- 1:35Speaker 2: Speaking of listings, this week's featured.
- 1:37Speaker 1: Listing is a but I guess we could call it.
- 1:40Speaker 1: It is a really really beautiful home in Jefferson. Let's
- 1:44Speaker 1: talk about this house on Fairway Circle map.
- 1:47Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a charmer, I mean, a curb appeal that's
- 1:50Speaker 3: out of a movie.
- 1:51Speaker 2: Yeah right, Yeah.
- 1:52Speaker 3: The addresses six to twelve Fairway Circle in Jefferson. And
- 1:57Speaker 3: this is a large home, four bedrooms, three and a
- 2:00Speaker 3: half bath, over three thousand square feet. You know, it's
- 2:04Speaker 3: got it's got a fireplace, it's got finished lower level
- 2:09Speaker 3: has one of those neat side garages which give the
- 2:12Speaker 3: front a really neat, neat look to it, because you
- 2:14Speaker 3: just it makes a home look a lot even bigger
- 2:16Speaker 3: when you have the garage doors on the side.
- 2:18Speaker 2: It does.
- 2:18Speaker 1: It looks and I know that there are some subdivisions
- 2:21Speaker 1: that have requirements for that now where they don't allow
- 2:24Speaker 1: you allow your garage facing the circle.
- 2:26Speaker 2: I see why. It looks just amazing like that. The
- 2:29Speaker 2: other cool thing is.
- 2:30Speaker 1: For anyone that's ever bought a home, the first thing
- 2:33Speaker 1: I noticed was two words new and roof.
- 2:37Speaker 3: And new central a c oh, yeah, the two major ones.
- 2:41Speaker 2: But they are they are? Is that?
- 2:43Speaker 1: And by the way, I wouln't ask you too, Matt,
- 2:44Speaker 1: when when working with an agent on something like that,
- 2:47Speaker 1: is I think of like first time home buyers. You know,
- 2:50Speaker 1: we all do this where we're like very wowed by
- 2:53Speaker 1: like and for good reason. You know, beautiful looking home,
- 2:56Speaker 1: you know, great countertops, all these other things, but things
- 2:58Speaker 1: like again new maybe not the most glamorous, but the
- 3:02Speaker 1: reality is it does make a substantial difference on at home,
- 3:05Speaker 1: doesn't it.
- 3:05Speaker 3: Yeah, It definitely makes a difference, and it actually can
- 3:07Speaker 3: affect your insurance as well. Really yeah, if you have
- 3:10Speaker 3: a much older roof, sometimes that can have an effect
- 3:13Speaker 3: on what you have to or can do with your
- 3:15Speaker 3: homeowners insurance.
- 3:16Speaker 1: So it's a it's important thing, It is really important.
- 3:19Speaker 1: It's also important to be working with a great agent.
- 3:21Speaker 2: Of course.
- 3:21Speaker 1: This house at six twelve Fairway Circle in Jefferson.
- 3:24Speaker 2: Max Mulhern, he's.
- 3:25Speaker 1: The guy to call this morning six o' eight five
- 3:27Speaker 1: zero nine thirty eight oh seven. That's six o' eight
- 3:30Speaker 1: five zero nine thirty eight oh seven. Give Max call
- 3:32Speaker 1: this morning. Tell me you want to see this beautiful
- 3:34Speaker 1: home on Fairway Circle in Jefferson. Of course you can
- 3:37Speaker 1: see pictures as well at Rockwisconsin dot com. And Matt,
- 3:40Speaker 1: we're not alone in studio this morning. Are we grow
- 3:43Speaker 1: along a friend?
- 3:44Speaker 2: We are not?
- 3:44Speaker 3: We are not. I have Bethany Alexander Rockstar Reeltor and
- 3:48Speaker 3: also tax preparer.
- 3:51Speaker 2: Bethany. How you doing this morning?
- 3:52Speaker 4: I'm doing all right?
- 3:53Speaker 2: Tax preparer as well.
