- 0:00Speaker 1: Two college football games, one baseball game, 16 NHL games,
- 0:07Speaker 1: and the Prez. Art DeCesar, Joe Ranieri, you're watching the
- 0:11Speaker 1: Best Betting Show Ever. It's Tuesday. Welcome, everybody. Oh, what
- 0:16Speaker 1: a fun game last night was exactly as called on
- 0:21Speaker 1: the show by me. And, of course, by us. We
- 0:25Speaker 1: had the Bills in our circa pick. What's happening, boys?
- 0:29Speaker 1: Art the Caesar, you enjoy the game? Quite the ending.
- 0:33Speaker 1: I literally said that game's going to smell like an
- 0:35Speaker 1: under until the fourth quarter hits.
- 0:38Speaker 2: That was an incredible game, an incredible watch. Josh Allen
- 0:43Speaker 2: is clearly the best player on the planet. I don't know.
- 0:50Speaker 1: It's either he does, he either has a Brett Favre
- 0:54Speaker 1: brain cramp, Or he's the best quarterback, maybe. Well, I
- 0:59Speaker 1: would say he's currently the best quarterback in the league.
- 1:03Speaker 2: Well, yeah, I would agree with that. He also, like,
- 1:06Speaker 2: his scrambling is... Listen, I know there were great scramblers.
- 1:10Speaker 2: You call that scrambling? Well, I'm just saying, like, Vic and,
- 1:14Speaker 2: you know, Randall Cunningham, quarterbacks that can really.
- 1:16Speaker 1: None of that stuff.
- 1:17Speaker 2: No, the way he does it is, like, nothing I've
- 1:20Speaker 2: ever seen.
- 1:21Speaker 1: Yeah, like, Jamal Lewis met Christian Okoya and Jerome Battis.
- 1:26Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:27Speaker 1: Joe, how good is Josh Allen? And look, Matt Stafford
- 1:30Speaker 1: looked amazing. The final drive before overtime was clinical.
- 1:37Speaker 3: Oh, like I said yesterday, Prez, the idea that the
- 1:41Speaker 3: Rams are as good as everyone thinks they are and
- 1:43Speaker 3: the Bills, because of their defense, is as bad.
- 1:46Speaker 4: As everyone thinks they are. Yeah, no.
- 1:49Speaker 3: Once again, the overreaction was ridiculous to having Aaron Donald back.
- 1:54Speaker 3: How did Aaron Donald do stopping him run at all?
- 1:58Speaker 4: Great? No?
- 1:59Speaker 3: The defense that was supposed to be so upgraded and
- 2:01Speaker 3: was supposed to be Super Bowl champs?
- 2:03Speaker 4: Keep in mind, both those.
- 2:05Speaker 3: Teams went into that game as the favorites to win
- 2:08Speaker 3: the Super Bowl. What in the world did you see
- 2:11Speaker 3: last night that led you to believe either of those.
- 2:14Speaker 4: Two teams can last the season?
- 2:17Speaker 3: If that's how you're going to play Josh Allen, Joe Brady,
- 2:21Speaker 3: he'll be done by week 10. You're going to get
- 2:23Speaker 3: him absolutely killed. Congrats on a win. You're going to
- 2:26Speaker 3: get him killed. You got to figure something else out there, Buffalo.
- 2:31Speaker 3: It cannot be the Josh Allen show week in and
- 2:34Speaker 3: week out this year. He will have nothing left if
- 2:37Speaker 3: he's even able to walk. Come postseason time.
- 2:42Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, that's a fair point, Joe, but they
- 2:45Speaker 1: really don't have much else. James Cook's a great runner,
- 2:49Speaker 1: but can you trust the guy? Their wide receiving core
- 2:52Speaker 1: is not exactly world-class. And we watched Dawson Knox drop
- 2:56Speaker 1: passes that were right in his hands. You know, I...
- 3:01Speaker 1: It's why it's like hard rock.
- 3:02Speaker 4: Is special teams part of the game?
- 3:04Speaker 3: I'm curious because the Super Bowl champion favorites in the
- 3:08Speaker 3: Rams can't cover anybody on a kickoff or make a
- 3:12Speaker 3: freaking field goal when it's amazing. And that's our favorite
- 3:15Speaker 3: to win the Super Bowl? Are we kidding?
- 3:17Speaker 1: It's not my favorite.
- 3:18Speaker 4: It's the market's favorite.
- 3:21Speaker 1: Well, the market also thinks Drake writes good music and
- 3:24Speaker 1: Big Macs are hamburgers. So who really cares? Art the Caesar.
- 3:29Speaker 4: Somebody's buying them. Yeah, idiots.
