Transcript
- 0:01[SPEAKER_01]: Welcome to the Mile High Huddle Podcast with your football priests, Chad Jensen and Zach Kilmer.
- 0:08[SPEAKER_01]: Remember, Broncos Country is not a geographic location.
- 0:12[SPEAKER_01]: It's a state of being.
- 0:16[SPEAKER_02]: Welcome in everybody.
- 0:18[SPEAKER_02]: My on-hand hurdle podcast, the aftermath episode this week.
- 0:21[SPEAKER_02]: I'm your host Chad Jensen with me.
- 0:23[SPEAKER_02]: My fellow football priest, you know him.
- 0:25[SPEAKER_02]: You love him, Zach, Kelmer, and Zach.
- 0:27[SPEAKER_02]: The Denver Broncos are now winners of sixth straight.
- 0:32[SPEAKER_02]: And it just so happens that when it comes to the AFC playoff picture.
- 0:37[SPEAKER_02]: Broncos at seven and two currently are tied for the best record in the AFC, but they're in the three C behind the cults, the Patriots, and their current playoff probability according to the league itself 90%.
- 0:52[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, the Broncos for right now are in the driver's seat chat.
- 0:55[SPEAKER_04]: They control their own destiny as long as they keep winning games, especially Thursday, a team they should beat in the Raiders and tough matchup against the Chiefs after that.
- 1:04[SPEAKER_04]: But if they can win those two games and start to create separation in the AFC West, then it's fate accompli that they'll be in the postseason.
- 1:11[SPEAKER_02]: So here's a look at this boys and girls.
- 1:16[SPEAKER_02]: behind the Broncos and the three seed you have the Steelers at four, but look at their playoff probability 60% and you have the bills at five, 93% which is actually better than the current division leader.
- 1:29[SPEAKER_02]: So the league likes buffalo's remaining schedule.
- 1:34[SPEAKER_02]: I think a bit better than the Patriots.
- 1:36[SPEAKER_02]: Then the six seed is currently the Chargers who's at suffered another brutal
- 1:46[SPEAKER_02]: left tackles.
- 1:47[SPEAKER_02]: And then the Jaguars at seven.
- 1:49[SPEAKER_02]: That's the AFC and on the bubble are the chiefs who are five and four, 68% probability.
- 1:55[SPEAKER_02]: It's still very good chances.
- 1:57[SPEAKER_02]: So they can still kind of control their path here.
- 2:00[SPEAKER_02]: The Texans, who the Broncos just vanquished, they're at 27% then you get into the real dim stuff.
- 2:05[SPEAKER_02]: So and then real quick, just to be
- 2:08[SPEAKER_02]: cover all the bases, eagles are the one seed bucks in the NFC, C Hawks 3, Packers 4, Ram's 5, 9 or 6 lines, 7, but don't look now, Zach, you've got some unlikely cats there at eight and nine in the bears and the Panthers, kind of interesting that they're right on the bubble with one of which is a second year quarterback and or yes, second year and then the Panthers still with a young quarterback they're developing.
- 2:33[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, those were two of the crazier games that took place yesterday.
- 2:36[SPEAKER_04]: You know, in addition to the Broncos game, Caleb Williams versus Joe Flacco, and then Bryce Young, beating the Packers at Green Bay.
- 2:44[SPEAKER_04]: So yeah, the NFC's pretty up in the air.
- 2:46[SPEAKER_04]: We know the best teams in the AFC and right now chat, the Broncos are one of those best teams.
- 2:52[SPEAKER_02]: Fills good, baby.
- 2:53[SPEAKER_02]: It feels good, no doubt about it.
- 2:57[SPEAKER_02]: We got some stuff to get into tonight when we were, well, first of all, some quick halos.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_02]: Pop a bear.
- 3:03[SPEAKER_02]: What's going on, Big Dog?
- 3:04[SPEAKER_02]: It's great to see you.
- 3:05[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you so much for the support and for being a member.
- 3:08[SPEAKER_02]: He says, good evening, Broncos Country, 13 of 4 plus plus plus is 14 in 3 possible.
- 3:15[SPEAKER_02]: Zach, can you see with what remains of this schedule?
- 3:17[SPEAKER_02]: You got to face the cheese twice, the chargers again.
- 3:21[SPEAKER_02]: Tough matchups, one on the road, one at home against the commanders and packers.
- 3:25[SPEAKER_02]: Could you see the Broncos losing only one more game?
- 3:28[SPEAKER_04]: I'll say David what I've been saying all the long, especially coming out of that Dallas game and the fourth quarter of the Philly game.
- 3:35[SPEAKER_04]: If the Broncos play to their full potential, there is not a team in the NFL that they cannot be.
- 3:41[SPEAKER_04]: So is it possible?
- 3:43[SPEAKER_04]: Absolutely.
- 3:43[SPEAKER_04]: They can go 14 and 3.
- 3:45[SPEAKER_04]: Is it likely?
- 3:46[SPEAKER_04]: I'm not so sure.
- 3:47[SPEAKER_04]: They've been scraping by by the skin of their teeth.
- 3:49[SPEAKER_04]: You can argue they've gotten lucky.
- 3:50[SPEAKER_04]: They've been pulling victories out of the jaws of defeat as we
- 3:57[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know what that's going to happen, but it's, it's, there's a non-zero chance, put it that way.
- 4:02[SPEAKER_02]: David Young can jump in as well, a dear member and superstar, great to have you buddy, says I enjoyed the old school defensive battle.
- 4:09[SPEAKER_02]: A lot of people didn't or don't, but that's the difference between being older and young.
- 4:15[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, the NFL Zach, they want the scoring, they want the yardage, they want the points.
- 4:20[SPEAKER_02]: But I think most fans of the team, like fans at large, generally speaking, that's what they want to see.
- 4:26[SPEAKER_02]: It's where the a lot of the excitement comes from, but I think Broncos fans for the most part.
- 4:32[SPEAKER_02]: They don't really care too much how it looks, they just want that dub.
- 4:37[SPEAKER_04]: And that's how it should be.
- 4:38[SPEAKER_04]: Whether the game is at 100 to 99, the final score, or three to two, as long as the Broncos get these W's, style points don't matter in the NFL.
- 4:47[SPEAKER_02]: Sandbam, fresh off of the Texas sweep, jumping in, great to see one of our super chat superstars and dear members.
- 4:55[SPEAKER_02]: He says, even in guys, another gritty win for the Broncos yesterday.
- 4:58[SPEAKER_02]: I had a blast at the game despite being stressed for most of it.
- 5:03[SPEAKER_02]: Energy Stadium was mostly orange yesterday, 72 go Broncos, yeah, dude.
- 5:08[SPEAKER_02]: It really jumped out to me, Zach, when Will Lutz hit the game winner.
