  Speaker 1: What do they sound like, at least from my perspective and again, I come from that data-based, evidential standpoint so that there's a little more transparency in what you're going to get, at least for me if I'm reading for you and also what you can expect in potentially other readings as well, so you can kind of gauge your expectations, figure out what you like out of it, etc.

  Speaker 1: A topic that may bring value to others, or at least myself, would be your thoughts on the Catholic background and how it relates to the belief in spirit slash mediumship.

  Speaker 1: Thank you so much for this question, jamie, and I have been kind of mulling over how I want to answer this question for you, and I think I'm just going to take the really simple path that outlines why, to me, it is a similar path and why, to me, I moved into the spiritual space instead of the Catholic faith.

  Speaker 1: So what is consistent across the Catholic faith and kind of this idea of mediumship and spirit world, spiritual faith to me is that we all believe in a higher being and I'm going to say you know, god, universe, goddess, whatever you want to call it, there is a belief in a higher, higher being.

  Speaker 1: I also, just like the Catholic faith, believe that in the spiritual world there are angels, there are ascended masters, there are archangels Other people of other faith might call them different things, but essentially God has helpers of high rank, with powerful, with power that can help souls on their journey.

  Speaker 1: I feel like that's consistent across, regardless of what religion you're from right.

  Speaker 1: I also believe that we are placed here for a short amount of time and that we all pass into a spiritual world, aka heaven, where we are there to learn, to guide and to be reunited with our family and friends in the afterworld.

  Speaker 1: So I think these foundational things are in alignment with the Catholic faith and there are many differences.

  Speaker 1: But I just want to highlight what, to me, were the major differences between Catholic and the spiritual religion.

  Speaker 1: I don't even know what I want to call that, sorry are that the Catholic faith to me was very limited in the fact that they wanted to be between me and God, and I don't feel like I need a religion or a priest or a father or however you want to call it, a pastor, to be between God and myself.

  Speaker 1: I come from God, god has made me, I have God energy in me, like this is.

  Speaker 1: This is the reality for all of us.

  Speaker 1: We are all made from God's energy and and the way that spirit shows me, that is that it's like these, these string of Christmas lights yeah, ironically I use that, but it's the string of Christmas lights and God is essentially the plug that plugs us all in.

  Speaker 1: But we are all connected.

  Speaker 1: Every single one of us here is connected, and I don't feel like God would create imperfect things.

  Speaker 1: God would create souls who maybe need development and need to grow and need to become better or better aligned with who they are, but I don't.

  Speaker 1: I feel like God creates things that are perfect.

  Speaker 1: So if God creates things that image, so how can?

  Speaker 1: I'm sorry I'm some of you that have subscribed are probably hitting unsubscribe right now but but if God has made us in his image, his or her or its image, how?

  Speaker 1: How do we end up in hell?

  Speaker 1: And if he's an unforgiving God, god, or if he is a forgiving god that comes from unconditional love, why is there a hell like?

  Speaker 1: It just doesn't make sense to me.

  Speaker 1: So for me, it was these things that allowed me to kind of disconnect from the catholic faith having someone between me and god, having um souls that that burn in hell, even though god forgives everybody.

  Speaker 1: Like these things just never made sense to me from a Catholic background.

  Speaker 1: So I bring it back to, I want to say, the true teachings of the Bible, the true teachings of Jesus, where we are not supposed to judge others, we're supposed to love everybody, we're supposed to support everybody.

  Speaker 1: We are here for the greater good of humanity and society.

  Speaker 1: So those are the fundamentals that I have solidly anchored on in the Catholic faith and I feel like a lot of the fear-based things, like demons, like hell, like needing to follow the Ten Commandments.

  Speaker 1: To me, these are human constructs that were created to essentially keep humans in line and keep the powers imbalanced towards the people that are ruling.

  Speaker 1: Case in point I want to say is that do your research on the Bible and all these things, because did you know that reincarnation was originally in the Bible and Emperor Constantine took it out from the Bible and I believe it was like 249 or 200 something AD?

  Speaker 1: Yeah, he just took it out because it was more difficult to keep his people in line if they thought they had another lifetime to come back and try again.

  Speaker 1: Right, think about that.

  Speaker 1: The fact that there is evidence and proof that a leader changed the Bible to keep his people in line makes me wonder what else do they change about the Bible?

  Speaker 1: Right, like, because that was a long time ago and there have been a lot of leaders, religious leaders, powerful, you know, leaders of countries and armies, like, what else has changed in the Bible?

  Speaker 1: So to me, that's what disconnects me from the Catholic faith and actually faith in general, and just allows me to create my own natural, organic relationship with the spirit, world and God and heaven and the angels on the other side.

  Speaker 1: So, um, jamie, I think that was my the best response.

  Speaker 1: I can give off the cuff without going too far down into the rabbit hole.

  Speaker 1: But I guess, overall I would just say, for, for everybody that may be listening to this and kind of juggling faith versus, um, your belief in the the unseen is that we believed in God while we're in church and we believe in angels while they're in church, just like they're real.

  Speaker 1: And to me it's that same belief system, it's that same hope, it's that same love of those things that are unseen, and it's just shifting the dynamic a little bit to own what I think is the best way to have relationships with beings on the other side and have relationship with God, like creating my own relationship with God in a way that makes sense for me as my soul here in this incarnation, so that I can continue to be my best self, so that I can help others around me.

  Speaker 1: So he writes I love mediumship and there's something more that I'm interested in have you gained any understanding of the relationship between aliens and the paranormal?

  Speaker 1: Many people's experience seem to show that, some type of connection between the two phenomena.

  Speaker 1: I did a little bit of dabbling into paranormal.

  Speaker 1: I've done a little bit of dabbling into paranormal.

