- 1:04Speaker 1: got to be a specific song. What do you mean?

- 1:21Speaker 1: it desiree tell us how you feeling today sis oh
- 1:23Speaker 1: man i'm good you know i'm into this in this
- 1:26Speaker 1: new decade of age and things the lord 40 and
- 1:30Speaker 1: fine fine and 40 you know the lord is good
- 1:32Speaker 1: the lord is How you doing, sister? I am great.
- 1:35Speaker 1: You see, I have my marching orders on. I see.
- 1:39Speaker 1: You got your fatigue on. You see, I'm ready to salute. Oh,
- 1:41Speaker 1: come on. I heard there was a general in the house.
- 1:44Speaker 1: Come on. Come on. So... I'm excited. I am nervous.
- 1:50Speaker 1: Even the pre-conversation, the pre-recording conversation. Wouldn't that be good?
- 1:54Speaker 1: You know it's going to, it's about to.
- 1:56Speaker 2: Oh, yes.
- 1:56Speaker 1: So buckle up, bottle cup, okay? I know we say
- 1:59Speaker 1: that for, like, every guest. Like, buckle up. But, like,
- 2:01Speaker 1: for real, like, you guys, like, buckle up. I'm super excited. One,
- 2:05Speaker 1: I'm just grateful for her. Yes. I've had the opportunity
- 2:10Speaker 1: to be under her leadership for the last two years
- 2:13Speaker 1: now in the enlisted School of Intercession and Prayer program.
- 2:18Speaker 1: And I can say the Lord is doing a thing
- 2:21Speaker 1: over there, right? The Lord is doing a different kind
- 2:24Speaker 1: of thing. What is over there? Tell the people what's
- 2:25Speaker 1: over there. In the enlisted school of intercession and prayer, okay?
- 2:29Speaker 1: This is not your typical... prayer school i thought i
- 2:33Speaker 1: listen i ain't gonna lie i'm gonna be transparent i
- 2:35Speaker 1: thought when i first encountered i said oh the lord
- 2:38Speaker 1: about to teach me how to pray like i'm about
- 2:40Speaker 1: to be i'm gonna pray heaven down because my sister
- 2:42Speaker 1: my sister over there can pray to him you know
- 2:44Speaker 1: she'd be praying the heavens down you know and i
- 2:45Speaker 1: was like i'm gonna i'm gonna learn how to pray
- 2:47Speaker 1: like that in the seat and all the things and
- 2:48Speaker 1: the lord said yeah that's gonna come but let me
- 2:51Speaker 1: deal with you yeah let me let me deal with
- 2:53Speaker 1: You know, these things that's been laying underneath this layer
- 2:57Speaker 1: right here that you ain't been dealing with. And so
- 3:00Speaker 1: for the last two years, the Lord has been dealing
- 3:02Speaker 1: with me. Dealing with you, but you've been, like, really
- 3:05Speaker 1: producing because you've been in this community. You know what
- 3:07Speaker 1: I'm saying? Like, I've seen you flourish. And so I'm
- 3:10Speaker 1: really excited to have your leader on. Yeah. Because being
- 3:17Speaker 1: able to experience the person that has helped you come
- 3:21Speaker 1: out of the soil.
- 3:22Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 3:24Speaker 1: That's what I feel like. She has helped you come
- 3:26Speaker 1: out of the soil. You know how seeds all be there,
- 3:30Speaker 1: but one water, one plant's one water, but God gets
- 3:35Speaker 1: to increase. Shout out to Increase Media. That's our business.
- 3:40Speaker 1: Shameless plug. Shameless plug. Not so shameless. But who do
- 3:44Speaker 1: we have today, Desiree? So today I get to introduce,
- 3:49Speaker 1: she's an apostle. She's a leader. She's an intercessor. She's
- 3:53Speaker 1: a builder. She's a woman of God. But most importantly,
- 3:57Speaker 1: she's a daughter of the king. Come on.
- 3:59Speaker 2: Right?
- 3:59Speaker 1: So I introduced to some and what's the, how do
- 4:03Speaker 1: they say? Introduce to some and present to others. Apostle
- 4:08Speaker 1: Tontanel Walters. Shut up. It's okay. Apostle Tontanel Walters. But
- 4:15Speaker 1: we so affectionately call her General Tease. Hello. Salute to
- 4:21Speaker 1: the general. I know people are going to talk about me.
- 4:24Speaker 1: Steve is going to talk about how my hand is up,
- 4:27Speaker 1: but it's okay. Salute to the general.
- 4:30Speaker 2: Y'all are wild. Y'all are wild. Thank y'all so much.
- 4:34Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 4:34Speaker 3: Thank you for having me, Desiree. Thank you for even
- 4:36Speaker 3: thinking about me. And yes, we met just here briefly.
- 4:41Speaker 3: Jess is wild.
- 4:43Speaker 2: Oh, God. Okay. But she's good. Already, I can tell
- 4:47Speaker 2: she's good people.
- 4:47Speaker 1: Yes.
- 4:48Speaker 2: I'm thankful that you got a best friend that got God. Amen.
- 4:52Speaker 1: Come on. Look, my Shundo just Shundo. Because y'all don't
- 4:56Speaker 1: understand this conversation. I feel like what's interesting, General T,
- 5:02Speaker 1: for one, let me reiterate, thank you. Because my friend
- 5:05Speaker 1: needs people to make her realize that she is a blessing,
- 5:10Speaker 1: a beautiful being. And for her to come out that
- 5:13Speaker 1: soil and make right, created to create, like that inspired me.
- 5:18Speaker 1: So thank you so much for your obedience to God
- 5:21Speaker 1: because it allows others to obey. So when I was
- 5:24Speaker 1: talking to God about our conversation, the scripture came to mind.
- 5:28Speaker 1: And the scripture came to mind was Matthew 28, 19.
- 5:33Speaker 1: And it says, go therefore and make disciples of all nations.
- 5:37Speaker 1: Thank you, Holy Spirit. Baptizing them in the name of
- 5:41Speaker 1: the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
- 5:44Speaker 1: But the first part of this is go therefore and
- 5:46Speaker 1: make disciples of all nations. And I feel like you
- 5:51Speaker 1: are doing that with Enlisted and in the most unique
- 5:56Speaker 1: way possible, even to the point where... We're talking about
- 6:01Speaker 1: being a transformative leader. What does that look like and
- 6:06Speaker 1: how does that differ and challenge the church that we're
- 6:10Speaker 1: in today?
- 6:13Speaker 3: That's a loaded question. It's a loaded question. You said something,
- 6:18Speaker 3: go and make disciples. There's two things that God revealed
- 6:21Speaker 3: to me, I want to say probably about 10 years ago.
- 6:25Speaker 3: He said, you got two jobs, just two jobs, very simple.
- 6:30Speaker 3: Your job is to be a witness and to make disciples.
- 6:34Speaker 3: Very simple. Nothing, nothing major. It ain't, you know, the
- 6:39Speaker 3: robes and the cross and the chains. And, you know,
- 6:42Speaker 3: we're looking to be seen. No, he said your job
- 6:45Speaker 3: as a son is to be a witness and to
- 6:47Speaker 3: make disciples.
- 6:49Speaker 2: And that's it.
- 6:50Speaker 3: Disciples, not of me, because that's crazy. Disciples of him.
- 6:54Speaker 3: And but we see that a lot in the body today.
- 6:56Speaker 3: People have they say they're doing kingdom work. But the
- 6:59Speaker 3: reality is that they're building their own empires and they're
- 7:02Speaker 3: making replicas of themselves when God showed us.
- 7:06Speaker 2: Through his word.
- 7:08Speaker 3: Through his infallible word to mark the perfect man, to
- 7:12Speaker 3: behold the upright at the end of that man is peace.
- 7:15Speaker 3: I'm not marking a man that is not God. The
- 7:20Speaker 3: only man that's God is Yeshua. That's the one we mark.
- 7:25Speaker 3: And so my job is to be a witness, a
- 7:28Speaker 3: purveyor of his power, a testimony of of his transformation
- 7:33Speaker 3: and then to go make disciples. If we don't have
- 7:35Speaker 3: a testimony, we don't have that transformational experience. It's going
- 7:39Speaker 3: to be super difficult for you to make disciples. So
- 7:41Speaker 3: what happens is we substitute and we make replicas instead
- 7:46Speaker 3: of disciples because we're missing that first part. Are you
- 7:49Speaker 3: even a witness? Are you even a witness of what
- 7:52Speaker 3: God can do? And I bring that up because we see,
- 7:56Speaker 3: and it's unfortunate, it breaks my heart because the Ecclesia,
- 7:58Speaker 3: that is, man, that's my heart because this is what
- 8:02Speaker 3: God has put in this earth to reflect the kingdom.
- 8:06Speaker 3: And so for me, it's like at all costs, we
- 8:08Speaker 3: want to guard that. But what we've done with the
- 8:11Speaker 3: systems that are in place, we call it, you know,
- 8:14Speaker 3: the local church, which we should be in Ecclesia, but
- 8:17Speaker 3: we have brought ourselves to a place where the local churches,
- 8:22Speaker 3: it has a role, but it is not the end
- 8:24Speaker 3: all be all. And what we've done with that is
- 8:27Speaker 3: we've become satisfied with just duplication of experiences and duplication of,
- 8:33Speaker 3: you know, creating legacy, but not pointing them towards Jesus,
- 8:37Speaker 3: not pointing them towards Yeshua, not pointing them towards kingdom work.
- 8:40Speaker 3: And so for me, it's a very simplistic instruction, be
- 8:45Speaker 3: a witness, make a disciple. And it's always leading back
- 8:48Speaker 3: to him. And I think that is the difference. We
- 8:51Speaker 3: see it modeled completely different. We want sons and we
- 8:55Speaker 3: want daughters to look like the bishop, the apostle, the arch.
- 9:00Speaker 2: And it's the truth.
- 9:01Speaker 3: And I'm not trying to knock anybody for doing what
- 9:03Speaker 3: they believe they're supposed to do. But according to scripture,
- 9:07Speaker 3: we are to be a witness and to make disciples,
- 9:09Speaker 3: not of ourselves, but of Yeshua. And I know somebody
- 9:12Speaker 3: who's a Berean, because I am a Berean and I.
- 9:15Speaker 1: Love the book.
- 9:15Speaker 2: They're going to say, well, what about those who were
- 9:17Speaker 2: of Paul?