- 3:55Speaker 4: Yes, I've been a tax accountant for twenty one years.
- 3:57Speaker 1: And we were talking before the show. Do you drink somethings?
- 4:00Speaker 1: I would think somebody that works in text preparation. You
- 4:04Speaker 1: would need. Like you look at those numbers. It's start
- 4:08Speaker 1: to doze off a little bit, but you gotta love it.
- 4:10Speaker 4: Don't coffee, it's all costee keeps me going.
- 4:13Speaker 2: How long have you been doing the real estate side?
- 4:15Speaker 4: Twelve years. I've been with Rock Reality the whole time. Actually,
- 4:17Speaker 4: I was the first agent to sign on with Rock Reality.
- 4:19Speaker 2: Amazing is the number one nice work there, Mac, good job.
- 4:23Speaker 1: Yeah, it's and that's it's so cool to see and
- 4:25Speaker 1: a little bit about you, Bethany, I see here you are.
- 4:28Speaker 2: You're a fan of.
- 4:29Speaker 4: Travel, love to travel when I can. Obviously winter is
- 4:32Speaker 4: a good time to travel. But I'm being a tax accountant.
- 4:35Speaker 4: I don't get much of that travel.
- 4:36Speaker 1: Tac Yes, Hawaii is the is the spot for you?
- 4:40Speaker 2: Love it.
- 4:41Speaker 4: We've been there several times. We were actually married on
- 4:43Speaker 4: the beach in Hawaii. So Maui, Hawaii is one of
- 4:45Speaker 4: my favorite spots.
- 4:46Speaker 1: That is very very cool talking this morning with Matt
- 4:48Speaker 1: Heyman and Bethany Alexander, both of Rock Realty. You can
- 4:51Speaker 1: learn more online Rock Wisconsin dot com. That's Rock r
- 4:54Speaker 1: O c K Wisconsin dot com. So let's talk Bethany
- 4:57Speaker 1: about about working at Rock Realty for you?
- 4:59Speaker 2: What what set like?
- 5:00Speaker 1: What's that what obviously you've been there since since day one,
- 5:03Speaker 1: first employee, What's what's that been like for you?
- 5:05Speaker 4: You know, it's a great team environment. Everybody's there to
- 5:08Speaker 4: help you and work together. I've I've had a great
- 5:12Speaker 4: experience with all of the agents that work there, and
- 5:14Speaker 4: and really just everybody's willing to help everybody else, and
- 5:17Speaker 4: it's it's just a great team environment.
- 5:19Speaker 1: Let's talk then, too about you know, a little bit
- 5:21Speaker 1: of the internal is obviously a great team there. But
- 5:23Speaker 1: I've got to guess and it's certainly you know, we
- 5:25Speaker 1: talk about, you know, about working and accounting as.
- 5:28Speaker 2: Well and that stuff. You've got to be a people person.
- 5:30Speaker 1: I've got to guess you you probably really enjoy being
- 5:33Speaker 1: a real estate agent as well, don't you.
- 5:34Speaker 4: Absolutely? You know, tying those two things together, knowing people's
- 5:38Speaker 4: finances and being able to help them on the real
- 5:40Speaker 4: estate side, understanding what they can really afford and doing
- 5:43Speaker 4: those things is you know, it's a good marriage between
- 5:46Speaker 4: the two careers.
- 5:47Speaker 1: What made you decide to start doing real estate? Matt
- 5:53Speaker 1: he has that power over people, doesn't He's very influential.
- 5:56Speaker 2: It does. That is it's it's got it.
- 5:59Speaker 1: That's got to be so much fun though, as you
- 6:01Speaker 1: think about about having people and helping people and something
- 6:04Speaker 1: very tangible is is you know, going from whether it's
- 6:07Speaker 1: a house that maybe they've they've outgrown, kids, grow off,
- 6:10Speaker 1: grow up, go to college, start their own families, or
- 6:13Speaker 1: maybe a situation where they're ready for that move up,
- 6:15Speaker 1: or even even I'm gonna guess even more dramatic, that
- 6:17Speaker 1: first time home buyer. That's got to be amazingly rewarding.
