- 0:00SPEAKER_00: Anytime a kid is having a challenge or a struggle with anything, whether it's with you or at school or with friends, there's always a message there.
- 0:11SPEAKER_00: So if you can just hold the space for your child to feel seen, heard, and acknowledged, that will clear so much generational trauma.
- 0:22SPEAKER_00: Like we're good to go.
- 0:26SPEAKER_00: Welcome to Reclaiming Consciousness.
- 0:29SPEAKER_00: My name is Elise Bassine, spiritual mentor, breathwork practitioner, and owner and CEO of Elise Breeds.
- 0:36SPEAKER_00: For many years, our consciousness has been hijacked by societal and cultural programming, religion, the media, and familial and ancestral trauma.
- 0:45SPEAKER_00: Right now, during this epic time in history, people are waking up, realizing who they really are, and reclaiming the pieces of their consciousness that they unknowingly gave away.
- 0:56SPEAKER_00: This podcast is an exploration of how so many spectacular humans are leading the way in exiting the matrix and reclaiming who they really are and what they're capable of.
- 1:08SPEAKER_00: In this show, you'll meet exceptional people who are paving the way in raising consciousness and creating a new way of living on this earth.
- 1:15SPEAKER_00: Get ready to go deep.
- 1:17SPEAKER_00: Now let's dive in.
- 1:23SPEAKER_00: Hi everyone, welcome back to the show.
- 1:26SPEAKER_00: So this week I'm talking about being a mom.
- 1:29SPEAKER_00: And this is something that I don't always talk about, but just the same way that I always talk about how your relationships are one of the biggest factors in growing your business.
- 1:44SPEAKER_00: Your relationship with your kids will be the same way.
- 1:47SPEAKER_00: And I have helped so many women at this point navigate challenging relationships with kids of all ages and stepkids in order to experience not only amazing results with their kids and in their homes, but also the way that that ripples into growing your business because it's all related.
- 2:09SPEAKER_00: And some of the biggest challenges that I have navigated with my own kids and also with helping my clients, I've really seen the way that that impacts the way that you're able to show up in your business because your kids are always giving you an opportunity for growth and expansion.
- 2:27SPEAKER_00: And I'm going to talk about that today with the five most important lessons I've learned from being a mom.
- 2:33SPEAKER_00: So before I dive in here, just a couple quick announcements.
- 2:37SPEAKER_00: I'm so excited because I'm getting ready to teach the first day of the channeled training today, which is a two-day training where I'm teaching my breath work methodology for channeling.
- 2:50SPEAKER_00: And I have so much energy running through me right now because I can feel the potency of this training.
- 2:57SPEAKER_00: And this is the first time that I'm sharing this information.
- 3:01SPEAKER_00: I mean, obviously, I've been sharing about breath work for a really long time, but you know, this is the first time that I have gathered this information in this way to share with you because breath work to me is the most powerful tool for channeling, simply because not only does it help you access very quickly your higher self, the highest consciousness version of you, but it clears any blocks that you have to accessing that very quickly.
- 3:32SPEAKER_00: And it's pretty much the only way of doing that.
- 3:35SPEAKER_00: I'm very excited to teach it and you can still jump in.
- 3:39SPEAKER_00: I know when this comes out, I will have taught both trainings, but I'm also adding a bonus QA on Friday, which will be tomorrow when this comes out, but you can still purchase the training and have access to it and be able to come on to the QA and ask questions.
- 3:57SPEAKER_00: We will leave the link below so you can have access to that.
- 4:01SPEAKER_00: And then for those of you that would like to go deeper with that information and receive specialized and personalized training on how to use my breathwork for channeling methodology to implement it and integrate it into your life and business.
- 4:18SPEAKER_00: I have the high frequency channel mastermind, which is starting in May.
- 4:24SPEAKER_00: And that's going to be a three-month mastermind where you have a 90-minute one-on-one call with me where I go really deep with you in how to access your channel and implement it into your life and your business.
- 4:40SPEAKER_00: So it's very specific to you and how you are meant to channel because everyone does it differently.
- 4:47SPEAKER_00: And that's why breathwork is such an amazing tool because it allows you to access your way, your journey, because it's different for everyone.
- 4:57SPEAKER_00: And there will also be two uh mastermind calls per month plus uh breathwork activation.
