• 10:31
  SPEAKER_02: So see Tuck, man.
• 10:32
SPEAKER_02: What you what you what you been seeing?
• 10:34
SPEAKER_02: What you what what you uh yeah, that email address is something else.
• 10:39
SPEAKER_02: Uh what uh what you see, what you've been seeing in the news, man.
• 10:42
SPEAKER_02: What you did, you get any updates on that on the shady gas?
• 10:46
SPEAKER_05: I mean, it was just just clear cut like that.
• 10:49
SPEAKER_05: They did the investigation and they said they found traces of water in the gas.
• 10:53
SPEAKER_05: And you know, water in your gas, that mess that can potentially mess.
• 10:57
SPEAKER_05: It ain't potentially, it's it can mess up your engine.
• 11:01
SPEAKER_05: She texted it, ain't no potentially.
• 11:03
  SPEAKER_05: Yeah, so that's thou.
• 11:04
SPEAKER_05: So they gonna they definitely gonna have to ask about it, though.
• 11:07
SPEAKER_05: Okay, there's definitely something in the works where they're gonna have to ask about it.
• 11:11
SPEAKER_02: But do you know what what gas company that was or go with gas station?
• 11:15
SPEAKER_05: Uh the Sunoco on 222nd.
• 11:18
  SPEAKER_05: Damn, yeah.
• 11:22
  SPEAKER_02: Wow.
• 11:24
SPEAKER_02: I never trusted that Sunoco either.
• 11:27
SPEAKER_05: Like I ain't never really got gas from there, neither.
• 11:31
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I never, it's don't it just don't spray by the freeway, yeah.
• 11:35
SPEAKER_05: But the only way, the only reason I skipped past it though, if I got that far and needed gas, because the free the speedway right up underneath the bridge, and I just use my fuel perks and get the little money off.
• 11:47
  SPEAKER_02: Oh, okay.
• 11:51
  SPEAKER_05: For sure.
• 11:51
SPEAKER_05: So I wasn't even tripping about it.
• 11:53
SPEAKER_05: But that that's crazy work because that gas station be smacking.
• 11:57
  SPEAKER_05: Yeah, it do.
• 11:59
SPEAKER_05: That know about it, that's still just getting gas, like just fucking man.
• 12:04
SPEAKER_02: So y'all, just to just so y'all know, uh, they putting water, the gas price so high, these gas, these gas stations trying to trying to make a killing, like they are, like everybody else, all these other uh big companies.
• 12:18
SPEAKER_02: So be careful, could be water in your gas.
• 12:21
SPEAKER_05: And no, and then just recently, over the I think it was like the other day, the uh they had the funeral for the girls.
• 12:30
SPEAKER_05: They had the oh, did they?
• 12:32
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, they had the funeral for the girls, and then like I told, like I told you, like everybody was talking about the community.
• 12:38
SPEAKER_05: I'm like, one thing, you whatever people try to say about Cleveland, one thing about Cleveland, they're gonna come together for a good cause.
• 12:45
SPEAKER_05: A whole bunch of motorcycle clubs came out.
• 12:49
SPEAKER_05: The Jeep Club came out, a couple car clubs came out, and they they really sent them babies off right.
• 12:55
  SPEAKER_05: They gave them a proper send-off.
• 12:56
SPEAKER_02: Oh, that's good to hear, man.
• 13:00
SPEAKER_02: That's real good to hear.
• 13:02
SPEAKER_05: They had news coverage and there, it was beautiful.
• 13:05
SPEAKER_02: Nah, that's good to hear.
• 13:06
SPEAKER_02: If y'all didn't know, um that's tell them, give them a little breakdown for those who don't know uh the story about the girls.
• 13:14
SPEAKER_05: See, everybody knows about that, man.
• 13:16
SPEAKER_05: That was national news, man.
• 13:18
SPEAKER_05: Two little girls found found in the suitcases, bodies decomposed and mutilated, and then they mama being held accountable for it.
• 13:26
SPEAKER_02: And this took place in Cleveland, y'all.
• 13:28
  SPEAKER_05: Right in Cleveland.
• 13:30
  SPEAKER_02: Sad, sad story.
• 13:33
SPEAKER_02: So uh she already been uh is she out of jail yet, or or like she's still in jail.
• 13:39
SPEAKER_05: She's still still they they haven't they saying what they charging her with, but like the verdict hasn't come down yet.
• 13:47
  SPEAKER_02: Okay, okay, damn man.
• 13:53
  SPEAKER_02: The news been crazy.
• 13:55
SPEAKER_02: Uh, what else we got going on?
• 13:57
SPEAKER_02: You did you did you see all the controversy about the Drewski?
• 14:01
  SPEAKER_02: Man, he skit Drewski.
• 14:08
  SPEAKER_05: Wow, man.
• 14:08
  SPEAKER_02: Drewski, wow.
• 14:09
SPEAKER_02: Drewski got him going crazy, and it's crazy because it's a lot of people who love it.
• 14:14
SPEAKER_02: It's just a pocket of people who offend it.
• 14:17
SPEAKER_05: Man, they and they shoot, but and then Erica Kirk, she even popped back, and she was like, Yeah, she was like, That's crazy because if if it was me doing it, I would have been called a racist and got canceled.
• 14:30
  SPEAKER_05: Right, right, right, right.
• 14:32
SPEAKER_05: I'm like, yeah, she she she kind of got a point for real.
• 14:37
  SPEAKER_02: She got a point.
• 14:39
  SPEAKER_02: Uh uh, but it's crazy because but that's like I'm I'm I'm I'm a I'm a I'm gonna take it from this angle.
• 14:46
SPEAKER_02: Oh as far as the Erica Kirk.
• 14:49
SPEAKER_02: Now she had two options.
• 14:52
SPEAKER_02: Now this and this is what people to me, this is the people who extra preachy preachy churchy churchy.
• 15:01
  SPEAKER_02: Now, that wasn't a extra, that wasn't a churchy churchy answer.
• 15:06
SPEAKER_02: You know what I mean?
• 15:07
SPEAKER_02: Like you, you, you, that that's a yeah, you know, that don't go in line.
• 15:10
SPEAKER_02: So it's it's just like with people like that, it's always that's why I really like don't really like when people try to be extra, extra, because I feel like they somewhat even clout chase it on the church side, because I mean you just use it when it's convenient because she could have easily, she would have got a lot of points had she said, or she been like, oh, that was funny or whatever, or just just was above it, or just gave it some grace.
• 15:38
SPEAKER_02: You know what I mean?
• 15:39
SPEAKER_02: Because he didn't, it ain't like he like he didn't super like disrespect her or nothing or say nothing about her or even go too hard.
• 15:48
SPEAKER_02: Like he just kind of loosely said some stuff she said, but um she took it and made it right political.
• 15:57
SPEAKER_02: Like she poured gas on it.
• 15:58
  SPEAKER_02: That's all I'm saying.
• 15:59
  SPEAKER_02: Like it's two ways.
• 16:00
SPEAKER_02: She could have taken it where it might have just kind of killed it, or she she came with an answer that could get the people who don't like it even more enraged.
• 16:09
SPEAKER_02: And she took, she took, she she she chose to pour gas on it.
• 16:13
SPEAKER_02: So um, you know, it is what it is.
• 16:17
SPEAKER_02: Uh Juice the comedian, like I always say, one thing about it, comedians.
• 16:21
SPEAKER_05: Oh no, it can be funny, and they gotta, but the one thing about comedians, like whatever your food you're trying to be funny about, you got to stand on it, whatever with it.
• 16:30
SPEAKER_05: That's yeah, the only thing about it.
• 16:33
SPEAKER_05: Most you you got it's some comedians that'll just go out the way just to get a laugh, and they don't know no boundaries or no no limits to it, and and it can escalate to something different.
• 16:47
SPEAKER_05: So I mean, but like you know, joke, like you said, he a comedian, he does jokes.
• 16:52
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, it was it was it was funny.
• 16:55
SPEAKER_02: It's it's just jokes, and I do want to touch on because I I do hear people, and it and and and I think a lot of people need to hear this.
• 17:02
SPEAKER_02: Um the the the the the situation where she says, where she says, if I was to do blackface, I would get I would get canceled, this and that, it's true.
• 17:16
SPEAKER_02: But if we're being honest and we're all being adults, there's a reason for that.
• 17:23
SPEAKER_02: You know, the his history matters.
• 17:25
SPEAKER_02: Uh the what what what this country, what has gone on in this country matters.
• 17:30
SPEAKER_02: You know what I mean?
• 17:31
SPEAKER_02: So it's a reason why if if a white person does blackface, uh they get canceled because the history of blackface was was was was made to literally not, it wasn't just a joke, it was to it was to um uh uh degrade us even more than we were being degraded, and we, you know, we coming from slavery, we coming from segregation, we coming from all of that.
• 17:59
SPEAKER_02: So it's a little it's a bit disingenuous when somebody just says, oh, if I do it, because it's not the same.
• 18:07
SPEAKER_02: First of all, we minorities.
• 18:09
SPEAKER_02: Minorities are who have been oppressed and all that are gonna get the benefit of the doubt.
