- 0:00Speaker 1: Blue Leg Cap Podcast special guests in here, my guy
- 0:03Speaker 1: bron sooner almost You know, the Viobs be outside every
- 0:06Speaker 1: day all the way from New York Cali. You already
- 0:09Speaker 1: know the Bronx is in the building. We everywhere. Yeah,
- 0:13Speaker 1: that's crazy. You never been on my show though, No,
- 0:16Speaker 1: never man, Yeah, no, you've never been on my ship.
- 0:18Speaker 1: We did that above all shit. We hung out in
- 0:20Speaker 1: New York. We did a corner store bronch old keV
- 0:22Speaker 1: make a wish h eleven eleven. You know what's great
- 0:26Speaker 1: about that? That's the name of my nightclub. Well crazy,
- 0:30Speaker 1: see how it worked? Damn it. You got a new
- 0:34Speaker 1: album coming, that's a fact. We dropped February. Yeah, February tenth.
- 0:38Speaker 1: Ain't gonna love you for me? Twenty twenty three Viobs
- 0:40Speaker 1: new energy, new music. So we're just giving them a
- 0:43Speaker 1: new type of vibe. What's the name it's gonna be called?
- 0:46Speaker 1: It's my time because I feel like right now it's
- 0:49Speaker 1: definitely my time, like after everything I worked for me
- 0:52Speaker 1: and the team like we like twenty three, twenty twenty three,
- 0:56Speaker 1: that's for greatness. I ain't gonna lie. Yeah, you had
- 0:59Speaker 1: a busy twenty twenty two too, obviously you guys put
- 1:01Speaker 1: the group project out. Yeah, with you on point like op,
- 1:05Speaker 1: Dusty Ross, Well, that's a fag you were You were
- 1:10Speaker 1: the only guy not from Brooklyn on that huh Almost definitely, Yeah,
- 1:14Speaker 1: And I feel like probably the only person that ever
- 1:17Speaker 1: did a table booking people in New York like that
- 1:19Speaker 1: for me, especially like speaking from the bunks Britain, bridging
- 1:23Speaker 1: the gap right. Yeah, So I feel I was probably
- 1:25Speaker 1: the only person to do that in a minute, make
- 1:27Speaker 1: a table bookling people, and I feel like it's you
- 1:30Speaker 1: not in New York to one for me. Have you
- 1:32Speaker 1: been able to chop it up with Dusty since he
- 1:34Speaker 1: been locked up? I mean I still see my love ownership,
- 1:37Speaker 1: but for me, I ain't really get to speak to him.
- 1:39Speaker 1: But when the time is well, I definitely don't speak
- 1:41Speaker 1: to him. I mean I think he knew he was
- 1:42Speaker 1: going in, so yeah, he gonna be out for a
- 1:45Speaker 1: long time. He gonna be real smoothly, gonna turn the
- 1:48Speaker 1: shit up again. I never stopped, yall. Do you feel like, finally,
- 1:54Speaker 1: in the last year and a half or two, people
- 1:56Speaker 1: have because you kind of burst it on the scene
- 1:58Speaker 1: as somebody who was really funny online. Do you feel like,
- 2:03Speaker 1: now people are starting to see you as like the
- 2:05Speaker 1: rapper first, are you getting to respect? You think, because
- 2:08Speaker 1: you know, when you come in as like an entertainer, Yeah,
- 2:11Speaker 1: you got to kind of earn the respect of the
- 2:13Speaker 1: hip hop community a little bit harder. Fine, I feel
- 2:18Speaker 1: like now people understand because it's a new lane. Right
- 2:21Speaker 1: at first, it wasn't trending because like when you hear
- 2:25Speaker 1: music and you hear like while it came from I
- 2:27Speaker 1: was doing skits out first, but I was still focused
- 2:30Speaker 1: on music on the side. So I feel like that time,
- 2:33Speaker 1: entertainment wasn't really lit in the music business because people
- 2:36Speaker 1: that was doing drill music and things like that had
- 2:39Speaker 1: a different type of side of them. For me, you
- 2:41Speaker 1: never get to see the fun side of them, so
- 2:42Speaker 1: it was more serious. And that's why I feel like,
- 2:45Speaker 1: now you got YouTubers and all these new people. Now
- 2:48Speaker 1: it's a new lane for rappers to doc like that.
