- 0:00Speaker 1: You're listening to the Mark Simone Show.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Hey, let's take the calls eight hundred three two one
- 0:09Speaker 2: zero seven tennis and number. Let's go to Mike in Florida. Mike,
- 0:12Speaker 2: how you doing. Good morning, Mark, Good morning Mike.
- 0:16Speaker 1: And that's it. In that SoundBite you played of the
- 0:20Speaker 1: mayor of Minneapolis, I noticed something in the last couple
- 0:24Speaker 1: of days about their stances on ice. He says, we're
- 0:27Speaker 1: not against ice doing what they're doing, We're just against
- 0:30Speaker 1: the way they're doing it. I've heard a couple other
- 0:32Speaker 1: sound bites from I think elan Omar said the same.
- 0:35Speaker 1: A couple of other politicians from Minnesota said the same thing.
- 0:38Speaker 1: So it seems like the Democrats.
- 0:40Speaker 3: Did some polling and they got some and they're like
- 0:43Speaker 3: reworking the frame of where they stand on all of
- 0:46Speaker 3: this stuff because the public obviously used in favor of it,
- 0:49Speaker 3: and so they've tweaked it a little bit and it
- 0:51Speaker 3: was very subtle, but it's just what they're good at.
- 0:54Speaker 2: Yeah, polling shows that people do want illegals taken off
- 0:58Speaker 2: the streets, and illegals who are obviously committing crimes, gang members, rapists, robbers,
- 1:03Speaker 2: of course, they want them arrested. Also, if you look
- 1:06Speaker 2: at Venezuela, something like sixty eight percent of Americans in
- 1:10Speaker 2: favor of Venezuela, something like seventy two percent of the
- 1:14Speaker 2: Hispanic community in favor of what we did in Venezuela.
- 1:17Speaker 2: Let's go to Kevin and nanuet. Kevin, how you doing, good.
- 1:21Speaker 4: Morning, Mark. Do you think Kamala is waiting for the
- 1:24Speaker 4: Tim Walls short story to go away and then she'll
- 1:27Speaker 4: amounts her candidacy?
- 1:29Speaker 2: Uh? Well, I don't think she has any shot at all.
- 1:33Speaker 2: I mean, she couldn't have had a more perfect setup
- 1:36Speaker 2: last than last time. It'll be much tougher this time,
- 1:38Speaker 2: and she couldn't win last time. Well, she run, Well,
- 1:42Speaker 2: she'll pretend to run. She'll try to run. They'll do
- 1:44Speaker 2: the secret polling and they'll know she can't win.
- 1:46Speaker 4: But I'm hungry for a solid we're solid, I know.
- 1:50Speaker 2: But she'll have to pretend to run to make herself
- 1:52Speaker 2: look more relevant, more important, because you want to make money.
- 1:55Speaker 2: You want to get your book deals, you want to
- 1:56Speaker 2: get people hiring your to do lobbying and also of stuff,
- 2:00Speaker 2: so you look like you're you know, are you gonna run?
- 2:03Speaker 2: She might be president? But she's not she's not gonna run.
- 2:07Speaker 2: Let's go to Bob in Connecticut. Bob, how you doing good?
- 2:10Speaker 5: Good?
- 2:10Speaker 4: How are you?
- 2:11Speaker 2: Let me check?
- 2:12Speaker 6: Okay, I just wanted to mention the fact that some
- 2:20Speaker 6: of the politicians up here in Connecticut, you know, they're
- 2:22Speaker 6: they're just out there agitating, trying to get our wives
- 2:27Speaker 6: and our daughters out to put them up against the
- 2:30Speaker 6: Ice agents. And I don't think it's too fair.
- 2:32Speaker 2: Yeah, you got some bad politicians in Connecticut. It's a
- 2:35Speaker 2: wonderful state. But that Chris Murphy is one wacko lunatic.