- 3:33Speaker 1: Should we do a rant?
- 3:34Speaker 4: My point. That's my point.
- 3:37Speaker 3: If that's the two best teams in the NFL, I'm sorry, guys.
- 3:41Speaker 3: We've missed the boat here somewhere along the line because
- 3:45Speaker 3: neither of those two teams are sustainable the way they
- 3:47Speaker 3: play the game.
- 3:49Speaker 1: Let's hijack our right side of the show and ask
- 3:53Speaker 1: the following question. Who is the best team in the NFL?
- 3:57Speaker 1: I'll go with the San Francisco 49ers. Art?
- 4:02Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, right now it would have to be
- 4:03Speaker 2: San Francisco, of course. Yeah.
- 4:07Speaker 1: And Joe, who do you think?
- 4:08Speaker 4: Minnesota.
- 4:11Speaker 1: You literally called them a fraud a week ago. 5-0.
- 4:16Speaker 3: And they have a Super Bowl winning defense, unlike the
- 4:20Speaker 3: two that we just watched last night.
- 4:23Speaker 1: Well, they're going to be playing each other in November,
- 4:25Speaker 1: I think, on Sunday night.
- 4:28Speaker 2: Yep.
- 4:28Speaker 1: San Fran, Minnesota. Yeah. And Santran's schedule gets easier. They
- 4:32Speaker 1: might be coming into that game undefeated. We'll see what happens. Guys,
- 4:37Speaker 1: let us know your thoughts. Who's the best team in
- 4:40Speaker 1: the NFL right now? I would pick Santran in the NFC,
- 4:49Speaker 1: and I would actually pick Buffalo in the AFC. You
- 4:53Speaker 1: have an AFC team, Joe?
- 4:58Speaker 3: I do not think Buffalo is sustainable the way they
- 5:01Speaker 3: play the game right now.
- 5:02Speaker 4: That's fair.
- 5:03Speaker 3: And I don't think Joe Brady is smart enough to
- 5:05Speaker 3: understand it. So I would say likely New England, unfortunately,
- 5:09Speaker 3: based upon what they've got coming up, is likely the
- 5:13Speaker 3: best all-around team in the AFC.
- 5:16Speaker 1: Art?
- 5:19Speaker 2: To be different, too, I would say Jacksonville.
- 5:23Speaker 1: What?
- 5:26Speaker 4: What? Another.
- 5:27Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 5:28Speaker 1: I think they're a good team. But, man, if you
- 5:31Speaker 1: don't kick a field goal in the situations they were in, I, I, I, I, I, I, I. Okay.
- 5:40Speaker 1: Let us know your thoughts, guys. Welcome to the best
- 5:43Speaker 1: betting show ever. If you've never watched this show, it's fun.
- 5:46Speaker 1: It's entertaining. And we give you guys winning information. Art's
- 5:51Speaker 1: going to give out sharp bets where the money is
- 5:53Speaker 1: going today. There's a lot of games today. We got
- 5:56Speaker 1: our parlay of the day. We won our college football parlay.
- 6:01Speaker 1: We won our NFL parlay. And we would have won
- 6:04Speaker 1: our parlay yesterday, except Joe picked the Dodgers. However, for
- 6:10Speaker 1: some reason, it was my fault, even though Joe picked
- 6:16Speaker 1: the Dodgers. Both Joe and Art agreed on text that, yeah.
- 6:19Speaker 4: It was.
- 6:20Speaker 3: Like Art mushed your Cleveland Browns terrible pick on Sunday.
- 6:25Speaker 4: He did.
- 6:25Speaker 3: Yeah, you destroyed the Dodgers last night by mentioning Yanomoto
- 6:29Speaker 3: during your NHL rundown a hundred times.
- 6:34Speaker 2: All right.
- 6:35Speaker 1: Okay, so with that said, would you like me to
- 6:39Speaker 1: mush Cleveland or Tampa Bay today, Joe?
- 6:42Speaker 4: I'm not saying a word. Nope, not playing that game.
- 6:45Speaker 1: Okay. Art, give us your sharp bets.
- 6:49Speaker 2: Absolutely. Listen, you mentioned it, Prez, the NHL, the frozen
- 6:52Speaker 2: frenzy where every team plays. Three sides that they're on
- 6:56Speaker 2: in the NHL, they're on the Devils, Kraken, and your Oilers.