• 18:15
SPEAKER_02: You know, that's why we can make a movie about, say, white man can't jump or stuff like that, and it's no big outrage.
• 18:23
SPEAKER_02: It's like at the end of the day that the white, white, white people in general have been in a position of power since we've been over this country.
• 18:37
SPEAKER_02: And they've been the majority.
• 18:39
SPEAKER_02: That's just like anywhere you go, you're gonna cut the minorities who've been through some shit, some slack.
• 18:45
SPEAKER_02: I ain't saying, you know, people don't have a right to be offended, but I just think that when people just try to make it like it's apples to apples, it's just not, it's just, we just not being real.
• 18:55
SPEAKER_02: You know what I'm saying?
• 18:56
SPEAKER_02: Like it's a reason why if if it if if the if another person, if a white person does blackface, it's a big thing, or if a black a white person say the N-word, it's a big thing.
• 19:07
SPEAKER_02: But if a black person say the N-word, it's a reason for all that.
• 19:10
SPEAKER_02: Oh no, and and and you know, come up with this country, it just is what it is.
• 19:16
SPEAKER_02: And I'm only speaking on that because, you know, I think that I just hate when people make that point because it's like, let's just be honest.
• 19:24
SPEAKER_02: You know, let's let's let's look at the history of this and that.
• 19:26
SPEAKER_02: It's not just as simple as saying, oh, if I do it, then I'm gonna get canceled, so that's wrong.
• 19:31
SPEAKER_02: No, it's just that the his history matters and and it's well established what we can do and can't do, uh, see it as where black people and Latino and all the other other minorities have gone through in this country, and it's so horrific.
• 19:50
SPEAKER_02: I don't even want to go into detail.
• 19:52
SPEAKER_02: We all know, you know what I'm saying?
• 19:54
SPEAKER_02: I don't even want to talk about it in detail, but we all know.
• 19:58
SPEAKER_02: So if you if if if a certain uh group of people can't say or do blackface, I think that's a small price to pay compared to where what what happened and why it's such a big deal.
• 20:13
SPEAKER_02: So that's my take, you know what I mean?
• 20:17
SPEAKER_05: The only thing I the only problem I got about it is I'm tired of motherfuckers having to put on wigs and dresses just to try to be funny.
• 20:27
SPEAKER_05: I'm with you on that.
• 20:29
SPEAKER_05: I'm with you on that.
• 20:30
SPEAKER_05: I'm tired of that shit.
• 20:32
SPEAKER_05: I'm I'm with you on that, especially, especially black men.
• 20:35
SPEAKER_05: Why the fuck you gotta put on a wig and a dress or anything feminine or women related just to try to get it?
• 20:41
  SPEAKER_05: No, dog.
• 20:42
  SPEAKER_05: That's come on, man.
• 20:44
  SPEAKER_02: I'm 100% with you on that.
• 20:45
  SPEAKER_02: I don't I don't like I don't like it either.
• 20:48
SPEAKER_05: Being straightforward, putting on heels and shit like that.
• 20:51
  SPEAKER_05: No, bro.
• 20:52
SPEAKER_02: It's so much funny, it's so many funny things you can do.
• 20:56
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, just to try to be for now, no offense to anybody who lives that lifestyle.
• 21:02
SPEAKER_05: If that's the lifestyle you live, embrace the life that you live and do what you do.
• 21:06
SPEAKER_05: I'm talking about the actual people who on a day-to-day basis don't portray themselves in that image.
• 21:14
SPEAKER_05: Those are the ones that I'm referring to, just to clear it up.
• 21:18
SPEAKER_02: Right, right, right, right, right, right.
• 21:20
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, no, I'm I'm with you on that.
• 21:22
  SPEAKER_02: I don't like that.
• 21:23
SPEAKER_02: I don't like the dresses and all that either.
• 21:26
SPEAKER_02: Um, and like I said, now at the end of the day, everybody got a right to be offended.
• 21:32
SPEAKER_02: I mean, I ain't gonna take that away from nobody.
• 21:35
SPEAKER_02: Erica Kirk, she can feel offended.
• 21:36
SPEAKER_02: Like that's you know what I'm saying, just because it's comedy don't mean everybody gotta laugh.
• 21:41
SPEAKER_02: You know what I'm saying?
• 21:42
SPEAKER_02: So at the same time, I don't I don't get mad or or think she's wrong for being offended or whatever.
• 21:51
SPEAKER_02: I just said, you know, she had two options she could have gone with, her her reply to it, if she she would have won a lot of people over had she just laughed it off.
• 22:00
  SPEAKER_02: Just period.
• 22:01
SPEAKER_02: Because a lot of people have issues with her, just how she's been acting ever since her husband is out of here.
• 22:09
SPEAKER_02: Now I'm not a big Charlie Kirk.
• 22:11
  SPEAKER_02: Like, I don't follow that.
• 22:13
SPEAKER_02: So I can't speak too much on that whole story.
• 22:15
SPEAKER_05: I didn't follow Charlie Kirk like that.
• 22:19
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, that and a lot of people have been saying a lot of a lot of little backdoor behind the scenes type shit.
• 22:25
  SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
• 22:26
SPEAKER_05: And then a lot of shit that's like legacy tarnishing for dog.
• 22:30
SPEAKER_05: And he a lot of stuff he wouldn't even did if he was still here.
• 22:34
  SPEAKER_02: Right, right.
• 22:35
SPEAKER_02: Okay, so you've been keeping up with it a little bit.
• 22:37
SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah, yeah, for sure.
• 22:38
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I just know I've been seeing people saying, like, just that they like how she's been carrying herself ever since then and been real like performative and kind of clout chasing.
• 22:50
SPEAKER_02: Like I said, I ain't really followed it, so I'm just saying what I've been like kind of seeing people say um on social media.
• 22:58
SPEAKER_02: And I've been seeing a lot of people say that.
• 22:59
SPEAKER_02: Like on my posts, I'll see comments saying, like, well, she's been selling, you know, just doing a lot.
• 23:07
SPEAKER_02: Like, like, like that just don't look good.
• 23:09
SPEAKER_05: Candace Owens did, she did like a whole series about it.
• 23:13
  SPEAKER_05: Okay.
• 23:14
SPEAKER_05: Like, like I had listened to her.
• 23:16
  SPEAKER_05: I'm thinking I think I'm either finished.
• 23:19
SPEAKER_05: No, I'm on the eighth episode of it.
• 23:22
  SPEAKER_05: Okay.
• 23:23
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, no, I mean, like, she be doing just been doing like little deep dives and stuff like that, and just like different stuff that she been saying that been kind of contradicting the stuff that she had already been said.
• 23:36
  SPEAKER_05: Okay.
• 23:37
SPEAKER_05: Like just like comparing notes and all types of stuff.
• 23:42
SPEAKER_05: She she goes deep about it.
• 23:44
  SPEAKER_03: Okay.
• 23:45
  SPEAKER_03: Okay.
• 23:47
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah, well, uh definitely.
• 23:50
SPEAKER_02: Well, one thing about it, every comedian we ever had basically has had moments where they offended people, and they got that's what they got to deal with.
• 24:00
SPEAKER_02: That's what comes with their profession.
• 24:02
SPEAKER_02: You know what I'm saying?
• 24:02
SPEAKER_02: Like you said, you gotta stand on it right or wrong, however, you know, even I forgot because I was thinking, I was like, well, the one comedian I could think of that didn't offend anybody was Kevin Hart.
• 24:14
SPEAKER_02: But then I forgot about what it was, he hosted the Oscars or something.
• 24:17
SPEAKER_02: Somebody reminded me, I forgot when he hosted, I think it was the Oscars or one of those shows, he did offend a lot of people, like to the point where I don't even know if he was able to come back or if he just didn't want to go back.
• 24:31
SPEAKER_02: But even him and he bought as cheesy as they come, he had moments where he offended people.
• 24:37
SPEAKER_02: So, I mean, that just kind of comes with the territory.
• 24:40
SPEAKER_02: It's like when you're a comedian, you gotta toe that line, and sometimes you might go over that line because you're trying to toe the line.
• 24:48
SPEAKER_02: But if you don't get close to that line, you won't really be a big comedian.
• 24:53
  SPEAKER_02: Let's look at him.
• 24:55
SPEAKER_02: Dave Chappelle, has he offended people?
• 24:57
  SPEAKER_02: Hell yeah.
• 24:58
SPEAKER_02: All right, Chris Rock has offended people, yeah.
• 25:01
SPEAKER_05: Got the shit slapped up on him, too.
• 25:04
SPEAKER_02: Even Jerry Seinfeld has offended people.
• 25:08
SPEAKER_02: I remember certain episodes of his shows would just get beat controversial hell, and I wouldn't even know why.
• 25:16
SPEAKER_02: But you just never know how you, you know, how you're gonna offend somebody.
• 25:20
SPEAKER_02: Um, like I said, you could just name them every every big Richard Pryor, Eddie Murphy, um, just all of them.
• 25:29
SPEAKER_02: It just comes with the territory.
• 25:31
SPEAKER_02: It's like it's like it's kind of like to be honest, I wouldn't really want to be a comedian.