- 5:04SPEAKER_00: And um, right now, until the end of the month, it's on pre-presale.
- 5:09SPEAKER_00: So you're able to join at a$3,000 discount.
- 5:13SPEAKER_00: So if that's something you're feeling called to, then please reach out because you know that pricing is limited until the end of this month.
- 5:21SPEAKER_00: It's going to be unlike anything I've ever taught before.
- 5:25SPEAKER_00: And we're just gonna go very deep into how to channel, how to specifically access your channel to receive information about your business, how to make decisions in your business, strategies in your business, what to offer.
- 5:40SPEAKER_00: And then also, if you don't have a business, it will equally be as beneficial for you to help you move forward with confidence and clarity in life.
- 5:50SPEAKER_00: Because, you know, one of the things that I notice for so many people, especially right now at this time on the planet, is that there is so much information out there.
- 6:00SPEAKER_00: We have access to so much information that it can be overwhelming and it can leave us in this place of feeling stuck and feeling like we don't know how to move forward because we don't know what is the right decision for you and where you are at.
- 6:16SPEAKER_00: And there's so many things that sound like they could be helpful to you or could be the answer, and it's hard to know.
- 6:22SPEAKER_00: And this is the solution for that because once you're able to access your channel through breath work, you don't really have those moments of questioning and you're able to move forward with confidence because you receive the information that's specific to you about what you're meant to do at this particular time.
- 6:42SPEAKER_00: So it really clears up any confusion or self-doubt or questioning or any of those feelings that keep you feeling stuck, like you don't know how to move forward.
- 6:54SPEAKER_00: And it will help you with navigating other parts of your life too, relationship challenges, or if you keep coming up against the same thing with the same person, how to move through that and understand what's happening so that you can move forward and move past some of those challenges.
- 7:12SPEAKER_00: So that is going to kick off in May.
- 7:15SPEAKER_00: Like I said, it's three months, and it is going to be just an incredibly powerful experience if you are interested in learning how to channel and learning how to utilize your channel for very practical reasons to implement in your life and to move forward with clarity, confidence, and just be able to make decisions easily, navigate relationships easily, then this is for you.
- 7:40SPEAKER_00: Oh, and then one more thing.
- 7:41SPEAKER_00: We have real results kicking off at the beginning of April.
- 7:45SPEAKER_00: That is where you learn my methodology to take all of the information that you've learned in your growth process and apply it to create real tangible results.
- 7:55SPEAKER_00: So if you have been doing all the work around your money story, around your mother wound or your family trauma, and you feel like you haven't been able to see the full results that you desire, this is for you because I have created a process that allows you to really enhance the results that you get in any container that you're in.
- 8:18SPEAKER_00: So whatever it is that you're learning about what you want to shift or change in your reality, if you apply this process that I created, it'll enhance the results that you're getting.
- 8:29SPEAKER_00: I really teach you how to apply the information in each moment in order to become the version of yourself that experiences those results.
- 8:40SPEAKER_00: So this is going to be good for you no matter where you are, whether you have a business or not.
- 8:45SPEAKER_00: It's really just about learning how to work with your own energy and work inside your own mind so that you can become different in each moment and experience the results that you desire in your bank account, in your business, in your relationships, all of it.
- 9:05SPEAKER_00: So that's real results.
- 9:07SPEAKER_00: It's only 555.
- 9:09SPEAKER_00: We'll put the link below, but that starts in the beginning of April.
- 9:12SPEAKER_00: It is five teachings that you have access to immediately.
- 9:16SPEAKER_00: So you can get started as soon as you sign up.
- 9:19SPEAKER_00: And then also you will get two QA calls with me where you can bring questions that are specific to you about how you can apply my process.
- 9:28SPEAKER_00: And I will coach you and walk you through how to apply it to those like sticky areas of your life where you feel challenged or stuck and you don't know how to move forward.
- 9:38SPEAKER_00: I will teach you how to apply the process so that you will see the tangible results in those specific areas of your life.
- 9:45SPEAKER_00: Real results is so good.
- 9:46SPEAKER_00: I can't wait for it.
- 9:47SPEAKER_00: Reach out to me if you have questions about that.