- 2:51Speaker 1: And since I was being the first rapper to do it,
- 2:54Speaker 1: it's like I opened the doors for a lot of
- 2:55Speaker 1: new artists to be themselves. Yeah, when we think of
- 2:58Speaker 1: drill music, we think of like very serious, like you know,
- 3:03Speaker 1: aggressive subject matter, and then you got someone like yourself,
- 3:06Speaker 1: who's just hilarious. Fact he's not afraid to be like
- 3:10Speaker 1: himself because a lot of rappers are afraid to be themselves. Man,
- 3:13Speaker 1: they're like, you know, they got to put on this
- 3:15Speaker 1: facade or this character when they're on camera. And I
- 3:18Speaker 1: feel like you've always kind of been unapologetically yourself. Yeah,
- 3:22Speaker 1: I feel like now it's just people Like with music,
- 3:25Speaker 1: it's just like maybe the fans tool for me, Like
- 3:27Speaker 1: they don't want to like show the fans that side
- 3:30Speaker 1: because they feel like the fans not gonna like it.
- 3:32Speaker 1: So it's always like a prob thing, like they don't
- 3:34Speaker 1: want to lose people for me, like say a nigga,
- 3:37Speaker 1: Like you're always serious, it's so open, so how they
- 3:39Speaker 1: don't want like right, I think that's the ship that
- 3:43Speaker 1: fans like more. But they feel like you're more relatable.
- 3:46Speaker 1: And but in life though, it's like everybody will always
- 3:48Speaker 1: be like they don't know until you take a risk.
- 3:50Speaker 1: Sometime people take that risk. Yeah, I mean I was
- 3:53Speaker 1: willing to take that risk, like to do everything like
- 3:56Speaker 1: whether it was funny and it was crazy, and they
- 4:00Speaker 1: doubted the tools. They never thought I would be able
- 4:02Speaker 1: to do it. So now for like Tom is definitely
- 4:05Speaker 1: right for me to make music about it and and
- 4:08Speaker 1: still be funny with it too. That's I think that's
- 4:10Speaker 1: still man who was on the album. Any features, We
- 4:13Speaker 1: definitely got a lot of features on it. We got
- 4:15Speaker 1: over six features, probably for me. I got Asian Doll,
- 4:19Speaker 1: Oh My God, Shai K, Dougie, b C. Blue, I
- 4:25Speaker 1: got the forty one kids. It's a lot of features
- 4:27Speaker 1: on there. And especially like New York orientated because I
- 4:30Speaker 1: feel like as New York, We're always going to stand
- 4:34Speaker 1: out for me. A lot of stations for me because
- 4:36Speaker 1: a lot of states doing any thing. But when you
- 4:38Speaker 1: talk about New York, the drill scene is so impeccable
- 4:41Speaker 1: because you got the people from different sides that's doing drill.
- 4:44Speaker 1: Like on b you got Lisa Keys, everybody that's doing drill,
- 4:47Speaker 1: Kanye West. So I feel like me going back to
- 4:49Speaker 1: New York and circling to do songs with these people
- 4:53Speaker 1: and sure that we still Yeah, how crazy is it
- 4:56Speaker 1: to hear like Alicia Keys singing over a drill beat?
- 5:00Speaker 1: Ship's kind of crazy? Right? Growing your Yeah by the day,
- 5:03Speaker 1: Like the more is new artist is, the more is new,
- 5:06Speaker 1: soiund for the drill genre. It's always gonna grow, It's
- 5:09Speaker 1: gonna last too. Would you consider fave Yo to kind
- 5:12Speaker 1: of be like the like one of the godfathers of
- 5:14Speaker 1: this New York drill ship because I feel like he
- 5:16Speaker 1: was kind of one of the first guys, even before Pop.
