SUFB 496 Season 2 Episode 11: Helping To Manage The Lionfish Invasion Through Jewelry with Phil Karp
Lionfish have invaded most, if not all, of the Caribbean Sea, the Gulf of Mexico and parts of the Southeast Atlantic Ocean. They have become a huge problem for fishing communities and tourist industries.

My guest today is Phil Karp, who is spearheading an effort of awareness of the Lionfish invasion as well as management through empowering women to start a business as jewelry makers of Lionfish pieces.
