- 0:04Speaker 1: his podcast on the iHeartRadio app.
- 0:07Speaker 2: Now back to Mark Simon on woor.
- 0:12Speaker 1: Let's take some calls. Eight hundred three two one zero
- 0:16Speaker 1: seven tennis and number. Let's go to George and Long Island. George,
- 0:19Speaker 1: how you doing.
- 0:21Speaker 3: Hi?
- 0:21Speaker 4: Mark?
- 0:22Speaker 3: I went to Chaz by the way, I live in
- 0:24Speaker 3: Port Jeffards.
- 0:24Speaker 2: That was very good.
- 0:25Speaker 1: Jazz. That's a big new restaurant. Rothman's at a legendary restaurant.
- 0:30Speaker 1: They opened a second restaurant, the Chazz in Smithtown.
- 0:34Speaker 3: Yeah, I went there. It's very uh you know, it's not.
- 0:36Speaker 3: It's pricey, but you get what you paid for and
- 0:38Speaker 3: it's beautiful in sight. So thanks.
- 0:40Speaker 1: That's quite a luxurious restaurant's supposed to be pricey.
- 0:43Speaker 3: It's I'm not complaining.
- 0:45Speaker 1: It's not the Chesscake Factory, not the Olive guard.
- 0:49Speaker 3: I take my grandchildren to the cheesecake Factory.
- 0:51Speaker 1: I love the Cheesecake Factory. I love that menu. Seventy
- 0:54Speaker 1: eight pages. You can't decide anything.
- 0:56Speaker 3: Mark, what I wanted to say about Andrew Clomo. He
- 1:00Speaker 3: wants to blame everybody about the law sit on mandangne
- 1:03Speaker 3: blames courtesy blames. How about the lousy campaign he ran
- 1:07Speaker 3: in the primary, no effort whatsoever. He thought that, being
- 1:11Speaker 3: Andrew Cormore, they were going to put him in. So
- 1:14Speaker 3: I really, I mean, I don't like Mandanie obviously, but
- 1:17Speaker 3: I hate Soul loses. He doesn't want to take any
- 1:19Speaker 3: blame for Montani winning. That's all I have to say.
- 1:22Speaker 1: Yeah, well, he's a You gotta remember it. He's not
- 1:27Speaker 1: exactly the greatest genius in the world. And when you're
- 1:30Speaker 1: like that, you don't realize that you're a bad campaigner.
- 1:33Speaker 1: If he realized that, he'd fix it. If he knew
- 1:37Speaker 1: enough to know how bad he is campaigning, he'd be
- 1:39Speaker 1: able to do something about it. Something in the debate.
- 1:41Speaker 1: He's horrible in the debate. He now does one of
- 1:44Speaker 1: the world's worst radio shows. It's an hour of him
- 1:49Speaker 1: talking like this lecturing you, trying to sound like a professor,
- 1:56Speaker 1: like it's a lecture. But I listened to this radio show.
- 1:59Speaker 1: This is a good insight into him. He actually said,
- 2:03Speaker 1: you know, I'm a Bill Clinton Democrat. I'm a middle
- 2:07Speaker 1: of the road, common sense Democrat. I'm an old fashioned
- 2:10Speaker 1: Bill Clinton Democrat. Now it's stunning how delusional this guy is.
- 2:14Speaker 1: We just saw him as governor for ten years. He
- 2:17Speaker 1: was the total opposite of that. He was a left wing,
- 2:20Speaker 1: far left wing, woke, extreme left governor. He's the guy
- 2:24Speaker 1: that put in this no bail, no jail. He pushed
- 2:27Speaker 1: hard for no bail, no jail. He pushed hard for
- 2:30Speaker 1: closing the prisons, letting the prisoners out. He'd made He
- 2:34Speaker 1: doubled and tripled your electric bill by shutting down fracking.
