- 0:00Speaker 1: Yeah, people tell you.
- 0:44Speaker 2: To your home. People by all before to what a
- 1:00Speaker 2: everybody happy Thursday, September twelfth, twenty twenty four. I hope
- 1:04Speaker 2: everybody has had a great week, and let's get this
- 1:07Speaker 2: show on the road before we start with our celebrity birthdays.
- 1:12Speaker 2: I just wanted to talk for a minute. Yesterday it
- 1:15Speaker 2: was a very somber day. Of course, in the United
- 1:17Speaker 2: States of America, everybody remembers nine to eleven, two thousand
- 1:21Speaker 2: and one. We will never forget that day. I'll never
- 1:25Speaker 2: forget the call I got for my mom waking me
- 1:28Speaker 2: up in the morning and telling me to turn on
- 1:31Speaker 2: the TV. I was watching, just like what's going on,
- 1:35Speaker 2: and she's like, I don't know. They're not sure what's
- 1:38Speaker 2: going on. And something happened. A plane crash into a
- 1:40Speaker 2: building in New York. They're not sure if the plane
- 1:43Speaker 2: just went off course. They don't know what's going on.
- 1:46Speaker 2: I woke up my ex girlfriend, who was staying at
- 1:48Speaker 2: my place at the time, and we got up and
- 1:52Speaker 2: we watched, and just as we were watching, the second
- 1:55Speaker 2: plane hit the building. The second building. It It was
- 1:59Speaker 2: horrific to see that live on TV. And the cameras
- 2:04Speaker 2: did not pan out. They just watched and it was
- 2:08Speaker 2: a scary site knowing that that was not just a
- 2:11Speaker 2: plane crashing into a building, that was something else. And
- 2:15Speaker 2: in the days following we found out that it was
- 2:18Speaker 2: a terror attack from within our own soil, people coming
- 2:22Speaker 2: from abroad, and they learned how to fly our own
- 2:25Speaker 2: planes and take them into the building themselves. A lot
- 2:30Speaker 2: of lives were lost that day. A lot of people perished,
- 2:33Speaker 2: whether it was in the buildings, heart attacks on the
- 2:37Speaker 2: ground from seeing it, people who firemen who went in
- 2:42Speaker 2: the building to save people, and the building collapsed, the Pentagon,
- 2:47Speaker 2: the airplane that went down in Pennsylvania. It was a
- 2:50Speaker 2: horrific day altogether. But you know what, we watched America
- 2:55Speaker 2: crumble but then rebuild itself that night when and people
- 3:00Speaker 2: were there helping. There's still people to this day who
- 3:04Speaker 2: are getting cancer from from being there in the rubble
- 3:08Speaker 2: and all this stuff. And there's people still dying to
- 3:11Speaker 2: this day from it from cancers. Firemen and Red Cross
- 3:15Speaker 2: people that were helping at the time. Twenty three years later,
- 3:20Speaker 2: and I still will remember it like it was just
- 3:23Speaker 2: to happen, like yesterday. So let's do a moment of
- 3:28Speaker 2: silence for everybody who lost their lives that day. We'll
- 3:31Speaker 2: do this. We do this every year for those people,
- 3:36Speaker 2: for those families, for those people that were young and
- 3:40Speaker 2: vibrant and just working at a new job. Maybe some
- 3:45Speaker 2: it was their first day at the job. America goes
- 3:48Speaker 2: through a lot on a yearly basis. But I think
- 3:51Speaker 2: that was the thing that nobody will ever forget as
- 3:56Speaker 2: long as we live. As long as you're here, you
- 4:00Speaker 2: will remember. As long as you're here, your kids will
- 4:02Speaker 2: know what it was. And maybe one day they'll pass
- 4:05Speaker 2: it on to their kids and say, I wasn't there
- 4:07Speaker 2: for it, but your grandfather was. But yeah, so let's
- 4:14Speaker 2: do a moment of silence really quick for the people
- 4:16Speaker 2: who we lost on nine to eleven. All Right, we
- 4:27Speaker 2: got a jam pack show. Let's get it going. If
- 4:29Speaker 2: today is your birthday, happy birthday to you. And if
- 4:34Speaker 2: it's your birthday, here's a celebrity share on a birthday today,
- 4:36Speaker 2: September twelfth, Sidney Sweeney turns twenty seven. Paul Walker would
- 4:41Speaker 2: have had a birthday today. He's one of my favorite actors.
- 4:44Speaker 2: Kelsey Bellerini turns thirty one. Actress and singer Jennifer Hudson
- 4:49Speaker 2: is forty three, and two Chains turns forty seven. Tomorrow,
- 4:54Speaker 2: September thirteenth, Friday, Playboy Carti turns twenty eight. Singer Niall
- 4:59Speaker 2: Horny is thirty one, Actor and creator Tyler Tyler Perry
- 5:04Speaker 2: is fifty five, Fiona Apple turns forty seven, and Boy
- 5:08Speaker 2: and Girl Meets World actor Ben Savage turns forty four.
- 5:12Speaker 2: Amy Whitehouse Saturday has a birthday, Nas turns fifty one. A. M.
- 5:19Speaker 2: Kenny turns twenty five, Bulls former Bulls player and now
- 5:23Speaker 2: current Miami heat Jimmy Butler turns thirty five. And the
- 5:26Speaker 2: beautiful actress from Father of the Bride who's married to
- 5:30Speaker 2: Brad Paisley Kimberly Williams. Paisley turns fifty three. Last, but
- 5:35Speaker 2: not least, if Sunday is your birthday, Here's the Sunday Birthdays.
- 5:39Speaker 2: Prince Harry turns forty, Tom Hardy turns forty seven, Lisa
- 5:44Speaker 2: vander Pump turns sixty four, actor Tommy Lee Jones seventy eight,
- 5:48Speaker 2: and former Miami Dolphin quarterback Dan Marino turns sixty three. Also,
- 5:55Speaker 2: the man that I had no clue was behind this game.
- 5:59Speaker 2: But if you loved Mark, go Polo as a kid,
- 6:02Speaker 2: Sunday would have been his birthday if you were alive.
- 6:04Speaker 2: All right, So let's move on now to some football,
- 6:08Speaker 2: and we've got a lot to talk about. I went
- 6:10Speaker 2: twelve and four last week, which was amazing. Twelve and
- 6:14Speaker 2: four is pretty decent. I only guess four wrong, and
- 6:17Speaker 2: the Bears were not one of them. I guess they
- 6:18Speaker 2: were gonna win, and they did seventy five percent. Not
- 6:22Speaker 2: too bad, not too chabby for my first week. Let's
- 6:25Speaker 2: go over week two. Well, let's go over week one.
- 6:28Speaker 2: I'll let everybody know. For those who don't know who
- 6:30Speaker 2: won all the games, we'll go over that really quick
- 6:33Speaker 2: right now. So let's go into my ESPN app and
- 6:40Speaker 2: we will look at all the games last week to
- 6:43Speaker 2: see how the first week of the NFL season went. Alright.
- 6:48Speaker 2: So Week one, of course, kicked off on Thursday Night
- 6:52Speaker 2: football with the Kansas City Chiefs beating the Baltimore Ravens.
- 6:57Speaker 2: The next day on Friday, Yes there was a Friday game.
- 7:01Speaker 2: It was the Green Bay Packers and Philadelphia Eagles live
- 7:05Speaker 2: from Brazil. That ground was horrible. The Eagles ended up
- 7:09Speaker 2: winning thirty four to twenty nine. That ground was awful.
