- 0:00Speaker 1: It's the Mark Simone Show, Live from the w R
- 0:03Speaker 1: Life Back studios.
- 0:11Speaker 2: Well, hey, the rain coming to an end today. It
- 0:14Speaker 2: should be a better day. I'd be a little shower later,
- 0:16Speaker 2: but that's about it, and it should be nice tomorrow.
- 0:17Speaker 2: We got a lot to get to. We'll get to
- 0:19Speaker 2: Graham Platner looks like he's out. We'll get to the Ukraine.
- 0:24Speaker 2: We'll get to We'll get to Iran. We'll get to
- 0:27Speaker 2: the president's trip. He's in Turkey right now. We'll get
- 0:30Speaker 2: to Crazy Mom Donnie. He's found a way to defund
- 0:33Speaker 2: the police. We'll get to the view. We'll get to
- 0:36Speaker 2: Bruce Blakeman. He's catching up. He's closing in poll wise
- 0:40Speaker 2: on Kathy Hokkel. I'm talking about the real polls, not
- 0:43Speaker 2: the fake public polls. But the President in Turkey right
- 0:47Speaker 2: now for NATO talks. It's the NATO summit where all
- 0:51Speaker 2: the NATO leaders get together and accomplish absolutely nothing. They
- 0:57Speaker 2: talk and talk and talk and nothing changes. President Trump
- 1:02Speaker 2: meeting with the Turkish president Air Dowan Bbnet Yahoo warning
- 1:08Speaker 2: him not to not to trust Air Towan, not to
- 1:12Speaker 2: sell them planes, not to do any of that stuff.
- 1:16Speaker 2: We'll see what happens today. Hey, yesterday with the Trump.
- 1:20Speaker 2: President Trump rang the opening bell with the Stock Exchange
- 1:24Speaker 2: and then launched the Trump Accounts. It's a great idea.
- 1:27Speaker 2: A lot of people have talked about this for years.
- 1:30Speaker 2: Social Security just doesn't work. I mean, it's always broke,
- 1:33Speaker 2: it's always about to go out of business. This current state,
- 1:37Speaker 2: it has about seven years left before it goes bankrupt.
- 1:41Speaker 2: A better system is you create these Trump accounts. Every
- 1:45Speaker 2: child that's born gets one thousand dollars. It goes into
- 1:48Speaker 2: an account that's carefully wisely invested in S and P
- 1:53Speaker 2: five hundred index sort of stuff, and one thousand dollars
- 1:57Speaker 2: in your account. If you're a kid, well the time
- 2:00Speaker 2: you're eighteen, it could be hundreds of thousands of dollars,
- 2:03Speaker 2: and by the time you're ready for retirement, it could
- 2:05Speaker 2: be millions of dollars. So it's a great system. Michael
- 2:09Speaker 2: Dell has kicked in many, many, many millions to help
- 2:14Speaker 2: start this OFFUL lot of other people will, so it's
- 2:17Speaker 2: a great thing. The President talking about it yesterday.
- 2:19Speaker 1: On Saturday, July fourth, administration deposited one time seed contributions
- 2:25Speaker 1: one thousand dollars each into the Trump accounts of over
- 2:29Speaker 1: five hundred thousand American children. It's a lot and millions
- 2:34Speaker 1: more will be getting additional contributions from generous owners.
- 2:40Speaker 2: Well, hey's first of the Ukraine. I think even Putin
- 2:45Speaker 2: is starting to realize he's not gonna win this war.
- 2:48Speaker 2: He can keep fighting it. He's got enough men and
- 2:50Speaker 2: money and resources to keep it going, but it's a total,
- 2:54Speaker 2: absolute stalemate. The Ukraine has been brilliant in the last
- 2:59Speaker 2: year in all of this, actually the last few years,
- 3:03Speaker 2: because they were totally dependent on us for weapons for money, well,
- 3:08Speaker 2: they've started to make their own weapons. They started a
- 3:10Speaker 2: few years ago. They figured out what they needed, drones,
- 3:13Speaker 2: the most deadly sophisticated, high powered drones, distance long distance drones,
- 3:20Speaker 2: and they figured out how to make them, and they
- 3:22Speaker 2: built their own factories. And in the Ukraine they've got
- 3:26Speaker 2: these big factories turning out drones by the hundreds. They
- 3:29Speaker 2: just keep turning out these drones, and they've been using
- 3:32Speaker 2: them very effectively against Russia. They make so many drones
- 3:38Speaker 2: in these factories. In fact, at some point we're going
- 3:40Speaker 2: to be buying drones from the Ukraine. I mean, it's
- 3:42Speaker 2: brilliant what they did. It's turned the whole thing around.
- 3:44Speaker 2: They're not only holding off the Russians, they're actually they're
- 3:48Speaker 2: advancing into Russia. They're taking back territory that Russia had,
- 3:51Speaker 2: so Putin it's beyond the steelmate. Now Putin is actually
- 3:55Speaker 2: losing this scene again. He's got enough men and money
- 3:57Speaker 2: and he's losing like thirty thousand truths some month. But
- 4:01Speaker 2: he can keep that up. He can keep forcing people
- 4:04Speaker 2: to serve, to go into the army, to be on
- 4:06Speaker 2: the front lines. For all those years that we were
- 4:09Speaker 2: terrified of the superpower Russia and it's mighty army, we
- 4:13Speaker 2: now know it's just a ragtag bunch of idiots, totally ineffective.
- 4:17Speaker 2: Can't even get past the Ukraine army. So President Trump
- 4:21Speaker 2: thinks that it's at the point now where Putin knows
- 4:25Speaker 2: it's never going to win this, and maybe he wants
- 4:27Speaker 2: a deal.
