- 0:49[SPEAKER_07]: So if you're watching on video, I need your guys input.
- 0:53[SPEAKER_07]: What did you think about the video?
- 0:54[SPEAKER_07]: What did you think about the song?
- 0:56[SPEAKER_07]: The problem is I had the licensing rights to the previous song that we've been using by YouTube.
- 1:02[SPEAKER_07]: Freakin' YouTube constantly flags it for copyright issues, even though I've got the license and full permission from Artlist to use that music, and, you know, we even customize it into our own intro with a voiceover and everything doesn't matter YouTube for some reason.
- 1:19[SPEAKER_07]: Keeps flagging it and then Artlist has to go in and, you know, file dispute with YouTube and it's demonetized until the dispute gets resolved, it's just a freaking mess.
- 1:29[SPEAKER_07]: new song, new intro, new graphics.
- 1:32[SPEAKER_07]: I'm not really sure about the video.
- 1:33[SPEAKER_07]: You guys let me know about that.
- 1:34[SPEAKER_07]: I might rework it and try to do something different.
- 1:36[SPEAKER_07]: But I need your feedback on that.
- 1:38[SPEAKER_07]: I've been working on that for a little bit.
- 1:40[SPEAKER_07]: A little while here and just happy to be able to present it to you guys.
- 1:44[SPEAKER_07]: So give me your feedback today.
- 1:48[SPEAKER_07]: Not a whole lot as far as news is concerned for the Browns today is all about you.
- 1:53[SPEAKER_07]: It's you guys.
- 1:54[SPEAKER_07]: I've been promising for over a week since the NFL draft.
- 1:57[SPEAKER_07]: I need to play your voicemail as your reactions, everything that you had from draft weekend draft week last week, everything.

- 2:15[SPEAKER_07]: busy week very busy week following the draft and we've got even more content coming your way with more prospect breakdowns.
- 2:22[SPEAKER_07]: I want to get Brian Boesarge back on here to talk about things, you know, what his bangles did, the AFC North again and obviously the Browns draft.
- 2:30[SPEAKER_07]: But today's all about you guys.
- 2:31[SPEAKER_07]: So let's dive into your voice males before we do join the dogs dot com if you guys want to get into the dog pack community.

- 2:53[SPEAKER_07]: I've been telling you guys, as soon as we hit May, it's going to go straight into June real fast.
- 2:59[SPEAKER_07]: We got rookie mini camp coming up here at the end of the week.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_07]: I'm telling you, like once this stuff starts hitting, it goes fast.
- 3:06[SPEAKER_07]: We won't, I'm not trying to wish the summer away, but we're going to be at September before you guys know.
- 3:10[SPEAKER_07]: I know we're going to hit this wall in the summer for the summer break.
- 3:13[SPEAKER_07]: I'm sure somebody on the team is going to get arrested during that point and happens every year, and by the other than that, there won't be any news to talk about.
- 3:19[SPEAKER_07]: So we'll just be going straight from the mandatory OTAs and all that.
- 3:26[SPEAKER_07]: big break till training camp.
- 3:28[SPEAKER_07]: So anyway, just get back get into the dog back as we love seeing you in there, hang out again.
- 3:33[SPEAKER_07]: If it's not for you, don't have to stay.
- 3:36[SPEAKER_07]: But it's just $5 a month to join to cup a coffee that you donate to the show helps us out financially and gives you access to a lot of great people, a lot of great conversations and cool things that we do throughout the year that aren't always made, you know, available to the
- 3:54[SPEAKER_07]: Enough of that.
- 3:55[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, actually, no, they're, I guess there was one thing I wouldn't talk about.
- 3:57[SPEAKER_07]: So ESPN aired their documentary the other night.
- 4:01[SPEAKER_07]: The pick is in.
- 4:02[SPEAKER_07]: So that went and gave fans a more behind the scenes look into the war room for NFL teams during the first round of the draft.
- 4:11[SPEAKER_07]: And it was very interesting the parts of that documentary that detailed what the Browns were doing in their war room.
- 4:19[SPEAKER_07]: And I just wanted to mention this in case you guys missed it.
- 4:21[SPEAKER_07]: Let me know what you think in the comments.
- 4:23[SPEAKER_07]: If you watch the documentary and you saw this, but the first thing was when the Browns got on the clock at six, they felt comfortable moving back to nine with the chiefs.
- 4:34[SPEAKER_07]: Number one, we already knew from Jory Epstein's article last week that when the Browns made that move, they, Andrew Barry got a commitment from the chiefs that, you guys are not moving up here to take a tackle.
- 4:46[SPEAKER_07]: We'll trade this big with you.
- 4:48[SPEAKER_07]: You're not coming to get a tackle, right?
- 4:49[SPEAKER_07]: And they said, no, no, no, no, we're not coming out to take an offensive tackle.
- 4:52[SPEAKER_07]: Okay, so Andrew Barry made that deal.
- 4:54[SPEAKER_07]: Why was that so important to distinguish?
- 4:57[SPEAKER_07]: Well, we found out in that documentary that once the Browns got to six, they had three players that they wanted at six.
- 5:04[SPEAKER_07]: They would have been good with any one of the three and they said, well, if Kansas City comes up here at six and they're not taking a tackle because the players they wanted were two tackles on a wider silver.
- 5:15[SPEAKER_07]: Well, then you have seven, eight, and then we're back on the clock at nine, we're guaranteed to get at least one of these guys who are the top three on our board once we get to six.
- 5:25[SPEAKER_07]: So, they move back and the top three guys on their board were offensive tackle Spencer Fano, wide receiver Jordan Tyson, and offensive tackle Francis Maui Noah.
- 5:34[SPEAKER_07]: So they moved back.
- 5:35[SPEAKER_07]: It was a great move.
- 5:36[SPEAKER_07]: They netted an extra third, an extra fifth.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_07]: Those extra picks helped them navigate and move around the board and end up with the draft class
- 5:45[SPEAKER_07]: And we know us, let's see, Jordan Tyson was the first one to go off the board at 8 to the Saints, and then at 10, I believe it was, Francis Maui, no to the Giants.
- 5:56[SPEAKER_07]: And so, obviously, we were right in the middle there, nine, and we took our preferred tackle, which I think was the right move to get Spencer Fauna.
- 6:03[SPEAKER_07]: So I thought that was pretty cool.
- 6:04[SPEAKER_07]: Seeing the inside of that war room, and then just the other nugget from that documentary pertaining to the Brown specifically, and I didn't know this.
- 6:13[SPEAKER_07]: Maybe this had been reported somewhere, but I had never heard, once the Brown's got to pick nine.
- 6:19[SPEAKER_07]: After they made the trade with the chiefs, the Dallas Cowboys then tried to get up to nine.
- 6:26[SPEAKER_07]: Jerry Jones wanted the 9th overall pick and our 24th overall pick, so both of our first round picks at that point and he was going to give us both their first round picks.
- 6:38[SPEAKER_07]: So it had been 12 and 20.
- 6:41[SPEAKER_07]: plus an extra fifth round pick.
- 6:43[SPEAKER_07]: And to me, when I saw that, I was like, okay, so they wanted us to move back from nine to 12.
- 6:48[SPEAKER_07]: I know that's only three spots, but think about we had three people on the board and once we got to nine only two of them were remaining and we really wanted Spencer Fano.
- 6:56[SPEAKER_07]: So we weren't gonna make that move, especially just for an extra fifth round pick as the kicker.
- 7:03[SPEAKER_07]: And obviously we were moving up four spots later in the round from 24 to 20.
- 7:08[SPEAKER_07]: But I feel like the value loss, moving completely out of the top 10 would have been, I would have wanted more than a fifth round pick just to make that work.
- 7:18[SPEAKER_07]: Now, as far as draft pick trade value charts and things like that, maybe that was an even trade for that.
- 7:24[SPEAKER_07]: But I mean, when you're on the clock and you got a guy that you really like and you already made a move back, got some extra picks,
- 7:32[SPEAKER_07]: not really looking to what's an extra what's another extra fifth round pick going to do for me Jerry and then I lose out on phono no so injury buried turned it down stuck at nine took Spencer phono so just I thought that was a cool doc he meant that it was some cool insight into the browns war room I would love to see the entire
- 7:50[SPEAKER_07]: Raw uncut footage from the Browns War Room during night one.
- 7:54[SPEAKER_07]: I think that would be so cool to just sit back and watch three and a half hours of how the conversations around the table went.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_07]: The whole time the phone calls they were making and taking and discussions they had around certain players and reactions that they would have had when other guys were taken.
- 8:11[SPEAKER_07]: I didn't see this part of the documentary.
- 8:13[SPEAKER_07]: I must have
- 8:16[SPEAKER_07]: that the Browns room, maybe it was just a quick, maybe they just quickly showed different reactions.
- 8:22[SPEAKER_07]: Once Carnell Tate was taken at four, but they said, I don't think the Browns were too thrilled to see that Tate was off the board.
- 8:27[SPEAKER_07]: I do get the feeling that Carnell Tate was the top guy on their board for number six, because it said once they got to six,
- 8:36[SPEAKER_07]: the three top guys remaining were Fano Jordan Tyson was the only wide receiver they listed and then Francis might know us.
- 8:43[SPEAKER_07]: I got a really good feeling that Cardinal Tate was at the top of their board because I can't imagine they would had Jordan Tyson overtake that just to me doesn't make a whole lot of sense.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_07]: So either way, thought that was interesting.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_07]: I wanted to want to chat about that real quick with you guys and uh
- 8:58[SPEAKER_07]: get your, get your takes on that as well.
- 9:00[SPEAKER_07]: So let me know what you guys think in the comments.
- 9:03[SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
- 9:03[SPEAKER_07]: Now, I will give you guys a little bit of warning.
- 9:06[SPEAKER_07]: I might, I might be jumping.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_07]: I have not actually gone through.