- 9:50SPEAKER_00: Now I'm gonna dive in to the five most important lessons I've learned from being a mom.
- 9:55SPEAKER_00: I love talking about this.
- 9:57SPEAKER_00: So, you know, it's interesting.
- 9:59SPEAKER_00: As my kids have grown up, I've really been able to utilize a lot of the information and wisdom that I've learned over the years and in my own process to grow with my kids and to clear ancestral and familial patterns that were handed down to me simply in the way that I've decided to relate to my kids and the way that I choose to perceive or interpret my relationships with them.
- 10:29SPEAKER_00: For those of you who don't know, I have a daughter who is seven, almost eight now, and I have a son who's almost 10.
- 10:37SPEAKER_00: And now they're getting to be these ages where they're like actual people, and I have these really beautiful opportunities to interact with them in a way that is actually healing to me.
- 10:50SPEAKER_00: And that is part of what your relationships with your kids can be if you know how to navigate them.
- 10:57SPEAKER_00: Because when we choose to operate differently than our parents in relation to our kids, it actually is healing for us around the things that we did not receive or the voids or the places that we felt like we didn't get what we needed when we're able to show up for our kids in the way that we needed someone to show up for us.
- 11:21SPEAKER_00: There is a healing that happens and there is a reconciliation through the ancestral lines that has a ripple effect.
- 11:29SPEAKER_00: And then we also don't pass on those patterns and those limiting beliefs, so to say, blocks, whatever you want to call them, we don't pass them on to our kids.
- 11:42SPEAKER_00: And then our kids are free to be more of who they are and their authentic selves in the world.
- 11:47SPEAKER_00: And it creates liberation for everyone.
- 11:51SPEAKER_00: So the first lesson that I've learned, lesson number one, is your kid is a mirror.
- 11:59SPEAKER_00: And, you know, this is not always black and white, you know, because there are various situations that come up with kids that sometimes we're like, how is this a mirror?
- 12:09SPEAKER_00: Or how do I apply this?
- 12:10SPEAKER_00: Because it's not always literal.
- 12:12SPEAKER_00: So I'm gonna give you a few examples, but I notice with my kids, especially my daughter, that she often reflects back to me unhealed needs that I had as a child and gives me the opportunity to be there for her in the way that I needed someone to be there for me when I was growing up.
- 12:34SPEAKER_00: And again, it's not about blaming or saying that, you know, my parents did anything wrong.
- 12:40SPEAKER_00: They just did what they were capable of doing with what they were given.
- 12:45SPEAKER_00: So it's not about blaming, it's just about noticing where I didn't get what I needed and then being able to be there for my daughter in that way.
- 12:55SPEAKER_00: So usually your kids will mirror back to you something that is needed to be healed or an opportunity for healing from when you were the age that they are now.
- 13:08SPEAKER_00: I've worked with so many women who have kids that are young teenagers or teenagers, and this is always a really fun one because they will challenge you and they will mirror things back to you and give you these really potent opportunities for healing.
- 13:25SPEAKER_00: So, you know, I've always noticed with my daughter, especially when I am moving through and processing something from my own childhood where I felt like I didn't get the support I needed, or I wasn't acknowledged, or I needed a level of emotional support that A, I didn't know how to ask for, and B, my parents weren't capable of giving.
- 13:50SPEAKER_00: It's always in those times that my daughter feels super needy to me.
- 13:55SPEAKER_00: And the first kind of instinct for me will be to get annoyed, of course, because you know, I'm processing my own stuff and I'm not really in a place where I feel like giving.
- 14:08SPEAKER_00: But, and this actually happened the other night, if I can see her need as an opportunity to actually reparent myself by being there for her in her time of need, then it really is a beautiful healing.
- 14:23SPEAKER_00: And that's happened for me a bunch of times, including the other night, where she didn't want to go to bed and she was crying and she needed me.
- 14:32SPEAKER_00: And, you know, immediately, because now I'm I'm pretty good at getting the message, right?
- 14:37SPEAKER_00: So I saw it immediately and I was like, oh, she's giving me the opportunity to hold her and to be present with her and to support her and love her unconditionally in this moment.
- 14:49SPEAKER_00: And that's exactly what I did.
