0:45
SPEAKER_04: Keep it classic.
0:47
SPEAKER_00: Oh, something like that.

0:54
SPEAKER_00: Stella.
0:56
SPEAKER_00: I wish I had one of those right now.
0:57
SPEAKER_00: Oh my god, that looks so good.
0:59
SPEAKER_04: And it's ice coke, and it's like when I open it, little ice chips form.
1:03
SPEAKER_00: Oh my god.
1:04
SPEAKER_00: So you want to come over?
1:05
SPEAKER_00: Oh, when it gets a little slushy.
1:08
SPEAKER_04: Yes! But not too slushy when it gets watered down at the end.
1:11
SPEAKER_04: It's just perfectly slushy.
1:13
SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
1:13
SPEAKER_00: I'm having a moment.
1:15
SPEAKER_04: Oh, you should you guys should see her face.

SPEAKER_02: She really is.
1:22
SPEAKER_02: She's just not talking shit.
1:23
SPEAKER_02: She really is just like, uh.
1:25
SPEAKER_02: I'm picturing, I'm picturing the taste and the feel, and I'm just like, oh, I haven't had one in months.
1:31
SPEAKER_00: Okay, wow.
1:32
SPEAKER_00: You guys get your mind out the gutter.
1:34

SPEAKER_04: Stop it, guys.
1:38
SPEAKER_04: Welcome to us.
1:42
SPEAKER_00: Hot takes.
1:45
SPEAKER_04: Obviously, the twist at the end.
1:47
SPEAKER_04: I was surprised but not surprised.
1:48
SPEAKER_04: I'm like, who okay?
1:49
SPEAKER_04: Who's the package?
1:50
SPEAKER_04: I probably would have figured it out sooner if I was actually trying to, you know, think about it.
1:56
SPEAKER_04: You know what I mean?
1:56
SPEAKER_04: It's one of those things like, okay, yeah, that makes sense.
1:58
SPEAKER_04: Because I was waiting for him.
2:00
SPEAKER_04: Because I said a couple episodes ago, couple of episodes ago.
2:04
SPEAKER_04: Wow, that seller hit quick.
2:06
SPEAKER_04: Um, that he is still his name was still in the open.
2:12
SPEAKER_04: Like it's not though.
2:15
SPEAKER_04: It's not anymore.
2:17
SPEAKER_00: It's not.
2:18
SPEAKER_00: Um it was at the time.
2:20
SPEAKER_00: That's well, that's part of my after-episode notes.
2:23
SPEAKER_04: Okay, so it was when I made that comment.
2:26
SPEAKER_00: Okay.
2:27
SPEAKER_04: My original comment, like he was still.
2:29
SPEAKER_04: So I just assumed that he still.
2:31
SPEAKER_04: Wow.
2:31
SPEAKER_00: Unless maybe they've added it since.
2:34
SPEAKER_04: Maybe.
2:35
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I'll explain.
2:36
SPEAKER_04: I'm like, what are the odds?
2:38
SPEAKER_04: Like, well, anyway, so but um a couple of like, oh, so this is how it, this is what like Sun and Jin's like life would have been.
2:48
SPEAKER_04: I'm like, oh I'm not surprised, but it's interesting.
2:53
SPEAKER_04: I wonder how, but I did wonder how the event not happening changed their lives.
3:02
SPEAKER_04: I'm curious.
3:04
SPEAKER_04: Also, side note the event was a pretty good show, too.
3:07
SPEAKER_04: I wish it lasted longer than it did.
3:10
SPEAKER_04: Um, I think it was only one season, too.
3:12
SPEAKER_00: I think so.
3:14
SPEAKER_04: Okay.
3:15
SPEAKER_04: Well, other than that, I think I'm gonna channel.
3:17
SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna channel my best Stefan, and I know you don't know who that is, but this episode has everything.
3:26
SPEAKER_04: You mean Stefan?
3:27
SPEAKER_04: Steve Urkel Stephon?
3:29
SPEAKER_04: No.
3:29
SPEAKER_00: No, no, Stefan for all my SNL junkies.
3:33
SPEAKER_00: Oh, okay.
3:35
SPEAKER_00: This episode has everything night vision goggles, aphasia, dead people, forbidden love, and some liminal messaging.
3:45
SPEAKER_00: Are you ready to get started?
3:47
SPEAKER_04: I guess so, Stefan.
3:50
SPEAKER_04: Stefan, yeah.
3:52
SPEAKER_00: No, I'm sorry.
3:55
SPEAKER_00: Go watch a fucking episode.
3:56
SPEAKER_00: Okay.
3:58
SPEAKER_00: The show has been on for 50 fucking years and you haven't seen it.
4:01
SPEAKER_00: Come on.
4:01
SPEAKER_04: Okay, first of all, to be fair, I'm never up that late ever.
4:06
SPEAKER_04: I was never up that late ever.
4:08
SPEAKER_04: I'm not and if I am up that late, trust me, I was not home.
4:12
SPEAKER_04: Streaming.
4:14
SPEAKER_00: Streaming.
4:14
SPEAKER_00: The episodes are all on Peacock.
4:17
SPEAKER_00: Granted, some of the older ones are like not fully there.
4:21
SPEAKER_00: But the ones that Bill Hayter is on.
4:24
SPEAKER_04: But after like after you have a certain age, you're like, I haven't seen it in my entire life.
4:28
SPEAKER_04: Why go back to it now?
4:29
SPEAKER_00: Oh, because it's such a good show.
4:31
SPEAKER_04: But to be fair, I do understand every Soviet reference.
4:36
SPEAKER_04: Obviously not.
4:37
SPEAKER_04: Shut up.
4:40
SPEAKER_00: Your home, your Agnes, your homework is to go look up Stefan.
4:44
SPEAKER_04: Okay, listen, Lisa, who has seen any of the movies that the rest of the world has seen.
4:48
SPEAKER_04: I don't want to hear it from you.
4:50
SPEAKER_00: I don't know who Stefan is.
4:51
SPEAKER_00: Come on.
4:54
SPEAKER_00: Do you know who Tommy Flanagan is?
4:57
SPEAKER_04: This episode of Sassin Sips is presented to you by Stefan.
5:03
SPEAKER_00: Okay.
5:04
SPEAKER_00: Anyhow, let's go to the island.
5:07
SPEAKER_00: Please.
5:08
SPEAKER_03: I kind of want to go to the island myself right now.
5:11
SPEAKER_00: At Locks Camp, we see the scene through night vision goggles, and it's like, oh, ooh, what is this?
5:20
SPEAKER_00: Oh, I thought you want to say something.
5:22
SPEAKER_04: Obviously, they were being watched by um Whitmore's people.
5:26
SPEAKER_04: That was obvious.
5:28
SPEAKER_04: Oh.
5:28
SPEAKER_04: I see I pay attention.
5:30
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's like some stupid scene between Sawyer and Kate.
5:33
SPEAKER_00: It's like, you want cocoa?
5:34
SPEAKER_00: It's not cocoa fucking pretend.
5:35
SPEAKER_00: Like, obviously, it's not fucking cocoa.
5:40
SPEAKER_00: Stupid.
5:41
SPEAKER_00: Where the fuck did I get cocoa from?
5:43
SPEAKER_00: You want marshmallows with that?
5:44
SPEAKER_04: Like, what actually?
5:46
SPEAKER_04: Do you make it with milk?
5:47
SPEAKER_04: Don't make it with water.
5:49
SPEAKER_00: I mean, maybe if you were in the barracks, that's a possibility.
5:52
SPEAKER_00: You run a fucking beach camp?
5:56
SPEAKER_04: They might have been a cocoa plant.
5:57
SPEAKER_00: Led by a dead guy.
5:59
SPEAKER_00: And you think you got cocoa?
6:00
SPEAKER_04: There might have been a cocoa plant somewhere.
6:04
unknown: Okay.
6:06
unknown: Okay.
