- 0:00Speaker 1: Come on, I sure will. Good morning everybody you are
- 0:07Speaker 1: listening to the voice, come on, dig me now. One
- 0:10Speaker 1: and all is Steve Harvey. Man got a radio show.
- 0:13Speaker 1: Steve Harvey got a radio show because God in the
- 0:16Speaker 1: blessing business. Yeah, that's all. I'm just a recipient. Steve
- 0:22Speaker 1: Harvey got a radio show because God is in the
- 0:24Speaker 1: show you favor business. He showed me some favor. Steve
- 0:30Speaker 1: Harvey got a radio show because God is in a
- 0:32Speaker 1: forgiving business. God then forgave me thousands and thousands of times,
- 0:43Speaker 1: you know. And I say that as a big number
- 0:46Speaker 1: like that, because it's probably true. God is a forgiving God.
- 0:51Speaker 1: That's how it exists today, and that's how you exist today.
- 0:54Speaker 1: And one of the things I want to remind you
- 0:56Speaker 1: about even in existing today. You know, Joel Oste has
- 1:00Speaker 1: a book i'll call It's Your Time. I love this book.
- 1:04Speaker 1: It's called It's Your Time. And that's kind of what
- 1:08Speaker 1: I want to touch on today. And I want to
- 1:10Speaker 1: remind you all that it's still your time. See, you know,
- 1:17Speaker 1: there's look. You know, they've got unsuccessful people have created
- 1:23Speaker 1: a lot of sayings to justify our failures as people. Well,
- 1:30Speaker 1: my ship has passed. That was created by a person
- 1:37Speaker 1: who did not quite make their goal in the amount
- 1:40Speaker 1: of time that they had set for. So to justify it,
- 1:43Speaker 1: here comes this great, seemingly very clever saying, and a
- 1:48Speaker 1: lot of us adapt, well, my ship has passed, so
- 1:50Speaker 1: we adopt that. Here's another one. Well, I guess it
- 1:54Speaker 1: just wasn't meant to be. That sounds good, don't it,
- 1:58Speaker 1: Because they mix it up with a little bit of
- 2:01Speaker 1: faith based in it. I guessed it was. Well, here's
- 2:05Speaker 1: another one. I guess if God wanted it for me,
- 2:08Speaker 1: i'd have it. Are you serious? Man? Are you serious?
- 2:14Speaker 1: You're actually gonna use that one to justify where you
- 2:20Speaker 1: are in life? Man? That that's so, that's so not
- 2:24Speaker 1: the case. I want to remind everybody today that it's
- 2:29Speaker 1: still your time. That you know, your ship hasn't sailed,
- 2:35Speaker 1: you didn't miss all of your opportunities. There's others. It's
- 2:40Speaker 1: still your time. You know you still got a chance,
- 2:46Speaker 1: you still have a shot. Here's a good one. You
- 2:51Speaker 1: still have hope, you do, all of you. As long
- 2:58Speaker 1: as God is who he is is, there's always hope
- 3:03Speaker 1: for you. You can never lose sight of that. You
- 3:06Speaker 1: can never let the devil win that battle that there
- 3:10Speaker 1: is no hope for you and cause you to do
- 3:13Speaker 1: something that's unthinkable. I'm just gonna cash in the chips.
- 3:20Speaker 1: I'm gonna take my life. I'm gonna commit suicide. No no, no,
- 3:23Speaker 1: wait a second, wait a second. Are you for real?
- 3:27Speaker 1: That's not God talking to you. That's something wrong and
- 3:31Speaker 1: it's not coming from him. It's still your time. You
- 3:36Speaker 1: still got a chance. There's always hope. But listen to me.
- 3:41Speaker 1: You got to move and you got to move on it.
- 3:46Speaker 1: So many people are not getting the full benefit of
- 3:50Speaker 1: their life, and so many people are not getting all
- 3:53Speaker 1: the blessings that God has for because you keep waiting
- 3:57Speaker 1: on the perfect time. Man. How many times have I
- 3:59Speaker 1: heard people come to me and say, hey, man, I'm
- 4:02Speaker 1: just waiting on everything to line up, right, Man, I'm
- 4:05Speaker 1: waiting on the perfect time to get Hey, can I
- 4:08Speaker 1: tell you something. If I were waiting on the perfect time,
- 4:14Speaker 1: I wouldn't be hardly any of the things that I've become.
