- 0:08Speaker 1: Scable Advice. Welcome to the Naughty but Nice Show. It's
- 0:18Speaker 1: the Queen's Jubilie today and I robed shoots and I
- 0:20Speaker 1: couldn't be happier. We've got turn off gossip and a
- 0:22Speaker 1: lot of royal stuff too, so don't worry. That's coming
- 0:25Speaker 1: a little later in the show. Joining us every Thursday
- 0:29Speaker 1: is our dear friend Mark Lupolupia. You're there, lip, lieppylu
- 0:35Speaker 1: I love that nickname, Liepy Lou. Didn't you say people
- 0:38Speaker 1: would call your dad that? My dad is also called
- 0:41Speaker 1: loup Lupi Lou, You're right, makes me smile. Every Thursday,
- 0:47Speaker 1: We've got a ton to get into, so let's jump
- 0:49Speaker 1: into the show. Mark, what time is it? My friends?
- 0:51Speaker 1: And so the verdict has been reached in the Johnny
- 0:55Speaker 1: Depp and the Amber Hood defamation trial. I think everybody
- 0:58Speaker 1: is just so over this, so we'll go pretty fast.
- 1:00Speaker 1: But it is a big story. So the jury found
- 1:03Speaker 1: that Depth was defamed by misheard when she described herself
- 1:09Speaker 1: in an op ed as a public figure representing domestic violence.
- 1:14Speaker 1: Johnny actually won all three counts of defamation. I think
- 1:18Speaker 1: that's surprised some people, at least legal people. It seems
- 1:21Speaker 1: to me like the public was on Johnny's side here,
- 1:23Speaker 1: so people seemed to be happy that he won, but
- 1:26Speaker 1: legally he had a really really really big mountain to climb.
- 1:30Speaker 1: He did. So, however, it's not all good news because
- 1:34Speaker 1: of her complaints about him. They found that one of
- 1:38Speaker 1: them were true and his lawyer defamed her. So she's
- 1:42Speaker 1: going to pay about fifteen million dollars to him. He's
- 1:47Speaker 1: got to pay her two million dollars. All this is
- 1:50Speaker 1: a mess. It's gonna be appealed. What do you think
- 1:53Speaker 1: about it? Or Mark? Oh my god, Rod, this is
- 1:56Speaker 1: has to be the biggest I would say turnover surprise,
- 1:59Speaker 1: shock of the life of our lifetime. Really like Johnny
- 2:03Speaker 1: Depp when this has been going on for many, many years, right,
- 2:05Speaker 1: and I did not expect to see. I didn't this
- 2:08Speaker 1: outcome for Johnny Um, I will say, however, you know,
- 2:11Speaker 1: I don't know that if there are any winners here,
- 2:13Speaker 1: because they both have been tracked to their money. You've
- 2:16Speaker 1: seen their most personal details exploded. It's just sad overall,
- 2:20Speaker 1: it really is. I agree with you, Mark, most admit them.
- 2:23Speaker 1: I didn't know that this would be the outcome. Remembered
- 2:26Speaker 1: too that he sued a British newspaper for calling him
- 2:30Speaker 1: a wife bet and then all the evidence that we've
- 2:32Speaker 1: seen presented over the last six weeks were presented, was
- 2:35Speaker 1: presented in London and she won. So different courts, different
- 2:39Speaker 1: rules or different outcomes, I guess a legal expert I
- 2:42Speaker 1: spoke to say the difference was in London it was
- 2:45Speaker 1: a judge that made the decision, it wasn't a jury,
- 2:48Speaker 1: and here it was a jury. So maybe with the
- 2:51Speaker 1: judge it's more likely to be strictly legal when you
- 2:54Speaker 1: add a jury in probably fans of Johnny, let's admit,
- 2:57Speaker 1: every one of us has at least seen one Johnny
- 3:00Speaker 1: Depp movie. It's impossible to find people on the planet,
- 3:03Speaker 1: or at least here in America that don't know Johnny Depp.
- 3:06Speaker 1: It's so hard, isn't it. Mark, Have you ever been
- 3:08Speaker 1: on a jury? Have been? Once? For a smart claim
- 3:11Speaker 1: of squirt? I felt so powerful, But yeah, but I
- 3:16Speaker 1: thought I did feel this responsibility to do the right thing.
