Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: All right, angie, if you are thirty years of age
- 0:06Speaker 1: or older. Sadly we both fall into that candy. There
- 0:13Speaker 1: are some sounds that we grew up hearing. Kids these
- 0:18Speaker 1: days will never really kind of here again, barring that
- 0:22Speaker 1: maybe they're in a movie or that's some sound effect
- 0:24Speaker 1: or something in a song. Yeah, and I was thinking
- 0:28Speaker 1: about this yesterday, and there is a sound kids these
- 0:31Speaker 1: days probably don't even know.
- 0:32Speaker 2: Was a thing. What sounds? All right?
- 0:36Speaker 1: Do you remember back in the day, if you wanted
- 0:39Speaker 1: to log into like AOL instant messenger and get to
- 0:42Speaker 1: aimin with your friends, wanted to log on to play
- 0:46Speaker 1: a game or whatever, you had to do and listen
- 0:51Speaker 1: and this might be jarring to something. You had to
- 0:52Speaker 1: do this and listen to this before you could get
- 0:55Speaker 1: on the internet. It's like it hurts my head. Kids
- 1:06Speaker 1: these days have no idea that that's a thing.
- 1:09Speaker 3: Oh yeah.
- 1:09Speaker 4: The age of dial up internet was, I mean, what
- 1:14Speaker 4: a time. But because of the dialing up of the Internet,
- 1:17Speaker 4: that's when a lot of houses got like a second
- 1:20Speaker 4: phone line, yeah, so that it wouldn't yeah, so it
- 1:22Speaker 4: wouldn't tie up the main one. And then that was
- 1:24Speaker 4: called the teen line. But you could either talk on
- 1:27Speaker 4: the phone with your friends or dial up to the
- 1:29Speaker 4: internet and talk to strangers on the internet.
- 1:32Speaker 1: Yeah, right, what's a sound that you can think of?
- 1:36Speaker 4: Like?
- 1:36Speaker 1: Oh, man, kids, you have kids, there's a song. What's
- 1:39Speaker 1: a sound like leam? Your eight year old would never
- 1:41Speaker 1: ever probably hear in his entire life.
- 1:43Speaker 4: Okay, do you remember the manual credit card machines? And
- 1:48Speaker 4: my kids have seen this in uh home alone too.
- 1:50Speaker 3: I think they have it.
- 1:51Speaker 2: That's the only way they know.
- 1:53Speaker 4: Yeah, but that manual credit card machine sound, Oh, I
- 1:56Speaker 4: love it so much.
- 2:00Speaker 1: It's so satisfying, So I gotta hear this one more.
- 2:02Speaker 1: There's like a satisfying like punch. Yeah, you know, it
- 2:07Speaker 1: went through.
- 2:08Speaker 4: I worked at a kid's clothing store when I was eighteen,
- 2:12Speaker 4: and I would always secretly love when the credit card
- 2:16Speaker 4: system was down, when the computer was down, because then
- 2:19Speaker 4: I could bust out the yes. Oh my gosh, there
- 2:23Speaker 4: was no better feeling, like you had so much power
- 2:27Speaker 4: going with the all is so good. Yeah, and I
- 2:30Speaker 4: don't think my kids. My kids are definitely not ever
- 2:32Speaker 4: gonna hear that in real life.
- 2:34Speaker 1: Oh go, and now now we don't even really put
- 2:36Speaker 1: the chip in anymore. You just gonna hover your card
- 2:39Speaker 1: over the thing for a while.
- 2:40Speaker 4: Yeah, that's the one thing where I feel like I
- 2:43Speaker 4: was born in the wrong generation, because like, give me
- 2:46Speaker 4: the real old school, because I always look like a
- 2:48Speaker 4: bumbling fool when I'm like, what is it?
- 2:50Speaker 3: Tap it, bop it, pull it twisted? I don't know
- 2:53Speaker 3: what to do with this card?
- 2:54Speaker 4: Right?
- 2:55Speaker 2: Seven oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven.