- 7:00Speaker 2: The two college football games, they took Middle Tennessee State
- 7:04Speaker 2: at plus two and a half. That's now down to
- 7:07Speaker 2: plus one. And they took under in the Jacksonville State game,
- 7:11Speaker 2: under 45. And you would think it'd be an overflow
- 7:15Speaker 2: of raised money today because obviously they lost game one,
- 7:17Speaker 2: but Not as much as you would think. Some of
- 7:19Speaker 2: the guys I talked to behind the counter in Vegas said, yeah, we're,
- 7:23Speaker 2: we're seeing raise money, but it's not what it, what
- 7:27Speaker 2: it should be because I think people are a little
- 7:29Speaker 2: scared off by Peralta being the starter. And obviously Cleveland's
- 7:33Speaker 2: going with, I guess you would call it their ace, um,
- 7:37Speaker 2: and Parker Mezek. So, you know, it's not overwhelming the
- 7:41Speaker 2: way you would think, but that could change.
- 7:45Speaker 1: Joe, anything?
- 7:46Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 7:46Speaker 3: I mean, listen, it's, uh, Get ready for the Cleveland
- 7:51Speaker 3: Guardians against the Milwaukee Brewers and maybe the lowest rated
- 7:54Speaker 3: World Series ever in the history of the game.
- 7:57Speaker 4: So it should be fun to watch.
- 7:59Speaker 1: Yeah, well, you know what? It's good for the sport
- 8:03Speaker 1: from my perspective. Anything that keeps the LA Dodgers out
- 8:08Speaker 1: of the World Series is good for the sport, especially
- 8:13Speaker 1: with a strike looming. Or a lockout, however you want
- 8:16Speaker 1: to call it. Okay, boys, our parlay of the day.
- 8:20Speaker 1: I will go first. I'm going with the Vegas Golden Knights.
- 8:24Speaker 1: They lost yesterday, and I told you guys if they
- 8:26Speaker 1: lost yesterday, I was coming right back. Well, they're playing tonight.
- 8:30Speaker 1: They're playing Nashville. I think Nashville is a horrible hockey team.
- 8:33Speaker 1: Bottom five. And Vegas, every year, their first 10 games,
- 8:39Speaker 1: like 8-2, 9-1. So I'm going with Vegas at minus 125.
- 8:42Speaker 4: Art?
- 8:45Speaker 2: There are six and a halfs out there, so give
- 8:47Speaker 2: me the Jets and the Wild under.
- 8:50Speaker 1: There you go.
- 8:51Speaker 2: Joe?
- 8:54Speaker 3: I'm just laughing because you do realize the Dodgers not
- 8:57Speaker 3: winning the World Series doesn't.
- 8:59Speaker 4: Help your case there, right? No, it doesn't.
- 9:01Speaker 3: You do understand that you need the Dodgers to win
- 9:05Speaker 3: for anything to change in baseball. You're saying they don't
- 9:08Speaker 3: win and we're going to have two small market teams
- 9:10Speaker 3: when half the budgets actually play for a World Series.
- 9:14Speaker 4: That doesn't help. the cause here that's no it.
- 9:17Speaker 1: Doesn't but you know what joe you know what you
- 9:20Speaker 1: need them to win i could care less my priority
- 9:25Speaker 1: is not to have.
- 9:27Speaker 3: If you're gonna say the dodgers are ruining baseball well
- 9:30Speaker 3: then you dodgers need to win the world series for
- 9:33Speaker 3: that statement to be.
- 9:34Speaker 1: True otherwise fair enough.
- 9:37Speaker 4: The dodgers are gonna be like what are you blaming
- 9:38Speaker 4: us for we didn't win.
- 9:40Speaker 1: Yeah, for the first time in 20 years.
- 9:42Speaker 2: Our $ 900 million man's hitting 170.
- 9:45Speaker 4: Who's the real loser there? So I'm just saying.
- 9:48Speaker 1: Well said, Joe.
- 9:48Speaker 4: We need him to win.
- 9:49Speaker 1: Well said. You going to give up your parlay leg
- 9:52Speaker 1: now or no?
- 9:53Speaker 4: Yeah, Middle Tennessee State.
- 9:54Speaker 1: Okay, there you go. That is our parlay of the day. Okay,
- 9:58Speaker 1: before we get going, let's take care. of some business. Art,
- 10:01Speaker 1: why don't you go first?
- 10:04Speaker 2: Yeah, absolutely. Listen, this is one of our fun days,
- 10:06Speaker 2: $ 5 Tuesday, Customer Appreciation Day. Got a bunch of stuff
- 10:09Speaker 2: up at my page. Got a bunch of free picks
- 10:12Speaker 2: as well. You can always go check out, see what
- 10:15Speaker 2: I'm doing, wt.buzz.com.
- 10:18Speaker 1: There you go. Joe, I've got an NHL total bet
- 10:23Speaker 1: for tonight. It's my first 4% NHL play of the year.
