- 0:40Carmen Lezeth: Okay, let, okay, let me clarify.
- 0:50Carmen Lezeth: Let me clarify, because we actually met on haps and you used to come on haps, which is a different app, that was also a live streaming service, which is where I met rick and tony, by the way, and and you would come on and you would be in bed about to, because you're how you're, it's already, it's the next day 3 am for you exactly correct, it's Friday morning right, it's Friday morning for you, so yeah, that's how I remember you.
- 1:08Carmen Lezeth: I just want you to know.
- 1:09Nazim Beltran: I know and I would usually show up with our shirt on and Tony would get very upset about this down the road.
- 1:15Carmen Lezeth: Tony, who flosses on air and you know does his whole hygiene situation on air is going to get upset with you right.
- 1:24Cynthia Ruiz: I said the horrible word, the horrible word I know, Look at that smile.
- 1:31Rick Costa: It's because he flosses so much.
- 1:32Rick Costa: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:34Carmen Lezeth: So, Nazeem, tell us how you're doing.
- 1:36Carmen Lezeth: We haven't talked in a long time.
- 1:37Carmen Lezeth: How are things going?
- 1:38Carmen Lezeth: What have you been doing?
- 1:38Carmen Lezeth: And talk about your presentation.
- 1:40Carmen Lezeth: You sent to me your on stage comedy thingamajiggy which was great yeah and here's the thing I don't speak italian and I understood and it was funny and I found myself laughing with the audience and I was like I don't even know what he said, but it was funny now I've been doing great.
- 1:55Nazim Beltran: I've been busy with work and, you know, involved in cruise ship stuff and we're still designing cruise ships and like still keeps going along.
- 2:02Nazim Beltran: But roughly what three mondays ago we had we do this thing called don't tell my mom, which is kind of like there's a little club in milan and you just go on stage, you have seven minutes to tell a story that your mom has never heard, and so the guy who organizes he's quite famous in italy and now he decided for the 10th year anniversary to take it to a theater with a packed house with 1,500 people.
- 2:27Carmen Lezeth: Wait, that's the clip you sent me.
- 2:28Carmen Lezeth: Right, that's a lot of people.
- 2:29Carmen Lezeth: That's the clip.
- 2:30Carmen Lezeth: Oh, that's awesome.
- 2:31Nazim Beltran: And basically I told the story of when I burned my daughter's savings in the stove in the country house by mistake 3,000 euros but luckily we recovered all of it because it was inside this Federal Express thing.
- 2:42Nazim Beltran: So it was all burnt.
- 2:43Nazim Beltran: But if you can see the numbers on the bills, the central bank gives you back the money.
- 2:48Nazim Beltran: Oh, that's awesome.
- 2:49Nazim Beltran: But the whole thing is quite funny, the whole thing how it went.
- 2:52Carmen Lezeth: So I had sent you an email to info at.
- 2:56Carmen Lezeth: I forget what the name of the company is.
- 2:57Carmen Lezeth: Is that still going on?
- 2:59Nazim Beltran: Yeah, that's still going on.
- 2:59Nazim Beltran: I still do a lot of digital stuff in Milan and I still do a lot of digital stuff in Milan, and then I do the consulting down here on the coast, because today I'm down on the coast for cruise ship design and then, as a hobby I don't know if you guys remember me and my wife used to do a blog about Italy.
- 3:14Rick Costa: That's what that is.
- 3:15Nazim Beltran: Yeah, that's on the back burner because we've been so busy.
- 3:18Nazim Beltran: I'm so busy with stuff, but I'm so happy to see everybody yeah.
- 3:25Carmen Lezeth: And you've never met Cynthia.
- 3:26Carmen Lezeth: Cynthia's my cousin, but you know Rick and Tony, unfortunately.
- 3:27Nazim Beltran: I know Rick and Tony, unfortunately, yes, I didn't even say that, Tony.
- 3:34Carmen Lezeth: He felt it with his heart and he really put it out there.
- 3:37Nazim Beltran: It came natural.
- 3:37Nazim Beltran: I wonder why.
- 3:38Nazim Beltran: I love you guys.
- 3:41Nazim Beltran: I miss everybody.
- 3:42Carmen Lezeth: You see how Tony does not talk back to a man.
- 3:46Carmen Lezeth: I just want to point that out there.
- 3:48Carmen Lezeth: I will talk back to you.
- 3:49Carmen Lezeth: Keep playing, keep playing.
- 3:51Tony D.: Proving his point?
- 3:51Tony D.: Proving his point?
- 3:52Tony D.: What Proving his?
- 3:53Cynthia Ruiz: point he just proves your point.
- 3:58Carmen Lezeth: Well, Nazeem, is there anything?
- 3:59Carmen Lezeth: I mean, I'm kind of popping this on you, but is there anything you want?
- 4:02Carmen Lezeth: To talk about.
- 4:03Nazim Beltran: Yeah, I mean I'm kind of popping this on you, but is there anything you want to talk about?
- 4:05Nazim Beltran: Yeah, we can talk about how everybody's doing.
- 4:07Nazim Beltran: I have to confess, last night my mother-in-law was downstairs and we watched the news together and I was sitting there watching the news going like every day the world's getting really crazy.
- 4:13Nazim Beltran: Every day is kind of like something new.
- 4:15Nazim Beltran: So our concern here in Europe it seems to be this whole thing with, you know, russia and Ukraine and this back and forth.
- 4:22Nazim Beltran: So I don't know, I'm trying to stay positive, but you know.
- 4:25Nazim Beltran: And then, apart from that, my daughter went to New York yesterday.
- 4:27Nazim Beltran: She arrived in New York.
- 4:29Nazim Beltran: She's going to be there for a month.
- 4:31Carmen Lezeth: What is she doing?
- 4:32Nazim Beltran: She's a photographer Kids fashion.
- 4:33Nazim Beltran: She's doing very well.
- 4:36Carmen Lezeth: That's awesome, and how old is your daughter?
- 4:38Rick Costa: 29.
- 4:39Carmen Lezeth: That's awesome.
- 4:40Rick Costa: Is there something specific she's photographing or just whatever?
- 4:42Rick Costa: Kids, kids fashion mostly.
- 4:44Nazim Beltran: Oh, okay.
- 4:45Carmen Lezeth: Fashion design, oh, that's kind of a very cool niche.
- 4:48Carmen Lezeth: I didn't hear the kids part.
- 4:49Carmen Lezeth: That's awesome.
- 4:49Carmen Lezeth: No, the kids.
- 4:50Nazim Beltran: Yeah, yeah, so she's involved in that and my wife's doing great.
- 4:54Nazim Beltran: We just got back from a two-week we went down to Sicily.
- 5:04Rick Costa: We were down on the in Sicily like sites that people like to go visit.
- 5:07Rick Costa: We went, we went to.
- 5:08Nazim Beltran: Syracuse, catania, modica, ragusa, and which is the part where the Baroque is.
- 5:14Nazim Beltran: It's very famous for Baroque back in the 1650s.
- 5:17Nazim Beltran: Hey, richard.
- 5:19Carmen Lezeth: Richard, good morning see, Nazim is bringing all the haps people.
- 5:27Rick Costa: He brings all the haps to the yard.
- 5:29Carmen Lezeth: I know, see, that's why he's the great get.
- 5:31Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean from the whole haps crew.
- 5:33Carmen Lezeth: So here's what I'll say about Ukraine and everything that's going on in the world.
- 5:37Carmen Lezeth: You know, israel and Gaza, whatever.
- 5:40Carmen Lezeth: All of that stuff, all that stuff.
- 5:41Carmen Lezeth: I try to stay away from that on this show.
- 5:44Nazim Beltran: Oh you're right, I'm sorry.
- 5:46Carmen Lezeth: No, oh my goodness, you do not need to apologize.
- 5:48Carmen Lezeth: This is good to let other people know.
- 5:49Carmen Lezeth: Some people DM me and ask if the topic can be let's talk about Palestine and Israel.
- 5:54Carmen Lezeth: I'm like that's not the show yeah.
- 5:55Carmen Lezeth: And I think there's enough places for people to feel that you know what, enjoy that or yell and scream and whatever.
- 6:02Carmen Lezeth: I think there needs to be a place where you don't have to do that You're right.
- 6:06Carmen Lezeth: Or you can just come and talk about stupid stuff and have fun and laugh.
- 6:09Carmen Lezeth: So you did nothing wrong.
- 6:10Carmen Lezeth: Richard Roberts, you know what I am so sorry.
- 6:12Carmen Lezeth: I I what's.
- 6:13Carmen Lezeth: I am a blab person, what's blab?

- 6:30Tony D.: Yes, he was.
- 6:31Tony D.: He was on Blab, blab was on Haps.
- 6:34Carmen Lezeth: Oh, you know what it is.
- 6:35Carmen Lezeth: I actually didn't do Blab, so I know you from Haps.

- 7:20Carmen Lezeth: Tony, to say something mean to you.

- 8:06Carmen Lezeth: What company?
