- 0:00Speaker 1: Scrubbing in with Bell and Tanya rap An iHeartRadio podcast.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Hello everybody, we are scrubbing in grub a dub dub.
- 0:14Speaker 1: In the dub but dubum. No space funds today, No
- 0:19Speaker 1: my hair. I was actually gonna ask you for them,
- 0:20Speaker 1: but my hair's a little wet.
- 0:21Speaker 2: Dance sounds pain painful. Yeah, yeah, so we'd have to
- 0:24Speaker 2: do low space funds, which I don't know if they
- 0:26Speaker 2: would bring the same effects.
- 0:29Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, well you never know.
- 0:31Speaker 2: Yeah, just feels feels like we needed the space mounds today.
- 0:35Speaker 2: You coming back from Mexico invigorated.
- 0:38Speaker 1: No, you don't need the space funds because I am like,
- 0:41Speaker 1: are you going to high Yeah. Because it's a short
- 0:43Speaker 1: work week. I feel like I have to be so productive.
- 0:45Speaker 1: So I've just been like on one, like I've done
- 0:47Speaker 1: like fifty things today already.
- 0:49Speaker 2: Wow.
- 0:49Speaker 1: I know it's weird, like I don't know what's gone
- 0:51Speaker 1: into me, but it's inside.
- 0:53Speaker 2: That's good.
- 0:54Speaker 1: Yeah, good for you, Thank you so much. How's your weekend?
- 0:57Speaker 2: My weekend, alphabah, My weekend and was great. We went
- 1:01Speaker 2: to the opening night of Wicked the movie. Yeah, and
- 1:08Speaker 2: I the night before I was like laughing at my
- 1:12Speaker 2: laughing by myself in bed while it was next to me,
- 1:15Speaker 2: and she was like, what are you laughing at? I
- 1:17Speaker 2: was like, how funny would it be if I went
- 1:19Speaker 2: as Alphaba like to the theater and didn't tell anybody
- 1:21Speaker 2: because we were going with a big group. And I
- 1:24Speaker 2: had all the stuff because we were Alphaba and Glinda
- 1:27Speaker 2: for Halloween last year.
- 1:28Speaker 1: So it was last year. Yeah, that's sick.
- 1:31Speaker 2: So I had everything. It's not like I like sourced
- 1:33Speaker 2: it to go to the theater, but I was Glinda
- 1:37Speaker 2: last year. So I was like, I'm gonna just like
- 1:39Speaker 2: paint myself green and show up as Alphaba. And so
- 1:45Speaker 2: I surprised everyone and it was hilarious. I actually thought
- 1:47Speaker 2: people in the I thought there would be more people
- 1:50Speaker 2: cosplaying and dressed up. So I was thinking, like, oh
- 1:53Speaker 2: I nix with like the other Glinda's or the alphabus.
- 1:58Speaker 2: No one else dressed up.
- 1:59Speaker 3: No one I'm shocked by.
- 2:02Speaker 1: I'm shocked by it too, just me.
- 2:03Speaker 2: But let me tell you something. I was the actual
- 2:07Speaker 2: I was getting sed up and we went to like
- 2:09Speaker 2: a four o'clock showing. So there's a lot of young
- 2:11Speaker 2: kids there, so they were like the parents would be like,
- 2:14Speaker 2: can my kid get a picture with you, grown man
- 2:17Speaker 2: asking for photos with me. So I was like, do
- 2:20Speaker 2: we hit Hollywood Boulevard or do I go to Universal
- 2:23Speaker 2: City Walk like start just sending out my venmo.
- 2:27Speaker 3: Because the green makeup was like professionally done.
- 2:31Speaker 2: I gotta be honest, I really did at.
- 2:35Speaker 1: I was laughing so hard because I didn't see any
- 2:37Speaker 1: of your videos that you'd posted, like on TikTok or
- 2:39Speaker 1: anything that that you had dressed up like that. And
- 2:41Speaker 1: I was on and I don't remember who posted it,
- 2:43Speaker 1: but there was somebody posted a video and it was
- 2:45Speaker 1: like Haley seeing the movie. Taylor Banks was there, Brittany
- 2:48Speaker 1: was there, and I was like, that's weird. Beckonting go
- 2:51Speaker 1: like just I was like, that's so weird whatever, and
- 2:53Speaker 1: then I keep scrolling through and then I realized that
- 2:55Speaker 1: you dressed up like that when I went back to
- 2:57Speaker 1: that photo, and I realized, indeed you are that You're just.
- 3:01Speaker 2: In an album. But yes, yeah, no, it was. It
- 3:04Speaker 2: was really fun. But I guess people at some theater
- 3:09Speaker 2: establishments people were painting their face and they were letting
- 3:13Speaker 2: them in. I guess due to security. But I didn't
- 3:15Speaker 2: know this, so I was like, imagine if I had gone,
- 3:19Speaker 2: and they're like sorry, like you come in.
- 3:21Speaker 4: They didn't know the rule was masks, like you could
- 3:24Speaker 4: wear masks when you're cosplaying in theaters, which I do
- 3:27Speaker 4: understand to a degree because people were masks for crimes,
- 3:30Speaker 4: so I understand concealing your identity.
- 3:32Speaker 3: But it seems weird. Just green paint.
- 3:35Speaker 2: Yeah, I looked like myself.
- 3:36Speaker 3: You did.
- 3:37Speaker 1: In fact, that was really wow.
- 3:39Speaker 2: This is green really brings off my eyes.
- 3:44Speaker 1: But the movie is incredible, so it's like so good.
- 3:49Speaker 2: It's so good.
- 3:51Speaker 4: My daughter called it a cinematic masterpiece, which from a
- 3:53Speaker 4: fifteen year old is really strong.
- 3:55Speaker 3: Praise.
- 3:55Speaker 1: You look like you're gonna cry right now.
- 3:57Speaker 2: I'm not gonna cry. But I can't listen to this
- 4:00Speaker 2: version of define gravity without like full body chills.
- 4:02Speaker 1: I've listened to I haven't one with with Cynthia and Arianna.
- 4:05Speaker 2: I haven't listened to anything else musically since I saw
- 4:09Speaker 2: the movie.
- 4:13Speaker 5: You know, it's it's the it's the fighting for each
- 4:20Speaker 5: other and the friendship and and being unlikely friends, and
- 4:24Speaker 5: then and then.
- 4:25Speaker 2: Alphabet fighting for what she believes in and being changed.
- 4:28Speaker 2: And I feel like I've experienced that in my life
- 4:31Speaker 2: of like I'm not the same person as I was.
- 4:34Speaker 2: You know, like there's just something so powerful about it,
- 4:37Speaker 2: and I'm so curious because you've never seen the play,
- 4:39Speaker 2: if you're gonna.
- 4:40Speaker 1: Honestly terrified because I feel like you're there's so much
- 4:45Speaker 1: hype around it and people are like so freaking out
- 4:49Speaker 1: and it's all my algorithms and then you you're like
- 4:51Speaker 1: in tears right now talking about and everybody's like hyped
- 4:54Speaker 1: it up that I'm scared that I'm gonna see it
- 4:56Speaker 1: and be like.
- 4:57Speaker 2: Well, one of my sisters, my youngest sister, sawt She
- 5:01Speaker 2: said it was she's never seen the play and she
- 5:02Speaker 2: was like, it's a little more singing than I was expecting. Like, well,
- 5:05Speaker 2: it's a musical.
- 5:06Speaker 1: Yeah, I know that as much I didn't much.
- 5:08Speaker 2: Caroline was like, I loved it so and she's never
- 5:12Speaker 2: seen the play. So hard away, it's really hard to say.
- 5:16Speaker 2: Maybe you shoot. Opening week is this week for the
- 5:19Speaker 2: It's next Thursday is opening night at the Pantagious, So
- 5:22Speaker 2: maybe you wait and see it's huge the play.
- 5:25Speaker 1: First, I'm going to that you're going to see the
- 5:26Speaker 1: play for playing going to opening night?
- 5:31Speaker 3: What do you think?
- 5:33Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 5:35Speaker 6: On stage, you're late, really not let me.
- 5:40Speaker 1: Should I go with you?
- 5:42Speaker 2: Well, yeah, tickets. I'll just got the ticket, so yeah, sorry,
- 5:50Speaker 2: it wasn't me.
- 5:51Speaker 1: Do you recommencing the play first and then the movie
- 5:54Speaker 1: because that might change things?
- 5:56Speaker 4: I don't.
- 5:56Speaker 2: I mean, I don't know.
- 5:57Speaker 6: I think going cold the movie, read the book, then.