- 10:28Speaker 1: And yes, it is a total. I had a total
- 10:30Speaker 1: last night. We had the under in the Ottawa Senators game.
- 10:34Speaker 1: It really wasn't close. Easy winner there. I am now
- 10:38Speaker 1: 6-2 to start my NHL year. 4-1 in my totals.
- 10:43Speaker 1: As I said, this is my first 4% total of
- 10:46Speaker 1: the season. As well, I have a 5% college football total,
- 10:53Speaker 1: and it's up right this very second, and it's a
- 10:59Speaker 1: Friday game. So head over and check that out. 70%, 68.8%
- 11:03Speaker 1: in college football total since the beginning of last season.
- 11:12Speaker 1: And rolling in my 5% plays, so check that out.
- 11:16Speaker 1: I'm in a great mood right now, boys. I'm seeing
- 11:20Speaker 1: things so well in hockey, and all my total bets,
- 11:24Speaker 1: I'm just grooving. What do you got going, Joe?
- 11:28Speaker 3: One of the college football games is up for $ 5,
- 11:33Speaker 3: and we'll have the baseball play ready to go here
- 11:36Speaker 3: shortly as well, Prez.
- 11:37Speaker 1: Beautiful. I'm 4-1 in the baseball playoffs. Art, you're having
- 11:42Speaker 1: a great one, right?
- 11:43Speaker 3: I am.
- 11:44Speaker 2: The Dodgers killed me yesterday, but I'm still, I think,
- 11:48Speaker 2: now over 60. I was over 70%. I think I'm
- 11:50Speaker 2: now like 63%.
- 11:51Speaker 1: Okay. And that's it for business. CFB Week 7 look-aheads. Art,
- 12:01Speaker 1: I'll go to you.
- 12:04Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, listen, just to kind of reiterate some
- 12:07Speaker 2: of the stuff we talked about yesterday, obviously Bama and
- 12:10Speaker 2: BYU taking money. You know, it's funny, some of the
- 12:13Speaker 2: early stuff that happens Sunday night into Monday, you get
- 12:16Speaker 2: some of those early moves and then it almost kind
- 12:19Speaker 2: of breaks Tuesday. And then by the time we get
- 12:22Speaker 2: back on the show Thursday, I'll see even heavier moves.
- 12:25Speaker 2: So obviously, you know, I'll always have a little 30-40
- 12:29Speaker 2: minute segment where I give out the full moves, but
- 12:32Speaker 2: there's really nothing more to really report than what I
- 12:34Speaker 2: did yesterday.
- 12:37Speaker 1: Joe, anything you're looking at?
- 12:40Speaker 3: Yeah, still three and a half with Ohio State, so
- 12:44Speaker 3: I am guessing the public money is eventually going to
- 12:47Speaker 3: come in again on Ohio State, since nobody outside of
- 12:51Speaker 3: Notre Dame, Ohio State might be the most publicly bet
- 12:54Speaker 3: team there is, and with good reason, but If we
- 12:57Speaker 3: see that line move towards Indiana, it should be a
- 12:59Speaker 3: pretty good indicator, no, Art?
- 13:03Speaker 2: Yeah, I would think so. You know what, though, Joe?
- 13:05Speaker 2: I think Indiana, after their run last year and the
- 13:09Speaker 2: way people just love their coach, Cignetti, Indiana, now, they're
- 13:14Speaker 2: not Notre Dame, Alabama, USC, Ohio State. They're not that
- 13:18Speaker 2: type of a public team, but they became very public.
- 13:21Speaker 2: You know, people were making money off them last year.
- 13:23Speaker 3: They almost lost to Nebraska on Saturday, and people will
- 13:27Speaker 3: remember that.
- 13:28Speaker 2: Yes, and they're 1-5 against the spread.
- 13:30Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly.
- 13:31Speaker 2: They've only covered one of their six games, so they
- 13:34Speaker 2: haven't been good to betters this year, you know, unless
- 13:37Speaker 2: you're putting them in money line parlays, and, you know,
- 13:39Speaker 2: that's not really anything to note. Especially the public. Yeah, 100%. So,
- 13:44Speaker 2: you know, the public did really love them last year
- 13:47Speaker 2: because they made them, you know, they made the public
- 13:49Speaker 2: money last year, not so much this year.
- 13:52Speaker 1: I mean, look, you know, the word for me is fumes.
- 13:55Speaker 1: Indiana is literally playing on fumes. Last two weeks, 29-23
- 14:00Speaker 1: win over Northwestern and a 20-17 escape against Nebraska, who
- 14:05Speaker 1: totally outgained them. Really feels like Indiana is going to
- 14:09Speaker 1: come crashing down to earth. The total is low, which
- 14:12Speaker 1: is why that hook is important. But, man, I like
- 14:15Speaker 1: Ohio State here.