• 25:41
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I wouldn't want to be one because it's too, it's too like like you can't be really successful unless you really towing that line.
• 25:53
SPEAKER_02: You know what I'm saying?
• 25:54
SPEAKER_05: And I mean what's the difference between being a regular person?
• 25:59
SPEAKER_05: It's like it's certain, it's a lot of stuff that motherfuckers used to say back in the day that you can't you so so-called restricted or censored from saying up.
• 26:10
SPEAKER_05: So it's like it's the same, same thing.
• 26:12
SPEAKER_05: They just it's just they just more so on that plat on the platform of that.
• 26:17
SPEAKER_05: They center stage with their shit.
• 26:19
  SPEAKER_02: Mm-hmm.
• 26:20
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and that's literally how they make their living.
• 26:22
  SPEAKER_02: Like literally.
• 26:24
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you know, you you can't be.
• 26:26
SPEAKER_02: I mean, because I'm even like I said, I'm I'm I I really was racking my brains trying to think of um like comedians who who didn't offend nobody, even Bill Cosby at the end of the day.
• 26:40
SPEAKER_02: And he had the most cheesiest jello pudding pop comedian ever as far as his comedy, he even offended folks at times.
• 26:49
SPEAKER_02: Shit, he offended black folks, you know, he offended his own people plenty of times.
• 26:56
SPEAKER_02: So, like I said, it just comes with the territory.
• 27:00
SPEAKER_02: Um but Drewski, like um, and I and I'ma just say this, like you said about uh uh um how you said like uh the restrictions and the censorship get tighter and tighter in so many words, you said for everybody.
• 27:29
SPEAKER_02: I'm the the thing that Drewski is because I I've noticed because Drewski didn't he didn't start off, I mean he he was doing like kind of regular skits, and then he started diving into like the controversial ones, yeah.
• 27:46
SPEAKER_02: And I just hope that he don't go too far on one of these.
• 27:54
SPEAKER_02: You know what I mean?
• 27:54
SPEAKER_02: Like, and I'm sure he I'm I'm hoping I'm sure he's smart enough not to, but I'm starting to see like a pattern, like he like, oh this is my thing.
• 28:04
SPEAKER_02: You know, he did the he did the like hillbilly one, you remember that one?
• 28:09
SPEAKER_02: Um, and that was real controversial.
• 28:11
SPEAKER_02: That was similar to this one where they were like that's like white face or whatever, you know, but then he did the one about the church, yeah.
• 28:19
SPEAKER_02: Which and I ain't mad at none of them.
• 28:21
SPEAKER_05: He had the pastors tight about that, yeah.
• 28:24
SPEAKER_02: He had the pastors tight, and like I wasn't mad about that one, and then now he got this one, and I think he had another one that was kind of like controversial, and it's like now it's like it seemed like that's the only kind he making now.
• 28:37
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
• 28:38
SPEAKER_05: You notice that more so just skit comedy, yeah.
• 28:41
SPEAKER_05: But and and going super like racial or or more so geared towards current events, I'll say that more so geared towards that, or or not even just like I say current events and societal stigmas and stuff like that, yeah, yeah.
• 29:04
SPEAKER_02: So yeah, I'm I'm hoping I'm hoping he don't go too far.
• 29:07
SPEAKER_02: He probably won't, but I've been following Drewski for a while, so I've seen a transition of straight like controversy, you know what I'm saying.
• 29:19
SPEAKER_02: And he sell like many people see controversy sells.
• 29:23
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so it's just a dangerous line because we live in a in a in a in an era where you could do the wrong one, it really can be canceled, kind of.
• 29:35
SPEAKER_02: You know what I mean?
• 29:35
SPEAKER_02: Kind of like the baby, a rapper.
• 29:38
SPEAKER_02: I don't know if y'all know who the baby is, but he told the story himself.
• 29:43
SPEAKER_02: He's not a comedian, but just as an example of going too far and it costing you, the baby was getting three three hundred thousand dollars per show he was making.
• 29:56
SPEAKER_02: He was making, listen to your listen to this guy and gals.
• 30:01
SPEAKER_02: The baby, a rapper, was making three hundred thousand dollars per show.
• 30:09
SPEAKER_02: One show he went into some rant or like a homophobic rant or something, something like that, right?
• 30:16
  SPEAKER_02: C Tuck?
• 30:17
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah, he went into like a homophobic rent, talking about gays, and it dropped his price all the way down to 30,000 overnight.
• 30:33
SPEAKER_02: Imagine you getting paid 300,000 per show, and overnight, because of a two-minute rent, you get dropped to 30,000, and not only that, not only did it drop to 30,000, but it was like a lot of people wouldn't even book him.
• 30:50
SPEAKER_02: A lot of people took shows he had got canceled, just based off of his opinion on something.
• 30:57
SPEAKER_02: Yep, and he never recovered.
• 31:00
SPEAKER_02: He's doing his thing now, but it's it's the number is still low.
• 31:03
SPEAKER_05: He bounced back now, especially with this this new album that he dropped.
• 31:07
SPEAKER_05: He he ain't he back in the stadiums and shit.
• 31:10
SPEAKER_05: So he he he he didn't bounce back.
• 31:13
SPEAKER_05: It took him a minute though, a long time, and he ain't getting 300.
• 31:17
SPEAKER_05: I wouldn't even say he he he had to just pivot a little bit.
• 31:22
SPEAKER_05: It didn't really, it he wasn't really just main more so mainstream.
• 31:27
  SPEAKER_05: That attention went away.
• 31:29
SPEAKER_05: He still was rocking and rolling and stuff.
• 31:31
SPEAKER_05: You just he just was appealing more so to his core fan base for a long time instead of main instead of the mainstream spotlight.
• 31:41
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, but I'll just so yeah, y'all just using that as an example of in this world in which which I see one thing about it.
• 31:50
SPEAKER_02: He ain't uh Drewski ain't offended that call that that crowd.
• 31:56
SPEAKER_02: Now that's where you you know that's what the baby learned.
• 31:58
SPEAKER_02: You that crowd will you get canceled quicker than anything.
• 32:02
  SPEAKER_02: So that's what I'm saying.
• 32:03
SPEAKER_02: I hope Drewski don't get so far, don't get so caught up in just focusing on doing controversy.
• 32:10
SPEAKER_02: I think he should make some regular stuff in there.
• 32:14
SPEAKER_02: Like even Dave Chappelle, he had controversial skits, but then he had just regular funny skits that ain't that ain't that wasn't controversial.
• 32:22
SPEAKER_02: They just was good funny stuff, you know what I mean?
• 32:25
SPEAKER_02: And I hope, like I said, it just lately it just seemed like Juice been focusing on that.
• 32:31
  SPEAKER_02: So we'll see.
• 32:32
SPEAKER_02: Like I said, I've been following them for a long time.
• 32:35
SPEAKER_05: So and I knew I kind of knew that this type stuff was about to start happening with him.
• 32:39
SPEAKER_05: Once I seen Dog on like the T Murble, two T-Mobile and Sprite commercials and shit.
• 32:44
SPEAKER_05: I'm like, yeah, he about to he try he about to make that jump.
• 32:47
SPEAKER_05: You once you seen him on what?
• 32:49
SPEAKER_05: Like on the little T-Mobile commercials and stuff.
• 32:51
SPEAKER_05: I'm like, yeah, he about to he about to make that jump.
• 32:54
  SPEAKER_02: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah.
• 32:55
SPEAKER_02: Oh you see, yeah, yeah, yeah, for sure.
• 32:59
  SPEAKER_02: For sure.
• 33:01
SPEAKER_05: But even like some interviews I done seen with him, he he like he just said he wanted more, he wanted more movie roles and stuff like that.
• 33:11
  SPEAKER_05: Okay.
• 33:11
SPEAKER_05: So a lot of that, shit, a lot of that probably gonna get him into the to that little that little Kevin Hart type plateau for real.
• 33:19
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, he he he definitely blowing up.
• 33:23
SPEAKER_02: He definitely might be he probably the hottest comedian right now.
• 33:29
SPEAKER_02: One of them for sure.
• 33:31
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah, because I don't know who's hotter than him, right?
• 33:34
SPEAKER_02: Right, like at this very moment.
• 33:36
SPEAKER_05: The ones that the all the like the other, they all they they just they tour around the country, they get that that tour money.
• 33:44
  SPEAKER_02: Who you talking about?
• 33:45
SPEAKER_05: Like all like Mojo and all them, they just they go, they just hit the road a lot of the time.
• 33:50
SPEAKER_05: They have little specials and stuff, but they ain't and they do like little social media skits and stuff like that, but they mostly get their money on them, like Carlos, Miller, all of them.
• 34:01
SPEAKER_02: They get they they they hit the road with their somebody said I watched Candace, so I've so I have some kind of thoughts about her.
• 34:17
SPEAKER_05: Oh, you're talking about Erica Kirk, yeah, yeah.
• 34:21
SPEAKER_02: And somebody said something I didn't know about.
• 34:23
SPEAKER_02: Uh she made a oh this Tracy said she made a video one time where someone asked her how she feels about all the people talking bad about her and her husband and what they do.