- 9:09[SPEAKER_07]: I've got so many messages.
- 9:11[SPEAKER_07]: So many voice mail from you guys.
- 9:12[SPEAKER_07]: So I haven't gone through and read all the messages from the website or listen to all the voice mail is yet.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_07]: So some of this stuff, I might introduce a voice mail if the topic of the voice mail or the subject matter is just completely irrelevant.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_07]: where we are now in what may 4th may the 4th be with you guys, by the way, absolutely Star Wars Day got a love it got a love it I got my own Darth Vader this side Darth Vader's right up here yep okay anyhow um so if I'm jumping around a little bit that is why but man I got to go all the way back here so this one's from draft night April 23rd oh wait no I'm sorry scratch that see right there
- 9:53[SPEAKER_07]: is this from April 20th, so this is Saturday of draft weekend.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_07]: This is from Jacob.
- 9:59[SPEAKER_07]: Jacob writes it and says this was another amazing draft for Andrew Barry.
- 10:03[SPEAKER_07]: I love the focus on the offensive line and the wide receiver room.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_07]: I also really like AB trading back into the second round two pick a manual manual warrant might have to buy his jersey because I called the trade up.
- 10:14[SPEAKER_07]: Well, good job, Jacob.
- 10:15[SPEAKER_07]: I think that's
- 10:17[SPEAKER_07]: That was a great pick.
- 10:18[SPEAKER_07]: Such a great pick getting that kid at 58 unreal.
- 10:21[SPEAKER_07]: He says the one pick I'm still not so sure about his tail and green.
- 10:24[SPEAKER_07]: I understand he's an athletic freak, but he is still a quarterback overall an amazing draft.
- 10:28[SPEAKER_07]: So he keeps his job for now.
- 10:30[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I mean, you know, Andrew Barry's another.
- 10:34[SPEAKER_07]: thing from that documentary is I'm not sure the draft room would have felt that what felt like Andrew Barry had full command of that draft like it was his show and he was running it not like a you know what I say goes and but it just felt like
- 10:49[SPEAKER_07]: He was the leader, he was in charge.
- 10:51[SPEAKER_07]: And he was running the show and he did it very, very efficiently and very well in my opinion.
- 10:57[SPEAKER_07]: I would love to see clips and some insight to the Browns War Room in years past when Paul D. Podesta was a part of the equation.
- 11:04[SPEAKER_07]: I just have a feeling, Andrew Barry may not have been so assertive and so, I don't know, just strong with his leadership during the draft like he was during this and I thought it was great.
- 11:17[SPEAKER_07]: Jacob, thank you, obviously we do.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_07]: We'll be talking about tail and green all summer.
- 11:22[SPEAKER_07]: We'll be talking about all the quarterbacks, obviously.
- 11:24[SPEAKER_07]: It's always a topic of conversation with the Browns.
- 11:28[SPEAKER_07]: When it's a topic of conversation for any team that doesn't have a firm set in place forget about it type of starting player at quarterback and the Browns.
- 11:36[SPEAKER_07]: Unfortunately, don't right now, there's a quarterback competition.
- 11:39[SPEAKER_07]: We just added another guy after adding two last year.
- 11:42[SPEAKER_07]: Tailing Green is the most interesting prospect in this entire class.
- 11:45[SPEAKER_07]: Strictly due to his insane athletic ability.
- 11:49[SPEAKER_07]: So yeah, we'll be talking about this stuff all summer.
- 11:54[SPEAKER_07]: Okay, let's see another way.
- 11:55[SPEAKER_07]: I'm going to do all the messages first.
- 11:57[SPEAKER_07]: And then I'll kick it over the voice mouse.
- 12:00[SPEAKER_07]: Let's see.
- 12:00[SPEAKER_07]: This one is from Ralph.
- 12:01[SPEAKER_07]: Ralph says this.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_07]: So it looks like Barry has had two good drafts in two years.
- 12:06[SPEAKER_07]: So, do you think Jimmy Haslan was pushing Barry to use analytics or the previous bad years was all Barry also?
- 12:14[SPEAKER_07]: And he fooled us all, no defensive tackle for this year.
- 12:17[SPEAKER_07]: Yes, the first time injury Barry has gone in the draft and not taken a defensive tackle.
- 12:22[SPEAKER_07]: I firmly expected him to take a
- 12:30[SPEAKER_07]: eight offense.
- 12:31[SPEAKER_07]: Good.
- 12:32[SPEAKER_07]: That offense sucked last year and the year before freaking terrible.
- 12:36[SPEAKER_07]: Good Lord.
- 12:37[SPEAKER_07]: Thank you, Andrew Barry.
- 12:38[SPEAKER_07]: For listening and watching and just looking at the roster and saying, yep, time to invest.
- 12:44[SPEAKER_07]: It's time to invest.
- 12:45[SPEAKER_07]: So, do I think Jimmy was pushing Barry to use analytics?
- 12:49[SPEAKER_07]: No, I think Paul D. Padesse was.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I think Paul D. Padesse and Kevin, because you
- 12:57[SPEAKER_07]: Kevin was a Paul D. Bethesda guy, Kevin Stephansky, extremely, analytically driven, extremely.
- 13:05[SPEAKER_07]: So I think that there was a good, my meld between Kevin and D. Bethesda, and I think that maybe, I'm still, I'm not, I'm not ready to make sweeping declarations on Andrew Barry.
- 13:19[SPEAKER_07]: It was a great draft.
- 13:20[SPEAKER_07]: It's been two good drafts.
- 13:21[SPEAKER_07]: I love it.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_07]: I think there's a chance now that Andrew Barry has taken some unfair criticism for his over usage of analytics, because maybe it wasn't fully him over utilizing the analytics.
- 13:38[SPEAKER_07]: So I think the other guys had a strong hand and a lot of that.
- 13:43[SPEAKER_07]: All right, so we'll move on here.
- 13:44[SPEAKER_07]: Next message is from Cole.
- 13:47[SPEAKER_07]: Cole says, hey, guys, I started listening to this podcast on Spotify towards the middle part of last year.
- 13:51[SPEAKER_07]: And I haven't missed an episode since.
- 13:53[SPEAKER_07]: Thank you, Joe.
- 13:54[SPEAKER_07]: I appreciate the dedication, man.
- 13:56[SPEAKER_07]: I love you guys.
- 13:56[SPEAKER_07]: You guys are the, I know I say it a lot.
- 13:59[SPEAKER_07]: Sometimes I feel like I don't say enough, you're a best freaking audience in the world, man.
- 14:02[SPEAKER_07]: I love you guys.
- 14:03[SPEAKER_07]: It says Cole says it is refreshing to hear logical Browns takes outside of the crap.
- 14:08[SPEAKER_07]: The usual Browns media feeds us.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_07]: Oh my gosh.
- 14:10[SPEAKER_07]: Do tell me about it.
- 14:12[SPEAKER_07]: He says with that being said, MKC saying that Deshawn Watson is leading the quarterback race right now is awful.
- 14:17[SPEAKER_07]: I was at the game where he towards Achilles and even though people tried to deny it, we were cheering.
- 14:22[SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
- 14:22[SPEAKER_07]: Well, there you go.
- 14:23[SPEAKER_07]: First hand experience he says if they truly name to Sean the week one starter and it is at home game the stadium might get torn down dude I mean just as a mid-talking about this like You how can you put him out there?
- 14:37[SPEAKER_07]: How can you put him out there in front of the home crowd first of all?
- 14:41[SPEAKER_07]: I did the math the other day because I made a couple social media posts because I don't want to Sean Watson playing football for my team anymore tired of it
- 14:49[SPEAKER_07]: I guess it's kind of hard to be tired of it because he hasn't done it.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_07]: I guess is my point.
- 14:52[SPEAKER_07]: 68 games have been played.
- 14:56[SPEAKER_07]: The Browns have played 68 regular season games since the trade for Deshawn Watson.
- 15:04[SPEAKER_07]: He has played a 19 of them that is 28% availability.
- 15:15[SPEAKER_07]: Sorry, I know I'm like radio silence here for the audio listeners.
- 15:18[SPEAKER_07]: 28% of availability, why are we messing around?
- 15:24[SPEAKER_07]: Why are we screwing around with this guy?
- 15:25[SPEAKER_07]: Just, it's ridiculous, man.
- 15:28[SPEAKER_07]: I just, if he comes out and he balls out this year, I mean, everybody who wants to just throw crap in my face for some reason, I don't know why.
- 15:36[SPEAKER_07]: I feel like there are people that hate Shidorah Sanders so much that they are just bending over backwards to prop up a guy that they previously despised, and that's how much they hate Shidorah.
- 15:49[SPEAKER_07]: But anyway, just, I don't get it, man.
- 15:52[SPEAKER_07]: I am with you, Cole.
- 15:53[SPEAKER_07]: It does not make a whole heck of a lot of sense.
- 15:55[SPEAKER_07]: All right, moving on here, Kane says, what's up dog, loved all the draft coverage, plus all the information and the mock drafts before that.
- 16:02[SPEAKER_07]: Thank you.
- 16:03[SPEAKER_07]: Perciatey says, there isn't much college football coverage out here in Ireland, so you were able to give me plenty of knowledge on the players for the draft.
- 16:10[SPEAKER_07]: Thank you for the feedback.
- 16:11[SPEAKER_07]: I am glad that what we did pre-draft through the process, helped you understand the players and the prospects and have a little more knowledge that was the whole goal.
- 16:21[SPEAKER_07]: Kane says, don't say it much, but thank you for all that
- 16:25[SPEAKER_07]: On to my question, going to be tail and green related, I'm telling you guys, we're not talking a lot about this kid.
- 16:31[SPEAKER_07]: I think they will go quarterback for him this season with the idea in the back of their minds of converting him for the 2027 season.