- 8:06Carmen Lezeth: What company?
- 8:07Carmen Lezeth: Don't say it.
- 8:10Rick Costa: What company?
- 8:11Rick Costa: What's the first letter N?
- 8:13Cynthia Ruiz: N.
- 8:14Nazim Beltran: Norwegian Okay, that's good.
- 8:16Nazim Beltran: Norwegian's good Okay, I like Norwegian.
- 8:17Nazim Beltran: What would be bad if you can't even say it?
- 8:21Nazim Beltran: Basically, it basically carnival.
- 8:22Nazim Beltran: Yeah, we just talked about that the other day.
- 8:23Nazim Beltran: Oh, don't get me started on carnival.
- 8:25Nazim Beltran: And mst is another one watch watch somebody.
- 8:28Nazim Beltran: You know what I risk?
- 8:30Nazim Beltran: I risk a lot.
- 8:31Nazim Beltran: Watch somebody watch this video.
- 8:32Nazim Beltran: It's like he was bad mouthing.
- 8:34Nazim Beltran: No, it's basically.
- 8:35Nazim Beltran: We're right now doing silver sea.
- 8:37Nazim Beltran: We did the rich of branson ships and, uh, in the past we did Princess Cruises.
- 8:42Nazim Beltran: The love of Herman.
- 8:45Carmen Lezeth: Rich, you do not ever have to apologize, and I don't want you to just sit back and listen.
- 8:51Carmen Lezeth: You can interact.
- 8:52Carmen Lezeth: I just felt bad because I was like, did I mess something up?
- 8:54Carmen Lezeth: But it's all good, baby.
- 8:55Tony D.: I've been on the phone twice Nazeem, I never had an issue.
- 8:58Tony D.: I've heard a lot of crazy stories, but I can tell you personal experience.
- 9:00Tony D.: I was fine.
- 9:05Carmen Lezeth: So to your personal experience, I was fine, so I don't know what else is going through, but I personally have not had an issue with them.
- 9:09Carmen Lezeth: Oh wait, I'm sorry, I was just saying I would never go, never have been on a cruise.
- 9:11Nazim Beltran: Go ahead sir, well, carmen enjoys going to places where the bedbugs are really going high.
- 9:16Carmen Lezeth: Ooh, that was not my intention, baby, not at all.
- 9:22Carmen Lezeth: Would you rather go on a cruise or go with bedbugs?
- 9:26Carmen Lezeth: Had I known about the bedbugs I you know what's so funny.
- 9:27Carmen Lezeth: I was just updating something about the bedbugs and I was like this is so lingering, like I got to let it go, and now you guys bring it up.
- 9:35Nazim Beltran: Alex bedbugs for 500, please.
- 9:39Carmen Lezeth: No, here's the truth.
- 9:40Carmen Lezeth: I just don't like being on boats, so I don't do it.
- 9:44Carmen Lezeth: They're so big.
- 9:46Carmen Lezeth: My God it's like a floating hotel.
- 9:51Nazim Beltran: They're huge.
- 9:52Cynthia Ruiz: It's so much fun.
- 9:53Rick Costa: It's a lot of fun.
- 9:54Rick Costa: They're comfortable too.
- 9:55Rick Costa: The fact that they are so big makes it not feel like a boat.
- 9:58Carmen Lezeth: You really don't feel it.
- 10:00Carmen Lezeth: Cynthia, you said to me during the day you could do all this stuff whatever but at night I don't leave my room because it's too dark.
- 10:10Cynthia Ruiz: Oh no, I don't go out to the like outside Cause it's so dark.
- 10:13Carmen Lezeth: I'll stay inside.
- 10:13Carmen Lezeth: I thought you're supposed to feel really safe and everything.
- 10:15Carmen Lezeth: Are you worried that something's going to happen If you go?
- 10:17Carmen Lezeth: I would think you feel safe.
- 10:19Carmen Lezeth: I don't like the dark, Okay, okay.
- 10:22Carmen Lezeth: Okay, All right, that makes sense.
- 10:23Carmen Lezeth: All right, well, cool, that's fun.
- 10:24Carmen Lezeth: I said that we were going to talk about friendships and I want to bring it up for the.
- 10:27Carmen Lezeth: Oh wait, Tony, did you want to yell at Nazeem or something before we get into this next part?
- 10:31Carmen Lezeth: Were you and I going to fight about it?
- 10:38Nazim Beltran: No, he's got his shirt on, so I'm actually pretty good.
- 10:40Nazim Beltran: Naze, I was going to surprise you, but then I thought that might be a little too much.
- 10:43Tony D.: Listen, y'all don't understand.
- 10:44Tony D.: Let me go ahead and tell this story.
- 10:45Tony D.: I first met Nazeem right, and I hate to do it like this, but we had fun.
- 10:48Tony D.: He told me it wasn't a problem.
- 10:49Tony D.: So he let me know if I'd go too far.
- 10:50Tony D.: Me, him and Bathurst was on.
- 10:54Tony D.: I was actually driving to an appointment and I jumped on with them, nazeem, I turned and looked at him.
- 11:00Tony D.: He's sitting there, laid out right.
- 11:01Tony D.: If you've ever seen the Godfather 2, remember when Michael went down to Cuba and he was talking to that dude that had all his chest just hanging out on the beach it's so true.
- 11:10Tony D.: I said Nazeem, what in the absolute?
- 11:13Tony D.: I said wait a damn minute, why are you up in here with a damn poodle on your chest?
- 11:20Tony D.: That was so funny, everybody was laughing.
- 11:22Nazim Beltran: We had a good time.
- 11:23Nazim Beltran: We had a great time.
- 11:24Tony D.: Like this is day one.
- 11:25Tony D.: I'm glad he took it in stride.
- 11:26Nazim Beltran: He realized Richard remembers he saw that.
- 11:28Carmen Lezeth: Well, that's how I met you.
- 11:29Carmen Lezeth: I don't know if it was that episode, but that was.
- 11:31Carmen Lezeth: You were all very comfortable, way too comfortable on half.
- 11:35Tony D.: Because we didn't have anything against each other.
- 11:38Tony D.: We were all looking to have fun.
- 11:41Tony D.: Most of the guys we shot the proverbial on the daily with no problems, like when guys go to the bar and want to just hang out.
- 11:46Tony D.: That was how we're treating.
- 11:47Tony D.: I remember telling you a lot of times you didn't understand it at first, you didn't see it.
- 11:49Tony D.: I had to see it from everybody else before I realized what was going on, and that's why I was up there with everybody.
- 11:53Tony D.: So then I mean literally there was 15 of us every night cracking jokes for hours.
- 11:59Cynthia Ruiz: It was crazy.
- 11:59Carmen Lezeth: All about the joy no, no, I did not say all about the joy, nothing, that's bullshit, I think.
- 12:07Carmen Lezeth: Okay.
- 12:07Carmen Lezeth: So what I meant was because there were good parts and I understand that that's the part you hold on to, but as an outsider who came into it, for me it was more negative than positive and there's nothing to do with the times that you guys had that were really, really fun, because those moments were great, right, and again, I you know I was messing with you about how much you would, would tony would be on any show.
- 12:26Carmen Lezeth: That wasn't, that he wasn't hosting and he would be talking to people as he's eating and then the work and that I don't care about, you know.
- 12:32Carmen Lezeth: But then he would be like, with no problem.
- 12:35Carmen Lezeth: I was like, oh my god, and I think it was fun because we would, I would just mess with you and laugh at you, and that's why he always says he behaves on my show.
- 12:41Tony D.: I do behave.
- 12:42Tony D.: Behave on the show.
- 12:42Tony D.: I don't vape, I won't floss.
- 12:43Tony D.: I'm sitting here, good, clean, for an hour, just for her.
- 12:46Carmen Lezeth: There's no problem dissing me and messing with me or whatever, if you ever see any broadcast.
- 12:50Tony D.: I do, I don't care.
- 12:51Tony D.: Everybody was videoconferencing for about four years.
- 12:53Tony D.: People are at home.
- 12:54Tony D.: You get kids in the background.
- 12:55Tony D.: People are cleaning up.
- 12:56Tony D.: People don't turn their camera on, they drive.
- 12:57Tony D.: We did everything pretty much presentable.
- 13:07Tony D.: To an extent, the nakedness is cool with the chest hair stuff.
- 13:08Carmen Lezeth: Don't get me started on that.
- 13:09Carmen Lezeth: No, look it.
- 13:09Carmen Lezeth: I think it was fun.
- 13:11Carmen Lezeth: I could see why Haps did work, but I understood exactly why it didn't.
- 13:16Nazim Beltran: Richard's happy.
- 13:17Carmen Lezeth: Tony is always the person that's doing 15 other things while he's on anybody's show.
- 13:20Tony D.: Unless I'm on all of her norms.
- 13:24Carmen Lezeth: Unless you're on all of her noise, unless you're on the economic show, my parents or whatever.
