- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Mark Simone Show on 710WOR. In for
- 0:05Speaker 1: Mark today, here's Ken Rosado. It's so nice to be
- 0:08Speaker 1: with you on this Thursday before Labor Day. My dear
- 0:12Speaker 1: friend Bill Evans, our meteorologist when I was at Channel 7.
- 0:16Speaker 1: 20 years. Every year at Labor Day, he would say,
- 0:19Speaker 1: and don't forget this, Labor Day. I don't know why
- 0:22Speaker 1: he used to pronounce it that way, but it is
- 0:24Speaker 1: now ingrained that whenever I hear the words Labor Day together,
- 0:28Speaker 1: I have to think of Bill Evans saying Labor Day.
- 0:30Speaker 1: So there you go. Shout out to Bill Evans. And
- 0:32Speaker 1: he's still around. He lives on the east end of
- 0:34Speaker 1: Long Island now. Part-time and part-time in Manhattan still. Good guy.
- 0:38Speaker 2: 800-321-0710.
- 0:41Speaker 1: 800-321-0710. Let's get our busy phones. Joel in Connecticut. Hello, sir.
- 0:46Speaker 1: You are on the air.
- 0:47Speaker 2: Hello, Ken. I'm good to talk to you. I'm a
- 0:51Speaker 2: regular listener. Thank you. And I enjoy your show very much.
- 0:55Speaker 2: I have to say, as a regular listener, I was
- 0:58Speaker 2: really shocked to hear you agree with a 70-year-old male
- 1:03Speaker 2: caller who matter-of-factly claimed that the Jews killed Jesus.
- 1:07Speaker 3: Yes.
- 1:09Speaker 2: He stated that you kind of passively agreed with him.
- 1:13Speaker 1: I must have missed that part of it. I didn't
- 1:14Speaker 1: hear that part.
- 1:16Speaker 2: Oh, yes, it may be here in the back of
- 1:19Speaker 2: my neck stand.
- 1:20Speaker 1: Oh, I'm sorry. I'm going to go back and play
- 1:21Speaker 1: it back. I honestly did not hear that part.
- 1:24Speaker 2: I tell you, that's the oldest. Of course, of course
- 1:29Speaker 2: it is.
- 1:30Speaker 1: Joel, I was a Catholic priest. Believe me, that is
- 1:32Speaker 1: not something that we teach. So I apologize for letting
- 1:36Speaker 1: that pass. Had I heard that, I would have jumped
- 1:38Speaker 1: on that because I would not have let that go.
- 1:42Speaker 1: Let me just publicly say right now that I apologize
- 1:46Speaker 1: if you all heard that, whether you heard it or not,
- 1:48Speaker 1: if that is in fact what was stated, I apologize
- 1:52Speaker 1: because that was not something I heard.
- 1:53Speaker 2: He even sent an email off that day.
- 1:55Speaker 4: I was so upset anyway sorry great day i welcome
- 1:59Speaker 4: your apology and i welcome your validation of the fact
- 2:04Speaker 4: that it was the biggest lie ever concocted and from
- 2:07Speaker 4: that lie springs forth all.
- 2:10Speaker 2: The anti-fascism of course it does of.
- 2:13Speaker 1: Course that's why i would have never let it happen
- 2:15Speaker 1: joel please i apologize i married into a family both
- 2:19Speaker 1: both sides of my family we have we have jews.
- 2:21Speaker 4: In my family there you go we're all mixed Yeah,
- 2:25Speaker 4: we're all mixed.
- 2:25Speaker 2: We're all the same thing, for heaven's sake. It's all
- 2:28Speaker 2: politics other than that.
- 2:29Speaker 1: God made the Jews first, so the Christians can only
- 2:33Speaker 1: lay claim to our religion based on that.
- 2:36Speaker 2: First, you know, don't forget, the first shall be last,
- 2:39Speaker 2: and the meat shall inherit the earth, kid.
- 2:42Speaker 1: Joel, I hope you have the best Labor Day weekend,
- 2:45Speaker 1: my friend. I appreciate you listening and calling. All right?
- 2:48Speaker 1: And again, I'm sorry for upsetting you.
- 2:50Speaker 2: Have a blessed Jewish New Year as well.