- 9:18Speaker 3: Well, we see what happened in the New Testament when
- 9:20Speaker 3: there was an argument between those of Paul and Apollos.
- 9:24Speaker 3: Then we had conflict because that was never supposed to
- 9:27Speaker 3: be the case.
- 9:28Speaker 2: And Paul, he wasn't doing that. It was the church
- 9:31Speaker 2: of Corinth that it was the people who made the Division.
- 9:35Speaker 2: And Paul corrected it. And he said, listen, it's not
- 9:39Speaker 2: about being of me or of Apollos. We said this
- 9:43Speaker 2: at the pre-recording. It's God.
- 9:46Speaker 3: One plants the other waters and God gives the increase.
- 9:49Speaker 3: That's where that all came from because of that conflict.
- 9:51Speaker 3: And I think we need to get back to that
- 9:53Speaker 3: space and place in the local church so that we
- 9:56Speaker 3: can be the ecclesia and understand that I'm not... supposed
- 10:00Speaker 3: to be replicating myself. I am supposed to be replicating
- 10:05Speaker 3: the king. I'm supposed to be building priests and kings
- 10:09Speaker 3: that do the work of the ministry so that we
- 10:12Speaker 3: could move forward with the advancement of the kingdom.
- 10:16Speaker 2: I hope that makes sense.
- 10:17Speaker 1: No, my Shundo is Shundoing right now. Desiree, I'm over
- 10:22Speaker 1: here like, oh my gosh. When people say the Ecclesia,
- 10:27Speaker 1: I say, oh, they know the Bible. well well they
- 10:30Speaker 1: making it a thing now now it's hot now it's
- 10:33Speaker 1: hot now everybody's got a hold of me joy pitman
- 10:37Speaker 1: joy pitman is my sister in christ i just absolutely
- 10:40Speaker 1: love how.
- 10:42Speaker 2: The lord has developed us.
- 10:54Speaker 1: She says it so fast. I said, girl, you be
- 10:56Speaker 1: talking so fast. I've been having to break down what
- 10:59Speaker 1: you're saying, but no, you're talking good. What I think
- 11:01Speaker 1: is when we think about discipleship, we only connect it
- 11:05Speaker 1: to church. I think I didn't really fully understand discipleship until... I,
- 11:13Speaker 1: thank you, Holy Spirit, I hear you, till I met
- 11:17Speaker 1: my spiritual mother, who I didn't really know who was
- 11:19Speaker 1: my spiritual mother until, you know, all that didn't make
- 11:23Speaker 1: sense because I wasn't taught that option. You know what
- 11:25Speaker 1: I'm saying? I wasn't presented that as an option. But
- 11:29Speaker 1: when I come into understanding and now being at Rehoboth
- 11:32Speaker 1: Church Birmingham, where we're focused on discipleship, evangelism, and apologetics,
- 11:37Speaker 1: I'm learning more what that looks like. And so what
- 11:41Speaker 1: is the danger of us not appropriating discipleship outside of
- 11:47Speaker 1: the four walls?
- 11:50Speaker 3: It's a big danger. Now you said something. You learned
- 11:52Speaker 3: that discipleship is not just catered to or confined. I
- 11:58Speaker 3: should say that's a better word. Confined to the church system.
- 12:01Speaker 2: Not at all. Discipleship is holistic.
- 12:05Speaker 3: In the Enlisted, the program that we have under Truth
- 12:08Speaker 3: and Power Ministries, That was a mandate that the Lord
- 12:10Speaker 3: gave me. He told me that I'm to teach a
- 12:12Speaker 3: holistic gospel. And it's all biblical, straight foundation from the
- 12:17Speaker 3: word of God. We don't go outside of it. We
- 12:19Speaker 3: don't do no extra biblical stuff. He said a holistic gospel,
- 12:23Speaker 3: here's why. Because when we go out into the marketplace,
- 12:25Speaker 3: when we go out into the world, can they see
- 12:28Speaker 3: you without saying anything and know that you belong to
- 12:32Speaker 3: the kingdom?
- 12:33Speaker 2: Now let's break that all the way down. It's not
- 12:36Speaker 2: just about attire. It's about attitudes.
- 12:39Speaker 3: It's about decisions that we make. We can get as
- 12:42Speaker 3: deep as the pain points of health, exercise, the ability
- 12:48Speaker 3: to be restraint, to exercise restraint with self-control, to be
- 12:54Speaker 3: a person who governs ourselves and stewards what God has
- 12:58Speaker 3: placed in our hands in the form of the currency.
- 13:00Speaker 2: That we use here in this earth. It's holistic. If
- 13:05Speaker 2: we don't show up that way, it This is why
- 13:08Speaker 2: the world will look at the Christian church or those
- 13:12Speaker 2: who call themselves believers and look at it as a joke,
- 13:15Speaker 2: because you're not moving about the very place that God
- 13:19Speaker 2: in Revelation, in Genesis, in Psalms gave you man dominion.
- 13:26Speaker 2: He told us that the earth, he's given that to
- 13:29Speaker 2: the sons of men. Now, what's beautiful about that is
- 13:32Speaker 2: it didn't say the saved sons of men. He said,
- 13:36Speaker 2: I gave it to the sons of men.
- 13:37Speaker 3: And so you have to understand your role as a
- 13:41Speaker 3: son in the earth, period. Now you decide whether or
- 13:44Speaker 3: not you're going to serve the Lord or you're going
- 13:46Speaker 3: to serve mammon. That's your business and you got to
- 13:49Speaker 3: deal what you're in. But the reality is if we
- 13:52Speaker 3: are going to represent the kingdom, think about it. You're
- 13:55Speaker 3: representing an entire kingdom that governs the world. Are you
- 14:01Speaker 3: really doing that? If I look at you, if I
- 14:03Speaker 3: hear your speech, if I look at your a credit
- 14:07Speaker 3: score or look at how you handle money and finances.
- 14:11Speaker 3: If I look at how you care for your body,
- 14:13Speaker 3: if I look at how you even, um, um, uh, address, uh, eating,
- 14:18Speaker 3: if I look at all of those things, can I
- 14:21Speaker 3: say that you are a son of the kingdom? Now,
- 14:24Speaker 3: it's not to browbeat and it's not because I know
- 14:26Speaker 3: people have brought up these types of subjects and they
- 14:28Speaker 3: have just crushed people's spirit instead of giving them education
- 14:32Speaker 3: and insight on how to change the mindset. But it's
- 14:35Speaker 3: a long stringed history of how we got to this
- 14:39Speaker 3: place where we don't look like the king's kids. We
- 14:42Speaker 3: don't look like those who are. And I'm talking about bodily.
- 14:45Speaker 3: I'm talking about on paper. I'm talking about in relationships.
- 14:49Speaker 3: Our marriages are being impacted, just our platonic relationships. We
- 14:57Speaker 3: see people in friendships, in relationships with people in the
- 15:01Speaker 3: church as long as they're there. There's something toxic about
- 15:04Speaker 3: this whole setup. Therefore, If we don't teach a holistic gospel,
- 15:08Speaker 3: then we have a broken people at the end of
- 15:10Speaker 3: the day. That that is what solidified it for me
- 15:13Speaker 3: when God was sharing with me about 10 years ago.
- 15:15Speaker 2: This is how you're going to do this. You're going
- 15:17Speaker 2: to teach a holistic gospel. You're going to teach it.
- 15:20Speaker 2: You're going to teach it so that you'll be healed, whole, healthy, wealthy.
- 15:24Speaker 2: Those are the four quadrants.
- 15:25Speaker 3: That tap ministry is. is responsible for. We're going to
- 15:29Speaker 3: be healed. We're going to be whole and we're going
- 15:30Speaker 3: to be healthy and we're going to be wealthy. Those
- 15:33Speaker 3: four things, the world can't say nothing to you when
- 15:35Speaker 3: you got that under control. They can't say anything to you.
- 15:38Speaker 1: Nothing. I think you bring up a good point. And
- 15:42Speaker 1: even staying in this realm of marketplace ministry, there is
- 15:48Speaker 1: a I know when I've come up to understand that
- 15:53Speaker 1: there's a blend of both for me. I won't even
- 15:55Speaker 1: say a blend. Omar El-Takori, I'm not sure if you're
- 15:59Speaker 1: familiar with him, but he is a powerful foreign man
- 16:05Speaker 1: of God, and he teach people content to cash strategies, right? Okay.
- 16:10Speaker 1: And so if you don't know him.
- 16:11Speaker 2: Omar, yes.
- 16:12Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 16:12Speaker 2: Yeah, yes. I know exactly who he is. Yes, yes, yes. Omar.
- 16:15Speaker 1: He him. He him.
- 16:15Speaker 2: He him.
- 16:16Speaker 1: So one of the biggest things that I've learned from him,
- 16:19Speaker 1: like when he was on our platform, he was basically saying, like,
- 16:23Speaker 1: we as believers feel like we have to adjust sometimes
- 16:29Speaker 1: to the marketplace. But understanding that we are ministry and marketplace,
- 16:35Speaker 1: we could just be in a lot of the things
- 16:37Speaker 1: that we learn are biblically proven and pushed. But because
- 16:41Speaker 1: church has been identified as the way. Right? As the way.
- 16:48Speaker 1: I think what happens is, I won't say forget the
- 16:52Speaker 1: people that's outside that don't believe, but what happens, I
- 16:55Speaker 1: feel like it invites confusion and comparison.
- 16:59Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 17:01Speaker 1: When you have people like me, I love the Lord.
- 17:05Speaker 1: I love a good church. But I also love the marketplace.
- 17:09Speaker 1: I'm finding a love for being in the marketplace. And
- 17:13Speaker 1: there has been a struggle and a confliction because I'm like,
- 17:18Speaker 1: am I doing this right? And can I still be
- 17:25Speaker 1: saved and still be righteous and still be holy in
- 17:28Speaker 1: this space? So there's... I think that for me, it's
- 17:31Speaker 1: a comparison thing and not just in the sense of...
- 17:38Speaker 1: doing the marketplace or ministry, but what order do I
- 17:42Speaker 1: put it in? What, what, you know what I'm saying?
- 17:44Speaker 1: What timing? It invites confusion and comparison. And it's like, well,
- 17:49Speaker 1: I don't want them to, I don't want my church
- 17:50Speaker 1: to think this about me because I'm strongly over here
- 17:53Speaker 1: right now in this season. And so how do you,
- 17:55Speaker 1: how do you navigate and help people through it? And
- 17:58Speaker 1: what has your journey been when you were building Enlisted?
