- 0:55Speaker 2: on a Monday morning, and get into some weekend winters.
- 1:00Speaker 2: That's how win it has done.
- 1:01Speaker 3: That's right.
- 1:02Speaker 2: We can't have anyone to freak out out there. Okay,
- 1:05Speaker 2: he's got a k bark apologer got too far. I'm
- 1:09Speaker 2: by winning. I went here and I went there. Now,
- 1:12Speaker 2: what are you doing what it takes to win a championship?
- 1:17Speaker 4: Wow?
- 1:17Speaker 2: Winning?
- 1:19Speaker 5: Well, then I guess there's only one thing left to do.
- 1:23Speaker 5: What's that win the whole thing?
- 1:30Speaker 2: All right? Weekend winner? How could that start anywhere else?
- 1:35Speaker 2: My guy, Antonio Gates, my former teammate in San Diego,
- 1:39Speaker 2: makes it to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Someone
- 1:43Speaker 2: who did not play college football, not a single snap
- 1:47Speaker 2: of college football. He only played college basketball at Kent State. Now,
- 1:52Speaker 2: he had a great football background in high school, and
- 1:55Speaker 2: there was an opportunity he was gonna sign with Michigan
- 1:57Speaker 2: State and Nick Saban, and you know, things happen. He
- 2:00Speaker 2: finds his way to Kent State and he's a basketball
- 2:02Speaker 2: player there. Certainly, you know, they had to run a
- 2:05Speaker 2: nice deep tournament run and he was kind of the
- 2:07Speaker 2: star of the run. And he got to try out.
- 2:10Speaker 2: They got to try out with the San Diego Chargers,
- 2:12Speaker 2: and obviously he makes the team, and I believe becomes
- 2:18Speaker 2: the first Hall of Famer to never take a snap
- 2:21Speaker 2: of college football. Right, that is correct? Okay, geting the
- 2:24Speaker 2: thumbs up. What a remarkable stat That is the first
- 2:28Speaker 2: ever to make the Pro Football Hall of Fame without
- 2:30Speaker 2: taking a single snap in college football. That's what Antonio
- 2:34Speaker 2: Gates does. Eight time Pro Bowl selection, three times first
- 2:38Speaker 2: team All Pro, two times second team All Pro. So
- 2:41Speaker 2: five times in his career. He was on the All
- 2:44Speaker 2: Pro team, on the NFL All Decade Team. In the
- 2:47Speaker 2: two thousands, Chargers all time leader in touchdown receptions, receptions
- 2:52Speaker 2: and receiving yards, the most touchdowns by any tight end
- 2:55Speaker 2: in NFL history. An incredible teammate, somebody that was always
- 3:01Speaker 2: in the foxhole. He was at every single workout in
- 3:04Speaker 2: the off season. It did not matter the time of year,
- 3:08Speaker 2: Gates was going to be there. If the building was
- 3:10Speaker 2: open and teammates were there, Gates was in the building
- 3:12Speaker 2: as well. One of the best human beings that he'll
- 3:15Speaker 2: ever meet. He had twenty one career games with over
- 3:18Speaker 2: one hundred yards receiving twenty one career multiple touchdown games
- 3:24Speaker 2: in the NFL. He had a touchdown in fifteen consecutive seasons.
- 3:28Speaker 2: That is also an NFL record for tight ends. So
- 3:32Speaker 2: my man, Antonio Gates, little clap for you. You deserve it.
- 3:36Speaker 2: For my money, the best tight end we've ever seen,
- 3:39Speaker 2: and the stats backed that up. He had such an
- 3:41Speaker 2: incredible connection with my guy pr seventeen. They knew what
- 3:45Speaker 2: each other, you know, was going to do before it
- 3:47Speaker 2: ever happened. They could look at each other and you'd
- 3:50Speaker 2: see a sixty yard touchdown. And so glad that Gates
- 3:54Speaker 2: got into the Hall of Fame. He should have been
- 3:55Speaker 2: a first ballot. Don't know how that falls to the cracks,
- 3:57Speaker 2: but either way he makes it on. There was so
- 4:00Speaker 2: cool to see all of my former teammates there with
- 4:02Speaker 2: him in Canton. Ohio Antonio Gates week in winter.
- 4:07Speaker 4: Shout out Antonio Gates baller. That's super exciting though, to
- 4:12Speaker 4: have a teammate get into the Hall of Fame.
- 4:16Speaker 2: Yeah, it means. It means a couple of things. Means
- 4:17Speaker 2: that you have some really good times. It means you're old.
- 4:19Speaker 6: Yeah, I would.
- 4:22Speaker 7: Feel like somebody is in the Hall of Fame like you.
- 4:26Speaker 2: I got a few more coming up, number, But you
- 4:29Speaker 2: know what, nothing, nothing makes you feel older than when
- 4:33Speaker 2: a teammate of yours or somebody who played against is
- 4:36Speaker 2: like a head coach in the NFL.
- 4:38Speaker 4: Yeah, that's like or their kids playing in college.
- 4:41Speaker 2: That's bad too.
- 4:42Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 4:43Speaker 2: Hell I got teammates John Runyon, his son plays for
- 4:45Speaker 2: the Packers.
- 4:47Speaker 7: That yeah, that one's yeah.
- 4:51Speaker 2: Come back from that.
- 4:52Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 4:52Speaker 7: So my we have a weekend loser, all right.
- 4:57Speaker 6: And so we talked about Summer Slam a little bit earlier.
- 5:00Speaker 4: We did, but mine doesn't really have to do with
- 5:03Speaker 4: the wrestler. So Russell Wilson was in attendance at SummerSlam
- 5:07Speaker 4: is at MetLife.
- 5:09Speaker 7: So where he's about to lead the team.
- 5:11Speaker 4: You know, they already named him their starting quarterback obviously,
- 5:15Speaker 4: I mean, but he set to lead the Giants this
- 5:18Speaker 4: coming season, signed a one year deal with them. In
- 5:21Speaker 4: the off season, him and his son were at the
- 5:25Speaker 4: at SummerSlam.
- 5:26Speaker 6: The camera shows them in.
- 5:28Speaker 4: The crowd, Like, I got booed at his own stadium.
- 5:33Speaker 2: That's good.
- 5:34Speaker 4: We gotta give him a weekend loser for that one,
- 5:36Speaker 4: because how are you gonna get booed in your own stadium.
- 5:38Speaker 7: I get you're new to it, but that's not a
- 5:40Speaker 7: good sign.
- 5:41Speaker 4: And I get that maybe yeah right, and I get
- 5:44Speaker 4: that maybe like they're.
- 5:45Speaker 6: Not the same.
- 5:46Speaker 4: Maybe the fandom doesn't cross over. I mean, I would
- 5:49Speaker 4: assume that it does.
- 5:51Speaker 7: Like people that.
- 5:51Speaker 4: Enjoy the WW probably enjoy football, So maybe that's like
- 5:56Speaker 4: like a plus that it wasn't a football quote unquote out.
- 6:00Speaker 4: But that's not a good look that you're getting booed
- 6:03Speaker 4: already in the stadium that you're gonna be playing in
- 6:06Speaker 4: all season long.
- 6:07Speaker 7: So we get loser. Russell Wilson mister unlimited.
- 6:12Speaker 2: Hey dangerous. Also like, don't wear your your logo like
- 6:18Speaker 2: everywhere you go. Take a night off.
- 6:21Speaker 4: OK, maybe that's why Matt.
- 6:26Speaker 6: It's like holding a mirror.
- 6:27Speaker 4: Matt wears his logo twenty four seven. He's like, I
- 6:31Speaker 4: don't like the mirror being held up to me.
- 6:33Speaker 2: Oh yeah, okay, shots fired.
