- 0:00Speaker 1: Welcome to We Talk Back Podcast, a production of iHeartRadio
- 0:04Speaker 1: and the Black Effect Network. Talk, talk, talk to them.
- 0:08Speaker 2: We're just two unapologetically Black women with an opinion who
- 0:13Speaker 2: talk back.
- 0:18Speaker 1: What's up, y'all? It's your girl, AJ Holiday. What's up,
- 0:21Speaker 1: Tam Bam? Y'all, it's me, Tam Bam.
- 0:25Speaker 2: I love y'all so much, and I'm so glad y'all
- 0:27Speaker 2: came back with us again this week. How was your weekend, AJ?
- 0:32Speaker 1: I was working all fucking weekend. I've been working for
- 0:35Speaker 1: two months straight. Hardly no weekends off.
- 0:40Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 0:41Speaker 1: Two months.
- 0:42Speaker 2: That sucks.
- 0:43Speaker 1: I'm going on vacation next month. That sucks. You had
- 0:45Speaker 1: to work on Sunday? I don't know what y'all about
- 0:47Speaker 1: to do. No, I mean, but I literally drove back
- 0:50Speaker 1: late as hell at night. Y'all, we were recording over
- 0:53Speaker 1: the weekend. We're trying to be consistent. We talked about this.
- 0:56Speaker 1: Tammy broke my pinky finger about it. Yeah, I got home.
- 1:02Speaker 2: That little midget. That little mini finger. It's so short
- 1:08Speaker 2: in comparison to your other finger, too. It's not like
- 1:12Speaker 2: all your fingers are short. That pinky is just like.
- 1:14Speaker 1: Yeah, because if you take the nail off, it's real short.
- 1:18Speaker 3: Nope.
- 1:19Speaker 2: All right, anyway, go ahead.
- 1:20Speaker 1: You got home. Yeah, I didn't have time to do anything.
- 1:23Speaker 1: I had promised my mom I would come over there
- 1:25Speaker 1: and juice for her because on the way to Charlotte,
- 1:27Speaker 1: she was telling me she wasn't feeling well. So I
- 1:30Speaker 1: told her I would, you know, come bring some fruits
- 1:32Speaker 1: and vegetables and stuff and do a little juicing. So
- 1:36Speaker 1: I did that, went by my daddy house. And you know,
- 1:40Speaker 1: that take a long time to visit your parents, man.
- 1:43Speaker 1: So by the time I got back home, it was
- 1:45Speaker 1: like five o'clock. Cook me some fish, get ready for
- 1:48Speaker 1: the week. That's my, that was my weekend. Yeah, driving.
- 1:53Speaker 2: So what did I do? Yeah, you drove a lot.
- 1:59Speaker 2: We recorded Saturday and then Sunday I did not do
- 2:01Speaker 2: a thing. I just laid in bed. Like I had
- 2:04Speaker 2: plans to clean out my car. All my clothes from
- 2:06Speaker 2: recording are still in the backseat of my car. It's
- 2:09Speaker 2: still back there. And then I had, I hired a,
- 2:15Speaker 2: I'm not going to say what company yet until I
- 2:17Speaker 2: get my check. But I hired a company to come
- 2:21Speaker 2: hang my shelves on my wall. So I'm trying to
- 2:25Speaker 2: get my place how I want it. And this motherfucker
- 2:32Speaker 2: drills through the sprinkler system and causes water to flood
- 2:39Speaker 2: my living room, kitchen, and garage. And when I tell
- 2:42Speaker 2: y'all it was madness, I was ankle deep in water.
- 2:48Speaker 2: That's how much water. It was running down the stairs.
- 2:51Speaker 2: That's how much water it was. Water all down the stairs.
- 2:54Speaker 2: Like I ran and got five blankets and I was
- 2:56Speaker 2: putting them on top of the water and in towels
- 2:58Speaker 2: and just squeezing it into the, and I was screaming
- 3:01Speaker 2: to the top of my lungs.
- 3:02Speaker 1: And he was like, I can cut it off.
- 3:03Speaker 2: I can cut it off. He cut off all the water.
- 3:05Speaker 2: It's still not cut off. I was like, I'm about
- 3:07Speaker 2: to call 911.
- 3:07Speaker 1: Oh, because the sprinkler system isn't a part of your
- 3:10Speaker 1: water system.
- 3:12Speaker 2: It's not my water line, but we didn't know where
- 3:14Speaker 2: it was coming from at that point. At first I
- 3:17Speaker 2: thought it was gas when I heard, cause it was like,
- 3:20Speaker 2: so I just ran up out of here. And I
- 3:23Speaker 2: hollered back inside. I was like, what is it?
- 3:28Speaker 1: You alive in there? It's water. It's water.
- 3:33Speaker 2: So then I run back in and then we both
- 3:35Speaker 2: run into the garage trying to fuck with the water
- 3:38Speaker 2: system at the bottom. And then I run back upstairs
- 3:40Speaker 2: and that's when I see it's flooding in the house.
- 3:42Speaker 2: So that's when I'm like panicking because so much water
- 3:45Speaker 2: has already filled my living room and kitchen. And I'm
- 3:49Speaker 2: just running, grabbing blankets, grabbing towels, trying to And now
- 3:52Speaker 2: I'm crying at this point. I'm screaming, crying. And he
- 3:55Speaker 2: brought his niece with him because he watches his niece.
- 3:57Speaker 2: He's like, he asked before he came. He's like, I
- 4:00Speaker 2: have my niece. I didn't have time to drop her off.
- 4:03Speaker 2: I can reschedule or I can come and she'll just
- 4:05Speaker 2: sit down. She running around this bitch talking about.
- 4:08Speaker 1: I don't know how to swim. I don't know how
- 4:10Speaker 1: to swim.
- 4:11Speaker 2: Like it was just madness in here.
- 4:19Speaker 1: What if she ran out the damn door? How old
- 4:21Speaker 1: was the little girl?
- 4:23Speaker 2: She was like four or five.
- 4:31Speaker 1: Get a towel.
- 4:32Speaker 2: That's what you need to do is grab a towel
- 4:34Speaker 2: and help.
- 4:35Speaker 1: Right.
- 4:36Speaker 2: Talk about you don't know how to swim. So then
- 4:38Speaker 2: I was like, I'm calling 911. He was like, don't
- 4:39Speaker 2: call 911. And I was like, bitch. Like, yes, I'm
- 4:43Speaker 2: calling now. Like I cussed him out so bad. I
- 4:46Speaker 2: cussed him out so bad. So then I called 911
- 4:49Speaker 2: and the fire truck got here and then they went into,
- 4:54Speaker 2: they took an ax to my wall to figure out
- 4:57Speaker 2: where the water was coming from and saw that it
- 4:59Speaker 2: was the sprinkler line. So then they went in the building,
- 5:04Speaker 2: the side of the building, cut off the sprinkler line
- 5:06Speaker 2: and stopped the water. So my house is a mess.
- 5:12Speaker 2: The wall has ax holes in it. The floor is
- 5:15Speaker 2: completely ruined. It's all rippled. you know, from the water
- 5:19Speaker 2: that got up underneath the panel. So it's all rippled
- 5:21Speaker 2: and fucked up. But luckily, it wasn't my homeboy doing it.
- 5:28Speaker 2: It was an actual company who has insurance. So I
- 5:31Speaker 2: filed a claim with them today.
- 5:32Speaker 1: Yeah, because it would have been me. It would have
- 5:36Speaker 1: been me doing it. Because I ain't calling nobody to
- 5:39Speaker 1: do shit. So I would have pierced a hole in
- 5:41Speaker 1: some shit. How is that even possible? That doesn't even
- 5:45Speaker 1: make sense to me. Like, why would it be... made
- 5:48Speaker 1: like that that close to the wall yeah because i
- 5:50Speaker 1: mean did he use a stud finder to see like
- 5:53Speaker 1: well part of that i thought he was but the
- 5:57Speaker 1: but the the um the shit might not even be
- 6:00Speaker 1: damn metal.
- 6:03Speaker 2: So but some of it is metal and there was
- 6:05Speaker 2: a metal plate over it so he had to drill
- 6:07Speaker 2: through the plate to get to the pipe.
- 6:10Speaker 1: He didn't use no damn stud finder then Because he
- 6:13Speaker 1: would have known.
- 6:14Speaker 2: No, not like he was supposed to.
- 6:16Speaker 1: Well, you're supposed to try to drill into the stud
- 6:19Speaker 1: so it can stay, but he may have assumed what
- 6:22Speaker 1: he felt was the metal.
- 6:25Speaker 2: I thought maybe he thought it was wood that he
- 6:28Speaker 2: was drilling into or not. I don't know what the
- 6:30Speaker 2: fuck he thought, but I know what he better. I
- 6:32Speaker 2: was like, motherfucker, I hope you got insurance while I
- 6:35Speaker 2: was running here through this bitch's house.
- 6:43Speaker 1: I know he felt terrible about that. He definitely didn't
- 6:47Speaker 1: come over there to ruin your fucking day.
- 6:50Speaker 2: Yeah, he looked so defeated. So by the time the
- 6:52Speaker 2: fire trucks had gone and we had got all the
- 6:55Speaker 2: water up, he was in here with my green machine
- 6:58Speaker 2: trying to suck water up off the floor. It was
- 7:01Speaker 2: just madness. I apologized to him for cussing at him
- 7:04Speaker 2: the way I did. I was like, I know you
- 7:06Speaker 2: didn't mean to do that. I shouldn't have talked to
- 7:09Speaker 2: you like that. He was like, He was like, you
- 7:12Speaker 2: know what? I'm not even mad at you. I would
- 7:15Speaker 2: have probably been the same way if it was the
- 7:17Speaker 2: other way around. So he said, I'm just more upset
- 7:20Speaker 2: that I did that shit.
- 7:23Speaker 1: Dang, he about to get put off the app.
- 7:27Speaker 2: If I get dealt with, I get dealt with.
- 7:29Speaker 1: Right.
- 7:30Speaker 2: He about to get more than put off the app.
- 7:32Speaker 2: I don't know what they're going to do to his ass.
- 7:34Speaker 2: I hope he has some insurance.
- 7:35Speaker 1: I don't know. Madness.
- 7:39Speaker 2: So that's what I got going on.
- 7:41Speaker 1: That's terrible.
- 7:42Speaker 2: And it was like the water was running in the wall,
- 7:45Speaker 2: so I'm thinking it's causing some electrical issues, too, because
- 7:47Speaker 2: my thermostat is going.
- 7:48Speaker 1: In and out.
- 7:50Speaker 2: My garage door is like... When I went to let
- 7:52Speaker 2: my garage door up, it was like stopping and going,
- 7:55Speaker 2: and the lights were flickering at the same time.
- 7:57Speaker 1: Oh, my God. That sounds like a bad make on
- 8:02Speaker 1: that home. That's what it sounds like to me.
- 8:04Speaker 2: I think.
- 8:05Speaker 1: My theory.
- 8:07Speaker 2: is that my unit, my townhome, is built directly on
- 8:11Speaker 2: top of an Indian burial ground.
- 8:13Speaker 1: That's what it got to be. Not just your place.
- 8:15Speaker 1: The whole shit. Everybody probably having problems.
- 8:19Speaker 3: Yes.
- 8:20Speaker 1: Yeah. Or projects. You know, that's what they do, too.
- 8:25Speaker 1: You don't even got to go that far back. Right.
- 8:30Speaker 3: Graveyard.
- 8:31Speaker 2: So that was my time. Now, I just wanted some
- 8:36Speaker 2: shelves up. I'm about to put them bitches on Facebook
- 8:39Speaker 2: Marketplace as soon as we finish because fuck them shelves.
- 8:42Speaker 1: I don't even want them no more.
- 8:43Speaker 2: They got bad genes.
- 8:44Speaker 1: What is that? Like the floating shelves? Yeah, literally. They
- 8:50Speaker 1: was about to be floating for real.
- 8:55Speaker 2: All right man let's get this.
- 8:56Speaker 1: In all right y'all uh y'all know we have all
- 9:01Speaker 1: these relationship gurus online you got the uh what's that
- 9:08Speaker 1: one nigga name maybe about two years ago he drove
- 9:11Speaker 1: his his nice christian wife insane derrick jackson That might
- 9:16Speaker 1: have been during COVID. It might have been longer than that.
- 9:19Speaker 1: Because I think he's gotten married and had another baby since.
- 9:22Speaker 1: I don't know. I might be lying on him. But
- 9:24Speaker 1: I know they aren't together. But another social media sensation. Yada.
- 9:38Speaker 1: So Yada is this guy on Instagram. And I think
- 9:41Speaker 1: he used to be like a big boy. And then
- 9:44Speaker 1: he lost a whole lot of weight doing all his
- 9:46Speaker 1: holistic things. He went vegan. And he has this wife.