- 13:27Carmen Lezeth: But I did want to talk about friendships for this reason, because one of the questions I had is I consider you guys friends, except Tony.
- 13:33Carmen Lezeth: It's so weird because I haven't met the three of you.
- 13:36Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 13:37Nazim Beltran: I've met, of course, cynthia's, my cousin, and I find that interesting because I have people in my real life who think they're my friend and they're not ironic well, let's, let me tell you I I remember back in the day it was it was like kind of like you would get a little obsessed, like I want to see the gang and you would come on and I would go on in certain hours of the night which I was supposed to be sleeping, but I would work, wake up on purpose and go, damn, I gotta join, and I would come in and I think a lot of really good friendships came out of it.
- 14:08Nazim Beltran: There was a little bit, once in a blue moon, a little, you know, trolling issues and things like that, but I think we all handled it very well, right, tony Right?
- 14:16Tony D.: Rick and I think I carried a lot personally for me with what I had going on.
- 14:20Tony D.: I went to the optimism and people were just talking about what's going on.
- 14:25Tony D.: All of us would listen to each other's day and then we would just have fun.
- 14:28Tony D.: You know, you had different demographics from all over the globe enjoying themselves, knowing the same songs, having the same conversations, aware of the same current events.
- 14:34Tony D.: It was priceless to me.
- 14:34Tony D.: It really was.
- 14:35Tony D.: But the flip side is what I remember, because I seem to have come in during that.
- 14:43Carmen Lezeth: No, no, no, because Cynthia doesn't really know.
- 14:45Carmen Lezeth: So I don't want to glorify what it was, because you guys have sweet memories.
- 14:50Carmen Lezeth: You were also on it much longer than I was.
- 14:52Nazim Beltran: We were, but why is it no?
- 14:53Carmen Lezeth: longer around right.
- 14:55Nazim Beltran: Oh, that part.
- 14:56Nazim Beltran: Yeah, it's true.
- 14:56Carmen Lezeth: And all those other people are.
- 14:58Carmen Lezeth: I'm not going to talk about the other people, but you know what I'm saying.
- 15:01Carmen Lezeth: You know what I'm saying.
- 15:01Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 15:02Carmen Lezeth: You know what I'm saying.
- 15:02Carmen Lezeth: It became, there was a toxicity that kind of helped with the ending of it.
- 15:06Carmen Lezeth: So I said this to someone the other day.
- 15:08Carmen Lezeth: I said you keep referring to somebody that is no longer here and you keep forgetting that you fired them, right.
- 15:13Carmen Lezeth: So this person keeps saying, oh my God, when they did it, they did it so perfectly, it was easy.
- 15:18Carmen Lezeth: And then I'm like and you fired them, so stop putting that on the team, like the reason why we don't have it, whatever we're supposed to have it.
- 15:25Carmen Lezeth: And it's like we tend to like.
- 15:26Carmen Lezeth: I know people who have died that all of a sudden they're on this pedestal.
- 15:29Carmen Lezeth: They never did anything wrong.
- 15:30Carmen Lezeth: That doesn't mean they deserve to die, but we tend to remember the good things and I think that's a positivity.
- 15:35Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 15:36Carmen Lezeth: Cynthia, as an outsider of the four elsewhere, what's your take on?
- 15:42Carmen Lezeth: Do you feel like you're friends with Rick and Well, you don't know Nazeem, but maybe in your heart, because you want to go to Italy, do you think you're friends with, with familia.
- 15:53Carmen Lezeth: Isn't that how you say it Get that guest room ready.
- 16:00Nazim Beltran: I had some friends in very high places, so be very careful.
- 16:06Rick Costa: You know the Pope.
- 16:07Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, I'm getting the Pope like this but, cynthia, I'm just curious what your thoughts are from meeting some people that you don't know, that you've met on the show.
- 16:16Cynthia Ruiz: Yeah, I mean, I feel like you know, rick and Tony are my friends now, you know, I mean Alma Hi, alma Hi.
- 16:22Nazim Beltran: Alma Good morning.
- 16:23Cynthia Ruiz: You know, just being on the show and getting to know them and stuff like that, it's, it's really cool, I mean, even though we were like what, two hours from from rick and a few hours from tony, like yeah, but I think it's kind of interesting too because I like coming and doing the show, so I work what 50s?
- 16:41Carmen Lezeth: it's been terrible because I mean, usually I don't have this much work, so I'm grateful for it.
- 16:46Carmen Lezeth: But I'm exhausted.
- 16:47Carmen Lezeth: And I think it was Andrea.
- 16:48Carmen Lezeth: The other day we had dinner.
- 16:49Carmen Lezeth: She was like, how are you doing that?
- 16:51Carmen Lezeth: Like, how are you?
- 16:51Carmen Lezeth: I'm like because coming on here and talking and having fun is what makes me get through the day.
- 16:57Carmen Lezeth: Now, like because I don't have so much time and this is the only thing, I make sure I turned off all my clients on my phone because they're always calling me when we're online, as if they don't know I'm online, so I get that attraction to it.
- 17:09Carmen Lezeth: I understand what Tony was saying and that you guys loved going on to Habs.
- 17:12Carmen Lezeth: I think it was a great possibility.
- 17:14Carmen Lezeth: I think somehow along the way, I'm always getting bad with everything.
- 17:18Carmen Lezeth: By the way, I don't mean to dis Habs, I just don't want to over, glorify it, but yeah, I'm wondering.
- 17:24Nazim Beltran: Let me ask you a question what platform is there now that's similar?
- 17:28Carmen Lezeth: There really is.
- 17:28Carmen Lezeth: I mean, as far as I know there really isn't one and in a way I'm kind of glad.
- 17:31Carmen Lezeth: I like having some control over, because that's what I think was a problem for me at HAPS.
- 17:37Carmen Lezeth: Like, even if you go visit someone's channel and you try to comment, you know you offend somebody or whatever, and then people are talking about you in another stream and now I don't.
- 17:47Carmen Lezeth: I mean not that I ever cared, but it became a toxic thing because it was in one app area.
- 17:52Carmen Lezeth: Does that make sense?
- 17:53Tony D.: I can say that there's a couple of apps that could be close or similar, but they don't have what we have.
- 17:57Tony D.: And I'm around a bunch of apps.
- 17:59Tony D.: I jumped around a few places.
- 18:00Tony D.: A lot of places don't have what we had.
- 18:05Tony D.: They just don't, and the opportunity to do so much with each other was something I was pushing.
- 18:07Tony D.: I had to let a lot of it go.
- 18:08Tony D.: You know, it's been a couple of years.
- 18:09Tony D.: I just stopped worrying about everybody else.
- 18:11Tony D.: Someone just had to do me or how we're doing this.
- 18:13Tony D.: But broadcast with any and everybody I'm always going to be willing to do.
- 18:16Tony D.: I have fun doing it.
- 18:17Tony D.: That's how I started learning to broadcast.
- 18:19Tony D.: Learning to carry conversations, learning to interact and us having a global audience was something I was trying to run with for the longest and I got to let people be.
- 18:25Tony D.: So I'm just going to do my thing.
- 18:27Tony D.: I'll come up here with Carmen.
- 18:28Tony D.: I'll jump on everybody's show.
- 18:29Tony D.: It's not a problem to me, but I over-glorify, like she says I do.
- 18:36Tony D.: I had too much down.
- 18:37Carmen Lezeth: I've never been on live with people and played Uno.
- 18:38Carmen Lezeth: That was the most bananas.
- 18:40Carmen Lezeth: No, that was fantastic.
- 18:40Carmen Lezeth: That actually was fun, yeah that was cool, cynthia.
- 18:42Tony D.: we would play Uno.
- 18:43Tony D.: There would be eight of us with cards in our hands playing Uno and people were watching us.
- 18:47Carmen Lezeth: Just like this, and then people were in the chat room and it was just real, and also when they did the karaoke.
- 18:51Rick Costa: Yeah, I was going to say don't forget karaoke.
- 18:53Carmen Lezeth: Karaoke was fun when people did it.
- 18:54Carmen Lezeth: I'm trying to.
- 18:55Tony D.: It was fun, but the replay was horrendous.
- 18:57Carmen Lezeth: Because you're being so technical about to karaoke, to just sing it and sound like a fool.
- 19:02Tony D.: The audio was horrendous because it was off.
- 19:04Tony D.: We thought we was on cue when we were singing, but when we listened, everybody was different.
- 19:07Tony D.: It was terrible.
- 19:08Tony D.: It looked like Max Hedren was singing with himself.
- 19:10Tony D.: It was that bad.
- 19:11Tony D.: But, I think what I like.
- 19:13Cynthia Ruiz: Go ahead.
- 19:17Nazim Beltran: When did HAPS end?
- 19:18Nazim Beltran: It was before COVID.
- 19:19Nazim Beltran: Correct May 5th 2022.
- 19:21Nazim Beltran: It was right before COVID.
- 19:23Carmen Lezeth: No, it was after COVID.
- 19:24Carmen Lezeth: That's why I called them.
