  Speaker 1: Time is one of our most precious possessions these days,

  Speaker 1: isn't it? We are so busy, so maxed out, flat out.

  Speaker 1: That it's difficult to take time with God, but don't
• 0:31
  Speaker 1: forget that you always have time for what you do first,
• 0:35
  Speaker 1: and if you put God first in your day.

  Speaker 1: You'll find he's not squeezed out, and when God takes
• 0:42
  Speaker 1: first place.
• 0:44
  Speaker 1: Then all of life falls into place. Learn to take
• 0:48
  Speaker 1: time with God each day. We're talking about God's grace
• 0:53
  Speaker 1: in our lives this week, and today we come to
• 0:57
  Speaker 1: Colossians chapter 3, starting in verse 1. It says, if
• 1:02
  Speaker 1: then you have been raised up with Christ.
• 1:07
  Speaker 1: That is, if you have found God's forgiveness because of
• 1:11
  Speaker 1: what Jesus did for you at the cross, and you've
• 1:14
  Speaker 1: been made a child of God and you've received new life,
• 1:19
  Speaker 1: spiritual life from God, if you've been raised up in
• 1:23
  Speaker 1: that way with Christ, then keep seeking the things above
• 1:29
  Speaker 1: where Christ is seated at the right hand of God.

  Speaker 1: Set your mind on the things above, not on the
• 1:37
  Speaker 1: things that are on earth, for you have died, and
• 1:41
  Speaker 1: your life is hidden with Christ in God.

  Speaker 1: When Christ, who is our life, is revealed, then you
• 1:51
  Speaker 1: also will be revealed with Him in glory.

  Speaker 1: Therefore

  Speaker 1: Consider the members of your earthly body as dead to immorality, impurity, passion,

  Speaker 1: evil desire, and greed, which amounts to idolatry.

  Speaker 1: That is, if you let those things dominate your life,
• 2:15
  Speaker 1: it's like you're worshipping them. It's like they're idols. You
• 2:19
  Speaker 1: should just be worshipping God.

  Speaker 1: For it is on account of these things that the
• 2:25
  Speaker 1: wrath of God will come.

  Speaker 1: And in them in those things you also once walked
• 2:33
  Speaker 1: when you were living in them, but now you also
• 2:38
  Speaker 1: put them all aside anger, wrath, malice, slander, and abusive
• 2:46
  Speaker 1: speech from your mouth. Don't lie to one another since
• 2:50
  Speaker 1: you laid aside the old life with its evil practises
• 2:55
  Speaker 1: and have put on.
• 2:56
  Speaker 1: The new self who is being renewed to a true
• 3:01
  Speaker 1: knowledge according to the image of the one who created him.

  Speaker 1: A renewal in which there is no distinction between Greek
• 3:09
  Speaker 1: and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave and free man,
• 3:15
  Speaker 1: but Christ is all and in all.
• 3:19
  Speaker 1: And so as those who have been chosen by God,
• 3:24
  Speaker 1: holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion.
• 3:30
  Speaker 1: Kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. What a contrast to the
• 3:37
  Speaker 1: earlier list of things that distract us from God. He
• 3:41
  Speaker 1: goes on bearing with one another.
• 3:45
  Speaker 1: And forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against any one,
• 3:50
  Speaker 1: just as the Lord forgave you, so also should you forgive.

  Speaker 1: And beyond all these things put on love.

  Speaker 1: Which is the perfect bond of unity.

  Speaker 1: Well

  Speaker 1: If you've been raised with Christ, if you have been
• 4:11
  Speaker 1: born again, if you have found God's forgiveness, if you
• 4:14
  Speaker 1: have been given spiritual life, then seek the things above,
• 4:21
  Speaker 1: pursue the things of God. Don't keep your life focused
• 4:24
  Speaker 1: on yourself and on your physical pleasures and all the
• 4:28
  Speaker 1: things that your life was focused on, but rather allow
• 4:32
  Speaker 1: God to develop in you His character, love, peace, patience.
• 4:38
  Speaker 1: These things you can't produce them on your own but
• 4:41
  Speaker 1: only as you build your life around God.