- 6:20Speaker 1: Getting to know these families, getting to all these folks
- 6:22Speaker 1: and kind of working through a pretty significant life phase
- 6:25Speaker 1: with them and assisting them along the way.
- 6:27Speaker 4: Absolutely, it's like an extension of your family, right they
- 6:30Speaker 4: become part of that group and you get to celebrate
- 6:33Speaker 4: with them after everything is said and done and see
- 6:35Speaker 4: the excitement on their face when they finally find that
- 6:37Speaker 4: right home.
- 6:38Speaker 1: Oh how great is that? Speaking of finding that right home,
- 6:41Speaker 1: obviously you've got you've got some places listed. Is there
- 6:43Speaker 1: anythink that's standing out to you right now as far
- 6:45Speaker 1: as your listenings that you're like.
- 6:47Speaker 4: So, I don't have any current listings myself. I'm working
- 6:50Speaker 4: with buyers right now, but Rock Reality's got some great
- 6:54Speaker 4: active listings out there that she sold all hers earlier
- 7:00Speaker 4: in the area during the tax season.
- 7:03Speaker 1: Well, I talked about working with the buyers and what
- 7:06Speaker 1: that experience is like for you is is you know
- 7:09Speaker 1: I mentioned, you know, getting to know the families and
- 7:11Speaker 1: getting know the folks. Let's talk a little bit about
- 7:13Speaker 1: what that's like from your perspective.
- 7:14Speaker 4: Sure, So, I mean it's a daunting thing, right looking
- 7:17Speaker 4: for a house right now and trying to find that
- 7:19Speaker 4: right spot. Interest rates are a little high, and affordability
- 7:24Speaker 4: sometimes is not quite there. So sometimes talking them off
- 7:28Speaker 4: a ledge on some of the things that they want
- 7:29Speaker 4: and having them kind of compromise on some of the
- 7:32Speaker 4: things and know that they can do other things to
- 7:34Speaker 4: finish it up.
- 7:35Speaker 2: You know.
- 7:35Speaker 1: One of the amazing things about this area is obviously
- 7:38Speaker 1: if you're in like the heart of Madison, there's there's
- 7:40Speaker 1: a premium that you're going to pay for that, right
- 7:42Speaker 1: if you're the convenience of the isthmus and that type
- 7:44Speaker 1: of thing. But if you step outside of Madison proper,
- 7:48Speaker 1: even if you're willing to Rock County Jefferson County, there
- 7:51Speaker 1: are some really, really amazing properties that are that are
- 7:56Speaker 1: very affordable for folks, and I think people sometimes and
- 8:00Speaker 1: especially if you if you know, if you're a younger
- 8:01Speaker 1: person looking for that first home, they'll see like the
- 8:04Speaker 1: stuff like in their neighborhood where their house or their
- 8:07Speaker 1: apartment is, and they're going, I don't know if I
- 8:08Speaker 1: can ever afford that. If they take the time to
- 8:10Speaker 1: talk with an agent and work with a good buyer's agent,
- 8:12Speaker 1: you can find them something. It might it might be,
- 8:14Speaker 1: you know, twenty minutes outside of town, but they're out there,
- 8:16Speaker 1: aren't they.
- 8:17Speaker 4: They are. I actually have one under contract right now
- 8:20Speaker 4: that's in Jefferson County, h three bedroom, three bath, townhouse
- 8:24Speaker 4: style home and you could never find that price point
- 8:28Speaker 4: in Madison.
- 8:28Speaker 1: That's pretty amazing stuff. Talking this morning with Bethany Alexander
- 8:32Speaker 1: and Matt Heyman, of course of Rockrealty. Can learn more
- 8:34Speaker 1: online the website rock Wisconsin dot com. That's our ock
- 8:38Speaker 1: Wisconsin dot com. Great website to learn more about Rock Realty.
