- 0:01Hello, folks, this is Princess, you are listening to the
- 0:04millennial Mustard Seed, pod casts.
- 0:06Thanks for listening. Don't forget to share with your
- 0:09friends. I stopped wearing a very tough
- 0:12spot. I think that what we're doing
- 0:15right now is a great benefit and virtue because it's an
- 0:19end-around between this whole corrupt informational system
- 0:23media system. We claim to believe in a God who
- 0:27spoke the universe into existence and literally raised
- 0:30himself from the dead. And yet, we're not going to
- 0:34believe that anything else exists in the spirit realm, even
- 0:37though his word tells us that they do, Their bodies weren't
- 0:41permitted to go to sleep, like humans do, and there weren't
- 0:45permitted to go to heaven. So they wander the Earth.
- 0:49You know, I've seen as turn black to unknown tongues being
- 0:53spoken. These Giants were love way up
- 0:56with all the upgrades, the young man, what might have been the
- 1:00trees away for one of these 12 Footers to come walking down the
- 1:03back and they would jump on Dragon back.
- 1:15Then people start to get weapons, I start to get armor,
- 1:17they start to build cities. This was reported by their
- 1:19cities. Now, God looks down and there's
- 1:22violence everywhere. The battle this war that we are
- 1:26at, is not against each other. It's against these
- 1:29principalities in these rulers in, these are cons in high
- 1:31places. It's really worthwhile to read
- 1:34the Bible yourself. Here is one of the primary
- 1:37drivers of mind control because we have to take every thought
- 1:42captive and resist fear. You're going to have a testimony
- 1:49that is a Justice case against the kingdom of darkness.
- 2:04Welcome back to the Millennium us to see podcast.
- 2:07I'm your host Rod thanks for being here with me, I am joined
- 2:11by flf he was previously known as Davis.
- 2:14Absolute he is a Christian hip-hop artist and producer from
- 2:18California and we dive into his testimony.
- 2:21And we uncover some of the darkness in music where he
- 2:24talks. A symbolism.
- 2:26All the strange occultic things that's in the music industry
- 2:30today, since I last talked with Ethel up, he's dropped two new
- 2:34EPS, but fear God and Shalom and buff, your God has seven songs
- 2:40on it and my favorite Jam is on that EP, it's called run to you.
- 2:45I'm gonna play that song at the end of this episode year.
- 2:48So make sure you guys stick around for this whole
- 2:51conversation. Also, there's going to be links

- 2:58So you can go click a link and go right to flx YouTube page.
- 3:02Some of these videos of him chilling doing what he loves to
- 3:06do. Talk all things hip-hop and
- 3:08expose the darkness because he is flooding light for having
- 3:13come on. I'm the millennial Mustard Seed.
- 3:14I'm a 90s kid. I love the instrumentals.
- 3:17I love the hip hop all that stuff, but it's really hard to
- 3:20find. Good music, Good lyrics.
- 3:22I should say where we can. Trust the words.
- 3:25Has spoken on the record in our minds because we have to learn
- 3:28to protect our minds and our hearts because the issues of
- 3:30life flow out of our hearts. And what we put into our mind,
- 3:33is really going to make the difference about how we view the
- 3:35world around us. How we treat people and how we
- 3:38see ourselves. Now, most importantly, it's just
- 3:41the right thing to do. So with all that being said, you
- 3:44guys, I am ready to jump into this episode.
- 3:48You guys ready? Let's go.
- 4:04Hey, what's up, what's up? All up here and I'm excited to
- 4:06welcome you to the Millennia Mustard Seed, blood light
- 4:08forever brother. It's an honor to be here with
- 4:11you. Yeah.
- 4:11Thank you so much for having me man.
- 4:13I'm really looking forward to talking with you.
- 4:14And man I honestly I just want to start off by saying run to
- 4:19you. Hey it was bro.
- 4:21Oh my God. That song literally just Choked
- 4:25me up and I sent it to like all my friends.
- 4:28Everybody was banging it over here on the East Coast for like
- 4:31a minute, man. We loved it.
- 4:33Let's talk really quick about just your album so but fear God,
- 4:37you have seven songs on this new album and do you kind of just
- 4:41want to give us a real quick down low on that?
- 4:43And then we'll jump into your testimony and just kind of, I
- 4:45got some questions for you. Yeah.
- 4:47But fear, God was one of the projects that I created, you
- 4:50know, I had kind of been taking somewhat of a Hiatus from music,
- 4:53just focusing on different areas of life.
- 4:55Life and you know, identifying the ways I wanted to surrender
- 4:58this music more fully to God because it it can very easily
- 5:01become something that's all consuming from the standpoint of
- 5:04making music to promoting it and marketing it and it's easy to
- 5:08get caught up in everything else but fear God was kind of born
- 5:11out of that. And and one of the things that I
- 5:13kept reflecting on when I was reading through Ecclesiastes,
- 5:15was the different areas where Solomon who we kind of infers,
- 5:20the writer talks about, you know?
- 5:21But the whole lesson is this fear God and keep his
- 5:24Commandments. But fear God and keep his
- 5:26Commandments and that idea of fearing God like we have so much
- 5:30that we could do in life. We have different things that we
- 5:32could turn to different ways that we can even serve God, but
- 5:35the end all from what I took away while reading Ecclesiastes
- 5:38was, you know, to keep in mind but fear God and keep his
- 5:41Commandments. For this is the whole duty of
- 5:42man and that's always kind of stuck with me and that was kind
- 5:44of the inspiration behind that project in particular.
- 5:47People need to hear that so that's awesome to know that
- 5:51that's how God was working on your heart and that's what
- 5:53inspired the album. So let's jump into your
- 5:56testimony here. Give us like that 10,000 foot
- 5:59view of just what life was like before Christ and a little bit
- 6:03of your testimony. There, I was like to say that I
- 6:06grew up in a Christian household, from a, maybe a
- 6:09cultural standpoint or for maybe a you know, very religious
- 6:12standpoint. In that we went to church every
- 6:14week. We were constantly adhering Our
- 6:17Lives within the home around Godly principle.
- 6:20So like my parents didn't drink. We try not to cuss and no
- 6:23smoking things, you would expect.
- 6:25But Never really had a personal relationship with God in a
- 6:27meaningful way. You know, sometimes you go to
- 6:29church or church event and you might hear something that kind
- 6:31of sticks with you. But you know, I didn't have a
- 6:33relationship with God in that sense.
- 6:35And then I went to a couple of like private boarding academies.
- 6:39Develop my relationship with God a bit more got baptized when I
- 6:41was around 18, but in the pursuit of music and kind of
- 6:44making that an idol in my life, I went to a school in Florida
- 6:49and ended up backsliding pretty heavily into just the world.
- 6:52You know doing a bunch of different things that weren't
- 6:54productive to My spiritual walk. But while out there, I had a
- 6:57Reawakening again with Christ and for most Christians who have
- 7:00kind of been in this walk for a long time.
- 7:01There's a few moments in time where you have like a really
- 7:04significant Greek commitment of your life to Christ.
- 7:07And while I was informed, I had that in.
- 7:09And that's what I really surrendered.
- 7:10My music and my Pursuits largely to the Lord and I won't say it's
- 7:15been a Flawless walk ever since then, everyone's going to
- 7:17struggle and you know, backslide and fall into different things
- 7:20and temptations and trials. But that was a defining moment
- 7:23because it was really the point that I Rendered a lot of what I
- 7:26was doing to Christ holy and I never had encountered this idea
- 7:29of surrendering music to God. It was kind of like I'm going to
- 7:32make music and keep God as a priority in my life but not have
- 7:34it reflect hand-in-hand. So that was a big moment for me
- 7:37and then obviously you know big mile markers getting married,
- 7:40having children all of kind of strength in my walk is time was
- 7:43going on and allowed me to move into a situation where yeah, I
- 7:47can I can surrender and use this gift for God.