- 14:51SPEAKER_00: So, you know, I held her and I have this thing that I do with her that, and I think I've talked to some of my clients about this too, where I am never the one that lets go of the hug first, especially before bed.
- 15:05SPEAKER_00: So we always hug before bed, and I will just hold the hug as long as she wants to hold it.
- 15:12SPEAKER_00: So I'm never the first one to pull away from the hug.
- 15:15SPEAKER_00: So the other night she was like sad and she was super needy and she didn't want to let me go.
- 15:21SPEAKER_00: And I just held her for as long as she needed me to.
- 15:25SPEAKER_00: And it can be challenging for me sometimes because I am learning how to be more present as a mom and I'm learning how to be more patient and more unconditionally loving.
- 15:37SPEAKER_00: And even if there's something that I want to go do or I want to get done, you know, after she goes to bed, or I want to go eat dinner if I haven't eaten dinner yet.
- 15:47SPEAKER_00: But I let myself just drop in to these moments and be present with her.
- 15:53SPEAKER_00: And there is such a healing in that.
- 15:57SPEAKER_00: And it's funny, I always say when I was a school counselor, when I first started, I thought that there was something I needed to do for the kids, right?
- 16:07SPEAKER_00: So, like if a kid would come into my office and they would say, you know, I'm upset about this thing that's happening at home, or I'm upset about this thing that just happened in class, I would always think that there was something I would need to do in order to fix the problem or take the pain away or make them feel better.
- 16:27SPEAKER_00: And I quickly realized that that is actually not even possible, let alone there's usually nothing you can do.
- 16:34SPEAKER_00: But all kids really need is for you to be present, for you to be really present in the moment with them and just hold space.
- 16:42SPEAKER_00: And that is one of the most healing things.
- 16:45SPEAKER_00: And that's one of the things I always talk about in the metamorphosis method, the breathwork certification, is just being present with someone while they breathe is an incredible gift because there's an exchange of energy there when you're present with somebody that is different than anything else that exists on the planet.
- 17:05SPEAKER_00: And when you probably think back to your own childhood or even your own life in general, how many times can you say that somebody was just present with you and held space for you with no agenda, no need, nothing.
- 17:22SPEAKER_00: They just were present.
- 17:24SPEAKER_00: There's a very, very valuable healing just within someone being present with you.
- 17:31SPEAKER_00: That's one of the things that I always will practice with her, especially when she needs something, is to just be present without trying to steer anything anywhere, without having any kind of agenda, or without having any need, or reminding her about the next day or whatever it is we want to do as parents where we feel like we need to, you know, make sure that everything is okay or make sure that they remember what they have to do the next day or whatever it is.
- 18:02SPEAKER_00: And we just settle into the present moment with your kid.
- 18:08SPEAKER_00: There's something really, really valuable in that.
- 18:12SPEAKER_00: And usually, you know, to go back to your child being a mirror, usually whatever they're mirroring back to you is an invitation for you to be present with yourself, to hold space for them and yourself through whatever feeling or emotion is ready to be reconciled at that time.
- 18:33SPEAKER_00: And they will be showing that to you.
- 18:35SPEAKER_00: And all you need to do is be present with them in that moment in order to receive that healing or that reconciliation.
- 18:43SPEAKER_00: So that's number one.
- 18:45SPEAKER_00: And that kind of leads me right into number two, which is your job is to be the supporting actor, not the director of their lives.
- 18:57SPEAKER_00: And I remember uh years ago when I first started my business, I was working with a client and we were, she had a teenage daughter at the time, and she was struggling with, you know, just wanting to be there for her.
- 19:12SPEAKER_00: And, you know, her daughter was experiencing some difficulties.
- 19:15SPEAKER_00: Our first instinct as parents is to want to fix or take the pain away.
- 19:20SPEAKER_00: You know, you don't want your kid to go through something hard because it's hard for you, and you don't want your kid to have to experience pain or upset or fear or whatever it is.
- 19:32SPEAKER_00: So our first instinct is to try to fix the problem or take the pain away.
- 19:38SPEAKER_00: And that's a, like I said before, that I learned from being a school counselor is not actually possible.
- 19:45SPEAKER_00: And we have to allow our kids to just have a human experience.
- 19:50SPEAKER_00: Our job is to be the supporting actor, meaning you just hold space and are present and supportive to them through what they're going through.