6:08
SPEAKER_00: They're talking about the fact that Kwan is one of the names, but they don't know which one.
6:15
SPEAKER_00: So Fake Locke says that he needs to get gin.
6:22
SPEAKER_00: Okay.
6:24
SPEAKER_00: Him and Said have a conversation, and Said is like, uh, I don't feel anything.
6:29
SPEAKER_00: Can't feel happiness, anger, pain, nothing.
6:33
SPEAKER_00: And Fake Lock is like, actually, that's a good thing because you're gonna need it to get through what's coming.
6:41
SPEAKER_00: He says that he's gonna leave, he's gonna be back in the morning.
6:44
SPEAKER_00: And while he's gone, they they get attacked by darts, and it's like pew, pew, pew, pew, one after the other.
6:53
SPEAKER_00: They're just like all shot down.
6:57
SPEAKER_04: It's funny you go pew, pew, pew, because in my head, as it I'm like, oh, pew, pew, pew, as I was watching it.
7:05
SPEAKER_04: It's more like, but okay.
7:09
SPEAKER_04: But in my head, I was doing the same thing you were.
7:12
SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
7:13
SPEAKER_04: That whole one-brain thing comes in handy.
7:16
SPEAKER_00: You see the people who sent the darts, they find Jin and they're like, Yep, this is the guy.
7:21
SPEAKER_00: Let's go.
7:21
SPEAKER_00: And they take him.
7:22
SPEAKER_00: When Fake Lock gets back to camp, he finds everyone unconscious.
7:27
SPEAKER_00: He finds Saeed, takes the dart out of his shoulder, and it's like, uh, what happened?
7:32
SPEAKER_00: Saeed's like, I don't know.
7:34
SPEAKER_00: We were dead.
7:35
SPEAKER_00: Like, duh.
7:37
SPEAKER_00: Right.
7:39
SPEAKER_04: Like you took the dart out of him.
7:40
SPEAKER_04: So you know he doesn't know the fuck what happened.
7:42
SPEAKER_04: You know what I mean?
7:44
SPEAKER_00: He tells Saeed that he's gonna take the outrigger.
7:47
SPEAKER_00: And he's like, uh, you a good swimmer?
7:49
SPEAKER_00: He's like, Okay, you swim.
7:51
SPEAKER_00: I'll I'll boat.
7:52
SPEAKER_00: No problem.
7:56
SPEAKER_00: Then he goes to Claire and wants to know if something is wrong, and she asks if her name is on the cave, the cave wall.
8:03
SPEAKER_00: He says it's not, but he still needs her, and that there's there's gonna be room on the plane for her, too.
8:11
SPEAKER_00: She says that when they get home, Aaron won't know her because he thinks Kate is his mother, and she wants to know if Kate's name is on the wall.
8:20
SPEAKER_00: Fake Lock says it's not anymore, but he still needs her because she can help influence the other people to implement his plan.
8:28
SPEAKER_00: You know, but then once he doesn't need her anymore, it's like whatever happens, happens.
8:33
SPEAKER_04: Right.
8:34
SPEAKER_04: That's on brand.
8:36
SPEAKER_00: Fake Lock and Said start to leave, and Soey wants to know what they're doing.
8:40
SPEAKER_00: Fake Lock says that they're going to go to the other island.
8:44
SPEAKER_00: Said is like, can't you just turn into smoke and fly?
8:48
SPEAKER_04: That's like honestly, kind of like I've thought about that several times.
8:52
SPEAKER_00: Mm-hmm.
8:54
SPEAKER_00: And he's like, uh, yeah, if it was only that easy, I would have, you know, I would have done that.
9:01
SPEAKER_00: Once he gets to the other island, you see all the pylons stretched out, like lined up on the beach, and then shots fired at him.
9:11
SPEAKER_00: Good, I guess a good thing he can't be shot.
9:15
SPEAKER_00: And boom, it's like Timu Goonies back on the beach.
9:19
SPEAKER_00: It's like discount Tina Faye and discount Sean Aston.
9:23
SPEAKER_00: Okay.
9:27
SPEAKER_00: Woodmore comes to the fence and he wants to know if he knows who he is.
9:32
SPEAKER_00: And because he's like, Well, you're obviously not John Locke.
9:36
SPEAKER_00: But then everything else he knows is is a myth, uh, a combination of myths and ghost stories and noises in the night.
9:45
SPEAKER_00: Fake Lock points out that the sonar fence pylons are proof that Woodmore knows more than that.
9:53
SPEAKER_00: Widmore asks why he came, and Fake Lock says, because you took one of our people.
9:58
SPEAKER_00: And Woodmore's like, What?
9:59
SPEAKER_00: New beach, who this?
10:01
SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
10:06
SPEAKER_00: Meanwhile, Sawyer and Kate sit at the fire and she wants to know why he's not worried.
10:10
SPEAKER_00: But he's like, No, but I actually am.
10:13
SPEAKER_00: But he has a feeling that this is almost over, thinking that Woodmore has probably captured Fake Lock.
10:20
SPEAKER_00: But just then, Fake Lock comes back into camp alone.
10:24
SPEAKER_00: Sawyer's like, okay, where's Jin?
10:26
SPEAKER_00: And he says, Woodmore says he didn't have him, but I don't believe him.
10:31
SPEAKER_00: He asks whether he's lost Saeed too, noting uh he didn't come back.
10:37
SPEAKER_00: And Fake Lock says he sent Said on an errand and brings up the locked room on the sub, stating that he doesn't like secrets.
10:47
SPEAKER_00: At the beach, Miles and Frank are playing cards, because you know what else you do?
10:53
SPEAKER_04: What else are you gonna do?
10:54
SPEAKER_00: Right.
10:55
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you don't have Coco, so what else are you gonna do?
10:58
SPEAKER_00: Ilana is cleaning her rifle, and Ben asks what they're waiting for.
11:03
SPEAKER_00: She says they're waiting for Richard to return, to which Ben replies that he would bet, given what Richard said about them all being in hell, that they'll never see him again.
11:13
SPEAKER_00: Ilana says Hurley will be back, and Miles is disparaging about Hurley's ability to track anyone not covered in bacon grease.
11:21
SPEAKER_00: But Ilana says Jacob has never lied to her, and therefore Richard knows what to do.
11:29
SPEAKER_00: She says she's convinced that Richard will come back, and until he does, they'll wait.
11:34
SPEAKER_00: Son walks off angrily instead of waiting.
11:38
SPEAKER_00: She goes to her garden, now overgrown, and Jack joins her and reflects on when she planted the garden.
11:45
SPEAKER_00: He says, It seems like a hundred years ago.
11:48
SPEAKER_00: She says she doesn't care about whether Richard comes back.
11:52
SPEAKER_00: And Jack tells her about Jacob's lighthouse and the list, but Sun says she doesn't care about being a candidate or their purpose or their destiny, and she just wants to be left alone.
12:03
SPEAKER_00: He leaves, she cries.
12:06
SPEAKER_00: Later, she's weeding and she cuts her finger on a leaf.
12:10
SPEAKER_00: The man in black, fake luck, startles her and she starts to back away.
12:16
SPEAKER_00: He says he's found Jin and that he was keeping his promise to reunite them, though it took longer than he expected.
12:23
SPEAKER_00: He tells her that he's with his people across the across the island, and he puts out his hand for her, but she says she doesn't believe him, that he killed the people at the temple.
12:35
SPEAKER_00: And he says those people were confused and lied to, and they could have come with him.
12:40
SPEAKER_00: You know, it's their fault I killed them, obviously.
12:44
SPEAKER_00: He says, I would never make right that that's exactly what he said.
12:47
SPEAKER_00: Like gaslighting that's finest.
12:50
SPEAKER_00: He says, I would never make you do anything against your will.
12:53
SPEAKER_00: Please, I'm asking you to come.
12:55
SPEAKER_04: I'm just gonna kill you if you don't do it, I say.
