On Campus point today we want to highlight a thought on
• 0:08
leadership by Mr. Funston. Hi, I'm Pete Smith.

Psalm 78 verse 72 says of David, he shepherded them according to
• 0:16
the integrity of his heart and guided them by the skilfulness
• 0:19
of his hands. We need to take care of the
• 0:21
people of God with our hearts and our hands, that is with
• 0:24
grace and truth. Leadership at any level is more
• 0:27
  than warm thoughts towards everyone.
• 0:29
Rather, God expects us first to understand and submit to His
• 0:33
truth, then transmit that on to others.
• 0:36
That training has been the pattern of leadership since the
• 0:38
beginning of time. Is there an obvious balance in
• 0:41
my leadership style between a warm hearted, compassionate
• 0:44
approach and a definite pointed 1?
• 0:46
The mentoring process is never outdated and as you mentor, be
• 0:50
sure to pass on equal measures of grace and truth.