• 34:35
SPEAKER_02: She told them, and I quote, bring it on, yeah.
• 34:39
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that's yeah.
• 34:41
SPEAKER_02: That's the kind of energy when you when you when you when you put stuff like that out.
• 34:46
SPEAKER_02: I mean, get what you ask for sometime.
• 34:49
SPEAKER_05: Man, the one thing was funny, them facial expressions though.
• 34:52
SPEAKER_05: That that because she do you make it up phase up like, man, why is she looking like that?
• 34:57
SPEAKER_05: He be looking like the eyes be changing and shit.
• 35:00
  SPEAKER_05: What the fuck?
• 35:02
SPEAKER_05: Like, what you got going on?
• 35:04
  SPEAKER_02: Right.
• 35:05
  SPEAKER_02: Good morning, Siri.
• 35:07
SPEAKER_02: One of our longtime members and subscribers and supporters, y'all, is in the building.
• 35:13
SPEAKER_02: Everybody say good morning to Siri.
• 35:15
SPEAKER_02: Haven't seen her in a while, but it's always great when we do get to see you.
• 35:24
SPEAKER_02: Siri, everybody been making uh letters of recommendation.
• 35:28
SPEAKER_02: I have uh I have a guardianship uh court hearing next week.
• 35:35
SPEAKER_02: So everybody, I don't know if you saw if you caught the last episode, but everybody in the community community has been sending emails um on my behalf.
• 35:47
SPEAKER_02: Um my son's name is Harold, of course.
• 35:50
  SPEAKER_02: My name is Harold.
• 35:51
SPEAKER_02: So you can address it as Harold if you want to uh send me an email to the court.
• 35:55
SPEAKER_02: I got the uh email addresses at the beginning of this.
• 35:59
SPEAKER_02: Or C Tuck, if you could put it in one more time, because it won't let me go all the way back.
• 36:05
SPEAKER_02: You can put it in for Surrey.
• 36:07
  SPEAKER_02: Oh shit.
• 36:12
SPEAKER_02: I'm sure Surrey, I have a uh uh sorry, I put a good one together for your boy.
• 36:27
  SPEAKER_02: Here it is, Suri.
• 36:28
SPEAKER_02: If you get a chance, that's the email.
• 36:31
SPEAKER_02: Um, you know, my uh I'm sure from the episodes, you know, my son, we've been we've been we've been battling this mental health thing, and I need, I feel like I need, and I know that's pretty, I know that I need guardianship to to get him over the hump.
• 36:48
SPEAKER_02: So I can kind of put a little have them a little more control of getting them getting them the help he needs and stuff like that.
• 36:56
SPEAKER_02: So uh, Siri, if you can tell the course to give me guardianship so they don't try to play me and let them know that we are a community.
• 37:04
SPEAKER_02: We standing behind my me and my son and everything like that.
• 37:08
  SPEAKER_02: I appreciate it.
• 37:10
  SPEAKER_02: What else we got?
• 37:13
  SPEAKER_02: Steve Tuck.
• 37:17
SPEAKER_02: Um so did you hear anything about the power grid being knocked out?
• 37:28
  SPEAKER_02: I ain't hear well I run.
• 37:29
SPEAKER_02: I mean, for Iran, my fault, I should have cleared it up too.
• 37:32
SPEAKER_02: Iran, something about their powers, something.
• 37:36
SPEAKER_05: No, uh Trump said he was gonna attack the power grid if they up the uh the what's name was that Hormus.
• 37:46
SPEAKER_05: Even if he do that, that's still gonna fuck up shit over here.
• 37:51
  SPEAKER_03: Okay, for real?
• 37:52
  SPEAKER_05: Yeah, so it's like I don't understand.
• 37:56
SPEAKER_05: Then if uh I ran and released this little video, man, where they got like the they they shoot off this missile and that motherfucker flying through different countries.
• 38:06
SPEAKER_05: You got people like looking up at the sky, and then they finally go through the clouds and come through New York and it hit the Statue of Liberty.
• 38:15
SPEAKER_05: But the Statue of Liberty ain't like Lady Liberty, it's like the little goat little figure or whatever.
• 38:22
  SPEAKER_05: For real?
• 38:23
SPEAKER_05: And they blow it up, and then at the end of it, it says one vengeance for all.
• 38:30
  SPEAKER_05: Damn.
• 38:32
SPEAKER_05: Man, like that shit is wild.
• 38:36
  SPEAKER_02: Man, I ran.
• 38:38
SPEAKER_02: It's like after all this, they still talk it.
• 38:40
SPEAKER_02: Like they they they they still going in, huh?
• 38:43
  SPEAKER_05: They not playing.
• 38:47
  SPEAKER_05: They is not playing.
• 38:48
SPEAKER_05: Uh, and I don't know why why Trump like they they motherfucking raised the enlistment ages.
• 38:54
SPEAKER_05: Now you can be 40.
• 38:56
SPEAKER_05: Well, they they raised it up to 42.
• 38:58

SPEAKER_05: And fucking up the economy.
• 39:24
SPEAKER_05: Uh that's that was already fucked up and flawed to begin with.

SPEAKER_05: They said, Yeah, you can you smoking, you good.

  SPEAKER_05: Come on with it.
• 40:21
SPEAKER_05: So it's like, man, they sh I don't know.
• 40:26
SPEAKER_05: All the all them, like I said, all the motherfuckers that's riding around plaguing and terrorizing their neighborhoods wanting to shoot shoot people's houses up and shit.
• 40:34
SPEAKER_05: Go ahead over there and shoot some shit up.
• 40:38
  SPEAKER_02: What?
• 40:41
SPEAKER_02: Oh, you talk about over there?
• 40:42
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
• 40:43
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
• 40:47
  SPEAKER_02: Man.
• 40:47
SPEAKER_02: Will you you see this ending anytime soon, the war?
• 40:51
  SPEAKER_02: No.
• 40:52
  SPEAKER_02: No.
• 40:53
SPEAKER_05: They had to stop it completely.
• 40:55
SPEAKER_05: And even then, uh they were talking about uh Trump over there talking about Iran wasn't playing ball with negotiations, but the shit that he offered them was fucked up to where it was like if I was the Iran, I would have walked away too.
• 41:13
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 41:14
SPEAKER_05: Because it was just gonna make us make us put them in the in the foot on their neck type situation.
• 41:20
SPEAKER_05: Instead of really working with them.
• 41:23
  SPEAKER_05: Yeah, I get it.
• 41:25
SPEAKER_05: You gotta you gotta you gotta give something to get something.
• 41:27
SPEAKER_05: You can't just take, take, take.
• 41:29
SPEAKER_05: That ain't no conducive relationship.
• 41:33
  SPEAKER_02: Nah, not at all.
• 41:36
  SPEAKER_02: Not at all.
• 41:40
SPEAKER_02: So we got so so so so that ain't that that that's we still in limbo or I don't know, stand still or whatever when it comes to the war.
• 41:52
  SPEAKER_02: Uh 50 cent.
• 41:55
SPEAKER_02: Um donated, kept his word and donated five hundred thousand dollars from the Diddy documentary proceeds or profits to uh somewhere, somebody in uh hold on, let me see what he did.
• 42:11
  SPEAKER_02: Did y'all hear that?
• 42:14
  SPEAKER_02: No, I didn't hear that.
• 42:16
  SPEAKER_02: Okay.
• 42:17
SPEAKER_02: 50 cents makes good on his promise.
• 42:21
SPEAKER_02: Um donates$500,000 to Sri Um for nonprofits, and one of the nonprofits was uh domestic violence uh survivors.
• 42:40
SPEAKER_02: So 50 cent is just really just just killing it right now, especially with the come to him and Diddy.
• 42:47
SPEAKER_02: He done he done made a documentary and then I'd have donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to nonprofits in Shreveport, like I said, including domestic violence survivors.
• 42:58
  SPEAKER_02: That's pretty good cause.
• 42:59
  SPEAKER_05: Yep.
• 43:00
  SPEAKER_02: Go 50.
• 43:03
  SPEAKER_05: Oh, no, that's dope.
• 43:05
SPEAKER_05: You can't you can't can't do nothing but applaud that.
• 43:08
  SPEAKER_05: Mm-hmm.
• 43:09
  SPEAKER_02: Mm-hmm.
• 43:09
SPEAKER_02: And he said he was gonna do it and he did it.
• 43:12
SPEAKER_02: Um, what is his uh meanwhile, Diddy trying to get his ass out?
• 43:20
SPEAKER_02: He knows these state charges coming down the pipe.
• 43:24
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
• 43:25
SPEAKER_02: And he tried to get he he that's what I said, he putting everything into this appeal.
• 43:30
SPEAKER_05: Then state charges coming down the pipe, not like not the way he likes nigga.
• 43:37
  SPEAKER_02: No diddy.
• 43:43
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, diddy, diddy getting dog walked by 50, 50, 50, 50 killing them.
• 43:49
  SPEAKER_02: 50 killing him.
• 43:50
SPEAKER_02: Uh did you see uh Lil Lil Diddy uh house was broke broken into or something?
• 43:59
  SPEAKER_02: Did you see that?
• 44:00
  SPEAKER_01: Mm-mm.