- 2:57Speaker 1: What's a sound effect that you just kind of remember
- 3:00Speaker 1: hearing growing up and your kids will never ever hear.
- 3:03Speaker 1: Here's another one. I have one more for you kids
- 3:06Speaker 1: these days, they don't use these. Do you remember when
- 3:09Speaker 1: you you'd go rent a movie. It's a Friday, you'd rent
- 3:12Speaker 1: a movie, Mom, whoever, dad grabs some pizza. You got
- 3:16Speaker 1: yourself a two leader, and the whole family's just sitting
- 3:18Speaker 1: down and you put in a movie and then you're
- 3:20Speaker 1: getting ready to return that bad boy and you had
- 3:22Speaker 1: to do this first.
- 3:26Speaker 2: Rewind sound effect.
- 3:28Speaker 3: Yes, we had a for Christmas.
- 3:30Speaker 4: We got a red race car that it looked like
- 3:34Speaker 4: it was a race car, but really it was just
- 3:37Speaker 4: for your VHS tape.
- 3:41Speaker 1: Seven one two eight zero one nine eight seven.
- 3:50Speaker 2: Angie, you got a little victory.
- 3:51Speaker 4: Oh my gosh, Yes, I do, and I feel like
- 3:53Speaker 4: it's a big victory. Yesterday, two things happened at once power.
- 4:01Speaker 3: No, I wouldn't be here my guy. No, I'm kidding.
- 4:04Speaker 4: I would still come to work so I could quit
- 4:07Speaker 4: in spectacular fashion.
- 4:08Speaker 3: No, I'm joking.
- 4:09Speaker 1: That's a five hundred millionaire, that's right.
- 4:12Speaker 3: No.
- 4:12Speaker 4: I took my son Liam on his very first playdate
- 4:16Speaker 4: since we moved here.
- 4:19Speaker 3: Very exciting, really. Yes. We went to the Fargo Sports
- 4:23Speaker 3: Park building.
- 4:25Speaker 2: Oh by us and by the Walmart.
- 4:27Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I had never been.
- 4:29Speaker 4: Yes, I had never been, and they have a really
- 4:31Speaker 4: dope indoor playground. So I took him for his playdate
- 4:34Speaker 4: with a few classmates and that was so exciting.
- 4:37Speaker 3: It's because now he feels like he's.
- 4:39Speaker 4: More connected in the community, and I love that for him.
- 4:42Speaker 2: That's wonderful.
- 4:43Speaker 3: Also, I got.
- 4:46Speaker 4: To hang out with two moms and so I'm building
- 4:48Speaker 4: my little friendship crew Kristin and Sarah. I'm very excited
- 4:53Speaker 4: and now they have to be my best friends forever.
- 4:55Speaker 4: I hope I'm not listening right now because I don't
- 4:56Speaker 4: want to sound.
- 4:57Speaker 1: Like a soccer what you what you ca kids do
- 5:00Speaker 1: on playdates?
- 5:01Speaker 5: Now?
- 5:01Speaker 2: Do they sit around in circles on their iPads or what.
- 5:04Speaker 4: No love not my kid. No, but it's a really
- 5:09Speaker 4: cool indoor playground, and like I wanted to play on it,
- 5:12Speaker 4: but you know, I'm a grown woman.
- 5:14Speaker 3: I am five to one though.
- 5:15Speaker 4: So I feel like height wise, yeah, I could sneak
- 5:18Speaker 4: in there.
- 5:19Speaker 3: It's the weight that's the issue.
- 5:20Speaker 4: But yeah, it was very exciting first play day. I
- 5:24Speaker 4: have like some new mom friends in the community, just
- 5:27Speaker 4: in time for summer.
- 5:28Speaker 3: I'm very excited.
- 5:29Speaker 4: And they were like, oh, we'll show you all the things,
- 5:31Speaker 4: all the things that you need to be doing around
- 5:33Speaker 4: town in the FM area.
- 5:34Speaker 3: Like, we'll show you, girl, We'll take you under our wing.
- 5:37Speaker 2: So I'm wonderful.
- 5:39Speaker 1: See an Angie spreaded her wings here, Yeah, wonderful.