- 6:04Speaker 2: I think if you know that there's a lot of
- 6:07Speaker 2: music and music and like every other word is like
- 6:10Speaker 2: a song.
- 6:11Speaker 5: Yeah I love that.
- 6:12Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like grease.
- 6:15Speaker 1: Sure, okay, I know, but like same vibes. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 6:21Speaker 1: lots of music, lots of music. Yeah, I like singing.
- 6:23Speaker 1: I liked The Gray's Anatomy.
- 6:25Speaker 3: Uh I did too, Yeah, I.
- 6:31Speaker 1: One with the songs.
- 6:32Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, you'll you'll love it. I think. I hope
- 6:35Speaker 2: if you don't, and if you don't, that's okay.
- 6:37Speaker 1: No, I can't come in here and be like I
- 6:38Speaker 1: didn't like it. I feel so shamed.
- 6:40Speaker 2: No no, no, there will be no shame, disrespect, no disrespect.
- 6:44Speaker 2: Just give me your honesty and I just be curious, like,
- 6:47Speaker 2: what didn't you like about it? You know, because I
- 6:50Speaker 2: sat in one of the most uncomfortable outfits with green
- 6:54Speaker 2: paint on, with the in a seat that didn't recline which.
- 6:57Speaker 1: I didn't uncomfortable outfit. Weren't you just like a small.
- 7:00Speaker 2: Interesting No, it was a dress, a witch dress, like
- 7:05Speaker 2: a tato toll like skirt. Oh my gosh, I was
- 7:10Speaker 2: pulling so hard. Yeah, I was not comfortable. I'd love
- 7:13Speaker 2: to go back and like.
- 7:14Speaker 3: Is the paint after a while?
- 7:16Speaker 2: No, actually I was a little too comfortable in the
- 7:18Speaker 2: page it was on there.
- 7:20Speaker 1: Did you get any breakouts from it?
- 7:23Speaker 2: I don't think so.
- 7:23Speaker 1: Yeah, face looks great. Did you hear from Cynthia Arrivo herself?
- 7:28Speaker 2: No, but she commented on our I did a reel
- 7:31Speaker 2: of Haley and I just like put clips together from
- 7:34Speaker 2: Halloween to the trailer audio, like a month or so ago,
- 7:39Speaker 2: and she commented on that.
- 7:40Speaker 7: Wow, and now it means so much more because she's
- 7:45Speaker 7: everything we have a Haley got an Alpha BA doll
- 7:47Speaker 7: when she went to the premiere, and I'm like, we
- 7:50Speaker 7: are never giving that away.
- 7:52Speaker 2: That might go on a shelf somewhere.
- 7:54Speaker 1: Wow displayed It's like, yeah, remember when I saw the
- 8:00Speaker 1: movie The Green Book? Can you do quick google the
- 8:02Speaker 1: two main characters in Green Books?
- 8:04Speaker 4: Sure, that'sherschel Ali Maherschela Ali.
- 8:08Speaker 1: Yes, he was so amazing I've never seen any of
- 8:11Speaker 1: his stuff before, but I posted on Instagram some like
- 8:15Speaker 1: a snippet from the movie and like just tagged him
- 8:17Speaker 1: in it, and he responded to it, and I literally
- 8:20Speaker 1: felt like I'm trying to find like an equivalent of
- 8:27Speaker 1: somebody that we would be like really like Patrick Dempsey responding
- 8:30Speaker 1: to me. Yeah, yeah, it was a big deal.
- 8:33Speaker 2: Yeah, it's impactful.
- 8:34Speaker 1: It's very impactful. I just did a little tag like cute, innocent,
- 8:38Speaker 1: and then he responds, I'm.
- 8:39Speaker 4: Like e but like Cynthia Riva was like the biggest
- 8:41Speaker 4: start in the planet, universe, everything right in this moment,
- 8:44Speaker 4: In this moment, there's no one bigger.
- 8:47Speaker 1: I would argue maherschel Ali.
- 8:49Speaker 4: Perhaps at the time because that was the best picture
- 8:51Speaker 4: of twenty eighteen, but right now, none bigger.
- 8:54Speaker 1: I love twenty eighteen. Twenty eighteen is my theme right now?
- 8:57Speaker 2: Twenty eighteen teen?
- 9:00Speaker 1: Does that mean that's that was what Haley called her?
- 9:05Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, why is that your theme right now?
- 9:11Speaker 1: On just like really basking in the year twenty eighteen.
- 9:19Speaker 2: Okay, it was a good year.
- 9:20Speaker 1: It was a great year. Yeah, I would say Green
- 9:23Speaker 1: Book winning Oscars.
- 9:25Speaker 2: Yeah, so y'all are seeing Wicked Friday Friday.
- 9:30Speaker 6: Yes, Friday. We were up in the mountains this weekend
- 9:32Speaker 6: and there's a movie theater that has one screen and
- 9:34Speaker 6: they were playing Red One, and so we went did.
- 9:36Speaker 1: You watch it?
- 9:37Speaker 6: I absolutely get that bleep button ray. I love read
- 9:41Speaker 6: Oh my god, it was so good. It was so good,
- 9:43Speaker 6: and we were like also loved to walk out with
- 9:46Speaker 6: all jazz, like we love Red One, and we go
- 9:48Speaker 6: through our Instagram like everyone else's seen Wicked. We were
- 9:50Speaker 6: so jealous because we wanted to see Wicked. We're seeing
- 9:53Speaker 6: it this week though.
- 9:53Speaker 1: But see, that's the thing, like I go into these
- 9:55Speaker 1: movies lately with no expectations are very low, like Read One.
- 9:59Speaker 1: I did not think I was going to enjoy Deadpool Wolverine.
- 10:02Speaker 1: Thought I would hate it, and I end up loving
- 10:04Speaker 1: these movies. So now I'm like, that's why I'm nervous
- 10:06Speaker 1: for the expectation that I have on Wicked. But you know, I.
- 10:09Speaker 6: Haven't seen a single person say anything bad about it.
- 10:12Speaker 6: Like some people have problems with the color of Wicked,
- 10:15Speaker 6: like the saturation.
- 10:16Speaker 3: Wow, that's it.
- 10:17Speaker 4: Getting deep there to complain about. By the way, Red
- 10:21Speaker 4: One is interesting to me because you know, on Rotten Tomatoes.
- 10:24Speaker 4: They have the ratings from the critics and the ratings
- 10:26Speaker 4: from people who have regular people have gone to see
- 10:28Speaker 4: the movie critics, it's thirty one percent positive reviews, which
- 10:31Speaker 4: is terrible. Among people who go see it ninety positive.
- 10:34Speaker 1: It's a blast.
- 10:35Speaker 6: It's so funny that it's got great action. There's like
- 10:40Speaker 6: practical effects. There's a Crampis costume that's insane that I love.
- 10:43Speaker 6: Crampus showed up and elson I got and cheered. It
- 10:45Speaker 6: was like it was like thorhad landed on the screen.
- 10:48Speaker 1: Was new to me.
- 10:49Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, Yeah, it's a great movie. Yeah, well,
- 10:55Speaker 2: y'all have me hyped to see it. Yeah, I'm in
- 10:57Speaker 2: my just like going to see movie eras.
- 11:00Speaker 1: I'm very much enjoyed the movies myself.
- 11:03Speaker 4: Yes, we'll put Becca. We didn't see any movies were
- 11:05Speaker 4: good for Yeah.
- 11:07Speaker 2: And I love a movie theater experience. I love sitting
- 11:10Speaker 2: down with my popcorn and my candy and being all
- 11:13Speaker 2: like cozy in my outfit and watching this like show
- 11:17Speaker 2: come to lie. And I love not being tempted or
- 11:20Speaker 2: to go on. You can't do it at home, like
- 11:23Speaker 2: I have no control if my phone is anywhere near me,
- 11:26Speaker 2: which is a personal problem.
- 11:28Speaker 1: But I agree. I'm with you. I'm with you. It's
- 11:30Speaker 1: like the it's like you're in a zone.
- 11:33Speaker 2: Well, yeah, it's just the general.
- 11:36Speaker 1: Yes, you love yourself, as Eminem would say, yes, yeah,
- 11:42Speaker 1: as the great as the greatest.
- 11:46Speaker 6: Do you get the same snacks every time? Do you
- 11:48Speaker 6: have a routine?
- 11:50Speaker 2: You know? So this one I went to a theater
- 11:52Speaker 2: that's not my normal. They had pepsi products, which I
- 11:55Speaker 2: found very problematic, a regal theater.
- 12:00Speaker 1: I love a pepsi product.
- 12:04Speaker 2: Good, well, you should go there. I like coke, so yeah,
- 12:09Speaker 2: the pop the same thing. It's not the same thing.