• 44:00
SPEAKER_02: Oh, you ain't see that?
• 44:02
  SPEAKER_02: No.
• 44:03
SPEAKER_02: Put a one in the chat.
• 44:04
SPEAKER_02: We're gonna talk about that.
• 44:05
SPEAKER_02: Put a one in the chat.
• 44:06
SPEAKER_02: I might have to uh go to my phone um to to to discuss it.
• 44:10
  SPEAKER_02: I know you ain't know that.
• 44:11
  SPEAKER_02: Uh C Ted.
• 44:12
SPEAKER_02: You can you pull it up?
• 44:14
SPEAKER_02: Which little which little Diddy?
• 44:15
SPEAKER_05: I don't even know where you see it at.
• 44:17
SPEAKER_02: Christian Combs, it's a it's a major story, either TMZ or if you just put it in Yahoo, it'll come up.
• 44:25
  SPEAKER_02: Christian Combs home burglarized.
• 44:32
SPEAKER_02: Who broke into Diddy's home?
• 44:37
SPEAKER_02: What was they trying to what was they looking for?
• 44:42
  SPEAKER_02: What did they take?
• 44:46
SPEAKER_00: These are all the questions we had.
• 44:57
  SPEAKER_00: Okay, sir.
• 45:00
SPEAKER_02: I'm telling you, man, ain't not like having a good a good a good bunch of good people around you.
• 45:07
SPEAKER_02: A good community like we got, man.
• 45:10
SPEAKER_02: Cause it really makes you be like, okay, this how this this how this is how we supposed to be down for each other.
• 45:19
SPEAKER_02: Like it's important to me, it's important to y'all.
• 45:22
SPEAKER_02: If it's important to y'all, it's important to me.
• 45:27
SPEAKER_02: A lot of times people just make what like what they feel is important, like and and instead of focusing on what you feel is important when it comes to you.
• 45:41
  SPEAKER_02: And y'all ain't like that.
• 45:43
  SPEAKER_02: Y'all, y'all, y'all know how how I feel about my son.
• 45:46
SPEAKER_02: Y'all know how important it is to me.
• 45:48
SPEAKER_02: And y'all standing ten toes with me, sending their letters.
• 45:51
SPEAKER_02: I like I told y'all, I could never be, I could never be down, I could never be upset.
• 45:56
SPEAKER_02: I had a time period where the stuff of my son really had me in a funk for a while, just just dealing with it because I just never dealt with nothing like that before.
• 46:06
SPEAKER_02: Now I'm out not out of my child.
• 46:08
SPEAKER_02: Your child is different than anything.
• 46:11
SPEAKER_02: You know what I'm saying?
• 46:12
SPEAKER_02: I I'd rather have stress and pressure on me.
• 46:15
SPEAKER_02: I could deal with that.
• 46:16
SPEAKER_02: But dealing with something trying to help my child, it was it it really shook me.
• 46:24
SPEAKER_02: But I got over it, I got a plan, and I feel great.
• 46:31
SPEAKER_05: So what exactly would the guardianship do?
• 46:34
  SPEAKER_05: Because he's 18, right?
• 46:36
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that's why I need guardianship.
• 46:37
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, so what like explain what is that exactly?
• 46:40
SPEAKER_02: All right, guardianship is just basically, you know what you can do.
• 46:44
SPEAKER_02: How is your how is your kid?
• 46:46
SPEAKER_05: My my uh oldest is about to be nine, and my youngest is about to be six.
• 46:51
SPEAKER_02: Okay, so your your oldest nine.
• 46:54
SPEAKER_02: Um, you know how you can do everything for your nine-year-old?
• 46:59
SPEAKER_02: You could go, you could call, you could get medication, you could do this, you could do that.
• 47:03
SPEAKER_02: If your nine-year-old was to run away, they're gonna make your nine-year-old come back home, all of that, that's what it does.
• 47:11
SPEAKER_02: Whereas if you're 18, none of that applies.
• 47:16
SPEAKER_02: Like I I can't even find out nothing about what he got going on medically or whatever without him, I can't make no appointments.
• 47:24
SPEAKER_02: If he does run away or have any issue, and the police can't do nothing at all, you know what I'm saying?
• 47:33
  SPEAKER_05: That's technically grown.
• 47:34
  SPEAKER_02: Exactly.
• 47:35
SPEAKER_02: So when you're trying to help a child that's technically grown but still not ready for the world, you in a hard put this attack position because you don't have no power.
• 47:47
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you don't have no power.
• 47:48
SPEAKER_02: Like I said, if you if if the child run away or or wanna run away, and even if you out there with the police, you and your child and the police, if you got a power of attorney, he got to go home.
• 47:59
SPEAKER_02: You don't have a power if he grows.
• 48:01
SPEAKER_02: If you don't have a power of attorney, the police just say, Hey, I can't do nothing about it, and you just gotta go about your business, and your child can go wherever they fuck they want to go.
• 48:11
SPEAKER_02: And so, even down to making appointments for a therapist or a psychiatrist, you can't make it.
• 48:18
SPEAKER_02: You can't make the appointment, you can't get uh like evaluations sent over, you can't do nothing.
• 48:24
SPEAKER_02: Because by him being 18, they expect him to do it.
• 48:28
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah, he grown.
• 48:28
SPEAKER_02: It's like by law, you can't, you know, once you grow, can't nobody get all of your medical records and do this and do that.
• 48:34
SPEAKER_02: So, like I said, so the main things for me, what I where I see it it helps or where it's needed is because of like making appointments and stuff like that, and following up and knowing what the hell is going on, you know, because you even if at 18, if he had appointments, if even if he does go, you don't know what happened, what you know, you can't really you just an outsider looking in.
• 49:00
SPEAKER_02: And then sometimes when they have an episode, which it wasn't a huge problem with me, but sometimes with his mother, it was more of a problem with him leaving or doing stuff like that more with her.
• 49:12
SPEAKER_02: Like I said, he could just do whatever he go and do whatever he wants, even if you get the police involved, it's like if he grown, you have no control.
• 49:22
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
• 49:23
SPEAKER_02: So that's where that's basically the whole point of it.
• 49:27
SPEAKER_02: And once, you know, he's smart, you know, kids are smart.
• 49:32
SPEAKER_02: So you're gonna move different when you know you gotta when you can just do whatever, versus when you know the repercussions is like they're gonna make you come back home.
• 49:43
SPEAKER_02: You know what I'm saying?
• 49:45
SPEAKER_02: They're gonna make you do this or that because I you know somebody else has guardianship.
• 49:49
SPEAKER_02: So that will make you even move different, huh?
• 49:52
SPEAKER_05: Well, he wanna move out or something.
• 49:53
SPEAKER_05: He well he'll go get a spot.
• 49:57
SPEAKER_02: I don't know if you mean mental health, you ain't even to that point.
• 50:01
SPEAKER_05: No, I'm I'm no, I'm knowing, I'm knowing about mental health, but it like he can he like I don't I don't know.
• 50:09
SPEAKER_05: That's what I'm trying to tell you.
• 50:10
SPEAKER_02: You ain't even you talking about getting a spot, bro.
• 50:13
SPEAKER_02: You when you you're going through this mental health thing, you just try to get into a routine in life, bro.
• 50:19
SPEAKER_05: You gotta break because I don't I don't know the exact mental health that he's dealing with, so I'm just speaking about just in general, yeah, yeah.
• 50:27
SPEAKER_05: No, in this situation, I don't know the exact diagnosis, so I right yeah, so I'm gonna yeah, but yeah, no, that ain't that would be simple.
• 50:36
  SPEAKER_02: It ain't it shit.
• 50:37
SPEAKER_02: I wish I wouldn't be if that was the case, I wouldn't even be getting guardians.
• 50:40
SPEAKER_05: Stepping stepping in like that, right?
• 50:42
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah, no, if we was to that point, but um, yeah, so it's just basically that, man.
• 50:48
SPEAKER_02: It and and and that's the whole reason, those those reasons I showed you and dealing with it, those you know, the reason why I know is because if certain issues would come up, um that would be my hurdle, you know what I'm saying?
• 51:02
SPEAKER_02: So and people was telling me, people who have dealt with this, told me that, but I'm thinking like you, I've tried to go that route, and then I finally realized, no, we gotta break this thing down to the studs.
• 51:16
SPEAKER_05: He's gonna get he's gonna get through it though, yeah, yeah.
• 51:18
SPEAKER_02: Cause he uh overall he good.
• 51:20
SPEAKER_02: It's not like he he very smart, he himself, he just had those moments, you know what I'm saying?
• 51:27
SPEAKER_02: Like, like if you was to meet him, or what people meet him, you don't know nothing, you wouldn't think nothing.
• 51:31
SPEAKER_05: I mean everybody had them moments, but some people just go through it differently, you know, and he's just going through it differently than everybody else, yeah.
• 51:42
SPEAKER_05: And he as long as he got the support system that he got, he he gonna be good.
• 51:46
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, I try I strongly believe that.
• 51:49
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I I'm not even worried.
• 51:51
SPEAKER_02: I just like I said, I this was a route that this was a last resort route, like I didn't want to have to go this route because he cuz he is 90% cool, you know what I'm saying?