- 3:18Speaker 1: I didn't take it, you know, as a joke. I
- 3:20Speaker 1: was really like, I'm in this, I'm paying attention, I'm
- 3:21Speaker 1: going to do the right thing. I was the same
- 3:24Speaker 1: I thought I'd be silly. I mean, I'm silly and
- 3:26Speaker 1: pretty much everything I do. And so when I turned
- 3:28Speaker 1: about the court, I wore all black. I walked in
- 3:31Speaker 1: like the Queen of Shiva. And then within minutes, Mark,
- 3:34Speaker 1: I figure out, you know, this isn't about you, Rob Shooter.
- 3:37Speaker 1: This is really important, and I got really serious about it.
- 3:40Speaker 1: And it was not a celebrity trial. But had it
- 3:42Speaker 1: have been, I would have definitely tried to not let
- 3:45Speaker 1: celebrity sway me. I don't want to be I don't
- 3:49Speaker 1: want to live in a world where celebrities get away
- 3:51Speaker 1: with stuff. I'm not saying Johnny did here, but certainly
- 3:54Speaker 1: Amber Amber feel so. So they both issued statements. Hers
- 3:57Speaker 1: is very very angry, He's very very happy. But what
- 4:01Speaker 1: happens next now, Mark, I think you're right. I think
- 4:03Speaker 1: the damage has been done to both of them, Like
- 4:06Speaker 1: we've learned stuff about them that we just shouldn't really
- 4:08Speaker 1: know about anybody's, particularly movie stars. I can't see Disney
- 4:12Speaker 1: hiring Bag for the Pirates, can you know? I think
- 4:16Speaker 1: at the court of public opinion, you know there is
- 4:18Speaker 1: that it's in favor now of Johnny and unless so
- 4:21Speaker 1: in Amber's case. But I just don't know how much
- 4:24Speaker 1: of a liability Johnny will be. And you know, in
- 4:27Speaker 1: the future projects, can you ensure him? Is he gonna
- 4:30Speaker 1: show up? Is he gonna it's just? And then is
- 4:33Speaker 1: Amber going to be received well? And movies? Are people
- 4:35Speaker 1: are going to support the project? I don't know. A
- 4:38Speaker 1: real smart legal person I spoke to said and I
- 4:42Speaker 1: can't stop thinking of this quote. This is a case
- 4:44Speaker 1: of rich people arguing about who is the meanest. They're
- 4:48Speaker 1: just like, we're saying mean things about each other, and
- 4:50Speaker 1: it's trying to figure out who is the meanest. We
- 4:53Speaker 1: We shouldn't be flippant about this too, though, because women's
- 4:56Speaker 1: rights advocates have come forward saying that this is a
- 4:59Speaker 1: really bad DIGS because then maybe women won't come forward
- 5:02Speaker 1: if they have been abused. So that's something to think
- 5:05Speaker 1: about too. But it's very, very complicated, and it's not
- 5:07Speaker 1: going anywhere because she's definitely going to appeal it. So
- 5:10Speaker 1: we're probably going to live through this all over again. Hey,
- 5:13Speaker 1: let's move on. So land Serpass I love land Spass, Landspass.
- 5:16Speaker 1: It's a chatty catty. Land Spas is a member of
- 5:20Speaker 1: end Sinc. Who still gossips to the press, like Justin
- 5:23Speaker 1: forget it, never is never going to tell us anything.
- 5:26Speaker 1: Lance can't shut up. So Lance's saying that he still
- 5:30Speaker 1: can't get in touch with Britney Spears and there's a
- 5:32Speaker 1: wall around her. So he was doing interviews at some event.