- 6:39Speaker 8: Did people feel a certain way about Russell Wilson Giants fans,
- 6:42Speaker 8: your quarterback last year was Tommy DeVito and Daniel.
- 6:45Speaker 5: Jones, Like, let's let's right like you.
- 6:51Speaker 8: About Wilson, But it ain't like they've been a model
- 6:54Speaker 8: of consistency at that position. My weekend winter will be
- 6:59Speaker 8: Ricky Piersol of the San Francisco forty nine ers. Now,
- 7:02Speaker 8: over the weekend, it came out that he seems to
- 7:05Speaker 8: be unequivocally right, unequivocally Brock Party's top target. Now, that
- 7:11Speaker 8: in itself is okay, fine, but look at what happened
- 7:14Speaker 8: at their position. Recently got rid of Deebo Samuel Brandon Ayuk,
- 7:18Speaker 8: who the hell knows what's going on with him. That
- 7:20Speaker 8: was a terrible contract. Juwan Jennings was kind of your
- 7:23Speaker 8: top guy a year ago. He's trying to get traded
- 7:26Speaker 8: because he hasn't got a new contract yet. And Ricky
- 7:28Speaker 8: Piersol's reaping the benefits of all of this right now.
- 7:31Speaker 8: He is balling a training camp. Like for anybody, if
- 7:34Speaker 8: you're looking for someone out there to root for.
- 7:36Speaker 5: Make it Ricky Piersol. You saw what he went through
- 7:38Speaker 5: a year ago.
- 7:39Speaker 8: Man, he was kind of the fourth receiver. Now he
- 7:42Speaker 8: appears to be the top option with all these guys
- 7:45Speaker 8: either not living up to their contracts, getting traded, asking
- 7:48Speaker 8: to be traded, and sitting out of practice. Like Ricky
- 7:50Speaker 8: Piersoll is reaping the benefits of this right now. So
- 7:52Speaker 8: a Weekend winner is mister Piersoll.
- 7:56Speaker 2: Hell yeah, he uh Look, I mean all jokes aside it.
- 8:00Speaker 2: I mean, the man did get robbed and shot and
- 8:02Speaker 2: still came back in the same season, which is just
- 8:06Speaker 2: wild and it shows you just kind of what kind
- 8:08Speaker 2: of player he is.
- 8:09Speaker 5: And he came back quicker than Zion.
- 8:12Speaker 2: Yeah, it's fair.
- 8:13Speaker 5: And Zion like stubbed his too.
- 8:15Speaker 2: Yeah, so it was pinky. How about how about Arizona
- 8:20Speaker 2: State when Ricky pier saw Jayden Daniels, Ayuk and White
- 8:26Speaker 2: was it running back?
- 8:28Speaker 6: Wait, that's crazy.
- 8:30Speaker 2: I mean they were better that year, but like that's
- 8:32Speaker 2: egregious that they didn't win more games.
- 8:34Speaker 5: That's why, that's why Herr Edwards ain't there no more?
- 8:37Speaker 2: My god, what offensive talent they had there. Uh, I'm
- 8:42Speaker 2: gonna go Weekend Winter. One of my former position coaches
- 8:46Speaker 2: actually my first position coach at LSU. Derek Dooley, this man,
- 8:53Speaker 2: and it's not shocking, is running for senator in the
- 8:56Speaker 2: state of Georgia. Now, of course, his father, Vinced one
- 9:00Speaker 2: of the all time legendary coaches for the Georgia Bulldogs.
- 9:04Speaker 2: I think the field might even be named after Vince Dooley. So,
- 9:07Speaker 2: Derek Dooley was a lawyer, went to law school before
- 9:11Speaker 2: he became a coach, and so like we all knew
- 9:13Speaker 2: that that's who he was and that was his background,
- 9:16Speaker 2: and you could tell it like in everyday life that
- 9:17Speaker 2: that's what Derek Dooley. He's a lawyer, and it always
- 9:23Speaker 2: felt like he was going to do something outside of football. Now,
- 9:26Speaker 2: he was in football for a long time and he coached.
- 9:29Speaker 6: Was he the one that.
- 9:30Speaker 7: Said Flynn had fat ankles?
- 9:32Speaker 2: Yes, yeah, that would be him, great evaluator of talent. Yeah,
- 9:36Speaker 2: I mean he didn't miss anything. Oh fat ankle, cankle Flynn, right.
- 9:41Speaker 2: And so like he's been head coach at Tennessee, he
- 9:45Speaker 2: was the head coach at Louisian Tech, he was an
- 9:46Speaker 2: athletic director at Louisiana Tech. And he's been a position
- 9:49Speaker 2: coach in the NFL for the Cowboys for a long
- 9:52Speaker 2: time as well, But it always felt like he was
- 9:54Speaker 2: going to do something outside.
- 9:57Speaker 8: Oh he looks like right, So that's this is why
- 10:00Speaker 8: I pulled him up. You want to tell I mean,
- 10:03Speaker 8: five people you've met in life that look more like
- 10:06Speaker 8: a lawyer than that man right there.
- 10:07Speaker 4: Yeah, Old duels as a senator if I've ever seen
- 10:11Speaker 4: that guy, that guy is a politician.
- 10:13Speaker 5: He's a lawyer, lawmaker, whatever.
- 10:15Speaker 2: Yeah, and again, this man coached football for a very,
- 10:18Speaker 2: very very long time. He's with the Cowboys, he was
- 10:20Speaker 2: in the Missouri, he's with the New York Giants. I
- 10:22Speaker 2: think he was most recently with Alabama. But I mean
- 10:26Speaker 2: he played college football at UVA. So look, he's been
- 10:29Speaker 2: in the game for a long time. But he always
- 10:32Speaker 2: felt like somebody that was going to do something outside
- 10:35Speaker 2: of football. He just did. And so you know, hey,
- 10:37Speaker 2: week in winter, unless he loses the race, dere.
- 10:39Speaker 4: Dooley, if I could vote for him, I would just
- 10:43Speaker 4: off the fat ankles off, fat ankles off his Look
- 10:47Speaker 4: what state?
- 10:48Speaker 5: What state?
- 10:49Speaker 2: George, Georgia. Yeah, again, that's smart where his dad's an
- 10:53Speaker 2: absolute leg Yeah.
- 10:54Speaker 8: That makes that makes to him maybe stay away from
- 10:56Speaker 8: the state of Tennessee.
- 10:57Speaker 5: Maybe not that.
- 10:58Speaker 2: Yeah, he was a coach at Tennessee when t Bob
- 11:01Speaker 2: had the bad snap or like the snap on purpose
- 11:03Speaker 2: that was overheads that ended up winning l Shu the game.
- 11:06Speaker 3: Man.
- 11:06Speaker 8: I remember he's on the sidelines with his orange pants.
- 11:09Speaker 2: He did full orange rows. All right, any more, weekend
- 11:15Speaker 2: winners are losers.
- 11:16Speaker 7: We did it earlier during Taylor's top three.
- 11:18Speaker 4: But I want to give like another week in winner
- 11:20Speaker 4: to the Bristol Speedway MLB game because that is so awesome.
- 11:23Speaker 4: And then I don't know if you mentioned it, but
- 11:25Speaker 4: like whenever they would hit a home run, the car
- 11:27Speaker 4: would do a lab and the loser part of it
- 11:32Speaker 4: is like day one was not what's up? But they
- 11:35Speaker 4: got it together and the next day was great. So
- 11:38Speaker 4: that is awesome. I think the MLB needs to do
- 11:40Speaker 4: that at least once a year. They need to bring
- 11:42Speaker 4: the field a Dreams game back to it's so good
- 11:45Speaker 4: really quick. We can loser to Jazz Chisholm too, because
- 11:49Speaker 4: he there's a pop out at second he got doubled
- 11:54Speaker 4: off because he was going straight for it was just
- 11:56Speaker 4: like really bad bass running.