- 5:18Speaker 1: I feel like he kind of was the guy who,
- 5:20Speaker 1: like nationally, was making noise. I mean, correct me if
- 5:23Speaker 1: I'm wrong. Yeah, I'll give him his flowers. Your he
- 5:25Speaker 1: definitely put on for a lot of people, for me,
- 5:28Speaker 1: especially in New York, because you did a lot of
- 5:30Speaker 1: features your so definite give me flowers for that. Explain
- 5:35Speaker 1: to me. Uh well, first of all, kudos to you
- 5:39Speaker 1: k Flock and Dougie Beef for being man enough to
- 5:44Speaker 1: kind of put issues aside before things get out of
- 5:46Speaker 1: hand and get you know, I thought that was a
- 5:49Speaker 1: dope thing to see because a lot of artists, we
- 5:51Speaker 1: don't see people squashing beef. We see somebody on. You know,
- 5:57Speaker 1: especially in New York. People are losing their lives left
- 5:59Speaker 1: and right. Man, So I thought that was amazing Considering
- 6:01Speaker 1: you guys are off from the Bronx, and I feel
- 6:04Speaker 1: like the Bronx in the drill scene, it's not as
- 6:09Speaker 1: you know, big as guys from Brooklyn. I mean, you
- 6:12Speaker 1: guys are kind of like, you know, waving that flag
- 6:14Speaker 1: and to be as a united front. I think that's important.
- 6:18Speaker 1: What was behind you guys, you know, burying the hatchet
- 6:20Speaker 1: and squashing the beef. I feel like sometimes like miscommunication
- 6:28Speaker 1: most of the time. Most of the time like miscommunication,
- 6:30Speaker 1: like I met people in person, like for me, like
- 6:34Speaker 1: when I met Doug ee B, we talked in person
- 6:37Speaker 1: for me. So it's like those type of vials you
- 6:40Speaker 1: gotta see because a lot of times it would be
- 6:42Speaker 1: the internet. You got the Internet and between people that
- 6:45Speaker 1: always could stop a situation like even with like you
- 6:49Speaker 1: go back to like like fifties who probably is probably
- 6:52Speaker 1: madgit going on with the blows all types of shit.
- 6:54Speaker 1: But then you meet people shuit down. It's differently from me.
- 6:57Speaker 1: So I feel like you gotta sit down some people
- 7:01Speaker 1: and see the bigger picture. So you guys just kind
- 7:04Speaker 1: of sat down and were like, Hey, what are we doing?
- 7:06Speaker 1: Like nah? Yeah, Like for me, even even with my
- 7:09Speaker 1: man's bolguy he said collaborable competition. Like that's a quote
- 7:12Speaker 1: that I'm always going feel like that's gonna stand out
- 7:16Speaker 1: to me because it's like at the end of the day,
- 7:18Speaker 1: when you compete with people, is never gonna last. Because
- 7:21Speaker 1: you collab with them, you can make saying yeah, let's
- 7:23Speaker 1: get some more money. There's more money in collabing than
- 7:26Speaker 1: there is in beefing. Yeah, And that's why I feel
- 7:27Speaker 1: like I could be the artist to do that too,
- 7:29Speaker 1: because it's like, I don't have a beef with anybody. Like,
- 7:32Speaker 1: I don't make dis tracks. I don't make the type
- 7:33Speaker 1: of music where people feel like I gotta choose a side.