- 5:46Speaker 3: What's your little victory? Get my little victory?
- 5:48Speaker 2: I'm I would.
- 5:49Speaker 1: I don't know if this is that major of a thing,
- 5:51Speaker 1: but not everyone gets to do it. I am officially
- 5:56Speaker 1: thirty four and a half years old. Today is my
- 5:58Speaker 1: half birthday. By tomorrow I will be closer. I will
- 6:05Speaker 1: be closer to thirty five than I am thirty four.
- 6:09Speaker 1: But you know what, I actually don't worry about birthdays.
- 6:11Speaker 1: I love them. They're my favorite, and I don't.
- 6:13Speaker 3: Really have more in coming.
- 6:14Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't really.
- 6:15Speaker 1: Worry about getting older or anything like that, because not
- 6:17Speaker 1: everyone gets to have a thirty four and a half birthday.
- 6:20Speaker 3: That's true.
- 6:21Speaker 4: Anybody who gets like you about aging, hello, that means you're.
- 6:24Speaker 3: Still a lie.
- 6:26Speaker 1: Not everyone you know can say they've been thirty four
- 6:28Speaker 1: and a half years old.
- 6:29Speaker 3: That's right.
- 6:30Speaker 2: I'm happy about that. We'll see.
- 6:32Speaker 1: I'll probably, I swear to god, I'll probably go out
- 6:34Speaker 1: to dinner and celebrate today.
- 6:36Speaker 3: Can I go?
- 6:37Speaker 1: And I'll probably you know, when I get there, I'll
- 6:39Speaker 1: be like, Oh, it's my half birthday. Do I get
- 6:42Speaker 1: like a cupcake with a candle on it?
- 6:44Speaker 3: Get half a cup day? That's right, don't handle but
- 6:47Speaker 3: the lighter right next to take it.
- 6:48Speaker 2: I'll take it.
- 6:54Speaker 1: The problem.
- 6:56Speaker 2: We're going to find out if someone is the problem.
- 6:58Speaker 4: Yes, our friend Sarah emailed us, Hey, Gabe and Angie,
- 7:05Speaker 4: love you guys. I wanted to know if I'm the problem.
- 7:09Speaker 4: You wouldn't expect the use of condiments at the dinner
- 7:11Speaker 4: table to be a source of controversy, but it did
- 7:14Speaker 4: once at my house. My family apparently does not understand
- 7:18Speaker 4: the concept of gravity and refuses to keep the ketchup
- 7:22Speaker 4: and mayo positioned as it is intended. I have to
- 7:26Speaker 4: watch them pick it up and smack smack smack the
- 7:29Speaker 4: bottom trying to get it to come out. One day,
- 7:32Speaker 4: I couldn't take it any longer. I pointed out that
- 7:34Speaker 4: the containers are meant to be kept upside down with
- 7:38Speaker 4: the lid at the bottom, so it's ready to be
- 7:41Speaker 4: easily dispensed when you're ready. I even pointed out that
- 7:45Speaker 4: this is not a matter of opinion. Just look at
- 7:47Speaker 4: the label and you can see they intend for it
- 7:50Speaker 4: to sit with the lid at the bottom. They argued
- 7:53Speaker 4: that it doesn't make any difference, and we all want
- 7:55Speaker 4: to know the correct answer.
- 7:58Speaker 1: This is the most family argument I've ever heard my life.
- 8:00Speaker 3: Oh one hundred percent.
- 8:02Speaker 1: You can just I picture this family sitting around at
- 8:04Speaker 1: dinner table and go, no, the label this, Oh gosh,
- 8:08Speaker 1: this is great.
- 8:09Speaker 2: This sounds like my house all over again.
- 8:11Speaker 4: Well, listen, I'm with Sarah because a I'm a rule follower.
- 8:16Speaker 3: You know this about me, Gabe. So if the label is.
- 8:22Speaker 4: If the label is right side up when the bottle
- 8:26Speaker 4: is upside down, then that's how.
- 8:28Speaker 3: You're supposed to do it.