- 14:16Speaker 2: I do, too.
- 14:18Speaker 3: If that goes to three, it's not the public. So
- 14:22Speaker 3: then you know where that line is going. If it
- 14:24Speaker 3: goes to four, well, you're not going to get any
- 14:27Speaker 3: resistance there. But that should be one of the biggest
- 14:29Speaker 3: handled games in the world. And I can't remember the
- 14:32Speaker 3: last time Miami was over a three-touchdown favorite against Florida State.
- 14:37Speaker 4: I cannot remember. And it's going to keep going, I think.
- 14:41Speaker 1: Well, I was on Florida State last week for one
- 14:43Speaker 1: of my losses. What the hell has happened? And the Gators. Like, hey, well.
- 14:49Speaker 1: Things are changing in college football. You know, Indiana.
- 14:55Speaker 3: Crazy number. That's a crazy number for that rivalry. And
- 15:00Speaker 3: I can't remember the last time. I mean, it's got
- 15:02Speaker 3: to be. Miami wasn't great about five years ago. So
- 15:08Speaker 3: maybe in that era there. And it was always Florida
- 15:12Speaker 3: State that seemed to have the leg up. But my goodness,
- 15:14Speaker 3: this is an obnoxious time.
- 15:15Speaker 2: The only time in, I mean, 30 years ago when
- 15:18Speaker 2: Florida State was rolling in the mid-90s, and the Miami
- 15:22Speaker 2: program was, like, dead. Maybe Florida State was that type
- 15:26Speaker 2: of favorite, but even still, three touchdowns in a rivalry game?
- 15:30Speaker 2: This is FSU Super Bowl. Their season's lost. This is it.
- 15:34Speaker 4: This is the coach.
- 15:35Speaker 3: They've got a bye coming up next week and a
- 15:38Speaker 3: week after.
- 15:39Speaker 4: This is it. Could be all over there.
- 15:42Speaker 1: I'm going to blow your mind. When was the last
- 15:45Speaker 1: time Miami was favored by more than three touchdowns against
- 15:49Speaker 1: Florida State? Two damn years ago.
- 15:52Speaker 3: Yeah, I was going to say, because they fell off
- 15:55Speaker 3: after 2021.
- 15:56Speaker 4: 2024.
- 15:57Speaker 3: No, 2021, Florida State didn't play in the national championship
- 16:03Speaker 3: because their quarterback got hurt, and they didn't put him
- 16:06Speaker 3: in the national championship game, and it's been awful for
- 16:09Speaker 3: Florida State ever since then, so... And Cristobal being a
- 16:13Speaker 3: 21 and a half point favorite is interesting. Did they
- 16:16Speaker 3: cover or no?
- 16:18Speaker 1: I don't have, oh yeah, they won 36-14. So yes,
- 16:24Speaker 1: they covered by one point.
- 16:28Speaker 4: One point cover. Yeah.
- 16:30Speaker 1: Yeah. And it was a huge line move. It came
- 16:32Speaker 1: out at minus 16 and a half and it was
- 16:35Speaker 1: bet up to minus 21 and a half. It did
- 16:38Speaker 1: close at minus 21. They did cover. It did happen
- 16:43Speaker 1: again in 2013.
- 16:46Speaker 3: Miami was the favorite or Florida State was the favorite?
- 16:52Speaker 1: FSU was the favorite.
- 16:54Speaker 2: That was the year they won the national championship.
- 16:56Speaker 4: Yeah, that was the national, right.
- 16:59Speaker 3: That was Jameis and his crab legs.
- 17:02Speaker 1: There you go, guys. Okay. NFL week six totals. Art,
- 17:11Speaker 1: I'll go to you first. Anything jumping out at you?
- 17:14Speaker 2: Yeah, the one game that I circled, and it's gone
- 17:17Speaker 2: up like half a point, is Saints and Giants, over 45.5 now.
- 17:23Speaker 2: Both teams are 3-2 to the over this year. Giant
- 17:26Speaker 2: games just seem to be wacky. Obviously, last week was
- 17:30Speaker 2: a wacky game. I think the Saints offense is going
- 17:33Speaker 2: to put up some points against the Giants, so I
- 17:37Speaker 2: could see that being in the range of 24-21. which
- 17:40Speaker 2: puts you right at the total. I like the over
- 17:42Speaker 2: in that game.
- 17:44Speaker 1: Joe, we saw two totals this past week at 54,
- 17:47Speaker 1: 54 and a half, both in the Arizona-Detroit game and
- 17:50Speaker 1: in last night's Rams-Bills game. Both flew over the total.
