plan, I'm not the biggest Stanley fan because I think he plays a lot of man coverage and you don't have that kind of personnel to support that kind of coverage. But he had the perfect game plan against Jamis. I'm gonna blitz him. Jamis is gonna make a mistake. He gave it to him twice. He had the perfect game Corey: Okay. Law: plan for him. And Kool-Aid didn't get a snap on defense. The secondary was rotating, there was any gaps, they were playing off each other. Corey: Okay. Law: Reid was making plays. I think it was a really good defense of Sean until that last three minutes, six minutes when JJ got in there. And like I was telling Troy before, I'm look, I'm sure they didn't do no tape on JJ. You don't even know if he was the number two. You know what saying? He just got that. Corey: Okay. Law: So he just came in there and just, you know, they had nothing on him. And it was just, it was almost like lining up stuff in the sand, bruh. JB: thing for me the offensive line finally showed up from the running game having what a hundred and seventy five yards rushing? yeah Troy: Yeah, Kamara was doing his thing. Kamara was Corey: I have a Kamara look good man. I was happy Law: Yeah. Corey: to him get back to work man, he look good. Troy: doing his thing. Law: Yeah. Yeah. JB: Yeah, and then it was able to when that running game was working, shoot the play action was working on 'cause he Law: Yeah. JB: he was pretty good on that play Corey: Hmm. JB: action. So I think that was the biggest thing for me. Them boys was the offensive line finally stepped up and they controlled it it started off slow, but they controlled the game all the way till they start I hate the I hate the four quarter sometimes, man. Coaches start playing that convert playing what they call that con Law: conservative. Corey: Yeah, that's just how I go home with a dub. Troy: But man you can't I believe man just keep your foot on the neck man I won't blow you out I like how when Law: That's it. That's it. Troy: what that was New England was doing that man. They was blowing up putting the scoop You know I'm saying going up on the school board man Corey: I used to have my bag with muscles on there. Troy: listen man. want I want the school board to go up I want you to know that I whip your ass I don't want Law: Yeah. Troy: to be you know I'm saying we only beat y'all by two touchdowns or a touchdown. Nah I won't whip your ass Like I don't understand Law: Right. Corey: You get too aggressive though, Troy: why they do that. Corey: you start making turnovers. That's how you get in a situation where they come back. Troy: Now I don't want to be too aggressive. I don't want to be too aggressive, I wanted to make it, I want to make a statement. I don't want you to Law: Right. Troy: just, you know, just play down, start playing down. Like, all right, we going close now because we got the win. Nah, I want to continue whipping your ass. That's just my opinion. Law: Yep, yep. Corey: If we run into football, well, I'm going to continue to run the football and I'm going to take my Troy: Yeah, most definitely. Corey: time with that. And Law: No. Corey: then we're going to be strategic, make sure we get the ball. It's going to be quick stuff. No, no chance for turnovers, but that's it. We got a solid lead and we trying to get up out of there with a dub. Cause otherwise you can Troy: Bye! Corey: just like how Buffalo got done by Kansas city when Pat Mahomes walked him down because they was trying to get Josh Allen to prove a point and he threw picks Law: Yeah. Corey: and that they was able to come back and catch him. So you got to be careful. Law: Yeah. And that's another thing about my coach, man. We just stuck it up for three games. The offense is playing well. Ain't nobody coming out. I don't care if it's a blowout or not. We're going to feel good about this win until triple zero is on the clock. I ain't taking nobody out. And I understand we hurt, but you got to continue. You got to build off momentum. So he pulled Shuck like, like we just casually felt four and one. You know, we're going to feel good about this and we're going to see this through. Troy: Yeah, I would have never did that. I would have never did that. You're gonna play. JB: I tried to Law: Yeah. JB: say I'd kept the I would've kept the foot on the gas on that one. That was that was crazy. I could say we don't we not that type of team where we can do that. Troy: Yeah, what oughta do? Law: Yeah. He... He... All right. He can't afford to be sitting. Troy: Even though, even though I wanted James to win the game, you know what saying? I needed him to, you know, do a little gloating after, but hey, it is what it is. Corey: Yeah, I apologize for when man. I say it's all love with James down here though. I love James. JB: Yeah, 'cause I know he was ready for you. I know he was ready for that. He was ready for his win, but hold that hold that for me, Troy. Corey: Hahaha! Law: Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha Troy: I thought I got that L. We we eating L's, Law: ha ha ha ha ha ha JB: Exactly. You see your boy in the background. I told you before the season started he's gonna be one of the greatest clip holders I've ever seen. Troy: Hey, hey, bruh, hey, bruh, stop playing my boy, bruh. It's all right. JB: Yeah. Corey: You bout to go make me switch jerseys again, man. Hold up. Don't do my boy like that, man. He... It was all about the... But Deshawn Law: Say it, JB: No tchau, tch. Entendeu? Corey: doing solid though. I'ma give him respect. He... Hey, like I said, he don't apologize for a win. He finds a way to win in the fourth. JB: Exactly. So I know we talked about I think I talked about this with you before on the show too, Corey. but with the season in the store. So what's your looks on from the outside, not being a fan of the I know George not either, but not being a fan of the Saints, what's your out what's your take on Hashuk fan this season? Corey: I'ma be honest with you, from last year to this year, I like Shook. He's been doing good. He learning from his mistakes, not making the same mistake back to back over again. He's actually looking for, and he's going to his playmakers. Olave and him got chemistry. That's fantastic, man. And Olave staying healthy is big for y'all. And then getting Kamara back, y'all offense look like y'all can do some damage. Y'all defense, they can make turnovers. Like he said, Kool-Aid not playing, you can see the difference out there, Communication's seeing better, the secondary ain't busting coverages and stuff. Law: Definitely. Yeah. Yeah. Corey: They keeping everything in front of them. So y'all Law: Yep. Troy: And. Corey: got some young talent, I think y'all. If y'all could get another year with Suck playing the way he is, if not this year, next year, y'all can get that division. JB: Right. Law: Yeah. Corey: Let's go. JB: So la c I know we talked about Miller. I know you say you don't wanna put too much weight on cause he that fumbling problem. He had twenty carries for seventy yards. Were you impressed with it on him not turning the over? Law: Man, yes I was. And I love Kendrick. He's literally, he can average five, six yards a carry. He runs hard. He's smart on picking up, reading the offensive lineman. I do, I think that he is a valuable part. But I was impressed he held on to the ball. The more he gets into the game, the more carries he gets, the more he's susceptible to putting on the ground. But he didn't. But if he can run like that and play off of Kamara, I like that one too. JB: Yeah, 'cause again a hundred and seventy five yards. Donaldson had sixty I mean on thirty nine com before Kamara got hurt, thirty four yards. And I think he was gonna he was gonna have a a decent game before he got hurt. 'Cause he was he was involved. Law: Mm-hmm. JB: Did man, did y'all see that block he threw on when they flipped? Man Law: yeah, yeah, you're talking about when he came across the field? Yeah. That JB: yeah. Law: was impressive, because he caught that dude very late. he didn't even see him, and was able to get there. And I don't know if that was a, I think it was a first down play. But yeah, Calvin Camaro kind of went in his bag a little bit to see, I still JB: Right. Law: got it. JB: All right. that's all the good shit that we can win. Yeah, hooray, hooray. Let's let's keep it real. That defense and also we talked about the Law: Excuse me. JB: offense playing conservative, but that defense in that fourth quarter you think it was more because again we didn't have any tape on J J or they just was like, Man, we got this Troy: tell you what, what didn't JJ play in Minnesota like for a little second or two? JB: He barely. He barely. Troy: Yeah, all right. Well, you know, hey, bro, listen, it's football, bro. So you can't, yeah, I don't think so. Cause it Law: I don't think they're getting playin'. I don't think they're, I don't think they're. Troy: was more for, for James. So, Law: Right. Troy: you know, but at the end of the day, bro, the defense ain't do too bad. Who the dude is? Emerson 22? That's JB: Yeah. Troy: who? Say, bro, I was like, who the hell is that? Where he come Law: Yeah. Troy: from? Because he was JB: Right. Troy: on the balls. He was on it. JB: He he earned his check yesterday. Troy: Yeah, yeah, yeah, most definitely. Because I was looking like, man, who is this guy? When he got here? But you know, hey, I give the credit, you know what saying? But then, you know, again, in the full quarter, the boys went to going down, but they pulled it off. So JB: Yeah. Troy: congrats to them. Law: Yeah, that was big. We needed to get back, you know, kind of feeling good about ourselves. Troy: Who they got this week? JB: The numbers right. Law: We got Pittsburgh and London early Sunday morning. JB: We got your dog Aaron. He earned his check, bro. I know I know neighbors had a a a good game, but bruh, he he earned every yard that he was catching pretty much in that Troy: yeah. JB: first one. Law: Mm-hmm. JB: But that's that's a pretty good game for for a lot of cornerbacks. Law: That's a really good game. He really was locked in. Corey: Neighbors just start getting loose at the fourth, but he was doing solid them first quarters though. JB: yes. Law: And he was checking neighbors. A lot of them numbers put up on neighbors. JB: Exactly. And that's Corey: Mm-hmm. JB: what I hate about that fourth quarter. When you know when they playing that comeback, bro, that's why it I know all yours count, but defense Corey: There could be darkness. JB: them boys be playing, I hate it, bro. I I just hate it. Law: Yeah. And then, and then the defensive coordinator, he got conservative too, because he stopped, he stopped, he wasn't blitzing JJ. Corey: Mm-hmm. JB: Yeah. Agreed. Law: DJ was just kind of sitting back and just, you know. Corey: That part I agree on. Defense should have kept blitzing the same way they did Jameis. Don't let that well don't let Buddy get comfortable. Once they did thread and he started Law: And then. Corey: feeling himself, he started finding escapes and taking off running and that that started their whole Law: Cause Corey: momentum. Law: yeah, cause JJ not a quarterback too. You see what would happen on the most, Corey: Yeah. First ball he threw. Law: the most, Yeah. Cause they, they, confused them. Corey: Mm-hmm. JB: There's a reason why he couldn't be out of Law: So you, you, you. JB: Minnesota. Law: Mm-hmm. JB: So just I guess the question Law: And I'm in these stilling not to put Cam Jordan in coverage no more ever again for the rest of the season, please. I'm moanin' and drop that coverage, bruh. I'm like, come on, man. Corey: Hey that is the worst. Troy: Hey, but you know back in the days, listen, but you know back in the days he used to play, he used to do that a lot. JB: Yeah he did. He didn't. Law: Of Troy: He did that a lot back in the days though. Law: course. Corey: Man, he ain't no spring chicken no more. What year he on, like eighteen, nineteen, something like that? Law: That's two days long gone, man. No, no, Troy: Yeah, it is. Law: 15, Troy: What are Law: huh? Corey: Man. Troy: He been in it. This is last shit-o. JB: Yeah, it's a long time in the field. Law: Yeah, this is a rapper. JB: Anything over ten years is a long time in the FL. Let's move on to the hopefully the Saints offensive line and can continue to play and they next in the in Detroit against Troy old boy Aaron Rodgers, we can bring some noise to his ass. Corey: When Tyson supposed to be coming back for y'all? JB: Thank you. Law: You say after the the London game. JB: Yeah, after this one. So hopefully. Corey: Okay. I'm excited to see what he's gonna do in that offense. I think he's gonna help y'all out a lot. JB: hell yeah. Hell yeah, especially make everybody Law: Me too. Yeah, bruh. JB: healthy. Let's talk about Chris Larry. You y'all think he's he's getting his I he's having a hell of a season this year, I think probably his best season. Y'all think he he's getting that Corey: Mm-hmm. JB: respect from the that's I'm gonna say the top five. or y'all y'all don't see him in that top five right now. Troy: Nah, he on a break of it. Corey: I can't say top five, but he fringe top ten the way he's playing this year, though, for sure. He's right there. Troy: Yeah, he getting there, but he ain't nowhere in the top five. But he might be on the JB: But what he's doing at Troy: break up by seven or eight. JB: What he's doing that Watson London, this is the top five right here. You got S Smith, I can't pronounce his name. Jayas Jayas. You got him, Lava number Corey: Yes, yeah. Mm-hmm. Troy: See you soon. JB: t Chris number two, C D number three, Drake number four, and Watson number five. What he's doing that Yeah, he Corey: Are you saying the yards? You saying yards wise, right? Troy: They ain't got neighbors up there? JB: Nah man, he got and he and that's forty three catches for five fifty five eighty and in job what's we call him got forty nine for seventeen one seven seventeen. so I'm just trying to see that's why I say he's getting respect, but he's not doing Corey: no, ooh. JB: that the mother boy's not doing. What's up? Corey: Are you saying ranked as in like that's what people are saying it is this year or ranked like yards or touchdowns or what? JB: Yo yo yo th this top five that he's not getting I'm just saying I'm just putting out with his stats. But I'm saying why he not getting that respect of people talking about him, is it 'cause we losing or the same is the Troy: Well, first of all, first of all, like he didn't really play full seasons yet. I don't think he ever really played a full season since he been in the league. Why this year, think, you know, shit, they losing. Corey: Mm. Troy: You know what saying? then he ain't really, like every game, he ain't really showing out. He ain't not leading the league on a Sunday. You how they be having it where, this is who did whatever this day. He probably ain't leading or nothing. That's probably why he ain't really getting all the recognition yet. JB: Well, Lamb got get the same amount of wins as Lamb, unless Americans used to be team, but shit, Corey: Chill out now, hold on, man. Troy: Yeah. Hey. Corey: Hey, hey, watch out. Law: I think as far as, if he was to kind of knock it down to this year and where he ranked among receivers just off this year, think Corey: Yeah. Law: he got, you could put him up there as far as the production that he's doing. How many touchdowns Corey: Yeah. Law: he got there? JB: He has two touchdowns. Corey: I think he's looked at more like a specialist receiver, like a route runner. If somebody says who in your top five route runners, Olave name gonna be in there. Especially this year. So I think Law: yeah, definitely. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Corey: that's more where he's getting his respect from versus like overall. Because if you're looking at overall, they line up outside, inside, backfield like Chase, Jettas, JSN, Law: Yeah. Yeah. Corey: it's like them dudes. They just playmakers. They get the ball anywhere, get busy. And I Law: Mm-hmm. Corey: think Olave's route running and he gets schemed in his offense well too. So I I like the way Kellen Moore is using him in the offense and Law: Yeah. Corey: putting him in positions to be successful. JB: Neighbors Law: Yeah, I agree with that. JB: neighbors number seven, Adams eight, Flowers and Corey: Abers can be in that conversation soon to be in that top five where Troy: Wapooka! Corey: he's playing, boy. Hey, he he nice. JB: Puka got back late. Even though he got some good numbers he got back later, if I'm not r mistaking, with his the injury. Corey: Mm-hmm. Law: Yeah. JB: And that's that's what I was wondering about. Corey: You know who else been balling, man? Parker Washington, man. He a let him keep it up too, man. JB: Yeah, that's that's that's Law: Parker, what, what, what, what, what, what, what, what, Corey: Buddy in Jacksonville. Mm-hmm. JB: Thanks. Troy: Hey, Travis Hunter, Law: you Troy: nine. JB: He number sixteen. Corey: That's hey hey hey, he had a hell of a game, man. Troy: Hey, they need to get my boy the ball a little more, bruh. Shit. JB: We're gonna talk about him. Stop up jumping the gun, man. That's how we Corey: my my bad, my bad. I'm getting us off topic. JB: read the read the the the the the the get aga. Troy: We are ready, but I know, you know, we're just trying to, you know. Corey: Yeah. I knew it was on the convo, my bad. I'm I'm I'm I'm jumping the gun on it. JB: All right, man, let's let's get on let's see let's what we got next on the sorry, I think I got lost in that. All right, let's let's talk about the Bears, man. with Caleb Williams coming back, coming back from that that ham that hamstring injury to beat the Falcons. Ken is is are we are we are the Bears gonna be a day y'all think the Bears 'cause before I think he got hurt he they was doing good. Y'all think the Bears gonna be sudden like the best within the Troy: Yeah, definitely. Hey, they might win the NFC's. Listen, listen, JB: I won't put it I got a complete Troy: they ballin'. So listen, they can probably win the NFC's. I'll give it to Corey: Yeah. North, stay in the north. Law: the note, the note. Troy: them. Yeah, whatever. I'm talking about the NFC. whole, yeah, the whole NFC. Corey: I got you man. You mean the NFC conf the conference. Okay. Gotcha. Law: the whole thing. Ooh. Troy: I'ma say that. Like if they... If he come back and he really like gay, he probably can. Corey: I can s I you ain't wrong because I said they can make Troy: But I'm about to tell you. Corey: it I said they making it to the game against us before us started playing the way we did. Right now it's looking like them in San Francisco is the ones to beat. Cause Caleb, man, he looking he Troy: about a tape. Yeah. Corey: looking like Aaron Rodgers type special. Like his trajectory going Troy: Well, his test gonna come when they play Minnesota. Corey: that way. JB: Yeah, I guess two I rejo that. I'll just ask you. Troy: They test the common when they play Minnesota. So that's your seat. Corey: That's gonna be a hell of a game too. I like their defense. I like Law: Yeah. Corey: Minnesota defense, boy. Troy: Yeah. Law: Man, I didn't put too much stock into Atlanta, man. Atlanta won them two games. Atlanta is not a good football team. So I didn't put too much. It was a good warmup. It was a good warmup test for Caleb. But Caleb just got to show me a little bit more consistency, because he just, when you need it most. And he had a pretty good season last year. But Corey: Mm-hmm. Law: I... It's gonna be hard for me to think they gonna beat Green Bay for that. If Love can play like he's been playing the defense and give him something, it's gonna be tough JB: Yeah. Law: to get past Green Bay. Troy: It ain't Green Bay, it's Minnesota. JB: Yeah. Exactly. yeah, 'cause I'm Troy: It's Minnesota Corey: Yeah, yeah. Troy: in that division. Law: I think Minnesota's quarterback play is gonna catch up with him. Troy: Hey, I would say the same thing, right? But I just feel Law: I think the quarterback play gonna catch up with him. Troy: like, you know what saying? The higher looking, the offense and defense is playing together. So that's Law: Mm-hmm. Corey: Mm. Troy: why I get an edge to Minnesota. Corey: Man, I'm I'm with you on that. Minnesota looking nice, man. Troy: Yeah. Corey: Jettas ain't even really hit full like him and him and Kyler chemistry ain't even got to where I think it can be. And what he did with Sam Darnold, and now he got collared, I think he can potentially this offense should be a lot better than where they at. And they still, cause Kyler's injuries and stuff, haven't been able to gel and mess the way I think they would have if he's been healthy this whole season. But They defense been holding them down. If they offense get any better, boy, they finna be scary. Troy: yeah. Corey: But I like Chicago to come out of the NFC North. I'm with you on that, Troy. JB: Yeah, that's what I got on that one. And so what the next question? So, yeah, it was I think we all everybody agreed, I think, besides beside Law on Chicago. But man, I I don't I think they're gonna be I think Chicago's gonna be the team. I they I won't be surprised if the if they win every if they win. Hope they hope they don't beat the Niners, but I'm gonna still stick to my Niners. But okay, let's go on to the to the Ravens, man. Dude Damn Brad Was is I know it was a it was a it was a ugly game, ten to thirteen I believe it was. Corey: Mm-hmm. JB: Do we are are people sleeping on the Browns I know I know Lamar Troy: Yep. JB: wasn't there. Are they sleeping on the Browns defense? Troy: Yep, I'm Corey: Mm-hmm. Troy: about to tell you if you really look at it the Browns been having a defense For the last few years, you know I'm saying JB: Agree. Law: Yeah. Troy: but the offense wasn't there but the defense dude, they got some Especially like the secondary Corey: We got some gold. Troy: they got like some of the best secondary, you know I'm saying especially like the same thing, know, I see you got ward on one side You Corey: Delp it. Troy: got dog you got some dogs on on any secondary. They did line is not bad. It thought it's the often Corey: Right. Troy: Once the offense really catch up, aw man, say bruh, they gonna be. Law: They're going be nice. Troy: Yes, sir. Law: They're going to be nice. they defenses, like you say, they're keeping them in games. And then what they do, they run the ball, run the ball, and then get late in the game. And the Sean still can make a play or two. And that's how they've been winning. That's how they've been winning. I actually like that formula. If I can play small ball knowing that I have a quarterback that's not what he once was and is subject to make mistakes. If my defense is keeping, I'm gonna run this thing until I'm forced to pass. Corey: Mm-hmm. No, I hear Law: it Corey: you on that. And Deshaun, he's actually been making feet like plays with his feet. JB: Yeah. Corey: Like I didn't Law: Yep. Corey: think he'd still be have the same athleticism after both of them Achilles injuries, but Law: No. Corey: it seemed like he's getting more comfortable and he's starting to trust his legs more. So he's starting to take off and extending plays Law: See you, brother. Corey: and extending drives and stuff like that. Now, Denzel Boston Law: Hey. Corey: has been he's he's been the number one over there to me. You can go ahead and trade Judy, get him up out of there. Young man balling. Troy: Hey, yeah, get him out of there. Get him out of there. That boy's trash. Yeah, yeah, definitely. I believe that too. Yeah, definitely. Corey: Yeah, young man baller. Judy ain't doing nothing but being cancerous in the locker room to me at this point. All that all that diva poutant stuff and you haven't earned your stripes the way I feel like the way you act and think it is. Nah. Go and get him up out of there. Law: Hey, Troy: I Law: Judy made Troy: agree. Law: the cash to get him in Phil Goorey. Troy: Hey, he, other than that, what he's doing? I would say, yeah, Corey: He didn't do nothing else aside from that. Nothing. Denzel Boston, the number one over there. He ain't did nothing else. Troy: definitely. I say the same thing, too, that gotta go, bruh. Corey: Meh. Law: Yeah, he trying to get up out of too. He he trying to get up out of that. Troy: But ain't nobody gonna go get him. Law: Yeah, they're gonna have to release them. Troy: Yeah, but I'm saying nobody's gonna wanna take him. Law: Yeah. JB: Yeah, I'm not I'm I'm not I'm not Corey: I'm trying to think of a team that need a receiver. Maybe Oakland. Maybe Oakland might. Troy: They got a couple of them. They got a couple of them. JB: Claro, Troy: But I don't think nobody's gonna take us there. JB: Yeah, I'm about to say we we we got we need shit. We don't really have no damn receivers. Forty nine is shit on. I don't know how long Corey: Mm. JB: damn Evans gonna be out. Corey: Hey, they need to apologize to Brandon Ayuk too, man. He was telling them their training staff wasn't nothing. And you look at their injury list, boy, for the past couple years, Law: You Corey: everybody stay hurt over there. So I'm I'm going to tell him, hey, he was right to want to train independently. JB: Like somebody said I would not want to I would not want the forty nine. Law: I get it, I get it, but man, come on, man. He fumbled the bag on out. No, You might not play another, he might not play in the league, bro. No more. Corey: But nah, you don't never mess your money up as far as that goes. Yeah, nah nah I don't agree with that part. Hey, I'ma go up, I'ma show up to work, I'm yeah. Troy: He's not. I don't think Corey: Yeah. Troy: he will. Corey: Nah. He messed his chance up like that. He yeah, once you take it that far, it's tough. Troy: feel like he doing like that Mike Evans, mean, not Mike, what's the boy who was Corey: A B Troy: in New Orleans? JB: Thomas. Corey: Michael Thomas. Troy: Michael Thomas, he doing Michael Thomas, you know? Law: Yeah. Yeah. Troy: So I Corey: Michael Thomas was really hurt though. He had injuries that really derailed his stuff and then when he tried to come back, he just wasn't ever the same. Law: Yeah. Corey: Brandon Ayu just played itself. Troy: Yeah, because once Drew left, that was a wrap. He was like, I don't know if I can do it. So. Corey: Yes. Black man was the truth though. JB: Flatman. Law: Slam, man. Corey: Hey boy, hey, I promise you him and Michael Irvin was like some of the best last you'll ever see, boy, because it was automatic. JB: Exactly. Exactly. I'm asking this with with Lamar Jackson being out dealing with the injury. If y'all was and I think he'd come back in two weeks, I think they're trying to bring him back. would y'all 'cause I don't think Baltimore has a losing record. and and I think Huntley, Huntley, I'm saying his name right, that's the quarterback, he's playing decent ball, enough to keep the keep one game a few games here and you know keeping the game. Would y'all rush Lamar back? Like in a panic mode, I just like man, get at least get back to seventy percent. Troy: Nah, I'm about to say but that's the that's the problem with they always want to rush these guys back You rush them back too soon and look what happened They you know, I'm saying they get either they gonna get hurt again Or they're not gonna be what they was because you trying to hurry up and get them back man. Let them let them heal I understand Law: Yeah. Troy: you paying them all this money, but they gotta heal man. So You can't rush them back Law: What am I dealing with? What's this, Andrew? I can't remember. Troy: The ankle. Corey: Knee thing. Is his knee or his ankle? Troy: is angle. JB: His ankle, you guess what you say, his ankle? Corey: Okay. JB: Everybody. Law: And he, man, he's a, he's another one those. Corey: Yeah, that's where all your power come from too, man. You yeah. You gotta let that head up Law: He's a he's Corey: right. He JB: Yeah. Corey: ain't gonna be able to get up out the pocket like that or nothing. JB: Right, so that you he need he need his fee. So I would I would I'm with y'all, I would not rush him back. At least get him back to at least sixty or seventy percent Troy: Nice, at least 75. He can JB: Yeah. Corey: Yeah. Troy: go 75. I'll take a 75 Lamar over 100%. That press guy. JB: Shut, shut, shut. Corey: Okay, okay. Law: Yep. Corey: Hey boy stop me mid laugh, boy. You ain't hey Okay. Troy: Hehehehehe JB: Shot shot. Hey man, you know we save Corey: Boy Troy: you JB: the c we save the cowboys for last because you know how that's gonna go. Alright, let's move let's move to the team. Troy: Mmm. Corey: okay. I I I see I see how this gonna go. JB: Hey man, we we had hey hey Corey, we had to put the Cowboys segment last because we would never get through the show. Corey: You wouldn't have. I promise you you wouldn't. Hey, nah. JB: Man show like man, we need to put that cowboy section in the b I the last Troy: Yeah, I did that last week. said, no, that gotta be last, bro. No. JB: I don't know if you watch the show, but smooth man, smooth bro. He he be he be going in on his cowboy. That's a Corey: That's my dogs, man. Yeah. JB: I'm gonna have to get both y'all on the show 'cause we be I'm I we be Jewee jumping his ass on here. So he Corey: Man, I I tell my dog I got his back, man. We ain't I ain't gonna let him go out like that. Troy: Hey, hey, you see where Cory's camera is, You only see him from the neck on. That's good now, Keep that, keep, that's what you got on? That's the Corey: Hey man, so hold on, hold on. Let me yeah. Yeah. Show off for the roof today. JB: you see Troy: worst pose in the hand, bro. That boy trash, man. Keep the camera up, bruh. Yeah, just like that. I Corey: I I still believe in him, man. He's young. JB: Alpha. Troy: don't know why. Corey: I guarantee give him a year or two, he gonna be everybody gonna be talking about he he he gonna be like Boudabeka to me. Troy: No. Don't worry about it. Law: Buddha, Buddha Baker? Corey: Yeah, I promise Do you not see how he sees the game, man? I promise you. Law: Ooh, bruh, listen, Troy: Where do you see? Law: listen, I JB: Here we go. Troy: you Law: love Caleb, Caleb Donalds, I, bruh, big fan. Corey: Yeah, yeah, Caleb Downs. I I I probably gonna pull this clip in about a year or two and they're gonna be like, you know what, Corey, you was right. I promise you, young Troy: I'm straight. Corey: man is gonna be special. JB: Not stream like we had a Law: The freedom that he needs to be who he was at OU, he Corey: Mm-hmm. Law: can't get it in Dallas. The personality, he can't roam like. Corey: I think it's scheme too, man. Like the people he got around him. Deron Blaine gotta go, man. He