- 11:58Speaker 2: You forgot how me out there was?
- 12:00Speaker 4: Well he thought that the second baseman was gonna try
- 12:03Speaker 4: to like purposefully drop the ball, but they asked him
- 12:09Speaker 4: about it after the game and he was like, I
- 12:11Speaker 4: wouldn't do anything differently, and then Aaron Boone's like, well,
- 12:14Speaker 4: I'm not gonna take him out the game. And I
- 12:16Speaker 4: just feel like Aaron Boone is not the guy, like
- 12:20Speaker 4: he always comes up short whenever, like they played in
- 12:24Speaker 4: the World Series, couldn't get it done because.
- 12:26Speaker 6: Of stuff like that.
- 12:27Speaker 4: Little stuff like that like Joshism doing that, Garrett Cole
- 12:32Speaker 4: not covering first, Aaron Judge with that pop out like
- 12:37Speaker 4: very Arkansas vibes, but like it just it's gotta go
- 12:42Speaker 4: if you have no fear of your coach and being
- 12:45Speaker 4: like also saying they ask you about it after the
- 12:48Speaker 4: game and you're like, I wouldn't do anything different, Like
- 12:50Speaker 4: I feel like that's a bad reflection on like who's
- 12:52Speaker 4: leading the team.
- 12:53Speaker 7: So we can lose her to Justism and Aaron.
- 12:56Speaker 5: Boone one more weekend loser and we're.
- 12:59Speaker 6: Being some nigga.
- 13:00Speaker 5: I hate to do it.
- 13:01Speaker 2: I'll finish it off with the way.
- 13:03Speaker 8: The Dallas Cowboys Friday about two o'clock. Yeah, Michael Parsons
- 13:11Speaker 8: out a tweet on Twitter saying that he would like
- 13:14Speaker 8: to be traded. He is officially requested a trade from
- 13:16Speaker 8: the Dallas Mice or Michael one, whichever one you want,
- 13:20Speaker 8: whichever one plays for this team. According to Jerry Jones,
- 13:23Speaker 8: Uh that relationship seems to be very fractured. So the
- 13:27Speaker 8: report that came out on Friday was Micah and Jerry
- 13:30Speaker 8: Jones had a closed door meeting just them two. A
- 13:33Speaker 8: contract kind of like a handshake agreement was agreed on. Okay,
- 13:37Speaker 8: all good. Michael went to his agent and said, hey,
- 13:39Speaker 8: we just agreed on the deal. Here it is because
- 13:41Speaker 8: agent was like, no, I can get you more. We're
- 13:43Speaker 8: not doing that. Ye look at that however way you
- 13:46Speaker 8: want to. It pissed off Jerry. Jerry's like, okay, well,
- 13:50Speaker 8: this is the contract we agreed on. This is the
- 13:52Speaker 8: contract we're giving you. He's as hardheaded as any man
- 13:54Speaker 8: in sports. So it's like fit on what side you
- 13:57Speaker 8: look at it. But right now, Michael parsons he's done.
- 14:00Speaker 8: And a big reason is he said, Jerry Jones will
- 14:02Speaker 8: not allow my agent to be in meetings any longer. Yeah,
- 14:05Speaker 8: like that's a big problem. This guy is your franchise player.
- 14:08Speaker 8: I know, you think it's Dak Prescott, it's not. It's
- 14:11Speaker 8: Michah Parsons. You have to re sign this guy. It's
- 14:14Speaker 8: just it's it's a bad scene right now. And on
- 14:17Speaker 8: top of that, like this was a slap in the face,
- 14:19Speaker 8: which is why I mentioned it the other day. Jake
- 14:21Speaker 8: Ferguson is a fine tight end. You gave that guy
- 14:24Speaker 8: a fifty two million dollar contract when your best player's
- 14:27Speaker 8: begging for just a couple of mill moreh and you
- 14:30Speaker 8: gave Jake fergure Like, we're gonna make Jake Ferguson. Jake
- 14:33Speaker 8: Ferguson became the richest tight end in franchise history.
- 14:37Speaker 5: Four year, fifty two million dollar deal.
- 14:39Speaker 6: Wait, that's crazy when you're.
- 14:40Speaker 8: Trying to resign Michaeh Parson. It's like, I like Ferguson,
- 14:43Speaker 8: he's fine. I don't know if he's quite worth that,
- 14:46Speaker 8: but that's a slap in the face.
- 14:48Speaker 2: The highest pay when you tell your your wife or
- 14:50Speaker 2: your spouse like, oh you look fine. So you saying.
- 14:54Speaker 8: Schultz was better a couple of years ago, and they
- 14:56Speaker 8: let him walk because they didn't want to pay him.
- 14:58Speaker 8: Like it seems like every move year he's making in
- 15:00Speaker 8: the off season is just despite Micah Parsons, and he's
- 15:04Speaker 8: finally fed up with it. Guys like I, I might
- 15:07Speaker 8: be fed up with I don't know, well.
- 15:10Speaker 2: I think uh, I think everybody should.
- 15:12Speaker 6: Well, you have Stockholm syndrome, so.
- 15:17Speaker 2: Uh yeah, and you kind of did that to yourself.
- 15:19Speaker 2: All right, last one week in winter? All right? So
- 15:21Speaker 2: Luca Dona he signs a big extension, gonna be with
- 15:25Speaker 2: the La Lakers and looks great, looks in shape. Yeah.
- 15:28Speaker 2: Does anybody know what concert he went to to celebrate?
- 15:32Speaker 5: I feel like I saw this yet over the weekend.
- 15:35Speaker 2: No tell me huge weekend Winter Oasis, the Backstreet Boys
- 15:39Speaker 2: in Las Vegas. Let's go Luca. I was hoping, let's go,
- 15:46Speaker 2: well done, Luca. That's the way that I. Yeah, what's
- 15:49Speaker 2: that number. Let's see what was his extension? It was
- 15:52Speaker 2: something just whatever the max was. I don't know all
- 15:55Speaker 2: the millions in the world.
- 15:56Speaker 4: Eighty put his mansion up for sale in La I
- 16:00Speaker 4: don't know if that really means anything, but did he.
- 16:03Speaker 2: Get hurt putting the sign in the yard?
- 16:04Speaker 5: Probably? Yeah.
- 16:05Speaker 2: He did one hundred and sixty five million dollars over
- 16:08Speaker 2: three years for Luca celebrates going to see a little BSB.

- 18:03Speaker 2: All right, welcome back, yeah OTV here on this Monday morning.
- 18:07Speaker 2: Let's go ahead and get to our guys. Devin snow
- 18:10Speaker 2: A Ka hold the mayo, Dev, What is going on?
- 18:14Speaker 2: How we living? Sir?
- 18:15Speaker 3: Yo? What's up?
- 18:16Speaker 4: Bro?
- 18:17Speaker 3: Were living? Good Man? Just just bought my ticket to
- 18:19Speaker 3: LSU Clemson. Brush, I'm gonna be in Clemson.
- 18:22Speaker 2: Oh, you got boots on the ground. May You're gonna
- 18:25Speaker 2: be in South Carolina. Hold on, I don't know that.
- 18:29Speaker 2: I don't have you ever done anything like that, like
- 18:31Speaker 2: gone to an away game like that?
- 18:33Speaker 3: No, I'm not well. I've been the old mess. That's
- 18:35Speaker 3: it your away game that I've ever been to. And
- 18:40Speaker 3: the only Saints away game I've ever been to was
- 18:42Speaker 3: in twenty seventeen Camara's rookie year when I went to Minnesota.