- 19:25Nazim Beltran: It was after COVID.
- 19:26Tony D.: You're right, may 5th 2022, the last day of house.
- 19:30Rick Costa: I think that's why there was so many people on there, I think partly because of COVID, because everybody was stuck at home.
- 19:34Nazim Beltran: Yes, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, it was a lifesaver.
- 19:38Carmen Lezeth: I still think it was a great idea and I know people don't want me to say this, but I still think that the people who owned it and managed it made a lot of missteps and it's unfortunate because it was a great business idea and plan.
- 19:50Carmen Lezeth: But yeah, I mean, you know, I just like that.
- 19:53Carmen Lezeth: I really believe I've made some friends from there, like Ted Hicks too.
- 19:56Carmen Lezeth: You know it's a cool.
- 19:57Carmen Lezeth: What's wrong with Tony D laughing?
- 20:00Carmen Lezeth: What's he laughing at?
- 20:00Carmen Lezeth: I'm reading the chat as you're talking.
- 20:03Carmen Lezeth: What he's?
- 20:04Tony D.: reading the chat.
- 20:05Carmen Lezeth: Tony know that day very well.
- 20:08Carmen Lezeth: What day is Sadie talking about the Mayfans?
- 20:11Carmen Lezeth: Play, play too.
- 20:12Carmen Lezeth: Oh, what happened?
- 20:13Carmen Lezeth: Oh, no, never mind If it's something I don't talk about.
- 20:15Carmen Lezeth: What that the day ended.
- 20:17Tony D.: Yes, that's it, that's what I was saying.
- 20:20Rick Costa: Because even on that day there was drama, there was literally two people fighting over.
- 20:24Rick Costa: No, I was the last one on there.
- 20:25Rick Costa: No, I was the last one on there.
- 20:26Rick Costa: No, I was the last one.
- 20:28Rick Costa: Are you serious?
- 20:30Rick Costa: Are we in elementary school?
- 20:32Tony D.: I forgot about that.
- 20:33Rick Costa: Yeah, it's crazy.
- 20:34Carmen Lezeth: I think it became addictive for so many people.
- 20:37Rick Costa: Yes yes.
- 20:37Carmen Lezeth: Because they didn't have anything else outside to do.
- 20:41Carmen Lezeth: So everything became haps, and I get it, but that's why it became toxic.
- 20:48Nazim Beltran: It was a huge time suck.
- 20:49Nazim Beltran: In certain ways, my wife was like my wife's like don't you like have to concentrate on work instead of yeah, yeah, yeah?
- 20:56Carmen Lezeth: it was.
- 20:57Carmen Lezeth: It was real and I mean, I think everyone needs to have a social life and I'm not messing with anybody doing it online, because I know right now coming here, this gives me life.
- 21:07Carmen Lezeth: You especially when you're working all weekend.
- 21:09Carmen Lezeth: Tony, why are you laughing so?
- 21:10Tony D.: hard.
- 21:11Tony D.: You know what I hate to say it?
- 21:13Tony D.: Rick is petty.
- 21:13Tony D.: I've been trying to do this, but you are petty as hell.
- 21:16Tony D.: You know that right, Hi, Cup of Joe, Hi.
- 21:18Carmen Lezeth: Mario.
- 21:18Carmen Lezeth: Okay, why is he petty?
- 21:22Carmen Lezeth: What did he say?
- 21:22Carmen Lezeth: The last thing he just said I didn't say no names.
- 21:25Tony D.: There were people who was actually like I was the last one.
- 21:27Tony D.: No, I was the last one.
- 21:28Tony D.: No, I was the last one.
- 21:28Tony D.: That did happen.
- 21:29Tony D.: I forgot about that.
- 21:29Tony D.: I didn't say no names.
- 21:30Carmen Lezeth: Melanie, you're right.
- 21:31Carmen Lezeth: Tiktok, lives are similar.
- 21:43Tony D.: I was going to say, Melanie, that TikTok would pretty much be the closest to what we have with yeah, let's say that's a part.
- 21:47Carmen Lezeth: You didn't know about it.
- 21:48Carmen Lezeth: So the the thing on haps that was pretty cool is when you were doing your show, people who were watching your show, if they wanted to, could send you hearts or something and they were worth money and what was even better.
- 21:59Carmen Lezeth: Okay, if I have to remember one cool thing about haps, I will give you all one.
- 22:02Carmen Lezeth: Let's say tony was doing a show whatever and we were all giving him, whatever it was, the heart.
- 22:06Carmen Lezeth: So they all equal money, certain amounts, whatever.
- 22:08Carmen Lezeth: What would be cool is you would see Tony the next day giving all that money to somebody else who needed it or whatever, and it was cool because you would make money on it and it would hold like in a little bank on the app, not bank, whatever it was and you could cash it out or use it to give other people hearts.
- 22:23Cynthia Ruiz: So most people I'm not I don't know, but it felt like most people would get hearts and then we'd all then support somebody else or when somebody was in trouble, you know, like somebody in the crew that is kind of like the tiktok live, because they do that too they do that too.
- 22:39Carmen Lezeth: But what was great is you get the money.
- 22:40Carmen Lezeth: So so tony would do a show and he'd get all these hearts because he's talking about a good subject or he's being funny or whatever, and of course none of that's true.
- 22:46Carmen Lezeth: But I'm just gonna say it was.
- 22:48Carmen Lezeth: It was totally true.
- 22:49Carmen Lezeth: It was totally true.
- 22:49Carmen Lezeth: Um and and then, like he would have all these hearts, and then the next show or some other show that he would be in the chat room in, or whatever, tony would be giving out that money to those people, not because he had to, because you could cash out at like 200 bucks or something, because I remember I cashed it out a couple of times, right, and you must've cashed it out or give it away so many more times because you were on there much more than I was.
- 23:10Tony D.: I didn't make as much as I spent.
- 23:12Carmen Lezeth: Exactly, but I'm talking about the money you would get, and so that, I think, was cause I remember one specific person I won't mention them, but one specific person got in trouble with something and they were just sharing what was going on and all of a sudden it's like some signal went out to everyone.
- 23:25Carmen Lezeth: It didn't, but we all heard about it because it's like it was like you lived all in the same house or something and I didn't even know the person, but I knew.
- 23:33Carmen Lezeth: Okay, I got to give something you know what I mean and that person ended up getting home.
- 23:37Carmen Lezeth: I remember something about they were stuck somewhere.
- 23:39Tony D.: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, and they couldn't get home.
- 23:41Tony D.: She was stuck at the airport.
- 23:42Tony D.: 17 of us jumped out of nowhere.
- 23:44Carmen Lezeth: It was unbelievable and even if you didn't know the person, we would just like automatically try to help.
- 23:47Tony D.: I thought that was probably one of the best things the community I hold on to Carmen and if I don't mean anything else, if I don't stand strong on anything else.
- 23:54Tony D.: That wasn't the only instance we ever did that for anybody.
- 23:56Tony D.: And the number of times, even online, if we heard something, the way people jumped.
- 24:02Tony D.: I'm never letting that go.
- 24:04Tony D.: I don't care who hates me, no, they do.
- 24:06Tony D.: Yeah, because people are tired of me talking about it.
- 24:08Tony D.: And I always tell people I say you know, some of you don't even have this type of support in real life.
- 24:11Tony D.: Y'all kiss my ass.
- 24:12Tony D.: We jumped from around the globe.
- 24:14Tony D.: Who's stuck where?
- 24:15Tony D.: Who needs help?
- 24:16Tony D.: Who can't pay a bill?
- 24:17Tony D.: Who needs to change a tire?
- 24:28Carmen Lezeth: Who's on the road?
- 24:29Carmen Lezeth: Who?
- 24:29Tony D.: that was something I held on real tight too, and that was something I was always fighting for a lot of people for, and even when I did my interview, rick was there for that nazim, I think he was there too.
- 24:37Tony D.: Crumb, I think you might have made that one when I did it with tracy from baywatch with the boobie slippage.
- 24:44Carmen Lezeth: No, I was not there.
- 24:45Carmen Lezeth: I heard about it.
- 24:46Carmen Lezeth: I'm so sorry, that's all.
- 24:48Carmen Lezeth: I wasn't there, whoops, I'm sorry.
- 24:51Tony D.: I thought they were there for eight hours, and that's all everybody remembers.
- 24:54Carmen Lezeth: Because that's what happens when that happens, Tony.
- 24:56Carmen Lezeth: That's why you don't want that to happen.
- 24:58Tony D.: I tried.
- 24:58Tony D.: This is what I'm talking about.
- 25:01Carmen Lezeth: I know so he was interviewing somebody from Baywatch.
- 25:04Tony D.: Tracy Dinger from Baywatch.
- 25:05Tony D.: She came, one of the guys she's actually from Boston.
- 25:07Carmen Lezeth: by the way, Cynthia, You'll have to.
- 25:09Tony D.: Anyway.
- 25:10Carmen Lezeth: Whoa, whoa, whoa.