12:58
SPEAKER_00: Right, but it's your choice, right?
13:00
SPEAKER_00: Your choice.
13:01
SPEAKER_00: Follow it up.
13:03
SPEAKER_00: I'm not gonna force you, but you chose death.
13:06
SPEAKER_00: Instead, she just takes off running.
13:08
SPEAKER_00: Uh but in lost fashion, she runs right into a tree and knocks herself out.
13:14
SPEAKER_00: You mean Agnes fashion?
13:16
SPEAKER_00: Because that's something you have to do.
13:17
SPEAKER_04: Totally.
13:18
SPEAKER_00: I probably would do too.
13:19
SPEAKER_00: Big ass.
13:23
SPEAKER_04: I okay, you have to.
13:24
SPEAKER_04: I don't ever get that.
13:25
SPEAKER_04: And like in movies and TV, they have running, like looking back.
13:29
SPEAKER_04: Don't you understand that slows you the fuck down?
13:32
SPEAKER_00: And you crash into a tree.
13:33
SPEAKER_04: I mean, listen, if they're close enough for you to like for them to catch you looking back, they're gonna catch you regardless, whether you look back or not.
13:40
SPEAKER_04: Focus, focus on the goal, and that's getting the fuck away.
13:44
SPEAKER_04: But that's just me.
13:45
SPEAKER_04: I would legit walk, like run into the tree as I'm looking at it to see there's a difference.
13:50
SPEAKER_00: Well, at least there's a better chance than if you're looking back, you know.
13:53
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I'm just a class, period.
13:55
SPEAKER_04: Like, oh look, tree.
13:56
SPEAKER_00: Oh no, no.
13:57
SPEAKER_00: That's I am too, clearly.
13:59
SPEAKER_03: But I walked into a screen door, so you know.
14:02
SPEAKER_00: I've done that.
14:02
SPEAKER_00: I I've walked into one of those glass, you know, like the revolving doors.
14:06
SPEAKER_00: Yes.
14:07
SPEAKER_00: I've I've done that stupid shit where you missed the exit and and I walked into the not on purpose.
14:15
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I think there's more people that just won't admit to it like we would.
14:20
SPEAKER_03: They've done that.
14:21
SPEAKER_04: Especially if it's like super clean and depending on the angle of the sun, like you just don't see like a frame or whatever, like yet.
14:29
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
14:30
SPEAKER_04: And it only happens when you're sober, because if you're drunk, you're good.
14:33
SPEAKER_04: No, I was sober.
14:35
SPEAKER_04: Exactly.
14:38
SPEAKER_00: Ben finds Sun knocked out, she revives, she's speaking Korean, and she's like, where he went, and that he chased her.
14:48
SPEAKER_00: Ben asks, does she speak English?
14:51
SPEAKER_00: And he's like, but who?
14:53
SPEAKER_00: And she says, Lock.
14:56
SPEAKER_00: At the camp, Jack is looking after her wound, and Alana gives Ben a look and asks him why she won't believe him that someone's already unconscious when he found her, and she's like, because you're speaking.
15:14
SPEAKER_00: Speaking.
15:16
SPEAKER_00: Why do you think I'm lying?
15:17
SPEAKER_00: Because your mouth is open.
15:19
SPEAKER_04: Is it the Megan Trainer song?
15:21
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
15:22
SPEAKER_04: Oh, that's I love her.
15:24
SPEAKER_00: Jack says she has a concussion and that although she understands English, she can only speak Korean.
15:31
SPEAKER_00: So he diagnoses her with aphasia, which affects the language center of the brain.
15:36
SPEAKER_00: But the condition is usually only temporary.
15:40
SPEAKER_00: Just then Richard comes in, Alana smiles, and Richard says, Pack your shit, we're leaving.
15:47
SPEAKER_00: Jack wants to know where they're going.
15:50
SPEAKER_00: And Richard asks Ben where fake lock is, and Ben says, He's on Hydra Island.
15:56
SPEAKER_00: Richard checks with Frank, and it's like, yep, that's where the plane landed.
16:00
SPEAKER_00: He says they're gonna stop this man by destroying the plane.
16:03
SPEAKER_00: Son is like, hell fucking no.
16:06
SPEAKER_00: And she just she yells at him in Korean, and obviously he doesn't understand.
16:11
SPEAKER_00: Thankfully, we have subtitles, but doesn't everyone speak Korean?
16:16
SPEAKER_04: Come on, people.
16:17
SPEAKER_00: I mean, she's like, the plane is the only way that they can get off the island.
16:23
SPEAKER_00: And it he's insane if if he thinks that like destroying their their only means of getting off the island, if that's the plan.
16:32
SPEAKER_00: And she says she came to get gin, not save the world, and I don't care if Alana thinks I'm important.
16:39
SPEAKER_00: Later that night, Sun is staring out to sea.
16:42
SPEAKER_00: Jack brings her some things and suggests that she try to write in English because sometimes aphasia only atta only uh affects the speaking, but not but not writing.
16:54
SPEAKER_00: He says he went back to the garden and while he was there, he found a tomato, a stubborn tomato that didn't know it was supposed to die.
17:03
SPEAKER_00: Have you ever grown tomatoes?
17:05
SPEAKER_04: No.
17:06
SPEAKER_00: I have grown tomatoes.
17:08
SPEAKER_00: Tomatoes are one of the easiest things to grow because whatever now take this from somebody who has grown tomatoes in New York City.
17:22
SPEAKER_00: Concrete, okay?
17:24
SPEAKER_00: Garden beds, planters.
17:26
SPEAKER_00: When those when the tomatoes fall, some you know, at the end of the season, like if you don't pick them all off of the br of the the plant, they fall wherever.
17:38
SPEAKER_00: They grow in the fucking lines between the cement, cracks in the pavement.
17:45
SPEAKER_00: The tomatoes will grow.
17:47
SPEAKER_00: And I I I have seen it, not just at my at my old place, at my mom's house, like I can't tell you how many times she's like, Oh, here, you want this one?
17:57
SPEAKER_00: Because now it's too many.
17:59
SPEAKER_00: They will grow anywhere.
18:01
SPEAKER_00: So just FYI.
18:04
SPEAKER_04: So by the time she got back three plus years later, it should have been like a tomato jungle.
18:09
SPEAKER_00: It should have been a tomato jungle.
18:10
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
18:11
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
18:12
SPEAKER_00: Because they just keep once those.
18:15
SPEAKER_00: I don't even buy tomato plants.
18:18
SPEAKER_00: I just bury a tomato and it grows.
18:22
SPEAKER_00: Cut a tomato, squeeze the seeds, or or you know, if you open the tomato, yeah, it grows.
18:29
SPEAKER_00: She writes that she didn't go with the man in black to join Jim because she didn't trust him.
18:35
SPEAKER_00: And Jack asks whether Sun trusts him, meaning Jack.
18:38
SPEAKER_00: She nods.
18:40
SPEAKER_00: He asks her to come with them and promises that he will help her find Jen and get them both on the plane.
18:45
SPEAKER_00: He offers her hand, he offers his hand and she takes it.
18:49
SPEAKER_00: And it's funny because you know how we always are like, fuck Jack back.
18:54
SPEAKER_04: But Jack did a good thing, he was not Jacking today.
18:57
SPEAKER_04: And I appre I thought about that too.
18:59
SPEAKER_00: I would a hundred percent trust Jack.
19:03
SPEAKER_00: And it's not that annoying.
19:05
SPEAKER_04: This is annoying as fuck.
19:06
SPEAKER_04: I trust him.
19:07
SPEAKER_00: I trust that Jack always wants to do right by everyone he comes across.
19:13
SPEAKER_00: He just has a really kind of mansplainy way of doing it.
19:19
SPEAKER_04: Right.
19:20
SPEAKER_00: And I can't as a 40-some odd-year-old woman, I'm like, fuck your mansplaining.