- 9:51Speaker 1: Her name is Asia. Asia has had, I want to
- 9:55Speaker 1: say they are on their fourth child. And I think
- 9:59Speaker 1: he may have kids for somebody else. I know he
- 10:01Speaker 1: also has a wife in Africa. He talked about on
- 10:04Speaker 1: a podcast I've seen once. But, you know, his claim
- 10:08Speaker 1: to fame is, you know, talking about how men should
- 10:12Speaker 1: not have children if they can't afford them. We all
- 10:14Speaker 1: agree with that, right? He says a woman should be
- 10:18Speaker 1: paid $ 250, 000 a month. He pays, I mean a year.
- 10:22Speaker 1: He pays his wife $ 250, 000 a year per child was
- 10:27Speaker 1: his whole thing. And the niggas been tidy out. I
- 10:30Speaker 1: feel like the niggas been waiting for this shit to
- 10:33Speaker 1: happen so they can say, I told y'all bitches. I
- 10:36Speaker 1: told y'all bitches. Like these niggas ain't shit. But it's
- 10:42Speaker 1: just weird that Is there nobody that could, you know,
- 10:46Speaker 1: represent a good man and not be... And I don't
- 10:49Speaker 1: even know if his... I can tell from a thousand
- 10:52Speaker 1: miles away, like, this bitch was getting beat up. Sorry
- 10:55Speaker 1: for calling you a bitch, child, but yeah. I can
- 10:57Speaker 1: tell from a thousand miles away that he was on
- 11:01Speaker 1: some bullshit. The nigga short.
- 11:01Speaker 2: He was whooping her.
- 11:03Speaker 1: He's short for one. I love the short kings.
- 11:06Speaker 2: Napoleon complex.
- 11:07Speaker 1: Yes. I'm the short nigga advocate, but let me tell y'all.
- 11:10Speaker 1: They definitely be having problems mentally. She taller than him.
- 11:16Speaker 1: She's a beautiful girl. He's a nice looking guy. She
- 11:25Speaker 1: just recently took to social media with a black eye
- 11:29Speaker 1: to expose him for abuse. Um, she shared text messages
- 11:34Speaker 1: where she said that he had knocked her tooth out
- 11:37Speaker 1: and he basically just sent a one hitter, quit a line, like, yeah,
- 11:40Speaker 1: go to Dr. David or whatever to get your shit fixed.
- 11:43Speaker 1: And she was still sending him paragraphs. Like, I can't
- 11:45Speaker 1: believe like still being like, to me, she was wanting
- 11:49Speaker 1: like more empathy from him. His response was very cold.
- 11:54Speaker 1: I feel like maybe he, uh, She probably ended the
- 11:58Speaker 1: relationship because she got hit, but she wants, I think
- 12:01Speaker 1: she still wants this relationship. And now you're taking it
- 12:04Speaker 1: to the internet because he may not be giving you
- 12:07Speaker 1: the response you want. So in a lengthy statement, Aja
- 12:12Speaker 1: alleged that she experienced domestic violence during the relationship, saying
- 12:16Speaker 1: that Just eight weeks postpartum, she looked at a bruise
- 12:20Speaker 1: on her face and realized she could no longer describe
- 12:22Speaker 1: as simply a difficult season. She said she spent years
- 12:26Speaker 1: building a family and business, forgiving, leaving, returning, and hoping
- 12:30Speaker 1: things would eventually get better. Asia says she ultimately chose
- 12:33Speaker 1: to walk away from her safety, peace, and children. You
- 12:37Speaker 1: walk away from your children? Adding that she doesn't want
- 12:41Speaker 1: what she experienced to define her. She also revealed that
- 12:44Speaker 1: her journey inspired House of Divine, which she says she
- 12:49Speaker 1: created to provide other women with courage and information. So
- 12:52Speaker 1: now she's creating a whole other business out of being
- 12:55Speaker 1: abused also. A lot of these people online are grifters, okay?
- 13:00Speaker 1: I just feel like if you can get finessed, you're
- 13:02Speaker 1: going to get finessed. Just grifting. You stood by him
- 13:06Speaker 1: while he was grifting. I don't know if I can
- 13:09Speaker 1: accept this now. Yeah.
- 13:12Speaker 2: This ain't the first time she got beat. You know,
- 13:15Speaker 2: this ain't the first time she got beat. But she
- 13:16Speaker 2: was just keeping it live, trying to maintain that family
- 13:20Speaker 2: and that image. And that sucks. I hate that for her.
- 13:24Speaker 3: It does.
- 13:24Speaker 1: And then, you know, you got women like Cash Doll saying,
- 13:27Speaker 1: you know, I'm a nigga with money. When you the
- 13:29Speaker 1: nigga with money, like, you really don't have to deal
- 13:31Speaker 1: with niggas like this for money. You know, you really
- 13:34Speaker 1: don't have to. Right, that part. They actually treat you
- 13:36Speaker 1: different because they know you got options. Mm-hmm. So make
- 13:41Speaker 1: sure whatever you have isn't all just given to you
- 13:44Speaker 1: by a guy. You know what I'm saying? You got to,
- 13:47Speaker 1: this is a reason.
- 13:48Speaker 2: Because they can take it away.
- 13:50Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 13:51Speaker 1: And this is why the independent woman was created. Our
- 13:54Speaker 1: moms and grandmoms and great grandmoms created the independent woman.
- 13:58Speaker 1: Even though we always ran shit, we always ran the households,
- 14:03Speaker 1: a lot of these men ruled their homes with an
- 14:07Speaker 1: iron fist because they had zero control outside of that house.
- 14:10Speaker 1: So they would come home and take it out on
- 14:13Speaker 1: their family. Right.
- 14:16Speaker 2: That part, that's so true.
- 14:17Speaker 1: Yeah, get your money up, man. Get your motherfucking money
- 14:21Speaker 1: up so you don't have to be like AJ Yotta.
- 14:25Speaker 1: Staying with a little short nigga who be beating her.
- 14:28Speaker 1: He probably got to jump up like Jordan to hit her. Right.
- 14:33Speaker 1: And then can't do that with no nigga. That part.
- 14:36Speaker 2: Just only beating on somebody who weaker than you.
- 14:39Speaker 1: Mm-hmm. Gross.
- 14:40Speaker 2: All right, here's this. Texas ain't playing with y'all ass,
- 14:45Speaker 2: with y'all candy-eating drug addicts. So here's how much prison
- 14:51Speaker 2: time possessing THC gummies can now get you in the
- 14:55Speaker 2: state of Texas. So Delta-8, Delta-10, THCP, and other manufactured
- 15:01Speaker 2: THC compounds became Schedule I controlled substances in Texas on
- 15:06Speaker 2: July 31st. That's not Schedule I.
- 15:10Speaker 1: I know.
- 15:11Speaker 4: Right.
- 15:12Speaker 2: It's real drugs now to them.
- 15:14Speaker 1: Heroin.
- 15:15Speaker 2: Pulling product from more than 14,000 registered hemp retailers, possession
- 15:20Speaker 2: can be charged as a felony. So you get out
- 15:24Speaker 2: there and get them strong-ass gummies if you want. You
- 15:27Speaker 2: go into jail.
- 15:29Speaker 1: And you get some real time.
- 15:31Speaker 2: Like, so this says, like, hold on. One gummy can
- 15:38Speaker 2: get you 180 days to two years in jail.
- 15:41Speaker 1: So basically a gram. One little gummy bear. A gram
- 15:43Speaker 1: of THC.
- 15:45Speaker 2: And then four grams, one to four grams is two
- 15:48Speaker 2: to ten years.
- 15:49Speaker 1: That's two gummies.
- 15:51Speaker 2: Four to 400 grams, which is like a bag, is
- 15:55Speaker 2: two to 20 years. And then over 400 grams, which
- 15:59Speaker 2: means you're probably distributing it at that point, five to
- 16:03Speaker 2: 99 years or life in jail.
- 16:07Speaker 1: Ride around with that can if you want to, thick as.
- 16:08Speaker 2: Shit, sweet.
- 16:10Speaker 1: This shit is fucking disgusting. And what this means is
- 16:15Speaker 1: that Texas realizes that they will not make as much
- 16:19Speaker 1: money if they were to legalize THC selling it, right?
- 16:24Speaker 1: So they make more money imprisoning people. They right there
- 16:28Speaker 1: on the border at Texas to Mexico. You think that
- 16:32Speaker 1: the government ain't the ones selling drugs down there? That's
- 16:34Speaker 1: why they don't want your average Joe Smoe being able
- 16:37Speaker 1: to legally do it. Because they're the ones that control
- 16:41Speaker 1: the drugs that's coming through Mexico to the United States border.
- 16:46Speaker 1: This is some real bullshit. It's actually pretty scary. It is.
- 16:51Speaker 2: Now it says low dose Delta 9 edibles and drinks
- 16:53Speaker 2: remain legal. So you get the shit that don't work,
- 16:56Speaker 2: you might as well just go get you something terrible
- 16:59Speaker 2: at that point.
- 16:59Speaker 1: Yeah, weed period is already scheduled on. And then now
- 17:03Speaker 1: if you got some real gummies or vapes, you're going
- 17:07Speaker 1: to jail. Mm-hmm.
- 17:09Speaker 2: You're going to jail. And don't come from another state
- 17:13Speaker 2: to Texas and you got them because you will get
- 17:15Speaker 2: in trouble. Even if you bought them in Georgia, you
- 17:19Speaker 2: got them in Texas, you go to Houston for vacation,
- 17:21Speaker 2: and you brought your gummies with you. You're going to jail.
- 17:24Speaker 1: You're probably going to leave that pen in your makeup bag. Mm-hmm.
- 17:29Speaker 2: Like, that's how I travel.
- 17:35Speaker 1: And make it blend in with my lip liners.
- 17:38Speaker 2: See, I only like flowers, so I don't fuck with
- 17:42Speaker 2: none of that other shit. All that shit have me tripping.
- 17:45Speaker 1: So you wait till you get to where you're going
- 17:47Speaker 1: and you just be around here fiending. We got to
- 17:49Speaker 1: find some weed first before we eat, before we drink,
- 17:53Speaker 1: before we brush our teeth, before we go to sleep.
- 17:55Speaker 1: Got to find some weed before we go to the beach.
- 17:57Speaker 1: I don't like that. I'm not one of those.
- 18:01Speaker 2: I know those types, but I'm not one of those.
- 18:03Speaker 2: But yeah, we got to find it at some point.
- 18:05Speaker 1: Come on.
- 18:06Speaker 2: But I'll be lining up people before I get to
- 18:08Speaker 2: a place. Social media work well.
- 18:12Speaker 1: You fucking ready to message an FBI agent one day, bitch.
- 18:16Speaker 1: Knock on wood, bitch. Waiting on your ass. Knock right here. Boop, boop, boop, boop,
- 18:24Speaker 1: boop on your head.
- 18:26Speaker 2: The amount that I'm trying to buy, if y'all out
- 18:29Speaker 2: here on the internet trying to, this girl wanted less
- 18:33Speaker 2: than 3.5.
- 18:35Speaker 1: I don't even know how much a little blunt is.
- 18:37Speaker 2: I just need enough to roll two, please.
- 18:42Speaker 1: That's it. You smoke little small joints like that? Yeah.
- 18:47Speaker 3: Oh.
- 18:48Speaker 1: That's it. That's all I need. And I'm good. Y'all, this... Damn,
- 18:55Speaker 1: hold on. Wait a minute, wait a minute. Grand jury
- 18:58Speaker 1: testimony and Dwayne Keefie... Dwayne Keefie D. Davis statements. Have
- 19:03Speaker 1: you been following that? Keefie D., the guy who basically
- 19:08Speaker 1: they're trying to say kill Tupac.
- 19:09Speaker 4: Tupac. Yeah.
- 19:10Speaker 1: And that nigga has got himself caught up in some bullshit.
- 19:15Speaker 1: We'll talk about that next week. Anyway. Because I don't
- 19:18Speaker 1: think he killed Tupac. But you thought you could write
- 19:21Speaker 1: a book like you the killer, though. It's almost like
- 19:25Speaker 1: when we was at Benedict, you remember somebody got killed.
- 19:28Speaker 1: And all these niggas from Jersey was trying to act
- 19:32Speaker 1: like they was the killers until the fans hit the fucking...
- 19:36Speaker 1: School grounds. Until the fans made me wear the Columbia sign.
- 19:40Speaker 1: Now y'all ain't the killers no more. You don't remember that?
- 19:44Speaker 2: I don't remember that.
- 19:46Speaker 3: I do.
- 19:46Speaker 2: I didn't hang out with that crowd of students.