- 5:36Speaker 1: It's always an event. I love it. We get in
- 5:38Speaker 1: the business. It's called a tip sheet and it tips
- 5:40Speaker 1: us off to which celebrities are going to events. Always
- 5:44Speaker 1: Landspass is something every event. I worry for him when
- 5:48Speaker 1: he's not on my tip sheet, like if I get
- 5:49Speaker 1: said to pr reallys Bethanie Fragg culture land Spass. They're
- 5:53Speaker 1: the ones that are always every single opening. So he
- 5:56Speaker 1: was at some opening, grannother and he spoke to page
- 5:58Speaker 1: six and they asked him about Brittany. Remember he grew
- 6:02Speaker 1: up in that world. In fact, I think Brittany opened
- 6:04Speaker 1: for end Sync or maybe Endsync open for Britney Spears,
- 6:06Speaker 1: and then Justin and Brittany dated, so there was sort
- 6:08Speaker 1: of like superstars at the same time. The differences though
- 6:12Speaker 1: Lance didn't sort of maintain his superstardom. So Brittany is
- 6:17Speaker 1: a superstar, Justin's a superstar. Lance don't. Marie's a lot
- 6:22Speaker 1: of money, so he was asked about Brittany and he
- 6:24Speaker 1: said there's still a wall around her and he's tried
- 6:26Speaker 1: to get in touch with her but he can't. What
- 6:29Speaker 1: do you think, Oh my gosh, you're so funny. You know,
- 6:32Speaker 1: it's true. I only hear about Lance Bass when he's
- 6:35Speaker 1: talking about Britney or Justin, and I just I wanted
- 6:37Speaker 1: to find something else to talk about. Let's just or
- 6:41Speaker 1: just enjoy all his money, like he's so rich, he
- 6:43Speaker 1: doesn't have to work. When I worked at US weekly,
- 6:45Speaker 1: he would just chat chat chat chat chat chat chat,
- 6:48Speaker 1: asked him anything you want. He's always around. Like you said,
- 6:51Speaker 1: I do like him, but I don't really think about
- 6:53Speaker 1: him that often. He's not. It makes me smile. It
- 6:56Speaker 1: does make me smile. Though. This brings us to our
- 6:58Speaker 1: pole question of the day, and it's a cheeky on Lance.
- 7:00Speaker 1: If you're listening a lower lower low, it is a
- 7:02Speaker 1: little cheeky tho. So a Lance turning after us for
- 7:04Speaker 1: thirty seconds. Lance Balancey's saying that he can't get in
- 7:07Speaker 1: touch with Britney Spears and there's a wall around her.
- 7:10Speaker 1: Is Lance right or does she just not want to
- 7:13Speaker 1: speak to Lass? A question because you know, I Lancepass
- 7:18Speaker 1: called Justin. I don't know if Justin ro dand sir
- 7:20Speaker 1: there's a wall around Justin, Like you know if you call,
- 7:23Speaker 1: I don't know. What do you think is j C
- 7:25Speaker 1: from instinct taking Lancey's calls a Joey? I don't know.
- 7:29Speaker 1: I think he has to call a few times before
- 7:30Speaker 1: he picks up. I think he up. And Brittany knows
- 7:33Speaker 1: if if she does pick up, you're going to tell
- 7:35Speaker 1: us everything she said? You don't if you're Britney Spears.
- 7:40Speaker 1: She's sitting at home Ring Ring. You look down at
- 7:42Speaker 1: your phone, Landspass, Now you know you know whatever you're
- 7:47Speaker 1: about to say, he's going to tell you. She might
- 7:49Speaker 1: as well call it to see an end as to
- 7:51Speaker 1: call it to lands. Question of the day is there
- 7:54Speaker 1: a wall around Brittany or does she just don't wanted
- 7:56Speaker 1: to talk to Landspass? And what's naughty today? Hey? Go
- 7:58Speaker 1: vote on Twitter page at already nice rob at Facebook
- 8:01Speaker 1: pages Naughty Show and to check back for your results tomorrow.
- 8:05Speaker 1: Hey LUPI, what are you working on? More nottiness to camera?
- 8:10Speaker 1: So Jada Pickett Smith is reflecting on the relationship between
- 8:13Speaker 1: her husband Will Smith and Chris Rock just two months
- 8:16Speaker 1: after Will struck the comedian in the face at Academy Awards. Okay,
- 8:21Speaker 1: so Rob. At the beginning of Wednesday's Red Table Talk,
- 8:25Speaker 1: Jada said into the camera, quote about Oscar Night, my
- 8:29Speaker 1: deepest hope is that these two intelligent, capable men have
- 8:32Speaker 1: an opportunity to heal, to talk this out and reconcile,
- 8:37Speaker 1: she said. With the state of the world today, we
- 8:40Speaker 1: need them both, and we actually need one another more
- 8:43Speaker 1: than ever. Well, first of all, your impersonation is fantastic,
- 8:47Speaker 1: although it does sound like every other person that you
- 8:49Speaker 1: always have one voice for celebrity quote, and that's the voice,
- 8:52Speaker 1: and I love it it is. I don't know, Jada,
- 8:54Speaker 1: if the world does need Will Smith or Chris Rock?