- 18:46Speaker 3: Sam Bradford, chopter soun, are.
- 18:49Speaker 2: You got to You gotta tell me how this happened,
- 18:51Speaker 2: why it happened, Why you're choosing to go to Clemson,
- 18:55Speaker 2: South Carolina. Like, what's the plan going to be? Now,
- 18:57Speaker 2: I got to know everything.
- 18:59Speaker 3: Yeah, I think it's just one of them situations where like,
- 19:03Speaker 3: we need to win this game so bad that I
- 19:05Speaker 3: need to be that is that's you know what I'm saying.
- 19:10Speaker 3: And I just I don't see us losing, right I
- 19:14Speaker 3: just feel it right now. I just don't see us losing,
- 19:16Speaker 3: and I want to be that for that, you know
- 19:18Speaker 3: what I'm saying. Yep, I think that's really what it's about.
- 19:21Speaker 3: I don't know much about what side and South Carolina.
- 19:24Speaker 3: I know they have a couple of mountains, maybe a
- 19:26Speaker 3: nice lake, but none of that's gonna matter if I shoot,
- 19:29Speaker 3: don't win, But I'll sump in a nice lake if
- 19:31Speaker 3: ILLA shoot win.
- 19:31Speaker 2: Okay, I do have a couple of us, you know,
- 19:35Speaker 2: not not red beans and rice. I mean, why in
- 19:37Speaker 2: the world would you try that in Clemson, South Carolina.
- 19:39Speaker 2: But I do have a couple of food spots that
- 19:41Speaker 2: people that went to Clemson told me I have to try,
- 19:44Speaker 2: and so if I get there in time, we need
- 19:47Speaker 2: to find a way to break bread at one of
- 19:48Speaker 2: these spots.
- 19:49Speaker 3: Yeah, let's do it, man, Like I said, I don't
- 19:51Speaker 3: know a lot about it, but I mean it's got
- 19:53Speaker 3: to be beautiful, you know.
- 19:55Speaker 2: You driving or flying, because I know, I know you're
- 19:57Speaker 2: not the biggest fan of airplanes.
- 20:00Speaker 3: Dude, I'm driving, man, eight hour drives not that bad.
- 20:05Speaker 3: And then eventually, hopefully a by the nd, I'm gonna
- 20:07Speaker 3: go to Chicago and I'm gonna drive to that too.
- 20:09Speaker 3: That's a thirteen hour.
- 20:10Speaker 2: Drive to Chicago. What are you doing in Chicago just
- 20:13Speaker 2: to go hang out with Bob?
- 20:15Speaker 3: Yeah? Yeah, And just like I've been putting that off
- 20:17Speaker 3: for a while now, probably about two years, you know,
- 20:20Speaker 3: I know, about two years. I don't know if the
- 20:23Speaker 3: office still stands, but about two years ago Yak had
- 20:26Speaker 3: invited me to come up there, so I still got
- 20:28Speaker 3: to do that. I'm gonna go on the largest podcast,
- 20:32Speaker 3: you know, and there's a few people that I've become
- 20:34Speaker 3: friends with just on you know, Twitter and stuff that
- 20:37Speaker 3: I want to go out there and see.
- 20:40Speaker 2: I bet, yeah, I bet you and t Bob can
- 20:43Speaker 2: do some damage up in Chicago. Although like he held
- 20:47Speaker 2: it down the other day and that that challenge he had,
- 20:49Speaker 2: I mean, my man took down like ten Glizzies and
- 20:51Speaker 2: eleven beers.
- 20:53Speaker 3: Yeah, I saw that that's the type, you know, and
- 20:55Speaker 3: that's the thing, Like what is that thing that they
- 20:57Speaker 3: do in the yak like the competition where you got
- 21:00Speaker 3: to like complete in a certain amount of time and
- 21:02Speaker 3: stuff like that, Like that's type of stuff I want.
- 21:06Speaker 2: Well, I mean, if there's anything t Bob liked, it's
- 21:09Speaker 2: g Lizzies and beers. So he held it down and
- 21:11Speaker 2: I got faith that you could do it as well. Uh. Also,
- 21:15Speaker 2: real quick about the LSU trip, I'm going to assume
- 21:18Speaker 2: that you know, if you were choosing a road trip
- 21:20Speaker 2: this year, probably going to sit out a Saints road
- 21:22Speaker 2: game this year and trus ellis year.
- 21:24Speaker 3: Yeah, it's just so tough because of the call in show.
- 21:28Speaker 3: And it's not like I can like relocate with it
- 21:30Speaker 3: because it's a landline phone number. You can't. You got
- 21:35Speaker 3: to be out of fun.
- 21:36Speaker 2: You're the one guy. Hey, who's that through? I got it?
- 21:38Speaker 2: Who's that through? Who's the phone line through? What company?
- 21:42Speaker 3: We're not going to say the name, but you know
- 21:43Speaker 3: what company is through. It's the only thing that I
- 21:45Speaker 3: got left through down. You know, it's a good deal, man,
- 21:47Speaker 3: fifty dollars a month. It's very well worth it.
- 21:50Speaker 2: Okay, or is that bundled with the Internet.
- 21:53Speaker 3: No, we got rid of the internet. Dude. That's the
- 21:55Speaker 3: only thing I got from those guys. Okay, okay, okay,
- 22:00Speaker 3: all right, can't recommend it enough, man, never had a problem.
- 22:03Speaker 2: That's right. Yeah, that's what I got in my office
- 22:05Speaker 2: for my afternoon show. So well done there, all right.
- 22:08Speaker 2: I figured that was going to be the case, and
- 22:10Speaker 2: like we all have to be there for the call
- 22:12Speaker 2: in show, so yeah, we don't need you going out
- 22:13Speaker 2: of town. So we miss that because I got a feeling, unfortunately,
- 22:17Speaker 2: you're gonna get some great calls due.
- 22:21Speaker 3: It's about the heat off this Sunday, I mean, charges preseason.
- 22:26Speaker 3: It's gonna be It is gonna be hot. Man.
- 22:29Speaker 2: Oh man, I can't wait. I cannot wait to see
- 22:33Speaker 2: the meltdown of whatever happens. So where are you at
- 22:37Speaker 2: right now with the Saints in the quarterback situation? We
- 22:41Speaker 2: talked about it right before you kind of hopped on.
- 22:43Speaker 2: I know Tyler Shuck had a couple of three four
- 22:45Speaker 2: day practices in a row where he maybe gained some ground,
- 22:48Speaker 2: but I'm still in the full belief that it's going
- 22:50Speaker 2: to be Spencer Rattler. The practice I went to. I
- 22:54Speaker 2: thought he was by far the most efficient, kind of
- 22:56Speaker 2: the one with the most juice. Where you at right now,
- 22:58Speaker 2: dev You.
- 22:59Speaker 3: Know, dude, don't have like a lot of sources and
- 23:01Speaker 3: something like that. But the few sources that I do
- 23:03Speaker 3: have that watch the Saints every day at training camp,
- 23:06Speaker 3: you know, one of them said, man, this might be
- 23:08Speaker 3: the worst team in the NFL this season. And then look,
- 23:11Speaker 3: and this is all before ball is played, right before
- 23:14Speaker 3: regular season. But I mean it's kind of like the
- 23:16Speaker 3: same routine. It's almost like the Truman Show, right, We're
- 23:19Speaker 3: hearing the same names. Like, man, let me just tell you,
- 23:22Speaker 3: if there was a Hall of Fame for training camp players,
- 23:28Speaker 3: Mason tipped In would.