- 7:12Speaker 2: And Jordan Love with five seconds left ended up getting
- 7:15Speaker 2: hurt and he will be out for at least three
- 7:19Speaker 2: to six weeks, so their backup is gonna be playing.
- 7:22Speaker 2: Which he didn't look that great in that game. Now,
- 7:25Speaker 2: he only came in with five seconds left, but he
- 7:27Speaker 2: was trying to drive downfield and just didn't have anything
- 7:31Speaker 2: in him. Sunday games, it was the Pittsburgh Steelers beating
- 7:35Speaker 2: the Atlanta Falcons eighteen to ten. Justin Fields had a
- 7:39Speaker 2: pretty decent game. He threw about one hundred and eighty
- 7:42Speaker 2: four yards, He ran and got some running yards, and
- 7:45Speaker 2: he also rushed in for was it one touchdown? No,
- 7:50Speaker 2: they had no touchdowns, so he had no touchdowns, no interceptions,
- 7:54Speaker 2: and it was all field goals they won. That was crazy.
- 7:58Speaker 2: And then let's see the Buffalo Bills beating the Arizona
- 8:02Speaker 2: Cardinals thirty four to twenty eight. Chicago Bears, we talked
- 8:06Speaker 2: about them on my Monday show, which will be every
- 8:09Speaker 2: week now, so I won't do much Bears talk during
- 8:14Speaker 2: this show as I do on that show. So if
- 8:17Speaker 2: you really want to hear some in depth Bears analysis
- 8:20Speaker 2: from me, check out my new show on Mondays and
- 8:23Speaker 2: that will be available on the same place as you're
- 8:26Speaker 2: listening Spreaker. You know what, let me check if it's
- 8:30Speaker 2: I can't because if I do it, it'll mess up
- 8:32Speaker 2: this recording. I'm gonna check because it could be on
- 8:34Speaker 2: I It's probably on iHeart Radio too, probably under the
- 8:37Speaker 2: exact same section that this one's under, because it's all
- 8:40Speaker 2: under one umbrella. So we'll see. But yeah, make sure
- 8:44Speaker 2: you check out my new show. It's really good. I
- 8:47Speaker 2: talk about the Bears game that's playing now today. I'll
- 8:51Speaker 2: talk a little bit about the Texans game coming up.
- 8:54Speaker 2: But let's go into this, okay, So let's see the
- 8:57Speaker 2: Texans who the Bears play on Sunday Night Football this
- 8:59Speaker 2: week went one and oh. They beat the Indianapolis Colts
- 9:03Speaker 2: twenty nine to twenty seven. It was the Miami Dolphins
- 9:06Speaker 2: winning twenty to seventeen over the Jags. We had the
- 9:09Speaker 2: Bengals losing to the New England Patriots sixteen to ten.
- 9:16Speaker 2: Carolina Panthers, still not good, lost forty seven to ten
- 9:20Speaker 2: in the New Orleans Saints. The New York Giants lost
- 9:24Speaker 2: to the Minnesota Vikings twenty eight to six. It was
- 9:27Speaker 2: the Seattle Seahawks over the Denver Broncos twenty six twenty.
- 9:32Speaker 2: The Chargers went one to oh and won the first
- 9:37Speaker 2: matchup for Jim Harbaugh as a head coach, twenty two
- 9:41Speaker 2: to ten over the Las Vegas Raiders. It was the
- 9:43Speaker 2: Tampa Bay Buccaneers thirty seven to twenty over the Washington Commanders.
- 9:47Speaker 2: The Cowboys won their first game thirty three to seventeen
- 9:51Speaker 2: over the Brownies. It was the La Rams losing to
- 9:54Speaker 2: the Detroit Lions on Sunday Night Football twenty six to twenty.
- 9:57Speaker 2: And then of course Monday Night Football. Aaron Rodgers his
- 10:01Speaker 2: first game back after the achilles took him out last season.
- 10:05Speaker 2: He ended up losing that game. In perfect playoff form,
- 10:10Speaker 2: Aaron Rodgers loses again to the San Francisco forty nine
- 10:13Speaker 2: Ers thirty two to nineteen. That's right. So that was
- 10:17Speaker 2: last week. A lot of good games. I hope everybody
- 10:20Speaker 2: got to enjoy it. Now here we go with week two,
- 10:23Speaker 2: and here's my prediction. So last week twelve and four
- 10:26Speaker 2: seventy five percent not bad. Now next week when I
- 10:31Speaker 2: tell you, I'm gonna tell you what my percentage is
- 10:34Speaker 2: for the entire two weeks. So every week now I'll
- 10:38Speaker 2: tell you that I'll tell you what I did the
- 10:40Speaker 2: current week, what I'm at for the season, and then,
- 10:43Speaker 2: of course my percentage for the season. So let's do this.
- 10:46Speaker 2: So I've got the Buffalo Bills tonight taking out the
- 10:50Speaker 2: Miami Dolphins. That's gonna be a good game. Dallas Cowboys
- 10:56Speaker 2: Sunday at noon. I've got them beating the New Orleans Saints.
- 11:00Speaker 2: I think, like I said, Dak Prescott is good in
- 11:02Speaker 2: the season, looking like a Mississippi pimp. Now that he's
- 11:05Speaker 2: signed that big extension with the Cowboys. We'll talk about
- 11:08Speaker 2: that in a minute. Detroit Lions. I have been the
- 11:11Speaker 2: Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They're gonna go to and Er. Of course,
- 11:14Speaker 2: right now, I got Green Bay losing. I don't feel
- 11:17Speaker 2: like their backup can do this. I don't think he's
- 11:19Speaker 2: gonna have a good season well or a good time.
- 11:23Speaker 2: Will Jordan Love is out, so yeah, I think they
- 11:26Speaker 2: lose to the Colts. Colts get their first win. The
- 11:29Speaker 2: Jets and the Tennessee Titans. I got the Jets getting
- 11:32Speaker 2: their first win. I think Tennessee proved last week how
- 11:35Speaker 2: bad they were. I think Will Levis is a terrible quarterback.
- 11:40Speaker 2: I mean he should have won that game. And we'll
- 11:42Speaker 2: talk about that in a second. Two. So the New
- 11:44Speaker 2: York Jets, I think are gonna get to win there,
- 11:47Speaker 2: San Francisco forty nine Ers, and the Minnesota Vikings. I
- 11:50Speaker 2: got San Francisco winning that one. Seattle Seahawks I've got
- 11:54Speaker 2: over the New England Patriots. I'm gonna take the Washington
- 11:58Speaker 2: Commanders over the New York Giants. The Giants are that bad.
- 12:02Speaker 2: I got the Chargers, of course, whooping on the Panthers.
- 12:05Speaker 2: I'm looking at this, ninety eight percent of people pick
- 12:08Speaker 2: the Chargers, only two percent are picking the Carolina Panthers.
- 12:11Speaker 2: That two percent are probably Panther fans. They think they're
- 12:14Speaker 2: gonna win every game. Let's see. I've got the Browns
- 12:18Speaker 2: over the Jaguars. I've got the Baltimore Ravens beating the Raiders.
- 12:23Speaker 2: I've got the Los Angeles Rams getting their first win
- 12:25Speaker 2: over the Arizona Cardinals. I got the Pittsburgh Steelers beating Denver.
- 12:30Speaker 2: Justin Fields will be starting in week two again. I've
- 12:34Speaker 2: got the Kansas City Chiefs beating the Cincinnati Bengals. And
- 12:38Speaker 2: then Sunday night football. Here's the funny thing. If you
- 12:43Speaker 2: go back to the show, it was two weeks ago
- 12:46Speaker 2: now last week, but the week before that, I did
- 12:49Speaker 2: my picks for the Bears. What games I thought they
- 12:52Speaker 2: were gonna win, What games I thought they were gonna lose.
