- 0:02Speaker 1: I have found a loophole that has got to is
- 0:05Speaker 1: going to likely make just about every single mother listening
- 0:10Speaker 1: to the Big ninety eight point seven morning shall very
- 0:12Speaker 1: upset with me here this morning?
- 0:13Speaker 2: What why?
- 0:16Speaker 1: Because this is what I do, Angie, It's what I do.
- 0:19Speaker 1: I find fun conversations and try to make an argument
- 0:22Speaker 1: for the other side. And you know what fellas I
- 0:25Speaker 1: got us covered here today. You know that age old question,
- 0:29Speaker 1: what's worse childbirth or a man getting hit between the legs?
- 0:34Speaker 3: Yes, and childbirth is the obvious answer, the obvious answer
- 0:40Speaker 3: as someone who's given birth twice. Yeah, then I guess
- 0:45Speaker 3: I haven't been. I don't have the anatomy to get
- 0:48Speaker 3: hit in between the legs and then feel paid.
- 0:50Speaker 2: I just but it's there's no comparison.
- 0:53Speaker 1: I just don't know if that answer is as clear
- 0:55Speaker 1: cut and dry as you think it is.
- 0:56Speaker 4: Angie.
- 0:57Speaker 2: Of course you don't think.
- 0:58Speaker 3: So what are you saying to me, Gabe, I'm so
- 1:02Speaker 3: annoyed already? All right, Well, I'm annoyed on behalf of
- 1:05Speaker 3: all the mothers.
- 1:06Speaker 4: All right? Well, here would be my argument.
- 1:10Speaker 1: Every single day, every day, there are women who are
- 1:16Speaker 1: ready for their second, third, fourth, fifth child, Right, they
- 1:22Speaker 1: give birth to multiple individuals with joy, love and excitement. Yes,
- 1:28Speaker 1: not one time in the history of ever has a
- 1:33Speaker 1: gentleman been hit between the legs and went, you know what,
- 1:36Speaker 1: let's run that back and do it again.
- 1:39Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, Okay, well let's see.
- 1:44Speaker 2: Let me let them.
- 1:49Speaker 4: Seven oh one two eight zero. Am I onto something?
- 1:52Speaker 1: Fellas, I need you to back me up here this morning?
- 1:55Speaker 1: All right, let me know if I'm onto something.
- 1:57Speaker 5: No, no, And if you have a little victory that
- 2:06Speaker 5: you want to share with us, give us a call.
- 2:07Speaker 2: Seven one to eight O one nine eight seven.
- 2:10Speaker 3: My little victory game is that I just had the
- 2:14Speaker 3: legit most perfect.
- 2:16Speaker 2: Weekend, the entire weekend perfect.
- 2:19Speaker 3: I saw Superman movie on Friday, I went to the
- 2:22Speaker 3: Farmer's Market and got some delicious cherry tomatoes and some
- 2:27Speaker 3: sangria downtown, And then yesterday I went to Detroit Lakes
- 2:32Speaker 3: for the first time. All sure, yes, and hung out
- 2:35Speaker 3: on the beach and got a tan. I mean, it
- 2:37Speaker 3: was really just the best weekend ever.
- 2:39Speaker 4: Not only that, I believe, and correct me if I'm wrong.
- 2:42Speaker 1: I think you made a stop at a staple in
- 2:44Speaker 1: d l Oh.
- 2:45Speaker 2: Yeah, I went and had to drink at Zorbi.
- 2:47Speaker 4: Oh, yeah you did.
- 2:48Speaker 3: Yeah, And then I watched the end of I think
- 2:51Speaker 3: it was Wimbledon, so I got to see the one
- 2:54Speaker 3: which was Sinner, and it was nice to just be
- 2:56Speaker 3: sitting on a cold beverage at Zorba's watching tennis.
- 3:00Speaker 2: My life was made well.
- 3:01Speaker 1: Good for you doing a little explore in the surrounding
- 3:04Speaker 1: area of the FM area.