- 4:27Speaker 1: He wants to end it, and Ukraine wants to end it,
- 4:31Speaker 1: and we're in talks and we'll see we can get
- 4:32Speaker 1: it ended. It's a terrible thing.
- 4:34Speaker 2: Yeah, So he may actually make a deal, may actually
- 4:37Speaker 2: get it. May be a ran kind of situation. You
- 4:41Speaker 2: have these flimsy ceasefires for a while at least just
- 4:43Speaker 2: stop the fighting for a while. And of course if
- 4:47Speaker 2: you're watching MSNBC, it'll be a total corruption, it's a
- 4:51Speaker 2: Russian collusion. It'll be all kinds of crazy things. Speaking
- 4:54Speaker 2: of Iran, it's not great and it's not bad. I mean,
- 4:58Speaker 2: the ceasefire is it's kind of a holding measure for us.
- 5:02Speaker 2: We're a little short on missiles, drones, everything ourselves and
- 5:07Speaker 2: are restocking, so this couple of months helps a lot.
- 5:11Speaker 2: But Iran, as weasley and evil as those Iranian leaders are,
- 5:16Speaker 2: have been up to no good. There's a place called
- 5:18Speaker 2: Pickaxe Mountain that's one of their big nuclear sites. Iran
- 5:23Speaker 2: has now been seen through satellite photos doing recovery work,
- 5:28Speaker 2: trying to dig down there and get some of that
- 5:29Speaker 2: nuclear material the total violation of the cease fire at
- 5:34Speaker 2: the Pickaxe Mountain. Vehicle activity can be seen on the
- 5:37Speaker 2: roads leading up to the tunnels that go in there,
- 5:41Speaker 2: indicating that construction inside the tunnel complex is going on
- 5:45Speaker 2: as well as hardening the tunnel entrance, and inspectors from
- 5:49Speaker 2: the Atomic Energy Agency not been allowed in to visit
- 5:53Speaker 2: the site. Experts from the institute that studies all this
- 5:57Speaker 2: argue that halting work atax out and allowing the investors
- 6:02Speaker 2: inspectors in would be a very important thing. Iran has
- 6:06Speaker 2: so far not done that. They continue their pattern of deception.
- 6:11Speaker 2: It says so not good, and that's not the worst
- 6:15Speaker 2: thing in the world. But at some point we're going
- 6:16Speaker 2: to have to go back in there and finish the job,
- 6:19Speaker 2: finish them off at some point, FIFA, what is There's
- 6:23Speaker 2: a big game today, right.
- 6:24Speaker 3: I don't watch this.
- 6:25Speaker 2: I don't play any attention to it. I don't know.
- 6:28Speaker 2: It's when you try to watch it. It's Uruguay versus Paraguay. Well,
- 6:32Speaker 2: who am I supposed to root for? It's apparently a
- 6:35Speaker 2: big thing, a lot of betting on this. See what
- 6:39Speaker 2: was want to talking about today? It's Switzerland and Columbia.
- 6:43Speaker 2: Switzerland and Columbia. Now who am I supposed to be for?
- 6:47Speaker 2: I like watches, so I like Switzerland. I like coffee,
- 6:51Speaker 2: so I like Columbia. I don't know what the hell
- 6:53Speaker 2: am I supposed to do? Apparently it's big, big money
- 6:56Speaker 2: being bet so. Now, of course, anything President rut does
- 7:00Speaker 2: is anything Bresident Trump does is wrong. It's outrageous, it's corrupt.
- 7:04Speaker 2: They try to go after everything now with this FIFA
- 7:07Speaker 2: thing where he called the FIFA and told him to
- 7:11Speaker 2: reinstate that player, asked him to read it, requested that
- 7:13Speaker 2: they reinstate that player. I guarantee you Donald Trump is
- 7:18Speaker 2: not following soccer, doesn't know a damn thing about it.
- 7:20Speaker 2: But apparently what happened there where the guy was removed
- 7:24Speaker 2: was against the rules and was wrong. They did it.
- 7:28Speaker 2: It's I won't get into all the complexities of the rules,
- 7:30Speaker 2: but they weren't supposed to do it. So apparently a
- 7:33Speaker 2: lot of people went to him and said, you got
- 7:35Speaker 2: to fix this, so he made the call. Personally, I
- 7:37Speaker 2: don't think he cares either way anything about what goes
- 7:40Speaker 2: on in a FIFA game, but they continue today. The
- 7:43Speaker 2: betting is going on. Like hey, by the way, the
- 7:45Speaker 2: tourism in New York is through the roof. Through the roof,
- 7:49Speaker 2: there are people all over the place. There's a Nike
- 7:52Speaker 2: store on Fifth Avenue, fifty second set. I'm walking by
- 7:56Speaker 2: there last night. It's like nine o'clock at night. It
- 7:58Speaker 2: was packed, it was there were lines. It's all FIFA stuff.
- 8:03Speaker 2: They're selling all the jerseys and all that stuff. So
- 8:06Speaker 2: it's a huge business. People are making a fortune off
- 8:09Speaker 2: this here's President Trump.
- 8:10Speaker 1: If they wouldn't allow, you know, a top player, maybe
- 8:15Speaker 1: the best, maybe among the best players on the team
- 8:18Speaker 1: to play, I think it would have had a big stain.
- 8:21Speaker 2: Yeah, so he's acting on behalf of America in that
- 8:25Speaker 2: of course, that makes it even worse. If you're MSNBC,
- 8:28Speaker 2: they don't want anybody acting on behalf of America.