- 7:49While also maintaining, you know, the most important
- 7:52ministries of family of local Ministry of church.
- 7:55Each Ministry, different things like that and not not allowing
- 7:57it to be so consuming, but yeah, it's been an incredible journey,
- 8:00man, but but that's like the 10,000 foot view.
- 8:03Now, if I remember hearing correctly, were you born here in
- 8:06the states? Or I want to say, I don't know
- 8:09if I remember where you born in Germany.
- 8:11Yeah. That's right.
- 8:12Yeah. So I was born overseas.
- 8:14Okay. Military family.
- 8:16So okay. Yeah.
- 8:17And did not adjust certain by that stretch, you know, parents
- 8:19are American but we were missing for some military stuff.
- 8:23You know what things really changed for you after coming to
- 8:27Christ? So you kind of talked about
- 8:28having music and then wanting to live holy and then these two
- 8:32merge together, right? So like what was the defining
- 8:35point for you, somewhere in this journey, in this process of God,
- 8:38just removing the veil and calling, you closer to him.
- 8:41That you realized like I am all in.
- 8:44I'm going to flood life forever for the kingdom of God.
- 8:47When was that defining Point? Yes, I think, I think it's like,
- 8:52you know, to your point. It's kind of You see a lot of
- 8:54Christians and you know, I was I've been there and often times,
- 8:58I will slide into this kind of mindset where you're culturally
- 9:00Christian. You know maybe you're doing
- 9:02things, are you have Christian friends, you go to church.
- 9:05You have like this community built around the church, but as
- 9:08far as your personal relationship or your personal
- 9:10life, think every single aspect of your life hasn't been
- 9:12surrendered and I felt like a very much a cultural question.
- 9:15So, you know, like I kind of, I kind of would sanitize my sin in
- 9:20a way where I was making music when maybe I wouldn't curse as
- 9:22much. Or if, you know, maybe I
- 9:25wouldn't do drugs or, you know, it's abstain from certain things
- 9:28in my life because I knew that they had a detrimental effect
- 9:30overall, but I didn't really surrender those things to God.
- 9:33So when I was in Florida, I think is probably there's been a
- 9:37couple times in my life obviously that I could look back
- 9:39in hindsight and really attribute.
- 9:40The Holy Spirit moving on my heart.
- 9:42But in Florida there was one particular time.
- 9:44I was really pursuing music full-time in many ways.
- 9:47I had a lot of scenarios that had kind of come up and fell
- 9:51through like opportunities that didn't pan out.
- 9:53Well, I was expecting or that my pride was really injured, and I
- 9:56felt very diminishing that sense and a couple things happen and
- 9:59really made me just, you know, essentially, surrender Reliance
- 10:03completely to God and I can't really describe.
- 10:05You can't really ever. I don't know how to articulate
- 10:08it but it was almost like I was asleep.
- 10:10You know. And I was awake and there was
- 10:12this. Yes.
- 10:13Yeah. Late night where I was just
- 10:14looking at. Like I was in my room and I was
- 10:16looking at all the stuff around me and all the stuff that I had
- 10:18kind of built up as an idol. So, like these posters these
- 10:21CDs, these different things that I I knew they were idols and I
- 10:24was like, Lord. I don't, the reason that I've
- 10:26been failing or the reason that I'm in and I haven't surrendered
- 10:28this part of my life to you. And once I realized that, I
- 10:31literally just as many testimonies people have heard, I
- 10:34literally just like was invigorated.
- 10:37Wept got all that stuff and I was in my room, threw it into
- 10:41the trash. Can, the dumpster went online
- 10:43and deleted all my social accounts that had anything to do
- 10:46with that old. You know, that old life and that
- 10:49old sort of music and I just surrendered myself fully to
- 10:52Christ and Have this Idol that are always kind of nurturing
- 10:56and, that was kind of the most significant moment in coming to
- 10:58Christ because it was really a full and complete surrender
- 11:01wasn't. Okay.
- 11:02Lord, I'm going to give you 80% of me, but I'm going to keep
- 11:05this 20% for myself. It was literally a full
- 11:07surrender. So when that happened, that was
- 11:09a huge turning point because it flipped my perspective on the
- 11:12world, that flip my perspective on Christ, you know, it was less
- 11:15about, like, I don't know if it's just, you know, maybe if
- 11:20you're culturally Christian, you don't have the sense of urgency,
- 11:23See, I guess maybe, but I'm looking around.
- 11:25I'm looking all these people. I'm going to point.
- 11:27These people are not saved, you know and judgment is coming,
- 11:29right? They don't know the way out,
- 11:31they don't know. This relationship that I've
- 11:33known and then it just gave everything so much perspective
- 11:36for me and was a huge moment from that standpoint.
- 11:38And well, while I'm back slid, a little bit in different areas
- 11:42throughout my entire walk, you know, and gotten into things
- 11:45that maybe I shouldn't have or make decisions that were not,
- 11:49you know, not Guided by the Holy Spirit, I can definitely point
- 11:52to that being a Moment where that perspective on me, has
- 11:55never been lost. I've never lost that
- 11:56perspective. Of this is an eternity and
- 11:58Eternity that we're looking at right now.
- 12:00And what decisions are we going to make to inform that?
- 12:02That's so powerful. I've talked a little bit about
- 12:05my personal story, like coming to Christ almost 10 years ago.
- 12:09I reckon it to like this long kind of drawn out process where,
- 12:13like I was being critiqued and kind of learning like God was
- 12:16fathering me because I didn't have like a good influence.
- 12:19Yeah, and so I can resonate just like a defining moment.
- 12:23And I love capturing that because I know there's people
- 12:26out there that are somewhere in a process similar, like there's
- 12:30an audience that only you can reach.
- 12:32And so when we share our testimonies the power that's in
- 12:35that, the ripple effect is, praise God.
- 12:39Amen. And I'll watch a channel on
- 12:42YouTube and I highly recommend all the listeners.
- 12:44You could, you check him out on YouTube.
- 12:47I'll include links in the show notes so that you guys can
- 12:50directly go and see how you've been exposed.
- 12:53Using this Darkness, that's in the music industry, the
- 12:56symbolism. But I want to ask in the sense.
- 12:59How do you kind of maintain with, like diving into the
- 13:02secular music and still keeping the biblical filter and keeping
- 13:06that that Holy standpoint? I think there has to be a
- 13:09surrender of your life in every way for that to kind of really
- 13:14hit home and again, not to critique anyone or say that
- 13:17certain people have it. But I know for me, like, When
- 13:21when I first had that when I had that experience in Orlando and
- 13:26you know, God kind of just snatch me out of my boots.
- 13:28I was like, wow, like listening to the music that I used to
- 13:31listen to didn't have the same appeal.
- 13:34You know, it grew very dim from that standpoint and I was like,
- 13:37man, I really want to listen to music center.
- 13:39Glorify God and the more I was like kind of looking at
- 13:42different music and different things, you know?
- 13:44Even maybe a tie back into Ecclesiastes a little bit.
- 13:47It was all just vanity. I was like this is for no.
- 13:50Reason, you know, even love songs like the most beautiful
- 13:52love song of my just vanity like what are they even talking
- 13:54about? They talking about exactly, it
- 13:56kind of just grew dim. And for me one of the things
- 13:59that I think strict strikes home as well as that even though I
- 14:03had this really hard rope shaking awake and I was totally,
- 14:07you know, unappealed by the stuff over time, I stood start
- 14:09listening to secular music or listen to certain artists or be
- 14:12curious about what their music was going to sound like.