- 3:06Speaker 2: Yes, exactly.
- 3:07Speaker 1: I'm glad you had a great weekend. I got to
- 3:09Speaker 1: see History on Saturday. It was pretty darn cool. My wife,
- 3:13Speaker 1: my buddy Tony, and I went to the Twins game
- 3:16Speaker 1: where they played the Pirates and they smoked them. I
- 3:18Speaker 1: mean they It wasn't even close from basically the second
- 3:22Speaker 1: inning on.
- 3:22Speaker 4: So we got to see a fun game.
- 3:24Speaker 1: But there was something in that game, and you maybe
- 3:26Speaker 1: heard it in the trenders about thirteen minutes ago, if
- 3:28Speaker 1: you didn't. Byron Buxton, who was an All Star will
- 3:31Speaker 1: play in an All Star game for the Minnesota Twins.
- 3:34Speaker 1: He did something that has never been done at target Field.
- 3:37Speaker 1: Target Field where the Twins play was built and became
- 3:40Speaker 1: a thing in twenty ten, if I'm not mistaken, so
- 3:44Speaker 1: fifteen years, no one has ever hit for the cycle
- 3:48Speaker 1: at target field. If you don't know what the cycle
- 3:50Speaker 1: it is, it's where you hit a single, you hit
- 3:52Speaker 1: a double, you hit a triple and a home run
- 3:55Speaker 1: all in one game.
- 3:56Speaker 4: That was incredible.
- 3:57Speaker 1: Plenty of people, yeah, plenty of people will get the double,
- 4:00Speaker 1: the homer and the single. Those are all kind of,
- 4:02Speaker 1: you know, the easier ones to do. But he got
- 4:05Speaker 1: a triple in the third inning, double in the fourth inning,
- 4:10Speaker 1: and me and my buddy Tony were like, wait, could
- 4:12Speaker 1: he really do this? And then you know, he gets
- 4:14Speaker 1: another hit, another hit, and then he's up in the
- 4:17Speaker 1: seventh with a chance to hit a home run, and
- 4:19Speaker 1: the first pitch strike, second pitch, he fouls off right
- 4:22Speaker 1: behind home plate and we're going, oh, you missed it,
- 4:24Speaker 1: Like there was his chance. So he's down two in
- 4:26Speaker 1: the count, not a very friendly hitter situation, and on
- 4:30Speaker 1: the very next pitch launches a ball four thirty dead center.
- 4:36Speaker 1: It could not have been a more perfect way to
- 4:38Speaker 1: hit this. It was so cool and you.
- 4:40Speaker 2: Witness this first hand.
- 4:42Speaker 1: This is amazing to me and my buddy Tony and
- 4:45Speaker 1: I we go to a game every year, whether it's
- 4:47Speaker 1: a wild game at Timber whatever, and we've realized that
- 4:50Speaker 1: my wife is the good luck charm.
- 4:52Speaker 2: Oh, she's good.
- 4:52Speaker 1: You do. The first time she ever went to a
- 4:54Speaker 1: Wild game, she got to see someone get a hat trick.
- 4:57Speaker 1: She got to see six fights in the game Wild
- 5:00Speaker 1: one eight to three, which is a ton of goals.
- 5:02Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 5:03Speaker 1: She went to her first Vikings game and they completed
- 5:06Speaker 1: the greatest comeback in NFL history. Her and I were
- 5:09Speaker 1: at the game where the Vikes came back on the
- 5:11Speaker 1: Colts when they were down thirty four to zero and
- 5:13Speaker 1: came back in one. And now she goes to her
- 5:15Speaker 1: first Twins game in like five six years and she
- 5:18Speaker 1: gets to see the cycle.
- 5:19Speaker 3: Your wife is magical. She's the best good luck charm
- 5:24Speaker 3: for sports.
- 5:24Speaker 4: Wow.