- 19:59SPEAKER_00: And, you know, you can offer them advice, you can offer them perspective, but all they really need is a safe place to land and a place that they feel supported in moving through the challenges of life.
- 20:14SPEAKER_00: Because being human is being human.
- 20:17SPEAKER_00: Like we're going to experience pain, loss, anxiety, worry, challenges.
- 20:24SPEAKER_00: Like that's being human.
- 20:26SPEAKER_00: And our job as parents is to just be present and allow them to go through it with you supporting them, you being the supporting actor and just being there for whatever they need to listen, to vent, to cry, whatever it is.
- 20:45SPEAKER_00: You're just there and you're present with them, and you don't make their experience wrong.
- 20:51SPEAKER_00: And you allow them to have whatever experience they're having, and you are just there to support them through it, because that's really all that we need as humans is somebody to love you and care for you and connect with you through the experience of being human, through the experience of growing into an adult.
- 21:15SPEAKER_00: And that's really one of the most valuable things.
- 21:17SPEAKER_00: And I think that if we can all give that to our kids, the next generation will be very different than this one.
- 21:26SPEAKER_00: So that is number two.
- 21:28SPEAKER_00: And then number three is when you change, they change, no matter how old they are.
- 21:34SPEAKER_00: So I always tell the story of when I was a school counselor, you know, there would be kids who would have serious behavior issues.
- 21:44SPEAKER_00: Like they would always get in trouble, or they would never do their work in class, or they would always have an issue with another student, whatever it is.
- 21:54SPEAKER_00: And typically those kids, not all the time, but a lot of the time, there was something On with their parent, right?
- 22:01SPEAKER_00: Either their parent wasn't there, their parent was on drugs, so they weren't available at all, and they were experiencing abandonment or rejection or just the void of not having a parent who was available to them.
- 22:17SPEAKER_00: Every single time, and I saw this happen so many times when I was working as a school counselor, is that if the parent came back into their life, you know, they got off of drugs and they came back and were present in their lives, the kid would change.
- 22:34SPEAKER_00: And all of a sudden, you know, they're not getting in trouble anymore.
- 22:37SPEAKER_00: They're doing their schoolwork, you know, and they just become different.
- 22:42SPEAKER_00: And no one said anything to them.
- 22:44SPEAKER_00: No one said, hey, you got to get your act together, because that never works.
- 22:49SPEAKER_00: Um, but it was just the mere fact that their parent had changed, their parent had grown, their parent had started to show up for themselves, and then in turn showed up for the kid.
- 23:00SPEAKER_00: So the kid changed.
- 23:03SPEAKER_00: And I wholeheartedly believe that the only thing that we need to do in order to support our kids in not, you know, taking on the same trauma that we took on or the same patterns is literally by doing the work on ourselves.
- 23:21SPEAKER_00: And as we change, our kids change.
- 23:23SPEAKER_00: And I've seen that in my own house too.
- 23:26SPEAKER_00: You know, my husband and I have been continuously doing the work on our relationship and on ourselves to not pass on any ancestral trauma or any patterns onto our kids.
- 23:39SPEAKER_00: And every single time that we make certain shifts, the energy in our house changes and our kids change and they're happier and they are, you know, more in harmony with us and with each other and with the world.
- 23:56SPEAKER_00: So this is one that is so important because I have so many people who come to me, especially if they do the metamorphosis and they start learning about birth story and they're like, oh my God, I fucked up my kids.
- 24:10SPEAKER_00: What do I do to change this?
- 24:12SPEAKER_00: I've already fucked them up.
- 24:13SPEAKER_00: And like, that's not true.
- 24:16SPEAKER_00: All that you need to do is continue to do the work on yourself.
- 24:19SPEAKER_00: And that has a ripple effect onto your kids.
- 24:22SPEAKER_00: Always.
- 24:23SPEAKER_00: It always does.
- 24:24SPEAKER_00: So there's really nothing you have to do to like fix anything with your kids other than just do the work on yourself.
- 24:32SPEAKER_00: And they inadvertently will be hugely impacted by that.
- 24:37SPEAKER_00: Because especially even when your kids are older, because we always have a deep connection with our kids, but especially when they're younger, you'll see it more quickly that as soon as you have a big shift in energy, your kids will too.