• 52:02
SPEAKER_02: So I was I didn't want to have to go this route.
• 52:06
SPEAKER_02: Um, but it it it will uh be better because then it's also like it's certain benefits and a lot of stuff that that can really help him that I could just get for him and get it.
• 52:20
SPEAKER_02: He ain't gonna do it itself, you know what I mean?
• 52:22
SPEAKER_02: So it's like it's all of that, you know what I mean?
• 52:24
SPEAKER_02: Where I could just get him in a better position if I got control to just do it, versus like I said, once you grow, you can't do nothing.
• 52:32
SPEAKER_02: That he gotta do it.
• 52:33
SPEAKER_02: And he's 18, he don't know nothing about doing that type of stuff for real.
• 52:37
SPEAKER_02: So, like I said, but I I I appreciate the words and I do believe that.
• 52:41
SPEAKER_02: Like I know, like I said, I know he's gonna be good.
• 52:44
SPEAKER_02: That's why I want to do it, though, because I know how to it's basically to help him navigate it.
• 52:49
SPEAKER_02: To help him navigate it, yep, yep.
• 52:51
SPEAKER_02: It's like it's like right now, he needs to be like 16, not 18.
• 52:57
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and I can get him back up to speed, you know what I mean?
• 53:00
  SPEAKER_02: Like easily.
• 53:02
  SPEAKER_02: So, like I said, it's a good thing.
• 53:05
  SPEAKER_02: He's good, he's smart.
• 53:06
SPEAKER_02: Like I said, he he he just like anybody else.
• 53:09
SPEAKER_02: Like I said, if you meet him or you around, you won't know nothing, nothing at all wrong with him at all.
• 53:14
SPEAKER_02: You know what I'm saying?
• 53:15
SPEAKER_02: You would think he just cool.
• 53:17
SPEAKER_02: So uh he definitely straight, and then it's like I think it's a little tough on a woman, you know, his mother, you know, he grown as man, big as me, you know what I'm saying?
• 53:27
SPEAKER_02: So he's a big dude, you know.
• 53:29
SPEAKER_02: You know how it is, all of us, you know, once we get to that age where we because he still feels like he knows, so that's the thing, you know what I'm saying?
• 53:37
SPEAKER_02: So he ain't trying to listen to moms all like that.
• 53:41
SPEAKER_02: I wasn't either though, at that age, you know.
• 53:43
SPEAKER_02: I love my mom, but once I became 18, 19, I kind of started doing my thing, you know.
• 53:50
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I did you did too.
• 53:53
SPEAKER_02: I could imagine a little C Tuck doing his thing.
• 53:56
SPEAKER_05: I moved out of the house when I was 18.
• 53:59
SPEAKER_05: Okay, yeah, but I already had my own spot.
• 54:01
SPEAKER_05: I was working at Key Bank, all type shit.
• 54:04
  SPEAKER_05: Oh shit.
• 54:05
SPEAKER_02: Hey C Tuck, you got up through, huh?
• 54:08
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, I did a year at Central State, came home for the summer.
• 54:14
SPEAKER_05: Okay, bank job was seasonal.
• 54:17
SPEAKER_05: And then at the end of the C that I are you going back?
• 54:20
  SPEAKER_05: I'm like, shoot.
• 54:21
  SPEAKER_05: I'm like, if I ain't have a reason, if I got a reason not to, I I won't.
• 54:25
SPEAKER_05: Well, we want to offer you the position.
• 54:26
SPEAKER_05: I'm like, well, you gave me a reason not to.
• 54:29
SPEAKER_05: I'm like, cause because I was going to school for accounting and business management.
• 54:33
SPEAKER_05: I'm like, shit, I'm working where I can learn the shit firsthand.
• 54:39
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, no, I I can imagine, I already know it.
• 54:41
SPEAKER_02: C Tech, but you you was uh I've I've I've you probably didn't as a manager, 18, I think he was man.
• 54:49
SPEAKER_05: Oh yeah, I was I was shooting, but yeah, I was moving, man.
• 54:53
SPEAKER_05: I was I was standing out of Richmond, had uh Monte Carlo, all type shit.
• 54:58
  SPEAKER_02: You were okay.
• 55:02
  SPEAKER_02: So yeah, man.
• 55:03
SPEAKER_02: My son, the same way.
• 55:05
  SPEAKER_02: That's the thing.
• 55:05
SPEAKER_02: He is his own car, he wanted to have his own spot, he wanted to do that, he his own man.
• 55:10
SPEAKER_02: See, he got a lot of me in him, he wants to do his own thing.
• 55:13
SPEAKER_02: He just ain't ready right now.
• 55:16
SPEAKER_02: You know what I'm saying?
• 55:17
SPEAKER_02: And and and I want to get him ready.
• 55:19
SPEAKER_02: But that that's like the conflict of him.
• 55:21
SPEAKER_02: Like he's not mentally ready, but in him, his me, so he he'll take off and want to go get his own spot and everything.
• 55:30
SPEAKER_02: And his own, he already had his own have his own car when he was 16.
• 55:34
SPEAKER_02: You know what I mean?
• 55:35
SPEAKER_02: Saved up, me and him went half on his car.
• 55:38
SPEAKER_02: And uh, and so when he don't like what's going on at the home, and you know, it's it's it's it's it's different.
• 55:44
SPEAKER_02: Sometimes with the moms, like with me, he didn't take off because it's kind of like you know, when you man and man, you kind of know how to handle, but when it's man and woman, sometimes, you know, especially you a you a you becoming a man in your head in your head, and your mom trying to tell you X, Y, and Z, you just be like, I'm out of here, you know.
• 56:03
SPEAKER_05: Especially if you mean that's kind of uh what it wasn't like that because like she, even now, like I don't even cuss around my mama, like I'd be worried, she's gonna pop me in my mouth, right?
• 56:14
SPEAKER_05: But it's had that level of respect for my mama where I wasn't really like that.
• 56:19
SPEAKER_05: The purpose of me moving out is because I knew I was I'm in my early stages of adulthood and I knew I was progressing into manhood.
• 56:28
  SPEAKER_05: Right.
• 56:29
SPEAKER_05: So I'm about to be going out enjoying my little taste of the nightlife and all that type stuff.
• 56:34
SPEAKER_05: I'm not about to disrespect this woman, and I know her, I done known since I was a kid, you better not come in this house late at night.
• 56:43
SPEAKER_05: So I'm if I know I plan on being out two, three o'clock in the morning, I'm not about to disrespect my mama and keep coming in and out of her house like that.
• 56:52
SPEAKER_05: And then my little brother seeing that thinking that that shit is cool.
• 56:56
SPEAKER_05: No, I'm gonna move out, get my own shit where I can come in and out as I please.
• 57:01
SPEAKER_05: And I ain't got to worry about it.
• 57:03
  SPEAKER_03: Right, right, right, right.
• 57:06
SPEAKER_05: And then like I wasn't I ain't never been like finances ain't really been like an area of trouble for I knew how to balance a checkbook since I was seven years old.
• 57:19
  SPEAKER_03: Okay.
• 57:20
  SPEAKER_05: So Who taught you?
• 57:21
  SPEAKER_05: My mama.
• 57:22
  SPEAKER_03: Okay.
• 57:23
SPEAKER_05: Like my my pops wasn't there for he he was in jail for the majority.
• 57:27
SPEAKER_05: Like she he when he got out, I was 27.
• 57:30
  SPEAKER_03: Okay.
• 57:31
SPEAKER_05: So like he so it was always my mama.
• 57:34
SPEAKER_05: Like she, it was a they used to it, I don't know what it is now, but in Buckeye Plaza, it was called Finance.
• 57:41
  SPEAKER_05: The grocery store.
• 57:42
SPEAKER_05: She used to be a couple of years.
• 57:43
  SPEAKER_05: Yeah, I remember finance.
• 57:44
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, she worked there, pick she worked there in Cleveland State before she got the job at the post office.
• 57:49
  SPEAKER_05: Okay.
• 57:50
SPEAKER_05: She has she actually about to retire next year from the post office.
• 57:54
SPEAKER_02: Okay, what she did at Cleveland State?
• 57:56
SPEAKER_05: She was in the admissions office.
• 57:58
SPEAKER_02: I might have seen your mom then.
• 58:00
SPEAKER_02: I don't know what years she was there, but I was at Cleveland State.
• 58:02
  SPEAKER_05: Early early 90s.
• 58:04
  SPEAKER_02: Oh, early 90s.
• 58:05
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I was there late 90s.
• 58:07
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, she was in the early 90s because she started, she was already working at the post office, I think like 95, 96.
• 58:16
  SPEAKER_05: Okay.
• 58:17
  SPEAKER_05: Yeah, like 95, 96.
• 58:19
  SPEAKER_05: Okay.
• 58:19
SPEAKER_05: So, yeah, so like I remember like when my granny would be picking her up from the job, she'd get in the back seat with me.
• 58:27
SPEAKER_05: Okay, look, this is how you do.
• 58:29
SPEAKER_05: This is how much I started with for the day.