- 5:25Speaker 1: So it was a very very cool, I mean kind
- 5:28Speaker 1: of major victory. That's kind of sort of something you
- 5:29Speaker 1: hang in the back pocket for basically the rest of
- 5:32Speaker 1: your life.
- 5:32Speaker 4: On the way, we'll have glass animals.
- 5:34Speaker 1: We also have got the tea coming up here on
- 5:36Speaker 1: Big ninety eight point seven.
- 5:42Speaker 3: Superman opened this weekend and it did really well at
- 5:47Speaker 3: the box office. Opened with one hundred twenty two twenty
- 5:52Speaker 3: two million dollars.
- 5:53Speaker 2: Thank you, Gabe.
- 5:55Speaker 3: I was one of the people who contributed to that
- 5:58Speaker 3: box office success, and I saw the movie, but is
- 6:01Speaker 3: it worth your time? The movie is two hours and
- 6:06Speaker 3: nine minutes long.
- 6:07Speaker 4: That's solid.
- 6:08Speaker 3: That's solid, but you have to be, you know, dedicated
- 6:11Speaker 3: to spending those two hours there. I do think it
- 6:14Speaker 3: was worth it. What I liked is that the movie's
- 6:16Speaker 3: well paced, so you're not like drumming your fingers on
- 6:19Speaker 3: the armrest dying for it to end, like when is
- 6:21Speaker 3: this over sure? I didn't even realize how much time.
- 6:25Speaker 2: Had passed, so that was good.
- 6:27Speaker 3: David corn Sweat and Rachel Brosnahan, they play Superman, Clark
- 6:31Speaker 3: Kent and Lois Lane, respectively. They have chemistry, which I like.
- 6:36Speaker 3: The last Superman movie, the one where Henry Cavill was
- 6:40Speaker 3: playing Superman, Lois Lane was played by Amy Adams, and
- 6:44Speaker 3: they did not have chemistry, so I didn't like it
- 6:47Speaker 3: because I like a romance where it seems like the
- 6:49Speaker 3: two like each other. They had really good chemistry, so
- 6:52Speaker 3: I like that. The dialogue is actually really good and
- 6:56Speaker 3: the there's humor. Some of it is a little bit corny,
- 6:59Speaker 3: but for the most part the humor is actually like,
- 7:02Speaker 3: oh okay, that is actually funny and not cheesy. Here's
- 7:06Speaker 3: where I think Superman does, like it shines, the super
- 7:13Speaker 3: Dog is in it. Crypto the super Dog in this movie,
- 7:17Speaker 3: I mean, steals the show.
- 7:20Speaker 4: Really, he cracks you up.
- 7:21Speaker 2: He pulls at your heart strings.
- 7:23Speaker 3: You don't even have to be like a dog person
- 7:25Speaker 3: to really feel for Crypto the Dog. And he's really
- 7:29Speaker 3: Superman's like best friend. And there's a lot of stuff
- 7:33Speaker 3: that centers around the super Dog and it's very worth it,
- 7:37Speaker 3: like love it. And it's one of those things where
- 7:39Speaker 3: I would take my kids to see this movie, even
- 7:41Speaker 3: though it's rated PG thirteen. My eight year old, I
- 7:45Speaker 3: would feel comfortable taking him to see this movie. And
- 7:48Speaker 3: I'm actually pretty conservative on what I let my kids watch,
- 7:52Speaker 3: and so I think it's family friendly. And then the
- 7:56Speaker 3: other thing is that, oh, that was a b The
- 8:01Speaker 3: other thing is that you have to suspend disbelief, though
- 8:04Speaker 3: more than in other superhero movies, and you really have
- 8:07Speaker 3: to suspend disbelief when you're watching a superhero movie.
- 8:10Speaker 6: Right.
- 8:10Speaker 3: The fact that I noticed, like, oh, I really have
- 8:14Speaker 3: to suspend disbelief to accept what's happening in this movie,
- 8:18Speaker 3: that was a little like y'all.
