- 0:48SPEAKER_02: I'm so excited to have you on.
- 0:49SPEAKER_02: Thanks for coming on the Live Well Podcast.
- 0:52SPEAKER_00: Oh my god, thank you.
- 0:53SPEAKER_00: I'm so excited to be here.
- 0:54SPEAKER_00: I'm a fan of your podcast.
- 0:56SPEAKER_00: I listen all the time.
- 0:57SPEAKER_02: Oh, thank you.
- 0:58SPEAKER_02: Wow, I didn't know that.
- 0:59SPEAKER_02: How I feel.
- 1:00SPEAKER_02: Thank you.
- 1:00SPEAKER_02: Um, yeah, I love it.
- 1:02SPEAKER_02: Your intro is so fun, guys.
- 1:04SPEAKER_02: You have to go listen to her intro.
- 1:05SPEAKER_02: It's like, try and underestimate me.
- 1:07SPEAKER_02: That'll be fun.
- 1:08SPEAKER_02: And I'm like, it's so sassy and I love it.
- 1:11SPEAKER_02: So I always like, I love that.
- 1:13SPEAKER_02: So for those who for those people who don't know who you are, can you just give a brief kind of description of like what you do, who you are, and yeah.
- 1:22SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:22SPEAKER_00: Um, so for those of you that don't know me, I'm more commonly known on Instagram as Brittany CEO.
- 1:28SPEAKER_00: Literally, people call me that in the streets.
- 1:30SPEAKER_00: It's so bizarre.
- 1:33SPEAKER_00: Um, I am a business coach and I teach, you know, how to keep things super simple in your business to scale and grow and grow online.
- 1:42SPEAKER_00: And that's been my journey.
- 1:44SPEAKER_00: Like, I had to simplify things in order to create the life that I wanted.
- 1:48SPEAKER_00: So that's what I share over on the podcast, over on Instagram, all those good things.
- 1:53SPEAKER_02: Now I know your story and where you kind of come from, but have you always like had this business?
- 2:00SPEAKER_02: Was it was it easy for you?
- 2:01SPEAKER_02: Did you struggle?
- 2:02SPEAKER_02: Like, kind of paint us a picture of like where maybe you used to be to like where you are now.
- 2:09SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 2:10SPEAKER_00: So when I first started my business, I was doing social media marketing solely.
- 2:15SPEAKER_00: So people were coming to me for that kind of work.
- 2:17SPEAKER_00: And I was working like, I'm not even joking, at least a 60-hour work week, probably more than that every single week.
- 2:24SPEAKER_00: I would literally wake up, slam open my laptop.
- 2:28SPEAKER_00: I wouldn't even have time to shower.
- 2:29SPEAKER_00: Like it's actually insane thinking about it back the way I used to be.
- 2:33SPEAKER_00: But I was an extreme workaholic.
- 2:36SPEAKER_00: I worked all the time.
- 2:37SPEAKER_00: And I just one day realized, like, wait a second, I don't actually want to live this way.
- 2:43SPEAKER_00: This is not actually the vision I have for myself.
- 2:46SPEAKER_00: And so I decided that I was gonna do everything I could to change this and build my life first and my business in and around that.
- 2:54SPEAKER_00: And I knew that as soon as I did that for myself, I wanted to help other business owners do the same thing because I knew far too many women, especially who were just sacrificing their time with their family and sacrificing time in their relationships and time with themselves, all in the name of growing our businesses.
- 3:14SPEAKER_00: And it's just so funny to me because you've probably seen this meme float around online and it's like, oh, we all joined entrepreneurship to get out of the nine to five, and then it's like the only job you have that you work more than nine to five.
- 3:25SPEAKER_00: And it's like, okay, that's a sickening joke because, like, why are we doing that?
- 3:30SPEAKER_00: You know, like that's not actually why we started, and so that's where my journey really comes from.
- 3:35SPEAKER_00: And I've gotten my business to the point where if I want to, I can just work it a couple hours a day, and that's what I see for my vision and my future self, especially as we grow family.
- 3:45SPEAKER_00: And so I just want to help more people build their life while they build their business, and you get to do both.
- 3:52SPEAKER_02: I love them.
- 3:53SPEAKER_02: Build their life as they build their business.
- 3:55SPEAKER_02: Now, one thing that stuck out to me there is that you said you decided, and this is something that like I say on my podcast, my stories, I'm like, it's a decision.
- 4:03SPEAKER_02: You choose, like you can choose this anytime.
- 4:05SPEAKER_02: You can choose this life.
- 4:06SPEAKER_02: Like you made a decision, I make a decision.
- 4:08SPEAKER_02: Like, this is a choice that we made then that we continue to make every day.
- 4:12SPEAKER_02: But I'm also very aware of the fact that sometimes people can be like, Well, like you make it sound so easy, like it's just a choice, or like that's not possible for me.
- 4:21SPEAKER_02: Like, maybe I'm confined to this job or I have to do this.
- 4:24SPEAKER_02: So, what words of wisdom, or maybe because you were working more of a, you know, for someone else not having your own thing, what allowed you to actually say that, okay, it is possible for me, I can make that decision.
- 4:36SPEAKER_02: And what was that like turning point or jump?
- 4:38SPEAKER_02: Or maybe it wasn't a flick of a switch, maybe it was something that was longer than that.
- 4:42SPEAKER_02: But how did you get from, oh, that sounds like must be nice, to I can do that too?
- 4:47SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's such a good point because I remember one of my coaches who you're good friends with too, Kelly.
- 4:52SPEAKER_00: She was like, you know, you have time to just start your podcast.
- 4:56SPEAKER_00: And I literally wanted to shake the screen.
- 4:58SPEAKER_00: I tell her this all the time.
- 4:59SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, okay, no, I don't.
- 5:03SPEAKER_00: Like, I was so committed to how hard my life was.
- 5:05SPEAKER_00: I was like, you don't get it.
- 5:06SPEAKER_00: So like I understand that place if you're in a spot right now listening, feeling like, I literally have no time.
- 5:12SPEAKER_00: Like, I don't know how to do this.
- 5:14SPEAKER_00: It doesn't fit into my life.
- 5:16SPEAKER_00: I really had to work on rewiring that subconsciously.
- 5:19SPEAKER_00: And that was not an overnight shift.
- 5:21SPEAKER_00: It was like I bounced into being in this space where it felt like it was flowing more and I had more time.
- 5:27SPEAKER_00: And then all of a sudden, some things would happen.
- 5:29SPEAKER_00: I'd revert back to old patterns.
- 5:30SPEAKER_00: And it was this like ebb and flow of learning how to rewire that and actually build the strategy the way I wanted to.
- 5:38SPEAKER_00: And so it wasn't an immediate shift.
- 5:41SPEAKER_00: And I was going back and forth.
- 5:43SPEAKER_00: So if you find yourself caught in that place, I would say, like, that is normal.
- 5:47SPEAKER_00: That was part of my journey.
- 5:48SPEAKER_00: It's part of a lot of my clients' journeys where we revert back to old habits.
- 5:52SPEAKER_00: I'm sure you could speak to that in so many ways, like with your work you do as well.
- 5:57SPEAKER_00: So knowing that it's going to be a journey for you, I think is really important.