- 24:52SPEAKER_00: And you'll just notice a difference in their energy, in the energy in your house and just the way that everyone is interacting with each other.
- 25:02SPEAKER_00: It will feel more loving, more connected, more regulated.
- 25:08SPEAKER_00: It'll just change.
- 25:09SPEAKER_00: So that's one of the biggest things, too, is just that as you change, your kids change and you can rely on that.
- 25:16SPEAKER_00: And it is one of the biggest motivating factors for so many people in doing the inner work, because then you don't pass stuff on to your kids.
- 25:26SPEAKER_00: And even if they're older, it will change things.
- 25:29SPEAKER_00: So don't think that just because, you know, if your kids are grown, that they won't be impacted by you doing the work, because they will, they for sure will.
- 25:38SPEAKER_00: Even if they don't necessarily realize it, they will.
- 25:42SPEAKER_00: There is a ripple effect, there's energetic cords that go down the ancestral lines.
- 25:47SPEAKER_00: And by you shifting something within yourself, shifting a pattern of energy, shifting a belief system, healing, trauma, they will a hundred percent be affected and they won't be carrying that anymore.
- 26:01SPEAKER_00: It's a really magical thing that I can a hundred percent say is the truth because I've witnessed it over and over and over again with clients, with students as a school counselor, and in my own house.
- 26:15SPEAKER_00: So, number four, every challenge is an opportunity for healing and deeper connection with your child.
- 26:21SPEAKER_00: So, this is one that I really want to invite everybody to release like this old paradigm way of thinking of like treating the behavior, because this is something that I would always come up against when I was a school counselor, is if there was a kid that had a behavior problem, the conversation was always, well, what do we do about this behavior?
- 26:44SPEAKER_00: How do we change the behavior?
- 26:46SPEAKER_00: And I quickly realized that that is the wrong question to be asking, because you're not gonna change the behavior.
- 26:54SPEAKER_00: Even if you try, and even if you do the thing where you're like, okay, we're gonna give you a jelly bean or something every time you do a new behavior, that might work for a little bit, but it's never going to work fully because we're not addressing the underlying issue.
- 27:10SPEAKER_00: So anytime a kid is having a challenge or a struggle with anything, whether it's with you or at school or with friends, there's always a message.
- 27:20SPEAKER_00: There's always a message there.
- 27:22SPEAKER_00: For me, for example, my son this year at school started having challenges with teachers and with kids.
- 27:30SPEAKER_00: And I immediately was like, okay, what is the message here?
- 27:34SPEAKER_00: What does he need?
- 27:35SPEAKER_00: Because this is a message to me that he needs something that he's not getting.
- 27:40SPEAKER_00: And I immediately realized that he had more needs than were being met at his current school.
- 27:47SPEAKER_00: And now he's changing schools.
- 27:49SPEAKER_00: And again, that doesn't mean that everyone has to do that.
- 27:52SPEAKER_00: This was a situation specific to me.
- 27:54SPEAKER_00: And I was able to see that based on his energy and his sensitivities, he needed to be in a different environment.
- 28:01SPEAKER_00: So instead of looking at his behavior and saying, what's wrong with him?
- 28:06SPEAKER_00: How do I stop the behavior?
- 28:08SPEAKER_00: I immediately said, What is this behavior telling me?
- 28:11SPEAKER_00: What is the message that I need to receive about this behavior?
- 28:16SPEAKER_00: And then how can I take action on that message in order to shift the energy of the situation?
- 28:22SPEAKER_00: So that's how I always look at challenges with kids.
- 28:26SPEAKER_00: And I think that this is an incredibly important perspective shift to have, especially if you have a kid that you have a lot of challenges with, asking yourself, what is the message that they are trying to send you through this challenge?
- 28:41SPEAKER_00: And that can be a hard question to answer, right?
- 28:43SPEAKER_00: Especially if it's like, you know, something that's going on with a teenager or, you know, something that is a little more complex.
- 28:50SPEAKER_00: It's not always a simple thing to see, especially if you're in it.
- 28:54SPEAKER_00: And I definitely recommend reaching out for support if you are experiencing something that is like over and over and over again and you're not sure how to handle it.