19:24
SPEAKER_00: Like just help me or don't help me.
19:26
SPEAKER_00: Don't treat me like I'm incapable.
19:29
SPEAKER_00: And that's I think that's the part that bothers me.
19:32
SPEAKER_00: Because I don't need you to save me.
19:35
SPEAKER_00: Maybe I do.
19:36
SPEAKER_00: But like, even if I do, I think I just don't want it.
19:40
SPEAKER_00: I don't like unless I'm fucking literally drowning, then just get me out of the water, but don't tell me about it.
19:47
SPEAKER_00: Save my life.
19:48
SPEAKER_00: Right.
19:51
SPEAKER_00: Don't tell me about it.
19:52
SPEAKER_00: Right.
19:53
SPEAKER_00: Okay.
19:53
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
19:54
SPEAKER_00: Just don't tell me about how I shouldn't have gone in the waves because this and I but no no no no.
20:00
SPEAKER_00: Just just tell me shit.
20:01
SPEAKER_00: You fucking almost drowned.
20:02
SPEAKER_00: Okay, thank you.
20:05
SPEAKER_00: But I just I really like that scene because I was just like, you know what?
20:08
SPEAKER_00: Like, we do hate on Jack a lot, but he really was helpful and just not that he's not sincere other times, but it's just like a really scary.
20:19
SPEAKER_04: He wasn't annoying about it.
20:22
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I guess.
20:25
SPEAKER_04: He was like a normal person.
20:27
SPEAKER_04: He wasn't like Captain Save a Hole.
20:29
SPEAKER_04: Like, dude.
20:36
SPEAKER_00: On Hydra Island.
20:39
SPEAKER_03: When there's no hoes.
20:41
SPEAKER_00: Jin wakes up in the book O'Clockwork Orange.
20:45
SPEAKER_00: And hey, have you ever read that?
20:51
unknown: No.
20:53
SPEAKER_00: Wait, oh my god, hold on.
20:54
SPEAKER_00: Have you seen the movie?
20:56
SPEAKER_04: Parts of it.
20:58
SPEAKER_04: Shut up, Lisa.
20:59
SPEAKER_04: Okay, so maybe two things.
21:01
SPEAKER_04: Two movies.
21:02
SPEAKER_00: How the turntables turn.
21:04
SPEAKER_00: What?
21:05
SPEAKER_00: Say that again.
21:06
SPEAKER_00: You don't get it because no, no, I know what I said.
21:09
SPEAKER_04: Two movies?
21:10
SPEAKER_04: Two movies I haven't seen.
21:12
SPEAKER_04: And use like a hundred that you haven't, that the whole world has seen.
21:15
SPEAKER_04: Okay, fine.
21:15
SPEAKER_04: I'll take the I'll take that.
21:17
SPEAKER_04: I'll take that number.
21:44
SPEAKER_00: You also didn't recognize that office reference, but okay.
21:48
SPEAKER_00: Let's okay.
21:49
SPEAKER_00: I've read the book and I've watched the movie.
21:51
SPEAKER_04: Let's line up what I've seen, what you haven't.
21:54
SPEAKER_00: I don't care.
21:55
SPEAKER_00: Go for it.
21:55
SPEAKER_00: I stand behind what I've seen and what I haven't.
21:59
SPEAKER_04: You know what?
22:00
SPEAKER_04: On this episode, Assassin's Tips.
22:02
SPEAKER_04: We're going to explain this last year.
22:04
SPEAKER_00: We're gonna do it.
22:05
SPEAKER_00: It's just gonna be a list.
22:08
SPEAKER_03: Please watch a video of the list scrolling through the video.
22:13
SPEAKER_00: Maybe that's what we should do.
22:14
SPEAKER_00: We should just in between this season and the next season, we should just put a poll and and have listeners pick one movie that you haven't seen and one movie that.
22:25
SPEAKER_00: I haven't seen.
22:28
SPEAKER_04: Nine out of ten, they'll get that movie.
22:30
SPEAKER_00: I mean, no, no, no, but I'm saying, like, an act, no, an actual movie that you haven't seen, and an actual movie that I haven't seen.
22:38
SPEAKER_00: Oh, maybe.
22:39
SPEAKER_00: Okay.
22:40
SPEAKER_00: And then we watch one in one.
22:43
SPEAKER_00: We just do like a movie.
22:45
SPEAKER_00: That sounds like fun.
22:46
SPEAKER_00: You know, like just two little standalone bonus episodes.
22:50
SPEAKER_00: Like I might have to force you to watch Star Wars, and you have to force me to watch The Godfather.
22:56
SPEAKER_00: Anything.
22:57
SPEAKER_04: Anything.
22:57
SPEAKER_04: Oh, okay.
22:59
SPEAKER_04: Listen, I think we should get movies that are not like long as far as storylines.
23:03
SPEAKER_04: Like the Star Wars and The Godfather, they're like a hundred hours.
23:05
SPEAKER_04: You know what I mean?
23:06
SPEAKER_04: Worth of okay.
23:08
SPEAKER_04: I'm not gonna want to watch one and not the others.
23:10
SPEAKER_00: Movie of Star Wars is two hours long.
23:12
unknown: I don't know.
23:13
SPEAKER_04: No, I'll talk about like the whole storyline.
23:14
SPEAKER_00: You know what I mean?
23:15
SPEAKER_04: Like the series different movies.
23:24
SPEAKER_04: So we have to watch like one movie.
23:26
SPEAKER_04: All right, so you and I will be long.
23:28
SPEAKER_00: We'll come up with a list and then we'll just put like a poll.
23:32
SPEAKER_04: Or we could just like listen to all these episodes that we talk shit about.
23:35
SPEAKER_04: And then this tons of tons of movies.
23:38
SPEAKER_00: No, I think we should put a poll and just let No, like like do you remember which movies we talked about?
23:42
SPEAKER_00: I feel like okay, so I think we could just Google like top 10 movies, and chances are like eight.
23:51
SPEAKER_05: I love you.
23:52
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I'm okay with that.
23:54
SPEAKER_00: I know who I am.
23:58
SPEAKER_04: I don't like weird stuff.
24:01
SPEAKER_00: All right, we'll work on that list later.
24:03
SPEAKER_00: Let's finish this.
24:06
SPEAKER_04: In the I'm still laughing at the you can't say something funny and not expect me to think it's funny.
24:14
SPEAKER_04: That's your fault.
24:15
SPEAKER_02: Trying to move on.
24:16
SPEAKER_04: It's funny.
24:17
SPEAKER_04: You're funny.
24:18
SPEAKER_04: It's your fault.
24:19
SPEAKER_00: Okay, sorry.
24:19
SPEAKER_00: I'll I'll be not funny.
24:21
SPEAKER_04: Thank you.
24:23
SPEAKER_00: In the Clockwork Orange Room, the movie plays, and some of the images that we see say, we are the causes of our own suffering.
24:35
SPEAKER_00: Everything changes.
24:36
SPEAKER_00: I can't do this.
24:38
SPEAKER_00: No, I can't do this.
24:39
SPEAKER_04: Um okay, because I'm like, um, I can't do that.
24:44
SPEAKER_00: Uh Discount Tina Faye comes in and she says they're in room 23 and they were doing experiments with subliminal messaging, but that he knows all about the Dharm Initiative because you know he was in it.
24:59
SPEAKER_00: He goes to leave, and she's like, uh-uh, motherfucker, stun gun.
25:03
SPEAKER_00: She's like, uh, I'm sorry.
25:05
SPEAKER_00: You know, we went through a lot of trouble to bring you here, so you gotta fucking stay.
25:09
SPEAKER_00: She shows him a map, and the map has pockets of electromagnetism, and she wants to she says that whoever signed the map could help her out, and the shit the signature looks a lot like Jin Su Quan.
25:24
SPEAKER_00: She wants to know whether it is him, but he says he'll only speak to Charles Whidmore.