• 58:31
SPEAKER_05: This is what I spent, blah, blah, blah.
• 58:33
SPEAKER_05: This is what I ended up with, just breaking it down to where I motherfuckers got online banking.
• 58:39
SPEAKER_05: I utilize that, but I still got a calculator or something, and I just deduct what I done spent for the day.
• 58:46
SPEAKER_05: That way I know what should be in my account.
• 58:48
SPEAKER_05: And if there's any discrepancy, I got to go look for that and compare notes.
• 58:52
  SPEAKER_02: Gotcha, gotcha.
• 58:53
  SPEAKER_02: That's what's up, man.
• 58:54
SPEAKER_02: Well, shout out to your mom.
• 58:55
  SPEAKER_05: Oh, yeah, that's that's my that's my dog.
• 58:58
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that's what's up.
• 58:59
  SPEAKER_02: That's good.
• 58:59
  SPEAKER_02: Good good stuff.
• 59:01
SPEAKER_02: Uh uh creepy Lil Beach kind of explained what I was kind of saying.
• 59:05
SPEAKER_02: She was like, and uh, like if I see my son sliding mentally, I'll be able to call the therapist and discuss the situation, uh, where I can make decisions in case to get him back on the right track on his mental path.
• 59:18
SPEAKER_02: Without guard without guardianship, I can't do that.
• 59:20
SPEAKER_02: Like that the therapist won't tell me nothing.
• 59:23
SPEAKER_02: They not they're not allowed to.
• 59:25
SPEAKER_02: You know what I'm saying?
• 59:26
SPEAKER_02: So that that that definitely comes into play a lot of times.
• 59:30
  SPEAKER_02: But yeah, man.
• 59:32
SPEAKER_05: But one thing for sure, like what I DE, I even read this thing where you when you when you you gotta like the way we was raised, you you can't like you can bring a lot of them morals and stuff into like the newer generation, but you gotta appeal to that generation when you're doing it.
• 59:54
SPEAKER_05: Like, I can't raise my kids the same way I got raised.
• 59:58
  SPEAKER_05: Exactly.
• 59:58
  SPEAKER_05: That's true.
• 59:59
SPEAKER_05: They more advanced and stuff, like technology technological advances and things like that to where I got most stuff to worry about, where I got passwords and stuff.
• 1:00:11
SPEAKER_05: I have to become fluent in a lot more stuff to where a lot of shit was still being done on paper when I was a kid.
• 1:00:17
SPEAKER_05: They don't even teach cursive as a curriculum in school.
• 1:00:21
  SPEAKER_05: No more.
• 1:00:22
SPEAKER_05: They don't teach you that no more.
• 1:00:23
  SPEAKER_05: They don't teach cursive.
• 1:00:24
  SPEAKER_05: I ain't know that.
• 1:00:26
SPEAKER_05: I had to we show uh that's like we had to show my babies about cursive and shit.
• 1:00:31
SPEAKER_05: Wow, so they just did it cursive.
• 1:00:33
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, so it's like so then like and then they like it's a different generation.
• 1:00:39
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yep, it is.
• 1:00:40
SPEAKER_05: So you so you don't want to, you don't want like and then at the same time, if it's somebody like you don't want to seem like it's overbearing to where like they feel like you don't trust them.
• 1:00:52
SPEAKER_05: Or like you feel like like damn, like I I know how to do this.
• 1:00:56
SPEAKER_05: Like, why is you you don't you don't want that report because you still want them to like even with my kids, even with them being nine, like eight and five, I still like uh let them know, like, okay, look, I got you if you need, I'm gonna let you do such stuff, but if you need me, I'm here just to get that comfortability where it ain't like I'm just hovering over their shoulder, like, oh, what you doing?
• 1:01:18
  SPEAKER_05: What you doing?
• 1:01:19
SPEAKER_05: Like, just like just like still like like being that parent, but still respecting them as a person because they are growing into their own selves as an individual.
• 1:01:30
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
• 1:01:32
SPEAKER_05: And that do that does mean a lot because it didn't, I know it's been periods of time when I was a kid where it was them just do some shit because I said so tight moment when I really had an opinion about something.
• 1:01:45
SPEAKER_05: If you would have heard me out, that might have swayed your decision.
• 1:01:51
  SPEAKER_02: True.
• 1:01:52
SPEAKER_02: Definitely, definitely a different generation.
• 1:01:54
SPEAKER_02: You definitely can't can't can't raise them the way we was raised.
• 1:01:58
SPEAKER_02: Like, like it definitely is very different.
• 1:02:00
  SPEAKER_02: I noticed that.
• 1:02:03
SPEAKER_02: I noticed that things that like my uncles and my dad did to me.
• 1:02:06
  SPEAKER_02: You feel me?
• 1:02:07
SPEAKER_02: That don't resonate with this new with the you gotta do a different approach for sure.
• 1:02:12
  SPEAKER_02: I definitely noticed that.
• 1:02:14
SPEAKER_02: At least said, how does King feel about this?
• 1:02:16
  SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna be honest.
• 1:02:17
SPEAKER_02: King don't think he need King think he alright.
• 1:02:20
SPEAKER_02: Like he don't think he needs no help.
• 1:02:24
SPEAKER_02: No, that's how he feels.
• 1:02:27
SPEAKER_05: So y'all, I'm pretty sure y'all done sat him down and explained to why he needs it.
• 1:02:34
  SPEAKER_02: Oh, hell yeah.
• 1:02:36
SPEAKER_02: But you know, shit, that that's part of it.
• 1:02:39
  SPEAKER_02: That's what's so tricky about it.
• 1:02:42
SPEAKER_02: Because you're not you you you're not your your ability to make sound decisions is kind of taken away from you when you got that mental health going on.
• 1:02:52
SPEAKER_02: So it's like so it's like you can't make you you you you think you don't need help because you're you ain't even making sound decisions, where like it's obvious like you do, but it's telling you you don't.
• 1:03:09
SPEAKER_02: You know what I'm saying?
• 1:03:10
SPEAKER_02: And that's what the whole that's really why it's so tricky, because the prop the the whole problem stems or what it causes is it affects your decision making.
• 1:03:23
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
• 1:03:24
SPEAKER_02: So how you gonna help yourself when your decision making is to get the help that you need.
• 1:03:31
SPEAKER_02: You feel what I'm saying?
• 1:03:33
SPEAKER_02: That's the whole trickiness about it.
• 1:03:34
  SPEAKER_02: It's like you can't help yourself.
• 1:03:37
SPEAKER_02: You got you need that's why, even if you watch one good thing is when Gucci man, his when his uh, because a lot of people can relate to him, he's a rapper, went through mental health, but if he had an interview, I think it was on Breakfast Club or one of those, and his wife, she was explaining everything, like it was he had to had to kidnap him and shit like that.
• 1:04:00
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, just all type of stuff.
• 1:04:01
SPEAKER_02: And because, like I told you, it's like the own, and it's sad because most of most of people, families or people don't do all what I'm doing or what his mom is doing.
• 1:04:13
SPEAKER_02: You know, I ain't gonna take like I'm the only one doing his whole support system.
• 1:04:17
SPEAKER_02: You know, you see a lot of people who just they family just cast them off.
• 1:04:22
SPEAKER_02: Anybody, you know, dealing with all that because your only hope for help is other people.
• 1:04:29
SPEAKER_02: Like I said, your decision making is affected.
• 1:04:32
  SPEAKER_02: That's the whole point.
• 1:04:33
SPEAKER_02: You know what I mean?
• 1:04:33
SPEAKER_02: So you even if you want to, in your mind, it's gonna be hard for you to do what you need to do.
• 1:04:39
SPEAKER_02: So you do need like you need people around you to take it serious and do what you need to be done.
• 1:04:48
SPEAKER_02: Because if that don't happen, you you through.
• 1:04:52
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you know what I'm saying?
• 1:04:53
  SPEAKER_02: Like I said, it it's it's so crazy.
• 1:04:56
SPEAKER_02: You know, if your ankle broke, your mind good, you just know, okay, let me go to the doctor, let me get my ankle uh uh uh fixed, you know what I'm saying?
• 1:05:06
SPEAKER_02: But when your brain hurt, that's the central computer system, like to your car, you know what I'm saying, or whatever.
• 1:05:14
SPEAKER_02: That's where it started at.
• 1:05:16
SPEAKER_02: So if you if you're not right right there all the way, you can't even help yourself for real.
• 1:05:24
SPEAKER_02: It's a tricky thing, but you know, it's it's it's when you got people around you love you, you can get through.
• 1:05:29
SPEAKER_02: I know some uh plenty of people who have gone through that at his age or even older and have come out of it and and doing successful things and living a regular life.
• 1:05:40
SPEAKER_02: You know what I'm saying?
• 1:05:41
  SPEAKER_02: Plenty of people.
• 1:05:43
SPEAKER_02: Like his uh one of the one of the job he worked at, the the lady been knowing his mom and the family forever.
• 1:05:51
SPEAKER_02: She had the exact same kind of situation.
• 1:05:54
SPEAKER_02: And she's told me her family made her get help and her friends, and she said she had.
• 1:06:00
SPEAKER_02: Hated everybody at that time for them doing that.