- 6:02SPEAKER_00: But also, I learned a lot about time.
- 6:04SPEAKER_00: That was a big hang up for me.
- 6:06SPEAKER_00: I was just like, I don't have enough time.
- 6:08SPEAKER_00: I don't have enough time.
- 6:09SPEAKER_00: That's what I kept praying over myself.
- 6:11SPEAKER_00: And it's funny to think about now, but I still catch myself doing it, you know, like when we're in weekend mode and we're doing things, I'm like, we don't have enough time for that.
- 6:20SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, Brittany, like stop.
- 6:22SPEAKER_00: Like I'll say it even in my day-to-day life.
- 6:25SPEAKER_00: But I had to start saying to myself, no, I have more than enough time.
- 6:28SPEAKER_00: No, I have more than enough time, because you'll be surprised how time starts to expand for you or other ideas come in that are going to time hack that for you.
- 6:36SPEAKER_00: There's so many different ways that it starts to change for you, but it starts with the underlying belief that you do have enough time.
- 6:43SPEAKER_00: And it's gonna feel so weird as you say that, especially at the beginning when you feel like the reality is I don't have enough time right now.
- 6:51SPEAKER_00: So I had to start saying that to myself over and over again in the background of my mind.
- 6:56SPEAKER_00: And that really started to expand things for me.
- 6:59SPEAKER_00: And then I dialed it into business, like and someone said this to me, and I can't remember who said it to me.
- 7:05SPEAKER_00: And it's just always stuck with me.
- 7:06SPEAKER_00: They're like, listen, millionaires and billionaires could literally not exist if this had to do with time.
- 7:12SPEAKER_00: If it had to do with time, they could not be here today.
- 7:15SPEAKER_00: Like your inputs into your business do not actually have to equal what you're earning.
- 7:20SPEAKER_00: It's it's a completely different concept to that.
- 7:22SPEAKER_00: And just being able to break it down logically really helped me shift things in my mind.
- 7:29SPEAKER_00: And so as I was making moves inside my business, if it didn't fit that future version, I was like, okay, no, we're gonna have to find a different way to do this.
- 7:36SPEAKER_00: Like, that's not for me.
- 7:39SPEAKER_02: I love it.
- 7:40SPEAKER_02: I love that you wanted to find your different way because that's the thing too.
- 7:43SPEAKER_02: Like everyone's going to have their different way of what they want it to look like.
- 7:46SPEAKER_02: And your thoughts, like you said, are so powerful that you say out loud.
- 7:49SPEAKER_02: I even find myself saying, I don't have, I was just saying that I think last week, I don't have enough time.
- 7:53SPEAKER_02: I was like, wait, no, because then you're dictating I don't have enough time.
- 7:56SPEAKER_02: And so that's what's gonna happen is you're not gonna have enough time because you're saying you don't have enough time.
- 8:02SPEAKER_02: And so even just bringing, I think, your awareness to the things like what are the thoughts that I'm thinking, what are the words that I'm saying, either out loud or in my head, words slash beliefs that are creating the structure of my life, right?
- 8:15SPEAKER_02: Because when you say those things, it creates like the house you live in.
- 8:17SPEAKER_02: I always like to say, your thoughts create the house you live in.
- 8:19SPEAKER_02: So all those thoughts, like you said, are saying, well, then create the house if I don't have enough time.
- 8:24SPEAKER_02: You can build any kind of house you want.
- 8:26SPEAKER_02: You can build a pink house, a blue house, a mansion, a tiny house, a van on wheels, whatever you want.
- 8:32SPEAKER_02: But that's even what you said about creating the life you want.
- 8:34SPEAKER_02: It doesn't have to look like Britney's house or Liv's house.
- 8:36SPEAKER_02: It can be your house, but whatever you want your house to look like, you get to build yourself and you have the choice to do so.
- 8:43SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 8:44SPEAKER_00: That's like literally it.
- 8:45SPEAKER_00: It's such a good analogy.
- 8:46SPEAKER_00: Love it.
- 8:47SPEAKER_02: And I know you recently moved to the farm, which is like I recently moved out of the city and I thought that was slow living.
- 8:52SPEAKER_02: I feel like you're the most wholesome, fun, slow living.
- 8:56SPEAKER_02: So how have you kind of navigated those changes?
- 9:00SPEAKER_02: Is it more slow?
- 9:01SPEAKER_02: Maybe there's more work because you're on a farm.
- 9:03SPEAKER_02: I don't really know about farming.
- 9:05SPEAKER_02: But it sounds fun.
- 9:06SPEAKER_02: And I've been loving to watch kind of like those changes and how you kind of navigate this whole new whole new life, right?
- 9:15SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 9:16SPEAKER_00: It's so funny because this is literally the thing everyone asks me about moving to the farm.
- 9:21SPEAKER_00: Number one, they're like, How did a city girl move to a farm?
- 9:23SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, I'm actually not a city girl.
- 9:25SPEAKER_00: I'm from a small town, so this is not wild for me.
- 9:28SPEAKER_00: But um, the second thing that people ask me is they're like, oh yeah, it's like simple living.
- 9:33SPEAKER_00: And it's like, yeah, it is.
- 9:34SPEAKER_00: It's a slow pace, it's a simple life.
- 9:37SPEAKER_00: It's a hardworking life.
- 9:38SPEAKER_00: Like, I watch what they do and I'm like, I literally have no interest in doing that.
- 9:43SPEAKER_00: That is like hard labor.
- 9:45SPEAKER_00: But it's a very like slow moving, slow-paced life.
- 9:49SPEAKER_00: And it's taught me so much in business.
- 9:51SPEAKER_00: It did initially when I first started dating Matt, and it's a whole other thing, like immersing myself, being in this life.
- 9:58SPEAKER_00: Like they truly do slow down for breakfast.
- 10:00SPEAKER_00: They they eat lunch.
- 10:02SPEAKER_00: Like Matt pulls me out of my office.
- 10:04SPEAKER_00: He's like, What are you doing?
- 10:05SPEAKER_00: It's lunchtime.
- 10:06SPEAKER_00: I'm like, I have things to do.
- 10:08SPEAKER_00: He's like, No, it's lunchtime.
- 10:09SPEAKER_00: I made you lunch.
- 10:10SPEAKER_00: I'm like, what?
- 10:11SPEAKER_00: Like he's like, okay, well, like you're gonna rest after lunch, right?
- 10:15SPEAKER_00: I'm like, rest.
- 10:17SPEAKER_00: Like, you know, it's just like it's wild.
- 10:20SPEAKER_00: They have like a routine.
- 10:22SPEAKER_00: And so learning how to slow down even further has been really cool.
- 10:27SPEAKER_00: Um, but I do it because I have other things I want to do in life too, besides just my business.
- 10:34SPEAKER_00: I love my business and I love the life we're building here and I want time for it.
- 10:38SPEAKER_00: And I think that that's important too.
- 10:40SPEAKER_00: It might not be a farm life for you, it could be your kids, it could be time to work out, it could be a hobby.
- 10:48SPEAKER_00: It doesn't matter what it is, but I make the time now for the things that I want to do.
- 10:53SPEAKER_02: So it's kind of like taught you to make even more time, I guess you could say, for things outside your business or that also contribute to like the life you want to create.
