Winn Back on IL After Thumb Struggle | St. Louis Cardinals News
Masyn Winn’s return to the Cardinals’ lineup was short-lived — just one game, zero for four, and then soreness returned. Scratched Wednesday, he’ll likely rejoin the field Friday against the White Sox, pending bat grip clearance. The shortstop, who’s been a standout this season with 5 homers, 51 RBIs, and elite defense (8th in MLB OAA at SS), suffered the thumb fracture sliding into second back on August 18. Manager Marmol expects post-game soreness, but the team remains optimistic about his swift recovery. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn…