- 8:30Speaker 1: I asked for a review because I didn't think it
- 8:32Speaker 1: was a foul.
- 8:33Speaker 2: And you know, again, I'm good at this stuff.
- 8:35Speaker 1: I didn't think it was a foul. I thought it
- 8:37Speaker 1: was two great athletes to question into each other and
- 8:39Speaker 1: got entangled.
- 8:40Speaker 2: Yeah. So, hey, Graham, Platner looks like he's out. A
- 8:45Speaker 2: ex girlfriend has come forward saying she was raped. She's
- 8:49Speaker 2: a Democrat, she's a Democratic voter, she's not from the
- 8:52Speaker 2: Republican side, but she goes into excruciating detail about Platner
- 8:58Speaker 2: raping her, and Democrats are starting to turn. Here's row Kana.
- 9:04Speaker 2: He's like the Indian Adam Shift. Row Kana Weasley guy
- 9:08Speaker 2: who's always you know, trying to be the new Adam
- 9:10Speaker 2: Shift bashing Trump lickor but even he even he has
- 9:13Speaker 2: turned on Platinir.
- 9:14Speaker 4: Obviously, look if there was evidence of violence, I would
- 9:19Speaker 4: not support him.
- 9:19Speaker 1: If there was evidence of a sexual assault, I'd have
- 9:23Speaker 1: zero support for him.
- 9:25Speaker 2: Now, Platinir lied the whole time, this whole camp. A
- 9:30Speaker 2: couple of weeks ago, he's on the CNN or something
- 9:33Speaker 2: and they asked him if there's any more that could
- 9:36Speaker 2: come out.
- 9:36Speaker 5: I'm wondering, are there other skeletons from your past that
- 9:39Speaker 5: still may emerge in this race?
- 9:42Speaker 2: No, but the GUP is going to dig up everything.
- 9:47Speaker 6: And more that they can.
- 9:48Speaker 2: Yeah, and probably lie at some point.
- 9:52Speaker 5: Is there something new you want to get ahead of?
- 9:54Speaker 6: No, us people have to take you at your word
- 9:57Speaker 6: that that's true and that there's nothing else is Is
- 10:00Speaker 6: that what you are saying?
- 10:02Speaker 7: Yes?
- 10:02Speaker 2: Yeah, but he was lying. There's plenty more. That's a
- 10:06Speaker 2: lot more coming out in this woman his ex girlfriend says.
- 10:10Speaker 2: She describes in detail how she was raped by him.
- 10:13Speaker 2: He is, he's basically out. He's ad. What did he say?
- 10:17Speaker 2: I have to reflect on this? He's suspending. That means
- 10:20Speaker 2: he's out. Here's Platiner yesterday.
- 10:22Speaker 3: I wanted to directly address the troubling, serious and false
- 10:26Speaker 3: allegations against me. Any accusation of non consensual behavior is
- 10:31Speaker 3: categorically false.
- 10:33Speaker 2: Yeah, but apparently it's not because he's suspending.
- 10:36Speaker 3: So regardless of the inaccuracy of the reporting, but mindful
- 10:40Speaker 3: of political reality it will inflict. We are taking the
- 10:43Speaker 3: time to reflect on the best path forward.
- 10:45Speaker 2: Yeah. In other words, he's out, he's suspending. Hey, how
- 10:49Speaker 2: he Car'll be with us later this hour. He is
- 10:51Speaker 2: like the official Platiner correspondent of the world. Nobody on
- 10:55Speaker 2: top of Platiner more than him. So we'll talk to
- 10:57Speaker 2: him and just remember the famous words of Elizabeth Warren.
- 11:02Speaker 6: I said to myself, that's my kind of man, because
- 11:11Speaker 6: that is a man who not only has the values,
- 11:17Speaker 6: but a man who believes in accountability.
- 11:21Speaker 2: Yeah, he has the value she embraces. He's got a
- 11:24Speaker 2: big Nazi death Camp SS tattoo right on his chest.
- 11:30Speaker 2: He's a rapist. He's the values she embraces. These democrats
- 11:36Speaker 2: have gone so far, the so crazy with anti Semitism,
- 11:41Speaker 2: communism and Nazi tattoos. They can't even see straight. Blame
- 11:46Speaker 2: Donald Trump. He has set them off. He has driven
- 11:49Speaker 2: them nuts. A lot of this is they want Donald
- 11:53Speaker 2: Trump stopped, they want him out, they want him ruined,
- 11:56Speaker 2: they want and they just now think the old guard,
- 12:00Speaker 2: the Democratic leaders, the Schumers, those types weren't able to
- 12:04Speaker 2: do it. They were ineffective at stopping Trump. So they're
- 12:06Speaker 2: turning to these radical nutjobs. They think if a Schumer
- 12:10Speaker 2: can't do it, these crazies can do it. The anti semity.
- 12:15Speaker 2: It doesn't bother them. In fact, I think a lot
- 12:17Speaker 2: of them actually liked that kind of stuff. Now there's
- 12:20Speaker 2: a host on the view, Sonny hostin I can't tell
- 12:24Speaker 2: one from the other. There's just a bunch of clucking
- 12:26Speaker 2: hens the view. And one of them actually said she's
- 12:30Speaker 2: talking about the Mom Donnie. And remember that candidate Mom
- 12:33Speaker 2: Donnie pushed on us that Chevalier. So she used the
- 12:36Speaker 2: word anti semitic. Apparently, the Mom Donnie people are fuming
- 12:40Speaker 2: and furious and yelling and complaining to ABC, how dare
- 12:45Speaker 2: she use the word anti semitic. Well, of course they're
- 12:48Speaker 2: anti semitic. I mean, there's no question of that. But
- 12:51Speaker 2: the fact that they're so outraged at the word and objecting,
- 12:55Speaker 2: I guess that's the only good thing is I guess
- 12:58Speaker 2: they realize it's bad. I guess they realize anti Semitism
- 13:02Speaker 2: is a bad, bad thing, that you can't have that
- 13:05Speaker 2: label they're still anti Semits, but at least they know
- 13:08Speaker 2: how bad it is, so they're objecting to it. ABC.