• 1:06:03
SPEAKER_02: And but it got her through.
• 1:06:04
SPEAKER_02: And like now, she got successful businesses.
• 1:06:08
SPEAKER_02: She owned uh all types of businesses and everything.
• 1:06:12
SPEAKER_02: And I would have never knew that about her.
• 1:06:14
SPEAKER_02: I learned this after dealing with going on with my son because she loved my son.
• 1:06:18
SPEAKER_02: My son worked at her place.
• 1:06:20
SPEAKER_02: But I knew her from just passing.
• 1:06:22
SPEAKER_02: And she was always, we were living in four seasons.
• 1:06:25
SPEAKER_02: She was always, you know, six, you know, had money, had success, had a business.
• 1:06:30
SPEAKER_02: Unless she, until she told me that, I would have never knew she went through that.
• 1:06:35
SPEAKER_02: So, you know, it just it just it just showed you know you can come out of it if you got people around you.
• 1:06:41
SPEAKER_02: You know what I'm saying?
• 1:06:42
SPEAKER_02: That love and support you, and um, you know, gonna be there and know what you got, you know, know what you need.
• 1:06:50
SPEAKER_05: Now he don't he don't he don't still work there?
• 1:06:54
SPEAKER_02: No, he ain't been working there.
• 1:06:55
SPEAKER_02: Uh he he he he he was there for a while, but the thing about it is when stuff got kind of kind of really bad mentally, he kind of checked out a little bit from from working there, but it's like it's he didn't do nothing wrong, so he's been there for a while.
• 1:07:13
SPEAKER_02: It's the kind of job he can always go back to.
• 1:07:15
  SPEAKER_05: Like I was saying.
• 1:07:16
SPEAKER_05: Then especially by her, if she if y'all made her aware of what he's going through, she Oh yeah, she knows she check on me all she check on him all the time, text me.
• 1:07:24
  SPEAKER_02: How your son doing?
• 1:07:26
  SPEAKER_02: That's a good place for him, ain't it?
• 1:07:28
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, she might be at work, and that might be an addition to her to his community, to his village.
• 1:07:33
SPEAKER_05: So where now he can go to work and he can still get that sense of independence.
• 1:07:38
  SPEAKER_02: Exactly.
• 1:07:39
SPEAKER_02: Yep, yep, it's a blessing to have a job like that at your disposal.
• 1:07:43
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, no, she she check on him every uh periodically, every few weeks.
• 1:07:47
  SPEAKER_02: She'll text me, how's Harold doing?
• 1:07:50
  SPEAKER_02: And I love Harold.
• 1:07:51
SPEAKER_02: And because he be, he, like I said, he it just really be the moments, because in between the moments, he's regular, do well, good, you know, part real personal boy at the job.
• 1:08:00
SPEAKER_02: You know what I mean?
• 1:08:01
SPEAKER_02: Everybody like him, ain't no, you know what I'm saying?
• 1:08:04
  SPEAKER_02: It's not like a daily thing.
• 1:08:06
SPEAKER_02: It's just every now and then, you know what I'm saying, it get it just get it get overwhelmed.
• 1:08:13
SPEAKER_02: And that's why you need that in-between therapy, you know what I'm saying, maybe even little meds, whatever.
• 1:08:21
SPEAKER_02: Whatever they say, you know what I'm saying, to get you over the hump until you don't need nothing, you know.
• 1:08:27
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
• 1:08:27
  SPEAKER_02: So you hear it.
• 1:08:29
SPEAKER_05: In addition to the meds, look for like some natural shit.
• 1:08:32
SPEAKER_02: Oh, you know, I do, you know that.
• 1:08:34
SPEAKER_02: I I'm only I'm only um saying that because initially you you kind of do, you know, I'm against all that.
• 1:08:43
SPEAKER_02: But no, I'm with you.
• 1:08:44
SPEAKER_02: That's that I've already been looking it up.
• 1:08:46
SPEAKER_05: Like he might go outside, grab a dandelion, and and snap back to her.
• 1:08:51
SPEAKER_05: You know what I'm saying?
• 1:08:51
SPEAKER_02: So what I planned on doing, I'm glad you brought that up.
• 1:08:55
SPEAKER_02: What I planned on doing was when um when we when we when they do prescribe on something, I'm gonna do my research on what does that naturally.
• 1:09:05
SPEAKER_02: You know how we do.
• 1:09:06
  SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
• 1:09:07
SPEAKER_02: And then and then transition to that.
• 1:09:11
SPEAKER_02: You know what I'm saying?
• 1:09:12
SPEAKER_02: So you right on point.
• 1:09:13
  SPEAKER_02: That's exactly what I'm on.
• 1:09:15
SPEAKER_02: I I I I don't believe like I believe in meds to a certain extent, like if you have to, but I it's always something natural out there that does the same thing.
• 1:09:25
  SPEAKER_02: I believe that.
• 1:09:28
  SPEAKER_02: Yep, yep.
• 1:09:29
  SPEAKER_02: So that's my plan.
• 1:09:30
SPEAKER_02: So you definitely on point with that.
• 1:09:31
SPEAKER_02: That that's definitely what my plan was.
• 1:09:33
SPEAKER_02: Whatever it is prescribed, however that goes, I'm gonna definitely find a natural substance that can uh take the place of that.
• 1:09:45
  SPEAKER_02: Yep.
• 1:09:45
SPEAKER_02: Until we just don't need nothing at all.
• 1:09:47
  SPEAKER_02: So yeah, y'all.
• 1:09:49
SPEAKER_02: We uh we about to close.
• 1:09:51
SPEAKER_02: This is a good show.
• 1:09:52
SPEAKER_02: This is this is a good, good, good way to end the show.
• 1:09:55
  SPEAKER_02: Who is this?
• 1:09:56
  SPEAKER_02: Appreciate your let's see.
• 1:09:57
  SPEAKER_02: Always got you flow.
• 1:09:59
  SPEAKER_02: Letter is coming.
• 1:10:00
  SPEAKER_02: Thank you, Surrey.
• 1:10:01
SPEAKER_02: Uh, grandma Kathy says, let King know that it's okay to find a good counselor.
• 1:10:06
SPEAKER_02: It may take a few to try out.
• 1:10:08
SPEAKER_02: Let him know he is just trying them out till he finds a good one.
• 1:10:12
SPEAKER_02: Yep, good way to put it, Grandma Kathy.
• 1:10:16
SPEAKER_02: Um, anybody else got anything that I missed when I was out here?
• 1:10:20
SPEAKER_02: Uh, 18 is just a suggested age.
• 1:10:22
SPEAKER_02: Some people do not mature mentally until well after.
• 1:10:25
  SPEAKER_02: That's true.
• 1:10:26
SPEAKER_02: And in the interim, you want to make sure that you're helping them help make healthy decisions for sure, y'all.
• 1:10:32
SPEAKER_02: I appreciate all the comments.
• 1:10:34
SPEAKER_02: Lazy Baby says sound like a plan, Flo.
• 1:10:36
SPEAKER_02: Definitely sounds like a plan.
• 1:10:38
SPEAKER_05: And then at least we're talking about that durable power of attorney, too.
• 1:10:43
SPEAKER_02: It's important for him to sign.
• 1:10:45
SPEAKER_02: It's so you can protect him from getting railroaded by purple.
• 1:10:49
SPEAKER_02: And see, the problem is he's not, that's why I'm going through the court.
• 1:10:53
SPEAKER_02: He ain't gonna sign it.
• 1:10:54
SPEAKER_02: Like, that's the that's where he at with it.
• 1:10:58
SPEAKER_02: And he's not like uh like real like mean or aggressive about it.
• 1:11:04
SPEAKER_02: He just ain't gonna do it.
• 1:11:05
SPEAKER_02: You know what I'm saying?
• 1:11:06
SPEAKER_02: Like, he ain't he don't throw tantrums, but he just be like, you be like, you're gonna sign this, and he'd be like, nah, I want to stay in control of my own whatever.
• 1:11:16
SPEAKER_02: You know, he got that, you know shoot.
• 1:11:18
SPEAKER_02: I mean, we all I had the same mentality.
• 1:11:21
SPEAKER_02: You know what I'm saying?
• 1:11:22
SPEAKER_02: When I was that age, so I get it.
• 1:11:24
SPEAKER_02: But that's why, and I appreciate that, Elise, because you dare, you, you absolutely right.
• 1:11:29
SPEAKER_02: But um, that is why I have to go through the court.
• 1:11:33
SPEAKER_02: Because he ain't because if if he was willing to sign something, I could get this power of attorney and custody just from him signing.
• 1:11:40
SPEAKER_02: You know what I'm saying?
• 1:11:41
SPEAKER_02: I ain't even really gotta go through all this, but he ain't gonna do that.
• 1:11:44
  SPEAKER_02: Yep, so that's why we're here.
• 1:11:46
  SPEAKER_02: But I appreciate the advice, y'all.
• 1:11:48
SPEAKER_02: I want everybody to have a great Kevin Kevin Trudeau book is a great one.
• 1:11:53
SPEAKER_02: Uh, what pharmaceuticals company don't want you to know.
• 1:11:56
