  Speaker 4: Yeah, so I grew up first of all with my
• 3:45
  Speaker 4: grandparents they raised me. My grandpa was a pastor and
• 3:49
  Speaker 4: my grandma was a Firth lady, and when I was
• 3:53
  Speaker 4: just five years old, my grandmother started teaching us to
• 3:57
  Speaker 4: sing in church and it was like immediate yes for
• 4:01
  Speaker 4: me wanting to serve God in that capacity, so I did.
• 4:08
  Speaker 4: I sang from the time I was five years old
• 4:10
  Speaker 4: up until I was just about to graduate in high school.

  Speaker 4: And the only reason I even slowed down singing and
• 4:17
  Speaker 4: praising God in that way, like on that platform, is
• 4:23
  Speaker 4: because like the group I was in broke up. We
• 4:25
  Speaker 4: were no longer you know, singing or praise dancing together.

  Speaker 4: But recently after my husband passed away, I don't know,
• 4:33
  Speaker 4: I felt like I was just under attacked spiritually and
• 4:37
  Speaker 4: the only thing I needed to do, because I didn't
• 4:40
  Speaker 4: know just growing up, what I needed to do was
• 4:43
  Speaker 4: to just go back to God. And the way that
• 4:45
  Speaker 4: I felt him the closest was through singing. So that's
• 4:50
  Speaker 4: why I started singing and going back to the journey
• 4:54
  Speaker 4: that I was previously on. And it's just amazing, like
• 4:59
  Speaker 4: what God had.

  Speaker 3: Hey man, Amen says, that is a beautiful testimony, And

  Speaker 3: I like what you said. You said you felt connected

  Speaker 3: through your singing through the gift that God has given you,

  Speaker 3: and the Bible instructs us to sing to make a

  Speaker 3: joyful noise. As a matter of fact, he doesn't want

  Speaker 3: us to come into his presence if we're not singing
• 5:27
  Speaker 3: and rejoicing in front of him. So that's awesome. I've

  Speaker 3: always needed to be people, especially people who can sing,
• 5:33
  Speaker 3: you know. I mean I be trying to sing, you
• 5:35
  Speaker 3: know what I'm saying. But when you can sing, you
• 5:38
  Speaker 3: got that gift and you can just get into God's
• 5:40
  Speaker 3: presence anytime you want. I mean, I know we all can,
• 5:44
  Speaker 3: but of course when you have that anointing to do it,
• 5:47
  Speaker 3: it's just you know, just like the icing on the cake.

  Speaker 3: So amen, Now you mentioned that first, you know, I
• 5:56
  Speaker 3: want to give you our condolences you missed. You mentioned
• 5:58
  Speaker 3: that your your husband ended up passing away and you
• 6:03
  Speaker 3: became a single mom. Right, can you share a little
• 6:08
  Speaker 3: bit about that? You know how uh, of course that
• 6:13
  Speaker 3: there was a struggle there, But how did God help
• 6:16
  Speaker 3: you during this time?
• 6:19
  Speaker 4: Yeah, we were together for about seven years. I think
• 6:24
  Speaker 4: it was like a like very sudden so it was
• 6:27
  Speaker 4: like just crashed on me, like the event that took
• 6:31
  Speaker 4: page just crashed on me because he passed away from
• 6:35
  Speaker 4: setting party at the rest and it was of course
• 6:37
  Speaker 4: setting and that's literally what the doctor telling, you know,
• 6:43
  Speaker 4: wasn't really anything that I could have done to help
• 6:47
  Speaker 4: because of how sudden it was. But like after he
• 6:51
  Speaker 4: passed away, I kind of just sat and was really
• 6:55
  Speaker 4: still even though with like everything that was happening, it

  Speaker 4: was so much happening, like with his family, but I
• 7:05
  Speaker 4: kind of was still myself. I kind of went back
• 7:09
  Speaker 4: to being myself but still me, but just that with
• 7:12
  Speaker 4: God and allowed him to handle everything. So that's really

  Speaker 4: how I was able to process it and how I
• 7:22
  Speaker 4: got to where I'm at right now because he kind
• 7:25
  Speaker 4: of just was like, Okay, like I see everything that's
• 7:27
  Speaker 4: happening around you. I see how people are treating you.

  Speaker 4: So let me just put you back in that space

  Speaker 4: where you have some titles, platform and ministry not just
• 7:42
  Speaker 4: for you, but for the people who will accept you

  Speaker 4: what you've done, what you've been through, and who I've

  Speaker 4: called you to be. So that is where I'm at

  Speaker 4: right now, just doing his will. And really it is

  Speaker 4: sticking to my teachings growing up. And he's reminding me

  Speaker 4: of the Bible verse train and trot up in the

  Speaker 4: way that he should go and when he goes over,

  Speaker 4: he does not have a heart. And he said he'd

  Speaker 4: let me know that because I'm, you know, still doing

  Speaker 4: what my grandmother taught me to do. She literally taught

  Speaker 4: me to sing. I didn't know what to seen when

  Speaker 4: she taught me to and told me to being that

  Speaker 4: one line and it just came out so naturally. So

  Speaker 4: of having a faith based platform in every way.

  Speaker 3: that God is willing and able to give us a platform,

  Speaker 3: like you said, that is faith based in every way

  Speaker 3: that he's willing to protect us. He's willing to put

  Speaker 3: us out there. And he raises up a few to

  Speaker 3: let them know that it's better if we do it

  Speaker 3: his way. We don't have to do the quick and

  Speaker 3: easy way, right, we don't have to take shortcuts. You know.

  Speaker 3: That's the thing. God will take us through a process

  Speaker 3: because He wants to work on our character. He wants

  Speaker 3: to make sure we can handle it once we get

  Speaker 4: Yes, So the inspiration behind it is it's really funny

  Speaker 4: because I was one night I prayed, and because God

  Speaker 4: had just started me on the journey of wanting to

  Speaker 4: put music out. I had already been writing music for

  Speaker 4: some years, and he had just started me on the
• 14:03
  Speaker 4: journey of wanting to actually put music out. So I

  Speaker 4: payed one night and I you know, asked him to

  Speaker 4: direct me, give me the words and direct my path completely.

  Speaker 4: And that morning I woke up right at seven am

  Speaker 4: out of my sleep. I wrote Amazing and I was

  Speaker 4: just like laughing and like thanking God the whole time,

  Speaker 4: like okay, God, here in my prayer, like this is it.

  Speaker 4: I can't say that this is not you. You would

  Speaker 4: woke me up out of my sleep at seven am.

  Speaker 4: I wrote the song and I recorded that process too.

  Speaker 4: I recorded myself writing it sitting on my bed waiting.

  Speaker 4: As soon as I woke up, I was like, oh

  Speaker 4: my gosh, let me grab my camera. The good song

  Speaker 4: is yep. And then I was hesitant to put it

  Speaker 4: like two weeks later I met my manager, Henry. And

  Speaker 4: walking the red carpet. And then in January, which was August, September, October, November, December,

  Speaker 4: then we put the song out in February and it's
