- 0:00Good morning, and welcome to Have Faith, Let It Begin. My name is Angel.
- 0:04This morning, we're coming to you live on a Monday morning from my truck because
- 0:08I am ready to go to work, just like some of you are.
- 0:11And depending on what area you're in, you may be going to sleep.
- 0:14We are doing a live simulcast, and it's broadcast to you in part of Joint Two Jewelers.
- 0:20They're having great sales this week, so thank you very much for sponsorship.
- 0:24And we wanna thank the Kroc Podcast, which is available every Sunday.
- 0:28It is a podcast called Citizens United to Overcome Cancer.
- 0:32They're available every Sunday for cancer patients and cancer patients' families,
- 0:36thrivers, and survivors.
- 0:38We hope that you enjoy it. And with that being said, let's get started with
- 0:42another rendition of Half Faith Let It Begin because I believe today's message
- 0:46is one that you're really going to enjoy.
- 0:48I know I enjoyed writing it when I did it, and now I'm just going to go right off the cuff.
- 0:52And I'm being told that we are just now on, yep, we are now on Spotify going
- 0:56live. So here we go. So here's my question to all of you this morning.
- 1:01I know that when we wake up and we go to work or maybe around surrounding our
- 1:05friends, have you ever had somebody ask you, how are you doing?
- 1:10And you say, I'm okay. And then you're saying to yourself, I know I'm telling the truth. I am okay.
- 1:17I mean, I don't need another cup of coffee, right? I'm not talking about a coffee
- 1:21tired or a coffee not okay.
- 1:24I'm talking about the kind of tired when your brain is about 45,
- 1:29seven tabs open and you're pretty sure that music.
- 1:34Is playing in your head and you can't figure out what song it is.
- 1:40That's how much is going on upstairs.
- 1:42And that's where I want to meet you this morning. Because sometimes,
- 1:46you know, we get this idea that our faith is strong and has to be strong.
- 1:52We're supposed to be walking around.
- 1:55And when we are strong with our faith, when we walk around energized and we
- 1:58feel smiling, praising God, we always say to ourselves, is that going to be enough?
- 2:03Well, I'm going to hear to tell you right now that having faith can also mean
- 2:07it's okay to take a break.
- 2:09Have faith, let it begin. Starts right now.
- 2:33Good morning, everyone, and welcome officially to Have Faith,
- 2:35Let It Begin on this simulcast.
- 2:37Yes, we're talking right into it. We're going to dive right into it.
- 2:39I want to first and foremost thank all of our TikTok family,
- 2:43especially Jade, and I want to thank Savania for coming in and tapping the screens.
- 2:47We welcome everybody to the show, and we thank you. And we are still continuing
- 2:51to pray for Jade's family and her children as they continue to find their identity moving forward.
- 2:59Lord, we talk about faith. We talk about a walk by faith.
- 3:03This Sunday, live on TikTok, we're going to be doing another service,
- 3:0610 a.m. Eastern Standard Time, and we're going to be talking about our walk with faith.
- 3:10And I encourage you to bring your children because we're going to have a really
- 3:12awesome children's message, and I really think everybody will enjoy it.
- 3:16So how do we walk by faith, especially when we feel like God is not in control?
- 3:22You know, there are times, Pujo, welcome in.
- 3:25There are times when we wake up and we say to ourselves, is God really in control?
- 3:30And the reason why we say that is because we feel like there's so many things
- 3:34that are happening around us.
- 3:35So many times we feel as if, you know, all the negativity is surrounding us
- 3:39like this big cloud that hangs over us.
- 3:42And then we say to ourselves, where is God in that moment? Right?
- 3:45We pray to him and say, God, you got to protect me, man. I feel like you're
- 3:48coming at me from all angles.
- 3:49I feel like there's haters out there. I feel like there's people that just want to see me upset.
- 3:54But you see, let me ask you to stop for a second.
- 3:57And I know this is very easier said than done. And I believe me when I say this, I get it.
- 4:03You have to let all those distractions get behind you.
- 4:08You cannot let these distractions get the best of you. And I know that's very
- 4:12hard to do when you feel like these distractions are coming at you like these
- 4:16sharp arrows and you feel like they're about to pierce your heart,
- 4:19pierce your body. But here's the thing.