- 8:41Speaker 1: Also really good website. Spent a little bit of time,
- 8:43Speaker 1: whether you're looking to buy, looking to sell, just looking
- 8:45Speaker 1: to see.
- 8:46Speaker 2: What's out there.
- 8:47Speaker 1: I always love just seeing the pictures look like it's
- 8:49Speaker 1: so cool to see that stuff. Just head on over
- 8:50Speaker 1: to Rock Wisconsin dot com. That's Rock r Ock Wisconsin
- 8:54Speaker 1: dot com. Welloka's into your conversation with Matt and Bethany.
- 8:56Speaker 1: We'll talk a little bit more about about what Bethany
- 8:59Speaker 1: loves about her job, and of course some great opportunities
- 9:01Speaker 1: for you as well. We will do all of that
- 9:03Speaker 1: nests as asked the experts with Rock Realty continues right
- 9:06Speaker 1: here on thirteen ten WU I B I eight forty
- 9:10Speaker 1: six thirteen ten WI B A and ask the experts
- 9:13Speaker 1: with Rock Realty hanging out with Matt Hetman and Bethany
- 9:16Speaker 1: this morning. Of course they are with Rockrealty online, Rock
- 9:19Speaker 1: Wisconsin dot com. That's Rock r c K Wisconsin dot com.
- 9:24Speaker 1: And talk a little bit more with Bethany about her role.
- 9:27Speaker 1: But real quick too, Matt, we mentioned in that last
- 9:29Speaker 1: segment that Bethany was your first hire. A little bit
- 9:33Speaker 1: about working at Rock Realty, and a little bit about
- 9:35Speaker 1: the I know you and Mike really work to form
- 9:39Speaker 1: a really really cohesive team at Rock Realty buyers agent sellers,
- 9:43Speaker 1: agents working with clients.
- 9:45Speaker 2: It's really a high priority for you, isn't it.
- 9:47Speaker 3: Yeah, Yeah, I would say that. You know, what we've
- 9:50Speaker 3: learned is you have to hire the right people to
- 9:52Speaker 3: have the right culture.
- 9:53Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 9:54Speaker 3: Right, And we've always hired good hearted, genuine people that
- 9:58Speaker 3: want to do right by the clients and I want
- 10:01Speaker 3: to help others. And that kind of correlates to a
- 10:03Speaker 3: team atmosphere then too, So they're not just out for themselves,
- 10:06Speaker 3: they're they're out for the team, out for their clients,
- 10:08Speaker 3: and it's a it's been a great close knit group.
- 10:12Speaker 1: We talked to about Bethany, i'mnna ask you, is you
- 10:14Speaker 1: get a chance to go out on any of these
- 10:15Speaker 1: little excursions. I know once a year Matt likes to
- 10:19Speaker 1: likes to get out of town for a while, do
- 10:20Speaker 1: you guys it's usually.
- 10:22Speaker 4: During tax season, so.
- 10:24Speaker 1: She usually qualifies, But that doesn't chooses not the job man,
- 10:29Speaker 1: you guys bring back something nice though.
- 10:31Speaker 3: You know, if she would do Texas when it's cold out,
- 10:32Speaker 3: we'd be Yeah, it would.
- 10:34Speaker 2: Be all set.
- 10:34Speaker 1: So a lot of the cool perks as we as
- 10:36Speaker 1: we talked this morning about Rock Realty and talk a
- 10:39Speaker 1: little bit more with Bethany Alexander about about her experience
- 10:42Speaker 1: and Bethany, we start this conversation, Uh, mentioning you work
- 10:46Speaker 1: in in tax preparation and a tax accountants been one
- 10:50Speaker 1: for twenty one years. The two worlds do intersect, don't they,
- 10:54Speaker 1: And specifically something called a one twenty one exclusion, which
- 10:59Speaker 1: against sounds very very it probably is technical, very technical,
- 11:04Speaker 1: but it is something that can be very useful for
- 11:07Speaker 1: folks when it comes to real estate. Let's talk a
- 11:09Speaker 1: little bit about merging those two worlds and what we're
- 11:11Speaker 1: talking about with that one twenty one exclusion.