he has been terrible. Man, he has been terrible. JB: yeah. Law: Yeah, we talked about that last week, bruh. He caught all them picks and got that money out of Jerry, bruh. That was crazy. Corey: Like he cost us a game last, man. He he had a pick six last week he could have caught man, look. That that's a whole whole we can go into that for days, but our secondary dude named Steed Law: But the behind is with you? Corey: who keeps getting burnt. Like like Law: But to be honest with you, Blaine at safety, that might not be a bad look. Transitioning him to safety and let him, the way he could catch the ball, bruh, Corey: Yeah. Law: bruh, he might be effective. He can't cover nobody's feet by it. But if Corey: Mm. Law: you could put him somewhere where you could free him up and let him roam, I think he would be a good transition to safety. JB: Let's let's move on to the other team that's in that division, man. Law: And y'all should have kept Diggs, bro. Y'all Diggs was decent, dog. Diggs was decent, bro. Corey: No, no. Troy: What? Stop that, man. Hey, you saw what Corey: I'm trying to I'm trying Troy: happened last week. Corey: to see Blender's safety is hard for me to see him that way. You gonna play the clip. JB: Yeah, boo. Troy: Who? Who you is? Man, go sit down somewhere. Who you is? Law: You JB: Yeah, that's not Corey: That hey, that's going down is one of the most disrespectful. Troy: What's your name? man, come on. That was terrible, man. JB: I know where I see him going, but I'm gonna have fate in them. like I got I Law: You Corey: Man, that's going down JB: got more fate in Corey: one of the most disrespectful. JB: these eagles than beach beach got sand. Hey Hey Corey: Absolutely. Troy: They're going fishing early. Law: you Troy: And listen, hey, they gotta go find them JB: I like a Troy: a quarter bank. JB: I gotta feel like a cowboy fan, man. I gotta have faith, man. Gotta gotta believe. Troy: Look, they gotta go find them a quarterback first, bro. JB: Yeah. Corey: I like Joe Milton, man. I like Joe. Troy: Yeah, hey, that's what they picked up Hey, dude, dude can sling the rock, bro. Who's laying around? He can sling their rock, bro So if that's the case, JB: Yeah. Corey: Yeah, they got him off our practice squad. Yeah, that's what I say. He he gon' he gonna throw it. If he in the gap. Law: They can. Troy: hey, that'll be good for him. But Joe can sling their rock. I like Joe I'll take Joe with that JB: Yeah. Corey: Yeah. Is Smitty out? How how long is Smitty looking at being out? Troy: He played! JB: He played it. He came back. Corey: I thought he got hurt. Troy: No, he played. JB: He hear he was injured but he can't even play though, for and I Corey: Okay, okay. JB: don't and I looked at the injury list, they didn't have him on injury lists, but should we can have all that talent, all them Smith and all that I mean we can have Mitt Joe all we want, but without them the damn players from Troy: Yeah. JB: from Barkley to Corey: Mm. JB: Smith being a hundred percent, and other players that we got missing out, man, we it's gonna be a sta a struggle regardless, man. Troy: Hey, what running back they got out there where y'all can go pick up, you know? JB: but he just somebody just cut Corey: I d I go well in the same boat as y'all. Out there in Indianapolis. Troy: Othello, huh? Law: Jonathan Taylor, Corey: But I see him going somewhere on like a playoff contender. Like if Minnesota wanna get him, boy, he a yeah. JB: Damn, somebody's Naj Najee just got cut. Najee just got cut. Troy: Yeah. Law: I seen Troy: Yeah, that was weird to me. Corey: Now you ain't got it no more. JB: It was. It I you think almost I know I we I don't know Troy: Yeah. JB: the giant but you think that was a kind of a I'm a I'm gonna get him for one game just to slap Scatterback, what his name is, in the face to show him that's what it Troy: Yeah, Scatterboo? JB: Scatter Boo Corey: Yeah. Law: And look, man, I heard, I saw a report today and it made a lot of sense. They was talking about Jalen being out for the year. He don't have any more guaranteed money. It was talking about Howie Roseman kind of, he didn't have his window at a championship and kind of blowing it up. Like putting guys like Tim, which you can get for Saquon this year, like blowing it up. Even he even got far as talking about firing Sirianni. Just go head on and just start from scratch. Troy: That'd be crazy. Corey: Damn. I don't know if they'll fire Seriani, but I can definitely see them pivoting and getting ready to move on. Like for sure. Law: Yeah. Yeah. Corey: Especially they think this is gonna be a good quarterback draft. They might go ahead and try and bite the bullet on that right there. Law: Yeah. Troy: Who coming out that's good like that? Corey: I like the buddy I like young man down there in Miami. Law: yeah, yeah, I do too. Corey: Hey nice. Law: You're talking about mint. Corey: Mm-hmm. He nice. I think he I think Law: Yeah, he is. Corey: he alright. JB: You don't like the you don't like the college draft this year? Quarterback's draft? Law: And hey, bruh, trinidad, Troy: Never. Corey: Arch Arch disappointing me, man. You I'm a long fan. Well, hey, you had that ready to go, didn't you? Law: trinidad, Trinidad, Trinidad, Trinidad, Trinidad, Trinidad, Trin Troy: man, you us funny. Hey, did you hear the song? You JB: They told him. Law: Hey, Trillip, Trillip. Troy: heard the song? What, what, what, what, Dude, I ain't JB: I think I Corey: No man, I ain't heard the song. Troy: asked for this. man. Corey: I've been avoiding social media the past couple of days, man. Like yeah. JB: They they that that that the same guy who who told Dak embarrassing, that's who Arch was talking to just now. Corey: Huh. JB: But yeah, back to Eagles, man. I think this is gonna be this is gonna be one of them years, man. I'm I'm j I d no expectation, man. I'm just gonna go with the flow. So all y'all again, y'all can stop trying to inbox me, trying to get to me with that eagle stuff. I know I told you Corey: Yeah. JB: it's gonna be a ugly win, ugly season for us. So that's how it is. Law: Hey, look. Corey: It's gonna be even uglier on Monday after y'all take this hell. Law: I want to kind of Troy: Well, listen, leave that alone. JB: We could. Law: go back to Corey: Yeah. Law: what Troy said on who coming out. I think Trinidad Chambers is the number one pick in the draft next year. I Troy: Hmm? Law: think Trinidad Chambers at Ole Corey: Yeah. Law: Miss. Troy: I'm about to Law: miss. Troy: tell you, I don't know if had that one good game against LSU. JB: How do you Corey: I think the young man out of Oregon still might be Troy: Man, listen, bruh, all these cats y'all talking about only really had one good season, bruh. And I don't like the fact that people does that. they doing real well. Man, but you had one season. Remember, the Givby 4 deals back up. Corey: You can say the same thing about Joe Burrow though. Law: Yeah. Troy: I said the same thing. don't think Joe Burrow, he had done what? Two seasons of LSU? Or one? Corey: He had one good season at LSU. Law: Yeah, I'm going to go season. Troy: Hey, what's up? But he was back up at first. But again, a lot of these cats, Corey: Yeah. 'Cause he moved from Ohio State to there. Law: Well, some... Troy: yeah, but a lot of these cats probably having this one good season, but you have been a backup for the damn last three years, but you come out one good season, but you be the mother people and they be thinking like, yeah, they can be the number one fit. Nah, man. I don't think they'd be like that. Corey: It depend on where you're quarterbacking at too. Alabama and OU had a run. Law: Hey, bro, some, some, yeah. Troy: Ohio State going to never paint out a good Corey: Dem flu. Troy: quarterback. JB: I agree. Troy: that they're coming to the league. Man, Corey: CJ Stroud is only decent one I'll say that I can think of. Troy: but he's struggling. He'd be struggling too. Corey: He was doing good this year, but he had the past two years he'd been going through. Law: You JB: Squad back data is y'all about? Which one? Law: See you next time. JB: okay, okay, okay. CJ. Corey: Mm. Yeah, this year he done turned it around but the past two, yeah, you're right. He the reason why they lost in the playoffs last year. JB: Yeah. Troy: But he probably the one and only. I used to like, what's the other dude, Braxton Miller. But he wound up being a receiver, but Corey: They put him at a receiver. Yeah, he was nice. Troy: he ain't last long in the league though. Because he went to Houston, he was in health, he had to receive him. Corey: Nah. It's tough transitioning from quarterback to receiver. Cause even Law: Nah, he ain't live long. Corey: Terrell Pryor, he did the same thing. Law: Yeah, Terrell Pryor. Then Terrell Pryor, JB: Another one? Yeah. Troy: But Taran was a dog. Law: yeah, was, didn't he switch to wide receiver? Corey: He was he was a solid receiver, he had the size. Troy: Yeah, he went to quarterback then received it back to quarterback Corey: Mm-hmm. JB: him. speaking of a a receiver that's gone from I play play played both positions, Charlie, we're gonna go ahead talk about the the history, I mean the historic night day that Travis Hunter had, man. only a couple of I think it's only three people that two other Brian Dawkins and Green. Troy: Two other people, two other people. Brian Thorgerson, another guy. Corey: Mm. JB: I think his name is Green, I got it right. Ryan Green Troy: Yeah JB: Ryan Green did it in eighty one and Dawkins in two thousand two, but man um's Troy: Travis bruh, listen. JB: Four receptions, fifty nine yards, one touchdown, three tackles and one interception. So, Troy, I guess I know I know Trav is your boy, so d do you think Jacksonville now using him the co like they need him? Troy: They not, they not. Listen, he's a person, man, look, you gonna throw him the ball, he gonna do something. You're not giving him the ball enough for me. On offense, we need him to play on defense. Y'all get, y'all say he can do the defense, put the offense apart. Y'all need him too. Cause the dude, the other guy that they have as receiver number seven, you don't really need him. I'm just hearing about him this year. I can't think his name. Junior, but they was talking about him. You know, I said they've been talking about Corey: You talking about out of LSU. Troy: him. But you know, man, Travis need to play on offense. Corey: You're talking about Brian? Troy: Yeah, they need to put Travis Moore on and give him the ball. Listen, you see what he do when he on offense when you give him the ball. dude electrifying, man. You saw what he did in Colorado. You saw what he did at Jackson State. Man, give him the ball. JB: You think they're not you think Jacksonville feel like they just wanna just they just don't wanna overwork him or wear him way him he's he's still Troy: Man, listen, again, but you gotta realize, I get that. Corey: I think them getting hurt last year scared them a lot. And Jacoby Myers and Parker Washington been balling this year. They've been doing good. So I don't feel like they JB: Yeah, that's what I was about to say, 'cause they they other receivers, man, they didn't make that. Corey: think it's been necessary because they've been winning that way. But yesterday they needed Travis. They should have used him more yesterday JB: Exactly. That that's that's actually what I was Troy: a lesson. Corey: for sure. Because he was the biggest playmaker out there. He was the best player on field. JB: That's where I was going at it, Corey, 'cause they they got some good weapons that's doing the thing right now. So I feel like they're not trying to rush them in. Well, we gotta give twenty plays. We gotta give this week. Troy: No, but my thing is like this, him, let him, you can put him out there as a decoy. You know what saying? Something where you Corey: Mm. Troy: you take it, like, you know, if he on the field, I gotta put, we gotta put eyes on him because you don't know what's gonna happen. And that's my thing. If you give him the ball, you give him the ball, but he needs to be on off. Corey: Yeah. I hear what you're saying. JB: No. Corey: They needed him yesterday. JB: Yeah. Troy: Yeah, what are we doing? I'm JB: No. Troy: pissed that they lost. Corey: Yeah. Troy: I wanted them to win, but shit. Corey: Yeah, I think they just trying to keep him healthy, like you said, JB. They trying to keep him healthy till the entirety of the season. I think they put too much on his plate too soon last year, and physically he wasn't ready for it. I think mentally it wasn't he he could've handled it. But physically, I just Law: No. Corey: think you see he's a lot stockier this year. Like he's coming downhill, JB: Yeah. Troy: But it didn't was a knee injury. Law: Yeah. Corey: he he's smacking shit. He's smacking people when Law: Yeah. Corey: he comes downhill. He Law: But Corey: He's been a lot more physical in his man-to-man defense. Like he can be an all-pro corner this year, to be honest with you. That's how good he's been. And I'm glad they've Law: Yeah. But that's it. Troy: Yeah. Corey: been letting him focus more on being corner. Law: Yeah. Corey: I do feel like his offensive playmakes, like he should get a lot more plays on offense for sure. Every drive, he should get at least one to two plays, three plays here or there, just trying to get the ball in his hands, see what he can do. Even like you said, JB: And even if they're Law: But I think, Corey: even if he's a decoy, get him at least three or four plays every drive. Law: Hey, think, but I think that they did, I think they did really well with how they did it this week. Play him, play all your snaps on defense. That I think he got nine, nine offensive snaps. You can feature him every time he touched the field. said, okay, Trevor, we just, this where we're going with him and use them in red zone. But I think the way they used them this week, I think it was perfect. Seven to nine to 12 plays a game. every play on defense. And when he ended on offense, can turn the game around if you need an important drive of situational. Troy: That's what I'm saying. That's my opinion about that. You know? JB: Right. But Law: Yeah. JB: his product his is is er is his product's going up 'cause at first he wasn't getting not really nothing on offense, but now you see him Troy: Right. JB: here and there. But I man, as far as c D B man, he's he's killing it on D B man, he's doing his thing. Troy: Hey, his awareness broke. Yo, his awareness. Corey: That wasn't pass interference neither. That was good defense. That was not pass interference. JB: Yeah, exactly. He 'cause he got the mind up he can play both just like Prime was, man. You can play you you can you know Troy: Yeah. JB: the r s you know the receivers r on route with everything. So you can see sometimes you can see the play before it even developed with a lot of these receivers. That's why he's so good at it at that D B. So Troy: And then especially if he really get to, you know what saying, get it well to like how prime was, know, you know what I'm saying, know the person that he's going to up against. Once he figured that part out, man, he's gonna be unstoppable. JB: 'Cause I would've loved to see him or him and Chase, man. That that'd have been a good match Corey: Yeah, his division or the receiver's gonna catch him. Law: Bye. JB: and a test for him for me. If if he c if Chase could have stayed healthy and finished that game, that would have been probably one of his biggest challenges so far this season against Chase. Troy: yeah. Corey: he that'd Law: Hmm. Corey: been his biggest. JB: Yeah. So yeah, man, shout out to that dude, man, breaking them record. He man, he's doing his thing, man. so out of all the we got s let me see, we got out all the teams that's two and four, what team y'all feel like is like, man, like Dennis Green said you you all with you who who who who we thought you were. we got I think six teams that what what team, in other words, I'm saying what team that y'all think have a chance to to be contenders or make a make a move and what team is not gonna do nothing. We got the Houston Texans, Rams, Cowboys, the Jets, Falcons, Coates, Saints, Philly and Arizona. Out of those teams, give me two of them y'all think that's gonna that can turn it around. Troy: Power boys. in Duran. JB: Chicago. Corey: I'm I'ma say The Rams is gonna be hard for them too, 'cause of their division. With Seattle playing the way they are and the forty niners, it's tough. That's the only reason why. But talent wise and they injured. read off one more time for me, Johnny. JB: I I got Houston, Rams, Cowboys, Jets, Falcons, Colts, Saints, Eagles, and Arizona Cardinals. Corey: I'm gonna have to say Houston, Houston and the Cowboys 'cause of the division they in is still winnable. Like they JB: Yeah. Corey: still got a chance to win the divisions. Law: I'm gonna go Dallas and the Saints because like you said, the two-week divisions that I can see Houston, I won't say it's gonna be tough, They gonna have to put some work in just to try to get to where they, you know, trying to be in contention. But Dallas and the Saints, you're talking about two really bad divisions. Corey: Yeah. I like the Marvin Harrison Jr. pickup they got, and I like Tank Dell coming back too. Tank Dell coming back, Troy: I was to say that, I was gonna say that too. I was gonna say that too. Corey: having Junior, and then that way if Nico Collins get nicked up, you you still got other playmakers that you can go to. When he was hurt, they offense sputtered, they really had nobody else that they can go to. Dalton Schulz was solid, but that was it. Law: Hey bro, that was malpractice that trade. I don't care Arizona, you a new coach. Bro, I Corey: They were just tired of in the building, I guess. Law: picked this dude number four. I'm not Corey: Mm. Law: giving up on in a year and a half or two, not giving that up dog. Troy: But why y'all think they gave him up? Like what was it that, you know what saying, that they even let him go? What was going on with that? Because I don't really pay attention to it. Corey: I don't think he ever really wanted to be there, man. I you can see in the way he played, he wasn't happy. It just you can see mentally he just didn't feel like playing there. And then Houston, you can feel his energy felt different when he came out. His routes looked like they was little bit sharper. The shit he took the catch, did catch, got hit, everything. So I think when he get more acclimated to to that offense, he gonna be he gonna be nice. JB: Yeah, sometimes you just need a new environment. Corey: Nah, for sure. Him, Tank Dell, and Nico Collins. Troy: shit I need to think to be healthy for Corey: He got a little nice squad. Troy: a season shit you know all the hype on tank bro listen Corey: Yeah, I know. That's what I said. They gon they gonna ease tank back in, but I like tank. Troy: all that hype on tank and tank ain't really show me nothing really because he just he always get nerd Corey: Yeah. Law: Yeah Troy: You know, he got that bug on him. yeah, yeah, most definitely. Corey: He talented though. I'll say that. He's talented, man. Troy: But he just got that bug on him. And I hate Corey: Mm. Troy: that for the guys, who have the potential to be that, but that injury bug, this linker, you know? Corey: Yeah. He remind a lot of Deshaun Jackson, like his build, speed, everything. He he but same same Troy: Not the shampoo. Corey: build that injury bug will catch him. Troy: There. JB: Man, that's a let's let's move on to this Monday night game, man. talk about the Washington Commanders versus the Forty Niners, man. what with all the injuries, I guess which what's y'all thoughts on the on the on the game first on with King I'm I'm just tired of seeing injuries, man. I know forty nineers dot the bills should be expensive should be a hella Corey: Mm-hmm. Law: You Troy: Listen, they always injured, bro. Corey: Yeah. Troy: They got probably one of the most injured teams, bro. They always getting injured. Corey: Yeah. JB: How to show it. Law: Yeah. Corey: Nah, they've been sh they've been the best best team in the league, man. Be honest Law: They are. Corey: with you and injured. Brock Purdy has been playing lights out, man. Law: Man, know, but you know what it comes down to, and we talked about this pregame, about Shanahan, man. He can get you leads, and then you get to the second half. And I understand he lost Evans, but Kittle was getting open. I don't know why you stopped moving CMAC around. So I don't know, he gets too conservative, and they... They just start off, they really was supposed to lose that game. Cause they called with that touchdown back on a, what it was a face mask on the office of lineman for them to go ahead on the league. But I don't know. don't know it's Sanahans kryptonite, man. just, I don't know if it's a play calling or if his Brock does not, cause he does not, as confident as he looked in the first half. He was like a den of headlights in the second half. Corey: Mm-hmm. Law: Now he didn't even know where to go with the ball. JB: Y'all think the play coding got changed? 'Ca it was up twenty to thirty. Corey: It definitely did. I feel like you said they took their foot off the gas. They were like, We've been dealing with a lot of injuries. I'm just trying to make it home. Like JB: Exact Corey: I'm not trying to get nobody else hurt up here. And doing that, they let they let the commanders get a little bit of momentum. They start making plays and before you know it, only take one spark to get the get the snowball going and it it's hard to stop that momentum when it gets on their side. JB: Y'all think Law: Yeah. JB: with with Fred Warner, I think they was it was covering the eyes on all those Hammer to Hammer tips he had. I think he had like three total. Corey: Boy, he was their defense was out there hitting, boy. Law: Man, he was man. Bro, he was laying that wood, bruh. He was laying that wood. I was like, man. Corey: Nah, yeah, you can hit pass through the T V, boy, that was yeah. Law: Man, he was lying at wood. JB: And shout out to what's the number six name for the I shouldn't know this dude's name. Corey: The safety huh? JB: Yeah, he man, that dude was balling, bro. he was all over the all over the place. I gotta give it to him, man. He has some he had some some big plays for us on that one. Yeah, man, I I I'm I'm with y'all, man. It's just like shine, he just keep on every he I I think he got I ain't gonna say he don't trust Burdy, 'cause I don't I I think they know him long enough where he has trust in him. It's just like he either he don't wanna get nobody hurt or Troy, your your six is about to win, Troy. one six to one. Troy: Now you lying. Let's go is. Law: It's over. They, yeah, they, they, New York didn't come out in the second half. Yeah. Troy: Come on, New York. Now they gonna make a big old stink about that LeBron trash ass. Law: Hehehehehe Corey: Ha ha ha ha. JB: I don't know why I got a mob on the Law: You Troy: I ain't do trash bruh Corey: He ain't a Laker no more. I ain't got it defended no more, man. Yeah. Troy: Man, that boy, I don't know why you liked him. Man, that boy, try it. Corey: Hey, if if you wanted the umbrella, it's Law: You Corey: always gonna be love, man. His son's still over Troy: Why? Corey: here. I'm Lakers fan, man. I'm a support beginning to end. Now once you off the squad, I couldn't care less. Troy: Man, this dude, he a Cowboys fan and a Lebron JB: Hello. Troy: fan. Come on, dude, you got it bad. You got it bad, brother. Corey: No, I hey I did not say a LeBron fan. I said Lakers fan. There's a big difference. Law: You JB: Now Gar Gary gonna do that that Kobe trivia with me, man, for the Lakers, man. He he he definitely not he definitely not LeBron do Corey: Most definitely. That that's my goal. JB: that one. So what Troy: Yeah, come on man, BEEEENDS JB: last question on Corey: Thanks. JB: about this forty niners then we're gonna go on to to the to the Cowboys. Who needs to need to step up for the real quick y'all? Who needs step up for the Niners offense wise with all these injuries? The people that's the people shit, the people that they have on playing for them. Shit, I just say that. Corey: I think who we talked about Troy: everybody. Corey: earlier in Jacksonville, Brian Thomas Jr., I think they need to make a phone call over there and see what Jacksonville wants for him. Like I think him in that offense could be what we thought Ayuka would have been in that offense. He he young. He definitely at had his eyes physically, he could impose his will on DVs and everything. I think he needs to change the scenery because he don't feel like he's being valued or used over in that offense the way he's supposed to. And Law: Hmm. Corey: he's still on his rookie contract and everything, man. JB: Yeah, don't go. Corey: From his rookie year, young Young Bull special, man. I think him with Shanahan, that'd be nice. And that'll give them what they need. Mike Evans Troy: And then the deadline about to come, huh? Corey: don't have to be the number one. He could be the red zone threat, third down guy like how he always specialized in. Getting somebody like that would make them the clear number one, even if they if they aren't right now. to come out of the NFC. Like I said, it's between them and Chicago to me personally. Cause Caleb's playing the best quarterback. And I would say Brock is definitely playing good quarterback, especially with the injuries he's had to keep winning like this. They they definitely got to put some respect on his name. JB: Right. Law: Yeah. JB: What you about to say, Troy? Troy: That's, don't worry about it. I don't remember. JB: Well let's go on Troy: when the deadline is, when the deadline is, trade deadline. Corey: Mm, November, I think was it like the eleventh or something like that, twelfth? I might be wrong. I think it's latest yeah. Latest is that Law: After week six, Is it week six? Troy: It was eight. It was six or eight. Law: okay. JB: Hopefully we can get something man to help him out. But I think can't s I wanna see him Corey: November tenth. Yeah, trade deadline November tenth. I knew it was something like that. Law: in. JB: Got a little sudden, got a little time, but I wanna say Caffy, but he should hopefully he can stay healthy, but I don't know man. I just want Purley to just keep doing his thing. Let's go on to those to these boys, man. Whew. Corey, start with you, man. What what what the what the fuck going on with the cowboys? Troy: Be terrible. Law: Man, bruh, Dag Prescott, Dag Prescott, man. Bruh, Corey: Jerry sold us a dream, man. Hey. Hey, Jerry sold us a dream, boy. Troy: They terrible. Law: I don't, like I was telling you last week, man, I've been saying this for a while now. He is too comfortable. There's no urgency. He does not seem like he's, I mean, the good game, bad games are like, do you even care? That game, Sunday night was just bad, man. He's throwing balls into coverages, bad interceptions, trying to force it. Corey: One of those I'm not gonna put on him. That that was C D slip. That would the other one yeah, the other Law: okay, we'll get it. Corey: one for sure. He didn't see the safety drop back. That was a good play. They confused him on that one. But Dak, he they Troy: What did they confuse him but look he Law: And what, then. Troy: first of all first of all no don't put that no don't do that Don't do that because if Corey: All right. Troy: you really go back to that play listen, he looked at lamb the whole time He never scanned the Corey: Okay. Troy: other side to feel or not. He looked at CD the whole time never looked and thought he was about to and your boy just man listen Corey: Easy touchdown. Yep. He is Law: And bro, Schadenheimer got that big ass playbook. He came up on a way to get George Pickens some, some, some, passes. It don't even look like he was the same receiver last year, Last year he was making plays Troy: That's because that But that's because Law: all over the field. Troy: But that's because he just that one give it to CD man, that's who he trusts JB: So you don't believe you Corey: No. JB: don't believe. Corey: You gotta give C you gotta give Pick at least three to four, fifty fifty, Troy: He said, in CD we trust. Corey: just hey, go make a play or it's gonna be PI. Nine times out of ten, Troy: Hey, listen, I'll... Corey: he gonna catch it or it's gonna be a PI. Either way it go, but you just gotta throw it up there and let him go make a play. Troy: Believe I believe daggers is more of a lamb a lamb person So he like I don't trust pickings like that. So this is who I'm gonna get a ball. That's who you look for Corey: He liked route runners like how he preferred to have Amari over a Dez type. Like he doesn't like the big physical throw it up fifty fifty. He wanna Prasaus right runner route runner be here at this time to try and play on time type of situation. He he don't like the explosive playmaker like that. Now C D is one of those ones to where he's a route runner, but he also great with the ball, like after the catch. Law: Mm-hmm. JB: Yeah, definitely. Corey: So JB: Yeah, we're showing out. Corey: That he to be in his tenth year he not seeing the field the way he should to me. Like and that's Law: No, man. Troy: And also let's talk about your defense too. Don't shy away from that. JB: Wait, wait, just put up both no. Corey: Nah, the offense ain't staying on the field long enough. If we already know that's supposed to be our strength, we can't keep putting the defense back out on the field. You need to extend some drives, Troy: Listen. Corey: the run game gotta be better. And why the hell ain't we getting CD and pick the ball? Like CD we throwing to too much. Like he he go into him too much to me. Like it's a lot of them times pick been open and he just Troy: I agree with that. Corey: didn't even look his way. And I'm JB: Exactly. Corey: like, I don't know if it's a contract situation, because we done heard in the past. How Dev said they tried to play him about his money. And after he scored that touchdown, he didn't see the ball no JB: Yeah. Corey: more. So it could be one of them calls from upstairs. That's what it's looking like. Troy: yeah, but that happens everywhere though. Law: Yeah. Troy: That happens everywhere. So, and then y'all boys, hey. Corey: If you wanna win, man, you can't man. That that let me know right there. If you wanna win, man, get the ball in your best players' hands. And last year he was one. I love him. Troy: Hey, Joy Porter, did Joy Porter, he looked like, why? Corey: Joey Porter Jr. Troy: Yeah. Corey: He the best pointer we got. Troy: I thought the person you got on is it? Is. JB: The Downs? Corey: He's still young. He's still young. That's what I'm saying. He's still developing. He's young. He's going to be one of them ones. Like I said, in about two or three years, he just got to get a little bit more experience under his belt. But I have all the faith in the world. He's gonna be it. But right now, Joey Porter Jr., I like he's one of them. We gotta play more men. And I know we want to, but our other corners is playing terrible. Joey, he's a Law: No, no more man. man. Corey: man corner. That's the terrible thing about it. So he can't even play in his strong suit because we can't play man because our c other corners is getting beat. Like terribly. And then we not getting pressure on the quarterback. So we got all day to throw. Troy: I'm glad, know, you might be a Cowboys fan, but at least you understand where your weaknesses at, You don't argue the point. I'm happy. You ain't like Smooth. First of all, look, you not like Smooth. JB: Totally. Until Corey: Man, I'm not gonna be illogical. Like I want them to win, but I I can see the flaw. Troy: He gonna defend, he gonna defend no matter what. They terrible, whatever. Law: Huh. Troy: At least you Corey: Yeah. Troy: understand the assignment. I'm glad you got that Cowboys hat, the Dallas backwards. JB: At all the Corey: Yeah. In the fourth quarter though, I was happy with my defense. They bowled up. In the fourth quarter, they bowled up. I give that. They wasn't letting them run all over Quentin Williams and and them was playing solid in the fourth and they gave us a shot. At least Dak and the Gotti offense has been disappointed. Troy: Listen, you know what? I forgot he even was on it. I forgot he was even on the Cowboys until he made he made a play and I was like, but damn, Law: Yeah, let her play. Troy: I forgot that he Corey: Man, Troy: even went over there. Corey: they've been Law: Yeah. Corey: they've been underperforming completely this year. The defense has been disappointed. All the people that he brought in, and Troy: I forgot that boy was even there. Corey: I'm not gonna blame Jerry because he's trying. He's going out there, he he trying to make deals, he's bringing in all these fresh people, all these players, thinking they're gonna make a difference. Troy: Yeah, y'all gonna get all these old ass people. Corey: Man. Troy: I'm get via Miller via Miller into nothing into that since he was in it and That what I'm saying he Corey: Von Miller had one eight sacks last year. That would have led my team. That lets you know we needed the help. Troy: do not since you for me he do not since he was in What what the Rams man shit so? JB: So so Corey, you said you you you're not gonna blame Jerry. So who who could the blame on on I guess they often. Corey: play calling. That offensive play calling has been terrible. And the defensive coordinator, I Troy: That defense, that court, that defense of quarrel near the trailer. Corey: wanted to give him a shot, but golly, man, he JB: I know. Corey: Some of the play calling, I'm sitting here wondering, like, this can't be what he pitched to them over the summer when he tried to get the job. Because if you say you was in this situation and you was gonna run this play, they would have told your ass, go on go and pack it up, go back to where you was at in Philly. JB: Yeah, I remember you was you was sold on him to at the beginning, what you call him? Corey: I was, man, and I was dead wrong. I said week five. I said by the Texas game, this defense should be looking like a well-loiled machine. I said, give it to that time. That time came and went, and the defense still looked terrible. Like they look worse than last year, and I didn't think that could be possible. Law: you JB: Didn't they take the play calling from him? Corey: Yeah, man. Yeah. Yeah. JB: Only four five games four. Law: But that's the only Troy: Hey! What he not? Law: thing too, You know how I feel about black coaches, You can't, yeah, bro. Corey: That's what I wanted to believe in them, man. You can't come out like that. Troy: Listen, the thing is Law: But wait, just think about this though. Is it the coaching or is it the personnel? Like which... Troy: personnel. Corey: I say coaching because the person I really wanted to get the shot was Al Harris. Cause when Al Harris was in charge of our DVs, man, we led the league in turnovers. Be it interceptions or punch the ball. He was the DV coach when Diggs got his eleven and when Bland got his pick six record tie. He was about taking the ball away. Like I think he should have had an opportunity as the DC before anybody to at least see what we can do. At least I know he can turn the ball over. This they they don't do nothing special. Like, nah, he up in Green Bay. Troy: But the- Law: He still there? LHR? Okay. Troy: But the guy who's your coordinator now, he never was a coordinator. He was like, you know, he was something else. he wasn't, you know what saying? Like he wasn't, like all those Corey: The defensive passing game coordinator. Like he was DB coach. He wasn't ever called in plays. Law: Yeah. Troy: jobs that he didn't have, like people like, how he even got the job. I understand, know, the black guy. Corey: you talking about Shoddy, our head coach. Troy: No, the defense JB: What the Troy: coordinator. Yeah. Corey: defensive coordinator. Yeah. Well our DC and our head coach both in that same boat. Cause Troy: there. Corey: Schadenheimer wouldn't have been a head coach anywhere else if Dallas didn't hire him as that. And at that point in time, I didn't want him Law: I didn't understand that either bro. Corey: to be the head coach, but I was like, if that's what we're going with, it is what it is. I would have rather just bring somebody else. Law: Bro, Jared couldn't come go get nobody else, man. Troy: Man, come on, look who we talking about, Jerry. JB: Right. So Kurt, what you see about y'all finishing the rest of the season. Corey: Nice. Law: Nobody else. How you go from Mike McCarter? You could have kept Mike McCarter. Corey: I would have rather had Mike for this. Hell, at least we was getting twelve wins and making the playoffs. Law: Hey, J. Day, say what you want about Mike, bruh. 12 Corey: I took it for granted. I'm not gonna lie to you. I did. Law: wins and the offense was in the top five every year. Corey: offense was top five. If Dak was healthy the offense was top five and we was at least in Law: There we go. Corey: contention to win the division if we didn't. JB: You see y'all wait where you where Law: There we are. JB: you see y'all going now the rest of the season? you you think y'all gonna get better in defense? Or you think what it is It's funny Corey: Hey, the laughing ain't necessary, man. Come on now. JB: it's funny in Sanny's man. so so where you s where you see y'all going? I know you say it you think y'all can change it, y'all can turn it around being two and four. You think y'all gonna 'cause the division is trash. I don't know what the hell the Giants gonna do. I'm not gonna count them out 'cause if J J might turn turn the team around. He might Right now, I know. Corey: I think JJ, they like you were saying earlier, that that game was just wasn't prepared for him, come in, get a little bit of momentum going, and then that's it. But Law: Nope. Corey: if he looked like that again this next game, hey, they they might have something. And you know what they're gonna say in New York, who really gonna be? Because if if Dark can't stay healthy and JJ play solid the rest of this year, they could be looking at that. But for this year, New York is only team I see really being capable of it. I don't know what's going on with Jaden Daniels. He late game situational awareness ain't been there. Philly out of there. I like Joe Milton, but I don't think JB: Illegal. Corey: I don't think he's gonna know that offense well enough to be able to step in and immediately make an impact to give them a chance to do that. I'm not worried about our defense. It is what it is. Like I I think it can't get worse. And every time I say that it does, but I don't JB: Yeah. Corey: think it could get worse than where it's at. Our offense has to step up. That's the they gotta score Troy: Well, you should take that statement back. Corey: 30, they gotta score 30 a game, man. I don't know who's gonna be taking over the play caller and what the hell is gonna happen, but we ranked 31st out of 32. We we at we we bottom we at the bottom. Ain't nowhere to go but up. Troy: Hey, let Jared be the play caller. Corey: The play caller defensive, I can see the difference this game. JB: So so Troy, you you you trust Corey: But Green Bay gave up a lot of touchdowns too. So it should have been forty plus. But yeah, I I'm going I'm going with us, man. JB: Right. Troy, do you trust you do you trust Zach? I don't know, I do you trust Zach to be the quarterback the Cowboys need to finish shit, I guess to say the season. Troy: who else they got so you gotta keep the ball in the same he got nobody else it just you know got rid of the other one so JB: And b You don't believe in Mr. Here We Go. Troy: Nah man, nah. How he was on that dance, when he was dancing? Law: No, no, no, bruh. Hey, hey, bruh. Say, hey. Corey: Hey man, that's the best quarterback in our division right now. Law: Hey, bruh. Corey: Well, that's disrespectful, boy. Hey, no, Troy: Mommy? Corey: no. Law: Hey, bruh, Dak got his money, bruh. Dak got his money. And then you get, what you gonna do? He goes out there with the most national ass attitude that you don't wanna see from your quarterback. You're like, okay, damn if I do, damn if I don't. And he showed you. Corey: I'm not gonna you can win a championship with Dak. Law: But just think, JB: I don't think it's not funny thing. Troy: Huh? Say that again? Law: just put this in perspective. Corey: Mm-hmm. Law: The second half from Houston, we talked, Houston to me still has a real top five defense. The second half he had in Houston, and you put it next to these last two games. You can't even, there's no way that you, that's what I'm saying. That's what I'm saying, bro. Corey: He don't look like the same person. That's why I'm trying to find out what happened. These past two games, he ain't seen the g he ain't seen the field the way he's supposed to these past two games. Dak, Law: That's what I'm saying. JB: True told he should have points and Corey: he has the potential to be a top ten QB, and in some games it look like he I don't know what's going on. I don't know if it's a mental thing or what, but Dak, the the consistency, like I said, for him to be 10 years in the league, the consistency should be better than what it's at. And he JB: Just Corey: got weapons. That is that can't be the excuse. Troy: So why you say he gonna take y'all to the soup border? Corey: I said you can. I didn't say he was. If Sam Darnold can win a championship, Dak Prescott can win one. Troy: No, hey, he been there 10 years. Listen, no, can't. He been in the league this long and he only got what, two playoff wins? Come on, man, he ain't gonna do nothing. He's terrible. Man, come Corey: He ain't had the same type of defense that Seattle did last year. That's why I said if you put Dak on that Seattle team from last year, I think you still win that Super Bowl. Troy: He wouldn't. Dad wouldn't win. Corey: I I think you can win it with him. I'm beyond the Troy: say, y'all didn't have a couple of defenses with him. He still ain't doing nothing. Corey: We ain't never had a defense that we've had defenses that know how to take the ball away, but when it come to actually making a stop, nah. We gave up what, forty five to Green Bay that year? Troy: But listen, bro, y'all ain't gonna win no more. How old are you? How old are you? Corey: I was five the last time we won one. Yeah. It's it's been a minute. Yeah, it's been a minute. Yeah. Troy: I'll write them. The perfect example. That means you ain't going nowhere. JB: At least at least he heard about the So he heard about the poor. He heard about it at least. Corey: I was in kindergarten, man. Yeah. Yeah. Troy: That's even worse. That means y'all ain't gonna win. That's it. Corey: But we JB: man. So let's let's move on. So Corey: We building toward something, man. JB: again we got like we say we always can go back and forth this cowboy section. That's why I love this love that part, man. Let's go on onto this new segment I have added to the show. It's called Put Some Respect on Put Some Respect on His Name. And my first one, I gotta give it out to I can say Elvin man. He reached the five thousand rushing and five thousand receiving arm thing, man. So man, this is a hell of a deal. Corey: Man. K one of my favorite favorite running backs in the league too, man. Well with well deserved. Law: Yeah, well, I think I only want 60 guys that have done that before. Corey: Mm-hmm. JB: Yeah, it it was I got the list right here, I know. Corey: Marshall Falk, I know he's one of JB: The Damien That's Law: Hey, is Alvin a Hall of Famer? JB: my next question I was about to ask y'all. Law: Zarka. JB: You good, no, no, go ahead. What's your thoughts on it? Troy: I won't say first ballot. Law: I think, no, no, no, not first ballot. I think he can get in on maybe second or third. JB: So y'all say not on first, so is Mc McCaffee a first ballot? Should they been in the same boat, injuries? Same amount of I think McCaffrey got by a couple thous about a thousand yards. Law: If McCaffrey, Troy: Not first ballot. Law: which you know, McCaffrey is younger, but if McCaffrey win the Super Bowl, I think you have to put, you put McCaffrey in that. Well, where he gonna finish at? Troy: And then you gotta look at it. Remember. Corey: I think though the team success McCaffrey don't get that bid on him 'cause it's team success. Troy: You gotta remember... It's a difference. It's a difference. Law: yeah. This is different, huh? Corey: Hey CMC regard regardless of that, CMC liked that. He wanted them. CMC wanted them for Troy: But you gotta realize. Law: Yeah. Corey: sure, regardless of that. I just think because his team success is the biggest factor of why CMC would get looked at different. Because a lot of people they say they don't give Emmett his respect though, because his team success and his offensive line and everything, but he health is a big part of it and consistency. Law: Yeah, it's hard to argue with Emmett. But it's crazy because Corey: Yeah. But CMC, I think, yeah, he can be burst. Law: the Emmett-Smith thing is crazy because I think what the two of them Super Bowl years or one of them Super Bowl years, Emmett was MVP of the league. Corey: Exactly. But I don't feel like he get the respect he does 'cause that offensive line he had was probably the greatest of all time. Like they they he had some monsters. Troy: Yeah, most definitely. Big Larry? JB: Yeah, probably because Yeah, 'cause you know what they always keep saying? If if Barry had a line, Barry did this, Barry gonna retire. That's why I think Emmett don't get that love like he's supposed to, 'cause Corey: Been the quarter, boy, that's a JB: they're always gonna compare him to what if Barry did this. Corey: Barry wouldn't have been Barry if he had a good offensive line though. At least half them electric plays you saw, Troy: Right. Yeah. Law: No he wouldn't. Corey: they wouldn't have been necessary because he wouldn't have got touched till