- 17:55Speaker 1: This week we've got San Fran and Washington at 50
- 18:00Speaker 1: and a half, Dallas and Green Bay at 53 and
- 18:02Speaker 1: a half, and Arizona and L.A. at 52 and a half.
- 18:07Speaker 1: I'll tell you guys right now, I like the over
- 18:10Speaker 1: in the San Fran-Washington game. I like the over in
- 18:13Speaker 1: the Dallas-Green Bay game. I don't love the over in
- 18:16Speaker 1: the Rams-Arizona game. So that's me sort of looking at
- 18:21Speaker 1: the three highest totals. I think the best play there,
- 18:25Speaker 1: if the weather is good, is the Green Bay-Dallas over
- 18:30Speaker 1: out of those three high totals. Joe, any thoughts for you?
- 18:34Speaker 4: Under Kansas City and the Chargers.
- 18:36Speaker 1: 42 and a half.
- 18:40Speaker 3: I don't think the Chargers are scoring at all. I
- 18:44Speaker 3: don't think they're scoring at all. I think it's over
- 18:47Speaker 3: for the Chargers. They got no offensive line. They can't
- 18:50Speaker 3: protect Herbert. And they can't run the ball. And you're
- 18:53Speaker 3: not running the ball in Kansas City. And Kansas City
- 18:56Speaker 3: will be more than happy to extend that game. Just
- 18:58Speaker 3: hand off right, hand off left, and run it right
- 19:01Speaker 3: down the throat of the Chargers.
- 19:03Speaker 1: Yep. I like that call a lot, Joe. And we
- 19:07Speaker 1: are seeing it being bet down. Art, what are you
- 19:09Speaker 1: hearing out there? 43 and a half, there's now 42
- 19:12Speaker 1: and a halves available.
- 19:16Speaker 2: Yeah, when we did the early looks yesterday, I think
- 19:19Speaker 2: that was one of the four or five NFL games
- 19:22Speaker 2: that I talked about where the two big moves to
- 19:25Speaker 2: the under yesterday so far in the NFL were the
- 19:28Speaker 2: Kansas City game and the Seattle game. Both have seen
- 19:31Speaker 2: significant under money.
- 19:32Speaker 1: Yeah, this Seattle game is fascinating to me because the
- 19:36Speaker 1: same can be said about Denver, Joe. Denver is going
- 19:38Speaker 1: to really struggle to score. They are lack consistency. And
- 19:43Speaker 1: now you have Seattle with their main wide receiver injured.
- 19:47Speaker 1: Their running back is injured. There's no way Sam McDonald
- 19:53Speaker 1: is airing the ball out if he doesn't have to.
- 19:55Speaker 1: I think the under is the right play there too, Joe.
- 20:02Speaker 3: I think the problem is with Seattle is they can't
- 20:05Speaker 3: run the football. And you're not going to run the
- 20:07Speaker 3: ball on the Broncos, which means... turnovers could very well
- 20:11Speaker 3: become part of this game in short fields, which is
- 20:14Speaker 3: the only thing that would scare me, but I don't
- 20:16Speaker 3: see the Broncos offensively.
- 20:18Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 20:19Speaker 4: Doing anything, but I could see Sam.
- 20:21Speaker 3: Donald with three picks because they have no running game
- 20:25Speaker 3: and they're going to have to throw the ball.
- 20:26Speaker 4: That would be a problem. Yup. There you go. Okay.
- 20:30Speaker 1: MLB playoffs. There's one game, a gentleman, the microphone is yours.
- 20:37Speaker 4: Well, I mean, there's, Two series.
- 20:40Speaker 3: So we just watched the Brewers go up two games
- 20:43Speaker 3: and on the Dodgers last night. Now they travel to L.A.
- 20:48Speaker 3: Otani looks like a shell of himself. You know, I
- 20:52Speaker 3: don't know that Snell's the answer here, Art.
- 20:54Speaker 4: I really don't. Yeah.
- 20:56Speaker 2: You know, we get into an interesting point here, right?
- 20:58Speaker 2: Like if you like Tampa still, now's the time to
- 21:01Speaker 2: bet them on the money line. Or for the series,
- 21:04Speaker 2: because you're going to get a plus price. If you
- 21:07Speaker 2: believe the Dodgers can come back, that's the same thing.
- 21:10Speaker 2: Or do you now bet the Brewers to win the
- 21:12Speaker 2: World Series, still at plus money, because if they're in
- 21:16Speaker 2: the World Series, they're the favorite regardless of who they play,
- 21:19Speaker 2: in my mind. I think it would be close with
- 21:21Speaker 2: Tampa if it was Tampa, but I still think Milwaukee
- 21:24Speaker 2: would be the favorite.