- 5:15[SPEAKER_02]: It wasn't that the stadium all of a sudden, of course, goes off, but not in booze and like, you know, it's jeering.
- 5:21[SPEAKER_02]: It was Broncos fans cheering that they just won the game kind of crazy.
- 5:28[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, that's exactly how I knew the kick was good.
- 5:30[SPEAKER_04]: I wasn't looking at the television and admittedly chat.
- 5:32[SPEAKER_04]: I'm a little superstitious during the games.
- 5:34[SPEAKER_04]: I'm not going to lie.
- 5:35[SPEAKER_04]: Same as when I was in attendance for the Giants game.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_04]: I knew the Broncos won by the roar of the crowd.
- 5:40[SPEAKER_04]: And that's a rogue game.
- 5:41[SPEAKER_04]: It's pretty crazy.
- 5:42[SPEAKER_02]: That it is.
- 5:42[SPEAKER_02]: But Sam, how cool for you, man?
- 5:44[SPEAKER_02]: Back to back Broncos games, making the state of Texas sweep dude so cool.
- 5:50[SPEAKER_02]: Cohen, what's good buddy?
- 5:51[SPEAKER_02]: Great to see another great member and superstar in the house.
- 5:57[SPEAKER_02]: 2 p.m. mountain time 4 p.m. Eastern.
- 6:00[SPEAKER_02]: So he says, so if we trade for someone like water, do they automatically become the wide receiver too, feels obvious, but not at the same time.
- 6:10[SPEAKER_02]: Also, Zack, why not sold on traffic on this evening?
- 6:15[SPEAKER_02]: Troy Franklin, yeah.
- 6:18[SPEAKER_04]: Colin the answer of these his hands.
- 6:20[SPEAKER_04]: He has all the talent in the world and I still would like to give him a shot I'm not saying trade him.
- 6:25[SPEAKER_04]: I'm not saying Bencham.
- 6:27[SPEAKER_04]: He brings a lot to the offense and he had the prior chemistry with Bonix But I not corolland Sutton for the same thing or Marvin Mims or whoever drops passes you have to squeeze the football and more often than not Troy Franklin was a little
- 6:42[SPEAKER_04]: too short too far in the route and what office fingertips he's missing too many catchable balls and that goes for every one of the brocos receiving course so I'm sold for the most part but not fully quite yet.
- 6:54[SPEAKER_02]: It's almost like for Troy obviously from his rookie year till this year you can seize that.
- 7:01[SPEAKER_02]: The game has slowed down for him.
- 7:03[SPEAKER_02]: You're seeing that with most of Denver second year guys.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_02]: But I don't think it has fully slowed to the point that it's going to be maybe even this time next year.
- 7:13[SPEAKER_02]: You can still see things are moving a bit fast.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_02]: But for the most part, I'm proud of what he's done.
- 7:18[SPEAKER_02]: I'd like to see him be as productive against man coverage as he's been this season against zone.
- 7:23[SPEAKER_02]: But he's just not game-changer, you know, he's not a game-changer.
- 7:28[SPEAKER_02]: Waddle could be, but what would you have to give up to get him?
- 7:32[SPEAKER_02]: I'd rather see how Troy Franklin continues to develop.
- 7:36[SPEAKER_02]: Keep bringing Marvin Mimzelong, Pat Bryant, Evan Ingraham, as we saw yesterday's act, is mostly being wasted on this offense.
- 7:45[SPEAKER_02]: So they have horses that they're not fully utilizing offensively to this point in the season.
- 7:52[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, and Colon's answer to the question directly, if they make any acquisition, whether it's Chris O'Lave or Ashichi, or Jalen Waddle, I think they would become the wider receiver too.
- 8:01[SPEAKER_04]: You can't give up the draft capital, make the move, send the kind of message to the locker room that you would be sending and bench that guy and make him the wider receiver three or wider receiver four.
- 8:10[SPEAKER_04]: So I could make the case either way, four or against a trade.
- 8:13[SPEAKER_04]: I still think it's unlikely and like Chad said, they'll keep investing in the receivers they already have.
- 8:18[SPEAKER_02]: Heude Collins in the house.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_02]: Heude, what's going on, big dog, great to see you.
- 8:22[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you for the super chat.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_02]: Want to invite you, become a member on YouTube, but we need you in the inner circle.
- 8:28[SPEAKER_02]: He says, evening, y'all, great pod.
- 8:30[SPEAKER_02]: Curious why you seem down on Troy Franklin without him, we lose versus the giants that deflected touchdown and the Houston 2.0 pointer.
- 8:38[SPEAKER_02]: He drops too many, but he's clutch.
- 8:42[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think we're, I'm down on him for what it's worth.
- 8:46[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
- 8:47[SPEAKER_02]: I just think as I just mentioned, I just spent a second there kind of explaining my take on Troy Franklin, but he's progressing nicely.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_02]: That's all I'll say.
- 8:55[SPEAKER_02]: Like, could the Broncos, is there a better option out there to be ostensibly upgraded number two for the Broncos?
- 9:02[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, but at what cost relative to what you already have?
- 9:05[SPEAKER_02]: So I think he'll continue to fill that spot.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_02]: The Broncos are trying really hard Zack for his ascension to be complete this season, but you know, he's on pace for something like 758 hundred yards as a number two receiver in this still kind of lower production passing offense, adding bad.
- 9:23[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I'm not sure we're all this is coming from about how we're down on Troy Franklin if you guys can remind me or us where we said that I like to know, but you can't really be clutch and also drop too many passes it's kind of an oxy moron if he were to squeeze the ball and and be more consistent for Bonix then I would say he's earned that wider receiver to full time spot I just feel like you've always talked about they're trying to force this ascension with Troy Franklin and I'm not sure at times chat that he's up for it.
- 9:52[SPEAKER_02]: Exactly, but I'm I'm stoked for him.
- 9:54[SPEAKER_02]: I'm happy for him.
- 9:56[SPEAKER_02]: I think he'll continue to develop and it's not a huge pressing need in my opinion.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, yes, the Broncos of Dell Zach with some pretty significant drop issues this season, but at the same time, Bonyx himself has struggled quite a lot.
- 10:13[SPEAKER_02]: with the accuracy at times.
- 10:15[SPEAKER_02]: And we saw it yesterday, most obviously Zach that missed out and up opportunity down the seam, the left seam there that ing room who ended up basically not getting anything yesterday.
- 10:27[SPEAKER_02]: But guys, lots more to get to here today first though.
- 10:31[SPEAKER_02]: Listen up, football, full swing.
- 10:33[SPEAKER_02]: It's rocking.

- 12:18[SPEAKER_02]: All right, we go back to the chat here.