- 2:38Speaker 1: He shut down Indian Point. He was as far to
- 2:41Speaker 1: the left as anybody. But you know, when you're like him,
- 2:46Speaker 1: you just you convince yourself of anything. Convinces himself. He's
- 2:49Speaker 1: a moderate Bill Clinton type. He did everything exactly the
- 2:52Speaker 1: opposite of what Bill Clinton would have done in office.
- 2:54Speaker 1: Remember he threw Ice out and he was gonna sue
- 2:56Speaker 1: them for a sanctuary state, just as left as he
- 2:59Speaker 1: could be. Let's go to sal in New Jersey. Sal.
- 3:02Speaker 5: How you doing, Good morning, Mark, How you doing? Mark?
- 3:06Speaker 5: I just want to say that the American people have
- 3:09Speaker 5: to be patient with our war with Iran. It took
- 3:11Speaker 5: eleven months between our invasion of Normandy and the defeat
- 3:15Speaker 5: of the Nazi Germany when they went to Berlin and
- 3:18Speaker 5: the American people just got to be patient. They got
- 3:20Speaker 5: to be realized that it takes time for us to
- 3:21Speaker 5: be if we beat Nazi Germany eleven months, which was
- 3:24Speaker 5: which was a top, which was a powerful Nazi Warmans.
- 3:28Speaker 1: In fact, President now saying it looks like it's going
- 3:31Speaker 1: to be days not weeks. That everything was two weeks.
- 3:34Speaker 1: You know, every time he says it's two weeks, a
- 3:36Speaker 1: year could go by, it's still two weeks. It's always
- 3:38Speaker 1: two weeks with him. But he's now saying days one
- 3:41Speaker 1: o'clock today, it'll be a press conference. Well, I'll bet
- 3:43Speaker 1: he'll say that now that this is probably gonna be
- 3:46Speaker 1: days not weeks. Let's go to Neil and Brooklyn. Neil,
- 3:49Speaker 1: how you doing all right?
- 3:51Speaker 6: Mark? Thank you Mark. I've been watching Pritzker and James
- 3:56Speaker 6: club Will say all these crazy things, obviously appealing to
- 4:01Speaker 6: the real nut jobs and the Democrat Party.
- 4:04Speaker 7: But I've been wondering lately whether they feel secure that
- 4:09Speaker 7: they have the normal Democrats on their side, or they
- 4:12Speaker 7: feel they lost them and that's why they were appealing
- 4:15Speaker 7: to the nud jobs.
- 4:15Speaker 1: No, they just completely lost. Trump drives them insane, literally insane.
- 4:20Speaker 1: They go crazy, ranting, raving, yelling and screaming. Carville is
- 4:24Speaker 1: just completely lost his mind. The last few videos he
- 4:28Speaker 1: looks absolutely nuts. Pritzker, that's also kind of an old feud.
- 4:32Speaker 1: Pritzker and Trump have always hated each other. The Pritzker
- 4:36Speaker 1: family is in the hotel business, and Trump's first big
- 4:40Speaker 1: project was Dog Hyatt at Grand Central and his partners
- 4:44Speaker 1: on that were the Pritzkers, and they split up. I
- 4:47Speaker 1: didn't go with something went wrong there. So ever since
- 4:49Speaker 1: then it's been a blood feud Pritzkers and Trump's. Let's
- 4:53Speaker 1: go to Rich and Myrtle Beach Rich, how you doing?
- 4:56Speaker 4: Hey? Thanks Mark? You know and Andrew Clmo's diffic compete
- 4:59Speaker 4: more on. Jeffries is a moron. These people can't even
- 5:02Speaker 4: articulate sensible sentences or put together a paragraph or Springer sentences.
- 5:09Speaker 4: You know, I do take an even balance a checkbook.
- 5:11Speaker 4: But can you imagine for a second any of these people,
- 5:14Speaker 4: or Joe Biden or Kamala Harris or Joe Milly or
- 5:18Speaker 4: Vin Hives and putting together a project like this And
- 5:21Speaker 4: I ran where they built it pretty much a small
- 5:24Speaker 4: airport to rescue a pilot and then get the hell
- 5:26Speaker 4: out of there. These people are completely Moralis. They could
- 5:28Speaker 4: never pull something like this.