- 8:21Speaker 2: Really just were making up things. But okay, if you.
- 8:24Speaker 3: Could suspend disbelief enough it is like really fun. And
- 8:27Speaker 3: then Lex Luthor, He's played by Nicholas Halt, and he
- 8:30Speaker 3: kind of brings a humanity to Lex Luthor, where I
- 8:32Speaker 3: felt guilty that I was feeling bad for Lex Luthor
- 8:36Speaker 3: at one point and it's like, why are you feeling
- 8:38Speaker 3: bad for an evil supervillain billionaire girl? But all in all,
- 8:42Speaker 3: I really liked it. The other thing is the post
- 8:45Speaker 3: credit scenes. There's two not worth waiting for. Yeah, you
- 8:49Speaker 3: can leave when it's over, and it's fine, you're not
- 8:51Speaker 3: missing anything. So yeah, if I had to give it
- 8:54Speaker 3: like a thumbs up or a thumbs down, it's a
- 8:56Speaker 3: thumbs up.
- 8:57Speaker 2: All right.
- 8:58Speaker 1: The Superman movie has really great reviews as well, eighty
- 9:02Speaker 1: three percent on Rotten Tomatoes, ninety three percent on the
- 9:07Speaker 1: Popcorn Meter, which surprisingly pretty high, so Angie gives it
- 9:12Speaker 1: a worth your time.
- 9:13Speaker 4: Go check it out.
- 9:19Speaker 3: This is sorry not sorry. We say the thing you're thinking,
- 9:23Speaker 3: but are too polite to say. We die on the
- 9:26Speaker 3: hill of controversial opinions, so you don't have to, Gabe,
- 9:30Speaker 3: what's your sorry not sorry?
- 9:32Speaker 1: If you are the type of a parent who allows
- 9:35Speaker 1: your kid to run amok at a social setting, without doing,
- 9:39Speaker 1: saying or preventing the behavior. Everyone in the surrounding area
- 9:43Speaker 1: is annoyed and doesn't like you. At the Twins game
- 9:47Speaker 1: this past Saturday, which was a blast, all right, there
- 9:49Speaker 1: was a little league team in left field sitting and
- 9:52Speaker 1: that's awesome.
- 9:53Speaker 4: Kids going.
- 9:53Speaker 1: I think kids twelve and under should get into every
- 9:55Speaker 1: baseball game at every stadium for free. Right now, they're
- 10:00Speaker 1: enjoying the day, love it. But these little jerks, they
- 10:05Speaker 1: keep running up to the front row and like standing
- 10:09Speaker 1: in the stairs area right in between every freaking inning,
- 10:14Speaker 1: and you know, the first inning, the second inning, it's
- 10:16Speaker 1: kind of cute. They're trying to talk to the guy
- 10:18Speaker 1: and left play in left field, get a ball whatever.
- 10:20Speaker 4: Pretty cute, pretty adorable.
- 10:22Speaker 1: By the seventh inning when this poor target Field lady,
- 10:26Speaker 1: the employee at target Field, having to tell these kids
- 10:29Speaker 1: like you cannot stay in the stairs. Right at what
- 10:32Speaker 1: point does whoever's in charge of this little league trip
- 10:37Speaker 1: not tell these little jerks to just sit in their
- 10:40Speaker 1: dang seats.
- 10:41Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, i'd agree with you, you.
- 10:43Speaker 1: Know, and I get it. Kids are kids. I totally understand.
- 10:46Speaker 1: You know, it's pretty cute. The first inning or two,
- 10:50Speaker 1: right oh, they're trying to get a ball, like I
- 10:51Speaker 1: remember those days.
- 10:52Speaker 4: YadA, YadA, YadA. By the seventh inning, we now don't
- 10:55Speaker 4: like you.
- 10:57Speaker 1: Okay, this poor target field lady's down there one hundred times.