- 25:12Carmen Lezeth: What do you mean?
- 25:13Carmen Lezeth: Boston with a face?
- 25:14Tony D.: Because you had to throw that in there.
- 25:15Tony D.: That's right, because.
- 25:17Carmen Lezeth: I assume Cynthia would know exactly who that is.
- 25:20Tony D.: Who started on you with that Don't, don't count.
- 25:22Tony D.: I don't like that.
- 25:24Carmen Lezeth: Don't count to me.
- 25:31Nazim Beltran: And Richard got shortchanged on him.
- 25:34Tony D.: They never responded to his emails.
- 25:35Tony D.: I was trying to help him when he got it Because you know everybody was catching up when he shut down.
- 25:37Tony D.: A lot of people didn't.
- 25:39Tony D.: There was a few of us trying to get the connections there for him and he never got his.
- 25:48Carmen Lezeth: He never got his and I was trying to.
- 25:49Carmen Lezeth: I don't know.
- 25:49Carmen Lezeth: Mark Goldstein is on LinkedIn Send him an email.
- 25:50Carmen Lezeth: Seriously, or Goldman Goldman, right, that's right, goldman, and send him an email.
- 25:54Tony D.: I had a great conversation with him the first time I met him.
- 25:56Tony D.: I had a great conversation with him.
- 25:57Carmen Lezeth: He's the guy.
- 25:58Carmen Lezeth: He's one of the co-creators of the apps.
- 25:59Tony D.: Yes, but we have.
- 26:03Tony D.: I'm not going to keep talking.
- 26:03Tony D.: It's been 12 minutes.
- 26:04Rick Costa: I'm sorry, go ahead.
- 26:04Rick Costa: The one thing I can say that cracked me up, but not in a good way is I know dang well what you are typing to me right here or talking to me right here.
- 26:11Rick Costa: You would not say that to my actual face.
- 26:13Carmen Lezeth: Wait what's happening.
- 26:14Carmen Lezeth: Who said what?
- 26:15Rick Costa: What's on the chat right now?
- 26:16Rick Costa: No, no, no In Haps.
- 26:17Rick Costa: You would not say that to my face?
- 26:19Rick Costa: No, you wouldn't.
- 26:23Tony D.: I couldn't of that.
- 26:24Tony D.: I tried to avoid a lot of the craziness.
- 26:27Carmen Lezeth: You know what?
- 26:27Carmen Lezeth: We're going to stop talking about Haps right now, because you're about to lie your ass off.
- 26:32Cynthia Ruiz: You know what?
- 26:32Carmen Lezeth: Nobody's believing you.
- 26:33Carmen Lezeth: You were all up in that.
- 26:36Carmen Lezeth: We're done 33 minutes.
- 26:39Carmen Lezeth: We're done with Haps.
- 26:41Cynthia Ruiz: Mario was about to get his boxing glove.
- 26:43Cynthia Ruiz: He's like wait what?
- 26:44Cynthia Ruiz: We're going to start having it now.
- 26:48Rick Costa: Razim, I have a question what made you go to Italy?
- 26:53Nazim Beltran: Oh, I fell in love with my current wife.
- 26:55Nazim Beltran: That's an old story.
- 26:56Nazim Beltran: We met at a party in Miami and after three, six months I proposed it was real fast, Wow.
- 27:06Carmen Lezeth: And how long have you been married?
- 27:08Nazim Beltran: We've been married for 33 years Wow, thank you.
- 27:11Nazim Beltran: She always jokes that she thinks.
- 27:15Nazim Beltran: At the beginning she says I had a feeling you just wanted to marry me for my money.
- 27:19Nazim Beltran: Oh my gosh.
- 27:25Rick Costa: That's funny.
- 27:26Carmen Lezeth: I love that.
- 27:26Carmen Lezeth: That's such a cool romantic story.
- 27:28Carmen Lezeth: Although I'd, like to hear her perspective.
- 27:30Carmen Lezeth: What would she say?
- 27:32Nazim Beltran: We were talking about it the other day, she was like it's pretty funny because she said if you wouldn't have married me, you would have been stuck in Miami, Probably like at a car wash cleaning cars.
- 27:46Tony D.: What are you talking?
- 27:47Nazim Beltran: about I was already an architect.
- 27:48Nazim Beltran: She's like yeah, but without me.
- 27:50Nazim Beltran: I love that, I love her already.
- 27:54Rick Costa: I love her too.
- 27:55Carmen Lezeth: I love her too, that's awesome Ego, I like it.
- 27:58Cynthia Ruiz: Ego.
- 27:58Nazim Beltran: She's confident, that's right, she's very confident, healthy that's what they do Like ego.
- 28:05Carmen Lezeth: That's not bad.
- 28:06Carmen Lezeth: It is bad because for a man, no one would say that Trust me, I would say that to anybody.
- 28:11Carmen Lezeth: You know what?
- 28:12Carmen Lezeth: See, I shouldn't have said a word.
- 28:16Rick Costa: We should have just been like yeah, Yell at Rick later.
- 28:19Nazim Beltran: One of the stories I tell on that show called Don't Tell my Mom.
- 28:21Nazim Beltran: I told the wedding night, which is when, basically, we got married on South Beach and I got plastered.
- 28:30Nazim Beltran: She walked out.
- 28:30Nazim Beltran: She kept looking at me.
- 28:31Nazim Beltran: She's going like stop it, stop it.
- 28:33Nazim Beltran: I was like.
- 28:34Nazim Beltran: I ended up in the middle of vomit at a gay club.
- 28:40Nazim Beltran: My friend picked me up at 6 in the morning and said dude, you overdid it.
- 28:47Nazim Beltran: The next day she's like I'm divorcing you.
- 28:49Nazim Beltran: That's the marriage ever wow it's a pretty funny when I tell that story on people at the club.
- 28:57Nazim Beltran: They laugh a lot.
- 28:58Cynthia Ruiz: But women look at me like hey, 33 years I that's funny because me and juan, when we got married, you know, we had a reception.
- 29:04Cynthia Ruiz: Everybody went home and that night our friend of ours, we had a reception, everybody went home, and that night our friend of ours was spinning at a club and we went to the club right after our wedding and I still had my bail on and everything, and did Juan get plastered?
- 29:17Cynthia Ruiz: No, we didn't get plastered, but we had fun.
- 29:23Carmen Lezeth: I was waiting to hear the plastered part.
- 29:24Carmen Lezeth: Wow, I had an issue with somebody online at LinkedIn.
- 29:29Carmen Lezeth: So first let me say thank you to the five people who added us this week.
- 29:32Carmen Lezeth: Again, I'm always shocked by LinkedIn and people think I'm weird, but you can only get so many people to follow you on a business website and I'm just shocked by it.
- 29:43Carmen Lezeth: But anyways, so there's a lot of people.
- 29:45Carmen Lezeth: When you're on LinkedIn, you'll get a DM that says you want to add me as a network and I do.
- 29:50Carmen Lezeth: I don't care.
- 29:50Carmen Lezeth: You know, if you want to cause, maybe they'll follow the show, maybe they'll whatever, I don't care.
- 29:53Carmen Lezeth: There might be a contact I can use in the future.
- 29:55Carmen Lezeth: You never know, but you always know it's not going to work.
- 29:57Carmen Lezeth: When the next day they're pitching you something would never need at all, Like it doesn't.
- 30:08Carmen Lezeth: It would take you two seconds to actually read my profile on LinkedIn.
- 30:11Carmen Lezeth: You don't even have to go outside of LinkedIn to know that I have no interest in needing a Bobcat.
- 30:15Carmen Lezeth: I don't even know what that is.
- 30:16Carmen Lezeth: Isn't that like farm equipment or something?
- 30:20Cynthia Ruiz: Right?
- 30:20Cynthia Ruiz: Isn't that like some construction truck type thing and like the?
- 30:24Carmen Lezeth: salesperson won't stop talking about it.
- 30:26Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 30:27Carmen Lezeth: I'm like, and I think it's not just one, it's like you get so many of them so I've stopped adding people, because I just need a break, like I don't like to not add, like read the stuff, because it's usually people who are actually interested in the show which is what boggles my mind, you know what I mean or they're interested in what I do, because I don't have that listed on there too much either of my real life.
- 30:44Carmen Lezeth: But do you guys get a lot of that kind of crap in your emails?
- 30:48Carmen Lezeth: Or?
- 30:48Nazim Beltran: in your dating or whatever.
- 30:49Nazim Beltran: I get a lot on LinkedIn.
- 30:52Nazim Beltran: What I get a lot is programmers from India a lot.
- 30:54Nazim Beltran: And it's like, oh, can we do something for your digital agency?
- 30:58Nazim Beltran: And I'm like, yeah, we already got the staff and you know, thank you.
- 31:03Carmen Lezeth: Oh, you answer them back.
- 31:04Nazim Beltran: I do, I'm very nice.
- 31:05Nazim Beltran: I try once I don't.
- 31:09Nazim Beltran: I basically answer everybody like no, thanks a lot, I'm not interested.