25:29
SPEAKER_00: She's like, oh, good, he wants to speak to you too.
25:31
SPEAKER_00: Widmore berates discount Tina Faye, aka Zoe, for making a move ahead of schedule, and she says that, well, then you should have hired a mercenary instead of a geophysicist.
25:44
SPEAKER_04: He told him.
25:45
SPEAKER_00: And which is ironic because season four was all about how he hired mercenaries.
25:51
SPEAKER_04: And we see how that game works out.
25:56
SPEAKER_00: He's like, Well, what's done is done, and he sees that Jin is looking on, and he and she he tells her to go get the package from the sub and take it to the infirmary.
26:10
SPEAKER_00: While she leaves, Widmore apologizes to Jin and introduces himself, and he gives him a camera that he found in Sun's luggage from the plane.
26:22
SPEAKER_00: The camera contains shots of Ji Yun, which is his daughter.
26:26
SPEAKER_00: And we also see the doggy.
26:28
SPEAKER_00: Remember the dog, the puppy that he gave Sun in one of their flashbacks, the Chow Chow?
26:34
SPEAKER_00: Oh, right.
26:35
SPEAKER_00: And the dog, I mean, I don't know if it's actually the same dog, but it's supposed to be the same dog.
26:39
SPEAKER_00: And so the dog is in the pictures with the kid.
26:42
SPEAKER_04: Oh, that's sweet.
26:44
SPEAKER_00: Puppies and babies.
26:45
SPEAKER_00: Puppies and babies.
26:47
SPEAKER_00: It's like boats and hoes, but puppies and babies.
26:51
SPEAKER_00: Okay, wait.
26:52
SPEAKER_02: No, yeah, I got it, but just like it was so random.
26:55
SPEAKER_02: I'm just like, I wasn't like, what did that come?
26:58
SPEAKER_02: I mean, I've seen that movie.
26:59
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, but I just feel like it was just like okay.
27:01
SPEAKER_02: That came out of left field.
27:03
SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
27:03
SPEAKER_00: That was my whole brain is in left field.
27:07
SPEAKER_04: All right, actress number two.
27:09
SPEAKER_04: And I don't want to.
27:10
SPEAKER_00: I've still been hanging out with you too long.
27:11
SPEAKER_04: I know, poor Lisa.
27:12
SPEAKER_00: How many years has it been?
27:14
SPEAKER_00: I think it's caught up to me finally.
27:16
SPEAKER_04: We've known each other.
27:17
SPEAKER_04: Do we say that?
27:18
SPEAKER_04: I'm gonna say it 37 years.
27:22
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I think I think we're um reaching our max capacity and our brains are just like, no, too too much, too much.
27:29
SPEAKER_04: We've known each other for a whole adult.
27:31
SPEAKER_00: You know what I mean?
27:31
SPEAKER_00: It's like it's like when they say that you're you and your dog start to look alike.
27:35
SPEAKER_00: Look alike.
27:36
SPEAKER_00: But like you and your friends start to think alike.
27:39
SPEAKER_04: Well, that's what happens when you know we share we start sharing like brain cells.
27:45
SPEAKER_00: It's somehow like connected through the Zoom.
27:47
SPEAKER_00: The brain cells are just like it's telepathic.
27:51
SPEAKER_04: Um telepathetic is more like if anyone heard our normal phone conversations, they were like, um Yeah.
28:01
SPEAKER_00: Send help.
28:04
SPEAKER_03: Blink twice.
28:06
SPEAKER_00: Widmore says he has a daughter too, and knows what it's like to be kept apart.
28:12
SPEAKER_00: He explains that being reunited with Son would be short-lived if that quote thing ever got off the island.
28:20
SPEAKER_00: He says everyone we know and love would simply cease to be.
28:23
SPEAKER_00: He says he's come to prevent that from happening, and Jin wants to know how he plans to do that.
28:31
SPEAKER_00: So he says, it's time for you to see the package, and the package is not a what, but a who.
28:39
SPEAKER_00: By the sub, we see Said surfacing, ooh, nice and stealthy, in the water.
28:46
SPEAKER_00: And he is seeing Zoe and Seamus, but another dude who never had a name before.
28:53
SPEAKER_00: Maybe, I don't know, pulling someone out of the sub.
28:57
SPEAKER_00: The body drops to the edge of the dock, and Zoe's like, you know, discount Tina Faye.
29:04
SPEAKER_00: She's like, Oh shit, I think I gave him too much of the drug.
29:07
SPEAKER_00: At that moment, Desmond opens his eyes, his head is hanging over the edge, and him and Saeed look at each other.
29:17
SPEAKER_00: Now, I want to know if Saeed is sitting, uh sitting, floating, treading water, like right by the fucking dock that him and Desmond are that close, how do they not see him?
29:30
SPEAKER_04: Because the script said not to.
29:32
SPEAKER_00: Oh, okay.
29:33
SPEAKER_04: Got it.
29:34
SPEAKER_00: Alright.
29:34
SPEAKER_00: So they carry Desmond away.
29:39
SPEAKER_00: They haven't seen each other since the freighter.
29:43
SPEAKER_00: Actually, no, no, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute.
29:45
SPEAKER_04: Did they go did he go to the church?
29:48
SPEAKER_00: To talk to Said Said wasn't at the church, so maybe no, Penny's boat, I think.
29:56
SPEAKER_00: The searcher.
29:57
SPEAKER_00: That's the last time they saw each other.
29:58
SPEAKER_01: Okay.
29:59
SPEAKER_00: After they got on Penny's boat.
30:01
SPEAKER_00: Because Saeed was one of the Oceanic Six.
30:06
SPEAKER_00: That was the last time that they saw each other when they arrived.
30:09
SPEAKER_00: Oh.
30:09
SPEAKER_00: Well, when they arrived to Penny's boat, because remember, Desmond didn't yes.
30:14
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
30:16
SPEAKER_00: In the flash sideways, we're back at L uh we're back at LAX, and the customs officer brings Jin out and returns his suitcase and the watch, but explains that the 25 grand can't be returned until Jin completes the necessary paperwork.
30:35
SPEAKER_00: Of course, Jin doesn't understand, and they leave.
30:38
SPEAKER_00: He says he's missed the meeting at the restaurant.
30:41
SPEAKER_00: When Sun asks what all the money was for, Jin says he doesn't know.
30:46
SPEAKER_00: Her father gave it to him, and he doesn't question the father.
30:50
SPEAKER_00: I do what I'm told.
30:52
SPEAKER_00: That's also what the Nazis said.
30:54
SPEAKER_00: At the hotel, the desk clerk finds the booking for the room for Paik.
31:00
SPEAKER_00: And then he's like, Yep, here, you know, you got a nice room, ocean view, some shit, some bullshit, whatever.
31:07
SPEAKER_00: And Jin is like, no, no, no, two rooms, two rooms.
31:10
SPEAKER_00: And he's like, with his finger, he's like, not marry, not married.
31:14
SPEAKER_00: Obviously, that's more for us than for the hotel clerk.
31:18
SPEAKER_00: Right.
31:18
SPEAKER_00: Which is a huge turn of events because huge.
31:22
SPEAKER_00: And especially when you see them on the plane and Jin is telling her to button your button.
31:29
SPEAKER_04: Remember, he did that in So you meant you just assumed that they were married.
31:34
SPEAKER_04: Right.
31:35
SPEAKER_04: But it kind of all makes sense though.
31:38
SPEAKER_04: As to like sh when they walked, she walked ahead of him as opposed to behind him.
31:44
SPEAKER_00: Oh, I didn't.
31:46
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I didn't catch that.
31:48
SPEAKER_04: Because as we find out later on this, and you know, a few scenes later, that he's there as her bodyguard.
31:54
SPEAKER_00: Her bodyguard.
31:55
SPEAKER_00: Right.
31:56
SPEAKER_04: So I'm like, okay.
31:58
SPEAKER_04: Something I caught that Lisa didn't?