- 11:00Speaker 1: At what point does she need to start yelling or
- 11:03Speaker 1: kicking out kids out of a section at a baseball game.
- 11:06Speaker 4: It's just awkward for everyone.
- 11:08Speaker 1: It got to the point where other adults in that
- 11:11Speaker 1: area we're telling these kids like, get out of here,
- 11:14Speaker 1: which is just cringey for everyone.
- 11:16Speaker 4: Yeah, you know, once or twice is one thing.
- 11:19Speaker 1: But if by the sixth seventh warning these kids don't
- 11:23Speaker 1: really get it, what you need to do is get
- 11:25Speaker 1: a child leash. Okay, the same one, the same one
- 11:28Speaker 1: that I use to keep my dog under control when
- 11:31Speaker 1: we go for walks or are in public settings. All right,
- 11:34Speaker 1: I'm sorry, but I'm not sorry at all. Podchella underway today.
- 11:45Speaker 1: The event from four to eight at Up District Festival Field.
- 11:50Speaker 1: Podcella is free for all ages in tomorrow or tomorrow.
- 11:54Speaker 4: Sorry, yeah, one day, isn't it? Yeah? Sorry tomorrow Tuesday, Up.
- 11:58Speaker 2: District Festival Field. Patchella.
- 12:01Speaker 1: That's right, and it's in collaboration with Homeward animal shelter,
- 12:05Speaker 1: so a bigger mind or that.
- 12:07Speaker 4: I don't know what day I thought it was.
- 12:09Speaker 1: Angie, your family has been in talks of potentially getting
- 12:13Speaker 1: a pet or a dog.
- 12:14Speaker 4: I know your sons have expressed some interest in that.
- 12:18Speaker 3: I mean for years, I always maintained that if we
- 12:22Speaker 3: do get a pet, it will be a pig because
- 12:24Speaker 3: I had a pig growing up. But the kids are
- 12:27Speaker 3: not very invested in the pig. So they're like, please,
- 12:31Speaker 3: can we get a dog? And I think I'm finally
- 12:33Speaker 3: coming around to really yeah. I mean I feel like
- 12:37Speaker 3: they're the older one, especially he's about to be fifteen,
- 12:40Speaker 3: and I feel like he's at a responsible age where
- 12:44Speaker 3: I won't have to carry on.
- 12:46Speaker 2: The entiger burden of taking care of the dog, you
- 12:49Speaker 2: know what.
- 12:49Speaker 3: I mean, like because you don't want to get an
- 12:51Speaker 3: animal and then no one wants.
- 12:52Speaker 2: To take care of it, like that's very rude.
- 12:54Speaker 3: And so I think they're finally The eight year old,
- 12:57Speaker 3: I think is in a phase where he likes to
- 12:59Speaker 3: be a help. So if there's ever a time to
- 13:02Speaker 3: bring home a dog, it might be right now. And
- 13:06Speaker 3: so tomorrow I am going to go to Pacella. So
- 13:08Speaker 3: because you can see some of the adoptable.
- 13:11Speaker 4: Yeah, you might be able to see your future.
- 13:15Speaker 1: Arf at the house, Yes, tomorrow at Padchell exactly.
- 13:19Speaker 2: But yeah, that's that's the plan. I guess.
- 13:22Speaker 4: Well, you have a house of at least three people
- 13:25Speaker 4: right now? Did you? Do you know this about dogs?
- 13:27Speaker 1: That there's a potential and now I mean this with
- 13:31Speaker 1: love all of my heart, truly, there is the potential
- 13:36Speaker 1: that you will not be the favorite in your dog's eyes.
- 13:41Speaker 1: Why is possible your sweet little potential new dog might
- 13:47Speaker 1: latch on to Aiden or Liam and the rest of
- 13:50Speaker 1: the house is just sort of a spare human?
- 13:52Speaker 4: Do you know this about dogs?
- 13:53Speaker 3: No? I didn't, and if I did, then I would
- 13:56Speaker 3: just have another child if I was trying to be discarded.