ten yards up the field. He would've shook the safety and been gone. Troy: Yeah, right. Law: Yeah. JB: So my next one I got up man, and these this these three dudes, man, them dudes bald, man. I got Jalen Ramsey. Corey: Mm-hmm. JB: ten tackles full for loss, two sacks, DK and what Gerard B but Bernard, he played for Seattle too. But them dudes, man, they bought they did their thing. Troy: Hey, the first week of DK and Mel Cap not gonna be on my he not that dude damn I was trying Hey, JB: Yeah, I don't know. Law: I didn't realize DK had that kind of game. Troy: I ain't gonna lie. Listen when I when I did Peep it out and I was like, let me see what he's doing. I was like, okay I can't talk shit about him this week But that was the first thing I told John I said, man Corey: Right. Law: Cause they, cause Pittsburgh didn't, Corey: Normally he dropped a lot of passes, so I'm gonna put some respect this week for sure. Law: cause the Steelers couldn't do nothing until the second half I think. I Troy: And predict shit. Corey: Mm-hmm. Law: think they was like stalling out in the end of the third quarter. That's when they kind of picked up steam. But man, DK had case man. Corey: I think everybody started getting tired and then man DK a big dude to try and tackle for four quarters, man. Hey, eventually, boy. That's Troy: Man, this kid not that dude bruh. Law: There he is. Corey: like how Derek Henry do they just eventually just wear you down, man. Troy: I think he's not that Law: Nick. Troy: dude, bruh. He just... He just big. Corey: He's he's not he's a great he's a good number two to me. And he dropped the ball too much. I don't JB: Yeah, it's Corey: see him as being a number one because he can't when you need him to make JB: You heard that book now? Corey: a play, it don't get made. I'm sorry, that's just it. But physically, he's probably d the most physically gifted as in speed, size, Troy: Yeah. Corey: strength in the league. Troy: I'm about to tell you, you remind me of, now I know this might take y'all off, David Boston. Law: Yeah. Corey: He a little faster than him, but I get what you say. Troy: No, yeah, I'm not talking about the size-wise. Size-wise, you know what saying? Yeah, Corey: Yeah, like they the same size, they big physical receipts. JB: well. Law: Yeah. Troy: that's who you remind me of, David Boston. Boston was a big dude, Corey: Yeah, that's a good comment. Law: Yeah, Troy: bruh. Law: that's a good comparison. JB: Yeah. Corey: And they both had drop issues. Troy: yeah, yeah, yeah. know, Boston wasn't like the coldest, but he, you know, he was a good player. yeah, yeah, most Corey: Mm-hmm. But once he got the ball in his hands, boy. Troy: definitely. Yeah, without a doubt. JB: Right. So don't sleep on Ramsey. I know all that sounds good, but man, the game that Ramsey had, man, and then he had the game winning I hate to say game winning, but yeah the tackle, the sack that pretty much won a game for Troy: Yeah. Corey: Still did, man. Him going to safety was the best thing he did for his career. Since he'd have been there, he revitalized like he did the same thing that Charles Woodson, Rod Woods, and all them great corners when they go to safety. I think he he Troy: yeah, most definitely. Corey: in that second half of his career and he's still being productive. So I'm happy to see him balling up there again. Troy: But what JB: Yeah. Troy: that's only doing, that's making, when you know how to see it from the corner back, once you go to safety, you really can see everything now. So yeah, most Corey: Everything. Really? Troy: definitely, that's like one of the best things to do. JB: Hell yeah. Sure. I think Law: Yeah. JB: I think that's all I got for one more I got tell me how you feel about Law: my God. That's brownie JB: This man got his own shoe. Law: shoe? Troy: That is prosthetics? JB: Put some respect on his dude name. He got his own shoot coming out, man. Corey: Hey shout out shout out Lil Bronny man. Hey, hey. I ain't never gonna get mad Law: dude, we cannot do. Troy: Man, that's, ay, ay, ay. Look at that shit, man. That look like, JB: No sp Corey: at somebody for trying to get some money, man. Hey. Troy: Hey look, he only got that cuz of his daddy. This poor guy done messed you Law: Hey, bro. Hey, no. Bro. Corey: That's fine. Hey, nepotism worked fine for me too. I ain't mad at him. I'm hoping I can do my kids the same way. Yeah. Troy: Hey, so you gonna Law: But Troy: go buy your shoes? Law: hey, brother. Troy: You gonna buy a pair? JB: I'm I'm asking you first, man. I you would look at Corey: might use them. Let me see Troy: Hell no I ain't buying that shit. I don't buy the poor shoes. Corey: how comfortable they is. They might be good jogging shoes, man. JB: Look at this man. He got look at that. That don't look Troy: Hey, listen, look how ugly that is. Corey: Nah, I can't I need ankle support. I can't I can't do it. Troy: Listen. Law: But let me ask you this. So I understand nepotism. I don't have no problem with LeBron doing what he's to get Troy: I do. Law: his kid in the league. But Corey: Mm-hmm. Law: my thing is, are you gonna, it's no way that LeBron should be on the active roster today, man. Troy: Here go, Law: This AI, bruh, this not a real clip, huh? Troy: Look, watch it, watch it. JB: Man, I don't know what you're talking about, man. That dude he he didn't Law: He should have been cut today. gonna cut, you gonna cut, bruh. You gonna cut, dog Corey: I'm not gonna say nah, he ain't that bad. He he is not the worst person in the league. Ronnie has potential. Troy: Yes. Yes. Law: to connect, a guy that can stretch the floor and can legitimately play NBA ball. Man, the preseason Brownie had was hog. And Brownie Corey: Daughter Connect IQ wasn't where he was supposed to be at. He wasn't making smart places. Law: is? Come on, Brian ain't supposed to be in the league, JB: So you Troy: Hey, hey, we about to click you off, Cory. We about to click you off, yo. Why JB: Amen. Law: Brown ain't supposed to be in the league, Troy: would you even, why you even looking like Like, yeah, he, dog, come on, Brian, is she still being college, brother? Corey: That part I agree on. He should have took more time to stay in college. He shouldn't have came out in the league that year. Yeah. Troy: He should have played four years in college. Corey: I think he if him playing four years, he could have developed better. And I think he would have been like his style could have been like a Josh Hart type of style play. Good defense, boards, make smart plays, communicate, and then can hit shots every now and again when you need them to. Troy: I can see that. But he should have stood in college. Like him coming out, no, it JB: Right. Corey: But he wanted to play with his pops and I ain't mad at you. I ain't mad at him for Troy: wasn't him. It was his poor with that. I just wanna Corey: Yeah. They Troy: play with Bronnie, man. Just wanna play with Bronnie, you know? Now he wanna play with Bryce. Now he wanna play with Bryce. Man, nah, man. Corey: Yeah. Like you said, man, if if I had an opportunity to play with my I'm not gonna fault somebody for a situation if I I would have did JB: Okay. Corey: the same thing. Hell yeah, I wanna play with my son, like JB: Hey man, y'all just been up Y'all Corey: Ken Griffey Jr. and senior. Troy: But that was different. JB: You be on the lookout for those new bronnies coming out, man. I know they're gonna be probably g gonna be like I was telling Jay's probably I see that happen in a few. Troy: Hey. Corey: I think Brownie gonna be a solid pro, man. It's gonna take him a Troy: No you're not, no you're not. Corey: lot of years to develop, but I think he'll stick around. He might be a journeyman later on in his career, but he's gonna get at least eight to ten. Troy: I don't agree. JB: So I know I Troy: I disagree. JB: know we're talking football charge. Real quick, what if he become one of the we you see him being a six man at least? Troy: Nope. JB: What wh what number on a bench you see him being? Are you even on Troy: 15 Corey: Rotational? Hey man. Hey, he ain't that bad, Troy: 15 15 Corey: man. He can definitely be a a rotational guy, man. JB: Take Corey. Take care, I'm gonna move on from him and gonna move on from this this subject with law and you know in Troy, man. So you get them dudes. Corey: Man, Troy: Hey, listen, listen. Corey: just straight disrespectful, man. Troy: So, I guarantee you, watch them shoes be over $200 and he ain't gonna get no sales. He gonna get sales from his mom and his daddy and his brother gonna buy a pair. Man, know they dope, boy. So your son like, Brandon? Corey: Nah, the kids kids love Bronny man. Nah, kids love Bronny, man. JB: But Corey: The kids love I said kids, man. Kids love Bronny. I ain't got I got girls, so that's that's different. Yeah. Troy: Ain't nobody like no Brownie. Ain't nobody like no Brownie, man. JB: Man got amazing followers and social media, bruh. Corey: His jersey his jersey was the highest selling rookie jersey of his rookie draft class. Troy: Hmm? Corey: Bronny jersey was the highest of his rookie draft class, man. Troy: Stop that! daddy must have bought all them jerseys. Cause there ain't no way. JB: I'm going I'm a I wish I could we're gonna come up with a bed. Well, I'm gonna if you if you lose this bed bro you gotta wear that jersey and make sure you take it take pictures of it. We're gonna come up with a bed. I'm gonna get a get your Troy: no, we not, we not came for that. Corey: Man. I'm with that. Law: Hey, bro, got that Corey: Yeah. I'm with that. Law: Chador effect, man. Corey: That's what I'm saying. But Shadorka who Shador can play Law: brony Corey: though. Troy: No, not at all, Law: just don't know know me like as far as like the kids liking them and a big fan popularity that i'm talking about Corey: Like the popularity situation, yeah. Like you had a famous Troy: No. Well, how'd get... He only got that because of his Corey: pop, see Yeah. Troy: name. Corey: Yeah. Law: Yeah, that's bad. True. True that too. Yeah, I believe Troy: It's Law: that too. Troy: because of his daddy, not him. What has he done to Corey: Yeah. You you right. Troy: be like Gad? Brian it boy. Because I ain't gonna lie, real shit, if he was really good, I'd be like Gad, Brian it bro. Brian is a dog, but Brian is not a dog. Corey: Okay, answer me this so if Bronny not popular if Bronny not popular Troy: I like, listen, I like Bryce. I like Bryce over Brian. Law: You Corey: I can say that Bronny Bryce is the more physically gifted of the brothers, and I think he got the better potential. But answer me this. In his draft class, who was the number one overall pick in Bronny draft class? Troy: Listen, I don't know because I don't watch college basketball. Corey: It don't nobody care about nobody else out there draft class but Bronny. That's what I'm saying, a popularity wise. His shoe gon' sell. Troy: But the only reason you know about Brian is because he's dead. Corey: For sure. That's the only reason why. Law: Yeah. Troy: That's the only reason why we know he got drafted because of dad. Corey: The last name. It's in Texas. I'm dealing with it right now with Arch Manning. Arch Manning has been terrible for us, man. Especially the last two games he cost us. But that Manning name go a long way. Law: Yeah. Yeah, but Corey. Troy: Hey, you saw what that boy did last week? this weekend he was Law: But, but Cory, to, Troy: terrible. Law: to Arch, to, Corey: Yeah, that manic name go a long way though. Law: but I don't think, I like Archman in the lot. Troy: Why? Law: I think it's Sark, man, I'm telling you. Sark is Sark, bro, I'm telling you. Corey: Some of them play calls is crazy, but nah, Arch Troy: No, listen. Hey, come on, love. You from here, right? You from New Orleans, right? You watched Corey: he not he he definitely not seeing the field well and he rushing. Man. Law: I'm Troy: him in high school? Law: I didn't, but I had a guy that worked at Newman. Troy: Okay, that's why that's why that's why that's why you saying that because in high school he was He he ain't play nobody But he was putting up numbers. Corey: Yeah, he was what, three eight or something like that in that street? Troy: He was putting up numbers right against Corey: Mm-hmm. Troy: Mediocre talent, but then when he played a little talent he lost Corey: Yeah. Law: Yeah. JB: Green. Well, I try, Bronnie. As usual, I'll be trying to get Trina Dad some props on here, but Troy, he be killing us, man. killing y'all. So my last put some respect on it was Emerson, man. He had a good game. So I'm gonna go with that. And so we're gonna go from me giving Corey: Yeah, JB: flowers out to Troy giving doing this little doing this show. not showing no love to no to nobody on deserving, man. So let's get ready for Troy's sex segment. You already know what it is. Troy, what what do you got for your second man? What you got? Troy: Come on. Come on, you gotta pull them up. JB: I forgot what he was, man. Troy: Come on, Brian. I forgot too. He was supposed JB: I damn it I got it right yeah. Troy: to have him. JB: I was supposed to call you back and see what the name was. Troy: Where was I? JB: Text it to you on Troy: No, you didn't text it to me. It was three people. JB: Mid my own. Troy: You done messed up, bruh. JB: My fault, y'all I I don't know why I thought we had it on a Troy: So who it was, I said, I I said like that, Sam Darno, JB: Yeah. Troy: and somebody else. I don't remember who the other person was. JB: Dammit. My bad, man. I messed the album up. I could've sworn on Corey: All right. Troy: Kinda messed up my segment though. Corey: We can go ahead and stop at the deck. If you starting the deck, the list already threw it off, man. Nah. Nah. Your list Troy: Yeah man, that ain't doing nothing this week. Law: Hey, dad, dad. Corey: already threw it off if you put my boy Dak on the list, man. Like I said, he Troy: Hey man, listen, bro, listen. Corey: He might not be the best, but he damn sure ain't the worst. Law: No, he's not the worst. think Dak is a very Troy: Listen, I'm not saying he the worst, but he do shit this week. Law: good quarterback. I just don't think Corey: He top ten to me. Law: in the league right now. Corey: name name Tim better. 