- 11:01SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and just giving myself permission to do it, you know.
- 11:03SPEAKER_00: I think I was always waiting for permission to take a break or waiting for permission to take rest.
- 11:08SPEAKER_00: And that's been like another big journey for me of like working through my work hard paradigm and how I grew up and all of those things play into it, but watching them be so successful on this farm and just like they literally they nap every day.
- 11:25SPEAKER_00: It's a wild concept to me, you know.
- 11:27SPEAKER_00: Like I always attributed success to that, like you're working hard and you're getting things done, and it's like breaking that down even further.
- 11:35SPEAKER_00: It's like they're super successful and they take naps, you know.
- 11:39SPEAKER_02: Like, I love that because I take naps.
- 11:42SPEAKER_02: I don't know what your I probably have heard what your human design is, but I probably forget many gen.
- 11:46SPEAKER_02: I'm a manny gen, yeah.
- 11:47SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I was like, my instinct is telling me many gen.
- 11:49SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I'm a projector, so to me, slowness and naps.
- 11:51SPEAKER_02: I'm like what you're describing just sounds delicious.
- 11:54SPEAKER_02: And I understand what you mean that work hard, and I think it's also a what we've absorbed in our generation from the previous generation, depending on like how we grew up, about like work hard to be successful, grind, grind, grind, hustle, and even like the Gary Van which up to the world, which is like hustle, can almost sometimes be too much if you feel like you can never slow down, take breaks.
- 12:16SPEAKER_02: Even as Manny Jens, I know you're supposed to honor when you're getting inspiration.
- 12:19SPEAKER_02: Yes, you run with it, but when you don't, you don't force it.
- 12:21SPEAKER_02: And projector is kind of like similar and taking rest.
- 12:25SPEAKER_02: Slowness is a big thing for people.
- 12:28SPEAKER_02: And so many people are uncomfortable with slowness.
- 12:30SPEAKER_02: They feel like they always have to be doing whether it's either doing in their business or there's doing the laundry or the cleaning, or you know, versus maybe letting the cleaning go or letting other things go that actually then create more inspiration or more energy that's gonna feed back into your business or feedback into your kids or your life or your marriage or whatever it is.
- 12:50SPEAKER_02: So I love that you're embracing slowness because I feel like we all need to embrace more slowness and I think it's Taurus season now.
- 12:57SPEAKER_02: So Taurus is like slowness doing like vibes.
- 13:00SPEAKER_00: I feel like that's oh yes.
- 13:03SPEAKER_00: It's a whole thing.
- 13:04SPEAKER_00: It's a whole thing.
- 13:04SPEAKER_00: And it's like planting season here too, right?
- 13:07SPEAKER_00: So it's like planting the seeds for what you're gonna do in the future and seeing all that come to fruition and the trust that they have.
- 13:13SPEAKER_00: Like it's so cool how that business model that is just like centuries old is just like I'm learning so much from it from living it here too.
- 13:22SPEAKER_00: It's it's cool for sure.
- 13:24SPEAKER_02: So when you're creating that like balance between life and work, are there specific things?
- 13:29SPEAKER_02: Like, do you have rules about like I only work these hours or only take this many calls per day?
- 13:35SPEAKER_02: Or do you allow it to ebb and flow?
- 13:37SPEAKER_02: Like, how do you specifically balance it or do you not have rules?
- 13:40SPEAKER_00: Or so such a good question.
- 13:43SPEAKER_00: The one thing that is like a non-negotiable for me is I make my calendar every Friday for the next week, and it has completely changed my business, and it seems like such a small thing.
- 13:56SPEAKER_00: Like we hear all the time like, do you know what tasks you're gonna do tomorrow?
- 14:00SPEAKER_00: Write those down, but while you end your day before you start your next day, and it's like those simple things that we're told to do actually make all the difference if we decide to do them.
- 14:10SPEAKER_00: And so every Friday without fail, I write out my calendar for the next week with my to-dos, and I only put two to three to-dos on a day.
- 14:19SPEAKER_00: Like I used to be superwoman and I used to feel like, oh, I've got this 60 item to-do list that I'm gonna like get done, and I'd never get it done, or I would like do the sprint and puke method, which is like you like work insanely hard and then you have nothing left to give for a couple of weeks.
- 14:35SPEAKER_00: And I was like living my months like that inside business.
- 14:38SPEAKER_00: But when I create this on Fridays for myself, I rest differently on weekends because I know tasks are going to get completed.
- 14:45SPEAKER_00: I know that those follow-up items that are sitting there are going to get completed or worked on at least next week.
- 14:51SPEAKER_00: I schedule in my appointments and I only allow for three to four appointments a day.
- 14:56SPEAKER_00: Otherwise, I know I'm tapped out and I'm not giving my best to my clients or myself.
- 15:01SPEAKER_00: And the only putting two to three items a day like really shifted things for me because otherwise it was like craziness inside my calendar and I couldn't take time off.
- 15:11SPEAKER_00: And Fridays, I don't book any appointments and I let that just be like a little loose for myself.
- 15:17SPEAKER_00: I have a couple of tasks I always do on Fridays, but I like having the element of freedom.
- 15:22SPEAKER_00: It was this balance between like creating a schedule, but also keeping freedom for myself.
- 15:26SPEAKER_00: I didn't want to be too regimented, but when I had no schedule, there was nothing getting done in the business as well.
- 15:33SPEAKER_00: So finding that balance.
- 15:35SPEAKER_02: I love that.
- 15:36SPEAKER_02: And I take Fridays off to like no calls, like I have to do some work, but like Fridays I feel like are always like I call them flexible Fridays because I mean you never know what's gonna come up.
- 15:45SPEAKER_02: Now, what if someone had, you know, maybe they're in their nine to five still and they it's like if they don't create or book time for play or like life, then they'll just end up working.
- 15:58SPEAKER_02: Like, have you ever struggled with?
- 16:00SPEAKER_02: I know right now you're really good at like only planning work hours and like allowing play around that.
- 16:04SPEAKER_02: Like I'm the same, but I remember there's one time where like if I didn't book out and was like, no, I have to have fun or play in this time and take a break, I would just keep working.
- 16:13SPEAKER_02: So, like, did you at one point also have to like schedule that in, or how did you balance it when you feel like there was a never-ending to-do list that actually maybe had, you know, like had to get done?
- 16:25SPEAKER_02: Does that make sense?
- 16:25SPEAKER_02: That transition period, you know?
- 16:27SPEAKER_00: Totally.
- 16:28SPEAKER_00: Like, especially like when you're saying that you have a nine to five and you're trying to build a business on top of that, like it is a lot of work, like there's a lot that's going into those days.
- 16:37SPEAKER_00: So I did a couple of things.
- 16:38SPEAKER_00: I would create like fun around the to-do list as well.
- 16:42SPEAKER_00: I call it like wrapping your feminine energy around your masculine tasks.
- 16:45SPEAKER_00: So, like I loved going to Starbucks and being in chapters and like sitting there and doing work.
- 16:51SPEAKER_00: Like that felt really fun to me.
- 16:52SPEAKER_00: So, like, if you can find those elements of fun to wrap around your to-do list, you'll be surprised, like your creative ideas that are coming through.
- 16:59SPEAKER_00: You will get more work done, you'll get higher level work done.