- 19:49Speaker 1: I didn't hang out. out with them niggas. Bitch, you
- 19:52Speaker 1: didn't hang out with them, but everybody done smashed a
- 19:55Speaker 1: nigga from Jersey. Not me. Not me either. New York? Yeah,
- 20:01Speaker 1: not Jersey. Look, I got to think. Anyway, Jess from
- 20:08Speaker 1: the Boy page, she has this post she posted just today.
- 20:12Speaker 1: It says, men only. Name something women wear that irritates
- 20:17Speaker 1: your soul. Women, listen. Of course, bitches can't never damn listen.
- 20:23Speaker 1: Which I think the number one thing is on there.
- 20:26Speaker 1: What you think, Tim? I think... Wigs.
- 20:33Speaker 2: Niggas hate wigs.
- 20:35Speaker 1: They do hate wigs.
- 20:37Speaker 2: They hate wigs.
- 20:39Speaker 1: I hate them too, but I mean, who the fuck
- 20:41Speaker 1: we feel like doing they goddamn hair, man?
- 20:43Speaker 2: I am sick of wearing wigs.
- 20:45Speaker 1: I'm going to be honest.
- 20:47Speaker 2: Why don't you get braids again?
- 20:48Speaker 1: They were cute. I don't really like braids. I know
- 20:52Speaker 1: it's easier nowadays to take braids out, but I really,
- 20:54Speaker 1: I'm not a braid girl. You know what I'm saying?
- 20:57Speaker 1: I might do my, like you got your locks, and
- 20:59Speaker 1: I might do that again when you take yours out.
- 21:02Speaker 1: Can't have the same hairstyle. But I don't really like
- 21:06Speaker 1: braids like that. And then I don't want my leave out.
- 21:10Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying? Because the minute I start
- 21:12Speaker 1: putting heat on that shit, it's over with.
- 21:15Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 21:15Speaker 1: For someone. And I'm not about to be walking around
- 21:18Speaker 1: here with the goddamn teddy bear hair either. So there's
- 21:22Speaker 1: that part.
- 21:25Speaker 2: That's why I say the braids was cute on you.
- 21:27Speaker 2: And you just don't ever wear them. But that was cute.
- 21:29Speaker 2: That was a cute look on you. What's another one?
- 21:33Speaker 1: What is the individual toe sandals? What is that? Is
- 21:37Speaker 1: that something?
- 21:38Speaker 2: Oh, the ones that have your feet in it, right?
- 21:40Speaker 2: It'll be like the big toe.
- 21:43Speaker 1: Yeah. Like the flat ones?
- 21:47Speaker 2: Yeah, they flat and they have like space for your
- 21:50Speaker 2: toes to go in it.
- 21:52Speaker 1: I thought they was talking about like the sneakers. Like
- 21:54Speaker 1: the sneaker.
- 21:55Speaker 2: They got the sneakers too.
- 21:57Speaker 1: I hadn't seen any like dress shoes like that individual
- 22:00Speaker 1: toe shoes.
- 22:03Speaker 4: They do.
- 22:03Speaker 2: They have those too.
- 22:04Speaker 1: I saw that a few times.
- 22:05Speaker 2: But I don't think it'll be individual to be like
- 22:07Speaker 2: big toe and the rest of the toes or something
- 22:09Speaker 2: like that.
- 22:10Speaker 1: Is that what they talking about?
- 22:11Speaker 2: They said them big ass eyelashes. Yeah, them body suits.
- 22:17Speaker 2: I knew that was going to be on there. Bonnets outside.
- 22:24Speaker 1: Big lashes is crazy, man. Some people's lashes be way
- 22:28Speaker 1: too big. It's like they almost got like a whole
- 22:29Speaker 1: pack on one eyelash. Also, so he's like long and thick.
- 22:34Speaker 1: It's crazy. I hate that.
- 22:37Speaker 2: The young girls, that's their thing.
- 22:39Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 22:39Speaker 2: Them lashes be huge.
- 22:41Speaker 1: Too long. Let me see. A girl commented and said,
- 22:49Speaker 1: handsome men only. We don't really care what out of
- 22:52Speaker 1: shape ugly men think. Oh, shit. I'm always trying to
- 22:57Speaker 1: figure out why. Like, if you married or you got
- 22:59Speaker 1: a girl, why are you even looking at other bitches
- 23:01Speaker 1: to have judgment on what they doing? Like, as long
- 23:03Speaker 1: as your girl doesn't look like these women, why you care?
- 23:07Speaker 1: Or are these men secretly talking shit about they woman
- 23:11Speaker 1: in these comments? Right.
- 23:13Speaker 2: That's what it is. This nigga said grown women with
- 23:17Speaker 2: the socks with the skirts on them. So the socks
- 23:21Speaker 2: with the lace. You talking about a skirt? Lace socks
- 23:24Speaker 2: that like fold over, you know?
- 23:26Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 23:26Speaker 2: Girls are wearing those with the like Mary Janes and
- 23:29Speaker 2: stuff like that.
- 23:31Speaker 1: When they put the stomach inside the pants. Where you
- 23:35Speaker 1: supposed to put it? Pajamas and bonnets outside. Like that
- 23:43Speaker 1: is not happening that often. I don't see that a lot.
- 23:46Speaker 1: I really don't. I think the more we shame people
- 23:48Speaker 1: for doing it, the less you're seeing it.
- 23:51Speaker 2: I think we just are not putting ourselves in those
- 23:54Speaker 2: environments where it's happening. That's what I'm thinking.
- 23:58Speaker 1: Possibly. Yeah.
- 24:00Speaker 2: Um, prostitution outfits and heavy makeup.
- 24:04Speaker 1: The colorful wigs, the bonus outside, the lingerie body suits.
- 24:10Speaker 1: It's like the same shit. Um, Them Spartan looking ass sandals.
- 24:14Speaker 1: What's Spartan? Oh, like the little Jesus sandals? I love those.
- 24:19Speaker 1: Me too. Fuck you. Lace friends and eyelashes. Way fuck you.
- 24:24Speaker 1: Kitten heels. Sports bras, a.k.a. titty draws.
- 24:32Speaker 2: Them African bees around your waist that don't get washed.
- 24:35Speaker 2: They do get washed because they get washed when we wash.
- 24:38Speaker 1: Exactly. What you talk about? Yeah. My nigga like that.
- 24:43Speaker 2: Color contacts get on.
- 24:44Speaker 1: My nerves well we don't like when y'all wear color
- 24:48Speaker 1: contacts either I hate when women have them long ass
- 24:57Speaker 1: ghetto nails little baby keep that shit classy you rep
- 25:02Speaker 1: me so do it well please okay.
- 25:05Speaker 2: So the top thing I'm seeing is bonnets girls take
- 25:08Speaker 2: them bonnets off outside the niggas hate.
- 25:10Speaker 1: That And the eyelashes. Somebody said a rob.
- 25:16Speaker 3: What?
- 25:17Speaker 1: He gay. The wigs especially when they peeling. We can
- 25:22Speaker 1: see your braids. Honorable mentions. Men's clothes. Bonnets outside. Corsets
- 25:28Speaker 1: with t-shirts. Burgundy nails. And bangs. I'm done.
- 25:35Speaker 2: Bangs?
- 25:36Speaker 1: What a bang did to you? Bitch ass nigga. This
- 25:43Speaker 1: shit is fucking hilarious. I'm offended.
- 25:45Speaker 2: I'm offended by some of these.
- 25:48Speaker 1: Nigga said B-Day makeup. This is too specific. Like, you
- 25:52Speaker 1: was mad because a bitch got cute on her birthday?
- 25:55Speaker 2: He was mad because he had to pay for the
- 25:56Speaker 2: birthday makeup. That's why.
- 25:58Speaker 1: I don't trust these niggas, man, because they've been saying
- 26:01Speaker 1: all these things for years, and what we're finding in
- 26:03Speaker 1: the current times is that niggas been wanting to be
- 26:06Speaker 1: bad bitches since forever. Because now they got the wigs
- 26:09Speaker 1: on too. And the big lashes. And the big nails.
- 26:13Speaker 1: In the purse. In the bag. And whatever shoes a
- 26:17Speaker 1: bitch wearing. So we can't trust. We cannot trust this
- 26:22Speaker 1: list of items. Yes. Because I feel like they just
- 26:25Speaker 1: waiting for us to stop doing it so they can
- 26:27Speaker 1: start doing it.
- 26:28Speaker 4: Boom. All right.
- 26:29Speaker 1: This last one said baby hair can go to hell. Oh, shit. BBL.
- 26:43Speaker 1: Somebody said BBLs. You don't be getting that BBLs no more,
- 26:48Speaker 1: for real. Booty shorts with no booty. This is hilarious.
- 26:53Speaker 1: We can read these shit all fucking day long.
- 26:55Speaker 2: All day, yeah. Fuck y'all.
- 26:57Speaker 1: But ladies, take notes. You know what I'm saying? We
- 27:00Speaker 1: trying to style, Max. You know, winter is coming. It's
- 27:03Speaker 1: a bad bitch sport. Okay, get your fits up.
- 27:05Speaker 5: Okay, you cannot wear your pussy out in the winter,
- 27:08Speaker 5: especially if you don't have health care. Okay, so use
- 27:11Speaker 5: ChatGPT for that. But in Ohio, they don't care. They
- 27:15Speaker 5: don't care in Ohio. Shout out to girlies in Ohio.
- 27:18Speaker 5: that do it in the freezing cold i went up
- 27:21Speaker 5: there to see drake and i had on a fur
- 27:22Speaker 5: coat and bitches had pussy out outfits on i was
- 27:26Speaker 5: like oh y'all feel different this is some polar bear
- 27:29Speaker 5: bitches out here they different yeah like the most i'm
- 27:36Speaker 5: doing is having an uncomfortable foot for some time yeah
- 27:39Speaker 5: okay oh that was one of the comments i did
- 27:41Speaker 5: see somebody said um a bitch wearing uncomfortable shoes and
- 27:45Speaker 5: then complaining about it the entire night. That sounds way
- 27:49Speaker 5: too specific and I have been her on a couple
- 27:52Speaker 5: of occasions.
- 27:53Speaker 4: Me too.
- 27:54Speaker 2: Because why ain't nowhere to sit? These is my sit
- 27:56Speaker 2: down shoes and you got me standing up.
- 27:59Speaker 1: I specifically asked if there was seating before I left
- 28:02Speaker 1: the house with these particular shoes on because I already
- 28:05Speaker 1: knew this is a sit down and cross my leg
- 28:07Speaker 1: type of night. Exactly. Where's the seats? So what are
- 28:13Speaker 1: we getting into today? We are talking about sports betting. Oh,
- 28:21Speaker 1: I want to learn. Me too, man. Hold on. Have
- 28:28Speaker 1: you set up a sports betting account yet? Like we discussed? No.
- 28:35Speaker 1: I ain't had time, bitch.
- 28:36Speaker 2: I've been floating.
- 28:37Speaker 1: Bitch, I've been in here floating, okay?
- 28:39Speaker 2: I ain't had no time to set up no sports account.
- 28:43Speaker 2: you ain't trying to make no money I'm backstroking in
- 28:45Speaker 2: this bitch no I but I did I set up
- 28:48Speaker 2: a different kind of account that I'm gonna talk about
- 28:50Speaker 2: on Patreon this week yeah that's what I'm gonna talk
- 28:55Speaker 2: about on our Patreon the different kind of account I
- 28:59Speaker 2: set up.
- 28:59Speaker 1: Alright we have the lovely Elizabeth Taylor she is a
- 29:06Speaker 1: professional sports better okay and a baddie okay so y'all
- 29:11Speaker 1: stay tuned We'll be right back. Y'all, we have a
- 29:20Speaker 1: very special guest on We Talk Back this week. We
- 29:23Speaker 1: have the lovely Taylor Conley Marcel.
- 29:26Speaker 2: I got it.
- 29:30Speaker 1: I read it. And she is a professional sports better.
- 29:34Speaker 1: Honeybee making a bag on a sports betting website. So
- 29:38Speaker 1: let me tell y'all. y'all.
- 29:41Speaker 2: I've known Taylor at least, what, maybe six or seven.
- 29:44Speaker 1: It's been a minute.
- 29:45Speaker 2: Six or seven years now. And we follow each other.
- 29:49Speaker 2: And over the past couple of years, I've.
- 29:51Speaker 1: Just been seeing the bitch glow up. I'm like, hold on.
- 29:54Speaker 1: And she shares that she's a sports bettor.
- 29:57Speaker 2: And it's just been getting better and better and better
- 30:00Speaker 2: and more money and more back. And I was like,
- 30:02Speaker 2: teach me your ways, guru. So I wanted to invite
- 30:06Speaker 2: her on so we can learn. Because the guy's been
- 30:08Speaker 2: doing this for a minute.
- 30:10Speaker 1: Yes, the guy's dominating. Yeah, but they dominate. They win, too, though.
- 30:14Speaker 1: You know, when they dominate. We have them niggas mad now.