- 2:52Speaker 1: Amen.
- 2:52Speaker 2: Amen.
- 2:53Speaker 3: And thank you for that.
- 2:53Speaker 1: Happy New Year. Thank you, Joel. Bye-bye. 800-321-0710. Robert in Westchester.
- 2:59Speaker 1: Good morning, sir.
- 3:01Speaker 3: Good morning. Buongiorno. Come stai?
- 3:04Speaker 1: Molto bene.
- 3:04Speaker 3: Grazie.
- 3:05Speaker 2: Lei? Bene, bene.
- 3:10Speaker 3: So... My discussion today is with the immigrants or the
- 3:15Speaker 3: illegal aliens that are coming into the country and the
- 3:17Speaker 3: left that constantly protects them. If you remember when we
- 3:21Speaker 3: had COVID and they kept on pushing us to get
- 3:27Speaker 3: the COVID shot because they said it's a disease of
- 3:31Speaker 3: the non-vaccinated and you're killing us and all that other stuff. Yet,
- 3:36Speaker 3: just recently, they were talking about the shot for or
- 3:41Speaker 3: the vaccine for the measles. And where do you think
- 3:44Speaker 3: the measles come from? They don't just spring forth from
- 3:48Speaker 3: a river. All of a sudden, all these diseases that
- 3:51Speaker 3: we eradicated decades ago are now starting to reappear.
- 3:55Speaker 1: Robert, you know how many times I've made this argument?
- 3:57Speaker 1: And I'm with you. And especially, you know where the
- 4:00Speaker 1: measles occur more than in any state in the country?
- 4:04Speaker 1: In Texas. And you'd say, ah, it's because of this, that,
- 4:06Speaker 1: the anti-vaxxers. No, because you have more illegal migrants in
- 4:10Speaker 1: Texas than any other state, because it's the first place
- 4:12Speaker 1: they come over to across the river. But if you
- 4:14Speaker 1: bring that up to the medical community, that tends to
- 4:17Speaker 1: be a little more left of center, they will pounce
- 4:19Speaker 1: on you and say, no, it's the individual, like the
- 4:22Speaker 1: religious groups that refuse to be vaccinated. Just all you
- 4:26Speaker 1: have to do is step back and look at the timeline.
- 4:30Speaker 1: When we started getting 10, 20 million illegal migrants, suddenly
- 4:33Speaker 1: we had an increase in measles cases because we don't
- 4:37Speaker 1: know if these people had their shots.
- 4:40Speaker 3: Yeah. All these diseases. How did this all start? I said, well,
- 4:44Speaker 3: what do you think? All these people coming over the
- 4:46Speaker 3: border from all over the world and they don't have
- 4:48Speaker 3: vaccinations like we do. But the point I'm bringing this
- 4:51Speaker 3: up is the Democrats will do anything to pounce on
- 4:54Speaker 3: the right, whether it's Trump, whether it's Bush, whether it
- 4:58Speaker 3: doesn't make a difference. They will find anything to throw
- 5:02Speaker 3: dirt at us. And now what they're doing, Robert Kennedy,
- 5:05Speaker 3: because they're saying, listen, just. You know, use common sense
- 5:09Speaker 3: or use some logic when administering vaccinations to your kids. Oh,
- 5:13Speaker 3: you're anti-vaccine. He's not saying that. He never said that.
- 5:17Speaker 3: Just like this thing now, Ken, with the data centers.
- 5:21Speaker 3: Data centers have been in our country for years. Now,
- 5:24Speaker 3: all of a sudden, to me, it's a ploy. It's
- 5:26Speaker 3: just another way for them to help the left win
- 5:29Speaker 3: around the world, like China, Russia. It's just another way,
- 5:32Speaker 3: an obstacle for them to stop our nation from staying
- 5:36Speaker 3: on the top. The Democrats used environmentalists. They used everything
- 5:42Speaker 3: to throw garbage at us, to stop us from doing this, that,
- 5:45Speaker 3: and the other thing. Just like, remember, save the whales,
- 5:47Speaker 3: save the whales.