- 11:14Speaker 2: Yes.
- 11:15Speaker 4: Yeah, So there's a lot of confusion sometimes with real estates,
- 11:18Speaker 4: and I think people think if they sell their home,
- 11:21Speaker 4: they have to invest that money into another property right
- 11:23Speaker 4: away in order to avoid paying capital gains tax. But
- 11:27Speaker 4: in reality, if you've owned your home for two or
- 11:31Speaker 4: owned your home and lived in it for two out
- 11:33Speaker 4: of five years, you can use this one twenty one
- 11:36Speaker 4: exclusion as long as you make less than two hundred
- 11:39Speaker 4: fifty thousand dollars as a single individual or five hundred
- 11:41Speaker 4: thousand dollars as a married couple. So it's a nice
- 11:44Speaker 4: way to you know, get that equity out of your
- 11:47Speaker 4: home and not have to reinvest it to actually reap
- 11:51Speaker 4: the rewards.
- 11:51Speaker 1: Oh that's fascinat because I h I think a lot
- 11:53Speaker 1: of people are like, oh, we love to sell, but
- 11:55Speaker 1: that hit could just be substantial. So with that, I've
- 11:59Speaker 1: got to guess working obviously yourself, but working with other
- 12:03Speaker 1: agents as well. At Rock Realty, we talked a little
- 12:05Speaker 1: bit about that team approach. You're able to help other
- 12:08Speaker 1: agents as well kind of navigate through some of these
- 12:11Speaker 1: great opportunities and some of these great benefits.
- 12:14Speaker 4: Absolutely, I've had many conversations with agents within Rock Reality
- 12:18Speaker 4: and as well as their clients just to help answer
- 12:21Speaker 4: these questions and make sure that they understand that, you know,
- 12:23Speaker 4: they can really sell their home and reap the rewards
- 12:26Speaker 4: without do.
- 12:27Speaker 1: We see people using it as a strategy as well
- 12:29Speaker 1: as kind of an overall financial strategy. You think of
- 12:32Speaker 1: like your home and the equity that you can build
- 12:34Speaker 1: in a home having. You know, obviously its primary use
- 12:39Speaker 1: is a place to live, but we can't ignore the
- 12:42Speaker 1: financial implications of this asset that we're building and growing
- 12:46Speaker 1: over your simply by sleeping in it each night.
- 12:49Speaker 2: Right correct well.
- 12:50Speaker 4: In with interest rates in the market the way it's been,
- 12:52Speaker 4: you know, sometimes people buyers have to buy a home
- 12:55Speaker 4: that is less than what they're looking for, and they
- 12:57Speaker 4: can utilize the equity in their home, continue to sell
- 13:00Speaker 4: that home every two years. You can take this exclusion
- 13:03Speaker 4: and they can build up to eventually their dream home
- 13:06Speaker 4: and what they've been looking for.
- 13:07Speaker 1: Other opportunities with rental properties as well, as we talk
- 13:09Speaker 1: about some of this stuff in some areas that that
- 13:11Speaker 1: folks need to be aware of.
- 13:12Speaker 4: Absolutely. So you have an investment property, you have a
- 13:15Speaker 4: rental property, you can actually bring in the ten thirty
- 13:18Speaker 4: one exchange and defer capital gains tax on that into
- 13:23Speaker 4: the next property and build up to a bigger property.
- 13:26Speaker 1: By the way, you just lit up when I said that,
- 13:28Speaker 1: I could see it like I knew I hit something there.
- 13:31Speaker 2: A true accountant.
- 13:32Speaker 3: Yeah, you got excited about ten thirty one.
- 13:34Speaker 1: Very exciting stuff this morning as we to talk tobut
- 13:37Speaker 1: with Bethany Alexander and Matt Heyman of Rockrealty the website
- 13:40Speaker 1: Rock Wisconsin dot com.