- 12:56Speaker 2: I'm gonna come back to this after I talk about
- 12:58Speaker 2: the Bunday Night game because I've changed my stance on
- 13:01Speaker 2: this and I'll tell you why. Okay, So I've got
- 13:05Speaker 2: for Monday Night football. I got Philadelphia over the Atlanta Falcons.
- 13:10Speaker 2: So here's my take on the Bears and the Houston Texans.
- 13:15Speaker 2: I originally when I picked on TikTok, you see it
- 13:19Speaker 2: on my TikTok page and on my show that I
- 13:24Speaker 2: did two weeks ago where I picked my Bears season schedule,
- 13:27Speaker 2: who was gonna win? Okay? I picked the Texans and
- 13:30Speaker 2: the one to win it. I feel after what I
- 13:34Speaker 2: saw on Sunday out of Caleb Williams and the offense,
- 13:38Speaker 2: and it was not and I talked about this on
- 13:40Speaker 2: my show. It was not just Caleb Williams. Yes, he
- 13:43Speaker 2: could have played a lot better. I think he could
- 13:45Speaker 2: have squeezed two hundred yards out of that that dropped
- 13:49Speaker 2: past by Keenan Allen in the end zone didn't help.
- 13:51Speaker 2: That would have been ten more yards. There was a
- 13:54Speaker 2: few overthrows that he had in a couple of underthrows.
- 13:57Speaker 2: I think this is all timing issues that he's having
- 14:00Speaker 2: with new receivers. Okay, when you're in college, and if
- 14:03Speaker 2: you watch college football just like I do, the game
- 14:07Speaker 2: is not as fast as the NFL, and you could
- 14:11Speaker 2: tell when they play. This is why offensive lines can
- 14:13Speaker 2: hold a defensive lineback for ten seconds at a time
- 14:18Speaker 2: sometimes because they're slower, they're not as fast. They're not veterans, Okay,
- 14:24Speaker 2: which is why rookies come in playing slow. Now, does
- 14:27Speaker 2: it happen to every rookie? No. CJ. Stroud had a
- 14:30Speaker 2: pretty good season. It had a really good season last year.
- 14:33Speaker 2: But he did struggle a little in his first couple
- 14:35Speaker 2: of weeks, and people did say that I'm changing my
- 14:40Speaker 2: stance on this one, not on my TikTok, not on
- 14:43Speaker 2: my show. We're gonna keep it like that because if
- 14:46Speaker 2: the Texans do win, well that I was right on
- 14:49Speaker 2: my prediction there. But my prediction for this week is
- 14:52Speaker 2: the Bears are going to win. Caleb Williams, whether A
- 14:57Speaker 2: DOONSA plays, which there is a good chance he may
- 15:00Speaker 2: set a week maybe two because that's spraining. And I
- 15:03Speaker 2: don't blame the Bears if they do. Okay, that is
- 15:06Speaker 2: your number nine pick receiver. Okay, that is the guy
- 15:09Speaker 2: that you chose in the first round at number nine.
- 15:12Speaker 2: Do you want to get him that hurt now and
- 15:14Speaker 2: have him out for the whole year of his rookie
- 15:16Speaker 2: year or have him sit a game or two and
- 15:19Speaker 2: then have him come back healthy. I won't be mad
- 15:22Speaker 2: either way, but I would if I were the coach,
- 15:25Speaker 2: I'd hold him back one week okay and say, look, Rome,
- 15:29Speaker 2: I know you want to play, but we're looking at
- 15:32Speaker 2: your long term play right now, not your short term.
- 15:35Speaker 2: And when I did my show Monday, there was no
- 15:38Speaker 2: word yet on anything because of the fact that they
- 15:42Speaker 2: didn't get the results back till like Wednesday almost which
- 15:45Speaker 2: was yesterday. There's no official timetable on a return. He's
- 15:50Speaker 2: week to week, which is good. Week to week is good.
- 15:53Speaker 2: That means they're gonna evaluate him every week to see
- 15:56Speaker 2: if he's playing or not. Right now, he's questionable. He's
- 15:58Speaker 2: not out yet, okay, but I would hold him now.
- 16:04Speaker 2: If he does play, I would use him as maybe
- 16:07Speaker 2: a number four receiver. I'll put Tyler Scott in at
- 16:10Speaker 2: number three, so you would have There's there's rumors that
- 16:14Speaker 2: Keenan Allen sat out yesterday's practice, which he's given a
- 16:18Speaker 2: heel issue. I would because he's a veteran. Okay, he
- 16:23Speaker 2: had a rough game with a new quarterback. It happens.
- 16:26Speaker 2: The dudes used to Justin Herbert. Okay, this is a
- 16:30Speaker 2: trial and error type beginning of the season for the Bears.
- 16:34Speaker 2: New receivers, brand spaking new quarterback. This quarterback is like
- 16:39Speaker 2: when you buy a toy and pull it right out
- 16:40Speaker 2: of the box. Okay, brand new. Honestly, you gotta look
- 16:46Speaker 2: at it that way. Like some of these fans just
- 16:49Speaker 2: don't understand. They really don't get it. I have been
- 16:53Speaker 2: arguing with people all week about how, oh, Tyson Bagen
- 16:56Speaker 2: should be coming in. What are you talking about? Why
- 17:02Speaker 2: give me? Email me and give me one good reason
- 17:06Speaker 2: why you would start Tyson Beigent in game two of
- 17:10Speaker 2: the season. When you have a rookie quarterback who needs
- 17:15Speaker 2: to be out there and learn whether he's making a
- 17:18Speaker 2: mistake or he's doing good, he needs to learn from
- 17:21Speaker 2: all of it, the whole kitten kaboodle. He needs to
- 17:26Speaker 2: be out there and playing the whole season. I'm not
- 17:30Speaker 2: pulling him out if we're going fifteen, I'm making him
- 17:33Speaker 2: learn every week. Do you want to know why the
- 17:37Speaker 2: Bears don't know how to build a quarterback up a rookie?
- 17:45Speaker 2: That's the one complaint Bears fans have, And then when
- 17:48Speaker 2: they do it, there Bears fans already calling for Tyson beagent.
- 17:56Speaker 2: This fan base is the most stupid fan base I
- 18:00Speaker 2: have ever seen in my life. No smart football person
- 18:08Speaker 2: wouldever say that they should pull out Caleb Williams and
- 18:13Speaker 2: put in Tyson Bageen in week two of his rookie season.
- 18:19Speaker 2: Do you want to know why the Bears don't develop
- 18:21Speaker 2: quarterbacks right because the fans. The fans are stupid morons
- 18:26Speaker 2: that have no clue what it even means to develop
- 18:29Speaker 2: a quarterback. You think because he's number one, the number
- 18:35Speaker 2: one picked, that he still isn't going to go through
- 18:37Speaker 2: learning issues in the game. You don't think he's gonna
- 18:42Speaker 2: make mistakes. That's not how it works. We'll see what happens,
- 18:50Speaker 2: but I can guarantee you I'm going to see this
- 18:54Speaker 2: weekend a three hundred yard game out of Caleb Williams.
- 18:58Speaker 2: I think it's going to happen. I think he's gonna
- 19:01Speaker 2: have three hundred yards and two touchdowns or a two
- 19:04Speaker 2: or three touchdowns. He's also gonna rush for about thirty yards.
