- 0:00You like to keep a clean kitchen, don't you. That's kind of a
- 0:02spot in my house that I take a lot of pride in, kind of
- 0:05like this centerpiece of our home that it's never, in my opinion, never
- 0:09dirty. I feel like I wipe it down like crazy. Well turns out
- 0:13that there still can be some harmful bacteria in your kitchen even if you keep
- 0:16it clean. So these are the spots you want to look out for.
- 0:18Okay, this is where the five dirtiest places in your kitchen off. Okay,
- 0:22Number one the refrigerator, meat and vegetable compartments. Man, those things
- 0:27do get nasty, and I know you're going to sit here and go nah.
- 0:30No. I do tend to wipe out my refrigerator, and every time
- 0:33I put meat in the fridge, I always have it on a plate so
- 0:36it doesn't leak down, because that's always so disgusting, because no matter how
- 0:39hard you try to like clean that, you feel like it like seeps down
- 0:44into whatever area that you're never going to get to. We had just recently
- 0:48a bag of chicken frozen that thawed out in the fridge, and yeah,
- 0:51got a week and lift he's that chicken juice top five grossest things. So
- 0:55now we got a big bowl we put it in. Yeah, then the
- 0:58drawer of course, like pecially onions, I always try to keep him in
- 1:00a bag, but if they end up going out, I always grab like
- 1:03a little vacuum and get in there because it's so hard to wipe out onions
- 1:07vacuum. Yeah. Man, for so long had every rent til I lived
- 1:10in you, you would clean out the fridge when you moved down. That
- 1:12was it. I'm not picking up the vacuum pike and like putting it in
- 1:15there. I've got a little handheld one. Oh do you Yeah, I
- 1:19just want to do clarify that because the look on your face was wild.
- 1:22Yeah, I thought you had a shot that pulled up into the kitchen really
- 1:26going to suck down, said the guys. You were drinking coffee, all
- 1:34right, I successfully choked a man perfect. Oh god, My second grossest
- 1:38part of your kitchen is the kitchen sink. Oh see, if we called
- 1:44my husband right now, he makes fun of me because I go through a
- 1:47thing of paper towels way too often, like at least two to three.
- 1:52Because I wipe out the kit every single time. It's there's never water in
- 1:55it. You know what I mean, I take it, wipe it down
- 1:57all of the time. I mean weird about the sink. Don't you have
- 2:01one of those little handheld scrubby brushes that the dish soap goes in the handle
- 2:06of. I do not, Okay, so get one of those and then
- 2:07you I just use that to wash the sink out. I know, but
- 2:09then I'd still have to wipe out the water, like I don't have the
- 2:13water market. You know what I mean. I know, I'm crazy.
- 2:15If water it can go anywhere, it's in the sink, but then it
- 2:17leaves a little marks on the stainless. Oh it drives me crazy. I'm
- 2:22so glad I don't live with you, do you? Breaker? Next grosses
- 2:25nearby the sponges, rags and cleaning brushes. We don't use them. Like
- 2:30if I have a rag out, are you all paper towels? Paper towels?
- 2:32Or if we have a rag, I wash it right away? She
- 2:35Sai'd hate to be a tree the manda going through paper towels like she does.
- 2:40Don't get me started on the toilet paper use o god. And then
- 2:45the spice jars and containers is the fourth grossest thing in your kitchen. Gosh,
- 2:49yeah, how often we have a and this isn't a spice, but
- 2:52we have a like a snack jar on our counter And the other day I
- 2:55kind of looked at it and like, because it had gotten completely down.
- 2:59Yeah, when's the last time I actually went in there and wiped it out?
- 3:02Even though it just has like granola bars and stuff in there, any
- 3:06container, because that's what you're you're just grabbing it. Yes, I was
- 3:08thinking the other day I was looking in our shower and the bottles that sit
- 3:12in your shower, they really look gross after a while, they almost look
- 3:15rusty. I'm also a weird though, who like, well, I'm taking
- 3:17a shower, I rinse off the bottles. I know, I'm sick.
- 3:22I am psycho a. That's crazy, it's weird. I can't imagine what
- 3:24you're doing with door knobs, because that's one thing I don't actually wipe off.
- 3:30Your kids. Leave us mudge, because here it is on our list
- 3:31of the grossest parts of your kitchen door handles and knobs. I think it's
- 3:35just your hands. Your hands are touched. The only time I ever notice
- 3:38it, we have we have white cabinets, so that makes it really nice,
- 3:43so I can see all the icky, gooey stuff to wipe off.