- 31:12Nazim Beltran: But because LinkedIn, at the end of the day, it was born as a platform for business.
- 31:18Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, but it's changing because it's trying to be more social.
- 31:21Carmen Lezeth: More social and they're adding everything under the sun that TikTok does or YouTube.
- 31:27Carmen Lezeth: They're trying to compete, and that's still wrong.
- 31:30Nazim Beltran: Wait till they add AI.
- 31:32Rick Costa: I know.
- 31:32Nazim Beltran: You're going to have a little chat thing going like hi.
- 31:35Carmen Lezeth: What's the AI?
- 31:36Carmen Lezeth: There's AI on all these platforms too.
- 31:38Nazim Beltran: Yes, everything's getting AI and we can talk about that.
- 31:44Nazim Beltran: Boy, I don't know.
- 31:46Nazim Beltran: Right now I'm taking a course, just picking up on things, because for my business it's quite important, but I think there's a lot of oversell on it.
- 31:54Nazim Beltran: Right now Everybody's like, oh, this is going to be the next thing, since, you know, slice bread, but I think the jury's still out a little bit.
- 32:02Nazim Beltran: And then there's a lot of the news is like, oh, jobs are going to be lost, people are going to be going.
- 32:06Nazim Beltran: But, yes, this is a possibility, but it's still too early to understand what's going to happen.
- 32:11Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, Well, the only thing I'll add about AI on the jobs front is whenever we move forward as a species, like whenever we do, what are you doing?
- 32:20Nazim Beltran: She's framing us.
- 32:21Carmen Lezeth: I'm sorry, I'll shake my leg you should be like a model for like toothpaste or something.
- 32:28Carmen Lezeth: It's cute, but it's just.
- 32:32Cynthia Ruiz: I'm sorry okay, okay, I'm sorry tony, I'm sorry, I'm sorry that's like, though you know.
- 32:40Rick Costa: Anytime you want me to shut up, just pull that up, um it's funny that we're talking about ai, because I literally just saw a video that talked about.
- 32:47Rick Costa: Think about how many movies they've made that AI is going to be evil and destroy us.
- 32:52Nazim Beltran: Space.
- 32:52Rick Costa: Odyssey 2001 how.
- 32:54Rick Costa: And then Jennifer Lopez just did a movie called Atlas stop, we're not promoting anything.
- 32:58Rick Costa: Well, they said it was so bad that it was funny.
- 33:02Carmen Lezeth: Jennifer Lopez said it was funny it's too embarrassing, as Latinas, to talk about Jennifer Lopez.
- 33:10Nazim Beltran: Let me just use my thing about AI.
- 33:11Nazim Beltran: She's looking good lately.
- 33:14Carmen Lezeth: I just want to say this thing about AI Every time we make progress as a human species, whether it's fire the wheel you know having computers, you know having mobile phones that conversation about jobs are going to be lost is a factual thing.
- 33:30Carmen Lezeth: But more jobs will be created in other ways.
- 33:32Carmen Lezeth: That's how we move forward.
- 33:33Carmen Lezeth: So that part doesn't bother me, but I do agree with what you said.
- 33:37Carmen Lezeth: I think it's too early.
- 33:38Carmen Lezeth: I agree with you.
- 33:39Carmen Lezeth: I think they're too early and putting it out there and scaring people after death.
- 33:43Nazim Beltran: And.
- 33:44Carmen Lezeth: I just got a notification that something was taken off my website and is being used on AI.
- 33:49Carmen Lezeth: That's all I'm going to say about it right now.
- 33:51Carmen Lezeth: And it is a question because, especially if you're not like a famous person or but they just did it to what's her name from the Marvel characters, they used her voice.
- 33:59Carmen Lezeth: What's her?
- 34:00Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, took her voice and used it from a sample.
- 34:04Carmen Lezeth: Use it from one.
- 34:04Carmen Lezeth: She actually did it and used AI to create it without her permission.
- 34:09Carmen Lezeth: So he has the money and she has the visibility to make a thing, but to people like us they're taking.
- 34:14Carmen Lezeth: What are we going to do, Unless someone tells me that it's happening?
- 34:17Carmen Lezeth: And what are we going to do?
- 34:18Carmen Lezeth: I mean, I don't have that kind of money to sue, or you?
- 34:20Nazim Beltran: know I need to.
- 34:21Nazim Beltran: I need to give some advice to everybody who, and also people in here if you're using chat GPT, do not put anything that's related to your business or things like that, or stuff that you don't want out there, because it's grabbing that and putting it in its database.
- 34:36Carmen Lezeth: Careful.
- 34:36Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, I'll just tell you, it's my book, my first book.
- 34:40Carmen Lezeth: There are quotes taken from it and stories.
- 34:45Tony D.: Did they at least reference you?
- 34:46Tony D.: I'm sorry, Did they at least reference you when they took it?
- 34:50Carmen Lezeth: No, no no, you know, I've been telling you guys I had to hire a lawyer and he's so cool.
- 34:53Carmen Lezeth: Blah, blah, blah.
- 34:54Carmen Lezeth: That's what we're working on, because I don't know what to do.
- 34:57Carmen Lezeth: Here's the reason why I'm doing it.
- 34:58Carmen Lezeth: I'm not going to be mad.
- 35:00Carmen Lezeth: I'm mad that I wasn't credited.
- 35:02Tony D.: Yes.
- 35:03Carmen Lezeth: Or asked.
- 35:03Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 35:04Carmen Lezeth: Or asked Because my book is available on Amazon.
- 35:07Carmen Lezeth: So what ends up happening is, in a weird kind of way, it's public, but it's not.
- 35:12Carmen Lezeth: It's my property.
- 35:15Nazim Beltran: They wouldn't do that to a big-time author.
- 35:17Nazim Beltran: Well, you know, in our digital agency we have clients that basically do big websites for them and stuff like that, and lately they're discussing with us on how to block the scraping of a website from AI.
- 35:26Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, if you find out, please let me know.
- 35:28Carmen Lezeth: I swear to God, because all I want is to be asked.
- 35:30Nazim Beltran: It's a bit complicated, but it can be done.
- 35:32Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, I'm sorry I cut somebody off.
- 35:34Carmen Lezeth: Atlas was what.
- 35:36Nazim Beltran: Trash Basura.
- 35:37Rick Costa: Trash Basura.
- 35:38Rick Costa: Oh no, no, the movie I thought about the movie.
- 35:41Carmen Lezeth: Oh, I was like who's Atlas?
- 35:43Carmen Lezeth: Okay, what movie is Atlas?
- 35:45Rick Costa: The one you said not to talk about because it had the Latino.
- 35:47Carmen Lezeth: Oh yeah, no, no, no, Okay.
- 35:54Carmen Lezeth: Is that the Jennifer Lopez thing?
- 35:55Tony D.: Yes, yeah no, we just just just I saw the basketball.
- 35:57Carmen Lezeth: I know, but I thought it was basketball.
- 35:58Rick Costa: I can see that.
- 35:59Carmen Lezeth: I can see that you guys were talking about basketball, yeah.
- 36:02Rick Costa: Because he said I hope he got pants on.
- 36:05Tony D.: Don't open that door either, please.
- 36:07Carmen Lezeth: How was you guys week actually?
- 36:09Carmen Lezeth: Cynthia, you had something to say there.
- 36:11Rick Costa: Oh no.
- 36:13Carmen Lezeth: What happened.
- 36:13Cynthia Ruiz: I wasn't going to talk about it, but so I'm still, you know, I'm still in my old job right now and where my desk is, you know, there's three of us that sit there and there's a freestanding wall between us and like where our supplies are and everything.
- 36:26Cynthia Ruiz: And so I hear some water trickling and I'm thinking somebody's pouring a drink into a cup.
- 36:31Cynthia Ruiz: I turn around, no, there's a waterfall coming down from the floor office, let's go.
- 36:37Cynthia Ruiz: And it got everywhere and I mean it flooded our whole area and yeah, it's been a mess.
- 36:45Carmen Lezeth: See, I would have been like oh day off.
- 36:46Carmen Lezeth: Let me know when everything's fixed I'll see you guys tomorrow.
- 36:49Cynthia Ruiz: Oh, you would think they would send everybody home.
- 36:51Cynthia Ruiz: No, still saw patients and oh yeah, all they did was just move us out into the waiting area check patients in.
- 36:59Cynthia Ruiz: And yeah, and they did was just move us out into the waiting area, check patients in, and yeah, and today this happened.
- 37:02Cynthia Ruiz: This happened on Tuesday morning and today was the day they actually decided to close the office for the afternoon because the doctors were complaining about it.
- 37:11Cynthia Ruiz: Well, the employees, the doctors, were complaining now, so now they decided to close it for the afternoon.
- 37:17Cynthia Ruiz: Get it as fixed as they can so we can come back tomorrow.
- 37:20Cynthia Ruiz: Yeah, that's like a Tony move right.
- 37:23Carmen Lezeth: Nazeem is cool, carmen is not.