- 19:09Speaker 2: It's gonna be fun to watch him in week two,
- 19:12Speaker 2: he said coming off the field, and he reiterated this
- 19:14Speaker 2: on Wednesday when he did his press conference. He said,
- 19:18Speaker 2: there is no way that he is going to play
- 19:20Speaker 2: the same way he did last week again. And I
- 19:24Speaker 2: believe him. I believe that he saw what he did
- 19:29Speaker 2: and he watched that film back of that game. I
- 19:32Speaker 2: guarantee he felt awful. Things happen. You're a rookie kid.
- 19:39Speaker 2: You're gonna make mistakes. You might claim that you don't
- 19:42Speaker 2: get nervous. I think everybody gets nervous. But we'll see
- 19:46Speaker 2: what happens next week. Hopefully he comes back and he
- 19:49Speaker 2: has a great week. Found a couple of things that
- 19:51Speaker 2: I wanted to share with everybody. Hold on one second,
- 19:55Speaker 2: Tyson Bagen in his rookie year didn't get to play
- 19:58Speaker 2: a lot, but he did play few games because of
- 20:01Speaker 2: justin fields injury that he had last year for the Bears.
- 20:04Speaker 2: Last year in his rookie year, in five games, eight
- 20:09Speaker 2: and fifty nine yards, three touchdowns, only six had six
- 20:13Speaker 2: interceptions a QB rating of seventy one. You weren't calling
- 20:20Speaker 2: for beagent's head when he was throwing six picks in
- 20:24Speaker 2: five games. Caleb didn't throw a pick at all, even
- 20:29Speaker 2: when he was trying to make things happen. He did
- 20:32Speaker 2: not force the bad pass that turned the ball over.
- 20:36Speaker 2: That's a step forward for a Bear's quarterback. This was
- 20:39Speaker 2: This was a guy who was a backup and did it.
- 20:43Speaker 2: The main guy did it. Jay Cutler did it, Rex
- 20:46Speaker 2: Grossman's done it. Kyle Orton did it. Jim Miller did it.
- 20:50Speaker 2: Jim McMahon did it. Caleb, int his first game where
- 20:54Speaker 2: he was probably a little nervous, did not throw a
- 20:56Speaker 2: big pick or a big fumble to lose the game.
- 21:00Speaker 2: Bears ended up winning that one. Let's go into the
- 21:04Speaker 2: last part of the NFL. Let's go into the power
- 21:07Speaker 2: rankings going into week two. This is where people move
- 21:11Speaker 2: up and down and we see how right they were
- 21:14Speaker 2: from week one. The Kansas City Chiefs still at number one,
- 21:18Speaker 2: Detroy Lyons still at number two. Forty nine Ers went
- 21:24Speaker 2: up one spot to number three. The Ravens went up
- 21:29Speaker 2: with spot to number four. The Eagles went up to
- 21:32Speaker 2: number five. One spot. The Buccaneers jumped three spots to
- 21:36Speaker 2: number six. The Bills went up one spot to number seven.
- 21:40Speaker 2: The Houston Texans went two spots up to number eight.
- 21:46Speaker 2: Number nine went up two spots for the Dolphins. The
- 21:49Speaker 2: Packers dropped seven spots to number ten. The Steelers went
- 21:56Speaker 2: up four spots to number eleven. The Cowboys went up
- 22:00Speaker 2: seven spots to number twelve. The Chicago Bears stayed at
- 22:03Speaker 2: number thirteen. The Bengals went down seven spots to number fourteen.
- 22:11Speaker 2: Rams went up two spots to number fifteen. The Jets
- 22:17Speaker 2: dropped two spots to number sixteen. The Cleveland Browns went
- 22:22Speaker 2: down five spots to number seventeen. The San Diego Chargers
- 22:27Speaker 2: stayed the same at eighteen. The Falcons went down three
- 22:31Speaker 2: spots to number nineteen. Jaguars stayed the same at twenty
- 22:35Speaker 2: Seahawks won up one spot to twenty one. The Colts
- 22:38Speaker 2: dropped a spot to number twenty two. The Saints went
- 22:42Speaker 2: up a spot to twenty three. Vikings went up one
- 22:45Speaker 2: spot to twenty four. The Patriots jumped six spots at
- 22:48Speaker 2: number twenty five. The Arizona Cardinals jumped four spots number
- 22:52Speaker 2: twenty six. The Broncos dropped four spots to number twenty seven,
- 22:58Speaker 2: The Tennessee Titans dropped two to twenty eight. Commanders drop
- 23:03Speaker 2: two spots to twenty nine, the Raiders drop to two
- 23:06Speaker 2: spots to number thirty, Giants drop two spots number thirty one,
- 23:10Speaker 2: and of course the worst team two weeks in a
- 23:12Speaker 2: row was the Carolina Panthers. So there you go. There
- 23:17Speaker 2: is the power rankings going into week two. We'll see
- 23:20Speaker 2: who jumps the spot or goes down for next week.
- 23:24Speaker 2: I think the Bears jump a couple spots up after
- 23:27Speaker 2: winning over the Texans. I am calling the Bears to
- 23:30Speaker 2: win that game. I'm not calling a score yet because
- 23:32Speaker 2: I don't know who's gonna score and what they're gonna do,
- 23:36Speaker 2: but I do think they're gonna win. Alright, let's move
- 23:39Speaker 2: on to some NCED double A acton. Alright, So here
- 23:44Speaker 2: we go with the top twenty five in college. Let's
- 23:49Speaker 2: see who's ranking and where. Number twenty five is Northern
- 23:54Speaker 2: Illinois and IU is two and oher one and oh,
- 23:57Speaker 2: and I'm not gonna go through all that. We're just
- 23:59Speaker 2: gonna go with their overall so two and oh. Right
- 24:02Speaker 2: now for Northern Illinois and number twenty five. Number twenty
- 24:05Speaker 2: four is Boston College. They are two and oh. Right, now,
- 24:09Speaker 2: let's see number twenty three. Nebraska is at two and
- 24:12Speaker 2: O number twenty two Clebson at one and one. Number
- 24:17Speaker 2: twenty one, Iowa State at two and oh. Number twenty
- 24:20Speaker 2: is Arizona at two and O. Number nineteen is Louisville.
- 24:26Speaker 2: Louisville is two and oh. Also, number eighteen is Notre
- 24:29Speaker 2: Dame one and one. Number seventeen is my Michigan Wolverine
- 24:33Speaker 2: is not excited about that. At one and one, LSU
- 24:38Speaker 2: came in and number sixteen at one and one. Number
- 24:42Speaker 2: fifteen is Oklahoma. Suitters two and O. Number fourteen is
- 24:47Speaker 2: Kansas State at two and O. Thirteen is Oklahoma State
- 24:51Speaker 2: at two and O. Utah is two and oh. And
- 24:55Speaker 2: number twelve USC is two and O. Number one eleven.
- 25:00Speaker 2: Number ten is the University of Miami at two and O.
- 25:05Speaker 2: Number nine is Oregon at two and oh. Okay, so
- 25:10Speaker 2: all these last eight teams are two and oh. I'm
- 25:12Speaker 2: just putting that out there, all right. Penn State at
- 25:15Speaker 2: number eight. Number seven is Tennessee. Number six is Missouri.
- 25:21Speaker 2: Number five is Old miss Number four is Alabama. Roll Tide.
- 25:27Speaker 2: Number three is Ohio, State, number two is Texas, and
- 25:31Speaker 2: then of course the number one is still the Georgia Bulldogs.