- 13:41Speaker 2: That's rock Wisconsin dot com.
- 13:44Speaker 1: Learning a little bit about Bethany, a little bit about
- 13:46Speaker 1: what it's like working at Rock Realty and working with
- 13:49Speaker 1: buyers and again, it's a great day. Been looking to
- 13:51Speaker 1: buy a home and looking to list your home and
- 13:53Speaker 1: looking to a combination of too. If you're looking for
- 13:55Speaker 1: investment properties, it's a great day to pick up phone,
- 13:58Speaker 1: give them a call. Six eight six seven three fifty
- 14:00Speaker 1: four hundred. That's six eight six seven three fifty four
- 14:03Speaker 1: hundred and Bethany, we kind of touched on a little
- 14:05Speaker 1: bit earlier about some of your experiences. Are there like
- 14:08Speaker 1: a is there like a particular sale or a particular
- 14:11Speaker 1: situation that kind of stands out to you, like a
- 14:13Speaker 1: memorable experience you've had with clients who are just like, oh,
- 14:15Speaker 1: my goodness, this is just just the bee's knees has
- 14:19Speaker 1: worked out perfectly.
- 14:20Speaker 2: You know.
- 14:20Speaker 4: I mean I've had experiences where we didn't actually get
- 14:25Speaker 4: an accepted offer and something fell through and then they
- 14:27Speaker 4: were able to actually come in and get the property
- 14:29Speaker 4: that they were kind of looking at and really wanting.
- 14:32Speaker 4: So you know, certain things like that, But every experience
- 14:35Speaker 4: is a memorable experience when I get to go through
- 14:37Speaker 4: it with these clients and celebrate with them at the
- 14:39Speaker 4: end of the day.
- 14:40Speaker 1: You know, I have a couple of relatives that work
- 14:42Speaker 1: in home building, and like you drive around with them,
- 14:43Speaker 1: they're always like I worked on that.
- 14:45Speaker 2: Is that the same thing for real estate agent?
- 14:46Speaker 1: Like when you drive around you go, hey, I listed
- 14:49Speaker 1: that or I know the smiths that live there, and like,
- 14:53Speaker 1: is it like that for you as well?
- 14:54Speaker 4: It is. It's it's surreal right when you drive by
- 14:56Speaker 4: and you know that you had a part in them
- 14:59Speaker 4: getting into that home or selling that home and moving
- 15:01Speaker 4: on to their next ideal place.
- 15:03Speaker 1: What would you say to younger people that are that
- 15:05Speaker 1: are looking to get into get into real estate? Any
- 15:07Speaker 1: advice for them as far as what they should be
- 15:09Speaker 1: doing right now?
- 15:11Speaker 4: You know it's scary, but also if you get the
- 15:14Speaker 4: right mentor and you work with the white group of people,
- 15:17Speaker 4: it can be such a rewarding experience. So I mean,
- 15:20Speaker 4: if it's something that you have interest in, I would
- 15:22Speaker 4: absolutely explore it.
- 15:23Speaker 2: I met.
- 15:23Speaker 1: Do you get folks that will call the call the
- 15:25Speaker 1: office and say we liked maybe not today, but we're
- 15:28Speaker 1: looking to in the future becoming homeowners. What can we do?
- 15:32Speaker 1: Like do you does that really? Can that relate? Like
- 15:35Speaker 1: I think a lot of times I have this impression
- 15:37Speaker 1: of like, well, it's people calling and they're like, I
- 15:40Speaker 1: want to buy I've seen this house or this tyf
- 15:41Speaker 1: of thing. Do you get folks that are like very
- 15:43Speaker 1: proactive saying, you know what, maybe we don't have a
- 15:45Speaker 1: specific house or a specific date in mind, but it's
- 15:48Speaker 1: definitely something we want to start exploring early.