- 30:17Speaker 2: Listen, y'all, I was doing my, like, so there was
- 30:20Speaker 2: this little sports betting that was going around my salon.
- 30:23Speaker 2: There were some barbershops in the building, too, because it
- 30:24Speaker 2: was like a suite. And they got me spending $ 11
- 30:27Speaker 2: every week and filling out a paper. And I was
- 30:30Speaker 2: just like Googling niggas and seeing if they looked like
- 30:33Speaker 2: they had a good package.
- 30:34Speaker 1: If they looked like they had a big dick, then
- 30:36Speaker 1: I circled. It did not work. That shit don't work.
- 30:39Speaker 1: Don't do it that way. Old dick niggas is winning.
- 30:45Speaker 1: But I was losing my $ 11 every week.
- 30:47Speaker 2: So I just stopped.
- 30:47Speaker 1: But it was paper.
- 30:48Speaker 2: It was just like circling names, giving $ 11.
- 30:51Speaker 1: I never know what happened to my life. What do
- 30:52Speaker 1: they call that? That's like....
- 30:54Speaker 3: That's like a very old school way of betting.
- 30:56Speaker 1: My daddy be doing that stuff.
- 30:58Speaker 3: He's winning.
- 31:00Speaker 2: But I don't want to do that, Noire. I want
- 31:02Speaker 2: to learn how you do it. So tell everybody about
- 31:05Speaker 2: yourself and then also tell us how you started gambling.
- 31:09Speaker 1: Yeah, of course.
- 31:11Speaker 4: So as many people know, sports betting is becoming more
- 31:14Speaker 4: and more popular. It became regulated in the United States,
- 31:18Speaker 4: I don't know, a number of years ago.
- 31:20Speaker 3: So Basically, today, people don't have.
- 31:23Speaker 4: To go to the casinos anymore or they don't have
- 31:25Speaker 4: to find a private bookie to place bets. They can
- 31:28Speaker 4: pick up their iPhone, their Android, whatever, log into a
- 31:32Speaker 4: sports betting book online and place their own sports bets.
- 31:35Speaker 4: that's the reason it's really became really popular over the years.
- 31:39Speaker 4: And when it became legal in North Carolina a few
- 31:41Speaker 4: years ago, that's when I really started looking at lines daily,
- 31:46Speaker 4: you know, really sports betting, um, created a sports betting
- 31:49Speaker 4: group with some friends and it just kind of took
- 31:52Speaker 4: off from there. So I've been pretty active over the
- 31:55Speaker 4: last few years before that. Um, a lot of people
- 31:59Speaker 4: were sports betting offshore. So, um, So kind of gotten
- 32:03Speaker 4: away from that and sports betting on U.S. regulated sports books.
- 32:06Speaker 4: And here we are today.
- 32:08Speaker 2: But some of like when you were posting, It looked
- 32:11Speaker 2: very like there was a science into it.
- 32:13Speaker 1: It wasn't just like looking at dicks like I was doing.
- 32:16Speaker 1: You know, it looked like, you know.
- 32:18Speaker 2: So how do you go about it?
- 32:20Speaker 1: Like, let's get into it for real. Yeah. So absolutely.
- 32:24Speaker 4: I would say from a career perspective, I'm an analyst
- 32:27Speaker 4: by trade. So I work in the consumer goods products
- 32:30Speaker 4: industry and I analyze data all the time. So selling
- 32:33Speaker 4: in products, I have to see what the competition is doing.
- 32:36Speaker 4: What are we up against? What's the environment like? There's
- 32:38Speaker 4: so many things you look at with data. And I
- 32:41Speaker 4: love sports. So I play basketball, volleyball, track, swim, tennis. 5'10.
- 32:46Speaker 3: Yes.
- 32:47Speaker 4: I'm a tall girl. But I love sports, even outside
- 32:53Speaker 4: of playing myself. And so combining like what I do,
- 32:56Speaker 4: my trade and analyzing data in sports, that's what really
- 33:00Speaker 4: led me to sports. Want to bet consistently. And I do,
- 33:05Speaker 4: like you said, like you could be like, oh, this
- 33:07Speaker 4: is my favorite player.
- 33:08Speaker 3: He look good.
- 33:09Speaker 4: I'm gonna just bet with him or it does not
- 33:13Speaker 4: work long term. That's not a good strategy. But what
- 33:17Speaker 4: I do is there's a lot of websites out there
- 33:19Speaker 4: and I look at those websites. I analyze data and
- 33:22Speaker 4: I utilize that analysis to pick like my wagers every day.
- 33:27Speaker 1: So do you think, because you know a lot of people,
- 33:29Speaker 1: when they start losing, they're like, oh, man, it's Vegas.
- 33:33Speaker 1: Vegas set it up. Because I do feel, I remember
- 33:35Speaker 1: one year, it was the Super Bowl, and it was
- 33:38Speaker 1: a Baltimore. Ravens was playing. I forgot who they were playing.
- 33:42Speaker 1: But it just looked like the guy intentionally, you know,
- 33:44Speaker 1: threw the game. Mm-hmm. Like, do you think that people
- 33:48Speaker 1: actually have, I know you be winning, right? But aside
- 33:51Speaker 1: from doing, like, analytics and all that stuff. Mm-hmm. Do
- 33:54Speaker 1: is it is it rigged is what I'm asking.
- 33:57Speaker 4: Listen, I definitely think there is a rigged aspect even
- 34:00Speaker 4: before we get to rigging games.
- 34:01Speaker 1: Right.
- 34:02Speaker 4: The casino always has the edge. The house always has
- 34:05Speaker 4: the edge. So, yeah, you look at a sports book
- 34:08Speaker 4: is no different from going to the casino. Nine times
- 34:10Speaker 4: out of 10, you're going to walk out a loser
- 34:12Speaker 4: and it's your duty to find that edge in sports betting.
- 34:16Speaker 4: But if you look at just what's going on in
- 34:18Speaker 4: the industry, you see a lot of players are getting
- 34:21Speaker 4: caught up in these sports betting issues. The FBI is
- 34:24Speaker 4: getting involved. They're facing jail time, all of that stuff.
- 34:27Speaker 4: So if you think about just the people who are
- 34:28Speaker 4: getting caught that we know about, think about the rest
- 34:31Speaker 4: of what's going on.
- 34:33Speaker 1: The players are getting caught. Right.
- 34:35Speaker 3: But what are the organizations?
- 34:37Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 34:37Speaker 4: And you could go on YouTube and you could find
- 34:40Speaker 4: videos of former players talking about like, hey, you know,
- 34:43Speaker 4: it was third quarter timeout and my coach said, you're
- 34:46Speaker 4: done for the game. But they were having a stellar game.
- 34:49Speaker 4: So you got to think about who is calling the shots.
- 34:52Speaker 4: I don't think it's a fair game. But even before
- 34:54Speaker 4: we get into any of that speculation, the house always wins.
- 34:57Speaker 3: So you have to beat that edge.
- 34:59Speaker 1: And that's why it's gambling.
- 35:00Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 35:01Speaker 1: It's gambling. It's a gamble. Yes, it is. What? All right.
- 35:05Speaker 2: Explain to us like we have never opened a betting
- 35:08Speaker 2: app before.
- 35:09Speaker 1: What would we need to do as a beginner? Yes. $ 20.
- 35:13Speaker 3: A little $ 20.
- 35:15Speaker 1: A little sign up sometimes. Yes.
- 35:20Speaker 4: So when you're first opening a book, the thing is
- 35:23Speaker 4: you want to look at the odds. So there's multiple
- 35:25Speaker 4: ways to bet. And the great thing about the sports
- 35:28Speaker 4: betting books now is that you could literally bet on anything.
- 35:32Speaker 4: And then there's futures. There's other type of apps that
- 35:35Speaker 4: you can bet on things even outside the game. So, like,
- 35:38Speaker 4: will there be somebody running across the court at halftime? Like,
- 35:40Speaker 4: there's crazy amount of things that you can bet on.
- 35:43Speaker 3: Yeah, the predictions. Exactly.
- 35:45Speaker 4: But just straight sports betting, I will say they're categorized
- 35:48Speaker 4: in kind of four different categories. So one money line bets.
- 35:52Speaker 4: You're basically betting on which team is going to win.
- 35:55Speaker 4: You have a spread. That's betting on whether a team
- 35:59Speaker 4: will win by so many points or whether they will
- 36:02Speaker 4: lose by so many points. So you see a lot
- 36:04Speaker 4: of guys bet the spread. I feel like men like
- 36:07Speaker 4: love betting a spread. And you have the over under.
- 36:10Speaker 4: So you're betting on how many points a team can
- 36:12Speaker 4: win or lose by. And then you have player props.
- 36:14Speaker 4: So you're betting on performance on a specific player. And
- 36:19Speaker 4: then that could get into a whole bunch of things,
- 36:21Speaker 4: depending on what sport you're looking at. But that's where
- 36:23Speaker 4: you start is what type of bet you're betting. Then
- 36:25Speaker 4: you move into odds.
- 36:26Speaker 3: So what are the odds of a bet?
- 36:28Speaker 4: And odds are basically the sports book telling you which
- 36:34Speaker 4: players which team or which player they feel.
- 36:38Speaker 3: Like will win or lose something. So say we're saying
- 36:41Speaker 3: the Panthers.
- 36:41Speaker 1: But they change the odds while you're looking.
- 36:43Speaker 3: Yes, the odds change all throughout the game.
- 36:46Speaker 4: So say you have the Panthers are playing the Giants.
- 36:49Speaker 4: The Panthers start off as a losing team. They're considered
- 36:52Speaker 4: a plus 100. So that's another thing you have to
- 36:54Speaker 4: think about. When you look at odds, there's negative numbers
- 36:57Speaker 4: and there's positive numbers. The negative numbers mean the house
- 37:00Speaker 4: is betting on that team or that player to hit.
- 37:02Speaker 1: An option.
- 37:03Speaker 3: Yes, exactly.
- 37:05Speaker 1: Leg, a little something. Got it. Okay.
- 37:08Speaker 4: And if the numbers are positive, the house is saying
- 37:10Speaker 4: they predict that team to lose. And then you determine, like,
- 37:13Speaker 4: which one.
- 37:14Speaker 1: If the numbers are positive, they predict that team to lose.
- 37:17Speaker 2: Exactly.
- 37:17Speaker 1: So if it's negative, that means the team's going to win. Yes. Okay.
- 37:21Speaker 1: I'd be doing prize picks a little bit. Oh. OK, backwards.
- 37:26Speaker 3: All right.
- 37:26Speaker 1: Keep going. Yeah.
- 37:32Speaker 4: So that's I mean, that's pretty much primarily what you're
- 37:34Speaker 4: looking at when you first log into a book. And
- 37:38Speaker 4: then from there, you're determining, are you going to do
- 37:39Speaker 4: a straight bet? Are you going to do a parlay like.
- 37:42Speaker 4: How intricate of a bet are you going to do? And,
- 37:45Speaker 4: you know, that determines your odds and your probability of winning.
- 37:49Speaker 1: So what sports do you usually do? Because back in
- 37:51Speaker 1: the day, I used to do baseball a little bit
- 37:53Speaker 1: and I used to be winning, like, but I would
- 37:54Speaker 1: never bet like big on sports betting. But baseball to me,
- 37:59Speaker 1: for some reason, it's like it was just easier to
- 38:02Speaker 1: predict sports. who's going to win. That's good.
- 38:04Speaker 3: Okay, you were doing your thing then if you thought
- 38:06Speaker 3: baseball was the easiest.
- 38:07Speaker 1: Yeah, so who do you, I mean, what type of
- 38:09Speaker 1: sports do you usually bet on? Football. So I do
- 38:12Speaker 1: bet on football.
- 38:12Speaker 4: It's not my number one sport though. Basketball is my
- 38:15Speaker 4: number one sport. NBA, then WNBA. I will bet on football,
- 38:21Speaker 4: but I typically like betting on football towards the end
- 38:24Speaker 4: of the season. And that's because players have, within their packages,
- 38:29Speaker 4: their salaries and everything, they'll have incentives. So if they
- 38:34Speaker 4: get a certain amount of yards, certain amount of touchdowns,
- 38:36Speaker 4: things like that. So when you look at towards the
- 38:38Speaker 4: end of the season, they have a motive to want
- 38:40Speaker 4: to get these yards or these touchdowns or whatever, because
- 38:43Speaker 4: they're actually going to get paid. So that's when I
- 38:46Speaker 4: typically bet football. Outside of that, I bet on tennis
- 38:49Speaker 4: at times. Sometimes golf tournaments are pretty good.
- 38:53Speaker 3: And then, like you said, baseball.
- 38:55Speaker 4: A lot of people love betting on baseball because of
- 38:58Speaker 4: home runs.
- 38:59Speaker 3: The odds are so big.