- 8:30Speaker 4: It is such an annoying thing to have to pick
- 8:33Speaker 4: up the ketchup or the Mayo bottle and have to
- 8:36Speaker 4: like shake it before you do anything, because how gross
- 8:40Speaker 4: it is when that like tomato water or like the
- 8:44Speaker 4: Mayo oil comes out first, because it wasn't properly like shaken.
- 8:49Speaker 4: And the way to avoid that is to just have
- 8:52Speaker 4: them as they were intended. Lid down. Gabe, every time
- 8:58Speaker 4: I swear like we never allow on anything. What is
- 9:01Speaker 4: your take on this game? What are you gonna tell
- 9:04Speaker 4: Sarah right now?
- 9:06Speaker 1: I don't know, Sarah. How about we chill out? Who cares?
- 9:11Speaker 1: You're getting a big argument over condiments? Now here's what
- 9:15Speaker 1: I will say.
- 9:16Speaker 3: Just do it.
- 9:16Speaker 1: How the label looks right, if the letters are whatever direction,
- 9:21Speaker 1: just put it that way.
- 9:22Speaker 2: Yes, Sarah's family.
- 9:23Speaker 1: But Sarah, if this is the biggest controversy you go
- 9:28Speaker 1: through today, I'd say you have a pretty darn good life.
- 9:31Speaker 1: It sounds like Sarah is more interested in being right
- 9:34Speaker 1: than having a good relationship with her family.
- 9:37Speaker 2: How about that, Sarah.
- 9:40Speaker 1: I'm just kidding. Sarah's one hundred percent right. Put the
- 9:42Speaker 1: dang condiments correctly. Squad around you, But how about we
- 9:45Speaker 1: just chill out over condiment arguments. This is something you
- 9:48Speaker 1: would only do with your siblings or your parents or whatever.
- 9:52Speaker 1: You would never like if your friend came over, your
- 9:54Speaker 1: good friend came over, yeah, or you go out to
- 9:57Speaker 1: eat and they put the ketchup wrong. You're not gonna
- 10:00Speaker 1: be like, hey, stupid, change the ketchum.
- 10:02Speaker 3: No, but you're gonna talk about them when they leave.
- 10:04Speaker 2: You would only do this to your siblings.
- 10:07Speaker 1: So, Sarah, I'm with you, but relax, all right, we're
- 10:10Speaker 1: talking condiments for crying out.
- 10:12Speaker 4: Out seven oh one too eight A one nine to
- 10:14Speaker 4: eighty seven. Are you team Sarah or are you team
- 10:17Speaker 4: Sarah's family where you just think it does not matter.
- 10:26Speaker 1: Oh, you might not have to go to work, but
- 10:27Speaker 1: I feel like we all have that one friend or
- 10:29Speaker 1: you know, that one person that just can't stop.
- 10:33Speaker 5: You know.
- 10:33Speaker 1: It's almost like they live to work instead of work
- 10:36Speaker 1: to live like most people.
- 10:38Speaker 4: I always think of remembering Rugrats, Angelica's mom always always
- 10:43Speaker 4: on a work call.
- 10:44Speaker 2: That's always yeah.
- 10:45Speaker 1: Well, it turns out Mindy Kaling is supposedly that person
- 10:50Speaker 1: to her friends, Kate Hudson and her they have this show.
- 10:55Speaker 3: All running point. Yes, I like that show it's on Netflix, and.
- 10:58Speaker 1: Kate has come out to say just how amazing Mindy
- 11:01Speaker 1: is and they've really had this awesome friendship.
- 11:03Speaker 2: She's fallen in love with this woman.
- 11:05Speaker 1: And she also added when she was pregnant, we had
- 11:09Speaker 1: a script our first table read. She's on zoom. She
- 11:13Speaker 1: then had the baby and was sending notes an hour
- 11:17Speaker 1: after she had the baby. I was like, isn't Mindy
- 11:20Speaker 1: literally in labor that she just constantly a workhorse?
- 11:25Speaker 2: This Mindy Kaling me.
