Latest / Vanity Farah with Chris Farah / 90 Day The Single Life Season 5, Episode 12 “The Art of the Slow Fade”
Transcript
- 0:03Speaker 1: Hi, my loves, Welcome back to Vanity Farah. My name
- 0:06Speaker 1: is Chris Farah and that's why it's called Vanity Farah.
- 0:08Speaker 1: You understand how I did that? Oh my god, what
- 0:10Speaker 1: are we talking about? Are we talking about the new
- 0:12Speaker 1: Michael Jackson movie. No, I'm not Kimberly. We're talking about
- 0:16Speaker 1: nine a Day Fiance. We're technically ninety day Single Life.
- 0:20Speaker 1: This is season five, episode twelve, art of the Slow Fade.
- 0:25Speaker 1: So I'm assuming that the slow fade here would be
- 0:29Speaker 1: Sophie And I mean it's not really that slow. Maybe
- 0:34Speaker 1: it's someone else, because it's definitely not Colty and Courtney.
- 0:37Speaker 1: I mean, obviously kim Balie is just meeting Wayne. Maybe
- 0:41Speaker 1: it's supposed to be Gino and Natalie. I truly don't know,
- 0:45Speaker 1: but listen, they named it that, and that is what
- 0:48Speaker 1: they named it. Let's get in, so let's start with
- 0:53Speaker 1: kim Bally. So, kim Bali is in London now to
- 0:56Speaker 1: meet Wayne, and she has brought her you know, trustees
- 0:59Speaker 1: side kick, Jamal, who is only too happy to be
- 1:02Speaker 1: on any sort of nine a day program. God bless,
- 1:05Speaker 1: and I get it. I get it. It's really hard
- 1:07Speaker 1: to get on TV, even if you geld a you know,
- 1:09Speaker 1: BA in theater arts. Even if your whole life people
- 1:12Speaker 1: are like you should be on sitcoms. Even if you
- 1:15Speaker 1: start studying at theaters when you're fifteen and get a
- 1:19Speaker 1: BA and then go to comedy school, it's actually very
- 1:21Speaker 1: difficult to get people to trust you being on TV.
- 1:25Speaker 1: So I've heard listen, so Jamal and Kim buy are
- 1:33Speaker 1: dressed to take on London Town. They really look great.
- 1:36Speaker 1: There's a lot of coats, a lot of sweaters. I
- 1:38Speaker 1: mean Jamal, Jamal always is well dressed, truly, and he's
- 1:42Speaker 1: like in this camel brown camel and brown two toned number,
- 1:48Speaker 1: if you will. And I'm happy for him. I'm happy
- 1:51Speaker 1: that he knows how to dress. They're going to Derbyshire,
- 1:54Speaker 1: which if you've listened to me, you know that I
- 1:57Speaker 1: am wildly fixated on a show right now called Naked
- 2:00Speaker 1: Attraction that is no longer airing, but it has like
- 2:03Speaker 1: six seasons that was on British television, which is you know,
- 2:07Speaker 1: a dating show where like first things first, you to
- 2:10Speaker 1: see everyone's bits, you know, it's just a lot like
- 2:15Speaker 1: the first thing that happens. Our people are behind these
- 2:20Speaker 1: walls that come up and like someone is picking someone
- 2:23Speaker 1: and the first thing that they pick from is like
- 2:26Speaker 1: whether they like what's happening downstairs? And they have full
- 2:29Speaker 1: frontal nudity on the show. And so I like to
- 2:30Speaker 1: think that Kim Bully and Jamal turned on the TV
- 2:34Speaker 1: once they got to England and was like, what is this?
- 2:38Speaker 1: Like I did Wayne, you know, has met Kim Bully
- 2:44Speaker 1: and has you know, bared the brunt of her being like, well,
- 2:47Speaker 1: it's a medium flag that you're not taller than me,
- 2:50Speaker 1: which is, you know, sort of a mean thing to say,
- 2:52Speaker 1: but he takes it in stride, and now they're going
- 2:55Speaker 1: to go visit him, and Jamal's like, listen, if he
- 2:57Speaker 1: lives in a castle, I'll just be like, hey, dad,
- 3:00Speaker 1: she's doing all the touristy things. They go to Windsor Castle.
- 3:04Speaker 1: She says she loves the royal family. I'm like, like,
- 3:08Speaker 1: what do you mean when you say that? It's the
- 3:10Speaker 1: loving the royal family is an interesting thing to say,
- 3:13Speaker 1: like nowadays, like I understand that maybe if you're like
- 3:18Speaker 1: of a generation that Kim Bully is. Does she mean
- 3:20Speaker 1: like Princess Diana like that iteration, Does she mean Megan Markle?
- 3:25Speaker 1: Does she mean that, I mean, we know she doesn't
- 3:27Speaker 1: mean Prince Andrew. I think that, you know, Kimberlee only
- 3:31Speaker 1: probably has room in her heart for one alleged pedo,
- 3:34Speaker 1: and that's Michael Michael Jackson. You know that she loves him.
- 3:38Speaker 1: The movie came out this weekend. You know she went
- 3:41Speaker 1: to go see it. She loves him so much. I'm
- 3:44Speaker 1: not saying that he doesn't have great songs, but you
- 3:50Speaker 1: know what, I'm saying that one's a hard one, just
- 3:54Speaker 1: like the Royal family's kind of hard. There's not really
- 3:57Speaker 1: anyone I can hang my hat on in this generation.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Loving Prince William. There's I mean, maybe Prince Louis is
- 4:07Speaker 1: gonna be fun. I'm not quite sure, but I mean,
- 4:09Speaker 1: loving the Royal family in twenty twenty six is a
- 4:11Speaker 1: little confusing to me. I just think we're in an
- 4:16Speaker 1: age right now where I don't know if anyone's countries
- 4:19Speaker 1: truly love their leaders. But you can tell me if
- 4:21Speaker 1: I'm wrong. I'm an American saying this, so obviously it's
- 4:24Speaker 1: awkward for me. Maybe you're like, oh, no, you're dumb.