- 7:37Speaker 1: So when I bring all these people together, it's gonna
- 7:39Speaker 1: make sense. Yo. Whatever, We got to stop the interview
- 7:41Speaker 1: real quick to tell you about our family over at
- 7:43Speaker 1: my Bookie. That's right. Lots going on in basketball right now,
- 7:46Speaker 1: lots going on in the NFL playoffs are about to start,
- 7:48Speaker 1: super Bowls coming up, so much to gamble on. Let's
- 7:51Speaker 1: win some money. Go to my Bookie right now. If
- 7:53Speaker 1: you sign up for a new account my Bookie dot ag,
- 7:57Speaker 1: you can gamble from wherever you're at. Yes, go to
- 8:00Speaker 1: my Bookie and use the promo code Bootleg when you

- 8:04Speaker 1: your first deposit up to one thousand dollars. That's free
- 8:08Speaker 1: money in your pocket that you can gamble with. So
- 8:11Speaker 1: if you put a thousand bucks in your account, they're
- 8:13Speaker 1: gonna give you another thousand dollars to gamble with. So
- 8:15Speaker 1: go to my bookie dot ag right now, sign up
- 8:19Speaker 1: with that new account one more time. They will match
- 8:21Speaker 1: your first deposit up to one thousand dollars. All right. So,
- 8:26Speaker 1: like maybe you want to put two hundred bucks on
- 8:27Speaker 1: the Cowboys or some bullshit to win the Super Bowl.
- 8:29Speaker 1: You're gonna lose that money because fuck the Cowboys. But
- 8:32Speaker 1: let's say you do want to put some money on
- 8:33Speaker 1: the Cowboys. You sign up, you put two hundred dollars,
- 8:36Speaker 1: they give you another two hundred on top of that
- 8:38Speaker 1: free money to gamble with. Is called the double deposit bonus,
- 8:42Speaker 1: and you can only get it by using the promo
- 8:44Speaker 1: code Bootleg. So go to my Bookie right now, sign
- 8:46Speaker 1: up for an account. Let's get back to the interview. Yeah,
- 8:50Speaker 1: I do think that like you do stand out in
- 8:51Speaker 1: that way amongst your peers who make drill music as
- 8:56Speaker 1: to where a lot of your music subject matter isn't
- 8:58Speaker 1: necessarily uh derived in killing motherfuckers, you know what. And
- 9:04Speaker 1: it's like for me, granted, like my music is still
- 9:07Speaker 1: gonna make people adrenaline. Course, of course, you got so
- 9:10Speaker 1: much energy you can still you can still go crazy
- 9:13Speaker 1: to my music, but not necessarily to the point where
- 9:16Speaker 1: you gotta let me go out the window for that.
- 9:18Speaker 1: You can just still get crazy. Do you feel like,
- 9:22Speaker 1: in general, some of the guys in the drill scene
- 9:25Speaker 1: are kind of maturing because you know, there has been
- 9:28Speaker 1: people who have lost their lives, not anybody associated with you,
- 9:31Speaker 1: per se, but I just mean in terms of, like,
- 9:33Speaker 1: you know, now that you got guys like the uh
- 9:37Speaker 1: the new mayor of New York talking about banning drill
- 9:40Speaker 1: music and certain radio stations saying we won't play certain
- 9:42Speaker 1: drill music. Do you feel like collectively the scene is
- 9:46Speaker 1: starting to kind of realize, like there's more money if
- 9:50Speaker 1: we don't hurt each other and if we kind of
- 9:53Speaker 1: just I just feel like niggas wiping themselves out. Niggas
- 9:58Speaker 1: niggas because people who got understand like when you worry
- 10:02Speaker 1: about little ship, you're not gonna last out here, you
- 10:04Speaker 1: So I feel like it's the people that's that's that's
- 10:07Speaker 1: open touch now is the people that still here. You
- 10:10Speaker 1: know its gonna be new uties. So I feel like
- 10:14Speaker 1: the drill scene is not getting clear. It's just people
- 10:16Speaker 1: not lasting. So it's not that much people rapping out that,
- 10:19Speaker 1: you know what I mean. So I'm just wanted a
- 10:20Speaker 1: few to be still doing this because I feel like
- 10:23Speaker 1: I stay in my lane. I don't got to feed
- 10:26Speaker 1: into the negativity. So it's like and it's laying. You
- 10:29Speaker 1: gotta just know how to last. Have you had a
- 10:32Speaker 1: big homie in the rap game in New York just
- 10:33Speaker 1: put his arm around you and give you some game.