- 37:25Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 37:25Carmen Lezeth: It's kind of that.
- 37:26Carmen Lezeth: But if Nazeem told him to stop messing with me, then he would probably listen.
- 37:30Carmen Lezeth: You know what I?
- 37:31Nazim Beltran: mean the eyebrow.
- 37:32Nazim Beltran: I got some bad news.
- 37:34Nazim Beltran: I left my battery charger back in Milan.
- 37:40Carmen Lezeth: So, whoops, no, that's okay.
- 37:41Nazim Beltran: Six percent we're going to jump off soon.
- 37:42Nazim Beltran: You don't have to worry about it, we're going to milk that six percent yeah.
- 37:44Nazim Beltran: How long does the show last?
- 37:46Carmen Lezeth: We usually have the show well lately.
- 37:47Carmen Lezeth: We've been going later because you know Tony's been on, but we usually only go for an hour.
- 37:52Nazim Beltran: Okay, good, yeah, I'll make an hour.
- 37:55Carmen Lezeth: I told Cynthia and, I think, rink, that you were probably just going to pop in or whatever, because I thought you would be sleeping and just checking in.
- 38:01Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 38:01Nazim Beltran: I was having a great dream and Jennifer Lopez was in it.
- 38:04Nazim Beltran: No, okay.
- 38:09Carmen Lezeth: That was good.
- 38:10Carmen Lezeth: That'll be a clip.
- 38:13Rick Costa: Jenny from the block showed up.
- 38:14Rick Costa: Oh geez.
- 38:15Carmen Lezeth: No, I'm not mad at her, I'm just disappointed.
- 38:17Carmen Lezeth: I think there are so few Latino artists and then there are none that are Afro-Latino.
- 38:22Carmen Lezeth: So when you see one that has a name and you know what I mean has the power to help other people she's obsessed with herself.
- 38:30Nazim Beltran: Yeah, a little bit self-centered yeah.
- 38:33Carmen Lezeth: And so I think it's just.
- 38:34Carmen Lezeth: I've always supported her because she's a great dancer.
- 38:35Carmen Lezeth: Because she's a great dancer, I'll say nothing about her singing or about her acting, but more props to you.
- 38:39Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 38:40Carmen Lezeth: Like you're a business woman doing your thing, making money however you can, I ain't mad at you, but she's horrible.
- 38:45Nazim Beltran: By the way, when I was living on South Beach, when I met my wife before we moved nobody knows the story I was basically paying rent to Gloria Estefan because and she was the nicest- person.
- 38:57Carmen Lezeth: She's amazing.
- 38:58Carmen Lezeth: You can talk about her if you want.
- 38:59Nazim Beltran: Yeah, she was super cool, very cool, and her husband too, very cool people.
- 39:05Carmen Lezeth: And she's someone who is always supporting other Latinos of every color, all the time and people in general.
- 39:12Carmen Lezeth: But I'm just saying, in the Latino community it's a thing, but you know she's a reina.
- 39:16Carmen Lezeth: How does she say reina, reina Azúcar?
- 39:20Nazim Beltran: No azúcar is the other one.
- 39:21Cynthia Ruiz: No, that's sugar.
- 39:22Cynthia Ruiz: Celia Cruz Azúcar, yeah.
- 39:26Nazim Beltran: I ran into her when I was a kid.
- 39:28Nazim Beltran: I was like 20-something years old, I was at the airport and Celia Cruz was there.
- 39:31Carmen Lezeth: You did not yeah.
- 39:32Nazim Beltran: And I looked at her and she turned around and she goes azúcar.
- 39:34Nazim Beltran: That that's awesome, are you being funny?
- 39:47Carmen Lezeth: are you being?
- 39:48Carmen Lezeth: No, it's a real story yeah, that would be amazing living living in miami.
- 39:49Carmen Lezeth: They're always passing by.
- 39:50Carmen Lezeth: That's amazing.
- 39:50Carmen Lezeth: Oh wow, I love that story that's good, yeah, so that's all it is about her.
- 39:52Carmen Lezeth: I'm just disappointed and I don't get it.
- 39:55Carmen Lezeth: I don't get you know spending how much was it?
- 39:56Carmen Lezeth: 20 million dollars to do that thing we're not going to talk about.
- 39:59Carmen Lezeth: With a movie she did, I think she spent $20 million of her own money and I keep thinking like, but you could have done something that would help other people, or you could do a movie that would help or inspire or whatever.
- 40:10Carmen Lezeth: But no, or just take your money and burn it in the street.
- 40:14Carmen Lezeth: Help warm homeless people, because that would be the only thing you could do.
- 40:18Nazim Beltran: You can put it in a stove and burn it, that's how you do it.
- 40:21Nazim Beltran: I'm an expert in that.
- 40:23Carmen Lezeth: Tony, what's the score?
- 40:24Carmen Lezeth: Who are you talking to it's?
- 40:26Tony D.: 644.
- 40:26Tony D.: I'm not talking to anybody.
- 40:27Tony D.: Are you on another show right now?
- 40:29Tony D.: No, so.
- 40:30Carmen Lezeth: Nazeem, have you seen Ted Hicks' show?
- 40:32Carmen Lezeth: Have you been on there late night?
- 40:33Nazim Beltran: No, he hasn't come on lately a lot.
- 40:37Nazim Beltran: What time is it at?
- 40:38Carmen Lezeth: It's not on.
- 40:39Carmen Lezeth: Is he coming on tonight?
- 40:40Tony D.: Ted normally comes on about 10, 30.
- 40:42Carmen Lezeth: He comes on after us, but he hasn't for a week.
- 40:44Tony D.: He's been on for a week yeah.
- 40:47Nazim Beltran: He's been working on a business, so Okay, I have to confess something Ever since Blab and Haps and all that stuff ended, I've been, you know, a little bit off social media.
- 40:59Nazim Beltran: I haven't spent as much time as I've reached, you know, once in a while.
- 41:03Nazim Beltran: You know, michael also sends me a message and I say chat to him and we're supposed to get and talk to each other, but I'm more concentrated on being busy.
- 41:11Nazim Beltran: I'm not saying that what we do on social media is a waste of time, but no no, I totally get it.
- 41:17Carmen Lezeth: I I feel like I think this has to be.
- 41:19Carmen Lezeth: Just look at, that's why on thursday nights I try to keep this as positive or fun, or you know, tony and I go at it like being funny, but at the end of the day I adore him.
- 41:27Carmen Lezeth: You know, and rick and I, and cynthia and I, were cool people and it's just fun.
- 41:30Carmen Lezeth: Anybody who comes on the show it's just for a little relief, especially if you're working a lot.
- 41:34Carmen Lezeth: But the idea that I would do it every single day, like they were doing on HAPS, and you have nothing else to hang on to.
- 41:40Carmen Lezeth: And that's not to be mean, it's just.
- 41:41Carmen Lezeth: It was during COVID, so everybody was stuck in the house.
- 41:44Carmen Lezeth: No one understood it.
- 41:45Carmen Lezeth: But just to me it's just a part of it and fun.
- 41:47Carmen Lezeth: But before we go and I'm not trying to cut us off, but we're getting to the one hour mark Nazeem is in Italy and can't wake up at three to join us all the time.
- 42:05Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 42:06Rick Costa: All About the Joy Internacional.
- 42:09Cynthia Ruiz: Oh, that's a trick, there you go.
- 42:11Nazim Beltran: There you go.
- 42:12Carmen Lezeth: We'll have an All.
- 42:13Nazim Beltran: About the Joy International version.
- 42:16Carmen Lezeth: I like that.
- 42:17Carmen Lezeth: Rick.
- 42:17Carmen Lezeth: I give you props.
- 42:18Carmen Lezeth: That one was a good one.
- 42:20Carmen Lezeth: That's like Tony making up the all about the joy.
- 42:22Carmen Lezeth: So you know, I've trademarked the name.
- 42:25Carmen Lezeth: It's official now.
- 42:26Carmen Lezeth: I changed the website, Tony.
- 42:27Carmen Lezeth: You didn't get my email, did you?
- 42:28Carmen Lezeth: You got to go check it out.
- 42:30Carmen Lezeth: You haven't asked me what I've been doing this week, so I just wanted to let you finish.
- 42:39Nazim Beltran: Oh, what were you doing?
- 42:39Nazim Beltran: The?
- 42:39Tony D.: airport stuff.
- 42:40Tony D.: I'm still at my job.
- 42:42Tony D.: It'll be 13 years in August.
- 42:43Tony D.: Wow, mic drop.
- 42:46Tony D.: Yesterday actually has been 29 years I've been in Air Force Wow, awesome.
- 42:51Tony D.: I'm actually out of town for a conference right now in.
- 42:56Rick Costa: Tennessee.
- 42:57Rick Costa: It looks like a hotel.
- 42:57Rick Costa: That's a whole other story.
- 42:58Rick Costa: I'm actually out of town for a conference right now.