- 12:21[SPEAKER_02]: and some face bookers George what's going on buddy great to see it throwing down some stars tonight says good evening all of Broncos country now we go for our next game and this one is important as it's the Raiders Broncos for life and the chase for life hit the thumbs up guys look what i'm about to say guys don't get it twisted and misinterpret and think i'm worried about the Raiders but this matchup i've been kind of dreading a little bit just because
- 12:48[SPEAKER_02]: The Broncos don't have a great track record against Pete Carroll coach teams traditionally and then you throw in Zach the recent history of going against Juno Smith again both those guys it's been in Seattle what we're talking about here right but they've been kind of a dumpster fire they put up some points yesterday Zach how are you feeling about the Raiders it being Raider week on a short week and them as an opponent this week.
- 13:15[SPEAKER_04]: Well, I like Sean Peyton.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_04]: I'm just happy that Brocos are home for this game a short week, a prior-time divisional game, and it'll make it that much more advantageous for Denver.
- 13:24[SPEAKER_04]: But it's a potential trap game for them, too.
- 13:26[SPEAKER_04]: The Raiders are, I think, 2 in 6 now.
- 13:29[SPEAKER_04]: They have nothing to lose on the season chat.
- 13:31[SPEAKER_04]: They would like nothing more than 2 spoil the playoff hopes of their division rival the first place Brocos.
- 13:36[SPEAKER_04]: They cannot Denver play down to this team over look this team starts a prepare for Kansas City or the by week.
- 13:43[SPEAKER_04]: They have to treat this 100% like it's legitimate matchup because the Raiders damn sure will be.
- 13:50[SPEAKER_02]: Ron, it's great to see one of the core members of our community and a dear member.
- 13:56[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you, buddy.
- 13:57[SPEAKER_02]: Taylor Christensen, jumping in.
- 13:59[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you, pal, for the super chat.
- 14:00[SPEAKER_02]: Zach, he says, quoting you, I don't want to squeak by Vegas.
- 14:05[SPEAKER_02]: I want to blow out win.
- 14:07[SPEAKER_02]: Bow in the offense, did struggle.
- 14:08[SPEAKER_02]: But again, against a top defense, I'll take that win.
- 14:12[SPEAKER_02]: Look, I think you'll end up seeing a pretty convincing victory Zack on Thursday night, because both teams are on the short week.
- 14:19[SPEAKER_02]: It's not like it favors one or the other, but Pete Carroll.
- 14:23[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
- 14:23[SPEAKER_02]: I got a lot of respect for him, but he doesn't.
- 14:26[SPEAKER_02]: He seems to have kind of lost his grip on things.
- 14:29[SPEAKER_02]: You know, maybe it's his age.
- 14:31[SPEAKER_02]: He's a lot older than he looks, but you see a blowout coming Thursday night.
- 14:35[SPEAKER_04]: uh you know divisional games are so tough Taylor fortunately the Broncos got off the shnide with that Raiders losing streak they snap that under Sean Payton.
- 14:44[SPEAKER_04]: I think the Broncos are going to win.
- 14:46[SPEAKER_04]: I don't really care about style points although historically the season when they've gotten by an ugly game especially on offense.
- 14:53[SPEAKER_04]: The next game against an inferior team like the the Cowboys on defense or the giants.
- 14:58[SPEAKER_04]: Or the bangles for that matter they've exploded out of it.
- 15:02[SPEAKER_04]: So I look for a comfortable win I don't know though.
- 15:04[SPEAKER_04]: What you define as a blowout win though Multiple score.
- 15:09[SPEAKER_02]: I would say a blowout is three scores or more But I think it's gonna be somewhere right in between like two or three score Broncos win and that's how I'm feeling colon's trying to specify.
- 15:19[SPEAKER_02]: I guess yesterday's party saying you weren't sold on him So that's why we're wondering
- 15:26[SPEAKER_02]: One thing you got to keep in mind, the gut reactions are the gut reactions because we're going straight off the cuff.
- 15:31[SPEAKER_02]: The emotions are running high out.
- 15:33[SPEAKER_02]: It's whether it's a victory, whether it's a loss.
- 15:36[SPEAKER_02]: And then, of course, we get the night to sleep on it, work out our hormones, et cetera, et cetera.
- 15:41[SPEAKER_02]: And here we are.
- 15:42[SPEAKER_02]: You'll always find a little bit calling that the aftermath pods are a little bit more measured than our more emotional kind of weather for better for worse gut reactions.
- 15:53[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I mean, I'll stay true to the take.
- 15:56[SPEAKER_04]: I don't think I was being emotional.
- 15:57[SPEAKER_04]: It's my opinion, he's all the town in the world to be a number two wide receiver, but you can't be a dependable full-time wide receiver to in the NFL by dropping that many passes.
- 16:08[SPEAKER_04]: It's why I go back to the previous comment.
- 16:10[SPEAKER_04]: He's clutched, but he drops too many.
- 16:12[SPEAKER_04]: It's really one or the other.
- 16:13[SPEAKER_04]: If he were to cut out the drops that I would be entirely sold, I'm about 90% there, I just, I don't know though that this opportunity he was ready for.
- 16:22[SPEAKER_04]: all this pressure chat.
- 16:25[SPEAKER_02]: Indeed, indeed.
- 16:26[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I don't know that he was expecting necessarily to be the number two guy like that was Devon Valle and then they traded him.
- 16:34[SPEAKER_02]: It's like we're trading him because we're ready for you big dog.
- 16:37[SPEAKER_02]: Hope you're ready.
- 16:38[SPEAKER_02]: And I think he's done.
- 16:40[SPEAKER_02]: I've modestly good job at trying to answer that Bell, but things are still you can tell a little bit fast for moving a little bit fast he'll get there Chris Bell jumping in on super chat you'd great to see you thank you for the support and for being a member big dog said just catch in the ball is key the big drops make me nervous, especially with the chiefs right around the corner and then coming off the by week.
- 17:03[SPEAKER_02]: and the record they carry after a buy.
- 17:05[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, much will be made Zach of Andy Reeds post buy record as always.
- 17:14[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, but again, just like we saw last year, the Broncos should have beaten the chiefs at Arrowhead.
- 17:19[SPEAKER_04]: I know I harp on that a lot, but Bowniks really outdooled my homes in that second half, the Broncos defense came in a play.
- 17:24[SPEAKER_04]: So again, Chris, if they just played full four quarters to their fullest extent, they can be Kansas City.
- 17:30[SPEAKER_04]: They can run the table, as we were talking about earlier.
- 17:34[SPEAKER_02]: Chris, dude.
- 17:34[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you, buddy.
- 17:35[SPEAKER_02]: Really appreciate you.
- 17:36[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm looking forward to this year's Chiefs matchups.
- 17:39[SPEAKER_02]: That is for sure.
- 17:40[SPEAKER_02]: Pro 16, a deer member says when it comes to bow, the mistakes will work themselves out.