- 39:00Speaker 4: Everyone dreams of winning that crazy big parlay that'll change
- 39:04Speaker 4: their lives. And you think one good hit and you
- 39:06Speaker 4: could be there, you know? So, yeah, I would say
- 39:09Speaker 4: those are my main sports.
- 39:10Speaker 2: So, still, with my $ 25, I mean, went up $ 5,
- 39:14Speaker 2: would I go, like, get on DraftKings or where would
- 39:17Speaker 2: I go? Like, talk to me like I don't know shit.
- 39:20Speaker 1: Okay.
- 39:21Speaker 3: So, sports books.
- 39:23Speaker 4: All sports books are not created equal, and every sports
- 39:27Speaker 4: book determines their own odds. So you can look at DraftKings,
- 39:32Speaker 4: for instance, and then FanDuel and their odds will be different.
- 39:35Speaker 4: It could be slightly different or it could be a
- 39:37Speaker 4: greater difference. And that's what you'll look for to kind
- 39:40Speaker 4: of find what we call like plus EV. That's value
- 39:44Speaker 4: in a pick. Some sports book will price stuff lower
- 39:48Speaker 4: or higher and you can utilize all these different sports
- 39:51Speaker 4: books to find your edge. I would say my favorite
- 39:54Speaker 4: sports books are DraftKings. Shout out Ryan Florio, my VIP host.
- 40:01Speaker 4: Followed by Draft, I would say Fanatics, Vandal, BetMGM. You
- 40:08Speaker 4: could just continue to go down the line of the
- 40:10Speaker 4: sports books.
- 40:11Speaker 3: And you can utilize an app.
- 40:14Speaker 4: There's various apps on the like out there. The one
- 40:18Speaker 4: that I use mostly is pick it. And they will
- 40:21Speaker 4: tell you what the line is across multiple sportsbooks. So
- 40:24Speaker 4: you can determine, like, who has the best lines. But
- 40:27Speaker 4: going back to the reason why DraftKings is my favorite
- 40:30Speaker 4: is because they have what's called, like, player protections against injuries.
- 40:34Speaker 4: So if a player gets hurt in the first half
- 40:36Speaker 4: of the game, they'll void the bet for you.
- 40:38Speaker 1: Oh, nice. You know?
- 40:39Speaker 4: And that's something you have to think about when you're
- 40:41Speaker 4: in sports. Yeah, because I feel like sports, they probably.
- 40:45Speaker 1: Supposedly, like, fake this injury and know most people were
- 40:49Speaker 1: betting on this thing. Yeah, so that's good.
- 40:51Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 40:53Speaker 1: What book is that?
- 40:54Speaker 3: DraftKings.
- 40:55Speaker 1: Oh, okay. Yep.
- 40:56Speaker 4: And Fanatics has that same type of protection.
- 40:58Speaker 3: FanDuel has a protection, but... they call it like an insurance.
- 41:02Speaker 4: Sometimes you have to pay a little premium to get
- 41:04Speaker 4: it insured and, or it'll be like a boost that
- 41:07Speaker 4: only applies to one bet that you're placing for that day.
- 41:09Speaker 3: Um, just in.
- 41:11Speaker 4: My like career of sports betting draft, uh, sorry. Fan
- 41:15Speaker 4: duel is like the worst when it comes to voiding
- 41:18Speaker 4: things that happen.
- 41:19Speaker 3: So yeah.
- 41:21Speaker 2: Like, so I feel like I logged into draft Kings
- 41:23Speaker 2: after I saw you getting all that money.
- 41:25Speaker 1: I was like, Oh, let me see what the fuck
- 41:27Speaker 1: going on.
- 41:28Speaker 2: And I think they gave me $ 40. Is that typical
- 41:32Speaker 2: where they start out like, here go a little bit
- 41:34Speaker 2: of money to play with?
- 41:35Speaker 3: Yeah, sometimes it is.
- 41:36Speaker 4: You can sign up and you can get a bonus
- 41:41Speaker 4: if you sign up under someone's code or even just
- 41:42Speaker 4: by yourself. They'll do deposit bonuses sometimes. So like this
- 41:46Speaker 4: week I had a $ 500 deposit bonus. If I deposited $ 500,
- 41:48Speaker 4: they would match me 100% and I would get $ 500.
- 41:50Speaker 3: And you can think of that as like, Kind of
- 41:57Speaker 3: free money to make bets. You can't withdraw it.
- 41:59Speaker 1: That's what I was about to ask.
- 42:00Speaker 2: Could I put the money in there?
- 42:04Speaker 1: I'm over $ 1, 000. Ain't this shit. No, okay. Damn. No,
- 42:08Speaker 1: you got to play it.
- 42:12Speaker 4: And each book's bonuses look different, too. So on DraftKings,
- 42:16Speaker 4: they'll break it down and give it to you in increments.
- 42:18Speaker 3: So maybe.
- 42:19Speaker 4: Say I got $ 500, they'll break it down into 50s
- 42:22Speaker 4: and I will have to apply a $ 50 bet to
- 42:24Speaker 4: a bonus. Other books like FanDuel and Fanatics, you can
- 42:27Speaker 4: determine how much of your bonus you're going to.
- 42:29Speaker 3: Use on each individual bet.
- 42:30Speaker 4: They give you a little bit more opportunity to determine
- 42:34Speaker 4: how you utilize it.
- 42:35Speaker 3: So... It's still good, though.
- 42:37Speaker 1: You got one.
- 42:38Speaker 3: I hope you utilize it.
- 42:39Speaker 2: That $ 40 still sitting there.
- 42:41Speaker 1: Do they take it away?
- 42:42Speaker 2: Sometimes they do. It's probably gone.
- 42:44Speaker 1: It's probably gone. Yeah, because most of them is like
- 42:46Speaker 1: a deposit bonus. Yeah. Or it might be, if it's
- 42:50Speaker 1: a sign-up bonus, it might be permanent. Maybe.
- 42:52Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 42:53Speaker 1: I want to talk about the psychology of this shit.
- 42:56Speaker 1: Because like I said, I do option trading. And It's similar.
- 42:59Speaker 3: I think so. Psychologically, it's similar.
- 43:02Speaker 1: In many days, I've been in my fucking car screaming.
- 43:05Speaker 1: You ever had one of those days?
- 43:07Speaker 3: Oh, absolutely.
- 43:08Speaker 1: Girl, what?
- 43:09Speaker 3: What's your biggest bet that I've won or that I've placed?
- 43:13Speaker 1: That you've placed. Placed?
- 43:16Speaker 3: I would say Olympics, men's basketball, U.S. team.
- 43:23Speaker 4: We were down going into the fourth quarter. So I'm
- 43:26Speaker 4: placing a live bet. the men's team had never lost,
- 43:31Speaker 4: I want to say like never lost a championship game
- 43:35Speaker 4: in the Olympics or like the odds were they should win.
- 43:39Speaker 3: They were down though.
- 43:40Speaker 4: But if you think you're on the team, you got
- 43:41Speaker 4: LeBron on the team, Steph Curry, like.
- 43:45Speaker 3: You have so many superstars.
- 43:46Speaker 4: And I'm like the probability of them losing this game
- 43:51Speaker 4: in the Olympics, like.
- 43:53Speaker 3: Nah, I'm going to bet on the U.S. So yeah.
- 43:56Speaker 4: In that moment, I put up like 2,000 on the
- 43:59Speaker 4: spread for them to win by like one point.
- 44:03Speaker 3: It came down to the very end.
- 44:05Speaker 4: It was a sweat. So what we call in sports
- 44:07Speaker 4: betting is a sweat. Like you sweating to the end
- 44:10Speaker 4: of the game. But they did win the game. So
- 44:14Speaker 4: I would say I'm typically more of a parlay type
- 44:18Speaker 4: of girl. That's why I won the bulk of my money.
- 44:21Speaker 4: So that was a rare occasion for me to put
- 44:23Speaker 4: $ 2, 000 up on something.
- 44:25Speaker 2: And then how much did you walk away with?
- 44:28Speaker 4: So that one was, yeah, that was just like a
- 44:31Speaker 4: get what you put up type of thing. So I
- 44:33Speaker 4: think the odds were probably like a negative $ 110. So
- 44:36Speaker 4: I got back a little less than $ 1, 000. So it
- 44:38Speaker 4: was just like a double my money type of situation.
- 44:41Speaker 2: So what is a parlay exactly? You were just saying
- 44:43Speaker 2: that's what you like. Because I always hear people like,
- 44:45Speaker 2: my parlay ain't hit. So I can't pay your rent
- 44:48Speaker 2: this month.
- 44:49Speaker 3: Right.
- 44:50Speaker 1: What is it?
- 44:51Speaker 4: So a parlay basically is one ticket that houses multiple wagers.
- 44:57Speaker 4: So you have multiple picks, two or more on one bet,
- 45:01Speaker 4: and you need both of them to win for you
- 45:03Speaker 4: to win. If you lose one leg, you're a loser.
- 45:07Speaker 4: So a lot of people get caught up in betting parlays. Obviously,
- 45:11Speaker 4: the odds are a lot riskier once you put multiple
- 45:15Speaker 4: picks in a slip. But the positive side of that
- 45:19Speaker 4: is that the reward could be a lot greater.
- 45:21Speaker 1: Mm-hmm.
- 45:23Speaker 4: For instance, you could put up $ 10 and win $ 1, 000,
- 45:25Speaker 4: you know? Whereas if you just bet on one thing,
- 45:28Speaker 4: you would put up that $ 10 to hopefully win $ 10.
- 45:31Speaker 4: So a lot of people get caught up in parlays
- 45:33Speaker 4: because it's just the opportunity to win a lot of money.
- 45:35Speaker 1: Do you do parlays mostly? All right.
- 45:37Speaker 3: Primarily. I do parlays.
- 45:40Speaker 4: But I do straight bets too. I'll do short parlays.
- 45:45Speaker 4: Sometimes I'll do longer parlays. But I'm never the type
- 45:47Speaker 4: to have a 20-leg parlay.
- 45:50Speaker 3: Just the odds of winning that.
- 45:51Speaker 1: 20 different games?
- 45:52Speaker 4: Yeah, or 20 different games or 20 different player props.
- 45:55Speaker 4: The odds are just so, like, ridiculous. So I just
- 45:59Speaker 4: kind of, I avoid that. But a good three.
- 46:01Speaker 3: To four leg parlay, that's, like, my go-to.
- 46:04Speaker 1: Okay, three to four leg. Yep. Writing this down. Okay,
- 46:08Speaker 1: we're talking about, let me see. Okay, you like to
- 46:10Speaker 1: do basketball. Like, what are the main things that you
- 46:13Speaker 1: look at? Like, what are you analyzing to determine... Who
- 46:17Speaker 1: are you going to bet on? What team? What player?
- 46:19Speaker 1: You know? What's the top things you're analyzing?
- 46:23Speaker 4: So I typically do player props. And when I look
- 46:27Speaker 4: at that, if you watch any basketball game, when they
- 46:30Speaker 4: interview someone either during the game, after the game, a
- 46:33Speaker 4: lot of the players will say, I'm taking what the
- 46:36Speaker 4: defense is giving me. Everything is centered around what the
- 46:39Speaker 4: defense is going to give up.
- 46:40Speaker 3: Mm-hmm.
- 46:41Speaker 4: The first part of my analytics starts at looking at
- 46:44Speaker 4: the defensive matchups between each team. From there, I'm determining, like,
- 46:49Speaker 4: does this team give up a lot of three-pointers to
- 46:51Speaker 4: point guards.
- 46:52Speaker 3: Or to fours?
- 46:52Speaker 4: Does this team play horribly in the paint? Are they
- 46:55Speaker 4: not good at guarding? I'll look at that to see
- 46:58Speaker 4: what type of defense it is. And then from there,
- 47:00Speaker 4: determine which player over-indexes on their prop. So, for instance,
- 47:05Speaker 4: we're in WNBA season. Look at Angel Reese. You know,
- 47:09Speaker 4: phenomenal player.
- 47:10Speaker 1: Yes. Hey, girl.
- 47:14Speaker 4: She is, like, great player. She gets rebounds often, right?
- 47:19Speaker 4: So I'll look and see what team she's playing. Do
- 47:21Speaker 4: they give up a lot of rebounds? Is she going
- 47:23Speaker 4: to be good at, you know, getting offensive rebounds? Things
- 47:26Speaker 4: of that nature. And then that's how I typically will determine, yeah,
- 47:31Speaker 4: what I'm picking. And then also look at performance. Like,
- 47:34Speaker 4: how is this player playing over the past few games,
- 47:36Speaker 4: you know, this season, right? you can look at those
- 47:39Speaker 4: different stats and then kind of determine too.
- 47:41Speaker 2: So how much time would you say that you put
- 47:43Speaker 2: into this in a week?