- 4:29Speaker 1: You're an American. In Canada, we're really digging in ours
- 4:34Speaker 1: even like that true do guy that was like the
- 4:36Speaker 1: Prime Minister is what dating Katy Perry now? And Katy
- 4:39Speaker 1: Perry's like, it seems like everyone that wants to run
- 4:44Speaker 1: a country, even if they're born into it, it's fucked up.
- 4:49Speaker 1: But maybe maybe that's just the human experience. There are
- 4:51Speaker 1: no great people anymore. There's people and they have good moments.
- 4:57Speaker 1: I guess I'm included, but here we are. So she
- 5:01Speaker 1: Ah said this, Kimberly knows how to dress. You know,
- 5:04Speaker 1: she has taken leaps and bounds from when we saw
- 5:08Speaker 1: her with Usman. So even in her confessional, she's wearing pink.
- 5:11Speaker 1: She looks cute, she has a tan, she has like
- 5:13Speaker 1: an ombree in her hair. Right now on social media,
- 5:17Speaker 1: I'm not quite sure if she's in the past twenty
- 5:20Speaker 1: four hours shown us yet, but she got full like
- 5:22Speaker 1: dental implants happening. So she's transforming, and you know, that's
- 5:28Speaker 1: all we can do. Wayne sends her flowers and when
- 5:33Speaker 1: she gets to check into a really adorable place, she
- 5:35Speaker 1: gets the flowers and they're beautiful flowers. We get two
- 5:40Speaker 1: sets of flowers on this episode, the one that Courtney
- 5:45Speaker 1: gives to Coltea, which are hot on they are so sad, right,
- 5:51Speaker 1: And she's like, I got them from a date and
- 5:53Speaker 1: then they're in my trunk and I'm like, oh okay,
- 5:56Speaker 1: but why give them to Colty? Just throw them away?
- 5:58Speaker 1: Then you know what are you doing? She it's weird
- 6:02Speaker 1: because she writes him a letter. Well, I'll go back
- 6:04Speaker 1: to Queenland. Get me and my adhd brain on one
- 6:07Speaker 1: fucking topic. So I'll get to Courtney and cold. Let
- 6:09Speaker 1: me go back. So the flowers that Wayne gives Kimberly
- 6:12Speaker 1: are just so beautiful, right, Like they're so well done.
- 6:16Speaker 1: Someone at like a mom and pop flower shop picked them,
- 6:21Speaker 1: pruned them, wrapped them in paper. They're stargazers, you know.
- 6:25Speaker 1: They smell so good. I love a lily, and it
- 6:30Speaker 1: makes it makes me really happy for her because I
- 6:32Speaker 1: think it's indicative of someone who cares about quality. I
- 6:36Speaker 1: would be so happy to get flowers like that. I
- 6:38Speaker 1: think that it would really make me feel cared for special,
- 6:41Speaker 1: if you will. So she ends up meeting up with
- 6:45Speaker 1: Wayne and are both wearing great sweaters. One's blue, one's green.
- 6:48Speaker 1: I'm like, oh my god, it's so lovely. It's just that,
- 6:51Speaker 1: you know what, it's interesting maybe because I live in California. Truly,
- 6:55Speaker 1: we just people in California. And I'm not saying I
- 6:59Speaker 1: haven't done this, just move about town and workout clothes
- 7:03Speaker 1: all day long. When you actually see someone in a coat,
- 7:08Speaker 1: it's so I mean, it's such a higher level, it's
- 7:12Speaker 1: such a upgrade of a look. It looks so debonair
- 7:17Speaker 1: or chic or classy. That makes me sad that it's
- 7:20Speaker 1: so hot, so hot in California old time. I can't
- 7:23Speaker 1: wear that many coats. He drives a big white van.
- 7:29Speaker 1: I'm like, why are you driving that van? It's a
- 7:32Speaker 1: sus van. I mean, like, that's the kind of van
- 7:34Speaker 1: that if it was by a park with kids, I'd
- 7:37Speaker 1: be like reporting it. You know, is this a warehouse
- 7:42Speaker 1: job that he can get this car from a friend,
- 7:44Speaker 1: or again, you can be like you're a dumb American.
- 7:46Speaker 1: We in England we love white, boxy vans. That's how
- 7:49Speaker 1: we get along. I'm like, okay, sorry, I've gotten a
- 7:53Speaker 1: lot of comments being like you're ignorant. I guess and
- 7:57Speaker 1: now you're just hearing it come out. So he has
- 8:00Speaker 1: to have her guess where they're going to go on
- 8:02Speaker 1: their date, and he's like, here is a clue. It
- 8:05Speaker 1: has wheels. She's like, is it a boat, which you
- 8:11Speaker 1: and I know. No, it's not a boat, girl. No.
- 8:16Speaker 1: I mean it's only funny because she just had her date.
- 8:19Speaker 1: Remember that date she had where it was like a
- 8:20Speaker 1: two wheel bike, Like, isn't that on the forefront of
- 8:23Speaker 1: your mind? I'd be like, oh my god, is it
- 8:24Speaker 1: a goddamn two wheel bike again? Two person bike? I can't.
- 8:29Speaker 1: I don't want wheels. I want seats. I want comfortable,
- 8:34Speaker 1: I want to I want restaurants. I mean, you know,
- 8:36Speaker 1: I want menus, I want candlelight. I want booths. A booth, honey,
- 8:46Speaker 1: a leather booth, please that and those fancy flowers. Okay.
- 8:52Speaker 1: So he's like, no, it has steam coming out of it.
- 8:56Speaker 1: She's like me right now trying to guess, you know,
- 8:58Speaker 1: God bless, but it's you know, it's a train and
- 9:01Speaker 1: it's super cute to steam train. Another thing that I
- 9:03Speaker 1: really want to do in my life is go on
- 9:05Speaker 1: that like orient Express. You know, I'm talking about the
- 9:10Speaker 1: Oriental Train. I'm not trying to use that in like
- 9:14Speaker 1: the bad sense of the word. That's the name of it. Oh,
- 9:16Speaker 1: the orient Express, right, don't I think I say this?