32:00
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
32:02
SPEAKER_04: Holy shit.
32:02
SPEAKER_04: Okay, it's gonna snow now.
32:05
SPEAKER_00: Oh fuck.
32:09
SPEAKER_00: At the hot at the hotel, he knocks on her door.
32:13
SPEAKER_00: She's like, all right, you know, come inside.
32:16
SPEAKER_00: It's late.
32:16
SPEAKER_00: No one will be at the restaurant.
32:18
SPEAKER_00: And she's like, the man works for my dad.
32:21
SPEAKER_00: Everything will be fine.
32:23
SPEAKER_00: He's like, well, why would she care?
32:26
SPEAKER_00: Because you're here on a shopping trip.
32:31
SPEAKER_00: And she's like, Oh, is that what you think of me?
32:34
SPEAKER_00: And then she's like, and I unbutton my top button.
32:37
SPEAKER_00: You're gonna tell me not to again?
32:39
SPEAKER_00: You see his eyes, like, whoa.
32:43
SPEAKER_04: And the funny thing is, I'm so I'm such an American.
32:46
SPEAKER_04: I think I unbutton two normally.
32:49
SPEAKER_04: Like, you know, every day going to work.
32:51
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
32:52
SPEAKER_00: Well, we're not Koreans, so maybe that's why.
32:54
SPEAKER_04: I say I'm so I'm such an American.
32:56
SPEAKER_00: Uh-huh.
32:58
SPEAKER_00: And it's just like, and how about this one?
32:59
SPEAKER_00: And how about this one?
33:00
SPEAKER_00: And how about and then the shirt is off.
33:02
SPEAKER_00: And I mean, you know what else happened.
33:04
SPEAKER_04: But do I?
33:05
SPEAKER_04: It's been such a long time.
33:06
SPEAKER_04: I mean, I know how it goes.
33:08
SPEAKER_00: You know, I imagine.
33:10
SPEAKER_00: Okay.
33:12
SPEAKER_00: They awake in bed, and Sun says they should elope using the money in a secret account she has.
33:20
SPEAKER_00: Jin professes his love for her, and as she is about to tell him something, there's a knock on the door.
33:27
SPEAKER_00: Jin hides in the bathroom, and Sun looks at herself in the mirror.
33:32
SPEAKER_00: But at the door it's Martin Keamy.
33:35
SPEAKER_00: Now, I'm sorry, but why would you let somebody you don't know into your room?
33:40
SPEAKER_00: You don't even speak the same language, and there's a random man at your door.
33:46
SPEAKER_00: You're not even dressed, and obviously your modesty is a concern.
33:52
SPEAKER_00: So you just open the door, let this strange man into your I mean that's it.
33:57
SPEAKER_04: I sure as fuck wouldn't.
33:58
SPEAKER_04: I wouldn't even open the door.
33:59
SPEAKER_04: Peephole.
34:00
SPEAKER_00: That's what I'm saying.
34:00
SPEAKER_00: I would not have opened it.
34:01
SPEAKER_00: I would look at the peephole and be like, nope.
34:04
SPEAKER_04: I'm not answering.
34:05
SPEAKER_04: You will have to break this bitch in.
34:06
SPEAKER_04: We're not going, I'm not gonna make this easy for you.
34:10
SPEAKER_04: Right.
34:10
SPEAKER_04: You we're not gonna make this easy.
34:12
SPEAKER_04: You may get over on me.
34:13
SPEAKER_04: You may do what you get.
34:15
SPEAKER_04: It's not gonna be easy.
34:17
SPEAKER_04: I would have DNA of you all over me by the end of it.
34:21
SPEAKER_04: You might as well just not have done it because you will get caught.
34:23
SPEAKER_04: But that's just me.
34:26
SPEAKER_00: She gives him the watch and he admires it and asks, Where's your bodyguard?
34:32
SPEAKER_00: You know, Jin Su Quan.
34:34
SPEAKER_00: Jin is meant to give him some money.
34:37
SPEAKER_00: Sun says, No English.
34:39
SPEAKER_00: And Omar knocks at the door.
34:42
SPEAKER_00: Kimi lets him in, and Omar explains that Kwan's not in his room.
34:46
SPEAKER_00: And then they see the two glasses of champagne, and it's like, well, doesn't take a fucking rocket scientist to figure out what's going on.
34:53
SPEAKER_00: So they open the bathroom door and then boom, there's Jin, not really hiding so well.
34:58
SPEAKER_00: Like, didn't you kind of expect him to do like some mission impossible shit and be hanging from the ceiling ready to like kick a face in?
35:05
SPEAKER_04: No, actually, I kind of expect him to be there.
35:09
unknown: Okay.
35:10
SPEAKER_00: I guess it's it's not Said, so alright.
35:12
SPEAKER_00: Right.
35:13
SPEAKER_00: I was just like, yeah, what is he gonna do?
35:15
SPEAKER_00: Kimi says, okay, cool, but I still want the 25 grand.
35:19
SPEAKER_00: Sun tells Jin and Korean that she'll pay the money.
35:22
SPEAKER_00: And Kimi tells Omar, hey, go get Danny's friend.
35:26
SPEAKER_00: You know, the guy who speaks the nine languages, what's his name?
35:30
SPEAKER_00: Mikhail.
35:31
SPEAKER_00: Like, I feel like as soon as, well, for me, maybe not for you, but as soon as they say, you know, the guy who speaks all the languages, you should have known.
35:40
SPEAKER_04: I should have, but I wasn't paying that much attention.
35:43
SPEAKER_00: Well, Mikhail comes and he's able to translate for Son about how the money was confiscated, and she says, But I have the money and I have money in the bank and I can go get it.
35:57
SPEAKER_00: Kimi says, Okay, cool.
36:00
SPEAKER_00: You go with Sun and I'll hang back with Jin.
36:04
SPEAKER_00: So this and and don't worry, I won't tell anybody about your secret.
36:10
SPEAKER_00: Because they're like, no, no, but don't tell her father that we're together.
36:13
SPEAKER_00: Also, remember that every time that we've seen Mikhail, he's had an eye patch.
36:19
SPEAKER_05: Uh-huh.
36:19
SPEAKER_00: He had two eyes in this episode.
36:21
SPEAKER_00: Well, and now we yeah, yeah.
36:23
SPEAKER_00: For some of the episode, anyway.
36:25
SPEAKER_00: Right.
36:29
SPEAKER_00: At the bank, the the lady is like, uh your account is closed.
36:34
SPEAKER_00: And she's like, but nobody knew I had an account.
36:37
SPEAKER_00: Who how how was it closed?
36:39
SPEAKER_00: And she says, by your dad.
36:42
SPEAKER_00: But now she tells Mikau, why would he do that?
36:47
SPEAKER_00: And he's like, Well, why do you think how would he fucking know?
36:50
SPEAKER_00: And but and not only is it dumb for her to say, why would he do that?
36:54
SPEAKER_00: But it's just as dumb for him to say, Well, why do you think?
36:57
SPEAKER_00: As if he knows.
36:58
SPEAKER_00: I mean, come on.
37:00
SPEAKER_00: I mean, although that wasn't even as dumb as her asking him.
37:03
SPEAKER_04: But when when he was there when Jen said, Don't tell her father.
37:07
SPEAKER_04: I guess he's like, he's not stupid.
37:09
SPEAKER_04: Right.
37:10
SPEAKER_04: Like, well, the fuck do you think?
37:11
SPEAKER_00: Right, but it's like, hi, my name is Mikhail, nice to meet you.
37:14
SPEAKER_00: And she's like, Why would my father do such a thing?
37:16
SPEAKER_00: The fucking question.
37:17
SPEAKER_00: Well, maybe it was what's supposed to do.
37:19
SPEAKER_04: I took it as a rhetorical question.
37:20
SPEAKER_00: I guess.
37:21
SPEAKER_04: Like you're just talking out loud.