- 17:03SPEAKER_00: So that was one thing I used to do.
- 17:05SPEAKER_00: And the other thing is, is I had to start telling myself that more fun I had, the more money I made.
- 17:10SPEAKER_00: Because it was this fear.
- 17:13SPEAKER_00: It was like this fear of like, if I wasn't working, I wasn't gonna make money.
- 17:17SPEAKER_00: And I had to see that, like, hey, the more fun I have, the more money I make, the more creative I am, the more my social media is lit.
- 17:24SPEAKER_00: Like everything worked better when I was having a lot of fun.
- 17:27SPEAKER_00: And also your content of you having fun sells for you.
- 17:31SPEAKER_00: Like, that's just the thing as a business owner.
- 17:33SPEAKER_00: Like, people are looking at your lifestyle inside your business and they're buying it.
- 17:38SPEAKER_00: So my content, like going and having fun was also work.
- 17:42SPEAKER_00: Like it became a task for me, if you know what I mean.
- 17:45SPEAKER_02: I love I think everyone needs to like write this down in their notes app or post it.
- 17:50SPEAKER_02: The more fun I have, the more money I make.
- 17:52SPEAKER_02: And if you're not having fun in what you do right now, that's also probably like a little nudge that we need to either change what you're doing, how you're doing.
- 18:00SPEAKER_02: Um, because you should, I think, always have a business you love.
- 18:04SPEAKER_02: And I think so many people are stuck in jobs that they hate thinking they can't do it.
- 18:08SPEAKER_02: But I think if you have a desire to create a business you love, I always say if you want to be a millionaire knitting sweaters for cats, you can do it.
- 18:15SPEAKER_02: If that's what really like lights you up is knitting sweaters for cats, go do it because I think you can, and I feel like you would agree with this.
- 18:22SPEAKER_01: Just popping on here for a moment because I am on a mission.
- 18:27SPEAKER_01: I mission it to help more women with callings inside them create massive impact and wealth through ease and flow, which naturally happens when you are aligned.

- 19:27SPEAKER_01: DM me any questions or check out the link below.
- 19:30SPEAKER_01: And now let's get back to the episode.
- 19:32SPEAKER_00: Oh, people make money on the internet from literally getting on YouTube and eating in front of cameras.
- 19:38SPEAKER_00: Like it's crazy.
- 19:39SPEAKER_00: They can do that.
- 19:40SPEAKER_00: Like you can literally do anything.
- 19:42SPEAKER_02: Which I think is also a magical, almost like privilege of the living in 2022 that maybe our parents can get is like you could literally be a millionaire doing absolutely anything that actually lights your soul on fire.
- 19:55SPEAKER_02: You like, especially with TikTok, and I know TikTok can sometimes be toxic, but like I think it also just goes to show that like you could literally do anything.
- 20:04SPEAKER_02: So if it's on your heart, go do it because yeah, there's there's so much possibility.
- 20:10SPEAKER_00: Yeah, we're lucky.
- 20:11SPEAKER_00: We're so lucky to have the internet, and that's like another thing I've had to be really careful of on my journey because you were mentioning like sometimes TikTok can be toxic and totally can be.
- 20:19SPEAKER_00: Like social media has its sides that it's like a double-edged sword, right?
- 20:24SPEAKER_00: And I I had to be really careful about like what I was saying about social media too on my business journey.
- 20:29SPEAKER_00: Because, like, if I was focused on how much I hated Instagram, like, how was I ever gonna get anything back from the platform, you know?
- 20:36SPEAKER_00: So, like I just kept saying, like, I'm so lucky to have this opportunity.
- 20:40SPEAKER_00: People could literally find my link at any point in time.
- 20:43SPEAKER_00: Like, I do not have to physically beat in front of someone or physically be on my phone to make a sale.
- 20:49SPEAKER_00: And I think that's really important too when you're talking about time hacking and having fun.
- 20:54SPEAKER_00: It's like your post lives on forever, like the internet lives on forever.
- 20:58SPEAKER_00: You never know when someone's gonna find that and pay.
- 21:00SPEAKER_00: And so trust in that too, as you're going out there having your fun.
- 21:04SPEAKER_02: I love that's like miracle energy.
- 21:06SPEAKER_02: I love that.
- 21:07SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 21:08SPEAKER_00: Why wouldn't they find you?
- 21:10SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 21:10SPEAKER_02: I love it.
- 21:11SPEAKER_02: I feel like you just like boosted me for the day.
- 21:13SPEAKER_02: Amazing.
- 21:14SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 21:14SPEAKER_02: I want to switch gears for a second and kind of talk about any game changers that you feel, well, right now, maybe in the last like or May.
- 21:23SPEAKER_02: So maybe anything this year that you've done that really has shifted things in your life, whether they've shifted things in business, your mindset, your like, I know you mentioned, I think, doing 75 Hard or something like that, but like maybe there was a book, a podcast, anything that you feel where it's like, oh, this was a game changer for me.
- 21:41SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 21:42SPEAKER_00: Well, 75 Hard was a game changer for me.
- 21:44SPEAKER_00: I did that last summer.
- 21:46SPEAKER_00: It was hands on the best thing I did for my business.
- 21:49SPEAKER_00: I grew to 70k months and then 100k months during that time period.
- 21:53SPEAKER_00: And I attribute it to the discipline.
- 21:55SPEAKER_00: Like I was plugged into my life in all areas, like 75.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: Heart really does that for you.
- 22:02SPEAKER_00: And um, the confidence from completing the 75 hard, I was like, I can literally do anything at this point.
- 22:09SPEAKER_00: Like, if I can complete that, I can do anything.
- 22:11SPEAKER_00: So if you're looking for something to like spark you and you do need something to like focus and get disciplined, I can't say enough good things about that.
- 22:19SPEAKER_00: And that's something like free you could go do.
- 22:21SPEAKER_00: It's not, it doesn't cost any money to do 75 hard.
- 22:24SPEAKER_00: Um, another thing that I recently sorry, this is what I'm not knowing.
- 22:27SPEAKER_02: 75 hard is no alcohol, no, I don't really know what it is.
- 22:31SPEAKER_02: Something for 75 days.
- 22:32SPEAKER_02: It's no bunch of stuff for 75 days, yes?
- 22:34SPEAKER_00: Like all these crazy rules.
- 22:36SPEAKER_00: So it's you have to do two workouts a day, you have to read 10 pages of a personal development book, take a photo of yourself every day, um, drink two gallons of water a day.
- 22:46SPEAKER_00: What am I missing?
- 22:48SPEAKER_00: One of your workouts has to be outside.
- 22:51SPEAKER_02: Okay, I'm sure that there's a lot of things.
- 22:53SPEAKER_02: So then how do you feel like because you're familiar with masculine and feminine?
- 22:56SPEAKER_02: How did that not feel rigid and too masculine?
- 23:00SPEAKER_02: Like, how did that, how did you how were you able to keep balance?
- 23:03SPEAKER_02: Because to me, that was like, oh my god, that's rules, my feminine can't flow.
- 23:06SPEAKER_02: Like, how does how did that work for you?
- 23:08SPEAKER_00: Like for two years, I watched all these girls like that, like are from my hometown, like do 75 Heart, and I was like, why would you ever do that?