- 14:00Speaker 3: I'm not the favorite of my kids. Dad is, and
- 14:04Speaker 3: I would hope that if we got a little fur baby,
- 14:07Speaker 3: the fur baby would like me the best.
- 14:08Speaker 4: At least you'd get one.
- 14:09Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 14:09Speaker 1: Yeah, seven oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven.
- 14:13Speaker 1: Are you the favorite or the spare human in your house?
- 14:17Speaker 2: What about you?
- 14:17Speaker 4: Because you have it's yeah, it's kind of tough.
- 14:21Speaker 1: Generally speaking, I probably am the favorite. I also get
- 14:25Speaker 1: to spend a lot more time with Wanona than my
- 14:27Speaker 1: wife does. And when it comes to like snuggle in
- 14:30Speaker 1: laying on the couch stuff, Corey wins ten times out
- 14:33Speaker 1: of ten. Okay, when it comes to everything else, I
- 14:36Speaker 1: probably am the favorite for that.
- 14:39Speaker 2: So the overall is that you're the favorite.
- 14:41Speaker 4: Probably.
- 14:42Speaker 2: How does your wife feel about that?
- 14:43Speaker 1: I think she's all right. She understands. I'm with her
- 14:46Speaker 1: just way more. I have more time in the afternoon
- 14:48Speaker 1: than Corey does. We do more things together. We go
- 14:52Speaker 1: on adventures together a lot. So I'm kind of like
- 14:55Speaker 1: the fun dad.
- 14:56Speaker 3: I don't want to be the spare I don't want
- 14:59Speaker 3: to be the print Harry Diane.
- 15:02Speaker 4: Are you your pet's favorite or are you the spare human?
- 15:05Speaker 7: Oh? I'm definitely my cat's favorite person. I've had him
- 15:08Speaker 7: for over fifteen years. He always struggles with me and
- 15:11Speaker 7: follows me around and just gives me so much loving.
- 15:13Speaker 7: He's nice to everyone else too, but sometimes he does
- 15:16Speaker 7: attack my sister. I can tell I am his favorite.
- 15:20Speaker 1: Yeah, it's you know, it is tough with cats because
- 15:22Speaker 1: they just blink and all of a sudden, something else
- 15:24Speaker 1: is their favorite.
- 15:24Speaker 4: You know what I mean? What about you, Brent.
- 15:27Speaker 6: I'm definitely my dog's favorite.
- 15:29Speaker 4: Person, and they'll let.
- 15:30Speaker 6: You know it too, Like when I'm petting him.
- 15:32Speaker 4: He growled at other people who try to get clothes.
- 15:34Speaker 6: But when other people are petting him, people can just
- 15:37Speaker 6: come and go as they please.
- 15:39Speaker 1: I think what I should do is one of these
- 15:41Speaker 1: days I'll have Corey. I'll ask her that question and
- 15:43Speaker 1: see what she says. Who is Wanona's favorite?
- 15:45Speaker 3: Well, by the way, both of the people who called
- 15:48Speaker 3: in you're the favorite. I want to hear from the
- 15:51Speaker 3: not favorites. How are you calling? Seven oh one two,
- 15:55Speaker 3: eight oh one, nine eighty seven?
- 15:56Speaker 2: I need to hear from the spare humans.
- 16:00Speaker 4: Today's variety, Big ninety eight point seven. Who's this?
- 16:03Speaker 6: This is Kelly?
- 16:04Speaker 4: Are you your pet's favorite or are you the spare human?
- 16:07Speaker 6: I am definitely the spare human.
- 16:11Speaker 2: Who's the favorite?
- 16:12Speaker 6: My husband? We have a lab and he is my
- 16:16Speaker 6: husband's shadow. My husband could say something to him and
- 16:20Speaker 6: he gets all excited and wakes his tail. I say
- 16:23Speaker 6: the same thing, and he just looks at me like,
- 16:25Speaker 6: are you gonna shut up now? Like he could really
- 16:30Speaker 6: care less if I'm in the room, that's fine with me.