- 23:30Speaker 2: Be in it every time.
- 23:33Speaker 3: Every time this they only tell us about this. I mean,
- 23:38Speaker 3: he is just all over the news all the time.
- 23:40Speaker 3: It's like do or die for Mason tipped In this year.
- 23:43Speaker 3: I'd love to see him succeed. I mean, don't ask
- 23:46Speaker 3: me what I think the chances are, but I'd love
- 23:48Speaker 3: to see him succeed.
- 23:49Speaker 4: You know.
- 23:51Speaker 3: Other than that, you know, I think it's gonna be ratla, dude,
- 23:54Speaker 3: I really do. I think before training camp started, everybody
- 23:57Speaker 3: wanted to crown Shuck because he ate someone, you know,
- 24:01Speaker 3: and now we're saying that it's probably gonna be Spencer
- 24:04Speaker 3: Island at least the first few games, you know.
- 24:08Speaker 2: Yeah, And I know that you took him fortieth overall
- 24:11Speaker 2: and he's got some some the whole thing's guaranteed, and
- 24:13Speaker 2: it's like eleven million dollars, but man, the saint's got
- 24:16Speaker 2: to play the guy that goes and wins the job.
- 24:18Speaker 2: Like in the scheme of things, like, I know, eleven millions,
- 24:21Speaker 2: eleven million, but it's also over you know, multiple years.
- 24:25Speaker 2: So we're talking four years eleven million, and that's honestly,
- 24:28Speaker 2: that's what a prime backup quarterback would get. And so
- 24:31Speaker 2: you can't my deals, Like you can't allow that to
- 24:34Speaker 2: make the decision for you, right, And just because you
- 24:37Speaker 2: draft a guy fortieth overall, I mean the time Flynn
- 24:40Speaker 2: got drafted, he was a seventh round pick. They drafted
- 24:42Speaker 2: Brian Brohm in the second round. Yeah, and Flynn beat
- 24:46Speaker 2: him out in training camp. Even as a second round pick.
- 24:49Speaker 2: He wasn't on the team the next year. I'm not
- 24:51Speaker 2: saying it's going to be Tyler Shuck's future, but I
- 24:54Speaker 2: always credit the Packers for allowing the best player to
- 24:56Speaker 2: win the backup job and not just where you were drafted,
- 24:59Speaker 2: So like the Saints, and it does feel like talking
- 25:01Speaker 2: with Killimore last week, that's kind of where they're at,
- 25:04Speaker 2: Like they don't really care how they got there. They're
- 25:06Speaker 2: just going to pick the best guy. And I do
- 25:08Speaker 2: think right now that Spencer gives you the best opportunity
- 25:10Speaker 2: to start the season.
- 25:12Speaker 3: Yeah, and I think that'd be a great sign of
- 25:14Speaker 3: the future to come, because you got to get the
- 25:18Speaker 3: feelings out of it. You got to take the feelings
- 25:20Speaker 3: out of it. You know. It's like right now, they
- 25:21Speaker 3: got the three quarterback race right now, Like is this
- 25:23Speaker 3: a three quarterback race? You know, why are we even
- 25:27Speaker 3: saying that? I think it just comes down to Shuck
- 25:31Speaker 3: or Rattler, And it's looking like Ratler is going to
- 25:34Speaker 3: be the guy come Game one, just and honestly, just
- 25:36Speaker 3: because of that year of experience, even though you know,
- 25:40Speaker 3: he played with nothing and you know he didn't look like,
- 25:43Speaker 3: you know, life changing last year, but he still has
- 25:46Speaker 3: that year of experience, and I think that's really what's winning.
- 25:49Speaker 3: I think Spencer was locked in the whole offseason too.
- 25:52Speaker 3: That's another thing. I think he's probably going to bed
- 25:55Speaker 3: at nine o'clock every night, you know, really locked in.
- 25:58Speaker 3: So like what he had to do to become the
- 26:00Speaker 3: next Saints.
- 26:01Speaker 2: Quarterback, any other kind of position battles or storylines that
- 26:06Speaker 2: you're following with the Saints. Because the thing that I
- 26:10Speaker 2: talked about last week coming back from practice was the
- 26:13Speaker 2: look the first twenty two you got some dudes in there, Like,
- 26:16Speaker 2: you got some guys that you can be excited about watching.
- 26:18Speaker 2: But the problem is, Devin, if somebody gets hurt, we
- 26:22Speaker 2: always talk about it. Here comes Uber Driver number one,
- 26:25Speaker 2: number two, number three. Like the depth on this team
- 26:28Speaker 2: is a real issue. But I mean there's still some
- 26:30Speaker 2: players out there with the initial starting unit they can
- 26:33Speaker 2: get behind.
- 26:34Speaker 3: Yeah, I think, like the most exciting dude right now,
- 26:38Speaker 3: it's got to be Stutsman. Man. I keep talking about
- 26:41Speaker 3: this guy and so does everybody else, Like, gotta be Stuftsman.
- 26:44Speaker 3: He just looks like he's ready, like this season, ready
- 26:47Speaker 3: to make a difference. And even the kid that they
- 26:50Speaker 3: drafted out of Louisville, the Quincy Riley kid, that's another
- 26:53Speaker 3: guy that look. Because when you look at the Saints corners, like, yeah,
- 26:56Speaker 3: Kool AIGs had a great camp, right obviously Alante Taylor,
- 27:02Speaker 3: but when it gets to that third corner, it's like, oh, man,
- 27:05Speaker 3: what's gonna happen here? Like, really gonna start? What's his name?
- 27:09Speaker 3: How you say it again?
- 27:10Speaker 4: Uh?
- 27:11Speaker 3: Got him? Got him, guide him.
- 27:13Speaker 2: That's everything you need to know.
- 27:15Speaker 3: Right right, So you you you want Quincy Riley to
- 27:18Speaker 3: be to be without it man. So and he looks
- 27:21Speaker 3: like he is. Man, it looks like he's one of
- 27:23Speaker 3: those guys who can get turnovers, which you love to
- 27:26Speaker 3: see it, you know, as receiver goes. Man, it's just
- 27:31Speaker 3: so tough, dude, because like, all right, Cedric Wilson, that's
- 27:37Speaker 3: another guy they love talking about in training camp. Cedric Wilson,
- 27:39Speaker 3: great guy, great teammate, blah blah blah blah blah. Can't
- 27:42Speaker 3: find him with a search. Warran during the regular season,
- 27:44Speaker 3: you know, just doesn't really catch balls and make plays.
- 27:48Speaker 3: So yeah, like if Olave or Shahi gets hurt and
- 27:51Speaker 3: you left with I mean this sounds horrible, man. You
- 27:54Speaker 3: left with Cooks, Cedric Wilson and Tipton and up means
- 27:59Speaker 3: you know that I just don't see how you're gonna
- 28:02Speaker 3: win games with that, especially with young quarterbacks.
- 28:06Speaker 2: All Right, dev let's stop talking about some depressing stuff
- 28:09Speaker 2: and actually, you know, figure out where you're going to
- 28:11Speaker 2: head today. Do we have any plans? We have a
- 28:14Speaker 2: general area of where we're going to go?
- 28:18Speaker 3: Man, No, I don't. I gotta be honest with you, dude.
- 28:22Speaker 3: You know, I just don't. But I know as soon
- 28:24Speaker 3: as I get off the phone, I'm gonna figure it
- 28:26Speaker 3: out and I'm gonna make it worth everybody's while. Man,
- 28:28Speaker 3: We're gonna find a good spot today for sure?
- 28:31Speaker 2: Is it? I mean, is it? We're gonna start driving
- 28:35Speaker 2: in a direction until we like maybe find an idea.
