Seven nonprofits in Beaufort County are set to receive over $162,000 in new grants from Women in Philanthropy, a giving circle focused on lifting families through employment, basic needs, and support programs. Since 2003, this initiative—part of the Community Foundation of the Lowcountry—has awarded more than $1.3 million to empower communities.