- 17:46[SPEAKER_02]: All that matters is winning.
- 17:48[SPEAKER_02]: L.A. said there are no ugly wins or pretty losses, just results and I agree.
- 17:53[SPEAKER_02]: Excellent point there.
- 17:55[SPEAKER_02]: And that's, you know, it's kind of like what Zach and I were saying after yesterday's game about.
- 18:00[SPEAKER_02]: let bobe bow relative to the rushing and all that stuff and let them kind of move around and stuff is you know, Sean Payton's got to remember he's not Drew Breeze and by that I don't mean he doesn't have it in him to be as good as Drew Breeze someday or as productive.
- 18:17[SPEAKER_02]: What I simply mean is he's not a finished product yet.
- 18:20[SPEAKER_02]: Bonus is still ripening on the vine, but he's ripening all the same and Broncos that are a lot farther along.
- 18:27[SPEAKER_02]: then I expected them to be when they drafted bone next.
- 18:30[SPEAKER_02]: I thought what we saw last year was going to be what we got this year.
- 18:34[SPEAKER_02]: They're way ahead of the curve.
- 18:36[SPEAKER_02]: And not only that, I mean, what are they?
- 18:38[SPEAKER_02]: So
- 18:39[SPEAKER_02]: 17 and nine is that is that the record of the Sean Peyton bone-next partnership up to this point in the NFL It's pretty dang good, but we got to keep it in perspective Zach.
- 18:50[SPEAKER_02]: He's only still a second-year guy So as much as we want to see perfection as much as we want to kind of think back to how Automatic and easy things seemed back during the Peyton Manning hey, they are the tail end of the L-way era He's not there quite yet
- 19:07[SPEAKER_04]: And even when Drew Breeze was a first or second year player, there's just two different quarterbacks, man.
- 19:12[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know that Bowenix will ever be as accurate as Drew Breeze was and I don't know that Drew Breeze.
- 19:17[SPEAKER_04]: Well, I know that for a fact, Drew Breeze was never as athletic as Bowenix is as a dual threat as a running quarterback.
- 19:24[SPEAKER_04]: So really Sean Peyton has to take the ego and pride out of the equation, commit to the ground game and dial up past plays that benefit Bowenix, not do him into service like all the screen passes.
- 19:36[SPEAKER_02]: BNS is in the, is he great to see a big dog and this is one of those times where your hashtag all pro bowls, I mean, it's looking like reality dude has has been the best left tackle in the NFL, especially as a past blocker, but I think he's just as good as a run blocker, but he says does BNS pardon me, no sacks, no penalties, if you press.
- 20:01[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not sure what that means, but pressures, pressures.
- 20:03[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you, few pressures, all probals.
- 20:05[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, dude, let me quote from, thank you for the context.
- 20:10[SPEAKER_02]: Please, my friend, from Eric's grades came out today.
- 20:15[SPEAKER_02]: And, you know, he's charting things.
- 20:18[SPEAKER_02]: Going snap by snap looking at all 11 guys and on the subject of let me find him garables was deemed the Offensive MVP of yesterday's game Talonola who found it was the defensive MVP with a 91.3 grade Bulls with the 78.6 trickle quote another game of bulls playing at an elite level and against a tough pair of past rusher's that's for sure
- 20:44[SPEAKER_02]: he allowed two pressures on the day, bringing his season total, his season total to seven pressures.
- 20:51[SPEAKER_02]: So, and of course, he did a good job creating running lanes that.
- 20:55[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, this is our old friend, the the bull's new service and I'll give you this BNS.
- 21:00[SPEAKER_04]: I'm ready to say uncle, I think on Garrett bull's, at least for this season.
- 21:04[SPEAKER_04]: The protector of the year award is debuting this season and I think Garrett bull's to be fair should be a top contender for it.
- 21:09[SPEAKER_04]: He's been that good and he has been all pro calibre.
- 21:12[SPEAKER_04]: I give him all the credit
- 21:15[SPEAKER_02]: No doubt, so happy to see it big dog and happy to see you.
- 21:19[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you, B&S.
- 21:20[SPEAKER_02]: My brother, you've been with us a long time.
- 21:24[SPEAKER_02]: We got massive love for this whole line.
- 21:26[SPEAKER_02]: Botanix has now been sacked just nine times this season.
- 21:31[SPEAKER_02]: And we don't have the, I haven't seen the game capsule yet.
- 21:35[SPEAKER_02]: But what was that third fewest?
- 21:38[SPEAKER_02]: going into a week eight or a week nine part of me I want to say so I mean this offensive line being as has been excellent and Alex Paltchewski credit to him at left guard because he had a bug you know he wasn't feeling well he could have begged off but he ended up playing they had him here's your own water bottle so no one else drinks this and catches whatever you've gotten he went out there and played and it wasn't his best performance since he's been at left guard but
- 22:06[SPEAKER_04]: No, and that's a really good defense they went up against and maybe I didn't give them enough credit Houston going into this game, but they are 1,000 percent legitimate.
- 22:15[SPEAKER_04]: So shout out to Palcio, shout out to Bowles, the front five was immaculate yesterday.
- 22:20[SPEAKER_02]: And by the way, Quinn minors, whatever was eaten at him to start the season, he talked about what was it two weeks ago, how he had something going on.
- 22:30[SPEAKER_02]: and his personal life or that he wanted, not his personal life, but he wanted to keep private that he's ostensibly now passed.
- 22:39[SPEAKER_02]: And dude, like his last three games have been straight up all pro caliber back to true form for Quinn Miners.
- 22:46[SPEAKER_02]: Rock brings up how Brock Bowers that had three touchdown catches yesterday against the Jacksonville Jaguars, which, you know, you see that, you know, you start feeling a little nervous, but let me read you something.
- 22:58[SPEAKER_02]: So Drake Greenlaw, he's back in the saddle, he played his second game as a Bronco yesterday and finished with one of the highest grades on the team 87.6.
- 23:08[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to quote Eric here.
- 23:10[SPEAKER_02]: Denver made getting green law in the offseason, a priority in his place speaks for itself.
- 23:16[SPEAKER_02]: While he's been limited in the two games he's played, 48 total snaps between the two games.
- 23:22[SPEAKER_02]: He's picked up two pressures on four blitzes, 13 tackles.
- 23:26[SPEAKER_02]: You got one sack to remember for a no, uh, I think it was a no game sack.
- 23:31[SPEAKER_02]: And he has not allowed zack a single target to be cut.
- 23:38[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, rock, my, my reaction was kind of based on what you have is saying there if Drake Greenlaw will be covering Brock Bowers, I'm not that afraid of the matchup considering how poor Juno Smith looks at quarterback this season, but if Alex Singleton happens to be on Brock Bowers, then I will be clenching my, you know, what throughout the game.