- 16:37[SPEAKER_07]: I can see them trying to use him in a tasom hill or just in fields with the Steelers type a role this season, a few packages here and there for him, but as an out and out quarterback, I don't think it's a viable option.
- 16:49[SPEAKER_07]: Do you think that would be a realistic role for him this season?
- 16:52[SPEAKER_07]: Go dogs.
- 16:53[SPEAKER_07]: Yes, I do.
- 16:54[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 16:55[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, no, they're not going to convert him to Widership or this year, even though I think that's what will end up happening.
- 16:59[SPEAKER_07]: I think that's what should happen.
- 17:01[SPEAKER_07]: And I was doing some research the other day.
- 17:05[SPEAKER_07]: And again, you guys are going to hear this a lot, because I'm going to keep talking about it.
- 17:08[SPEAKER_07]: I got some social media stuff to put together with all this.
- 17:10[SPEAKER_07]: There's people out there that just think Tane Lingreen is going to have a legitimate shot to compete for this quarterback one role.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_07]: And I'm just telling you guys,
- 17:20[SPEAKER_07]: No, no, he's not.
- 17:23[SPEAKER_07]: Quarterbacks drafted outside of the first two rounds have a historical hit rate.
- 17:29[SPEAKER_07]: It's not exact, but it is between 10 and 15%.
- 17:34[SPEAKER_07]: Quarterbacks taken in the sixth round.
- 17:37[SPEAKER_07]: So first of all, just outside of the first two rounds, you're already down to a 10 to 15% odds.
- 17:43[SPEAKER_07]: of hitting and sticking as a long-term starter in the NFL.
- 17:48[SPEAKER_07]: Six around.
- 17:50[SPEAKER_07]: I need to pull up the exact, I'm trying to pull everything off my memory from what I researched the other day.
- 17:53[SPEAKER_07]: Six around I think was 5% less than 5% and here's the kicker.
- 18:00[SPEAKER_07]: 6th round cornerbacks with a 60% or lower completion percentage in college, which is what Taylor Green had, and a high turnover rate, which is what Taylor Green had, is a less than 2% less than 1.5% odds.
- 18:20[SPEAKER_07]: It, that's why I say it's not gonna happen.
- 18:23[SPEAKER_07]: He is going to be a guy that this year, I think you'll see in packages like you just said, Cain, think you'll see him.
- 18:29[SPEAKER_07]: I mean, who better to bring in for a quarter-back sneak on the goal line than a six foot, six, 240 pound monster?
- 18:37[SPEAKER_07]: Absolutely.
- 18:38[SPEAKER_07]: Absolutely.
- 18:39[SPEAKER_07]: That's how you use the guy, but another caveat to this is he also, if you're gonna use him in sub packages, he's gotta be available.
- 18:48[SPEAKER_07]: He's got to be part of the actual game day roster.
- 18:51[SPEAKER_07]: So that's the thing, you know, if you're going to, I hadn't really thought that through until I was kind of on the spot here talking to you guys about this.
- 19:01[SPEAKER_07]: it's going to be tough actually now that I think about it's going to be tough to use tail and green in those packages because they usually only keep two active quarterbacks or at least that's what you want plus a third guy who's your emergency QB.
- 19:12[SPEAKER_07]: It's really tough to eat up a third game day active roster spot for an active quarterback.
- 19:20[SPEAKER_07]: not an emergency guy because that doesn't count against your active game day roster, but a third, because that would mean either your starter should door to Sean and then either your backup should door to Sean.
- 19:32[SPEAKER_07]: So there's your two quarterbacks.
- 19:34[SPEAKER_07]: So are you going to keep I don't even give you on the practice squad as your emergency guy, but then also keep a third game active game day quarterback, QB3, talent, green just so you can bring him in on those packages.
- 19:47[SPEAKER_07]: I don't know, man.
- 19:48[SPEAKER_07]: That does seem, okay.
- 19:51[SPEAKER_07]: I'll get back to you guys with this.
- 19:52[SPEAKER_07]: I want to think that through.
- 19:53[SPEAKER_07]: I want to talk to my man, uh, enjoy our tease about that because that could get interesting.
- 20:01[SPEAKER_07]: This episode is sponsored by Kaoshi.
- 20:03[SPEAKER_07]: All right, Browns Vand, you know, we've all messed around with the sports books before, right?
- 20:07[SPEAKER_07]: And let's be honest, you're always kind of playing into the house.
- 20:10[SPEAKER_07]: But with Kaoshi, it's different.
- 20:11[SPEAKER_07]: You're not betting against some sports book.
- 20:14[SPEAKER_07]: You're trading against other real world people.
- 20:17[SPEAKER_07]: There's no house trying to beat you Kaoshi just runs the marketplace.
- 20:21[SPEAKER_07]: So if you think the public is wrong, like everybody's overreacting to these smoke screens in the draft or sleeping on a prospect, you can literally take the other side of the market.
- 20:30[SPEAKER_07]: And it's not just sports, either.
- 20:31[SPEAKER_07]: You can trade on other real-world stuff, interest rates, inflation, even wild weather outcomes.
- 20:36[SPEAKER_07]: It works like this, simple yes or no markets, your risk is capped up front and your payout is locked in.
- 20:41[SPEAKER_07]: So if you trust your takes and instincts, and I know you guys do, go check out Cowshin see what markets are live right now.

- 21:44[SPEAKER_07]: Philip, Kayne, thank you for the message.
- 21:46[SPEAKER_07]: Philip, thank you for the message.
- 21:47[SPEAKER_07]: He says, I want should door to work out for practical reasons alone.
- 21:50[SPEAKER_07]: I'm with you, man.
- 21:51[SPEAKER_07]: Unless we suck so bad that we pick number one next year, we may not get a great quarterback anyways.
- 21:57[SPEAKER_07]: He says, if Watson is amazing, we pick low, but we have to extend him.
- 22:02[SPEAKER_07]: And I'll come back to that.
- 22:03[SPEAKER_07]: He is persona non-ground of for most of it and would make things way too complicated for the team and the fans for the sake of world peace.
- 22:11[SPEAKER_07]: I want Watson to somehow keep sucking and should order just be solid and the next year explode and become the number two pick caliber he was projected to be.
- 22:20[SPEAKER_07]: I somehow feel sorry for Gabriel.
- 22:21[SPEAKER_07]: I wanted him to be good.
- 22:22[SPEAKER_07]: The poor guy is somehow out of the running.
- 22:24[SPEAKER_07]: Will he even be tradable?
- 22:26[SPEAKER_07]: Keep it going.
- 22:27[SPEAKER_07]: Wolf will fill it from Dubai.
- 22:29[SPEAKER_07]: Cool, man.
- 22:30[SPEAKER_07]: Thank you for listening all the way from Dubai.
- 22:32[SPEAKER_07]: We appreciate all you guys are awesome.
- 22:35[SPEAKER_07]: Anyway, all right.
- 22:36[SPEAKER_07]: So let's work our way back through this one.
- 22:39[SPEAKER_07]: Dylan Gabriel.
- 22:40[SPEAKER_07]: I wanted him to be good.
- 22:41[SPEAKER_07]: Poor guy out of the running will even be tradable.
- 22:44[SPEAKER_07]: I mean, it look, if he was Kevin Staphansky's guy, I do think that
- 22:49[SPEAKER_07]: There's a, I mean, it looks bad for Staphansky, I think, if a year after drafting him, the Browns would just like to cut bait and go, just cut him.
- 22:59[SPEAKER_07]: And there could be an opportunity where the Browns, Andrew Barry likes to do these late-round pick swaps.
- 23:05[SPEAKER_07]: So you take a, and I don't even know what the draft capital is for each team.
- 23:09[SPEAKER_07]: I'm just speculating, but you take like a 2027.
- 23:11[SPEAKER_07]: 7th round pick, plus Dylan Gabriel, go to Atlanta with all the rest of the left handed quarterbacks in the NFL, and you send us back a 6 round pick.
- 23:22[SPEAKER_07]: Or an earlier 7th round.
- 23:24[SPEAKER_07]: That's the kind of stuff like you're not going to trade in for anything significant.
- 23:27[SPEAKER_07]: No, we're close to what we invested in the kids for getting third round pick, such a stupid stupid pick.
- 23:34[SPEAKER_07]: But anyway, should door working out for practical reasons?
- 23:37[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I know.
- 23:38[SPEAKER_07]: I keep saying,
- 23:41[SPEAKER_07]: That is your get out of jail free card early of this to Sean Watson debacle and the other thing here that Philip we got to talk about he says to where is it if Watson is amazing we pick low but we have to extend him.
- 23:58[SPEAKER_07]: We don't have to.
- 24:00[SPEAKER_07]: That's a choice.
- 24:02[SPEAKER_07]: That's the first of all.
- 24:02[SPEAKER_07]: If Watson is amazing, not gonna stop thinking in those terms of what if he balls out there, not gonna do an incong ball out, he won't even freaking play seven game, come on guys.
- 24:12[SPEAKER_07]: Like, we've got a lot of history on our side here to project what we can be confident is gonna happen this year.
- 24:20[SPEAKER_07]: It's not gonna be good.
- 24:22[SPEAKER_07]: Could he be better than he was under Kevin's defense key?
- 24:25[SPEAKER_07]: Okay, but that doesn't take much.
- 24:27[SPEAKER_07]: He was the worst quarterback in the league under Kevin's defense key.
- 24:31[SPEAKER_07]: So to be better than that, it doesn't take a whole hell of a lot.
- 24:34[SPEAKER_07]: So yes, is there a world where he's better than what we've seen so far in Cleveland?
- 24:38[SPEAKER_07]: Yes.
- 24:39[SPEAKER_07]: Does that world include him being what we needed him to be when we made the move form?
- 24:44[SPEAKER_07]: Absolutely not.
- 24:45[SPEAKER_07]: It's not gonna happen.