- 14:15And I think it's very, very important to note like there's a
- 14:18lot of talent that exists out there and when you're at,
- 14:20Artist. There's a desire to appreciate
- 14:23or hold to high esteem, this other talent that might exist.
- 14:26But ultimately, the message in the end goal is what it's going
- 14:29to be part of the story of me, kind of coming to Christ in
- 14:32those first, little drops way before I actually surrender my
- 14:36life. I remember going to Orlando to
- 14:38the school Full Sail and full transparency like smoking a lot
- 14:42of weed. And I remember having these
- 14:43conversations with the people that were there was like, hey
- 14:46have you heard about XYZ conspiracy and we would dive
- 14:49into these music? It's piracies and they would
- 14:51reveal these things. And I remember thinking like
- 14:53this is kind of crazy like you start seeing signs and symbols
- 14:56going way back or even someone like DMX, which is it's not a
- 14:59conspiracy, right? But he has these songs called
- 15:01Damian, where he talks about this conversation, he has With
- 15:05the Enemy, or what the devil, it seems like, and you're like,
- 15:08wow, this stuff is in our faces and it's just been out there for
- 15:10a long time. So, having that Awakening
- 15:13moment, I'm looking at everything with that lens in
- 15:16mind, as well to say. Okay, if that was happening on
- 15:19the surface level, The transparent way, what else are
- 15:21we going to actually see as a result of that and whenever I
- 15:24see stuff in news media or entertainment media, I'm really
- 15:28looking at it like Sodom and Gomorrah I'm really looking at
- 15:30it. Like are they walking with the
- 15:32Lord because if they're not, they're going to be susceptible
- 15:34to anything we're in this war, this spiritual war and there's
- 15:38propaganda coming from the enemy side to sway the truth to
- 15:42provide people with an alternative that seems more
- 15:44palatable. Truth be told, even though I'm
- 15:48kind of plugged in with what's happening, That Media or what's
- 15:51going on with different artists at a surface level, it doesn't
- 15:54take much to even identify, what's going on to give you
- 15:57context. You know, when this interview is
- 15:59going to release, there's a brand new song that just came
- 16:01out by Halsey and another singer.
- 16:04They've collaborated, I haven't even heard the song.
- 16:06I haven't listened to one word of the song, but I read the
- 16:09lyrics and I watched the music video and it's called Lilith now
- 16:13just based on the mainland. Yeah, so you might be familiar
- 16:17like the idea of Lilith and That even entails, right?
- 16:21And then it's like, okay, this song just came out what this
- 16:23song came out because it's the theme song for this video game
- 16:26called Diablo. So it's kind of like, oh, yes,
- 16:30there isn't much to sermon that you need to rolling out this new
- 16:33video game called Diablo, which has been around for a long time.
- 16:36The primary antagonist for this video game looks to be a female
- 16:40character. They're making a song called
- 16:41Lilith, you read through the lyrics, very clear, what they're
- 16:45indicating. And the music video shows her
- 16:47walking into a church and then turning into the Tagging to
- 16:50support this video game so it's like, oh well that's that's the
- 16:53message right? It's not even available you have
- 16:56slams tool, making the song. Holy little, nozick's making a
- 17:01song called Montero which is packed full of the stuff.
- 17:04So it's very easy when you study the truth to know what the truth
- 17:08is not. And I think whenever I see the
- 17:10stuff in the media, I'm like okay.
- 17:11My relationship with Christ kind of informs everything in my life
- 17:14and I want to surrender my discernment to the Holy Spirit
- 17:17and the Holy Spirit, makes it really easy.
- 17:19Nine times out. 10 and the one times out of 10 that it's not
- 17:22easy. It's probably because of my own
- 17:24into adequacy that I'm relying on you.
- 17:27Yeah. And things that are spiritual
- 17:29need spiritual discernment like we need the Holy Spirit to see
- 17:32it. I was talking with a listener
- 17:34who reached out to me and her son is going to Florida after
- 17:39the summer here, to go to college.
- 17:40And he's going to listen to the podcast and diving into what
- 17:43some people are saying conspiracies.
- 17:45But at the end of the day, most people are like, hey, can you
- 17:48come up with a new conspiracy because You've been talking
- 17:50about 45 years is true. All right.
- 17:52We see those memes floating around and she was talking about
- 17:55how her son wants to dive into a Ministry where he talks with
- 17:59people face-to-face about these, real issues, in the music, and
- 18:03in the culture. And he's 18, he's only 19 years
- 18:07old and that blew me away. I was just praising God when I
- 18:09read that message because like what you're saying is is so
- 18:14important because there is different parts of the Our
- 18:17Generations and people in our influential.
- 18:20That just may not be focused or tuned in to what you are seeing
- 18:25and exposing the darkness. And that's why it's so important
- 18:28as the body, we just were aware of who's who where we're at.
- 18:32And kind of like the word says, bearing each other's burdens is
- 18:35to fulfill the law. Not that it's a burden to hear
- 18:39this kind of stuff, but in the sense of yes, is a battle.
- 18:42And you know, on this show, we've dyed into like Sr a
- 18:46Satanic ritual abuse survivors, you know, we've dived into
- 18:49Genesis for everything is through a Biblical filter and we
- 18:54are all learning and growing if we're in Christ.
- 18:56So, I love the fact that you're bringing up these different
- 18:59aspects of the music. There was a an interview that
- 19:02Tyrese Gibson recently, did who, I mean, very big, I did hear
- 19:05something about that, well-known celebrity in Hollywood, maybe a
- 19:09cultural Christian in some ways, but even Tyrese Gibson was just
- 19:13in this movie Fast and the Furious.
- 19:15It's a violent movie, you know, action-packed.
- 19:17He's going on this radio station with big boy.
- 19:20In LA and he's on the station, he's talking about the movie and
- 19:24then he slips and he's like, you know, I want to talk about this
- 19:26movie and promote this movie but people are treating God, like
- 19:29he's a little buddy that you reach out to when you get scared
- 19:32and were glorifying the devil. Now, this is Tyrese Gibson,
- 19:35right? Which blew me away when they
- 19:37close out the actual show, he has, I'm not entirely sure of
- 19:40the relationship but an elder in her in his church or something.
- 19:42This woman he hasn't he brings her over and has her prey on on
- 19:46air and I mean that just blew me away because you have someone.
- 19:50Who I would say is contributing to the system in one way or
- 19:53another. And I'm not I'm not trying to
- 19:54say Tyrese is a bad guy or anything but he's not even he's
- 19:58participating in the machine made Christmas.
- 20:00Do I think that's important thing but he's in there and even
- 20:04he is seeing it right? And I've never thought of Tyrese
- 20:06Gibson is being a stand-up Christian guy, never crossed my
- 20:09mind. I just, you know, it's a
- 20:10celebrity, maybe he grew up in the church but he's even coming
- 20:13on this radio show to promote. One of the biggest movies of the
- 20:16year and say, man, people are making the devil popular.
- 20:19We need to focus on Jesus. Sounds like yeah, if Tony's
- 20:21Gibson has discernment but people within the church don't
- 20:24have the sermon. Something is going wrong, right?
- 20:26Like something is yes, there's a disconnect very well said and
- 20:31that is that's critical. How many people have we seen?
- 20:35Like, even with Kanye and there were some questions with like
- 20:38Eminem, just different people because my generation who grew
- 20:41up listening to like, 50 Cent and Eminem, you know, that was
- 20:43popular, you know, there was groups of friends over listening
- 20:46to like Sublime in some of the other like, you know, guitar
- 20:48rock out music. But But yeah, even some of these
- 20:51people are starting to make this public stance.