- 8:57Speaker 1: Do we do? I need them? I like, I don't
- 9:00Speaker 1: know if I like Will anymore, but I like Chris Rock.
- 9:02Speaker 1: But we need them. We need them both together, do we?
- 9:06Speaker 1: They're not Zelenski in Ukraine? Like, do I really need
- 9:11Speaker 1: Will Smith? Jada the arrogance and I get it to
- 9:14Speaker 1: and also doing it on your own show is clever.
- 9:16Speaker 1: That that's clever because she wants to promote her own show.
- 9:18Speaker 1: You don't You're not having any of this mark. What
- 9:20Speaker 1: do you think, Jada goodbye? We do not we did
- 9:23Speaker 1: not need the statement from you. We do not need
- 9:26Speaker 1: this at our you know, robbed to your point. You
- 9:28Speaker 1: know the Daytime Emmys are coming up in just a
- 9:30Speaker 1: few weeks, so I think you know she's getting ahead
- 9:31Speaker 1: of that. I think she's letting us know if she's
- 9:34Speaker 1: still hosts the show. But I just this is the
- 9:36Speaker 1: miss and this is a miss opportunity. As a former publicist,
- 9:40Speaker 1: would you think this is the way to approach it?
- 9:41Speaker 1: I would say to address it, I wouldn't do it
- 9:43Speaker 1: like this, I think. I mean, ideally it would be
- 9:46Speaker 1: Will and Chris that sits down and talk and that
- 9:49Speaker 1: would be televised, that did the big Oprah interview, and
- 9:51Speaker 1: then you bring Jada out at the end, because this
- 9:54Speaker 1: is really between them. I get, you know, the comment
- 9:56Speaker 1: about Jada sparked all this too. But Ja that I
- 10:00Speaker 1: would not get involved in this one. I really wouldn't.
- 10:02Speaker 1: And if I did get involved, you've got to say
- 10:04Speaker 1: at some point that what your husband did was wrong,
- 10:07Speaker 1: which is not yet said exactly. If you've got a
- 10:10Speaker 1: public platform, you gotta admit when you were wrong, and
- 10:14Speaker 1: then you can move on So my advice to Jada
- 10:16Speaker 1: would have been, if you want to get promotions for
- 10:18Speaker 1: your show, you do. You want to get viewers, you do,
- 10:21Speaker 1: look straight into their camera and you say what Will
- 10:25Speaker 1: did was wrong, and I do not condone it. However,
- 10:29Speaker 1: I think that these two can get together and talk
- 10:31Speaker 1: and blah blah blah, and maybe out of this horrible
- 10:33Speaker 1: situation something good can come. Jada is still not not
- 10:37Speaker 1: not said that, and I think that's the missing piece
- 10:38Speaker 1: of the puzzle, don't you. I think you said this perfectly.
- 10:42Speaker 1: She's not taking accountability for her husband or for her
- 10:45Speaker 1: and it's sad because I don't think the public responded
- 10:48Speaker 1: well to this. If you go online on Twitter, people
- 10:49Speaker 1: are not happy. But they're not happy, and I get
- 10:51Speaker 1: it's your spouse, but you know what, even our spouses
- 10:54Speaker 1: we know when they do something wrong. Even my loved
- 10:56Speaker 1: one's mark. If you did something awful, I would be
- 10:58Speaker 1: the first to say that was awful. But I prought
- 11:00Speaker 1: you and we're still friends and I'm gonna have you back.
- 11:02Speaker 1: But I can't pretend what you did was not terrible.
- 11:07Speaker 1: You know, you have to have accountability. You have to
- 11:09Speaker 1: show it for people and then let them know when
- 11:11Speaker 1: they're wrong. You're totally right. Yes, neither one of them
- 11:13Speaker 1: have Hey, moving along. Remember Hydri and Spencer from The Hills.