- 18:01Speaker 1: Because I can only imagine like you grew up in church, right?
- 18:05Speaker 2: Yes, yes, absolutely.
- 18:07Speaker 1: Are you a preacher's kid?
- 18:09Speaker 2: Not at all. Not at all.
- 18:11Speaker 3: So my siblings and I are like, you know, first
- 18:15Speaker 3: generation from our family to be preachers and ministers and
- 18:21Speaker 3: things like that.
- 18:22Speaker 2: My mother, but my mother was a prayer warrior. Yes,
- 18:25Speaker 2: she is. Amen. She's the one who taught me how
- 18:28Speaker 2: to pray.
- 18:28Speaker 1: Come on now. Yeah.
- 18:30Speaker 2: Yeah, all of that.
- 18:31Speaker 3: But, you know, it is there's a duality, which I
- 18:34Speaker 3: think is a beautiful thing.
- 18:35Speaker 2: If we would just read our Bibles, we would find
- 18:38Speaker 2: this in there.
- 18:39Speaker 3: If we would read our Bibles, there were so many
- 18:41Speaker 3: stewards in the Bible from the Old Testament to the
- 18:44Speaker 3: New Testament, stewards of businesses, these actual business owners. And
- 18:48Speaker 3: we will find them, especially in the early church, these
- 18:51Speaker 3: business owners who happen to be women sometimes. they had
- 18:56Speaker 3: the capacity to house the ministry because they had a business, right?
- 19:01Speaker 3: Now we get it confused and the confusion comes in
- 19:06Speaker 3: with us believing the mindset of the kingdom of God
- 19:14Speaker 3: being the building, being the system that we call church.
- 19:21Speaker 3: It has to course correct by returning to its original
- 19:26Speaker 3: role as the Ecclesia. We go to the book of
- 19:30Speaker 3: Acts where they had what? All things in common. Somebody
- 19:32Speaker 3: had to be balling. Somebody had to have enough resources
- 19:38Speaker 3: to even institute the idea of all things in common.
- 19:42Speaker 3: If I got a billion, you got a million, you
- 19:46Speaker 3: are a thousandaire, you a hundredaire, what we going to
- 19:48Speaker 3: do is bring everything together so we can all expand
- 19:51Speaker 3: and grow.
- 19:51Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 19:52Speaker 2: That's a business model.
- 19:54Speaker 3: So it's all throughout the New Testament and the Old Testament.
- 19:58Speaker 3: We see the Old Testament, we see it with Jacob,
- 20:01Speaker 3: we see it with Abraham, we see it even, you
- 20:04Speaker 3: can go all the way back to Genesis.
- 20:06Speaker 2: There is a model for productivity.
- 20:09Speaker 3: God did not make us in his image after his
- 20:11Speaker 3: likeness for us to just be here and shouting and
- 20:14Speaker 3: dancing and praying and all of that. No, you're after,
- 20:18Speaker 3: after you have engaged with God, you have a responsibility.
- 20:22Speaker 3: I teach my students that it's nonsense for you to
- 20:26Speaker 3: pray in tongues and you know, spend time with God
- 20:29Speaker 3: and you walk out of there without instruction. Instruction for what?
- 20:33Speaker 3: Instruction for you to do what God has called you
- 20:36Speaker 3: to do, to do what?
- 20:37Speaker 2: Impact the earth. This is where we have dominion.
- 20:40Speaker 3: The problem, again, is that we're waiting for the great
- 20:44Speaker 3: by and by.
- 20:45Speaker 2: He don't need a king in heaven. He already got one.
- 20:47Speaker 2: He don't need, you know, any rulers, nobody to take
- 20:51Speaker 2: dominion in heaven. That's already happening. It's a done deal.
- 20:55Speaker 3: What he does institute from the beginning is for us, man,
- 20:59Speaker 3: humanity to have dominion here.
- 21:02Speaker 2: How do you have dominion? You take. All right.
- 21:06Speaker 3: Let's look at the apostles. Why were the apostles hunted down?
- 21:10Speaker 3: Why were the apostles killed? Because they were changing systems.
- 21:14Speaker 2: That the apostle is a military leader.
- 21:18Speaker 3: It's a military term. It is a term of you
- 21:21Speaker 3: are making a threat. If you start establishing apostles, that
- 21:24Speaker 3: means that you are now establishing your own ecclesia.
- 21:28Speaker 2: You are establishing your own government. And so now this
- 21:32Speaker 2: government is coming up against.
- 21:35Speaker 3: The government, which, again, the people of God back in
- 21:38Speaker 3: the Bible, they was hoping that Yeshua would come and
- 21:41Speaker 3: tear up Rome and all of that stuff and, you know,
- 21:43Speaker 3: destroy all of the burden that they were under.
- 21:46Speaker 2: But they wouldn't get in the picture.
- 21:48Speaker 3: But in any case, the apostles, they came and they
- 21:51Speaker 3: set up the system that he instructed them to, to
- 21:55Speaker 3: turn the current system because that's what apostles do. It's
- 22:00Speaker 3: what we're supposed to be doing today. We're not doing that.
- 22:03Speaker 3: We're not ready to do that, but that's what it's business.
- 22:07Speaker 3: It is not something that is churchy. You're not an
- 22:10Speaker 3: apostle to build churches, right? You're not you're not an apostle.
- 22:14Speaker 3: You're an apostle to transform lives, systems, structures. That's what
- 22:18Speaker 3: you're an apostle for. That's my belief. According to scripture,
- 22:21Speaker 3: you are here to transform the systems that are in
- 22:26Speaker 3: place that are not in alignment.
- 22:28Speaker 2: With the kingdom of God. Why? Because this the earth
- 22:31Speaker 2: is the Lord's. We are his joint heirs.
- 22:34Speaker 3: We are the ones that are actually supposed to rule here.
- 22:37Speaker 3: but we haven't stepped into that place because again, we
- 22:41Speaker 3: are stuck in our tradition of what church is, what
- 22:45Speaker 3: the Ecclesia is, because those are two different things. And
- 22:48Speaker 3: so we move based upon what we're told and not
- 22:51Speaker 3: what we're informed of in the presence of the Lord.
- 22:54Speaker 3: That's a whole nother subject by itself, because we do
- 22:57Speaker 3: have to ask the question, are we spending time in
- 22:59Speaker 3: the presence of the Lord? Or are we just getting
- 23:03Speaker 3: our insight from YouTube and from Snapchat and from TikTok
- 23:08Speaker 3: and Instagram and all of that, because I can tell
- 23:10Speaker 3: you now, especially with the rise of AI, it's very,
- 23:14Speaker 3: very hard to determine whether or not people have revelation
- 23:18Speaker 3: of what God is saying to the church.
- 23:21Speaker 2: I hope that answered you. I hope that answered the question.
- 23:25Speaker 1: You're answering and you're talking well, woman of God. You're
- 23:27Speaker 1: talking well.
- 23:29Speaker 2: Okay.
- 23:30Speaker 1: Okay. Okay. Because in Enlisted, one of the things I
- 23:33Speaker 1: know is that Desiree has to wake up at 3
- 23:35Speaker 1: o'clock in the morning.
- 23:37Speaker 2: Come on. That's right. That's right.
- 23:40Speaker 1: Yes. That's all of that. Don't stop. All of that.
- 23:48Speaker 1: I said, Desiree, I don't know if I got it
- 23:51Speaker 1: like that. You know what I'm saying? And it don't
- 23:53Speaker 1: have to be three o'clock. That's just what me and
- 23:55Speaker 1: Delora got going on. Yeah.
- 23:57Speaker 2: And that's all right. And that's all right.
- 23:59Speaker 1: But you didn't stop that until enlisted. Okay? So, with
- 24:03Speaker 1: that said... With that said, you brought up the understanding
- 24:08Speaker 1: of knowing and spending time with the Lord, right? How
- 24:15Speaker 1: do you teach that? And what is the biggest thing
- 24:19Speaker 1: that people miss in doing it?
- 24:23Speaker 3: Well, I think one of the things I differentiate prayer
- 24:27Speaker 3: life and a life of prayer. Prayer lives are important.
- 24:31Speaker 3: You know, my prayer life, you know, I have a
- 24:33Speaker 3: prayer life. You hear people say that all the time.
- 24:34Speaker 3: I think this is very important because that is the
- 24:36Speaker 3: starting point. And let me back up and preface this
- 24:40Speaker 3: by saying prayer is not the end all be all,
- 24:42Speaker 3: but it is the beginning. OK, prayer is not the
- 24:45Speaker 3: end all be all, but it is the beginning. I
- 24:47Speaker 3: believe that when God initiates a relationship with us, you know,
- 24:53Speaker 3: we can't come unless he calls us and he begins
- 24:56Speaker 3: to draw us into him. And then it is our
- 24:59Speaker 3: responsibility to continue to engage him.
- 25:02Speaker 2: You see, he draws us by encounter. We was at church.
- 25:05Speaker 2: The Holy Spirit touched us. We cried.
- 25:07Speaker 3: Now we feel his presence. Now we want to know
- 25:09Speaker 3: more about him. That's the encounter of God. That's when
- 25:12Speaker 3: you start to develop that intimacy with him. And then
- 25:14Speaker 3: you start to have a life. You start to develop
- 25:18Speaker 3: a prayer life.
- 25:19Speaker 1: Why?
- 25:19Speaker 3: Because you want to know more about this God that
- 25:21Speaker 3: touched you. You want to know more about this this
- 25:24Speaker 3: encounter that you have. So you go seeking, you go searching,
- 25:27Speaker 3: you go reading your Bible and all of those things.
- 25:30Speaker 3: There is a difference between staying there and growing into
- 25:33Speaker 3: a life of prayer. I teach my students that you
- 25:35Speaker 3: become prayer, that you are a conduit for God to
- 25:39Speaker 3: use you. And you are a conduit that houses prayer
- 25:42Speaker 3: and intercession. It is something that God calls you to,
- 25:45Speaker 3: to go into a depth with him.
- 25:48Speaker 2: We can't stay surface, but you can.
- 25:50Speaker 3: The Bible talks about 30 fold, 60 fold, 100. And
- 25:53Speaker 3: some people are fine with 30 fold. You're not going
- 25:55Speaker 3: to hell for 30 fold. And that's another issue where
- 25:59Speaker 3: People look at things as heaven or hell issues. Everything
- 26:03Speaker 3: is not a heaven or hell issue. It's an obedience thing.