- 13:11Speaker 2: I don't think we'll apologize or do anything about it.
- 13:14Speaker 2: You couldn't be or more anti Semitic than Chevalier Mom Donnie,
- 13:18Speaker 2: I mean, his wife. The things they've said, the things
- 13:22Speaker 2: they've written, the things they've posted, I mean, there's no
- 13:24Speaker 2: question about it. So hey, we'll get to Mom Donnie
- 13:28Speaker 2: coming up. He's found a way to kind of defund
- 13:30Speaker 2: the police. We'll get to that. Also, Hey, if you're
- 13:34Speaker 2: in New Jersey, other areas too, but especially in New Jersey.
- 13:38Speaker 2: You've got power outages that continue, some will continue through
- 13:42Speaker 2: tomorrow through Thursday. Power out in lots of parts in
- 13:46Speaker 2: New Jersey. And it's not getting restored as fast as
- 13:51Speaker 2: it should. You should be all over that governor. And
- 13:53Speaker 2: then you got flooding from the rain, the incredible downwards.
- 13:58Speaker 2: You see that BJ's Wholesale clip, so much rain on
- 14:01Speaker 2: the roof that the roof collapsed into the store, frightening
- 14:05Speaker 2: a lot of people in a BJ's Wholesale club and
- 14:08Speaker 2: the roof just caves in. And I don't think anybody
- 14:14Speaker 2: was seriously injured, but drones and canine teams were searching
- 14:16Speaker 2: the buildings, and he's got these power outages that will
- 14:19Speaker 2: continue all over the place. Hey, we'll take some calls. Next.
- 14:23Speaker 2: Eight hundred three to two one zero seven ten is
- 14:26Speaker 2: the number eight hundred three to two one zero seven
- 14:30Speaker 2: ten in Mark on Demand by setting up presead for
- 14:35Speaker 2: his podcast on the iHeartRadio app.
- 14:38Speaker 6: Now back to Mark Simone on woor.
- 14:42Speaker 2: Hey, let's take some calls. Let's go to Dave in Chicago. Dave,
- 14:46Speaker 2: how you doing.
- 14:48Speaker 7: Good morning, Mark. I'm doing very well.
- 14:49Speaker 5: Thank you, Mark.
- 14:51Speaker 8: I recently had dinner at Morton's and it got me
- 14:54Speaker 8: to thinking about restaurant reviewers. If I may I have
- 14:58Speaker 8: two fast questions, If you please, I'm sorry, sir, go ahead,
- 15:05Speaker 8: Oh thank you. In this era of social media, is
- 15:07Speaker 8: that more difficult to maintain anonymity? And lastly, have you
- 15:12Speaker 8: yourself ever participated in a restaurant review?
- 15:15Speaker 9: Oh?
- 15:15Speaker 2: Many times. Yes. I used to go on restaurant reviews
- 15:18Speaker 2: with critics from the Times from a Yeah, a review
- 15:22Speaker 2: is usually the reviewer has to take three other people.
- 15:25Speaker 2: It's always a table of four. One guy's always the
- 15:28Speaker 2: wine expert. One guy's to this expert. That way. You see,
- 15:32Speaker 2: they need to order a lot of dishes for each review.
- 15:35Speaker 2: They usually go three or four times, and you got
- 15:38Speaker 2: to order like four or five of every entree, four
- 15:40Speaker 2: or five of every appetizer each time. So that's why
- 15:42Speaker 2: they need a bunch of people, and the restaurant can
- 15:45Speaker 2: usually spot it's a review because everybody's passing everything to
- 15:48Speaker 2: each other. Everybody's taking a bite and passing around. But
- 15:52Speaker 2: now you went to Morton's. Why didn't you go to Gibson's.
- 15:54Speaker 2: You got the one of the best steakhouses in the
- 15:56Speaker 2: world in Chicago, Gibsons.
- 16:00Speaker 7: That's something that's on my to do list.
- 16:02Speaker 2: Well do it. It's a great place, all right, David Well, I.
- 16:06Speaker 8: Will take your recommendation.
- 16:08Speaker 2: Thank you, Mark, thanks for calling. That's in what they
- 16:10Speaker 2: call the Viagra Triangle. It's in Chicago, in the Gold Coast.
- 16:15Speaker 2: There's three big streets that form like a triangle, and
- 16:18Speaker 2: there's all these great restaurants in there, Gibson's, Hugo's, and
- 16:23Speaker 2: the bar is like a lot of older, very wealthy
- 16:25Speaker 2: guys and a lot of young bimbo types looking to
- 16:29Speaker 2: land these wealthy guests. So that's why they call it
- 16:30Speaker 2: the Viagra triangle. Just seriously, just if you're in Chicago
- 16:34Speaker 2: and you get in a cab and you say, take
- 16:36Speaker 2: me the Viagra triangle, He'll take you right there. It's
- 16:38Speaker 2: a common term there. Let's go to Rich and Myrtle Beach. Rich.