- 11:27Speaker 3: I love Mindy Kayaling.
- 11:28Speaker 2: Yeah, she's awesome.
- 11:29Speaker 1: And I was wondering this morning, is there someone you know,
- 11:32Speaker 1: and maybe not necessarily like labor, but someone you know
- 11:36Speaker 1: who will just always answer, whether it's a work call
- 11:40Speaker 1: or even if they're busy, they'll step away and they
- 11:43Speaker 1: have no problem. They just know they have to get
- 11:45Speaker 1: this done. Is there someone in your life like that?
- 11:47Speaker 1: Seven oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven.
- 11:51Speaker 1: I'll tell you right now, Angie, ninety seven percent of
- 11:54Speaker 1: my friends should just take their phone and chuck it
- 11:57Speaker 1: in the Mississippi River. They don't need a phone, they
- 12:00Speaker 1: need just a text cube a text. I think they
- 12:04Speaker 1: know how to answer it. I think it's disabled on
- 12:07Speaker 1: their their phone settings. They do not know what it
- 12:10Speaker 1: means to hear ring ring hello, that I am.
- 12:13Speaker 4: A chronic phone screener. So I do not answer the
- 12:18Speaker 4: phone until I'm.
- 12:20Speaker 1: Calling you every single day the second we leave, and
- 12:23Speaker 1: then every single day before I go.
- 12:25Speaker 4: To I'm not going to answer, Gabe, like I don't
- 12:29Speaker 4: I always and it's not even I could be completely
- 12:32Speaker 4: free and clear, but I don't answer. I don't know
- 12:34Speaker 4: what gives me anxiety. But then I'll call you back.
- 12:36Speaker 4: So it's like, what was the point? Just answer the phone,
- 12:38Speaker 4: I will say. Though my ex husband, he is someone
- 12:42Speaker 4: who he is always on call. If his work calls him,
- 12:45Speaker 4: he immediately picks up and starts chatting away about whatever
- 12:49Speaker 4: work is right, could never be.
- 12:51Speaker 1: Seven one two eight zero one nine eight seven. We
- 12:54Speaker 1: have Brandy on the phone. Brandy, what about you.
- 12:57Speaker 4: There's this one guy on my team who literally answered
- 12:59Speaker 4: a client all mid root.
- 13:01Speaker 2: Now we're talking, it's.
- 13:02Speaker 3: Now full of cotton doing.
- 13:04Speaker 1: Project up gates like it's totally normal.
- 13:07Speaker 5: I don't know if I admire him or he to
- 13:09Speaker 5: stage an intervention that's insane.
- 13:12Speaker 3: Yeah, no, during a root canal, you got to.
- 13:14Speaker 1: Respect the hustle. Though A fine kind of got to
- 13:17Speaker 1: respect it.
- 13:19Speaker 3: If you say so, Gabe, I don't though.
- 13:21Speaker 2: Like business ain't gonna wait. You know, we do have
- 13:25Speaker 2: David as well. David, what about you?
- 13:27Speaker 3: Oh that's me.
- 13:28Speaker 1: I totally do that.
- 13:29Speaker 4: I was at my sister's wedding and.
- 13:30Speaker 1: I had to take a.
- 13:31Speaker 2: Business called to hate doing.
- 13:33Speaker 1: That, but it's super important that I don't ignore my business.
- 13:35Speaker 5: I know my family hates it, but I kind of
- 13:38Speaker 5: have no choice.
- 13:39Speaker 4: No, I think you have a choice. See, I don't
- 13:41Speaker 4: like David. I'm sorry, but I don't like that.
- 13:43Speaker 1: Yeah, but David probably sits in a luxury suite at
- 13:46Speaker 1: the Bison games, like he probably gets it done, you know.
- 13:50Speaker 3: What I mean saying that.
- 13:51Speaker 4: My problem is that I don't answer the phone right away,
- 13:54Speaker 4: and that's why I'm a brokie and I don't have
- 13:56Speaker 4: luxury anything.
- 14:00Speaker 5: Are you allowed to dibbs baby names if you are
- 14:09Speaker 5: a parent, which I am not.