- 9:17Speaker 1: That's what it is. Oh my god, they go to
- 9:20Speaker 1: like from Paris to Venice or something. How lovely. I
- 9:24Speaker 1: think it's only like one million dollars per ticket. So uh,
- 9:27Speaker 1: you know, some day someday when I'm awfully not alone
- 9:35Speaker 1: because someone's paying for it. So they get on this train, honey,
- 9:39Speaker 1: and it's English English time, it's four o'clock. Specifically because
- 9:44Speaker 1: it's tea, they get to have them scones. Here's the
- 9:47Speaker 1: thing I'm just gonna say. I love the concept of
- 9:52Speaker 1: a tu So I booked to you for myself, and
- 9:55Speaker 1: almost every time I sit down at a tee for
- 9:57Speaker 1: like the like the thirty minutes after I've sat down,
- 10:00Speaker 1: I'm like, oh no, I forget. I wish that there
- 10:04Speaker 1: were more salty, umami, yummy hot things involved in teas,
- 10:10Speaker 1: but they're just so much hard or soft, ready bread,
- 10:15Speaker 1: sweet breads, different kinds of levels of sweet breads, different
- 10:19Speaker 1: flavors of sweetbreads. I like a scone, warm scone, a
- 10:23Speaker 1: little butter or clotted cream, or like a little jam.
- 10:27Speaker 1: Surely like that would be enough. But the entire you know,
- 10:31Speaker 1: trifecta serving platters where there's just so many things, it's
- 10:36Speaker 1: a little overwhelming. It's just so much sweets. I don't know.
- 10:38Speaker 1: So I'm always like, please even the sandwiches. You're like,
- 10:42Speaker 1: this is too cold. Can I have like a chicken palms,
- 10:48Speaker 1: you know, sandwich with like some melted mozzarella. I don't know.
- 10:52Speaker 1: But tea is so lovely, especially if you can tolerate
- 10:57Speaker 1: like a little cream in it. Oh, like a creamy tea,
- 11:01Speaker 1: like a tea latte at four o'clock. How lovely anyway,
- 11:06Speaker 1: So I will to say this, So I will say
- 11:08Speaker 1: a lot of things. I have a whole podcast tikihi.
- 11:10Speaker 1: But when they're on this train, I can't help but
- 11:12Speaker 1: look at this, like lady in the back of them,
- 11:15Speaker 1: who's wearing what looks like a full, very thick fur coat.
- 11:19Speaker 1: She looks adorable. She looks like someone Sanana honey. And
- 11:25Speaker 1: you would just kind of go up to her and
- 11:27Speaker 1: cuddle with her, and she would tell you, you know,
- 11:30Speaker 1: sweet things in your ear and a very thick English accent.
- 11:34Speaker 1: I'm sure it'd be RP Queen's Queen's British honey, not
- 11:38Speaker 1: an r to be had. And I also sort of
- 11:42Speaker 1: would love to know what these people thought of a
- 11:44Speaker 1: full camera crew and Kimberly's accent. I wish that they
- 11:49Speaker 1: would just sometimes get looky loose or not even look
- 11:52Speaker 1: at lose the background people to be like, what's your
- 11:55Speaker 1: take on this? More than pillow talks. So that's my idea.
- 11:59Speaker 1: So we know, we feel good about Wayne and kim Bullly,
- 12:04Speaker 1: you know, we feel like they're into each other. They're
- 12:07Speaker 1: like not afraid to be like, you're good looking. Kim
- 12:10Speaker 1: Buly's like are you dating? Why? No? Sorry, She's like
- 12:14Speaker 1: are you dating anyone else? It's like no, and she's
- 12:15Speaker 1: like how are you single? It's always interesting when someone
- 12:18Speaker 1: asks how are you single? Who's also single? Like it
- 12:23Speaker 1: happens a lot, right like on dating shows or even
- 12:26Speaker 1: in real life, or like two single people you know
- 12:29Speaker 1: usually like getting to know each other on a date.
- 12:31Speaker 1: We'll look at the other one and be like, how
- 12:33Speaker 1: are you single? Well, babe, how are you single? And
- 12:37Speaker 1: what do you expect me to say? I'm a nightmare.
- 12:41Speaker 1: I have horrible high expectations. I'm about to write you
- 12:43Speaker 1: off right now. I am crazy. Right now you are
- 12:47Speaker 1: seeing a fake version of me, and I can't wait
- 12:49Speaker 1: till you make me feel any sort of insecure and
- 12:51Speaker 1: stable And then you all really see the real met like, well,
- 12:55Speaker 1: I have an addiction issue. You haven't met that person yet,
- 12:58Speaker 1: I mean, you know I have. There's so many things
- 12:59Speaker 1: where I'm like, what is the actual, honestly answer you
- 13:02Speaker 1: want to hear? Well, it's really hard to meet someone
- 13:06Speaker 1: of quality. I don't know why I am single. I
- 13:10Speaker 1: would love someone to tell me, because every time I
- 13:15Speaker 1: think that I've found out why I'm single, I've like
- 13:18Speaker 1: tried to remedy that, and yet I'm still single. So
- 13:23Speaker 1: but I think that the thing is a lot of
- 13:26Speaker 1: people are single, a various looks, of various statuses in
- 13:33Speaker 1: life or whatever. I just I think that we're in
- 13:36Speaker 1: the age of single in instead of like the age
- 13:38Speaker 1: of Aquarius. It's but if you're listening to this and
- 13:42Speaker 1: you're bowed up, God bless you, you know. I think
- 13:45Speaker 1: that there's something to be in a relationship. I think
- 13:48Speaker 1: that two people grow from it, and I definitely understand
- 13:51Speaker 1: that not everything's perfect and you have to work through things.