- 16:42Speaker 7: How you doing, Hey, Thanks Mark, Good morning David, and
- 16:45Speaker 7: good morning Vincent, and happy birthday, Ringo Star eighty six
- 16:49Speaker 7: years old. He's eighty six, I know, six, unbelievable.
- 16:55Speaker 2: He was the oldest Beatle. He was a couple of
- 16:57Speaker 2: years older than that guy.
- 16:58Speaker 7: Yeah, eighty four, John would have been eighty five years Wow,
- 17:03Speaker 7: that guy. It seemed like yesterday when he had Sullivan showed,
- 17:07Speaker 7: then Abbey Road came out, and now we're going to
- 17:09Speaker 7: be eighty six years old. My dad, who will be
- 17:12Speaker 7: ninety nine in November, said he felt old when his
- 17:16Speaker 7: idol started to die, like when Joe DiMaggio died. Luke Garrett,
- 17:20Speaker 7: he started to feel old when those kind of people
- 17:22Speaker 7: started to die. And you know, looking at our age,
- 17:25Speaker 7: you know another five years that's going to start happening fast.
- 17:27Speaker 7: You know. My point this morning, Mark was I was
- 17:30Speaker 7: watching Fox News and there's Meeka from CNB whatever the
- 17:34Speaker 7: station is. Trying to defend with the Politico reporter Grand
- 17:39Speaker 7: Platinum from Maine, like grilling this guy, what proof do
- 17:43Speaker 7: you have? These people are all in on this guy
- 17:45Speaker 7: up in Man, it's really unbelievable.
- 17:47Speaker 2: It's funny.
- 17:48Speaker 7: Before the day's over.
- 17:49Speaker 2: The platiner, the ex girlfriend, ex girlfriend who dated him
- 17:53Speaker 2: for a long time, said rape and yeah, Mika was
- 17:57Speaker 2: grilling the reporter, well, did she have any evidence evidence
- 18:00Speaker 2: that she had? What actual evidence did you have now
- 18:03Speaker 2: when it comes to that wacko nut job Egen Carroll,
- 18:06Speaker 2: nobody had this. Mika never wanted any evidence. There's you know,
- 18:09Speaker 2: this whack job Egene Carol couldn't tell you what year,
- 18:12Speaker 2: couldn't tell you anything about it, couldn't give you any details.
- 18:17Speaker 2: Mika believes the instantly, just like that. But this Platinum
- 18:20Speaker 2: unable last hard evidence. Thanks for calling. Let's go to
- 18:26Speaker 2: Alice in Rockland County. Alice, how you doing.
- 18:30Speaker 7: I'm good.
- 18:30Speaker 5: Mark. What do you think about this weekend at Bernie's
- 18:33Speaker 5: and his wife goes to China or maybe the movie
- 18:36Speaker 5: gave where they hide him in the basement. Mitch McConnell,
- 18:38Speaker 5: we're not hearing anything about it now.
- 18:40Speaker 2: From what I hear he's been officially declared brain dead.
- 18:43Speaker 2: Mitch McConnell, I mean medically.
- 18:46Speaker 5: Seriously, are they waiting till the elections or something like?
- 18:48Speaker 5: Why won't they the office say anything? They keep saying,
- 18:51Speaker 5: we're he's in recovery.
- 18:52Speaker 4: He's in recovery.
- 18:53Speaker 2: Yeah, I hear. It's pretty bad. But has it You're right,
- 18:56Speaker 2: it hasn't been confirmed. His wife is in China. She's
- 18:59Speaker 2: from China. Her family's in China. The whole family's there.
- 19:02Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 19:02Speaker 5: Yeah. Her daddy owned a big companies. They got a
- 19:07Speaker 5: big Chinese company as a wedding gift.
- 19:09Speaker 2: Yeah. No, no, They are a big part of the
- 19:11Speaker 2: Chinese economy and a big part of probably the Chinese country.
- 19:14Speaker 2: Not the best. She's a nice woman, a lane choo,
- 19:17Speaker 2: and I don't know why she's over there, but apparently
- 19:20Speaker 2: he's very bad and not going to recover. But thanks
- 19:23Speaker 2: for calling. Let's go to Jay in New Jersey. Jay,
- 19:26Speaker 2: how you doing?
- 19:29Speaker 7: Yeah? Mark?
- 19:30Speaker 9: You know Elizabeth Warren he took ant this when she
- 19:34Speaker 9: said that Graham Plattner is her kind of guy. Was
- 19:37Speaker 9: she lying then or is she lying now? I think
- 19:39Speaker 9: we know the answer to that. These people don't care
- 19:42Speaker 9: about the women they never do. It's all about political expedients,
- 19:45Speaker 9: isn't it.
- 19:45Speaker 2: Yeah, it's all well, it's all about getting Trump and
- 19:47Speaker 2: any whoever they think can slay Trump. That's who they're for.
- 19:51Speaker 2: They don't care if he's got an enormous Nazi tattoo
- 19:54Speaker 2: right on his chest. They don't care about any of that.
- 19:56Speaker 2: He's gotta be I mean, he's talking about a candidate
- 19:59Speaker 2: with bag This guy is like Paris Hilton with the baggage.
- 20:03Speaker 2: I mean, this guy had more back. They couldn't care less.
- 20:05Speaker 2: They'll look the other way on anything if Trump is involved. Hey,
- 20:09Speaker 2: Howie Carr's coming up in a few minutes. I think
- 20:11Speaker 2: I'm pretty sure he's the guy that first called their Pocahontas.
- 20:16Speaker 2: They first gave her that nickname. Let's go to John
- 20:19Speaker 2: and West Islip. John, how you.
