- 0:22Let it begin. Let it begin. No. No? No? Okay. Hi, Noah. Noah! Hi, Noah.
- 0:30Happy birthday, Noah. I'm amazing. It's a little bit.
- 0:39Noah.
- 1:00Daddy, I'm so excited, but I have one question. What's your question?
- 1:05Are you going to be a pastor or a minister?
- 1:07Good question. I don't know, but it is all in God's hands. Good morning.
- 1:12You're listening to Have Faith Let It Begin, and it starts right now.
- 1:17Good morning, everyone, and welcome to Have Faith Let It Begin.
- 1:20Today is November 18th, 2024.
- 1:25Happy birthday to my big sister, Leanne. I call her Lulu. You know,
- 1:30having a big sister is always fun.
- 1:34Being the little brother of three other siblings is never, ever easy.
- 1:40It's kind of cool because you get spoiled a lot, I'm not going to lie.
- 1:45Having to look up to three individuals, especially my sister,
- 1:49was not so easy growing up because they were all talented.
- 1:54One was in the performing arts and two were professional athletes.
- 1:59Yeah, my sister was an amazing athlete. She did it all from throwing javelins
- 2:04to jousting, winning gold medals.
- 2:07Of course, scoring over a thousand points in basketball in a season.
- 2:12And yeah, I'll tell you, you know, or record season, I should say, seasons.
- 2:18She has always been someone to look up to.
- 2:21The great thing about my sister is that she never made it known that she was good.
- 2:27She knew she was good inside, but she wasn't one to flaunt it.
- 2:31She wasn't one to walk around and act like she was the best.
- 2:35You know what she was the best at? Being a big sister. You know what she was
- 2:39really, really good at? Being a great daughter.
- 2:42You know what she was really, really good at? Becoming a teacher.
- 2:45And over the years, watching her grow, I've known more and more now,
- 2:50she's not only all those things, but an amazing mother and wife.
- 2:55She has been so good. She's been an instrumental part in our family.
- 3:00Even though she lives so far away
- 3:02from me, I feel like I can reach out and touch her and give her a hug.
- 3:06Even though she's a pain in the neck to get a hold of. and when you finally
- 3:10get her on the phone, you know that conversation's gonna be about 60 seconds
- 3:14or less, kind of like a game show.
- 3:17But throughout it all, I know I can count on her. I can reach out to her and
- 3:22talk to her about anything and it's always been that way.
- 3:25I remember when I had my back surgery. My mom and dad were really worn out.
- 3:31Leanne had came home from college and she took care of me.
- 3:34She got me out of bed. She allowed me to go down the steps she gave me breakfast.
- 3:40But one memory sticks in the most.
- 3:43A long time ago when I was dealing with my ex, she was living with us.
- 3:48And I remember that I came down and she had already made breakfast.
- 3:53So I asked her to make me breakfast.
- 3:55And of course, in typical fashion, my ex looked at me and said,
- 3:59make your own breakfast.
- 4:01My sister got right out of her seat and said, don't worry, angel.
- 4:05I'm going to make you breakfast.
- 4:08And she made me her mean, awesome French toast.
- 4:11She always stuck up after me. She always made sure that whoever hurt me would feel the wrath.
- 4:19Thank you, Lulu, for always being there for me. On this special day,
- 4:23I wish you nothing but the very best in all your future endeavors and all your
- 4:28future birthdays because you truly are an awesome big sister.
- 4:32I love you and have a great season as a varsity coach.
- 4:38And keep doing what you're doing, because I'm proud of you. And I will always be your number one fan.
- 4:44Love you. And to all the big sisters out there, always remember to respect your
- 4:48little brothers, take care of your families, and always remain true to who you are.