- 13:54Speaker 1: So I think that either way, there's a little bit
- 13:57Speaker 1: of a struggle and maybe a little bit of a
- 13:59Speaker 1: wondering if this is it. But for Kimberly, she's in
- 14:03Speaker 1: the middle of dating, and I'm happy for her. Let's
- 14:05Speaker 1: move on to someone who I really wish would stop
- 14:07Speaker 1: dating a certain person, and that's Courtney. Courtney and Colty
- 14:10Speaker 1: so as I said, she's the other person that hang
- 14:13Speaker 1: the flowers of the episode and hers are real shitty.
- 14:16Speaker 1: And she also writes coltine and like a sign where
- 14:19Speaker 1: it's like he's gonna know it's you. You don't have
- 14:22Speaker 1: to bring out signus. It's I mean, it's awkward to hold.
- 14:27Speaker 1: When he shows up, he's blonde. I'm like, who did
- 14:29Speaker 1: that to Diana? Dye your hair for you? And it's
- 14:32Speaker 1: like this gingery kind of blonde. It's like, you know, strawberry,
- 14:36Speaker 1: I guess is the word. So in his footage, he
- 14:40Speaker 1: has recorded himself with Diana while in Brazil and he
- 14:44Speaker 1: had said I love you to her. I'm interested, Yeah,
- 14:49Speaker 1: I was most interested that Diana allowed herself to be
- 14:52Speaker 1: like in this footage. Did ninety Day producers think to
- 14:56Speaker 1: go to Brazil and like tape them at all with
- 14:59Speaker 1: the actual camera or are they just so happy to
- 15:01Speaker 1: have COULTI do like some of the production work on
- 15:04Speaker 1: their behalf and like save the money. It's just interesting,
- 15:09Speaker 1: So you know, Courtney shouldn't pick him up, and her
- 15:13Speaker 1: parents are obviously so upset, and she you know, is
- 15:17Speaker 1: mad at him, but also like still in love with him.
- 15:19Speaker 1: She really is, like they trauma bonded. It's interesting because yeah,
- 15:25Speaker 1: I saw them after Hunt for Love and they seem
- 15:28Speaker 1: to hate each other very much or they didn't talk
- 15:30Speaker 1: to each other at all. And I like Courtney, Like
- 15:34Speaker 1: I think Courtney is probably to me the person on
- 15:40Speaker 1: the entire in entire franchise that I wouldn't be on
- 15:47Speaker 1: pins and Needles if I had to hang out with her,
- 15:49Speaker 1: you know, Like I think that she, you know, for
- 15:52Speaker 1: I don't know her very well, but for intents and purposes,
- 15:54Speaker 1: like is a good person and just like sort of
- 15:56Speaker 1: lives her life and just happens to be on the show,
- 15:59Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. Like, surely I'm sure she
- 16:01Speaker 1: would want more money or fame, and you know, she
- 16:03Speaker 1: does things on her Instagram, like promoting things. But I
- 16:06Speaker 1: don't think that she's like nefarious in any way, or
- 16:09Speaker 1: I think that she's really happy to just like be
- 16:11Speaker 1: doing her thing. I want the best for her, but
- 16:13Speaker 1: I will say this, So she had written something on Instagram.
- 16:22Speaker 1: Oh yeah, it was like, I know, I'll read it
- 16:24Speaker 1: to you. This was on I'm sorry, this was on
- 16:28Speaker 1: her story, and then I'll read it to you and
- 16:31Speaker 1: then i'll tell you what I wrote back. So she
- 16:32Speaker 1: had posted this, and it's a question asked Pce. She
- 16:35Speaker 1: can be like, ask me a question. Someone said, why
- 16:37Speaker 1: do you keep going back to Colt? And this is
- 16:39Speaker 1: what she says. We trauma bonded. It was complicated. I
- 16:44Speaker 1: always overanalyze and try to make the right decision. Even now,
- 16:46Speaker 1: I replay this scenario what ifs, and question if I
- 16:48Speaker 1: made the right choice. Which is interesting because that's almost
- 16:51Speaker 1: exactly what Aviva said of Stig. Remember that, and I
- 16:54Speaker 1: think there's a very big, like female thing about this,
- 16:57Speaker 1: where like you replay relationships and then start to blame yourself.
- 17:01Speaker 1: Isn't that so shitny I do that too. This is
- 17:05Speaker 1: what she goes on to say. Though my thought process
- 17:07Speaker 1: at the time, Colon he lied, slash cheated, fuck him,
- 17:10Speaker 1: but he broke his leg comforting me when I was
- 17:12Speaker 1: going through a hard time, So I felt guilt slash responsibility.
- 17:15Speaker 1: He's basically in this position because of me, which is
- 17:18Speaker 1: not true. He went on hunt for love of his
- 17:22Speaker 1: own accord. He went to your room of his own accord.
- 17:24Speaker 1: He has, you know, issues with balance of his own accord.
- 17:27Speaker 1: He didn't fall because of you unless you pushed him,
- 17:29Speaker 1: which you know. Okay, moving on, this is this is
- 17:37Speaker 1: her talking. Now do I just abandon him? What if
- 17:40Speaker 1: he's permanently disabled? Will that be on my conscious the
- 17:43Speaker 1: rest of my life? My therapist recommended colon, it's human
- 17:46Speaker 1: nature to want to help others, so help, but have boundaries.
- 17:48Speaker 1: My parents never allowed me to quit jobs, sports slash
- 17:52Speaker 1: school when it got hard, try harder, keep going, don't
- 17:55Speaker 1: give up. So that translated into relationships. She said something
- 17:58Speaker 1: off off in the moment. Sorry, she said, cut something
- 18:01Speaker 1: off in the moment if it no longer serves you.
- 18:03Speaker 1: Jobs slash relationship. So I'm working on that. So you know.