- 25:36Speaker 2: So there you have it. Those are your top twenty
- 25:38Speaker 2: five teams in NC Double A right now. Now, let's
- 25:42Speaker 2: go in two talk about last week some let's pick
- 25:45Speaker 2: and choose some last week games to talk about. So
- 25:48Speaker 2: week two, that's week one. We don't want that, okay,
- 25:52Speaker 2: So Week two, everybody saw the big upset. Well, it's
- 25:55Speaker 2: not an upset. It's upset to be because I'm a
- 25:57Speaker 2: Michigan fan. It's not really an upset though. But number
- 26:01Speaker 2: two Texas beat the numbers now seventeen Michigan. They were
- 26:06Speaker 2: number nine at the time, I believe number nine or
- 26:09Speaker 2: ten thirty one to twelve. That was sad. Oklahoma State
- 26:13Speaker 2: number thirteen beat Arkansas number unranked thirty nine to thirty one.
- 26:19Speaker 2: The ranked fourteen Kansas State one thirty four to twenty
- 26:24Speaker 2: seven over two Lane. The number eight rank Penn State
- 26:27Speaker 2: be Bowling Green thirty four to twenty seven. Georgia, the
- 26:32Speaker 2: number one ranked team won forty eight to three over
- 26:37Speaker 2: Tennessee Tech. Let's see number twenty five Northern Illinois be
- 26:44Speaker 2: number eighteen Notre Dame sixteen to fourteen. Number twelve rank
- 26:49Speaker 2: Utah won twenty three to twelve over Baylor. Let's see
- 26:54Speaker 2: any other good ones. Number twenty one Iowa State one
- 26:58Speaker 2: twenty to nineteen over Iowa. University of Miami won fifty
- 27:04Speaker 2: six to nine over Florida A and M. Good lord,
- 27:07Speaker 2: they're ranked two. I forget what their ranking was, but
- 27:10Speaker 2: it's not showing up on here. Florida. Number South Florida
- 27:15Speaker 2: lost to number four ranked Alabama forty two to sixteen. Wow.
- 27:20Speaker 2: Number seven Tennessee won fifty one to ten over North
- 27:23Speaker 2: Carolina State. Ohio State won fifty six to nothing over WMU.
- 27:30Speaker 2: That's a blowout. That's brilli it. Arizona'll be Northern Arizona
- 27:38Speaker 2: twenty two to ten. And then, of course the number
- 27:40Speaker 2: eleven USC Trojans won forty eight to nothing over Utah State. Okay,
- 27:46Speaker 2: so this weekend for football, Friday Night football under the
- 27:51Speaker 2: lights on Friday Night will be the number fourteen Kansas
- 27:54Speaker 2: State versus the number twenty Arizona. That'll be a good game.
- 27:58Speaker 2: And that's Friday at seven. Saturday is the rest of
- 28:01Speaker 2: the games. We've got number thirteen ranked Oklahoma State versus Tulsa.
- 28:05Speaker 2: I'm only gonna say they're ranked. If they're ranked, I'm
- 28:08Speaker 2: not gonna say the other team is not, because I
- 28:11Speaker 2: think by now everybody knows this. Number seventeen ranked Michigan
- 28:15Speaker 2: My Wolverines will be facing Arkansas State on Saturday in Michigan.
- 28:21Speaker 2: That takes place at eleven o'clock. Number four Alabama Roll
- 28:26Speaker 2: Tide takes on Wisconsin. LSU, ranked number sixteen faces South Carolina.
- 28:33Speaker 2: The twenty fourth rank Boston College takes on number six
- 28:37Speaker 2: rank Missouri. Let's see Saturday afternoon after twoint thirty Ball
- 28:43Speaker 2: State takes on the number ten ranked Miami. Number nine
- 28:47Speaker 2: ranked Oregon takes on Oregon State. Number fifteen, Oklahoma takes
- 28:54Speaker 2: on Too Lane. The number eighteen Notre Dame Fighting Irish
- 28:58Speaker 2: take on Purdue. Number twelve. Utah takes on Utah State.
- 29:04Speaker 2: Number five old Myss takes on Wake Forest. Let's see
- 29:08Speaker 2: this is Saturday evening now, Texas number ranked number two
- 29:14Speaker 2: takes on UTSA Northern Iowa against Nebraska. Number one. Georgia
- 29:21Speaker 2: takes on Kentucky, and Saturday night, Kent State takes on
- 29:28Speaker 2: the number seven ranked Tennessee. So that is all your
- 29:32Speaker 2: games for this Saturday. Hopefully I mentioned your team. There's
- 29:35Speaker 2: probably a few that might have been left off this list,
- 29:38Speaker 2: but you get the drift. Like I said, I don't
- 29:43Speaker 2: predict college like I do the NFL. It's just like
- 29:46Speaker 2: I just go over with you. But yeah, I'm not
- 29:50Speaker 2: proud of Michigan right now. Not a good showing against Texas.
- 29:54Speaker 2: You know, you would think, knowing that it's a ranked team,
- 29:57Speaker 2: that you would go out there and play tough, and
- 30:00Speaker 2: they just didn't. So yeah, I was really not happy
- 30:05Speaker 2: with that. It was not a good showing at all
- 30:08Speaker 2: against a good ring team. You would think that the
- 30:12Speaker 2: defending national champion Michigan Wolverines would want to play stronger.
- 30:17Speaker 2: Now they have to come out this weekend and they
- 30:18Speaker 2: need to crush a non ranked team, like they better
- 30:22Speaker 2: win like fifty one to zero in that game, Like
- 30:25Speaker 2: don't give up anything, just go out there like dogs
- 30:28Speaker 2: and just beat them. But yeah, so we'll see what that.
- 30:31Speaker 2: We'll see what happens. I'll let everybody know next week.
- 30:33Speaker 2: Moving on to some WWE let's talk about Bad Blood,
- 30:38Speaker 2: which takes place October fifth. That's right, it is on
- 30:42Speaker 2: my birthday. I'm excited. Bad Blood is going to return
- 30:46Speaker 2: October twenty twenty four, which is a very significant date
- 30:51Speaker 2: and has to do with the fact that WWE has
- 30:53Speaker 2: dusted off the premium live event for the first time
- 30:56Speaker 2: in twenty years. The first ever bad Blood was October fifth,
- 31:02Speaker 2: nineteen ninety seven. That's right. That was a Sunday and
- 31:06Speaker 2: I saw the first bad Blood with my friends on
- 31:09Speaker 2: my birthday at home when ordered the pay per view.
- 31:12Speaker 2: It was fun. That was a hell and a Cell match,
- 31:15Speaker 2: the first ever Hell in a Cell match between the
- 31:18Speaker 2: Undertaker and Shawn Michaels. Was a great matchup, awesome and
- 31:24Speaker 2: I'm excited for this. They did change the time on
- 31:28Speaker 2: it because UFC is later that night, so they changed
- 31:32Speaker 2: the time and it's gonna be kicking off at five
- 31:34Speaker 2: pm Central Time, so six pm Eastern instead of seven.
- 31:39Speaker 2: They originally had it marked for seven. Now it's going
- 31:42Speaker 2: at six, which is five by time, So yeah, make
- 31:46Speaker 2: sure you watch that right now. Match wise, it's gonna
- 31:49Speaker 2: be on Peacock in Canada, you can watch it on
- 31:52Speaker 2: sport Net Plus and on United Kingdoms still the WWE network.