- 26:05Speaker 3: Did God tell you to get up and pray? Did
- 26:07Speaker 3: God tell you to engage? And even if he didn't,
- 26:10Speaker 3: if you want to know more, you're going to do that.
- 26:12Speaker 3: I teach my students that the encounter is God's responsibility.
- 26:15Speaker 3: The engagement is yours. You are responsible for growing your
- 26:19Speaker 3: relationship with God. I teach responsible relationship. And that part
- 26:24Speaker 3: is important for you to even get to the point
- 26:27Speaker 3: of instruction because you start with, well, you know what?
- 26:30Speaker 2: I'm going to start praying every day at 12.
- 26:32Speaker 1: Okay.
- 26:32Speaker 2: That's your prayer life. But then when you become a
- 26:36Speaker 2: person of prayer and you.
- 26:38Speaker 3: Are a, you are a life of prayer, you can say,
- 26:41Speaker 3: I'm a pray at 12 and God can say, fine,
- 26:44Speaker 3: that's wonderful.
- 26:44Speaker 2: But I'm going to wake you up at three. I'm
- 26:46Speaker 2: going to wake you up at six. Actually, while you're
- 26:48Speaker 2: in the.
- 26:49Speaker 3: Grocery store, I'm going to hit you with the spirit
- 26:51Speaker 3: of prayer in this in this moment. It's not unseemly.
- 26:54Speaker 3: You know how to handle yourself. But but you teach
- 26:57Speaker 3: your spirit how to moan and groan. You teach your
- 26:59Speaker 3: spirit how to engage with God. But that takes time
- 27:02Speaker 3: and discipline. And most people today, because time is a commodity,
- 27:07Speaker 3: they say out of their mouths that they don't have
- 27:09Speaker 3: time to engage with the one who knows their future.
- 27:12Speaker 2: To me, that is wild.
- 27:14Speaker 3: And so I have to teach people the simplicity in
- 27:18Speaker 3: the complexity of prayer, of a life of prayer, because
- 27:22Speaker 3: if you don't, they will live their life in that
- 27:26Speaker 3: mode of excuse. Well, I just don't have the time. Well,
- 27:28Speaker 3: then you don't have time to breathe because praying is
- 27:31Speaker 3: synonymous with breathing. The Bible tells us in what is
- 27:35Speaker 3: that first Thessalonians to 517 pray without second Thessalonians 517
- 27:41Speaker 3: pray without ceasing.
- 27:43Speaker 2: Without ceasing. How are you doing that?
- 27:45Speaker 3: You're training your spirit to engage with God. It's his
- 27:49Speaker 3: responsibility to encounter you. It's your responsibility to engage. And
- 27:54Speaker 3: so it's really about discipline.
- 27:57Speaker 2: It's really about.
- 27:58Speaker 3: Making a decision, learning how to choose life rather than
- 28:03Speaker 3: allow yourself to live this life and end up in
- 28:08Speaker 3: a spiritual death.
- 28:10Speaker 2: Jesus. Yeah, hopefully that makes sense.
- 28:13Speaker 1: Okay, General T, don't say that no more.
- 28:17Speaker 3: Okay, because sometimes my students know I'm really big on understanding.
- 28:22Speaker 3: I'm really big on understanding, so I want to make
- 28:24Speaker 3: sure people understand, but I got you.
- 28:26Speaker 1: One thing I'm going to do is ask a question
- 28:27Speaker 1: because we on what? I love this. I love it.
- 28:32Speaker 2: I love it.
- 28:33Speaker 1: You've said so much. And so little time. And when
- 28:42Speaker 1: I'm in this space, I'm thinking about my avatar. I'm
- 28:47Speaker 1: thinking about Keisha. That's my avatar's name. And when I
- 28:51Speaker 1: think about Keisha and what she needs from General T,
- 28:57Speaker 1: I think Keisha needs to make sense of how her
- 29:00Speaker 1: faith collides with her market. And even... Keisha has the
- 29:08Speaker 1: curiosity of, is it safe to be discipled? And what
- 29:12Speaker 1: does that look like? How do I know where to
- 29:15Speaker 1: go for discipleship? That's the first part. And the second
- 29:18Speaker 1: part is, with things like Enlisted, I didn't know that
- 29:25Speaker 1: I had to invest in discipleship. What would you say
- 29:29Speaker 1: to Keisha?
- 29:30Speaker 3: Well, that's loaded. And so the thing about it is,
- 29:36Speaker 3: The safety, let's deal with the safety aspect. I know
- 29:39Speaker 3: that people have experienced what we know as church hurt.
- 29:44Speaker 3: And I know that there is an argument of the
- 29:46Speaker 3: church can't hurt you because it's the Ecclesia. Well, those
- 29:49Speaker 3: are two different things. So we have some issues to
- 29:52Speaker 3: discuss there. The church is a system and the systems
- 29:55Speaker 3: are made up of leaders and people. And so people
- 29:59Speaker 3: do get hurt in that system. We have to address
- 30:02Speaker 3: that part because this is where the apprehension comes from.
- 30:05Speaker 3: So Keisha's apprehension is that she's had an experience before
- 30:09Speaker 3: and she doesn't know whether or not she can trust
- 30:12Speaker 3: this experience.
- 30:13Speaker 2: And is it worth it? And is it a waste
- 30:15Speaker 2: of her time?
- 30:15Speaker 3: Or is it going to be something that will actually
- 30:18Speaker 3: grow her and like grow her duality? The duality is
- 30:22Speaker 3: that we are here on this earth. We are citizens
- 30:26Speaker 3: of heaven. We are citizens of this earth. We are
- 30:30Speaker 3: in it, but we are not of it. That is
- 30:32Speaker 3: the duality that we do have to address. And once
- 30:35Speaker 3: we understand that and we're comfortable with that, then we
- 30:39Speaker 3: start looking for the principles of God being taught in
- 30:43Speaker 3: whatever community that your gaze is pointed towards. I think
- 30:47Speaker 3: I might be able to go here to get X, Y,
- 30:50Speaker 3: and Z. Do you see principles taught or are you
- 30:52Speaker 3: seeing somebody's personality being taught? Do you see principles shared
- 30:59Speaker 3: or is it that you see someone training you to
- 31:02Speaker 3: build their platform? What is it that you're seeing when
- 31:05Speaker 3: you're looking for those things? It's important for you to
- 31:07Speaker 3: have that autonomy and to know that you have that autonomy.
- 31:12Speaker 3: You don't have to be like, well, because you're on
- 31:14Speaker 3: a platform and people say, trust this person, I'm just
- 31:17Speaker 3: going to automatically do it. No, let's think. Let's use
- 31:19Speaker 3: common sense. Let's critically think. Is this something that represents
- 31:23Speaker 3: the kingdom? Is this something that reflects the.
- 31:25Speaker 2: Kingdom of God?
- 31:27Speaker 3: One thing that I teach my students is that Yeshua
- 31:30Speaker 3: never taught his religion.
- 31:32Speaker 2: He always taught principles.
- 31:34Speaker 3: And we can back it up several times when you
- 31:37Speaker 3: begin to read how he used Hellenistic ways of expressing
- 31:43Speaker 3: through parables and how he used poetry and all kinds
- 31:47Speaker 3: of things. He taught simple principles to the point where
- 31:51Speaker 3: you have the Muslims, you have those who are um, uh, what,
- 31:57Speaker 3: what's another, um, uh, the, uh, Buddhist, well, Buddhist weekend. Well,
- 32:03Speaker 3: I don't know about that, but, um, Buddhist, you have
- 32:07Speaker 3: all these different religions.
- 32:12Speaker 2: Don't get me started.
- 32:13Speaker 3: We have all these different religions that, um, that do
- 32:18Speaker 3: not believe he is, um, God himself, but they use
- 32:23Speaker 3: his principles. So there is a skill that was presented
- 32:27Speaker 3: to us without even saying. And so those are the
- 32:30Speaker 3: things that I teach them to look for. He's teaching
- 32:33Speaker 3: principle when someone and there's nothing wrong with rule and order.
- 32:36Speaker 3: I have a lot of structure, rule and order. That's important.
- 32:39Speaker 3: But when rule and order is.
- 32:40Speaker 2: Making me it's causing me to separate.
- 32:45Speaker 3: Um, from God himself and causing me to be more
- 32:48Speaker 3: loyal to you than I am to the instruction of God,
- 32:50Speaker 3: then we have a problem here. That's the one thing
- 32:52Speaker 3: when it comes to the safety aspect, when it comes
- 32:55Speaker 3: to investment, I want you to think about it. People
- 32:57Speaker 3: are investing in coaches. They have no problem investing 20, $ 30, 000
- 33:01Speaker 3: and you're not getting 30 days. You're only getting a
- 33:05Speaker 3: couple of weeks. And in those weeks, you better get
- 33:07Speaker 3: what you can and keep it moving. They're not responsible
- 33:10Speaker 3: for making you do what you've learned in the setting
- 33:15Speaker 3: that you have signed up for. It's the same thing.
- 33:18Speaker 3: Where do you think they got their model from? God
- 33:21Speaker 3: gives us these instructions. He says, here's this book. Everything
- 33:27Speaker 3: that pertains to life and godliness is right here.
- 33:30Speaker 2: It's in here.
- 33:31Speaker 3: And so now it's your responsibility, which is why I
- 33:34Speaker 3: teach responsible relationship. It is your responsibility to mind those
- 33:39Speaker 3: things out. And here's the other beautiful part. He's put
- 33:42Speaker 3: gifts in the body. The fivefold gifts that are in
- 33:46Speaker 3: the body.
- 33:47Speaker 2: The teacher, number one, is important. We need teachers. We
- 33:51Speaker 2: need teaching priests.
- 33:52Speaker 3: If we don't have teaching priests, then we're going to
- 33:56Speaker 3: have people who are fallible in their teaching. If we
- 33:59Speaker 3: don't have teaching priests, then we're not going to be
- 34:02Speaker 3: able to hear sound doctrine. You need to invest in
- 34:06Speaker 3: systems that reflect the kingdom, just like you would invest
- 34:09Speaker 3: in systems that will reflect your pockets. I firmly believe
- 34:13Speaker 3: when I started my business over 10 years ago, it's
- 34:17Speaker 3: called the mind box.