- 14:11Speaker 1: I don't exactly know the rules. This was something I
- 14:14Speaker 1: saw on my own Facebook feed yesterday. Basically, these two ladies,
- 14:21Speaker 1: they're like best friends, you know, kind of like, oh
- 14:23Speaker 1: she's like my sister.
- 14:24Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, Like I love your impression, Gabe.
- 14:29Speaker 1: Right, and well, they're having a bit of an argument
- 14:33Speaker 1: via social media, which has been vastly entertaining to read through.
- 14:38Speaker 1: Probably not the greatest thing to do on a public
- 14:39Speaker 1: platform now, but we love it.
- 14:41Speaker 3: We love it.
- 14:42Speaker 2: I'm all for it.
- 14:43Speaker 1: Essentially, one of them got pregnant, is going to name
- 14:46Speaker 1: the kid this name, and this friend of hers was like, wait,
- 14:50Speaker 1: we talked about the names we were gonna do, and
- 14:53Speaker 1: I said I wanted that name.
- 14:54Speaker 2: Now you're gonna go ahead.
- 14:55Speaker 1: And so I wanted to know, are you allowed to
- 14:58Speaker 1: sort of dibbs a baby name one hundred?
- 15:03Speaker 3: Okay?
- 15:04Speaker 1: I would have thought it was like a first come,
- 15:05Speaker 1: first serve kind of thing. Whoever gets knocked up first
- 15:08Speaker 1: gets the DIBs.
- 15:09Speaker 4: Oh, you simple, simple man, Gaba, No, you can call DIBs.
- 15:14Speaker 4: In fact, there's this episode of Sex in the City,
- 15:17Speaker 4: and I feel like all the ladies have seen this
- 15:19Speaker 4: episode where the girls go to the baby shower of
- 15:23Speaker 4: a friend that they haven't seen in a long time,
- 15:25Speaker 4: and she says that she's naming her daughter Shila, and
- 15:29Speaker 4: Charlotte loses her mind because she had always said and
- 15:34Speaker 4: she told that woman that she wanted to name her
- 15:37Speaker 4: baby Shila. And then the friend is like, I don't
- 15:40Speaker 4: know what you're talking about. I don't remember, and it
- 15:41Speaker 4: was this big hullabaloo and they leave the baby shower
- 15:44Speaker 4: because it's like, how dare she I had DIBs on
- 15:48Speaker 4: the name Shila, And I feel like that's so relatable
- 15:52Speaker 4: because yeah, if I have discussed with you what I
- 15:55Speaker 4: want to name my future kid and you're like, I
- 15:58Speaker 4: got pregnant first, I'm taking it by like, that's rude,
- 16:00Speaker 4: that's disrespectful, You're not a good friend to me. I
- 16:03Speaker 4: understand that there are only so many names in the world, right,
- 16:06Speaker 4: and so there's gonna be over know if.
- 16:08Speaker 1: There's only so many I mean, there's a lot of
- 16:10Speaker 1: options out there.
- 16:11Speaker 4: Well yeah, okay, for example, though my kid, my kids
- 16:15Speaker 4: with their basic little names.
- 16:16Speaker 3: I've got little Aiden and I've got.
- 16:19Speaker 4: Little Liam, So Liam and Aiden admittedly basic names. But
- 16:24Speaker 4: if I my best friend was like, oh, I'm gonna
- 16:27Speaker 4: name my kid Liam before I could pop my Liam out,
- 16:31Speaker 4: I'd be like, but I told Joe was gonna name
- 16:33Speaker 4: my kid Liam. Why would you do that? Because now
- 16:34Speaker 4: it's gonna seem I'm copying you. Then it's gonna be
- 16:36Speaker 4: confusion when we're on the playground. I just feel like
- 16:39Speaker 4: if your friend calls DIBs on a name, you can
- 16:42Speaker 4: find another name to name your kid.
- 16:46Speaker 3: I girl girl code.