- 28:38Speaker 2: Are we going to get a plan? Like before we
- 28:40Speaker 2: get in the car, like, what's the process today?
- 28:42Speaker 3: That's how I went to the Zoo one day, which is,
- 28:44Speaker 3: in my opinion, one of my favorite episodes.
- 28:48Speaker 2: The Aquarium might be my favorite, by the way.
- 28:50Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I was about to go to the West
- 28:52Speaker 3: Bank and then I was looking on the internet, like
- 28:56Speaker 3: you know, as I'm driving, I'm kind of like looking
- 28:58Speaker 3: what's around and I'm because I didn't really want to
- 29:00Speaker 3: go to West Bank. I really did in that day.
- 29:02Speaker 3: But before I get on the bridge, I'm like, oh wait,
- 29:05Speaker 3: the zoo, dude, Like I know, that the zoo has
- 29:08Speaker 3: to have something over that. You know that I can
- 29:10Speaker 3: that I can do, and man with an episode that
- 29:14Speaker 3: was it was truly so much fun. Man, the Roman
- 29:16Speaker 3: candy Man was closed down that day. I remember being
- 29:19Speaker 3: pissed about that. Yeah, but yeah, well we'll definitely figure
- 29:24Speaker 3: it out. All right.
- 29:25Speaker 2: There, he is our guy, Devin Snow aka Hold the Mayo,
- 29:28Speaker 2: and we are going to make sure that we find
- 29:30Speaker 2: a way to get some grub in Clemson, South Carolina.
- 29:33Speaker 2: Looking forward to that. Dev will catch up again with
- 29:36Speaker 2: you next Monday.
- 29:36Speaker 3: My man, all right, I'll take you care. I appreciate it, all.
- 29:39Speaker 2: Right there, he is our guy, Hold the Mayo. I
- 29:42Speaker 2: love that. And that's not a bit like he has
- 29:44Speaker 2: no idea where he's going to go for Mondays. He
- 29:47Speaker 2: just like kind of gets in this car sometimes and
- 29:49Speaker 2: it takes him to the zoo. The aquarium I think
- 29:51Speaker 2: was the best one that I've seen like it. It
- 29:53Speaker 2: had me rolling. And so tune in to Devin snow
- 29:57Speaker 2: At Snow like John on Twitter and social media to
- 30:00Speaker 2: see where Dev ends up. All right, we will step away.
- 30:04Speaker 2: More OTB though coming your way when we come back
- 30:06Speaker 2: on one oh four to five ESPN venders off the bench,
- 30:12Speaker 2: all right, do sekis go for dose?
- 30:14Speaker 9: Perfect time tailgating season is upon us, like we are
- 30:18Speaker 9: here in the month of August, and so when you're
- 30:22Speaker 9: out there, when you're setting up the perfect tailgate, always
- 30:25Speaker 9: go for dose because we tell you every single day
- 30:27Speaker 9: and it is factual, there's never a bad time to
- 30:31Speaker 9: go for dose.
- 30:32Speaker 2: So it's always been in the summertime. The lake beer,
- 30:35Speaker 2: the river beer, the beach beer, ballpark beer, which we
- 30:39Speaker 2: don't talk about it now, that's always elites travel season,
- 30:43Speaker 2: right if you're going to these games, it's an airport beer.
- 30:46Speaker 2: Like we better get a picture of our guy Matthew
- 30:49Speaker 2: Clayton Flynn going for dose in an airport today or
- 30:52Speaker 2: it'll be a disappointing trip. And so right now, go ahead,
- 30:57Speaker 2: set that tailgate up. Go get all the ice cold
- 30:59Speaker 2: dose seies, have them ready to go for your tailgate
- 31:03Speaker 2: because as we said, there was never a bad time
- 31:06Speaker 2: to go for dose. Drink responsibly and go for dose.
- 31:17Speaker 1: From players to legends, Hester and Flynn breakdown LSU football
- 31:21Speaker 1: like only champions.
- 31:22Speaker 2: Can to find out, well we belong from the.
- 31:33Speaker 3: Dings.
- 31:35Speaker 2: We are dancing in the shedow all right, welcome back,

- 32:55Speaker 2: Haven't heard how the meeting went yet, so we got
- 32:59Speaker 2: the fingers crawl. Hopefully he wasn't in a card break
- 33:01Speaker 2: and miss the key points he flew last night. I
- 33:04Speaker 2: saw him on Saturday. We went to practice together, as
- 33:07Speaker 2: I talked about and I was like, hey, like, what's
- 33:09Speaker 2: your schedule, Like when you're leaving? He goes, I don't know.
- 33:12Speaker 2: I was like, well, when you got to be there?
- 33:13Speaker 2: He's like, you know, Monday morning. I was like, when
- 33:15Speaker 2: are you leaving? He goes, I don't know, have B
- 33:17Speaker 2: tickete yet?
- 33:18Speaker 6: Okay.
- 33:19Speaker 2: I'm like, okay, I mean you got He's going to Virginia.
- 33:23Speaker 5: So he got there.
- 33:24Speaker 2: He got there because he did his He threw a
- 33:27Speaker 2: yo out there in the beginning. It's probably ear hustling
- 33:30Speaker 2: to make sure we didn't talk too bad about him.
- 33:32Speaker 2: We just said the tripod leg fell off, the new
- 33:35Speaker 2: shiny toy. We had to go get the old, reliable one. Yeah, faithful,
- 33:40Speaker 2: It's okay.
- 33:41Speaker 6: No, I'm excited for him.
- 33:44Speaker 2: I am too. That's a big one for my high school.
- 33:47Speaker 2: See if he's able to get it done there. Tte,
- 33:50Speaker 2: you'll know this preseason football this week, like everybody's everybody's.
- 33:56Speaker 5: So last Thursday, like they got they got a Thursday
- 33:58Speaker 5: with two.
- 33:59Speaker 8: Last Thursday, they made a final Thursday with like with
- 34:03Speaker 8: football till February.
- 34:05Speaker 2: Till February, all right, and get behind that. Who the
- 34:08Speaker 2: Cowboys play?
- 34:10Speaker 8: Man, I don't even know the I don't know the
- 34:11Speaker 8: color schedule. If I told you, i'd be, I'd be
- 34:14Speaker 8: I'd be lying or just making something up. I'm kind
- 34:16Speaker 8: of kind of out on them right now. Jake, you
- 34:19Speaker 8: have to do a little You may have to do
- 34:20Speaker 8: a little Bachelor and give my final rose to somebody else.
- 34:23Speaker 2: Man, I don't know you did. I mean, you made
- 34:25Speaker 2: him a loser. And they have been one for a
- 34:27Speaker 2: long time. So I do know. The Saints and the
- 34:29Speaker 2: Chargers play each other. So they leave Wednesday, gonna be
- 34:33Speaker 2: watching that they do. They leave Wednesday, and they gotta
- 34:37Speaker 2: have some clarity on this quarterback situation before they go
- 34:41Speaker 2: out West. They have to they it's got to be like,
- 34:45Speaker 2: all right, here's our two guys. It's A and B right,
- 34:50Speaker 2: like if they still have three quarterbacks in this game.
- 34:53Speaker 2: I know it's the first preseason game, but I told
- 34:57Speaker 2: you all this. So I was doing that show last
- 34:58Speaker 2: week with Bruce Murray, who's worked for NFL radio since
- 35:01Speaker 2: two thousand and six or twenty years. Basically, I was like,
- 35:05Speaker 2: if you ever had three quarterbacks, come and sit down
- 35:08Speaker 2: on a training camp tour. He said no, he said
- 35:11Speaker 2: I've had two a couple of times. He said, I've
- 35:13Speaker 2: never had three. It's just not normal, not in the NFL.