- 11:16Speaker 1: I think it's been like sixteen years since The Hills debut. Well,
- 11:20Speaker 1: now Heidi is pregnant again and she is announced that
- 11:25Speaker 1: this beautiful, beautiful thing to the world on the cover
- 11:28Speaker 1: of US Weekly. These two still played by the old
- 11:31Speaker 1: trick book and I do love it. So she got pregnant, congratulations.
- 11:35Speaker 1: She has been trying for some time and she already
- 11:38Speaker 1: has a four year old son. Finally, now, after after
- 11:42Speaker 1: months years of trying, she is expecting her second baby.
- 11:46Speaker 1: What do they do? They run to US Weekly, which
- 11:49Speaker 1: is where I would run to let me favorite and
- 11:52Speaker 1: announce it on the cover. I still want to love
- 11:55Speaker 1: it in a weird celebrity gross way. Can I tell
- 11:59Speaker 1: you that I broke their first pregnancy story for AS Weekly.
- 12:02Speaker 1: I wrote it and broke it. Yeah, what was that like?
- 12:04Speaker 1: Did they call you? Did you call them? How did
- 12:06Speaker 1: you find out? Well? It was arranged an event, so
- 12:09Speaker 1: we knew they were pregnant. So we broke it on
- 12:10Speaker 1: the in print and then on digital. But you know,
- 12:13Speaker 1: I did the interview with them and I asked them
- 12:15Speaker 1: whatever I wanted, any anything that I asked, they answered
- 12:18Speaker 1: they did. He approached me, he d m me on
- 12:23Speaker 1: social media about ten years ago, and their career was
- 12:27Speaker 1: not doing so well and they wanted to get back
- 12:29Speaker 1: into the into the gossip world. They wanted to be
- 12:32Speaker 1: back in the in the magazines, on the websites. And
- 12:35Speaker 1: at the time, I was being hailed by Rosie O'Donnell
- 12:38Speaker 1: as the new Perez Hilton, which I didn't actually like,
- 12:40Speaker 1: but she pointed out as the nice version of Perez.
- 12:43Speaker 1: I liked that sort of but I remember saying, Rosie,
- 12:45Speaker 1: I don't know if that's so flattering, but Rosie would
- 12:47Speaker 1: tell everybody this. And then when Woods Woods Rosie did that,
- 12:51Speaker 1: my dems blew up. Lots of celebrities. I'm not going
- 12:54Speaker 1: to name them all, but I will tell you Spencer
- 12:56Speaker 1: was the one, not Heidi. He's sort of like the
- 12:59Speaker 1: one pulling the string. He's the manager, so to speak,
- 13:01Speaker 1: of all of all this. Hey, congratulations you two. I'm
- 13:04Speaker 1: being cynical, like I sort of love it. I love
- 13:07Speaker 1: this old world as old school. I wish we could
- 13:09Speaker 1: turn back the clock. In some ways, Mark, it's Nick
- 13:12Speaker 1: and Jessica and then in j LO part one, Remember
- 13:15Speaker 1: Jennifer and Brad and Angie every week were on the covers.
- 13:19Speaker 1: This just made me smile. Now, Mr Ellen Musk is
- 13:25Speaker 1: really making people angry. What is he doing now? I'm
- 13:28Speaker 1: not smiling about this one. Elon Musk is apparently not
- 13:31Speaker 1: a fan of remote work. Let me tell you why.
- 13:34Speaker 1: So Elon commented on a tweet which appeared to be
- 13:37Speaker 1: an email from him to Tesla executive staff, saying, quote,
- 13:41Speaker 1: anyone who wishes to do remote work for a minimum
- 13:44Speaker 1: and I mean a minimum of forty hours per week
- 13:47Speaker 1: or depart Tesla. WHOA. Although he didn't confirm the authenticity
- 13:52Speaker 1: of the email. When asked whether it's such a strict
- 13:55Speaker 1: in office policy could be considered antiquated by Son, he replied,
- 13:59Speaker 1: quote they should pretend to work somewhere else. So Musque
- 14:04Speaker 1: also previously expresses this taste for American workers, saying, quote,
- 14:08Speaker 1: trying to avoid going to work at our which you
- 14:11Speaker 1: said in May thoughts. I hate it. This is tone deaf.