- 5:30Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, for all the criticism of Pete Hexith
- 5:32Speaker 1: not qualified. First of all, he's much more qualified than
- 5:35Speaker 1: half the secretaries of the defense we've had. Many of
- 5:38Speaker 1: them have had no military experience. They were just a
- 5:40Speaker 1: congressman or something. So, But for all the criticism of Hexath,
- 5:44Speaker 1: under his watch, in his brief time there, we have
- 5:49Speaker 1: pulled off the most incredible, state of the art successful
- 5:53Speaker 1: military operations ever. From Maduro to taking out and RAN's
- 5:58Speaker 1: nuclear reactors to rescuing that pilot. This is all under
- 6:00Speaker 1: hexas watch. It's all happened with him in charge. Let's
- 6:04Speaker 1: go to Vincent and Brooklyn. Vincent, how you doing.
- 6:07Speaker 2: Good morning, Marc, Good morning Marriage. These liberal commentators on
- 6:10Speaker 2: these Sunday shows all seemed to forget that blowing up infrastructure,
- 6:16Speaker 2: as you said, as part of war. They conveniently forget
- 6:19Speaker 2: that Dooley's raidings during World War Two, right in the
- 6:22Speaker 2: closing weeks, used to fly over Tokyo at night, and
- 6:26Speaker 2: because most of the buildings were still made out of
- 6:30Speaker 2: wood where the people lived, they didn't need the street
- 6:33Speaker 2: lights they used to light up. They were dropping siniary bombs.
- 6:38Speaker 2: And practically burnt the whole city before they dropped the
- 6:42Speaker 2: atomic bombs. I think last week you and I got
- 6:45Speaker 2: on Wire's course because I said Ronald Reagan should have
- 6:49Speaker 2: done what Trump is doing forty six years ago. I
- 6:52Speaker 2: didn't mean about cleaning up the voting rolls and everything
- 6:55Speaker 2: like that. He should have won. Ronald Reagan as soon
- 6:58Speaker 2: as he got his having it together, he should have
- 7:02Speaker 2: went into Iran and destroyed them before they could have
- 7:05Speaker 2: gotten their sea legs, because they were still a bunch
- 7:09Speaker 2: of ragtag, bunch of radical lunatics. They didn't have it together,
- 7:14Speaker 2: and then in time they got their terrorist machine up
- 7:17Speaker 2: and running, and then they started to do all the
- 7:20Speaker 2: damage against US. Had Ronald Reagan went in there the
- 7:23Speaker 2: first month after he got his walk habbinet together, it
- 7:27Speaker 2: wouldn't have been necessary for Donald Trump to go in
- 7:30Speaker 2: there forty six today.
- 7:32Speaker 1: You're not wrong. You can blame Reagan, you can blame Bush,
- 7:35Speaker 1: you can blame President Trump has pointed that out. Every
- 7:38Speaker 1: president just kicked the can down the road. Time to
- 7:41Speaker 1: do something about it, Vincent, great call, Thanks for calling.
- 7:44Speaker 1: It's forty seven years later after those hostages were taken.
- 7:48Speaker 1: But fuf and again Iran was this much of a
- 7:52Speaker 1: threat in the Reagan days, but then they went on
- 7:54Speaker 1: to be the biggest sponsors of terrorism in the world,
- 7:57Speaker 1: from hesbela Hamast hoodies and all of Hey, Michael Goodwin,
- 8:02Speaker 1: there was no column yesterday. Always look forward to that
- 8:05Speaker 1: Sunday Michael Goodwin column. But he took Easter off. But
- 8:07Speaker 1: we'll get a column for you because he'll be with
- 8:10Speaker 1: us next on seven to ten. W O. R.
