  day. Through this podcast, you'll

  This week we're joining NYI Nasrin Youth International

  Eurasia. Young people from across the

  region will be sharing their stories in daily devotionals,

  Voices from Scotland to India. Today we're joined by Amenabella
• 0:58
  Louis Shock. For almost a year, Amenabella
• 1:00
  has been serving as the district leader for France, walking
• 1:03
  alongside young people and helping shape the next
• 1:06
  generation of leaders. But her journey didn't start
• 1:09
  there. For more than six years,
• 1:11
  Emenavella has faithfully served also as a NYI leader in her
• 1:15
  local church, investing time, energy and heart into youth
• 1:19
  ministry. Today she joins us to share from
• 1:22
  her experience and journey. Good morning everyone.
• 1:26
  Today I would like to share a short devotion with you on the
• 1:30
  NYI Priority Life Changing Experience Scripture.
• 1:35
  John 139 Come, he replied, and you will see.
• 1:41
  So they went and saw where he was staying and they spent that
• 1:45
  day with him. It was about four in the
• 1:48
  afternoon. I would like to give this
• 1:51
  devotion the title Life Changing Experience Come and see.
• 1:56
  In this verse, Jesus invite people to come and have a
• 2:00
  personal experience with Him. He could have simply told them
• 2:04
  where he lived. He could have just give them an
• 2:07
  address. But instead, Jesus invited them
• 2:11
  into action. He invited them to follow him,
• 2:15
  to walk with him, and to experience His presence
• 2:18
  personally. They had already heard John the
• 2:21
  Baptist say that Jesus was the Lamb of God.
• 2:25
  They had already seen Jesus pass by with their own eyes, but now
• 2:31
  it was time for more than hearing and seeing.
• 2:34
  It was time to move, to follow and to encounter Jesus.
• 2:39
  And it's the same way this is what NYI does today.
• 2:44
  NYI creates moment where young people are invited to experience
• 2:48
  God personally through conference, camp, mission trips,
• 2:53
  training and cultural exchange. NYI say to young people across
• 2:59
  our region and across the world. Come and see.
• 3:04
  Come and experience Jesus. Come and encounter God in your
• 3:08
  community. Come and grow in your face.
• 3:13
  NYI creates space where young people from different culture
• 3:17
  come together, united by one love, the love of God, or by a
• 3:23
  desire to know who God is. And when we truly encounter God,
• 3:29
  transformation begins. And I can personally testify to
• 3:34
  that transformation. The NYI 3rd Wave conference
• 3:39
  which brought together leader and future leader from all
• 3:43
  around the world completely changed my life.
• 3:47
  Meeting brother and sister in Christ from different country,
• 3:51
  learning from one another, worshipping together, praying
• 3:56
  together, sharing together, and even having fun together.
• 4:01
  Throughout the whole conference, you could feel the presence of
• 4:05
  God. During that time, God placed
• 4:09
  something in my heart. I was already serving in my
• 4:13
  local church, but I felt God calling me to serve more.
• 4:17
  Not only locally, but beyond that.
• 4:20
  I pray and say, Lord, I really want to serve you more.
• 4:25
  And during that conference, through the simple act of coming
• 4:29
  together, learning, sharing, praying, God was transforming
• 4:34
  our live. When I returned to France, I was
• 4:38
  later invited to serve not only as a local leader, but as the
• 4:42
  national level. It was as if God was saying to
• 4:47
  me, don't worry, I've got you. Now I have the privilege of
• 4:52
  serving the youth of friends, and God has given me new brother
• 4:57
  and sister in Christ. It has truly been a blessing.
• 5:02
  Third Ways was the beginning of the new journey for me, and it
• 5:07
  did not stop there. Through NYI training like Nexus,
• 5:12
  I have seen how young people continue to be transformed by
• 5:16
  gathering together, by learning the Word of God, by growing in
• 5:20
  their identity and by strengthening their relationship
• 5:24
  with God. Transformation happen when we
• 5:29
  respond to the invitation, come and see.
• 5:33
  And this transformation is not for a special group of people,
• 5:37
  it is for everyone. NYI work intentionally to remove
• 5:42
  barrier and to invite all young people to experience Jesus
• 5:46
  through his event program and opportunity.
• 5:50
  NYI continue to say you are invited, you belong, come and
• 5:56
  see. My life was transformed to NYI
• 6:00
  and yours can be too. So today, just like Jesus say in
• 6:05
  John chapter 1, come and see. Let's pray together.
• 6:11
  Lord Jesus, we thank you for the invitation you offer to each one
• 6:16
  of us, this invitation to come and see.
• 6:20
  Thank you because through this invitation you invite us into a
• 6:25
  personal encounter with you, to know you, and to experience your
• 6:29
  presence. We pray for the NYI ministry and
• 6:33
  for all its leader who serve you faithfully, working for the
• 6:37
  youth and creating space where young people can encounter you.
• 6:42
  Lord, we ask you that through this encounter you will
• 6:46
  transform their life just as you have transformed ours.
• 6:50
  We pray that young people will find their place in your church,
• 6:54
  that every doubt and fear will be removed, and that you will
• 6:59
  give them courage to take a step of faith.

  Encourage them Lord, to respond to your call to come and see in
• 7:07