- 21:25Speaker 4: I agree.
- 21:26Speaker 3: I also think that Tampa and the Guardians... Listen, the Guardians...
- 21:32Speaker 3: They didn't score anything against Rasmussen. They scored against that
- 21:34Speaker 3: middle relief, which is always an issue there. So I
- 21:39Speaker 3: do think that Tampa is still the right side in
- 21:42Speaker 3: this series here, although Cleveland has turned up maybe, and
- 21:46Speaker 3: we see it a lot, or it could be the
- 21:48Speaker 3: right team at the right time getting.
- 21:50Speaker 4: Hot, and Ramirez is going. Here we go.
- 21:54Speaker 3: So I think it should be actually a pretty decent
- 21:56Speaker 3: series here moving forward.
- 21:59Speaker 2: Yeah, and listen, I don't want to call the Dodgers dead.
- 22:02Speaker 2: They are in trouble, though.
- 22:04Speaker 4: They are in trouble.
- 22:05Speaker 2: You know, I mean, obviously we know they have to
- 22:07Speaker 2: win game three because only one team has blown a
- 22:10Speaker 2: 3-0 lead. We know who that is. We won't mention
- 22:12Speaker 2: the team. But yeah, I mean, listen, Tampa has to
- 22:16Speaker 2: win as well because they don't want to go to
- 22:18Speaker 2: Cleveland down 0-2. But I still think we're going to
- 22:20Speaker 2: get a 6-7 game series in that Cleveland and Tampa series.
- 22:25Speaker 4: I don't see them benching Otani, even though they should. No.
- 22:29Speaker 3: Him and Will Smith need to go elsewhere, but Roberts
- 22:33Speaker 3: is going to go with his guys.
- 22:33Speaker 4: Well, Joe, they dropped Will Smith.
- 22:35Speaker 1: I know.
- 22:35Speaker 2: They dropped him in the lineup. They would never do
- 22:37Speaker 2: that with Otani, would they?
- 22:39Speaker 4: They ought to bench him because it ain't right, man.
- 22:42Speaker 3: He's not even, he's swinging at anything, and he looks,
- 22:46Speaker 3: he's in the buck 50.
- 22:47Speaker 2: They're not competitive.
- 22:48Speaker 3: No.
- 22:48Speaker 2: They're not competitive at-bats.
- 22:50Speaker 3: No, but he won't trade, he won't sit him because
- 22:52Speaker 3: he's just going to ride or die with his guys,
- 22:55Speaker 3: and that's going to be the end of it.
- 22:56Speaker 1: Yep.
- 22:57Speaker 3: Could be the end of the Dodgers because of it, too,
- 22:59Speaker 3: as well. They got that rookie, too, right? The best
- 23:02Speaker 3: player in Major League Baseball's farm system sitting on the
- 23:06Speaker 3: bench could be a DH.
- 23:09Speaker 1: Nope. Yamamoto.
- 23:10Speaker 4: Yamamoto.
- 23:12Speaker 2: Not Yamamoto.
- 23:14Speaker 4: Yamamoto is done.
- 23:15Speaker 1: Oh, boy. Yamamoto will find his way in game three.
- 23:23Speaker 4: Don't you, Art? He will.
- 23:24Speaker 3: I mean, he only threw three innings. Didn't even throw
- 23:26Speaker 3: three innings yesterday.
- 23:29Speaker 1: Yeah, seriously.
- 23:30Speaker 2: Christ.
- 23:31Speaker 1: He was pres-jinxed. Okay. NHL rundown. I don't know if
- 23:36Speaker 1: you guys know this, but it is called Frozen Frenzy.
- 23:42Speaker 1: Starting at 6.07 p.m. Eastern, the New Jersey Devils and
- 23:47Speaker 1: the Detroit Red Wings play. every 15 minutes until 11.07.
- 23:56Speaker 1: There is a game that goes off, that is right,
- 23:58Speaker 1: every 15 minutes. Let's break them down and let's break
- 24:02Speaker 1: them down fast. I like the under in the New
- 24:05Speaker 1: Jersey-Detroit game. I'm looking to bet unders in all New
- 24:08Speaker 1: Jersey games. They played under last night. I was on it.
- 24:12Speaker 1: It's six, take the under. I'm looking to bet unders
- 24:15Speaker 1: in anything Florida is involved in. They're playing Columbus. The
- 24:19Speaker 1: reason there's a six out there is because Columbus is
- 24:22Speaker 1: a team that can score, except no one scores on Florida.