- 12:13Speaker 2: A pepsi and a Coca cola are not the same thing.
- 12:16Speaker 1: It's the same thing. Though.
- 12:16Speaker 2: I understand if you haven't Hedicota and ever then that
- 12:20Speaker 2: they probably do taste similarly.
- 12:22Speaker 1: There exactly the.
- 12:23Speaker 2: One drink soda very regularly. There's a difference. They're fine,
- 12:28Speaker 2: They're both fine. Pepsi's fine, Yeah, the same, But yeah,
- 12:32Speaker 2: I get my popcorn sometimes if there's a mazzarella stick
- 12:35Speaker 2: or nacho situation, I'll dabble. Okay, that depends on if
- 12:39Speaker 2: I've popped a little, if I've gardened or not. Where
- 12:44Speaker 2: my hunger level is I normally get like a.
- 12:48Speaker 1: I don't know if everybody understands that reference.
- 12:50Speaker 8: I think because I have found many of people I've
- 12:56Speaker 8: used that reference in like the world, and people are like,
- 12:59Speaker 8: that doesn't what you talking about, And so now I need.
- 13:02Speaker 7: To hear how I'm using it because there could definitely
- 13:05Speaker 7: be a delivery that's not no.
- 13:08Speaker 1: Like we'll see someone on the TV that looks high
- 13:10Speaker 1: as a kite and I'm like, oh, he's obviously was
- 13:12Speaker 1: gardening before, and they're like, that's not a thing. So
- 13:15Speaker 1: I'm like, I think we need to tell people on
- 13:17Speaker 1: this podcast, because I don't think everybody listening no knows
- 13:20Speaker 1: about if I gardened earlier means.
- 13:23Speaker 2: Okay, gardening is taking it, taking an edible and being
- 13:27Speaker 2: a little high.
- 13:28Speaker 1: Yeah, yes, thank you.
- 13:29Speaker 2: So when I say gardening, that's what I'm saying.
- 13:32Speaker 1: Because I felt like I was led astray you were
- 13:34Speaker 1: by this podcast.
- 13:35Speaker 2: You're actually you're just cooler than the people you're hanging
- 13:39Speaker 2: with because you're more in the No, that's what the
- 13:40Speaker 2: people and that's what the kids on TikTok are saying.
- 13:42Speaker 1: They're saying gardening.
- 13:44Speaker 2: Yeah, because TikTok, you can't say.
- 13:45Speaker 1: Like smoking an edible or taking an edible.
- 13:48Speaker 2: There's no smoking.
- 13:49Speaker 1: Edibles, smoking the ganja. I'm saying I did a little
- 13:55Speaker 1: gardening smoking a dooby.
- 13:56Speaker 2: Yeah, And I was like, oh, guarden And then.
- 14:03Speaker 1: They were like huh.
- 14:04Speaker 2: And I was like, oh, you need to surround herself
- 14:06Speaker 2: with just people in the know.
- 14:09Speaker 1: I thought she was in the No, what's the candy situation?
- 14:14Speaker 2: Situation is I get a chocolate candy and I get
- 14:17Speaker 2: like a candy candy. So lately it's been nerd clusters,
- 14:21Speaker 2: but I'll go with like, I love a bunch of
- 14:23Speaker 2: crunch that's normally my chocolate choice, and then I I
- 14:27Speaker 2: do nerd clusters are like a sour like water sour
- 14:30Speaker 2: patch watermelon.
- 14:31Speaker 6: I always wanted do double candy, and I never I
- 14:34Speaker 6: feel like I can't. But now I'm gonna be like
- 14:36Speaker 6: Tilly does it double candy.
- 14:38Speaker 1: So the thing that you have to understand about Backatilly
- 14:40Speaker 1: is she doesn't eat all of the candy. She'll have
- 14:42Speaker 1: like two or three from the nerd cluster. She'll have
- 14:45Speaker 1: like two or three.
- 14:46Speaker 2: I have way more than two or three, but I don't.
- 14:48Speaker 2: I don't eat the box.
- 14:50Speaker 6: No, that's good where mama?
- 14:55Speaker 1: Yeah, it just flops them in her mouth.
- 14:56Speaker 2: Tanya talks about how gross they are, and then she's
- 14:59Speaker 2: got her hand digging in my box the last one.
- 15:04Speaker 1: Yeah, you eat the rest of those nerd clusters. Yeah,
- 15:07Speaker 1: oh my gosh.
- 15:08Speaker 2: Because Ali had a birthday gift for me and she
- 15:11Speaker 2: was gonna put nerd clusters in the bag, but she goes,
- 15:14Speaker 2: I ate the nerd clusters from your birthday present. Sorry
- 15:16Speaker 2: about that, like before she ever gave it to me.
- 15:18Speaker 2: And so I put the text on my Instagram and
- 15:21Speaker 2: people were like, I put like, who do you think
- 15:24Speaker 2: this is from? Ali, Tanya or Haley? And everyone's like, well,
- 15:26Speaker 2: we know it's not Tanya. She would never eat those likely.
- 15:29Speaker 1: Thank you are.
- 15:30Speaker 2: So fooled by this act.
- 15:33Speaker 1: There's no acts.
- 15:34Speaker 2: There is an act.
- 15:35Speaker 3: It's an act you.
- 15:37Speaker 1: First of all, I don't buy nerd clusters for my
- 15:39Speaker 1: home because I will eat them off.
- 15:41Speaker 2: I don't say you bought them at home. I just
- 15:42Speaker 2: said you once.
- 15:46Speaker 1: I bought it once myself in an airport coming back
- 15:49Speaker 1: from a Las Vegas wedding.
- 15:50Speaker 2: And you love them.
- 15:52Speaker 1: Yes, I was very drunk. Though.
- 15:53Speaker 2: Hailey is so mad that I introduced her to the
- 15:56Speaker 2: nerd clusters.
- 15:57Speaker 1: I knew about the nerd because I used to like
- 15:58Speaker 1: nerds on a rope. So these are just like a
- 16:00Speaker 1: different yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, these are just a different adiation.
- 16:05Speaker 1: Is it adiation?
- 16:05Speaker 3: I don't think so.
- 16:07Speaker 1: Iteration iteration.
- 16:09Speaker 6: I'm afraid to try them. I have not tried them yet.
- 16:11Speaker 3: I don't think I've had a nerd.
- 16:12Speaker 2: People go crazy for the blue ones. The blueberry pink
- 16:16Speaker 2: is good too. They're good, but the blue, if you're
- 16:18Speaker 2: going to go for it.
- 16:19Speaker 1: Maybe get a blue and a pink.
- 16:22Speaker 3: Maybe.
- 16:22Speaker 6: I'm afraid they're really good.
- 16:25Speaker 2: Mark, did you watch Gray's Anatomy?
- 16:27Speaker 6: Of course?
- 16:30Speaker 4: Can we talk about a little shocking parts though, whether
- 16:32Speaker 4: this is not a spoiler.
- 16:33Speaker 2: Yeah, but when we come back, I love that. Wow. Okay,
- 16:54Speaker 2: we're back, and this will mostly just be a conversation
- 16:57Speaker 2: between Mark and myself.
- 16:59Speaker 4: I just want to say that the most disturbing part
- 17:01Speaker 4: of the whole thing was and it said to be
- 17:03Speaker 4: continued March sixth.
- 17:05Speaker 3: I was like, what the hell, that's forever from now.
- 17:08Speaker 2: I haven't cared about the return date of Grade and
- 17:12Speaker 2: Nasty in a minute, and it shocked me. I was like,
- 17:15Speaker 2: one of the best finales they've had in years, and
- 17:18Speaker 2: they're gonna make us way till March.
- 17:19Speaker 4: I'm like, okay, take the holidays off, we skip December, we're.
- 17:23Speaker 2: Back in January.
- 17:25Speaker 4: I'll take early February fine, because February sweeps. That's when
- 17:28Speaker 4: everybody's gonna be watching TV is in February.
- 17:30Speaker 3: March sixth is an eternity from now.
- 17:33Speaker 2: Let me tell you something though that episode the past well,
- 17:37Speaker 2: I've only watched the past three. I didn't go that
- 17:39Speaker 2: far back. They are so good. I told Tanya, she
- 17:43Speaker 2: just catch up on the last three, said the last three, okay.
- 17:47Speaker 2: Basically when Sophia Bush comes in.
- 17:49Speaker 3: Yeah, she's a nice edition. She's a nice edition to anything.
- 17:52Speaker 3: The iHeart family. Amen, amen scrubbing, we love her. But yes,
- 17:57Speaker 3: I love the farewell to Levi. I love a mon taive. Yeah,
- 18:00Speaker 3: I'm a sucker for a mondog like, oh he.