- 14:14Speaker 1: This is like when Kim Kardashian gave people advice which
- 14:17Speaker 1: was work harder. I hate it when super rich people
- 14:19Speaker 1: the richest man on the planet is saying this, Yes,
- 14:22Speaker 1: he worked very hard, but also to he had lots
- 14:25Speaker 1: and lots of advantages. My perception and from people I
- 14:29Speaker 1: work with and in clearing myself, is that during the pandemic,
- 14:32Speaker 1: I think I've worked harder than ever, like doing all
- 14:34Speaker 1: this stuff from home, figuring out the new technology we've
- 14:37Speaker 1: We've I don't think we can say honestly, we've never
- 14:39Speaker 1: missed the podcast. Every single day, five days a week.
- 14:42Speaker 1: We've put out a show, and we've done it under
- 14:44Speaker 1: really really intense circumstances. And I don't want to pat
- 14:48Speaker 1: on the back for that, But I also don't want
- 14:50Speaker 1: to stick in the eye like Ellen, this is not true. Mark.
- 14:54Speaker 1: Do you think you work your productivity is higher or
- 14:57Speaker 1: lower when you've worked in from home? I think, much
- 15:01Speaker 1: like you, I've worked much harder, even on this podcast
- 15:04Speaker 1: before the pandemic. We're meeting in person all the way
- 15:07Speaker 1: downtown in Manhattan. It would take an hour to get there.
- 15:09Speaker 1: It's longer to get them and take the thing exactly right.
- 15:12Speaker 1: And now we just wake up and do it and
- 15:14Speaker 1: another day, I don't delicious Look how easier is hey?
- 15:17Speaker 1: We're going to take a quick break and we will
- 15:19Speaker 1: be right back. Welcome back to the Naughty but Night Show.
- 15:25Speaker 1: I'm your heads stop shooter with our dear friends, Loopy,
- 15:27Speaker 1: lou Hey, Loopy. Let's get to the polls. Yesterday we
- 15:31Speaker 1: talked about the CIS six is popularity in Britain hitting
- 15:34Speaker 1: rock bottom really low? Mark about for her twenty seven
- 15:39Speaker 1: for for Harry? Would you return to the jubilee if
- 15:43Speaker 1: you were them? So my question was this, if you
- 15:45Speaker 1: knew the country hated you, like physically I didn't like you,
- 15:49Speaker 1: would you go? And let's have a look. Now it's
- 15:55Speaker 1: hard like I've I've walked into family functions where my
- 15:58Speaker 1: family like they definitely since the Betties rolled her eyes,
- 16:03Speaker 1: can you imagine the whole country turning gun you and
- 16:05Speaker 1: you've got to just turn up. I feel for Megan
- 16:08Speaker 1: and Harry the next couple of days. What do you think? Yeah,
- 16:10Speaker 1: it's a kind of a lose lose. But I will
- 16:12Speaker 1: say this is about the queen and this is about
- 16:14Speaker 1: her experience. So I think they have to put their
- 16:16Speaker 1: egos aside, which is not going to be easy for them.
- 16:19Speaker 1: Put your ego aside and just show up your grandmother,
- 16:21Speaker 1: Please show up for grandmother. It's about her. Don't you
- 16:24Speaker 1: dare upstage in a fabulous bliancey ark address Mack and
- 16:28Speaker 1: if you're listening, honestly put away the crown jewels, sweetheart.
- 16:32Speaker 1: I know you've got frock. You never her. She's got
- 16:35Speaker 1: a ruby red ballground you know it really low cut,
- 16:39Speaker 1: big slit. She's gonna wear high heels like she's gonna
- 16:42Speaker 1: she's gonna step out looking fabulous and steal all the
- 16:45Speaker 1: thunder Megan, take it down and not JQ Banana Republic, Like,
- 16:50Speaker 1: do you know what I mean? Just say, like, you know,
- 16:52Speaker 1: it's not your moments, not you. Sometimes when I do
- 16:56Speaker 1: TV shows and they tell you me the panel that
- 16:58Speaker 1: I'm going to be on with, there's someone on the
- 17:00Speaker 1: panel I don't like and like watch this and I
- 17:03Speaker 1: turned up looking like a clown, like I'll wear red
- 17:05Speaker 1: pants or something just to get attention. And so Megan,
- 17:08Speaker 1: I know what you would doing. Hey, don't forget to
- 17:12Speaker 1: vote on today's poul Get to our Twitter page at

- 17:22Speaker 1: let's do the nicest of the day, Our nicest of
- 17:28Speaker 1: the day, Rob, It's Prince Harry and his whole family.