- 35:16Speaker 2: It's not And I know some other teams this year
- 35:19Speaker 2: are going through that, like Cleveland, But do you really
- 35:22Speaker 2: want to have your quarterback competition be compared to the
- 35:25Speaker 2: team that has the famous jersey of all the last
- 35:28Speaker 2: names listed from top to bottom, which.
- 35:29Speaker 8: Are they're officially out of room one by the way, No,
- 35:32Speaker 8: I mean to your point, like the Giants, Jamis is
- 35:34Speaker 8: a former number one overall pick.
- 35:37Speaker 5: He was a starter multiple years in this league.
- 35:39Speaker 8: Did you have Wilson then you invest a first round
- 35:42Speaker 8: pick into Jackson Dart that should have been a more
- 35:44Speaker 8: hotly contested quarterback battle to what you have in New Orleans.
- 35:47Speaker 8: They've already named their starter now, right or wrong, it's
- 35:50Speaker 8: Russell Wilson going to be the start in Week ten,
- 35:52Speaker 8: doesn't matter. You at least have your guy right now.
- 35:54Speaker 8: And I understand that it is a preseason game. Tell
- 35:58Speaker 8: you that we're going to see where these the Saints
- 36:00Speaker 8: are right now, because that Chargers defense looked really, really
- 36:05Speaker 8: good on Thursday night. Now I understand they're playing the
- 36:08Speaker 8: Lions backups. I get all that, but Shuck and Rattler,
- 36:11Speaker 8: they're gonna be under that's a good team. Yeah, this
- 36:14Speaker 8: is a great first game in my opinion for this.
- 36:16Speaker 2: I mean, if I'm not mistaken, they led the NFL
- 36:18Speaker 2: in points per game a year ago, and they got
- 36:21Speaker 2: even better in the off season with some of the
- 36:22Speaker 2: moves they made. So and Jim Harball is going to
- 36:25Speaker 2: play some of his guys. He didn't play all of them,
- 36:27Speaker 2: but like Hampton played the other night, and that was
- 36:30Speaker 2: a Hall of Fame game. So you're gonna see some
- 36:31Speaker 2: of those guys that are going to be starters on
- 36:33Speaker 2: that defense at least for a series or two. So
- 36:36Speaker 2: it's actually a really good test for the Saints quarterbacks.
- 36:39Speaker 2: So looking forward to kind of breaking down that and
- 36:43Speaker 2: here's to hoping, here's to hoping that we have some
- 36:45Speaker 2: clarity on the situation. Elandra, will you watch a second
- 36:49Speaker 2: of preseason football.
- 36:51Speaker 4: Probably not to be completely honest with you, but my
- 36:56Speaker 4: completely fair I So, I mean, how many people really
- 37:00Speaker 4: I get that there's sickos out there, but like, yeah,
- 37:03Speaker 4: I can't imagine that the viewership is too.
- 37:06Speaker 2: Hard to even know. It's hard to even know now.
- 37:08Speaker 2: Like used to, there was like a formula of the
- 37:11Speaker 2: first game, starters played one series. In the second game,
- 37:14Speaker 2: they played three or four series. In the third game
- 37:17Speaker 2: we played a full half. Yea, we would go all
- 37:19Speaker 2: the way to halftime, and the fourth game we would
- 37:22Speaker 2: dress up and that was about it.
- 37:23Speaker 5: Yeah, maybe the guys that were fringe roster not But now.
- 37:29Speaker 2: Like I don't even really know how everyone handles it,
- 37:31Speaker 2: because everybody does it kind of differently. And it kind
- 37:33Speaker 2: of started at the end of my career, Like we
- 37:35Speaker 2: played against the Vikings one year in the preseason and
- 37:38Speaker 2: they decided to flip games, like they went second game
- 37:41Speaker 2: started till halftime and we did not. Yeah, but it
- 37:47Speaker 2: was one of those years. And I told you all
- 37:48Speaker 2: the time, like we're full back, Like I was kind
- 37:50Speaker 2: of the only guy on the roster, so I was
- 37:51Speaker 2: gonna have to go in there. And we had the
- 37:54Speaker 2: bomb squad going against like Jerry Allen, who just got
- 37:57Speaker 2: inducted into the Hall of Fame had Greenway linebacker. It
- 38:02Speaker 2: was like Charlie Whitehurst would get to snap and have
- 38:04Speaker 2: about one thousand and one before we had like six
- 38:07Speaker 2: guys in the backfield. It was horrible, like there was
- 38:11Speaker 2: nothing that we were going to gain from that tape.
- 38:14Speaker 2: And I feel like that's kind of how it is now,
- 38:15Speaker 2: like we really don't have a formula of how everybody
- 38:18Speaker 2: kind of follows the preseason and give us an idea there.
- 38:20Speaker 4: So my thing about the quarterback competition though, in terms
- 38:24Speaker 4: of the Saints is that no separation between Spencer Rattler
- 38:29Speaker 4: and Tyler Shuck is kind of like I think that's okay,
- 38:34Speaker 4: And I mean, obviously you want one to be standing
- 38:38Speaker 4: out over the other, but like, if it's going to
- 38:40Speaker 4: be a true competition, I'm kind of okay with like
- 38:43Speaker 4: Shuck being.
- 38:45Speaker 6: Like neck and neck with.
- 38:46Speaker 4: Spencer, but I kind of feel like it's Spencer's job
- 38:49Speaker 4: to lose at this point. But what I don't and
- 38:52Speaker 4: like Flynn kind of explained it in a good way
- 38:54Speaker 4: last week, and I understand what he's saying, but I
- 38:59Speaker 4: don't love that Hay is out there also taking reps
- 39:01Speaker 4: because if it's like a true three way battle and
- 39:05Speaker 4: Hater is in them, is in the conversation, Like, I
- 39:08Speaker 4: just don't know how I feel about that, but I
- 39:10Speaker 4: do think that you have to have at least you're
- 39:13Speaker 4: one and two figured out heading to Los Angeles.
- 39:16Speaker 6: Are they playing in Los Angeles or is it.
- 39:18Speaker 5: Okay, it's Vanilla.
- 39:19Speaker 4: Yeah, I just don't know if they do camp somewhere
- 39:22Speaker 4: else and they were gonna go there or not.
- 39:24Speaker 2: But no, that they do it. They built a brand
- 39:27Speaker 2: new stay of the art facility. Yes, the Bush League
- 39:29Speaker 2: Bolts built a brand new stay of the art facility.
- 39:31Speaker 2: So they stay right there and it's gonna be a
- 39:34Speaker 2: good test. It will be a good test for the Saints.
- 39:36Speaker 2: And normally I'm with you all in the preseason. This
- 39:38Speaker 2: one's more intriguing because of the quarterback battle. Yeah, because
- 39:41Speaker 2: of all the unknowns on this Saint.
- 39:44Speaker 7: Steam always the Chargers that they play in the preseason.
- 39:47Speaker 8: It last over the last years, Well they've done. They've
- 39:51Speaker 8: done the joint president.
- 39:53Speaker 2: I mean me and the boys went to a Saints
- 39:58Speaker 2: Charges preseason game like three years ago. Yes, so it's
- 40:00Speaker 2: been at least three years in a row they've played
- 40:03Speaker 2: the Chargers. So all right, we'll take a break, our
- 40:05Speaker 2: last break of the show, and wrap it up like
- 40:08Speaker 2: we do every single day, getting to your questions. So
- 40:12Speaker 2: we'll get to ask the bench to close it out
- 40:14Speaker 2: today here on OTB dofter bench. All right, go to
- 40:19Speaker 2: trash rangers dot com. Trash rangers dot com is the website.