- 18:07Speaker 1: That was a very long, truthful answer to me. And
- 18:11Speaker 1: so I had written back to her like through just
- 18:13Speaker 1: whatever DM and I said this, it's so hard, but
- 18:17Speaker 1: people are their own responsibilities. You didn't owe him anything
- 18:20Speaker 1: because he broke his leg. He comforted you the minute before,
- 18:23Speaker 1: and everything else was his own doing. It's hard. Being
- 18:25Speaker 1: empathetic and sensitive visualized disconnection like taking off a jacket
- 18:29Speaker 1: you no longer need. This is what she said. She
- 18:32Speaker 1: hearted that then said people aren't going to like what
- 18:35Speaker 1: happens next, and I said, Courtney screamed and then I
- 18:41Speaker 1: said no, and then she gave me a like a
- 18:46Speaker 1: emoji upside down smiley face. Okay, so that's my intel
- 18:51Speaker 1: for you, and I think it's pretty good. So he
- 18:53Speaker 1: shows up, honey, as I said, he dyed his hair
- 18:56Speaker 1: you know who knows or Diana. He also has this
- 18:58Speaker 1: like puka shell necklace that like, you know, maybe is
- 19:00Speaker 1: like Brazilian. It's also looks like a snake, which is
- 19:03Speaker 1: what he is, like wrapped around his neck. And I'm like, also, like,
- 19:06Speaker 1: is that could that be a steak? And you know,
- 19:08Speaker 1: is that venomous? He says that he fucked Diana and
- 19:12Speaker 1: she's like, great, so your dick worked there and we're like,
- 19:14Speaker 1: oh god. And then he's like, but I still love
- 19:16Speaker 1: you and she's like no, and then he begs her
- 19:18Speaker 1: to go to like a steak dinner to dinner and
- 19:22Speaker 1: she says, okay because she wants free steak. Girl, we've
- 19:26Speaker 1: seen your parents in that house. You can afford steak.
- 19:29Speaker 1: I know that your mom's making cabbage rolls. But like,
- 19:32Speaker 1: at least go on hinge and find someone to take
- 19:34Speaker 1: you out for steak. Also, he can't afford a house.
- 19:39Speaker 1: How the hell's like, what kind of capital grill slash
- 19:44Speaker 1: Morton's slash flemings are you gonna go to? We're like,
- 19:48Speaker 1: and how you know wagou are you gonna go up
- 19:50Speaker 1: for this? And anyway, So I'm like upset, but it happens.
- 19:56Speaker 1: He also at the dinner is like, you know, I,
- 19:58Speaker 1: yeah I fucked Diana and yeah I said I to her,
- 20:00Speaker 1: and yeah I have still had feelings for you, which
- 20:03Speaker 1: is like, ugh, how many men in here are like
- 20:06Speaker 1: one leg in one pool and one leg and the
- 20:08Speaker 1: other just waiting for one of the pools, you know,
- 20:11Speaker 1: to be warm enough for him to like dive in.
- 20:15Speaker 1: And then that's a weird metaphor, but it also is
- 20:17Speaker 1: like kind of like rick right, and kind of trash. Anyway,
- 20:19Speaker 1: so he's like, well, I came back to see you,
- 20:21Speaker 1: and she's like, bitch, you came back to get a
- 20:24Speaker 1: fucking surgery. It's like yeah, the doctor too. I don't
- 20:28Speaker 1: know why he didn't go to Vegas, where his whole
- 20:30Speaker 1: life was, for his surgery. This outfit he has at dinner.
- 20:38Speaker 1: And it's not just that necklace. It's the top. It's
- 20:41Speaker 1: like one of those tops that has like three like
- 20:45Speaker 1: buttons that are like bulbous. It looks like he is
- 20:50Speaker 1: trying to sell you like a reki a reiki session.
- 20:54Speaker 1: He looks like he's trying to be like an energy
- 20:55Speaker 1: healer in that shirt. It's yes, it's it's uh. It
- 21:03Speaker 1: reads mental issues, like you don't know who you are.
- 21:07Speaker 1: It reads like he's in the middle of a midlife crisis,
- 21:09Speaker 1: which I b part. I get. I'm empathetic to that.
- 21:11Speaker 1: I think you know, truly I am too. So let's
- 21:15Speaker 1: move on, Sophie. So Sophie's like, well, you know, as
- 21:19Speaker 1: I said, when I landed, this guy Brian had popped
- 21:23Speaker 1: up on my social media and I was like, what
- 21:26Speaker 1: does that even mean? What do you mean someone popped
- 21:30Speaker 1: up on your social media when you landed? That's like,
- 21:32Speaker 1: is that Riyah? Are you saying social media for dating app?
- 21:38Speaker 1: And like he popped up because you searched for people
- 21:41Speaker 1: in the area, right, Like I don't know the way
- 21:45Speaker 1: she said, It's so funny. So she meets Brian twenty
- 21:48Speaker 1: four and he says he has a gym and she's like,
- 21:53Speaker 1: oh cool, let me see your tricks. Like tricks? Is
- 21:57Speaker 1: he gonna like juggle juggle barbells right now? But it's
- 22:01Speaker 1: just that she wants him to take off his shirt
- 22:03Speaker 1: and then like show him who's show her his mussols?
- 22:09Speaker 1: And that's gonna be interesting because it feels like, yeah,
- 22:13Speaker 1: it feels like you are just sort of like fetishizing
- 22:15Speaker 1: him for his body without ever asking him like a
- 22:17Speaker 1: meaningful question. Could you imagine like if the roles were reversed,
- 22:23Speaker 1: where like someone a guy was like you work out,
- 22:27Speaker 1: let me see your abs and thighs, and then you
- 22:30Speaker 1: like showed someone for some reason you're like six pack
- 22:35Speaker 1: immediately and they never asked you a question? Is like
- 22:38Speaker 1: is she so used to being like whatever? Uh? What's
- 22:45Speaker 1: the word when you just like only think about someone's body.
- 22:49Speaker 1: I just think this is like a boring date, is
- 22:51Speaker 1: what I should say. They literally don't talk, and she
- 22:53Speaker 1: speaks good Spanish. She could that's which is also so sad.
- 22:58Speaker 1: So then they ordered dring and then he's like, do
- 23:01Speaker 1: you want another drink? They both have half full drinks.