- 16:49Speaker 4: I wanted to name if I had a girl, I
- 16:51Speaker 4: wanted to name her Ala, but I ended up only
- 16:55Speaker 4: having two boys. I'm not gonna have another kid ever.
- 16:59Speaker 4: And so now goes back out into the world.
- 17:02Speaker 2: Okay, it's up for grabs.
- 17:03Speaker 3: It's up for grabs. You know what.
- 17:04Speaker 4: One of our salespeople here, she's pregnant and she doesn't
- 17:07Speaker 4: know what she's having, a boy or girl. They're saving
- 17:09Speaker 4: it as a surprise. But people are, you know, giving
- 17:12Speaker 4: her name suggestions. And I suggested Aila because now I
- 17:15Speaker 4: have no ties to it now. Sure so Aila, if
- 17:18Speaker 4: we get a baby Aila as part of the team
- 17:21Speaker 4: here Big ninety eight point seven, I'm gonna be really excited.
- 17:24Speaker 4: But yeah, DIBs are a for sure fair thing.
- 17:27Speaker 1: I'm learning about girl code here. I guess I gotta
- 17:29Speaker 1: update my index. I just I would kind of think like,
- 17:34Speaker 1: there's not a whole lot you can really do about it,
- 17:36Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. If someone's pregnant, first they
- 17:38Speaker 1: have the kid, and then that's their name. It's like
- 17:40Speaker 1: you can be annoyed. But you can't really stop anyone
- 17:43Speaker 1: from no.
- 17:43Speaker 4: But you know what you can do and the friendship.
- 17:52Speaker 1: And we do have a little gauge good news of
- 17:55Speaker 1: the day today unlock a new fear for any dog
- 17:59Speaker 1: owner out there. But of course it would not be
- 18:02Speaker 1: Gabe's good news.
- 18:02Speaker 2: Of the day.
- 18:03Speaker 3: Oh yeah, Okay, it's gonna end good, all right.
- 18:05Speaker 1: In the end, Gray right, Well, there was this Boston
- 18:09Speaker 1: terrier named Moose. Fabulous name for the Boston terrier by
- 18:13Speaker 1: the way, that was recently rescued after spending thirty six
- 18:17Speaker 1: hours in a landfill.
- 18:20Speaker 2: All right.
- 18:20Speaker 1: What happened was it took an accidental car ride, not
- 18:24Speaker 1: car ride, but accidental ride in a garbage truck. Oh man,
- 18:29Speaker 1: This dog, who is said to have this adventurous streak,
- 18:32Speaker 1: he jumped into a dumpster at his family's business and
- 18:36Speaker 1: was unknowingly picked up by the garbage truck, compacted and
- 18:42Speaker 1: transported to the dump before his family realized he was gone. Now,
- 18:46Speaker 1: fortunately the incident was caught on surveillance footage and there
- 18:50Speaker 1: was a tracker on Moose's collar. With the help of
- 18:53Speaker 1: family and friends, he was eventually found uninjured. Despite it
- 18:58Speaker 1: being a huge or could you imagine. I could not imagine.
- 19:03Speaker 1: I'm at work, you know, it's a nice It's eight
- 19:06Speaker 1: point fifty three on a Thursday, and I get a
- 19:08Speaker 1: call from the Fargo Landfill and it's like, Hey, do
- 19:12Speaker 1: you happen to have a dog named Wanona? You know,
- 19:15Speaker 1: weighs about seventy pounds, is kind of a goldish red
- 19:18Speaker 1: lab looking thing.
- 19:20Speaker 3: Yeah, oh yeah, I do?
- 19:21Speaker 2: You know I do?
- 19:21Speaker 1: Why, well we actually have her at the landfill. I
- 19:25Speaker 1: would lose my mind.
- 19:29Speaker 3: Well, I'm glad that that did not happen.
- 19:31Speaker 4: It has not happened to you, And I'm glad that
- 19:34Speaker 4: this family got their moose back.
- 19:36Speaker 1: That's right, which is a fabulous dog name. By the way,
- 19:38Speaker 1: the world's full of nice people. If you can't find one,
- 19:41Speaker 1: you gotta be one.
