Talbot Humane’s PAWS to Read Challenge is back for a full year, launching September 1 and running through August 1, 2027, pairing kids with shelter animals to boost reading skills, build confidence, and foster compassion—all while offering calming companionship to the furry friends. Kids must sign up and attend an orientation with Volunteer Coordinator Megan Dornton.