- 23:59[SPEAKER_04]: We just have to hope that Vijay schemes around him.
- 24:01[SPEAKER_04]: We have to hope the pressure is consistent, Chad, because it doesn't matter who they
- 24:08[SPEAKER_02]: And yeah, David Barron, they used him not the entire time, but they used him in certain packages to match up with the Ferguson, the Cowboys tight end.
- 24:19[SPEAKER_02]: You didn't see it so much like that yesterday.
- 24:22[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know, I think VJ is kind of, and again, I guess one thing to keep in mind is you had PS2 for at least a good chunk of that game against the Cowboys.
- 24:31[SPEAKER_02]: So I don't know how much is absence.
- 24:33[SPEAKER_02]: uh, uh, impacted him not necessarily shadowing what's his name.
- 24:39[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, shoulders tight tight and yesterday.
- 24:41[SPEAKER_02]: Shoals.
- 24:43[SPEAKER_02]: Shoals girls.
- 24:44[SPEAKER_02]: Um, so we'll see, but, um, really, really impressed by Baron up to this point and honestly,
- 24:52[SPEAKER_02]: Pastor Tan said something on his podcast.
- 24:54[SPEAKER_02]: I think we talked we touched on it during the week we wrote about it on this site.
- 24:59[SPEAKER_02]: I can't I'm sure we talked about it, but on closed on Sunday, Zach with Terry and Arnold.
- 25:05[SPEAKER_02]: He was talking about how Riley Moss is put up on by the refs and you know, why do you think you get so many so many penalties and he kind of jokingly is like, you know, basically it's because he's white, you know, etc.
- 25:18[SPEAKER_02]: And just kind of saying it tongue and cheek kind of being joking.
- 25:21[SPEAKER_02]: Well, lo and behold, it's like someone was listening to Zach because guess who did not get a P.I.
- 25:26[SPEAKER_02]: yesterday.
- 25:27[SPEAKER_02]: Right, Moss.
- 25:28[SPEAKER_02]: What that has to be the first game this season that he did need to get a P.I.
- 25:33[SPEAKER_02]: or a defensive holding.
- 25:34[SPEAKER_04]: and guess who looked good for another game at cornerback stepping into a bigger roll with PS2 out, Riley Moss.
- 25:40[SPEAKER_04]: And I tweeted this before the game and I'll say it for the rest of the season for as long as Riley Moss is a Baracko.
- 25:46[SPEAKER_04]: If you want to gauge someone's football IQ, just ask their opinion on Riley Moss.
- 25:52[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, no doubt.
- 25:54[SPEAKER_02]: The other thing I wanted to get your take on here because, of course, when we go live for the gut reaction,
- 26:01[SPEAKER_02]: We're missing most of the time anyway, the post game podium stuff.
- 26:06[SPEAKER_02]: And Sean Peyton, you know, you were saying yesterday yourself, Zach, like, hey, should Darren Rizzi still be this special teams coordinator?
- 26:15[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not so sure.
- 26:17[SPEAKER_02]: Well, when Sean Peyton at the podium yesterday, Zach was asked about special teams in the block kick,
- 26:24[SPEAKER_02]: In my opinion, he definitely was putting Darren Rizzi on notice with what I'm about to read.
- 26:30[SPEAKER_02]: I'm sure most of you have heard this by this point.
- 26:32[SPEAKER_02]: However, Scott did bring up something to me last night where it's like, well, it's kind of unclear was he kind of aiming his remark toward Rizzi or was it more towards the players?
- 26:43[SPEAKER_02]: But here's what he said asking about the block kick.
- 26:45[SPEAKER_02]: He kind of cuts in and cuts off the question and goes like,
- 26:49[SPEAKER_00]: You'll go obviously, and then yeah, we'll look at that on film, follow that without watching on tape.
- 26:57[SPEAKER_00]: My concern was just the late subs, it was a little bit sloppy.
- 27:03[SPEAKER_00]: In the kicking game, we'll get that cleaned up or we'll find someone else that can do it.
- 27:09[SPEAKER_02]: Or we'll find someone else who can do it, Zach.
- 27:13[SPEAKER_02]: How do you interpret what he said?
- 27:15[SPEAKER_04]: Well, he made those comments kind of outdated already with today's Zoom press conference when he said it's not the coaching the coaching's been outstanding, which I don't understand covering for Darren Rizzi, what that's going to serve him because everyone can see through that chat covering for his boy.
- 27:30[SPEAKER_04]: He was basically throwing the players onto the bus.
- 27:33[SPEAKER_04]: But if he's talking about substitutions in this and that isn't that on the coaching isn't that the core nators job to get them on the field, the right players on the field at the right time, otherwise what is Darren Rizzy do?
- 27:43[SPEAKER_04]: He's another Nathaniel Hackett.
- 27:45[SPEAKER_04]: He just gets a paycheck for knowing the head coach.
- 27:48[SPEAKER_02]: That's definitely Sean Payton in my opinion.
- 27:51[SPEAKER_02]: So here's, here's exactly what he said today on the conference call on his concerns regarding special teams to Scott's point to me last night.
- 27:59[SPEAKER_02]: Are you directing that at the players or the coaches?
- 28:01[SPEAKER_02]: Quote, I'm referring to players that aren't on the field that need to be.
- 28:06[SPEAKER_02]: Coaching is outstanding.
- 28:08[SPEAKER_02]: We'll get that cleaned up.
- 28:09[SPEAKER_02]: My point is that there are 10 players on the field and they're supposed to be 11.
- 28:13[SPEAKER_02]: Then that player that's supposed to be out there.
- 28:15[SPEAKER_02]: I'll find someone else to do his job.
- 28:18[SPEAKER_02]: So he's definitely trying to reel it in.
- 28:20[SPEAKER_02]: And hey, given the benefit of the doubt, maybe it was just a poach, a poor choice of words yesterday's act and a very unspecific way of saying something because, look, it.
- 28:34[SPEAKER_02]: MHH Broncos on SI, we weren't the only ones who interpreted it as a big time shot at Darren Rizzi.
- 28:40[SPEAKER_02]: So you could see that he was in my opinion, realen it in a little bit there.
- 28:45[SPEAKER_02]: McCail is real.
- 28:45[SPEAKER_02]: What's up?
- 28:46[SPEAKER_02]: Good to see you.
- 28:47[SPEAKER_02]: Coop, what's going on?
- 28:49[SPEAKER_02]: Becoming a member.
- 28:51[SPEAKER_02]: Shout out.
- 28:52[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you.
- 28:53[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, thank you, Michaela.
- 28:54[SPEAKER_04]: Good to see you.
- 28:55[SPEAKER_04]: I just want to put a bow on the special team is a conversation for a second chat.
- 28:59[SPEAKER_04]: I was looking through the postgame notes and quotes that we get.