'Cause if I hear a Herbert or a Darnold or or anything like that. Law: No, he ain't Troy: Herb, Law: gonna hear from me. Troy: Herb is like last. He probably Corey: Man. Troy: like 45. And he must have got 45 Law: I'm taken. Troy: teams on him. You know what I'm saying? Corey: Yeah. Troy: Like, Dorn, I'm gonna say Herb is trash. For real, for real. Law: Hey, listen, listen, man, I don't think those Corey: Disappoint. Law: 12 wins over the Mike McCarthy era, I don't think that they were flukes. Corey: Yeah. Law: When you get to needing Dak to play the way he need to play, he can't do it. That's why don't think Dak can ever win the Super Bowl, because he does not raise his level of play. He don't raise his game. Corey: You need a great running back and a good defense for Dak. And I think he, like we were saying earlier, you can't pay big time money to somebody who's not a force multiplier. Like Josh Allen, Law: Sorry, but- Corey: he a false mo he's a force multiplier. Patrick Mahomes, he's one of them ones. Lamar Jackson, them dudes, you can pay top dollar because they can make nothing out of something. Dak, he needs more talent around him to be successful. If you give him talent, he knows what to do with it. Law: Before he broke his fibula, I thought he was more mobile than what he was prior to the injury. I think he was moving like... Corey: For sure. I think he don't trust his legs no more, he too scared to get hurt. It's a lot of times where he could have took off and made a play that I don't know if it's just injuries took Law: Buh. Corey: a toll and he ain't moving the same way or he just scared to take off because he don't want to get hurt. Law: But then another thing too, I can't even give the argument of the need the defense. Them years, like you said, Diggs had 11. Bland took what, sticks back to the house. They were turning the ball over. They just... Corey: That defense couldn't stop the run and that's what got them killed. Teams was just running all over They stopped throwing the ball. That's why I was seeing Law: But I don't think that that was exposed until the Green Bay game. I don't think that nobody knew. Corey: San Francisco did it to us too, 'cause they just they imposed their will on us. We we played San Francisco. Law: What was that? That was three years ago or two years ago? What year was that? When Green Bay came to Dallas. Corey: It was two years we lost to San Francisco and then the other year we lost to Green Bay. And the Green Bay Yeah, the Green Bay The Green Bay game. Law: The green bay was the number one seed lead, right? Y'all was number one seed, right? Corey: Nah, Green Bay, that's when they had their young team. Or are you talking about the Aaron Law: So y'all what, Dallas running the number one seed? Corey: Rodgers one or the Jordan Love one? Law: No, the John Love one that came to Dallas and ran it. Corey: Yeah, the Jordan Love, when they was the youngest team in the league and they just came and punched us in the mouth, they was running the ball all Law: No Corey: over us. Aaron Jones was killing us. Law: No, no, no, I'm asking Dallas for the number one seed in the league and the NFC that year. Corey: No, I don't think we was number one. I think Law: Okay. Corey: we might have been two, but I don't I don't think we was number one. That was when Dak got second place for the MVP voting, too. So like I said, man, put put some respect on Dak name, man. He ain't that I said it's it's times where Troy: Hey listen, all that is JB: I think I think the philosophers I think I've been drawing. Law: You Corey: I do get disappointed in him, but you can't win a championship with Dak, man. I'ma stand on that one. You just gotta have too much around him. You gotta have too much Troy: Man, it's been 10 years. It's been 10 years. Corey: around him, and he he messed himself up. With that big ass contract. But I'll say Jerry messed up because I ain't mad at him for getting his money. But Jerry should have signed him early to get some. Troy: It's been 10 years, two playoff wins. That's Law: Bacorey, Troy: it. Law: Bacorey, this is the second one. He didn't read up. He gave him more. Corey: Yeah. That's that that's the problem. Now I wouldn't have re-signed at that point in time. If that was the case, I'd have like, Law: I I would, I would, I Troy: Okay. Corey: all right, cool. Where do you want to go? We can trade you there, get your contract, like how you did Micah. We'll do a sign and trade, this, that, and third before the draft, and then moved on before this last contract. If you weren't gonna do Law: That was a big mistake too. Corey: that, and then you would have kept Micah, you could have kept C D and then you you could have made other stuff happen, but Law: They don't talk about how G. Corey: Waiting that long to do his contract and then doing it the Sunday night before you like the morning right before you had your first game, that was the dumbest stuff in the world. I would have made that play Law: Yeah. But that was. Corey: that last year out and then we would have what came with it, came with it. Law: Jerry made a huge mistake when he traded Michael Parsons. I'm not trading Michael Parsons. I'm sorry. I'm not doing it. Corey: At that point in time, I understood why. And I'm not mad at the moves Jerry made because he was trying to do something. He was trying to be smart about it. But looking back, hindsight being 2020, all them folks ain't measuring up to what Micah did. JB: Yeah, not at all. All right, true, I think I found it. I think Jameis Winston's was up with Jameis Winston was on there. sixteen fourteen for twenty six for one fifty two, one touchdown, two picks. Troy: Yeah. JB: And the other one I believe was Corey: Right on that. JB: was Jalen Jalen Jalen Daniels for Tampa Bay. He struggled too. shit, I would I would throw Corey: That pissed me off 'cause he looked like Steve Young when he was playing us. JB: Right. I would throw damn Jen Daniels for Washington on there for the last two weeks. do he do he not know the rules in the NFL? He throwing the ball out on fourth down, at least try to make throw Law: man, that's ridiculous, bro. JB: him on there for for one of mine, I it's Joe Chuckman's job, I throw him on there Troy: Yeah, Law: That's ridiculous, Troy: but listen. Law: bro. On foot down, Corey: This is Law: bro, you throw the ball out of bounds. Troy: And for his IQ might not be what what they, what y'all people think it is, you know? That might be the thing. Corey: I don't want to put that on his jacket, but these these last two weeks have been you can't explain it. Like, I I don't understand that. Like you can just fall down at Law: And hey, yeah. Corey: the end of the game. You don't just try and dirt it or something, man. At least get rid of the ball so you can kick a field goal to win. And then you come out fourth and three. Try and make a just put Law: But in. Corey: the ball in play to where somebody can at least jump up, try and make a play, P. JB: Is that Corey: I, whatever, anything could have happened. Law: Right. Corey: But you don't you don't even get nobody a chance at it, man. Law: Hey, look, y'all, Corey: It's the thing. Law: we can always go back to Dallas with this one. Say, bruh, he get damn Quinn fired, bruh. Y'all get him back on defense and turn everything back around, bruh. Corey: I will take it at the man. Say, I will take it. At this point, hey, man, because like I said, his defense is at least they know how to turn the ball over. Law: He get Dan Quinn fired, bro. Dan Quinn should have never left Dallas. He know he's not a, and I'm not saying, he should have made him the head coach. Corey: Man. He wanted to be the head coach over there, but they was doing with McCarthy for another year. JB: Well that's that's again we'll be ready next we'll be better. Law: But McCarthy did, McCarthy don't get enough respect either, but McCarthy did his thing, Corey: He did. And like I said, hindsight being twenty twenty, boy, I I'd give anything to have Mike back up in the building. JB: Right. Law: What it was three straight 12 one season? Corey: Three straight twelve win seasons and then when Dak got hurt, and those are only bad seasons he had. Troy: But y'all still ain't go to the playoffs. Y'all still ain't go to Super Bowl. Law: You Troy: Where it all at. When 12 games ain't do shit. So, Michael Parson, Mike or whoever y'all at, ain't Corey: Hey, you was kinda stuck in that purgatory, man. It's kind of yeah. Law: You Troy: do nothing. JB: Well well yeah, we're gonna again we'll be ready next week. It's my fault on that one, but again that's another episode of of Troy's Corey: Mm-hmm. JB: Last one I know this to me another one Corey: Ha ha ha! Law: You JB: He's still not that dude got that man that man fired, man. Troy: I'm gonna fire it, bruh. Law: And I don't know why dad got mad, bro. That was embarrassing. That performance was embarrassing, Man. Corey: It was. It w it was, man. But that game I'm not gonna put on him too much the defense. They couldn't get off the field, man. They could not get off the field. I think Decknam had the ball, what, two, three times the whole second half? Law: look, I want to ask you too, Corey. We talked about this last week, because Jay said he's not that bad. How you feel about Ferguson, The tight end. JB: Come on, Corey, I'm a bag, man. Law: Cause I told you bro, gotta go bro. You gotta sit him next to, sit him next to Schadenhauer. Corey: I I don't give a damn what they do with but don't put on the field. JB: I be trying. I don't know what we did. I guess I don't know what Law: I told you, Corey: he he fooled the hell out of me, man, because his his rookie year and his second year, that's the reason why we Law: You Corey: felt comfortable moving off of Schultz. JB: See, that's what I was I was trying to say, but I guess I've I'm I'm I'm trying to see the good thing about Law: I told you. Corey: sticking. JB: And we'll Corey: He talented, but he just he not's Law: He got that extension. I don't know how Jere gave him that extension, bro. Corey: one of the ones he got his money and now he don't give a damn. That that is what he's looking like to me. As soon JB: Yeah, he's looking like a broke. Corey: as I got my check, I was gone. That's the he is the Uncle Elroy, man. I promise Law: You Corey: you. You got us out here looking crazy. JB: You looking good to me but y'all y'all losing with him so I'm I'm loving it. Law: Yeah. Corey: I know you is. He he getting on my last nerve too, man. Every time I see him out there, I'm like, put the rookie in. JB: I love Cry got some of the pr he got some of the prettiest drops you'll ever see, man. Corey: The ball hit his face mask. And got intercepted. The ball hit your face mask. That mean you JB: Yeah. Well, again, man, th I th I think we're down the thing. Corey: Yeah. with my blood pressure up. JB: Yeah. So we're gonna move on. This is a new segment I added onto the show, man. it's we go we we do on every week. We're going on and do the play of the week. And this week we have My little youngin'. Corey: yes sir. Troy: best cold nephew JB: Lots of you. Corey: That's what I said, way to adjust, man. Troy: said bro you're supposed to be the video you're supposed to be making all that noise Law: man, that was nice, boy. Troy: bro Law: That was nice, man. JB: man, I want them to kiss me, man. Right now you wanna hit Corey: Yeah. The way to adjust to make the catch, man. Troy: You can't, you can't, you're on a video, bro. You can't be making no noise, bro. JB: shit. Now that they're gonna hear I'm I'm gonna play the video the video I when he got that block and got this this game winning touchdown. You wanna talk about who Corey: Yeah. JB: hear me, everybody that's how people in the stands knew where I was. That's that's law. Law: Say Jay, I don't know, I Corey: I need it. Law: got all girls, but I never had this feeling. How does it feel to see your son out there ballin', bruh? What's Corey: We're in the same boat, man. I got all girls. Troy: Listen, listen. Law: the feeling, bruh? To see your son ballin' and making JB: I'm gonna Law: plays like that? JB: I'm gonna tell ya, I'm gonna start with Junior, man. When I first saw the first time I knew Junior had it, Bert, I just wish he would have stick with it more. I I ain't gonna say he didn't stick with it, but when he was a receiver, bro, I was watching the Juniors playing a seven on seven. We was down Coach Ryb, I don't know you know me that you if you watch the show, but j we was down by four touchdowns. When I say Junior came and got six of he killed it, but I was like, This young and got it. Corey: Mm-hmm. JB: and then before we get to j Jonathan then Law: When you was down four touchdowns and he finished the game with six to come back and won the game. Damn. JB: I can I can show those this was back in middle school. He Corey: You've been busy. JB: man, he was killed. And that's Law: Yeah, you would give me a... JB: when I just I wish he would have stuck with a receiver, 'cause man, he was he was Law: Mm. JB: a fucking dog at receiver. Then Jeremy man, I then Jeremy, I knew he had a I I always tell Troy, you know me and him always talk. I said Jeremy was the most talented out of all of but Jonathan is the most skilled. 'Cause that D B but Law: Yeah. JB: it's it's a Corey: Mm. JB: it's a beautiful feeling, bro. man Troy: Yes. JB: 'cause Law: Up there they playing both ways? Up in Texas they playing both ways? No. JB: Now he I'm like this, he he it was his best move to become a I'm gonna get into too much of it, but he he was it it was best he became a D B. Law: Mm. JB: because that D B man he like he said like they say you can never get bored playing cornerback. 'Cause you're always Corey: Yeah. Law: Yeah. JB: on alert. You gotta be ready, gotta be ready. But me and me with him being a cornerback, bro, to see the interceptions, the if I tell you, if you can tell me a cornerback that's in damn Texas that had his senior year, seventy eight tackles. fifty of those was fifty of those was solo tackles. I believe he finished with two or three interceptions. And this would mean you go back to cause we was talking about earlier about the the the NIL stuff, how it affected them 'cause in twenty four that's when that goddamn shit where they stopped taking a lot of they stopped giving out those number those s scholarship. Law: Yeah. Corey: Scholarships, yeah, 'cause a lot of them people was transferring. So it was hurting all the high school kids. JB: Exactly. And Law: Yeah. Yeah. Troy: Yeah. JB: and he in and the team didn't win too often too, because I talked to his head coach and a couple other coaches. They said it was like Mr. Lawson, if he had two more wins, he he would he would have been up there with the other ones, like the the the bigger bigger names. And he was on the same boat with LSU got a cornerback that was out here name went to Alito, don't know if you remember him, but the dude had a hundred and sixty fucking tackles as a linebacker. Law: Damn. JB: And Alito is a team that will beat you seventy They they've been up there. Corey: Yeah, no Leto, it's the only high school out there, so they got a lot of talent in their facilities is what they yeah, they top notch. Law: But the JB: But yeah, man, get back to my that's a beautiful pillar man. Law: way that clip you just played, the way he got in his back pedal and bailed and flipped his hips to get that, that's natural too. Cause you seen how he went from motion to motion, it was just normal when he, know, everything was smooth. JB: Right. And that game now he took it personal because the guy got him the game before. And he was like, Corey: Mm. JB: 'cause Chicharno and I Jonathan's one of the most competitive people you gonna ever meet. He was like, I'm I'm ready. 