- 20:53So it really makes makes a guy like me.
- 20:56Sit, back and go. Well, if they're involved in
- 20:59these occultic background groups, which I believe
- 21:02wholeheartedly, they are, or were, and if they see
- 21:07something's gone wrong, if they're seeing the shift in
- 21:09power or they're seeing, you know, the darkness for really
- 21:13what it is. And they're willing to make a
- 21:14stance and put the Target on their back, knowing they
- 21:17willingly serve the enemy before.
- 21:19How much Or should the church be standing up and just saying
- 21:23we're not going to tolerate our children being targeted by these
- 21:27these demonic entities that have infiltrated so many system.
- 21:30I don't mean to ramble too much but I get excited about these
- 21:33kind of conversations. You know, music is one thing
- 21:36that I've like, covered quite a bit because it's something that
- 21:39I'm pretty familiar with and I can, you know, pick up on themes
- 21:43or topics pretty quickly, but it's not just music, right?
- 21:47It's film, it's education's. It's, you know, philosophy, it's
- 21:52eating, you know, in Christian theology.
- 21:54You know, literally if you just look at the landscape of what's
- 21:58Happening, we know that every area and like I kneel again,
- 22:02people call this like, maybe conspiracy, but every area or
- 22:05every facet of our world's going to be attacked in some way,
- 22:08right to manipulate us to get us to follow us Doctrine or false
- 22:13prophets or false Christ. We see it all the time and
- 22:16that's why I think I'm more may be on guard or vigilant.
- 22:20And things because at the end of the day, man, like once you kind
- 22:23of get a peek behind the veil and I have like stories like
- 22:26personal stories that I can't really share but stories about
- 22:29like other very prominent figures in the music industry
- 22:32who have been knowingly or unknowingly manipulated or been
- 22:39involved in these things. And I have like these
- 22:40first-person accounts, which I do trust, right?
- 22:43But it just kind of again. If I'm hearing that from someone
- 22:47on the music side, I can only imagine in these other.
- 22:50A huge sectors of government and and corporate, you know, life,
- 22:53where if you have a company wielding, a billion-dollar
- 22:56multi-billion Dollar Arm in media and education and whatever
- 23:00it might be. You can expect that the devil's
- 23:02going to try to use it for his sake, right?
- 23:04And the same way, absolutely not a doubt is trying to use us so
- 23:08and that's one of the things like just I've covered some of
- 23:11that with just people that I know have a heart to expose it
- 23:16on this show and it's humbling man.
- 23:18Because when the word says that the devil's time is short, he's
- 23:22like a roaring lion seeking whom to devour that he was a liar, a
- 23:26thief, a murderer, since the beginning.
- 23:29His tactics are the same in our generation, we just see, he
- 23:32changes the mask a little bit, right changes.
- 23:34Some of the details or the Persona of whoever, and whatever
- 23:39organizations, that this enemy, this eternal enemy against our
- 23:43souls is working in and I love seeing a generation of people
- 23:47waking up to that reality. And what you're doing is so
- 23:51important through the music creating music, that that's
- 23:54praising God because yeah, the eyes are a doorway, right?
- 23:59So we can watch secular movies and I believe that that can come
- 24:04with strongholds in bondage just by what our eyes.
- 24:06See, but our ears, we gotta remember the Devil.
- 24:09He's described in the word as he was leading worship at one point
- 24:12in time. He was covered in all these gems
- 24:14and stones and had windpipes like beautiful music equipment,
- 24:18right? And so So, how many people out
- 24:21there right now? Are starting to feel this gut
- 24:23feelings like yeah, something's wrong.
- 24:25I think it was the David Scott concert or something like that
- 24:28or what was that guy's name you had covered it up Scott.
- 24:31Yeah. Travis Scott people even secular
- 24:34people like yeah something really creepy is going on there.
- 24:36So what was that? And the church we should be on
- 24:39The Cutting Edge. We should be like literally on
- 24:41The Cutting Edge, having the word of God ready and we're
- 24:45ready in season out of season. So I've been wanting to ask you
- 24:48this for a while f. F flood light Forever.
- 24:51This is the name that you're using now to represent your
- 24:53music and in the ministry God's given you.
- 24:56Can you tell us about how that name came about, for a long
- 25:00time, I was doing music under an alias called Davis.
- 25:02Absolute and I felt God calling me in many ways and not not by
- 25:08any means of him, but more. So of myself that I had kind of
- 25:11turned it into this thing in my life that I needed to kind of
- 25:14purge and get rid of. So, I decided.
- 25:16Okay, I'm going to restart with a very purpose-driven.
- 25:19Open concept of mind and FL left really stands for flood light
- 25:23forever and there's kind of two components to that.
- 25:25So one is like, we were made in the image of God.
- 25:29We are rather justified by Christ and through
- 25:32sanctification will be glorified and will we will flood light
- 25:36forever. We will flood the Light of
- 25:37Christ for all eternity and be able to speak about his
- 25:40worthiness and and praise and worship him for all eternity.
- 25:43So I like the idea of that that we're designed to flood light.
- 25:47The Light of Christ for eternity.
- 25:49The other component was also the way I break it out.
- 25:52And history is the three kind of components of History.
- 25:56So before there was the flood, now we have the light and we're
- 26:00looking forward to forever. So that was kind of the concept
- 26:03behind that as well. And I wanted something that
- 26:05could kind of open up a dialogue and, you know, dig a little bit
- 26:08deeper and and make it less about me, you know as a person
- 26:11or personification or an artist in more so as a message.
- 26:15So whenever anyone asked so what is f?
- 26:16F stand for, I can give them a good answer before when I I was
- 26:20making music is David's absolute.
- 26:21I really have a good answer to why I chose that name.
- 26:23I was just like I'm following absolute truth and if I was
- 26:27being genuine is because I just it just sounded appealing it
- 26:30sounded easy to remember a sound a distinct, no one else had it
- 26:33and this this I think had carries a lot more weight with
- 26:36the message and the mission that we're trying to accomplish.
- 26:39You're an ambassador for the Eternal King, brother.
- 26:41That's awesome. I love that, but I know right
- 26:45now you are releasing a steady stream of content through your
- 26:49YouTube channel, Instagram, and Tick-Tock, but you release two
- 26:53new EPS. Let's talk a little bit about
- 26:56Shalom and--. Let's dive into just some of
- 27:00what was going on in your life during, you know, producing the
- 27:04but fear, God, and I got itoh, I need to know what spawned the To
- 27:09use song. That's like my favorite.
- 27:11So I need to know the inside scoop on that.
- 27:14Yeah, well, it was funny, man, is like so, but fear God, I even
- 27:18forget my released, I think early 2022, but but fear God was
- 27:23really, you know, kind of a coming off this Hiatus.
- 27:26And I really just wanted to create music and I just felt
- 27:29like the songs that I have and the production that I had
- 27:31sitting there, I was like, okay, this is, this is stuff that I
- 27:33really want to hit on. What's funny, is run to you,
- 27:36even though it is the last track on the actual project.
- 27:39T'. It was one of the first tracks
- 27:41that I've recorded for that project so I actually yes yes, I
- 27:44had the project and I think a lot of the theme and a lot of
- 27:47the songs was really was really kind of the start of this
- 27:50process that I had put in place with myself to when I'm working
- 27:54out of music, I was going in and I was going and I was like,
- 27:57okay, I want to have a Bible verse, that's the Cornerstone or
- 28:00the foundation of every single one of these songs.