- 18:02Speaker 2: Looks so young in you.
- 18:04Speaker 1: That makes me so.
- 18:05Speaker 4: Sad, really nice, really enjoyed that. And the drama we
- 18:09Speaker 4: talked about last week with y Suda and her sister.
- 18:12Speaker 3: I'm all in, but I never left.
- 18:15Speaker 2: Yeah, no, you've been consistent. I thought, Y Suda, I
- 18:18Speaker 2: thought that story was going to go dark, like darker
- 18:21Speaker 2: than she pretty dark. It was dark, but it was
- 18:24Speaker 2: just like her spoiler alert, her like basically being like,
- 18:27Speaker 2: I need to go find myself. I can't be here
- 18:28Speaker 2: right where I thought it was going to be a
- 18:30Speaker 2: little more dark than that.
- 18:31Speaker 3: They're thinning the herd a little bit. What you have
- 18:33Speaker 3: to do.
- 18:33Speaker 4: You bring in a big new class of interns. Some
- 18:35Speaker 4: people aren't going to make it, and she appears to
- 18:37Speaker 4: be one of them.
- 18:37Speaker 1: I wonder why people did people not like her.
- 18:39Speaker 2: No, I think she wanted to go explore other like
- 18:42Speaker 2: opportunities and the like. But that's what I read. Still
- 18:49Speaker 2: one of the worst characters.
- 18:50Speaker 3: Of all terrible.
- 18:51Speaker 1: I will not tolerate.
- 18:54Speaker 2: I think he might cheat on Teddy now, so we'll
- 18:56Speaker 2: be back to just absolutely said that up.
- 19:02Speaker 1: Such a baby. I will not hear this about my
- 19:06Speaker 1: Kevin mckitt.
- 19:07Speaker 2: I didn't say Kevin mckittt. I love Kevin.
- 19:09Speaker 1: I will not hear this blasphemy about my Owen Hunt,
- 19:13Speaker 1: not my own.
- 19:13Speaker 2: Hunt, Christina and Meredith old school. He is a bitch.
- 19:18Speaker 1: Baby, he is no, he's not he is.
- 19:24Speaker 2: Yes. He stormed off and got mad because Sophia Bush
- 19:29Speaker 2: touched Teddy's and the elevator opened and he saw her
- 19:33Speaker 2: touching her shoulder and he's like, I'm gonna go take
- 19:35Speaker 2: that break that you're suggested, and then he storms off,
- 19:38Speaker 2: and then he offers to give this woman a ride
- 19:40Speaker 2: who he was flirting with, to her hotel.
- 19:43Speaker 1: Yeah, baby, don't talk about my own Okay, we're good
- 19:53Speaker 1: friends now. Just if anybody's listening and taking notes. Kevin
- 19:56Speaker 1: mckitt and I thick as thieves.
- 19:58Speaker 2: But yeah, I would say it was like really intense.
- 20:01Speaker 2: It had similar feel. I hate to give it the
- 20:03Speaker 2: credit of the shooter episode, but it had similar intensity
- 20:08Speaker 2: as a shooting.
- 20:08Speaker 3: Well yes, because there was a shooter.
- 20:11Speaker 2: Shooter, yeah, but it had that same feel where like
- 20:15Speaker 2: everything every other scene felt very quiet except for what
- 20:18Speaker 2: was going on. It was just old school grades were
- 20:22Speaker 2: anything that could go wrong.
- 20:24Speaker 4: Yeah, they need to never leave the hospital because everything
- 20:26Speaker 4: that every time they do, somebody collapses. They have to
- 20:29Speaker 4: save their life, Like something awful happens every time they
- 20:31Speaker 4: leave that building.
- 20:32Speaker 2: And I said on my Instagram, I said, if I
- 20:34Speaker 2: was in an ambulance and they saiver going to Seattle Grace
- 20:37Speaker 2: or Grace Loan, I'd be like, take me anywhere do
- 20:41Speaker 2: the surgery and ambulance right this year, car, I have
- 20:44Speaker 2: a better chance.
- 20:47Speaker 1: Did you see those? And I feel like because Sarah
- 20:49Speaker 1: Drew remember when she was on the podcast and she
- 20:52Speaker 1: told us about how intense her scene was when she
- 20:54Speaker 1: was delivering the baby, And I don't know why. For
- 20:58Speaker 1: some reason, that really stuck with me. Hasn't left my mind.
- 21:01Speaker 1: And I saw these tiktoks about Ariana Grande and how
- 21:04Speaker 1: she hasn't been the same since she got this role
- 21:06Speaker 1: as Glinda and that she's like kind of like adapting
- 21:09Speaker 1: that behavior and that like I don't know, They're like
- 21:12Speaker 1: showing like these before and after videos of her, and
- 21:15Speaker 1: I'm like, that's so crazy that like playing a certain
- 21:17Speaker 1: role can like infiltrate your psyche that much.
- 21:22Speaker 6: But Butler syndrome.
- 21:24Speaker 1: Yeah, Like how crazy is that that it just takes you,
- 21:28Speaker 1: takes your whole personality and morphs it into like something different.
- 21:32Speaker 2: Well, her dream was to be this role and she
- 21:35Speaker 2: was so in my opinion, she played it so similarly
- 21:38Speaker 2: to Kristin Chenna with and so I felt like she
- 21:42Speaker 2: just put everything she had into being like literally becoming Glinda.
- 21:46Speaker 1: Yeah, but like now she's like still like has that
- 21:48Speaker 1: same has that same to me? I know, I'm very
- 21:51Speaker 1: curious to see if it continues.
- 21:54Speaker 2: Mm hmm hmmm.
- 21:55Speaker 1: And I always I think about that because of what
- 21:57Speaker 1: Sarah Drew told us that Sarah really uh sticking with me?
- 22:02Speaker 1: Yeah good, Yeah, memorable interview in my opinion.
- 22:07Speaker 2: Yeah good, I'm serious.
- 22:10Speaker 1: I had it the other day. I was like, wow,
- 22:12Speaker 1: like that's so crazy. These roles can impact them that
- 22:15Speaker 1: much with like physically it like impacts their bodies.
- 22:17Speaker 2: Well yeah, I mean Sean has probably caused a lot
- 22:20Speaker 2: of bodily trauma to these gray synatomy people having to
- 22:24Speaker 2: act out these traumatic scenes, crazy switching gears. That was
- 22:29Speaker 2: my weekend.
- 22:31Speaker 1: I is it time to take a quick break?
- 22:33Speaker 2: No, no, no, I.
- 22:36Speaker 1: Wanted to tell you that there's two types of people
- 22:39Speaker 1: in this world. Okay, there are people who fill up
- 22:42Speaker 1: their gas tank when the light goes on go. There's
- 22:45Speaker 1: people who don't. Becca is one that doesn't.
- 22:50Speaker 3: Becca has run out of gas on more than one.
- 22:53Speaker 2: Occasion, and so is another very important person in Tanya's life,
- 22:57Speaker 2: her fiance.
- 22:58Speaker 3: Yeah you ran out of gas.
- 23:00Speaker 1: No some this is actually like it's so annoying to
- 23:03Speaker 1: me sometimes when he's right about stuff. But we're driving
- 23:07Speaker 1: back from our workout and there's three miles left in
- 23:10Speaker 1: the tank. He's like, I need to get gas. And
- 23:13Speaker 1: I looked and I see three miles and I'm like,
- 23:15Speaker 1: oh my gosh, Like we're not even close to a
- 23:18Speaker 1: gas station, like at all, not a close at all.
- 23:21Speaker 1: He goes, I think it's about one point eight miles
- 23:23Speaker 1: away from where we are right here.
- 23:25Speaker 2: Look three miles left, correct, So you would have.
- 23:28Speaker 1: Like, But then it switched in the middle of our conversation,
- 23:31Speaker 1: switched to two miles. So I'm like, oh my gosh.
- 23:34Speaker 1: So I look it up on my phone. Sure enough,
- 23:36Speaker 1: it's literally one point eight miles from where we were.
- 23:40Speaker 1: But this thing is going. Went from three to two
- 23:42Speaker 1: real fast, and it went from two to one even faster,
- 23:45Speaker 1: and I was like, we're not making it. Then it
- 23:47Speaker 1: went to zero. It hit zero, and we're still going.
- 23:50Speaker 1: So first of all, those things lie they do.
- 23:53Speaker 6: That's a dangerous line.
- 23:54Speaker 4: They know they can't trust you, So we'll give it
- 23:57Speaker 4: an extra probably ten miles.