- 31:57Speaker 2: It's gonna be taking place from the State Arena in Atlanta, Georgia,
- 32:02Speaker 2: where they can hold twenty one thousand fans, and there
- 32:05Speaker 2: are still some tickets available through Ticketmaster so far. The
- 32:10Speaker 2: Hottest Few to twenty twenty four is one of the
- 32:12Speaker 2: only matches on the Babelay card right now. CM Punk
- 32:17Speaker 2: will face off against Drew McIntire one more time in
- 32:22Speaker 2: a Helen a Cell match. Why not after bringing back
- 32:26Speaker 2: an event twenty years later on the date that the
- 32:32Speaker 2: first one was ever twenty seven years ago. That's right,
- 32:38Speaker 2: ninety seven was twenty seven years ago. Shawn Michael's The
- 32:42Speaker 2: Undertaker made history when they were the first two men
- 32:45Speaker 2: to ever step into the hell INSL. Now everybody remembers
- 32:48Speaker 2: fully an Undertaker for the hell of cl match, but
- 32:52Speaker 2: not a lot of people remember. And I may go
- 32:54Speaker 2: back and watch this match today when I get done
- 32:57Speaker 2: with this, see them Punk and Drew backintire, though, are
- 33:00Speaker 2: gonna bring the house down. It's gonna be brutal, and
- 33:04Speaker 2: it's gonna bring down the curtain. This most likely will
- 33:07Speaker 2: be the main event, even if there is title matches.
- 33:10Speaker 2: This will be the main event just because of the
- 33:12Speaker 2: history of the two of them, the fact that both
- 33:14Speaker 2: of them have taken a match. Drew mccattyre of course,
- 33:17Speaker 2: took the first match at SummerSlam see Him Punk one.
- 33:20Speaker 2: Last month at the pay per view, he beat Drew
- 33:24Speaker 2: McIntyre in a bull roll match. So now here we go,
- 33:31Speaker 2: this is gonna be fun. Liv Morgan is going to
- 33:34Speaker 2: be taking on Ria Ripley for the woman's world title.
- 33:37Speaker 2: We knew this was coming Bash in Berlin. We saw
- 33:40Speaker 2: her face off with the tag team match. They needed
- 33:43Speaker 2: this match, and I think Rial Ripley wins, but I'm
- 33:46Speaker 2: not gonna go over. I'm not gonna go over the
- 33:50Speaker 2: whole thing right now. And then Damian Priest and Finnbaler,
- 33:56Speaker 2: that's definitely gonna happen. You know what's gonna happen. We
- 33:59Speaker 2: all know it's gonna happen because Finnbaler is responsible partially
- 34:04Speaker 2: for Damian Priest losing at SummerSlam. So we've got that.
- 34:09Speaker 2: These are the only matches right now that it's showing.
- 34:11Speaker 2: So obviously we're gonna see more matches added to the card,
- 34:17Speaker 2: probably a title defense out of Cody. I'm sure he's
- 34:19Speaker 2: gonna defend his title. Goother maybe, but you know, they
- 34:23Speaker 2: may give the world title arrest for an event. They
- 34:26Speaker 2: don't need to do it at every pay per view.
- 34:28Speaker 2: He's done two good matches. He did Summer Slam Match
- 34:31Speaker 2: and he won it. Then Bash of Berlin he had
- 34:34Speaker 2: the good match, so not really a reason to just
- 34:37Speaker 2: go out there and necessarily defend it. Every month they
- 34:41Speaker 2: will have a world title match, I'm sure out of something.
- 34:45Speaker 2: So you're either gonna see Cody or goonther one of
- 34:47Speaker 2: the two. But I think we are aiming at Cody
- 34:52Speaker 2: and and uh maybe a Jacob Fattu or solo, so
- 34:56Speaker 2: they're aiming for that. We'll see what happens. Don't forget too.
- 34:59Speaker 2: This Friday Spackdown moves to the USA Network, so if
- 35:04Speaker 2: you turn on Fox at seven o'clock, you're not gonna
- 35:07Speaker 2: see it. It's not on there no more. So yeah,
- 35:10Speaker 2: we're gonna see what happens. But all right, that's it
- 35:12Speaker 2: so bad Blood. We're gonna see what happens. We definitely
- 35:16Speaker 2: are gonna have see him Punk and Drew. Looks like
- 35:18Speaker 2: we're having to live Morgan Rhea Ripley for the woman's
- 35:21Speaker 2: title and Davian Priest versus Finballer. So that's gonna be
- 35:25Speaker 2: a really good event so far. I'm excited for it.
- 35:27Speaker 2: Like I said, it's on my birthday. How could you
- 35:29Speaker 2: not be how could you not be excited to watch
- 35:31Speaker 2: on your birthday? That's really cool, all right, So let's
- 35:34Speaker 2: move on now to and that's it for sports. Oh
- 35:38Speaker 2: one last thing I wanted to go over really quick
- 35:42Speaker 2: before I did that. One last sports thing I wanted
- 35:46Speaker 2: to go over. This the top ten athletes of all
- 35:49Speaker 2: time according to chat GPT. Okay, so here's the top
- 35:53Speaker 2: ten list, and let me know if you agree with this.
- 35:55Speaker 2: I'm also gonna do a TikTok on my sports page
- 35:58Speaker 2: either later or tomorrow about this and we'll see how
- 36:01Speaker 2: many people agree or disagree. Number ten. Number ten is
- 36:06Speaker 2: Lionel Messi, the soccer player. Number nine baseball player Babe Ruth.
- 36:11Speaker 2: Number eight, I believe this is I don't know. It's
- 36:15Speaker 2: the flag with the plus sign in the middle of it.
- 36:20Speaker 2: I don't honestly know which flag, but it's Roger Federer.
- 36:24Speaker 2: I believe he's a tennis player. Number seven Michael Phelps
- 36:28Speaker 2: the swimmer. Number six Jackie Robinson baseball player, amazing first
- 36:33Speaker 2: black man to ever play to leave the Negro League
- 36:37Speaker 2: and play in Major League Baseball. They have a day
- 36:40Speaker 2: for him every year where everybody wears the number forty two.
- 36:43Speaker 2: If you haven't seen the movie forty two about his life,
- 36:48Speaker 2: It was played by Chadwick Boseman, the actor from Black
- 36:53Speaker 2: Panther who passed away. He was in that really good
- 36:56Speaker 2: he played in Amazing Jackie Robinson. Number five Pele the
- 37:00Speaker 2: soccer player. Number four Muhammad Ali everybody knows a boxer.
- 37:06Speaker 2: Number three is yustain Bolt the runner. Number two Serena Williams,
- 37:11Speaker 2: the tennis player and number one goat of all time.
- 37:15Speaker 2: Michael Jordan, Yes, from the Chicago Bulls. I know its
- 37:20Speaker 2: Lebron didn't make this list. G I wonder why, but
- 37:23Speaker 2: let me know. Email me at my email address. It's
- 37:26Speaker 2: gonna be in the show notes, and let me know
- 37:28Speaker 2: what you think. Who should have made this list? Who
- 37:32Speaker 2: shouldn't have made this list? You know? Is the list
- 37:35Speaker 2: right or not? Let me know what's going on? All right,
- 37:38Speaker 2: let's move on to entertainments. All right, So here we

- 45:55Speaker 2: January archived, so that could be from last year. Oh
- 46:00Speaker 2: I bet this was last year's Okay, yeah, because hold
- 46:04Speaker 2: on one second, yep. This is because a lot of
- 46:07Speaker 2: order organized crime is not on this year. It's coming
- 46:11Speaker 2: in second part of the season, but it's gonna be

- 46:30Speaker 2: like hearing it on here, so let's move on to
- 46:32Speaker 2: the next part of our entertainment section of the show.