- 28:03So I want to have a scripture that I could go to and look at
- 28:07and every single one of these, these songs And for run to you A
- 28:10lot of that was based out of Isaiah.
- 28:11So you know the idea of like if I humble myself and seek your
- 28:15face but essentially saying that God hears those who humble
- 28:19themselves and seek his face and those who don't, he doesn't hear
- 28:22their prayers and I was like, okay lord well what does that
- 28:24mean? What does that mean for me?
- 28:25So I just was like, okay let me just start going through this
- 28:27process of understanding. What God is really trying to
- 28:30tell me through these different things?
- 28:32And yes, time kind of went on. I was able to kind of just
- 28:36really dig into this idea of like, okay, every A song is
- 28:40going to be about him, that's a given, but every song also has a
- 28:43baseline of what I want to talk about.
- 28:45So run to you was that first one and that kind of led into all
- 28:48the other songs that ended up coming out and I really wanted
- 28:50to make something that was very, very scripture focus in
- 28:54scripture Centric and not to say that music in the past wasn't.
- 28:57But I wanted to get away from like testimonial type music or
- 29:00Ministry where it's I'm just talking about myself and how I
- 29:02came to God, which is great. And I think there's a time and a
- 29:04place for that. But I holy wanted to focus on
- 29:07the word and tie it into You know, my experiences and given
- 29:11that kind of come out of this place where I was really craving
- 29:14this Idol, I didn't want to do that.
- 29:16And that's why I run to you I think ended up being the first
- 29:18song that I recorded because it was all about just turning back
- 29:20to God and running to him, you know playing from the devil
- 29:23towards the Lord and with that in mind Shalom kind of came a
- 29:27little bit later but the the principle I think for Shalom is
- 29:31very similar to that of but fear God we're in Shalom.
- 29:34I'm talking about different Commandments of God what he kind
- 29:38of outlined in the The Old Testament and the new you know
- 29:41specifically talking about the type of piece that he brings
- 29:44Shalom, the title track goes over the Ten Commandments in a
- 29:47way that I wanted people to remember because I have a hard
- 29:49time remembering the Ten Commandment sometimes.
- 29:51So I was like okay Lord song, I could just go back to that
- 29:54calling and always reference like the different Commandments.
- 29:57Like okay this is what this means.
- 29:59This is what that means. And then also just looking at,
- 30:02you know, kind of that process of justification.
- 30:06You know, we're justified by Christ, sanctification were
- 30:08saying Find daily through Christ by walking with him and
- 30:12glorification when we receive glorified bodies because of
- 30:15Christ. And I really wanted that to
- 30:16reflect on some of the other songs like higher 3x and just
- 30:20some of those different tracks. But that was kind of the
- 30:22process. I think a lot of the music I've
- 30:24been creating has reflected my journey and reflected my study
- 30:29scripturally while taking into account.
- 30:31Some of the things I really think we're missing out in a lot
- 30:33of Christian music today. And again, no shot at any
- 30:36existing Christian music, but I think Christian rap in Tickler,
- 30:39it's hard to maintain total, humility and scriptural focus in
- 30:46a genre. That is usually totally the
- 30:48opposite and if you have earphones sonically that are are
- 30:52not aligned with scripture, it makes it even more difficult,
- 30:54right? Because if you're listening to
- 30:56XYZ artist on a consistent basis and they're they're not
- 30:59reflecting the values of God, how can you do that?
- 31:02Exact same thing with the music that you're creating, you know?
- 31:05So that that would be kind of a breakdown.
- 31:07I hope I didn't segue too far off the Of the truck there but
- 31:10but that's kind of where those two projects came from.
- 31:12You know, the word says was stored up in a man's heart is
- 31:15going to flow out in his speech and just to see what you were
- 31:18thinking and kind of feeling and how you're reflecting on what
- 31:23you're surrendering to God and how the music is being
- 31:25attributed to God alone and then that separates us, like we may
- 31:31be walking through the valley of the shadow of death will we're
- 31:35going to smell like heaven when we are praising God and seeking
- 31:37him first seeking his kingdom. Um, first, so I love hearing
- 31:41that just because in your music, I can hear.
- 31:45I can hear like the different passions that you're bringing in
- 31:48and I can almost in my imagination.
- 31:50Be like, yo, he is fighting a battle, and the Breakthrough
- 31:54came and that's where the song came from.
- 31:55I mean that's what my imagination does.
- 31:57As I think America percent, man, a lot of ways.
- 32:00Like, I'll be writing songs sometimes and you know, all
- 32:03legitimate Lee be like, okay, I like out the song will be done.
- 32:07I'm like okay God this is what you wanted me to.
- 32:09Take away from it, you know, and and you know, there's a blessing
- 32:12when creating anything for God or doing Ministry for God, when
- 32:16the like there's been so many times when I've listened back to
- 32:19old songs that I've done and the old song spoke to me as if it
- 32:23was present time. But I know that's only through
- 32:24the deleted. That's so cool.
- 32:27You know, the guiding of God like God is essentially saying
- 32:30I'm making this song for you right now and also down the line
- 32:34when you need it, it's going to be here for you, you know?
- 32:36Which is pretty cool. That's so cool.
- 32:38And That's the thing. That's so important with me for
- 32:40music is all the years that I was really living secular.
- 32:44I grew up secular and committing these songs to memory it.
- 32:48It, I believed it lends to iniquity in our lives, like
- 32:52serious bondage because the proverb says, so a man thinketh,
- 32:56he is. So if you you're running around
- 32:58bumping, this secular music. It's not that like just
- 33:01lyrically or the words alone or as harmful, I mean they are, but
- 33:06people have different sensitivity levels for me, I
- 33:08just grew up. Public hearing and seeing stuff
- 33:10we're like I'm like, oh well nonchalant like it just is what
- 33:13it is but once I realized yeah I have committed to memory.
- 33:18These Satanic Verses, you know, cleansing.
- 33:21My mind was important. And it there was a weird
- 33:23exchange where I had to learn it was okay to listen to rap music.
- 33:28Again, if it was Christian but it had to be like it had to tug
- 33:31me in the spirit which I had trouble finding people for a
- 33:35couple of years there that I could really just settle with
- 33:38based upon. On everything, not just one
- 33:40song. I don't want to judge an artist
- 33:42on one song or a season of their life because none of us are
- 33:46exempt. We can't say, we have no sin and
- 33:48deceive ourselves but we don't teach sin, we're striving for
- 33:51Holiness. So trying to find an artist who
- 33:54their Broadband spectrum is literally glorifying God.
- 33:57Capturing their journey and just pumping out life-giving words
- 34:02that are going to be stuck in the subconscious mind of The
- 34:05Listener. Yeah, amen.
- 34:07Amen, it's important. As Even important.
- 34:10Yeah man, definitely thing too because, you know, to your point
- 34:14coming from a secular background, I'm like, okay, if I
- 34:17put out a song and somebody commit to memory, what do I want
- 34:20them to be saying? And I honestly, yes, exactly.
- 34:23Only thing I could come too - like I want it to be scripture,
- 34:25right? So if you remember a good line
- 34:27or something that sticks out to you, I don't want it to be a
- 34:29clever pun. A punchline, really great
- 34:33metaphor. I want it to be something that
- 34:35is scripturally based at you. You know, you are just
- 34:38reflecting all the time and you know, the other day I was like,
- 34:42riding the Peloton in the house and, you know, they have music
- 34:45that that goes on and a song came on and it's not like the
- 34:48worst song in the world, but it's been stuck in my head for
- 34:50like a day, right? So I'm like, Lord, if if my
- 34:54music or any music for that matter, has the ability to be
- 34:57stuck in someone's mind and I'm repeating his lyrics over and
- 35:00over and over. What kind of weight does that
- 35:03carry as a messenger of the Gospel?