- 23:15SPEAKER_00: Number one, call it hard.
- 23:16SPEAKER_00: That sounds terrible.
- 23:17SPEAKER_00: Like, why did they name it that?
- 23:19SPEAKER_00: And number two, like, why would you ever force yourself to do all of this?
- 23:23SPEAKER_00: It took me a long time to come around to it as well.
- 23:25SPEAKER_00: Um, the amount of listening to trainings I did because of that from my two workouts a day, because they have to be 45 minutes long.
- 23:34SPEAKER_00: So, literally for an hour and a half a day at least, I was learning and I plugged into only feminine energy trainings.
- 23:42SPEAKER_00: And so I actually do really well.
- 23:44SPEAKER_00: I know when I'm moving and walking and listening to high-powered trainings or music.
- 23:49SPEAKER_00: And so the creative ideas that literally came through from doing this is like mind-blowing.
- 23:54SPEAKER_00: Like all my good business ideas came from that.
- 23:57SPEAKER_00: So I saw it like more as an opportunity to go even further into my feminine energy and learning.
- 24:03SPEAKER_00: And I had to stay strict with that.
- 24:06SPEAKER_00: Like, I had to actually do it.
- 24:08SPEAKER_00: Like sometimes I will shy away from shadow work or completing trainings or staying really focused on that for a period of time.
- 24:17SPEAKER_00: And like I couldn't escape it.
- 24:19SPEAKER_00: Do you know what I'm saying?
- 24:20SPEAKER_00: Like it just like allowed me to go even further through it.
- 24:23SPEAKER_00: It's this funny thing about staying disciplined and having freedom.
- 24:26SPEAKER_00: It's such an interesting concept, but the more disciplined I am, the more freedom I have.
- 24:30SPEAKER_00: The more disciplined I am with my finances.
- 24:33SPEAKER_00: I mean, like, I don't only earn multi-six figures, I save that every single year.
- 24:38SPEAKER_00: And it's like not what my finances used to look like.
- 24:42SPEAKER_00: The more disciplined I am with my calendar, the more time freedom I have in the end.
- 24:46SPEAKER_00: And it was so hard for me to get over at first.
- 24:49SPEAKER_00: Like it was like, you know, like I have this time freedom.
- 24:53SPEAKER_00: I have this freedom-based business.
- 24:54SPEAKER_00: Why do I need a calendar?
- 24:55SPEAKER_00: And it was just like what I was resisting was exactly what I needed every single time.
- 25:01SPEAKER_02: So, what I'm hearing is the more masculine structure you created, the more feminine flow you had.
- 25:07SPEAKER_02: So, in order to feel more, you needed more of that structure.
- 25:11SPEAKER_02: And 75 Hard gave you so much structure that all the creative the feminine could then flow more.
- 25:16SPEAKER_02: Oh, I love this.
- 25:17SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 25:18SPEAKER_00: I have a coach, um, Melanie Lair, you might know her.
- 25:21SPEAKER_00: She um she explains it like this she's like, view your feminine energy as water.
- 25:27SPEAKER_00: She's like, you have water.
- 25:28SPEAKER_00: If you don't contain water, it literally goes everywhere.
- 25:31SPEAKER_00: Like your masculine energy is the cup that's holding all of the water.
- 25:34SPEAKER_00: It's like until you do that, you don't have a foundation to hold all of that beautiful energy.
- 25:39SPEAKER_02: You know, I say the same thing, and I thought that I don't know, maybe you I didn't know it was her that you spoke it.
- 25:44SPEAKER_02: I'm not in any of the containers, but that's interesting.
- 25:45SPEAKER_02: I use the same thing.
- 25:46SPEAKER_02: Yeah, maybe it's like probably circulated, and I heard it from someone else who heard it from her too, but that's a perfect analogy.
- 25:52SPEAKER_02: Oh, and I love that.
- 25:52SPEAKER_02: Okay, so we have 75 hard.
- 25:54SPEAKER_02: Sorry, what was your next game changer?
- 25:56SPEAKER_00: Well, I keep investing in myself.
- 25:58SPEAKER_00: I think that this is really important to say, and it's not because I'm a coach.
- 26:02SPEAKER_00: I know you feel the same way.
- 26:03SPEAKER_00: It's not because you're a coach.
- 26:05SPEAKER_00: It's like, I don't care if you invest in me, but it's like investing in myself over and over and over again is the reason I continue to go to new heights.
- 26:14SPEAKER_00: Because I'm challenging myself, because I feel different when I'm being held.
- 26:18SPEAKER_00: And so I recently invested again in a one-on-one coach, and I've only been with her for three weeks.
- 26:23SPEAKER_00: And like, again, I can see everything taking another up level and raising the bar for myself.
- 26:28SPEAKER_00: And so I know when I'm getting into my comfort zone too much, and when I need that like accountability to go to the next level, and I can't say enough good things about having someone in my corner during those time periods in my life.
- 26:42SPEAKER_00: And I pretty much always have someone, whether it's a group program or a one-on-one coach, it's like I know I excel when I'm doing that.
- 26:51SPEAKER_00: So why would I make it harder on myself to not have someone in my corner, like helping me boost my confidence, helping me boost my belief, someone to share my wins with, all that good stuff.
- 27:02SPEAKER_00: I was out for lunch with a girlfriend a week ago, and she was saying to me, She's like, you know what's interesting to me?
- 27:08SPEAKER_00: And she's like, I'm so proud of you.
- 27:09SPEAKER_00: You're so successful, but you still invest in yourself.
- 27:12SPEAKER_00: And I was like, Yeah, because like I'm not investing to learn something that I don't already know necessarily.
- 27:18SPEAKER_00: Like it's that's not why I invest.
- 27:20SPEAKER_00: And so I think that anything you can do to keep support on your journey will continue to help you excel in any area.
- 27:28SPEAKER_02: I love that you said that because I think it's so true.
- 27:31SPEAKER_02: And I even because you are successful, I appreciate even more that you've said it because I think sometimes like when you're at 2K or 5k months, maybe you're like, yeah, you're gonna invest in yourself.
- 27:40SPEAKER_02: But even at your level, you still need someone else to hold space.
- 27:43SPEAKER_02: And even me, like I invest in group programs and I have a coach, I have a mentor, because even I can't hold space completely for myself.
- 27:50SPEAKER_02: And how do you expect to grow to where you want to go?
- 27:53SPEAKER_02: You need someone who's been there, someone who can give you the tools, the resources, the space to do that, because you can't do it alone.
- 27:59SPEAKER_02: I couldn't imagine getting from where I was to here alone.
- 28:02SPEAKER_02: Like I'd still be there 100%.
- 28:05SPEAKER_02: I'd 100% still be there.
- 28:07SPEAKER_02: And I really think it whether you want to use like quantum leap, which I know is really like trendy right now, or like fast track, whatever word you want to use, having someone else investing in yourself creates the space because then you're operating in the frequency of that's the person who I'm already there.
- 28:22SPEAKER_02: If I was already there, I'd invest in this person or I'd do this thing or whatever it is, right?
- 28:26SPEAKER_02: And so it's getting over that fear of investing yourself and like, okay, I know I need this.
- 28:30SPEAKER_02: Like you said, like I know, and it's trusting that nudge, that intuition.