- 46:37Speaker 2: So last night I was off work, which is very
- 46:40Speaker 2: rare ont of Wednesday night, but we had something at
- 46:42Speaker 2: my son's school and I decided to play hooky for
- 46:44Speaker 2: the night, so I didn't go into work last night,
- 46:47Speaker 2: so I actually got to watch part of the VMA's
- 46:50Speaker 2: last night, which I haven't seen the VMAs in years
- 46:53Speaker 2: because the last few years I've been working on Wednesdays
- 46:56Speaker 2: when they're usually on, or Sundays when they're on the
- 46:59Speaker 2: days but usually around while I'm at work. I'm only
- 47:03Speaker 2: off Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and you never get anything
- 47:05Speaker 2: good like that on those days. So last night I
- 47:08Speaker 2: actually got to see some of it. Eminem kicked off
- 47:11Speaker 2: the show performing Abercadabra and his song with Jelly Roll
- 47:16Speaker 2: Someone Save Me. Those are good and then from there,
- 47:21Speaker 2: I mean the show is hosted by Megan thee Stallion.
- 47:24Speaker 2: She did pretty good. She did a good job on it.
- 47:26Speaker 2: And here was the list of all the winners. So
- 47:29Speaker 2: let's go over. For the people who haven't seen it yet,
- 47:31Speaker 2: this is a spoiler. If you don't care to see
- 47:34Speaker 2: it and you just want to know who won, here
- 47:36Speaker 2: we go. I'll do it for you. So Video of
- 47:38Speaker 2: the Year the winner was Taylor Swift featuring post Malone.
- 47:41Speaker 2: For Fortnite, Artists of the Year went to Taylor Swift.
- 47:45Speaker 2: All Song of the Year went to Sabrina Carpenter. Now,
- 47:50Speaker 2: for those who don't remember Sabrina Carpenter and don't know
- 47:53Speaker 2: her as a singer, you will probably remember her if
- 47:56Speaker 2: you've ever watched the show Girl Meets World on Disney.
- 47:59Speaker 2: She was the friend of Riley. Her name was Maya,
- 48:04Speaker 2: and yeah, she was the friend of hers. And after
- 48:07Speaker 2: that show ended, she got more into singing and now
- 48:10Speaker 2: she's a singer and she won an MTV Video Music
- 48:13Speaker 2: Award for her song Espresso. Best New Artist went to

- 48:38Speaker 2: yesterday from work the night before, as I fell asleep
- 48:42Speaker 2: watching it, so I'll have to watch some of it.
- 48:45Speaker 2: The winner of Best R and B went to Siza
- 48:48Speaker 2: for Snooze. Best Alternative winner was Benson Boone. Beautiful Things

- 49:06Speaker 2: see that. That was pretty good. He'd be out You Two,
- 49:09Speaker 2: Kings of Leon, Green Day, Coldplay, and bon Jovi. That
- 49:13Speaker 2: whole category except for maybe oh yeah, Kings of Leon
- 49:19Speaker 2: are older too. That whole category are rock groups and
- 49:23Speaker 2: sing and singers that I grew up watching. I mean,
- 49:26Speaker 2: you have bon Jovi, Coldplay, I listened to Green Day,
- 49:30Speaker 2: Kings of Leon and you two. Yeah, that's amazing. Best
- 49:34Speaker 2: Latin went to Anita. I'm not gonna say the name

- 50:41Speaker 2: May went to Lafai, June went to Lee Surpam, and
- 50:46Speaker 2: July went to the Warning. Don't even know what that is,
- 50:50Speaker 2: but whatever it was, that was pretty funny and the
- 50:55Speaker 2: VMA's most iconic iconic performance. Here was the list of
- 50:59Speaker 2: dominee for that Beyonce, Love on Top, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Madonna,
- 51:04Speaker 2: Missy Elliott for Like a Virgin in Hollywood, I'm Mad,
- 51:07Speaker 2: I'm the Real Slim Shady and The Way I Am,
- 51:10Speaker 2: Katy Perry Roar, Lady Gaga, Paparazzi, Madonna, Like a Virgin,

- 51:28Speaker 2: Let's see Best Trending Video went to Megan thee Stallion
- 51:32Speaker 2: featuring Yuki Chiba with Mamushi. Best Group? Who won it? Okay?
- 51:44Speaker 2: Why is this not gone? Oh that's weird. They never
- 51:48Speaker 2: said it, so hold on, let me try to find out. Okay, So,
- 51:53Speaker 2: according to this, the best group went to the group seventeen.
- 51:57Speaker 2: They won that one for some reason in Billboard's release
- 52:01Speaker 2: of this did not have that. So let's see best group. Yeah,
- 52:06Speaker 2: that didn't that didn't go. So, yes, the Group seventeen
- 52:11Speaker 2: won it. The Song of Summer. There's a lot of
- 52:14Speaker 2: songs on this list, but the winner was Taylor Swift
- 52:17Speaker 2: and Post Malone for Fortnite Best Direction went to Taylor

- 53:02Speaker 2: Best art Direction went to Megan thee Stallion for bo
- 53:06Speaker 2: A and it looks like that's it. Yep, that is it.
- 53:12Speaker 2: So that was the list of the vm A winners
- 53:16Speaker 2: from last night. It was a pretty soon show all
- 53:18Speaker 2: in all, from what I saw, I didn't see the
- 53:21Speaker 2: whole thing, of course, I did get have. I missed
- 53:24Speaker 2: Eminem winning his award, but I did catch the beginning
- 53:27Speaker 2: where he opened up the show performing Abricadabra. So that
- 53:32Speaker 2: was pretty good. But yeah, it was good. So let's
- 53:35Speaker 2: move on now really quick to the CMA Awards. CMA
- 53:43Speaker 2: Awards announced their full list of nominees for the show.
- 53:51Speaker 2: For a minute, when I was popping up, I thought
- 53:53Speaker 2: it's a Taylor Swift. I'm like, she's not country anymore,
- 53:57Speaker 2: not that I know of. But we'll see. Maybe one
- 54:00Speaker 2: day she'll go back to a country album. She was
- 54:02Speaker 2: good at country Beyonce. I feel she. I heard she
- 54:06Speaker 2: got snubbed and these awards too because her album did
- 54:09Speaker 2: really well and nothing. So we'll see what happens there. Right,
- 54:15Speaker 2: Let's see, let's go over this list of nominees. All right,
- 54:22Speaker 2: So the fifty eighth Annual Country Music Association Awards nominees

- 54:37Speaker 2: with seven, followed by Cody Johnson and Chris Stapleton with
- 54:41Speaker 2: five nominations, and Post Malone and Lady Wilson with each four.

- 54:51Speaker 2: Luke Comb's, Charlie Hansome, Hoskins, Jelly Roll, Megan Morani, Casey
- 54:57Speaker 2: Musgraves all secured three nominations. But missing from the list
- 55:03Speaker 2: is Beyonce, who made history by oh becoming the first
- 55:07Speaker 2: black woman to come in at number one on the
- 55:09Speaker 2: Top Country Album's chart and she did not get it,
- 55:13Speaker 2: But here we go. Fiftieth Annual CMA Awards will air

- 1:05:21Speaker 2: an attorney. That was a good movie. May Sally want
- 1:05:23Speaker 2: to watch that one again. He was in Patriot Games
- 1:05:26Speaker 2: of Harrison Ford. Let's see the Hunt for Red October.
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: Played Admiral Greer in that one too. He was in
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: Three Fugitives, Feel the Dreams. These are all the good movies,
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: I said, both coming to Americas. So he's been in
- 1:05:44Speaker 2: a ton of movies. Great actor, one of my favorites.