- 35:05You might watch a movie one time.
- 35:07In the movie really sticks with you or the a line of dialogue
- 35:10really sticks with you but you probably won't watch many
- 35:12movies, 40 50 times where you might listen to one song, 40 or
- 35:1550 times, you know. Just trying to that point.
- 35:18They're like who's your favorite artist right now?
- 35:20Like what music do you choose to go to and listen to Just when
- 35:24you're kind of in Chill Zone, like not creating content
- 35:27families, all cool, and settled. And do you ever get like a kick
- 35:31where you're like? I just want to listen to
- 35:32something, like some background noise.
- 35:34Like who would you listen to today?
- 35:36Autumn answer the So, what's kind of cool is a lot of the
- 35:39people, so, like a couple of songs that I've released in from
- 35:42this guy, Mark then parlay and he does Lo-Fi Christian music.
- 35:47So I've been really liking a lot of Lo-Fi Christian music because
- 35:50there's no lyrics and I really like the interpretation that
- 35:53many of them will do with what like popular worship songs or
- 35:56hymns. They'll turn them into like a
- 35:57loaf. I sort of be.
- 35:58So I've definitely been loving that quite a bit.
- 36:00No big deal. It's kind of been a go-to you
- 36:02know definitely love his music. Holvey is another another
- 36:05artist. So I feel those Two guys in
- 36:07particular I feel their music is very very scripturally based and
- 36:12like hope she has a music video for a song called Holy Spirit
- 36:16and the whole video just people getting baptized, it's just a
- 36:18bunch of clips of different people getting baptized and I'm
- 36:20like, whoa, what a beautiful, what a beautiful concept.
- 36:23So those guys I really love, Brian Trejo, and Kingdom music
- 36:26Ministries, Antoine Hill. All those guys, as well.
- 36:29There's a lot of really great guys in the like Christian rap,
- 36:32space that I enjoy. And then from this music in
- 36:34general man, just whatever is on the radio is Usually pretty cool
- 36:37with me, I do like Maverick City music and stuff that they
- 36:42produce for the most part. Try to keep in mind like
- 36:44different things going on and, you know, some of these some of
- 36:47these other artists or whatnot. But yeah, man, I mean honestly
- 36:51if I'm listen to the music and glorifies God and I don't hear
- 36:53anything off with it, I'm usually loving it but but you
- 36:57know, nine times a little slow, I'm defaulting to Mike Rap and
- 36:59R&B just because that's what I enjoy.
- 37:01I went through like a bit of a period where I was listening to
- 37:05like bio Craddock. So it was just like in
- 37:07instrumental music because I was terrified of like anybody else's
- 37:10words. I'm like I'm trying to hide the
- 37:12word of God in my heart so I don't sin against him.
- 37:14I'm trying to read. So like what I was listening to
- 37:17a lot of just instrumentals for a while there.
- 37:20Yeah but I have found a couple solid people.
- 37:22You being one of those people on be my absolute mint.
- 37:26Keep it up. Keep it up because I talk a lot
- 37:28about the ripple effect on this. Show the interviews that take
- 37:33place here. Yeah, it's a podcast interview
- 37:36but but If the Apostle Paul was here, he would be on a podcast.
- 37:39He would utilize everything he had accidents to, you know?
- 37:43And so music is a really important part of just its
- 37:48accompanying us through life. You know, we're going through
- 37:51this process and sometimes the right word at the right time
- 37:56makes all the difference or it can make a bad difference.
- 38:01If it's the wrong words at the wrong time.
- 38:03I'm sure. And I learned that the hard way
- 38:05growing up, I was the youngest So I had my older siblings and
- 38:08my older cousins and stuff like that and it was they were big on
- 38:11DMX in the beginning and I think it stands for like Darkman
- 38:14extreme. And that's not really.
- 38:16Yeah, yeah. It's really tough for and I know
- 38:20other Millennials out there can relate to this to have that.
- 38:23As your starting point, as your young mind is developing.
- 38:26You have all these things in there that don't belong to you
- 38:29and it can alter the way that you kind of conduct yourself, or
- 38:32view the world around you. And I so I want to just give you
- 38:36a spanking Iceman where I want you to talk about what you've
- 38:39been doing with YouTube and The Tick-Tock and Instagram and just
- 38:44some like climax points of exposing these symbols and go.
- 38:50As far as you want to talk about as much as you want in this
- 38:52space of exposing the darkness in this music aspect.
- 38:55I really want to drum up more interest with the listeners so
- 38:59that we can get some people over there to really check you, check
- 39:02out what you're doing, because my jaw hits the floor and I do
- 39:05this in like other areas, like, Debunking aliens.
- 39:08And, you know what I mean? Like going, like, I do this from
- 39:11something, which, I mean, they're expecting one of the
- 39:13last few days. I don't know if you've noticed
- 39:15that a lot of a lot of conversations and whatnot around
- 39:18that actually saw something today, where it was some sort of
- 39:22spacecraft, or what they're saying is, yes.
- 39:25And there's a knife, who knows? I think probably, you know, what
- 39:33really kind of solidified a drive to push this as I remember
- 39:37Was in. We were in our last place that
- 39:40we move recently and I was it was like December or something.
- 39:43And I was like, you know, there's this Playboy cardi merch
- 39:46that just dropped and it was all like super occultic super say
- 39:50satanic stuff and I was like, you know, it drop but who really
- 39:53cares, you know, and I say that because it's just seems like
- 39:56room was kind of like cool with it.
- 39:58No one really cares about like what this means or represents so
- 40:01I made a video on it, got a few hundred views but also, you
- 40:03know, I enjoyed this process of being able to speak about this
- 40:06and started picking It up. And as good as God is, Man, he
- 40:09blessed it right away with a couple of videos.
- 40:12In particular that really took off, I recorded a CD series on
- 40:16the weekend, kind of exposing his catalog and the things that
- 40:20he was showing and shortly after doing that, he had us his Super
- 40:24Bowl concert so that Super Bowl concert got a lot of people
- 40:28questioning. A lot of people you know like
- 40:30what the heck is this if you ever saw it and the videos took
- 40:34off in a major way, got hundreds of thousands of views which was
- 40:36pretty Exciting to see. And then again with that Travis
- 40:39Scott concert that happened again, jam-packed with symbolism
- 40:42a cultic like stuff was able to cover that and share that.
- 40:45But I think the biggest thing has been people reaching out to
- 40:47me and saying like, hey, I never even thought about this stuff.
- 40:50I suffer from depression and XYZ, do you think this could be
- 40:53part of that reason and I'm like well, 100% is contributing to
- 40:57it. You know, think you're listening
- 40:58to the yes, frequencies of sound, whatever it might be.
- 41:02And just having those conversations with people who
- 41:04are genuinely searching for God or trying to figure out who Ooh,
- 41:07God is and and maybe not able to decipher who he is through the
- 41:10noise or hear his voice to the noise, and it's been a blessing
- 41:13to be able to talk to people like that.
- 41:15You know, I think there is some excitement around.
- 41:18Oh, you know this got so many views or so much common, so much
- 41:20traction. You know, they're, there is an
- 41:22Allure of that. But it's one of those things
- 41:24that I try to not focus too much on because it was a problem in
- 41:27the past for me, and I think the biggest time I felt blessed is
- 41:30when people like wow, I never looked at it like that.