- 23:04Speaker 1: She says yes, He says he's nervous, and then you know,
- 23:08Speaker 1: he comes back with water for himself. I clock that
- 23:11Speaker 1: and like another tequila pineapple, which is yummy for her,
- 23:15Speaker 1: and then they kiss and you know that said it
- 23:21Speaker 1: felt like a little fast because I'm like, do you
- 23:23Speaker 1: do you know anything else about this person? That's so
- 23:26Speaker 1: weird anyway, She's like, well, there's really no connection but physical,
- 23:31Speaker 1: and I'm like, well, yeah, you didn't. I mean, did
- 23:35Speaker 1: you even try to ask him anything? Like? I think
- 23:39Speaker 1: this date would have been more interesting if she tried
- 23:41Speaker 1: or he tried to talk, but nah, I guess nother
- 23:43Speaker 1: of them felt the need to really connect as humans.
- 23:53Speaker 1: The kind of like date they have is like a
- 23:57Speaker 1: in real life version of swiping on a social media
- 24:02Speaker 1: site where you would be like, you'd see someone clothed
- 24:05Speaker 1: and he'd be like, ugh, let's move all these pictures
- 24:07Speaker 1: to see if you have like a topless shot. She
- 24:12Speaker 1: doesn't like the shirt he's wearing, and I thought the
- 24:14Speaker 1: shirt that he was wearing was great. I also would
- 24:17Speaker 1: be impressed if someone owned a gym at that age.
- 24:19Speaker 1: Like no other follow up questions does he play sports?
- 24:23Speaker 1: I mean again, I don't think that he asked her
- 24:25Speaker 1: any questions. But I also don't know if it was
- 24:28Speaker 1: edited out. It's an interesting edit. So let's move on
- 24:33Speaker 1: to g Now, Gina's playing basketball, honey. You know he
- 24:37Speaker 1: is playing that be ball in the snow. It's cold outside.
- 24:40Speaker 1: He's trying to keep warm on the inside. He's like,
- 24:43Speaker 1: I love shooting hoops, gets my mind off things. And
- 24:46Speaker 1: then he faced time Natalie. Natalie is in a blazer
- 24:49Speaker 1: and a like black turtleneck top. Honey. She looks like
- 24:52Speaker 1: she's back in business. I don't know if she's in
- 24:54Speaker 1: washing TOBC. But you can't wear that often in Vegas.
- 24:57Speaker 1: And it's been a month since she brought him to
- 25:00Speaker 1: La and he has to be the one that's kind
- 25:03Speaker 1: of like, well, last time we talked, you said that
- 25:06Speaker 1: you were going to have to see how your daughter
- 25:10Speaker 1: feels about this. She's like, well, she still hates you.
- 25:13Speaker 1: So at this point we think Natalie is going to
- 25:15Speaker 1: be like and therefore, Gino, I can't possibly continue because
- 25:19Speaker 1: not just my daughter, but truly my brother and not
- 25:23Speaker 1: you know, everyone everyone in America that watched this would
- 25:25Speaker 1: be like, how are you letting yourself be so disrespected
- 25:30Speaker 1: on national television by a being with Gino alone. If
- 25:34Speaker 1: Gino's ex Jasmine didn't attack you, and he just stood
- 25:38Speaker 1: by and then all of his own his own family
- 25:42Speaker 1: isn't on his side, Like all of that is a
- 25:44Speaker 1: lot to take. So we really are like maybe this
- 25:47Speaker 1: is the moment where Natalie would be like, I can't
- 25:50Speaker 1: be with you. But what ends up happening is that
- 25:54Speaker 1: he breaks up with her, which I find humiliating for her.
- 26:02Speaker 1: He's like, yeah, Natalie, I thought about it, and I
- 26:07Speaker 1: think that you know, when it comes to us, I
- 26:09Speaker 1: really think that we're just really good friends, and I
- 26:12Speaker 1: really want to have you in my life as just friends.
- 26:17Speaker 1: You live in different states, would you you just want
- 26:20Speaker 1: a friend to take you to the strip club? What
- 26:23Speaker 1: teach you how to like throw money like that, to
- 26:26Speaker 1: how to make it rain? Why I said this last episode,
- 26:35Speaker 1: I think that she must have a humiliation kink. I
- 26:37Speaker 1: really do. I can't imagine a world in which like
- 26:40Speaker 1: this person moves through this world. And I mean the
- 26:42Speaker 1: other whole thing is that she could be, of course,
- 26:44Speaker 1: a paid actress, which, like I said, it's hard to
- 26:46Speaker 1: be on TV. Jamal's like, sign me up. You know,
- 26:48Speaker 1: I'm saying I've tried to be a paid actress so
- 26:50Speaker 1: many times. Not in reality, shows, except that I didn't,
- 26:53Speaker 1: you know, apply for Traders and they this season and
- 26:56Speaker 1: they did not call me back. But I mean maybe
- 26:59Speaker 1: that's her thing, Like, yeah, Chris, I have a fucking
- 27:02Speaker 1: MFA from Yale. This is Natalie talking. And I've been
- 27:06Speaker 1: trying to hit the boards. I've been in many off
- 27:09Speaker 1: Broadway shows. I've had many pilot seasons where I got
- 27:13Speaker 1: really close to network they said, and I got nothing,
- 27:16Speaker 1: and this is the most work I've gotten. I'd be like, okay, Natalie, fine, Okay,
- 27:23Speaker 1: I get you, I feel you, Natalie, Okay. Still, I
- 27:26Speaker 1: would just change my name on the show and I
- 27:29Speaker 1: would be like, you're never gonna film with my family,
- 27:31Speaker 1: or I'd be like cast my family too. Okay. So Natalie,
- 27:38Speaker 1: after this is like, you know what, I deserve more,
- 27:40Speaker 1: and it's like you deserve more therapy, you deserve to
- 27:47Speaker 1: understand why you would put yourself in this position after
- 27:49Speaker 1: being I mean, I don't know, that was a hard watch.