- 40:23Speaker 2: And remember they have so many options for you when
- 40:26Speaker 2: it comes to those roll off dumpsters. So, Hey, I've
- 40:30Speaker 2: got a project going on at my home at my business,
- 40:33Speaker 2: and I'm not sure what sized dumpster I need. Just
- 40:36Speaker 2: call them, talk with them, have that conversation with him,
- 40:39Speaker 2: because they're gonna make sure you have the right one
- 40:42Speaker 2: on your project. Tell the story all the time. T
- 40:45Speaker 2: Bob needed one when he was moving to Chicago. He
- 40:48Speaker 2: needed to clean out a bunch of stuff at his house.
- 40:50Speaker 2: He was on the phone with trash Rangers here in
- 40:52Speaker 2: studio downtown Baton Rouge, telling them kind of, you know,
- 40:55Speaker 2: the amount of stuff he was looking forward, you know,
- 40:57Speaker 2: to getting rid of. And we had a event we
- 41:01Speaker 2: were doing at Tiger Stadium. By the time he got
- 41:04Speaker 2: to Tiger Stadium, so downtown to LSU campus, they had
- 41:06Speaker 2: already not only called and set everything up, they were
- 41:09Speaker 2: on their way with the dumpster that he needed. That's
- 41:12Speaker 2: what kind of service you get with trash Rangers. So
- 41:14Speaker 2: go to the website today that is trash rangers dot Com.
- 41:22Speaker 1: From players to legends, Hester and Flynn breakdown LSU football
- 41:26Speaker 1: like only champions can.
- 42:04Speaker 5: I don't know the dogs.
- 42:05Speaker 2: Bond z All right, welcome back again, O. TB. One
- 42:20Speaker 2: final segment here a little ask the bench. Let me
- 42:28Speaker 2: see here, Uh, let's see, ask the bench. What does O.
- 42:38Speaker 2: TB hate the Rugaroo? Is it because T Bob board
- 42:40Speaker 2: the mascot? Haead? I don't hate the rugaroo. I love Jumbo.
- 42:45Speaker 2: It's not really jumbo anymore. Guy looks great. Ronnie ran
- 42:47Speaker 2: shout out to our guy. I know they had some
- 42:50Speaker 2: like some big games over the weekend. I think they
- 42:54Speaker 2: one said big games. Always gonna root for for our guy.
- 42:58Speaker 2: But you know, also there's a lot of things going
- 43:00Speaker 2: on right now, a lot of pigskin talk going on
- 43:03Speaker 2: right now, and so shout out to the rubrou shout out.
- 43:09Speaker 2: Let's see all right, ask the bench, heester, if you
- 43:13Speaker 2: took a handoff and had to run straight with no
- 43:16Speaker 2: own line, how many fourth graders do you think it
- 43:18Speaker 2: would take to tackle you today? Arian Foster said five
- 43:22Speaker 2: to seven to get him down. We're talking full pads,
- 43:27Speaker 2: no offensive line. Fourth graders. I've got a third grader
- 43:30Speaker 2: in a sixth grader. I'm trying to think like fourth grade.
- 43:33Speaker 2: That's like ten, man, I don't know, Like I am
- 43:35Speaker 2: trucking some fools before they get to me, like, and
- 43:39Speaker 2: that stiff arm is going to be nasty. Yeah. Like
- 43:42Speaker 2: what I'm going to do is I'm gonna get the
- 43:44Speaker 2: ball and I'm going to press the line and immediately
- 43:47Speaker 2: bounce it out and I'm gonna outrun every single one
- 43:50Speaker 2: of them. And after I start to outrun them, even
- 43:53Speaker 2: when I get tired and the ones start to catch me,
- 43:56Speaker 2: I've got leverage cuz they're on the inside coming to me, right,
- 44:00Speaker 2: And so I'm just gonna stiff arm everything.
- 44:02Speaker 5: About to say that that that stiff arms working overtime
- 44:05Speaker 5: for you.
- 44:05Speaker 2: I don't know. I say, I say ten ten, ten
- 44:09Speaker 2: fourth graders. Eventually they're just gonna.
- 44:11Speaker 8: Like, oh, it's not got one, yeah, shout out the
- 44:13Speaker 8: area and being a little modest though with.
- 44:16Speaker 2: Something like ten ten.
- 44:25Speaker 8: Soft tissue tar going on in the in the questions here, Yeah,
- 44:28Speaker 8: most common soft tissue inergy and injury for radio people.
- 44:35Speaker 5: Something yeah, something like that.
- 44:38Speaker 6: Yeah, Bonner tissue though.
- 44:42Speaker 8: That's the thing I don't know. I don't know, I
- 44:44Speaker 8: don't know. Something in the wrist, in hands you go
- 44:46Speaker 8: with that.
- 44:47Speaker 2: We all know Jake is too gritty to be pretty,
- 44:49Speaker 2: But is he too gritty to gritty?
- 44:53Speaker 6: Have you hit the gritty?
- 44:53Speaker 2: But I do that for sure, no doubt.
- 44:56Speaker 6: I mean that video of you and Katie dancing like
- 44:59Speaker 6: obviously you can hit the Yeah.
- 45:00Speaker 8: Also Jacob Boys and the oldest is like sixteen, he
- 45:05Speaker 8: sees the gritty quite a bit. I would imagine I
- 45:07Speaker 8: saw the gritty for a lot.
- 45:08Speaker 2: Actually, in Harlowe's birth announcement, Memphis did the gritty across
- 45:12Speaker 2: the LSU locker room as he was going by, like
- 45:16Speaker 2: all the jerseys that everybody was doing. So, yeah, I
- 45:19Speaker 2: can definitely do that, not like Musso, though Musso's got it.
- 45:22Speaker 6: He's got the best gritty, let's see.
- 45:27Speaker 2: Uh anybody seem the New Fantastic four yet? I saw
- 45:30Speaker 2: it yesterday was really good? Yeah, I saw it is good.
- 45:32Speaker 2: One bad.
- 45:33Speaker 6: I haven't seen it bad.
- 45:34Speaker 2: It was good. It was entertaining for sure. Uh. Yeah,
- 45:37Speaker 2: I would Scott destroy fourth graders and that look if
- 45:40Speaker 2: you put on pads and you get in front of
- 45:41Speaker 2: me like all games game, let's go.
- 45:44Speaker 6: All right, one for letting kids win.
- 45:50Speaker 2: No no, no, no no, they got to get taught
- 45:52Speaker 2: this lesson like Mike alstot on a four down conversion.
- 45:55Speaker 2: If they got in front of me. It is what
- 45:57Speaker 2: it is life about, choices and decisions. Off the bench,
- 46:04Speaker 2: all right, Go to Budros Electrical dot com. That Gulf
- 46:07Speaker 2: of America is heating up. Storm season is a coming.
- 46:10Speaker 2: And one of the things we told you on Friday,
- 46:12Speaker 2: because we met with Boudro's earlier in the week, is
- 46:15Speaker 2: they're ready to go. Like they've got eighty generators right
- 46:18Speaker 2: now in stock, ready to install at your home. So
- 46:21Speaker 2: if you're worried, like, man, did I wait too long?

- 46:27Speaker 2: in time for this storm season? Absolutely it can be,
- 46:31Speaker 2: because they're gonna come to your home, they're gonna find

- 46:40Speaker 2: absolutely ultimate peace of mind to have a whole home
- 46:42Speaker 2: generator because whenever it happens, and it's going to in inevitable,
- 46:46Speaker 2: it's going to happen when you have lights, and you
- 46:48Speaker 2: have AC and you have refrigerator. You have all the
- 46:51Speaker 2: amenities that you're used to. You are going to be