- 42:59Tony D.: You know Tennessee, yeah, that's a whole nother story.
- 43:01Tony D.: I was going to tell her, I was going to roll through everything else, but yeah.
- 43:04Rick Costa: Do you plan to retire from the Air Force?
- 43:05Tony D.: My brother did, I never thought I would last this long.
- 43:07Tony D.: So, yes, I'm thinking about next year, but smart, since he's telling me to hold on for another decade.
- 43:13Tony D.: So Jason rose up.
- 43:15Tony D.: That's the smart thing to do.
- 43:17Tony D.: I do probably need to change jobs because my body is talking and aching.
- 43:20Tony D.: I don't know if y'all noticed my shoulder was messing with me.
- 43:21Tony D.: That's before we came on.
- 43:24Tony D.: I probably do need to find something else.
- 43:26Tony D.: I'll be Air Force at the very least.
- 43:29Tony D.: Next year will be 30 years.
- 43:30Tony D.: Never thought I'd be long.
- 43:33Carmen Lezeth: If you get married before your retirement, does your wife get half the pension?
- 43:39Tony D.: Good question, that's a great question, her and I.
- 43:43Carmen Lezeth: Carmen D.
- 43:44Carmen Lezeth: I feel it, carmen D.
- 43:47Tony D.: Nazeem, you don't know Me and the wife did get divorced about a year and a half ago.
- 43:50Nazim Beltran: Oh, I'm sorry to hear that, yeah, that's already.
- 43:52Carmen Lezeth: Nazeem wasn't around.
- 43:53Rick Costa: No he wasn't.
- 43:55Tony D.: Oh, I agree not to go after each other's retirements or whatever.
- 43:58Carmen Lezeth: Oh man, I was just being funny, that's all I was being funny with you, Wait.
- 44:02Carmen Lezeth: So what happened this week?
- 44:04Carmen Lezeth: Tony, you said I'm out of time for a conference.
- 44:06Tony D.: I was going to tell you all.
- 44:07Tony D.: If you didn't see the video I did.
- 44:09Tony D.: I put one up on TikTok when I was walking around town showing everybody what it looks like around here.
- 44:12Tony D.: It's about 17 minutes, but the drive up us driving through the mountains is not for the week are you not telling us where did I miss, where you went?
- 44:19Rick Costa: yes, you did because it's very windy.
- 44:22Carmen Lezeth: You mean and narrow, it's really windy okay no, you said conference, but I mean where in the country, or I said in gatlinburg, tennessee, oh are you gonna see joy didn't know way yeah, twice she's on the other side of the state.
- 44:36Tony D.: there's a couple people in the state and they're not around here, and getting here, even where they're at, would take a couple of hours.
- 44:41Tony D.: Gotcha, because, honestly, I saw some of the healthiest deer I've ever seen in my life.
- 44:45Tony D.: These boys are huge.
- 44:45Tony D.: These boys are huge and healthy.
- 44:48Tony D.: You know you'll see deer on TV and they're kind of small compared to these jokers in these mountains.
- 44:52Tony D.: You know what?
- 44:52Tony D.: Puppet, let me go ahead and tell y to stop.
- 44:53Tony D.: I was like I mean, they literally just keep going.
- 44:55Tony D.: I said okay, and then there's about four more with them and they're walking slow like senior citizens in their own neighborhood and I'm actually walking around.
- 45:10Tony D.: Two nights ago I was going to grab something to eat but everything was closed.
- 45:12Tony D.: I said no, something's open.
- 45:16Cynthia Ruiz: I just saw the sign.
- 45:18Tony D.: Bears just come out of anywhere and just walk around looking at you, so there's all types of wildlife and animalisms around here.
- 45:23Tony D.: But this is a nice little beautiful city.
- 45:25Tony D.: Honestly, anybody who knows any Gatlinburg, tennessee I highly recommend checking it out for a weekend.
- 45:28Tony D.: Plenty of food, plenty of activities, a good family atmosphere.
- 45:32Tony D.: The kids will have something to do, the grown folks will have something to do, everybody's going to have something to eat and and it's cool it really is.
- 45:37Tony D.: Another city close by is Pigeon Forge.
- 45:38Tony D.: A couple people went over there, but I didn't, because I'm actually up here for a conference for the job for the week we're going back tomorrow.
- 45:43Tony D.: Driving up here was, but I said I would never drive through the mountains again.
- 45:47Tony D.: I did it in 2010 and it was a little too much for me.
- 45:49Tony D.: This one was actually tighter turns.
- 45:51Tony D.: I had to drive 30 minutes uphill down here.
- 45:57Tony D.: I literally had to just put the car in neutral and keep my foot on the brake as I'm hitting curves and they are tight.
- 46:01Tony D.: I've actually done this in an Escalade before and it terrified me because it's a two-lane road.
- 46:05Tony D.: You're making a curve and there's an 18-wheeler coming the opposite way.
- 46:08Tony D.: This time I'm going to stay up there and the equinox is tight.
- 46:12Tony D.: One lady got so tired of me being behind her.
- 46:15Tony D.: I'm not even speeding, it's just because we're going down here and you hit your part and I'm hitting mine, and then it's dark, there's nothing on the other side, nobody's going to hear you.
- 46:22Tony D.: Oh, that is the best part.
- 46:23Tony D.: I saved this just for your show.
- 46:24Tony D.: I really did.
- 46:24Tony D.: You know, when you're driving and you lose your signal on your phone, it'll say 5G, 5g plus LTE 5G and just go to 3G Mine dropped down to SOS.
- 46:38Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, you can only call 911, right that?
- 46:40Tony D.: wasn't the worst part.
- 46:40Tony D.: I've seen that before.
- 46:41Tony D.: What really got me was when the SOS left it all just so was a satellite insignia where my antenna was supposed to be.
- 46:45Tony D.: I've never seen that.
- 46:47Tony D.: I got to call an alien for help, and then it said SOL.
- 46:53Tony D.: There was a signal, I mean a little symbol of a damn satellite antenna.
- 46:57Tony D.: There was no signal whatsoever.
- 46:58Tony D.: This was up in the mountains and people just pulled off sightseeing, looking over the cliffs.
- 47:01Tony D.: I would have stopped, but I'm like, no, I need to get the hell off this road.
- 47:05Tony D.: Get into my room, I need to go sit down, I need to recover.
- 47:07Carmen Lezeth: It was because you weren't comfortable.
- 47:08Carmen Lezeth: I went to school in Vermont, so I totally get it.
- 47:17Tony D.: I'm going to call it a real deer.
- 47:17Tony D.: You know what I mean.
- 47:18Tony D.: In Vermont, like I know, people have died.
- 47:23Carmen Lezeth: They hit a deer in Vermont, like a real deer, and they died, you know.
- 47:27Rick Costa: The person or the deer, or both the people, probably.
- 47:29Rick Costa: Well the deer died.
- 47:31Carmen Lezeth: But I mean it crushes your car because they're so big.
- 47:34Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 47:35Nazim Beltran: Oh yeah, if they're running through.
- 47:37Nazim Beltran: And I have a friend his car got hit by a deer in the countryside.
- 47:40Nazim Beltran: And it damaged the whole car because they just like they don't care.
- 47:43Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, and you can't see them at night in those areas that Tony's talking about because there's no, there's not like lights everywhere and everything you know Trees, trees.
- 47:51Tony D.: You can't even see the moon like this.
- 47:54Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, thank you for visiting and stopping by.
- 47:57Carmen Lezeth: I want to say thank you to Nazeem.
- 48:02Rick Costa: It was great to see you.
- 48:02Rick Costa: We'll set up a different time and do all of the Joy International.
- 48:05Nazim Beltran: I love this.
- 48:06Nazim Beltran: I would appreciate that.
- 48:07Carmen Lezeth: Tony, thank you always for stopping by, and I know I mess with you, but it's because I love you, you know what I mean.
- 48:11Cynthia Ruiz: Thank you for having me.
- 48:11Cynthia Ruiz: Thank you for having me.
- 48:12Carmen Lezeth: Cynthia, we'll see you in three weeks.
- 48:16Nazim Beltran: See you in three weeks.
- 48:18Carmen Lezeth: Nice to meet you, Cynthia.
- 48:19Carmen Lezeth: Oh no, we might see her next week, but Cynthia will be in another country.
- 48:22Carmen Lezeth: That's all we're going to say for now.
- 48:24Carmen Lezeth: And Rick, as always, I adore you.
- 48:25Carmen Lezeth: Thank you so much, and to everyone else, thank you so much.
- 48:28Carmen Lezeth: Have a wonderful week.
- 48:29Carmen Lezeth: We'll see you next week.
- 48:30Carmen Lezeth: Remember, it's all about the joy.
- 48:32Carmen Lezeth: Click the like, click the like.
- 48:34Carmen Lezeth: Thanks for stopping by.
- 48:44Carmen Lezeth: All about the joy.
- 48:45Carmen Lezeth: Be better and stay beautiful folks.
- 48:49Carmen Lezeth: Have a sweet day.