- 24:47[SPEAKER_07]: But in this world that you're laying out here, fill up, I'll play the game.
- 24:52[SPEAKER_07]: We have to extend and if you play as amazing.
- 24:54[SPEAKER_07]: One, no, we don't.
- 24:55[SPEAKER_07]: We don't have to.
- 24:56[SPEAKER_07]: And number two, extending him means he agrees
- 25:01[SPEAKER_07]: There is no, okay.
- 25:03[SPEAKER_07]: Well, we finally got the quarterback we traded for.
- 25:05[SPEAKER_07]: So we're just going to ink him to the three year extension and we're done.
- 25:09[SPEAKER_07]: Now, if you don't want to be here, not if he says, yeah, good.
- 25:13[SPEAKER_07]: I just put out a resume to get myself on another shot on another team away from this fan base that hates me.
- 25:21[SPEAKER_07]: I'm out of here.
- 25:23[SPEAKER_07]: I don't see any way, shape, or form that the Sean Watson is here.
- 25:29[SPEAKER_07]: on an extended contract after 2026, I just don't see it possibly happening.
- 25:40[SPEAKER_07]: But like everything here guys, time will tell.
- 25:43[SPEAKER_07]: Thank you for the message Philip.
- 25:44[SPEAKER_07]: Alright, so we got David from Baltimore says draft was great, no doubt, a stronger offense is going to let the defense eat that set.
- 25:52[SPEAKER_07]: It feels like we're not deep enough at the edge position.
- 25:55[SPEAKER_07]: Looking at the remaining free agents, can we see Jedeva and clown, he returned to Cleveland, while his sack numbers were never amazing.
- 26:01[SPEAKER_07]: He does such a good job.
- 26:02[SPEAKER_07]: Simultaneously stopping the run that I think he'd compliment our linebacker core well.
- 26:07[SPEAKER_07]: My largest hesitation is I know he likes to sign really late in the off season.
- 26:10[SPEAKER_07]: I'd love to see us lock down our roster ASAP.
- 26:13[SPEAKER_07]: Do you think the Browns will pursue a veteran edge rusher before the start of the season and if so?
- 26:18[SPEAKER_07]: Who?
- 26:19[SPEAKER_07]: Well, I don't think it's going to be Geneva in Clownie.
- 26:22[SPEAKER_07]: I don't see him wanting to come back here.
- 26:26[SPEAKER_07]: And I don't see us wanting to go after, how old is your David in Clownie?
- 26:30[SPEAKER_07]: Um, isn't he like, he's pretty old, isn't he?
- 26:33[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, okay.
- 26:34[SPEAKER_07]: So he's 33 years old.
- 26:36[SPEAKER_07]: This is a Browns roster that's trying to get younger, younger, younger.
- 26:40[SPEAKER_07]: I just don't see them.
- 26:42[SPEAKER_07]: Working their way backward for a guy that let's face it didn't really want to be here by the time he's by time his time and Cleveland was up
- 26:52[SPEAKER_07]: he was, he was out the door, man, he didn't want to be here.
- 26:55[SPEAKER_07]: So, yeah, I do not see today being clowning now.
- 26:59[SPEAKER_07]: Could they add a veteran, add Russia?
- 27:02[SPEAKER_07]: Very possible, yes, because they tried to, they tried to add a JAPNESA.
- 27:07[SPEAKER_07]: That didn't work out, failed physical and all that kind of stuff, so they backed out of that signing.
- 27:11[SPEAKER_07]: And I think we got a couple UDFAs.
- 27:14[SPEAKER_07]: that I need to do a UDFA show for you guys here later this week on plan on on that, just to give you the names and positions and guys to be watching.
- 27:24[SPEAKER_07]: Obviously, out of what is a 13, 14, 15 UDFA as we signed, maybe one or two make the team.
- 27:31[SPEAKER_07]: It's usually how it goes.
- 27:33[SPEAKER_07]: Last year, I think we had a couple more just because
- 27:37[SPEAKER_07]: The talent was completely depleted, so we needed more bodies on the roster and the practice squad.
- 27:42[SPEAKER_07]: But this year, the two edge rushers I'm very fascinated with are Logan Fano, Spencer's older brother out of Utah, and then Tyre Sap, the edge rusher out of Florida.
- 27:52[SPEAKER_07]: So we'll talk about those two.
- 27:54[SPEAKER_07]: In more detail than some of the other guys, but let's go over real trick or real trick, real quick here, David from Baltimore.
- 28:02[SPEAKER_07]: Let's let's check out Spotrack.
- 28:04[SPEAKER_07]: I want to look at these free agents.
- 28:05[SPEAKER_07]: Okay, so we got free agent list pulled up here.
- 28:08[SPEAKER_07]: I sorted by market value like the top dude Joey Bosa, not signing with Cleveland.
- 28:14[SPEAKER_07]: Leonard Floyd, he's almost 34 years old, he's going to be too expensive as well, Cameron Jordan.
- 28:21[SPEAKER_07]: Cameron Jordan's interesting, and he's almost 37.
- 28:24[SPEAKER_07]: I don't know.
- 28:24[SPEAKER_07]: Some of these AJNs is the fourth guy on this list.
- 28:27[SPEAKER_07]: Obviously, we're going to be looking below that.
- 28:29[SPEAKER_07]: Ain't going to be Vaughn Miller.
- 28:30[SPEAKER_07]: It's not going to be Judeva in Clownie.
- 28:32[SPEAKER_07]: Dante Fowler, son, Reddick, Clelan Ferrell, Derek Barnett, Kyle V. I mean,
- 28:39[SPEAKER_07]: I don't know, guys.
- 28:40[SPEAKER_07]: I'm not sure if we're really in the market for a big time edgerusher.
- 28:47[SPEAKER_07]: I mean, maybe Obo or Caronqua wants to come back for a year on a, I mean, he's projected at a 1.8 almost $1.9 million one year deal.
- 28:57[SPEAKER_07]: Like that would be something the Browns would do.
- 29:02[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, that's pretty much what I can see right now.
- 29:06[SPEAKER_07]: So once camp starts and over the sub probably that summer break, we'll see if they decide to bring anybody in for training camp.
- 29:13[SPEAKER_07]: I just said, I'm talking mini camping, the OTA's and stuff, but in between that period of time into training camp, we'll see what they decide.
- 29:22[SPEAKER_07]: to do with that position, but I agree with you, David, I think they do need to do a little bit more at the edge position.
- 29:28[SPEAKER_07]: Okay, David actually sent me a few messages, so the second one here he says,
- 29:32[SPEAKER_07]: Did the Browns grab Aaron Anderson with plans for him to be our primary kickoff returner?
- 29:36[SPEAKER_07]: I don't know.
- 29:37[SPEAKER_07]: Um, I'll just be straight.
- 29:39[SPEAKER_07]: I don't know.
- 29:40[SPEAKER_07]: I, Aaron Anderson, why do you see for from LSU is a UDFA we signed and he will be part of the breakdown that I do later this week on the UDFA players that we signed and he's one of the guys I'm more excited about than some of the rest.
- 29:53[SPEAKER_07]: I think excuse me, I think there's a,
- 29:55[SPEAKER_07]: opportunity there.
- 29:57[SPEAKER_07]: For him, obviously, our wide receiver depth chart is now heavily clogged, which is good.
- 30:02[SPEAKER_07]: We needed it to be with players that can actually play the position.
- 30:07[SPEAKER_07]: And we'll see what he can do.
- 30:08[SPEAKER_07]: I need to get stats, numbers, projections for him.
- 30:12[SPEAKER_07]: And so stay tuned, David.
- 30:14[SPEAKER_07]: We'll talk more about Aaron Anderson.
- 30:15[SPEAKER_07]: Then this last one from David.
- 30:17[SPEAKER_07]: says sorry for all the questions.
- 30:18[SPEAKER_07]: Don't be sorry, brother.
- 30:19[SPEAKER_07]: I love answering these things.
- 30:20[SPEAKER_07]: He says, stuck at work.
- 30:21[SPEAKER_07]: Think about the Browns.
- 30:22[SPEAKER_07]: It's far more fun.
- 30:24[SPEAKER_07]: I know it sounds like it shouldn't be, but I've been there too, man.
- 30:27[SPEAKER_07]: He says final bonus question of the day in a way to early prediction, which non-quarterback Browns player do you think?
- 30:34[SPEAKER_07]: has the greatest chance to surpass 1,000 all-purpose yards next season, and if you think there could be more than one which player do you think will do it first.
- 30:43[SPEAKER_07]: My money is on KC, concept Cion, closely followed by Harold, fan and I think Judkins will understandably start slow, but hopefully pick up as the season progresses.
- 30:54[SPEAKER_07]: All-purpose yards, yeah dude, my money would be on KC.
- 30:58[SPEAKER_07]: Especially if we were going to use them as our primary punt returner.
- 31:01[SPEAKER_07]: You want to talk about all purpose, 1000 yard season.
- 31:04[SPEAKER_07]: Yes, Casey concepts you own.
- 31:05[SPEAKER_07]: That's where you want to put your money.
- 31:07[SPEAKER_07]: Because he's going to do it in the receiving game.
- 31:10[SPEAKER_07]: And then he's going to do it in the return game as long as we use them there.
- 31:13[SPEAKER_07]: So definitely with you, Casey, for sure on that one.
- 31:18[SPEAKER_07]: Okay, I think that's everybody.
- 31:21[SPEAKER_07]: Yep, those are all my messages from the website.
- 31:25[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, Mama, do I ever have a lot of, a lot of voice mail to get to?
- 31:30[SPEAKER_07]: Okay, we're gonna start things off here.
- 31:33[SPEAKER_07]: We got Joshua from draft night on April 23.
- 31:39[SPEAKER_11]: Okay, dog spot cast social worker Josh here out in Portland, Oregon.