- 5:49Speaker 1: How about the trees? Right, Robert, you forgot about the trees. Remember,
- 5:53Speaker 1: they used to spike trees so that if you went
- 5:55Speaker 1: to cut down a tree, if you were a logger,
- 5:57Speaker 1: you would get killed. Liberals and radical environmentalists and communists
- 6:02Speaker 1: around the world throughout the decades, they're just nuts. And
- 6:06Speaker 1: their only job is to try to take down mainstream society.
- 6:10Speaker 1: Most people, whether they call themselves conservative or not, tend
- 6:13Speaker 1: to be conservative. They want to raise their kids in
- 6:15Speaker 1: a safe environment, work hard, earn the money, put food
- 6:18Speaker 1: on the table, and just call it a day at
- 6:19Speaker 1: the end of life. It's basically it. And, but, but people,
- 6:23Speaker 1: people tend to think it, look, if somebody confronts you,
- 6:27Speaker 1: it's easier to talk liberal than it is to talk
- 6:30Speaker 1: conservative because talking conservative involves an explanation. Talking liberal is
- 6:35Speaker 1: a bumper sticker. You know what I'm talking about?
- 6:36Speaker 3: I absolutely do. Ken, can I ask one last question?
- 6:40Speaker 3: Thank you for letting me have a say. When you
- 6:43Speaker 3: speak to, and you don't have to name names, but
- 6:44Speaker 3: when you speak to the people who you used to
- 6:47Speaker 3: work with, wherever you that were leftist broadcasters, and you say,
- 6:52Speaker 3: let me ask you something, Joe Schmo, if they destroy
- 6:55Speaker 3: the capitalist engine, the capitalist system, they start throwing monkey wrenches,
- 6:59Speaker 3: and you start seeing deterioration in capital, in wealth, does
- 7:04Speaker 3: that make you happy? Does that reinforce your beliefs? I
- 7:08Speaker 3: believe in the capitalist system. I'm not rich, never been,
- 7:11Speaker 3: probably never will be. I don't hate Musk. I don't
- 7:13Speaker 3: hate any of these people. To me, I'm happy they're
- 7:16Speaker 3: around because it's because of them that we have a
- 7:19Speaker 3: good quality of life.
- 7:20Speaker 1: And it gives me something to shoot for. It gives
- 7:23Speaker 1: me something to shoot for. It gives me a dream.
- 7:25Speaker 1: It's like, you know what? I may never be Santa Claus,
- 7:28Speaker 1: but I don't hate Santa Claus. And I look at
- 7:30Speaker 1: Santa Claus as the guy that might give me a gift.
- 7:32Speaker 1: How about that? Is that a good analogy? I'm sorry?
- 7:37Speaker 3: You have children, do you not?
- 7:39Speaker 1: I do not, but I have lots of nieces and nephews.
- 7:42Speaker 3: Okay, then I'll use that because the same with me.
- 7:45Speaker 3: We were never blessed. But now you want them to
- 7:48Speaker 3: be successes. You want them to be like another Elon
- 7:50Speaker 3: Musk or another J.P. Morgan or another, you know, whoever,
- 7:54Speaker 3: this fella that they ran out of the city of
- 7:56Speaker 3: New York because– and they did that stupid Pierre Duterte
- 7:59Speaker 3: tax to expose him. Expose what? Because he's successful? And
- 8:03Speaker 3: that's what I– that's what the people who are moderate
- 8:05Speaker 3: and the independents– please look at this. These people are
- 8:09Speaker 3: really wolves in sheep's clothing.
- 8:11Speaker 1: Robert, all you got to do is look at the
- 8:14Speaker 1: fact that since 9-11, 100 million people have been born,
- 8:15Speaker 1: and those people don't have.
- 8:23Speaker 1: A grasp of history. They're young and they're easily, they're malleable.
- 8:27Speaker 1: They're easily manipulated by the left. And we have given
- 8:30Speaker 1: away our education system to mold these young individuals. And
- 8:35Speaker 1: this is how you get a Mamdani elected in the
- 8:37Speaker 1: city of New York. Robert, I appreciate the phone call
- 8:39Speaker 1: from my home county of Westchester, born and raised in
- 8:42Speaker 1: New Rochelle. I appreciate you, my friend. Have a great
- 8:44Speaker 1: Labor Day weekend.
- 8:46Speaker 3: You too. All right, Robert.
- 8:47Speaker 1: Thank you.
