Luke 9:18-17 "Who Do You Say I Am?"
Jesus poses a question directly to the disciples- Who do you say that I am? Jesus makes it clear that following Him is more than simply believing who He is. It means denying ourselves, taking up our cross daily, and following Him. Jesus challenges us to consider what it would profit us to gain the whole world but lose our soul. We must know who Jesus is, be willing to follow Him, and value our relationship with Him above everything else.