- 47:46Speaker 1: Okay. Research, right? Yeah. Cause you sound like a liar.
- 47:49Speaker 1: It's more than looking at dick. You got to actually
- 47:52Speaker 1: spend some time with this. Probability and statistics. Yeah. If
- 47:55Speaker 1: you hated that in school, don't try it.
- 47:59Speaker 4: So, like Tammy was saying earlier, she saw I was
- 48:02Speaker 4: constantly posting on Instagram, you know, my wins or posting,
- 48:06Speaker 4: you know, bets before games. Last year, I was so dedicated. Like,
- 48:12Speaker 4: I'm spending minimum three to four hours a day researching,
- 48:16Speaker 4: looking at data, determining, like, what. And at that time,
- 48:19Speaker 4: when I was really doing heavy research, I was in
- 48:23Speaker 4: MLB season.
- 48:24Speaker 2: Mm-hmm.
- 48:25Speaker 3: MLB, money over bitches?
- 48:27Speaker 1: Look, look. I like that.
- 48:32Speaker 4: Like, you mentioned earlier that MLB, like, you love betting on,
- 48:37Speaker 4: you were pretty good betting on baseball.
- 48:38Speaker 3: Baseball is one of the hardest sports to bet on.
- 48:40Speaker 1: You think so?
- 48:41Speaker 3: Yes.
- 48:42Speaker 4: And that's simply because baseball is a very hard sport
- 48:45Speaker 4: to play in.
- 48:46Speaker 1: Yeah, it's boring as fuck too. So I would be
- 48:48Speaker 1: watching baseball games. Especially when you there. I know. What happened?
- 48:54Speaker 1: It's like 30 minutes of silence and then all of
- 48:57Speaker 1: a sudden, let me get a Frank.
- 48:58Speaker 2: Shit, let me get a hot dog out of this
- 49:00Speaker 2: bitch because I can't see them motherfuckers way down there.
- 49:03Speaker 3: Listen, I'm at the Atlanta Braves game getting laid.
- 49:06Speaker 1: Because what else is there to do?
- 49:08Speaker 3: I'm always getting a little sweet.
- 49:09Speaker 1: And they too quiet, man. It's cool. I used to
- 49:12Speaker 1: live in St. Louis and the stadium. Yeah. And the
- 49:14Speaker 1: year I moved there, the St. Louis, what's the team?
- 49:19Speaker 3: St. Louis Cardinals. Cardinals.
- 49:20Speaker 1: The Cardinals, they won. And the building I worked in
- 49:24Speaker 1: was like right across the street from the stadium. I'm like,
- 49:26Speaker 1: white people do not work. Like, how the fuck y'all
- 49:29Speaker 1: and y'all kids here?
- 49:30Speaker 6: Right.
- 49:31Speaker 1: In the middle of the day.
- 49:32Speaker 3: Yeah, middle of the day game.
- 49:33Speaker 1: In the middle of the week. Yes, 12 o'clock games. Like,
- 49:35Speaker 1: they letting out, you know, how?
- 49:38Speaker 3: Listen, so I used to live in Cincinnati for a
- 49:40Speaker 3: little bit.
- 49:42Speaker 4: They're working with P & G. The headquarters is right
- 49:45Speaker 4: near the Reds stadium. So we used to go, like,
- 49:49Speaker 4: middle of the day games for, like, a little team building.
- 49:51Speaker 1: Oh, nice.
- 49:52Speaker 3: Yeah, the games, couple beers, you know.
- 49:54Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 49:55Speaker 3: In the vibe. But anyways, yes, they be at the
- 49:57Speaker 3: games in the middle of the day.
- 49:59Speaker 2: So, all right. If I wanted to get started this
- 50:02Speaker 2: week or next week. Okay. What should I start with?
- 50:06Speaker 1: Like.
- 50:06Speaker 2: $ 50, $ 100, what's a safe way to start? Like, where
- 50:10Speaker 2: I'm not, like, calling you, like, bitch, I ain't got
- 50:13Speaker 2: no money.
- 50:13Speaker 1: For my flight, bitch. You can't be like that, though. Like,
- 50:15Speaker 1: you really got to lose to win. I feel like
- 50:17Speaker 1: when you betting anytime, like, you got to get used
- 50:20Speaker 1: to lose.
- 50:20Speaker 2: When I go to Vegas, I be at the fucking
- 50:24Speaker 2: nickel machine.
- 50:25Speaker 1: That's a lot, bitch. You been getting on the pennies.
- 50:29Speaker 1: They got penny machines? Yes.
- 50:30Speaker 3: Oh, yes.
- 50:31Speaker 1: See, because I just don't want to lose no money.
- 50:33Speaker 2: And after I'm out of $ 20, I'll be like, yeah,
- 50:35Speaker 2: that's it for me.
- 50:36Speaker 1: Listen, okay. I'm getting bad at walking away after I
- 50:39Speaker 1: win because I be like, oh, I can squeeze a
- 50:41Speaker 1: little bit.
- 50:41Speaker 4: That's what you have to do. That's the psychological part
- 50:43Speaker 4: of it. But what I will say, people hit me
- 50:46Speaker 4: up all the time.
- 50:47Speaker 3: Like, I want to win.
- 50:48Speaker 1: I see you win.
- 50:49Speaker 4: And I'm like, are you really ready to be locked in?
- 50:52Speaker 3: If you're not, don't start.
- 50:53Speaker 4: Like, Save yourself the heartache because you're going to lose.
- 50:59Speaker 3: You're going to be okay with losing.
- 51:02Speaker 1: Right.
- 51:02Speaker 4: And you can be mentally strained. Don't bet what you
- 51:05Speaker 4: can't lose. I say, if you say, okay, I have $ 100.
- 51:07Speaker 4: I'm going to start today. I would say, okay, Tammy,
- 51:10Speaker 4: that $ 100, think of it in your.
- 51:12Speaker 3: Mind that it's gone. You can't even think that you're
- 51:15Speaker 3: going to bank it, right?
- 51:17Speaker 4: But when you determine your unit size, so that's what
- 51:20Speaker 4: we call unit size and kind of the community, right?
- 51:23Speaker 3: Your unit size is based on what you can lose.
- 51:26Speaker 2: Can afford to lose.
- 51:27Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 51:29Speaker 3: Typically, I would say.
- 51:29Speaker 2: So, ladies, don't bet the rent starting now.
- 51:32Speaker 3: Do not bet your rent, baby.
- 51:33Speaker 4: Yeah, because.
- 51:34Speaker 2: Okay?
- 51:34Speaker 1: And I think also you shouldn't do any type of
- 51:37Speaker 1: betting if you're in distress about money also.
- 51:40Speaker 4: Right.
- 51:40Speaker 1: I saw this article that said when people's cars get towed,
- 51:43Speaker 1: like most of the repos, their car be full of
- 51:45Speaker 1: like cigarettes and lottery tickets. Yes. Yeah. So, people like
- 51:49Speaker 1: be trying to hit... Like, this God gonna give it
- 51:52Speaker 1: to me. No, bitch. It's not that today.
- 51:55Speaker 4: And if you meet anybody who's like, really rich, wealthy. Like,
- 51:59Speaker 4: the lotto is like a poor man's game. The odds
- 52:01Speaker 4: are against you. Same thing if you kind of think
- 52:04Speaker 4: about sports betting.
- 52:05Speaker 2: But Drake just did a, he hit a max win recently.
- 52:07Speaker 1: Y'all saw that? He hit real big.
- 52:10Speaker 3: Drake is getting paid from them companies, girl.
- 52:12Speaker 1: Oh, is that fake? It's fake. What was the thing
- 52:15Speaker 1: he put in one of the songs recently? He was like,
- 52:19Speaker 1: she betting on trying to come up off of something.
- 52:22Speaker 1: It's like Polymarket.
- 52:24Speaker 3: Oh, yes. Polymarket.
- 52:25Speaker 1: Yes. Yes. Now, what's that?
- 52:26Speaker 4: Our predictions website. So you're... And you could bet on
- 52:29Speaker 4: anything on Polymarket. You could bet on like, oh, is
- 52:31Speaker 4: the president going to stumble over his words in this speech?
- 52:34Speaker 3: Weird shit. Anything.
- 52:36Speaker 1: Oh, that's where I need to be at. And, you know,
- 52:39Speaker 1: people manipulate.
- 52:40Speaker 4: manipulate every market you see like we mentioned earlier players
- 52:43Speaker 4: can manipulate the game they could go out and do
- 52:45Speaker 4: things even with um i think somebody recently was arrested
- 52:49Speaker 4: by the fbi who had some back-end information about the
- 52:52Speaker 4: government and was betting on that on a poly market
- 52:57Speaker 4: got arrested because they found out it was kind of
- 52:59Speaker 4: like insider trading you you know that's illegal.
- 53:02Speaker 2: So is there some type of insider trading that comes
- 53:04Speaker 2: with sports betting?
- 53:05Speaker 1: Absolutely. Yeah, that's a lot of sports. The players, that's
- 53:08Speaker 1: insider trading.
- 53:09Speaker 3: Or it can extend further than the players, like a coach.
- 53:12Speaker 4: Say a coach knows that a player has not been
- 53:16Speaker 4: disqualified from playing a game. They haven't announced it. Teams
- 53:18Speaker 4: announce every game. who is suspected to play, who may
- 53:23Speaker 4: not play. They have a certain deadline during the day
- 53:26Speaker 4: on when they have to say if this player is
- 53:27Speaker 4: not playing or not. Say a coach knows that this
- 53:30Speaker 4: player is not going to play. They just haven't announced
- 53:32Speaker 4: it yet, but they still tell all their homies, like,
- 53:34Speaker 4: go ahead and bet the under or like, go ahead
- 53:36Speaker 4: and bet on this player. They're going to start because
- 53:39Speaker 4: such and such is not going to play today.
- 53:41Speaker 3: That's inside trading. That's illegal.
- 53:44Speaker 1: Yeah. Do you post all your winnings or do you
- 53:47Speaker 1: ever post like the losing on social media? Yeah, absolutely.
- 53:51Speaker 3: I have, yeah.
- 53:53Speaker 4: Especially if I post pregame, like, hey, this is what
- 53:55Speaker 4: I'm telling or whatever, I will post, like, yeah, you know,
- 53:59Speaker 4: this was a sweat or, hey, it was a hook. Like,
- 54:02Speaker 4: a hook is a player almost getting to their line.
- 54:05Speaker 4: So say a player's line is at 13.5 points, they
- 54:09Speaker 4: come in and only get 13 points.
- 54:11Speaker 3: So I feel like it's a pretty good bet.
- 54:14Speaker 4: Like, it was a good read. They just didn't go over, right?
- 54:16Speaker 4: And that's another thing. You could bet over and unders.
- 54:20Speaker 4: I think unders are cursed. I never bet under. I
- 54:24Speaker 4: never bet puts, basically. Right.
- 54:26Speaker 1: No, I even, you're right. I am always like positive thinking, right?
- 54:30Speaker 1: So I always just do calls. Like when I do
- 54:32Speaker 1: a fucking put, and I did eat a lot this
- 54:35Speaker 1: last couple months off Apple, the last two months. But
- 54:38Speaker 1: normally I just wait for calls because I don't do
- 54:41Speaker 1: well with puts. Me either. What's a put? A put
- 54:43Speaker 1: is like you're betting that it's going down. So a
- 54:46Speaker 1: put with sports, you're betting.
- 54:48Speaker 3: It's an under.
- 54:49Speaker 1: Yeah. Okay.
- 54:50Speaker 4: So you're betting on them not to perform well. I
- 54:52Speaker 4: don't like doing that because I'm really a good, like,
- 54:54Speaker 4: I'm a sports fan. I want to see, if I'm
- 54:56Speaker 4: betting on a player, I want to see you ball out. Like,
- 54:58Speaker 4: I don't want to bet on you underperforming.
- 55:00Speaker 1: Losing, right.
- 55:01Speaker 4: And then it's like, what makes me mad too with
- 55:03Speaker 4: betting unders is like, if we're watching a game and
- 55:06Speaker 4: the player's doing really well, the game could still be.
- 55:08Speaker 3: Going on and you done already lost your bet.
- 55:10Speaker 1: Right.
- 55:11Speaker 3: I don't like that.
- 55:11Speaker 2: And if you're watching somebody do good and you're mad
- 55:13Speaker 2: about it.
- 55:14Speaker 1: Like, do bad, nigga! Yeah, right.