- 16:33Speaker 4: Isn't that kind of heartbreaking? A little no?
- 16:36Speaker 6: Because we've got another dog, and she's she's kind of
- 16:39Speaker 6: everybody's favorite, you know, she loves everybody. But it's like whatever,
- 16:43Speaker 6: Let those two go hang on the garage together.
- 16:45Speaker 1: There you go, Angie, that's some good advice for you.
- 16:47Speaker 1: The great equalizer, threaten the dog who doesn't love you
- 16:51Speaker 1: the most with another dog.
- 16:53Speaker 2: That's the plan, is.
- 17:01Speaker 1: Honestly, Justin. It is way too late to say sorry
- 17:03Speaker 1: for that album. I have got a Justin Bieber album
- 17:06Speaker 1: review for you here and g went and Sauce Superman
- 17:09Speaker 1: and early in the show gave a little.
- 17:10Speaker 4: Review of it.
- 17:11Speaker 2: Yeah, I get it a thumbs up.
- 17:12Speaker 1: We made a big deal of Justin Bieber dropping a
- 17:15Speaker 1: surprise album last Friday, and let me tell you it stinks.
- 17:20Speaker 1: And I love Bebes when sorry, and I mean that
- 17:26Speaker 1: whatever that song is. When that album came out, it
- 17:29Speaker 1: was fire. It had love Yourself on it, just just.
- 17:32Speaker 4: Banger after banger after banger.
- 17:34Speaker 3: Okay, So I want to know what it is about
- 17:37Speaker 3: this album that makes you hate it so much.
- 17:39Speaker 1: This new album Swag. So it's twenty one songs and
- 17:44Speaker 1: it really could have been like five. Oh gosh, that
- 17:49Speaker 1: is the problem in my opinion. And I like Bieber
- 17:52Speaker 1: so I'm not on here just hating on beabes because
- 17:54Speaker 1: it's cool to hate the beabs. I wanted to love
- 17:57Speaker 1: this thing right so much, but my wife and I
- 18:00Speaker 1: were driving to Minneapolis go to a Twins game this weekend.
- 18:02Speaker 1: We throw in the Bber album were listening and this
- 18:04Speaker 1: thing stinks. It there is sixteen songs. I swear he's
- 18:08Speaker 1: just like kind of making noise. And I don't mean
- 18:11Speaker 1: he's like singing in the song stink. I mean it's
- 18:13Speaker 1: just kind of noise. Oh, and he has like a
- 18:16Speaker 1: couple songs in there where he sings the chorus for
- 18:21Speaker 1: like two minutes straight. It's the most weird Kanye West,
- 18:26Speaker 1: not Kanye West kind of thing I've ever heard. Some
- 18:29Speaker 1: of the best parts of the album if you have
- 18:31Speaker 1: heard it, are his skits with Drewski. They're actually very,
- 18:35Speaker 1: very funny. There's like three or four of them where
- 18:36Speaker 1: it's just Drewski and him kind of sitting down talking.
- 18:39Speaker 3: So are there enough songs on there? Let's say it
- 18:43Speaker 3: wasn't what is it twenty one songs?
- 18:44Speaker 1: He's in twenty one songs. There's really like five that
- 18:47Speaker 1: you could really enjoy as.
- 18:48Speaker 3: Okay, so he could make a ten song album with
- 18:52Speaker 3: like three or four that you don't love, yeah, and
- 18:55Speaker 3: then you would give this album a thumbs up.
- 18:58Speaker 4: Yeah, if yeah, I think that'd be fair.
- 19:01Speaker 1: For me to just like the first there's one song
- 19:04Speaker 1: in the first eight that you're like, okay, like cool,
- 19:07Speaker 1: I get it. It's the one we played the little
- 19:08Speaker 1: preview of on Friday. Okay, but it doesn't hit its
- 19:12Speaker 1: stride until song eight or nine. And I'm sorry, but
- 19:15Speaker 1: in twenty twenty five, that is too many songs before
- 19:18Speaker 1: you start doing stuff right.