- 29:03[SPEAKER_04]: And the team reported that JT Gray made his Broncos debut yesterday.
- 29:08[SPEAKER_04]: And if you guys recall, JT Gray was the all-pro special teamer, the Broncos signed a former scene.
- 29:14[SPEAKER_04]: So he was playing most of the Broncos personnel moves the the 53 man roster moves they've made have been with special teams in mind.
- 29:22[SPEAKER_04]: So how was that still on the players at what point is this on there in Rizzi considering most of the same personnel was in place last season and then Kawika got by just fine.
- 29:32[SPEAKER_02]: Well, the coaching has been outstanding really let's just take one simple case study.
- 29:39[SPEAKER_02]: and go back to week two, the leverage penalty.
- 29:42[SPEAKER_02]: Now, we can sit here and agonize back and forth over whether the Broncos were being unfairly kind of punish there by the refs.
- 29:52[SPEAKER_02]: And you see a leverage type of play on almost all the kicks, yada yada yada.
- 29:56[SPEAKER_02]: And Rizzi made sure to kind of point that out when he was reacting to it later in that following week.
- 30:03[SPEAKER_02]: But listen to if you guys think back to, I forget the lineman's name, that Colts lineman, who noticed this tendency of the Broncos on tape, not historical Broncos, Darren Rizzi, so dating back to Saints tape, certain tendencies with certain types of kicks.
- 30:24[SPEAKER_02]: And he guessed right and he kind of baited Don Drake Tillman into what happened.
- 30:32[SPEAKER_02]: If you're that obvious that to where they can pick out the tendencies and anticipate in the critical moment, it literally cost you the game, that's one, I could right now list off three or four others just off the top of my head.
- 30:44[SPEAKER_02]: They don't point to player, I mean, maybe it's not right to say that don't point to players, but rather where it's not just player execution, it's clearly coaching, whether it's communication technique, whatever, I mean, even the Marvin Mims thing last week.
- 31:01[SPEAKER_02]: which he fell on that sword, but almost cost him a game yesterday when you had a bandie fumble and give the Texan three points.
- 31:09[SPEAKER_04]: I'm so glad you brought that up.
- 31:11[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, we never really actually got an explanation as to why Sean Peyton fired Bencott Week and hired Darren Rizzi, beyond the fact that he knew Rizzi, but we can assume it was either the Chiefs Gaff with four slight last season, the Tramon Smith play against the chargers, but even then that's only two.
- 31:26[SPEAKER_04]: Darren Rizzi, as you mentioned, Chad has already had at least three mess ups.
- 31:31[SPEAKER_04]: I almost said a bad word there, and he still has a job.
- 31:34[SPEAKER_04]: So how is it outstanding?
- 31:35[SPEAKER_04]: Like you're saying there,
- 31:39[SPEAKER_02]: Sean Peyton realized last night, probably wasn't too aware of what he was saying in the moment, but he was at least probably cognizant enough to be expressing his displeasure at two major special teams' gaps.
- 31:56[SPEAKER_02]: I would throw three in with that one punt return.
- 31:58[SPEAKER_02]: basically gave countered for one of those Texans field goals.
- 32:03[SPEAKER_02]: And then he probably, you know, got home, someone probably fed him a couple of articles today because they pay attention to this stuff.
- 32:10[SPEAKER_02]: And he went, oh man, it's a bad look for a seven and two team and winners of six to have the head coach saying anything that calls one of his coordinators out on the carpet.
- 32:21[SPEAKER_02]: This ain't good.
- 32:23[SPEAKER_02]: I got to walk it back.
- 32:24[SPEAKER_02]: Now, do I know that for a
- 32:28[SPEAKER_02]: speculation on why we got him today, specifically castigating the players, blaming the players, Zack, and saying that Darren Rizzi's coaching has been, as you mentioned, outstanding.
- 32:40[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I mean, there are winners of six straight now, but there might not be winners of seven, or might not be a winner of eight, or whatever, if they don't correct the special teams issues, it's only a matter of time before Darren Rizzi cost the Broncos another game.
- 32:52[SPEAKER_02]: He is Rizzi, a patent guy,
- 32:58[SPEAKER_02]: It's kind of weird how bad it's been this year's act because he was a coveted guy in terms of the coaching cycle, the Saints genuinely thought about hiring him as the head coach because he was the interim guy after they fired Dennis Allen.
- 33:12[SPEAKER_02]: I it's one of the developments this year that has been the most surprising whether positive or negative surprises.
- 33:17[SPEAKER_02]: I'm just saying generally did not expect special teams to be taking multiple steps backward and when.
- 33:24[SPEAKER_02]: And you're in this many close games.
- 33:26[SPEAKER_02]: And the NFL, that's kind of how it goes, right?
- 33:29[SPEAKER_02]: The close game thing, that's what it is.
- 33:34[SPEAKER_02]: You can't afford to have your special teams not be on point.
- 33:37[SPEAKER_04]: It's a game of inches.
- 33:38[SPEAKER_04]: It really is.
- 33:39[SPEAKER_04]: It's not just a cliche and you can't give the other team those inches or feet in this case literally and figuratively by those gaps on special teams again.
- 33:47[SPEAKER_04]: It's only a matter of time before this winning streak comes crashing down because of Darren Rizzi.
- 33:54[SPEAKER_02]: The observation that Riley Moss was not penalized yesterday and how no early that was Mr. producer dug it up Moss before yesterday Moss had at least one penalty often multiple in a game right, but at least one penalty in six of the preceding seven games.
- 34:13[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm I'm telling you, I think it had something to do with what Sir Tans said, even though
- 34:24[SPEAKER_02]: even if it wasn't out of like paranoia that the NFL refs don't want to be perceived as profiling anybody.
- 34:31[SPEAKER_02]: The fact that it called into focus how off-kilter, the number of penalties had been directed at him specifically.
- 34:40[SPEAKER_02]: And they're kind of like, okay, that doesn't look good.
- 34:42[SPEAKER_02]: We need to pull it back.
- 34:43[SPEAKER_02]: I think that had something to do with Riley Moss, going to full game without getting called anything.
- 34:51[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, even when PS2's inactive, he's still making plays for the Broncos defense.
- 34:55[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know that it's racial profiling, so much as just profiling, Riley Moss, as the whipping boy on the other side of the defensive player of the year.
- 35:04[SPEAKER_04]: I don't think Cooper Dijon in Philadelphia, Chad is getting as many penalties as Riley Moss.
- 35:09[SPEAKER_04]: Dijon is also white, so it's just a Broncos issue, I think.
- 35:13[SPEAKER_02]: And they're both go Nick, Iowa, both Hawkeye for what it's worth.
