Dr Eric Bates is professor of internal medicine and cardiology at the University of Michigan. He is also the deputy editor for JACC Case Reports. Dr Bates graduated from Princeton University and the University of Michigan Medical School. He trained in internal medicine and cardiology at the University of Michigan Hospitals. His major clinical interests include acute myocardial infarction, acute coronary syndromes, and coronary artery disease.