- 3:46I always think, because the place we lived before was pretty much all that
- 3:49dark brown. And if you don't know what's on there, when are you
- 3:52ever going to clean that? If you don't know? Yeah, well that's
- 3:53the beautiful part about it. I mean, I guess so. But we
- 3:57have like the knobs unless there's something sticky or you can see it, yeah,
- 4:00I'm not wiping it off? All right? So what have we learned
- 4:03here? Amanda's nuts? Pretty much? Do you where were you at on
- 4:06all that? I have all those things. If that's where you're willing,
- 4:11that is so good. I'm so glad you have all of those things.
- 4:15In the morning, Big ninety eight point seven, I don't know if you
- 4:16saw the big news, but for the third time in a row, we
- 4:19had a state champion at the northa got to spelling bee right here from Fargo,
- 4:24right, Yes, So she goes to Ben Franklin Middle School. She's
- 4:28an eighth grader named Luna Gasovic, and yeah, she's headed to the Script's
- 4:32National spelling Beer just a monster. I thought that great. So we thought,
- 4:36how fun would it be to have our own little spelling Bee Pike and
- 4:39Amanda in the morning style. Yeah, because it's fun. Because you said,
- 4:43well, by default, you just can't even partake well, just with
- 4:46my storied history and spelling words correctly, it just wouldn't be fair. So
- 4:50Amanda is going to be taken on a ten year old. We got volunteers
- 4:55all morning long on our Big ninety two point seven Facebook page and we have
- 4:58selected one and I believe her mom is on the phone right now. Good
- 5:01morning. Is this Maddie? This is Maddie. Good morning, Hey Maddie,
- 5:04thank you for volunteering your daughter to be part of our spelling be here
- 5:10on Big ninety two point seven. Now, how old's your daughter? You're
- 5:13ten? She is ten? Well? Hello, what is your name?
- 5:16Looks? I love this name looks. That's a great lux right, yeah,
- 5:21short and sweet? All right, lucks are you a good speller?
- 5:24Yeah? Yeah, right? And where do you go to school? Sport
- 5:28Ransom, North Dakota Elementary School? Which school Sport Ransom, Oh Dakota.
- 5:33There's a total of thirteen kids? What yeah, my goodness, nice rat
- 5:39show there. How many teachers? Is it one to one? Three teachers?
- 5:44That's great? All right, looks. So here's what we're going to
- 5:46have you do. We're going to give you a spelling word, and then
- 5:47we'll give Amanda a spelling word. We're going to do three each. Whoever
- 5:51gets the most is going to be our spelling Bee champion. Okay, okay,
- 5:55And just so you know the competition you're facing today, Amanda is how
- 5:59old? I am thirty eight years old, a graduate of Wadina Deer Creek
- 6:02High School, and I do have a bachelor's degree from Metropolitan State College in
- 6:08Denver. Nope, solid, Okay, Lucks, We're gonna have you go
- 6:12first, all right, first word in the big ninety eight point seven Pike
- 6:15and Amanda in the morning spelling b for ten year old Lucks. Your word
- 6:20is enough enough and oh h enough. That is crass. Nice, nice,
- 6:32joh. I love that she knows the rules too, because you say
- 6:36the word, spell the word, say the word. Yeah, you're pro
- 6:40all right, Amanda, your first word amphibian, amphibian, amphibian a M
- 6:51B p h I b E A n amphibian. I'm sorry that is that
- 7:01is incorrect. That would be a M P h I B I A n
- 7:08oh man. I forgot the I Loucks. You're off to a one to
- 7:11zero start. And now your word LUs is calf as in a baby cow
- 7:18calf a. That is correct? Wow, oh my gosh, I'll get
- 7:30a little nervous here. Very impressive. So if I do not get this
- 7:32next word right, I lose. That is correct? Looks it all could
- 7:36end right here for you, Amanda. Word number two, vacuum vacuum.
- 7:45Your word is vacuum v A c c U M vacuum. That is incorrect?
- 7:51What that is incorrect? Looks? My goodness? How do you spell
- 7:57vacuum? Lux? Would you like to steal the word vacuum? Just a
- 8:01really rub it in? LUs? Who's ten years old? Fort Ransom attendee?