- 15:50Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 15:51Speaker 3: I just I just actually got an email like that
- 15:53Speaker 3: this week, and yeah, it was essentially, Hey, just wanted
- 15:56Speaker 3: to start looking into what it's going to take to
- 15:58Speaker 3: buy a house and just wanted to advice, and we
- 16:00Speaker 3: got one of our agents in touch of in touch
- 16:02Speaker 3: with them and also had that inquire. I get a
- 16:05Speaker 3: lot of inquiries actually from students or people just just
- 16:07Speaker 3: about looking to graduate that are thinking about getting into
- 16:10Speaker 3: real estate themselves. And we have a we have a
- 16:13Speaker 3: career site at my rockstar job dot com that, uh,
- 16:17Speaker 3: you know, people go on and take a look at
- 16:19Speaker 3: different interviews with our agents and just get an idea
- 16:21Speaker 3: what it's gonna take.
- 16:22Speaker 1: Oh, that's very very cool stuff. Mentioned that website, my
- 16:24Speaker 1: rockstar job dot com. Great website there as well a
- 16:27Speaker 1: bunch of different websites to help this week, My Rockstar Job,
- 16:30Speaker 1: of course, rock Wisconsin dot com and of course the
- 16:33Speaker 1: the Rocklistings dot com.
- 16:34Speaker 2: Really cool stuff.
- 16:35Speaker 1: And one final thing toobouthony, but before we before we
- 16:38Speaker 1: get to this week's featured listening with working with folks,
- 16:42Speaker 1: you know, whether they're first time home buyers. But also
- 16:44Speaker 1: as we're talking a little bit about some of the
- 16:46Speaker 1: opportunities for move up buyers and folks building equity, that's
- 16:49Speaker 1: got to present some some unique There's obviously some great advantages,
- 16:53Speaker 1: but there's got to be some unique challenges in kind
- 16:55Speaker 1: of doing that listening to buy and and kind of
- 16:58Speaker 1: getting all the ducks in a row and obviously having
- 17:00Speaker 1: a place to put your stuff like with rocks listings
- 17:02Speaker 1: and Tso it's got to be great, but also like
- 17:04Speaker 1: the like the process itself, working with a professional and
- 17:07Speaker 1: working with somebody that's that does that day in and
- 17:10Speaker 1: day out. You think about the benefits to the to
- 17:12Speaker 1: the seller slash buyer. That's a great benefit too.
- 17:15Speaker 2: Isn't it.
- 17:16Speaker 4: Absolutely it is. And you know, just getting people in
- 17:18Speaker 4: with the right team and working with the right group
- 17:20Speaker 4: of people, you know, you can generally make things, make
- 17:23Speaker 4: things work pretty seamlessly.
- 17:26Speaker 2: That's fantastic to hear.
- 17:27Speaker 1: Dog and this morning with Bethany Alexander and Matt Heyman
- 17:29Speaker 1: of Rock Realty Online Rock Wisconsin dot com. That's Rock
- 17:32Speaker 1: r O c K Wisconsin dot com. I'm looking at
- 17:35Speaker 1: this house this week's Week's Featured Listening. Uh, Matt and uh,
- 17:39Speaker 1: It's it's absolutely as you mentioned, almost like a movie set.
- 17:41Speaker 1: It's a it's it's very picturesque.
- 17:43Speaker 2: Called farmhouse style. Is that was?
- 17:45Speaker 1: Yeah, It's got a lot of great, cool little details.