- 4:22What those arrows don't know is that right before they hit you,
- 4:26they're gonna bounce off because you do have this armor of Christ that is about, it's all over you.
- 4:32The only thing is we tend to forget that the armor exists,
- 4:37and we allow those arrows to pierce our hearts We allow those arrows to get
- 4:41the best of us and they don't have to they don't have to You know what you do
- 4:46in those situations or at least what I have done You reach out to good friends.
- 4:50You reach out to people that you believe can guide you can be with you Can hold
- 4:54your hand can tell you i'll pray with you.
- 4:57I'll be with you You know, just last week we had Boudreau on and be ready because
- 5:02she's coming on for another episode as she is welcomed into this family.
- 5:06And in a couple of weeks ago, we prayed for Jade. It came out of nowhere.
- 5:10And Jade was my inspiration to come back on the air in the morning because I
- 5:15realized that in a moment's notice, we don't know if there's people that could
- 5:19use our prayers, that can use us.
- 5:22Our smile, that could use our ears to listen.
- 5:25And you know, sometimes when I'm doing my show, people say, you're so great
- 5:31that you do the show for other people.
- 5:33It's just as good for you as it is for me. Because when I hear that what I'm
- 5:37doing is helping other people, it helps me because of my insecurities.
- 5:42It helps me because I wonder if I'm doing the right thing.
- 5:46It helps me because I believe that what I'm doing is the right thing.
- 5:51It's the right decision.
- 5:52You know, I look into the TikTok world. I look into social media and I see all
- 5:56this negative behavior. All these people that are renting bad behaviors.
- 6:00They're allowing others to dictate how things go.
- 6:03They're going into lives and they're, they're accusing people of things that
- 6:07either they know about or they don't know about.
- 6:09Welcome in D. And you know, what's really difficult for me to watch is how they're
- 6:14so quick to judge, but yet they don't want to be judged.
- 6:18So here's the thing. When people say things about you and you know,
- 6:21they're not true. I agree. We should stick up for ourselves. I understand that.
- 6:26But before you do that, say a prayer and say these most powerful words that
- 6:31I know is very difficult to do.
- 6:33Believe me, believe me, because I'm going to share a story with you,
- 6:36a very personal story that I haven't even told anybody, but I'm going to share with you this morning.
- 6:40Before you go off, before you do what you have to do to make sure you stick
- 6:47up for yourself, say a quick prayer.
- 6:49Say, God, forgive them for they don't know what they do.
- 6:53Lord, allow me to forgive them, but allow me to use my words rather than my
- 6:59anger to get the best of their abilities against me.
- 7:03So what I'm about to share with you is very personal, and I've never talked about it.
- 7:07But for the last two years, my brother-in-law haven't spoken.
- 7:11We haven't spoken for two years.
- 7:14And even though I can admit that my faults was part of that argument that occurred,
- 7:19and I could have done a better job,
- 7:21what bothers me is that 24 hours after I made a mistake, and I said something that I regret,
- 7:27I didn't curse at him, I didn't say anything disrespectfully,
- 7:30me, but I made a decision where I was, I said something that made him uncomfortable,
- 7:36and he threw me out of the store and I never went back.
- 7:40And, but I apologized. I asked for his forgiveness.
- 7:45Now I'm not turning the tables on this gentleman. I'm not going to say he's
- 7:49wrong, but he hasn't forgiven me in two years.
- 7:52In god's time but i have forgiven him so my point i'm saying is even when we
- 7:58forgive others they may not forgive you and that's okay but it's oh also it's
- 8:04also amazing and it's a great feeling to,
- 8:07own up to your mistakes own up to what hurts own up to what you've done to other
- 8:12people and learn from them and it breaks my heart because it puts a stranglehold
- 8:16on my marriage because my brother-in-law obviously is my wife's brother.
- 8:22And I haven't spoken about this. This is the first time I've actually said this
- 8:26out loud. Only a select few people knew about it, but it's been weighing in my heart for a while.
- 8:30And then watching these lives these past weekends as I was sick and in bed this
- 8:35past weekend, I'm watching all this hate, this rhetoric, these people that are hating on each other.
- 8:41And then only to find out when they either leave the live or they walk away
- 8:45that others realize that there was a mistake given, but they don't want to own up to it.