- 34:19Speaker 2: I would pray in the spirit just to get the
- 34:23Speaker 2: ideas from the clients. And you want to know what
- 34:27Speaker 2: they would say to me? How could you read my
- 34:29Speaker 2: mind like that? No, the Holy Spirit told me.
- 34:31Speaker 3: And these are not all, you know, believing clients. The
- 34:35Speaker 3: Lord would give me insight. So there is benefit to
- 34:39Speaker 3: having instruction on the spiritual side just as much as
- 34:44Speaker 3: it is on the natural side.
- 34:46Speaker 2: The Bible says first natural, then spiritual.
- 34:48Speaker 3: And there is a reason behind it, but I can
- 34:49Speaker 3: keep talking a long time about.
- 34:51Speaker 2: All of this.
- 34:51Speaker 3: But that's... the most important parts for Keisha is that
- 34:58Speaker 3: she looks for the principles of God, that she also
- 35:01Speaker 3: sees that they are building the individual and the individual's
- 35:05Speaker 3: life is pointing towards God. And then also when we
- 35:08Speaker 3: start to move into the investment aspect, if you think
- 35:11Speaker 3: that investing in a worldly system, is going to benefit
- 35:15Speaker 3: you more than investing in your discipleship, then I would
- 35:19Speaker 3: ask one question. And that is why I could answer
- 35:22Speaker 3: it probably from a different vantage points, meaning that we've
- 35:25Speaker 3: seen this before and those systems has failed. And this
- 35:28Speaker 3: one at the least can make me some money at
- 35:30Speaker 3: the least can give me notoriety. And this over here
- 35:34Speaker 3: is kind of shoddy. And so we have some work
- 35:37Speaker 3: to do as the body of Christ so that we
- 35:39Speaker 3: can be integral, that we can be a system that
- 35:43Speaker 3: is credible as well, which is one.
- 35:45Speaker 2: Of the things that we're working hard towards for our school.
- 35:48Speaker 2: Our school is fairly new.
- 35:50Speaker 3: I've been doing ministry for years, but the school is
- 35:53Speaker 3: only about three years old now. And we are working
- 35:56Speaker 3: hard diligently to get all of our stuff together so
- 35:59Speaker 3: that we can be an accredited school so that we
- 36:03Speaker 3: can compete with all the Ivies and everybody else. That's
- 36:06Speaker 3: important for us to be this type of system in
- 36:09Speaker 3: the earth. And now that is worth investing.
- 36:13Speaker 1: There's a longevity to the system that you're building.
- 36:17Speaker 2: Yes.
- 36:18Speaker 1: I just had like five questions in my head.
- 36:21Speaker 2: Listen, you asking all the questions and they just, whew.
- 36:25Speaker 2: Are they general?
- 36:26Speaker 1: Are they general? Approved.
- 36:32Speaker 3: My problem is it was talking too long but yeah
- 36:37Speaker 3: they they're good questions.
- 36:38Speaker 2: No this is good.
- 36:40Speaker 1: This is good um i can already tell you have
- 36:42Speaker 1: to be back on um because you you have more
- 36:46Speaker 1: wisdom not saying what i thought i think when you
- 36:49Speaker 1: experience people when you experience people it's like Where I
- 36:55Speaker 1: position myself with people can tell me where I want.
- 36:59Speaker 1: And you're the type of person, you're one of the
- 37:00Speaker 1: people that I want to sit at your feet. And
- 37:02Speaker 1: I want to sit at your feet and just listen
- 37:05Speaker 1: to the wisdom and understanding. And some of the things
- 37:08Speaker 1: that I know and I don't have language for, I
- 37:11Speaker 1: feel like you give that. And so I'm even thinking
- 37:16Speaker 1: about myself right now. I kind of feel, I won't
- 37:18Speaker 1: say I feel convicted, but I feel... I feel something.
- 37:24Speaker 1: I don't have a language for it right now, and
- 37:26Speaker 1: this is what I'm going to tell you. So on
- 37:30Speaker 1: August 13th, I was fired from my job, right? Now,
- 37:33Speaker 1: I knew that this was a 9-to-5, and I knew
- 37:35Speaker 1: that a long time ago, the Lord prepared me in
- 37:38Speaker 1: my heart for the idea of entrepreneurship, not working for
- 37:41Speaker 1: another company, and whatever it looks like, right? So fast forward,
- 37:45Speaker 1: I'm in this season right now of what is this?
- 37:50Speaker 1: What is this? And I feel like my realm has been,
- 37:53Speaker 1: or my calling has been with podcasts and my tool
- 37:57Speaker 1: is podcasting, right? But not only from a sense of
- 38:04Speaker 1: being a podcaster, but being the podcaster's podcaster, right? What
- 38:10Speaker 1: that looks like, even going back to Matthew 28, 19,
- 38:15Speaker 1: go ye therefore and make disciples. And when I think
- 38:21Speaker 1: about it and listening to you and the responsibility, the
- 38:26Speaker 1: responsibility to engage with the purpose of the podcaster, it
- 38:34Speaker 1: convicts me and my insecurities of the goal. Wow.
- 38:41Speaker 2: I feel.
- 38:43Speaker 1: I feel like I've done a disservice to the time
- 38:48Speaker 1: of God, of me, because I'm used to being the student.
- 38:53Speaker 1: I'm used to serving the teacher. But then there's this
- 38:58Speaker 1: point where Paul had to go without Jesus. It's a
- 39:04Speaker 1: point where the apostle has to go without Jesus, but understand,
- 39:08Speaker 1: like you said in the beginning, understanding the responsibility of
- 39:13Speaker 1: this still has to point somewhere and it can't point
- 39:16Speaker 1: to me. So I think the marketplace, understanding the marketplace
- 39:21Speaker 1: responsibility and my ministry responsibility, how do I navigate that
- 39:27Speaker 1: and honor that holistically, as you say? as you so
- 39:31Speaker 1: eloquently put it? I think, do you see where I'm
- 39:37Speaker 1: going with this? Because now you just got me in
- 39:39Speaker 1: my head about myself.
- 39:41Speaker 3: Well, you know, I think what's important is that we have,
- 39:44Speaker 3: let's look at society as a whole. And again, I
- 39:49Speaker 3: believe our nation has done some things that are great
- 39:52Speaker 3: and also have done some things that are terrible and
- 39:55Speaker 3: has shown us some things that weaken some opportunity areas,
- 39:59Speaker 3: especially when it comes to morality, when it comes to morality.
- 40:04Speaker 3: And when we think about it, how morality has been
- 40:08Speaker 3: stripped from our society, the responsibility lands where? Where does
- 40:14Speaker 3: it land? it should land on the body. It should
- 40:17Speaker 3: have already been the body, the church itself. If you
- 40:21Speaker 3: don't find yourself in a space where you can build
- 40:26Speaker 3: solid character, how do you expect to.
- 40:32Speaker 2: Really honor God in the marketplace?
- 40:35Speaker 3: Because the money is out there to be made and
- 40:38Speaker 3: compromise is right at the door. It's I've heard this
- 40:42Speaker 3: a million times and I'm exaggerating that number, but I
- 40:46Speaker 3: heard it enough times to say that there has to
- 40:49Speaker 3: be a truth to.
- 40:50Speaker 2: This, that the more you grow.
- 40:53Speaker 3: Financially, we're talking about billions and trillions. We're talking about
- 40:58Speaker 3: having money that you can actually take care of a
- 41:02Speaker 3: whole country. there's wickedness in those spaces. That's not to
- 41:07Speaker 3: say that finances are wicked. The Bible says money answer it.
- 41:12Speaker 3: All man's matters.
- 41:13Speaker 2: The Bible also says the love of money, not money,
- 41:15Speaker 2: but the love of it. Why? Because that is idolatry.
- 41:18Speaker 3: When we are, um, uh, focusing our attention or admiration
- 41:24Speaker 3: towards a thing like, um, as much as such as
- 41:27Speaker 3: money mammon.
- 41:28Speaker 2: And so it's important.
- 41:29Speaker 3: That you have both spaces, uh, taken care of when
- 41:34Speaker 3: it comes to responsibility. I am responsible in building character, integrity,
- 41:41Speaker 3: these core values. You need to establish core values within
- 41:44Speaker 3: yourself that reflect the kingdom. So when I do go
- 41:46Speaker 3: to the business table that my core values speak. I'm
- 41:50Speaker 3: not speaking in tongues. I'm not praying any long prayers.
- 41:54Speaker 3: I'm handling business. And the kingdom of God is backing
- 41:58Speaker 3: me because of my core is solid. I have a
- 42:01Speaker 3: foundation on this side, which allows me to purely represent
- 42:06Speaker 3: the kingdom on this side and to advance and grow.
- 42:09Speaker 3: And I know people say, well, you know, there's when
- 42:11Speaker 3: you get over here on this side again, like I've stated,
- 42:13Speaker 3: I've heard it from millionaires and billionaires that, you know,
- 42:16Speaker 3: it just gets really sticky. And there's some compromise that
- 42:19Speaker 3: is made when you start to make certain amounts of money, truthfully.
- 42:22Speaker 3: But then there are also believers who have also made
- 42:26Speaker 3: large amounts of money and have created businesses in that
- 42:31Speaker 3: fashion that have not compromised.
- 42:33Speaker 2: It's a choice.
- 42:34Speaker 3: But you can't make that choice without character. You cannot
- 42:37Speaker 3: make that choice without being a decided person. So that individual,
- 42:42Speaker 3: there is not a collide. There is not a conflict
- 42:45Speaker 3: when you have firm foundation in character and morality based.
- 42:50Speaker 2: Upon the kingdom of God.
- 42:52Speaker 3: When you have that, you can make the solid decisions
- 42:55Speaker 3: and you can go out and do the work that
- 42:58Speaker 3: God has called you to do effectively and efficiently.
- 43:01Speaker 2: The other part to that.
- 43:03Speaker 3: Is when you are in this moment of, Internal conflict
- 43:08Speaker 3: of is this, you know, am I glorifying God in
- 43:11Speaker 3: this business? You know, we start to deal with those
- 43:15Speaker 3: insecurities and all of that stuff. It is a question
- 43:18Speaker 3: of value. Do you value what God has placed on
- 43:22Speaker 3: the inside of you? The moment you can say yes,
- 43:25Speaker 3: it doesn't matter what anybody thinks. Doesn't matter, you know,
- 43:28Speaker 3: even how you feel. The Bible says if God be
- 43:31Speaker 3: for you, no.