- 17:48Speaker 1: I love the windows, and you know it's like one
- 17:50Speaker 1: of those where there's you ever go to, oh Woodstock, Illinois,
- 17:55Speaker 1: you haven't happened by recently, you know, Well, the significance
- 17:58Speaker 1: of it is it's where Groundhog Day Bill Murray that
- 18:03Speaker 1: we filmed it. And you walk through the downtown and
- 18:05Speaker 1: you like start to notice like how beautifully detailed, like
- 18:07Speaker 1: from the brick pavers and the street, and like all
- 18:10Speaker 1: the businesses are very charming, and you're like nothing, it
- 18:13Speaker 1: makes a perfect movie set. And I look at this
- 18:15Speaker 1: house and everything's very charming, very picturesque. Like there's no
- 18:18Speaker 1: detail that's overlooked. There's not just like a there's a
- 18:20Speaker 1: bland side to this home. Like every side and every
- 18:23Speaker 1: every service has a unique feature to it. It's an
- 18:26Speaker 1: absolutely beautiful home. The other thing that I as we
- 18:28Speaker 1: talk about the X exterior, the interior as well, what
- 18:31Speaker 1: a great thit open kitchen, open dining, and you mentioned.
- 18:35Speaker 2: The square footage. There's a little place for everybody in
- 18:37Speaker 2: here is.
- 18:38Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly, and I mean even has a three car garage,
- 18:41Speaker 3: you know, four bedrooms, so you have that ability to
- 18:44Speaker 3: have the office. I don't think I mentioned the list
- 18:46Speaker 3: price before, but it's listed for four ninety nine, nine
- 18:49Speaker 3: hundred and over three thousand square feet.
- 18:51Speaker 1: It's a pretty good that's a pretty good bye right there.
- 18:54Speaker 1: And also Jefferson giving it a little bit of love.
- 18:57Speaker 1: It's a great community, a great area. This this house
- 19:00Speaker 1: isn't too far from from the riverfront either, if I
- 19:03Speaker 1: if I know my area.
- 19:04Speaker 3: With the aquatic center.
- 19:05Speaker 1: Ooh, I've got my nephew staying with us this week,
- 19:10Speaker 1: and we've got a pool right down the road. And
- 19:12Speaker 1: there is nothing better than be able to drop the
- 19:14Speaker 1: kiddos off spend the day there. Well, well dad goes
- 19:17Speaker 1: out and does fun things again near the golf course
- 19:20Speaker 1: as well. Again, if you are interested in this beautiful
- 19:22Speaker 1: home right on fair Away Court in Jefferson, all I
- 19:26Speaker 1: gotta do is pick phone give McCall Max. Max would
- 19:28Speaker 1: love to talk to you. Max Maulherney. He is the
- 19:30Speaker 1: listing agents. Is telephone number six eight five zero. Nine
- 19:33Speaker 1: thirty eight oh seven. That's six eight five zero nine
- 19:35Speaker 1: thirty eighth seven. One final thing before we wrap up.
- 19:39Speaker 1: We mentioned at the start of the show the promotion
- 19:41Speaker 1: you've got going on with tso Totally spaced Out. That
- 19:44Speaker 1: is a huge benefit for folks and really quickly for
- 19:48Speaker 1: folks that don't know. Let's talk a little bit about
- 19:50Speaker 1: that promotion you're running right now, Matt.
- 19:51Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 19:52Speaker 3: Yeah, So one of the biggest factors in selling your home,
- 19:55Speaker 3: the biggest pain point is the move. Right. Otherwise we
- 19:59Speaker 3: just ship every time, right, every time we saw a
- 20:02Speaker 3: pretty picture, but so we wanted to make that as
- 20:04Speaker 3: simple as possible. We teamed up with Totally spaced Out there,
- 20:08Speaker 3: you know, the Madisonaria mobile storage solution, and we wanted
- 20:11Speaker 3: to include that for our clients. And you know, we've
- 20:13Speaker 3: got some details at rocklistings dot Com that goes over
- 20:17Speaker 3: you know what, what all's involved of dropping off that
- 20:20Speaker 3: container and bringing it to your new location.
- 20:22Speaker 1: It works on a number of fronts as well, not
- 20:24Speaker 1: always to make the move easy. It makes showing easy,
- 20:26Speaker 1: it makes things easier on your back as well. Sure,
- 20:29Speaker 1: you definitely want to check that stuff out, Bethany. It
- 20:32Speaker 1: was great seeing you. Great meeting you this morning, and
- 20:35Speaker 1: thank you for joining us.