37:23
SPEAKER_00: I know.
37:23
SPEAKER_00: I'm just like, you don't know this guy.
37:26
SPEAKER_04: They're threatening you, and you're just gonna like talk to him like he's your best friend, like use him as a sounding board.
37:33
SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
37:34
SPEAKER_04: Meanwhile, I guess if there's no one else that speaks your language, you you kind of like just lash onto whoever understands you.
37:42
SPEAKER_00: I guess.
37:44
SPEAKER_00: Well, at the restaurant, Kimi puts him in the freezer and ties him up and then we hear so Kimi actually tells him to go get the he tells the guy like I'll go get the Arab guy.
38:02
SPEAKER_00: So I was just like, go get the Arab guy.
38:04
SPEAKER_00: He's like, Um, I'm Arab.
38:05
SPEAKER_00: He's like, just shut up and do it.
38:08
SPEAKER_00: But he also explains to Jin the irony.
38:14
SPEAKER_04: I actually cackled.
38:16
SPEAKER_02: I was I was like, wow, you're paying, you're handing off the money for your own hit.
38:24
SPEAKER_02: Oh my god.
38:25
SPEAKER_00: That's and the fact that he's so stressed about losing the money is the only thing that saved his life.
38:32
SPEAKER_04: I think it's hysterical.
38:33
SPEAKER_04: Like, but that's some gangster shit from dad.
38:36
SPEAKER_03: Like daddy pack, that's some gangster shit, which we already knew that he was he was a real gangster, no fucks given.
38:45
SPEAKER_00: Meanwhile, Jen is in the fridge and he hears he's hearing the scene of Saeed versus the mercenaries from the perspective of being tied up in the fridge.
39:00
SPEAKER_00: He kicks the door, Saeed comes in, he's like, free, free, and looks at a box cutter, and Saeed's like, eh, what the fuck here?
39:08
SPEAKER_00: He'll put it in your tie-up hands, no problem.
39:11
SPEAKER_00: And then that's like the end of Saeed's part.
39:14
SPEAKER_00: Uh Mikhail comes in with Sun, he sees all the bodies, he asks Kimi who did this, but Kimi, you know, just yeah, he dies.
39:28
SPEAKER_00: But then from behind, Jin has a gun pointed at Mikal's head.
39:33
SPEAKER_00: He says, I know you didn't do this because if you did this, you have already shot me.
39:38
SPEAKER_00: They struggle.
39:39
SPEAKER_00: Mikhail gets off two shots before trying to attack Jin with the carving knife.
39:45
SPEAKER_00: But Jin shoots him twice.
39:47
SPEAKER_00: One hits him right in the eye, and the other one apparently hits Sun because the next thing we see is her on the ground crying, holding her abdomen as it is like all bloody, and as Jin picks her up, she says she's pregnant.
40:06
SPEAKER_00: These are flash sideways.
40:10
SPEAKER_00: I don't want to say something that I shouldn't say.
40:13
SPEAKER_00: So, what was your explanation for the flash sideways?
40:17
SPEAKER_00: Like, what what do they represent?
40:19
SPEAKER_00: Like, obviously, like flashbacks are what happened before they got to the island.
40:24
SPEAKER_00: The flash forwards, right, were like after they left the island.
40:31
SPEAKER_00: What do you make of the flash sideways?
40:33
SPEAKER_00: Like, how do they fit in the timeline?
40:38
SPEAKER_04: So, you mean like never mind that I was saying that that's like once hell, once purgatory, one's the afterlife.
40:45
SPEAKER_00: That kind of yeah, I just I just want to be reminded of your of your theory of it before I ask you a question.
40:53
SPEAKER_04: Okay.
40:54
SPEAKER_04: My theory can say something wrong.
40:56
SPEAKER_04: My theory changes every episode.
40:59
SPEAKER_00: Because what's your theory now today?
41:02
SPEAKER_04: I don't know because my last theory was kind of proven that could be right with um Richard's story.
41:07
SPEAKER_04: I'm like, okay, so no, that has to be wrong now.
41:09
SPEAKER_04: So I have to change my theory.
41:12
SPEAKER_00: I I Okay, so basically, my question to you is in all of the On Island episodes, we have seen that Mikhail has an eye patch covering one eye because he lost an eye.
41:30
SPEAKER_00: In the flash sideways in this episode, we see him lose an eye.
41:38
SPEAKER_00: How do you make sense of that?
41:41
SPEAKER_00: Because it's not like a flashback, right?
41:43
SPEAKER_00: Where you could say, oh, well, that's how he lost his eye.
41:45
SPEAKER_04: Because I think some things are just meant to be regardless.
41:48
SPEAKER_04: Okay.
41:49
SPEAKER_04: No matter what.
41:51
SPEAKER_00: So in all timelines, there's just he was meant to lose an eye.
41:55
SPEAKER_04: Lose an eye.
41:56
SPEAKER_04: Okay.
41:56
SPEAKER_04: The hows probably change, obviously.
41:59
SPEAKER_04: If I think about it, I'm sure I there are like there's always gonna it's always constants in all the side fly, the side forwards, side, the flash.
42:10
SPEAKER_00: Like side fly, what this side views, the fly.
42:16
SPEAKER_00: I have seen that movie.
42:17
SPEAKER_04: I've seen that one too.
42:19
SPEAKER_04: Um, there's always a constant.
42:21
SPEAKER_04: How that constant is in there is always different.
42:24
SPEAKER_04: Said is always in Layla's life.
42:28
SPEAKER_04: How it's always changed.
42:29
SPEAKER_04: Who the fuck is Layla?
42:31
SPEAKER_04: Layla, his Naila, Nayla, Nadia, Nadia.
42:34
SPEAKER_04: I don't well.
42:36
SPEAKER_00: Andre Gabriel's never doing another interview with us.
42:39
SPEAKER_00: Thank you very much.
42:40
SPEAKER_04: Listen.
42:42
SPEAKER_04: This is like my first taste of like like you know, straight up beer, alcohol, not like diluted in like two months.
42:51
SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
42:52
SPEAKER_04: Let me fine.
42:54
SPEAKER_04: Um, so um, so it's just one of those things that's always going to be whether this is hell, purgatory, the real life that would have happened, whatever the case may be.
43:06
SPEAKER_04: Jonase.
43:07
SPEAKER_00: With this episode, Sun becomes the sixth character to have a flashback episode, a flash forward episode, and a flash sideways.
43:15
SPEAKER_00: However, she also has to share the centricity with Jin.
43:22
SPEAKER_00: Because they are one.
43:25
SPEAKER_00: Ilana has her first costume change since arriving on the island, and Sun and Ben have their first costume changed since arriving back on the island.
43:33
SPEAKER_00: The title has multiple meanings, referring to Desmond as Whidmore's submarine package, but also Jin's package of money.
43:45
SPEAKER_00: Jin was also wearing boxer shorts.
43:48
SPEAKER_05: Uh huh.
43:49
SPEAKER_00: So it could have also been another kind of package.
43:51
SPEAKER_00: That's what I just said.
43:53
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
43:54
SPEAKER_04: Okay.
43:55
SPEAKER_00: Sorry.
43:56
SPEAKER_04: We are just we're both being inappropriate at the same time, and I love that.
43:59
SPEAKER_04: I love that for us.
44:00
SPEAKER_00: Could have been the cocoa that Say that Sawyer gave to Kate.
44:08
SPEAKER_00: Could have been the camera that no, okay, all right, let's go.
44:14
SPEAKER_04: You're not drinking enough because you're too silly.
44:16
SPEAKER_00: I think take a toke, take a sip.
44:20
SPEAKER_00: Kevin Duran, who plays Kimi, Nestor Carbonell, Richard, and Matthew Fox.
44:25
SPEAKER_00: Jack appeared in this episode together, and they also appeared together in 2007 action film Smokin' Aces.
44:34
SPEAKER_00: Have you seen that movie?