- 29:04SPEAKER_00: That's something I can always help with, or if you have a therapist or anything like that to help you navigate what's actually happening underneath the surface, but most likely there is a need that they have that is not being met and they're expressing it through this behavior or this challenge.
- 29:23SPEAKER_00: It's actually really very simple.
- 29:25SPEAKER_00: We just have to learn how to read these situations and scenarios.
- 29:30SPEAKER_00: And a lot of times it could be that if they're coming up against a challenge with you or another parent, then it could be something that the parent is being invited to shift as well.
- 29:42SPEAKER_00: And that has happened multiple times with my son and my husband too.
- 29:47SPEAKER_00: And luckily, my husband is open to, you know, hearing my synopsis of what's happening between the two of them.
- 29:54SPEAKER_00: And he's been amazing at shifting his energy and the way he relates to our son.
- 30:00SPEAKER_00: And now, you know, their relationship is amazing.
- 30:03SPEAKER_00: But a lot of times, you know, the child will be reflecting back to you or your partner what it is that they need to shift or heal within themselves so that they can relate to their kid differently.
- 30:17SPEAKER_00: Because a lot of times we can unknowingly relate to our kids based on our own wounds or our own places where we don't feel sufficient or our own beliefs about ourselves and what's wrong with us and all of that.
- 30:33SPEAKER_00: So a lot of times your kid can be reflecting that back to you as well.
- 30:38SPEAKER_00: But the biggest takeaway for this one is really just about reading the situation as giving you a message and what is that message?
- 30:49SPEAKER_00: And then how can I take the information from that message and take action on it so that the needs of my child are getting met?
- 30:57SPEAKER_00: And sometimes it could be, you know, just spending more quality time with them.
- 31:02SPEAKER_00: I feel like that goes a really long way.
- 31:04SPEAKER_00: I did this parenting course back when my kids were little, and that was one of like the biggest things that they said is to spend quality alone time with just like the kid and the parent at least once a week or once every couple of weeks, where it's just you and them one-on-one and you like do something together because sometimes that's all kids need, just to bring it back to you know, talking about being present, a lot of times they just need someone to be present with them and to make that a priority can usually make all of the difference.
- 31:38SPEAKER_00: So just throwing that out there.
- 31:40SPEAKER_00: Number five, you can't do it wrong.
- 31:43SPEAKER_00: So this one might be a little controversial because obviously there are people that do things that are really messed up as parents, but I'm not really talking to those people.
- 31:54SPEAKER_00: I'm talking to you, my audience, who I know is committed to growth and being the best version of yourself.
- 32:02SPEAKER_00: So as long as you are willing to grow, as long as you're willing to change, as long as you're open to looking at things differently, then you can't do it wrong.
- 32:13SPEAKER_00: I say that because it's not like there's this static thing where it's like, okay, well, I fucked up.
- 32:20SPEAKER_00: So now that's it and it's just over.
- 32:23SPEAKER_00: That's never the case.
- 32:25SPEAKER_00: There's always a way to shift things.
- 32:28SPEAKER_00: There's always an opportunity for healing.
- 32:30SPEAKER_00: There's always an opportunity for change, no matter how old your kid is, whether they're an adult or they're really little, as long as you are open to change and as long as you are open to growth, you can't do it wrong.
- 32:43SPEAKER_00: So I think it's just really important to liberate yourself from feeling like you are doing something wrong as a parent or from not trusting yourself as a parent, because that just leads to more self-doubt and shame and guilt.
- 33:00SPEAKER_00: And like there's really no point in any of that stuff.
- 33:04SPEAKER_00: Feeling guilty as a mom is the most pointless use of energy ever.
- 33:09SPEAKER_00: And I know that from experience because, you know, especially as I started my business four years ago now, I've gone through so many iterations of feeling guilty about not spending enough time with my kids or feeling guilty about focusing too much on my business.
- 33:25SPEAKER_00: And let me just tell you, that feeling doesn't get me anywhere.
- 33:29SPEAKER_00: What does get me anywhere is to just be intentional with spending time with my kids and being present with them and being present when I'm with them and then being present in my business when I'm choosing to be in my business.
- 33:43SPEAKER_00: So there's no point in feeling guilt or shame.