- 20:20Speaker 10: Doing, IHI Mark, tell you good morning. Quick question, But
- 20:27Speaker 10: I hear that Congresswoman Luna from Florida is proposing to
- 20:32Speaker 10: put Trump on Mount Rushmore.
- 20:34Speaker 7: Yeah, what do you think.
- 20:36Speaker 10: Would it be on the right side with Lincoln or
- 20:38Speaker 10: on the left side where Washington is.
- 20:41Speaker 2: From what I hear, you can't actually put anybody on
- 20:44Speaker 2: Mount Rushmore. Some geological the stone the rock format that
- 20:47Speaker 2: you can't carve into it anymore. That's what I hear.
- 20:50Speaker 7: Well, I heard that it can be carved in.
- 20:52Speaker 10: Geologists has said that they can do it on either side.
- 20:56Speaker 2: Yeah, well maybe they found a way. Listen. Obviously, obviously
- 21:00Speaker 2: the Democrats will go completely insane. It's one reason to
- 21:03Speaker 2: propose it. Well, so I think, don't you have to
- 21:06Speaker 2: be dead a long time to be considered for Mount Rushmore?
- 21:10Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 21:10Speaker 10: That's where I'm calling the master.
- 21:12Speaker 7: I'm calling you.
- 21:12Speaker 2: Yeah, I'll look into it. I'll look into it, and
- 21:15Speaker 2: I think you got to be dead for a long time.
- 21:16Speaker 2: You can't. No, you just the left would go too crazy.
- 21:22Speaker 2: They would go completely insane. Also, it would cost a
- 21:27Speaker 2: fortune to have to protect Mount Rushmore. You'd have every
- 21:30Speaker 2: left wing mountain climbing equipment trying to go up there
- 21:35Speaker 2: with spray paint, with hammers to they they would spend
- 21:40Speaker 2: every second trying to destroy and deface the thing like
- 21:42Speaker 2: the reflecting pool. Hey again, Howie Carr, he was the
- 21:45Speaker 2: first one on Elizabeth Warren. I think he gave it
- 21:47Speaker 2: a name Pocahontas. But he's been all over. Graham Platner
- 21:51Speaker 2: he's the best on the subject. We'll talk to him
- 21:53Speaker 2: next on seven to ten wor He's got the whole
- 21:57Speaker 2: city in your radio, Mark Simone. Well, here's one of
- 22:04Speaker 2: the great talk show hosts in America, Howie Carr. You
- 22:07Speaker 2: can hear him on iHeart. You can get his podcast,
- 22:10Speaker 2: his radio show Everything's at iHeart or goes go to
- 22:12Speaker 2: Howie carshow dot com where you can also get his
- 22:15Speaker 2: best selling books. The latest book is Mass Corruption, and
- 22:18Speaker 2: get his column his books, the radio show everything at
- 22:21Speaker 2: Howie carshow dot com. Howie Carr, how you doing very good?
- 22:27Speaker 4: I'm doing better than Graham Plattiner right, thank you.
- 22:29Speaker 2: Well, so we want to have you on because you
- 22:31Speaker 2: are the official Graham PLATINIR correspondent of the world. You
- 22:35Speaker 2: have been on this guy. You knew this day was coming,
- 22:39Speaker 2: didn't you that he would.
- 22:41Speaker 7: Oh yeah yeah.
- 22:42Speaker 1: You know.
- 22:43Speaker 4: The thing was the Republicans would have waited until next
- 22:46Speaker 4: week when it was too late to get him off
- 22:47Speaker 4: the ballot. So this was like his own his own
- 22:52Speaker 4: crime family. Whack them yesterday. They set up they set
- 22:57Speaker 4: up Jake Politico at Jake Happer, you know, the guy
- 23:00Speaker 4: who told us for four years that Joe Biden was
- 23:04Speaker 4: fit as a fiddle, as sharp as attack, and then said, well,
- 23:07Speaker 4: I really knew he wasn't all all along. So it's
- 23:10Speaker 4: it's definitely a you know, a hit inside the family.
- 23:16Speaker 2: He's done right, I know, he says he's suspending, he's reflecting.
- 23:18Speaker 2: That means finish, doesn't it.
- 23:21Speaker 4: I think so, I think, I I you know, I would,
- 23:23Speaker 4: I would hope that he would stay in just because
- 23:25Speaker 4: he's you know, he's toast now. I mean the signs
- 23:27Speaker 4: were already disappearing, you know, for about a month. The
- 23:30Speaker 4: signs have been disappearing off the you know, the yard
- 23:33Speaker 4: signs in Maine. Yeah, so there's been I mean, there's
- 23:36Speaker 4: been some some trepidation among some of the saint or Democrats,
- 23:40Speaker 4: the few that are left. But he was, he was
- 23:43Speaker 4: still he was still hanging in there. And now he's
- 23:45Speaker 4: now he's become a major embarrassment. And I loved it
- 23:48Speaker 4: too that Rachel Maddow and her her lookalike separated at birth.
- 23:53Speaker 4: Chris Hayes were both saying last night, well you know
- 23:56Speaker 4: those are those denials. They sounded rather rather hollow and suspicious.
- 24:01Speaker 7: Well, now you tell.
- 24:02Speaker 4: Us, how come you to give us a heads up
- 24:07Speaker 4: when he was actually on your network lying through his
- 24:09Speaker 4: deep Yeah.
- 24:11Speaker 2: So hey explain to people. Explain Maine again to people,
- 24:15Speaker 2: because people think of it as this old even with Democrats,
- 24:19Speaker 2: sort of a conservative, old fashioned kind of place.