- 31:43[SPEAKER_11]: Just want to say, you guys haven't gotten to the Browns pick on the podcast yet, but you're going to be excited.
- 31:49[SPEAKER_11]: You guys, we got a wide receiver and potentially a wide receiver one, KC concept she owned.
- 31:57[SPEAKER_11]: I will take it.
- 31:58[SPEAKER_11]: I will take it.
- 31:59[SPEAKER_11]: Andrew Barry, thank you for not taking a giant Cleveland steamer on our chest.
- 32:04[SPEAKER_11]: maybe like the caps did tonight.
- 32:06[SPEAKER_11]: It's okay.
- 32:07[SPEAKER_11]: I think it's a good loss for the caps.
- 32:09[SPEAKER_11]: That's another conversation for another time.
- 32:11[SPEAKER_11]: Go Docs.
- 32:13[SPEAKER_07]: All right.
- 32:13[SPEAKER_07]: Well, that was a fun one from draft night.
- 32:15[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 32:15[SPEAKER_07]: I mean, leading up to pick 24.
- 32:18[SPEAKER_07]: It was like, please, please, please, take Casey conception and we did, man.
- 32:22[SPEAKER_07]: I was so upon when we got him.
- 32:24[SPEAKER_07]: And yeah, calves also lost that night.
- 32:27[SPEAKER_07]: Not great.
- 32:29[SPEAKER_07]: We can have that conversation was a good loss or not.
- 32:31[SPEAKER_07]: We went all the way to Game Freak in seven with the Raptors.
- 32:33[SPEAKER_07]: But hey, we pulled it out.
- 32:34[SPEAKER_07]: We won last night, awesome.
- 32:36[SPEAKER_07]: So we move on.
- 32:37[SPEAKER_07]: Play the pistons tomorrow.
- 32:38[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 32:39[SPEAKER_07]: So we'll see if the calves can
- 32:43[SPEAKER_07]: pull something together for us, Cleveland fans, but social worker Josh, thank you for your reaction from draft night.
- 32:51[SPEAKER_07]: Justin, your voice mail up next.
- 32:53[SPEAKER_12]: What's up, dog podcast?
- 32:54[SPEAKER_12]: You're from the neighborhood Browns fan out here in Jersey.
- 32:57[SPEAKER_12]: As chairman here with the draft reactions, we just picked a 24 with a KC conception.
- 33:03[SPEAKER_12]: Hey.
- 33:03[SPEAKER_12]: I'm not complaining, I'm happy, you know, like I would have preferred Tater Love at 6, but they were gone and, you know, they took my guy and we got the best lineman in the draft with Fano.
- 33:17[SPEAKER_12]: So, hey, we got the best lineman in the draft and, you know, it took Casey conception.
- 33:22[SPEAKER_12]: I would have preferred Denzel Boston there, but, you know, I also like Casey conception, you know, if you work, if you can work on his hands a little bit, you know.
- 33:33[SPEAKER_12]: You can be a very exciting receiver for us, so overall, you know, my reaction is actually happy if we wouldn't have taken a receiver at 24.
- 33:41[SPEAKER_12]: I would have not had the same voicemail here But anyway, here we are we got we got KC conception and and fan over the best lineman in the draft, so let's go browns.
- 33:52[SPEAKER_07]: Oh
- 33:52[SPEAKER_07]: All right, Justin, great to hear your initial reaction from Thursday night right after the first round wrapped up and we came away with your dude by the way, thank you.
- 34:00[SPEAKER_07]: I got to see.
- 34:01[SPEAKER_07]: This is why I love doing this show for you guys, for the fans because you guys give a whole hell of a lot back to me too.
- 34:08[SPEAKER_07]: Justin Jersey Justin.
- 34:10[SPEAKER_07]: He's a dog pack member has been berating me via voicemail and discord messages for the last however many weeks month before the draft Spencer Fano best alignment in the draft best alignment in the draft.
- 34:26[SPEAKER_07]: Come on Josh.
- 34:26[SPEAKER_07]: Come on.
- 34:27[SPEAKER_07]: Come on.
- 34:27[SPEAKER_07]: Come on.
- 34:28[SPEAKER_07]: Come on.
- 34:29[SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
- 34:29[SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
- 34:29[SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
- 34:30[SPEAKER_07]: Let me do some more research.
- 34:31[SPEAKER_07]: Let me really dig into this kid.
- 34:33[SPEAKER_07]: And Justin got me.
- 34:35[SPEAKER_07]: He got me there.
- 34:36[SPEAKER_07]: I fully bought in by the time I was done looking into Spencer Fano.
- 34:41[SPEAKER_07]: I was fully bought in said at six if we have to and I was still, you know, obviously I was take Cardinal take please, but he wasn't available.
- 34:48[SPEAKER_07]: But before the draft, it was Cardinal Tade, if he's not there, or if they are locked into offensive line, and that's just what they're going to take.
- 34:55[SPEAKER_07]: Please don't take Caden Proctor.
- 34:57[SPEAKER_07]: Please don't take Monroe Freeling.
- 34:59[SPEAKER_07]: Take Spencer Fano.
- 35:00[SPEAKER_07]: Justin got me there, man.
- 35:01[SPEAKER_07]: And that's why this show is so good, because...
- 35:04[SPEAKER_07]: I talked to you guys about what I find my research, my thoughts, opinions, but you talk right back to me.
- 35:09[SPEAKER_07]: You guys tell me what you think and what you want and all that kind of stuff and just made me a believer.
- 35:16[SPEAKER_07]: And now we hopefully fingers crossed because you never know until things happen or on the field, but I think we're in a very good spot to have our left tackle of the future.
- 35:25[SPEAKER_07]: And if he's not left tackle the future, there's not a doubt in my mind the Spencer
- 35:34[SPEAKER_07]: for the Browns for a long time.
- 35:36[SPEAKER_07]: So great pick by the Browns.
- 35:38[SPEAKER_07]: And Justin, I love hearing these voicemails and the reactions from draft night before round two, because
- 35:45[SPEAKER_07]: You know, like you said, you said in there, oh, I wish we'd gotten Denzel Boston.
- 35:48[SPEAKER_07]: We got Denzel Boston, a night two.
- 35:51[SPEAKER_07]: Man, this was such a good draft.
- 35:52[SPEAKER_07]: So thank you Justin, appreciate hearing from you buddy.
- 35:55[SPEAKER_07]: The next one, next VM is from Philip.
- 35:58[SPEAKER_01]: Hey guys, how you doing?
- 35:59[SPEAKER_01]: Philip, you're from Dubai.
- 36:01[SPEAKER_01]: So that was a solid life stream.
- 36:03[SPEAKER_01]: So congrats to you guys for that.
- 36:04[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't watch a life.
- 36:05[SPEAKER_01]: I watched the real life basically.
- 36:08[SPEAKER_01]: I have to say Enrobury did a solid, solid job here on the, on the first round and make it, there's only just some, some right here.
- 36:16[SPEAKER_01]: Quantity on is one of the first tier white receivers in this class we got one of them that's great So we wanted when you did in a tackle we got the first one of the boards So they had their pick and they must have their reasons for pay a phono I did some research with AI and I just said there is absolutely there has been done from proper research There's zero zero correlation between arm lengths and success in the NFL So I am not worried at all.
- 36:42[SPEAKER_01]: I'm still surprised that even being talked about probably just media needing some clicks
- 36:46[SPEAKER_01]: but that is, I mean, I like Fano.
- 36:48[SPEAKER_01]: But looking at him in the way he reacted, how happy he was to be paid.
- 36:52[SPEAKER_01]: This shows me that's what we kind of, you know, drafting good human beings.
- 36:57[SPEAKER_01]: And we all love Betonio.
- 37:00[SPEAKER_01]: So I think that's what we're looking for.
- 37:01[SPEAKER_01]: We want good guys that are ballers and that also at the same time, I'll really kind human beings.
- 37:06[SPEAKER_01]: And in the end, we can't be that just functional if we have a GM that is being given the long leash to do that.
- 37:12[SPEAKER_01]: and who cast who drafts those people.
- 37:15[SPEAKER_01]: So in the end, I'm happy with that draft.
- 37:17[SPEAKER_01]: I think that was a solid first day.
- 37:19[SPEAKER_01]: Let's hope the second day continues like this.
- 37:21[SPEAKER_01]: Woo, woo, go Browns.
- 37:23[SPEAKER_07]: All right, Philip, okay.
- 37:24[SPEAKER_07]: You got your messages on the website and got your voice Mills here.
- 37:26[SPEAKER_07]: It's great to hear from you, man.
- 37:29[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I came out in
- 37:35[SPEAKER_07]: to make the pick of Spencer Fano.
- 37:38[SPEAKER_07]: I believe Andrew Barry gave the floor to the lead scout who was responsible for, I don't know if it was the offensive line players or whatever.
- 37:47[SPEAKER_07]: And they said essentially, look, we're not just getting, we're going to take Spencer Fano here.
- 37:52[SPEAKER_07]: We're not just getting an elite player, but we're getting the best person in the entire draft.
- 37:58[SPEAKER_07]: And I thought that was
- 38:05[SPEAKER_07]: this team.
- 38:05[SPEAKER_07]: And again, I got a question now with Kevin gone with deep dust to gone.
- 38:12[SPEAKER_07]: How much of the questionable players that were brought in here were Andrew Barry's doing and how much of it was Paul and or Kevin pushing for it.
- 38:26[SPEAKER_07]: Because we have over the years brought in quite a few players that maybe not the best people.
- 38:32[SPEAKER_07]: But yeah, I feel like Andrew Barry really, really bucked that trend now this year, especially with getting the players he got, headline by Spencer Fano.
- 38:46[SPEAKER_07]: I'm very excited.
- 38:47[SPEAKER_07]: So thank you guys for all your messages, about Spencer Fano, about getting him and him as a player, him as a person, because I think it has gone really well for the Browns, getting him.