- 8:05How do you spell vacuum? M? It's close, not quite though,
- 8:15it's a very tough for it. It's vac you you am I knew
- 8:20there was a double letter in there, LUs. An incredible performance. You
- 8:24just won the big ninety eight point seven Pike and Amanda in the Morning Spelling
- 8:28Bee. Nice stop? Will that hurt? What do you have to say
- 8:31for yourself? You feel pretty good? How would you rate Amanda's spelling performance?
- 8:39Okay, that's that's solid four that's just purely for effort. All right,
- 8:46Hey, Lux, I know you got to get to school, So
- 8:48enjoy school and tell everybody in class, all thirteen of them in the whole
- 8:52school. You might as well tell the town that you just beat Amanda out
- 8:56of spelling Bee trending. Well, here's what you need to know. Well,
- 9:01the conspiracy theorists are still just saying that Kate Middleton is actually not the
- 9:07real Kate Middleton with that video surface yesterday, For me, she just looks
- 9:11a little more thin. But now people are just taking this to the Extremesbody,
- 9:16would you say that she looked kinda like Kate Middleton, because I think
- 9:20that's the point. I can't with all of this. It's getting so bad.
- 9:26Somebody at the hospital where she was treated earlier this year for some sort
- 9:30of abdominal surgery was sneaking at her medical records. They ended up getting caught.
- 9:35So now there's this internal investigation that's been launched at the London Clinic.
- 9:39And I know everybody's kind of having lighthearted fun with it to some degree,
- 9:43but in my mind, I'm also as a woman, You're going, what
- 9:46if she had a hysterectomy, What if she had a miscarriage, what if
- 9:48she I mean, there's so many things that could have happened, and she
- 9:52has every right to have a private life. She said she was going to
- 9:54be back in the public eye after Easter and let's just kind of let it
- 9:58be. But it's not Easter yet, to be fair. But yeah,
- 10:01you're right, somebody being nosy though, that's a clear hippo violation. A
- 10:05hippo you mean hippa great hip hop hippopotamus. And you remember the poke button
- 10:15on Facebook? Did you ever have fun with that back in the day.
- 10:18No. I had been poked a couple of times. The worst was when
- 10:22you would remove the poke when somebody poked you, and then they'd poke you
- 10:24again. It's like, I didn't poke you back, so stop poking me.
- 10:28How many people got together because of a poke and then they returned the
- 10:31poke and then it was like, oh, oh, it's all my gosh.
- 10:33I would love to know. Like poking was like a like an insta
- 10:37dating app back in the day. I know, it was very subtle,
- 10:39Like if you were a little shy and you don't want to just go straight
- 10:43to the DMS, you know, you just send a poke out there because
- 10:46it could mean a few to days. And remember there was a point where
- 10:48there weren't dms. Remember that you have to write on people's Facebook walls.
- 10:52I'll see stuff on my Facebook from girlfriends that will like, hey girl,
- 10:56salmon date today. Did like having like there are full details out there for
- 11:01the world to see, and then we'd be commenting back and forth, right
- 11:05back and for oh my god, oh so ridiculous. But gen Z is
- 11:07now enjoying this feature because Facebook is saying users eighteen to twenty nine are getting
- 11:13the poke back. It's back baby, better than ever. I don't.
- 11:16I don't have it, and I'm happy with that. I also think there
- 11:18should be a future if you're married or in a relationship, they deactivate the
- 11:22poke button. I think that's the people that are using it the most.
- 11:26I don't like it. Yeah, it is not at all. I feel
- 11:28a little violated when you get poked. And remember Quarterbacks on Netflix, we
- 11:35were kind of bummed out because they had said, yeah, after the first
- 11:37season, we aren't gonna be able to come back with quarterbacks because nobody wanted
- 11:41to be miked up and they didn't want to share their journey, so they
- 11:43ended up actually under our noses, we didn't know it found receivers to partake
- 11:48in this. So now they have a new receiver show from last season.
- 11:52No, it's called Receivers. Yeah. Nice creative, I know. But
- 11:56it's gonna have some players like DeVante Adams, oh both a legend, Deepo
- 12:01saying a meal of course from the forty nine ers, Justin Jefferson hate him
- 12:05from the Vikings, and George Kittle. I think I think this one's gonna
- 12:11be great. All of those guys very likable. I always think it's cool
- 12:15to just see, Yes, we know what happens on the field, but
- 12:18even then, just how hard I remember watching Kirk Cousins. I mean you
- 12:22just see him getting a blow after blow after blow, and they like,
- 12:26how are you surviving this? Dude? Well, I mean it's a contact
- 12:30sport, and having played it, I know all too well how violent it
- 12:33was. You mean like getting the gatorade. Hey I practiced, Oh yeah,
- 12:39okay, I was on the scout team. The what you know,
- 12:43like the starters they have to play against somebody in practice, so they throw
- 12:46us idiots out there. You really took a beating on the scout team.