- 24:21Speaker 4: What happened to Maine, Well, what happened is I mean
- 24:25Speaker 4: it's been it's been drifting left for it for for
- 24:28Speaker 4: a while. But after COVID, Uh, you know, all the
- 24:31Speaker 4: beautiful people decided to move in and they they bought
- 24:35Speaker 4: along the coast and they've you know, they've they basically
- 24:39Speaker 4: housted the traditional main people from the coast and they've
- 24:44Speaker 4: had to either moved to Tennessee and Florida and Texas
- 24:48Speaker 4: or they've just moved inland and they live in the
- 24:52Speaker 4: pine tree areas, the logging country inland. And so these
- 24:57Speaker 4: these places that used to be like lobster lobster and
- 25:00Speaker 4: fishing communities, or blueberry blueberry growing areas, potato growing areas
- 25:07Speaker 4: further north, they're they're all now like resort resort towns there.
- 25:11Speaker 4: It's it's turning into like Aspen or you know, or
- 25:15Speaker 4: some of those places in Montana. And uh, these are
- 25:19Speaker 4: the these are the people who support Platner, you know,
- 25:22Speaker 4: I mean you can you know, like he again he
- 25:24Speaker 4: claims to be working class, but he had no working
- 25:26Speaker 4: class uh constituency. The people, you know, people look at
- 25:30Speaker 4: people from Maine look at him, and they say, this guy,
- 25:33Speaker 4: this guy is not this guy is not an oysterman.
- 25:37Speaker 4: You know, he has he has one customer, it's his
- 25:39Speaker 4: mom's restaurant. And he went to he went to prep school.
- 25:43Speaker 4: And he's just a he's just a poser. And but
- 25:48Speaker 4: but again that's what the new people in uh in Maine,
- 25:52Speaker 4: the the new residents who changed everything, uh, to change
- 25:56Speaker 4: the demographics. That's what they like, that's what they wanted.
- 26:00Speaker 4: And uh, you know they were tired of Janet Mills.
- 26:02Speaker 4: I mean she was she was super far left, you know,
- 26:05Speaker 4: like that guy that lost in East Harlem, you know
- 26:07Speaker 4: what the name Madri and sked a lot. I mean,
- 26:10Speaker 4: he was an illegal alien, but that wasn't good enough.
- 26:12Speaker 4: Parent he was you had to be an illegal alien communist,
- 26:16Speaker 4: you know. So so Janet Mills, I mean she was
- 26:19Speaker 4: just this crazy COVID governor and brought in some Mollie's
- 26:23Speaker 4: and was giving them everything. But that wasn't enough. You know,
- 26:26Speaker 4: she just does she she just wasn't getting the job done,
- 26:29Speaker 4: so they you know, they wanted they wanted Platiner, and
- 26:32Speaker 4: they didn't care, you know, they didn't they didn't care
- 26:35Speaker 4: how how nasty he was. He just he was just
- 26:39Speaker 4: you know, you know, it's like the old Randy Newman
- 26:42Speaker 4: song will he may be a fool, but he's our fool.
- 26:44Speaker 4: If they think they're better than well, well he may
- 26:46Speaker 4: be a Nazi and a rapist, but he's our nazi
- 26:48Speaker 4: and rapist, you know. And that's that's the way he.
- 26:51Speaker 7: Looked at it.
- 26:51Speaker 4: And they did not give a bleep, or a large
- 26:55Speaker 4: number of them didn't, Like I said, his support was
- 26:58Speaker 4: drifting away. The last pole I saw before the revelation
- 27:03Speaker 4: yesterday was Susan Collins was up by four points, and
- 27:07Speaker 4: you know, she was running six years ago against the
- 27:09Speaker 4: Speaker of the House who was a fairly attractive woman
- 27:14Speaker 4: who had political experienced, Sarah Gideon, and Sarah Gideon to
- 27:19Speaker 4: the very end, was up by eight or nine points
- 27:21Speaker 4: and Susan Collins ended up crushing her by like ten points.
- 27:25Speaker 4: So you can imagine what it was going to be
- 27:27Speaker 4: like this time around.
- 27:29Speaker 2: Hey, so all of these democrats, we got a bunch
- 27:31Speaker 2: of them got elected here in New York, these new
- 27:33Speaker 2: breed of communist Democrats, and you know, the mayors these
- 27:37Speaker 2: you know, we used to have to go to Vietnam
- 27:39Speaker 2: to fight communism. Now we've got to go to Seattle
- 27:41Speaker 2: and New York. And where's this going to end? The
- 27:44Speaker 2: communists really going to take over the party?
- 27:48Speaker 4: I don't know. I mean, you know again, I mean
- 27:51Speaker 4: I look at a short term and I think this
- 27:53Speaker 4: is great for the Republicans. But then I think, you know,
- 27:56Speaker 4: they thought it was great for the Germans, thought it
- 27:59Speaker 4: was great to send Lennon into Russia, you know, because
- 28:02Speaker 4: it was going to destabilize the Czar. And it didn't
- 28:05Speaker 4: work out well did it lost term? I don't know.
- 28:07Speaker 4: I don't know what the I don't know what the
- 28:09Speaker 4: answer is. How it's going to turn out, do you
- 28:11Speaker 4: what do you think?
- 28:12Speaker 2: I don't know. But it's not going to be good
- 28:14Speaker 2: for the midterms, right, I mean, this really helps the
- 28:15Speaker 2: Republicans in the midterms, this communist.