- 55:16Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 55:18Speaker 1: Yeah I don't like that shit for real man but
- 55:20Speaker 1: I stopped I used to post like my winnings and
- 55:22Speaker 1: stuff like that I never really post losing because it
- 55:24Speaker 1: would be few and far between I would post like
- 55:27Speaker 1: if I would say like on my story like y'all
- 55:29Speaker 1: better get on this shit and then I would post
- 55:31Speaker 1: my winnings I stopped doing that because I just feel
- 55:33Speaker 1: like I feel like when I started doing that I
- 55:36Speaker 1: started losing Like, people looking at it, like, not wanting
- 55:40Speaker 1: you to fucking win. Yeah, it's a superstition. Yes, I'm like,
- 55:44Speaker 1: I'm not even telling people about, I used to talk
- 55:46Speaker 1: about options a lot, right? And I've been... Now I'm
- 55:49Speaker 1: talking about this shit again. Like, I've been winning. So
- 55:52Speaker 1: now I'm like, I ain't telling people about shit no more.
- 55:54Speaker 1: Fuck y'all niggas.
- 55:55Speaker 2: But I feel like those are the stuff that you
- 55:56Speaker 2: were really sharing. Like, she said, listen, if you're into this,
- 55:59Speaker 2: tell me so I can put you in my close friends.
- 56:01Speaker 1: Yes. Right. And that's where the information was, like, coming from.
- 56:05Speaker 2: It wasn't, like, for everybody.
- 56:06Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 56:07Speaker 4: And people, you know, gambling is not something that everybody
- 56:11Speaker 4: is fond of either. So I got to think about that. Like,
- 56:14Speaker 4: my personal brand is bigger than sports betting.
- 56:17Speaker 1: So.
- 56:18Speaker 4: You know, like Tammy said, I'll put my close friends and,
- 56:21Speaker 4: you know, here's the people here. I did launch a
- 56:23Speaker 4: subscription on Instagram for a little bit where people could
- 56:25Speaker 4: like purchase and get my pics. I post a lot
- 56:28Speaker 4: on threads. Well, not recently, but I typically post on there.
- 56:32Speaker 3: There's a big community.
- 56:33Speaker 4: If you look on X, there's a big community of
- 56:35Speaker 4: what we call cappers. So a professional sports that are
- 56:38Speaker 4: a person who sells or gives out pics are called cappers.
- 56:43Speaker 3: Um, so I would do that.
- 56:44Speaker 4: But like you said, sometimes like people really have that
- 56:47Speaker 4: superstition of like, if I post it beforehand, it's not
- 56:50Speaker 4: going to hit.
- 56:50Speaker 3: Cause everybody, you know, whose energy.
- 56:52Speaker 1: Even if you push, even if you posting your winnings,
- 56:54Speaker 1: I just feel like it's like the evil, it's too
- 56:56Speaker 1: many evil eyes looking at your shit. You know what
- 56:59Speaker 1: I'm saying? And I felt that way sometimes too.
- 57:02Speaker 4: Um, but what I would say my most notable public
- 57:05Speaker 4: post pregame was last year, NBA playoffs, Indiana was playing, um,
- 57:13Speaker 4: I can't recall who they were playing against right now,
- 57:15Speaker 4: but it was, like, before the championship. I put up
- 57:20Speaker 4: $ 200 on, like, a six-leg parlay, and it hit for, like.
- 57:27Speaker 3: $ 10, 500 or something. Wow. That's when my Thursday count blew up.
- 57:31Speaker 2: $ 200, and it turned into $ 10, 500?
- 57:32Speaker 1: Yes, yes.
- 57:33Speaker 2: Let me go ahead and pay for your subscription.
- 57:36Speaker 1: See? And that, and that's, and then now that doesn't
- 57:38Speaker 1: happen for the person. Now they looking at you like,
- 57:41Speaker 1: so I even started doing like a whole curriculum. I
- 57:43Speaker 1: got like a whole, I was wanting to at least
- 57:46Speaker 1: give people the information they can do what they want
- 57:48Speaker 1: to do with it. But then, like, you responsible for
- 57:51Speaker 1: people's mental health at that point. And they fucking lose
- 57:54Speaker 1: because you're going to lose. How do you feel responsible
- 57:55Speaker 1: for it, though? Because they will call your ass, too.
- 57:59Speaker 1: People are going to hit you up. Like, say I
- 58:01Speaker 1: give them a play and the way I did it
- 58:04Speaker 1: and the time I did it. They understand it's gambling.
- 58:07Speaker 2: People you're not psyching a lot once they lose they.
- 58:10Speaker 1: No longer even consider that exactly yes that's retarded oh
- 58:14Speaker 1: i'm sorry can i say that yes that shit is
- 58:17Speaker 1: fucking retarded but people will blink i got a gamble
- 58:21Speaker 1: that's what gamble is i got a friend right now
- 58:23Speaker 1: and i know he was a millionaire on p i
- 58:25Speaker 1: don't know what his status is now but at the
- 58:27Speaker 1: time he was a millionaire on paper i really feel
- 58:30Speaker 1: like the reason why he and i no longer speak
- 58:33Speaker 1: is because he invested in a particular EV company, that's
- 58:36Speaker 1: the electric cars, and the shit went under. Like, they
- 58:39Speaker 1: no longer even own NASDAQ and shit like that. The
- 58:42Speaker 1: shit went under. He literally put a million dollars in,
- 58:46Speaker 1: and the shit went down the next day. Prior to
- 58:50Speaker 1: me telling him, like, yeah, I be trading, da-da-da-da-da, he
- 58:53Speaker 1: had a broker. And I'm like, why you got a broker? Like,
- 58:55Speaker 1: you can study this shit like... He was winning that
- 58:57Speaker 1: whole fucking year. So he got like real cocky with it.
- 59:01Speaker 1: I really think subconsciously he blames me for his loss.
- 59:05Speaker 3: He might.
- 59:06Speaker 1: Partly. Why? We don't talk no more. This is like
- 59:09Speaker 1: one of my good friends. He lost a billion dollars.
- 59:10Speaker 1: He might not be talking to nobody. I know nobody
- 59:12Speaker 1: who can help, right? My nigger. He might take everybody off.
- 59:17Speaker 1: And he's an MD though. He put a lot of
- 59:20Speaker 1: money and then he also borrowed money. That's an issue.
- 59:25Speaker 3: Borrowing money.
- 59:26Speaker 1: Something around a margin. Yeah. No.
- 59:29Speaker 4: And that's the same with the stock market. If you're
- 59:31Speaker 4: not really in a long-term play, because, like, I'm on
- 59:33Speaker 4: Robin Hood. I used to trade options, too, in the
- 59:36Speaker 4: height of COVID. Got kind of caught up, I'm not
- 59:39Speaker 4: going to lie, and got big-headed about it.
- 59:42Speaker 6: And.
- 59:44Speaker 4: I got to a point, though, I think that's the
- 59:45Speaker 4: healthy balance with anybody in stocks, anybody sports betting or whatever.
- 59:49Speaker 3: You have to know when you need to step back.
- 59:51Speaker 4: Chasing wins is what's going to make you broke and
- 59:56Speaker 4: lose your mind.
- 59:56Speaker 3: You cannot chase a win.
- 59:58Speaker 1: Bitch, let me tell y'all, I'm going to be honest, y'all.
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: I got a whole job now because I blew my
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: fucking brokerage account up last year. Like the last two years.
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: I've been doing good now, but... Not last year, the
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: year before last, 2024? Four. So really, the job watching. Bitch,
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: I'm working to fucking build my brokerage back up. Fuck
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: this shit. Yeah, she happens. Yeah, like for real. But
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: I didn't like, I wasn't about to slit my wrist
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: about it. You're going to win some, you're going to
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: lose some. And then the thing is, you got to
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: have your rules and you have to stick to them.
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: Because the minute you deviate outside of what you know
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: is best, That's when you fuck up.
- 1:00:39Speaker 3: Right. Right.
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: Every time.
- 1:00:41Speaker 4: And, like, even this week, I've been sports betting. I've
- 1:00:43Speaker 4: been doing straights because I kind of took a time off.
- 1:00:46Speaker 4: I had a lot of personal stuff going on. And
- 1:00:48Speaker 4: I feel like I'm not the type of sports bettor. Like,
- 1:00:49Speaker 4: if I can't sit down and do my own research,
- 1:00:51Speaker 4: I'm not a sports bettor.
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:00:52Speaker 4: So I haven't had the capacity lately. This week, I'm like,
- 1:00:56Speaker 4: you know, I'm going to build my bank. So you
- 1:00:58Speaker 4: mentioned earlier about, you know, how much do I start with? Mm-hmm.
- 1:01:02Speaker 4: Or like what would be a great bet for me
- 1:01:05Speaker 4: to start with? I would say take a straight bet.
- 1:01:07Speaker 4: You're looking at one wager. You're just trying to double
- 1:01:10Speaker 4: your money and you're trying to build your bank. And
- 1:01:12Speaker 4: then say you start with $ 100. You build it up
- 1:01:15Speaker 4: to $ 500. Take your initial $ 100 profit out or your
- 1:01:19Speaker 4: $ 100 wager out so you're not losing.
- 1:01:21Speaker 3: Right now you're playing with profit. And then you can
- 1:01:23Speaker 3: start getting a little bit riskier.
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:01:26Speaker 3: But you can't when you start.
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: And you can't calculate that money as yours. Like even
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: the wins, right?
- 1:01:31Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: You didn't have that money yesterday. So when you lose it,
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: you can't slit your wrists about it. As long as
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: you still got your initial, like you still won. That's
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: how you have to look at it.
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: So what if I.
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: Don't count the money because it's in there. Let's say
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: I make $ 500. Right.
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: Can I take $ 400 and just keep playing with it?
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: That's the actual smart thing to do. That's the smartest
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: thing to do.
- 1:01:57Speaker 3: Take the gains, yes.
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: Okay. See, people will take that $ 500 and try to
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: turn it to $ 1, 000 and be sick over the whole $ 1, 000,
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: but they still got their $ 100. They're not satisfied with that.
- 1:02:08Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: You know? You got to be satisfied with your initial investment.
- 1:02:11Speaker 4: And that goes to even, too, like last week, I
- 1:02:14Speaker 4: was sports betting in a group chat.
- 1:02:16Speaker 3: I had found a parlay that I liked off of X, and.
- 1:02:21Speaker 4: It got to the point I put up $ 10 to
- 1:02:23Speaker 4: win like $ 1, 500. It got to a point where halfway
- 1:02:27Speaker 4: through the game, I could have cashed out for about $ 550.
- 1:02:29Speaker 3: Off of $ 10. That's 500 times return.
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 1:02:33Speaker 3: You got to think about it like that.
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: Right. I was like, that was psychology. I agree. I
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: was like, nah, baby. All I needed was a couple
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: of rebounds.
- 1:02:41Speaker 3: I'm going to see it through or whatever. Did not
- 1:02:43Speaker 3: win the bet. Yeah.
- 1:02:44Speaker 4: But I'm so used to doing it. Like, I didn't
- 1:02:47Speaker 4: lose any sleep about it.
- 1:02:48Speaker 3: It was $ 10.
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: And then it was just, yeah. Right.
- 1:02:51Speaker 3: It wasn't my money.
- 1:02:51Speaker 4: But the smart thing to do would have been to
- 1:02:54Speaker 4: cash out. Like, you have a 500 times profit.
- 1:02:57Speaker 3: Where can you... Flip your money like that anywhere. Can
- 1:02:59Speaker 3: you hop back in on a bet?
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: Can you hop back in on a bet?
- 1:03:01Speaker 3: Absolutely.
- 1:03:01Speaker 4: I could have took the profit and got back in.
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: Yes.
- 1:03:04Speaker 4: So that is another way that you can make sure
- 1:03:07Speaker 4: that you're leaving with something.
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:03:08Speaker 3: You know.
- 1:03:09Speaker 2: I'm leaving here with something right there, right?
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: No, for real, man. That should have had your ass
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: stressed out.
- 1:03:14Speaker 3: It will. I will say one of the biggest L's.
- 1:03:19Speaker 4: That I took from a cash out, and it's actually
- 1:03:23Speaker 4: pinned in my threads account. It was a four-legged home
- 1:03:27Speaker 4: run parlay last season three of the four legs had
- 1:03:30Speaker 4: hit I think I put up $ 85 my cash out
- 1:03:33Speaker 4: was like $ 13, 000 my total payout though would have been
- 1:03:35Speaker 4: $ 90, 000 I'm I was like I could.
- 1:03:37Speaker 3: Take the $ 13, 000 and run Or I could take the
- 1:03:46Speaker 3: risk and change my life real quick.
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: I'm saying 90,000. I would have real quick.
- 1:03:51Speaker 2: Yeah, I would have risked it.
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: I would have risked it.
- 1:03:53Speaker 3: I decided to risk it.
- 1:03:56Speaker 4: My last leg was Manny Machado, who plays for San
- 1:03:59Speaker 4: Diego Padres.
- 1:04:00Speaker 3: Manny, if you're out there listening to this, why didn't
- 1:04:03Speaker 3: you hold me down that day?
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: He didn't make it.
- 1:04:05Speaker 3: He did not hit a home run.