- 12:50Oh gosh, all right, we don't know when that's actually gonna start airing,
- 12:54but should be pretty good. All right, weather today gonna be sunny
- 12:56HYA twenty six. Enjoy that we are gonna get some snow Thursday into Friday,
- 13:01looking like maybe an inch or two in the FM area, and then
- 13:03a little bit of a break and some more snow tb D Sunday Monday.
- 13:09I get a minute in the morning, say ninety seven, you know how
- 13:13to keep the spark alive with your with your lover. I mean, I'll
- 13:16say, I don't know if I do. You know you're speaking of those
- 13:18kids. You know they can probably get in the way of the spark,
- 13:22right, I mean, it's just human nature. People like to pretend that,
- 13:24oh whereas love. I mean, come on, it's just it's human
- 13:26nature. It's in our DNA absolutely. But a relationship coach is revealed to
- 13:31me personally, ways to realistically keep the spark alive, and I'd like to
- 13:35relay those deeps. I like that you started with realistic because so many people
- 13:39say, oh, go on a date once a week, go away for
- 13:41this, do all this. It's like that sounds awesome, but my bank
- 13:43account can't afford a babysitter and then dinner and all of that all the time.
- 13:48You're right, But you know what you could afford to do? They
- 13:50say, spend time alone. Now, this one seems like it's gonna be
- 13:54weird. Might surprise you because you're trying to keep the spark alive with your
- 13:56partner. But no, they say, getting a hobby or an activity that
- 14:01gets you out of the house, something you truly enjoy. It really gonna
- 14:05bring you closer together. It makes you more fulfilled, and than in doing
- 14:09so, you're able to be a better partner. Oh my gosh. That
- 14:11must be why in the summer months like golf season are where relationship is thriving
- 14:16because my husband's gone all the time. Nice, I'm just kidding. No,
- 14:20I mean, any anytime you can jab golf, you sure take it.
- 14:24You know, that's just what we do. Got his right around the
- 14:26corner. It is I can't Well, did you say yesterday is well?
- 14:30I know we're supposed to get a little bit of snow, but isn't is
- 14:33more head opening? I mean that's supposed to be top secret, I think,
- 14:35But yeah, I mean anytime now. Obviously that was with last week's
- 14:39weather and now we got this like just suddenly garbage week of snow coming cold
- 14:43temps. So probably not this week, but maybe next. Another way to
- 14:46keep the sparkle eye focus on the small things. That's what Blinkwin eighty two
- 14:50said, all about the small things. Yeah. I can see that grand
- 14:56sweeping, romantic gestures might fuel the fire, of course, but keep the
- 15:00spark burning, you got to pay attention to the little things. Okay,
- 15:03So what's a little thing Nick does for you? If I come home and
- 15:05Nick had kind of made the bed or even attempted to make the bed,
- 15:09I'm like, wow, you you did that for me, because as soon
- 15:11as I walk in the door, I take my shoes off, put my
- 15:15comfies on, and I make the bed. So if I walk in and
- 15:16that bed is made, I know he was thinking, honey, beat you
- 15:20to it, and it just said that little tiny thing that would be nice.
- 15:24I'll come home sometime and the bed is made, and it's kind of
- 15:26weird, like did you have an accident or something? Why today? You
- 15:30know what? You cover it up in there? Oh that's funny. Uh.
- 15:33And the final way to keep the spark alive put oh I can't somebody
- 15:45what's going on here? Unsee Lauren having an accident? Well she does,
- 15:50she does from time to Guys, put your phone down and talk to each
- 15:54other. Yes, I know, you sit there on the couch and it's
- 15:56just like hours, no reason, Like you're just sitting here scrolling going through.
- 16:03My husband will just he'll give me the look and I know, put
- 16:06it down, vice versa. He's such a put it down guy. He
- 16:08is. He's such a The thing is is he doesn't realize how much he
- 16:11has his in his hand and he's going, no, he doesn't. He
- 16:17doesn't realize it. He's always texting with his bros and their bro chat.