- 23:58Speaker 1: So we ended up making it. We did make it
- 24:00Speaker 1: to the gas station. We didn't have to push the.
- 24:02Speaker 2: Car or whatever.
- 24:03Speaker 1: But I was just like, I just spent the last
- 24:04Speaker 1: ten minutes of my life stressed and panicked. Why does
- 24:08Speaker 1: anyone like to live like that?
- 24:11Speaker 2: But we don't. We don't experience that. In the same
- 24:15Speaker 2: situation though.
- 24:16Speaker 1: I was so stressed, I was like, pull over, let
- 24:19Speaker 1: me get out of the car, because.
- 24:20Speaker 2: I don't want to do I'm just uber home.
- 24:23Speaker 3: Well, there's less weight in the car. You've used less fuel.
- 24:25Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly, I'll sacrifice myself so that you can get
- 24:30Speaker 1: to this here gas station.
- 24:31Speaker 4: I don't really have an issue with this because Robbie
- 24:35Speaker 4: knows what his car can do. I've pushed it before
- 24:37Speaker 4: because I know exactly what I'm dealing with.
- 24:39Speaker 1: My life comes on and I am at the gas station.
- 24:42Speaker 1: Baby girl never gets below twenty five miles life.
- 24:44Speaker 6: I mean, it's bad for your car to run that
- 24:46Speaker 6: low on the guest exactly. Easton Sam's boyfriend at one
- 24:51Speaker 6: point in his life was would rent low frequently, and
- 24:55Speaker 6: he famously coasted his car run out of gas, coasted
- 24:58Speaker 6: into the gas station and up to the pump, and
- 25:02Speaker 6: that rules.
- 25:03Speaker 3: It's like some James Bonds.
- 25:05Speaker 1: Yeah, we were at zero and he goes good thing
- 25:07Speaker 1: it's downhill all the way to the gas. It's like, yeah,
- 25:11Speaker 1: he was doing things with the thing. I was like,
- 25:13Speaker 1: oh my god, the stress in my life.
- 25:17Speaker 2: Well, some people just like to live on the edge
- 25:22Speaker 2: or just feel like they can do it, you know.
- 25:24Speaker 2: And I told Robbie, I go, you're gonna people on zero,
- 25:28Speaker 2: like ninety percent of the time, you're gonna make it. No,
- 25:31Speaker 2: I said, most of the time you're gonna make it,
- 25:32Speaker 2: And he goes, yeah, like ninety I said, I'd say
- 25:35Speaker 2: ninety five. I'd say out of all the times I've
- 25:38Speaker 2: gone on zero, I've ran out of guess twice in
- 25:40Speaker 2: my life.
- 25:41Speaker 1: How many times have you gotten on zero?
- 25:43Speaker 2: Every time I need to take gas? It's on zero
- 25:46Speaker 2: every time.
- 25:47Speaker 1: I haven't seen zero on my car since birth. Never
- 25:52Speaker 1: have I seen it. Never have I seen the zero
- 25:54Speaker 1: on my gas gage.
- 25:56Speaker 2: Yeah, well you said it. There's two types of people
- 25:58Speaker 2: in this world.
- 26:00Speaker 1: Yes, indeed there are.
- 26:04Speaker 3: How many times do you run out of gas in
- 26:06Speaker 3: your life?
- 26:06Speaker 1: She said two?
- 26:07Speaker 3: Is that for sure?
- 26:09Speaker 2: Three?
- 26:09Speaker 3: Three times?
- 26:10Speaker 2: One was a rental car, though, so I can't that
- 26:12Speaker 2: one's hard because I was in a car. I had
- 26:14Speaker 2: no idea how long I could go on zero. So
- 26:17Speaker 2: I was just like, maybe this will go as long
- 26:20Speaker 2: as it didn't. The Jeep compass does not have on zero.
- 26:26Speaker 2: You better get to a gas station. You're not gonna
- 26:28Speaker 2: go for very long. Wow, I was in the middle
- 26:30Speaker 2: of Texas Cooston.
- 26:33Speaker 1: Stress.
- 26:34Speaker 2: That was a little bit stressful because that was literally
- 26:36Speaker 2: in the middle of nowhere. Went knocked on people's doors
- 26:38Speaker 2: in the neighborhood.
- 26:41Speaker 3: Story.
- 26:42Speaker 2: Yeah, well it's a It builds character at the very least.
- 26:46Speaker 2: You have to be a little brain. You know. Had
- 26:48Speaker 2: I not run out of gas and had to ask
- 26:49Speaker 2: for help in my life, maybe I wouldn't have had
- 26:51Speaker 2: the courage to go.
- 26:52Speaker 1: Ask for help in life in general.
- 26:54Speaker 2: To go to Wicket as alphabet on a level of
- 26:58Speaker 2: like it can't hurt me, correct, Yeah, gave you a
- 27:01Speaker 2: level of courage Ridge like the cowardly lion.
- 27:04Speaker 1: Is he in this wickeed?
- 27:05Speaker 6: No kind of they're in the trailer the gang.
- 27:09Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 27:09Speaker 6: Yeah, I'm so curious to see what happens with that.
- 27:13Speaker 1: I'm not I need to watch The Wizard of Oz
- 27:14Speaker 1: again too, because I don't even know what that's about.
- 27:17Speaker 1: A lot of homework that's about. No, I just remember
- 27:21Speaker 1: the yellow Yeah, it's pretty classic. Yeah.
- 27:25Speaker 2: Mexico did a lot of eating this weekend.
- 27:28Speaker 1: I did a lot of eating this weekend. I ate
- 27:30Speaker 1: so much food this weekend. It was insane, like more
- 27:35Speaker 1: food than I've eaten in a week. But it was amazing.
- 27:39Speaker 1: Any nerd clusters, No nerd clusters, straight they at the
- 27:44Speaker 1: resort nerd clusters, I haven't seen any on the property.
- 27:47Speaker 1: I haven't seen any.
- 27:48Speaker 2: Those myself and bring them over.
- 27:49Speaker 1: Yeah the No, I haven't seen any, but I'm sure
- 27:53Speaker 1: at the gift shop they might have.
- 27:54Speaker 2: Well explain to people what you were doing in Mexico
- 27:56Speaker 2: because it was for a significant reason.
- 27:58Speaker 1: Yeah, it was really cute because we are getting married
- 28:01Speaker 1: in Mexico, and so we had to go and meet
- 28:03Speaker 1: with like all of our vendors that we're using, because
- 28:05Speaker 1: we've never met them in real life, just like over email.
- 28:09Speaker 1: And so we had his parents come, my parents come,
- 28:13Speaker 1: and then Robbie and myself and then our wedding planner,
- 28:15Speaker 1: and we met with like the rentals, the music, the lighting,
- 28:20Speaker 1: and then we did food tasting. So we did like
- 28:21Speaker 1: a lot. It was like a very forty eight hours,
- 28:24Speaker 1: like a very busy forty eight hours, big step.
- 28:26Speaker 3: It's very real now, I would imagine, Yeah, yes.
- 28:29Speaker 1: And it's so crazy because I wasn't sure where we
- 28:32Speaker 1: were gonna have our ceremony. And then when we found
- 28:34Speaker 1: the spot, I like walked down the aisle or like
- 28:36Speaker 1: what it's going to be the aisle, and I just
- 28:38Speaker 1: started like bawling, like this is I can't and I'm
- 28:41Speaker 1: not having close like I like you know what I mean,
- 28:44Speaker 1: Like there's nothing, no music playing, and I'm just walking
- 28:46Speaker 1: down this thing and I started like bawling.
- 28:49Speaker 2: Yeah, we got to make sure you're not going to
- 28:51Speaker 2: be good waterproof. Yeah it's not going to be good,
- 28:54Speaker 2: Like it could be great.
- 28:56Speaker 1: I'm just saying that my water work situation is going
- 28:59Speaker 1: to be a problem.
- 29:00Speaker 2: When you get nervous, do you cry, like you know,
- 29:04Speaker 2: if you're like nervous sometimes like it almost makes the
- 29:07Speaker 2: emotion that you would normally feel like you were relaxed
- 29:11Speaker 2: and in a very like you know, no one was
- 29:14Speaker 2: staring at you and with address on, and you cried
- 29:17Speaker 2: because you've probably felt like relaxed and safe. But I
- 29:20Speaker 2: wonder if, like when you're you're trying not to think
- 29:21Speaker 2: about tripping, if you'll be as like, right, yeah, allow
- 29:25Speaker 2: yourself to go there.