- 4:19Speaker 1: And one of my greatest blessings was marrying Marjorie. I
- 4:25Speaker 1: wouldn't even have married Marjorie if I was waiting on
- 4:29Speaker 1: the perfect time because I had gone through what I
- 4:32Speaker 1: thought was enough misery to cover my entire lifetime. And
- 4:38Speaker 1: so when I was first divorced, I just said, man,
- 4:44Speaker 1: it's gonna be five six years before I do this again.
- 4:48Speaker 1: I said it two years later I was married. But
- 4:54Speaker 1: guess what, man, it wasn't the perfect time. I didn't
- 4:59Speaker 1: have my ducks, all my ducks lined up in a row.
- 5:02Speaker 1: It was still some things I needed to clean up.
- 5:05Speaker 1: I even told her, it's some things I want to
- 5:08Speaker 1: clean up out of my life before you know it's
- 5:11Speaker 1: it's I want I want to make sure I got
- 5:13Speaker 1: all the stars a line up. You know I want to.
- 5:16Speaker 1: I want to waiting till all the ducks are in
- 5:18Speaker 1: a row. I was waiting on the perfect time if
- 5:22Speaker 1: I had not stopped, and Marjorie and I had set
- 5:26Speaker 1: out and said to each other there'll be no perfect time.
- 5:31Speaker 1: And then she said, I'll go through with you whatever
- 5:34Speaker 1: you're going through. That was it. I took a chance.
- 5:42Speaker 1: The ducks were not lined up in a row. Had
- 5:45Speaker 1: a lot of baggage in my life, man. I wanted
- 5:47Speaker 1: to try to clear up. I wanted to do some
- 5:49Speaker 1: things financially different. I wanted to just get rid of
- 5:53Speaker 1: some residue I had in my life. She said, no,
- 5:57Speaker 1: we'll do it together, because ain't no perfect time. And
- 6:01Speaker 1: guess what it wasn't. So if you're out there waiting
- 6:04Speaker 1: on the perfect time to do something, it may not come.
- 6:08Speaker 1: There is no such thing as waiting on the perfect time.
- 6:12Speaker 1: I've said this one hundred times and here comes one
- 6:14Speaker 1: oh one. The road to success is always under construction.
- 6:18Speaker 1: You ain't finna go out there and there ain't no
- 6:20Speaker 1: barrels on the road. You're not going out there and
- 6:22Speaker 1: not running to detools signs. You're not going out there
- 6:25Speaker 1: without seeing the men working sign to get off. You're
- 6:29Speaker 1: not going out there to see it. So guess what,
- 6:32Speaker 1: stop waiting on the stars are gonna man, this is
- 6:35Speaker 1: a perfect time to do it now. If you're waiting
- 6:38Speaker 1: on the perfect time, that could be one of your
- 6:41Speaker 1: biggest problems. You're still waiting. You have got to move
- 6:44Speaker 1: and you've got to move on it, and you've got
- 6:46Speaker 1: to make a decision to go now. God will get
- 6:50Speaker 1: you through everything necessary for you to get through. But
- 6:53Speaker 1: you can't quit though. See there's a part you can't
- 6:58Speaker 1: quit just because the roads you're under construction. You can't
- 7:01Speaker 1: get off at the exit. Because you're tired of all
- 7:04Speaker 1: the bump of the bumper traffic. It's that way. Get
- 7:08Speaker 1: you some God, like I said, get you some God,
- 7:12Speaker 1: and go on and go see what your life can
- 7:14Speaker 1: be like. So stop waiting on the perfect time, stop
- 7:17Speaker 1: waiting on the stars to align themselves. You got to
- 7:20Speaker 1: move and you got to move on it. Get you
- 7:24Speaker 1: some God, apply some faith and get started. And remember
- 7:27Speaker 1: when you get out there, coming towards your goal. The
- 7:30Speaker 1: road to construct, the road to success is always under construction.
- 7:34Speaker 1: If it was easy, everybody would be it. Stop expecting
- 7:37Speaker 1: it to be easy. Come on out here, get up
- 7:39Speaker 1: in this thing. It's funky out here. Yeah I got
- 7:42Speaker 1: all that. It's hard out here. Yeah I got all that.
- 7:45Speaker 1: But what you want to do, man, Huh, what you
- 7:47Speaker 1: wanna do? You're gonna push your chips up to the window.
- 7:51Speaker 1: It ain't time for that. You still got time, you
- 7:53Speaker 1: still got a chance. There's always hope, there's always God.
- 7:57Speaker 1: That's my conversation today here the Steve Harvey Morning Show