- 43:31Speaker 2: One can be against you. And this is what God
- 43:33Speaker 2: told me. This is what God told.
- 43:35Speaker 3: Me some years ago. He said, if I am for me,
- 43:38Speaker 3: if I am for you, not even you can be
- 43:40Speaker 3: against Jesus, not even you. You cannot even be against yourself.
- 43:44Speaker 3: And so it's really a value issue which quiets the conflict,
- 43:49Speaker 3: the internal conflict that says, you know, am I doing
- 43:51Speaker 3: this justice? Am I doing what God said? And if
- 43:54Speaker 3: I'm doing what God said and this is the route
- 43:56Speaker 3: he has told me to take, then let me take
- 43:59Speaker 3: this route regardless of how unconventional it looks. And guess what?
- 44:03Speaker 3: That is rooted in character. That is rooted in your
- 44:07Speaker 3: relationship that you have been responsible with To build integrity
- 44:12Speaker 3: and intimacy with God in private so that as you
- 44:16Speaker 3: move in the instruction and direction of the Lord, that
- 44:19Speaker 3: all the other stuff doesn't matter.
- 44:21Speaker 2: He listen, I'll share this with you.
- 44:24Speaker 3: I was doing some senior tech hiring work and a
- 44:29Speaker 3: senior technical recruiter and doing some hiring work. And I
- 44:34Speaker 3: got some roles that I just didn't have any information about.
- 44:38Speaker 2: I was like, I don't have any experience in this.
- 44:40Speaker 2: This is a new role for me.
- 44:42Speaker 3: We're talking about, you know, technical things that I just
- 44:46Speaker 3: don't have language for.
- 44:48Speaker 2: God took me to the scriptures.
- 44:50Speaker 3: And he said, just like I gave Daniel the language
- 44:54Speaker 3: of the Chaldeans, that's what you pray for.
- 44:57Speaker 2: You ask me for the language of the Chaldeans.
- 44:59Speaker 3: Any market that I've put you into that you feel unqualified,
- 45:04Speaker 3: your prayer is.
- 45:05Speaker 2: God, give me the language of the Chaldeans.
- 45:07Speaker 3: It's not that Daniel asked to be like Babylon or
- 45:10Speaker 3: be like the Chaldeans. He gave him the language so
- 45:13Speaker 3: that he can help build. This man served under what
- 45:16Speaker 3: is about five different rulers. In that space, and God
- 45:21Speaker 3: gave him the language of the Chaldeans. He gave him
- 45:24Speaker 3: the insight, the understanding. And yes, they were princes and
- 45:28Speaker 3: children of princes and things of that nature.
- 45:30Speaker 2: So they had a different tutelage. However, they were coming
- 45:33Speaker 2: into Babylon. We as kingdom people are going into Babylon.
- 45:38Speaker 3: We need to know how to speak the language of Babylon,
- 45:41Speaker 3: but yet be people of character and integrity. That's how
- 45:45Speaker 3: we come into this system, this marketplace, hold our own,
- 45:51Speaker 3: not be unintegral and represent the kingdom because we know
- 45:54Speaker 3: how to pray. We also know how to ask the
- 45:57Speaker 3: right questions. We know how to stand where God has
- 46:00Speaker 3: placed us, whether we feel qualified or not.
- 46:03Speaker 2: Ask the right questions. God, give me the language of
- 46:05Speaker 2: the Chaldeans. You're in podcasting. Give me the language. What
- 46:10Speaker 2: is it? How do I succeed in all of this?
- 46:13Speaker 3: That's the questions we ask because it's a ruler. There's somebody.
- 46:17Speaker 3: These are systems that have rulers. Technology, media, sports.
- 46:23Speaker 1: There are rulers.
- 46:25Speaker 2: We're not here to serve those rulers. We're here to
- 46:27Speaker 2: take over. But you can't take over if you don't
- 46:29Speaker 2: know the language.
- 46:30Speaker 1: Right?
- 46:33Speaker 3: Again, it's like 15 topics in one question every time
- 46:37Speaker 3: you ask questions.
- 46:40Speaker 1: Do I need to niche it down? I'm sitting here like...
- 46:45Speaker 1: I'm sitting here like, Jesus. Because every time you answer,
- 46:49Speaker 1: you produce five questions in my head. This is what
- 46:53Speaker 1: I'm saying.
- 46:54Speaker 2: I be just talking too much.
- 46:55Speaker 1: I'm talking too much. No, no. But for me, like
- 46:58Speaker 1: you say, ask the right questions. And I feel like
- 47:01Speaker 1: when you ask a good question, another good question follows. Yes.
- 47:05Speaker 2: Yes.
- 47:06Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 47:06Speaker 2: But that's how you get to the answer. That's how
- 47:08Speaker 2: you get to the answer.
- 47:09Speaker 1: Yeah. I was, I'm just going to tell you this
- 47:11Speaker 1: fun fact or whatever, because I'm learning. I feel like
- 47:13Speaker 1: the Lord is really adjusting my sight in how I
- 47:16Speaker 1: digest the word. And I had a way of looking
- 47:21Speaker 1: at the word, but I feel like it was more emotional,
- 47:26Speaker 1: emotionally driven and satisfying versus the strategic, digestion. So something
- 47:35Speaker 1: so small, uh, it was in Joshua. And this is when, when, uh,
- 47:41Speaker 1: Joshua goes to AI and he, he sends less troops and, um,
- 47:47Speaker 1: He sends his troops and they were defeated. He goes, God,
- 47:51Speaker 1: like God, how you going to play me like this?
- 47:53Speaker 1: Everybody else going, this just, how you going to play
- 47:56Speaker 1: us like this? You know what I'm saying? I thought
- 47:57Speaker 1: we were supposed to have all this land or whatever.
- 47:59Speaker 1: Now everybody going to find out and they going to
- 48:01Speaker 1: try to think we ain't it. And he was basically saying, Joshua,
- 48:05Speaker 1: shut up and listen, okay? Somebody in your clan disobeyed me.
- 48:10Speaker 1: They stole, they took from me. And I'm going to
- 48:13Speaker 1: tell you how to figure it out. Ooh, this is
- 48:14Speaker 1: so good. It's so good to me. He said, when
- 48:17Speaker 1: the Lord said, bring all the Israelites, then I'm going
- 48:21Speaker 1: to tell you, you're going to separate them by tribe,
- 48:25Speaker 1: then go by clan, then go by. He went all
- 48:28Speaker 1: the way to the man. And for me, for somebody
- 48:31Speaker 1: that's an overthinker, that basically said the Lord, at every step,
- 48:35Speaker 1: the Lord is going to highlight.
- 48:36Speaker 2: What you need.
- 48:37Speaker 1: The Lord is going to give you strategy for everything
- 48:39Speaker 1: that you need to do. And it also spoke to
- 48:42Speaker 1: me as a multifaceted person. Like, okay, you might have this.
- 48:46Speaker 1: It might be in your congregation, in your demographic. But
- 48:52Speaker 1: I'm going to pinpoint what I need you to use.
- 48:53Speaker 1: I'm going to pinpoint what you need to destroy. I'm
- 48:55Speaker 1: going to pinpoint this. Strategy. It's strategy. Sometimes we can
- 49:01Speaker 1: over-spiritualize things, General T. And it's just strategy. The Lord
- 49:06Speaker 1: just provided strategy. So you can find the problem or
- 49:09Speaker 1: the solution.
- 49:11Speaker 2: And the solution.
- 49:12Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying? So I think even our
- 49:16Speaker 1: conversation today is just reminding me of seeing God in...
- 49:20Speaker 1: the manner of which he needs me to see him
- 49:23Speaker 1: yes yes i think that's so important and how we
- 49:26Speaker 1: miss because we we we we put him in a
- 49:29Speaker 1: place where he can't be seen anywhere else outside of
- 49:33Speaker 1: the holy of holies. He can still be holy and
- 49:36Speaker 1: still be strategic. He can still be holy.
- 49:40Speaker 3: Listen, he's God of the earth. He's God of everything.
- 49:43Speaker 3: Like why couldn't we take him into the marketplace? Why
- 49:46Speaker 3: can't you take him wherever you're going?
- 49:49Speaker 2: This, he is the creation. He is the creator of all.
- 49:53Speaker 3: If we think about it in Genesis, when it says
- 49:55Speaker 3: that we were made in his image and after his likeness,
- 49:58Speaker 3: what do you think we are supposed to be doing?
- 50:01Speaker 2: We're supposed to be creating. We are strategists.
- 50:05Speaker 3: That's why I tell them, my students, like when you
- 50:07Speaker 3: come out of prayer, praying in all them heavy tongues,
- 50:10Speaker 3: going to war, worshiping, all of the things, you should
- 50:14Speaker 3: come out with insight. You should come out with instruction.
- 50:16Speaker 3: You should come out with strategy.
- 50:18Speaker 2: And if you're not, go back and ask questions because
- 50:21Speaker 2: he is a God that will give you what you need.
- 50:24Speaker 2: There are types of intercession that I teach them about.
- 50:27Speaker 3: And one of them is the intercession frequencies In one
- 50:30Speaker 3: of the classes I teach called intercession frequencies, there are
- 50:33Speaker 3: low and high frequencies of intercession. The low frequency is
- 50:37Speaker 3: that behind the scenes, you know, I'm doing the grunt work.
- 50:41Speaker 2: I'm going before the Lord. I'm asking him. I'm going
- 50:43Speaker 2: to the courts. I'm saying, Lord.
- 50:45Speaker 3: What is it that is prohibiting me from moving into
- 50:48Speaker 3: the things that you called me to move into? Then
- 50:51Speaker 3: once I get that insight, then I go into a
- 50:53Speaker 3: high frequency, which is we go into war.
- 50:56Speaker 2: We go into strategy.
- 50:57Speaker 3: We begin to pray and we declare and we decree
- 51:01Speaker 3: because there has to come a point where you stop
- 51:03Speaker 3: asking and you start telling.
- 51:05Speaker 2: This is what's going to happen. This is what's happening.
- 51:08Speaker 2: So it is.
- 51:09Speaker 3: He is a God of strategy. He is a God
- 51:11Speaker 3: who gives us insight. We make him so small when
- 51:15Speaker 3: he is the God of the universe. And I don't
- 51:18Speaker 3: understand that. But then again, I do, because we're too
- 51:21Speaker 3: married to systems and religion that we are foregoing the
- 51:26Speaker 3: purity of relationship that he desired when he made us
- 51:29Speaker 3: back in Genesis. He desires relationship. He desires a people
- 51:34Speaker 3: who desires him the way he desires them. And in
- 51:37Speaker 3: that he's willing to give us inheritance. He's willing to
- 51:42Speaker 3: make us heirs and joint heirs.