- 41:32This is really going to help me inform like my decision-making
- 41:36and and Surprised actually had one person in particular and you
- 41:40know, God is working on these people and multiple ways not
- 41:43just with me but I one person in particular who was going to get
- 41:45baptized as a result of us talking and that like, brought
- 41:48me so much joy. I haven't talked to them in a
- 41:50while, I don't know if they follow through with it, you know
- 41:52we pray for those people and pray that they make the right
- 41:54decision to move forward with a relationship with Christ as a
- 41:57result. And again, I know God is
- 41:59working. I'm one of the small cogs in the
- 42:01wheel in this person's life but hopefully it's enough just to
- 42:04kind of peak their interest in and get them looking More into
- 42:07these different things. Those powerful.
- 42:09The word says, we are not to be ignorant to the devil's devices.
- 42:13We are to expose the darkness. Now, that's not like an end, all
- 42:17be all like, 100% of the drive and time is to doing that.
- 42:20Yeah, but because it's so absent in the body, like, in the, well,
- 42:25in the church. I think the body is actually.
- 42:28It's very peculiar. I'll stuffs happening.
- 42:30Well, yeah, nobody's are becoming somebody's in the
- 42:33somebody's are becoming nobody's in a nutshell.
- 42:36Yeah, but It's interesting how like from the pulpit and I don't
- 42:39judge churches. My goal is not to try to cause
- 42:41division. My thing is, I'm trying to find
- 42:44the people that are like me, that are rest because I know how
- 42:46hard this season was wrestling through these questions, not
- 42:49having anybody really to go to. But it did teach me to lean
- 42:53closer, to God, but but we're a body.
- 42:55So, this is supposed to fit together and function.
- 42:58Well, like, I love when a kneecap Moves In Motion, like a
- 43:02kneecap should an elbow can do its job without them trying to
- 43:06pretend to be each. Other, you know what I mean?
- 43:08It's like it's really cool to see an area, like the music
- 43:14industry getting, you know, just getting the Shakedown for what
- 43:18it is for Shane. And when I see God using you to
- 43:21do that, I'm going, this is good because everybody listens to
- 43:27music. You can't go shopping without
- 43:29music playing in the background. Like it's such a common part of
- 43:33life that people really do. Forget that, that is a
- 43:36frequency. Now it reminds me, I just want
- 43:38to drop this one real quick popped into my head, there was a
- 43:41Japanese Christian Scientist from.
- 43:45This is back in the day. I remember this book came out,
- 43:47but he does a study on water and just by looking at water
- 43:51molecules and how under the microscope water responded to
- 43:56the words being said, he even did a study, where he would have
- 43:59write different words on a little piece of paper and tape
- 44:02it to the water bottle, and they make drastically different
- 44:05images like it. Goes from hideous-looking.
- 44:08If it was a dark or, you know, satanic word or like hurtful
- 44:12words. And if he spoke life around that
- 44:15water and made a beautiful Crystal and he documents this in
- 44:18his book, I can't believe. I'm forgetting the name.
- 44:21I've talked about it before on the Pod but like we're made of
- 44:2570% water. Yeah.
- 44:28What do you think's happening when we were walking around?
- 44:30You know what to say to these these frequencies?
- 44:33So it's so dope to see this generation.
- 44:37And who God is calling forward to kind of really lead in these
- 44:40areas that are unchartered because people just are like,
- 44:43oh, come on anything. But the music, right?
- 44:46Yeah, me and you know, I know what my music some assholes is,
- 44:50oftentimes, I'll have people and like, you know, take this for
- 44:54what it is. But oftentimes, when I call out
- 44:56something I'm like, hey, this song is talking about x y z.
- 44:59We probably shouldn't be listening to it as Christians
- 45:01because it's gonna, you know, it's going to affect us
- 45:03negatively. And usually, that's my Approach.
- 45:06I'm not usually. They don't listen to any secular
- 45:09music. It's all and yeah, honestly like
- 45:11a part of me is like, you know just about right?
- 45:13Just about it is but I don't want to be so extreme.
- 45:15I want to approach it with the tempered ways that people can
- 45:18digest, it fairly right and take the point for what it is.
- 45:21But so often I'll get a you're overthinking it, it's just
- 45:25music. And then, you know, at the exact
- 45:28same time you have music. If you were to ask somebody
- 45:31personally, hey, how important is music to you, how important
- 45:33are the most favorite songs that you have or your favorite
- 45:35artists. And they would be You mentally
- 45:37important, right? So it's, it's either, I'm over
- 45:40right or music has no Worth, right?
- 45:43So it's either one of our, these other things.
- 45:45So if we're overthinking our analysis, it's because the music
- 45:49isn't worth anything. But we know that's not the case.
- 45:52We know people have songs have artists that they idolize,
- 45:56right? And you know, from the world
- 45:58standard, that's okay. But I've I remember when I was a
- 46:00kid walking to like a friend's house and they had posters of an
- 46:03artist all over the room, covering every Square.
- 46:06Air into the room and I'm like, you know, hindsight looking
- 46:09back. I'm like, that's not idolatry.
- 46:11I don't know what it is. Right.
- 46:12Or if you know every single one of their songs with use your
- 46:14mind with them on the street either the it's not important
- 46:19and I'm overthinking it or it's immensely important and we're
- 46:21under thinking it just to just to kind of dive into a couple
- 46:25other topics like I really didn't want to shift fully that
- 46:29direction. I hopefully you'll come back
- 46:30again in the future and we could just really unleash on just
- 46:33other things that are going on in the world.
- 46:35But you brought up the spaceship That was getting left out five
- 46:38years ago for taking some of the stances.
- 46:40I was taking just because of what you just said with about
- 46:43music. Now let's apply that.
- 46:45Same critical thinking through what the holy spirit is
- 46:48provoking us, right? Because it is not God's will for
- 46:51people to be walking around. Confused, God doesn't give us a
- 46:54spirit of confusion so I was on a another show, doing an
- 46:59exclusive interview for the first time recently and I'm
- 47:02talking to them and I'm saying, all these people are watching
- 47:05Ancient Aliens right there. Watching all this secular stuff.
- 47:08I grew up outside of Philadelphia, a lot of culture
- 47:11diversities, you know, a lot of different topics.
- 47:13A lot of Supernatural stuff happen over the course of my
- 47:15life and everybody's like there's a sacred or secular
- 47:19divide of some sort between the church if you're a Christian or
- 47:23if you're even interested versus the world.
- 47:26But I started to see in the gospel.
- 47:28Christ is risen from the grave bro.
- 47:31He conquers death the Lamb of God comes as the physical image
- 47:36of God. Holmes, this is the gospel,
- 47:38right? And he shows up, pays for sin is
- 47:41risen on the third day, according to the scriptures, but
- 47:43there's also he's dethroning these lower case G gods that
- 47:49were allotted to the Nations. And people like some people were
- 47:52like, oh no, I'm like own Ancient Aliens and said this,
- 47:56I'm like, you're so close. You're so close, but wrong.
- 48:01Well you'll get one, you know, you'll give them enough to make
- 48:06them Curious. It's almost kind of like it's
- 48:10almost like I'll show you every workout and like, you know,
- 48:12you'll you, if you follow these workouts, will get the perfect
- 48:14thing but your diets all wrong. So you'll never get the body.
- 48:16You're looking for something to keep you coming back shows like
- 48:21Ancient Aliens over like oh we're going to give you the real
- 48:23truth and the Deep truth in the hidden truth but then the
- 48:26episode will usually end from what I remember seeing it is
- 48:29like but we don't know you know we don't know the answer and
- 48:31it's like okay well there isn't it.
- 48:33That's right. There is an answer that reflect
- 48:37But yeah, man. I mean, it's one of those things
- 48:39and, you know, even to tie into that food thing.