- 10:35Speaker 1: But you know I got good management, I got a
- 10:38Speaker 1: good family. You do have great manag I guy both.
- 10:42Speaker 1: I mean, like any any o g rappers like a
- 10:44Speaker 1: Fat Joe or like just watching growing up? No no, no,
- 10:48Speaker 1: like somebody who you who co signed, reached out you
- 10:53Speaker 1: know what, you know what it is When you do
- 10:55Speaker 1: it independently, you learn more. So it's like me being
- 10:58Speaker 1: an independent all this and just even know with some
- 11:00Speaker 1: different labels, it's like it's all the s is that's
- 11:04Speaker 1: doing ship, but they never get the experience to be
- 11:06Speaker 1: hands on. So when you hands on ship, you get
- 11:08Speaker 1: to see. So I'm learning everything. So a lot of
- 11:11Speaker 1: these artists don't know. So I'll get to talk to
- 11:13Speaker 1: them and see what I could do. You know, like,
- 11:16Speaker 1: I mean you obviously you're I was gonna say, like
- 11:20Speaker 1: you are very uh in terms of your your ceiling.
- 11:26Speaker 1: I feel like it's like superstartup because of your personality.
- 11:29Speaker 1: Would you ever consider acting doing movies ship like that? Nah,
- 11:33Speaker 1: most definitely. I ain't gonna lie. Like when the time
- 11:35Speaker 1: is right, whinning it makes sense, I'm definitely gonna do that,
- 11:38Speaker 1: Like I'm just waiting for the opportunity. Hell yeah, that'd
- 11:40Speaker 1: be crazy. Would you do it on a TV show
- 11:42Speaker 1: or some shit? I have an on TV show for
- 11:45Speaker 1: me be seting o girls backs, like I have my
- 11:49Speaker 1: own shit, yo yo. What is the one skit you've
- 11:53Speaker 1: done that you got the most backlash about or negative
- 11:57Speaker 1: feedback when people are like, what the fuck are you doing?
- 11:59Speaker 1: Because you've had some wild skits? Probably the new shit
- 12:01Speaker 1: the horse challenge, Like I feel like, oh, they got
- 12:04Speaker 1: the buleg coming over, bu Leg slide that thing back
- 12:07Speaker 1: of there you go, it's right on now years So
- 12:09Speaker 1: now I feel like the horse challenge because you got
- 12:11Speaker 1: some people that I haven't seen it, So what is it?
- 12:14Speaker 1: It's called the horse challenge where I'm sitting on girls
- 12:16Speaker 1: backs because I don't got a permit or license. So
- 12:19Speaker 1: when I sit on the girl back, it's transportation. Wait wait,
- 12:22Speaker 1: so and she like, she like travels for travels, so
- 12:25Speaker 1: she's like your horse. She's my horse for me. So
- 12:27Speaker 1: now it's the horse back challenge. But I feel like
- 12:29Speaker 1: that's that's something that people got to understand from me,
- 12:32Speaker 1: because you know, you got to that's that's my kind
- 12:35Speaker 1: of humor. That's about to go vital, maybe for the
- 12:37Speaker 1: wrong reason, but I'm with it. Yeah for me. That's
- 12:40Speaker 1: why it's like for me, it's however you look at it,
- 12:42Speaker 1: but how much you weigh like a buck buck fifty
- 12:44Speaker 1: buck fifty five? Now probably like one seventy one sixty eight.
- 12:48Speaker 1: I ain't gonna lie probably right now. I don't know.
- 12:51Speaker 1: I definitely got to rue the horseback challenge. Yeah, I'm
- 12:54Speaker 1: getting on any girl back and she let mean, I
- 12:57Speaker 1: love that. A lot of girls got strewn backs. I mean, yeah,
- 13:01Speaker 1: are you? Are you single at this point in time?
