For every black person who feels called to write a book, now is the time to do it. Black books make a difference to black people and to the country at large. They shine a light on black excellence, the black experience in all its diversity, and black knowledge. We have a privilege of living in a time when we no longer need the permission of a publisher to write our books and get them in the hands of readers. Write your book. Tell your story. Share your knowledge. Own your part of history.