- 27:55Speaker 1: I would just would rather see Gino with equally yoked
- 28:03Speaker 1: women of his caliber, like kind of weird awkward as
- 28:10Speaker 1: women like I would rather honestly see him on a
- 28:13Speaker 1: date with like someone that matches him more, because I
- 28:17Speaker 1: could believe it. This is too hard anyway, Let's move
- 28:23Speaker 1: on to Vanya. So Vanya has been traveling honey in
- 28:25Speaker 1: a Beiza, and she's been having the time of her
- 28:27Speaker 1: life with her cousin, except that Tony is like not
- 28:30Speaker 1: dealing with it. Well, he's just like his whole thing
- 28:34Speaker 1: is that he wants more communication. But communication, I think
- 28:37Speaker 1: to him is like you need to call me three
- 28:40Speaker 1: times a day, and each conversation has to has to
- 28:44Speaker 1: like last for twenty to thirty minutes till I'm satisfied.
- 28:49Speaker 1: And every time I text, you have to write back
- 28:52Speaker 1: within two minutes. Like That's Tony's version of communication, I think,
- 28:59Speaker 1: and Vanya has it like I'm on vacation, so I
- 29:02Speaker 1: will text you back when I can. There's also like,
- 29:04Speaker 1: you know, time differences, and I want to call you
- 29:07Speaker 1: like once every two days maybe, and I want that
- 29:10Speaker 1: phone call to be like as long as I can
- 29:12Speaker 1: bear it until my cousin's like, let's go. I know
- 29:17Speaker 1: it's hard to be in relationships, so you do have
- 29:18Speaker 1: to make time. Maybe I think that there is a
- 29:20Speaker 1: happy middle ground, like you should want to check in
- 29:23Speaker 1: by you know, voice, like twenty four to forty hours,
- 29:28Speaker 1: especially if you're abroad, because there's a time difference, and
- 29:31Speaker 1: also you want to let someone know that you're thinking
- 29:36Speaker 1: of them, And so it's almost like for Vanya, I
- 29:40Speaker 1: wonder if she ever texts him things that she sees
- 29:44Speaker 1: throughout her day that reminds her of Tony, you know, like, Oh,
- 29:48Speaker 1: I'm in a Biza. We're in the grocery store. Look
- 29:50Speaker 1: at the fodor what they have here? Do you want
- 29:52Speaker 1: me to bring you some home? This might be you know,
- 29:55Speaker 1: might be strong. You know, Viza's really hot. People dance
- 29:58Speaker 1: for like seventy two hours at a time. They sweat
- 30:00Speaker 1: a lot, so like we might want to try this,
- 30:04Speaker 1: you know this one. She also says that, and this
- 30:10Speaker 1: is maddening. She's like, last night was so much fun.
- 30:13Speaker 1: We were like traveling and we're like dancing, except that
- 30:16Speaker 1: we had a really bad night because he kept texting.
- 30:18Speaker 1: And I want to be like, where's the cameras? Then
- 30:21Speaker 1: show us that footage. I would love to see footage
- 30:23Speaker 1: of like her at the Foam party. That's what they
- 30:30Speaker 1: do there right Still, I don't know, it's a I
- 30:33Speaker 1: think about this a lot. There was like a time
- 30:36Speaker 1: in like the early two thousands where foam parties were
- 30:41Speaker 1: everything every everything. It's like, yes, it was like the
- 30:46Speaker 1: same time as like wild On was on E and
- 30:48Speaker 1: like Tara Reid was like on that show, and like yes,
- 30:51Speaker 1: that's like when we all and this when I heard
- 30:52Speaker 1: about Aviza and there was like you know, the parties
- 30:54Speaker 1: and stuff like that. But one of the things was
- 30:56Speaker 1: like foam parties right where like there'd be a dance
- 30:59Speaker 1: floor and then suddenly they would just pipe in a
- 31:01Speaker 1: bunch of foam and it was such a big thing
- 31:05Speaker 1: that I, you know, they had him everywhere, like even
- 31:07Speaker 1: in La I went to one, you know. I remember
- 31:09Speaker 1: I went to a phone party and I went with
- 31:12Speaker 1: a friend of mine who was like much shorter than me,
- 31:16Speaker 1: not to be like Kim Bully, but you know medium
- 31:18Speaker 1: flag and I remember just dancing with this person because
- 31:22Speaker 1: just watching hot On like the phone get higher than
- 31:27Speaker 1: she could stay that she was the height of her
- 31:30Speaker 1: and I then we had to move to like a
- 31:31Speaker 1: more because it was a lot of foam. It's like,
- 31:35Speaker 1: wouldn't we love to see Vanya like having fun somewhere
- 31:41Speaker 1: dancing like in a visa with her cousin. I would
- 31:44Speaker 1: love to see that footage I'd love to see like
- 31:46Speaker 1: men hitting on her. I'd love to see her looking
- 31:48Speaker 1: at her phone and stuff like that. Single Life must
- 31:52Speaker 1: be made for a budget of like four dollars. Okay,
- 31:58Speaker 1: So yeah, they have a conversation where they really can't communicate,
- 32:02Speaker 1: like they really don't see eye to eye on how
- 32:04Speaker 1: to effectively do things. She's really annoyed by him. At
- 32:10Speaker 1: the same time, he is like very frustrated by her
- 32:13Speaker 1: and feels really disrespected, which you know, does tickle me.
- 32:19Speaker 1: It does that particles me. I'm happy for her because
- 32:24Speaker 1: I find him to be weird and I you know, yeah,
- 32:29Speaker 1: it's almost like, I don't know, he seems like a yeah,
- 32:34Speaker 1: he seems like someone who's you know, really deals with
- 32:36Speaker 1: insecure attachment. He really needs to be with someone who
- 32:40Speaker 1: like wants to worship him and like you know, you know,
- 32:47Speaker 1: reply real fast and like isn't so independent. I really
- 32:51Speaker 1: hope that if there's a tell all, we get to
- 32:53Speaker 1: talk to his ex wife, the one that he had
- 32:54Speaker 1: for eight months. I think it'd be important. I think
- 32:57Speaker 1: that's important journalism that we could have. And of course
- 32:59Speaker 1: the is was Matthew Ross Matthews, which I'm so excited
- 33:03Speaker 1: about I'm so happy that he's doing it, and I
- 33:08Speaker 1: can't wait to see the questions that he asks. He
- 33:12Speaker 1: did comment on my reel. I made a reel talking
- 33:16Speaker 1: about ninety dight fiance and Ross is a very funny
- 33:23Speaker 1: pop culture person. Of course, he's on the Drew Barrymore show.