- 51:44Speaker 2: Like this is, this is how beautiful he is.
- 51:48Speaker 3: I mean, there's so much more to God than what
- 51:51Speaker 3: it is that we have put out in the public
- 51:54Speaker 3: to see. We just think that he is this beautiful,
- 51:57Speaker 3: massive judge that's going to do things and we just
- 52:01Speaker 3: go to church.
- 52:01Speaker 2: No, no, no. He's the lover of our soul. He
- 52:04Speaker 2: is the one that wants you well.
- 52:06Speaker 3: He wishes above all that we would prosper, that we
- 52:09Speaker 3: would be in good health just as our soul prospers.
- 52:13Speaker 2: He desires that. So why? Why would he put in
- 52:17Speaker 2: our heart to serve him and to serve as an
- 52:21Speaker 2: answer and solution in this world And he not take
- 52:24Speaker 2: care of us and he not give us the answer.
- 52:26Speaker 3: He not give us the strategy. He made us answers
- 52:29Speaker 3: and solutions. So what, what, what, like, what are we thinking?
- 52:32Speaker 3: What are we thinking that God is doing? He's just
- 52:35Speaker 3: out here being arbitrary. No, he's doing it for a
- 52:38Speaker 3: specific reason. He's given you the answers and the solutions.
- 52:43Speaker 3: And then he's made you into one so that men
- 52:45Speaker 3: would see. And then what they're going to glorify your father.
- 52:49Speaker 2: That's a miracle. That's a sign. That's a wonder. We're
- 52:52Speaker 2: always looking at that as, you know, heal the sick,
- 52:54Speaker 2: raise the dead. Yes, beautiful, amazing.
- 52:56Speaker 3: But a miracle and a wonder is that God made
- 52:58Speaker 3: you a Fortune 500 business.
- 53:00Speaker 2: That's a miracle and a wonder.
- 53:02Speaker 3: And we did it all with the purity of heart
- 53:06Speaker 3: and hands, clean hands, pure heart.
- 53:08Speaker 2: And look at where we are. But yeah, it's a
- 53:13Speaker 2: lot to talk about when it comes to that.
- 53:14Speaker 1: I feel like I need to come to Chicago.
- 53:17Speaker 2: Come on. Come in December for the graduation. Come spend
- 53:20Speaker 2: a week. You know what?
- 53:22Speaker 1: What week is it, Desiree? The first one?
- 53:26Speaker 3: The first weekend. Yeah, and it's open. It's open to
- 53:29Speaker 3: the public during that time.
- 53:31Speaker 1: That's like our open house. Desiree has never invited me.
- 53:34Speaker 1: This is only my second time. I ain't know. You know,
- 53:38Speaker 1: I'm learning. So, come on. Yes.
- 53:43Speaker 2: That week is open. That's okay. It's all right. It's
- 53:46Speaker 2: all right.
- 53:46Speaker 3: I know it's a lot of information in the class
- 53:48Speaker 3: and y'all be not reading, so it's okay. But in
- 53:51Speaker 3: any case, I got to get them when I can.
- 53:56Speaker 2: I got to get them when I can.
- 53:58Speaker 3: But, you know, it's open to the public for that weekend.
- 54:03Speaker 3: They can come hang out with us and, you know,
- 54:05Speaker 3: experience what it's like for those three days.
- 54:08Speaker 1: Well, I'll probably be going to Chicago with Desiree, so.
- 54:11Speaker 2: I got to meet you in person.
- 54:13Speaker 1: I got to meet you in person.
- 54:14Speaker 2: Please. I got to meet you.
- 54:15Speaker 1: I just, I really, I, I, I want to say
- 54:19Speaker 1: this and I know I'm gonna let Desiree come in
- 54:21Speaker 1: and say her thoughts. Um, But there's something. I don't
- 54:26Speaker 1: know what that is. And you can get excited about people.
- 54:29Speaker 1: You can see people doing good things or whatever. But
- 54:31Speaker 1: I really feel like I got to see you in person.
- 54:35Speaker 1: I got to come see you because you got something.
- 54:39Speaker 1: I don't know what it is. I'm just going to
- 54:41Speaker 1: let God be God. But this has been really good.
- 54:44Speaker 1: And I would like to give you an open invitation
- 54:49Speaker 1: to just ask. I would like to give you an
- 54:52Speaker 1: open invitation to just ask because... We are in a
- 54:56Speaker 1: season of build or build. This has been our mantra
- 54:58Speaker 1: for the year. Wow. Build or build. That's what the Lord,
- 55:01Speaker 1: the Lord normally started dealing with me.
- 55:03Speaker 2: Yes.
- 55:04Speaker 1: At the end of the year for the next year,
- 55:06Speaker 1: I'm already being dealt with right now. I'm like, okay, Lord,
- 55:08Speaker 1: how do I, how can I prove this? Is what
- 55:11Speaker 1: you're saying. And everybody that he's brought has not just
- 55:17Speaker 1: been a builder, but been his builder. It's two different things.
- 55:20Speaker 2: My God. Yes.
- 55:22Speaker 1: Building it the Lord's way. It's frustrating because you haven't
- 55:26Speaker 1: seen it done the way he wants you to do
- 55:28Speaker 1: because it's always something different. Like podcast.
- 55:32Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 55:32Speaker 1: People like, oh, podcast. Now you have to do this.
- 55:35Speaker 1: But I'm like, the Lord is giving me a new
- 55:38Speaker 1: structure or a different eyesight, a vision for what this
- 55:42Speaker 1: podcast thing is. Now, does the market what they're saying
- 55:46Speaker 1: right now? Absolutely.
- 55:49Speaker 2: It is true.
- 55:50Speaker 1: And what I'm seeing is true too, but having the
- 55:53Speaker 1: boldness and the courage to build in a place where
- 55:56Speaker 1: it's already been built or they have a supposed to
- 56:00Speaker 1: be language type of thing. It's been interesting. So I
- 56:04Speaker 1: got to meet you. Desiree warned me in the best
- 56:08Speaker 1: way possible. I really enjoyed this conversation. Desiree, you did
- 56:11Speaker 1: a good job.
- 56:12Speaker 2: Me too.
- 56:13Speaker 1: This is awesome.
- 56:14Speaker 2: This was awesome. I appreciate the opportunity. I don't take
- 56:17Speaker 2: it for granted.
- 56:19Speaker 3: Desiree will tell you, I am moved by what moves God.
- 56:23Speaker 3: I am committed to whatever he wants me to be
- 56:25Speaker 3: committed to. I'm not like, you know, how most people, unfortunately,
- 56:29Speaker 3: in our arenas, you know, they're looking for established names
- 56:33Speaker 3: and platforms and things of that nature. I've been doing
- 56:35Speaker 3: this for over 20 plus, nearly 30 years at this point.
- 56:40Speaker 3: And God has just been amazing. We called ourselves Nameless
- 56:44Speaker 3: Faceless for years. And we have it on shirts and
- 56:48Speaker 3: all kinds of stuff. But it was an honor to
- 56:51Speaker 3: be that. It was an honor to be that, to
- 56:53Speaker 3: be the behind the scenes that pushed people and propelled
- 56:56Speaker 3: them by our life, not necessarily anything else other than
- 57:01Speaker 3: them having a front row seat of how we do things,
- 57:04Speaker 3: how God has instructed us to do things.
- 57:07Speaker 2: And again, we point them back to him.
- 57:09Speaker 3: It is not, we tell people all the time, the
- 57:11Speaker 3: way I live my life, it is not Tantaleo's rules.
- 57:15Speaker 2: It's in the book. It's in the book.
- 57:17Speaker 3: We live a life that is above reproach because it's
- 57:20Speaker 3: in the book. If I'm going to say yes to
- 57:23Speaker 3: this ministry and I'm going to say yes to being
- 57:26Speaker 3: his representative in the marketplace.
- 57:28Speaker 2: I've got to live above reproach. This is how we
- 57:31Speaker 2: make good of him. We allow him with our lives.
- 57:37Speaker 2: And so I think it's an honor to be asked
- 57:40Speaker 2: by anybody. I was like, cool, for real.
- 57:43Speaker 1: Okay.
- 57:43Speaker 3: Yeah, let's do it because you know, you don't have to,
- 57:46Speaker 3: you can find anybody else. And so I really do
- 57:48Speaker 3: appreciate it. And, and again, like I said, Desiree will
- 57:51Speaker 3: tell you, anybody will tell you I'm the same all
- 57:53Speaker 3: the way around 10 years from now, you know, the
- 57:56Speaker 3: Lord continue to grow our school and we are where
- 57:59Speaker 3: we want to be. Um, and well-established I'm gonna be
- 58:02Speaker 3: the same person. You call me up and say, Hey,
- 58:04Speaker 3: we want to do some more interview.
- 58:05Speaker 2: Let's do it.
- 58:06Speaker 3: It ain't, you know, this is how God engineered me.
- 58:10Speaker 3: And this is how I engineer my students as well.
- 58:14Speaker 2: I'm a witness. And so I make his disciples and
- 58:16Speaker 2: that's it. So this has been an honor. It's been
- 58:19Speaker 2: an honor.
- 58:20Speaker 1: Desiree, let's hear from you. Um, yeah, so, um, let
- 58:25Speaker 1: me type my seatbelt up just a little bit. I
- 58:29Speaker 1: just genuinely loved and enjoyed, um, this conversation because, um,
- 58:34Speaker 1: I think we're still in such a space where people
- 58:38Speaker 1: are just trying to figure out what this thing is.
- 58:41Speaker 1: You may be feeling like the Lord is calling you
- 58:43Speaker 1: to do something or to start something. And because it
- 58:47Speaker 1: doesn't look like church, sometimes we just don't know how
- 58:52Speaker 1: to steward it. And what I've learned is that when
- 58:55Speaker 1: you get in a place with God, when you really
- 58:58Speaker 1: start to develop your relationship with him and intimacy, He'll
- 59:02Speaker 1: begin to work out some things in you that could
- 59:08Speaker 1: be prohibiting you from really seeing what he's trying to do.