- 16:19He's watching cooking videos like ridiculous things. He's scrolling through Twitter like it's his
- 16:25day job sometimes. But it's different when I'm doing it, mainly because well
- 16:30it feels like I'm always on it, right, because you don't see yourself
- 16:33from other people's perspective totally. I'll catch myself doing that all the time,
- 16:36where I'll be on my phone for who knows how long, and as soon
- 16:38as I look up and I decide, all right, I'm gonna put it
- 16:41down, then I see my wife on her phone. I go Hey,
- 16:42well, geez, we're here having dinner. What the heck? Yeah,
- 16:45oh wait, I just was on my phone for who knows how, really
- 16:48doing my best to have like a stretch of time. Yeah, like especially
- 16:52from dinner till you know, like maybe right before bed. I know you're
- 16:55not supposed to do a little scrolling to kind of catch up, but having
- 16:57that time, even with the kids, just putting it down, letting it
- 17:00go for a little bit. They do say before bet, it's good to
- 17:03scroll a little bit. The blue light helps you fossleate alway? Is that
- 17:07what i' say? Amanda in the morning? And now Amanda Stills the seat
- 17:11loop Seed brought to you by Valley Service Mechanical. Well, it sounds like
- 17:15Amazon Prime Video just wants their own little game show network. After talking about
- 17:18Mister Beast's Game show that's going to be like a five million dollar prize yesterday,
- 17:23now we're finding out they're bringing back Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?
- 17:26Celebrity version and they want Travis Kelsey to host it. He's in discussions
- 17:32with them. I don't know. It just feels like it's too much.
- 17:36There's no reason he needs to do us at Travis too much. Trav.
- 17:38Yeah, oh you just not long ago where saying you couldn't get him and
- 17:41get enough of him. Well, I do know this. Taylor and Travis
- 17:45are enjoying their downtime right now. They're in the Bahamas. I mean,
- 17:48if they are hot and heavy and they are planning a future together, just
- 17:52kind of enjoy this moment. You know. I do understand where he's coming
- 17:56from. He's already talked about wanting to retire here in a couple years.
- 18:00If you're not with Taylor Swift, you're gonna want to have your own money
- 18:03and you have to look at your future. So I totally get that.
- 18:07Yeah, being more marketable, like for TV stuff, if he wants to
- 18:10get into NFL broadcasting our podcast, does that? I know, don't you
- 18:14think? I think what he could just have a problem with doing is saying
- 18:17no. You know what I mean? Some people have this where like you
- 18:18can say it in your head a million times, like I'm not gonna say
- 18:21yes to these things because it's I have too much already. But then the
- 18:25second to go, hey Trev, you know you'd be really good at this,
- 18:27We really want you, then it's like, well maybe we also forget
- 18:33he only makes like twelve million dollars a year in the NFL. It's pathetic
- 18:36compared to what everybody else is. And can he not up that contract?
- 18:40Is that how that works? Like he's signed the deal. He can't just
- 18:42go hey, Andy, go read well, you can't revamp that at all.
- 18:47I didn't know we were going to discuss NFL contracts. Curious you could,
- 18:51you could hold out, but he's a thirty five year old tight end.
- 18:53He's already at the top of the market for that position. So no,
- 18:57you're not gonna Do you think they're secret league giving like just the chiefs
- 19:00in general? With the amount of money that they've made off of his relationship
- 19:04with Taylor Swift, do you think there's some like side money going on.
- 19:07No, you don't think so. I always wonder now, like thank you
- 19:11for putting us on the map, Like in general, he's worth more money
- 19:15now just already from dating her because they'll get endorsements and things like that.
- 19:18But not, I don't think they're paying them on the side. Just question.
- 19:23Speaking of Taylor Swift, I've got a feeling she's going to be Beyonce's
- 19:27new album. It's called Cowboy Carter. Yesterday, Beyonce said she has a
- 19:32few surprises and collaborations with artists she deeply respects. We know that those two
- 19:36have a great relationship. It's going to be released on March twenty ninth.
- 19:40It does feel like that would be a lot for Taylor because she's gonna be
- 19:44releasing her album on April nineteenth. But at the same time, I also
- 19:48think in a way, she was in the studio she worked on this album
- 19:52secretly we didn't know about, so her and Beyonce could have had a collaboration
- 19:56at some point. Uh. I'm just gonna put the pooh pooh on that
- 19:59because I looked it up and Forbes magazine released a report not too long ago
- 20:03Manda that Taylor Swift has not featured on Beyonce's new record in any way.