'Cause the first time, you know, I ain't gonna no excuse but he was he's still getting his foot in the door starting that cornerback, but man, he was like, Dad, I I want this challenge again. But he he put on the show Man, that's like I always tell people, but I don't be standing 'cause of my son, man, highlights be at the game, you'll see it. But man, it's it's a beautiful Troy: Yeah JB: I'm telling you, bro. Man, that's why I I I support my kids, but I never missed a football, basketball game, even a school event. None none of my kids at on life. Troy: Listen, I Law: I'm my charger real quick. Troy: won with that Corey: Mm. Troy: too. know what? My son played baseball. I remember JB: Mm-hmm. Troy: a high school game in a playoff. were playing brother mar. And that boy hit the ball. Man, that boy got a double out. Say, bro, they got a video. And he's showing me. I was like screaming like, boy, like, dude, Corey: Right. Troy: like, and you know, the crazy part is the next day I called Colby. He called the flu. And we lost the playoff game because he couldn't play. Law: Man Troy: That was the wildest part though, bro. Like I'm talking about we was up a game. I think we was going to lose a game up or we tied it. Man, next, the deal was going to play that next day. That boy, I called him, I said, man, I feel like I got the, I got COVID. It was like, cause I ain't feeling good neither. I'm like, my God, need to lost the game and couldn't go to lost the second round of the playoffs. But yeah, bro. Just seeing your boys play, man, that's the shit. Especially when they do, you know what saying, they perform it well, aw man. JB: Right. Exactly. Is is it Corey: Yeah, I got all daughters, man, and don't Troy: You want to play ball? Corey: see I'm trying to put them in volleyball. That's about the closest thing I think that they gonna want to do. Troy: Okay. Okay. Corey: Cause they tried soccer, that yeah, my my daughter was like, It's too hot out here. And in Texas, I I can't, yeah, I can't default you for that, but Sports wise, my youngest one, I think she gonna be the one that got it. She, Troy: Yeah. Corey: yeah, because when she doing like track stuff, that's her badge. She got second place in the event at out here in Venus when they ran. So she she got a little bit of speed to her. So I think track and field probably gonna be where she's shining. JB: Yeah, that's what the same thing with Jeremy. he he again, Jeremy's a man, he got the he's the best receiver out of all my boys. His hands is ridiculous, but he loves triple jump and long jump and he he just loved track and field. That's his and that's his that's his thing. 'Cause we he got three offers already and track and field haven't even started yet. Or lost lost. Corey: Yeah. So that's what I'm looking forward to. So so like Troy: No. Corey: you said, that feeling that you get when you up in the crowd and you see starting to pull away or they they start making your play. You gonna know that's Troy: I'm about to tell you, Brian, another thing, it's like when my son, Corey: mine. Troy: my son with baseball, you know what saying? That boy, like when he getting the batter's bat, you know what I'm saying? That boy look up, make sure I'm in the crowd, you know what saying? He's like, right, good, you know? And like when something happen, he'll look at me and I'll be like, we gotta work. You know, he's like, all I got it. So yeah, most definitely, man. Like that's the best feeling ever. JB: Right. Check out this clip. You talking about me being quiet. Corey: Yes, sir. That's how you supposed to be, man. You saw that that JB: One was different. Corey: clip, I think it was D Wade's pops and who else pops? They was talking about the NBA trying to make it seem like fathers aren't a part of their kids' lives and stuff like that, man. I I'm like Troy: yeah, man, they been trying to do that though. Corey: I'm I'm happy to see us being active fathers, man. That's that's fantastic, man, because them stories don't get told enough. They always try and flip the narrative on us. So that that JB: Exactly. Exactly. That's why Corey: not missing the game, showing up, it means something to them, man. Especially they look up for you in the crowd. Kinda calm nerves and everything, man. JB: Right. And that's what I ha 'cause you I I do some seven seven coaching sometimes and I've seen where it's it's I I hated it where I look in the crowd and you always see the moms bringing the kids to the hold on a second and let him back in. bringing the Corey: Mm-hmm. JB: kids into the to the to practice or at the games. I used to hate not seeing I understand sometimes, you know, dads gotta make the money sometimes and that but still Law: you JB: man, nothing like a a kid or s your your son seeing that dad in that in that crowd like, okay Pops here like Troy said, you look up, okay, dad here. Man, that's that's the first thing my boys just see me. I sit on the thirty f I I sit on a thirty and a thirty five year old line. That's why I sit at every game. I see looking at look up there, get a little head, I'm I'm like, Yeah, dad here to support. They love their moms, but man gotta be there. Troy: yeah. Law: Yeah, you gotta be there, yeah. Definitely. Corey: The red there is different, yeah. Troy: Listen man, listen, I'm out of table. My son, he used to be like, like if the crowd is making noise, he can hear my voice. Like that. He was like, I can't hear nobody else but I hear you. I'm like that, you know what I'm saying? I'm glad you can, you know what I'm saying? I just might say a little. Yeah, but come on. Like he was like, I don't hear nobody else but you. Like yeah, man, JB: Exactly. Corey: A minute. Troy: that's the best feeling in the world. JB: Right. Law: it is. Corey: Got to. JB: you wasn't on it, I don't think you did you see the video I showed? How loud I was and Joe was told I was I'm I'm too I made too much noise. Check it out, Right Faz, Law: You JB: I'm gonna look quick. I lo I get chills every time I watch this. Check it out, Right Faz. Corey: Yes sir. JB: Section Law: And you got to. JB: Wild bruh. That that I mean has so many I fives man on that one. But man, we can go all night Law: Yeah, he the best player on the defense. He the... JB: Now right now. I'm not gonna say now. they got some dolls on that team, but that tea that was that's his high school home highlights there. Now he was the best cornerback Law: Okay. JB: in I he was I'm like I always see he's one of the best cornerbacks in Texas that year and the best that the Law: Yeah. JB: best sag and all I ever had. Emma's don't lie, like I always say. But put Law: Yeah. JB: y'all numbers up up against a team like the Litos and all the other teams that was passing the ball, not running the ball. Yeah, I be I be had to say that sometime man Dads be talking shit and I be All right. I got validation from the coaches, so Y'all know what it is. Corey: Mm-hmm. Law: Good. JB: But yeah, man, again, man, I wanna I can go all night with this this kid stuff, man. That's a that's passion for me. We got again, we do another show, I know Troy's gonna do it me. I y'all got girls, so I like to hear both sides of both stories, but we doing another show called Fatherhood. Like I said the other day, part part one got so much love, so we gotta do a part two. If y'all wanna do it, man, let me know. Corey: So definitely Law: definitely. Corey: let me know about that. JB: I got you. So Law: Definitely. JB: yeah, a couple of things we got coming up before we get out of here. We again me and Corey got the the Kobe legacy, man. That's gonna be a good show. Corey, I got some good highlights and some good notes on the album, bro. It's just but like I I Corey: Yes sir. JB: went back and had to redo it since I got a little better than this, but I it's gonna be a good one. So Corey: yeah, I'm ready for that one, man. JB: all right. So man, y'all check out and also we got these new segment we doing. Show y'all this right fast. I say Corey: Okay. JB: he got his coming up. that's Motown right here. He he wasn't feeling well. I hope you feel better, E. I got mine put some respect on it. And so I got here, he's not the dude. So yeah, man, we we doing some big things with the show. And last Law: Yeah. JB: but a couple of up upcoming things we have. I call this three shows in one. Well, three shows. We got of course the Tuesday night crew. We got the we got the Wednesday night. We talk more we talk a little bit of football. We talk culture, what's going on in the in the world, basketball, football. You you never know. The last couple of weeks, man, we had some good damn topics, that been on the show. Like you been on the on the Law: Yeah. JB: last week, the week before that one we had a great one. So Law: Yeah. JB: Cory, that's one other we try to try to get on that one. So Corey: Okay. Law: And bro, you and the wife show this week was good too. I enjoyed that. Troy: I just told him that. JB: Hey Brad. She she grins. yes, I had to hold back, kinda like I did on the on that last show. We we still we talked about So she Law: You JB: told me this, I was telling Troy earlier, we doing the one that's called family support, family and friend support. She said, I need I need that buzzet in my in my hand, 'cause when I hit the buzz it, you stop. So But Law: Yeah. JB: yeah, that that was a that was a fun show, man. she finally was she like, man, we finally did the show. We gotta keep on doing it. We actually gonna do one Thursday night. Thanks, man. Thanks for the love for the album, man. We the views on that one is doing good, man. That's one of the best shows we have. And Troy said I was up to eighty nine, eighty nine. So I was I think me and Troy's show we did was the the second most most rated that we had. And I'm talking about on the on the other side of the of the of the of the podcast. Let's talk about it. Thanks again, Troy, for that one, man. That was that was a good one. So Troy: We got a few more. We got a few. Corey: No, I'm looking forward to all of it though, Johnny man. You you doing something special here, man. I appreciate you bringing in. Law: Yeah, definitely, definitely want to continue to be a part of it, JB: Man, appreciate it. I appreciate all the love and everybody coming through. Again, man, I want to thank I wanna thank Corey and Law for just stepping in for two six damn it, I forgot I fo I found I found some s I see that I found some in the some highlights from why Keith didn't come in. I guess he got tired of Law: Hehehehehe Corey: Hey, I'm here for you, man. Look. JB: Yeah. Troy: You're killing me! Corey: Hey, JB: That was actual footage of that was actual footage of man. Corey: I understand boy. That's how I feel right now, man. God, dog. Law: Simple. JB: Sorry smooth. I Law: See you, bud. JB: had to get the smooth bruh. That was that was smooth, man. He was he's like man, y'all killing me on the show. I'm a town smooth man. Corey: Nah, yeah, me and Smooth Law: You Corey: gonna have to be on on the next one together, man. We we we yeah. Law: Hey Corey, I'm gonna say this, bro. If y'all let the Giants win that division with no Saquon, no... Bro, Jerry need to fight everybody, Everybody need to go, dawg. Everybody gotta go, dawg. Corey: he already gonna clean house. I see that happening already. I think the shoddy spearman gonna be over. And who I would want him to bring in Law: Y'all let the giants win that division, bruh. Corey: is Mike Tomlin. That's who I would want, but I don't see him doing that. But I think Harbaugh and San JB: My my control. Corey: Diego is who he's more realistically gonna go after. I think him getting a new change of scenery, him going over there, then having them brothers in the same division. Law: Yeah. Yeah. Corey: You know Jerry Love's story more than anything. I can see that being something that happened next year and him finally being like, I'm gonna get a real coach or I hope that's what it will be. Law: Right. But I think Mike Tomlin, next opportunity, he gonna want full control. Because even in Corey: Jerry ain't gonna do that. Law: Pittsburgh, he didn't have control at all in Pittsburgh. So any way he go, he gonna be like, what's your boy that left Baltimore? All Corey: boah, in New York. Law: ball. He gonna want full control of the football Corey: Yeah. Law: roster. That's gonna be Tomlin next. Somebody said... Philadelphia, going up there with Hollywood Roseman and letting them cook. Corey: I think I think they would definitely do that. But yeah. Like JB: That's that's Corey: you said, they would clean house. The head coach will be gone. They could move off Jalen money. Saquon Law: You don't want time, you don't want time with a fella? Corey: could be gone. I don't want to see that happen because Mike Tomlin is a good coach. I don't want to see that happen. Keep keep it every keep everything the way it is. JB: You you didn't notice how short that Philly was about That was about a three minute session on that Philly, man. I love this part with Jerry man. Thirty years. Corey: Thanks. JB: That's the last time. Corey: Well hey, well throw the flag on that one. You gonna hit him with the Eddie K? Troy: Make like this. Law: You JB: I can have I can have fun with Cowboys all day. Well again man, thank y'all for jumping on us. Corey: You you about the pitiest Law: Wait, wait, the, who the players was in the back? Who the players was? Corey: boy. You about the p JB: total double city Corey: you talking about yay? Troy: That's CD, CD deck and. Law: You Corey: Hey the coat open is the letter. Troy: It look like pickings. Yeah, pick you. Corey: Hey you dead wrong, man. I love that movie too, boy. Law: You JB: No, but Corey: boy. Law: But it's cool. Corey: You can get it, man. You can cut it. Law: Not the hug at the end. JB: I got I'd be having stuff like that for days, bro. I can go on and on with I can show this last one, bro. Sorry, I gotta show this. I was trying to I don't know if y'all saw that one. Law: Hehehe. Corey: Hey. Law: Hehehehehe Corey: I would JB: What? Corey: I'm blocking you on TikTok. Law: See you, man. Corey: I'm blocking. Yeah, nah. You had a pocket. Law: Say, Brian, look, you can't blame him, bro. He cutting them checks, bro. He paying them. He ain't... I don't know about a game, Quinn... Corey: Yeah, boy. This why I ain't been on social media, man. This right here is the JB: Exactly. Corey: reason why I thought I was getting away from I ain't checked no messages. I ain't looked at nothing. I was like, I'm gonna wait till Thursday. JB: We had the cynic every once in a while, man. Law: said bro you know what you know what one that might turn into a bad car that Quinn and Williams extension might come back to battle. Corey: I just think, like you said, scheme wise, he's not being put in the best position to be successful. I don't Law: Yeah. Corey: think it's Quinning. I think he's playing out of position. And I don't like this three four type of style that they got us with. Law: Yeah, yeah. Corey: I I wanna go four three or or Law: Yeah. Teams don't even play that three, four no more. Corey: nah, he Law: Because people, the skill players are too athletic and linebackers can't, you can't play with that. You need more DBs on the Corey: Exactly. You need a Law: field, more skill positions. Corey: Exactly. Law: and him playing head up over the nose. JB: My fellas were Law: He need to be in that three technique. Corey: I was just finna say, play at three tick. JB: Like I said, I know we can going on again, I want to thank everybody again for watching the show. Make sure y'all like, subscribe, and share to give it shit, tell a t tell a player a person or three, like I always say, man. again, thank everybody for joining the show. Mr. Controversy, Troy, Corey, Law. And also like I said, man, Law: Appreciate it. JB: make sure y'all get y'all asses out there and vote. Every vote counts. Corey: Yes. Law: Yes, man. JB: And that's the thing. Like I always say, man, the barbershop is closed. But the conversation is always open. So thanks again, man. Corey: Yes, sir. Law: Got it, brother. Appreciate it.