- 29:26Speaker 1: I did think about that because I was like there's steps,
- 29:30Speaker 1: like it's like it's like a staircase kind of not
- 29:32Speaker 1: like an aisle, like a normal aisle. It's like you
- 29:34Speaker 1: come up from like a staircase. So and I.
- 29:37Speaker 2: Gotta make sure the shoes I'm wearing or because we're
- 29:40Speaker 2: all walking down the stairs, right, you're all.
- 29:42Speaker 1: Walking down the stairs. But it's also grass too, so
- 29:44Speaker 1: but the steels are gonna maybe want to be short
- 29:47Speaker 1: or blocks or flocks. But you're gonna be walking with
- 29:50Speaker 1: your dad, yes, down the aisle. Yeah, so you'll have
- 29:53Speaker 1: him for like support. Yeah, but you know he he might.
- 29:57Speaker 1: She's not not so clumsy himself. Really, he's been known
- 30:03Speaker 1: to trip over a thing or two. So I got
- 30:06Speaker 1: to make sure does that walk many times before we go.
- 30:10Speaker 2: The rehearsal will be a long rehearsal. Yes, yeah, I
- 30:14Speaker 2: get really emotional when I see the groom when he
- 30:17Speaker 2: sees the bride walking down for the first time. That's
- 30:20Speaker 2: always what like really chokes me up.
- 30:23Speaker 1: Oh me too. I'm gonna need someone to video that
- 30:26Speaker 1: because I'm not going to a videographer. A. Yes, yes, yes,
- 30:29Speaker 1: we have not We have not gotten a videographer yet.
- 30:31Speaker 2: Okay, that would definitely be on the list of the
- 30:33Speaker 2: shot list you want.
- 30:34Speaker 1: Yeah, because I'm definitely gonna want to see that.
- 30:37Speaker 2: Well, you'll see it.
- 30:37Speaker 1: You'll be walking towards him, I know, but you know
- 30:40Speaker 1: like that initial like, oh yeah, I guess I will
- 30:42Speaker 1: see it.
- 30:43Speaker 2: You'll be looking right at him.
- 30:45Speaker 1: Ah yes, yes, yes, I imagine it's going to be
- 30:48Speaker 1: like a blur. So I'm definitely yes. Yeah. But uh
- 30:53Speaker 1: so we did all that, and it's so crazy because
- 30:57Speaker 1: you don't even realize how many decisions you have to.
- 30:58Speaker 1: I feel like I made a hundred decisions weekend, Like
- 31:01Speaker 1: even like little things too, like what order do people
- 31:03Speaker 1: walk down the island and like where do you like?
- 31:08Speaker 1: I'm like, oh my gosh, I didn't even know that.
- 31:09Speaker 1: I was just I was just have my wedding planner
- 31:11Speaker 1: to side that. But I guess it's a big decision.
- 31:14Speaker 2: Using what side of you is going to be facing
- 31:17Speaker 2: the audience?
- 31:19Speaker 1: Audience are close friends and family.
- 31:22Speaker 2: Know, like what side of your face? Like you know,
- 31:24Speaker 2: because and don't you have a good side? I do it?
- 31:27Speaker 1: Better be on my good side, a good side.
- 31:31Speaker 4: And then there was like you're good, which is your
- 31:32Speaker 4: I don't know, I'm sorry it should be obvious to me,
- 31:34Speaker 4: but which is your good side?
- 31:37Speaker 3: I see it? Yes?
- 31:38Speaker 1: And then look at this side. Uh huh, which one's better?
- 31:42Speaker 3: Exactly this?
- 31:42Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, you're lying.
- 31:44Speaker 4: Show the camera way Crystal can make this her magic
- 31:47Speaker 4: for Instagram. There's there's one side and there's the other side.
- 31:51Speaker 2: You turn more, wait, you turn more for that way.
- 31:54Speaker 2: So make sure you're like, look at look at my hand.
- 31:57Speaker 1: Okay, I love the smile and like that.
- 32:01Speaker 2: But yeah, yeah, just right there.
- 32:02Speaker 6: Yeah it's right side.
- 32:05Speaker 1: Right, my right side is better. Yeah, yeah, thank you
- 32:07Speaker 1: really wow?
- 32:08Speaker 6: Yeahs to me.
- 32:10Speaker 1: Yes, so lucky you too, blessed.
- 32:15Speaker 3: Wow.
- 32:16Speaker 1: But yeah, it's like even like stuff like that. And
- 32:18Speaker 1: then and then we're doing we want to like have
- 32:21Speaker 1: these lights over the reception, so it's like, oh, do
- 32:24Speaker 1: you want the lights covering just the tables or the
- 32:26Speaker 1: tables and the dance floor or I'm like, I don't know. Yeah,
- 32:30Speaker 1: it's like all these little things that you just don't
- 32:32Speaker 1: even realize until you're in it, and I'm just kind
- 32:34Speaker 1: of making the decisions.
- 32:35Speaker 2: I'm like, I'm telling you, and I know it doesn't
- 32:38Speaker 2: feel like this because you want everything to be perfect,
- 32:40Speaker 2: but not a single person is going to remember where
- 32:43Speaker 2: the lights are or what the silver wear looked like.
- 32:45Speaker 2: And we'll just be like, oh my god, that was beautiful.
- 32:48Speaker 1: My biggest thing right now is the food. So the
- 32:50Speaker 1: food's amazing at this hotel, Like, the food is delicious.
- 32:54Speaker 2: You made some good choices for us.
- 32:56Speaker 1: Yes, the choices are amazing ate every single one of
- 32:59Speaker 1: them licked it to the bone. But here's the thing.
- 33:03Speaker 1: So I've always thought I would have a plate of
- 33:04Speaker 1: dinner at my wedding because I just thought I would
- 33:07Speaker 1: have a plate of dinner. There's they also offer to
- 33:11Speaker 1: do stations, not like a buffet, but like there would
- 33:14Speaker 1: be like a station for the civice. There would be
- 33:16Speaker 1: a station for the for the meat, and the station
- 33:19Speaker 1: for the salad. Da da da da. I. For some reason,
- 33:22Speaker 1: I've always just envisioned my wedding with a plate of dinner.
- 33:25Speaker 1: But I feel like it's gonna mess up the vibe
- 33:27Speaker 1: that I want, which is just like party and if
- 33:30Speaker 1: some people because we're gonna have cocktail hour before the ceremony,
- 33:33Speaker 1: so people might not even be hungry. So if you
- 33:35Speaker 1: have stations, it lets people eat when they want to.
- 33:37Speaker 1: We also have more variety because if people have to
- 33:40Speaker 1: decide what they want, you only get that one thing,
- 33:42Speaker 1: versus if you have the stations, you can pick from
- 33:45Speaker 1: two or three things, you.
- 33:46Speaker 2: Know what I mean. I, before I moved to California
- 33:50Speaker 2: had never had a set, sit down, plated dinner at
- 33:52Speaker 2: a reception. I've always had kind of buffet style, go
- 33:56Speaker 2: up and eat what you want when you want. So
- 33:59Speaker 2: like when my first wedding out here, when we had
- 34:02Speaker 2: to sit down reception, I was like, what is happening?
- 34:05Speaker 2: Are we all having to sit here and eat at
- 34:07Speaker 2: the same time? Like I was so confused, But then
- 34:09Speaker 2: everybody's been too since out here does the plate of dinner.
- 34:13Speaker 1: I know, and I think that's so ingrained in me,
- 34:15Speaker 1: you know what I mean. So it's like it's this
- 34:17Speaker 1: weird thing that I can't. I'm like, I know, the
- 34:19Speaker 1: logical answer is to do the stations, you know, and
- 34:21Speaker 1: like also, we're not doing all of our speeches, We're
- 34:23Speaker 1: gonna do the night before, so but for some reason
- 34:26Speaker 1: I can't. And the desserts, Oh.
- 34:30Speaker 3: You were very excited.
- 34:32Speaker 2: She is a dessert. If y'all don't know this about Tonya,
- 34:34Speaker 2: because we talk we focus a lot on.
- 34:36Speaker 1: Your healthy ye, yes, but you love a dice. I
- 34:39Speaker 1: love dessert like I love dessert. And we tried both
- 34:44Speaker 1: of the desserts, ones like a chocolate one and one's
- 34:46Speaker 1: like adulte de leeche one, and they were I can't
- 34:49Speaker 1: even pick which one was better. It was like just
- 34:54Speaker 1: thinking about it now makes me like makes my mouth water.
- 34:57Speaker 2: I was like, please watch your words.
- 35:00Speaker 1: But so that's kind of the big decision right now.