- 38:58[SPEAKER_07]: I think we're really gonna be happy.
- 39:00[SPEAKER_07]: All right, next one here is from Adam.
- 39:03[SPEAKER_09]: Boys, it's Adam.
- 39:05[SPEAKER_09]: I wanted to go ahead and give my take on day one of the drafts.
- 39:08[SPEAKER_09]: First and foremost, I think I created a monster in my home Because the second that Tennessee selected Carnal Tate, Cooper immediately burst into tears.
- 39:18[SPEAKER_09]: So, you know,
- 39:20[SPEAKER_09]: tough tough to take.
- 39:22[SPEAKER_09]: I think the Browns are the best they could with where the pieces were falling.
- 39:28[SPEAKER_09]: You know, Fano, I saw the phone call from Andrew Barry to him.
- 39:32[SPEAKER_09]: All this conversation about him playing at other parts of now.
- 39:36[SPEAKER_09]: Andrew Barry said this dude is going to be a franchise left tackle.
- 39:39[SPEAKER_09]: That's your left tackle right there.
- 39:41[SPEAKER_09]: Casey conception.
- 39:43[SPEAKER_09]: I think that he's on immensely talented
- 39:46[SPEAKER_09]: Here's my problem.
- 39:47[SPEAKER_09]: Over the last 10 years I looked it up.
- 39:50[SPEAKER_09]: How many wide receivers had over a thousand yards receiving under six foot tall on the NFL?
- 39:54[SPEAKER_09]: And I found five and only two of them had multiple seasons.
- 39:57[SPEAKER_09]: I was Tyree Kill and Tyler Lockett.
- 40:00[SPEAKER_09]: So while conception is probably a great weapon and he's probably predominantly going to be working out of the slot, maybe wide receiver too.
- 40:07[SPEAKER_09]: This still keeps people like Jerry Joodie and Tillman in the mix in our wide receiver room.
- 40:15[SPEAKER_09]: Maybe, you know, okay, you had Boston there that you could have taken on 24, but I guess my big thing is is we're not addressing The ability for sure Sanders to push down field and I feel like that's what's gonna hit him and his ability to be our quarterback in the future All right, Adam, appreciate the voice man.
- 40:32[SPEAKER_07]: I Tell Cooper.
- 40:34[SPEAKER_07]: I'm sorry, man.
- 40:35[SPEAKER_07]: I know we got him all excited about Cardinal Tate as well.
- 40:38[SPEAKER_07]: Look
- 40:39[SPEAKER_07]: There's a Cooper buddy.
- 40:42[SPEAKER_07]: Don't feel bad about crying about that.
- 40:44[SPEAKER_07]: I was holding back my own tears.
- 40:46[SPEAKER_07]: Okay, when we hit pick four, and the Titans took my man car now and said, gosh darn frickin' Titans, I just had a feeling.
- 40:54[SPEAKER_07]: I just had the bad feeling.
- 40:56[SPEAKER_07]: We weren't even gonna get the option to pick car and I'll take it six, but that's how it goes, man.
- 41:02[SPEAKER_07]: That's just how the,
- 41:03[SPEAKER_07]: The board falls sometimes, doesn't always go your way, but sometimes it does go your way and you get spent your final, you get Casey Conceptio and then they'll Boston, then you get Emmanuel McNawar and things are just awesome, you know, so I don't want to complain too much because it was a great draft.
- 41:18[SPEAKER_07]: As far as the research though, Adam, maybe I missed what you were search query there, but
- 41:26[SPEAKER_07]: wide receivers in the last 10 years with a thousand yard seasons who are under six feet tall.
- 41:33[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, well, I was going to say DJ Moore's had four one thousand yard seasons almost five just a couple yard shy in 2024, but he's actually six.
- 41:41[SPEAKER_07]: I thought DJ Moore was like five 11, but I guess it depends on what
- 41:45[SPEAKER_07]: I think you should, I think you should look at six feet and under because there's a lot of wider seabers who are 5-11 that's end up getting listed at six foot.
- 41:53[SPEAKER_07]: I wouldn't be surprised if Casey conception two, three years down the road, you're on ESPN or something NFL.com and you're looking up his profile and he's listed at six foot.
- 42:02[SPEAKER_07]: That's just kind of what ends up happening in Tonya Brown was five ten and that's who Casey conception gets mocked or comp to quite a bit with this play style and everything so we'll see I understand I know a lot of people are just out on receivers if they are under six feet tall I get it.
- 42:24[SPEAKER_07]: I think it's not the greatest starting point for an evaluation of a receiver
- 42:30[SPEAKER_07]: I don't like to entertain guys that are under 5-10, but I think 5-10, 5-11.
- 42:36[SPEAKER_07]: That's okay.
- 42:37[SPEAKER_07]: That's okay.
- 42:38[SPEAKER_07]: It's about, how do you play the position at that point?
- 42:40[SPEAKER_07]: I mean, it's, how do you play the position at any?
- 42:43[SPEAKER_07]: Any height, because obviously we've got six foot.
- 42:46[SPEAKER_07]: three or how our tall said retombin is and he sucks so it height isn't everything height is not everything it's can you play can you separate can you do things on the field that the other players at your position just aren't as good at and I think Casey could set the ones I kind of got.

- 45:29[SPEAKER_07]: All right.
- 45:29[SPEAKER_07]: Let's move on here.
- 45:30[SPEAKER_07]: Devante is up next.
- 45:32[SPEAKER_04]: Hey, Father's with Devante.
- 45:33[SPEAKER_04]: He's been a while.
- 45:33[SPEAKER_04]: So he's called in.
- 45:35[SPEAKER_04]: Of course.
- 45:35[SPEAKER_04]: You know, we got to talk about the draft.
- 45:37[SPEAKER_04]: So that draft was amazing.
- 45:40[SPEAKER_04]: A plus day one day two.
- 45:43[SPEAKER_04]: I'm actually traveling here so I'm really going to watch stage three, but from where I looked at, we picked up pieces that were needed picked up, which is again amazing.
- 45:53[SPEAKER_04]: I truly believe this defoundation of it.
- 45:56[SPEAKER_04]: I put it in the discord and I'll say here last year was the foundation.
- 46:01[SPEAKER_04]: Just like a house built the foundation first, make sure the foundation is solid.
- 46:05[SPEAKER_04]: We got solid pieces.
- 46:06[SPEAKER_04]: Next year, next, you want to do the beams and the drywall and the doors and the windows.
- 46:15[SPEAKER_04]: That's what this year is.
- 46:17[SPEAKER_04]: If everything pans out and players from last year, set up this year, players from this draft set up, next year, the draft will be.
- 46:26[SPEAKER_04]: may need to get as whoever, that'll all be one of the directors, because everybody will be there.
- 46:31[SPEAKER_04]: That'll all be the fastest stuff, that'll be the Chandler, hanging in the liberal room, that'll be the 85th and screen TV, that'll be all that stuff.
- 46:41[SPEAKER_04]: I'm very happy for the shirt.
- 46:43[SPEAKER_04]: I'm very proud of what A.B.
- 46:46[SPEAKER_04]: did for this team.
- 46:46[SPEAKER_04]: I really gave fans something to look forward to.
- 46:49[SPEAKER_04]: So let's go brownies.
- 46:51[SPEAKER_07]: Boom.
- 46:51[SPEAKER_07]: Very good way to lay that out, Devonta.
- 46:54[SPEAKER_07]: I really enjoyed your analogy there.
- 46:57[SPEAKER_07]: Or is that a metaphor?
- 46:58[SPEAKER_07]: I can never remember.
- 46:59[SPEAKER_07]: I can never keep those two straight.
- 47:00[SPEAKER_07]: But I really like how you put that.
- 47:04[SPEAKER_07]: And at the end, you said something that stuck with me.
- 47:08[SPEAKER_07]: And it was, you were proud.
- 47:11[SPEAKER_07]: And I feel like his browns fans, we don't get to say that.
- 47:14[SPEAKER_07]: We don't get to feel that.
- 47:15[SPEAKER_07]: I'll hold hell of a lot.
- 47:16[SPEAKER_07]: And walking out of the draft with all the national people, everybody who breaks down draft classes and gives grades and that kind of stuff, everybody's gone.
- 47:31[SPEAKER_07]: Browns either had the best or one of the top drafts in this entire, in the entire league.
- 47:38[SPEAKER_07]: And that's just, let's just enjoy that for as long as we can here.
- 47:45[SPEAKER_07]: It was an amazing weekend.
- 47:48[SPEAKER_07]: Like you said, build a strong foundation last year.
- 47:51[SPEAKER_07]: We added some incredible components to it this year, obviously.
- 47:57[SPEAKER_07]: It all has to play out on the field.
- 47:58[SPEAKER_07]: I get that.
- 47:59[SPEAKER_07]: But right now we're not on the field.
- 48:00[SPEAKER_07]: We're only on paper looking at this stuff.
- 48:01[SPEAKER_07]: And, poor, man did we do a good job.
- 48:04[SPEAKER_07]: As far as the paper is concerned.
- 48:07[SPEAKER_07]: So thank you Devante, appreciate you as always, man.
- 48:11[SPEAKER_07]: All right, next up is Be Rad Money Maker, and I am sure, obviously I haven't listened yet, but I am sure there will be a song to open this one up.
- 48:20[SPEAKER_10]: This is how we do it, this is how we do it, kind of, don't, don't, don't, don't.
- 48:26[SPEAKER_10]: Man, I don't know where the Sandra Bear came from, but thank you Lord Jesus, that Paul Pete Podesta is gone and not babysitting anymore, because Andrew Berry absolutely lit the draft on fire.
- 48:46[SPEAKER_10]: And we got a ton of great players, there was a ton of trades up, down, around town, you know, like when you're in Pittsburgh, you're around, you know, you're going down town, and around town, that's kind of how Barry was working, man, he's around downtown.