44:36
SPEAKER_04: No, have you?
44:37
SPEAKER_00: No, I haven't.
44:38
SPEAKER_04: Okay.
44:41
SPEAKER_00: But that's like to be expected.
44:44
SPEAKER_00: This is the first time since the two-part season three finale through the looking glass that all credited main cast members have appeared in new footage in an episode.
44:56
SPEAKER_00: A 41-episode gap.
45:00
SPEAKER_00: Henry Ian Cusick, who plays Desmond, appears, though without speaking lines, making his first appearance since LAX Part 1.
45:08
SPEAKER_00: Now in absence of eight episodes.
45:12
SPEAKER_00: He's not credited for his appearance in the episodes.
45:16
SPEAKER_00: Oh, in the press release.
45:18
SPEAKER_00: Okay, I misread.
45:20
SPEAKER_00: I was wrong.
45:22
SPEAKER_00: And it's it says that this is likely due to the surprise nature of his return.
45:26
SPEAKER_00: So it was the it wasn't the episode that he wasn't credited in.
45:28
SPEAKER_00: It was the press release.
45:30
SPEAKER_00: Okay.
45:30
SPEAKER_00: Okay, my bad.
45:31
SPEAKER_00: As of this episode, the only living character who has been part of the main cast and is still off the island is Walt.
45:39
SPEAKER_00: Whidmore warns Jin that if the man in black succeeds in leaving the island, everyone they know and love will cease to exist.
45:49
SPEAKER_00: Do you have any thoughts about that statement and what it could mean?
45:53
SPEAKER_00: Whether it's true?
45:54
SPEAKER_00: Okay.
45:55
SPEAKER_04: No.
45:56
SPEAKER_04: I didn't have a thought.
45:56
SPEAKER_04: I was like, okay, it's a win-what fact.
45:59
SPEAKER_04: I don't know.
46:00
SPEAKER_00: So in the original timeline, Sun made plans to disappear in the United States to get away from Jin.
46:08
SPEAKER_00: But in the flash sideways, she wants them to run away together.
46:13
SPEAKER_00: And I think that this is proof that maybe you shouldn't get married.
46:21
SPEAKER_00: Maybe you are going to I am winning in life.
46:24
SPEAKER_00: Maybe exactly, you see, because if you were married to somebody, you would be miserable.
46:29
SPEAKER_00: But if you were just secretly in love with them, you'd be like, let's run away together instead of wanting to run away from them.
46:36
SPEAKER_00: I'm just saying.
46:38
SPEAKER_00: Look at the difference.
46:39
SPEAKER_01: I want to go to Morocco.
46:40
SPEAKER_01: You want to go to Morocco with me?
46:42
SPEAKER_01: Do you want us to run away together?
46:44
SPEAKER_01: Let's run away together.
46:46
SPEAKER_01: Okay.
46:46
SPEAKER_01: Okay.
46:47
SPEAKER_01: I have a passport.
46:48
SPEAKER_01: Have passport, we'll travel.
46:50
SPEAKER_01: There you go.
46:51
unknown: Okay.
46:52
SPEAKER_00: In the flash sideways, Jin is trying to protect Sun and she's hit by a stray bullet and bleeds from her.
46:59
SPEAKER_00: It looks like from her abdomen.
47:02
SPEAKER_00: And she says that she's pregnant.
47:03
SPEAKER_00: In the original timeline, Sun shoots Colleen in the abdomen.
47:09
SPEAKER_00: It's a little just juxtaposition that they like to do.
47:13
SPEAKER_00: Do you have anything else for this episode before we wrap up?
47:18
SPEAKER_04: No.
47:19
SPEAKER_00: No.
47:20
SPEAKER_00: Okay.
47:21
SPEAKER_04: I suck.
47:24
SPEAKER_00: When he's lucky.
47:25
SPEAKER_04: Quite well at that.
47:26
SPEAKER_00: Okay.
47:31
SPEAKER_00: Anyhow, the next episode is called Happily Ever After.
47:37
SPEAKER_03: Lies, I tell you.
47:39
SPEAKER_03: Lies.
47:40
SPEAKER_00: Probably.
47:41
SPEAKER_00: I mean it's lost.
47:42
SPEAKER_04: So same way they say living the dream does not mean that the person is living the dream.
47:48
SPEAKER_00: Loves to gaslight you.
47:50
SPEAKER_03: So loss is an abusive relationship.
47:53
SPEAKER_03: I'm like people who watch loss are an abusive relationship.
47:59
SPEAKER_00: It's like the abuse, the honeymoon phase, like that, you know, like the triangle, all in one episode.
48:08
SPEAKER_00: Times how many episodes?
48:09
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
48:10
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
48:10
SPEAKER_00: 121, I believe.
48:12
SPEAKER_04: God, you've got me doing this for how many?
48:14
SPEAKER_04: Oh my god, 100.
48:16
SPEAKER_04: Like, I'm on episode like 100 and like what?
48:19
SPEAKER_04: 14?
48:20
SPEAKER_00: We're we're like at yeah.
48:22
SPEAKER_04: 114, 115.
48:23
SPEAKER_04: 112, something like that.
48:24
SPEAKER_04: Something like that.
48:25
SPEAKER_00: Because we got what, like 10 more episodes to go?
48:27
SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
48:29
SPEAKER_04: I don't think that.
48:30
SPEAKER_04: And when to go count, I think it's like six.
48:34
SPEAKER_04: Oh my god.
48:36
SPEAKER_04: Because the last the season, no, it's one episode, really.
48:40
SPEAKER_04: So thank God.
48:42
unknown: Oh my god, thank God.
48:43
SPEAKER_01: I'm free, free at last.
48:45
SPEAKER_01: Oh Maria.
48:46
SPEAKER_01: Well, you're free from lost.
48:48
SPEAKER_01: You're not free.
48:49
SPEAKER_04: That's all I need to be free from.
48:50
SPEAKER_04: That's all I want to be free from.
48:51
SPEAKER_00: Oh, God.
48:51
SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna have to find a worse quote worse show for you next time around.
48:58
SPEAKER_04: She we haven't even gotten to we haven't even gotten to my episode, my show yet.
49:03
SPEAKER_04: You're already planning my next torture.
49:06
SPEAKER_04: And I get pleasure, I get perverse pleasure picking shows that she ends up liking.
49:11
SPEAKER_04: I'm like but Abs.
49:19
SPEAKER_00: Anyhow, we will be putting out a poll of movies.
49:26
SPEAKER_00: So make sure you look for that on Twitter.
49:29
SPEAKER_00: Coming soon.
49:30
SPEAKER_00: And vote for the ones that you want us to watch.
49:34
SPEAKER_00: Same kind of thing, right?
49:36
SPEAKER_00: Like I've seen she hasn't, she has, I haven't.
49:39
SPEAKER_00: And don't drink and drive, drink responsibly.
49:44
SPEAKER_00: Or you could text us if you just have like suggestions of movies.
49:48
SPEAKER_00: You could do that.
49:50
SPEAKER_00: And yeah, she's dancing.
49:52
SPEAKER_00: And until next time, I'm Lisa.
49:56
SPEAKER_04: And I'm Agnes.
49:57
SPEAKER_00: And we're out of here.
49:59
SPEAKER_04: See you later.
50:00
SPEAKER_04: Bye.
50:05
SPEAKER_00: There's like a little fucking fruit fly in here.
50:07
SPEAKER_00: What the fuck?
50:08
SPEAKER_00: Am I pig pen?
50:09
SPEAKER_00: Why are there bugs around me?
50:13
SPEAKER_04: You just smell so sweet.
50:16
SPEAKER_00: I I mean, I swear I bathe.
50:19
SPEAKER_00: Anyway, ooh, I farted.
50:22
SPEAKER_04: Leave that in there.
50:27
SPEAKER_00: The good thing about Zoom is that I can fart all I want and you won't have to smell it.