- 28:18Speaker 4: Move, Oh yeah, yeah, definitely, because these people are these
- 28:21Speaker 4: people are all fraudulent. I mean, none of these people
- 28:24Speaker 4: are actually like from New York, right, I mean, it's
- 28:28Speaker 4: one thing to you know, move move here, you know, uh,
- 28:31Speaker 4: you know when you're when you're a student, a freshman
- 28:34Speaker 4: at NYU or Saint John's or somewhere. But none of
- 28:36Speaker 4: these people have ever lived in New York. I mean
- 28:38Speaker 4: that the one with the heat job in Brooklyn. The
- 28:41Speaker 4: state said she should moved into the district a year ago.
- 28:45Speaker 4: It's gone from it's gone from get a job to
- 28:47Speaker 4: get a heat job in the Democrat party.
- 28:50Speaker 2: Uh, hey, speak of Elizabeth Warren. Were you the I
- 28:54Speaker 2: believe you were the first one to call her Pocahontas.
- 28:57Speaker 2: Is that true?
- 28:58Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 29:00Speaker 4: Things fake Indians. I was the first one to get
- 29:02Speaker 4: a copy of her book Pow Wow Chow, where she
- 29:04Speaker 4: lifted all these French recipes and said they were used
- 29:07Speaker 4: by her ancestors. On the Trail of Tears. Yeah, I mean,
- 29:12Speaker 4: she's she's just so fraudulent and it's so great. You know,
- 29:15Speaker 4: we keep playing that cut over and over again of
- 29:17Speaker 4: her saying about Graham Platner, he's my he's my kind
- 29:21Speaker 4: of man. He's my kind of man. And of course,
- 29:24Speaker 4: though when you know, last night she doesn't go in
- 29:27Speaker 4: front of the camera, she puts out of her her office,
- 29:30Speaker 4: puts out a statement on social media. You know, all
- 29:35Speaker 4: these people are so humiliated. You know, Tim Waltz was
- 29:40Speaker 4: was going to help her out, row Kanna, Chuck schu
- 29:44Speaker 4: at least Chuck Schumer was dragged kicking and screaming to
- 29:47Speaker 4: endorse him. But I love Bernie's. My favorite is Bernie Sanders.
- 29:52Speaker 7: He's a problem of the boy class.
- 29:57Speaker 4: He went to Hodgkins schoolIn school.
- 30:04Speaker 2: What happened to Massachusetts? You used to turn out people
- 30:07Speaker 2: like Tip O'Neil, and now it's Bernie Sanders and Olizabeth Warren?
- 30:10Speaker 2: What happened over there?
- 30:12Speaker 4: I mean, it's gonna go go further back. What about
- 30:14Speaker 4: Calvin COOLi used a pretty He was a pretty good
- 30:17Speaker 4: president when you get right down to it. John Adams
- 30:20Speaker 4: wasn't bad either, you know. I mean what happened to Massachusetts?
- 30:25Speaker 4: I mean it's the same thing that happened to Maine.
- 30:27Speaker 4: I mean, Maine and Massachusetts used to be the same
- 30:30Speaker 4: state until eighteen twenty, you know, and it's it's Massachusetts
- 30:34Speaker 4: has been overrun by these beautiful people, you know, and
- 30:37Speaker 4: they just they come in to go to school and
- 30:39Speaker 4: they never leave. They have trust funds. You know, Mater
- 30:42Speaker 4: and Pater are supporting them, and they work for the
- 30:46Speaker 4: you know, the nonprofit or the or the National Panhandler
- 30:50Speaker 4: Radio or something like that, and they go far left,
- 30:53Speaker 4: and you know there's i mean, there's basically no Republican
- 30:56Speaker 4: Party left in Massachusetts anymore.
- 30:58Speaker 2: Yeah, well we should talk. I mean, it's pretty much
- 31:01Speaker 2: the same here too. We've got the same problem. But hey,
- 31:05Speaker 2: Howie Carr's latest book is mass Corruption. Everybody should get
- 31:08Speaker 2: the book. And you got a volume two coming out
- 31:11Speaker 2: pretty soon.

- 31:14Speaker 4: last few weeks. It should be out by Labor Day.

- 32:05Speaker 2: on Platner and a whole lot more, and now I
- 32:07Speaker 2: don't forget. At noon it's Buck Sexton and Clay Travis.
- 32:10Speaker 2: They do a wonderful show every day twelve noon. Then
- 32:13Speaker 2: at three o'clock. He got the most listened to radio

- 32:21Speaker 2: Jimmy Fayla every night it's you love his show. If
- 32:24Speaker 2: you haven't heard it, you got to listen every night
- 32:26Speaker 2: nine and midnight. Interesting but funny, very very funny show
- 32:29Speaker 2: every night at nine. Here on seven to ten wor
- 32:33Speaker 2: talking about everything you care about. Mark Simones on WR
- 32:42Speaker 2: it's gonna be cloudy today. It looks like there's a
- 32:44Speaker 2: chance on one more shower, like around three three o'clock
- 32:47Speaker 2: worklock somewhere, and then one more shower, slight chance of it,
- 32:50Speaker 2: fifty chance. And then tomorrow's being the nicest day of
- 32:54Speaker 2: the week, beautiful, sunny, gonna play hooky do it tomorrow
- 32:58Speaker 2: because Thursday chance of thundershowers again. Friday chances thundershowers. Way,
- 33:03Speaker 2: it's a lot better than that heat wave that was brutal. Hey,
- 33:08Speaker 2: we got a lot to get to and the next
- 33:09Speaker 2: hour we'll get to the Charlie Kirk assassin on trial,
- 33:13Speaker 2: we'll get back to crazy Grand Platner, and a whole
- 33:17Speaker 2: lot more. Another hour to go, right after the news
- 33:19Speaker 2: seven wor