- 49:03[SPEAKER_10]: Man, it was just, uh, that was great to go to the draft too, um, and uh, see the players get drafted and hang out with Nate, meet some people, um, it was, it was awesome weather too, and uh, just,
- 49:16[SPEAKER_10]: Awesome draft all together.
- 49:17[SPEAKER_10]: I was I'm really pumped for this season and we'll see how we do man pump for the off season Let's go Browns And I'm super excited for Denzel Boston.
- 49:28[SPEAKER_10]: Let's go.
- 49:29[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I knew it Brad never disappoints with the song in the voicemail Brad.
- 49:34[SPEAKER_07]: Thank you very much.
- 49:35[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah
- 49:36[SPEAKER_07]: I'm glad you had a great time in Pittsburgh for the draft.
- 49:40[SPEAKER_07]: I've actually never attended an NFL draft myself.
- 49:43[SPEAKER_07]: Would love to do it sometime.
- 49:44[SPEAKER_07]: It's tough because we always do a live stream for the draft.
- 49:48[SPEAKER_07]: As long as we have a first round pick, we're doing the first round.
- 49:51[SPEAKER_07]: If it's not the years we did, we did the second round.
- 49:54[SPEAKER_07]: So it's kind of tough to coordinate all that, plus try to, you know, arrange a trip.
- 49:59[SPEAKER_07]: But if the draft does come back to Cleveland, maybe we'll try to make something happen and figure a more interactive way to be on site or, I don't know, we'll figure something out.
- 50:09[SPEAKER_07]: But that's awesome.
- 50:10[SPEAKER_07]: I'm glad you guys had a great time.
- 50:11[SPEAKER_07]: I'm glad you and Nate enjoyed it.
- 50:13[SPEAKER_07]: And I hope you're not still speaking, like a pit burgy in because the insurs get out of here with that stuff.
- 50:22[SPEAKER_07]: Next, voicemail is from Gabriel.
- 50:25[SPEAKER_07]: This one should be interesting because he is our resident Buccaneers fan.
- 50:30[SPEAKER_03]: You know it's podcasts, you're fucking used for it, give it a rose back again.
- 50:35[SPEAKER_03]: I thought it's after the NFL draft.
- 50:37[SPEAKER_03]: Thank the Lord, the fucking used draft and proven Ben Jr.
- 50:41[SPEAKER_03]: I want nothing to do with Kenny and Sidney.
- 50:44[SPEAKER_03]: Josh, you convinced me that the Sidney was basically just going to be another O.J.
- 50:49[SPEAKER_03]: Howard.
- 50:50[SPEAKER_03]: And that was my mindset, this entire first round.
- 50:53[SPEAKER_03]: And I am thankful that they got proven Ben Jr. And for my birthday now, I'm going to be asking for a proven Ben Jr.
- 51:01[SPEAKER_03]: For the rest of my draft, I'm very, very happy with the results.
- 51:05[SPEAKER_03]: I'm very shocked that the Buccaneers land in Tenerst.
- 51:09[SPEAKER_03]: I'm going to be looking forward to seeing how he works with the other receivers, but it also, overall, I'm very, also impressed with your draft, too, that you're able to land in Cepsion and Boston.
- 51:20[SPEAKER_03]: I hope you're forward to seeing what that offensive looks like now with either Watson or Schroer.
- 51:24[SPEAKER_03]: But anyway, I just wanted to send this in.
- 51:26[SPEAKER_03]: Go to Oxpock Gas, and go around.
- 51:30[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, nice draft for you guys down there in Tampa Bay, Gabriel.
- 51:33[SPEAKER_07]: I, man, Tedhurst, if you guys know, I loved Tedhurst in the process here this year.
- 51:40[SPEAKER_07]: And if the Browns did not go with two wide receivers early, Tedhurst was the guy I wanted.
- 51:46[SPEAKER_07]: You know, if we only went with Cardinal Tate early, or we only took a guy at 24, then it was like, get me freaking Tedhurst.
- 51:54[SPEAKER_07]: I think he's going to be a very good NFL receiver.
- 51:57[SPEAKER_07]: But we got concept soon and Denzel Boston to boot.
- 52:00[SPEAKER_07]: So I'm very excited about that.
- 52:03[SPEAKER_07]: And I hope somebody does get you your Ruben Bay and Junior jersey.
- 52:06[SPEAKER_07]: So you can rock that when you go to the games.
- 52:09[SPEAKER_07]: And yeah, so good luck down there.
- 52:11[SPEAKER_07]: I think you guys got a good, a young, up-and-coming wide receiver duo with a mechagbuka, obviously, from Ohio State last year's first round pick for you guys, and now Ted Hurst could be very sneaky good in Tampa Bay.
- 52:27[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, and I forgot you mentioned about Kenyan Sadik.
- 52:31[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, okay, so...
- 52:33[SPEAKER_07]: I might, my pre-draft prediction that Kenyan Sidique would end up being a O.J.
- 52:38[SPEAKER_07]: Howard style bust, which you're very familiar with O.J.
- 52:41[SPEAKER_07]: Howard as a buck in your fan.
- 52:42[SPEAKER_07]: That's where he busted.
- 52:43[SPEAKER_07]: Him going, it's a deep going to the Jets really plays well into my prediction.
- 52:47[SPEAKER_07]: He's going to be a bust because I can't see anybody succeeding in that New York Jets offense.
- 52:53[SPEAKER_07]: So, at least for the first year or two, I think I can probably stand on that one and say, look, I said Kenyan Sidique wasn't going to be any good.
- 52:59[SPEAKER_07]: Now we'll see maybe he ends up
- 53:01[SPEAKER_07]: busting out over the length of his career, but things do not look good starting out, especially since they also dress it drafted Omar Cooper Jr.
- 53:11[SPEAKER_07]: So now it's like, they got Mason Taylor there, you're still hopefully throwing the ball to Bryce Hall, RIP my dynasty team because gosh, I wish you would have gone somewhere else.
- 53:19[SPEAKER_07]: But anyhow, that's beyond the point.
- 53:23[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 53:27[SPEAKER_07]: So
- 53:28[SPEAKER_07]: All right, we're getting closer to the end here.
- 53:30[SPEAKER_07]: This voice mail show, this listener feedback.
- 53:32[SPEAKER_07]: So I appreciate you.
- 53:34[SPEAKER_07]: I appreciate everybody who sent stuff in here.
- 53:36[SPEAKER_07]: And once they interact with the show, and then listen along here, it's a ton of fun.
- 53:40[SPEAKER_07]: This next one is from our Guy Thrilla in Canada.
- 53:44[SPEAKER_13]: Hey guys, Billard from Canada, just wanted to say a quick couple of things about the draft and really the first five picks which are the most important ones of my opinion, but we finally drafted for need which was nice after the free agent pickups for the O line as well as drafting
- 54:14[SPEAKER_13]: And then we finally got some wide receivers, which was nice, and I love McNeil Warren.
- 54:20[SPEAKER_13]: I think this guy's gonna ball out and just be a wrecking ball this year.
- 54:28[SPEAKER_13]: So that's it.
- 54:30[SPEAKER_13]: Great draft.
- 54:31[SPEAKER_13]: I don't really know anything about the the other guys, and
- 54:36[SPEAKER_13]: or any of the UDFA's that we picked up, but at least we got some depth, depth, we need a lot of players, so in special teams need to be really revamped, so I think it's going to be a great year, hopefully.
- 54:51[SPEAKER_07]: Thank you, Thriller's, Thriller's just an awesome dude.
- 54:54[SPEAKER_07]: You got to hang out with him at a tailgate for the, what was that?
- 54:56[SPEAKER_07]: The Chargers game, a couple of years back, we were up there and just an awesome guy.
- 55:01[SPEAKER_07]: A lot of fun and I agree, man, that special teams definitely as much as we added to the offensive line and the wider receiver core, obviously, one very under-talked about potentially big improvement for 2026 is the special team's units because
- 55:20[SPEAKER_07]: As you guys all know very well, unfortunately as Browns fans, the special teams straight up, cost us freaking games last year.
- 55:26[SPEAKER_07]: I mean, the jets, guys, we lost to the jets.
- 55:32[SPEAKER_07]: Oh my gosh.
- 55:34[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 55:35[SPEAKER_07]: special teams were bad.
- 55:36[SPEAKER_07]: Getting a guy like Justin Jefferson, the linebacker out of Alabama, who projects to be a primarily a special team's leader as a rookie.
- 55:45[SPEAKER_07]: I don't think he's going to he's not going to be playing over Quincy Williams, or anybody in the linebacking core.
- 55:49[SPEAKER_07]: I think he'll rotate through, but special teams is where he's going to make his mark early on in his career.
- 55:56[SPEAKER_07]: That was a great move.
- 55:57[SPEAKER_07]: You got to guys that can play these positions, and just get in case he accepts the owner who can return a freaking kick.
- 56:02[SPEAKER_07]: We haven't had that forever.
- 56:05[SPEAKER_07]: And just we got new special teams.
- 56:07[SPEAKER_07]: Coordinator, there's reason to be hopeful that we're not going to be bottom of the league yet again in specialty ands and offense, cause true man.
- 56:19[SPEAKER_07]: I cannot stress enough how bad those last two years were guys.
- 56:21[SPEAKER_07]: You guys know you watched it with us.
- 56:23[SPEAKER_07]: So we've all been there together.
- 56:25[SPEAKER_07]: We've been through the struggle.
- 56:26[SPEAKER_07]: We've been through the fire.
- 56:26[SPEAKER_07]: So we're coming out with some renewed optimism heading into 2026 thriller.
- 56:31[SPEAKER_07]: Thank you for that.
- 56:32[SPEAKER_07]: All right.
- 56:33[SPEAKER_07]: Got a couple left here.
- 56:33[SPEAKER_07]: This one is from Gauge.