- 20:07Oh cool, cool idea though, an anybody else anybody that they're speculating that
- 20:15they just said, one thing is for sure, Taylor will not be on
- 20:19it. You want to do the next story, mister Hollywood, Well,
- 20:25you tell a story and then I'll tell you why it's incorrect. All right?
- 20:27Are you on a Grande? And Galton Dalton Gomez? So they had
- 20:32a prenup, they didn't have kids, but she is still writing him a
- 20:34check for one point twenty five million dollars for their divorce settlement. I gotta
- 20:41feel guilty or something, right, or I guess that could have been just
- 20:44a part of the prenup. However, many years we're together, you attack
- 20:47on however many million. Yeah, my mom was telling me the other day,
- 20:51she just volunteered this information twenty five years later about her divorce. She
- 20:56said, I didn't ask for anything. I'm like, oh, that's that's
- 20:57mighty nice. Yeah, yeah, so anyway you could do that? Yeah,
- 21:03I think I think Dalton was ready to cash. And he's also getting
- 21:06half the proceeds of the sale of their home, and then also she's covering
- 21:10twenty five thousand dollars of the attorneys. You think my mom should have asked
- 21:12for more? Yeah, I remember, I don't think there was much,
- 21:15you know what I mean? It wasn't it? Well, who's this?
- 21:18Are you in a grande situation? What? Yeah? I mean child support?
- 21:25Just how much it's changed. I remember my parents when they went through
- 21:29their divorce, it was like four hundred and fifty dollars like a month.
- 21:32That was it that he had to pay child support. Really m hmm,
- 21:34well for the diapers, just fit on yourself. Okay, We're like it
- 21:44a minute in the morning on Big Nutty eight point seven. This guy speaking
- 21:48of fast cars. This is a little bit of a PSA if you ever
- 21:53feel like you want to travel abroad. This guy visited Norway. He was
- 21:59there for less some three weeks, and in that amount of time he managed
- 22:03to rack up twenty five speeding tickets. And now he couldn't figure it out,
- 22:07and now he's going to jail. Now you kind of gotta feel bad
- 22:11for him because in Norway, and I've heard of this happening. I don't
- 22:15know if it's in the United States or not, but they have basically speed
- 22:18sensors on the roads where if you're driving, you know, much like if
- 22:22you have like a red light that if you if you if you go to
- 22:26a red light, they'll just send you the ticket. So the speed sensors
- 22:29like four instants. In our neighborhood, there's one like by the school that'll
- 22:32say thirty if you're going thirty six, it'll start flashing. Would that be
- 22:36like the censor automatically give you a ticket and you get a ticket. Correct,
- 22:40So he had no idea. So he's just speeding around Norway thinking he's
- 22:44having a good old time. Well, and if they aren't even a little
- 22:47lemean you know what I mean, like if you're going over, because think
- 22:48about how often you are, how often you're speeding going over? Because what
- 22:53is it? Two or three is like the legal that you maybe can well,
- 22:59I mean I don't know legally you're allowed to do any but I mean,
- 23:00realistically, are you going to get pulled over for going five over?
- 23:03Probably not, But I guess if you have a censor situation, nobly Okay,
- 23:07yeah, you think there'd be a little buffer. But now he's going
- 23:11to jail. And they really weren't that lenient. They did shave off his
- 23:14twenty four day sentence to twenty one days, so now it's vacation's been extended.
- 23:18Yeah, no kidding. I remember when I first moved here from Colorado
- 23:23and I used to take twenty fifth Street Town and the first couple of weeks,
- 23:27I don't know why I could not figure it out, but I would.
- 23:30I got two speeding tickets in a week just coming down, and I'm
- 23:33like, oh, they're only ten bucks. They're only ten bucks, but
- 23:37still taking points off your insurance. That's the biggest thing. Everyone's like,
- 23:40Oh, you're going to speed all over North Dakota. Well, then what
- 23:42it does to your insurance? It's ridiculu at one point, because you know,
- 23:45I was like a young twenty some year old male. My insurance was
- 23:48insane. I mean I was spending probably like two hundred and fifty dollars a
- 23:51month on insurance for a garbage car. Right, Oh, it's just insane.