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: See, dude, you be really mad at that nigga. You
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: could have changed my life, Manny.
- 1:04:12Speaker 6: Right.
- 1:04:13Speaker 3: All you needed was one home run.
- 1:04:15Speaker 4: But anyways, of course, I started telling my homegirls or,
- 1:04:19Speaker 4: you know, I have kind of like a co-ed sports
- 1:04:22Speaker 4: betting group.
- 1:04:23Speaker 3: Everybody's like, you should have took the money. Like, you
- 1:04:24Speaker 3: tripping $ 85, 000 to $ 13, 000, which is very true.
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: They're saying that, but they would have probably done the
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: same thing you did.
- 1:04:31Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, $ 90, 000? Yeah, I'm like, I could really
- 1:04:33Speaker 3: help my mama. I could really do a lot with $ 90, 000.
- 1:04:36Speaker 4: Granted, I could have did a lot with 13, but
- 1:04:38Speaker 4: 90 would have just hit different.
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: So when it didn't hit, that means you didn't get
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: none of it?
- 1:04:43Speaker 4: No, I did not get anything off of that. Like
- 1:04:46Speaker 4: I didn't cash out. However, for that particular bet, I
- 1:04:49Speaker 4: played round robin. So I don't know if you guys
- 1:04:51Speaker 4: are familiar with the round robin term, but basically you
- 1:04:55Speaker 4: can wage your amount and all of the legs don't
- 1:04:58Speaker 4: have to hit for you to win. So if I
- 1:05:01Speaker 4: have a four-leg parlay, I round robin it to three.
- 1:05:04Speaker 4: That means that if three of the four legs hit,
- 1:05:06Speaker 4: I will win something.
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: So you got to pay extra money to do that?
- 1:05:09Speaker 3: Not extra money. It's just a separate bet.
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: Interesting.
- 1:05:12Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:05:13Speaker 3: It's just a separate bet.
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: See, now I might have to do a little research. Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:05:16Speaker 4: Because you won't walk away with the total sum, but
- 1:05:19Speaker 4: you'll walk away with something.
- 1:05:20Speaker 3: So that's what ended up happening.
- 1:05:21Speaker 4: I round robin it in two separate parlays outside of
- 1:05:24Speaker 4: the main parlay. And I still walked away with like
- 1:05:26Speaker 4: $ 7, 000 that night. And I just told myself, like, it.
- 1:05:30Speaker 3: Was meant for me. It was going to be mine.
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: Period.
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: And it was $ 70, 000 off of $ 85?
- 1:05:33Speaker 3: On that, it was less. I think it was like
- 1:05:36Speaker 3: $ 40 or $ 50.
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: Drinks on me, bitch.
- 1:05:41Speaker 3: You know, you up seven grand.
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: So you still, I still would have been happy.
- 1:05:44Speaker 3: I was still happy.
- 1:05:45Speaker 4: Granted, you know, I had my friends in my ear like, girl,
- 1:05:47Speaker 4: you should have cashed out.
- 1:05:49Speaker 3: So I was like, you know what? What's for me
- 1:05:50Speaker 3: is for me. Two days later, I had like a
- 1:05:54Speaker 3: 10-leg hip.
- 1:05:54Speaker 4: Parlay, won $ 16, 000.
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: Oh, see?
- 1:05:58Speaker 3: Up.
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: Up.
- 1:05:59Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:05:59Speaker 3: It was a good week that week. I was like,
- 1:06:01Speaker 3: I'm not going to worry about it.
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: So do you bet every day? Because I know probably
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: the less professional bettors probably be trying to win money
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: every fucking day.
- 1:06:09Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: Professional bettors probably know when to hold them, fold them.
- 1:06:13Speaker 3: Well, actually, I would say most professional bettors bet every
- 1:06:15Speaker 3: single day.
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: Oh, okay.
- 1:06:16Speaker 4: They're looking at lines every day, especially those who sell
- 1:06:19Speaker 4: picks as a capper. People depending on you to drop
- 1:06:23Speaker 4: plays every day. Um, recently I have not been betting
- 1:06:26Speaker 4: every day. That's just cause life is getting in the way.
- 1:06:27Speaker 4: I don't have time to research. Um, at the height,
- 1:06:31Speaker 4: like last year I was betting every single day. psychologically,
- 1:06:35Speaker 4: I don't think that's a good strategy. Especially if you're
- 1:06:38Speaker 4: betting multiple games, a lot of parlays, a lot of
- 1:06:41Speaker 4: bets in, like you're going to get caught up.
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: You got to watch all that shit. Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:06:45Speaker 3: And that's another thing too.
- 1:06:46Speaker 4: So when you're talking about responsible betting, you need to
- 1:06:49Speaker 4: know what you're betting on. You can do that manually
- 1:06:52Speaker 4: and track everything, or you can use an app like
- 1:06:54Speaker 4: pick it, connect all your sports books, And then it will,
- 1:06:59Speaker 4: you know, show your wins and losses across every sports book. So,
- 1:07:02Speaker 4: you know, day to day how much you're profiting or
- 1:07:05Speaker 4: what you're losing and adjust to that. I feel like
- 1:07:08Speaker 4: that's the best thing that you can do if you
- 1:07:10Speaker 4: want to do this often. Because if you could be
- 1:07:13Speaker 4: excited about a win today, but you lost 500 yesterday,
- 1:07:16Speaker 4: what does it really matter?
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: So, yeah. You know, who was that? I know Baltimore
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: and somebody else played last year. Football. It was Baltimore
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: and the Ravens. Was it Ravens last year? Not this January,
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: the year before last.
- 1:07:33Speaker 2: Are you talking about Super Bowl?
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: Yeah, Super Bowl. It was not last year, year before last.
- 1:07:40Speaker 3: The Chiefs year before last, right?
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: I don't remember. But y'all cannot tell me that the
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: Ravens wasn't going to win. And you know how I
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: determined that shit? They didn't win now, first of all.
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: And I bet. I was doing like Germantria, bitch. What
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: is that? Germantria is like some occult shit. Like things
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: are based on everything is associated with a number. Like
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: if I put your name in Germantria, It'll break your name,
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: the letters in your name down to numbers. And then
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: on this particular app I be using, it'll show you
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: like different events, different other people's names, other different.
- 1:08:19Speaker 3: Things, different phrases.
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: Yeah, that's associated with your numbers, right? So all this
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: shit was like matching up with the presidency. All this
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: shit was going, I'm like, man, Raven's going to fucking win.
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: I know, I know, I know.
- 1:08:32Speaker 2: Boo not when not Jumanji Jumanji.
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: But with the baseball shit people base a lot like
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: if you ever looked up Jumanji.
- 1:08:44Speaker 4: I actually won that way too like numerology like you
- 1:08:48Speaker 4: look at the numbers and putting numbers together somebody's birthday
- 1:08:51Speaker 4: paired with like what day of the week it is
- 1:08:53Speaker 4: paired with.
- 1:08:53Speaker 3: The time of day it just be crap.
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: Literally roll that dice baby listen people have all type
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: of ways.
- 1:09:07Speaker 2: Yes facts all right I got one last question for
- 1:09:11Speaker 2: you I'm gonna read it what is the one rule
- 1:09:13Speaker 2: every new sports better should follow before putting any real
- 1:09:16Speaker 2: money on.
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: The game the one magic rule.
- 1:09:20Speaker 4: The one rule I will say is any money that
- 1:09:25Speaker 4: you're putting up count as a loss. Like gambling is
- 1:09:29Speaker 4: a losing game. Can you get lucky?
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: Absolutely.
- 1:09:33Speaker 4: I've gotten lucky plenty of times. But it's a losing game.
- 1:09:38Speaker 4: The house is always going to win. So your duty
- 1:09:41Speaker 4: as a sports bettor is to find the edge.
- 1:09:43Speaker 3: And you can very well do that.
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: But....
- 1:09:47Speaker 3: Don't put your life on the line.
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: Define the edge. The edge. Okay.
- 1:09:52Speaker 4: So when you're looking at an edge, you're looking at, say,
- 1:09:55Speaker 4: a sports book not knowing or not pricing a wager
- 1:10:00Speaker 4: at a certain amount.
- 1:10:02Speaker 3: The edge that I often look at is injury.
- 1:10:04Speaker 4: So I'm following injury reports, what's going on in people's
- 1:10:07Speaker 4: personal lives.
- 1:10:09Speaker 3: All of that, they're human beings. All of that impacts
- 1:10:11Speaker 3: how they're going to show up and play. So if
- 1:10:14Speaker 3: a sports book.
- 1:10:14Speaker 4: Hasn't caught on that this girl over here got an
- 1:10:17Speaker 4: ankle issue and they're still pricing her at her normal line,
- 1:10:20Speaker 4: I'm going to be like, oh, the likelihood of her
- 1:10:22Speaker 4: playing this full game or her, you know, showing up
- 1:10:25Speaker 4: how she usually shows up.
- 1:10:26Speaker 3: Is kind of slim. I'm going to take the edge
- 1:10:28Speaker 3: on this, you know?
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: Got it.
- 1:10:30Speaker 2: Okay, that makes sense.
- 1:10:31Speaker 3: Yeah. Or if you see a player is going to
- 1:10:33Speaker 3: be out.
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: You got to be nosy to win. You got to.
- 1:10:36Speaker 4: You need to see, like, if somebody's sick, they're not
- 1:10:39Speaker 4: playing today, who's going to come in who normally maybe
- 1:10:42Speaker 4: is not a starter, but this is their opportunity to
- 1:10:45Speaker 4: go off.
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:10:46Speaker 3: I'm going to bet on them, you know?
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: So.
- 1:10:49Speaker 2: So it's a lot, y'all.
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: Just stick to the fish tables, bitch.
- 1:10:55Speaker 3: Get back to the pity machine, baby.
- 1:11:01Speaker 2: Taylor, plug all your things. Tell people where to follow you,
- 1:11:04Speaker 2: where to find you. Go ahead, plug yourself in.

- 1:11:45Speaker 2: subscriptions Yeah, so it's actually live now.

- 1:11:54Speaker 4: daily sports picks. Right now, it'll be mainly straight bets.
- 1:11:58Speaker 4: And then as we get into NBA, that's where the
- 1:12:00Speaker 4: real money is made.
- 1:12:01Speaker 2: The big three here today, did you bet on?
- 1:12:03Speaker 3: I did not. I was supposed to go, but you
- 1:12:05Speaker 3: told me to come here at 1230.
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: We got to do this.
- 1:12:10Speaker 3: Yes. Well, thank you so much for joining us.
- 1:12:12Speaker 2: I've been trying to get her here for a long
- 1:12:13Speaker 2: time and then just, I broke my foot.
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: Then all kinds of shit just happened.
- 1:12:17Speaker 2: So it happened when it was supposed to. And now
- 1:12:19Speaker 2: I feel like I need to go ahead and.
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: Roll the dice. Yeah, it was right when it happened.
- 1:12:23Speaker 2: So I had a little hundred dollars so I could
- 1:12:25Speaker 2: put up.
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: Well, thank you, Elizabeth Taylor. You should have told me
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: that in the beginning. I would have preferred that than Caudalie. No,
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: that's the... She couldn't say it. That's the problem. Right,
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: that's the problem, right? She preferred.
- 1:12:37Speaker 2: She couldn't say it.
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: She know how to say Elizabeth. All right, y'all.
- 1:12:42Speaker 3: I'll be back.
- 1:12:42Speaker 4: Listen, I'm going to be back to get into the
- 1:12:44Speaker 4: real nitty-gritty NBA season.
- 1:12:46Speaker 3: We're going to talk real picks.
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: Okay, let's do that. Wait, when does NBA season start?
- 1:12:51Speaker 3: Like in the October preseason.
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: Okay, yeah.
- 1:12:53Speaker 2: Okay, we're going to circle that back because this is
- 1:12:56Speaker 2: some information I feel like the girlies needed to know.
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: And I feel like we should do– do they have like–
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: so like for options, they have like paper trading where
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: you can do like the simulated trading.
- 1:13:06Speaker 3: Do they have that for sports betting?
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: Absolutely. So maybe we do some simulated trades, right, up
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: until basketball season. And let's see if we can... Oh,
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: so a monopoly, basically. Yes. Play money. Yeah, we do
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: some paper trading first.
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: And then come October, we're going to study in the midst. Now,
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: we're going to be studying and we're going to do
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: paper trading. Okay.
- 1:13:31Speaker 5: And then.
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: November, June, and then by when does basketball season end?
- 1:13:36Speaker 3: We're going to really get into it in November. That's
- 1:13:38Speaker 3: when we're really going to start.
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: That start, and then the ends when? Late April. See
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: how much money we can make November, April. Or lose, bitch.
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: I'm saying. No, we winning. No. Psychology, bitch. All right, y'all.
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: How much we going to win? Let me learn about Jumanji.
