- 1:37Speaker 3: Make prayer a priority in your life. Our goal for
- 1:41Speaker 3: today's meditative prayer is conquering loneliness. Take a moment right
- 1:46Speaker 3: now to sit back, relax, rest, find a comfortable setting,
- 1:55Speaker 3: and be still for a moment. Let your focus be
- 2:00Speaker 3: completely on this moment of reflection. I hope you'll close
- 2:06Speaker 3: your eyes and take a deep breath. As you exhale,
- 2:10Speaker 3: release the thoughts floating around in your mind. Invite the
- 2:19Speaker 3: Spirit of God into this special place, this moment. We're
- 2:26Speaker 3: going to be meditating on Psalm 27, verse 10 from
- 2:29Speaker 3: the King James Version. The Bible says, when my father
- 2:33Speaker 3: and my mother forsake me, the Lord will deliver me up.
- 2:42Speaker 3: Take a moment right now to pour out your adoration
- 2:44Speaker 3: to God for who he is. I praise you, God,
- 2:48Speaker 3: for you see all things and nothing is hidden from
- 2:54Speaker 3: your sight. You are near to the brokenhearted and give
- 3:03Speaker 3: strength to the downtrodden in spirit. Jesus, I worship you,
- 3:09Speaker 3: for you did not leave me orphaned on the earth
- 3:12Speaker 3: when you ascended to heaven. I praise you, Holy Spirit,
- 3:16Speaker 3: my constant companion and comforter. You will never leave me
- 3:21Speaker 3: nor forsake me. Here's an encouraging word. God will never
- 3:28Speaker 3: abandon you. No one likes being alone and sometimes you're
- 3:33Speaker 3: not given a choice by others. Your parents may have
- 3:38Speaker 3: left you. Your children may have distanced themselves. Your spouse
- 3:43Speaker 3: may have withdrawn their love. Friends may have betrayed you.
- 3:48Speaker 3: But God will never turn away. He will not give
- 3:52Speaker 3: up on you. God does not stop loving you. He
- 3:56Speaker 3: will not forsake you. Trusting in his faithfulness therefore, is
- 4:01Speaker 3: a choice. It cannot be dependent on circumstances. Sometimes we
- 4:08Speaker 3: might feel lost or alone, but God is always found
- 4:12Speaker 3: when we seek him. No matter where you find yourself today,
- 4:16Speaker 3: there's always a way back to God. You need only
- 4:21Speaker 3: to turn to him and call on his name. Call
- 4:26Speaker 3: on the name of Jesus today and confess your sins today.
- 4:31Speaker 3: Don't wait to run back into his loving arms. He's
- 4:34Speaker 3: waiting to welcome you home. Take a moment now to
- 4:41Speaker 3: thank God for his faithfulness. Thank him for never leaving
- 4:44Speaker 3: nor forsaking you. Thank him for his care and his
- 4:49Speaker 3: compassion even when you have strayed. Thank him for his
- 4:55Speaker 3: presence and his peace always. Thank him for setting you
- 5:00Speaker 3: free from loneliness and despair. Thank God because he will
- 5:07Speaker 3: leave the 99 to find you. And never forget, God
- 5:15Speaker 3: is present and he's listening to you. Once again, bring
- 5:19Speaker 3: to mind your fears and your doubts and ask God
- 5:23Speaker 3: to bring rest to your soul. to bring healing and
- 5:28Speaker 3: reconciliation to all areas of your life. Pray for God's
- 5:32Speaker 3: peace over your turmoil thoughts. Pray that his love would
- 5:39Speaker 3: calm your restless spirit. Pray and ask the Holy Spirit
- 5:43Speaker 3: for his assurance. Assurance that you are loved, cherished, and
- 5:48Speaker 3: cared for. And remember the scriptures. Even if your father
- 5:55Speaker 3: and mother abandoned you, The Lord cares for you. You
- 6:00Speaker 3: are never too far for his love to reach you.
- 6:06Speaker 3: So trust in God's love for you knowing that he
- 6:10Speaker 3: is waiting for you to reach out. God wants to
- 6:14Speaker 3: bless your life with his companionship. He will never let
- 6:19Speaker 3: you down. Choose God's love for your life this day
- 6:26Speaker 3: and for all those days to come. Thank you for