- 35:22[SPEAKER_02]: uh... we got the mile high dutch in the house and both said himself during the presser doesn't matter how the broncos win it is preparing them for the playoffs and it's preparing them frankly Albert for payoffs as well payoffs equal playoffs for vice versa but yet that is something he talked about that and honestly that it dates back to
- 35:47[SPEAKER_02]: I think the Philadelphia game, but then it just was exacerbated in the best sense of the word.
- 35:53[SPEAKER_02]: With that 33 point come back against the giants, they believe they can accomplish anything now.
- 35:58[SPEAKER_02]: There is no mountain high enough that they can't overcome and some it like this team is fully believing.
- 36:05[SPEAKER_02]: So even if it's ugly and he even said, you know, it hasn't looked good at times, we believe we can still get it done regardless of the situation.
- 36:12[SPEAKER_04]: They're tied.
- 36:13[SPEAKER_04]: The Broncos are for the most fourth quarter come back wins in the NFL and the most fourth quarter points in the NFL.
- 36:20[SPEAKER_04]: If they could just figure out the offense from quarters one through three, they are going to be damn near unstoppable.
- 36:26[SPEAKER_04]: And that's not a homeristic take.
- 36:29[SPEAKER_02]: Here comes Chase.
- 36:30[SPEAKER_02]: Good to see one of our members that bringing up this Thursday night game says I say this every year, the Raiders play the Broncos harder than they play any other team.
- 36:40[SPEAKER_02]: It's their super bowl every year.
- 36:42[SPEAKER_02]: It really there's a lot of truth to that.
- 36:46[SPEAKER_02]: I think it also depends a little bit on the coaches, you know, Gritwin Gruden was the head coach two different stance like he was there long enough and I think also just kind of got it that
- 36:57[SPEAKER_02]: that Bronco rivalry, the history of it meant something to him.
- 37:01[SPEAKER_02]: And so he would get his team up for that, you know, I mean, how many straighted Groot and win before they he stepped down or slash was fired?
- 37:09[SPEAKER_02]: I think it was six or seven of in a row or whatever.
- 37:12[SPEAKER_02]: So he, uh, there was something to what you're seeing.
- 37:15[SPEAKER_02]: Now, will it be the same for Pete Carroll?
- 37:18[SPEAKER_02]: I think so, probably.
- 37:19[SPEAKER_02]: Richard Anderson, we got a new member.
- 37:21[SPEAKER_02]: Welcome to the major home boy.
- 37:23[SPEAKER_02]: We need you.
- 37:24[SPEAKER_02]: We appreciate you.
- 37:26[SPEAKER_04]: Thank you Richard, and yeah, Chase put yourself in the Raiders shoes.
- 37:29[SPEAKER_04]: How many times with the Broncos 2 and 6 or whatever and they were facing a really good chief's team with the opportunity to spoil their playoff seating We all relished in that.
- 37:38[SPEAKER_04]: So yeah, the Raiders are going to be up for this game on prime time in the Broncos house.
- 37:42[SPEAKER_04]: They would want nothing more than suited feet Denver.
- 37:45[SPEAKER_04]: And that's why the Broncos cannot absolutely cannot overlook this game.
- 37:50[SPEAKER_02]: So we have here from one of our dear members, Pearl.
- 37:55[SPEAKER_02]: comment that it might be snowing on Thursday, uh, I don't, is that what she's talking about Thursday?
- 38:06[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
- 38:07[SPEAKER_02]: I ought to look at the, uh, I'll have to look at the weather report on that.
- 38:11[SPEAKER_02]: But, um, let me see here, where we at Timeline's where it, uh,
- 38:16[SPEAKER_02]: 30 minutes.
- 38:17[SPEAKER_02]: We're doing pretty good.
- 38:18[SPEAKER_02]: And blacks in the house, what's up, brother?
- 38:20[SPEAKER_02]: Here to party as always.
- 38:22[SPEAKER_02]: Can we all just be thankful?
- 38:24[SPEAKER_02]: We're not Cowboys fans.
- 38:26[SPEAKER_02]: Zack, you spent some time on that beat.
- 38:29[SPEAKER_02]: How do you, are you glad that you didn't end up staying long enough to get too invested in that club?
- 38:37[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, because it's a perpetual cycle of mediocrity.
- 38:40[SPEAKER_04]: They're never going to be truly horrific enough to get a topic to rebuild.
- 38:45[SPEAKER_04]: Properly, they're never going to be good enough to contend for everything and win anything since for the first time since 1995.
- 38:51[SPEAKER_04]: So, Emblex is correct here.
- 38:53[SPEAKER_04]: That's all be thankful when we cheer for the Broncos.
- 38:56[SPEAKER_02]: They're down 10, nothing on Monday night football.
- 38:59[SPEAKER_02]: So, and I'm pissed because, you know, I use YouTube TV.
- 39:03[SPEAKER_02]: I did away with like direct TV and
- 39:06[SPEAKER_02]: dish and all that stuff a long time ago.
- 39:08[SPEAKER_02]: And so I use YouTube TV and they're currently in some kind of bargaining quarrel with Disney and since ESPN is owned by Disney.
- 39:17[SPEAKER_02]: And he Disney channels currently are not available for like a week.
- 39:21[SPEAKER_02]: It's been maybe less than a week.
- 39:23[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm not able to actually watch that particular game live.
- 39:26[SPEAKER_02]: So thanks for the update there, Emplex.
- 39:29[SPEAKER_02]: Call and the media is making Chris Abrams drain out to be a dirty player for the stroud hit and coach Ryan's fed into it yesterday.
- 39:39[SPEAKER_02]: So annoying.
- 39:40[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't catch what Demiqal Ryan's may have said, Zach.
- 39:44[SPEAKER_02]: But Abram's drain first of all wasn't dirty.
- 39:48[SPEAKER_02]: He had already begun his launch at the quarterback before, you know, these things are flash bang right there boom boom these things happen in synapses firing right and he had already begun to fire when CJ Strago's now came to slide and he did not hit him in the head.
- 40:07[SPEAKER_02]: He hit him in the shoulder.
- 40:08[SPEAKER_02]: and it was his ricochet into the dirt that caused the concussion.
- 40:13[SPEAKER_02]: So I feel for him, I don't think he was dirty.
- 40:15[SPEAKER_02]: I know you're saying it wasn't calling it.
- 40:17[SPEAKER_02]: But how Ryan's maybe was just the bitterness of the disappointment of the loss and losing your quarterback and probably thinking, man, we could have won it if we had our cue, even though I'll say Davis Mills, he played a lot better than I expected him to.
- 40:31[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I'd give the Texans a lot of credit.
- 40:33[SPEAKER_04]: They battled a lot harder than I thought they would after losing strout.
- 40:36[SPEAKER_04]: And it could have been a season ending loss for them.
- 40:38[SPEAKER_04]: Chad, if you look at the standing.
- 40:39[SPEAKER_04]: So I don't really blame Demiko Ryan's for the comments that he made.