- 24:26Speaker 1: even though Buffalo put up five last night. That even
- 24:29Speaker 1: makes this bet more sexy to me because I think
- 24:32Speaker 1: Florida comes out very disciplined. I like the over in
- 24:35Speaker 1: the Buffalo-Montreal game tonight, and I like Montreal at minus 150.
- 24:40Speaker 1: I think this game has a 5-3 score when all's
- 24:43Speaker 1: said and done. I think Carolina's the right spot here
- 24:47Speaker 1: against Washington, but I do not love this game. Philadelphia
- 24:51Speaker 1: needs to get it done against Seattle. I would not
- 24:54Speaker 1: bet Philadelphia here, but I cannot bet against them. They
- 24:58Speaker 1: are going to win either tonight or tomorrow. One of
- 25:02Speaker 1: those two. Martin Galem, if you want. Bet 100 on
- 25:06Speaker 1: Philly tonight. If they lose, come back tomorrow. New York
- 25:09Speaker 1: Rangers playing Tampa Bay. I think the spot here are
- 25:13Speaker 1: the Rangers, even without just Durkin. We're going to get
- 25:16Speaker 1: a superstar is injured out for the season bump from
- 25:20Speaker 1: the New York Rangers. And they're a dog at home
- 25:25Speaker 1: at plus 140. Ottawa and St. Louis take the under,
- 25:29Speaker 1: take every Ottawa game under. Don't overthink it. The New
- 25:33Speaker 1: York Islanders in regulation against Vancouver. Just bet against Vancouver,
- 25:39Speaker 1: especially after they win a game. Conor Bedard back for Chicago.
- 25:43Speaker 1: That'll be a rallying cry. They are plus 140 at
- 25:47Speaker 1: home against Pittsburgh. Take the dog down. Minnesota playing Winnipeg.
- 25:53Speaker 1: I like Winnipeg here coming off of an undisciplined loss
- 25:57Speaker 1: against Nashville. And they get Winnipeg, Minnesota with a back-to-back
- 26:01Speaker 1: and a goalie who's about to play his first game
- 26:04Speaker 1: of the year. I like Utah against Toronto, but I
- 26:07Speaker 1: prefer the over. I think it's going to be a
- 26:10Speaker 1: bad spot for the Leafs. Anytime you can play against Calgary,
- 26:15Speaker 1: which you can do, I think, 83 or 84 times
- 26:18Speaker 1: this year. They added an extra game. I can't remember.
- 26:21Speaker 1: Just play against Calgary. Take Anaheim in regulation. Los Angeles
- 26:26Speaker 1: against Edmonton. This is the spot for the Kings. They're
- 26:30Speaker 1: a small plus 115 dog at home. They are going
- 26:33Speaker 1: to beat Edmonton. Sometimes I think this will be one
- 26:37Speaker 1: of those times. And I think the under in the
- 26:41Speaker 1: Boston San Jose game, but that's my least favorite play
- 26:44Speaker 1: on the board. That's it for the NHL rundown, everybody. Art,
- 26:51Speaker 1: anything stand out to you NHL-wise that you want to add?
- 26:54Speaker 2: I just want to ask you as a hockey purist,
- 26:59Speaker 2: do you like this frozen frenzy or hate it?
- 27:03Speaker 1: How about neither? I could care less.
- 27:05Speaker 2: Okay.
- 27:07Speaker 1: I think it's cool. It's not worth hating or liking, honestly. Yeah,
- 27:11Speaker 1: I mean. All because you're staggering games every 15 minutes
- 27:15Speaker 1: has no relevance to me. I mean, there's been a
- 27:18Speaker 1: million days where there's 16 or 12 games on tap.
- 27:23Speaker 2: Sure.
- 27:24Speaker 1: Who cares? You know, is it sponsored? Are they making
- 27:29Speaker 1: some money? Are they giving me any of it?
- 27:32Speaker 2: No.
- 27:33Speaker 1: Yeah, so, I mean, and I don't care. I'm not
- 27:37Speaker 1: a purist either, Art. You know, things change for a reason. Sure.
- 27:43Speaker 1: You know, a better, I think the world is better
- 27:48Speaker 1: today than it was 300 years ago. Although I think
- 27:53Speaker 1: it's worse than it was three years ago.
- 27:56Speaker 2: Well, I don't know if we hit the NHL 300
- 27:58Speaker 2: years ago, but, you know.
- 28:00Speaker 1: No. Okay. No. Great show, boys. That was a lot
- 28:04Speaker 1: of fun, man. $ 5 Tuesdays. Go grab our plays. Lots
- 28:10Speaker 1: of love, everybody. Kick ass. We'll see you all tomorrow.