- 23:55Because so now I really try not to. But when I first got
- 23:56my license, I was trying to. I had this idea that you couldn't
- 24:00get a speeding ticket if the cop was on like the other side of the
- 24:03highway. I lived out in Glyndon, so highway to you know, it's
- 24:07yeah. So I remember being in the car with my older brother who'd been
- 24:11driving for some time, and I'm going eighty five and a sixty five,
- 24:14just thinking because in my rear view mirror, I don't see any cops behind
- 24:18me, so I'm just free to speed and he's going out they'll whip around.
- 24:22So my brother goes, you're going kind of fast. I'm like,
- 24:23what do you mean there's no cop behind me and just perfect on cue timing.
- 24:29A cop from the other side of Highway ten whips around, pulls me
- 24:32over. He's going going eighty five miles per hour. What are you doing?
- 24:34Yeah, what are you doing? Speaking of Highway ten, I've got
- 24:37I've got dinged a couple of times there on the way into the lakes.
- 24:41Okay, we're talking about speeding tickets you Oh yeah, Stop. It was
- 24:44when I had that white jeep, it was just a target, just a
- 24:48target. Now that I've got the the mom squad had been pretty same with
- 24:52the Nissan Ultimate there like, oh, he's he's got enough going on.
- 24:56Let's just leap it. Long bike it a Manuda in the morning, come
- 24:59get up on Big seven. I want to get your thoughts on this wealthy
- 25:03man's situation. Now, normally we don't really feel bad for wealthy men,
- 25:08but he is writing because he has a wife. They have a child.
- 25:12She's pregnant with the second child. Now they both work. This guy who
- 25:15makes a lot of money, says that one of the things that attracted him
- 25:19to his wife when they first got together was that she still was pursuing her
- 25:23career. She was still working and is today. However, the situation is
- 25:29she wants to become a stay at home mom, and at first he was
- 25:33like, well, I don't really want that. You know, we have
- 25:36child care, and you know I want to working parents even though we don't
- 25:41necessarily need it. I just still feel like that's important. Interesting, right,
- 25:45I got more interesting when she revealed why exactly she wants to be a
- 25:48stay at home mom. She doesn't just want to be a stay at home
- 25:52mom. She wants to be a stay at home Instagram mom. That's her
- 25:56dream. What exactly is an Instagram mom? Man, you're sort of one
- 26:00in a way, although you are working. She wants to be able to
- 26:03just essentially post all about her motherhood and raising the child and do cute photos
- 26:08and make money doing so. So is that even feasible? Well, really,
- 26:14you would have to have they say, about ten thousand followers. You're
- 26:18going to be able to get up to one hundred dollars per post to promote
- 26:21whatever product, if you can get some diaper company or whatever to partner with
- 26:25you. So that's her plan. I mean it always sounds great, I
- 26:29think for people because it's like, oh, it's not maybe that big of
- 26:32a deal. I can work from home, but it's still a job,
- 26:36you know what I mean, like if your husband wants you to go into
- 26:37the office and do And I also think that might be good for mental health
- 26:41for her if she had a different reasoning where it's like, you know what,
- 26:45my kids are babies and I want to be there to soak in all
- 26:47those moments. If that was her argument, I would be one hundred percent
- 26:51on board. The fact that it feels like that maybe isn't necessarily it well,
- 26:56it would be one thing if she had, let's say, you know,
- 26:59just on her own, she'd been hosting and she'd accumulated fifty thousand followers,
- 27:03then I'd be like, yeah, you know what, it seems like
- 27:04you got a good thing going here, you created something, or you've already
- 27:07proven that, hey I'm able to do this before. Yeah, you just
- 27:11jump it. But you know it's like, honey, you have you know,
- 27:14one hundred and fourteen followers and they're all from your high school, you
- 27:18know, Grandma and Graham. But can only like so many posts? Oh
- 27:22gosh, I mean, I I see where he's coming from. It would
- 27:25be a hard transition when you're like in love with somebody you're like, hey,
- 27:27I want you to I want you to keep working and do that,
- 27:30and you probably know that's what's best for them too, But I feel like
- 27:34she just needs a different argument. If she doesn't want to be working,
- 27:37does that make sense you should. I feel like she had a better case
- 27:40when she just wanted to be a stay at home mom. Yeah, throw
- 27:42it in the Instagram mot automatically for most guys, is like insert eye roll
- 27:48here. Yes,