- 19:20Speaker 4: And then you kind of get in the groove.
- 19:21Speaker 1: You're like, okay, so the first quarter might maybe he's
- 19:24Speaker 1: just warming up, right, he's a second quarter player, and
- 19:26Speaker 1: then after song twelve, it is just nothing.
- 19:31Speaker 4: Corey and I.
- 19:31Speaker 1: Looked at each other at about song fourteen fifteen, we're like,
- 19:34Speaker 1: what are we listening to?
- 19:36Speaker 2: Well, I give you points for sticking through it. I
- 19:40Speaker 2: listened to the whole thing.
- 19:42Speaker 1: I could not just get into it. And if you
- 19:45Speaker 1: like it and enjoy it, you should that is awesome.
- 19:48Speaker 1: Listen to it, love it. I wanted to like it,
- 19:51Speaker 1: and it was not doing it for me. I actually
- 19:53Speaker 1: don't know which song like we're gonna start playing on
- 19:55Speaker 1: Big ninety eight points on Well.
- 19:57Speaker 4: That's you know what I'm saying.
- 19:58Speaker 1: I have no clue what they're gonna send for us
- 20:02Speaker 1: to start playing.
- 20:03Speaker 3: I'm excited to see what it is, just to see
- 20:05Speaker 3: if it's more than the ones that you thought was
- 20:07Speaker 3: a banger or not.
- 20:15Speaker 1: For people with type one diabetes, developing hypoglycema or low
- 20:20Speaker 1: blood sugar is an ever present threat. When glucose levels
- 20:24Speaker 1: become extremely low, it creates a life threatening situation for
- 20:28Speaker 1: which the standard treatment of care is injecting a hormone
- 20:31Speaker 1: called oh gosh, glucagun.
- 20:34Speaker 4: I hope, I'm saying that right.
- 20:37Speaker 1: As an emergency backup for cases where patients may not
- 20:41Speaker 1: realize that their blood sugar is dropping to dangerous levels,
- 20:44Speaker 1: MIT engineers have designed an implantable reservoir that can remain
- 20:49Speaker 1: under the skin and be triggered to release this when
- 20:53Speaker 1: blood sugar levels get too low. The approach could help
- 20:58Speaker 1: cases where hypoglycema occurs during sleep, or for diabetic children
- 21:02Speaker 1: who are unable to administer injections in their own all right,
- 21:07Speaker 1: this is a small emergency event device that could be
- 21:10Speaker 1: placed under the skin, and when it's ready to act,
- 21:14Speaker 1: it could literally save hundreds thousands millions of lives at least,
- 21:19Speaker 1: according to Daniel Anderson, who is a professor at MIT's
- 21:23Speaker 1: Department of Chemical Engineering. How sweet is that for anyone
- 21:27Speaker 1: who has a family member who maybe suffers from diabetes.
- 21:30Speaker 1: My mother has type two diabetes, which is not type one,
- 21:34Speaker 1: which is kind of the not one's not more serious
- 21:36Speaker 1: than the other, but type one is the one where
- 21:38Speaker 1: you know, you just got to be a little more
- 21:40Speaker 1: mindful and keep tracking things a little more than type two.
- 21:43Speaker 1: So the fact that they have this kind of medical
- 21:46Speaker 1: miracle type of thing is pretty sweet.
- 21:47Speaker 3: I think this is the kind of science that I
- 21:50Speaker 3: love and I can get behind because it's doing something
- 21:53Speaker 3: good to solve a problem in the world. Right, I
- 21:55Speaker 3: don't need another AI chat bot.
- 21:58Speaker 1: Right, exactly right. The world is full of nice people.
- 22:01Speaker 1: If you can't find one, you gotta be one.