- 28:34SPEAKER_02: So, what would you say when people are like, I'm sure you feel this all the time as I do?
- 28:39SPEAKER_02: People want to invest, they want to grow, but they're they're scared.
- 28:42SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 28:42SPEAKER_02: What do you say to those people?
- 28:44SPEAKER_00: I'm literally always scared.
- 28:45SPEAKER_00: If you're not scared, I'm a little worried.
- 28:47SPEAKER_00: Like, that's a normal human behavior.
- 28:50SPEAKER_00: Like, I think people feel like looking at successful people and people you idolize online that they don't ever feel fear.
- 28:57SPEAKER_00: And like they do every single day.
- 29:00SPEAKER_00: Every single day I feel fear.
- 29:02SPEAKER_00: Every single day I'm still working on money blocks and worried that the money might dry up or the clients might dry up, or that was the wrong post, or whatever.
- 29:11SPEAKER_00: Like, that's a normal human emotion.
- 29:13SPEAKER_00: If you don't have that, then we have bigger problems at hand, you know.
- 29:17SPEAKER_00: Like, so I make these with an element of fear.
- 29:21SPEAKER_00: I make this with an element of like, okay, like it's like excitement, but a little underlying tone of that.
- 29:28SPEAKER_00: It never goes away.
- 29:29SPEAKER_00: If you're waiting for that to go away, like it doesn't.
- 29:32SPEAKER_00: And you have to bet on yourself.
- 29:34SPEAKER_00: Like I always say this in in trainings and with clients, it's like, if you aren't willing to bet on yourself, then you might as well exit the game.
- 29:43SPEAKER_00: Because what this is, is like if you were willing to put in the work and see this until you are successful, then you would make the investment.
- 29:49SPEAKER_00: But the problem is, is like we don't want to make these investments because we're worried we're not gonna get the money back.
- 29:55SPEAKER_00: But it's like you got to be willing to bet on yourself, otherwise, like get out of the game because don't don't you believe you that you're gonna get some clients?
- 30:04SPEAKER_00: Don't you believe that you're gonna be successful?
- 30:06SPEAKER_00: You know, like you have to be willing to do that.
- 30:09SPEAKER_02: And I think that's also true for whether you're you know hiring a relationship coach, a health coach, a business, whatever it is, you have to be the same kind of thick thing applies.
- 30:18SPEAKER_00: Yeah, a hundred percent.
- 30:21SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I love that.
- 30:22SPEAKER_02: So is that so we have 75 heart investing in yourself?
- 30:25SPEAKER_02: Is there any other game changers you want to mention that kind of really allow you to expand and grow?
- 30:28SPEAKER_02: And they can be small things, like I don't know if it's like yeah, it doesn't have to be big.
- 30:32SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 30:34SPEAKER_00: Um, walking has been really good inside my business.
- 30:38SPEAKER_00: Love walking, right?
- 30:39SPEAKER_02: I get so many downloads, so many messages on walking, like it's it's crazy.
- 30:44SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and some of my clients, like literally, I don't know if you do this, but if you haven't, it'd be cool to experiment with.
- 30:50SPEAKER_00: Some of my clients during our one-on-one sessions will actually get on their treadmill or they'll go for a walk.
- 30:56SPEAKER_00: Like, if I can feel a lot of emotion coming up for them, I'm like, okay, go to your treadmill, okay, put on your coat, let's go outside.
- 31:02SPEAKER_00: And I like have them walk as they're talking because if you're making forward motion, you're not stuck in your old stories and your old self.
- 31:10SPEAKER_00: And it goes the same for you, like personally, when you're working on yourself.
- 31:14SPEAKER_00: Like, you know, like the last thing we want to do when we're in a shitty mood is like throw on our shoes and coat and go for a walk.
- 31:20SPEAKER_00: Like, we want to like sit in our emotions and sit in that, like just that yucky feeling.
- 31:26SPEAKER_00: It's like hard to convince yourself.
- 31:28SPEAKER_00: So if you can be forward moving, you can't be thinking about the negative, like it just doesn't work that way.
- 31:36SPEAKER_02: Oh, I love this.
- 31:36SPEAKER_02: I actually might try this.
- 31:37SPEAKER_02: I might get someone like, oh, I love this.
- 31:40SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's like game changing.
- 31:42SPEAKER_00: And then I just type notes for them because like they're walking, right?
- 31:45SPEAKER_02: Like I want them to remember things, but I love this like forward motion, like that's it sounds simple, but it gets it so profound because you are moving forward even as you're like talking through it.
- 31:58SPEAKER_02: Yeah, oh, I love this.
- 32:01SPEAKER_02: Especially I'm a self projector projector, which means we're like a sounding board.
- 32:05SPEAKER_02: This even sounds good from a sounding board perspective as I'm working through things, even if I was just taking myself on a walk to be oh, okay, I'm gonna use this.
- 32:12SPEAKER_02: I'm learning this.
- 32:14SPEAKER_00: And like turn if you're by yourself and you're not like talking to someone else, turn on your voice memo app and talk your things out as you're walking.
- 32:22SPEAKER_00: It's crazy when you go back and listen to your voice memos.
- 32:24SPEAKER_00: You're like, wait a second, that was really good, you know.
- 32:28SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I like this.
- 32:29SPEAKER_00: Oh, such an underrated tool.
- 32:32SPEAKER_02: So underrated is like the best thing.
- 32:34SPEAKER_02: And you yeah, I feel like you've been full of like underrated gems, even like the calendar thing, like simple stuff.
- 32:40SPEAKER_02: I think we always forget, but that really move the needle.
- 32:43SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that we don't like do like walking.
- 32:45SPEAKER_02: It doesn't have to be like, yes, invest in yourselves a bit more, but you can just walking and expanding your calendar.
- 32:52SPEAKER_00: Oh, I like underestimate me theme, you know.
- 32:54SPEAKER_00: Like you just go into everything.
- 32:58SPEAKER_02: Are there any like myths about kind of like what you do that you or like myths about your life that you've created that you feel like you'd want to debunk?
- 33:08SPEAKER_02: Like, I know you say like making money is easy, or maybe money comes to me easily.
- 33:14SPEAKER_02: And then do you feel like that's also a myth?
- 33:16SPEAKER_02: But like, do you know what I mean by like this kind of like space in kind of what we do that there's some myths about kind of building it or that it has to be hard, but then we also you know what I mean?
- 33:27SPEAKER_02: I feel like you know what yeah, yeah.
- 33:30SPEAKER_00: You know what um has been coming up a lot in client sessions is people will say, like, oh, I'm like we're putting all this work in, but I know it's supposed to be easy.
- 33:39SPEAKER_00: And it's like, okay, whoa, whoa, whoa.
- 33:41SPEAKER_00: That's not actually what that meant.
- 33:43SPEAKER_00: When we say let it be easy, that did not mean you don't put work in, you don't put action in.
- 33:49SPEAKER_00: Like if you're putting gas in your car, you still have to drive your car.
- 33:53SPEAKER_00: Like you still have to do the action to go.
- 33:56SPEAKER_00: And I know we hear like, oh, action's part of manifesting, it's part of doing the work.
- 34:00SPEAKER_00: And it's like when we make the statement like let it be easy, I truly believe it gets to be easy.