- 48:41It's kind of like you need to eat, right?
- 48:43You need to know what foods are healthy but if someone's eating,
- 48:46you know, the worst kinds of food that's packed with all
- 48:49these terrible things or pesticides and they're like and
- 48:52they're telling you, hey, why are you saying this food is bad
- 48:54and Our obligation, to show them why it is like, okay?
- 48:57Do you know what a pesticide is? Let me show you, right.
- 48:59You know what, it's not organic or whatever, it might be right.
- 49:02When we think about our physical diet, we also have to consider a
- 49:06spiritual guy. I had our spiritual diets
- 49:07usually made up of by what we see and what we listen to.
- 49:11And and you know, the way that we interact with the world, may
- 49:15say that one more time. Just say, one more time, that
- 49:17last part I'm on our physical dying, and our spiritual diet
- 49:20and, you know, are going to inform our makeup.
- 49:23Right? In our spiritual eyes made up of
- 49:24what we see and what we hear. And the things that we consume
- 49:27and you know, by beholding would become an Interior point, you
- 49:29know out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.
- 49:32And if we're filled with, with wickedness or intolerance or
- 49:36hey, Trade or whatever else the world is giving to us.
- 49:39That's what's going to come out of us.
- 49:40You know. It's not going to be anything of
- 49:41God, that is so powerful Gordon. I want to piggyback on what you
- 49:45were saying. Uh, just a minute ago, people
- 49:48keep coming back to that ancient alien stuff because you really
- 49:51don't get an answer because we were designed with in Turkey
- 49:54eternity in mind. So, people do long for these
- 49:57Supernatural things, but they're going to the wrong places and
- 50:00that's why it's imperative. We the church like this.
- 50:03We are the church, right? So we have to be on The Cutting
- 50:06Edge. Hedge.
- 50:07But at the same time, we have to be meeting people with love and
- 50:10compassion, not just words, right?
- 50:12Amen. But, but we use these platforms,
- 50:16it's like a weapon or a tool for a job and I literally had to
- 50:20kill a rattlesnake the other day.
- 50:21Like we moved in December. Yeah, I know, I was living in
- 50:24town. I had a front yard that was like
- 50:26three feet by three feet in between two different pieces of
- 50:28sidewalk. And now we're we have like, two
- 50:31acres and we were up on a little Hillside, right?
- 50:34And so I come home from work, my wife scared.
- 50:36She sees, it's a Timber Eastern. Diamond, timber rattlesnake.
- 50:41So Pennsylvania has like three poisonous.
- 50:43Snakes is sitting at my front door and I'm like, I got a
- 50:47six-year-old. I'm like, there's no way like
- 50:49this is not how this goes down. I don't like killing stuff but
- 50:51from I had to grab a shovel and I'll chop his head off.
- 50:54Yeah, I mean, it is what it is. You know what I mean?
- 50:55I'm not a snake Hunter. I don't like killing animals or
- 50:58whoever wants to send me an email and say, oh my gosh, what
- 51:00did you do? Just save it.
- 51:02Okay, because this highly venomous.
- 51:04He was out front of my front door, but we liken that to the
- 51:08reality of sometimes even going throughout life, we're going to
- 51:11find some very, very dangerous and venomous things.
- 51:15And if we're not training and we're not preparing ourselves
- 51:18for that. It's doesn't end well, it
- 51:22doesn't end well. I think about the Greek word for
- 51:24training goo Gonzo and it's these intense intermittent
- 51:29training sessions, right? And that's how we got to be with
- 51:31the word of God. Amen.
- 51:33And bro, I can see that light in you in the beginning you talked
- 51:36about your journey and how it was a process that resonates so
- 51:39deep with me because I don't judge people but I have met
- 51:42people who are like oh I just changed overnight and did this
- 51:45in that and it's almost like you can see the pride in what
- 51:47they're trying to be like, oh yeah, I'm done.
- 51:49The circles around you but but God is a good father.
- 51:53So, he's gonna train Us in every area of Life.
- 51:56All of these different, the plethora of rabbit Trails of
- 51:59what whoever you, as a listener, whatever you're dealing with,
- 52:02and going through take it to the Lord in prayer.
- 52:05Amen. Take it to God and trust in him.
- 52:07He's the Strong Tower that we can rely on, but we got to seek
- 52:11him with all of our hearts. Now flf I want to ask you, what
- 52:13would be your message for the millennial generation?
- 52:16Like, if this was the last time you were on air and God was I
- 52:20want you to speak to the listening people here.
- 52:22What would your message be? Yeah, that's a great question.
- 52:26I think my message would be to follow where God is leading you
- 52:29and to surrender your will to the holy spirit's.
- 52:32I think I think for a very long time, what hindered my
- 52:37opportunity to perform Ministry and and maybe it was a necessary
- 52:41thing for me to grow but it was just largely not adhering to
- 52:44what the Holy Spirit had for me and placing my pride or placing
- 52:47my art in a place that couldn't be touched or could it be
- 52:50affected by anyone but myself I think surrendering self is a key
- 52:54part of it. It and removing any selfish
- 52:56ambition, I think if we are selfless and determined and
- 53:00driven, and willing to surrender everything to God, he can use
- 53:03this in incredible ways and I'm always humbled like, you know,
- 53:07reading through what, like, I'm going through the Bible again
- 53:10and I'm reading right now, I'm in Romans and I'm reading
- 53:12through how like, Paul's pretty much saying, you know, hey, I'm
- 53:16a Tent Maker by trade, you know, and this is what I'm doing.
- 53:18And I made I made ashamed for the, the the gospel of Christ
- 53:23and you guys are glorified for the gospel of Christ.
- 53:25You just kind of, you know, going through these different
- 53:27areas and there's a lot that he talks about, but I think that
- 53:29stuck out to me in this season of life, because there are
- 53:32certain moments and times where you feel like, man, it got, is
- 53:35this really where you want me to be.
- 53:36It's really where I need to be and I'm just reminded of like,
- 53:39okay, I'm going to surrender, my will surrender.
- 53:40My pride, my selfishness, whatever, that might be to you
- 53:43and still, I didn't work for me and I think everyone can benefit
- 53:47from that, and I don't know what that's going to mean to
- 53:49individual people. But there are there is nothing
- 53:52better than giving God. Leti for everything that you're
- 53:56doing. It makes life a lot easier.
- 53:57I can assure you that dr. Laura Sanger.
- 54:01And you were the two people that when this podcast, I almost came
- 54:05to a screeching halt and I did it temporarily came to a
- 54:08screeching halt. I shared that testimony who so I
- 54:14you and Laura both, like, have this place in my mind where you
- 54:17prayed with me and sent me some encouragement through because
- 54:21people don't really see this stuff.
- 54:23Like the microphones, not oh, On when life is happening right,
- 54:26then your camera's not always on.
- 54:28So I just got nothing but love and respect for you man and I
- 54:31love what you're doing music. Watch plug-in where people can
- 54:35find you so they can go experience, just the anointing
- 54:38on your music. What social medias YouTube or
- 54:42websites. Anything you got a got man.
- 54:45Thank you. I appreciate it man.
- 54:46And yeah, being able to connect with, you has been a big
- 54:48blessing man and I'm glad we finally got it in and, you know,

- 55:36I know this episode was edifying for me.
- 55:38Personally, if you heard something on here that just, you
- 55:42know, open up your mind a little bit and said, you know what, I
- 55:44need to dive into this, what's going on in the music world.
- 55:47I need to pray about this and come to the Lord with it.
- 55:50Share this episode pass it along to a friend, a family member,
- 55:53share it with your pastor. And don't forget, we're all