- 33:46SPEAKER_00: It's really just about deciding what your priorities are and being intentional with your energy and being intentional with where you're placing your attention and just being intentional with the version of yourself that you want to be in the presence of your kids in order to be the most supportive to them and a contribution to their growth and them feeling confident and supported and connected and loved.
- 34:14SPEAKER_00: That's what I mean by you can't do it wrong.
- 34:16SPEAKER_00: And this is something I teach inside the metamorphosis method when I teach about facilitating breath work.
- 34:23SPEAKER_00: And I always say this when you're doing breath work with me too, is that you can't do it wrong because you really can't.
- 34:30SPEAKER_00: When you lay down to breathe, if you have the intention to breathe and that you're going to do it and whatever is supposed to happen will happen, then whatever is supposed to happen will happen.
- 34:42SPEAKER_00: And it's the same thing with parenting.
- 34:44SPEAKER_00: If you have the intention that you're going to continue to grow, continue to be the best version of yourself and continue to be open to looking at things differently, listening to your kid.
- 34:56SPEAKER_00: This is another thing that's so important for parents.
- 35:00SPEAKER_00: And I think this is something that we've been trained to bypass because I think our parents' generation was trained not to listen to their kids and you know that your kids don't know anything and you're the authority and all of that.
- 35:14SPEAKER_00: And as parents, it is our job to guide and support and give advice and, you know, protect them and be kind of like a beacon of light for them and help guide them through being human.
- 35:28SPEAKER_00: But at the same time, listening to them and how they feel and allowing them to feel heard and being present with them while they express how they feel to you and not making their experience wrong will get you so far.
- 35:45SPEAKER_00: I mean, that is really what kids need is they want to feel heard, they want to feel acknowledged.
- 35:50SPEAKER_00: And think about your own growth process and how much of it is recovering from the trauma of not feeling seen, heard, or acknowledged as a child.
- 36:00SPEAKER_00: So if you can just hold the space for your child to feel seen, heard, and acknowledged, that will clear so much generational trauma.
- 36:11SPEAKER_00: Like we're good to go.
- 36:14SPEAKER_00: So I think that's the most important thing, really, is to allow them to feel that way.
- 36:20SPEAKER_00: Cause think about if you felt that way growing up, how you might be different now or how things might have been more on like a faster trajectory for you.
- 36:32SPEAKER_00: And again, it's not to make anyone right or wrong.
- 36:35SPEAKER_00: It's just to say that that is a need that kids have and we get to heal our unmet needs through fulfilling that for our kids.
- 36:44SPEAKER_00: So it gets to be this beautiful healing experience for everyone, and we get to move forward in a way where we get to be more authentic and our kids get to be more authentic as well, because they then feel comfortable being themselves in your presence, which is a huge gift.
- 37:04SPEAKER_00: Those are my five things.
- 37:07SPEAKER_00: And I just want to say if you want to dive deeper into this type of work, the metamorphosis is for you.
- 37:14SPEAKER_00: If you have not done it already, we will be running the metamorphosis again live this summer, but you can always sign up for it now and get access to all of the material, and then you'll just be included in the next live round.
- 37:29SPEAKER_00: So that's the place to really go deeper into a lot of this stuff if you desire.
- 37:35SPEAKER_00: And then if you desire to, you know, go deeper as far as one-on-one with me, you can always add that to the metamorphosis as well.
- 37:44SPEAKER_00: So just reach out to me.
- 37:45SPEAKER_00: And then also if you join the mothership, you get automatic access to the metamorphosis, which is like kind of a no-brainer if you're interested in doing any of my other programs.
- 37:55SPEAKER_00: Like, you know, all the other programs are included in the mothership, real results, which is coming up, and then we have past lives and money coming up after that, the sacred money mind, then the metamorphosis.
- 38:07SPEAKER_00: So all that's included in the mothership, along with a monthly call, a telegram chat, and a bunch of other goodies that are, you know, every other training, masterclass, and there's a huge library of stuff that you get access to, along with a group live breath work session.
- 38:24SPEAKER_00: So it's everything.
- 38:25SPEAKER_00: So that's another way to go deeper into this work as well.
- 38:29SPEAKER_00: If this is piquing your interest and you're like, I need to understand more, I need to go deeper into this stuff, that would be for you.
- 38:37SPEAKER_00: I am gonna leave it here.