- 34:06SPEAKER_00: Like, let's define hard.
- 34:07SPEAKER_00: I talk about this on my podcast all the time.
- 34:10SPEAKER_00: Hard is going through grief.
- 34:11SPEAKER_00: Hard is losing someone you love.
- 34:13SPEAKER_00: Hard is hearing a health diagnosis that no one should have to hear.
- 34:16SPEAKER_00: Like, that is hard.
- 34:17SPEAKER_00: Hard is not getting on your social media and posting.
- 34:21SPEAKER_00: Is it challenging?
- 34:22SPEAKER_00: Is it a mind game?
- 34:24SPEAKER_00: Sure, but it is not hard.
- 34:26SPEAKER_00: And it's like, so one, define that for yourself in this whole like let it be easy statement.
- 34:32SPEAKER_00: But let it be easy did not mean like you're off the hook from doing work.
- 34:36SPEAKER_00: I just mean you don't have to hustle.
- 34:38SPEAKER_00: I just mean you don't have to cut off your left arm for people.
- 34:42SPEAKER_00: I just mean you can still have high standards and boundaries for yourself and love your life and that things can come to you.
- 34:49SPEAKER_00: But I didn't mean like you don't do work, and it I doesn't mean that it's wrong when you are putting in work.
- 34:55SPEAKER_00: Like if you love what you're you're doing and you're pouring your heart into it and you've got a really amazing launch, like I know that you're launching glow right now, and it's like you're doing all this beautiful work for it and you're pouring into it.
- 35:08SPEAKER_00: Like you do that because you love it and because you know that people are gonna get a big transformation from it.
- 35:13SPEAKER_00: Like, that's not wrong, right?
- 35:15SPEAKER_00: So I think sometimes as business owners, we can hear that let it be easy statement, and we're like questioning ourselves because we are well, it's supposed to be easy, but I'm doing all this work, and it's like, well, yeah, like you gotta do some work.
- 35:26SPEAKER_00: So don't get lost in that, I think is a big thing.
- 35:30SPEAKER_02: And I also think like work can become like easy, quote unquote, in terms of it doesn't have to be frustrating like when you're in alignment, like you can allow the work that you have to do to be more in flow.
- 35:42SPEAKER_02: I think easy can also be synonymous with like in flow or alignment, where like you're putting in work, but it's not like oh, it's so hard.
- 35:50SPEAKER_02: I have to show up on Instagram, oh so hard, I have to write a caption.
- 35:53SPEAKER_02: Because you can let like you know, writing a caption be easy if you're in flow and alignment is still work, but it's like flowy alignment work, not frustrated half-to shoulds kind of thing.
- 36:04SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and like I think you're probably like I am a little bit, and like I don't subscribe to business rules, like you know, when there's like you you brought up Gary V is like you know, he's got this rule about like you should be on all the platforms and posting everywhere, and it's like I don't subscribe to that.
- 36:20SPEAKER_00: I don't subscribe to DMing people and cold pitching, like that is literally the equivalent of door knocking and why I left the banking industry.
- 36:28SPEAKER_00: So no.
- 36:29SPEAKER_00: And so, like, I I think sometimes too, like there's two schools of of business online if you really like drill it down, and it's there's people teaching those methods and they work, and you can go do them, but you don't have to subscribe to that.
- 36:42SPEAKER_00: You can subscribe to the alignment side and doing the work that feels good to you, which for me does not mean DMs.
- 36:48SPEAKER_00: So it's like I don't do this list of like you got to do this to be successful, but I am putting in the aligned work that does feel good to talk to my community and get my message out there.
- 36:58SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I really think it's about doing it your way because even if like your way may not even be my way before like maybe you like webinars or this or that, and I like you know, there's so many different things that I think is it always has to be your way and coming back to you actually get to create it your way and you can take inspiration and things from other people, but it doesn't have to be any other way that doesn't feel good, and if it's in flow and alignment for you, that's kind of what matters in in all of life.
- 37:23SPEAKER_02: I think whether it's your business, your relationships also don't have to like, you know, you don't have to subscribe to rules for that.
- 37:28SPEAKER_02: If you don't want to get married, if you you know want to have kids before you, whatever it is, there's so many, I think, rules that we think we need to subscribe by, or so many opinions by other people, especially whether it's parenting or marriage or business, because of social media.
- 37:42SPEAKER_02: That no, like you get to create it your own way.
- 37:44SPEAKER_02: It doesn't have to look like someone else, you don't have to subscribe to anyone else's rules, even the rules that we're saying.
- 37:49SPEAKER_02: If it doesn't like feel good to you to walk and you'd rather, I don't know, bike or whatever.
- 37:54SPEAKER_00: Totally, totally like just like trust your internal guiding system and you can strengthen that, but you know, like take what you love from our episode and leave the rest, you know, like it's not gospel.
- 38:06SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and I think there's so much in also the permission piece.
- 38:10SPEAKER_02: I think you're missed like mentioning before, too, about actually just giving your permission to do it your way and even to test out all of the things and take a few nuggets from this episode, and then you know, go follow Britney and we'll have something below.
- 38:23SPEAKER_02: But like, you know, from all these people, and then find like your formula that that works for you.
- 38:28SPEAKER_02: Like for you, it's three, four calls a day.
- 38:30SPEAKER_02: For some people, they might want to do eight calls in one day if they're a generator.
- 38:34SPEAKER_02: Like, I'm a projector, I can't do more than three four either, like I'd be burnt out, right?
- 38:38SPEAKER_02: But I know there were some people that do eight calls a day, and I was like, I can't, I can't, and they're generators like that makes sense.
- 38:44SPEAKER_02: I'm like, nope, right?
- 38:46SPEAKER_02: But that works for them, right?
- 38:48SPEAKER_00: So I think too, if you don't know your human design, like maybe a lot of your listeners do, but like we're talking about projector and many gen and all this stuff, and you and I are holding the conversation, but like I remember first hearing that stuff and being like, what in the actual age is this?
- 39:03SPEAKER_00: Like, no.
- 39:05SPEAKER_00: And so I got a reading done and it was really cool because it gave me permission to do the things that I always felt like were maybe um like my weaknesses, you know.
- 39:16SPEAKER_00: Like as a Manny Jen, I have like multiple interests and I've got lots on the go and I pivot last minute.
- 39:22SPEAKER_00: And I used to feel like, why can't you just stick to this thing?
- 39:26SPEAKER_00: Like, you gotta stick to it, you know.
- 39:28SPEAKER_00: And I had a reading done and I was like, oh, that's my strength, you know.
- 39:32SPEAKER_00: So that's another cool thing in this conversation that can really help you find your internal things.
- 39:39SPEAKER_02: I I think everyone should find the human design.
- 39:41SPEAKER_02: If you haven't, guys, yeah, definitely do it.
- 39:42SPEAKER_02: It changed, but I learned I was projected.
- 39:44SPEAKER_02: I was like, wait, I'm only actually supposed to work four hours a day, which is like technically true.
- 39:48SPEAKER_02: We're basically like supposed to work less than the average person, and then like we're more potent.
- 39:54SPEAKER_02: So like when we're working, it's like super important.
- 39:56SPEAKER_02: We're able to do more and less time.