- 33:25Speaker 1: I've mentioned this before. Of course, he had a show
- 33:28Speaker 1: on e It was called Hello Ross, and I got
- 33:30Speaker 1: to be on it billions of years ago, you know,
- 33:34Speaker 1: one of the few times that TV allowed me to
- 33:36Speaker 1: be on. Anyway, so kidding, I'm in a weird state.
- 33:39Speaker 1: But anyway, it's a weird time for this whole industry,
- 33:41Speaker 1: and who knows what's going to happen with it. But
- 33:42Speaker 1: at least I had this podcast where, for some reason,
- 33:45Speaker 1: my voice is all I have. You can also see
- 33:48Speaker 1: the visuals though, of course, if you pay extra five
- 33:50Speaker 1: dollars only five dollars on Patreon, you get them super fast,
- 33:54Speaker 1: and then sometimes I release them to YouTube. At the
- 33:57Speaker 1: same time, you can also follow me. I'm at Chris
- 34:00Speaker 1: Farah on all your major social media networks like Instagram,
- 34:03Speaker 1: like TikTok, and at the same time, you know, you
- 34:05Speaker 1: can follow me on substack. I have a Facebook, both
- 34:10Speaker 1: a page and the group Anity Farah. All of that exists,
- 34:14Speaker 1: and I certainly appreciate all of the really loving comments
- 34:18Speaker 1: and kind words I've gotten ever since a launching a
- 34:21Speaker 1: solo podcast, but you know everything, I've gotten such nice
- 34:26Speaker 1: comments on my reels recently, which I you know, is
- 34:30Speaker 1: like such a validating feeling, and I'm wildly appreciative of it.
- 34:37Speaker 1: So let us my loves take two breaths and be
- 34:40Speaker 1: on our merry ways. I really hope that as we
- 34:47Speaker 1: end Spring or sorry, as we end April, as we
- 34:50Speaker 1: like look towards, may may you find love, May you
- 34:58Speaker 1: find happiness slash joy. May you find really fun nights
- 35:06Speaker 1: and really full and productive days, as well as nights
- 35:12Speaker 1: and days of absolute rest. And may you find souls
- 35:21Speaker 1: that mirror back all of the beauty at warmth within you. Okay,
- 35:28Speaker 1: so truly to those listening, that feels like any good
- 35:37Speaker 1: part of me sort of is what I feel like
- 35:43Speaker 1: I get back mirrored from comments or reviews or anything.
- 35:51Speaker 1: I get back like it's and it's just a lovely
- 35:57Speaker 1: it's It really is making me feel like really happy,
- 36:01Speaker 1: even though this sounds like there's no happiness in my
- 36:03Speaker 1: voice right now, it's because I asked a reflex right now.
- 36:06Speaker 1: So unfortunately, my own health issues are making me whatever
- 36:11Speaker 1: annoyed and my throat hurts, but I'm moving through it.
- 36:16Speaker 1: You know what's really hard. I think I'm in a
- 36:20Speaker 1: midlife crisis mixed with perimenopause, which is like timed really
- 36:26Speaker 1: horribly for women. Right if you're a woman and you
- 36:30Speaker 1: feel like your midlife crisis is at the same time
- 36:34Speaker 1: as perimenopause, is that what it's always gonna Yeah? Is
- 36:37Speaker 1: that what it is? That's what this is. It's like
- 36:43Speaker 1: really difficult because then you have like a bunch of
- 36:47Speaker 1: mental and physical things happening. Plus it's like hormonal. There's
- 36:51Speaker 1: like what can you do and how do you decipher
- 36:54Speaker 1: how to fix certain things? Yiche boogiche? Okay, two breaths,
- 36:59Speaker 1: and the breaths are truly right now. I'm very happy
- 37:03Speaker 1: and I am totally fine, and I hope wherever you
- 37:07Speaker 1: are listening to this in this moment that you feel safe, happy, fine.
- 37:12Speaker 1: So let's plan ourselves if we can, and be thankful
- 37:17Speaker 1: for the very present moment that we're sharing. Okay, babes,
- 37:20Speaker 1: two breaths, thank you so much. I'm I'm gonna go
- 37:44Speaker 1: later on this week to see Devilware's product. I'm excited
- 37:47Speaker 1: for that to come out. And this is like my
- 37:49Speaker 1: own nerdiness. Like AMC has these, like you know, limited
- 37:53Speaker 1: edition popcorn buckets. You know what I'm talking about. It's
- 37:55Speaker 1: how annoying because it's the way that's actually saving the movie.
- 37:59Speaker 1: And I guess are these like expensive popcorn buckets? And
- 38:03Speaker 1: I don't want any of them except the Devil Wears
- 38:06Speaker 1: Prada one. It's like a red looking Birken bag. It's
- 38:10Speaker 1: plastic of course for the popcorn, and I do want it.
- 38:13Speaker 1: I do want it. So I'm hoping that when I
- 38:15Speaker 1: go that they still have them. And so say a
- 38:17Speaker 1: prayer for your girl, and also take care of yourselves
- 38:20Speaker 1: and one another, stand there for what you believe, and
- 38:22Speaker 1: make art all right. And the art can be big
- 38:25Speaker 1: and small. It can be collaborative or you. It could
- 38:28Speaker 1: happen in one moment by a breath or a song,
- 38:32Speaker 1: or a helpful smile to someone or a compliment, or
- 38:36Speaker 1: of course it can be the masterpiece of your life.
- 38:40Speaker 1: Whatever it is, try and create it. Okay, babes, I'll
- 38:44Speaker 1: talk to you later. Thanks. Bye,