- 2:41Speaker 2: You got Bloomenthal, and they're just crazy left wingers who
- 2:45Speaker 2: lie and con people all the time. That governor he
- 2:49Speaker 2: could be okay. Sometimes sometimes he goes too far to
- 2:51Speaker 2: the left. But the guy was a business guy for years,
- 2:53Speaker 2: so he has somewhere in him there is some common sense.
- 2:58Speaker 2: Let's go to Vincent and Brooklyn and Vincent, how you
- 3:00Speaker 2: doing good.
- 3:01Speaker 5: Morning, Mark? Mark? I'm okay. You know what they have
- 3:04Speaker 5: to bring back, and that would stop a lot of
- 3:06Speaker 5: the crime. The City Council in New York. You'll notice
- 3:09Speaker 5: that the police officers no longer carry the nightstick. The
- 3:14Speaker 5: night sick is one of the greatest deterrens there is.
- 3:18Speaker 5: They should use it out and uh uh, the isations
- 3:21Speaker 5: should use it out wherever they're doing these busts and everything,
- 3:25Speaker 5: because I tell you there's no greater deterrent. You don't
- 3:28Speaker 5: even have to hit the person in the head. You
- 3:31Speaker 5: hit them in the tie between their knees and their hip,
- 3:35Speaker 5: and they'll have a wealth and a black and blue
- 3:38Speaker 5: on their leg that every time they take a shower,
- 3:41Speaker 5: they'll be reminded of what they do. They have to
- 3:45Speaker 5: blow back.
- 3:46Speaker 2: It was pretty good that night stick, and they would
- 3:49Speaker 2: hit them on the head.
- 3:49Speaker 1: Remember Curtis, you know I got hit on the head.
- 3:52Speaker 2: I can tell Mark.
- 3:55Speaker 5: Stop mom. Back in the day, they would hit you
- 3:59Speaker 5: on the head with that, and before they take you
- 4:01Speaker 5: to central book and they'd have to take you to
- 4:04Speaker 5: the ear to get your head sown up. And I
- 4:08Speaker 5: know because they alleged that I was running away from
- 4:11Speaker 5: a crime scene.
- 4:12Speaker 2: I can't answer that. That's hard to do that.
- 4:17Speaker 5: And marked out of nowhere, A police officers came out
- 4:20Speaker 5: of nowhere and cracked me right across the head with it.
- 4:24Speaker 2: Well, it's not politically correct. You're not allowed to do that.
- 4:27Speaker 2: I remember Curtis said he had a few what he
- 4:29Speaker 2: called wooden shampoos.
- 4:32Speaker 5: Well, I'm tired. It's a great deterror mark and it is.
- 4:36Speaker 5: When Stuke comes off from South Carolina asked him the
- 4:40Speaker 5: knight stick, the blackjack and the slapjack.
- 4:44Speaker 2: I know, but he can't. It's it's twenty twenty six.
- 4:47Speaker 2: You can't do that stuff anymore.
- 4:49Speaker 5: They'll make it stop them in their tracks.
- 4:51Speaker 2: May it works, It works. It did work. But Vincent
- 4:54Speaker 2: great talked to those old time cops. Yeah, great call, Vincent,
- 4:57Speaker 2: thanks for calling. Yeah, the knights to is gone. Then
- 5:00Speaker 2: they got that what do you call that thing? It's
- 5:02Speaker 2: like it's like a little handle and then it extends
- 5:06Speaker 2: you pull out the metal part. It becomes a baton. Yeah,
- 5:11Speaker 2: it's like a selfie stick where you're holding it and
- 5:14Speaker 2: then you extend it out like a four or five
- 5:16Speaker 2: feet I don't know what that thing actually does, but
- 5:19Speaker 2: you're right, the night stick was a a great deterrent. Hey, yeah,
- 5:24Speaker 2: when we come back and culture will be with us.
- 5:26Speaker 2: Let's see what she thinks about Minneapolis. That's what she
- 5:28Speaker 2: thinks about Mayor Fry. That's what she thinks about Mom,
- 5:31Speaker 2: Donnie and a lot to get to Coming up next
- 5:33Speaker 2: on seven to ten wor