- 35:02Speaker 1: But anyways, we did it and our parents really enjoyed
- 35:05Speaker 1: the food and it was just like really sweet because
- 35:07Speaker 1: my parents have hung out with Robbie's parents multiple times,
- 35:10Speaker 1: like we've done things givings together and stuff like that,
- 35:12Speaker 1: but we've never spent like a weekend together like a
- 35:15Speaker 1: lot of meals, Like we've had breakfast and we did dinners,
- 35:17Speaker 1: and we spent every day. We went to the beach together,
- 35:20Speaker 1: and then Robbie and I came home Sunday night and
- 35:22Speaker 1: our parents stayed and had dinner together and like, yeah,
- 35:25Speaker 1: so like we've never I've never seen them spend so
- 35:28Speaker 1: much time and like, I don't know, it's just like
- 35:30Speaker 1: really really sweet and it was really really special. I
- 35:32Speaker 1: was like emotional like the whole weekend and it made
- 35:33Speaker 1: me and it almost it did feel really real, like
- 35:35Speaker 1: I was like, oh my gosh, like this is where
- 35:36Speaker 1: we're getting married. Yeah, we're like this is like this
- 35:40Speaker 1: is it? So now it feels like countdown is on.
- 35:43Speaker 2: So well, y'all go before the wedding around it. I
- 35:46Speaker 2: mean I was so smart to do that though. Yeah,
- 35:48Speaker 2: that was it, wow, because no, like really you can
- 35:51Speaker 2: just make the decisions you need to make and by
- 35:53Speaker 2: the timing, like you know everything, you're not going to
- 35:55Speaker 2: be surprised by anything.
- 35:57Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, hopefully what great.
- 36:01Speaker 3: As long as you have chicken, that's all that really matters.
- 36:07Speaker 1: Although we are having chicken as an appetizer, it's like
- 36:10Speaker 1: it's like a crispy chicken taco. Oh yeah, but it's
- 36:13Speaker 1: not like you're not gonna be able to have like chicken
- 36:15Speaker 1: like off of a like chicken. O.
- 36:19Speaker 2: God about.
- 36:22Speaker 1: The carving, yeah, the carving. Also thinking like stations is
- 36:26Speaker 1: better for like a Haley, because I was thinking about
- 36:27Speaker 1: Haley with her onion and garlic.
- 36:29Speaker 2: So thoughtful, but also she she's able to typically they can,
- 36:33Speaker 2: especially at a resort like that.
- 36:36Speaker 1: But I was like, oh, it's probably better for like
- 36:38Speaker 1: her people that have allergies to certain things to do
- 36:40Speaker 1: it kind of in stations because they can hold the
- 36:42Speaker 1: onion or whatever.
- 36:44Speaker 2: I don't know, Hold the onion, Hold the cilantro. Yeah,
- 36:47Speaker 2: me exactly. Well, this is very exciting.
- 36:49Speaker 1: It was so and we got like so drunk the
- 36:52Speaker 1: first night because we were so excited, Like we we
- 36:55Speaker 1: just got there and the hotel did like a lot
- 36:57Speaker 1: of really sweet things for us. They like had a
- 36:59Speaker 1: little band and they like had picture like pictures of
- 37:02Speaker 1: us framed in the room and like a little like
- 37:05Speaker 1: balloon with butterflies on it, and like they just did
- 37:07Speaker 1: like a lot. And so they gave us a margarita
- 37:11Speaker 1: when we got there, so we drank the margarita, and
- 37:13Speaker 1: then they gave us champagne. So we drank the champagne
- 37:15Speaker 1: and then we went to dinner with our parents. And
- 37:16Speaker 1: it was the first night, so we were just like woo.
- 37:20Speaker 1: So the next day we were like hungover doing all
- 37:21Speaker 1: these walk through which was not smart. And it's like
- 37:24Speaker 1: eighty degrees.
- 37:25Speaker 2: Oh yeah it did look warm.
- 37:27Speaker 1: It was warm.
- 37:28Speaker 2: She was still not be cold.
- 37:30Speaker 1: No wedding, No it will not be cold.
- 37:32Speaker 2: This is great.
- 37:33Speaker 1: Yeah, it was really really exciting.
- 37:34Speaker 2: I wanted to talk about the bachelorette because there's this
- 37:37Speaker 2: new thing saying people are ditching rides, are ditching bachelorette
- 37:41Speaker 2: parties for solo trips.
- 37:42Speaker 1: Not Amy, but let's talk about it.
- 37:45Speaker 2: But we'll do it when we come back, all right, Tanya.
- 38:04Speaker 2: So it seems to be that brides are ditching the
- 38:09Speaker 2: traditional bachelorette parties for solo trips because the bachelorette party
- 38:14Speaker 2: has turned into a multi day weekend trip for a
- 38:16Speaker 2: lot of people. It cannot up to a lot of cost,
- 38:20Speaker 2: and people love it. But some people are just choosing
- 38:23Speaker 2: to go away by themselves to really ground themselves before
- 38:27Speaker 2: the bridal festivities begin.
- 38:30Speaker 1: No one needs to be grounded less than me. Solo grounding.
- 38:34Speaker 1: I don't last thing I need is solo grounding. You
- 38:37Speaker 1: could end time period, especially because I'm so stressed about
- 38:40Speaker 1: all this stuff. The last thing I need is to
- 38:43Speaker 1: be left alone in a hotel to my own thoughts.
- 38:45Speaker 2: You could pin the penis on the robbie by myself.
- 38:50Speaker 2: Nothing sounds worse blindfolds yourself.
- 38:54Speaker 1: Is this because you want to get out of going
- 38:55Speaker 1: to my bachelorette Now? I'm actually I'm hearing here.
- 38:58Speaker 2: I'm very excited about your bachelor. I love a bachelorette. Yeah,
- 39:03Speaker 2: they're so fun, I know. So I'm very excited about it.
- 39:06Speaker 2: I would be very sad if you did your solo
- 39:08Speaker 2: bachelorette party.
- 39:10Speaker 1: Well, I ain't doing it.
- 39:12Speaker 2: They're calling it a solourette.
- 39:14Speaker 1: Nothing sounds worse to me, honestly, Like I don't want
- 39:17Speaker 1: that at all. I was actually thinking, because we're doing
- 39:20Speaker 1: things a little different, We're gonna do a cocktail hour
- 39:22Speaker 1: before the ceremony so that people can have like a
- 39:24Speaker 1: little food and a little drink before. And uh, I
- 39:28Speaker 1: was like, well that sucks because I can't be there,
- 39:30Speaker 1: like I'm not going to be a part of it.
- 39:31Speaker 1: And then I was like, well, and none of my
- 39:32Speaker 1: bridesmaids are gonna be therecause they're gonna be with me,
- 39:34Speaker 1: And Roby's like, no, you should let them go, and
- 39:35Speaker 1: like I'm sitting there by myself before the ceremony. No,
- 39:40Speaker 1: thank you.
- 39:41Speaker 2: Well, there might be a moment like right, because it's
- 39:43Speaker 2: gonna be crazy, I will say, like Ali getting ready there.
- 39:47Speaker 2: It was so much happening that I did feel like
- 39:49Speaker 2: if she had had a moment just to like calm, yeah,
- 39:54Speaker 2: like this is happening, have a moment with yourself or.
- 39:56Speaker 1: I've had those moments, okay, but.
- 39:59Speaker 2: We will not you that crowd you and not make
- 40:02Speaker 2: sure you are not alone, but you know moments.
- 40:05Speaker 1: You know, what I thought would be really fun is
- 40:07Speaker 1: one night of the Bachelorette to do Love Island theme.
- 40:11Speaker 2: What does that mean?
- 40:12Speaker 1: I don't know, just like like just get like cups
- 40:15Speaker 1: with our names on them essentially.
- 40:16Speaker 2: Okay, the water bottle names on them. Color is going
- 40:20Speaker 2: to be there.
- 40:22Speaker 3: From Love Island.
- 40:23Speaker 1: Taylor disrespectful.
- 40:28Speaker 3: I don't know these people, tramp her.
- 40:32Speaker 1: No, but you know what you might be excited about
- 40:34Speaker 1: live from uh Love Island is dating Christian Cavalary's ex.
- 40:40Speaker 3: I don't think I'm excited about that, but good for them.
- 40:47Speaker 1: For sure, if they're dating. But that seems to be
- 40:49Speaker 1: on the rumor mill.
- 40:49Speaker 2: They definitely spent some time together because they did the
- 40:53Speaker 2: Vegas screening of G and then they were also both
- 40:58Speaker 2: at the premiere.
- 40:58Speaker 1: Oh and then I saw some TikTok that she posted
- 41:01Speaker 1: with him.
