  as the next girl to really watch at a young age up and coming.

  She's going to race tomorrow. She's going to qualify today.

  She's locked in the race because there's not enough cars.

  Man, isn't that fantastic? God, I'd get no, I wouldn't.

  I was going to, I was about going to say I'd give anything

  to have raced during the era where you don't have to qualify.

  But during my era, man, it, it, it was like, it was like the

  disco days. It was incredible.

  When I raced, there was 60 cars for 28 spots, 32 spots.

  When I qualified, it was it was a race within a race.

  You know what I mean, David, if told me that buddy, we got 2

  races. We got the qualifying and then

  the race. So Catherine does not have to

  worry about making the race. She's locked in.

  So here's the story. Bob Pockras, his article reads

  that she had a whole bunch of help, so they started this

  process. I guess she's at Kansas City or

  no, not Kansas City. She was at Atlanta.

  She was at Atlanta and she went to NASCAR.

  I mean, this is the way the story reads now.

  Catherine, she goes to, maybe it's Catherine cause got an E on

  So anyway, she goes to NASCAR and she says I want to race.

  So they reach out. They find her a car as she says,

  not a real good car. To my surprise, she said her

  objective is she got, she knows she's not going to be

  competitive. She just wants to make all the

  laughs. Now she said this in the

  article. I think that's a good way to

  look at it. You know, she's in her early 40s

  and NASCAR starts putting together everything for her.

  It's a pretty amazing story. Richard Childers puts her in her

  puts her in a SIM. College racing helped her.

  She got in some pit stop practice.

  I don't think Phoenix is considered a superspeedway, so

  they deemed her eligible to go out to Phoenix and race.

  But to me, the way she went about this, she got a lot of

  help from NASCAR. She told them what she wanted to

  do. NASCAR said, well, let's get

  your reps in. And she's been working The Sims

  with Richard Childress and Chevrolet.

  She's been practicing pit stops. So she done media this morning.

  Here's the deal. She has run the fastest laps.

  Just a little bit about her. She's run the fastest qualifying

  lap at Indianapolis Motor Speedway history as a girl.

  You know, I can remember Danica saying, I want to get it to one

  day where they don't even talk about girls.

  for years it was 1.82 point. 2 million people watching NASCAR.

  Where the hell did 2 million people come out of the woodwork

  strong? 2,000,000 more people watching

  on TV. 2,000,000 more people watching NASCAR every week.