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: Rest in peace to James Earl Jones at the age
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: of ninety three. Let's go into the box office. We'll
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: kick the show finally off and at the end with
- 1:05:59Speaker 2: our office, where did Beetlejuice come in? Let's find out? Alright,
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: So let's see number ten in its first week of
- 1:06:12Speaker 2: release with Brandy the Front Room did one point seven
- 1:06:17Speaker 2: million in the theaters same total gross in the first
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: weekend outs. Number nine, Despicable Me four came in at
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: the number nine spot with the weekend gross of one
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: point eight million, still at three hundred and fifty eight
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: million and ten weeks. The Channing Tato movie Blink Twice
- 1:06:37Speaker 2: came in number eight with two point one million dollars
- 1:06:40Speaker 2: a total gross of twenty one million in three weeks.
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: Number seven, the movie Twisters did two point two million
- 1:06:47Speaker 2: at the box office last weekend two hundred and sixty
- 1:06:50Speaker 2: five million dollar gross in eight weeks. Number six to
- 1:06:53Speaker 2: Forge did a weekend gross of three million, twenty two
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: million total in three weeks. Blake Lively's movie It ends
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: with Us at number five a weekend gross of three
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: point seven million, one hundred and forty two million total
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: gross in five weeks, coming in at number four. Still
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: hanging in there, Alien Romulus in its fourth week did
- 1:07:18Speaker 2: three point nine million dollars at the box office. It
- 1:07:21Speaker 2: has made a total of ninety eight million. Number three
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: is the movie Reagan, with a weekend gross of four
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: point eight million total gross of nineteen million in two weeks.
- 1:07:33Speaker 2: Number two here it is Deadpool and Wolverine still brought
- 1:07:37Speaker 2: in seven million dollars last weekend six hundred and fifteen
- 1:07:43Speaker 2: million dollars, and it's been out for seven weeks already,
- 1:07:47Speaker 2: and of course the number one movie at the box
- 1:07:50Speaker 2: office last weekend, not a shocker Beatlejuice. Beetlejuice, the long
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: awaited sequel with Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder, and Catherine O'Hara,
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: with newcomer Oh why is it? Jenna Ortega. It's stood
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: by mind for a second and directed by Tim Burton,
- 1:08:08Speaker 2: came in at number one with one hundred and eleven
- 1:08:11Speaker 2: million dollars in its opening weekend, with a total gross
- 1:08:15Speaker 2: of one hundred and twenty six million. Now people ask me,
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: what is the total gross compared to the weekend gross?
- 1:08:21Speaker 2: Why is it higher? Because I believe Now I might
- 1:08:25Speaker 2: be wrong on this, and if I'm wrong, email me,
- 1:08:27Speaker 2: but I believe that the total gross is also anything
- 1:08:31Speaker 2: it's done the rest of the week. So that was
- 1:08:34Speaker 2: the weekend release, but it's been It's today's Thursday, so
- 1:08:39Speaker 2: that is a total gross of what it's made probably Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday,
- 1:08:44Speaker 2: and maybe probably up till yesterday, So it made one
- 1:08:48Speaker 2: hundred million in the box office that weekend, but it
- 1:08:51Speaker 2: made another fourteen million, fifteen million in this during the
- 1:08:58Speaker 2: week you know, the days leading up to today. So
- 1:09:01Speaker 2: that's why it's a different total gross after the first week.
- 1:09:05Speaker 2: Now you're not gonna know that after the first week
- 1:09:08Speaker 2: because I once to get into the second weekend. Now
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: it's just a total gross of everything. So yeah, I mean,
- 1:09:14Speaker 2: you just look at it that way, but that's how
- 1:09:15Speaker 2: I look at it. That is one hundred and eleven
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: million just in the three days from Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
- 1:09:22Speaker 2: The rest of the twenty six is from Monday, Tuesday
- 1:09:25Speaker 2: and Wednesday, which makes sense because people still go to
- 1:09:28Speaker 2: the movies during the week after work, after school, whatever,
- 1:09:31Speaker 2: you know, weekends they go, but people go during the
- 1:09:33Speaker 2: week too. So uh yeah, So that's it. That is
- 1:09:38Speaker 2: it for the show. Next week, we've got another big week.
- 1:09:41Speaker 2: We'll find out where Beetlejuice Beetlejuice fell, did stay at
- 1:09:45Speaker 2: number one or did Deadpool and Wolverine takeover. They're a
- 1:09:48Speaker 2: number one spot again. Out of seven weeks, Deadpool and
- 1:09:51Speaker 2: Wolverine was number one five of them. That's amazing. That's
- 1:09:55Speaker 2: a good run so far for it, and it's still
- 1:09:57Speaker 2: gonna be out another few weeks. I'm sure in the
- 1:09:59Speaker 2: theater well, as they're making money, they're gonna keep it going.
- 1:10:02Speaker 2: But I can't wait to watch it. I'll probably rent
- 1:10:04Speaker 2: it once it comes streaming, which should be soon. Next week,
- 1:10:09Speaker 2: we're gonna go over Week two of the NFL, Week
- 1:10:13Speaker 2: three of the NCAA football. We will also talk a
- 1:10:17Speaker 2: little Blackhawks and Bulls because the preseason should be starting
- 1:10:22Speaker 2: in training camps in the next couple of weeks, so
- 1:10:24Speaker 2: we are ready for some hockey. We'll also talk a
- 1:10:28Speaker 2: little baseball, which I haven't done in a while, but
- 1:10:30Speaker 2: we're gonna talk a little baseball next week because there's
- 1:10:35Speaker 2: only a couple weeks left. Let's start talking playoffs. Let's
- 1:10:39Speaker 2: talk where everybody is, wildcard spots, people in the hunt
- 1:10:42Speaker 2: for the wildcard, how bad the White Sox are playing
- 1:10:45Speaker 2: right now. We'll talk about all that next week too,
- 1:10:47Speaker 2: so make sure you come on back and then don't forget.
- 1:10:50Speaker 2: Every single Monday, I do my Chicago Bears a day
- 1:10:56Speaker 2: after show where I'll talk about the game, where we were,
- 1:11:01Speaker 2: what it looked like. It's a postgame show, but the
- 1:11:03Speaker 2: day after basically, so make sure you join me for that.
- 1:11:07Speaker 2: I'll let everybody know in the show notes. It should
- 1:11:10Speaker 2: be everywhere that I post this show. It should be
- 1:11:15Speaker 2: just like in there with it. So it'll just say
- 1:11:18Speaker 2: a different name on the show, but it should be
- 1:11:20Speaker 2: just where everything else is. Because I did put it
- 1:11:23Speaker 2: to iHeartRadio and to Spotify, but if you listen here,
- 1:11:28Speaker 2: it should be posted here too. It'll be under two
- 1:11:31Speaker 2: different shows, so I have this one and then I
- 1:11:33Speaker 2: have that one. You'll see it all on there, but
- 1:11:36Speaker 2: I'll see everybody next week. Enjoy the last few weekends
- 1:11:39Speaker 2: of summer because spring or fall actually starts next weekend,
- 1:11:45Speaker 2: so this is the last official weekend of the summer,
- 1:11:49Speaker 2: so enjoy it. Get out there, go do some stuff,
- 1:11:54Speaker 2: Go see a good movie, watch some football, get ready
- 1:11:57Speaker 2: to get your hoodies and your jeans out if you
- 1:11:59Speaker 2: have it already, do a couple more summer bonfires and barbecues,
- 1:12:03Speaker 2: and I will see everybody next week. Until then, stay safe,
- 1:12:06Speaker 2: stay healthy, and I love you all very much. See
- 1:12:10Speaker 2: you later, peace and