- 41:01Speaker 2: Yeah, there was something about like what she proposed to
- 41:03Speaker 2: him or something.
- 41:04Speaker 1: Oh yeah, there's multiples. There's multiple with them.
- 41:07Speaker 2: Well, well, when she comes on the podcast, we'll ask
- 41:10Speaker 2: her about I'll ask her about it. Yeah, if there's
- 41:12Speaker 2: any truth to that.
- 41:13Speaker 1: I love any tie to a Christian Cavalary.
- 41:16Speaker 2: Yeah, we know. Yeah, well we can have Kristin Cavalary
- 41:20Speaker 2: on the podcast to talk about the rumors between Mark
- 41:22Speaker 2: and Live.
- 41:23Speaker 1: I don't think she'd enjoy that very much.
- 41:24Speaker 2: Okay, right then we will not. I mean, I don't know.
- 41:27Speaker 2: She's pretty much an open book.
- 41:28Speaker 1: She is an open book, that's for sure. But like,
- 41:30Speaker 1: would you want to go down a podcast talk about
- 41:32Speaker 1: like your ex and their new girlfriend.
- 41:36Speaker 2: I don't know, think about it, but I don't always
- 41:39Speaker 2: do things the way Kristen does. Think so she could
- 41:41Speaker 2: be into doing that just because I want it. Doesn't
- 41:44Speaker 2: mean she would look at all this rain.
- 41:45Speaker 3: Okay, see, we shouldn't have TVs on during the show.
- 41:50Speaker 1: By the rain. Oh my gosh, it's going to be
- 41:53Speaker 1: a wet Thanksgiving here in l A for us.
- 41:55Speaker 2: Yeah, it is, so, it seems, Yeah, it seems there
- 41:58Speaker 2: is a We do have a email from an anonymous It.
- 42:01Speaker 4: Kind of fits the theme here. Yeah, Hi, Tanya, Beckham,
- 42:04Speaker 4: Mark and Easton. I love listening to you age every
- 42:06Speaker 4: week and always find myself smiling and laughing along. Your
- 42:09Speaker 4: conversations are a bright spot in my week. That's very nice.
- 42:12Speaker 4: I could really use some advice on a wedding related dilemma.
- 42:15Speaker 4: I recently got engaged, and I'm thinking of asking my
- 42:17Speaker 4: two best friends to be co matrons of honor.
- 42:19Speaker 3: However, I'm a little torn.
- 42:21Speaker 4: Because my sister, who would normally be my first choice,
- 42:24Speaker 4: lives across the country and has already said she's not
- 42:26Speaker 4: going to make it to my wedding.
- 42:28Speaker 3: Oh gosh.
- 42:29Speaker 4: I don't want to hurt my sister's feelings, but I
- 42:31Speaker 4: also know that my two best friends would be the
- 42:33Speaker 4: most helpful leading up to end during the wedding. My
- 42:35Speaker 4: question is, do you think it's okay to ask my
- 42:36Speaker 4: best friends to be co matrons of honor? Or should
- 42:39Speaker 4: I just ask them to be bride'smaids instead? How can
- 42:42Speaker 4: I make my friends feel special when I ask them
- 42:43Speaker 4: to be part of the wedding party. How do I
- 42:45Speaker 4: ensure my sister still feels included even though she won't
- 42:48Speaker 4: be physically present. Any advice you have would be so appreciated.
- 42:51Speaker 4: Thank you for all the joy and laugh do you
- 42:53Speaker 4: bring to my life every week.
- 42:55Speaker 2: Do we think she's really saying she's not going to
- 42:57Speaker 2: the wedding or we think more just the fest of
- 43:00Speaker 2: like the festivities, like like being there for the dress.
- 43:08Speaker 2: I'm hoping it's not wedding.
- 43:10Speaker 4: But even if the wedding, Anonymous seems cool with it,
- 43:13Speaker 4: Like apparently it seems to be no matter what it is,
- 43:15Speaker 4: Anonymous is cool with that.
- 43:17Speaker 2: Anonymous is accepted.
- 43:18Speaker 3: There's no bitterness here that I'm sensing.
- 43:20Speaker 2: Right right, I think it's well, you what do you think?
- 43:28Speaker 1: Uh? Well, I asked my sister and my two best
- 43:32Speaker 1: friends to be co matron's maids of honor because I
- 43:35Speaker 1: felt the same way like I was like, obviously I'm
- 43:37Speaker 1: going to be I'm asked my sister, She's my sister,
- 43:40Speaker 1: but I felt like Becka and Paulina would be doing
- 43:43Speaker 1: the brunt to the work, so I wanted to like
- 43:44Speaker 1: honor them and respect them and give them that title.
- 43:47Speaker 1: In hindsight, I'm thinking, like, I only have two other bridesmaids,
- 43:50Speaker 1: So I was like, I should have just made everybody
- 43:51Speaker 1: you made of honor, you know what I mean, Because
- 43:53Speaker 1: I'm like, recounts of fear are going to be doing
- 43:55Speaker 1: just as much, you know, So in hindsight, I would
- 43:58Speaker 1: have done that a little bit differently. But we're here now.
- 44:03Speaker 1: But I feel like, at the end of the day,
- 44:05Speaker 1: there's so much pressure put on every single all of
- 44:08Speaker 1: these little things, like and I think just telling people
- 44:13Speaker 1: like that you want them to be as involved or
- 44:15Speaker 1: not involved as much as they want. Like I get
- 44:18Speaker 1: what she's saying, because it's like there's this weird like
- 44:20Speaker 1: I like, my sister lives far away. She doesn't live
- 44:22Speaker 1: across the country, but she lives in San Diego. She's
- 44:24Speaker 1: two kids, so it's not so easy for her to
- 44:26Speaker 1: just come up to La. We're doing flower girl dress trials,
- 44:30Speaker 1: and it just happened to land on a day where
- 44:33Speaker 1: like they're going to be somewhere for Thanksgiving, so they
- 44:37Speaker 1: can't be there. And I'm like, I literally like and
- 44:39Speaker 1: I feel like I feel like she's sad that I'm sad,
- 44:42Speaker 1: and I'm like, I'm not sad at all. I'm doing
- 44:44Speaker 1: this to make everything easy for people to give the
- 44:47Speaker 1: girl's flower girl dresses. If she cannot make it, we
- 44:50Speaker 1: will FaceTime, We'll send photos, We'll send it. Like it's
- 44:54Speaker 1: I think everybody just feels this like pressure on every
- 44:57Speaker 1: single side. And I feel I wish that we could
- 44:59Speaker 1: all feel unpressured and just do and enjoin and what
- 45:03Speaker 1: we want to do and not feel I just feel
- 45:05Speaker 1: like there's this level of pressure that just like it
- 45:08Speaker 1: is not nice.
- 45:09Speaker 2: I think it's just wanting to be a part though,
- 45:11Speaker 2: you know, like you're invited to something or to be
- 45:13Speaker 2: a part of something and wanting to be wanting to
- 45:17Speaker 2: be there, but knowing that it's not really physically possible
- 45:20Speaker 2: with the other obligations of life. But I think that
- 45:25Speaker 2: you just honoring your sister and if she I can't
- 45:28Speaker 2: tell if she's married because she's referring to her as
- 45:30Speaker 2: a matron, because typically it's a matron and the maids.
- 45:33Speaker 2: So maybe it's like your sister's your matron of honor
- 45:35Speaker 2: and then your other bridesmaids are are maids of honor.
- 45:38Speaker 1: Yeah, and you don't say nothing wrong with having co's though.
- 45:42Speaker 4: And make a three cos I mean you wish that
- 45:46Speaker 4: she had whatever you.
- 45:47Speaker 3: Want to do. There's no rules here.
- 45:50Speaker 1: The rules are out the window, gone gone, left them
- 45:55Speaker 1: in twenty eighteen.
- 45:56Speaker 2: WHOA, I don't know if they've been gone that long.
- 45:59Speaker 1: But but yeah, I feel like invite her to everything
- 46:03Speaker 1: and just make her feel like obviously there's no pressure.
- 46:06Speaker 1: I want you here, but I'm not gonna be upset
- 46:09Speaker 1: or hold it over your head or you know what
- 46:10Speaker 1: I mean. I feel like that's the thing that like,
- 46:12Speaker 1: I don't know, I don't know how to explain it.
- 46:14Speaker 2: I think you just say, hey, I obviously know that
- 46:16Speaker 2: circumstances and distance don't allow for you to be a
- 46:19Speaker 2: part of everything, but I will invite you. I'm gonna
- 46:21Speaker 2: include you in everything, right. I don't want you to
- 46:23Speaker 2: feel like I'm upset for anything you can't make. I'm