- 13:03Speaker 1: Ron are you? I'm not gonna say I single. I'm
- 13:07Speaker 1: having fun. You're having fun. I'm having fun. That's important.
- 13:10Speaker 1: I'm young, you are young. I have fun. I settle
- 13:15Speaker 1: How much music are you currently sitting on outside of
- 13:18Speaker 1: the album. We know the album's coming. How many songs
- 13:20Speaker 1: is that? And then I'm sure you got hard drives
- 13:21Speaker 1: for shit? Every time I go to the studio, do
- 13:24Speaker 1: it soon, So you got a lot of music. Literally
- 13:27Speaker 1: every time in my life that I went to the studio,
- 13:29Speaker 1: I did a song, like if the studios booked for
- 13:32Speaker 1: like me, Yeah, I did a song. So I feel
- 13:34Speaker 1: like that's like a thousand over a thousands. So what's
- 13:39Speaker 1: your writing process? Do you punch in or do you
- 13:41Speaker 1: write down a freestyle? So you're doing like you do
- 13:45Speaker 1: line by line? Yes, well most the majority of the time,
- 13:48Speaker 1: I just come up with the hook. Okay, I come
- 13:50Speaker 1: up with the hook. I try to make it catch
- 13:53Speaker 1: you like. Sometimes it depends on the beat too, you know,
- 13:55Speaker 1: like sometimes it can be a hit or miss because
- 13:58Speaker 1: music is not gonna always be one hundred percent. So
- 14:01Speaker 1: like I feel like with beats, if they beat massed,
- 14:03Speaker 1: my personality is gonna be a hit, so it's gonna
- 14:06Speaker 1: be natural. I go on the booth, I make a
- 14:08Speaker 1: hook that ship that as voted as natural. Brould of
- 14:12Speaker 1: got Yeah, I feel like you do have a you
- 14:16Speaker 1: do have a a proclivity for hooks for sure. I
- 14:20Speaker 1: feel like to fans for me, yeah, even with Graba,
- 14:23Speaker 1: what they're gonna say, Even with the remix, I feel
- 14:27Speaker 1: like that remix got so much viewsual to throws the
- 14:29Speaker 1: original one right for me, Like shout out to the
- 14:32Speaker 1: Skilly band, shouts for me. Everybody that did they think
- 14:36Speaker 1: on the remix, But I had the best remix. I
- 14:38Speaker 1: ain't go lie like you don't make the catchy as soon.
- 14:41Speaker 1: You know what's crazy is the first time I ever
- 14:43Speaker 1: see someone smoke a split in my life is when
- 14:45Speaker 1: I saw you do it well, because that's some real
- 14:47Speaker 1: East Coast shape, is no backwards. I saw you like
- 14:50Speaker 1: rolling a cigarette. It was weird with like the leaf
- 14:54Speaker 1: chopped up in it. What the fuck these broncass? Yeah,
- 14:59Speaker 1: that's the movie I go a lot. That's how I
- 15:01Speaker 1: feel like. You got to smoke out here because you
- 15:03Speaker 1: can control your blood like I feel like with a
- 15:05Speaker 1: backwood you can't even control. Do you have a paper right,
- 15:08Speaker 1: and then you put the weed in it and then
- 15:10Speaker 1: you chop up the grabble leaf. I mean it should
- 15:12Speaker 1: come up already like chopped up. Okay, okay, So the
- 15:16Speaker 1: so you go to the store and there's just a
- 15:17Speaker 1: chopped grabble leaf you buy and then you sprinkle that
- 15:20Speaker 1: in roll it up. Yeah, that should go crazy. So
- 15:23Speaker 1: it's like fifty percent cigarette fifty percent blunt. That's that's
- 15:27Speaker 1: like a different rollers Like I'm full of bunks. I
- 15:30Speaker 1: smoked weed. Yeah, okay, but I'll put the glob in
- 15:36Speaker 1: the right place. Nice look at you. That's the ratio. Yeah,
- 15:44Speaker 1: a lot of you know, I smove good weed. You're like, hey,
