- 0:27Hey everybody, good morning from the chicken coop as I sit out
- 0:32here with all my pretty ladies all around me and everybody's
- 0:35got a lot to say this morning. So today we have a wonderful
- 0:41quote from the most optimistic and one of the best I I think
- 0:47motivational people that ever walked the planet Zig Ziglar.
- 0:51And the quote is positive thinking will let you do
- 0:54everything better than negative thinking will.
- 0:57Now, I know that this is a sensitive topic with some people
- 1:01because they don't want to just be in the state of positivity.
- 1:04They just want to talk about the fact of what's wrong and they
- 1:06focus on what's wrong. And it's their Their ideal is
- 1:11I'm being a realist and I sit there and I say, well, that is
- 1:15one way to think of it. However, he's right in the sense
- 1:18that if you approach everything with a positive mindset.
- 1:23Meaning I look at every single situation and I work through how
- 1:27can I see the good in this. How can I find the the gold?
- 1:31What can I mine for? What can I learn?
- 1:33How can I think of this creatively?
- 1:35You run through your list of questions that will help you
- 1:39stay in a lighter mindset, the positive mindset.
- 1:43So I, I, I also like to think of it as the dark side and the
- 1:46light side of it. So if you're on the light side,
- 1:48you're having the positive thoughts, and if you're on the
- 1:49dark side, you're having the heavier thoughts, but.
- 1:53People will say to me, well, I don't know, I get stuck and
- 1:55sometimes I can't get out of it. And I think, you know, there is
- 1:58a very old school technique with this where a couple of them
- 2:02actually, that can help you. One of them is simply wearing a
- 2:07rubber band or a white string of some sort tied to your.
- 2:11Wrist doesn't matter what wrist, just as long as you can see it.
- 2:14And when you look down at it, you are reminded to think
- 2:17positively, Think on the light side.
- 2:19Remember that you have an intention.
- 2:22You tie their string on with the intention that that is what
- 2:25you're going to focus on and magically it helps you stay in
- 2:29that vein. Another great tool is to have a
- 2:32little card, like a business size card in your wallet, in
- 2:36your pocket, laminated. For years I actually did this.
- 2:39I had a little laminated card that I had made for myself that
- 2:42had all kinds of positive questions on it that I could
- 2:45pull out when I was in a negative state of mind because I
- 2:47wasn't capable of thinking of them on my own.
- 2:50So take the little card out and then I would read through them
- 2:54and it would give me great little tools and helped me out.
- 2:59The advent of the beautiful electronic devices that we carry
- 3:03around with us, that allow me to record this for you and
- 3:05everything else has. Change that a little bit.
- 3:08For me, I prefer to have things recorded in my own voice, in a
- 3:12positive tone, talking to myself and then listening back to them
- 3:15when I need it. It's probably my favorite tool.
- 3:18I have to admit that other than reading and visual stuff to
- 3:22like, look at, you know, mind maps and treasure maps and you
- 3:26know all that good stuff. Is using the voice memos to
- 3:30record little things to yourself so that you can listen back to
- 3:33them. Because who's better to be in
- 3:35charge of you than you? And when you listen back, it
- 3:38actually helps you shift into a better state quicker because
- 3:41your brain believes your voice to be true.
- 3:43So highly encourage you to create some of those for
- 3:47yourself and have some of these tools because everything that
- 3:50you approach can be shifted into a better state of mind.
- 3:56You know, breaking down bigger tasks into smaller tasks and
- 3:59then celebrating the winds instead of just looking at oh I
- 4:02got I'm not going to be done with this.
- 4:03It's such a big task. There's so many things it and it
- 4:07works. I I do it every day for my own
- 4:10things. And I promise you, when you
- 4:12approach it this way and you take it on in a strategy that
- 4:16allows you to have the little winds along the way, you will be
- 4:19profoundly. Surprised by how quickly you can
- 4:23shift and feel better. And remember, it doesn't take
- 4:26much to get out of those negative states.
- 4:28It just takes an effort and a strategy, consistency and doing
- 4:33it little by little, bit by bit. And then magic happens.
- 4:36And that's what we're looking for.
- 4:37We're looking to create the magic.
- 4:39So remember what he said. Remember the quote.
- 4:43Remember the fact that it is. Absolutely.
- 4:47Without question, positive thinking will let you do
- 4:50everything better than negative thinking will, because you're
- 4:53going to find and attract and be in a more abundant state.
- 4:59In a more positive state, you will always make things more.
- 5:04Just productive for yourself. Just a greater outcome.
- 5:09So I hope you guys have a very blessed day.
- 5:11And I hope that you let go of your negative thinking.
- 5:14And I hope that you find that way to the positive, lighter
- 5:17side. All right, my friends, I'll talk
- 5:19to you tomorrow. Bye.