- 40:43[SPEAKER_04]: He basically said that it was a dirty hit by a Chris A. from Drain that CJ Stroud was
- 40:48[SPEAKER_04]: Slighting and that it should have been a flag, but we all know how much the NFL hates the Broncos.
- 40:53[SPEAKER_04]: We all know how much NFL referees hate the Broncos.
- 40:56[SPEAKER_04]: The fact that the call unnecessary roughness was overturned by replay says it all.
- 41:01[SPEAKER_04]: It was not a dirty hint.
- 41:02[SPEAKER_04]: It was a bang bang play and it was just a bad place bad time for April strain and CJ Strauss.
- 41:08[SPEAKER_02]: Exactly Brandon so led with this shoulder.
- 41:11[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, Colin that's part of my problem is I go oh, well, I won't watch it on the SPN Let me find ABC The both are owned by Disney, so I was screwed on YouTube TV.
- 41:22[SPEAKER_02]: I want my money back YouTube just kidding It's a rare thing.
- 41:27[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not genuinely displeased with them Okay, Zach couple other things.
- 41:31[SPEAKER_02]: I want to cover today
- 41:38[SPEAKER_02]: Sean Peyton was asked today about trades.
- 41:41[SPEAKER_02]: He said, Hey, do you believe coach that making a trade?
- 41:45[SPEAKER_02]: Would send a message to the team that you're all in?
- 41:49[SPEAKER_02]: He said, Well, we would never make a trade to send a message to the team.
- 41:54[SPEAKER_02]: So whoever asked that, you know, he was he gave him the Peyton, you know, slam there.
- 41:59[SPEAKER_02]: Everyone in the locker room, our players coaches management front office knows that we're all in to win.
- 42:04[SPEAKER_02]: The trade would take place, this supposed trade.
- 42:08[SPEAKER_02]: If we found value in something that could help us period, that's it.
- 42:11[SPEAKER_02]: We're not looking to send a message, what do you make of it?
- 42:16[SPEAKER_04]: Sounds like something a person sending a message would say, Chad, but not on the real.
- 42:20[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know that they're actually going to make a trade before tomorrow's deadline.
- 42:24[SPEAKER_04]: If it could happen, anything's possible.
- 42:27[SPEAKER_04]: I think anyone, the broadcast would be interested in, someone like Alave or J.L.
- 42:31[SPEAKER_04]: and Waddle, they're going to be just too expensive for what the broadcast wanted to do, and they'll commit to the likes of Troy Franklin and Pat Ryan for the remainder of the season.
- 42:39[SPEAKER_02]: So is this breaking news, Mr. producer?
- 42:43[SPEAKER_02]: The Titans, according to Adam Shepter, are sending Drainmont Jones.
- 42:48[SPEAKER_02]: Everybody remembers the former Broncos third ground pick.
- 42:52[SPEAKER_02]: The Titans are sending Jones to the Ravens for a conditional fifth round pick.
- 42:57[SPEAKER_02]: So he's going from garbage town in terms of just how bad that football team is act to slightly less garbage town.
- 43:07[SPEAKER_02]: The injury bug has decimated the Ravens' chances this year.
- 43:10[SPEAKER_02]: Although they're not eliminated, Lamar's back all that stuff.
- 43:13[SPEAKER_02]: They still got a chance.
- 43:15[SPEAKER_02]: Jones, your gut reaction head into Baltimore.
- 43:18[SPEAKER_04]: It sounds like a kind of a desperation move from a Baltimore Raven's team that's just trying to save their season and trying to get any warm body they can.
- 43:26[SPEAKER_04]: I'm so happy the Broncos chose Zach Allen over signing Dreyman Jones Chad Zach Allen will go down as one of the best free-age in signings in Broncos franchise history.
- 43:35[SPEAKER_04]: Dreyman Jones I think will go down as one of the bigger draft bus relative to expectations in recent Broncos history.
- 43:42[SPEAKER_02]: How's dream on?
- 43:44[SPEAKER_02]: I got to I got to check this out.
- 43:45[SPEAKER_02]: How's he been doing this season?
- 43:47[SPEAKER_02]: He's got he started all nine games we saw him in the in the season opener four and a half sacks that surprises me four and a half sacks so he's on pace for threatening double digits his career high was his final year in Denver
- 44:05[SPEAKER_02]: six and a half sacks which actually tied his second year too.
- 44:08[SPEAKER_02]: So he hit six and a half twice as a bronco his career high since leaving Denver's act four and a half and he's tied that so far this season.
- 44:19[SPEAKER_02]: You go, Dremont.
- 44:21[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, wishing well over and Baltimore.
- 44:24[SPEAKER_02]: Two song fill in the his he and guys were getting close to the sign-off so any burning questions, topics,
- 44:35[SPEAKER_02]: checking in on Facebook.
- 44:36[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you, brother.
- 44:37[SPEAKER_02]: He says good evening, Chad Zach and Deacon Scott.
- 44:39[SPEAKER_02]: Time changes kills kills me.
- 44:41[SPEAKER_02]: Hello, well, sorry.
- 44:42[SPEAKER_02]: I'm late.
- 44:43[SPEAKER_02]: Just curious.
- 44:43[SPEAKER_02]: If we have fired, Aaron Rizzi, are we picking up anyone before the trade deadline?
- 44:48[SPEAKER_02]: Buckham, I'm a trade for life on.
- 44:50[SPEAKER_02]: Well, but you'll have to rewind to see all the rizzy scuttle but but I don't think the Broncos are making a trade but been wrong before I don't see it.
- 45:01[SPEAKER_02]: I think they're a pretty good position and you know salary cap.
- 45:06[SPEAKER_02]: They only have a little bit more than five million in current available salary cap space doesn't mean they couldn't make that part of a deal with the team and whatnot, but I don't see it, I don't think they're desperate enough at any position to give up future draft capital sitting at seven and two, but again, been wrong before.
- 45:24[SPEAKER_04]: I think the only trade they would have considered would be something for a blocking tight end number three tight end after losing crawl and Nate Adkins and they filled that spot by signing Marseilles Lewis who Sean Payton Chad was really pleased with in yesterday's game.
- 45:39[SPEAKER_02]: And he did look good, the few snaps that he got, just that tone set, first of all he's good at what he does in that blocking domain.
- 45:49[SPEAKER_02]: But just that physical that energy and that it's just a nice thing
- 45:56[SPEAKER_02]: really it comes down to how much you want to believe that smoke or fire aspect of all the wide receiver talk.
- 46:02[SPEAKER_02]: And I don't think I think it's more smoke than fire, but time will tell here in the near future.
- 46:08[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, the deadlines tomorrow at 2pm mountain time.
- 46:12[SPEAKER_02]: So we'll find out soon, Zach.