  Speaker 1: So I'm sure there are other podcasts and mediums or spiritual people out there who can run circles around me with this answer, but I you asked for my opinion, so I'm going to give it to you.

  Speaker 1: Richard, I'm going to say that I'm going to say that it's all kind of the same.

  Speaker 1: So I want to start with, I want, I'm going to start in one place and then I'll probably go somewhere else, but I want to start with the idea of ghosts, aka the paranormal.

  Speaker 1: So I'm going to, I'm going to take the idea of of ghosts as people who have departed and moved into the spirit world or didn't, and they like to haunt us here on this world.

  Speaker 1: So what I like to teach in a lot of my spiritual foundation classes is that, just like here, there are, I'm going to say, good people and probably not so good people here, and I'm going to say it's not souls, it's more of your spirit, your reincarnated spirit here, and there's people that can make good choices and bad choices.

  Speaker 1: There are people that are nice and people that are pains in the asses and that like to stir up trouble.

  Speaker 1: And that does not change when you go to the other side.

  Speaker 1: So as you pass into the spirit world and, by the way, everyone passes into the spirit world you don't get stuck.

  Speaker 1: You don't get stuck here in the physical world, everyone passes into the spiritual world.

  Speaker 1: But it's just, where do they want to go once they're in the spiritual world, is the question.

  Speaker 1: So some spirits decide to stay here on earth.

  Speaker 1: Some spirits go directly to heaven, like they don't.

  Speaker 1: They pass go, they collect their $200, they go to heaven or into the other dimensions of the spiritual world.

  Speaker 1: So I do think there are troublesome, meddling spirits that like to fuck with us.

  Speaker 1: I never, ever, think that these spirits that are here, that linger, come from bad intention.

  Speaker 1: I do not think they are demons.

  Speaker 1: I do not think there's anything bad to the unseen.

  Speaker 1: Um and I know a lot of you are shaking your heads right now saying you disagree and again, this is based on my experience.

  Speaker 1: I have I have just met very angry, bitter souls that have presented to me in very negative ways, but ultimately I choose to see them as souls that might need a little more love and had a bad life here and they're kind of they're still still staying here and projecting that persona out into the world.

  Speaker 1: So I guess that's my perspective on, like quote unquote, ghosts and the paranormal activity is just meddlesome spirits that that want to stir up trouble.

  Speaker 1: Aliens, I feel like, could do the same thing, but I'm going to actually do one deeper than aliens, because I also think there's interdimensional beings that are here in this world.

  Speaker 1: I think that we live in many parallel timelines and that, I think, is where a lot of the reincarnation comes.

  Speaker 1: So I guess, even though I believe in all that stuff, I kind of like nod to it, like it's the dishes in my sink that I need to do and say, thanks, I see you, but I have to go go run now, I have to go exercise now, and I just kind of ignore them, just like my freaking dirty dishes.

  Speaker 1: So I guess that's my experience with it, richard, is that, yeah, I think all of it exists, I think all of it's real, and then you can do what you want with it.

  Speaker 1: I just tend to ignore it and talk more about the things that impact our day to day and helping the people that, like, actually need the help here, instead of talking about the paranormal and all that stuff.

  Speaker 1: And then the last one I have here is from Amelia, and she sent this email very recently and she said, after her husband had passed, some hurtful information has resurfaced that made me question our relationship and the love he has for me and everything else.

  Speaker 1: So, number one, amelia, I just wanted to say I'm so sorry for your loss.

  Speaker 1: It's enough that your husband has passed, but then you find out things from beyond the grave that he has hidden and it don't feel good Like it just doesn't feel good that and you're you're wondering who, who he was and why, why he would do that to you.

  Speaker 1: So let me take a moment just to tap in apologies for the couple of seconds of quiet, but I'm just and this is not evidential, this is just me channeling the information, but I'm just hearing him say that he's sorry.

  Speaker 1: I feel like he rolled the dice with a lot of the stuff and, amelia, maybe you understand that, but I'm feeling like he rolled the dice with a lot of stuff and he lost, like he thought he won, because I can see like he's got the double sevens on the dice.

  Speaker 1: He thought he won but then he lost, because now he has no way to explain or make up for the fact about what he did.

  Speaker 1: So the energy I'm getting from him, amelia, is that he wants to separate you from him, and when I say that, I mean that the choices he made were his to make, and I don't think he was considering you.

  Speaker 1: Okay, what's interesting is they're showing me this is almost like ripping the band-aid off for you, and it's like you found out all of this at once, and it's just something like everything has come up at the same time and or in very close proximity to each other.

  Speaker 1: So this is ripping the band-aid off and allowing you to fully and deeply heal this passing so that you can move on, and spirits telling me rebirth.

  Speaker 1: So this is an opportunity for you to work through your trauma, work through your issues, work through these things that have resurfaced and making sure again you're separating out who he is from who you are.

  Speaker 1: What were the decisions he made, but also who you are, because you are not a reflection of his words and behaviors.

  Speaker 1: So I guess that's why I wanted spirits like boom, mic, drop right there, so take this time to work through it.

  Speaker 1: I feel like spirits giving you this opportunity to dig through it and honestly make space for you.

  Speaker 1: So I feel like maybe things in your world have slowed down a little bit or like have crawled to a stop so that you have time to process and go through this.

  Speaker 1: And then it feels like to me once you do process and go through this, you come out the other side as a new woman and you're free.

  Speaker 1: I mean you're free, so this is what it feels like to me, and I and I don't I don't know what your husband did.

  Speaker 1: So know that you again are unconditionally loved.

  Speaker 1: I know you have other departed loved ones that are watching over you and really care for you and really protect you, and don't let the decisions of one knucklehead change who you are and what you're here to do.

  Speaker 1: So take that deep breath, do the work and move past it and don't look back.