- 8:50Or maybe they go to the other live and they go, I just wish I would have said
- 8:52this, but they're too confident in their own pride and their own ego to admit
- 8:58that they were wrong or to want to be given first. It's not about who's first or second.
- 9:04It's about who wants to follow God's words.
- 9:08And let me tell you, when I say things like that, I cringe because I know there
- 9:12are a lot of Christians and a lot of Catholics and a lot of religious people
- 9:15out there They say things like and this bothers me.
- 9:18Okay, but they say things like if you don't follow the word of god If you don't
- 9:21follow the bible, you're going to hell,
- 9:23That's a whole different other episode I'm here to tell you that nobody's perfect,
- 9:28A lot of us cannot follow the bible a hundred percent. I don't i'm the pastor.
- 9:34And I'm embarrassed to say that, but I'm being honest. What would I do and what
- 9:39would you do if I told you that I was a perfect man, that I was this perfect
- 9:43person, and then you realized that I wasn't? You wouldn't believe in me.
- 9:47You wouldn't believe in what I do. I'm a broken person too.
- 9:51And I know what it feels like to say things and not mean them.
- 9:55I know what it feels like to hurt somebody and wish I could take things back.
- 10:00But one thing I've learned is okay to forgive. but you know where the forgiveness begins?
- 10:06With yourself. You have to forgive yourself first because you can't forgive
- 10:10others until you forgive yourself.
- 10:13So how are we gonna close this morning's out? Many of us are hurting.
- 10:16Many of us are struggling.
- 10:18Many of us have had people come in and out of our lives and disrespect us.
- 10:23It's time to forgive. I'm not saying you have to forget but it's okay to forgive,
- 10:28and move forward because only when you forgive yourself and others,
- 10:33You will feel better about yourself.
- 10:35Believe me when I tell you, it will make things better.
- 10:38It's the hardest thing you'll ever do, but I guarantee you, you'll feel better
- 10:42today than you did yesterday.
- 10:44Let's pray. Heavenly Father, we thank you for this morning's lesson.
- 10:47We thank you for coming together.
- 10:48We thank you for always allowing God's word to come through all of us.
- 10:53We thank you for people like Boudreaux, who is an inspiration to me and others,
- 10:57and she'll be on this platform. We thank you for Jade, who I am so grateful,
- 11:02There's no words to describe how much respect I have for Jade because of the fact that she's strong.
- 11:08She's such a strong individual. And what she has done for her family,
- 11:12what she continues to do for her children and be a strong mom, God bless you.
- 11:18And I know God's with you. And if you don't feel that, if you haven't felt that,
- 11:22call me, we'll pray with him and say, hey, she's not seeing what I'm telling
- 11:25her. She needs to see something.
- 11:28She needs to change. She needs a smile on her face. Let's make that happen.
- 11:32To people like Boudreaux, who has had so many scars in her life,
- 11:36who continues to try to find her way.
- 11:40I know, God, that you are going to find her path to righteousness because she's
- 11:45got so much to give to the world.
- 11:47And for the people out there that are watching us on TikTok Live,
- 11:49that are saying the words, amen, like Jay Lash, who I don't really remember
- 11:53who you are, but I welcome you into this family.
- 11:55And if we are following you, I'm following you back. And if we're not,
- 11:59whatever it is that you're feeling, my friend, I hope today's message resonates with you.
- 12:04And to Dee, who has been my friend for a very long time on this platform,
- 12:08who always has had my back.
- 12:11I know you've gone through some stuff. I know you felt like friends have left you, but you know what?
- 12:16Your real friends are here right now. And if you guys don't have her in your
- 12:19lives, if you guys don't have her, follow her.
- 12:22She is the epitome of what friendship is all about. And she's loyal.
- 12:26And finally, to the Have Faith, Let It Begin community, to family,
- 12:29welcome to a brand new day, a new era, a new day of forgiveness,
- 12:34because God has forgiven you.
- 12:36So remember that when you go out into the world today, say to yourself,
- 12:40I am a child of God, God has forgiven me, and I am now going to forgive others that have wronged me.
- 12:46So may God be with you, may he shine his light upon you, and grant each and
- 12:50every single one of you peace on earth.
- 12:53And never forget to have faith and let it begin. We're going to stop the live
- 12:57on this recording, but we're going to be live still on TikTok.
- 13:00Let me close them out. I'll see you guys tomorrow.