- 39:58SPEAKER_02: And then I was like, why am I not able?
- 40:00SPEAKER_02: Because at that point, my mentors were like a lot of generators, and like, why can I not pump out this, this, and that?
- 40:05SPEAKER_02: Like they're doing, and it was like you said, like, oh, I'm not built that way.
- 40:08SPEAKER_02: And so it's like that validation that I really kind of needed.
- 40:11SPEAKER_02: Like, really, oh, I can like, okay, that's just not how I'm built.
- 40:16SPEAKER_02: And I love I any managent I talk to, the same thing.
- 40:19SPEAKER_02: They're like, I used to think it was a bad thing that I hop from this and this, and they used to try to force themselves.
- 40:23SPEAKER_02: I was like, no, that's your genius.
- 40:25SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's your genius, and this can also help you in your relationships too.
- 40:29SPEAKER_00: I recently looked up my boyfriend Matt's um human design because I was feeling like, what the hell?
- 40:35SPEAKER_00: Like, he's like not getting work done.
- 40:37SPEAKER_00: Like, why is he just like, we have a list of things and you are taking a nap.
- 40:42SPEAKER_00: What are you doing?
- 40:43SPEAKER_00: Like, I was just like, I can't handle this.
- 40:46SPEAKER_00: And then I was like, wait a second, I need to look up his human design.
- 40:50SPEAKER_00: And then so I never said anything to him.
- 40:52SPEAKER_00: I just he's a projector and I started watching his behaviors around the house and I taught it to him last night.
- 40:57SPEAKER_00: Actually, I was like, well, because he's like, I've got a list of things we're doing tonight.
- 41:01SPEAKER_00: And I was like, yes, he's in his energy today, like we're doing this.
- 41:05SPEAKER_00: So I was teaching him afterwards, and I was like, Matt, you're a projector.
- 41:09SPEAKER_00: Like this, like you, it amazes me what you get done in like an hour.
- 41:14SPEAKER_00: Like, he got like three rooms set up in the house, all this stuff hung.
- 41:18SPEAKER_00: And I was just like, whoa.
- 41:19SPEAKER_00: And like, it's if you are like in a relationship too, I'd encourage you to look at his human design because it's really cool.
- 41:26SPEAKER_02: I strongly recommend this as well.
- 41:28SPEAKER_02: My boyfriend's a generator, and I this is one of the immediate things I asked when I first met him, by the way.
- 41:34SPEAKER_02: That in the you know, your signs, your earth, moon rising.
- 41:37SPEAKER_02: And it's just like he will get up at like 4 a.m., go to the gym, pump out.
- 41:41SPEAKER_02: Like, he can just go, go, go, work.
- 41:43SPEAKER_02: Like, I could not imagine it if it's 4 a.m.
- 41:45SPEAKER_02: go to the gym and then like work for 10 hours.
- 41:46SPEAKER_02: And he's like, no, and I was like, no, I need naps.
- 41:49SPEAKER_02: Like, so it's a very much an understanding of like it helps in a relationship to understand your human design.
- 41:56SPEAKER_02: And always be like sitting on the couch chilling, he's like working away.
- 41:58SPEAKER_02: I'm like, hmm, cool.
- 42:00SPEAKER_02: And like honoring that, yeah, I'm like, if you don't know your partner's human design, ask their mom or ask them for their birth time, make sure they get it because it is a deeper understanding once you pick up on things and realize, like, oh, that's your generator.
- 42:12SPEAKER_02: This and I'm like, like, no, like I do not have the energy, I need a nap.
- 42:20SPEAKER_00: And he was like feeling guilty that I was like running around and he's like, Can you sit down?
- 42:23SPEAKER_00: I'm like, I can't sit down, I don't want to sit down.
- 42:27SPEAKER_00: I was like, Kate, like you need to understand I'm a manifesting generator, and he literally thinks this is all witchcraft.
- 42:32SPEAKER_00: He's like, Can you stop?
- 42:33SPEAKER_00: I'm like, no, no, this is like it.
- 42:35SPEAKER_00: And then yeah, anyways, it it works both ways.
- 42:38SPEAKER_00: It's really cool to do in a relationship for sure.
- 42:41SPEAKER_02: And then like allowing that.
- 42:42SPEAKER_02: So for you guys, like when you're zooming around, like allowing yourself, like you can't versus I don't, I wouldn't try to make him because I know when he's generating or when a management's going, you just gotta let them go and do their thing.
- 42:51SPEAKER_02: Like, just like when a projector doesn't have the energy, you have to let them not have the energy.
- 42:57SPEAKER_00: Totally, totally.
- 42:59SPEAKER_02: I feel like we got so many, we talked on so many things.
- 43:02SPEAKER_02: Okay, I have one last question that I always ask all of my guests what does it mean for you to live well?
- 43:11SPEAKER_00: To be so happy when I go to bed at the end of the day that like I'm happy and everyone within my four walls is happy.
- 43:18SPEAKER_00: That's living well.
- 43:20SPEAKER_02: I love that.
- 43:22SPEAKER_02: That's such a good, like, it sounds like a simple answer, but I think it's something that's so underrated because I unfortunately do think that so many people are not happy in their in their lives or where they are.
- 43:34SPEAKER_02: And I hope they take this episode as an inspiration.
- 43:36SPEAKER_02: They go, they follow you, they continue to like look at what I'm saying, what we say, that like it is a choice.
- 43:42SPEAKER_02: We both, you know, created something from nothing, you can have this too, um, and kind of implement some of the stuff that we've talked through today, both in your business, your health, your relationships, um, to kind of help you do that.
- 43:53SPEAKER_02: Right?
- 43:53SPEAKER_02: Love that.
- 43:54SPEAKER_02: So thank you for coming on, Brittany.
- 43:56SPEAKER_02: Um, like I said, we're we're gonna link everything about you, your podcast, um, your Instagram kind of whatever other links you'll send me over.
- 44:04SPEAKER_02: Um, Morgan edits it for me.
- 44:06SPEAKER_02: So actually, you don't mean to send it to me because Morgan can just link it.
- 44:09SPEAKER_02: This is my sister.
- 44:11SPEAKER_02: I was like, oh great, Morgan's your sister, love her.
- 44:14SPEAKER_02: Um, so yeah, go follow on Brittany.
- 44:16SPEAKER_02: Even if you don't have a business, I really suggest like following her on Instagram, listening to her podcasts because every a lot of the things you say can be applied to just a life, even if you're not an entrepreneur.
- 44:26SPEAKER_02: Um, and I feel like you give me just good feeling vibes.
- 44:30SPEAKER_02: I always feel nice when I watch your stories, even if it's just like your decap coffee or like doing a poll.
- 44:35SPEAKER_02: I just like it's authentic, it's genuine, and I think you'd be a positive influence for everyone listening um to follow.
- 44:43SPEAKER_00: So that's what nice says, thank you.
- 44:45SPEAKER_00: You just made my day.
- 44:46SPEAKER_00: That's like literally what I want people to feel.
- 44:48SPEAKER_00: So thank you.
- 44:49SPEAKER_00: Well, good, you're it's resonating.
- 44:51SPEAKER_02: Um I'm pinning down what you're thinking of.
- 44:53SPEAKER_02: Um, so yeah, thank you for coming on.