- 56:35[SPEAKER_02]: Hey, what's up, guys?
- 56:37[SPEAKER_02]: It's gauge, just calling in, you know, looking at what we did during free agency and in the draft recently.
- 56:47[SPEAKER_02]: My biggest winner for the team is Shidorah Sanders.
- 56:53[SPEAKER_02]: Clearly,
- 57:01[SPEAKER_02]: the pieces to surround him with, to give him a fair evaluation to see if he can be the guy.
- 57:08[SPEAKER_02]: No, we've had as a lot to help him out this year.
- 57:12[SPEAKER_02]: So honestly, to me, there's really going to be the room for any excuses for anyone to lay all I wanted to call in for.
- 57:22[SPEAKER_02]: That's my biggest winner of this offseason for the Browns.
- 57:26[SPEAKER_02]: I'm interested to hear your thoughts on that.
- 57:28[SPEAKER_07]: Thank you, Gage.
- 57:30[SPEAKER_07]: Always great to hear from YouTube, buddy.
- 57:31[SPEAKER_07]: I mean, you guys are hearing from a lot of these call-ins or from members of our dogpack community, join the dogs.com in the discord.
- 57:41[SPEAKER_07]: Just guys are awesome.
- 57:42[SPEAKER_07]: Love hanging out with you guys in here, and your takes and your feedback, and your questions and all that.
- 57:47[SPEAKER_07]: So I would like to do an episode, and it's one I'd rather not do alone.
- 57:52[SPEAKER_07]: I'd like to do it with Blake and Justin, get the whole crew together, but talk about winners and losers.
- 57:56[SPEAKER_07]: from the draft and the off season for the Browns right now.
- 57:59[SPEAKER_07]: But definitely, definitely, you can't look at Shidorah Sanders and not say clear cup winner.
- 58:05[SPEAKER_07]: You got Casey Conception Denzo by we got two real actual NFL wide receivers on this roster.
- 58:13[SPEAKER_07]: And now Jerry Judy's your wide receiver three, we don't have the worry about Senator Tillman anymore.
- 58:16[SPEAKER_07]: We're not throwing desperate heaves to the end zone to gauge L'Aurvedan.
- 58:22[SPEAKER_07]: Let's get some real freakin' players on the field for this kid.
- 58:26[SPEAKER_07]: And the offensive line is a huge upgrade for him.
- 58:31[SPEAKER_07]: It's just, you're absolutely right, Gage.
- 58:33[SPEAKER_07]: Shoulder Sanders, clear winner, whether he starts the season or not.
- 58:36[SPEAKER_07]: I know I'm very hell bent on to Sean Watson should not play a game for the Browns.
- 58:41[SPEAKER_07]: It's just not a good idea.
- 58:43[SPEAKER_07]: It's not, just doesn't benefit us in any way, in my opinion.
- 58:48[SPEAKER_07]: But,
- 58:49[SPEAKER_07]: You know, if the Sean Watson is still as bad as I believe he is, then even if he does start, it won't be long, guys.
- 58:56[SPEAKER_07]: They won't be, we should doorstanders will play this year at some point whether you start the season or comes in week three, week four, whatever up to the Sean shows.
- 59:02[SPEAKER_07]: He's clearly not the answer again.
- 59:04[SPEAKER_07]: And when he should door does play, you're right, that no excuse is for either guy by the way.
- 59:10[SPEAKER_07]: So there's no rust, guys.
- 59:12[SPEAKER_07]: I have no rust.
- 59:13[SPEAKER_07]: There will be no rust.
- 59:15[SPEAKER_07]: excuses for the Sean Watson when he comes out and sucks in week one if they name in the starter.
- 59:20[SPEAKER_07]: There will be no excuses for Shador Sanders.
- 59:23[SPEAKER_07]: If he does not make a dramatic improvement from year one to year two with everything the Browns have done to support that position.
- 59:29[SPEAKER_07]: So I'm with you, gauge.
- 59:31[SPEAKER_07]: I believe in Shador.
- 59:32[SPEAKER_07]: I do think he's got what it takes.
- 59:35[SPEAKER_07]: but it's got to come to fruition on the field.
- 59:37[SPEAKER_07]: That's the only place that truly matters.
- 59:39[SPEAKER_07]: It doesn't matter what I think, what matters is how it ends up working out on the field.
- 59:44[SPEAKER_07]: So, appreciate you gauge.
- 59:46[SPEAKER_07]: As always, last voicemail for today, this one is from Liam.
- 59:50[SPEAKER_08]: What is a dog's podcast?
- 59:53[SPEAKER_08]: It is Liam calling in from Calgary, Alberta.
- 59:57[SPEAKER_08]: And after that draft from Andrew Barry and the Cleveland Browns, there is only one question on my mind.
- 1:00:04[SPEAKER_08]: What jersey do I buy first?
- 1:00:06[SPEAKER_08]: What an amazing draft from the Browns?
- 1:00:08[SPEAKER_08]: I can't believe it.
- 1:00:09[SPEAKER_08]: We are so back.
- 1:00:11[SPEAKER_08]: This is incredible.
- 1:00:13[SPEAKER_08]: I just called in to say how excited them but the season and travel
- 1:00:19[SPEAKER_08]: to the Browns finish second in the AFC North next year, ahead of Baltimore, and ahead of Pittsburgh.
- 1:00:26[SPEAKER_08]: Go dogs.
- 1:00:27[SPEAKER_07]: Ooh!
- 1:00:28[SPEAKER_07]: Man, I love one of Good Show comes together without me actually planning it out that way, Liam.
- 1:00:32[SPEAKER_07]: Thank you for wrapping up this episode with an excellent voice mail to End on.
- 1:00:38[SPEAKER_07]: Jersey, go get a casey concept, see on Jersey, baby number one, seven, seventeen, let's get this guy, let's rock him, let's rep him.
- 1:00:46[SPEAKER_07]: If you've already got your 12 jersey from last year for Shidorah Sanders, just put a little tape over the back, it's a Denzel Boston jersey now.
- 1:00:51[SPEAKER_07]: You guys, if you see me wearing a 12 jersey, it's a Denzel Boston jersey.
- 1:00:54[SPEAKER_07]: That's right, I, um, yeah, those are,
- 1:00:59[SPEAKER_07]: The Browns nailed it.
- 1:01:00[SPEAKER_07]: By the way, winner are rookie, though for the fourth slate of rookie numbers coming out.
- 1:01:03[SPEAKER_07]: It's got to be this week before.
- 1:01:05[SPEAKER_07]: Many camp, right?
- 1:01:06[SPEAKER_07]: I see all these other NFL teams.
- 1:01:07[SPEAKER_07]: Hey, look, here's all our rookie numbers.
- 1:01:08[SPEAKER_07]: I'm like, where is ours at?
- 1:01:09[SPEAKER_07]: We got three of them.
- 1:01:10[SPEAKER_07]: We know Faunos, Rockin' 55, Concepción's, Rockin' 17, Boston's going with 12.
- 1:01:16[SPEAKER_07]: What are the rest of the, and I know something really, it's football, who gives a crowd both of the number.
- 1:01:19[SPEAKER_07]: I just, it's something to talk about.
- 1:01:21[SPEAKER_07]: But anyway, your hot take that we finish second in the division.
- 1:01:25[SPEAKER_07]: Man,
- 1:01:28[SPEAKER_07]: But not like crazy bold considering where the division is, Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh is very similar to the Browns and I know their fans are just absolutely melt and down left and right because they can't handle being in the same conversation as Cleveland, but my goodness, you know who your quarterback is, it's all going to depend on the quarterback and what kind of play you get out of that quarterback.
- 1:01:53[SPEAKER_07]: How's the new coaching staff?
- 1:01:54[SPEAKER_07]: Like, three of these teams in the agency north are in very similar situations with new coaching staffs.
- 1:02:00[SPEAKER_07]: And two of them don't have locked in solidified starters for that quarterback with the sealers in the Browns.
- 1:02:08[SPEAKER_07]: So you've got the Bengals obviously finishing first.
- 1:02:11[SPEAKER_07]: Does their defense come together this year?
- 1:02:13[SPEAKER_07]: I don't know.
- 1:02:14[SPEAKER_07]: This Joe Burrow get hurt.
- 1:02:16[SPEAKER_07]: I mean, it's one of those things where the Bengals always seem to find a way to just not live up to expectations.
- 1:02:23[SPEAKER_07]: And yeah, I'm with you, man.
- 1:02:26[SPEAKER_07]: Let's end this thing on a positive note today.
- 1:02:29[SPEAKER_07]: I definitely agree with Liam, I see a world.
- 1:02:33[SPEAKER_07]: For sure, I see a world in which the Browns finish, perform, way better in the AFC North than what anybody probably expects.
- 1:02:43[SPEAKER_07]: But it's all going to come down to coaching.
- 1:02:46[SPEAKER_07]: Does the change to Todd Munkin from Kevin Stephanski?
- 1:02:50[SPEAKER_07]: bring up on the offense, the type of improvement that we all hope and pray and expect it to, and can we get?
- 1:03:01[SPEAKER_07]: Lord above, please, can we get average quarter back play?
- 1:03:07[SPEAKER_07]: That's, I feel like we're not asking for a whole hell of a lot here sometimes, and click the link.
- 1:03:11[SPEAKER_07]: We're just, can we just get like average play out of a guy that we paid
- 1:03:20[SPEAKER_07]: A guy that was projected to be the number two overall pick in the draft.
- 1:03:22[SPEAKER_07]: I think mock draft database by the end of draft season last year still has Shador Sanders as a top 10 pick.
- 1:03:28[SPEAKER_07]: Can we just get average quarterback play out of one of those guys?
- 1:03:31[SPEAKER_07]: That'd be great.
- 1:03:32[SPEAKER_07]: All right, guys, appreciate you tuning in again.