- 17:30Speaker 1: Oh so, Prince Harry has been given that cast iron
- 17:34Speaker 1: assurances his family will be protected during the jubilee now robs.
- 17:39Speaker 1: According to The Mirror, Harry and Maygan have been giving
- 17:41Speaker 1: these cast iron assurances. A source says that for Harry
- 17:44Speaker 1: this has always been about protecting his family. He has
- 17:47Speaker 1: been in constant contact with relevant parties and man it
- 17:49Speaker 1: very clear that he wouldn't travel without receiving cast iron
- 17:53Speaker 1: assurances over the safety of his family. Good for him.
- 17:56Speaker 1: I like this, He's going to be safe there and
- 17:58Speaker 1: nicest of the day Harry and Megan and we normally
- 18:01Speaker 1: do our naughties of the day here, but we're not today.
- 18:03Speaker 1: We're going to talk about Queen Elizabeth for a second. Hey, congratulations,
- 18:06Speaker 1: seventy years on the throne, her platinum platinum. To believe
- 18:12Speaker 1: she was a rock star, she would have just gone platinum.
- 18:15Speaker 1: She's like the only monarch that has ever done this
- 18:17Speaker 1: in British history. And it's not just about her as
- 18:20Speaker 1: a queen, it's about her as a woman. And I
- 18:22Speaker 1: think one of the reasons the Brits and the world
- 18:25Speaker 1: love her so much is that she doesn't just accept
- 18:28Speaker 1: all the nice stuff that comes from being a member
- 18:31Speaker 1: of the royal family. She does the work. Mark, she
- 18:33Speaker 1: turns up, So she does hundreds of events each year,
- 18:37Speaker 1: She answers letters, She's really involved, and I think it's
- 18:40Speaker 1: such an interesting thing we can think about in our
- 18:43Speaker 1: own live. For me, it's lovely going on television and
- 18:47Speaker 1: showing half and and wearing her hair and makeup and talking.
- 18:50Speaker 1: But what you don't see is the hours and the
- 18:52Speaker 1: hours of work I do in my pajamas, in my
- 18:54Speaker 1: underwear at home. You've got to do the work. Often
- 18:57Speaker 1: the royal events are really boring, they're not that much fun.
- 19:00Speaker 1: They're not as glamorous as what's going on today. She
- 19:02Speaker 1: still turns up, and so I think it's a lesson
- 19:05Speaker 1: for all of us. You've got to do the work.
- 19:08Speaker 1: If you want to get the results. You agree, Mark,
- 19:11Speaker 1: you do the work. You did the work. I did
- 19:13Speaker 1: the work. I agree. And you know, there's a quote
- 19:14Speaker 1: I love from philosophy, and it says, if your choices
- 19:17Speaker 1: are beautiful, so too will you be. And I think
- 19:20Speaker 1: She's made a lot of beautiful choices in her time
- 19:23Speaker 1: on the throne. And I'm really happy for it, really
- 19:25Speaker 1: absolutely let's end with her a moment of Rob. You
- 19:27Speaker 1: got a Robbie, get a Rob. So progress is all
- 19:30Speaker 1: about increasing your chances of success and decreasing your chances
- 19:33Speaker 1: of failure. And that starts when you trust. You've got
- 19:37Speaker 1: to trust that you're smart enough to do this. You
- 19:40Speaker 1: are smart enough, my friends. I know sometimes you don't
- 19:42Speaker 1: think you are. You are. Only this morning, before before
- 19:46Speaker 1: we recorded our show, I did a ton of TV
- 19:48Speaker 1: interviews and I got a little nervous Mark the very
- 19:50Speaker 1: first one. I was just a little rattled, and I
- 19:52Speaker 1: stopped and I looked in the mirror and I was like,
- 19:55Speaker 1: you've got this. You know this, And I can talk
- 19:57Speaker 1: about the Royals and the Kardashians for hours. I can
- 20:01Speaker 1: do this, and so can you trust that you are
- 20:04Speaker 1: smart enough. Hey, that's it for today. Thank you so
- 20:07Speaker 1: much for listening. So The Naughty but Nice with Rob