- 59:10Speaker 1: to get you to do. And also in that place,
- 59:12Speaker 1: he'll begin to give you the strategy and the structure
- 59:15Speaker 1: for what it is that he's calling you to do
- 59:17Speaker 1: because most of the times we're trying to figure it
- 59:19Speaker 1: out by what everybody else is doing. And when he's
- 59:22Speaker 1: giving you something so unique and so different, only he
- 59:26Speaker 1: can give you the blueprint for that. You know what
- 59:28Speaker 1: I'm saying? And that's just what I'm learning. Even in
- 59:33Speaker 1: the space that that me and Jess are navigating together. Like,
- 59:38Speaker 1: I didn't even know what podcast production was, if I'm honest.
- 59:41Speaker 1: I just had a camera and a little microphone. I said, hey, girl,
- 59:45Speaker 1: let me ask you some questions. And, you know, we've
- 59:47Speaker 1: just been able to navigate this thing. But even now. individually,
- 59:51Speaker 1: like the Lord is calling me to some spaces creatively
- 59:55Speaker 1: that I'm just like, I don't know about that. But
- 59:58Speaker 1: as I'm just navigating and journeying and being obedient, I'm
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: learning to trust him in what it is that he
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: wants to see in the earth. And so, again, General,
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: thank you for being obedient with your life.
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: Thank you all.
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: I can say that what she's talking about right now,
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: like this is literally like her life. This is literally
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: how she lives life. And I think it's important to
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: see because I think we've seen so many, so many
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: people who, who teach and speak a thing, but live
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: contrary to what the word says. And so when we
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: really step into kingdom building, it's important that we live
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: the life that the Lord has fashioned. Yes. I'm just
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: grateful again. General T, we want to give you the
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: opportunity to share, share about Enlisted because I know we're
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: coming up on a season where we're getting ready to
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: start again. So allow the people to kind of hear
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: the heart about what the Lord has you building and
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: how people can get connected to you.
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: Absolutely.
- 1:00:58Speaker 3: Thank you so much for that opportunity. Listen, the Enlisted,
- 1:01:03Speaker 3: it is God's desire. That's what I'll call it. It's
- 1:01:05Speaker 3: God's desire. In a nutshell, it is a holistic, supernatural
- 1:01:09Speaker 3: school of the spirit And it's TAP, we call ourselves
- 1:01:13Speaker 3: TAP University. And this particular journey is the enlisted.
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: It is nearly a year long program.
- 1:01:21Speaker 3: We have four onsites a quarter, four onsites a year.
- 1:01:26Speaker 3: So one a quarter, all of my students from all over,
- 1:01:29Speaker 3: they come to Chicago and we train and We impart.
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: It's one of our favorites. We have impartation. We teach.
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: We allow them to also do some speaking. They earn badges.
- 1:01:42Speaker 3: And it's just an amazing experience. I could not have
- 1:01:46Speaker 3: thought of this myself. God gave this to me in
- 1:01:49Speaker 3: a time and season where I was transitioning. And he said,
- 1:01:52Speaker 3: this is what I want you to build. Backstory to
- 1:01:55Speaker 3: this is that I hosted Neology, if you've ever heard
- 1:01:57Speaker 3: of that, Neology for years, going all the way back
- 1:02:00Speaker 3: to 2000.
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: And nine.
- 1:02:03Speaker 3: I hosted Neology for years and that was coming to
- 1:02:07Speaker 3: a pause, not a conclusion, but a pause. And so
- 1:02:10Speaker 3: he began to show me what.
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: Neology really is and what it was about and what
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: he wanted to do in it. And so then we
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: birthed the school.
- 1:02:18Speaker 3: And so this school, we're getting ready to graduate our
- 1:02:22Speaker 3: third first year class, December, the first week of December.
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: That is an.
- 1:02:28Speaker 3: Opportunity for everyone to come and to experience what it
- 1:02:33Speaker 3: looks like to be an enlisted Eagle. We'll be in
- 1:02:35Speaker 3: Chicago by the Midway Airport area. And so we'll have
- 1:02:41Speaker 3: more information. You can visit us at tapministries.com to get
- 1:02:45Speaker 3: more information about that. But the school itself, it has
- 1:02:50Speaker 3: been a blessing to many. Again, like I said, this
- 1:02:53Speaker 3: is our third year. We're going into our fourth year
- 1:02:55Speaker 3: and we plan to continue to do it perpetually. This
- 1:02:59Speaker 3: is something that God gave us as a tool of transformation.
- 1:03:04Speaker 3: If you don't remember anything about TAP Ministries or TAP
- 1:03:08Speaker 3: University or the enlisted, please know that we are a
- 1:03:12Speaker 3: ministry of transformation. It is what this school does. It
- 1:03:16Speaker 3: transforms so that the believer can be impactful, so that
- 1:03:21Speaker 3: the believer can be influential, so that the believer can
- 1:03:25Speaker 3: be one who is relevant in their spheres. And so
- 1:03:29Speaker 3: we say something in our school that we are intercessors
- 1:03:32Speaker 3: of impact, influence, innovation, and relevance. And I teach as
- 1:03:37Speaker 3: a foundation, the subjects of prayer and intercession, because as believers,
- 1:03:43Speaker 3: that is one of the kingdom's technologies that keeps us
- 1:03:47Speaker 3: connected with our father so that we can have the insight,
- 1:03:51Speaker 3: the instruction, and the strategy that's needed for us to
- 1:03:54Speaker 3: advance here in the world in which we live in.
- 1:03:57Speaker 3: And so we're super excited about that. We do have
- 1:04:00Speaker 3: an opportunity for those who want to learn more about
- 1:04:03Speaker 3: the program, October 19th, 2026 at 6.30 p.m.
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: Central Standard Time.
- 1:04:10Speaker 3: We'll be hosting our info session so you can learn
- 1:04:13Speaker 3: more about the program, what the program entails.
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: We have some new offerings in the program.
- 1:04:19Speaker 3: So if you think you know about it, still join.
- 1:04:22Speaker 3: And then you'll learn about the new things. We also
- 1:04:25Speaker 3: this last year, we started our for men only track.
- 1:04:29Speaker 3: So we have some men in the program and we're
- 1:04:31Speaker 3: so excited about that because we want the priest of
- 1:04:33Speaker 3: the Lord to return to their place, which was their
- 1:04:37Speaker 3: first office was intercessions. That's a whole lesson we talk about,
- 1:04:41Speaker 3: so I ain't going to give it to you here.
- 1:04:42Speaker 3: But in any case, intercession is a powerful office that
- 1:04:48Speaker 3: we could live in, live out. And that office allows
- 1:04:52Speaker 3: us to understand and appreciate our sonship. And as we continue,
- 1:04:57Speaker 3: we see how we are modeled after the order of Melchizedek,
- 1:05:02Speaker 3: where we are both kings and priests. And so We
- 1:05:05Speaker 3: take you through a whole journey of lessons, literally 42
- 1:05:10Speaker 3: plus weeks. There are so many lessons. There's lessons every week,
- 1:05:16Speaker 3: every other week for our year two students, every other
- 1:05:18Speaker 3: week for our year three and next year, every other
- 1:05:20Speaker 3: week for our.
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: Year four students.
- 1:05:23Speaker 3: And so we're very excited about God and trusting us
- 1:05:25Speaker 3: with this. Again, this is a school. It's a supernatural school,
- 1:05:30Speaker 3: a holistic supernatural school that deals with the whole person.
- 1:05:33Speaker 3: We believe in being healed, whole, healthy, and wealthy. And
- 1:05:37Speaker 3: we want to see the believer thrive. It is for
- 1:05:39Speaker 3: leaders as well. So don't think just because you are
- 1:05:42Speaker 3: a five-fold gift that you don't need this. You do
- 1:05:45Speaker 3: need it. You do need it. It's going to help
- 1:05:47Speaker 3: grow yourself personally, as well as those that you lead.
- 1:05:51Speaker 3: We have a number of students who are leaders in
- 1:05:53Speaker 3: their church and leaders We have a number of students
- 1:05:55Speaker 3: that have been sent by their pastors.
- 1:05:57Speaker 2: So we are not taking any members.
- 1:05:59Speaker 3: We are an extension of the Ecclesia and we cannot
- 1:06:02Speaker 3: wait to have them and then give them right back
- 1:06:05Speaker 3: to you. So that is just a little bit about
- 1:06:08Speaker 3: us and what we're going to be doing. Again, the
- 1:06:11Speaker 3: new year school year doesn't start until January 19th, 2027.
- 1:06:15Speaker 3: And so we're looking forward to our new students coming
- 1:06:19Speaker 3: in for the class of 2027. Thank you all for
- 1:06:20Speaker 3: letting me share that.
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: No, listen, we support it because there's evidence in the room.
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: Desiree is definitely evidence that Enlisted is a powerful, transformative opportunity.
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: So I just want to say thank you so much,
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: not just for coming to just ask, but being yourself
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: and obeying God. You are truly a gift. And it's
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: just been really good to talk to you. Y'all, we
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: ought to know. I know the T was 10, honey.
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: I know y'all was like, whoo, child. Who is this lady?
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: You know, you can go in the description and find
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: out who she is. But also, if you're interested in enlisted,
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: you should definitely go and join the program. A lot
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: of stuff is virtual. They do meet in person four
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: times out of the year. How do I know that?
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: Because Desiree, Desiree, Desiree, Desiree, Desiree, Desiree, Desiree. I'm like, dog.
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: And I always say, for what? For what? Why y'all
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: got to meet? Why y'all got to do this, baby?
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: But I'm grateful. But y'all, this has been good to me.
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: But what has been your biggest takeaway? Do you feel like, Keisha,
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: are you needing community? Are you feeling like you need
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: to be discipled? Are you confused about, you know, yourself
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: in ministry and marketplace and how that blends? Do you
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: understand the importance of being discipled and then going, therefore,
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: and making discipleship? Let's talk about it in the chat,
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: but until next week, until next time, remember, life could
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: be much more simple if you just ask. Thank you
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: for tuning in to this week's episode. Since you've made
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: it this far, you might as well connect with us
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: on all social media platforms at the Jessica S.
- 1:08:11Speaker 2: Smith.
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: I know I won't see you back until next week,
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: but until then, remember... To love always yourself and always
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: thank God for another day. Thank God for another day.
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: Another day older. Another day wiser.
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: Another day to get it right. Another day to rise up.
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: Another day living.
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: Another day with loved ones.
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: I always remember holding down for a ball one
